What A Gig!

August 22, 2012 by

What A Gig!
PHOTOS.COM
American Homeland Security Consulting Group, LLC, is made up of former agents from several government agencies.

Last week, I told you that the Department of Homeland Security was taking bids for ammonium nitrate and A-5 Flake RDX for “testing” purposes. Now we know who submitted the winning bid.

It was American Homeland Security Consulting Group, LLC. The security firm is made up of former agents from DHS; Justice; Treasury; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; the Drug Enforcement Agency; Customs; the FBI; Immigration and Customs Enforcement; the Internal Revenue Service; and the Secret Service. It is headed by the former chief law enforcement officer for the Maryland office of the Transportation and Security Administration, Art Gordon.

According to the firm’s website, it specializes in supporting Federal, State and local governments and the private sector “in securing the homeland.” It has a rapid response team trained in firearms and security; and it provides consulting, training and legal services.

It is not a manufacturer of fertilizer or explosives.

This is obviously another case of cronyism. It’s rampant in Washington, where people work for government or get elected to Congress and then leave to make money off their connections.

I guess it’s a nice gig, if you can get it.

Nothing like the “Good Ol’ Boy inside track” to insure you get the bid for explosives and
“special” devices. So much for open and honest above board bids and a fair shake
for all biders. Don’t know why they even bothered to have a bid the deal was already
signed, sealed and delivered to their chosen company. The public bidding was just
for show, like a lot of dealing with the current white house resident.

Can you say, “Barry’s Civilian Army”?

    • David169

      James,
RDX or cyclotrimethalenetrinitramine is the explosive chemical in C-4 and other cyclonites. It is very brisant or has a great shattering effect. The gas volume of RDX is about average by weight. AN or amonium nitrate has little brisants but a tremendous gas volume. When AN and RDX are combined in the proper quantities they make an explosive that has a high shattering effect with a tremendous displacement of the shattered material. The combination is ideal for quick and dirty structural demolition of steel reinforced concrete structures. It makes me wonder what they are up to since any planned demolition would take the time to drill holes for more effective placement of charges.
But what do I know I only spent 28 years in the business.

You know that the Obamalovers won’t believe it! I’ve been sayin’ that this was Obama agenda for it for the past 4 years. I can’t believe over half the population voted for this idiOt? What’s even sadder is the ones that would vote for him AGAIN!!!

Why do you think that Obama wants more people on welfare. That is his way of buying their vote. If it looks like he will lose the election he will declare marshal law thereby stopping the election and allowing him to do as he pleases and you better not speak out against him.

    • Daveh234

I’m not an Obamalover and saw the movie.
Loads of unfounded propaganda again, everyone does it. It’s a prejudiced piece done by a right wing zealot.

2016 The Movie has been restricted by the theaters from general viewing in the South Bend area.

This is similar to the order for 450-million rounds of hollow-point .45 caliber ammo. Who are they planning to shoot and why? Big Sis has already given the order, “Shoot to kill.” That’s what dumdums are good for, if not to the head or heart they cause bleeding to death.

Two targets: (1) in case of public uprisings following the marshal law takeover of the country and, (2) killing surviving radioactive citizens from fleeing big cities after a nuclear attack to prevent them from contaminating other citizens. Is offshore attack coming from old enemies? Did the president’s change in the Marshal Law law making everything in the country his property significant? November is going to be terrifying.

    • stopspending

I sure hope it is Nov that is scary and not the next four years. I have hardly been able to relax during the past four years, four more would “fundamentally change the US” and probably we would not be able to change it back.

    • Chester

Jimbo, not sure what MARSHAL law you are talking about, unless Matt Dillon is coming back. Perhaps you were referring to “martial law” which is, essentially, rule by the military. If we ever go that route, will make no difference whose property you are on, you will be subject to arrest or execution on the spot, the decision to be made by unit command, whether squad leader or platoon leader or company commander will depend on exactly what the circumstances of your running afoul of them are.

      • HH

Who’s running afoul chester? Civilians or the government?

      • James

Biden seed it, There going to put use back in chains and we were thinking thy were talking about the black men. Obama is thinking it is the WHITE MANS TURN to be the slave.

      • DaveH

We can get along in the “color blind” society that MLK said he advocated, or we can act like fools and duke it out.
But all people should be aware of who really caused the division before we go down that road — Big Government. They have used the Blacks and the Whites as pawns for their goals of self-interest. They have no concern for who suffers as long as they are on top. It’s an age-old story with Leaders.

    • David169

      JimboNC,
I distrust Obama but I think a lot of what he says is just a threat. Even in the darkest days of the civil war when General Lee could have pivoted eastward from Gettysburg and burned Washington DC to the ground, President Lincoln did not declare Martial Law. I have looked but I cannot find where any president has pulled the Martial Law card for the nation. Obama would be the last person to declare Martial law and surrender his authority to the military. That would put all functions of government under the military and then the military would be duty bound to investigate the credentials of the commander in chief. All high ranking officers are under continious scrutiny and the second he dismissed the Senate and Congress the Army would by law need to know everything about Obama. The army wouldn’t ask him to produce documents they would just go take them from where ever they are.

      • John Woodbury

David, sorry but the darkest days were not Gettysburg, Lee barley escaped destruction, but either First Bull Run or Second Bull Run. Had the South pushed their advantage after First Bull Run, as several officers wanted, history would have been changed.

      • http://www.facebook.com/rafaelgiovannetti Rafael Giovannetti Sr.

The Goverment and the military are both controlled by the same puppet masters, which are the engineers of the New World Order. (Federal Reserve, Builderburgs, Rockefelers, Iluminati, Skull & Bones) They are in the final stages of accomplishing their goal of having full control of our privacy, our freedom, and our rights. One step at the time they are taking it all away from us. When they do there is going to be no opposition that can stop them; the time to stop them is now!!

      • HH

“I have looked but I cannot find where any president has pulled the Martial Law card for the nation. Obama would be the last person to declare Martial law and surrender his authority to the military”.

Surrender his authority to the military? He is the HEAD of the military! Commander and Chief?

And for a second thought, how may “FIRSTS” does Obama have under his belt?

First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.
First President to preside over a cut to the credit-rating of the United States.
First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party.
First President to by-pass Congress and implement the Dream Act through executive fiat. .
First President to have a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.
First President to arbitrarily declare an existing law unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it.
First President to threaten insurance companies if they publicly spoke-out on the reasons for their rate increases.
First President to tell a major manufacturing company in which state it is allowed to locate a factory.
First President to file lawsuits against the states he swore an oath to protect (AZ, WI, OH, IN).
First President to withdraw an existing coal permit that had been properly issued years ago.
First President to appoint 45 czars to replace elected officials in his office. .
First President to golf 73 separate times in his first two and a half years in office, 90 to date.
First President to hide his medical, educational and travel records.
First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it.
First President to go on multiple global ‘apology tours’.
First President to have 22 personal servants (taxpayer funded) for his wife.
First President to keep a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000 a year at taxpayer expense.
First President to take a 17 day vacation
        First black president
        First gay president

It’ not out of the realm for him to be the FIRST pres to declare martial law on the nation!

  • Rennie

This is just another example of the Military Industrial Complex becoming further entrenched. I find it interesting that when there is talk of cutting the budget in either the military or DHS that Republicans start screaming that we are either soft on terrorist or are wanting to open the homeland up to attack. There is a lot that we can agree on with respect to misspent money for para military or military use. However the idea that President Obama is going to declare Martial law to take over the country is as laughable as it is unhinged.

    • Linda n Texas

Mike, have another glass of the koolaide, maybe it will work like Jim advertised this time.

      • Daveh234

This crap has been going on way before this latest administration. You know that but keep it in Obama’s hands.
The Republicans are the ones cowtowing to the Military Complex(not just Pentagon but Haliburton and other purveyors) and extremely powerful energy comanies to garner their favors(money).
It’s all of them involved and it ain’t gonna stop.

      • DaveH

        Daveh234,
It isn’t just Republicans. Obama has surrounded himself with such Crony Capitalists as General Electric, and Goldman Sachs. They play both sides of the isle.
From “Wall Street, Banks, and American Foreign Policy”:
“Goldman Sachs accounted for over $994,000 of Obama’s war chest”.
“the president’s pick of General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt to oversee the effort to curb unemployment rhymes nicely with FDR’s pick of GE CEO Gerard Swope to head the National Recovery Administration”.

    • http://na Mike in NE

Right mike, it just can’t/won’t happen here right? Funny, I’m neither laughing or unhinged.

You may laugh now mike but if and when it DOES happen nobody will be laughing!

Go do a little study on presidential executive orders and just what things the sitting president has the authority to do with just the stroke of a pen. I don’t have time to look it up now but there is an EO that the president can use to move a large portion of the population to a “government camp” by just declaring a “drug” crisis!

      • http://na Mike in NE

HH, you get it, just the stroke of a pen. People trust this dictator to not do that?

      • HH

On top of EO’s there is this………..

The Violent Crime Control Act of 1991 provides additional powers to the President of the United States, allowing the suspension of the Constitution and Constitutional rights of Americans during a “drug crisis”. It provides for the construction of detention camps, seizure of property, and military control of populated areas. This, teamed with the Executive Orders of the President, enables Orwellian prophecies to rest on whoever occupies the White House. The power provided by these “laws” allows suspension of the Constitution and the rights guaranteed in the Bill of Rights during any civil disturbances, major demonstrations and strikes and allows the military to implement government ordered movements of civilian populations at state and regional levels, the arrest of certain unidentified segments of the population, and the imposition of Martial Law.

        http://dmc.members.sonic.net/sentinel/gvcon5.html

      • HH

“there is an EO that the president can use to move a large portion of the population to a “government camp” by just declaring a “drug” crisis”!

Correction, this is not a Presidential Executive Order but an Act of congress that gives the president more powers!

    • Tom T

@Mike, considering that hollow point ammo is illegal in the Geneva Convention for any reason, who would 450 million rounds of such ammo be used for other than domestic use? Hollow points are less effective on any one wearing any kind of body armor. So who are intended to be the targets? Wakey wakey!!!!

I am not a conspiracy theorist, but it seems to me there could be no better way than for a bunch of para-military types (and if you think real easy that is what they seem to be ) to set off some kind of device and blame it on others.
With that kind of scenario what better way to call for Martial Law and “suspend” the constitutional rights of American citizens.
With the gathering of huge amounts of Ammonium Nitrate, A-5 Flake RDX, and massive amounts of Firearms Ammunition, it is a very real possibly.
The people they hire, and I will put money on this one, are either former special ops types or those that are controlled borderline psychotics who would not think for a second of using deadly force against the American public in the name of justice for all.
    Just a random thought.

  • HH

I truly believe that if it came right down to it and Obama declared Martial Law that MOST of “OUR” military AND law enforcement would jump ship and let the Obamatanic sink! Our service men and women aren’t idiots, they know the difference between a terrorist and a US citizen!

    • Andy

Which ship, though, are the foreign troops that are in the U.S. undergoing training going to jump in?

      • Mike

ANDY, did you actually type “foreign troops”?

Any foreign troops on American soil are the enemy and they are to be “neutralized” immediately.

Unless they are conducting joint exercises with our own troops. Even then they best stay real close to our own.

Why not? If they’re doing it in somebody else’s country, a person has to be brain dead to believe they wouldn’t do it here. If they don’t respect human rights in somebody else’s country, it’s not very likely that they will change that attitude here.

        • HH

Yes, I saw that Dave, that soldier needs a lesson on who pays his salary!. Did any of these folks bring suit against the military? These are clearly violations of their second amendment rights!

      • HH

Now that’s eye opening! I’ve been wrong before………….. time to re-think my stance on that! WOW!

    • Pathfinder

Andy is not to far off target with the words “foreign troops”.
Our current involvement with the UN is bad enough. The Obama/ Clinton negotiations on 4 more UN treaties, which, if ratified by the democrat senate, will be enforceable by the UN and could certainly lead to UN troops intervening in domestic US policy. The “ATT’ and “LOST”treaty efforts are just two examples.

The ATT can nullify the second amendment rights and Lost will require that
the US government give a significant percentage of drilled oil royalties (that ” BIG OIL”
pays to BIG GOVERNMENT) to the UN. How cool is that? Your governmental money being pissed away to the UN. This “donation” or royalty money will supposedly be “distributed among the 3rd world poor” (translation: dictators, war lords and UN cronies). Distribution is at the sole discretion of the UN ….Do we need more reasons to dump OBAMA? No matter where you look, US citizens are getting SCEWED!

  • JimboNC

Bullies have a way of backing off when confronted, Obama, in particular, does that. Making voters aware of his suspected intentions will make them less likely, hopefully. Surprise will be lost and America’s homegrown militias (NRA) will handle foreign forces just as they did in 1776. Fear will defeat us, determination superior to theirs will win at the
    polls and elsewhere.

  • antonio

A message to all you people. Do not think that the military and police will defend you. Yes, many will take our side, but most will not. Anybody who wheres a pentagram on their chest as a “badge” is only going to dish out evil ways….
If you want to get technical about it, I would bet my money on the possibility that fema would round up most police and military men that they feel would be a threat; so they are probably the first ones on their [expletive deleted] list anyways.

  • Mike

So long as the would be one world order leaders understand the will of the people will NOT surrender they will wait. Problem is….time is on their side.
Something must happen soon to reverse the encroachment of the NWO. The executive orders and the laws like Patriot Act and the NDAA must be repealed. The only way that will happen is to get new, sensible people in the halls of congress.

Can we do it? Can we convince those who run the risk of losing the government teat it is for their own good to vote for smaller government?

    It won’t be easy.

China now owns so many US dollars, it could start selling them off and cause a major plunge in the value of it. Gas could hit $10 in just a few weeks. A loaf of bread, $5, your electricity times 5. Think of it. You would be broke in short order, sitting in a dark house, no food, no water.

When will we wake up to the fact that the New Left is heading us down the path of America’s destruction, enslavement of its people and in the end an agonizing death. This example needs no further proof or demonstration of that end. The fact that we have underestimated true evil, that it is here and unmasked for all to see makes it even worst. Seems to be a trend – isn’t Chernoff the one that gave us airport scanners that are always down? My husband has artificial hips and he sets off the scanner every time so he has to be patted down. At Seattle he has tried each time we travel there to go through the scanner to save time, but they are always “not working”…. what a load.

Seems our government is in the protection racket and is raking in the money for it. Meanwhile we are no longer free and live under their constant scare attacks.

    • Pathfinder

Yes, indeed you are correct. Michael Chartoff former head of Homeland Security has conflicting interests. As a lobbyist for the manufacturer he gets kickbacks (Guess they are called commission on sales). And he is a consultant for the DHS under the BOB admin, so there is 2x dipping right there. Further, when he was head of DHS, he was instrumental with the adoption of the scanners (more conflict of interest). When purchase orders were placed, it was understood that the scanners were known not to be truly functional but “would be perfected before delivery”. Bottom line: American Citizens Screwed Again!

      • marxbites

They ALL have interests that conflict with our lives, liberty and property.

The FED has been their grandest enabler.

        Food for thought;

        THE ANATOMY OF THE STATE

        What the State Is Not

The State is almost universally considered an institution of social service. Some theorists venerate the State as the apotheosis of society; others regard it as an amiable, though often inefficient, organization for achieving social ends; but almost all regard it as a necessary means for achieving the goals of mankind, a means to be ranged against the “private sector” and often winning in this competition of resources. With the rise of democracy, the identification of the State with society has been redoubled, until it is common to hear sentiments expressed which violate virtually every tenet of reason and common sense such as, “we are the government.” The useful collective term “we” has enabled an ideological camouflage to be thrown over the reality of political life. If “we are the government,” then anything a government does to an individual is not only just and untyrannical but also “voluntary” on the part of the individual concerned. If the government has incurred a huge public debt which must be paid by taxing one group for the benefit of another, this reality of burden is obscured by saying that “we owe it to ourselves”; if the government conscripts a man, or throws him into jail for dissident opinion, then he is “doing it to himself” and, therefore, nothing untoward has occurred. Under this reasoning, any Jews murdered by the Nazi government were not murdered; instead, they must have “committed suicide,” since they were the government (which was democratically chosen), and, therefore, anything the government did to them was voluntary on their part. One would not think it necessary to belabor this point, and yet the overwhelming bulk of the people hold this fallacy to a greater or lesser degree.

We must, therefore, emphasize that “we” are not the government; the government is not “us.” The government does not in any accurate sense “represent” the majority of the people.[1] But, even if it did, even if 70 percent of the people decided to murder the remaining 30 percent, this would still be murder and would not be voluntary suicide on the part of the slaughtered minority.[2] No organicist metaphor, no irrelevant bromide that “we are all part of one another,” must be permitted to obscure this basic fact.

If, then, the State is not “us,” if it is not “the human family” getting together to decide mutual problems, if it is not a lodge meeting or country club, what is it?

        Briefly,

the State is that organization in society which attempts to maintain a monopoly of the use of force and violence in a given territorial area; in particular, it is the only organization in society that obtains its revenue not by voluntary contribution or payment for services rendered but by coercion.

While other individuals or institutions obtain their income by production of goods and services and by the peaceful and voluntary sale of these goods and services to others, the State obtains its revenue by the use of compulsion; that is, by the use and the threat of the jailhouse and the bayonet.[3] Having used force and violence to obtain its revenue, the State generally goes on to regulate and dictate the other actions of its individual subjects. One would think that simple observation of all States through history and over the globe would be proof enough of this assertion; but the miasma of myth has lain so long over State activity that elaboration is necessary.

        What the State Is

Man is born naked into the world, and needing to use his mind to learn how to take the resources given him by nature, and to transform them (for example, by investment in “capital”) into shapes and forms and places where the resources can be used for the satisfaction of his wants and the advancement of his standard of living. The only way by which man can do this is by the use of his mind and energy to transform resources (“production”) and to exchange these products for products created by others. Man has found that, through the process of voluntary, mutual exchange, the productivity and hence, the living standards of all participants in exchange may increase enormously. The only “natural” course for man to survive and to attain wealth, therefore, is by using his mind and energy to engage in the production-and-exchange process. He does this, first, by finding natural resources, and then by transforming them (by “mixing his labor” with them, as Locke puts it), to make them his individual property, and then by exchanging this property for the similarly obtained property of others. The social path dictated by the requirements of man’s nature, therefore, is the path of “property rights” and the “free market” of gift or exchange of such rights. Through this path, men have learned how to avoid the “jungle” methods of fighting over scarce resources so that A can only acquire them at the expense of B and, instead, to multiply those resources enormously in peaceful and harmonious production and exchange.

The great German sociologist Franz Oppenheimer pointed out that there are two mutually exclusive ways of acquiring wealth; one, the above way of production and exchange, he called the “economic means.” The other way is simpler in that it does not require productivity; it is the way of seizure of another’s goods or services by the use of force and violence. This is the method of one-sided confiscation, of theft of the property of others. This is the method which Oppenheimer termed “the political means” to wealth. It should be clear that the peaceful use of reason and energy in production is the “natural” path for man: the means for his survival and prosperity on this earth. It should be equally clear that the coercive, exploitative means is contrary to natural law; it is parasitic, for instead of adding to production, it subtracts from it. The “political means” siphons production off to a parasitic and destructive individual or group; and this siphoning not only subtracts from the number producing, but also lowers the producer’s incentive to produce beyond his own subsistence. In the long run, the robber destroys his own subsistence by dwindling or eliminating the source of his own supply. But not only that; even in the short-run, the predator is acting contrary to his own true nature as a man.

We are now in a position to answer more fully the question: what is the State? The State, in the words of Oppenheimer, is the “organization of the political means”; it is the systematization of the predatory process over a given territory.[4] For crime, at best, is sporadic and uncertain; the parasitism is ephemeral, and the coercive, parasitic lifeline may be cut off at any time by the resistance of the victims. The State provides a legal, orderly, systematic channel for the predation of private property; it renders certain, secure, and relatively “peaceful” the lifeline of the parasitic caste in society.[5] Since production must always precede predation, the free market is anterior to the State. The State has never been created by a “social contract”; it has always been born in conquest and exploitation. The classic paradigm was a conquering tribe pausing in its time-honored method of looting and murdering a conquered tribe, to realize that the time-span of plunder would be longer and more secure, and the situation more pleasant, if the conquered tribe were allowed to live and produce, with the conquerors settling among them as rulers exacting a steady annual tribute.[6] One method of the birth of a State may be illustrated as follows: in the hills of southern “Ruritania,” a bandit group manages to obtain physical control over the territory, and finally the bandit chieftain proclaims himself “King of the sovereign and independent government of South Ruritania”; and, if he and his men have the force to maintain this rule for a while, lo and behold! a new State has joined the “family of nations,” and the former bandit leaders have been transformed into the lawful nobility of the realm.

        How the State Preserves Itself

Once a State has been established, the problem of the ruling group or “caste” is how to maintain their rule.[7] While force is their modus operandi, their basic and long-run problem is ideological. For in order to continue in office, any government (not simply a “democratic” government) must have the support of the majority of its subjects. This support, it must be noted, need not be active enthusiasm; it may well be passive resignation as if to an inevitable law of nature. But support in the sense of acceptance of some sort it must be; else the minority of State rulers would eventually be outweighed by the active resistance of the majority of the public. Since predation must be supported out of the surplus of production, it is necessarily true that the class constituting the State-the full-time bureaucracy (and nobility)-must be a rather small minority in the land, although it may, of course, purchase allies among important groups in the population. Therefore, the chief task of the rulers is always to secure the active or resigned acceptance of the majority of the citizens.[8] ,[9]

Of course, one method of securing support is through the creation of vested economic interests. Therefore, the King alone cannot rule; he must have a sizable group of followers who enjoy the prerequisites of rule, for example, the members of the State apparatus, such as the full-time bureaucracy or the established nobility.[10] But this still secures only a minority of eager supporters, and even the essential purchasing of support by subsidies and other grants of privilege still does not obtain the consent of the majority. For this essential acceptance, the majority must be persuaded by ideology that their government is good, wise and, at least, inevitable, and certainly better than other conceivable alternatives. Promoting this ideology among the people is the vital social task of the “intellectuals.” For the masses of men do not create their own ideas, or indeed think through these ideas independently; they follow passively the ideas adopted and disseminated by the body of intellectuals. The intellectuals are, therefore, the “opinion-molders” in society. And since it is precisely a molding of opinion that the State most desperately needs, the basis for age-old alliance between the State and the intellectuals becomes clear.

It is evident that the State needs the intellectuals; it is not so evident why intellectuals need the State. Put simply, we may state that the intellectual’s livelihood in the free market is never too secure; for the intellectual must depend on the values and choices of the masses of his fellow men, and it is precisely characteristic of the masses that they are generally uninterested in intellectual matters. The State, on the other hand, is willing to offer the intellectuals a secure and permanent berth in the State apparatus; and thus a secure income and the panoply of prestige. For the intellectuals will be handsomely rewarded for the important function they perform for the State rulers, of which group they now become a part.[11]

The alliance between the State and the intellectuals was symbolized in the eager desire of professors at the University of Berlin in the nineteenth century to form the “intellectual bodyguard of the House of Hohenzollern.” In the present day, let us note the revealing comment of an eminent Marxist scholar concerning Professor Wittfogel’s critical study of ancient Oriental despotism: “The civilization which Professor Wittfogel is so bitterly attacking was one which could make poets and scholars into officials.”[12] Of innumerable examples, we may cite the recent development of the “science” of strategy, in the service of the government’s main violence-wielding arm, the military.[13] A venerable institution, furthermore, is the official or “court” historian, dedicated to purveying the rulers’ views of their own and their predecessors’ actions.[14]

Many and varied have been the arguments by which the State and its intellectuals have induced their subjects to support their rule. Basically, the strands of argument may be summed up as follows: (a) the State rulers are great and wise men (they “rule by divine right,” they are the “aristocracy” of men, they are the “scientific experts”), much greater and wiser than the good but rather simple subjects, and (b) rule by the extent government is inevitable, absolutely necessary, and far better, than the indescribable evils that would ensue upon its downfall. The union of Church and State was one of the oldest and most successful of these ideological devices. The ruler was either anointed by God or, in the case of the absolute rule of many Oriental despotisms, was himself God; hence, any resistance to his rule would be blasphemy. The States’ priestcraft performed the basic intellectual function of obtaining popular support and even worship for the rulers.[15]

Another successful device was to instill fear of any alternative systems of rule or nonrule. The present rulers, it was maintained, supply to the citizens an essential service for which they should be most grateful: protection against sporadic criminals and marauders. For the State, to preserve its own monopoly of predation, did indeed see to it that private and unsystematic crime was kept to a minimum; the State has always been jealous of its own preserve. Especially has the State been successful in recent centuries in instilling fear of other State rulers. Since the land area of the globe has been parceled out among particular States, one of the basic doctrines of the State was to identify itself with the territory it governed. Since most men tend to love their homeland, the identification of that land and its people with the State was a means of making natural patriotism work to the State’s advantage. If “Ruritania” was being attacked by “Walldavia,” the first task of the State and its intellectuals was to convince the people of Ruritania that the attack was really upon them and not simply upon the ruling caste. In this way, a war between rulers was converted into a war between peoples, with each people coming to the defense of its rulers in the erroneous belief that the rulers were defending them. This device of “nationalism” has only been successful, in Western civilization, in recent centuries; it was not too long ago that the mass of subjects regarded wars as irrelevant battles between various sets of nobles.

Many and subtle are the ideological weapons that the State has wielded through the centuries. One excellent weapon has been tradition. The longer that the rule of a State has been able to preserve itself, the more powerful this weapon; for then, the X Dynasty or the Y State has the seeming weight of centuries of tradition behind it.[16] Worship of one’s ancestors, then, becomes a none too subtle means of worship of one’s ancient rulers. The greatest danger to the State is independent intellectual criticism; there is no better way to stifle that criticism than to attack any isolated voice, any raiser of new doubts, as a profane violator of the wisdom of his ancestors. Another potent ideological force is to deprecate the individual and exalt the collectivity of society. For since any given rule implies majority acceptance, any ideological danger to that rule can only start from one or a few independently-thinking individuals. The new idea, much less the new critical idea, must needs begin as a small minority opinion; therefore, the State must nip the view in the bud by ridiculing any view that defies the opinions of the mass. “Listen only to your brothers” or “adjust to society” thus become ideological weapons for crushing individual dissent.[17]

By such measures, the masses will never learn of the nonexistence of their Emperor’s clothes.[18] It is also important for the State to make its rule seem inevitable; even if its reign is disliked, it will then be met with passive resignation, as witness the familiar coupling of “death and taxes.” One method is to induce historiographical determinism, as opposed to individual freedom of will. If the X Dynasty rules us, this is because the Inexorable Laws of History (or the Divine Will, or the Absolute, or the Material Productive Forces) have so decreed and nothing any puny individuals may do can change this inevitable decree. It is also important for the State to inculcate in its subjects an aversion to any “conspiracy theory of history;” for a search for “conspiracies” means a search for motives and an attribution of responsibility for historical misdeeds. If, however, any tyranny imposed by the State, or venality, or aggressive war, was caused not by the State rulers but by mysterious and arcane “social forces,” or by the imperfect state of the world or, if in some way, everyone was responsible (“We Are All Murderers,” proclaims one slogan), then there is no point to the people becoming indignant or rising up against such misdeeds. Furthermore, an attack on “conspiracy theories” means that the subjects will become more gullible in believing the “general welfare” reasons that are always put forth by the State for engaging in any of its despotic actions. A “conspiracy theory” can unsettle the system by causing the public to doubt the State’s ideological propaganda.

Another tried and true method for bending subjects to the State’s will is inducing guilt. Any increase in private well-being can be attacked as “unconscionable greed,” “materialism,” or “excessive affluence,” profit-making can be attacked as “exploitation” and “usury,” mutually beneficial exchanges denounced as “selfishness,” and somehow with the conclusion always being drawn that more resources should be siphoned from the private to the “public sector.” The induced guilt makes the public more ready to do just that. For while individual persons tend to indulge in “selfish greed,” the failure of the State’s rulers to engage in exchanges is supposed to signify their devotion to higher and nobler causes-parasitic predation being apparently morally and esthetically lofty as compared to peaceful and productive work.

In the present more secular age, the divine right of the State has been supplemented by the invocation of a new god, Science. State rule is now proclaimed as being ultrascientific, as constituting planning by experts. But while “reason” is invoked more than in previous centuries, this is not the true reason of the individual and his exercise of free will; it is still collectivist and determinist, still implying holistic aggregates and coercive manipulation of passive subjects by their rulers.

The increasing use of scientific jargon has permitted the State’s intellectuals to weave obscurantist apologia for State rule that would have only met with derision by the populace of a simpler age. A robber who justified his theft by saying that he really helped his victims, by his spending giving a boost to retail trade, would find few converts; but when this theory is clothed in Keynesian equations and impressive references to the “multiplier effect,” it unfortunately carries more conviction. And so the assault on common sense proceeds, each age performing the task in its own ways.

Thus, ideological support being vital to the State, it must unceasingly try to impress the public with its “legitimacy,” to distinguish its activities from those of mere brigands. The unremitting determination of its assaults on common sense is no accident, for as Mencken vividly maintained:

The average man, whatever his errors otherwise, at least sees clearly that government is something lying outside him and outside the generality of his fellow men-that it is a separate, independent, and hostile power, only partly under his control, and capable of doing him great harm. Is it a fact of no significance that robbing the government is everywhere regarded as a crime of less magnitude than robbing an individual, or even a corporation? . . . What lies behind all this, I believe, is a deep sense of the fundamental antagonism between the government and the people it governs. It is apprehended, not as a committee of citizens chosen to carry on the communal business of the whole population, but as a separate and autonomous corporation, mainly devoted to exploiting the population for the benefit of its own members. . . . When a private citizen is robbed, a worthy man is deprived of the fruits of his industry and thrift; when the government is robbed, the worst that happens is that certain rogues and loafers have less money to play with than they had before. The notion that they have earned that money is never entertained; to most sensible men it would seem ludicrous.[19]

How the State Transcends Its Limits

As Bertrand de Jouvenel has sagely pointed out, through the centuries men have formed concepts designed to check and limit the exercise of State rule; and, one after another, the State, using its intellectual allies, has been able to transform these concepts into intellectual rubber stamps of legitimacy and virtue to attach to its decrees and actions. Originally, in Western Europe, the concept of divine sovereignty held that the kings may rule only according to divine law; the kings turned the concept into a rubber stamp of divine approval for any of the kings’ actions. The concept of parliamentary democracy began as a popular check upon absolute monarchical rule; it ended with parliament being the essential part of the State and its every act totally sovereign. As de Jouvenel concludes:
Many writers on theories of sovereignty have worked out one . . . of these restrictive devices. But in the end every single such theory has, sooner or later, lost its original purpose, and come to act merely as a springboard to Power, by providing it with the powerful aid of an invisible sovereign with whom it could in time successfully identify itself.[20]

Similarly with more specific doctrines: the “natural rights” of the individual enshrined in John Locke and the Bill of Rights, became a statist “right to a job”; utilitarianism turned from arguments for liberty to arguments against resisting the State’s invasions of liberty, etc. ………..

When a sitting Dictator takes his case to the public in the Police-State that America has become; he needs to remember that his audience might actually be able to remember the context of what he continues to espouse.

“During his speech to the National Urban League Obama said all political leaders should find consensus on the issue: (gun control) But he emphasized his support for the Second Amendment. “I think we recognize the traditions of gun ownership as it has been passed on from generation to generation. That hunting and shooting are part of a cherished national heritage. But I also believe that a lot of gun owners would agree that AK-47’s belong in the hands of soldiers and not in the hands of criminals. That they belong on the battlefield of War, not on the streets of our cities.”

    k) Obama has apparently missed the boat entirely; the shooter was not a criminal and purchased the guns he used legally.

The public knows that the only seller of guns to criminals of late has been the US Department of Justice that sold huge numbers of automatic weapons to the drug cartels south of our border with Mexico. None of those criminals from ICE or from the Agency which deals with alcohol, tobacco and firearms (ATF), have ever been charged, much less prosecuted—in a situation in which Obama himself has invoked “Executive Privilege” to protect his criminal AG and himself from federal prosecution.

So before Obama even begins to point his twisted fingers at any other source of illegal weapons ending up in the hands of criminals (that have executed members of US law-enforcement with those weapons) – he needs to own up to his personal-responsibility for the crimes committed by himself and his very own Department of Justice!

    k) Obama’s second disconnect (in just this one short comment): He has apparently forgotten that he has already ordered that the entire United States, together with ALL of its citizens is now a major part of the global BATTTLEFIELD, and as such our people can now be shot on sight without warning or appeal.

    O) “I believe that the majority of gun owners would agree that we should do everything possible to prevent criminals and fugitives from purchasing weapons.”… in an election year the issue has been highlighted by the Colorado shooting which left twelve people dead. The accused James Holmes is expected to be charged on Monday (tomorrow)” Sara Cholton – Reuters (1)

Obama forgets that he has personally DECLARED an open war-zone, inside America that makes everyone here a part of the new FREE-FIRE ZONES. Contrary to his statement in the video all Americans are now living in this WAR ZONE and inside a WAR ZONE, as Obama said himself, ‘automatic weapons are appropriate for self-protection when the public must fight to survive in a war-zone’ against hell-fire missiles, tanks and heavy armaments in addition to armed drones that will be targeting American citizens for torture, rape or murder without notice or appeal.

This was the purpose behind the creation of the second amendment: Hunting and target practice were never the point, but were merely a by-product of owning the weapons.

And finally the public must become AWARE that in this WAR – Obama’s War upon America: Obama is the leader, NOT of America but of her enemies on every front! Obama & the Zionists are the deadliest ENEMIES of this nation and must be measured and responded to as such – immediately!

Here’s more of what Obama has planned for us, and btw Napolitano knows about as much about Military Defenses as she does about toasters, civil rights or radiation safety!

“Breaking: United Nations Small Arms Treaty Not Dead

Surveillance drones have a new mission. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) they will be used for “public safety”. Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the DHS, told a House Committee meeting on Homeland Security that the more than 30,000 drones that will be deployed into American skies are just arbitrarily watching out for US citizens.

Napolitano stated: “With respect to Science and Technology, that directorate, we do have a funded project, I think it’s in California, looking at drones that could be utilized to give us situational awareness in a large public safety [matter] or disaster, such as a forest fire, and how they could give us better information.”

Secretly, DHS have been taking bid for contractors who can install “aerial remote sensing” which uses light detection and ranging (LIDAR) that would be part of the unmanned drone missions within domestic US territory.

“DHS believes these airborne images are essential for homeland defense missions, such as planning for National Special Security Events (Super Bowls or a national political conventions come to mind); enhancing border, port and airport security; as well as performing critical infrastructure inventories and assessments” and has spent over $50 million to employ contractors, as well as processors for images and dissemination throughout the DHS.” (1)

“Since Reagan’s administration this “paper-world” of threats and intimidation of the public has gone on uninterrupted: With the public expected to follow their every dictate to the letter, while the Cabal does whatever it wants to anyone at any time. The mini-ceremony depicted above is intending to bring a formal end to all American Resistance using the obscenity of the United Nations and all of its satellite organizations (IMF, The World Bank, the Bank of International Settlements, (Now destroyed) and the whole false flag world as it has been formally configured to finally ‘TAKE’ the power that this foreign blood line has coveted for centuries.” (2)

It’s tough to ask the public that you’re trying to murder to approve of what you want to do to them, when you are Barack Obama in a supposed election year: But if this public cannot remember what he’s done to them already as well as what he has planned once the fixed elections are over with—then there really is no hope at all for any Amerikans that choose to “buy-in” yet again to even more of this Traitors’ lies…

I ashamedly worshipped RWR, at least his rhetoric.

This global indebtedness is what Jefferson already knew happens, what we fought a revolution to expel, and as did Voltaire in 1729, that paper money always returns to its intrinsic value – zero.

One nation after another has succumbed to the int’l banksters, free for them fiat debt money PLUS interest, with fractional reserve leverage to boot, has long been the known road to sefdom and vast riches alike. Just guess who has possession of most of the worlds gold?

Does anyone think it unreasonable to believe that Hamilton was just another Rothschild man? Like Zaharoff, Morgan and Rockefeller; and the last two, their own succession of American puppet preznits?

    • marxbites

I forgot to mention, this did not start w/RWR, this started on main in 1907, the seeds of the FED, and during the pregressive era in general when Dems chucked Jefferson for Marx, and the Reps progressed their Henry Clay whig American System of corporate state fascism in mutual planning of the economy and society. Both “sides” at the top wanted WW1, seed of Hitler.

The birth of corporate state mass media propaganda is the only reason we have put up with it for 100+yrs.

And WW1 was the planned psyop, and cover for elite plunder.

See “Dealers in Death” on youtube. Be sure to note the American corp war profits ledger entry in the beginning compared to Europe’s own death merchants. Many of which were American subs, like American IG was to IG Farben.

Until humanity again sees the state for what it really is, things will only continue to worsen. Global strike anyone? Sidestep at every available avenue?

If we dont do something while still able, it aint gonna be pretty for any of us unfortunate enough to not some foreign haven.

Harm no man, then do as you will.

We dont need govt when IT does only the opposite.
