Underwear Bomber Pleads Guilty

October 13, 2011 by

Underwear Bomber Pleads Guilty

The accused underwear bomber pleaded guilty Wednesday to eight criminal charges, including conspiring to commit an act of terrorism, in his second day of trial.

According to USA Today, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab read from a statement saying he was guilty under U.S. law, but not under Islamic law, of the charges. He said that his actions were in retaliation against the United States for the murder of innocent civilians in Afghanistan, Somalia, Israel and elsewhere.

The would-be suicide bomber said in his statement to a U.S. District Court in Detroit that he was not sorry because committing jihad against the United States is one of “the most virtuous acts” a Muslim can perform, according to reports. He also reportedly warned his audience that if the U.S. continues its Mideast occupation, a calamity will befall the country.

INFOWARS.COM published a story discrediting Abdulmutallab’s plea, saying he was originally scheduled to plead innocent and call to the stand Kurt Haskell, who was also a passenger on Delta Flight 253. Haskell was prepared to testify that he had seen a suited man ask ticket agents whether Abdulmutallab could board the plane without a passport, according to a report on

The INFOWARS.COM article reads: “Abdulmutallab’s reversal now means that Detroit Attorney Kurt Haskell’s contention that the plot was, as in almost every other terror case made public, a product of government entrapment, and that the US intelligence establishment was involved in the aborted attack, will now remain buried, at least for the time being.”

I will agree that under certain versions of Islam, jihad against the U.S. is a most virtuous attempt. The problem is, there are as many versions of Islam as there are of Christianity, and, like Christianity, very few of them agree. As far as I, or most other Americans, are concerned, this young man is guilty of attempted murder, at least, and he was pushing toward using a weapon of mass destruction. If he had succeeded in setting off his bomb, and the plane had crashed in an occupied area, there would have been far more deaths than just the passengers and crew of that plane.

  • 45caliber

Onde thing that I always think is amusing about these people is that Islam states that everyone who commits suicide automatically goes to the bad place rather than Paradise. The clerks who push these people into suicide bombing sort of forget to tell them that.

If if were up to me, I’d have this so-called underwear bomber placed out in a field somewhere, with his underwear filled with explosives, then have the explosives detinated resulting in him being blown to bits. That’s what he wanted. Right? Think about it. If he had succeeded in his mission to blow up the plane, many innocent lives would have been lost. Yes, no Free room and board for this sicky. Blow him up now!

    • eddie47d

If you want to think like a terrorist Anthony then you would be willing to become one. The plot was aborted and he was brought to justice by our American courts and that part of our system worked. You only prove that there are a few Americans who would do the same thing for their “cause”.

      • 45caliber

Anthony wasn’t talking about committing suicide. He was simply talking about helping this guy on to Paradise. And it would save us money as well. There is a difference. If you can’t see it, then you should reevaluate your own thinking.

      • Average Joe

How do you figure that the plot was aborted? He actually set it off…it just went fizzle and made him a bit less of a man….in other words it burned the crap out of him….because the bomb maker screwed up….whether by accident or on purpose. But, the reality is …it wasn’t aborted…plain and simple.

45 Calibur and Average Joe are correct and ed-duh is wrong again. What else is new? If he decided to off himself, this would save taxpayer money and having to hold him for a trail, feed him, clothe him, and give him medical care when he gets sick. It’s a win-win situation. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

P.S. Since he admitted to being guilty, would he still be gassed, electricuted, hung, or shot by firing squad?

All of these young, not yet capable to think for themselves, persons are brainwashed into doing what they are told by their religious leaders, old men, who would not consider doing themselves in for their cause. The promise of 72 virgins in paradise is so obscene, there can’t be any left by now, that it screams to high heaven as lies, lies, lies. The fact that it is done in protest of killing people in a war by the US and therefore they must kill people by blowing up a plane with themselves in it, is truly a brainwashing of Islam, by old men. The hatred is as old as the time of Ishmael, biblical days and it saddens me, to see the escalation of the hatred via propaganda taken from “Mein Kampf”, which is a book proudly displayed in shop windows and in the bazaar’s of the middle east. But I dare say, be aware of facts, Islam announces their desire to take over and make it blatantly clear that this is their aim, dispite our governments constant disclaimer.

      • 45caliber

The promise of 72 virgins IS a lie. You won’t find it in any Muslim Text by Mohammed. It was originated by his nephew who was trying to get men to go assassinate people for him. The same with Paradise.

Islam, as defined in my version of the Quran, does not have any reference to the USA. Of course not, the Quran is supposedly 1400 years old.

But the Quran is very clear on what to do about ‘unbelievers’. Kill, kill, kill. Hide behind a rock, and stab them in the back.

Apologists for Islam will tell you that passages in the Quran are subject to abrogation, that there are later words that negate the previous. Please find, for me, the abrogation of the Kill commandment, I cannot find it.

This pathetic clown must have been declared absolutely expendable. Otherwise, he’d be protected by Obummer and Holder.
So what happened to the ACLU? Have their ‘standards’ changed yet again? Maybe it’s a matter of fellow terrorists not feeling obligated to help other terrorists if their attempts to kill others fail. Too frickin’ bad, eh?

    • eddie47d

You become sicker by the day SC in your anti-Obama fetish. Are you that pathetically sad and lonely that you have to make up stories to get attention. Is this your daily pathological thrill of incessant negativity and droned lies? You could defeat Obama with facts so it’s too bad you always go for the fiction.

The reason, my opinion, for the atheist communist looney liberal union not getting involved is that there is no gain (Political or otherwise) for them. They are like sharks and only come when they smell blood. Next, we both know there is no honor amongst thieves. A terrorist is like a thief. Though they don’t steal material goods, but they do steal hope, dreams, and lives. They just figured that he is just a small fish in a big pond and let him go. You never know. He may be related to Obama bin Laden. They’re both from Africa you know. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

  • Raggs

I wonder if this guy will rat-out the ones that put him up to this?

    • 45caliber

One of the guys just blown up was one of those who talked him into this. And some people wonder why we should have stopped him …

    • kantstanja

      Raggs, Raggs.. Raggs!

“I wonder if this guy will rat-out the ones that put him up to this?”

.. And let someone else take his rightful place in jihad heaven? I think not.. Throughout his trial you’ll notice him standing proudly for his jihad elimination of the infidel, but just as the bars close behind him and reality sets in that he’s gonna be a visitor for as many years as he is currently, he’ll realize that alla (as too his cohorts) doesn’t reward failure, thus miraculously he will find Christianity in prison (in order to slice off a few years for being re-born).. In other words, like the TRUE infidel, he uses religious fanaticism to bare the responsibility for his sick agenda… COWARDS!! All of them.

  • Randy131

This is the only way Eric Holder’s DOJ can win court cases involving terrorist, if they plead guilty. Eric Holder really thinks he’s achieved a great victory here, but in truth, he’s only achieved a lot of luck in this case. I’d hate to see if this man had a real lawyer who defended him to the end, he’d probably be walking right now. Eric Holder has proven why Obama picked him for Attorney General by the lies he’s been caught in, just the same as Obama has many times in his campaign promises. The most open and transparent administration in our history, would be funny if it were not such an obvious lie by Obama.

      To all:

Has anyone had the thought occur to him or her that this whole Underwear bomber caper is just that, a false flag operation to make it LOOK like they apprehended another terrorist? Really, folks, explosives not confined to a closed vessel (with the exception of plastics or det. cord) won’t explode but will burn rapidly. How many times have the underwear pics been shown that looked like anything more than cloth with a little plastic baggie with perhaps white powdered whatever, or cotton in it? Since it didn’t explode, it’s kinda hard to prove a negative. I don’t care WHAT the gov’t boys SAY it was……

      • Average Joe

I agree 100% with your reasoning. In a post above, I mentioned the the bomb maker screwed up….whether accidently or on purpose ( I tend to lean towards the latter). It is amazing how many people do not know about our government’s (as well as other govmnts) history of false flag attacks.

        Hegelian Principle
(or the path to dialectical materialism)

        Planned Change:
        Create conflict
Create opposition to conflict; eg, fear, panic, hysteria.
Offer the solution to the problem created by step one.
Change, which would have been impossible without the proper conditioning (steps one and two), is achieved.

        • metalflyer11

I agree 100%. It has “False Flag” written all over it.
The next one will probably have the bomb up inside his(her) rectum. Get ready for the new “Rectum Scanners” and pat downs at a TSA checkpoint near you.

        • http://naver samurai

You may have an interesting point here, fellow patriot. Good post. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

  • 45caliber

He stated that he was guilty under US law but not Islamic law. I wonder if he expected to be released under Islamic law since he is Muslim. And I wonder how many Muslims, both here and abroad, want him released or jailed. Any on this site who might answer that?

  • Raggs

What about eric holder???? he has done FAR more than this little panty dude to kill Americans… Honestly holder needs to plead guilty of MURDER.

    • http://naver samurai

Well said. Obama must also confess to the sins of lying, treason, and intentionally destroying our economy. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

  • http://gunner689 gunner689

If we can’t put this clown in the chair then the next 40 yrs. or so of his life spent in solitary confinement is a just punishment. Just him and his false god and his evil religion.
