Voters Pick Obama To Win Debates

HAMDEN, Conn., (UPI) –  Likely voters pick U.S. President Barack Obama to win the debates against Republican challenger Mitt Romney by a margin of 2-1, the latest poll indicates.

The poll by Quinnipiac University of Connecticut also finds the president with an 18-point lead among women putting him ahead of Romney 49-45 percent among all likely voters.

The president leads Romney 56-38 percent among women and 94 percent to 2 percent among black voters, the Wednesday-through-Sunday poll of 1,912 likely voters found.

The poll carries a margin of error of 2 percentage points.

Among those polled, 93 percent said they planned to watch the presidential debates but 86 percent said they do not expect the candidates to say anything that would change their minds.

“Voters clearly are interested in the debates but skeptical that the events will make them reconsider their voting preference,” said Peter Brown, assistant director of the university’s polling institute.

Voters said they expect the president to win the debates over Romney 54 percent to28 percent.

The first debate is Wednesday night in Colorado.

If Obama is allowed to use a teleprompter, notes or have an earwig so that answers can be fed to him, then, yes, he probably will win the debate. He has shown that he his not capable of speaking well off the cuff. When giving speeches, if his teleprompter breaks down, he can not continue since someone else wrote his speech and he has to read it in order to know where he stands on issues. That will be how it is in the debates.

Political Superbowl! The score is already decided and only the global elites and AIPAC has decided the winner for you.

How many years has it been since Romney had a real job.He has been running and debating for the Presidency for at least the last six years. If he doesn’t do good tonight he may as well hang it up.We only really know him as a campaigner and debater. He really is a better debater than campaigner.Too much secrecy around his campaign. He won’t talk about health care, taxes, his religion, the economy the troops or the war in Afghanistan.his offshore accounts or even the businesses he owns in China and the Grand Cayman. He will not use definite numbers on issues because he has none and doesn’t understand the issues.Sorry but the guy is a dope.
