George Zimmerman, charged with second-degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla., was granted a bond of $150,000 by Judge Kenneth Lester Jr.

The prosecution argued that Zimmerman is a threat to the community and asked that the judge deny the request or set the amount at $1 million. But Lester did not do so.

Zimmerman will be monitored with a GPS system and must report his whereabouts every three days. He will not allowed to be in possession of firearms.
