COLUMBIA, S.C. (UPI) — A South Carolina man is in the hospital and his fiancee in jail after police say she stabbed him in a disagreement about what colors should be in their wedding.

Police said the couple got into an argument Christmas Day at an apartment in Blythewood, WLTX reported Thursday.

When the man attempted to leave, police said Krysta James, 34, stabbed him in the upper body.

She was arrested and charged with criminal domestic violence.
