Multiple Victims, ‘Active Shooter’ At Reno Medical Center
RENO, Nev., Dec. 17 (UPI) — Multiple people were wounded Tuesday at a hospital in Reno, Nev., and firefighters were dealing with an “active shooter,” authorities said.
The first call about the shooting at Renown Regional Medical Center at Kuenzli and Manuel streets came in about 2:15 p.m., KTVN-TV, Reno, reported.
A city spokesperson told the TV station multiple victims had been wounded.
University of Nevada, Reno, Chief of Police Keith Garcia told CNN the shooter was on the third floor of the medical campus, and the center was being evacuated.
