Cashless As Of Tomorrow?

Dear Bob,

I read via “Human Events” e-letter yesterday that on 4/30/13 the Fed will proclaim that the US is now a CASHLESS SOCIETY. Can you comment on the truth of this and what the affects will be on Cash on Hand, people’s investment choices, etc.? Thank you.

Linda S.

Dear Linda S.,

Almost anything can be expected now, but I doubt that it will happen this soon. I believe that the system might implode by then.

Best wishes,

How funny after all, no comments? Maybe because all were scared away by the fact that they could not be honest?!

I am thinking the dollar will collapse in order for that to happen. Many countries have begun hoarding gold and are dumping the US dollar as the global tender and making deals w/ trading partners to accept each others currency. China and Russia already trade in this manner. Australia is in the process entering a similar agreement w/ China. Most people don’t know this but the main reason we are clashing w/ Iran isn’t nukes they had established an oil trading exchange where countries could use their own currency bypassing the “petrodollar” if it were allowed to operate the dollar would go into a death spiral. Funny thing about fiat currencies, historically, they always ends up w/ financial collapse and/or war.

I don’t believe the monetary system will collapse in the next week. Our federal government will do as it always has and cover up the problem until it overwhelms their ability to cover it up. The trillions Obama has spent have doubled the cost of groceries but everything else is about the same because with 100 million working age Americans out of work there is little demand for consumer products. The system will collapse when the excess money goes full circle and the cost of procurements and wages for the federal government double then double again, etc. No one I have talked to in the last 6 months believes the jeopardy Obama has put the country into will end well. Obama is printing 46% of the budget and receipts are paying only 54% presently. Before this year ends Obama will be printing over 50% of the federal expenditures. In understandable numbers Obama is printing and spending $200 for each and every person in the country to keep the economy afloat. this will only increase. On top of that Bernanke is putting 85 billion dollars each month into the banking system to keep it from collapsing because those 100 million who are out of work are drawing their banks accounts down to live. To prop up the banks fractional reserve banking (30 to 1) it is presently taking 85 billion each month and will only increase. I believe the federal government will continue this destructive program until they feel they can control the millions of citizens who will go after them. As Gerald Celente said “When people lose everything, they lose it”. To control the people they need to pick up all the firearms and limit the mobility of the citizens. They will never pick up all the firearms and Americans will resist confinement to any area. Those of us who know how to work and earn money will survive, those who stick their hands out and expect everything will be given to them, will be history. I think it is time he abandoned his plans for a SCUM (Socialist/Communist/Utopian/Metrosexual) form of government because we are already too bankrupt to afford anything but the limited federal government that is authorized by the Constitution of the United States. The founding father were right again in that they knew a large and overbearing federal government was not in the interest of the nation and the nation cannot afford it.
