What Barack Obama Has In Common With The Gambino Crime Family

Hello. I’m Wayne Allyn Root for Personal Liberty. Can you guess who is the deadliest crime family in our country’s history? If you guessed the Gambinos, you’re wrong. It’s the Obama crime family. The Obama gang is killing jobs, strangling business, intimidating opponents, making the energy industry “sleep with the fishes” and wiping out the middle class.

Don Obama and his cronies are very much like the Gambino crime family — except the Gambinos were nicer. You see, the mafia almost never goes after “civilians.” They only intimidate, extort and kill other mobsters or “associates” active in the insular criminal world. If only Obama was that discriminating!

The Obama crime family goes after every taxpayer in America. Obama desperately needs your money, and he’ll stop at nothing to confiscate it. Whether it’s raising income taxes, payroll taxes, Obamacare taxes, online sales taxes or taking away exemptions and deductions, he’ll find a new and creative way to claim your money as his money.

How does Obama steal your money? Let me share a few highlights of Don Obama’s larceny in action.

First: through massive taxation and redistribution of wealth. Don Obama targets, hunts, demonizes, intimidates and punishes his best customers (business owners and high-income taxpayers). Even the Gambinos treated their best customers better than this.

But taxation is only the tip of the iceberg for the Obama crime family. They can rob widows and orphans blind without ever touching their income or bank accounts. The Obama crime family’s weapon of choice is the Federal Reserve. If Don Obama can’t get his hands on your money, he merely orders the Fed to print trillions in new dollars. That makes your life savings worthless. It threatens your retirement. It even threatens the financial future of your children and grandchildren.

All of those trillions of fake dollars printed by the Fed need to be repaid by future generations. That “Obama money” that props up the stock market — and pays for “free” Obama phones and “free” healthcare — isn’t actually “free.” It’s debt, and it all must be repaid by your kids.

Don Obama is a genius. He has enslaved your heirs to a life of misery, unimaginable debt and excessive taxation — even though some aren’t even born yet. That qualifies Don Obama as the meanest, most dastardly gangster who ever lived. No wonder babies cry upon taking their first breath. At the moment of birth, they owe more than $300,000.

This Don Obama is one bad-ass killer. Just last month, 660,000 Americans left the workforce. In one month! There are now 90 million able-bodied, working-age Americans no longer working. That’s almost one-third of the country’s population. The workforce participation rate is the lowest since 1979. For men, it’s the lowest since 1948. Don Obama has killed so many jobs that he should be on top of the FBI’s Most Wanted list.

But Don Obama also kills spirit. He overwhelms business owners with so many taxes and regulations that they live in despair and depression. Don Obama is a ruthless enforcer. He created 6,118 new government regulations in just the first 90 days of 2013. He is snuffing out the economy like a hit man.

Even worse, he is like a Gambino drug dealer. Except Don Obama’s drug of choice is entitlements. He has addicted the whole country to welfare, food stamps, disability, unemployment, free meals at school, housing allowances and free healthcare. He’s turned almost the whole population into addicts with their hands out, waiting for their “Obama money.” Even the Gambinos could never destroy the moral fabric of the whole country. Take notes, Mr. Gambino; this Don Obama is good.

But intimidation is Don Obama’s real calling card. Internal Revenue Service audits are up dramatically — specifically on small-business owners. Why? As bank robber extraordinaire Dillinger said, “That’s where the money is.” Obama smells money, and he must grab every last nickel. Even the Gambinos left a taste on the table. Not Obama. What’s yours is his.

As a bonus, since business owners write most of the checks for Republican candidates and conservative causes, Don Obama is slowly bankrupting his political opposition.

Then there’s the intimidation against “ratings agencies.” Standard & Poor’s downgraded the debt of America under Obama — for the first time in history. So guess what happened to poor Standard & Poors? A government indictment. Next, Egan-Jones downgraded America’s debt- twice. Can you guess what soon followed? A government indictment. Egan-Jones was recently sentenced with a big fine and banned from telling the truth about America’s finances for 18 months.

Were these indictments a coincidence? No more than if a business owner stops paying kickbacks to the mafia and suddenly winds up firebombed. These were messages — messages you can’t ignore (like a dead fish at your front door).

Then there’s Obamacare. The IRS predicts the typical family will soon pay $20,000 per year for healthcare. Since no one in this Obamageddon economy has $20,000 to spare, Don Obama will turn us all into wards of the state, dependent on government to pay for our healthcare.

But Don Obama saves his real mafia tactics for the energy industry. He despises oil, coal, nuclear and fracking. A true Marxist, Obama wants energy bills to go through the roof, so that we all need government handouts to survive. So he uses every trick in his book to destroy the energy producers — from Environmental Protection Agency regulations to executive orders. A Federal court recently threw out an Obama biofuel tax on the energy industry. It was quite simply unConstitutional. How did Obama respond? He doubled the tax. Don Obama takes killing to a whole new level.

Looking for the villain in America today? Look no further than the man ruining our economy and killing our country. The Obama crime family is in a league of its own.

My apologies for insulting the Gambinos by comparison.

After last week’s column? Go shoot yourself in the leg or something. Let that .223 high-power shell of yours tumble and turn, rip and tear, bounce off a stone and go back up the leg to do it again. Quit!!! Go back to assembling your “off-shore success” odds with your MBS,

    Gone yet? ‘Bye

    • rhcrest

Are you talking to Obama? If you’re talking to Mr. Root i notice that you have no argument to support that anything he said isn’t true. You are just attacking Mr. Root. Big Deal. Oh and don’t know if you saw my post from above but here it is-Wayne, you forgot to add that he is intentionally letting Islamic
terrorists in by the plane load and they are the ones who come to kill
us and our kids and literally rip out our legs and pull out our eyes –
that is what happened to the people at the Boston Marathon bombing.

      • Right Brain Thinker

Yes, Islamic terrorists by the planeload—-I go out to Dulles every day and watch them disembark—-they are greeted by the State Department, and each is given a bag of cash as they set foot on American soil—-and so is each of their four wives and all of their 17 (on average) kids.

I think we should start calling Wayne “Mr. Root Canal”, because reading his stuff is just about as painful. You say it’s true? Maybe in the alternate universe of delusion you live in but not here on Earth. Wayne Root Canal is a hack and an attention seeker, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a picture of him naked appearing next at the top of the page as he says “look at me!”

O’Bama and the Gambino crime family? Lord love a duck, but that is one sad and sorry premise.

        • rhcrest

Hey idiot brain thinker, are you aware that those terrorists got 100 thousand dollars worth of welfare benefits from the State of Massachusetts? And the Russians AND the Saudis were warning the US about these men and what did Obama do? Nothing. The number of students in this country from Saudi Arabia is around 100,000 compared to around 15,000 as recently as 2006. You know Saudi Arabia? The Country that gave us 15 of the 19 hijackers? ANd Obama is bringing in Somali muslims on a daily basis here. They are treated as refugees. People like you are responsible ultimately for the marathon bombing. Obama is tying the FBI’s ability to fight terrorism because of PC policies so as not to insult Islam. And spare me the 9/11 happened under Bush crap The bulk of planning for 9/11 happened under your buddy Clinton and Osama Obama was also caught during that time period but Clinton made the decision to let him go. And Bush kept us safe after 9/11 didnt’ he? A lot more than you can say for Osama obama

          • Right Brain Thinker

Idiot brain thinker? How clever! How childish!

And why do you lie? Is it because your so-called arguments are not good enough to stand on their own without “puffing up”? The numbers of Saudi students was around 35,000 last fall, according to several sources—-did we have 65,000 arrive in the last few months? Are you aware that a lot of folks think it’s a good thing that young Saudis are being exposed to America? And that it may help bring Saudi Arabia into the modern world when they go back?.

And Somalis are treated as refugees why? DUH! Because they ARE refugees, and are you aware that most Somalis are muslims?

I don’t have time to deal with all your foolishness—saying that “people like me are responsible for the marathon bombing” shows that you are drunk on the Kool Aid, and arguing with drunks is a waste of time.

          • rhcrest

Yes I am sure the family of the dead 8 year old with his now brain damaged mother and the people who lost body parts think that blowing gigantic holes in their lives was worth the sacrifice so that Saudi students could be exposed to America. Anything to help the Saudis. And why on earth should any American care about helping Somali refugees? So that they can come in and turn our country into the same third world crap hole that they came from? You people are truly sickening.

          • Right Brain Thinker

Get help with the Kool Aid problem, RH. The first step is recognizing you have a problem.

          • rhcrest

Notice no intelligent argument. Just a boring attack on me. Whatever.

          • Right Brain Thinker

No attack at all, RH, just some friendly advice from someone who cares about his fellow man. If you won’t do it for yourself, do it for your family—they would be glad to see a real person emerge from the cloud of addiction you live in.

          • rhcrest

No the people that have the problem are people like you who are willing to sacrifice the lives of innocent Americans, children even, just to satisfy your god of political correctness. You people are truly sickening

          • Mike in MI

            rhchrest –
I can’t and won’t agree with you on Wayne’s column from last week telling us all to just give up, take our $$$, businesses, abilities, expectations to rebuild freedom and not be on deck to reconstitute something out of the rubble that will be left by that bankers’ and gangsters’ house boy illegally occupying the W H and Offal Orifice ( that is what it is as long as he’s in it).

          • Flashy

And that number of how much gov’t aid they received came from where? Thin air?

BTW…as of January, 2013, there were a total of 71,000 Saudi’s in US colleges. A number which has been steady since 2005. (Dept of Ed)

9/11 planning? ya mean when Clinton told Bush, and Clinton’s staff told Bush’s staff, the most dangerous man in the world was Osama bin Laden and to watch him like a hawk? Snuff him if he could? Or when Bush lifted the trade and arms embargo on the Taliban in the summer of ’01 (AND resumed foreign aid monies to them!) ? An embargo Clinton had in place for a number of years because they weer harboring bin Laden?

And bin Laden was let go by Clinton? Good drugs eh?

          • rhcrest

Hey Flashy, i live in Massachusetts and that number came from our local media doing investigative journalism. Call them if you have a problem with the truth. If Clinton thought Osama Obama was so dangerous then why did he let him go? Why did he let the terrorists get away with all that planning done under Clinton’s watch?

        • Mike in MI

Plane load, Brainless Thinker? It only took two, maybe five. to take down Boston and its urbs for a week.
Then, if that wasn’t enough, the Obomber, acting unilaterally shut down airlines and airports by furloughing the Air Traffic Controllers when he should have sequestered a hundred other activities but wanted to make America hurt and make stupid people think the Congress caused it.
Now, that’s real leadership from the house boy for the traitor unionists.

          • Right Brain Thinker

Wake up, MIke—-I was making fun of rh’s ridiculous comment about “planeloads”. Of course it only takes a few as you say, but rh wants to stir things up and paint Muslims with the “bad” brush, so he exaggerates.

I’m glad that you got to throw in some anti-O”Bama “talking points” here, even though they were TOTALLY irrelevant. Nice free-form parroting.

    • Bob666

      HI MI Mike,

do you read this crap before you hit the post button? I hope that you have to recite it word for word before your maker one day!

      What Hypocrisy!

  • peter

Nothing in common here at all! They are exactly the same. No difference, from stealing, corruption, lies, destruction of anyone who stands in their way, there is no difference. These are probably the two greatest con men in history and I am afraid that the President of the US of A has conned the majority of the American people unbelievably and they are too comatosed to understand that!
The time to wake up is nigh!

    • Jeff

[comment has been edited] Who exactly got conned? If you want to talk about a great con job, take a look at the selling of the Iraq War. But that wouldn’t fit your narrative. Better to talk about the socialist bent on destroying the economy when the Dow just hit 15,000. I know, I know. It’s meaningless. But if it happened under a right wing President, you’d be calling for an addition to Mt. Rushmore. [comment has been edited]

  • Dotherightthing

He has the media in his pocket and half the country on entitlements. Its going to be hard to uproot this political scum. Its hard to believe anybody with any intelligence would reelect this scumbag.

$2 trillion “phony assets” in a SSI fund that should have well over $100 trillion at current SSI tax levels. (AG) Holder blocks voter citizenship requirements to allow multiple voting & alien votes. Napolitano & Holder protect illegal invaders & inviting more to come in & join the free $$$. Perhaps, 23 million criminal invaders displace 23 million citizens from their jobs – If cost of 12 million is $1 trillion then 23 million is $1.9 trillion!

Perjury, sedition, & treason & our corrupt legislature DOES NOTHING! YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS CRAP UP!

Honestly, it’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. The government has helicopters and that proves all your sinister accusations are true? Obama is a dictator? On what planet? Here on Earth, specifically in the U.S., he has to ask Congress for permission to take a dump. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Hitler disband Parliament? Do you see the difference? On any level do you realize how crazy you sound?

          • Liberty Lover

So what is your explanation, Jeff, for Obama’s statement that he needs a national civilian police force equal in size and power to the natiion’s military in order to provide national security? (July 2, 2008 in Colorado Springs) Sounds a lot like an SS force to me.

          • Jeff

But in the intervening 41/2 years, have you seen any actual evidence of such a force? I mean in this dimension – not on Glenn Beck or Alex Jones!

          • Liberty Lover

No, I haven’t YET! If it was a trial balloon, it was not well received and he did need to get re-elected. I HAVE seen very troubling reports of a massive build-up of weaponry at DHS that Congress has belatedly begun to investigate (even though your boss claims to have no idea what they are talking about). There are also widespread reports of DHS trying to co-opt local police forces around the country.
All he needs now is an economic collapse (within his power to precipitate at any time), leading to civil unrest and martial law, an emergency suspension of the US Constitution, and the right words to persuade us that he is our savior rather than the destroyer of our cherished American way of life. I’ll bet he has the script already written.
It’s not the first time nor the last, I’m sure, but you never answered my question. What is your explanation for his statement?

          • Jeff

Have it your way. Believe WTF you want to! Most people think you’re off your rocker. Obama is similar to Hitler in that both are biological creatures. Like you’re similar to a cheetah, just a wee bit slower. There the similarities end. If you want to pretend otherwise, be my guest. Obama is exactly like all the worst people in history beginning with Cain. How do we KNOW Obama didn’t have a brother he slew?

          • Liberty Lover

Not a very graceful concession speech, Jeff, but I’ll accept it as acknowledgment that there is no politically correct way to interpret Obama’s remarks of July 2, 2008 (and especially not in the context of a massive build-up of weaponry at DHS).
I don’t know “most people.” You evidently think you do. I’d be willing to bet, though, that if we were having a debate before an objective apolitical audience, you’d be laughed off the stage by now.
As for Obama’s hypothetical brother, if he stood in the way of Barack’s political ambitions, there’s probably a good reason we’ve never heard about him and have no idea where the body is buried.

          • Jeff

I think there are federal agents in your back yard as we speak. You better go check. I don’t want to keep you. Besides, I have an appointment back on Planet Earth. See you around.

          • Liberty Lover

I don’t expect to see the federal agents until your boss has given up hope of capturing the House in 2014. That gives me about two years to make my peace with God and prepare for the tortures Obama would never inflict on a fellow muslim but would gladly inflict on an American political opponent.

          • Jeff

Who would be the Judge doing the laughing? Bill Buckley? Elaine?

          • Liberty Lover

The world would be laughing at your inadequacy, Jeff, if only they all were tuned in.

          • Liberty Lover

Very few people have heard of the two openly gay members of Wright’s church who were allegedly sexual partners of Obama and who were murdered execution style just as the Democratic primary was taking off in 2007. Most people are naive enough to believe that the death of Andrew Breitbart at the time he had promised to release devastating evidence against Obama was due to natural causes, even though a forensics expert at the coroner’s office was murdered by arsenic poisoning at the time the coroner’s opinion was released. Obama need not have murdered a hypothetical brother to qualify as the head of one truly despicable crime syndicate.

          • Jeff

I don’t suppose it’s ever occurred to you that he was talking about forms of power that don’t involve dropping bombs on people. He was talking about young people volunteering to teach in poor countries, to assist in economic development, etc. Like a revitalized Peace Corps. I know how similar to the SS that appears to you, but trust me, as a member in good standing of the Sane Americans Organization, they’re nothing alike. [COMMENT HAS BEEN EDITED]

          • Liberty Lover

Have you no shame or integrity whatsoever, Jeff? This latest comment by you is a blatant dissembance. I’m well aware that he talked about a revitalized Peace Corps (or Corpse, as he might have expressed it) at the same time he made his separate statement about the need for a civilian security force equal to our military. There’s not a chance in the world that I would equate those two things AND YOU KNOW IT! I’m pretty sure that arming DHS to the teeth is not so they can create holes in which to plant flowers, trees and vegetables in third-world countries.
If YOU are the one conflating those two statements by Obama, I hope someone at the Sane Americans Organization takes note and immediately cancels your membership.
So can we try one more time to get from you an honest interpretation of Obama’s comment about needing a domestic security force on a par with our military?

        • podunk1

Wrong Flash! Both democrats and republicans are lying & conniving. If you roll it back, lots of embarrassment, exposure, & varying degrees of potential severe punishment.

The only happy people are progressives who are working 365/yr to destroy this country. We are bankrupt, but this nation can and will defeat the enemy within & resurrect this country as we did in WWI & WWII, if we reindustrialize and move with deliberation!

      • Chester

SSI has NO fund. It is drawn directly from general revenue. As far as the social security fund, most of that is invested where the law establishing social security ordered it to be invested, in government grade bonds or equivalent. Treasury bonds and bills ARE equivalent to government bonds, so that is where a large part of the social security fund is. Also, a good part of what comes in goes right back out to make the monthly payments, again, as designed and directed.

        • podunk1

An annuity using Gov avg wage @$43,500, FICA @ 12.4%, net ROI 5%, 46yr. work (18/65) & 13 yr payback
          @5%ROI (65/78)… you get $963,005 at age 65 & $100,891/yr to age 78 for a total payback of $1,311,588!

One is participating 60 out of 78 average years – 77% of the time. If average balance is 1/2 the fund would
contain 38.5%. If fully funded @ 315 million people the fund would be $413 trillion, $159 trillion @38.5% and if only 1/2 half of that qualified, $79.5 Trillion (a mere 19.25%)!

Total SSI benefits with disabled, spouses, widows, & children is 141.8% of retiree benefits. Because the average annuity benefit $100,891 is 6.8 times greater than the SSI average of $14,820, we know this is a
criminal Ponzi scheme! SSI tax deposit funds are noted as receipts into the “trust fund” and funneled directly into the general fund in the Obama-Bernenake-Geitner Laundromat where more funny money is added. “Funny” consumption bonds (IOMES) are issued and the money flies out the window! If one looks at the CPI Index and runs a reverse ROI inflation-devaluation survey – and finds a 1966 dollar is worth 14 cents in 2011, you’ll understand more about how the printing presses work for thieves at the expense of retirees, taxpayers, and morality!

Imagine, 3 to 4 workers, each busting butt to pay 6.8 times too much for a retirement guarantee “trust fund” that funnels almost all of their deposits off to pay ONE EXISTING RETIREE, who was told the same thing!

Go back to basics! A 13 year $1,311,588 total payback for 46 yearly $5,394 savings ($248,124) is a 5.29 fold return at a mere 5%! It’s GONE!!! You’re not a millionaire! (That;s the rewards of “real capitalism” ) You’re a pauper forced to be supported by 3 to 4 of your unsuspecting neighbors! It’s the cost of a corrupt government that deceives and loots instead of preserves and protects. When 13 million citizens realize they’ve been had and can prosecute and punish to the fullest extent of law two or three hundred treasonists in high office… this woeful nation will return to its glory!

The scam is $100 plus trillion based on the specific purpose tax rate. The illusion is a 5% ROI, and the pretext of a full fledged “trust fund” & “trustee”. A $2 trillion “asset” claim & cash flow says it’s the crime of history to date! It is beyond reasonable doubt and beyond any reasonable question of materiality mandate! One could and should run an actuarial analysis with a criminal assessment – not that hard to do if one has the time & a hand full of honest independent people! Oath bound officials have that obligation and required resources.

    • mark

But intelligent people did reelect President Obama in huge numbers to prevent ugly haters like yourself from exercsing any real political power in America. Thanks, they succeeded in that.

      • mnkysnkle

Are those “huge numbers” kinda like the “90%” bogus quotes coming from the oval office? When only 35% of the registered voters voted, and only 50.5% of them voted for the big zero, that’s not “huge” by any definition. Let’s not mention the voter fraud and the corrupt voting machines which in California alone accounted for over 1 million fraudulent votes cast for the “democrat”. Stated in a press release from the California election commission, “The margin he won by was so close, the fraudulent votes were enough to change the outcome of the election.” NO, the intelligent people did not elect him, (You don’t have to be intelligent to be dishonest). By the way W.A.R. Keep it up. You can tell you hit a nerve when you get all the SHILLS coming together to attack you in “force”. They do the same thing to Bob’s articles! :)

        • http://www.facebook.com/shirley.hall.71868 Shirley Hall

It’s interesting that every time the Repugs lose an election, they yell “ELECTION FRAUD.” While all the tme, they are planning ways to prohibit citizens from voting.

          • Nadzieja Batki

You just blathered. Citizens are not prohibited from voting, but citizens have the responsibility of being honest. You seem to have a problem with honesty.

          • vicki

Just for amusement, name ONE thing that you think republicans are planning to prohibit citizens from voting. Just one.

          • Conrad Wawrzyczny

Making it so hard for people to vote they think they will give up that is the republican idea, I think it back fired on them this time.

          • mnkysnkle

You can tell I’m a republican by my statement above? WOW!!! That’s rich!! I’ve been on the losing side of the elections ever since 1970. Can you tell me what being a republican has to do with that? Even wayyyyyy back then I knew it was a ONE(1) party politburo, they‘re both guilty. If you are unaware of election fraud, could it be that you are just waking up? Or maybe you just don’t hear about it from your “liberal” news sources as they will only report fraud if the republicans are caught, and….well…. I guess none have been caught this time around heh? Yes, I believe they are both guilty, but the “minion media” is not going to tell you that your votes are being manipulated.

        • Bob666

          Yo Milktoast,
the percentages that one finds on the web will show a bias on the agenda of the website. Fox is no more accurate than MSNBC and I am sure there is a more liberal website that reports more opposite data than the pundits on this web site. The truth is generally in the middle and I might remind you that one of the pundits on this site said that Romney would win by a “landslide”.

Its all done in stages: We are in…

      Stage Four: Organization

Genocide is always carried out by the government. They often using militias to provide deniability of state responsibility, but genocide is always state sponsored.

At this stage, plans are made for genocidal killings. Do we have such plans in the United States? Why yes we do!

The Eight Unfolding Stages of the Great American Genocide
      http://www.thecommonsenseshow.com/2013/05/02/the-eight-unfolding-stages-of-the-great-american-genocide-part-1/

“In 1996 Gregory H. Stanton presented a briefing paper to the State Department which included the eight stages of genocide. Stanton postulated that genocide is a process that is predictable, but is not necessarily a linear process. The stages of genocide do unfold in both a predictable and chronological order. Further, earlier stages continue to operate even as the process continues to progress.

Stanton identifies the eight stages as classification, symbolization, dehumanization, organization, polarization, preparation, extermination and denial. Subsequently, I researched where America is at in reference to these eight stages. The following paragraphs are the result my research.”

I don’t suppose you’d care to explain what stage of “genocide” we’re in currently and who are the anticipated victims.

We need to start calling the leftist liberal democrat party what they are. THEY ARE THE COMMUNIST PARTY.
IF THE REPUBLICANS WANT TO KEEP THE HOUSE AND TAKE BACK THE SENATE THEN THEY NEED TO ENLIST AMERICANS INTO THE FIGHT AGAINST COMMUNISM.
They Republican party is the party holding the line for freedom in our country. They are Our Freedom Fighters!
These are drastic times. Very serious and REPUBLICANS NEED TO BE THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS AGAINST THE obama COMMUNIST PARTY.
When the Republicans go on the air they need to expose these liberals for what they are THE COMMUNIST PARTY.

question? Does it take a long time to Impeach a President?

Clinton was impeached, but not convicted. Impeaching a president is the same as charging you or me with a crime. It takes a conviction to do anything with the charges, or to impose any penalty.

        • mark

8 years and 1 day. The hapless Republican Party will no doubt start impeachment hearings against Obama the day after he leaves office. And then they will fail to get the measure out of committee.

          On what grounds?

    • Liberty Lover

The more appropriate comparison is with the National Socialist Party.

      • mark

Yes, of course, except the Obama adminstration has not rounded up tens of millions of Jews and Slavs and put them to death in labor and death camps, He also has not launched invasions with millions of troops and thousands of tanks to conquer dozens of free, neighboring countries and touch off a World War that killed 60 million human beings. Obama has also not, after only one month in office, as the National Socialists Party did, outlaw the right of free speech, all opposition political parties, all future elections, all independent media, and all rights to public protest. Obama has also not rounded up and assassinated all members of his political oppostion, as the Nazi Party did in 1934 in the Night of the Long Knives purge. (He in fact recently invited prominent Republican senators to dine with him at the White House). But you’re right, except for these minor differences, the Obama administration is exactly like the National Socialist Party.

        • Liberty Lover

Not “exactly like,” though Obama frequently chafes at the Constitutional limitations on his powers and would like to severely limit most of those various individual rights you mention. My comment referred only to the methods by which Obama seeks to control the American economy. He realizes that it is not necessary for the state to own the means of production (communism) as long as it can gradually assume control of the means of production and force producers to implement his socialist programs. As for his gracious entertaining of a select few Republican legislators, that was very much a part of his strategy for fracturing (thereby effectively eliminating) any opposition to his socialist goals.

Not every leader of a socialist party becomes a Hitler, but most seem to have that desire for total control.

          • http://www.facebook.com/shirley.hall.71868 Shirley Hall

What do you make of the famous “conspiracy” of the Republicans on the night of President Obama’s inaugauration to swear that the Republicans will prohibit any action that the President wants to do so that “he will become a one-term president.” Didn’t work out like that, did it?

          • Liberty Lover

The country will be paying the price for a shallow, miseducated electorate for a very long time!

        • Jeff

LL’s analogies don’t actually have to make sense; they just need to sound good to the Neanderthals who think he sounds like a smart guy. But there are similarities between Obama and Hitler – they both eat/ate vegetables and they both like(d) puppies. Close enough for LL.

          • JeffH

Alarming similiarities between Adolf Hitler &
            Barack Hussein Obama.

            • Both Hitler and Obama held rallies in outdoor stadiums to excite and inflame the people’s passions. Frequently women would faint or break into tears.

•Both Hitler and Obama wrote ghost-written autobiographies prior to the start of theri run for political
office. Hitler wrote Mein Kampf (My Struggle), and Obama wrote Dreams Of My Father. Both men then wrote a second book talking about their goals
for German and America. Hitler wrote A New World Order, and Obama wrote The Audacity of Hope.

•Both Hitler and Obama originally had last names that were changed later in life. Hitler used to be Schickelbruber, and Obama’s last name was Soetoro.

•Both Hitler and Obama hid their real identies. Hiter had a jewish ancestry, and Obamaa Muslim one. But unlike Hitler, Obama flaunted his Muslim roots in his start as a politician in order to defuse the inevitable firestorm. His ploy of “hiding in plain sight” worked very well.

•Both Hitler and Obama’s supporters followed them blindly, and without question

•Both Hitler and Obama used political power and
coercion to conceal and hide their birth certificates from coming to public view. Hitler made his disappear, and Obama is unwilling and unable to produce his long-form birth certificate. (a fraudulant BC was posted on the WG website)

•Both Hitler and Obama advocate using young people as a driving force to create an “army” of youth dedicated to their Ideals. Hitler had his Hitler Youth, and Obama hisObama Youth Brigade.

•Both Hitler and Obama were known for their
            tremendous oratorical skills

•Both Hitler and Obama received Messianic comparisons, and both men had songs of adoration written about them and for them.

•Like Hitler, Obama rules in direct disregard to
the will and wishes of the people.

•Like Hitler, Obama has an obvious distaste for
the Jews, and sides with the Muslims every chance he
            gets.

•Both Hitler and Obama were able to mezmerize
the people even when it was obvious that what they were saying was not true.

•Both Hitler and Obama used domestic terrorists
to launch their careers. Hitler had his Brown Shirts from his beer hall days, and Obama had people like Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, and Rashid Khalidi.

•Like Hitler, Obama advocates using murder(abortion) as a means of population control.
Feel free to dispute any of them.

          • Bob666

I must admit that Friday nights are more funny reading your post.

            Let’s see,

“Like Hitler, Obama has an obvious distaste for
the Jews, and sides with the Muslims every chance he
gets”. While Hitler rose and fell just before I was born, My dad spent four years in Europe during WWII and had a lot of stories regarding Hitler and Nazi Germany including the liberation of camps (POW & Gas), but Muslims never came up in his stories.

Would this have been Obama’s great paternal grand-father? Was he a community organizer in Nazi -Germany? I am sure that you will provide some amusing “facts”.

            Do tell……………………..

        • rhcrest

He did take control of our health system, same as Hitler. Hitler had T-4 panels and Obama has his death panels which we will all be subject to eventually. What better way to control a person than to control their health care and literally hold their life in your hands. He is trying desperately in any way he can to take away our guns. He is inundating businesses with truckloads of regulations so that they go out of business just as Hitler did. And his party eliminated God from the schools and public life. Hitler did that but Obama’s party already did it for him. Oh and as far as assassinating his opponents – google obama’s dead pool. And as far as rounding up people, give him time. Hitler didn’t start off doing that either. It’s called incrementalism. But yeah you’re right, there’s no similarity at all.

      • Jeff

When you next have tea with Elaine (and Jesus), you can discuss whether Obama should more properly be compared with Al Capone (Chicago after all) or Hitler. I’m sure it will be a most enlightening conversation. Honestly, has your brain turned entirely to mush?

        • Liberty Lover

          Kindred spirits; different limitations.

          • Jeff

I could say the same of you. You’d obviously trade money for human life. (I assume your kids are grateful the offer was never made.) It’s fortunate for all of us you are limited to blogging right wing nonsense and have no power to turn us into a Third World sweat shop.

          • Liberty Lover

One of the problems I’ve had with Ayn Rand is her obsessive focus on money as the measure of success in life. One of the great things about freedom in America is the ability to decide individually on which values to give primacy in your life. I’ve tried strongly to make those inevitable trade-offs in favor of being the best possible husband and dad. Your despicable comment above doesn’t surprise me in the least (though it does deserve to be removed from this board). You are further proof that those who work for Obama (and I believe you are compensated by his forces to post left-wing nonsense on a board devoted to ideas anathema to you elitists) have virtually no scruples. And in case you haven’t noticed, yours is the party whose concern for human life ends at the door of the abortion doctor. How about doing some research for us, Jeff, and comparing the loss of human life at Triangle with the slaughter of innocents through abortion.

    • Bill

      Amen

Gail, here’s a news flash. It’s not 1950 and nobody’s buying that nonsense anymore. We have a mixed economy as does virtually every other country on Earth. If you insist on screaming “Commie!” every time the Government does something other than wage dumb wars, all you’re doing is announcing your own stupidity.

    • http://www.facebook.com/shirley.hall.71868 Shirley Hall

Do you have proof of these “plane loads of Islamic terrorists?

      • rhcrest

Look around at the country. Do some research. Look at Dearborn Michigan. The place has turned into a no go zone. Do you know what that means? Hint: muslims only have no go zones when there are enough of them to create one. There are other cities in Tennessee which are being overrun by Muslims – their names escape me at the moment. It has been a long day. Obama is their best buddy and he is doing all he can to help them. I have read about his refugee plan in the past and i am sure you can find out about it if you google it.

  • Red55bird

In 2006 and 2007 the Media was painting George Bush as the evil one in the White House, and the young people listen and believe what Liberal Media was saying about George Bush. Now we have this Communities’ organizer who really was a good talker come along who hated Capitalism and the free market system, got himself on the Presidential Democrat ticket and lied his way into office. Now in his second term America will see the real Obama as not the real nice guy, but as the Marxist Socialist that he is, oh yes his fundamental transformation of America will be complete and the people will awaken only to fine out they will be to late to save America. Yes you were fooled America by this liar in chief and you will witness pain and suffering in the coming years, and you will ask for Gods help, for the Devil is Barack Obama.

Why be so hung up on the President? I mean, he only represents 1/3 of our government. The other 2/3rds are the congress and the judiciary. And how many here really think that the Prez gets everything he wants? And what does he Really want?
Mr. Root just want’s to kick a hornets nest and then say “it was the hornets fault I got stung!” What a pathetic looser. Nobody here complained when W created the largest federal agency in the history of America (Homeland Security), or when the “Patriot Act” was rushed through a terrified congress (terrified NOT by terrorists, but VOTERS.) And then, to what seemed like at the time, a swift victory over W’s daddy-killer. Bombing innocent people in the middle of the night. Microwaving whole families with radar dishes pointed at their house. Untold billions of dollars spent to try and hedge the oil market.

Oh yea. Obama is the evil one alright. He only wanted to build schools in America. He wanted Americans to survive this Republican created depression. And he want’s young people to have a future, not a bitter clinging to the past.

Just face it. The majority of American voters were not fooled. They were being responsible and chose a candidate who stood for REAL AMERICAN VALUES.

    • hippybiker

KG, you do know that the national debt now stands at over 17 trillion dollars. GW has been out of office for going on 5 years. Blaming him is getting kind of stale, Troll.

        Ergo?

      • KG

How much will we have to spend on our crippled, deformed, mentally unstable Veterans? From a war that was completely unnecessary? Well, if you want to see the 70’s again, with mass homeless veterans. But, that’s OK. The right wing has been abandoning Veterans since the Revolution. So, doesn’t THAT make you feel all “warm and fuzzy?”

        • Right Brain Thinker

Actually, KG, veterans were treated pretty well back in the days of the Revolution—-pensions and the respect of their countrymen, etc. But then we didn’t have much of a right wing, plutocracy, or corporate oligarchy back then—-just one group—–Americans.

          • KG

Please explain the absurdity of Valley Forge. Southern states didn’t want to finance the Army even though they were benefiting from their struggle. So, they did the same thing that Rumsfeld has done to the veterans by making their benefits just that much harder to get. BTW, that’s why people hate Unions. They like the good wages and benefits, but don’t feel the need to support the organization that was responsible for those good wages.

Can you see why Union members would be so upset about that?

          • Right Brain Thinker

Valley Forge was mistreatment of the troops while they were on active duty, not when they became “vets”. I won’t bother to look it up, but I do remember reading that the country had some “pangs of conscience” after the war and tried to do the right thing.

One thing that many fail to notice (or want to deny) is that O’Bama did a lot to improve care for the vets very early in his first term. Way more in just a few months than Bush and the war profiteers did in 8 whole years.

          • momo

It wasn’t the “southern states”, it was the continental congress that didn’t want to finance the army. And they weren’t “vets”, they were on active duty.

          • KG

A continental congress dominated by conservatives from the south. Sorta like congress today.

      • Right Brain Thinker

No, Steve, what is getting kind of stale is the denial by folks like you who refuse to accept that Reagan and Bush are mainly responsible for the debt problem. The numbers have been pointed out to you many times, as well as the fact that things are leveling off under O’Bama, but you’re too busy mindlessly repeating the same old horsepucky. Parrot.

        • hippybiker

So what you are saying is that Obama has not raised the national debt 9 trillion dollars in just over 4 years. Talk about denial. But, you just keep blaming it on Bush and a dead man named Regan.

          • Right Brain Thinker

Like I said, no sense arguing with a drunk. You need to stop looking on the sites of the circular firing squad, Steve. All they do is repeat the same lies until fools like you think they’re the truth and parrot them. And although Regan had his hand in there, it’s Reagan I’m talking about—-he started it all and is more to blame than Bush

          • Bob666

            Yo RBT,

Rush said it, he believes it and that settles it.

Wow you talk about REAL AMERICAN VALUES MY God man what in the world our you talking about Troll. We have 90 million without work 17 trillion in dep’t more then 50 million on food stamps, a Government printing 85 billion dollar’s each month that we really don’t have in hopes of getting unemployment down, KG if you truly believe Marxist Socialism works with bigger Government, then your a bigger loser then Barack Obama is.

      • KG

Well, if your bidness buddies didn’t all decide to “go Galt” at the same time, we might have an economy. But, as long as the people with the money just “sit on it,” the longer our country is going to suffer. That’s why “da gubmint” needs to be the “spender of last resort.” And that’s why tax cuts never help. When you give rich people tax cuts, that just makes them lazy. “Hey, why should I risk my money hiring new workers. With tax cuts, all I have to do is “kick back” and just keep mo money to myself.”

        • Red55bird

There you go again about the Rich not paying their taxes, when Ronald Reagan cut taxes for small business Reagan got 27 million people back to work. President Obama raise taxes on small business and we have 90 million unemployed.

          • Flashy

There ya go again RH…displaying lack of knowledge. here…with the exception of this current President, who came to office when we were bleeding 1 millin jobs lost a month…

12.1 percent: Job growth in the nearly 32 years of
Democratic presidents since President Truman took office in April 1945, with the addition of 57.7 million jobs.

6.5 percent: Job growth in the 36 years of Republican presidents during the same time, with the addition of 34.6 million jobs.

Fact….since Truman, Reagan administration places…wow…behind every Democrat administration but Carter..who hit the post ‘Nam recession and an oil crisis head on and this administration…hitting the job losses gifted by conservative policies.

Wanna talk about wage growth and GOP administrations?

          • KG

Ronald Reagan only cut taxes once. But he raised taxes on the “working Class” by eliminating most of the deductions that workers could claim, thereby RAISING taxes.
Just face the facts. Reagan was NOT the hero you guys want to make him. For most working folks (union members) he is “the Great Satan.”

          • Flashy

Red….just for your own knowledge. reagan had his 1981 tax cut…which was substantial. then, in 1982, he had the largest tax increase measured in constant dollars or as a % of GDP since 1968. And those increases fell almost 100% on the Middle Class. Thus, the most massive wealth redistribution was underway…the rich got subsidized and the Middle Class started to get whacked…both in taxes to pay for the largesse showered upon the upper 1% as well as the stagnation in earnings.

And, FYI, according to statistics at the Dept of Commerce and the Census Bureau, Reagan’s eight years ranks third since 1980 in the number of small businesses. Clinton in his eight years is #1 in the number of small businesses, Prsident Obama in his 4 plus years is number two. yes…that is correct…in a little more than half the years, this administration has been in charge when there was a larger number of small businesses than reagan in his eight.

Chew on them facts for awhile

        • Betta

That made absolutely no sense whatsoever. Looks like you’re spinning in circles.

Hey KGB, who is it that renewed the Patriot Act and also gave us the NDAA?

      • KG

How many homeless government workers do you want in you backyard?

And the NDAA is something that’s been around since Eisenhower. Loosing our freedoms was OK to fight the Soviets, but not the terrorists?

        • rhcrest

Hey KGB: How many homeless Americans from the private sector do you want in your backyard? From your buddies at the ACLU: In December 2011, President Obama signed the 2012 NDAA, codifying indefinite military detention without charge or trial into law for the first time in American history. The NDAA’s dangerous detention provisions would authorize the president — and all future presidents — to order the military to pick up and indefinitely imprison people captured anywhere in the world, far from any battlefield. The ACLU will fight worldwide detention authority wherever we can, be it in court, in Congress, or internationally.

          • KG

Yes. the NDAA – that was hand crafted by Rumsfeld and Chenny as well as Wolfowitz. All Republicans.

What if we gave Habeus Corpus to the GITMO detainees? Just like the Vietnamese fishermen in Texas and Louisiana, we could have Afghans farming poppies in the heart of Texas. Now, wouldn’t that be nice?

      • Flashy

Hey rhcrest….how little knowledge do you want to display? President Obama signed a renewal of two parts of the UnPatriot Act…that’s it…two parts. Roving wiretaps allowing suspects to be traced via cell phones and laptops etc…and the ability to subpeona business records where suspected terrorists are involved. Both require court approval and a showing of cause.

That’s it Sparky…bereft of knowledge are you?

The NDAA you reference? ummmm…know how many presidents before Pres. Obama signed the same identical directive? Do you know what the directive says?

You are the exact problem we face today. Led by fear, needing to be angry at “them”, isoltaed and ignorant.

        • rhcrest

Come on, RH. You know we have to fill all those FEMA camps or all the $$$ that we spent on them will be wasted. And don’t forget that they will be eventually “privatiized”, so that your masters can make money off them. Maybe you can get a job as a guard at one. What’s not to like here?

(And listen to Flash rather than sit there mindlessly chanting the Kool Aid mantra. You will get “smarter” if you do)

          • Flashy

Ahhh…you are speaking about the updates of the NDAA since 2001. The part that states ““a person who was a part of or substantially supported al-Qaeda, the
Taliban, or associated forces that are engaged in hostilities against
the United States or its coalition partners.”

Or would that be the part that clarifies it applies to the militaary and not the FBI, etc …”the authority for the Armed Forces of the United States to detain covered persons.””

Or are you referring to the the amendment to the original NDAA which states that the amednments are authorized by Congress in the 2001 Authroization to Use Military Force (AUMF) “That the President is authorized to use all necessary and appropriate
force against those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001,
or harbored such organizations or persons, in order to prevent any
future acts of international terrorism against the United States by such
            nations, organizations or persons.”

Now…which President since Eisenhower did not have this NDAA signed at the beginning of each term? And which amending language are you protesting?

You can say whatever you want on the Internet- except slander. I am a business speaker at events across the globe. A highly paid one. I speak for a company called Wealth Masters as well. I am hired 4 times a year to be keynote speaker at their events. They are a fine company with an excellent reputation. At their events person after person talks about how the company changed their life. These people are from over 100 countries. ONE single country which is basically socialist…with a hatred for anyone that makes money…banned them for the crime of making money in Norway. Over 100 other countries welcome them with open arms- including the USA. Not a single blemish on their record. I’ve met happy members from Japan, Australia, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Denmark- they are a fine company. The fact that one socialist country didn’t like the capitalist way of doing business doesn’t effect their business in any way. Who cares? Norway obviously hates America and American values. If Wealth Masters is bad in Norway eyes, so is every company now operating successfully in America.

So let me get this straight- if Wayne Root speaks at conventions for a successful company…and that company is based in over 100 countries with a perfect record…and one socialist country doesn’t like them making money…but they have a PERFECT record in the USA and 100+ countries…I’m a bad person for speaking at their events? Really? Boy are you members of the Obama socialist cabal desperate!

Lastly some diot put on the Internet that I was mentioned in Norway’s finding. I’m not involved with the company in any way other than being hired as the keynote speaker at events 4 times a year. I’m not an owner…partner…principal…officer…even executive. I am not involved in management of the company in any way. I’ve never seen nor heard of any Norway finding…but my educated guess is it says my name once in an 800 page document as “a famous American celebrity speaker who speaks at their conventions.” The finding wasn’t about me…had nothing to do with me in any way…is not on my record in any way. I’ve never seen it…nor have I ever been to Norway in my life.

So please stop slandering me. You may disagree politely with my politics anytime you want. But if you continue to slander me or my business or my career, I will pursue legal action. Unless you have a single fact to back up your lies and slander…and $250,000 for lawyers to defend…I’d advise you stop slandering my name. You’ve been warned Galt.

            Have a nivce day.

            Best Wishes,

            Wayne

Do you need a tissue? Quit your whining. You are good for comedy and not much else. GALT must have hit a nerve. You can sure dish it out Wayne but you can take it.

    • Right Brain Thinker

      GALT,

Tried to access this one and “winky duck” and couldn’t get them to come up. Got a “404” on “winky” and a “page does not exist” on shakaama.

Have you updated your list of “Wayne Allun Root Canal is a Charlatan” sources lately? These two appear to be dead.

      • Karolyn

I read the “winky” one last week.

    • Wayne Allyn Root

      Galt,

You live in a delusional dream state. Yes I’m a capitalist businessman. Yes I’ve had over 3 million clients and counting. My record is PERFECT. Unblemished. The fact that 10 people in history…on the anonymous Internet…without disclosing their names…attack me and slander me is nothing ore than a joke. You just keep repeating lies you read on the Internet from nameless sources.

You lefties are all the same. You don’t even know the definition of slander. My attacking Obama’s policies and beliefs is not slander. It’s politics. You attack me personally…with lies and unsourced innuendo. That’s slander. In a court of law you lose. You are so bold Galt. Easy to say call your lawyer. What’s your name big shot? Care to proint name and address publicly right here. I’ll have my attorney contact immediately.

In the meantime good luck with your pathetic lies. 3 million customers and counting. In one of my dozen careers. And a PERFECT unblemished record. I repeat- PERFECT. You keep quoting the 10 anonymous liars on the Internet jealous of my success. I can quote their complaints. Even though they are anonymous I can tell from their wording that 8 of the 10 I’ve read are jealous competitors of mine spreading lies. Maybe they should work for a living and try to actually achieve success instead of trying to rip others much more successful than them down.

Thats how America works. Sorry Galt. You lose. Slander doesn’t make you famous or rich or special.

It just makes you a loser with nothing in life to do on a Thursday afternoon.

Get a job. I’m done responding. I have 16 media interviews today. I’m just a little busy.

But I’m waiting to see your real name and address.

      Sad.

      • Karolyn

Wow! The great man has deigned to respond to someone. Must be hitting a nerve.

yo Wayne Allen Root…i’ve nothing to hide. Want to meet and i’ll tell you straight to your face in front of as many thousands you want…what you write has little semblance to truth and is not with honor. I’ll tell you in front of as many as you want face to face your prediction of aa Romney landslide…not once, but twice, was ludicrous and i stated so both occasions. i’ll stand with you in front of as many as you desire mr. Root…Not a problem. You support your contentions you have made on PLD…I’ll point ‘em out and refute them one by one.

We can even put it on TV and we’ll both make a small fortune in the ratings. Anytime…let me know, i’ll be available.

      • Bob666

        Yo Wayne,

It has been my observation and experience that people who claim to be PERFECT, tend to be far from PERFECT. In fact, I am not aware of anyone in the business world that can make such a claim.

Having read much of your work over the past couple of years, I am pretty sure that you are not in a position to make the claim of PERFECT in any of your endeavours.

Libertarian embarrassment Wayne Allyn Root has long promoted an MLM (multi-level marketing) company called Wealth Masters International (WMI).

    • Right Brain Thinker

Oh me, oh my! Wayne Allen Root Canal seems to be such a disreputable person! Is he really doing all these bad things? Hustling and “ripping off”?

If so, why does Bob LIvingston allow him to write “articles” for PLD? Isn’t Bob worried about “guilt by association”?

      • boyscout

RBT, Mr. Livingston is a true Libertarian and lives by the principles he professes and runs this blog accordingly. Therefore you, I, Root, Galt and everyone else on here is permitted a say. Would you allot this man guilt for allowing others their opinions? (rhetorical question – I know you wouldn’t.) Lighten up, enjoy the opportunity to put your ear to the rail, and kick out some of your own opinions; I’d like to hear them.

        • http://www.facebook.com/CapitalistAtBirth Greg Murphy

His opinions are not worth listening to. They are Nazzi talking points.

          • boyscout

Too late to save me; I have read (and enjoyed) Mein Kamf. And although I have always preferred a blue collar to a brown one, I still like to hear what others opine (the ear to the rail thing.)

        • Right Brain Thinker

Uh, boyscout, are you putting us on with that handle? Although you sure do sound “boy scoutish” when you talk about what this “blog” is all about. It is not a blog per se, and W.A.R Canal and Ben are PAID to write these articles from the MONEY that Bob Livingston makes from the site. It’s not their opinions, but deliberate propaganda designed to stir up the ignorant and deluded. Do you think they’d throw such horsepucky around because they believe it? No, they do it for money.

I was tweaking Bob—-it’s a little game we play to generate traffic and up the hit count on the site. I am always ready to help Bob keep PLD “healthy”, both in terms of the flow of gold coins into his basement and the quality of the discourse.

You must be new here when you ask for my “opinions”. (although you WILL fit in nicely—-“rhetorical question – I know you wouldn’t” shows that you are a motivated reasoner, as many here are). I have only been posting on PLD for a few months, but I have put many FACTS and much TRUTH out there for all to see in that time, as well as many well-supported opinions. You can see my comments or anyone else’s who has ever posted on PLD by googling “right brain thinker personal liberty digest”. Do it for “boy scout” and you will get hits on your own comments here. Everything that anyone has ever said on PLD is preserved forever on the web (which must make it easier for the NSA to keep track of some right-wing whack jobs).

And what’s a “true Libertarian”? Are there any UNtrue libertarians? And what is “truth’?

And I will remind you of the old saw that “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion (“say”, as you put it), but not to their own facts”. Failure to recognize the truth of that is a BIG problem on PLD, particularly among some of the paid “professional” writers like W.A.Root Canal.

          • http://personalliberty.com/ Bob Livingston

            Dear Right Brain Thinker,

You write: “I was tweaking Bob—-it’s a little game we play to generate traffic and up the hit count on the site.” As I have pointed out before, your help is not required–particularly when it comes to “generat[ing] trafic and up[ing] the hit count.” Care to see?

            Best wishes,
            Bob

P.S. You are also in serial violation of the comment policy, particularly as it relates to civility and name calling. You are on the verge of a permanent ban. You have been warned.

          • Right Brain Thinker

            Dear Bob,

I’m not quite sure what you’re offering with “Care to see?”, but I’ll say yes so I can find out.

You say I am “in serial violation of the comment policy, particularly as it relates to civility and name calling” and am “on the verge of a permanent ban”. Since I’m sure you are a firm believer in upholding the Constitution, perhaps you would afford me my Constitutionally guaranteed due process rights and turn that accusation into a real charge—-specify the who and when of the “name calling and incivility”, allow me to “confront the witnesses against me and question them”, have a “fair trial”, etc. Or you could just ban me and prove that you don’t believe in the Constitution.

Considering the huge volume of incivility and name calling that I have been subjected to from the very first time I posted on PLD,and the huge amount of it that flies in all directions on almost every thread, it actually seems to be a bit of a “straw man” argument on your part to accuse me of being such a big “sinner” that I need to be banned. .

It’s your site, and I know I have stepped on your toes before when I have gotten too close to your financial arrangements with your “writers”, the financial aspects of how you make money from the site, and so on. If that’s your concern, I hear your warning

          • http://personalliberty.com/ Bob Livingston

            Dear Right Brain Thinker,

You write: “…but I’ll say yes so I can find out.” Excellent. We will now demonstrate.

You write: “I have stepped on your toes before when I have gotten too close to your financial arrangements with your “writers”, the financial aspects of how you make money from the site, and so on.” This is
a red herring. You have not “gotten too close to [my] financial arrangements” or how I “make money from the site.”

You write: “If that’s your concern, I hear your warning.”
            That is not my concern.

            Best wishes,
            Bob

Heya RBT, Thanks for the heads up; sorry I missed it first time around and yes it seems you did tweak the owner-operator of this site; sorry if I jammed you up in any way. Long ago I was Eng Lit major so I should know to choose words better; conservative would have been better than Libertarian, but still I am grateful that he provides this Forum. Personally, I often answer to any number of slurs. Hope to see you stick around and help balance out the postings here.

        • GALT

Actually, Mr. Livingston, by his own admission is NOT
a “true libertarian”, since by his own admission, he is
          not a “libertarian”.

By extending your logic and viewing history and the
idea of “opinion entitlement”, Adolf Hitler was just another
          fun guy expressing an “opinion”?

          • boyscout

Guess I really did goof up the terminology but by extending the history (not the logic) Hitler would possibly be a fungi without opinion. In reality, I see a monster lurking within even the best of humanity and (as evidenced on this site) not too deeply hidden in some. I remain undecided as to the worth of this quality (?) and am no psychologist. Oh, and thanks for feedback/correction; I can use all I can get.

      • Chester

With just a bit of study and opening your eyes, you would quickly learn that Bob Livingston does exactly the same thing WAR does, sell things by using his name and reputation. Only, in Bob’s case, it is more apt to be precious metals or survivalist gear.

And why wait……what do YOU believe…..

1.) The framers of the Constitution opposed a strong central government.

3.)The framers were impartial statesmen, above interest driven politics.

4.) The framers were guided by clear principles of limited government.

5.) James Madison sired the Constitution.

6.) The Federalist Papers tell us what the Constitution really means.

7.) The Founding Fathers gave us the Bill of Rights.

8.) By discovering what the framers intended or how the founding generation understood the text, we can determine how each provision of the Constitution must be applied.

“He who controls the present, controls the past. He who controls the past controls the future.”

  • Flashy

Hey Look ! It’s the Wayne Root Comedy Hour !

Well, the wacked right contingent is getting even more desperate as
the marginalization of those needing fear, anger and ignorance to
sustain their own sorry self worth in the cause of martyrdom continues
    to gain speed.

Across the board, the lunatics are being pushed aside and signs of sanity are returning to the GOP as its own internal war for the future path of that party is waged. The confrontation between the sane and the insane portions of the GOP started with absurdities such as interference in the Terry Schiavo matter.

Since this administration was elected, twice, by a majority of the voters
with a clear mandate for progress, it has taken the form of a belief
that everything the President does must be opposed as if it were the
onset of tyranny. This disfunctional Obama Derangement Syndrome has
resulted in a situation where it’s essentially impossible to get the nation’s business done. Quite literally…there is common belief if President Obama said it was “natural law” the sun would rise in the east, the wacked Right would attack the comment as being absolute proof he was anti Christian and a menace to our society.

The damage wrought by the extremists? To the GOP? A fratricidal internal war much like what the Democrats went through in the early 80’s when it ousted
the far Left from it’s decision making ranks…but in this one, the far right loonies are taking bodies and shedding blood as they are pushed aside. A generation which is growing up seeing the GOP as anti everything but the orders of Big Business and the American Taliban. Intolerant of everything which calls for a fair and level laying field for all. Abandonment of the poor, the young, the old, the infirm and of Middle America.

A generation which will reject the GOP mantra for years. The liklihood that the GOP will become a regional party, one which will slowly diminish as more and more the influences of the extremists are lessened by voters.

The extremists rely now upon two areas to maintain their slipping grip on America’s throat. one is to rig elections which water down those majority peoples who see them as they are. To gerrymander political seats and deny fair and honest elections. And to threaten and stall any movement forward to cause this
nation grief and malaise…in the hope that as it descends into third world status, extremism will again rise and give them what they seek…the end of America as we know it.

Above all, a total rejection any solution which will move this nation forward and be
positioned to take on the challenges of the 21st century. Math? Doesn’t count to them. Science? It’s Anti religion and since it doesn’t jive with the goals of serfdom by Corporate America..to be rejected.

And when they are cornered and the simple question asked “ummm…care to provide specifics?” They scurry away as they are stripped bare and shown to be nothing more than empty buckets bereft of nothing more than robots spewing the fear, hate and ignorance their masters tell them they must have to legitimize their sorry sense of low self worth.

Yawn! Your “self importance is really staggering. I would like to buy you for what you are worth…and sell you for what you THINK you are worth! I would never have another care in the world.

  • Liberty Lover

The welfare system would be a lot more efficient if we simply stopped arresting poor people who mug productive people on the streets and in the parks. Get rid of the middle men, those worthless parasites in government who think they are actually making a contribution to society. Our system of organized theft is just too expensive to maintain. The most fundamental principle of the Democratic Party is theft. Charity is a virtue that ennobles the giver; charity at the point of a gun loses all nobility.

    • Jeff

I didn’t think anyone could approach Root in the Most Idiotic Analogy Ever department, but you give him a good run for his money. Yes, everyone who receives a Government paycheck is just like a mobster, whether that check is for teaching your great grandkids, putting out fires, protecting the LL mansion from marauders, paying out Social Security benefits to all those “takers” we’d be better off without, or enforcing those silly rules that make out workplaces (at least outside Texas) a couple of notches safer than those in Bangla Desh.

You guys really do believe the Dickensian Era and the non-regulation that brought us the Triangle Fire in 1911 were the correct models for society as opposed to the present. There is nothing one can say in response to such monstrous thinking.

      • Liberty Lover

Life will never be perfect. Tragedy abounds, but never more prevalent than in those societies organized along the principle of “from each according to his abilities; to each according to his needs.” As tragic as it was, the Triangle Fire was a small price compared with the cumulative prices paid by those unfortunate enough to live in the most thoroughly evolved socialist societies. The model of freedom that made possible the Triangle Fire brought us the highest standard of living (and not just in a material sense) that the world has ever known. That same model naturally results in corrective forces brought to bear to reduce the risks of similar future tragedies without the necessity of enacting hundreds of laws and regulations to be enforced by thousands of government inspectors. Your failure to understand that, Jeff, makes you no more than a very articulate simpleton.

Incidentally, a free society will naturally evolve means of protecting citizens and property, and educating children, that do not inherently require employment by some government entity. Public education has been a disaster.

        • Jeff

I believe our standard of living has improved exponentially since the era of increased regulation beginning after the Triangle Fire. And certainly we have seen a more equitable distribution of economic benefits since that time. I know you hate all regulations because if the Government can impose fire codes (Quelle horeur!), it can send everybody to the Gulag or some such right wing nonsense. If you think that because some greedy b*st*rd can make a few extra dollars by subjecting his employees to needless risk of death that that represents a social “good” and that regulations on his conduct are not worthwhile, then you are the most extreme right winger I’ve ever run across. Are there regulations that are excessive? Of course. But you’re criticizing the ones that actually do what they set out to do – save lives.

          • Liberty Lover

I believe your logical fallacy is called, “post hoc; propter hoc”. The idea that the exponential improvement in our standard of living occurred BECAUSE of government regulation instead of DESPITE government regulation would be hilarious if the idea were not so tragically prevalent. By your reasoning, the Russian and Chinese people ought to be enjoying the highest standards of living in the world.
As I’ve explained to you before, a free-market economy is a remarkably adaptive organism. “Homeostasis” is the idea you need to comprehend. It is this adaptive feature that routinely frustrates control freaks like you and your fellow Democrats by creating all kinds of unanticipated consequences to interfere with the objectives of your socialist legislation. It is the reason poverty levels now are higher than they were five decades ago when the pathetically naive “War on Poverty” commenced. It is the reason that socialism always pushes in the direction of communism or fascism where there are virtually no vectors of freedom left through which to frustrate your “noble” (nay, monstrous) goals.

          • Jeff

Yes, it’s pure happenstance that since we’ve had regulation miners’ and factory workers’ deaths have dropped dramatically. It’s pure happenstance that since FDR, ordinary people have been able to retire with some semblance of dignity. It’s pure happenstance that for 55 years after FDR we had no banking crises and within just a few years of repealing Glass-Steagall we nearly had a repeat of the Great Deprtession. It’s pure happenstance that allowing workers to unionize brought about the greatest middle class prosperity the world had ever known in the middle of the last century. It’s pure happenstance that post-1965 people over 65 could access quality healthcare.

The logical fallacy is your assumption that somehow every dog pursuing his own bone with no thought of the collective whatsoever will produce a civilized society. It produced the 19th and early 20th Centuries. Fortunately, most of the civilized world has moved beyond that kind of Social Darwinistic approach. I know you think there’s Herbert Spencer & Adam Smith and then there’s Karl Marx & Lenin with nothing in between. What’s in between is the entire world!

          • Liberty Lover

It’s not happenstance, Jeff, it’s testimony to the amazing resilience of a free-market economy. Repeating the same logical fallacy over and over does not overcome the fact that economic progress has been made in spite of the various statist interferences you cite. The devastating consequences of the paternalistic policies of FDR have yet to be fully experienced. Notwithstanding the adoring attitudes of seniors who have taken far more from the welfare program known as Social Security than they put in, Social Security is a cruel hoax on any member of a younger generation expecting to enjoy a good retirement thanks to it. Chile got it right in linking their program’s investment returns to the private sector. Our social security program is a fraud and a failure.

Yes, Adam Smith had it right that individuals pursuing their individual best interests with no thought to the collective invariably produce the best collective results. Anyone who cannot see that by now is an uneducable fool. It is a great tragedy that the world is undecided between Smith and Marx even now and leaning strongly in the directioin of Marx (except for the communist countries who know Marx all too well).

I will grant you that there was a halcyon era for most manufacturing workers in which they were paid more than their skills would have commanded in a global world of free trade. If unionization were the key to that success, those union jobs would still exist here in the US.

          • Jeff

Why is it that whenever the subject of reasonable regulation of business comes up, you immediately go to the Soviet system? There is no connection between a system featuring a private economy regulated by Government to insure basic safety for workers and consumers, environmental protections, etc. and a system in which the government owns the means of production. Pretending they are the same thing is the ultimate in intellectual dishonesty.

          • Liberty Lover

I’m not a Democrat, Jeff, so there’s little chance of me being guilty of “the ultimate in intellectual dishonesty.” As someone who is forever distorting comments and attacking straw men, your intellectual dishonesty is on display every day. I’ve never contended that socialism and communism are the same thing. I’ve explained why Obama is more of a fascist than a communist because he does not seek state ownership of the means of production, only control over those resources. So in my explanation of why socialism is unstable and always pushes toward less freedom, I should have included fascism along with communism. They are two sides of the same anti-freedom coin. If that is the point of your intellectually dishonest post, I’ll gladly concede it.

It isn’t necessarty to have a massive government bureaucracy to ensure basic protections for workers and consumers. It is in the best interests of employers to provide a plant that will not burn down and subject them to immediate substantial loss as well as major additional losses resulting from suits by injured parties. It is in the best interests of any companies offering to insure against such losses to make certain that the insured company has prudent safety measures in place. Left to its own devices, the free market will come up with an extensive array of organizations like Consumer Reports and Underwriter’s Laboratory to assist consumers in making good judgments.
You lack either the imagination or the objectivity (or both) to conceive of an economy in which government does not play a major role. You learned history from Dickens and Sinclair Lewis. To look back in history and apply the standards of an advanced economy to those of a relatively primitive capitalist economy is patently unreasonable.

I take exception to your claim that “public education has been a disaster. I have a doctorate in education, and the U.S. does a damn good job of educating our citizens. But we could improve our record on college education.

          • Nadzieja Batki

If you are so bloody educated as you believe yourself to be, why are you such a frightened person reacting to a comment that public education has been a disaster? But you believe that education is a disaster and you have run out of excuses as to why it is so.

          • JeffH

Shirley you jest…you say ” I have a doctorate in education”.
I challenge that statement and believe you have been “indoctrinated by public education”.

          • Jeff

And I believe you’ve been indoctrinated by Glenn Beck and Alex Jones.
BTW: What do you think of Ted Cruz running for president? He was born in Canada to an American mother and a Cuban father. Natural born citizen? As much as I dislike him as a politician, I think he’ll be ruled OK to run as he had citizenship through his mother at birth.

          • JeffH

            [comment has been edited]

FYI, Glenn Beck has more facts in his little pinky than you could ever hope to have. Alex Jones? LMAO at that one…if you wanted to be clever, why not include “FAUX NEWS” or RUSH?

Cruz is not a natural born citizen” just as Obama is not a “natural born citizen” and Rubio is not a “natural born citizen”. I realize you ignore the many facts that’s been presented to you on the subject of “natural born citizen” so why would you even mention it when you know my position won’t change.

          • Bob666

“Glenn Beck has more facts in his little pinky than you could ever hope to have”
            Now that was funny!

          • Bob666

            Jeff,

Beck is a nut job and far more political satire than reality. You have a flair in your post, unfortunately, there is far more flair than facts.

          • JeffH

Beck is a nut job…WOW! Why is Beck a nut job…enlighten me please.

Glenn Beck is a great teacher and a moral leader. I doubt that you have listened to or watched him since he created The Blaze network…so I certainly doubt you’re qualified to offer anything more than the old standard of “he’s a nut job”.

Finally, I’m not trying to convince you of anything. Guys like you are so far off the mental grid that you are beyond reason, I just like helping you prove that to everyone.

It doesn’t take great intellect to pontificate, Jeff. You demonstrate that everyday. And what has our Obama flack Jeff accomplished that is so noteworthy other than spreading a lot of arrant nonsense?

So convince me , that “IT” is not you and the people that you are attempting to install! ~~ This clip could very easily be seen as an indictment on the “Tea Party” Average Joe, ~ For it is the Tea Party that is seen as making these same claims under a cloaked banner of personal freedom and liberty while restricting it. ~ The use of coded messages ~ and discursive talking points is the stock and trade ~ of the forces that that with to “Take over” .

      • Average_Joe56

Why should I convince you of anything? Are you not capable of looking around you and seeing reality? Are you not capable of doing the research for yourself? When did I become the person assigned to “convince you” of anything? Education, knowledge and information is an individual choice. Either YOU choose to pursue each…or YOU don’t.

Since nowhere in the video was the “Tea Party” (not an actual party, rather an idea), mentioned or single out…I fail to find cause for your sudden outburst of incoherent ranting about said “Tea Party”. BTW, I’m not a member of any “Party”…I am an individual.

Your entire post consists of rambling at best and incoherent rambling at worst.

I see bad times all around me Sir ~ I listen to you and I hear bad times. While you think that you know your enemy ~ you have been fooled. The current GOP / Tea party just loves people like yourself. Why do you think that the “out of power” solicit your support and tells you who your enemy is?

      • Larry Christopher

It is a shame Darwan that you continue to believe the hype and misrepresenting of the Tea Party. Coded messages are a spin of the Leftist media about anything the Tea Party or Conservatives say. They know about Coded messages, because they are the Masters of such a ruse. There is honestly no hope for a Liberal / Socialist / Communist / Progressive such as you, because your mind has been so deluded by lies and half-truths for so long! If you…and fellow America haters like you would be honest to yourselves (for a change) you will realize how far this evil administration has ruined this country. However, I don’t expect things like truth and facts to ever sway a Liberal. Those words are just never in their vocabulary.

        • Jeff

The hopeless one is you if you cannot see a difference between the government having a role in a mixed economy and the government owning the means of production and not permitting innovation. The Tea Party is made up of the same people that used to be called The Moral Majority and before that the John Birch Society. Another term for them is “Conservative Republican.” There is nothing new about them. Rush Fatbaugh has been on the air for about 25 years or is it longer? Has he changed his tune any in that time? And does he not agree with everything the “Tea Party” does? It’s just old fashioned right wing, reactionary, xenophobic, racist nonsense dressed up with a “deficit” bow. But where were you during the W Reign of Error? I’ll tell you where you were. You ate it up and begged for more.

          • Nadzieja Batki

The government created the mixed economy and it is the one which is not permitting innovation by regulating and stifling.

          • Deerinwater

That is simply not so Nadzieja, ~ though I hear it often from pundits on the right. That, ~ along with a lot of other things that can’t pass a close inspection. ~ Have you actually looked into it? ~ The current administration is huge on innovation. ~ while it is True, ~ that not everyone is getting what they are asking for, especially the oil patch. Sadly the only thing that has been truly innovative in the oil patch is finding it ~ and fracking and even that is a decade old, maybe two..

I hear all kind of wild things Nadzieja

Listen to this! How this women got elected to office speaks volumes about the sad state of affairs of today GOP and what the TEA PARTY has done to simple minds.

“New Hampshire state rep makes case for federal govt. being behind Boston bombing.”

Stella Tremblay, New Hampshire Legislator, Says Jeff Bauman ‘Was Not In Pain’ After Bombing

The New Hampshire state legislator who has said the federal government caused the Boston Marathon bombing claimed proof in a victim who lost both legs and “was not in pain.”

State Rep. Stella Tremblay (R-Auburn) told a conservative talk show host Tuesday that she knows the federal government was behind the attacks because Jeff Bauman, a bombing victim who helped identify the suspects, was not “screaming in agony” after both his legs were blown off. Tremblay made the comments on The Pete Santilli Show, first reported by miscellanyblue.com, a liberal-leaning website, on Wednesday.

“Then, my first gut reaction seeing the horror of that person that has their legs blown off,” Tremblay said. “You know, the bone sticking out? He was not in shock. I looked and I thought, there’s something. … I don’t know what’s wrong, but it seems surreal to me. I talked to my sister, who’s not into politics at all, and she said, ‘Yes, I saw the same thing.’ He was not in shock. He was not in pain. If I had had those type of injuries, I’d be screaming in agony.”

Tremblay, a tea party member with ties to the birther movement, made the remarks about Bauman after causing a stir with her marathon bombing government conspiracy theory.

She said photos of the bombing showed intact backpacks, which she said should have been destroyed if they contained bombs. Last week, she posted a comment on Glenn Beck’s Facebook page saying the federal government caused the bombing. She has resisted calls to resign over the post.

During the interview with Santilli, Tremblay said she should not get all the credit for linking the government to the bombing. She said a constituent had pointed her to the information. She said she previously trusted the federal government. ”

If I was a Tea Party supporter , I’d hide my face.

In any case ~ a sold conservative sees you attempting to yet once again warp yourself up in the American flag to hide you failings and true intentions and that is to exploit your moral superiority and defend this belief again those that offer doubt and question that it might be so.

        • Bob666

          Yo Larry,

Could it be the Tea Party is a group of non-unified social miss-fits that can’t stay on message and have fringe elements that make extreme statements regarding race and religion? While there are many aspects of the Tea Party agenda that I agree with, I am not sure that I would want to be associated with many that I have met.

That is the problem with third parties in the this country and I believe there are many people in our society that are fiscally conservative and want smaller government, but many of them are socially Libertarians that do not believe that one has the right to limits guns or abortion.
But if you look at the history of third parties, they tend to attract the fringe of both parties and drive the rational and sane voters away.

Responding just to respond because it’s me, Joe? I think I made a valid point. Because somebody thinks a certain way does not mean that it is the only way. NOBODY knows ANYTHING really. All we go by is what we are told by others, and then it is up to each of us to discern what is true according to our own perception and beliefs. Is there ever a time when you think you might be wrong? I am not presumptuous enough to believe that everything I believe to be true is right beyond the shadow of a doubt.

          • Average_Joe56

“Responding just to respond because it’s me, Joe? ”

Don’t flatter yourself…I have obviously responded to more people than you.

            ” I think I made a valid point.”

Again, don’t flatter yourself…you didn’t…since you disproved your own post…by offering up your “opinion”…Way to go… in making your (in)valid point.

            “NOBODY knows ANYTHING really.”

Speak for yourself….in your case, the statement is probably true……

” Is there ever a time when you think you might be wrong?”

I thought I was wrong once…but I was mistaken…I have been known to be wrong on occasion and will be the first to admit it…when it happens.

You on the other hand offer up your opinion as though it were the Gospel truth…with nothing to back up your claims other than more of your own opinion…and we all know about those.

” I am not presumptuous enough to believe that everything I believe to be true is right beyond the shadow of a doubt.”

Maybe not, but you will still argue about it until He!! freezes over, rather than admit you are clueless or just plain wrong.

Hmm, ~ it seems that we go from Obama being unable to do anything , to having super powers and doing everything that has destroyed America in the matter of a few hours, LOL!

It’s down right comical ! ~ what is even more funny is that , if you question the wisdom of these assertion , then you are automatically a paid troll.

Mr. Livingston forum once was a place, where thoughtful and meaningful political discussion took place and no less then 20 brighter minds gathered daily.

~ That number seems to have fell significantly over the last few months. I am actually beginning to miss these men and women that I called opposition.

I openly confess to the fact, that I helped play a part in many of them decision to leave with stinging rebuttals and insisting on validation and support of factual information. Offering a constant challenge to those that habit making unsupported and flaming statement.

But this new bunch of yahoo’s fail to even stir a desire to respond too. ~~ Anyone being that stupid is only harmful to themselves and not worth the bother to address.

I enjoy robust debate ~~ Mr. Root ~~but this “ain’t” it. ~ You are only feeding the bottom feeders with such flaming commentary.

If you want to compare a “Sitting Administration” with the activities of an “Organized Crime Family” ~ it should not be very hard to do. ~ Without research , I could start with President Grants Administration and go forward and build this same argument.

What they both have in common is the power, the will and the resources. The dissimilarity, is the applied rule of law and the consent by a mandate from a majority of the governed.

That any citizen might finds themselves at odds with the majority alone, does not constitute a crime or a criminal make. This disenfranchised position only means that your views are unpopular with the governed today and the people that have elected to support your views failed to garner sufficient support in their bid for office. You have only lost an election. ~ So I ask you, ~ Why both with elections if you are unwilling to accept the outcome of the electoral process?

You have the laws of the land at your disposal to plead your case, to move voting districts, to limit access, ~you have the ballot box ~ It’s for you to make a better use of these laws and a better argument if you expect a shift in public support to your way of thinking.

Just telling us how bad you believe Obama is ~ has failed so far. ~ perhaps there is another way? . For if Obama is so awful and inept or a criminal as you suggest~ then it should be a simply thing to rise above him or convict him and best him on the political playing field of selling ideas and implementing policy.

This is what? ~ the 5th year of your mud slinging efforts ~ and what have you gained with this course of action? ~~~Stirred up some resentment? made a few dollar slinging manure? ~ paid off a car? Sent a kid to college? ~ Helped encourage a few people to go shot somebody? ~ Is this your idea of good christian behavior?

The greatest Threat to Liberty is the Sin of a Righteous Ideology that Controls free people !!!!

Why the Main Stream Media Worships the Obama Administration and gives cover to their attempts of fundamental transformation of Liberty . Don’t think for a Minute that not all media networks are Chasing these dollars for Greed is a Virtue and politicians exploit that sin always .

      We already know that these Obama Administration appointees are of the Same Idealistic point of view that channel President Obamas thoughts about whats best for the USA and the World in that they are Controlled by the Environmentalist voting block and what these Ideologues want in Policies threatens Free Peoples Liberty . So buying peoples support becomes the objective to push Fundamental Change and controlling the Media and the message that feeds information into the Minds of the society becomes the most important part of Change in Obamas policies to get them to fruition and heres some examples of how that gets done in the Media networks . When you have Ben at the federal Reserve printing Unlimited Money and sending it out into the market places of the stock market and those dollars are ripe for harvest by advertising “ It Buys Media Influence “ like this ;

Here is the PR Team that will Control the Media Presence just like they did to Get Obama Reelected !!!!! OBAMA, INC.: New firm unites Stephanie Cutter, Jen O’Malley Dillon, Teddy Goff, Jenni LeCompte

We had some naughty ones as well ~ but there were enough brighter minds to raise the bar curve. On the surface, the proclaimed intent and notions of the Tea Party are sound ideas ~ and reflect all that is good about being an American. I know that there are many good and sincere loyal Americans defending and supporting anything that the Tea Party wishes to champion. ~ While the very act of the original Tea Party was cloaking their contempt for authority to hide maliciousness civic misbehavior and deferring onto an innocent party all blame. I would have never founded a movement using such a “Label” ~ This “sneak factor” ~ is still here I fear. ~

What I have seen so often ~ in marketing anything ~ is this practice of Bait & Switch” which seems to run deep in the GOP.

You a lead to believe that you are committed to buying a Battle Ship with 16″ guns that can cruse at 45 Knots. ~ but after committing your support ,you are delivered a leaky row boat , short one oar and a pea shooter. ~ adding insult to injury ~ they act if they can’t understand why you are disappointed with this fine craft !

“Let’s wake up this Industrial Giant” ( Right ! and if you are not building planes, ships or rockets ~ nap away ~ we’ve no need for you and you are just in the way of progress)

” Read my lips , no new taxes” ( Right ! just some more old ones) Surprise surprise!

We are offered many things ~ to sway our hearts and minds to gain our support and our vote. So often it’s a lot of double talk and bait and switch is the normal. ~ Our new Honorable Governor of Wisconsin a perfect example, ~ already facing budget problems on his election, ~ he committed to a business investment which only deepen it and then insisted on deep austerity measure to pay for his investments with his circle of friends. ~ why did he do that? ~ did he warn the Wisconsin voters of his plans before they voted for him? ~ and then came the kick in the head! Public worker agreeing with these cuts in pay ~ was not enough! ~ He wanted more! ~~ surprise , surprise!

While we need to remember where each of us are at in the FOOD CHAIN. ~ As a great day for Mitt Romney is a bad day for many other working American. ~ and I am a working man. I understand the struggles of the working Americans ~ My money is small ~ I serve others to earn it. ~ my rewards for serving other’s fits inside the normal market values that all Tradesmen enjoy. ~ The limits of my personal prosperity are directly linked with how well I spent my money as my earning are modest. ~

I have to be a “conservative” ~ it’s not an option with me. ~and I have been forced to learn how to smell a Snake Oil salesman, and I am forever mindful of the Bait and Switch practices of con men and swindlers ~ and “chiselers! Let’s not forget Chiselers ! They are a breed of their own.

You must forgive me if I can’t celebrate the success of people like Mitt Romney or Donald Trump, ~ yet I know a buzzard has to eat too. ~ I don’t have that much in common with things that eat off the dead and dying. And more so if this injury to life was a deliberate act by those’s that come bearing “gifts”.

It’s not these men wealth that I begrudge ~ but the way they say that they “earned it.”
You can call me whatever you want to for that ~ I don’t really care.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing but expecting a different result. Obamas economic policies are the same as Jimmy Carters, but on steroids. The results of Carters policies were Stag Flation (the term was invented to describe what was going on at the time), a stagnant economy with less that 1% GDP, inflation running 15%, 10% unemployment and mortgage rates running in the 20% range.
What makes you think it will be any different this time.
We need to promote prosperity instead of poverty and we need to mimic policies that work. Just follow what Reagan did. After three years in office, the economy was gaining steam as evidenced by our GDP numbers running in the 7% range. He went on to having the largest peacetime economy in the last century.
Russia has learned the hard way and now they practicing economic policies that will create prosperity. They recently reduced their taxes to a flat tax of 13%, their debt has been paid down to 6% of GDP when ours is running over 100% and their GDP is running 6-7% right now.
What a bunch of dummies we are to think the policies of Carter will create prosperity when they have proven to create poverty

    • Jeff

And Clinton’s policies v. W’s? How is it you overlooked that comparison? A simple oversight? I think not. Reagan lowered taxes when they were still at very high rates dating back to WWII. But Reagan also raised taxes when necessary. Clinton raised taxes and the economy boomed. W lowered taxes because he just believed he and his”base” should pay less and we all know the results. In fact, I find it “curious” that Wayne Root left out the Bush Crime Family. The analogy works much better given its history (Prescott and the Nazis), Neil and the S&L Crisis, etc. Has any family in history been responsible for less job creation than the Bushes?

So forgive me if I don’t think you’ll be lecturing economics students even at the University of Chicago (well known for Repug. Economics) anytime soon.

      • Deerinwater

a foot note in history perhaps, but it was during Clinton tenure the last time that the Fed working inside it’s budget and his term ended with a modest federal budget surplus. ~

Unlike many people, I am most willing to give some credit to Ronald Reagan for Clinton’s economic success. ~ For it has to be so ~as the Federal Government is huge and any change of course or direction is lumbering and slow to manifest results that can be witnessed and felt.

America is not a ski boat but a Blue Water vessel that responds slowly to helm command. She does not stop, go or turn quickly. ~

For those of you that prospered under Reagan tenure, ~ more power to you. I am glad for you. ~ but you must realize and accept the fact that it was largely impart to Federal spending. For after all the downsizing, reconstruction, sell-off, slashing of Federal funded social programs, lowering taxes on some, raising taxes on other , Reagan left office unable to run this nation inside an agreed on budget.

    • Deerinwater

I don’t remember Carter engage in quantum easing or offering the states with budget shortfalls Federal money to buy themselves time to get their house in order, in an effort to stay off a total economic collapse that was suspected to go global after just months prior W’s administration bailing out the larges Banks in the nation.

What Carter’s administration faced was left-over from Nixon honoring his campaign promise to get us out of Nam and the subsequent economic downturn that was certain to follow any scaling back of Federal military spending.

It wasn’t Nixon or Carter that cause this turn-down. ~ As Federal spending was at an all time high under Johnson with his notions that Victory could be won in Viet Nam! He was counselled that it was possible ~ and ~ Of course now we know ~ irregardless of how much was to be spent and how much we bombed , a military victory could not be won ~ under the, ~ then present confining rules of engagement that was being used. ~ The spending was excessive! ~ and for many years it bloated the America’s economy. American’s became very use to and comfortable with this money.

What economic correlation you might compare with Obama tenure is best represented between 43 and 44 , as here again W’s greatly increased the size of government and government spending while at the same time cut federal tax income rates. ~ Now, to know where this “new” money was suppose to come from to fund his military ambitions and the increases in Federal employment personal was never defined and has never been clear to this very day. I got the impression that our Conservative friends on the Hill must be on a first name bases with the Tooth Fairy.

In any case, the excess of Federal spending of one Administration is passed on to the next Administration to contend with. Any changes of direction on the part of Executive branch that effect Federal spending will be felt across the board. If , ~like Nixon, you attempt to put an end to a war ~ the economics of this act will be felt.

The only economic comparison you might make between Carter and Obama ~ is the “Misery Index” associated with any economic downturn. While Carter problems were but a fart in the wind compared to Obama’s “Mother of perfect Storms”

Reagan! ~~ did much the same thing ! ~ over spend! ~ defeating the Great Northern Bear! ~~ We were told ~ there were to be “dividend” in Peace! Well, ~ ? That didn’t last long did it? Now we have a new Boogie man, meaner and more ornery then the last.

These notions about what it means to be a “Conservative” today ~ needs serious work! ~ you are being played like a violin.

The largest peace-time prosperity was immediately after World War II (long beforeReaganbecame president). I know–I wrote my doctoral dissertation on dislocated workers in 1984 (using information from 1982).

The dollar is doomed from a lack of Supply expansion that
can’t be realized in capital accumulations in US financial markets because of a
Tax code that Penalizes Profits more than if these funds are held Off Shore ,
and so the results are a Doomed Dollar as world trade currency as the US Prints
more and more debt to try and fill this void in domestic markets fueling a
hyper currency war in international markets .

We see Central Banks around the world now engaged in
this currency war printing and expanding their balance sheets to compete with
the dollar expansion and alliances are being formed as a result of this and its
trending away from the dollar as international settlement currency .

What Obama has in common with the Gambino Crime Family? This from a professional Las Vegas gambler, a sports book, and later financial assets manager of pyramid schemes – part of the criminal speculator class who helped ignite the greatest global economic downturn since the 1930s. What a joke. Mr. Root no doubt knows a lot about the Gambinos. I’m sure he associated and worked with them quite a bit in Las Vegas back in the day. But Root’s idol, Ronald Reagan, who sold Stinger Missiles to the Ayatollah Khomeni terror regime in Iran in order to arm and finance a mercenary killer army in Nicaragua, the Contras? Don Reagan who got 242 Americans – not 4 as in Benghazi – killed in a terrorist hit in Beirut? Reagan, of course, would have nothing at all in common with the Gambinos in Mr. Root’s eyes. He was a true American patriot.

” This from a professional Las Vegas gambler, a sports book, and later financial assets manager of pyramid schemes ”

The last time I checked, gambling was still legal in Las Vegas…unless you know something that the rest of us don’t?

” part of the criminal speculator class who helped ignite the greatest global economic downturn since the 1930s. What a joke. Mr. Root no doubt knows a lot about the Gambinos (sic). I’m sure he associated and worked with them quite a bit in Las Vegas back in the day.”

Do you have anything, other than your opinion, (that and $5 will get you a cup of coffee in some places… this isn’t one of those places) to substantiate your claims? I mean, those are pretty bold accusations…and we want to hear more about this…please enlighten us with your wealth of knowledge and factual sources on this matter…We patiently await!

        Check out Root’s pyramid schemes.

        • Average_Joe56

Why? I didn’t involve myself with any of them…..
If someone else did…and made money, good for them. If someone did and lost money…”let the buyer beware” comes to mind.
Not everyone is cut out to be a salesman. Just because someone didn’t get rich, doesn’t make it the fault of the “program”…usually, it is the fault of the person…who can’t manage to sell the product. Remember…”pyramid” schemes…are… MLM’s (Multi Level Marketing) Please take note of the word, “Marketing”….that means you must promote and sell a product of some kind…if you can’t sell your product…you won’t remain in business for long…That’s the nature of Marketing. Also, you refer to his business ventures as “schemes”, please elaborate for us…you’ve made an accusation, but you have failed to prove your accusation (only your opinion)…yet again. Your post has no merit….as usual

LOL… W.A.R is a funny guy. Root is really a liberal making fun of conservatives right? There is no way that he writes this stuff with a straight face. He must be on his laptop at the Sahara Hotel at the NASCAR Cafe, drunk after he lost all of his money for the night putting it on “black”.
Funny Funny nonsense… WAR is in rare form today… It is truly a wonder why he never reached any position of power in the United States.

Agreed that Mr.Obama issues regulations that discourage free enterprise
    and thereby discourages job creation.

Agreed that Mr Obama raises taxes across the board with the payroll
tax increase, internet sales tax, and forcing health insurance on
everyone and increasing healthcare costs on everyone.

Noted that nevertheless the American economy has gone from losing
800,000 jobs monthly to gaining thousands of jobs monthly on his watch.

Agreed that the American deficit has exploding on Mr. Obama’s watch
and that cutting the deficit is not one of his priorities.

Noted that in the second quarter of this year, the American budget
will be in surplus and around thirty-five billion of the federal debt
will be paid down. This is because of rising government revenue from
economic expansion and increased tax rates on the wealthy plus
reduced government spending from the sequester, and the April 15
    tax collections.

Noted that a lot of states with Republican governors are doing quite
well despite the mistake in the White House because they do all they
can to encourage business in their states.
