Palin On Obama’s IRS Attack Dog: ‘Will We Stand For This?’

Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin has written a few guest columns for Breitbart, but Wednesday’s piece on what the Internal Revenue Service-Tea Party scandal means for every American is by far the best.

Palin talks about how, since the beginning of the Tea Party movement in 2006, Constitutional conservatives have successfully been marginalized in the press, despite the fact that the Administration of President Barack Obama evidently has considered the true conservative movement a far greater threat to his own agenda, and his political ambition, than he ever did mainstream establishment Republicans.

That’s evidenced, a companion story by Craig Shirley points out, by the fact that the IRS targeted only Tea Party-type nonprofits over at least the past two years, passing over run-of-the mill Republican groups — taking for granted  that establishment Republicans were never an impediment to liberalism under Obama:

The unspoken 600-pound gorilla in the room is that the IRS did not go after Republican Party groups. There has been some noise made in that direction, but it is just that — noise. The real IRS vendetta was aimed at the Tea Party movement and not at the myriad GOP inside-the-beltway groups like American Crossroads or Americans for Job Security or any of the other interlocking GOP seen as front groups for corporate America.

…The Republican Establishment is pea green with envy but also embarrassment “that the IRS did not think them worthy of harassing, or even worse, on the same side as the IRS. In other words, the IRS saw the GOP as too feckless to worry about. Either explanation is not very appealing for the national Republicans.”

Now, says Palin, more Americans are seeing the sinister side of enabling the IRS to enforce Obama’s social policies, exactly as the Tea Party called it, back when everyone thought small-government conservatives who bothered to organize were just a bunch of stone-throwing kooks:

Please remember that some of us warned America about the dangers of having the IRS play such a big role with the administration of Obamacare. We were laughed at and mocked relentlessly back then. It sure doesn’t seem funny now, does it?

This IRS scandal is especially terrible because Americans live in fear of the IRS like no other entity because this monstrous bureaucracy has the power to take your hard-earned money. Your wages are the sum of your labors; hence, the IRS has the power to steal the fruits of your labors. Average Americans live in fear of making an error on their tax returns that could cost them massive amounts of money, plus their reputation and good name.  If a small business makes a mistake, the IRS can shut them down and send them to jail.

The IRS has always been the face of intimidating and controlling big government. Now it’s the face of corrupt big government that actively attacks the people it is supposed to serve. This isn’t the change America was hoping for, Mr. President, but it certainly is transformative.

The collective disgust — and it’s coming, now, from true conservatives, liberals and everyone in between — over the ease with which a Presidential Administration can now wield aloof, dispassionate Federal agencies against the people should catalyze a majority against the Orwellian reality of big government power.

These Obama administration scandals are a sad and stark reminder that only limited government can ensure liberty. At our core, we Americans just want to be left alone to live freely, peacefully, and productively.

… It’s time for all Americans to stand together and join in the growing outraged chorus that looks at our out-of-control government and says, “Enough is enough!”

Ben Bullard

Reconciling the concept of individual sovereignty with conscientious participation in the modern American political process is a continuing preoccupation for staff writer Ben Bullard. A former community newspaper writer, Bullard has closely observed the manner in which well-meaning small-town politicians and policy makers often accept, unthinkingly, their increasingly marginal role in shaping the quality of their own lives, as well as those of the people whom they serve. He argues that American public policy is plagued by inscrutable and corrupt motives on a national scale, a fundamental problem which individuals, families and communities must strive to solve. This, he argues, can be achieved only as Americans rediscover the principal role each citizen plays in enriching the welfare of our Republic.

PJM EXCLUSIVE: Ex-Diplomats Report New Benghazi
Whistleblowers with Info Devastating to Clinton and Obama

Several folks have mentioned Canada Free Press’ Doug
Hagmann’s Benghazi series of reportage updates.

If you read but one of them, probably should make it this:

Body of lies from Benghazi to Barack

…and, try to review the article’s hyperlink to Montagraph. Montagraph seems a
little tin-act, but his work has some serious followers –including an
excellent group of Freepers, whose link-laden threads are just a few clicks

Hagmann in this 09/25/12 piece points convincingly to the pair of
Brennan-driven defense contractors whose ”rogue employees” in the spring of
2008 sanitized Obama’s passport file as the actual producers of the video.

Also want to remind, regarding the Petraus decap, that for a short time after
his resignation, as the admin related the long FBI investigation of the
Broadwell affair, the approprite congressmen and committee chairmen who should
have been immediately and scrupulously advised of an FBI investigation of a
serving CIA Director, but were not, were in the news protesting the DOJ

    • Jana

Wow, I read this from and is this ever an eye opener. Here are a few excerpts:

****To bring more specificity to the above, it would appear that there is a possible connection between the dissemination of the controversial video with the 2008 passport office break-in scandal that involved improper computer access to the passport records of Barack Hussein Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and John McCain. The latter is an enigma in its own right, having its own level of complicity and complexity. Additionally, that particular event appears to involve other events at its periphery, including but not limited to the murder of the key witness in that case, Lieutenant Quarles Harris Jr. (Who was later found murdered)*****

To how they changed the wording of the original video (hmmm suspicious)
Then it goes into the timeline of the Benghazi attack and states:

***Numerous reports suggest that Ambassador Stevens suffered either ante-mortem or post-mortem injuries suggestive of sodomy. Additional reports also suggest that numerous classified documents were recovered from the consulate office by the attackers.******

No wonder the White House is trying to divert our attention.

The evil liberal democrats hate the good that comes with the Tea Party. They (Tea Party) are nothing more than hard working baby boomers who want their America back from their best remembered Youth America greatness. No harm in greatness, instead of ilk deceased failure this American President poser brings to the once great nation. is 50% of this country satisfied with this ilk? I can’t believe this is the case. It must be that this voting 50% is plainly just unattached from reality and it is our job to make sure they are awaken before it is too late. many of this 50% have no one left to sit around their kitchen table with that experienced the great depression or WWII. I remember this setting all to well when we’d go visit my grand mother, she’d take us to see our grant grandmother in a elderly home and we’d listen to the stories with intense listening. I remember myself think I would never allow such disdain in my own life. And to think now under this idiot leader we have, I am conteplating ending a career of 35 years because that niche market has been destroyed by this idiots policies. There is no direction for many small business like mine. Too little too late. Very sad and senseless.

    • $910553

You need to understand that the Rove Republicans hate the Tea Party every bit as much as the Leftists do. But then that shouldn’t be a surprise, since the GOP has become nothing more than the OTHER end of the same steaming turd as the Democrat party. The only difference is whose cronies get to slop at the government trough when THEY are in charge.

We will NOT vote our way out of this mess.

Do not give up. Keep up the good fight. To give up is what they want you to do, so you will go with the flow. This is what they want. Remember what John Paul Jones siad, “I have not yet begun to fight?” This counts even today, not just during his naval battles. Here are some things about Obama bin Laden and his administration.
These are some of many I have, but what else is new with Obama bin Laden’s administration? FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! 하나님하고 나라를 위해서!
You need both love of country and faith in God to be a patriot.

While I admire Thomas Jefferson, he was–like all of us–imperfect–and wrong on “A patriot must be a religious man.”
I am a patriot and love my country but I am not even a little bit religious. And I am much more worried about the large gov’t institutions that seem to be impossible to get rid of than a president that will be gone in 3 years.

        • Rick

REALLY??? Because I am even MORE CONCERNED about Representatives and Senators who feel they are above abiding by their constituits wishes. If they did that the problem of over selous and to big of Government would probably go away.

          • Rocco

I will go along with that too, we need term limits for congress. But I fear we will always have Big Gov’t, as too many people in power make too much money off it.

          • Chief Boring

Once again, we have all the term limits we need. We could turn over the House every two years, and the Senate in six . Until we get members who will do what we elect them for, and keep the ones who do so. Term limits would reauire a Constitutional Amendment; ain’t gonna happen. Study, learn, and VOTE! Don’t stay home and pout because candidates are not perfect. No one is.

          • Jana

I am one of the few that does do her homework on the candidates. I study them, look them up on the web sites, and even go back to see how they voted or what they have stated from before they were candidates.

Thank you for your input. You sound like a very wise and knowledgeable man.

          • vicki

Our representatives FIRST duty is to honor their oath and limit what they do to the powers delegated to them by the Constitution in spite of what a majority wants. We do NOT live in a democracy nor would you want to. We live in a Constitutionally LIMITED Republic. This short video explains more:

Vindication is sweet, but uninterrupted freedom would have been sweeter.

The good news it that people are seeing with their own eyes the threat of BIG GOVERNMENT. There are now more people moving to the right (they might not even know it, they are just shaken by things that are happening and want to move away from those things). Complacency and discouragement by Tea Partiers is being replaced by the good ole’ Yankee Spirit.

The liberals usually move slowly left, but Pres Obama has been an agent of change that has produced an enormous PARADIGM SHIFT. It wasn’t gradual enough to hide what he was doing (usually the change is more like the frog placed in the water that is slowly being brought to a boil). People are able to see the new gestalt and it has scared them. The liberal left was cocky and slipped up. They have woken the sleeping giant.
Having done all to do to stand, stand therefore!!!

    • Greg Murphy

I hope you are right. Unfortunately, I do not believe the average American voter is well enough informed to make rational decisions when voting, and will continue to vote for the most caring candidate, even if that feigned concern is phony. This has been the case for over 150 years. I cannot imagine it will change any time soon. Getting worse as we speak.

  • Jana

A President is supposed to be President of ALL of the people. Sadly Obama is not a President of ALL of the people. He has his enemy list, and conservatives and mainly the TEA Party is on it. Also, on this enemy list is any right to work state.

It is a shame that the last two elections we didn’t really have MEN running that wanted to be President on the Republican side. Both of them gave the election to Obama. McCain quit campaigning for awhile, and actually Romney didn’t really want the job.

We all need to bombard our state legislatures and start demanding term limits for our Federal Congressmen/women, Senate and House in our own state. If nothing else it might wake up our Federal Congress. We also need to start using our computers to write our Congressmen/women and let them know unequivocally how we feel about all of this. We need to do it at least once a week.

    • Bachelor With Sense

Doesn’t that Pre-suppose that your Congress Critter actually cares about what YOU think?? They (Congress Critters) do NOT care WHAT you think!! They ONLY care about themselves!!

      • Jana

That is exactly why they need to know we want them to have these term limits because we aren’t happy with them. The only one I have seen recently is Ted Cruz. He has made Republicans and Democrats mad because he is acting for the people. He even needs term limits before it actually wears him down too.

    • Rick

Romney didn’t want the JOB??? Is that WHY he spent all of that money and he and his wife started CRYING when they found out he did not win? I know LDS people who would did not vote for him because in their words”He could not keep his story straight and he failed to devulge just WHAT his plan WAS!”

      • Jana

Before the voting was even begun I was hearing things from his family such as “Dad really doesn’t want this job” and even from his wife that she was worried that the stress was too much for him. I heard others say that they didn’t think he wanted this job and then when he started wimping out and looking weak yeah, I thought he really didn’t want this job.

    • Rocco

Unfortunately the qualities needed to run for the office of president are completely different from the ones needed to fulfill it. Sadly I do not see that changing.

    • Chief Boring

See my post above re term limits. The rules for Senators and Congressmen are established in the Constitution, and the states cannot arbitrarily change them. At one time, the State Legislators elected their Senators, but apparently what was good enough for the Founders didn’t suit us, so the Constitution was amended to provide for popular votes for the Senate. That doesn’t seem to have worked too well. Now, instead of working for the good of their State, Senators play to the crowds.

American music legend uncorks C-word on Obama

In an exclusive interview with WND, the ever-outspoken Charlie Daniels blasted the president’s “excuses.”

“If I had a drunk bus driver, for instance, and I told everybody,
‘Don’t tell me about that, I don’t want to know about it,’ and that way
if we get sued I can say, ‘I didn’t know it,’ basically that’s got to be
what’s happened,” Daniels said. “[But] when you hide behind plausible
deniability, that is not leadership. That is cowardice. You’re not
leading the country, you’re misleading the country.”

Daniels further charged the blame-shifting is “pervasive” throughout the Obama administration.

“Look at the so-called attorney general, who should have been held to
task a long time ago, for one thing, not prosecuting the Black Panthers
standing in front of the polling place,” Daniels said. “Then we have
Fast & Furious, then we have this thing in Benghazi, then we have
the IRS thing – it’s one thing after another. This administration is out
    of control!

“People have, with reason – regardless of whether they support the
presidential administration or not – lost any kind of trust,” Daniels
said. “If someone says something, you don’t know if it’s true, if they
mean it, if they don’t mean it. As far as what’s going on right now, we
    don’t have a leader.”

And don’t even think about defending Obama by pointing back to George W. Bush.

“Going back and saying what Bush or Reagan – or for that matter
George Washington – did is a total and complete waste of time,” Daniels
told WND. “It makes no difference what they did. This guy was supposed
to be in to fix the mistakes any president in front of him made, and
he’s not doing it. Making excuses for him is not going to help him. He
needs to be held to account, he needs to come clean. He needs to get
that IRS woman to go back in front of Congress and tell the truth.”

    • JeffH

      Jana, excellent!

FYI, back in the day, I had the good fortune to see CDB up close and personal. A friend of mine was pretty tight with Taz, CDB’s keyboard man, and I was able to meet him and Charlie Daniels on several occasions…we did party with Taz before a couple of concerts too, up in Reno and in SF.

      America, I believe in you

    • Rocco

I am sorry, but you are quoting Charlie Daniels? I am as likely to take political advice from him as I would the Dixie Chicks.

      • Jana

I actually agree. I generally don’t like to hear what any so called celebrity has to say about anything political as my take on them is they can’t even control their own lives let alone try to tell me how to run mine.
I just thought it was an interesting analogy then JeffH had an experience with him too. I got this from the WND website.

I will do better I promise. LOL

        Rick –

Clearly you are just another of the brainwashed, indoctrinated sheeple who get your ‘news’ and talking points from the mainstream media, which have been lying to us for 40+ years now. Let me take your points one at a time. Illegal war: you mean the war that Congress voted on and approved and was also sanctioned by the United Nations? That illegal war? Oh, and you have conveniently let slip from your tiny little mind the completely illegal war that Obozo started in Libya which was a treasonable offense? Forgot that one. did ya? As for the WMD’s, the mainstream media conveniently neglected to ever report that the Russians sent trucks to Irag so they could transport the WMD’s into Syria (verified and reported by the Israelis) BEFORE we invaded Iraq so that the WMD’s would be salvaged for future use (they are being used now by the Syrian government against its own people). Those WMD’s, sheeple? As for defense contracts and contractors, try checking on who Obozo’s biggest donors are and have been before you start calling names and slinging mud. All of big business has been supporting the Dumbocrats, big time, for decades. Try getting your facts straight before you make public comments and show yourself to be the dimwitted fool you are.

The very concept of a president using the IRS to target people expressing their constitutional right to party affiliation is reminiscent of Hitler. There are always two sides to a story.

Emerging Facts About Alaska State Trooper Mike Wooten

From Justin Quinn, Guide September 5, 2008

Facts are beginning to emerge indicating that the federal investigation into Sarah Palin’s alleged abuses of power may actually stem from an investigation into his conduct Alaska State Trooper Mike Wooten.

At issue is whether Palin used her office in an attempt to have Wooten — her former brother-in-law — fired from his job. Palin says she didn’t. Further complicating the debate is the allegations of a former commissioner Palin , who claims he was pressured by the governor to fire Wooten and when he wouldn’t, he says Palin fired him instead.
But the details are clearly much more complicated.

Palin has claimed all along that the facts of the case will bear her story out, and it appears they might. CNN is airing an interview with Wooten tonight that may cast considerable doubt on Palin’s alleged wrong-doing. Wooten, a four-time divorcee with an extensive record of questionable conduct, isn’t exactly the sympathetic character the Democrats and the media have been making him out to be.

The question, it appears, shouldn’t be, “Did Palin try to have him
fired?” but, “Why has this guy not been fired?”

Wooten has a history of reprimands as a trooper, along with a series of personal indiscretions as well. Perhaps the most heinous of these is the one Wooten has admitted to: electrocuting his 11-year-old step son with a taser, allegedly to teach him a lesson. He’s also been accused of drinking on the job (which he denies), killing a moose illegaly (which he also denies), and according to this story at threatening to kill Palin’s father — a retired
      elementary school teacher.

More is sure to come, so we’ll have to stay tuned, but in the meantime it’s easy to see why Palin was so eager for this investigation to unfold.

      • Bob666

And selling the state plane on eBay?

        • Jana

As you said,” Let me correct you only in that you will find multiple sides to every story and there are many here with Sara Palin. Unfortunately for Ms. Palin, few of those stories provide her a positive light.”***
Especially when you don’t want to find her in a positive light, and you obviously don’t.

She was fulfilling a campaign promise

          From the Washington Post:

One of the compelling anecdotes about Sarah Palin is that she auctioned off the Alaska governor’s jet on eBay after taking office — a swift move made by a reformer hoping to clean up the excesses of her

But in fact, the jet did not sell on eBay. It was sold to a
businessman from Valdez named Larry Reynolds, who paid $2.1 million for the jet, shy of the original $2.7 million purchase price, according to contemporaneous news reports, including a story in the New York Times.

Dan Spencer, the director of administrative services for Alaska’s Public Safety Department, said that the Republican speaker of the Alaska House, John L. Harris, brokered the deal. Reynolds made campaign
contributions to both Palin and Harris in 2006 and 2007.

What happened? It appears that, as promised during her bid for governor in 2006, Palin did try to sell the plane on eBay but that doing so was not as easy as it might have sounded. After putting it up to auction, there was one serious bid, in December 2006, and it fell through. Still, the Westwind II was sold about eight months later, achieving Palin’s goal of ridding the state of a luxury item.

I assure you that it is not that I don’t want to find her in a positive light, with Ms. Palin, there tends to be so little positive light.

“And the Plane, I sold it on eBay”, What is the difference between that little fib and the many that Obama has told? Let me guess, she is a Conservative Gun pushing Christian who leans on the hard right?

McCain is a man that I had high hopes for and wrote some really big checks to. With any other running mate, he had a shot. With Palin, I won a bet the he would lose by five percent. I won $25.00 to cover the $8K that I gave to the McCain for president campaign.

No Jana, there is nothing positive that one can say for her.

          • Jana

            Then open your eyes Bob!

          • Jana

She tried to sell the plane on ebay, but it didn’t work. As I said it was a campaign promise. It was an extravagance that they didn’t need.
The only reason I voted for McCain was because of Palin. McCain never had a shot. He was and is too much of a liberal. He is not respected much down here in the south. We don’t trust him.
McCain quit campaigning. Shut it down to go to Washington when the crisis hit. Obama said he wasn’t going to stop campaigning even during this time.

McCain wouldn’t let Palin campaign during this time either.
Nope, he lost it on purpose!

          • Bob666

            Well Jana,
Here in Florida, McCain got more votes than Romney did in spite of Palin. You are correct that McCain did himself no favors on how he dealt with that little Financial meltdown at the end of the second term of “W”.

But had he had another running mate, he would have lost my +/- 1%, not just over 5%.

As far as McCain not being conservative enough, I disagree with you on that as well. If you look at our society, there is a trend towards the Moderate/Mainstream. I have to chuckle when I hear people say that McCain was not conservative enough.

The bottom line is; Palin is tainted with way to much personal baggage and she is done in politics. she did go around saying that she sold the plane on eBay, I guess that little white lie is OK if she loves kids, guns and god?

          • Jana

            MSNBC Bob??? Really???
Not once in that piece did i hear her say she sold that plane on ebay. No wonder you hate her. They took snippets 5 words out of speeches and tried to crucify her with them. It’s your choice of course and you made it.

Yes, she loves kids, she is not afraid of guns, and she
            loves God.
It’s a wonder you aren’t mad at her for all of the clothes that the campaign bought her too, that by the way she gave back. She didn’t keep them, they weren’t hers.

          • Bob666

I can give you the same stuff from FOX, ABC, CBS, AP, WSJ and more if it would make the point easier to accept.

          • Jana

All right, do it. Are you sure your name is Bob? We fight more like brother and sister. LOL

          • Bob666

            moma did lave you!

        • Jana

And, by the way Bob, people can die from being tased and Trooper Wooten tased his 11 year old son. That is unconscionable and evil. You don’t do that to a child.

          • Bob666

            Yo Jana,

“Trooper Wooten tased his 11 year old son”

That only means that he could live in the south and fit in.

          • Jana

            Sure Bob

      • Bob666

Forgot about Husband Todd and the reassigned commissioner.

Pay very close attention to the Anchorage daily news-they have followed her for a long time. Let me correct you only in that you will find multiple sides to every story and there are many here with Sara Palin. Unfortunately for Ms. Palin, few of those stories provide her a positive light.

  • Rick

Wouldn’t be a HOOT if it turns out the IRS can PROVE they had reason to believe this” presumably untouchable organization” was CHEATING.Would certainly prove once again that, like McCain,Sara is engaging her mouth before all the facts are in one again.

Palin is so anti-Obama, I believe the black guy she shacked up with in college must have done her wrong .Or maybe she is just another one of those sheep we hear about that only listen and watch Faux news.

    • samurai

SSDD, eh Jopa? Care to site a source showing she shacked up with someone? No? I didn’t think so. Here is something showing how a member of Obama bin Laden’s administration lied about her money.
Seems the lies never stop with this administration. But alas! This is the way of the libs, progs, and people with no God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit in them. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! 하나님하고 나라를 위해서!
You need both love of country and faith in God to be a patriot. This leaves you out.

Some people are jealous of Sarah Palin in her knowledge of government, so therefore there are a lot of anger spewed from angered people at her.

To me she is brilliant and courageous person and I would love for Sarah to be the next president, so Mr. Obama could see what a president supposed to do. Work for the people.
Money can not be spread around unless you working for money. once basis wages go up, then our food, clothing and gas for house and cars, trucks that haul our food across usa costs more. That includes electric and water,
what a person to do with the government who is deliberately raising these products? We need someone in government that works for us, not against us.
We need to eliminate IRS department and go with a flat tax, where everyone
pays tax. Unless to cripple to work, a person needs a job to work at, to be able to draw Welfare.

  • Dave

You would think there would be better subjects to write about these days the the deficit is lower than expected or that CA, with tax incrases and budget cuts is out of the red ink, or that the health exchanges as part of Obamacare are lowering costs while increasing care in CA but then again, I keep forgetting where I am. The authors here refuse to write anything positive about Obama because it messes with the extremist narrative theaithors want to convey… Oh well… Enjoy losing national elections conservatives… Like Bob Dole alluded to theother day, you brought it on yourselves.

    • Wambli525

As a Chicago area resident I know more about “0” than you.
You have no idea the shenanigans he engaged in rising to the Illinois senate seat because the corrupt press did not report any of that information. As you must know, the press protects Obama awhile they intentionally attacked Bush. The same Obama U see in the White House is the same Obama that sat in the Illinois senate. Obama LIES and his own minister Wright has even said so. Your deficit decrease is nonsense. Obama has spent more money than all previous presidents combined. Do you understand the implication of that number???? Health care cost will rise because of the additional hidden taxes you will pay and Obamacare will eventually wipe out private insurers and we will all be stuck with socialized medicine. Further, Obama is a self-admitted racist … by his own words and i paraphrase: “He will stand with muslims should the need arise” You so full of yourself and democrat propaganda that you cannot see the damage this president and his democrat minions ( Pelosi and Reed) have done to yourself and the rest of us. Obama must be investigated and if he indeed participated in the IRS Scandal, as did Nixon, he must then face IMPEACHMENT proceedings. Start thinking like an American instead of a partisan democrat. America, the Constitution and our freedoms demand no less.
