Fast Foods Cause Asthma, Other Diseases

March 5, 2013 by

The diet of many Americans consists mostly of processed and fast foods. These are foods that are mass produced and devoid of nutrition.

Processed and fast foods are loaded with chemical additives and preservatives. The meat — which is taken from animals medicated with synthetic growth hormones and antibiotics and grown in unhealthy and unnatural conditions — is often more meat by-products and fillers than real meat. The “beef” version of these meat by-products is often what the U.S. Department of Agriculture has come to term “pink slime,” which is beef trimmings and fat treated with ammonia.

A diet of processed and fast foods is highly acidic and creates a condition called acidosis. Acidosis in the body (except in the stomach, which should be highly acidic) is a cause of disease unrecognized by medical people. Symptoms of acidosis may take the form of chronic degenerative disease, which may include cancer, diabetes, arthritis, emphysema, arteriosclerosis or heart disease.

In addition to causing obesity and myriad other chronic deginerative diseases, fast foods cause a number of other health issues, according to the journal THORAX. These include asthma, rhinoconjunctivitis and eczema.

Processed and fast foods should be avoided like the plague. They are a plague on the health of Americans.

Not meaning to complain, but have noticed over the years certain “reactions” to eating certain foods, such as processed meats and MSG. From depression to hot feet, I’ve made notes over the years. With a question mark after my suspicions. Then later confirmed my discovery. Love those roast beef sandwiches. They swell me like a toad and make me depressed. Then later at bedtime my feet start burning like they are on fire, most especially the left foot. Same thing happens when I eat Chinese foods, regretably yummy.
I swear that stuff also causes my back to ache, my hips as well.Hope this enlightens some one,and is helpful.

I swear, personal liberty is getting to be like the National Enquierer. Everything is bad for you. Well, at 70 years old I’m not going to worry. I’ve eaten these things for years, what they call junk food, and ya know what? None of this B___ Cr__ has ever happened or affected me or any of my friends. Lost a lot of sleep because of scheduals, and things I had to keep. Ate lot of junk food and drank a lot of coffee over the years, and I just don’t believe a lot of it. There’s just too much BS out there trying to scare us into doing things that are supposed to good for us. Well what is good for me is to ignore all the clap trap and go my merry way and not be a hypocondriac like some folk are. About 50% of the sick people in this country just think they are because of all the hype the read and hear about, but aren’t really sick. My main problem is my osteoarthritis which didn’t come from eating too much junk food. People were better off, and healthier back when I was in school because we didn’t have a bunch of nannys telling us what was good, and what wasn’t good for us to eat. Figure it out for yourself and stop worring about it. Don’t let someone else tell you what to do, eat, when to sleep, when to, or how much to walk or run. Think for yourself and you will be all the healthier for it. And happier too.

      Dear USAF VET,

You write: “I swear, personal liberty is getting to be like the National Enquierer. Everything is bad for you.” Not “everything” is bad for you. A whole food diet of fresh, mostly raw organically-grown vegetables and fruites and free-range organically grown meats in small quantities are very good for you and what your body craves.

You write: “My main problem is my osteoarthritis which didn’t come from eating too much junk food.” It may come from low levels of Vitamin D3. Has your physician checked you for this?

      Best wishes,
      Bob
