“Marco Rubio Is No Conservative” because he doesn’t support the birther theories? I’m afraid your penchant for headlines that misrepresent the facts is in operation again, Mr. Livingston.

First it was Your August 23rd headline, “ Sen. Rubio Lies About Obama ID Fraud – 6/3/2013” (

It was clearly shown in that video that Rubio was rendering an opinion on the birther question, NOT lying about it. There’s a BIG difference in law and in English grammar.

Then it was your reference to the the Minor v. Happersett SCOTUS case that had nothing to do with defining “natural born” with reference to presidential qualifications, and has NEVER been viewed as Constitutional precedent regarding such qualifications.

Now you insult every Conservative by redefining what it means to be a Conservative. Nowhere in the books of Conservative ideology does it state that one must be a birther to qualify as a Conservative.

There can be no doubt that I am a Conservative. I have no opinion either way on the birth certificate distraction because, as a basis for impeachment it’s doomed to fail. Moreover, Rubio is 100% correct that there are issues of much greater importance that need to be addressed instead of obsessing about an issue that is irrelevant under US immigration law.

The Immigration and Nationality Act, or INA, was created in 1952:

“To become a citizen at birth, you must:

Have been born in the United States or certain territories or outlying
possessions of the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction of the United
    States; OR

had a parent or parents who were citizens at the time of your birth (if you
were born abroad) and meet other requirements”

As Tristram Shandy said, “Heat is in proportion to the want of true knowledge.”

    Case closed.

      Yo Vigilant,
Did we not have this conversation in the last few days????

      • Vigilant

Yes we did. And in all cases referenced I have yet to see any defense by Mr. Livingston.

Applying the “Qui tacet consentire videtur” (silence implies consent) principle, I can only guess that he’s changed his mind in the face of the facts I’ve presented.

        • Bob666

Well, If you look a the facts-without an agenda, the facts are evident and that said, I agree with you.

It just amazes me how detached people can be from the facts and reality, but them I come to this site and see many who look at life as they want to see it-not how it actually exist..

those are the ones who will be complaining in 2016 when their candidate loses and election.
