White House Down

Hello. I’m Wayne Allyn Root for Personal Liberty. Have you seen the movies “White House Down” or “Olympus Has Fallen”? These movies are about terrorists taking over the White House and kidnapping the President. But Barack Obama proves you don’t need Russia or China or North Korea or radical Muslim terrorists to take down the White House and destroy the Presidency. Obama is doing it all by himself.

At Columbia University (class of ’83), my fellow classmates admitted they hated America, hated “the rich” and despised Judeo-Christian values. We spent our days discussing and debating their plan to destroy capitalism and radically change America from within by electing one of their own to the Presidency. Once elected, the plan was to overwhelm the system with spending, taxes, entitlements and debt. Capitalism would topple, business owners would lose everything and Americans would be brought to their knees, begging for government to save them. In that way America would become a socialist Nation.

Obama was one of my Columbia classmates, and it is clear now this is the very plan he’s implementing. With economic and moral carnage from coast to coast and now throughout the Mideast, it is clear the White House is down and Olympus has fallen — from within.

Just look at the facts:

In Egypt, 70 churches have been burned and many Christians killed by the Muslim Brotherhood, yet Obama says nothing. As a matter of fact, Obama’s White House spokesman made a joke about the killing of Christians in Egypt.

While the murder of Christians does not pass any “red line,” Obama is mortified when radical Muslims murder other radical Muslims in Syria. That passes Obama’s “red line” and triggers a desperate desire for America to go to war, spend billions of dollars we don’t have, risk the lives of our children to defend our sworn enemy, al-Qaida and risk starting World War III.

Unimaginable. Until Obama came along.

When George Zimmerman was found innocent of the death of Trayvon Martin, Obama quickly weighed in. Yet our President says nothing about the black-on-black genocide in the streets of Chicago (his hometown) or about the out-of-control black-on-white crime wave happening across America. Just recently, a white Australian baseball player was murdered by black youths in Oklahoma; a white 88-year-old World War II veteran was murdered by black youths in Spokane, Wash.; a 1-year-old baby was shot and killed in his stroller during a mugging by black youths in Georgia; and 12 black youths participated in a brutal gang rape in a Wilmington, Del., park. I’m waiting for Obama to call a press conference and say: “These two women gang raped by black youths in that park could have been my daughters. This violence by black youths must stop.” I fear I’ll be waiting for… eternity.

After all, this is the same President whose Equal Employment Opportunity Commission recently ruled that it is racist for employers to conduct criminal background checks on black job applicants because they might find out the applicant is a criminal. But the EEOC says it’s fine to do criminal background checks for white job applicants.

Unimaginable. Until Obama came along.

Under Obama, our Nation is so broke we no longer have the money for White House tours or to properly staff air traffic controller towers or to keep open our Top Gun training for Navy fighter pilots or to keep illegal immigrant felons behind bars or to keep pools open for military families. We even canceled fireworks displays at military bases. We’re that broke as a Nation.

Yet somehow we have tens of millions of dollars so our President can vacation in Hawaii and Martha’s Vineyard and go on countless golf outings. We somehow have $100 million for him and his family to take a trip to Africa, where he pledged $7 billion of our money to provide electricity for the citizens of Africa. Where did that $7 billion come from? And what about the millions of dollars for the Internal Revenue Service to spend on lavish conferences and the billions of dollars Obama is giving the Palestinians and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Oh, and don’t forget the money Obama has spent to arm al-Qaida and Hezbollah rebels in Libya and Syria, who will later use these same weapons to kill us. Actually, they already have. (See Benghazi.) They raped and murdered our own ambassador while using our weapons. Now Obama wants us to fight on their side in Syria.

Unimaginable. Until Obama came along.

Amazingly, while he arms Muslim rebels, our President wants to disarm American citizens. Funny, huh? But even that pales next to the shocking militarization of our own government agencies. Under Obama, the Agriculture Department and the Department of Education now have militarized SWAT teams. Homeland Security just bought 1.6 billion rounds of hollow point bullets — enough to fight 30 years’ of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Does Obama fear his own citizens?

Unimaginable. Until Obama came along.

In California, Democrats have proposed a bill to allow illegal aliens to serve on juries. Obama spends millions of our taxpayer dollars for advertising in Mexico telling illegal aliens in America they are eligible for food stamps. Billions of dollars in welfare payments are given to illegal aliens, disguised as “earned tax credits” — even though they pay no taxes in the first place. Our government pays commissions to “recruiters” to inform Americans it is their “patriotic duty” to sign up for food stamps.

Unimaginable. Until Obama came along.

Obama hands out free “Obamaphones.” The catch is they are all bugged. Big Brother listens to your every word.

Unimaginable. Until Obama came along.

And then there’s Obamacare. It’s such a train wreck even Obama’s most loyal supporters — unions — want no part of it. The head of the IRS testified he wants no part of it. Even the company Obama hired to promote Obamacare relies on part-time workers with no health benefits. Fast-food restaurants are partnering to share part-time workers, so no one falls under Obamacare. Obamacare guarantees there are no full-time high-paying jobs in America anymore. Economic disaster looms.

Unimaginable. Until Obama came along.

None of this should come as a surprise. Remember Democratic delegates booed God three times at Obama’s Presidential convention. And only days ago in Iowa, a Democratic activist opened a meeting with prayer, thanking God for the “blessing” of abortion. You can’t make this stuff up.

Yes, my fellow Americans, the White House is down, Olympus has fallen and America is being destroyed from within. Who needs terrorists? Obama’s plan is so much more efficient.

wow, wow all of this is crazy!

    • cuning

No its not crazy, what is crazy is the American people letting this all happen, when you wake up it will be to late.

      • nc

Cuning, what I have seen “actually” happen is the country stop losing 600,000 jobs a month< In stead of losing jobs per month we are adding jobs per month, instead of housing values continuing to drop they are actually gaining, instead of the numbers killed in combat growing, they are declining!
Those are the things that have actually happened!!
The things that I have ACTUALLY seen predicted here that DIDN'T happen are canceled elections, Obama declaring himself a dictator, the country collapsing during Obamas first term and him never winning a second term! FEMA CAMPS, GUNS BEING CONFISCATED, CONSPIRACIES AND FALSE FLAGS GALORE! AND I COULD GO ON BUT YOU PEOPLE HAVE READ THEM ALSO!
Cuning, you haven't been paying attention! Your fellow wackos are saying it is already too late and they are going to take their guns and go to the streets to (regain their rights(?)! Me thinks they are blowing smoke up each others butts!!
You go first! No, you go first! No, you go first. I have to mow the grass!

        • Larry

But for the fact the Fed is adding 85 Billion dollars a month in to the economy we ALL would be signing a different tune, so nc as an Obama fan and head cheerleader ….. get a dose of reality!

          • Bill

            Good comment Larry,
The federal government brings in 180 billion dollars a month and spends over 300 billion a month.

It’s been almost 6 years of Obama now, NutCase, and still the unemployment rate is 50% higher than it was on average between 1997 and 2007 (7.4% vs. 5%)

          • Dave

selective use of statitics eh corporatist DaveH?
Where was the unemployment rate heading at the end of the Bush disaster?
But lying and manipulation are your forte DaveH

          • TheOriginalDaveH

Duh, Bush is no longer president, Shill Dave. But I didn’t like him either. I guess if you were on his team, you’d blame it on Clinton.

          • Dave

Duh but you misuse statitics to cover up for what happened on your hero George W Bush’s watch… why is that?
            Duh….

          • smilee

The rate is one thing, but losing jobs every month was far worse than gaining jobs every month which we have done since fairly early in 2009 so the rate does not tell the whole story only how many are unemployed but says nothing about the trend being positive and turned around since 2007 to 2009 when we were losing jobs so you distort the reality of what is going on and you had to add the years 1997 to 2006 to bring the rate down when we were not in a deep recession the worst since the thirties.

And now this! little has been said about this by the Obama media, in the last four years he has allowed 80 thousand islamics from Syria and other Islamic countries to come to the US on his Temp amnasty program, they get money, drivers licences and a special temp (get out of jail) amnasty card. That lunatic Napolitano head of his HLS was addressing university students in NY saying, their amnasty in only temp for two years, they were to check in so we know their whereabouts, none of them ever did? she said we have no way of tracking them down, or know there names or who they are affiliated with because we have no data base on them????
Obama has done more damage to this country than Osama bin laden could ever think of in his wildest dream, anyone notice all the muslims he is hiring at the white house? he is the master of bait and switch, gets your vote then switches, looks us all in the eyes and lies through his teeth, and the crying liberal democrats love him for it. Our State democratic representatives no longer represent people of there home State, they now represent Obama.

“80 thousand islamics from Syria and other Islamic countries to come to the US on his Temp amnasty program, they get money, drivers licences and a special temp (get out of jail) amnasty card. ”

How about that 20-30 million illegal immigrants’ sucking up the entitlements?

      Joe and Jose

HYPOTHETICAL, BUT PROBABLY PRETTY ACCURATE FIGURES.

      JOE & JOSE

You have two families: “Joe Legal” and “Jose
Illegal”. Both families have two parents, two children, and live in
      California…or Texas….or…Arizona ….or…

Joe Legal works in construction, has a Social Security Number and
makes $25.00 per hour with taxes deducted. Jose Illegal also works in
construction, has NO Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash
      “under the table”.

      Ready? Now pay close attention….

Joe Legal: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or
$52,000.00 per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax; Joe
      Legal now has $31,231.00.

Jose Illegal: $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or
$31,200.00 per year. Jose Illegal pays no taxes. Jose Illegal now has
      $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage
for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Joe Legal now has
      $24,031.00.

Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the
state and local clinics and emergency hospitals at a cost of $0 per year.
      Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal makes too much money to be eligible for food stamps or
welfare. Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year. Joe
      Legal now has $18,031.00.

Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food
stamps, WIC and welfare. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per
year. Joe Legal now has $9,631.00. Jose Illegal receives a
$500.00 per month Federal Rent Subsidy. Jose Illegal still has $ 31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400.00 for car
insurance. Some of that is uninsured motorist insurance. Joe Legal
now has $7,231.00. Jose Illegal says, “We don’t need no stinkin’
      insurance!” and still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities,
gasoline, etc…Jose Illegal has to make his $31,200.00 stretch to pay utilities,
gasoline, and what he sends out of the country every month..

Joe Legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job
after work to make ends meet. Jose Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy
      with his family.

Joe Legal’s and Jose Illegal’s children both attend the same
elementary school. Joe Legal pays for his children’s lunches, while Jose
Illegal’s children get a free, government sponsored lunch.

Jose Illegal’s children have a free after school ESL program. Joe
Legal’s children go home to an empty house. Now, when they reach college age,
Joe Legal’s kids may not get into a State School and may not qualify for
scholarships, grants or other tuition help, even though Joe has been paying for
State Schools through his taxes, while Jose Illegal’s kids “go to the head
of the class” because they are a minority.

Joe Legal and Jose Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services,
but Joe paid for them and Jose did not pay anything.

      Do you get it, now?

If you vote for or support any politician that supports illegal
aliens…you are part of the problem!

We need to keep this going–we need to make changes ASAP!

It’s way PAST time to take a stand for America and Americans!

      Laus DeoSemper FI

You mean those illegals picking your food, building your house, manicuring your lawns serving you at hotels at substandard wages and benefits?
So when these people are kicked out like you want, you are volunteering to pick fruit in Yuma? Slaughter cattle in Kansas or manicure my landscaping FF?
The problem with you is, you like the lower prices on things but if these people dare to use our facilities as we pay them slave wages… that is just too much isn’t it?

Bill, you are eliminating free will when the illegal invaders make their choice to invade and then use and abuse the people of this country. Not to worry, Shill Dave. In a few more years you Liberal Progressives will have built our Government as large as theirs, and when our economy sucks like theirs, as a result, they won’t want to come here anymore.
          http://www.heritage.org/index/country/unitedstates
“Registering a loss of economic freedom for the fifth consecutive year, the U.S. has recorded its lowest Index score since 2000. Dynamic entrepreneurial growth is stifled by ever-more-bloated government and a trend toward cronyism that erodes the rule of law”.
          http://www.heritage.org/index/country/mexico
“Mexico’s economic freedom score is 67.0, making its economy the 50th freest in the 2013 Index. Its score is 1.7 points better than last year, reflecting notable improvements in investment freedom, trade freedom, and monetary freedom. Mexico is ranked 3rd out of three countries in the North America region, but its score is well above the world average”.

Studies show we will need tens of thousands more Jose Illegal type laborers in the years to come even if we don’t send those “illegals” who are all ready here back to their native countries!

I thought it could not be proven that Obama was your classmate at Columbia, yet you state, “Obama was my classmate.”

    • Don 2

      So says Columbia University…..

  • KG

The most interesting part of this political screed that WAR has spewed out is the fact that he now admits that our president, Mr Obama was at Colombia.

    Strike one.
The fact that millions of Americans are on food stamps testifies to the efficacy of federal programs designed to help Americans through times of crisis. Ask anyone of those people if they would give them up and starve just for someones sense of false pride. If wages were to actually follow inflation, maybe so many people wouldn’t need them.
    Strike two.
The Muslim Brotherhood, while we see them as the enemy now, were our Allies against global Communism. The MB are so conservative that they hate labor unions almost as much as Republicans. The Suez canal is heavily unionized and the MB has been trying to muscle in to control that vital part of Egypt’s economy. However, organized labor participated in the Revolution that help topple a fascist tyrant. Rather than share power with their sworn enemies, the MB started to kill the union workers – who happen to be mostly Coptic Christian!
    Strike three.
The so-called ‘obamacare’ is in trouble only because of the feet-dragging and sandbagging that the Republicans have been doing to it since it was initiated. When Hillary Clinton testified before congress in 1992-93, she predicted the crisis of expense of our medical system as it stands now. Rather than take action then when the problem was in the Millions of dollars, the doctors in the congress had to keep their income flow to pay for their re-election campaigns (Dr Ron Paul).
Wayne, it’s the selfish, sunshine patriots like yourself who want the White house so bad, they are willing to destroy it. Like in Vietnam, “…we had to destroy the village to save it.”

    • Don 2

So KG, when the 40,000 member Longshore union parted ways with the AFL-CIO this past Labor Day because the Longshore union was upset with Trumpka and the AFL-CIO’s support for Obamacare, which in turn made the union’s Cadillac plans much more expensive and thereby screwed the union members, that was somehow the result of Republican foot-dragging?

      • KG

How can I emphasize the magnitude of your lies? LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE!

It’s really deeper than the gloss excuse you present. Which also shows you utter ignorance of Unions.

There is a local jurisdictional dispute between some other Locals. It seems to be a case of job cannibalism. Which happens when work gets tight.

But the reality is that the ‘protest’ against Obamacare is that they think the President didn’t go far enough. They are complaining about the suggested lack of action on the Presidents part to fight for more action, not that they dislike the presidents healthcare plan.

        http://seattletimes.com/html/localnews/2021731021_longshoreunionxml.html

Pleas research your claims before showing your ignorance on such subjects.

          KG,

Thank you for posting the Seattle Times article which states the following:

Moreover, McEllrath’s letter states that the ILWU has become frustrated with the AFL-CIO’s “overly compromising” policy positions on immigration, labor-law reform, HEALTH-CARE REFORM, and international labor issues. “We feel the Federation has done a great disservice to the labor movement and all working people by “going along to get along.”

Wayne did indeed say that — “Obama was one of my Columbia classmates”.
What? I’m disappointed in you, Wayne.

Admitting that you hate O in the presence of Dems/Progs/Leftists is dangerous to your health but you feel safe saying it in the presence of Conservatives and Libertarians.

The people to watch at this juncture are the ones who are voting for war in the middle east. The Commander-in-Chief is laying the decision on the congress
and hoping that the blame will be placed ultimately on you, the American public.
Check to see how many incumbents are voting for it and how many indentured are. This is partially a lobbyist check. We can tell at an instant who is on the take and who is being cautious. The military industrial complex is just about the only manufacturing left in the US and they need more business to help the economy. The media is busy trying to stir up patriotism and getting as much support for this war through any scheme they can find and doing all they can to block protests and dissent from the public eye. It seems Mr. Root wants to give the president all the credit for any negative outcome and hoping no one notices the likes of those (eg McCain) who are staunch NEOCONS for military action. Personally, I do not like the way this charade is playing out from either side of the aisle. The lobbyists are winning and we the people are losing everything.

      Hi Dan,
It is all about natural gas. Assad has sided with the Russians to monopolize the natural gas in Europe. And the Saudis are financing the rebels so they can also sell natural gas to Europe.
Why don’t we just sell our natural gas to Europe also instead of going to war. It would create jobs.
But then again, that would be too easy

If your child swallows a pea size ball of toothpaste the warning on the tube tells you to go to doctor and call poison control and yet they are drinking and bathing in it.

You are being medicated without your permission with a medication that was used by the Naxis to keep the imprisoned Jews docile. Haven’t you ever why, when they knew they where going to die more of them did not try to escape. Most people would have thought that if they were going to die anyway they might as well die trying to escape but they didn’t. After you read the links I have posted here I think you will have a better understanding of why they didn’t.

Do you remember when Glenn Beck talked about the czar putting medication in our water to control many different things. Well, if you read these links you will see that this is being done and has been done for years.

Fluoride is what is affecting the brain and the scientists have been warning Congress and Senate for years.

They have told them of all the health problems and brain disorders and that it is not needed as it is in your toothpaste and your dentist treats you. Your dentist tells you to spit it out and the label on your toothpaste has a warning telling you not to swallow it, why. They are warning mothers not to use fluoride treated water in formula but what about nursing mothers who use it. You don’t even need to drink it for the effects because your body absorbs it every time you take a bath.

If you have more doubts think about this. The number of our pets getting bone cancer and other cancers is continously rising and the number one element pets and people have in common is water.

The Truth About Fluoride and Drinking Water

    http://www.vernoncoleman.com/thetruthaboutflouride.htm

    10 Facts about Fluoride

    • Karolyn

Fortunately, I have had well water for many years years and have not used fluoride toothpaste for about 12.

      • Bill

        Hi Karolyn,
Did you check out the book, “Chose Yourself” by James Altucher?
I have a well also and I like my well water

      • independent thinker

Just because you have well water does not mean there isn’t fluoride in it. Some well water naturally has fluoride and that is the excuse used by the government to fluoridate all drinking water. I am not sure if the natural fluoride is the same as what is put in the drinking water though.

        • Bill

          Inde,
A good well test for water quality is the Title 22 water quality test. It identifies all of the inorganic minerals in the water. I have been involved with hundreds of well tests and fluorides are identified on the title 22 as a known health hazard. It is the direct cause of animals miscarrying. Most all horse breeders will test for fluorides from the start.
That is good advice, Inde. And Karolyn, you should have your well tested. Just go to your local pump company to have that done. They will also know which minerals that are a health hazard are prevalent to your area.
Whenever someone says to me that they have sweet tasting well water, that is a sign that they are high in Arsenic

          • independent thinker

Bill just for clarification I am not approving fluoride only noting it is present in some well water naturally.

          • Bill

            Inde,
I did not mean to imply that you were. I thought it was a good point you made that fluorides are a natural occurring element in well water.
I was just trying to expand on that advice and tell people how to test their wells

Do you have any idea how utterly stupid you and fellow whackos are going to look in 2016 when Obama hands over the reigns to the Next President and the Ship of State sails on just as it has since the 1770s! Still America Strong! Still NUMBER ONE!
I have asked several whack jobs here who adhere to your belief that Obama has made this country weak and bad to name 5 other countries that are “greater” and TO SAY why they are greater! NOT ONE HAS EVER RESPONDED TO MY REQUEST! WOULD YOU CARE TO GIVE IT A TRY!

Why do you whackos have such a problem with answering these questions?? Is it because you know people other than your fellow whackos are reading and judging your posts?? Is it because, deep down, you know it is not as bad as you would like everyone to think it is so Obama would look bad?? is it because Mr. Bob has told you not to answer because he has never answered it either!

        • TheOriginalDaveH

In fact, NutCase, there are countries who beat the US in any specific category which you might state. But for arguments sake, let’s say that there weren’t any.
So if every other country is worse than the US, then NutCase’s Liberal logic dictates that we don’t work for improvement?
Liberal Progressives are the only people I know who purposely seek to sink to the lowest common denominator. And that is exactly why Socialism fails. People like NutCase wouldn’t say “Look how hard Joe works, I want to be just like him”. But they commonly will say things like “Look at that Slacker Mark, why should I work hard when he doesn’t?”.

          • NC

Aboriginal, any type of government program that keeps the dead and dying from our streets , especially the old and the children, is “bad socialism” because it lessens the government’s ability to aid the business people who don’ t really need the help if they are good at their trade!
“Working for improvement” is not a conservative concept ! We didn’t advance by stopping at “the horse and buggy” stage! We ADVANCED BY moved “progressively” to the next stage and then to the next! Government funded research in areas where business did not want to spend it’s money! Government schools that trained the workers! Government investments in better roads! It would have been much more conservative and cheaper JUST to stay with dirt roads!
THAT’S WHAT GOT US TO NUMBER ONE! WE DID BUILD THAT! NOT THE PIPE DREAM OF A VON MISES UTOPIA!

NutCase, the ultimate fruition of that Socialism you crave is, and always has been, poverty for the citizens. So don’t give us your crap about the “dead and dying”.
Your Socialist Pipe Dream has been proven a failure throughout history. The only way Socialists can exist is by riding on the productive shoulders of Capitalists.
Those people, who doubt that, can look at the economies of the least economically free countries in this ranking and see how they compare to the most economically free countries:
            http://www.heritage.org/index/ranking

          • KG

Abbinormal, the ultimate fruition of Capitalists is the monopolization of all industries and services under a few powerful corporations. Like America was before the Great Upheaval of 1877. That’s when the People of America stood up and said “We, the People are in charge – not the robber barons or so-called “captains” of industry.

Von Misies ‘Austrian School” has already been tried and it failed! The Federal Reserve was created to help unbridled Capitalism from failing every few years like it did before 1900.

          • TheOriginalDaveH

No, KGB, that is the ultimate fruition of the Big Government which you Socialists have enabled. Leaders are always inclined to feather their own nests, and ignorant Socialist Followers enable them to do that.
Robber Barons? You’re an anachronism, KGB. That myth has been exposed soundly:
            http://mises.org/daily/2317

          • KG

Have you ever actually read ‘Leviathan’ by Thomas Hobbs? I’ll make it easy for you. Nature gives man a natural state of fear, chaos, and death. This bad state of affairs justifies giving up a share of our ultimate liberty to a power greater than ourselves, namely Government. Can you defend yourself at all times? What about when you sleep? That’s the reason for Government. And what better than a government ‘..of, by, and for the People…’ which all Americans strive towards.

Von Misies is a myth like German Aryans were. BTW, Mr Misies methods would have fit perfectly in a Nazi society. Too bad they would have killed him anyway.

          • TheOriginalDaveH

Government can’t protect me from people who want to kill me, KGB. They only show up after the fact to take notes.
Pass that crack pipe this way.

The Nazis were Socialists, KGB, like yourself.

            http://www.oldamericancentury.org/whitepapers/defining/leftwing_or_rightwing.htm

The Nazis were pro-Christian, anti-communist, certainly anti-Marxist, imprisoned atheist and labor leaders–that sounds right-wing to me! So since the Nazis embraced the Catholic Church (and the Church embraced Hitler), should we call Christianity fascist? And why did the Nazis view “liberals” as their enemy?

In America, German Fascism dazzled many American leaders of capitalist industry. They were William Randolph Hearst, Joseph Kennedy(JFK’s father), Charles Lindbergh, John Rockefeller, Andrew Mellon(head of Alcoa, banker, and Secretary of Treasury), DuPont, General Motors, Standard Oil (now Exxon), Henry Ford, ITT, Allen Dulles (later head of the CIA), Prescott Bush (don’t forget him), National City Bank, and General Electric.

          • Dave

Whats the matter DaveH, cat got your BS rhetoric?

          • WTS/JAY

I see the cat didn’t get your BS rhetoric, Dave.

          • WTS/JAY

Dave: The Nazis were pro-Christian, anti-communist, certainly anti-Marxist, imprisoned atheist and labor leaders–that sounds right-wing to me! So since the Nazis embraced the Catholic Church (and the Church embraced Hitler), should we call Christianity fascist? And why did the Nazis view “liberals” as their enemy?

It’s a frequent claim by skeptics that Hitler and the Nazis were Christians. Christopher Hitchens makes this point in practically every debate he participates in by pointing out the “God with Us” emblem that was found on the belt buckles of every Nazi uniform. Likewise, excerpts from Mein Kampf which speak of “God” are put forth as proof of Hitler’s Christian faith.

Like most urban legends, however, this one takes a sliver of truth and exaggerates it into epic proportions.

The fact is, Hitler and the Nazi party would never have risen to power without appealing to the religious sentiments of the German people. Thus, they carefully crafted rhetoric that would enable them to appear as faithful leaders who God had appointed to bring Germany back from the ruin it had experienced after WWI.

In his bestselling book “Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy”, biographer Eric Metaxas devotes a chapter to the intersection between Nazi propaganda and Christian theology.

“One sometimes hears that Hitler was a Christian. He was certainly not, but neither was he openly anti-Christian, as most of his top lieutenants were. What helped him aggrandize power, he approved of, and what prevented it, he did not. He was utterly pragmatic. In public he often made comments that made him sound pro-church or pro-Christian, but there can be no question that he said these things cynically, for political gain. In private, he possessed an unblemished record of statements against Christianity and Christians”.

Hitler’s attitude toward Christianity was that it was a great heap of mystical out-of-date nonsense. But what annoyed Hitler was not that it was nonsense, but that it was nonsense that did not help him get ahead. According to Hitler, Christianity preached “meekness and flabbiness,” and this was simply not useful to the National Socialist ideology, which preached “ruthlessness and strength.” In time, he felt that the churches would change their ideology. He would see to it.

Martin Bormann and Heinrich Himmler were the most passionately anti-Christian members of Hitler’s inner circle, and they didn’t believe the churches should adapt or could. They wanted the clergy crushed and the churches abolished, and they encouraged Hitler along these lines whenever possible. They hoped to accelerate the timetable for open warfare with the
church, but Hitler was in no hurry. Whenever he attacked the churches, his popularity waned. Unlike his top men, Hitler had an instinctive political sense of timing, and now was not the time to take on the churches directly. Now was the time to pretend to be pro-Christian. Hitler’s architect, Albert Speer, was a firsthand witness to Hitler’s coldblooded approach: “Around 1937, when Hitler heard that at the instigation of the party and the SS vast numbers of his followers had left the church because it was obstinately opposing his plans, he nevertheless ordered his close associates, above all Göring and Goebbels, to remain members of the church. He too would remain a member of the Catholic Church, he said,
although he had no real attachment to it.”

          • Frank Kahn

You should have stopped while you were behind, the improvement of roads (paving) was initiated by private enterprise, not the government. And, even after the government got involved, it was still private money (taxes) that paid for them.

Even the internet was not a government creation. It was conceived and built by private business, that saw a need and an opportunity.

The assembly line, a major step in the industrial revolution, was instituted by Henry Ford, not for the government, but as a means to increase the availability of inexpensive products.

Schools, were originally private enterprise also. It is arguable, whether governments interference, has been beneficial or not. And, what “worker training” are you claiming for government schools?

When you say “WE DID BUILD THAT”, are you saying collectively, or individually? Yes, we did build that, everyone gave personal input into all the infrastructure in this nation. We spent our time and money to build this nation. It was not the government, because they can not build anything.

          • Dave

Again Jay, I am not a conservative white racist… I would not be welcomed in the Klan. But I am sure you have your memebership pre-ordered… The Klan needs more dumb conservatives to survive.

          • WTS/JAY

No, you are not a Conservative white-racist, you are a Democratic white-racist. And on top of that, you have zero reading comprehension-skills. Another words, you’re a racist who can’t read. :)

          • WTS/JAY

Actually, he’s bummed out that he can’t post under several different personalities.

obummer is our Nightmare on Elm Street.

  • Nadzieja Batki

The movie is a propaganda tool of the moment. All sorts of permutations will be asked to be permitted in the event. What a load of doo doo. The only ones who would want the WH down are the Dems/Progs/Leftists/Marxists so they can erase the memory of Old American Republic. Once gone with only smidgens of remembrance and acknowledgement there would be no known encumbrance to remaking of America. Hide the books of history or make them inaccessible or make a crime to own or read them and how many people will be eager to storm the walls to get knowledge.

    • red neck

Hitler ordered the burning of books in order to erase history and keep the people stupid…. we have what are called skools that are nothing more than indoctrination camps for the progressive agenda.

I just read my grandson’s history text book for grade 10. The book is a beautiful example of promoting not only facts but critical thinking skills as well.

        • http://cowboybyte.com/ Alondra

And WHO wrote that text book?

          • Robbie

The book is called “Ways of the World: A Global History with Sources” and compiled by Robert W. Strayer.

          • http://cowboybyte.com/ Alondra

Robbie says: “The book is a beautiful example of romoting not only facts but critical thinking skills as well.”

            1) This book IS NOT AT ALL well written. It DOESN’T PRESENT events in a narrative format, so many of the things it describes are completely unmemorable. It contains unnecessary jargon and convoluted sentence structures… (Rated – 0)

            2) I use this as a lecturer. Nice and convincing composition. Well written. Great ILLUSTRATIONS.
(The commentator rated 3 stars of 5 for the “well written” book. I guess he gave 2 stars of his tree for the “Great ILLUSTRATIONS”)

            About author Robert W. Strayer
Since 2002, Robert Strayer taught world history at the University of California. So what it tells me? That he is a hardcore Liberal. And can I trust to text book written by Liberal? Of cause NOT.

            Enough said.

          • Robbie

I rarely find movie reviews of much use either. Having taught history for almost 3 decades I can tell you that I would have found this text VERY useful. As was in my day I had horrible texts which I seldom even handed out. I had to do the research myself to find the sources that Strayer provides. Had I had his book back in the day I’d have been very thankful. Also his approach to creation and evolution and democracy and religion etc. is right on the money.

Also, keep in mind that many students might find history to be less than exciting especially in print but that’s where the creative teacher comes in. A text is merely an aid in the promotion of critical thinking skills and in an appreciation for the arts.

          • WTS/JAY

Did you ever tell your students about the history of the KKK and the fact that your democratic-party created the organization, professor?

          • Robbie

You’re big on labels aren’t you? Especially labels that lost their meaning long ago. Anyway I only taught American history to three or four classes. My specialty was ancient and medieval studies with emphasis on art and literature as windows in to the lives of those peoples.

          • WTS/JAY

            Sounds really exciting, robbie…

          • Robbie

Actually it was. And dozens of years later I still keep in touch with some 60 of my former students. But then you don’t know much about teaching and certainly not much about ancient and medieval times.

          • WTS/JAY

Robbie: But then you don’t know much about teaching and certainly not much about ancient and medieval times.

And how would you know that, you puffed up, arrogant-clown? Anyone can research the drivel that you teach. Its available to anyone who is willing to do the leg work, for free. Why anyone would spend good money to listen to a liberal-buffoon ramble about something that can be easily discovered for free, can only be for the reason that they are just too mentally-lazy and brainwashed into believing that a good education can only be attained in a college or a university. But then again, you liberal-arts buffoons prefer a classroom full of non-thinking sheep, don’t you, professor brain-dead?

          • Robbie

It’s very easy to see that you know nothing about ancient and medieval times nor about art and culture simply by your attitude – as expressed above – towards college and university. Funnily enough you write nicely enough even using compound, complex sentences but your vocabulary is certainly insulting and crude. But, needless to say, nothing you spout here has any particular effect on anything except to express your poor self concept.

I realize uneducated folks have always made the claim that you don’t need to attend schools of higher learning to get “an education” and there is something to that. Daily life can, indeed, give one certain insights into human behaviour and whatnot but – let’s be honest here – spending one’s life at some boring repetitive job simply does not teach you much beyond the basics. The school of hard knocks as some would call it has limited scope. And hurling invective at people with advanced knowledge really does not improve your own education.

I’m sure there would be a school within your reach that offers continuing adult education. You should take advantage of that. In the meanwhile have a look at the Pericles Funeral Oration from ancient Athens. As an American I think you’d find it rather insightful. Let me know what you think.

I hope everyone posts this and passes it on to their firends, how true and if we don’t wake up our country is lost.

W.A.R., I don’t understand. In earlier reports, you have said that neither you or any of your classmates have ever mentioned or could remember attending class or seeing Obummer at Columbia. But, here you say that he WAS your classmate. Perhaps you meant to say that he was reportedly your classmate. Have other classmates finally volunteered that they did make Obummer’s acquaintance at Columbia? I say again, I don’t understand.

    • Dave

      Navy,
W.A.R is whats called a lying propagandist…. He makes outlandish statements with little or no proof to back up his assertions….
Have disagreements with Obama’s policies as I do on several fronts… But W.A.R plays to the lunatic conspiracy theory fringe. Accuracy, Truthfulness and reality-based arguement has no place in a W.A.R column.

      • NavyFlyer1325

And “Dave”, you are an Obamite mindless robot planted by the Democrats to reply in the negative to any thing that W.A.R. posts. Your posts are 1984 Newspeak, plain and simple. I just wanted W.A.R. to confirm or deny earlier reports. Obummer is the WORST PRESIDENT in history, and we will be lucky to get through his 2nd term without another U.S. Civil War.

        • Dave

No Navy I am not… I am just not the hater you are… Obviously you weren’t in this country from 2001-2008 when the true worst president (9/11, Chinese spy plane, Iraq, Afghan war bungled, Patriot Act, Horrible fed reaction to Katrina etc etc etc)
If you buy what W.A.R sells then you are an easily led automaton… W.A.R is a selfish (whats in it for me) corporatist.
And you just saw in his post what a liar W.A.R is and you can’t believe it…. Welcome to PLD.. Navy…

          • Dumpthekoolaid

Actually bush is the 2nd worse president. Obama gets full claim of #1. But you are right, bush was bad for America and set the stage for the lunacy Obama has wrought.

          • Bill

            Dump,
And don’t forget Carter, he also rates very high on the worst president list

          • NC

Bill. let give you a cite in a well respected magazine owned and OPERATED by a former candidate FOR THE REPUBLICAN NOMINATION FOR PRESIDENT, STEVE FORBES< REMEMBER HIM?? GO TO FORBES.COM AND SEE "PRESIDENTS AND PROSPERITY' AND SEE WHERE CARTER RANKED AGAINST THE OTHER REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTS SINCE WWII! IN A REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED MAGAZINE! GOT THE GUTS TO CHECK IT OUT????????????????????
MAYBE YOU FELL VICTIM TO THE KOOL AID!!
WOULD FORBES LET AN ARTICLE IN HIS MAGAZINE TELL A LIE ABOUT HIS BELOVED REPUBLICAN PARTY?????????????

          • Dave

            Really,
List for me all the things Obama actually has done as see how that compares to 9/11, Iraq etc… Ok?

          • Dumpthekoolaid

Oh I forgot, 9/11 was a conspiracy perpetrated by bush and cheney. I don’t think I will waste my time writing that list for you (which I could), it’s clear where you are coming from. But you are right about Iraq, too bad all your dems in congress voted yes on that war too. And bush didn’t have to “cave” into getting their approval. Oh…but he lied about WMD’s. Hmmmm…this could go on and on.

          • Dave

            Dump,
What did i say about a 9/11 conspiracy??? But Bush did use 9/11 as a tool to get us into Iraq.
Maybe you need to check the vote again… 22 Democrats and 1 Republican voted NO on that criminal’s use of force in the Senate..
WMD’s and who can and can’t have them is afalse premise ump.

          • Dave

Still waiting on that List Dump…Or are you like the rest of your conservative cohorts engaged in wishful thinking about Obama being anywhere near the worst because… Lets face facts… Obama got that Noble prize for one reason only….Bush was that bad…. The 2012 GOP convention didn’t even mention Bush… Bush was that bad.

          • Dumpthekoolaid

Dave, I won’t be providing a list. It would be a waste of time, and you know it. We will have to agree to disagree on this one. I’m looking through the prism of time. Bush caused immediate and mid-range damage, I will give you that. But given enough time, Obama’s agenda of promoting poverty, government “solutions”, trillion $ deficits, waste of money “stimulous” programs, more unfunded programs and liability on a scale never before seen, bad laws that kill growth and jobs (obamacare), hyperinflation-inducing money printing, destruction of our energy producing capabilities, “green” (is the new red) policy, etc., etc., …..our entire economy and society in general will be decimated. I’d say we are at 10-20 years max from seeing the absolute collapse of our dollar and country as we know it. I don’t believe it’s by accident, nor lack of smarts, and he will be long gone from the Whitehouse. I have no way to prove this, other than looking at European economic problems both past and present . We are doing EXACTLY what they did, and we will get exactly what they are getting. Only worse, because our economic policy is like Europe’s on steroids. I know you probably think his policy is making America better…only time (or common sense and a grasp on reality) will tell.

          • Dave

So we both agree that you have no list…. #1… #2, 40% of the stimulus was tax cuts (I thought conservatives liked that sort of thing)…#3 we are producing more oil today than ever before
And you have no list much less how Obama can do all this damage with a House of Representatives controlled by the GOP and a filibuster happy Senate that has the power to stop any legislation, appointments etc and have…
So really, you have nothing to illustrate Obama being the worst president as you put it. Just so we are clear.

          • Dave

And another thing Dump just so you are clear… nothing Obama, the GOP have done addresses the fundamental issues we have in trade, taxation, spending…. Those problems will not be addressed until we as the American people insist on getting big money OUT of the political process.

          • WTS/JAY

Good luck with that one, Dave. Since Obama’s been in office, Big money has it made in the shade, and Obama is providing the shade.

          • Dave

Jay, Jay, Jay…. I guess the Citizen’s United decision is lost on you but Obama has not written a brief against the decision so he is part of the problem as are your conservative heroes like Paul and Cruz.

          • WTS/JAY

Let put me it this way, Dave; Obama the corporatist and Obama the union-loving president, couldn’t be happier about the decision. Why else do you think he refrained from speaking out against it? The whore knows on which side his bread is buttered. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Obama influenced the decision, you know; like Obamacare…? :)

          • Dumpthekoolaid

Keep drinking the koolaid there Dave. Keep believing that obummer is making America stronger and better. For me, I will continue to stockpile canned food, fuel, and ammo. I see you didn’t bother to address the devastating effects of “obamacare” that not even the IRS and the unions want any part of (despite being ardent supporters early on). Nor did you address massive money printing or trillion dollar deficits as far as the eye can see (yeah, those are the key ingredients of long term strong economies). Most of his major “accomplishments” were done with both house and senate majorities, genius. You are truly a waste of time. Don’t expect anymore replies. Why don’t you make a list, since you seem to like lists so much. You should start with the top 10 reasons socialism will work for America, even though it’s failed in every other case in history.

          • Dave

Once again, I caught you in complete BS and all you can do is lie about what I believe and engage in the classic conservative tactic of “if I don’t believe what you believe, i want socialism…” Its always all or nothing to deflect when you lost the arguement

            So sad Dump….

You may go now…you have embarrassed yourself enough.

          • Dumpthekoolaid

Perhaps I’m guilty of making that assumption. However, you said “how that compares to 9/11″. Giving the impression that bush was some how responsible for Saudi nationals ramming jets into the twin towers. OK, not “all your dems” but enough were on board to make it happen was my point. Sorry I didn’t do the research needed to quote proper vote tallies. Again, guilty as charged. Let’s just end this one by saying bush is a horrible guy and criminal, and Obama our glorious leader has never done anything against America’s interest, nor criminal, nor illegal, nor unethical or immoral, never covered anything up, never played favorites politically, never abused his constitutional powers to spy on Americans, or to harass or target political enemies, or sign massive laws that will destroy millions of job opportunities for our kids and grandkids for generations to come, etc. Practically perfect in every way! Done deal.

          • Dave

So you can’t come up with a list right Dump? is that why putting words in my mouth? I have never Obama was anything of the sort you are trying to infer… But to say that Bush and Obama are anywhere close to being the same level of awfullness is political hackdom.

        • WTS/JAY

You have to understand, NF1325, Dave is an unemployed dead-beat. This is all he does all day long, blog blog blog…yet claims to run a business and is raising a family. What else could he be but a mindless Obamite-robot.

    • TML

Wayne has apparently gone from claiming he and his classmates do not remember Obama attending Columbia University, to admitting that he did, but claiming his classmates (all of them?) had some grand conspiracy to destroy capitalism and electing one of their own, alluding to Obama being that person. You’d think he was talking about Skull & Bones or something. Root makes a few good points, but overall, he has no credibility.

      • Robbie

Root also fails to explain how Obama could have been admitted to Harvard Law without having an undergraduate degree. But when you are just an attack dog logic does not play much of a role.

        • WTS/JAY

Speaking of attack dogs, down robbie. Bad doggie.

          • Robbie

Thanks for the comment but unfortunately it adds nothing to the topic at hand. So I’ll repeat that Root also fails to explain how Obama could have been admitted to law school without having an undergraduate degree. Perhaps he doesn’t actually comprehend how the education system operates.

          • WTS/JAY

Unfortunately, your comment adds nothing to the topic at hand; as per usual. Still waiting for you to post something, anything, that is remotely useful. Still waiting…

          • Robbie

Hang in there. And thanks for reading.

          • WTS/JAY

I think he’s point was that Obama was never admitted into law school, and that Obama’s so called credentials, are a pure fabrication.

          • Robbie

His point, then, is nuts. Not only did the President graduate from the Harvard Law School but he was elected one year as Editor of the Harvard Law Review and one year as President of the Harvard Law Review. And he was hired by the University of Chicago to teach law based on his Harvard law degree and those other achievements. In other words the contention that the President did not attend law school is the actual fabrication.

          • WTS/JAY

Everything about this impostor in the white-house is pure fabrication, from his birth, to his position that he currently holds, as far as i’m concerned. If he had nothing to hide, why would he spend millions in legal fees to seal his records, genius? And since he did seal his his records, how is it that you are privy to them, and can conclusively confirm his credentials? Have you seen his records, motor-mouth? No? Then what do you base your above comment on; are you psychic?

          • Robbie

I’ve already explained this. His grades are none of my business and none of your business. There is no obligation for anyone to broadcast their grades in school. But we do know that when you apply to law school you have to submit your grades and diploma as an undergraduate. That’s how he got in to law school. And to get a teaching position (at U of Chicago) he had to have submitted his Harvard law grades. Your ridiculous contention seems to be that Harvard admitted him to law school without his having an undergraduate degree (from Columbia). And your contention furthermore is that the Univ. of Chicago hired him without his having achieved a law degree from Harvard. You are simply way too far out to be taken seriously by anyone.

          • WTS/JAY

Robbie: I’ve already explained this. His grades are none of my business and none of your business. There is no obligation for anyone to broadcast their grades in school.

Why would anyone, especially a president, spend millions in legal fees and pass executive orders to seal his college/university records, Robbie? Don’t you think that’s a bit strange? What does he have to hide? Why the secrecy? What’s the big deal?

Supposedly, Obama attended the prestigious Punahou School in Honolulu, one of Hawaii’s top private institutions. He supposedly received a scholarship and attended the school from the fifth grade until he finished high school, (though no financial records have been released.) The Boston Globe reported, “In 1979, the year Obama graduated, tuition for high school students at Punahou was $1,990, a sizable expense compared with Hawaii’s median family income of $22,750 that year.

Obama, supposedly a “B” student, studied among the island’s richest and most accomplished students. According to the school’s website, he also played forward on Punahou’s 1979 state championship basketball team.

Obama supposedly arrived at Occidental College, a small liberal arts school in Los Angeles, Calif., in the fall of 1979. He only briefly mentions the school in his 1995 memoir, “Dreams from My Father.” He supposedly attended the school on a scholarship. Some question whether the financial aid he received was reserved for foreign students. (Financial records have not been released). In a legal action, handled largely by Gary Kreep of the U.S. Justice Foundation, officials at Occidental College were served with a demand to produce records concerning Barack Obama’s attendance there during the 1980s because they could document whether he was attending as a foreign national. Kreep petitioned the college with a demand for its records concerning Obama.

“The gravamen of the petition is the question as to whether United States Senator Barack Hussein Obama, of Illinois, is eligible to serve as president of the United States pursuant to the requirements for that office in the United States Constitution,” he wrote. “The records sought may provide documentary evidence, and/or admissions by said defendant, as to said eligibility or lack thereof.”

College officials then contacted Obama’s lawyers, who argued to the court that the election was over and that future concerns should be addressed to Congress. The motion stated that the records, which could reveal on what name Obama attended classes at Occidental and whether he attended on scholarship money intended for foreign students, “are of no relevance to this moot litigation.” The motion also claimed the petitioners failed to serve the subpoena properly.

“The subpoena directed to Occidental College should therefore be quashed. Alternatively, this court should issue an order directing that the deposition of the custodian of records of Occidental College not take place,” the firm working on Obama’s behalf stated.

“The central issue in this lawsuit … is whether any Respondent had a legal duty to demand proof of natural born citizenship from Democratic Party’s nominee,” the motion said. “None of the documents sought by petitioners could possibly assist in answering this question.” A judge granted a motion to quash the subpoena.

“Obama’s attorneys bent over backward to block us,” Kreep told WND. “Obama doesn’t want anyone to see those records. He’s trying to hide them.” His efforts resulted in a threat from Obama’s attorneys to seek financial sanctions against the plaintiff’s lawyers.

A notice posted on the Occidental College website states, “Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations protect the privacy of student education records. We, therefore, cannot disclose students’ classes, grade point averages, majors or other such information.”

Obama supposedly transferred from Occidental College to Columbia University in 1981, at the age of 20. According to the New York Times, Obama “suggests in his book that his years in New York were a pivotal period: He ran three miles a day, buckled down to work and ‘stopped getting high,’ which he says he had started doing in high school. Yet he declined repeated requests to talk about his New York years, release his Columbia transcript or identify even a single fellow student, co-worker, roommate or friend from those years.”

Campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt told the newspaper in October 2007, “He doesn’t remember the names of a lot of people in his life.”

In a 2005 profile in a Columbia alumni magazine, Obama called his time at the school “an intense period of study.”

“I spent a lot of time in the library. I didn’t socialize that much. I was like a monk,” he said.

Obama claimed to be a part of the Black Student Organization and anti-apartheid activities. But according to the New York Times, several well-known student leaders did not recall his involvement. Fox News made contact with 400 of Obama’s classmates. No one remembered him.

The Columbia University chapter in Obama’s life remains blank, according to the New York Sun.

“The Obama campaign has refused to release his college transcript, despite an academic career that led him to Harvard Law School and, later, to a lecturing position at the University of Chicago,” the Sun reported in September 2008. “The shroud surrounding his experience at Columbia contrasts with that of other major party nominees since 2000, all whom have eventually released information about their college performance or seen it leaked to the public.”

When the newspaper inquired, the Obama campaign did not offer an explanation for why the transcript had not been released. According to the New York Sun, a program from Columbia’s 1983 commencement ceremony lists Obama as a graduate. University spokesman Brian Connolly confirmed that Obama graduated with a major in political science but without honors. Nonetheless, he was later admitted to Harvard Law School. Before applying to Harvard, Obama is said to have written a major thesis in his senior year. It has not been released.

An Oct 30, 2007, a New York Times article stated, “[Obama] barely mentions Columbia, training ground for the elite, where he transferred in his junior year, majoring in political science and international relations and writing his thesis on Soviet nuclear disarmament.”

Former Columbia professor, Michael Baron, told NBC News Obama excelled in his year-long honors seminar called American Foreign Policy. He also said Obama spent a whole year writing a “thesis” or “senior thesis” on the topic of nuclear negotiations with the former Soviet Union.

“My recollection is that the paper was an analysis of the evolution of the arms reduction negotiations between the Soviet Union and the United States,” Baron told reporters in an e-mail. “At that time, a hot topic in foreign policy circles was finding a way in which each country could safely reduce the large arsenal of nuclear weapons pointed at the other … For U.S. policy makers in both political parties, the aim was not disarmament, but achieving deep reductions in the Soviet nuclear arsenal and keeping a substantial and permanent American advantage. As I remember it, the paper was about those negotiations, their tactics and chances for success. Barack got an A.”

Baron said he saved Obama’s paper and recently searched through boxes hoping to find it, but he told reporters he may have thrown it away during a move several years ago..?

Baron wrote a letter of recommendation when Obama applied to Harvard Law School. According to Federal Election Commission records, he also donated at least $1,250 to Obama’s presidential campaign.

On July 24, 2008, the Obama administration told NBC News Obama was unable to release copies of his thesis paper.

“We do not have a copy of the course paper you requested and neither does Columbia University,” Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt said.

According to MSNBC, Columbia University officials claim they do not have a copy available in the college’s archives. With less than steller marks upon his graduation from Columbia, Obama was accepted into Harvard Law School.

WND columnist Jack Cashill wrote, “If Obama’s LSAT scores merited admission (to Harvard), we would know about them. We don’t. The Obama camp guards those scores, like his SAT scores, more tightly that Iran does its nuclear secrets.”

He continued, “We know enough about Obama’s Columbia grades to know how far they fall below the Harvard norm, likely even below the affirmative action-adjusted black norm at Harvard.”

Cashill wrote, Khalid al-Mansour, principle adviser to Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, lobbied friends like Manhattan Borough President Percy Sutton to intervene at Harvard on Obama’s behalf. Al-Mansour reportedly mentored founders of the Black Panther party in the early 1960s. Cashill suggests Obama’s “shyness” about his Harvard experience may stem from his reluctance to broadcast his connections.

According to Politico, Obama’s name does not appear on any legal scholarships during his time at Harvard. His campaign reportedly said his Harvard education was a product of hard work and student loans. Obama graduated magna cum laude in 1991. In 1990, Obama beat out 18 other contenders to become the first black president of the Harvard Law Review, where he spent at least 50 hours a week editing submissions from judges, scholars and authors.

According to Politico, there were “eight dense volumes produced during his time in charge there – 2,083 pages in all.”

Campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt told Politico Obama didn’t write any articles for the Review, but he did leave behind numerous case analyses and unsigned “notes” from Harvard students.

As Matthew Franck noted in National Review Online, “A search of the HeinOnline database of law journals turns up exactly nothing credited to Obama in any law review anywhere at any time.”

Susan Estrich, the first female president of the Review who served 14 years earlier, said Obama must have had something published that year, even if his campaign denied it.

“They probably don’t want [to] have you [reporters] going back” to examine the Review, she said.

However, Politico later reported it had unearthed a 1990 article that “offers a glimpse at Obama’s views on abortion policy and the law during his student days.” His six-page summary answers a legal question about whether fetuses should be allowed to file lawsuits against their mothers.

“Obama’s answer, like most courts’: No,” Politico reported. “He wrote approvingly of an Illinois Supreme Court ruling that the unborn cannot sue their mothers for negligence, and he suggested that allowing fetuses to sue would violate the mother’s rights and could, perversely, cause her to take more risks with her pregnancy.”

The report continued, “His article acknowledged a public interest in the health of the fetus, but also seemed to demonstrate his continuing commitment to abortion rights, and suggested that the government may have more important concerns than ‘ensuring that any particular fetus is born.’”

Despite its earlier statement, the Obama campaign later confirmed Obama’s authorship of the article and claimed it was the only piece he had written for the Review.

Obama lectured at the University of Chicago Law School, a top school where the faculty is known for voluminous scholarly publishing, from 1992 until 2004.

The university offered Obama a full-time tenure-track position, an honor typically reserved for published instructors. However, reporters have been unable to find scholarly articles authored by him. The university reports that Obama declined the tenure offer.

Sarah Galer, news editor at the Law School and Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, told WND, “President Obama wrote ‘Dreams from My Father’ while at the law school but did not produce any scholarly articles as far as I know.”

As to Obama’s citizenship status: “As Obama transforms this country from self-governing constitutional republic to one governed by a central ruling elite, the simple fact remains that no controlling legal authority has established that he is indeed a ‘natural born citizen’ as the Constitution requires,” Joseph Farah said. “Obama’s promises of transparency have become a bad joke as he continues to hide simple, innocuous documents like his birth certificate and his student records.” Joseph Farah

          • Robbie

A great deal of what you have copied here actually proves that the President did, in fact, attend the various schools we know he went to. No one knew him and yet his senior professor remembers him and his final paper. Also, I might add, if you did any research on your own you’d know that his roommate wrote a book about those years. Plus keep in mind it is no great revelation to “reveal” that as editor of the prestigious Harvard Law Review that Obama did not submit any articles. An EDITOR edits the work of others and does not submit his/her own work. But anyway everything you’ve copied out for us shows that Obama did go to these schools. Thanks for that.

          • WTS/JAY

No, that does not prove that he actually attended those schools, robbie. In fact, what the article states is that, it is “claimed”, that obama attended such and such a school; yet, no one remembers him, and those who claim to remember him, one professor, who supposedly read a paper by obama, has conveniently lost, the alleged paper.

So, obama spends millions in legal fees to seal his educationial-records, no one remembers him, and the only on who claimed to have known him, can’t prove it.

There is not one shred of evidence, not one piece of paper or record, none, nil, as ALL RECORDS have been sealed, to prove the allegation that obama attended any of the schools he claims to have attended. Not one shred or piece of evidence, robbie. Not one!

Btw, your reading comprehension skills are nothing short of atrocious, professor stupid .

          • Robbie

Maybe you can explain just how Obama was elected first as editor of the Harvard Law Review and then President of same if he did not attend Harvard. And please explain why the piece YOU quoted would say: “Obama lectured at the University of Chicago law school…” if he did not lecture at the University of Chicago law school? Thanks so much.

          • Robbie

Look, you have to get past your current obsession. You need to face up to the fact that the President is a smart black guy and the next President is most probably going to be a smart woman named Hillary. You have to get on with your life such as it is.

          • WTS/JAY

Hillary? Only in your wet dreams, professor. That old hag has way too much baggage to run for president. Besides, she tried that for 2008 and, well…you know what happened, or didn’t happen. No, i don’t think so, professor, because when people think of hillary, they think of slick-willie and most importantly, her profiteering from the Iraq-war, and Benghazi…where she showed her true colours and her absolute disregard for American lives. Seems rather odd, professor, that you would wish that a person of such low moral-character should occupy the white-house; is it because you identify with such individuals, professor…?

          • Robbie

Had Obama not come first Hillary would have beaten any of the clowns the GOP put forward last time and I’m predicting a win for her (or any Dem who gets the nod) next time. Keep in mind that the Obama machine in every state and every city is already organizing for the next general election. Also keep in mind the almost total chaos in the GOP. Anyway I’m hoping the Donald will be part of the GOP sideshow not to mention Sarah and Michelle and Rick ‘ooops’ Perry. Should be very entertaining.

          • WTS/JAY

That’s the difference between you and me, professor. You are clearly under the delusion that the KKK-domocratic-party is somehow morally superior to the GOP. Where as, i’m under no such delusion; for it is clear to me, that both, are hopelessly corrupt and serve at the altar of big-money interests. Why you would support either one, could only be for the reason i stated earlier; because you indetify with corruption and low moral-content; and naturally so, especially in light of the fact that you are a liberal-arts professor, or so you claim. For all we know, you are probably just another wet-behind-the-ears-newbie blogging from your mommy’s basement. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if that were so, especially in light of your immature comments.

          • Robbie

You find someone predicting the next federal election to be immature? Interesting. Anyway President H. Clinton will be improving upon the Affordable Health Care Act whilst the GOP clowns mumble and bumble along like last time.

          • WTS/JAY

I think the GOP clowns will keep the old hag off balance by reminding the American public of the scandals she and the current clown in office were involved in. She doesn’t have a snowball’s change in he77, and neither does the KKK democratic-party, as they had so far 5 years to prove themselves, but only managed to prove that they are a bunch of buffoons that they always have been, and always will be. Keep dreaming, dumb-bell…and enjoy the party while it lasts, for it will soon be over.

          • Robbie

The President has a 45% approval rating give or take. Congress – thanks to the do nothing Republicans – has an approval rating of something like 9%. I don’t know how long a snowball lasts in he77 but I do know that 45 is bigger than 9.

          • WTS/JAY

And from what garbage-bin did you dig up those statistics from, robbie? My guess is that, you just pulled them out of your azz like everything else you post. No, i don’t think so. You half-wits had a chance and you blew it; and no doubt, the GOP party will do the same, when elected. The reason for that, robbie, is that both parties are made up of buffoons, hypocrites, liars, traitors, and spineless cowards, which doesn’t say much about you.

          • Robbie

My stats come from what I read in newspapers and see on TV news and/or sites showing the results of polls. Of course you will say that the “mainstream media” can never be trusted or even get things correct because they are not in agreement with your right wing nut job outlets and the likes of FOX “news”. But I would remind you of how totally correct mainstream news was in predicting the results of the last federal election. The funniest event of that last evening of the election was watching all the dopes on FOX trying to cope with Obama’s impressive victory. They were o convinced that the chief clown – Mitt – had the election in the bag. It was so sweet. I think even Mitt thought he was going to be the President.

          • WTS/JAY

Oh, the mainstream media? That’s what i thought, you did get your stats from the garbage bin. I bet you rather enjoy rooting through garbage like a hog, don’t you piggy? Oink oink…

          • Robbie

You might want to reevaluate various media based on results. During the last federal election the mainstream media – for months – were showing in their polls that Obama would be re-elected by a majority and that he would win most of the swing states. Wishful thinking media like FOX and Rush were saying there would be a Mitt LANDSLIDE! Not just a win but a freakin’ landslide (they even had me worried). So to decide who was more accurate I guess we have to look at the final result don’t we. The normal polling places and media got it right on the money – an Obama majority and, as it turned out, an impressive victory in the electoral college. Mitt and that other clown were gonzo. The FOX “news” folks went into shock because they actually believed the nonsense they were feeding their viewers. So you can make oink, oink sounds but that makes you look even dumber.

  • Bill

    Great article, Wayne
We can judge how good your article is by how many liberal posters get their panties in a twist over it. Keep up the good work. And to all you liberals/socialists out there, “You want the truth? You can’t handle the truth.”

    • Dave

Bill said “truth” BWHAHAHAHA…. in a W.A.R piece…. LOL OMG that was a good one… You should take that act on the road Billy.

      • WTS/JAY

Did you get your panties in a bunch, Dave?

      • Robert Messmer

Since you laugh about “truth” you are implying there is none. So all the media reports about churches being burned, christians being killed by Muslims were all lies? President Obama is not trying to bomb Syria? [Yes he said no boots on the ground. Another Democrat President assured us that he wouldn’t ask American boys to fight a war that Asian boys should fight. He didn’t ask but he did ship them to Nam by the thousands.] Guess that means I didn’t really see the news cast where Obama butted in and misrepresented the facts concerning the Zimmerman case. I admit I don’t watch every news cast but it you will furnish the link I will most gladly look up where he has said, ” These two women gang raped by black youths in that park could have been my daughters. This violence by black youths must stop.” No truth in the fact that we are broke and White House tours have been stopped?

  • Nadzieja batki

Is there a central agency from which the Dems/Progs/Leftist get their assigned words and clichés to use to Conservatives and Libertarian?
Apparently word of the day is “Haters”.

    • Dave

And fascists/corporatists/conservative extremists like to throw around words like socialist/communist/Marxist without any clue what they mean…
Where do you get those instructions from Nads?

      • WTS/JAY

Hey Dave, your KKK meeting, remember? You don’t want to be late for the cross burnings, do you?

        • Dave

As I already told you… I am not a conservative racist… I would not be welcome. You wear a queen sheet or Cal king Grand Wizard?

          • WTS/JAY

Ah, you say you are not a member, yet you know all the KKK lingo. Come on, Dave, who you kidding? What time’s your meeting?

          • independent thinker

Notice he said he was not a conservative racist however that leaves open the fact that he is a liberal racist.

          • WTS/JAY

Oh, he’s a racist, no doubt about that.

          • Dave

The KKK is a conservative racist institution… Which was the point non-independent non-thinker

            Jay,

            Prove your assertion. Liar

          • WTS/JAY

The KKK was created by the Democrats, Klan boy. Read them and weep, fool.

The original targets of the Ku Klux Klan were Republicans, both black and white, according to a new television program and book, which describe how the Democrats started the KKK and for decades harassed the GOP with lynchings and threats.

An estimated 3,446 blacks and 1,297 whites died at the end of KKK ropes from 1882 to 1964.

The documentation has been assembled by David Barton of Wallbu More..ilders and published in his book “Setting the Record Straight: American History in Black & White,” which reveals that not only did the Democrats work hand-in-glove with the Ku Klux Klan for generations, they started the KKK and endorsed its mayhem.

“Of all forms of violent intimidation, lynchings were by far the most effective,” Barton said in his book. “Republicans often led the efforts to pass federal anti-lynching laws and their platforms consistently called for a ban on lynching. Democrats successfully blocked those bills and their platforms never did condemn lynchings.”

Further, the first grand wizard of the KKK was honored at the 1868 Democratic National Convention, no Democrats voted for the 14th Amendment to grant citizenship to former slaves and, to this day, the party website ignores those decades of racism, he said.

“Although it is relatively unreported today, historical documents are unequivocal that the Klan was established by Democrats and that the Klan played a prominent role in the Democratic Party,” Barton writes in his book. “In fact, a 13-volume set of congressional investigations from 1872 conclusively and irrefutably documents that fact.

“The Klan terrorized black Americans through murders and public floggings; relief was granted only if individuals promised not to vote for Republican tickets, and violation of this oath was punishable by death,” he said. “Since the Klan targeted Republicans in general, it did not limit its violence simply to black Republicans; white Republicans were also included.”

Barton also has covered the subject in one episode of his American Heritage Series of television programs, which is being broadcast now on Trinity Broadcasting Network and Cornerstone Television.

Barton told WND his comments are not a condemnation or endorsement of any party or candidate, but rather a warning that voters even today should be aware of what their parties and candidates stand for.

          • Dave

Yes dummy, they were created by white southern conservative Democrats and after the 1960s and civil rightslegislation got passed by Democrats… Which party did the white conservative politicians flock to? I will give you a hint… It was the party which their conventions are a sea of white people…

The parties have changed since the 1960s but the one thing that hasn’t is white conservative are the KKK….

But you are too stupid to get that.

          • WTS/JAY

You are a revisionist, Davey boy, which is the same as calling you a liar, of which you are. It is the Democrats that are obsessed with racism and always going out of their way to point out the differences between the races. The only thing that has changed with the KKK Democratic-party, is that now they discriminate against whites. That is the only difference. So yes, you, and the racist-party you cheer for, are still a bunch of racists, you racist pigs.

    • KG

Yea, it’s called “Liberal Arts Education” or actually utilizing a library for it’s intended purpose – to have an educated public. However, Conservatives fell such things are not necessary. The “Free Market” will supply us what we need.

      • TheOriginalDaveH

There’s nothing “educated” about you, KGB. If you were, you would know that Free Markets trump Socialism soundly.
        http://library.mises.org/books/Kel%20Kelly/The%20Case%20for%20Legalizing%20Capitalism.pdf

        • Robbie

The American free market system certainly trumps socialism – for the ultra rich 2% of the country that gets the benefits and ownership of 65% of all the weath. Then 98% of the population that has to fight over the scraps are not so fond of capitalism.

          • Bill

            Robbie,
I see that the psychedelic drugs are working real well for you

          • Robbie

Really? Care to elaborate in any way such as disproving my comment? Or do you just make bald faced pronouncements devoid of facts?

          • WTS/JAY

No, making bald faced pronouncements is your speciality, robbie. Come on, give us another one. :)

          • Dumpthekoolaid

Oh my. Another one of the liberal art degree holders, I see. So if I work for Nike, in lower level management, making $150K a year (all because the free market allows them to compete in the sportswear market, providing tens of thousands of people with employment), then I’m fighting over scraps? Perhaps the bus driver making 100K paid by tax dollars is fighting over scraps? Progressives have very interesting interpretations of words like “scraps”, “fighting”, “benefits”, etc. I’m not the founder of Nike, nor did I work 100 hours a week for the first 20 years to turn it into an empire. But in my above scenario, I’m reaping plenty of “benefits” of his success and hard work, that I did nothing to create. Regardless of how much he makes, I have a way to provide for my family and future. If every body works for government, who writes the checks?

          • Nadzieja Batki

So what stops the 98% from getting an education, getting a trade, working crazy hours, sacrificing time with family?
What you want Robbie is to Steal what someone else produced and sacrificed for. You can couch all the words in every imaginable ideology/religion but you are still wanting to be a THIEF.

No we’re not! Individual sovereignty still exists in America, despite your socialist mantra!

          • Robbie

Your comment highlights the dilemma. You are under the impression that you and you alone are responsible for whatever it is that you have and do. You seem oblivious to the role others play and have played in the same world you are a part of. In the purest sense of your “philosophy” you operate in a universe that consists only of YOU.

          • WTS/JAY

That’s right, dumb dumb, it’s called individualism. To power-hungry socialists, individualism is a four letter word.

          • Robbie

It’s actually a state of delusion.

          • WTS/JAY

A deluded socialist speaking on delusion? Now that’s rich.

          • Dave

Jay is such a moron… The military is successful because they act as a team…. Socities work because of everyone playing roles in society for the good of the country.
If we just had strict individualism, the country would fail. We succeeded in WW2 because we acted as one.
But Jay, is too ignorant to understand these concepts.

          • WTS/JAY

Dave: The military is successful because they act as a team….

Imperialism is successful because we have a collective, non-thinking automatons with guns who obey orders without questions.

Dave: Socities work because of everyone playing roles in society for the good of the country. If we just had strict individualism, the country would fail.

The country has, failed, dumb dumb. The country is broke and bankrupt. The military is spread all over the globe protecting big-corporate interests, we have 50 million people on food-stamps, 17% unemployment, and no industry. Is that your idea of successful? Seems to me like we could use more individualism; don’t you thinks , dumb-bell?

Dave: We succeeded in WW2 because we acted as one.

Whose we, Dave? The only one’s who succeeded were the one’s who funded and engineered the war. Are you really that stupid?

Dave: But Jay, is too ignorant to understand these concepts.

I disagree. I understand exactly where you are coming from, and ignorant doesn’t begin to describe you. You’re beyond ignorant. You are ignorant on steroids.

In America you like anyone in America can and do have the freedom to become wealthy if you work hard at it Robbie, take the computer that your typing on right now, someone had this idea, put it out there on the free market and Walla become RICH in the Capitalism free market system, now I ask you if Big Government is the answer and redistribution of wealth is so great, then why is it so many people have lost their homes their jobs and depend on Government checks to survive ?

          • ibn insha

Did the rich steal from you? When was the last time a poor gave you a job? People who sit on their asses all day dong nothing but stuffing their faces with taxpayers provided food stamps can never get rich.

          • Robbie

You’re actually not wrong about people sitting around all day stuffing their faces. Kind of reminds me of top oil and other C.E.O.’s sitting around at their golf courses trying to figure out how to out source their billion dollar + salaries per year. It’s not easy but someone’s got to do it.

          • keepersleeper

Yeah, and if you had that kind of money, you’d be just as engrossed in keeping your wealth! Stop whining!

          • Robbie

Sorry, but that’s not true. Anyway best of luck in your quest for boundless wealth.

          • keepersleeper

If you’re not in the ultra rich 2%, why be envious? If fighting over scraps occurs, it’s because of liberal policies that make attaining wealth difficult. Liberals are NEVER happy about ANYTHING in life and are NEVER satisfied with any policies they espouse…they are the most MISERABLE people on the planet and they work HARD to make everyone else JUST AS MISERABLE! Stop BITCHING and MOANING and go make your OWN millions!

      • Dumpthekoolaid

As long as the libs get to decide what books to put on the shelves. Our higher learning institutions stopped teaching how to think, and started teaching what to think decades ago. Conservative professors are about as common as good jobs for people with liberal art degrees.

        • Bill

          Good analogy, Dump

      • WTS/JAY

What liberal arts teach is the value of everything and the price of nothing.

“The editors of Personal Liberty have pointed out that a few of you have an issue with my comment that Obama was my Columbia classmate, because I’ve pointed out that I never saw him and never heard of him. I’ve also said no one I know at Columbia ever saw him or heard of him. I’ve even found an honored professor who says no one saw him, or heard of him. I’ve made all of this controversy and mystery abundantly clear in numerous commentaries and media interviews. But I think you are misinterpreting what I said.

Please go back and read any of my commentaries. In numerous articles and media interviews I’ve said I assume Obama went to Columbia. I assume he was accepted at Columbia (although I believe he got in as a foreign student from Indonesia- the site of his childhood). I assume he graduated- because Columbia would not risk a billion dollar brand to lie. That would be fraud.

But he was certainly rarely or never in class. As I’ve said in numerous media interviews, I assume he was too busy to attend class. He was busy attending radical socialist and communist party meetings. He was busy hanging out with his America-hating terrorist friends like Bill Ayers. He was busy attending meetings where he plotted how to overwhelm the system, bring down capitalism, and destroy America. He was busy smoking pot and discussing his hatred for America with his foreign student roommates and friends (check out several media articles- he roomed only off-campus with foreign students). Then he took his ‘Gentleman’s C or D’ and got his sheepskin. Everyone knows once you get into an Ivy League school, you can slack off, you can never attend class, you can get straight D’s, and you still graduate. Once in, you are a member of the elite club- whether you work or not, whether you go to class or not.

So Obama is my classmate…but what he did at Columbia is still very much a mystery and controversy. He sure was not seen in class or around campus. And how he got into Columbia is an even bigger mystery and controversy. I believe he could never have gotten in without posing as a foreign student. That is the real smoking gun. If he was an American citizen, but knowingly posed as an Indonesian by using his school records and passport from his time in Indonesia, then he committed fraud.”

WAR, you have no independent recollection of him AND HAVE TALKED TO NO ONE WHO KNEW HIM YET YOU “KNOW” EXACLTY EVERYTHING HE DID WHEN HE WAS NOT IN CLASS??? HOW DO YOU “KNOW” THAT? DO YOU USE THE SAME LOGIC YOU USED TO “KNOW” HE WOULD LOSE IN A LANDSLIDE?????????????????? JUST ASKING??

          • WTS/JAY

Yet your memory fails you when it comes to the sins of Obama. Funny how your Alzheimers fades in and out, hey nc?

        • independent thinker

nc is in his second childhood and stuck on three years old. That is evident by his screaming and throwing a temper tantrum in almost every post.

    • Dave

      Wayne,
Just admit your whole reason for being is to get each village idiot who buys your conjecture and your conspiracy theories all up in a tizzy for your own political gain.
Just admit it Wayne. Most people know that you are full of dung but there are some here who drink your kool-aid.

      • WTS/JAY

Did you attended Colombia at some point in time in your life, Davey? No? Then shut your mouth, you ignorant sop. I’ll take the word of someone who actually attended the University over yours, any day, ignoramus!

      • WTS/JAY

Hey Dave, don’t you have a KKK meeting to attend?

        • Dave

Sorry, I am not a conservative racist…. I would not be welcome at such a gathering… You on the other hand would be welcomed with open arms

          • WTS/JAY

That’s funny, you sound just like a racist bigot.

    • chuck byard

Wayne, did you inquire at Columbia using the name Barry Soetoro??
Did you check the local Mosque or do they keep records on camel jockeys.

    • keepersleeper

Facts are undeniable…those who choose to ignore them, do so at their own peril. Obama IS a fraud…ignorant people simply choose NOT to believe the evidence that’s abundantly clear!

      • keepersleeper

I wish someone with millions would offer an enormous reward to extract all of Obama’s hidden info. Money Talks!

    • Jack

      WAR:
When the day comes that you find yourself standing before God awaiting his justice, do you think he will not know that almost on a daily basis you bore false witness against others by delibertly deceiving people about your political opponents.
Can’t you find things to gripe about concerning Obama, liberals, progressives, unions and democrats without lying or exagerating about what they are doing?

    • rbrooks

Then he took his ‘Gentleman’s C or D’ and got his sheepskin. Everyone
knows once you get into an Ivy League school, you can slack off, you can
never attend class, you can get straight D’s, and you still graduate.
Once in, you are a member of the elite club- whether you work or not,
whether you go to class or not. <<

perhaps the reason you do not remember, is you missed class? you got your gentleman's sheepskin? lived off your ivy league reputation. lol.

it must be driving you nuts, wayne. obama became the president and you are stuck writing radical tripe.

    • jaybird

Since no one saw him or remembers Obama, you should have referred to him as your “missing or invisible classmate because at first I went “what” is he saying? I thought “maybe” someone had come forward.

He has committed a felony by using someone’s SS# and the phony draft registration card was tampered with.

I see the Obama snake has charmed some people on this site by his weaving and bobbing of his head, smiling and waving his hands.

I think the libs want to ban guns because after all of this insanity they are inflicting on our country, sane minded people want to shoot themselves in the head….causing a decrease in tax revenue.

Virtually all of the above article is pure nonsense.

    • WTS/JAY

Virtually of all your comments that you haver posted are pure nonsense, robbie. Actually, all of them! :)

      • Robbie

Thanks for following. I guess you agree, then, with the poster who claimed America was being destroyed by some kind of “text book Communism”? You right wing nut jobs just get funnier and funnier!

    • Don 2

      Hey Hockey Puck,
I hear you Canadians support U.S. military action in Syria, but don’t want to actually get involved yourselves and get your hands dirty, or spend any of your precious healthcare money. That’s mighty big of you guys, so willing to sacrifice American lives and money, but of course, that’s been the case for many years now, eh Hockey Puck! But then I forgot, you don’t actually have a real military force because America protects your butts for free.

      • nc

DON 2, You just made the same dumb a$$ mistake that simple minded Bill oreally made in dogging the Canadian military about their contributions to world peace!! You seen to forget how much longer the Canadian Military fought in the two world wars than the US Military did! They bleed too!
I don’t always agree with them but they are not obligated to agree with us!

        • Don 2

          nc,

That’s the problem, I don’t want them to agree with Obama. They offer verbal support, but don’t want to put any skin in the game. I fail to see where Canada encouraging Obama to do a limited strike on Syria in support of jihadists who took down the world trade center, and want to kill all of us, including Canadians, is going to contribute to world peace.

What does ancient Canadian military events of 68 or more years ago have to do with Canada’s military today? Stop living in the past nc. Do you think that today’s Canada has a military capable of even defending Canada? How many aircraft carriers did you say they have?

Let’s get real here nc. Hockey Puck keeps putting his 2 cents in America’s face about how great national healthcare is. Canada knows that they are under the U.S. umbrella and can instead divert their money to their social programs, just like Europe, while broke America foots the military bill for everyone’s protection and continues to decline under unsustainable record spending.

      • Robbie

Look, we realize how much you guys enjoy bombing other countries into the stone age so we let you knock yourselves out. Cheers. R

        • keepersleeper

Are you referring to countries that are STILL IN THE STONE AGE?? Bugwit!!

          • Robbie

Of course some are still in the stone age but others are not. Do you remember all of the loss of life in Vietnam? That was a good one eh? How did that one work out for you? Guys are still around with no legs thanks to that screw up and in a month I’ll be visiting Hanoi as a freakin’ tourist. Hard to believe but true. Iraq was a good one too & Afghanistan!

        • Don

Frankly, I am against a military strike on Syria, but your Canadian verbal support of an American military strike without your country actually having any skin to put in the game just highlights your status as another welfare beneficiary state dependent upon America’s military to protect you, and do the dirty work.

Now I see why Obama thinks that there are 58 states. He is counting Canada and a few others.

          • Robbie

Canada has given verbal support for an attack on Syria? I hadn’t heard of that.

    • keepersleeper

      Do you goose step?

      • Robbie

        No, but thanks for asking.

  • Red55bird

Communists like Van Jones said this, that the way to destroy the American Capitalist free market system, was to brink pressure from the bottom and pressure from the top together and squeeze the people in the middle. This Administration is working hand in hand with unions and unelected bureaucrats in Washington D.C. to redistribute the wealth of America, by doing so you then can bring America down to it’s knees, making citizens depended on Government hand outs to survive. America what you are witnessing is text book Communist doctrine in the destruction of the citizens Republic.

  • BUD USMC

AND I THOUGHT ALL OF OUR CRAZIES WAS IN WASHINGTON DC BUT AFTER READING THROUGH ALL THE ABOVE COMMENTS. I NOW REALIZE THAT WITH THE RIGHT KIND OF MATERIAL EVER ONE CAN GO OF THE DEEP IN. BUT SOME MORE THAN OTHERS
THE TWO WORST PRESIDENTS ARE OBAMA AND CARTER AS FOR BUSH MADE THE MISTAKE OF LISTENING TO THE WRONG THE GUY HIS DIM WIT VP. THE LAST GOOD PRESIDENT WE HAD WAS GEORGE HW BUSH. HE KNEW WHAT LEADERSHIP WAS AND HE WAS A GOOD ARM TWISTER. ONLY IDIOTS WOULD GET INVOLVED IN SYRIA, BESIDES OBAMAS DRONES HAVE KILLED MORE INNOCENT PEOPLE THAN THE GAS IN SYRIA AND WHO KNOWS FOR SURE WERE IT CAME FROM.
    EVERY ONE BE NICE NOW.

  • keepersleeper

I am so weary of Obama…I never thought I would feel so much misery, as I do under this administration. I never thought I would witness such a HOSTILE president…he fights with states that stand against his a##hole policies and he blocks ANY free capital market ideas. To put it bluntly: Obama is a dream destroyer…he HATES America.

  • Elevenarrows

I get what you are saying, Mr.Root, but Obama doesn’t actually hold a check book to America’s bank account. Congress does. Congress is absolutely every bit as responsible for this mess as Obama is. What is so discouraging to most of us that realize the danger the country is in is that the president should be impeached (on many accounts), but Congress will never hold him accountable. Most of Congress has proven to be anti-American, too. Yes, we can hold them accountable in elections, but much has already been put into place to make electing true statesmen almost impossible. I, for one, do not trust our election process anymore. And as discriminating as it may sound, I think only property owners should have the vote. As long as those who sit on their sofas, eating Doritos, watching TV all day while receiving benefits from the hard-working sector of our nation can still vote…they will ALWAYS vote for the candidate/party that will give them the most “freebies”. Phones, educations, housing, food…as long as it keeps rolling into their greedy hands, nothing will change.

Despite the pessimism of my post, I still teach my kids the founding documents. I still insist they carefully evaluate each candidate. I still insist they register to vote as soon as they turn 18. I still teach them true history–not what is called “history” by the propaganda machines. I still attempt to instill in them a love for America and an active watchfulness and constitutional resistance to tyranny—even when it is found in the halls of our nation’s leadership. AND, I still teach them the lessons our nation failed to learn from Nazi Germany…which, by the way, is alive and well in Germany based on how they are treating families desiring to home educate their children. Gestapo-type home invasions, children being forcibly torn from parents’ arms…we’ve learned nothing and history is repeating itself. All Americans should be concerned because eventually, this behavior will reach our shores. Last time it was the Jews. Today, it is Christians. If we think the persecution will not escalate, we are naive. Even our president works hard to fan the flames of racism and discrimination.

    • Kinetic1

      Elevenarrows,
“And as discriminating as it may sound, I think only property owners should have the vote.”
It doesn’t just sound discriminatory, it is! I don’t know where you live, but in many areas the cost of owning a home is so high that even the well educated rent their homes. In fact, there are many good reasons to choose renting over purchasing. To suggest that only property owners have the proper motivation to make the best choices for our government is foolish at best. To suggest that all renters spend their days living off the system is insulting. Our household income places us in the top 20% or better, and yet we rent our home. The only way we could turn a profit on a home in our region would be to invest in a home in need of renovation, and even then it would require that we remain in this area years longer than we plan to. If we are well informed enough to make such financial assessments, don’t you think we might be able to asses our politicians as well?

” I still teach them true history–not what is called “history” by the propaganda machines.”

Interesting statement. Please share a bit of what you consider “true history” and how you are qualified to make such an assumption.

      • Carl-Cathy Wisnesky

Kinetic1, We agree with you that it is wrong to have only property owners vote. How about we change that to only those who pay Federal Income tax can vote. Yes, we know you will say that everyone pays taxes in the form of sales tax, gas tax, use tax, cig tax, state income tax, etc., but we can have it so that only those who pay (and do not get back in a full refund) federal income tax can vote in federal elections (President & Congress). This can be done by having Senators & Representatives elected every 4 years with the President & if a voter has a net payment to the federal income tax for the previous 4 years of tax returns, he/she gets a card allowing them to vote for the federal candidates. Example: If one’s tax returns for 2007 to 2010 (filed in 2008 to 2011) show the total for those years resulted in tax being paid to the federal government, then in 2012, the person would get a card allowing them to vote for the federal candidates in November 2012. While we are at it, we should also have term limits for Congress; 2 four year terms seems about right, but definitely no more than 3. The above is just our thoughts on what might work better than the current system of 50% of the voters continuing to vote for candidates who will continue giving them federal handouts. There may be a better way, but definitely only those with skin in the game should be allowed to choose who runs our country.

I don’t want Obummer impeached, I want him tried for treason and thrown in jail. If impeached he can be pardoned, with treason and going to jail all of his appointees, laws and Executive orders will be null and void. We need to clean out and clean up this country. Then start on the legal status of everyone, the Muslim’s and Imams in this country and deport. They are in our local, state and Federal gov. positions where they can change our laws. In approx. 30 years they will out number the Constitutional Americans and Christian Americans that believe in this country.
