According to the President, his approval ratings are low because “some folks (read: conservatives)… don’t like the idea of a black President.” Jumping on the conservative-bashing bandwagon, the Governor of New York said “they have no place in the state of New York.”
President Barack Obama’s approval rating has fallen badly in the national polls. His ratings are historically low: the second lowest in modern history at this point of a Presidency. Here come the excuses. Obama desperately wants us to believe it’s all because he’s black.
On Jan. 1, Colorado legalized the sale of recreational marijuana. In 2012, Washington State legalized marijuana; the State will begin permitting pot shops this spring. Alaska may vote on a marijuana ballot measure in August, while advocates are working for legalized pot in Oregon, Arizona and Massachusetts.
The people of the Mexican state Michoacan, fed up with the fear and subjugation of the cartels and the inaction of the government, have taken a page from the American Revolution, organizing citizen militias that have now driven cartels from the region almost entirely.
The CDC and the FDA are nothing more than taxpayer-funded marketing arms for the medical-industrial complex. They are used to provide government-sanctioned legitimacy to a host of fake “diseases” created in labs along with their cures: expensive pharmaceuticals and tests for diagnosis.
For more than 200 years, the United States led the world in economic freedom. For many of those years, we were also the most prosperous Nation in the world, as we demonstrated that economic abundance was one of the happy consequences of economic freedom. Now, many other nations are confirming the same thing.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, like President Barack Obama, is a bully. He uses the force of government to try to intimidate and damage his political opponents. He uses government to scare people into silence. He uses government for political retribution.
What kind of leader spies on the people he is sworn to serve? What kind of President does this after he has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution? What kind of Americans are we to have accepted it? It is as if we are suffering from battered wife syndrome.
Our Nation, our culture and most of the world have become so backward, ugly, feeble and twisted that the only adequate comparison is to the nightmares of surrealists. Recent legislation, the exposure of classified documents and the openly admitted criminality of political leadership call to mind Franz Kafka’s The Trial.
No group knows better how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory than the Republican establishment. But this election cycle it seems they want to establish their losing strategy early so as to avoid any late-season drama.
