Jackass-in-Chief? That’s an insult to Jackasses, who never lie BTW.
I guess the only good thing to come from this Libya cover-up, is the fact that it has forced The Hildebeast to dismount her broom, and instead use it to sweep the events that lead to the deaths of four Americans under the proverbial rug.

Oh Justice… Wherefore art thou sequestered???

    • JON

Does the “J” stand for jerk?

      • Michael J.

        Jon,
When disarmed, frustrated liberals always fire back with knee-jerk personal attacks. Soooo predictable!

BTW, J. stands for Joseph, as was my parents wishes. And yes I had two parents who each were married only once, and only too each other until death did they part.

      • JeffH

Michael J, and I’d bet both your parents were US citizens when you were born and you are a “natural born citizen” unlike the imposter in the White House who is a naturalized 14th Amendment citizen, a citizen by statute, that held dual citizenship at birth ’cause his daddy was a British Subject.

      • Kate8

JeffH, Michael J. – Boy, do I have a video for you:

        http://www.trevorloudon.com/2012/10/an-urgent-message-for-america-please-help-this-go-viral/

Trevor Loudon is a New Zealander, the author of “Barack Obama and the Enemy Within”, and in this video he tells us what our lamestream media won’t. It explains why we have communist troops on our soil, why Obama is buds with Putin, and what Obama’s true purpose is for America. He pleads with Americans to open their eyes to the truth, and if Obama wins another term, it is over for the world in terms of any hope of freedom.

Forget the British subject thing. Obama is KGB all the way. He is the fulfillment of the Soviet promise to conquer us from within, without firing a shot. (The shooting comes later, when they get rid of those for whom they have no use.) His main objective is to weaken and collapse the American military, as has been the plan all along since Clinton, who opened the doors to gays to create further division. In fact, the reason for the economic collapse is so Americans will accept defunding our military. The enemy knows that Americans will fight for rights. Without a strong military, we are sitting ducks.

And so much more. While we are all focused on the NWO, Illuminati et al, the Russians and Chinese are quietly continuing their takeover. Note the alternative news reports that Russian and Chinese factions are working to take down the NWO. Some even tell us the communist forces are here, on our soil, to “help” us. Sure.

Remember, Revelation tells us there are TWO beasts. There is the first beast, and then a second beast arises with all of the power of the first beast. And the people embrace this new beast who promises peace and safety. “And while they sleep, saying ‘peace and safety’, sudden destruction comes upon them”. We don’t have to be religious fanatics to see that things are unfolding exactly as prophesied.

This video gives us more pieces to the puzzle, and helps fit them all together. I’ll bet his book is a stunner.

      • JeffH

Kate8, I’ll check that link out tomorrow.
In the meantime check this out.

BENGHAZI—WAS THIS A UNITED STATES GUNRUNNING OPERATION TO AL QAIDA JIHADIS?

20 year CIA veteran, Clare Lopez: “Jordan is targeted! Saudi Arabia is targeted!”

■Could the Obama Administration’s Fast and Furious gunrunning operation to the Mexican drug cartels be simply a dress rehearsal for a much larger gunrunning operation to al Qaida-linked and other Jihadist groups in Libya and, more ominously, Syria?
■Is the Obama Administration running guns into other Jihadist hot spots?
■Does the United States of America have troops in Jordan?
■Was Ambassador Stevens our operational officer in a gunrunning operation to al Qaida linked groups that had “gone wrong?”
■Did the Obama Administration set Stevens up and leave him (with former Navy Seals, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods and computer expert, Sean Smith) to die?
■Did President, Secretary Clinton, General Petraeus and others have fore-knowledge?
        ■Others?
        ■Who else knows now?
        ■Does Governor Romney know now?
        http://counterjihadreport.com/2012/10/24/benghazi-was-this-a-united-states-gunrunning-operation-to-al-qaida-jihadis/

      • Michael J.

        Kate8,
Thanks for the link. I am passing it on.

        JeffH,
Yes, my family lineage on this continent strecthes back to 1680 and includes many generations of “Natural born Citizens” unafraid to make sacrifices in the name of freedom.

      • Kate8

No doubt about it, JeffH. O is doing every possible thing to bring down the US, while arming our enemies against us.

Who can stop him? What court will convict him? The court of public opinion? The whole system is corrupt, including large numbers of the general population.

Look at other ways our military is being weakened. They are given terrible vaccines, like anthrax, which begin to break down their bodies. They are exposed to DU. The moral is at an all-time low, and suicides are increasing (suicideds?). They are spread so thin, and required to serve too many tours back to back. They are stressed to the max.

We are in deeper trouble than we know. I listen to the “militia” updates on the site I posted, but even he told us that the Russian and Chinese troops were here to ‘help’. He’s said some other things that caused me concern, too, that he either is being fed misinfo or is counter intel. He swears he’s legit, but that back-woodsie speach… that is a technique used to put people at ease. I heard him on a UK broadcast and he’d somehow lost that backwoodsie dialect. Guess the Brits wouldn’t relate to that like we dummies.

It’s ALL lies, JeffH. And we all know that, no matter how this election comes out, if there is an election at all, there will be huge cries of foul play.

God help us. God save us from ourselves. With idiots like we have among us, who needs enemies.

      • Kate8

JeffH, Michael J. – Here’s yet another video questioning Obama’s loyalites.

This one is short (4 minutes).

        http://www.impeachobamacampaign.com/video-whose-side-is-barack-obama-on/

Let’s not forget that the communists and Islam have been allied for a very long time.

      • Kate8
      • JeffH

Kate8, thanks for posting the links. One paragraph in the WP article kinda stood out to me:

“Meanwhile, a significant milestone looms: The number of militants and civilians killed in the drone campaign over the past 10 years will soon exceed 3,000 by certain estimates, surpassing the number of people al-Qaeda killed in the Sept. 11 attacks.”
        http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/plan-for-hunting-terrorists-signals-us-intends-to-keep-adding-names-to-kill-lists/2012/10/23/4789b2ae-18b3-11e2-a55c-39408fbe6a4b_story.html

And the O’man loving progressives just continue to enable these types of programs. Due diligence is all that’s needed but they’re so focused with their hatred of the truly patriotic Americans that they’ll end up being the least prepared when TSHTF! I, for one, will do what I feel is necessary to protect myself, my family and my patriotic brothers and sisters before I’d deprive liberty by trying to save these morons.

      • JeffH

Kate8, another issue I’m interested in is to research and find out if the menengitis outbreak caused by NECC Pharmacies is just another piece of the UN/Global Agenda 21 depopulation program. I wouldn’t be surprised if it were.

      • Kate8

JeffH – I recently read something about just that thing. I wish I could remember where.
I have wondered about this a long time. I mean, duh.

I believe the allopathic medical field (which was founded by the elder Rockefeller) had this in mind from the beginning. First rake in massive profits, and then use it to control the masses, including life spans. Don’t forget, they employed NAZI doctors and scientists in their research (Operation Paperclip).

It has been reported that vaccines are used to shorten lifespans and decrease IQ. The PTB have employed every conceivable method of inflicting damage. Drugs all do the same thing, as they are not bio-compatible, and interfere with our body’s energy systems. Think of an orchestra playing a symphony. When you throw in anything which disrupts the free flow of energy to our organ systems, one or more instruments are knocked out of tune, and the whole symphony is out of key, out of sync, and degenerates from there.

Guardasil is a recent example of what is being done to people, children, besides the devastating effects of vaccinations from the time of birth forward. Flu shots? Yikes.
These things contain poisons, animal and human DNA, and God knows what.

Look how many people are on medications, from childhood on. Is it an accident that such large numbers of Americans are obese, sickly and suffer from so much organ failure? Not to mention are docile and compliant to pretty much anything BigBro throws at them.

I did a quick search, and found this:

        http://www.naturalnews.com/028272_prescription_drugs_population_control.html

        and this:

        There is more available.

Ah yes, the personal attack. Classic 5th column strategy. Here is one showing that your messiah Obama bin Laden is losing his grip.

        http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/10/obamas_taqqiya_unravels.html

FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! 하나님하고 나라를 위해서!

You need both love of country and fear of God to be a patriot.

“We have appointed a continental fast. Millions will be on their knees at once before their great Creator, imploring His forgiveness and blessing His smiles on American counsils and arms.”

        John Adams

Maybe we should participate in another nationwide fast?

      • sam1966

Here is something else about Obama bin Laden.

        http://www.cowboybyte.com/14358/gallop-obamas-job-approval-drops-7-points-in-3-days/

FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! 하나님하고 나라를 위해서!

You need both love of country and fear of God to be a patriot.

“And all here assembled, whether belonging to public life or to private life, with hearts devotely thankful to Almighty God for the preservation of the liberty and happiness of this country, unite is sincere and fervent prayers that this deposit, and the walls and arches, the domes and the towers, the columns and the entablatures now to be erected over it may endure forever.”

        Daniel Webster

    • Lori V.

Honestly Michael J. you need a “spew alert!” Coffee through the nose so early in the morning can be quite painful. I. Am. Still. Laughing.

    • eddie47d

Michael is only eager for another war and doesn’t really care about facts. He wants instant reaction and then instant action such as in Benghazi. Maybe if our leaders had thought out the Gulf of Tonkin incident we never would have gone to war in Vietnam. President Johnson,Dean Rusk and Robert McNamara used that rush to judgement as a pretense to escalate our involvement. Obama didn’t make that mistake and is looking at all aspects of the Benghazi attack to avoid more carnage. If we want a democracy in Libya then we need to avoid a civil war not provoke the situation further. The culprits will be found and then we can send a message to those who did it by showing how civilized nations operate. (Most of the time) Either through a fair trial and possible execution.

      • Michael J.

        eddie47d said:
“The culprits will be found and then we can send a message to those who did it by showing how civilized nations operate.”

Yes, right now there are four indigenous desert nomads wandering the Libyian counrtyside who have no idea that they are about to be scapegoated.

      • oldagg

Well there are differences: 1. Tonkin NEVER Happened, it was a lie from beginning to end. 2. We have instant world wide commo today we did not have then hence we knew what was happening in Mid-east. and 3 Nobody died in “Tonkin” – 4 people are dead here.

That being said – if both parties and all administrations had more carefully thought out the last 20 eyars – we wouldn’t be in this mess. OH! I could have listened to Ron Paul!
        oldagg

      • Les

I guess Øbama is thinking out all those drone strikes on Americans in the middle east. Some fair trial there junior….

There is a lot of thinking going on all the time in the District of Corruption, it’s called CYA.

      • mark h

Are you really serious with this comment! That’s all you have is about war? And the prez. is getting his facts straight before doing anything that might cause civil war in Libya? He knew within 2 hours of this TERROR attack exactly what it was. You are one naive baby. He caused civil was and unrest in those middle east countries by standing with his muslim brotherhood when Mubarek was a friend of ours. He suggested that Mubarek leave Egypt. What a joke your comment was and very offensive to this Viet Nam veteran.

      • Palin16

Ah yes, another dumbocrat-started war, Vietnam. LBJ: “Bird, I’ll be damned if I’m gonna go down in history as the only President that lost a war. Now where’s them damn dawgs so I can pickem up by their ears?”

      • eddie47d

Since you served in Vietnam Mark then how did you like being deceived in that action? I would call that offensive. Apparently that is how Iraq evolved because some Americans swallowed those same false flag operations as their patriotic duty. We also bought and paid for Murbarak at the tune of $4 billion a year. Ever ask yourself why he left office with billions in his pockets. It certainly wasn’t from oil wells! Maybe you are the naive one!

      • eddie47d

comment to Michael and Mark missing as of one hour ago.

      • Hal

        >>> “Maybe if our leaders had thought out the Gulf of Tonkin incident …”:
HOW THE HELL DO YOU THINK THE WHOLE THING TOOK PLACE?!?!?

      • nickkin

How do you define “carnage” you fool….4 dead americans. Take your history facts and put them back in your blow-hole….obuzzo should be impeached and put in Gitmo along with his muzzie brothers….Panetta can look @ live feed all day and translate it into a cartoon before he would recognize what the real deal is=American deaths….Rice, Cutter and ugly hillary are guilty as charged…..apparently eddie, you heart is in your rear….you and others like you that defend these treasonist fools belong on an island where you all “eat your own”. Defend the enemy in the wh……..reason for the dems mascot of a jackass….he-haw you asses.

      • Mikey

Sheeple like Eddie will defend Obama regardless of what he does (or doesn’t do). They are so blinded by the media-fed liberal dogma, that even when confronted with provable facts, they continue to justify poor policy making and decisions. Obama could commit rape and murder, and in the eyes of these fools, it would be justifiable. At this point, it is probably better for subscribers of the PLD to simply ignore eddie47d (as well as others like Robert Smith, Karolyn, and Jon). By returning comments to them, we only encourage more destructive leftist rhetoric.

      • http://PersonalLibertyDigest Tattoomama

Your position is ludicrous and cannot be supported by available facts:
Fact: “Officials at the White House and State Department were advised two hours after attackers assaulted the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11 that an Islamic militant group had claimed credit for the account, official emails show.” ~Reuters 10/23/12 9:11 pm EDT
Fact: “. . . The Benghazi attack may have been planned in advance” and that members of Ansar al-Sharia “may have been involved.”~Ahmad Jibril, Libyan ambassador to the U.K., tells BBC; Reuters 9/12/12
Fact: 9/13/12 Ali Suleiman Aujali, Libyan Ambassador to the U.S., apologizes to Clinton for ” . . . this terrorist attack which took place against the American Consulate in Libya.”
Fact: “It was not an innocent mob. The video or 9/11 made a handy excuse and could be fortuitous from their prospective but this was a clearly planned military-style attack.” ~9/13/12 CNN reports unnamed “State Department officials”
Fact: ” . . .This leaves us with no doubt that this has preplanned, determined–predetermined. It was planned definitely . . .” ~Mohamed Yousef El-Magarief, President of Libya, 9/16/12 “Face The Nation”
Fact: “The idea that this criminal and cowardly attack was a spontaneous protest that just spun our of control is completely unfounded and preposterous. We firmly believe that this was a precalculated, preplanned attack that was carried out specifically to attack the U.S. Consulate.” ~President Magarief of Lybia, 9/16/12, NPR interview
Fact: “WE’RE STILL DOING AN INVESTIGATION.” 9/24/12 the “idiot-in-chief” on The View answering a question posed by “Joy Blowhard”

Just who the he11 do you believe is more credible and more likely to know what happened?!?!? I’m thinking that when the Libyan officials tell me it was a terrorist attack, I’m much more likely to believe them than I am to believe the current resident in the White House who thinks that a good time on the links is more important than attending security briefings!

      • ssgrick

WERE you BORN a doofus or have you practiced your ENTIRE life to be one? The Gulf of Tonkin was an orchestrated event start to finish. Johnson wanted that war just as much as his advisers did. It has been a lie since it happened but was done to help keep the focus off of the JFK investigations.

Michael is only eager for another war and doesn’t really care about facts. He wants instant reaction and then instant action such as in Benghazi.

Since the administration was warned far in advance of the clear danger to the Americans in Benghazi, it is clear that Michael is not asking for instant action. Just intelligent preparedness. That too was denied by the obama administration.

      • eddie47d

Nickkin: If Obama is a “treasonous fool” then G Bush/Cheney would then be charged as masochistic war criminals and would be swinging from the gallows. So you know where you can stick you slick and easy pot shots!

      • eddie47d

ssgrick: That was a poor excuse if I’ve ever seen one. Wrong choices by any president is inexcusable but please name one that hasn’t made big mistakes or had cover ups. So far Benghazi is being investigated and were still waiting for Cheney and company to apologize for that administrations misdeeds.

      • eddie47d

Well Mikey you seem to be the new KIng of destructive comments. I’ll kindly remember your own advice and treat you like the pariah you are! You are one sick and distorted dude and maybe you should be “raped” to know the feeling! From official Republican comments that seems to be your side of the fence that endorses rape!

      • eddie47d

Hal; You are correct for it was the same way the Iraq war was implemented. G Bush said he was going into Iraq BEFORE he was even elected. WMDs were just an excuse.

      • sam1966

Wrong, wrong, wrong ed-duh. There were WMD’s in Iraq at one time, so please stop the SSDD rants, OK?

FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! 하나님하고 나라를 위해서!

You need both love of country and fear of God to be a patriot. This shows that Obama bin Laden is lying about the whole Lybia thing. As Gomer Pyle used to say, “Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!”

    • Sailor

JackAss or DumbAss what’s the difference….hmmm..let me see, traitor perhaps? that is how I see that bone head…Impeachment is in order but it is also too late…wonder what his life will be like once he is out of office…bet he will be dodging…and not candy….

      Justice and Truth always prevails.!

      • The GLB

Truth and Justice will prevail when Jesus Christ returns, but I wouldn’t count on truth and justice happening while “the prince of the power of the air” Eph 2:2 is still the prince of this world.

All one must do is look at how many people get away with the worst atrocities and are never even charged for these crimes let alone found guilty, e.g. Barack, George, William, George. There is evidence against all of these men that they were involved in the deaths of ‘innocents’, yet they, while they are alive, will never ever receive their just punishment for their actions.

So go on thinking truth and justice prevails, but alas that only happens in super hero comic books.

Impeach this POST TURTLE! Impeach this POST TURTLE! Impeach this POST TURTLE! Impeach this POST TURTLE! Impeach this POST TURTLE! Impeach this POST TURTLE! Impeach this POST TURTLE! Impeach this POST TURTLE!

You may ask what a post turtle is….Obama is a POST TURTLE! When you’re driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that’s a post turtle. Need more clarification….You know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong up there, he doesn’t know what to do while he’s up there, he’s elevated beyond his ability to function, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put him up there to begin with.

      • Mikey

Warrior, great analogy. It’s time to shake the post.

      • Michael J.

        Warrior,
Nice, I guess the only way to improve on the thought would be if he were impaled on the post. But no, that might represent a fullfillment of fantasy he might enjoy.

      • Jeff

Let’s see. On the Perfect Moron Scale, you being 100 and Einstein being a 0, W was about a 90 and Obama might be a 20. The 20 would be for his attempts to work with Republicans who’d rather see the country go into depression than give him a single victory.

        • Frank Kahn

Please elucidate the ATTEMPTS that Obama made to improve our economy.

Please stop using superlatives incorrectly, they did not block EVERY attempt at Obama changes.

      • ssgrick

What an absolutely elegant way to describe the least qualified person in any room he occupies. Please may I borrow your reference to our Post Turtle in Chief for future use?
If the Post Turtle is reelected it may help me to become one of the first imprisoned under the new DICTATORSHIP that will evolve from such a mistake.

        • Jeff

I generally avoid engaging with insane people, but I have to ask. Why will Obama become a DICTATOR in his second term when he did not in his first?

      • Palin16

Jeff, because Obummer himself said he’d have more flexability after his election. He’s already bypassed Congress and refuses to defend the Constitution as he swore to do on inauguration day, notably in Libya and giving out work permits for illegal aliens. We can’t afford 4 more years of Obummer or you’re looking at Greece with 25% unemployment. Barry is a marxist and wants to be just like Stalin, a dictator.

        • Jeff

There are no words to adequately describe the stupidity of your post.

      • Karolyn

I really don’t get it. is Obama a dictator or is he controlled by the NWO? Would you guys make up your minds? According to you with esp, he is whatever goes along with your information at the time.

        • Jeff

It’s whatever fits. Obama is a dictator the morons can vote out of office. Just like Stalin and Hitler. Then they say he will be a dictator if he’s re-elected. I missed the part in the Hitler biography where he got re-elected before he could begin his reign of terror. If you’re a right wing loon, you don’t let logic stand in the way of a good narrative.

      • sam1966

I see that Jeff is still full of crap. Vote him out like they could Hitler and Stalin? Since they controlled everything, how could they be voted out? Need to restudy your history Jeff.

        http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-TV/2012/10/28/Report-Obama-Watched-Benghazi-Attack-From-Situation-Room

Jeff have you got your free Obamaphone yet? Better hurry, time’s running out.

        • Jeff

Even Chrysler says Romney should join Cirque de Soleil. Maybe you can use your new phone to buy tickets.

        • Jeff

Did you and Warrior get promoted to something above minimum wage and get called post turtles or what? You think this video will be enough to sink Von Mittens and his band of Misogynists? If you’re a woman and you vote for Romney, you’d probably marry Joey Buttafuoco!

          http://front.moveon.org/you-dont-own-me-mourdock-romney-and-ryan-you-dont-so-back-off/?rc=daily.share

          • Frank Kahn

You are absolutely right, anyone who would vote for a candidate that stooped to that stupid video deserves to lose. Almost agreed with the sentiment till the idiots put up the part about the affordable healthcare act. That is not an issue that has anything to do with women, anymore than it has to do with men. It is bad for both.

As for the rest of it, go soak your head in a tub of vinegar, so I dont have to smell your women’s libber odor.

The only item on the displayed actions that MIGHT be against women (and for innocent children) is the R V W (Roe VS Wade) decision of the supreme court. And there are only two legal ways to overturn that decision 1. pass a law prohibiting abortions, 2. Have the Supreme Court revisit the abortion issue. Neither of those are actions that a president has the authority to do.

There are only two times when abortion is even marginally justifiable rape and life threatening to the pregnant mother.

Under no circumstances should I have to pay for an abortion. Nor should I have to pay for a females planned parenthood benefits. I am not responsible for anything that is for women only. I strongly object to the video claiming these are women’s rights issues.

And, if I was a woman I certainly would not want my gender to be a reason that I was responsible for putting Obama back into the White House.

I would also like you to explain, with provable facts, how Romney is more of a misogynist than Obama.

Considering the high probability that Obama was conditioned by his Muslim heritage to think of women as third class citizens, I would think that his mind set would more closely resemble misogynistic thoughts.

And, all you Obama lovers, dont get all upset and say Obama is not a Muslim. I did not say he was (although I think he probably is), I am saying that he was exposed to the Muslim traditions and beliefs during his formative years. The beliefs you form in that stage of your development are difficult to overcome.

Now, this might sound wrong, or maybe anti-woman, but the issues surrounding your reproductive system is not the big concern.

If you want to have unrestrained, unprotected sex, that is your prerogative. If you get pregnant, and want to kill your baby before it is born, that is currently your prerogative. If you want taxpayers to pay for it, that is not your prerogative.

If you object to Romney “De-funding” something because it affects your ability to get something for free, then you are a problem for this country. Government needs to reduce its spending, it needs to stop funding things that are not its concerns. If they cant get rid of stupid programs like planned parenthood and government sponsored abortions then what can they get rid of?

tt iOn the (give money to the healthcare industry) AHCA, thas not a benefit for me. I dont have health insurance now and dont need it. I will not bow down to that fool Obama just because he wants something. I cant afford health insurance, I dont want anyone else to pay for me to have health insurance, and I will not be robbed by Obama for not getting health insurance.

The solution to the problem of having so many ignorant voters electing Obama to ruin our lives is forbidden to say because there are laws against it. But, lets put it this way, Obama is using his (imagined) authority to steal everyone’s money, he believes the government has the right to walk right into my home and take whatever they want.

Now, assuming that they are normal people ( yes I am stretching it a little there) and they walk into my home and try to take my stuff (breaking and entering with intent to commit theft) and they are armed. What do you think I will do with my 44 magnum semi-automatic pistol? In the state where I live, that is called protecting your property, and if the intruder is armed you are authorized to use deadly force to protect yourself.

Extreme? Maybe, but so are the concepts of Obama’s executive orders.

          • Jeff

You won’t get health insurance, but if you need medical care you’ll receive it. I just hope the decision whether to treat you or let you die is made by someone a bit more enlightened than you are.

          • Frank Kahn

Actually Jeff, you are both right and wrong, and you show a lack of human compassion in the final remark.

I dont need health insurance. That is a fact. How that is a fact, you dont know. Your assumption that I would be a leech on society if I suddenly needed health care is flawed.

I have over 8 years of military service which qualifies me, and EARNED me the RIGHT to use the service of the VA hospital system. Now, you might say that, considering the co-pays and other coverage issues, the VA is my health insurance. But no matter how you view it, I dont need to buy health insurance.

The AHCA does nothing to address the problem we have with healthcare in this country. It MIGHT provide access to more people, but it will not cause the price of care to diminish. As for the use of emergency rooms as a primary care option. I hear many people talking like it is only used by uninsured people, because it is free that way to them. Well, that is vastly mistaken, many people with health insurance are forced to use the emergency room because the policies deny coverage for many types of medical services. Now IF the AHCA took the decisions about what is necessary and right out of the hands of people that are neither the doctor(s) or the patient then it would be doing something good. But, from what I have heard this is not the case, there will still be ignorant people deciding what is acceptable treatments for medical care. And by ignorant I mean someone who is not the doctor(s) on the case and not the patient. If they are not either of these they have no real knowledge of the actual situation involved.

          • Jeff

I realize the Healthcare Act is only nibbling around the edges of the problem. I wanted to see a single payer system or a public option. I think we will eventually have a single payer system (probably 2-tiered so Mitt Romney can still have his orifices probed with golden instruments), but eventually can be a very long time. I think on balance the ACA does some good; I just wonder if the cost of coverage for someone with a pre-existing condition can be made affordable.

Surely you see how foolish is the Romney position. He doesn’t want to simply say if you have no insurance and you get sick, you die. That kind of rhetoric works in a Republican primary (They’re such wonderful people.), but not in a general election. So, the etch-a-sketch comes up with “you will get treated in the ER.” First, that’s incredibly inefficient. Second, if you suffer a heart attack or a broken leg, the ER will patch you up. But what about follow-up care or preventive care that for a fraction of the cost might have prevented the heart attack? And what about cancer therapy or insulin for diabetics? The ER is hardly the answer.

          • Frank Kahn

First of all, I would never advocate a single payer system because no matter how well intentioned it is by definition a monopoly. No monopoly can be trusted to maintain a self imposed fair cost / benefit ratio.

While you have good points about healthcare maintenance, the creation of a “everyone is covered for everything” approach is destined to fail due to the cost burden. It is not the availability of healthcare that is the issue, it is the cost. If the cost of services and medicine was brought back to a reasonable level, more people could afford health insurance because the premiums would come down. And a pre-existing condition is not the only way that the insurance company denies you. They have limits on the amount of care they will pay for. They also can cancel your insurance for many reasons, after you are cancelled then you are automatically a person with a pre-existing condition.

At one time when I did have insurance, with Blue Cross Blue Shield, they tried to deny coverage for a service that my primary care physician had authorized. So I can attest that health insurance companies dont always play by the book. So would forcing me to buy their insurance guarantee that I would be covered?

I have not read the whole AHCA, have not had the time to devote to analyzing such a big and complex document. I dont know if it addresses enough of the REAL issues that need to be taken care of for true improvement of healthcare. I dont believe that it is legal or proper for our government to require everyone to buy insurance though.

          • Jeff

The problem with the cost argument is that countries with the single payer system have outcomes better than ours (at the lower end) for roughly half the cost. I am sure we will maintain a private system for those at the top, but when lower middle class people in the northern part of the country are sneaking into Canada to get free medical care and prescriptions, something is going to have to change. Our current employer-based system is also hurting large employers in their competition with non-U.S. companies who do not have to factor into their prices the cost of insuring employees. I think increasingly more and more employers will stop covering their employees as prices continue to rise. When regular middle class people start to fee the pinch, something will give. A problem is never really a problem until it hits white, middle class suburbanites. Then it’s a catastrophe.

          • Frank Kahn

I will agree that Countries like Canada have lower cost healthcare, especially medicines. However, this may not be and should not be attributed solely to the one payer system. For instance, many prescription drugs that are sold in Canada which come from US drug companies, are sold at less than half the cost charged here. This is not due to the insurance setup, it is due to the fact that we pay all the costs of R&D while other countries just pay the cost of manufacture.

I will agree also that our government responds better when a problem hits the rich as opposed to the poor but I dont like limiting it to white middle class suburbanites. It is generally human nature to ignore or pass off as not serious any bad situation that does not directly affect ourselves. Many people ignore the plight of the homeless until they are suddenly in the same condition.

          • Jeff

I don’t pretend to know why costs are lower in Canada, either. Maybe the government uses its leverage and negotiates good deals on drug prices. Also, insurance companies are not raking 20% or more off the top. I don’t know if the ACA will be a big help or not, but it’s a start. And I find laughable the objections to it – gov’t takeover, somebody between you and your doctor, death panels. Who do they think is between them and their doctor now? An insurance company with the power of life and death. And you can’t even vote them out of office. You can switch to a different company, but once you’ve got a condition, it’s probably too late to switch.

Health insurance is a unique product, uniquely unsuited to common law contract law. The insurance company knows everything about the product; the consumer knows nothing. The consumer doesn’t know what health conditions may arise in the future so you need to be covered for most anything. It’s not like buying a condo at the beach. It’s far more a matter of national concern requiring public policy responses. How will we compete against other countries whose populations will be healthier than ours?

          • Frank Kahn

So many issues, yes, I understand that there is an ignorant person between you and the doctor when you have health insurance. It is basically their job to control the expenses of the company as opposed to the best interest of the insured. However, it is not a better solution to have someone that is appointed by the president stand between us either.

I forget the link to my source, but if you search for the truth about the ACA you should be able to find the report. It details why the ACA will fail to accomplish its intended goal. It involves an elaborate predictive model that has to be used to determine the viability of insuring groups of people. It is so complex that even the insurance company cant be certain about the results in real life. These people are experts on looking at trends and cost for evaluating their profitability. I am certain that a bureaucrat will have no chance at all making a well reasoned decision. Let alone the public. So public policy is a big NO WAY. Public policy will not influence trends in the need for healthcare services.

You might want to do some research regarding your final question. It appeared like you think we are healthier than other counties. Actually, even though we have the most expensive healthcare system, we dont have the best care. Our citizens are actually less healthy than much of the world already. True good health is never obtained through pharmaceuticals it is lifestyle, how you eat and exercise, how much stress you are under. And amazingly one of the most important parts of your diet is the consumption of water.

In this country most of us eat greasy foods and drink soda or coffee or some other sugary beverage. These things are bad for your health. And if you create a problem with cholesterol, then you take drugs to control it which destroy your liver. If you pay attention to the advertisements for drugs these days, it is scary. Many of them will cure your problem but you will die from the side effects.

      • Palin16

No Jeff, I don’t get any government freebies unlike you. The first of the month is almost here. Time for your welfare check so you can buy more drugs in the hood.

        • Jeff

Why do you assume anyone who disagrees with you is on welfare? Is that just one of the symptoms of CONGENITAL STUPIDITY? Believe it or not, many successful people do not merely vote themselves a tax break. Romney, like Bush before him, just happens to have economic policies that will benefit himself. What a helluva guy!

      • Palin16

Why do you assume anyone who does not vote for Obummer is a racist?

        • Jeff

I don’t, but some of the comments I hear and read ARE racist. Sununu’s comments are clearly racist. Many Romney voters are committed Republicans who wouldn’t vote for a Democrat of any color. That doesn’t preclude some of them from also being somewhat racist.

      • Palin16

I voted for one democrat, my county treasurer. I’ve met her before twice and she was very nice to me, even sent me a thank you letter for taking her photo during St Patrick’s day parade. All the rest republicans. Not that it will count, the voting machines in Nevada are rigged by Harry Reid and SEIU.

I see once again that Jeff prefers for people to get something by sitting on their backsides and not working. I guess you don’t believe in self reliance and personal responsibility, just like the average 5th columner. I guess Jeffy doesn’t know about how there are too many on the government dole these days.

        http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/medicaid-and-medicare-enrollees-now-outnumber-full-time-private-sector-workers

Does this fit in with your lies, rhetoric, and innuendo Jeffy? FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! 하나님하고 나라를 위해서!

You need both love of country and fear of God to be a patriot.

        • Jeff

I find it hard to believe you could be a teacher. A 5th grader I could believe. But a teacher? With your wise ass manner? I don’t think so. What would Jesus think – his main disciple talking in such a disrespectful (and stupid) manner?

      • sam1966

Ah yes, no intelligence on any matter, so you give out a personal attack. If all you are going to do is post personal attacks, then stay home. You sound like someone I worked with once and he claims to be a intellectual. But alas! He is just the oppposite. He is actually blatanly ignorant. Why don’t you remember this:

“In the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior. The Declaration of Independence laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity.”

        John Quincy Adams

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious (Christian) people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

        John Adams

Public utility pleads most forcibly for the distribution of the Holy Scriptures. The doctrine they preach, the obligations they impose, the punishment they threaten, the rewards they promise, the stamp and image of divinity they bear, which produces a conviction of their truths, can alone secure to society, order and peace, and to our courts of justice and constitutions of government, purity, stability and usefulness. In vain, without the Bible, we increase penal laws and draw entrenchments around our institutions. Bibles are strong entrenchments. Where they abound, men cannot pursue wicked courses, and at the same time enjoy quiet conscience.”

        James McHenry
        Signer of the Constitution

These 3 gentlemen and founders are saying just the opposite of what you and you ilk are trying to say. Ergo, you are all just spouting lies. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! 하나님하고 나라를 위해서!

Republicans still don’t know the difference between rape and consenual sex. They must be taking notes from the Mongol Hordes who raped and pillaged their way through Asia and Eastern Europe. If R-Aikens of Missouri wasn’t enough ( “rape is legitamite”) then comes along R-Mourdoch of Indiana (rape is God’s will”). Since Republicans have been gang raping Obama for 4 years I reckon this is just a natural extension of their thought process..

      • Average Joe

“Republicans still don’t know the difference ”
All republicans think exactly alike now? I guess by those terms so must all Democrats…
If your assertions are true, then why are some Republicans voting for 3rd party candidates while others are voting for Romney? Why are some Democrats voting for 3rd party candidates while others are voting for Obama? Why are some voters not voting at all?
Take a few moments to pull your collective head from the collective backside of the person in front of you …and stop eating the crap they are feeding you. eddie47d must have a public school education, as he demonstrates a complete lack of English comprehension. Todd Akin did not say “rape is legitamite [sic]” and Mourdock did not say “rape is God’s will.” The former distinguished — poorly — between a case of actual rape (meaning forcible rape) and statutory rape or alleged rape. The latter merely said that IF pregnancy resulted from a rape, the pregnancy was God’s will; this is basically a tautological statement, since no human pregnancy can result without God’s intervening creative act, regardless of the circumstances preceding that act. On the other hand, you probably do know that you’re misrepresenting their statements. Like all leftists, you’re merely tossing about red herrings.

      • Buster the Anatolian

“On the other hand, you probably do know that you’re misrepresenting their statements.”

There is no probably to it. If eddie did not deliberately misrepresent statements he would not have anything to argue against.

      • eddie47d

Average Joe that is no different than you all placing all Democrats,Progressives or Liberals in the same boat with out a tinkers damn whether it is true or not. Now when you have the courage to tell those Republicans who do that then YOU will be credible. By the way I didn’t know that you were an expert on lips or are you trying to put a square peg in a round hole.

      • eddie47d

Big Easy Sleazy is another one who doesn’t know the different between rape and consensual sex. Never mind we always know where your thought process is gutter-man!

      • eddie47d

Not at all Buster and Sam. If Mourdock wants to use God to enforce his distorted beliefs then he’ll have to answer to Him. Mourdock and Akin’s are the ones misrepresenting words to invoke passion and throwing around “red herrings”. Maybe those two can find a time slot on the Rush Limbaugh show.

      • Frank Kahn

Now, I dont know the man, but I can give an example that makes the statement “legitimate rape” a correct and reasonable one.

I am not supporting the contention that a woman’s body can somehow prevent pregnancies when she is raped.

However, there are legitimate rapes and rapes that are not legit. The statement does not state that there is an actual rape that is not legit, it means that there are accusations of rape that are not true. And in our country rape has a very broad definition. Did you know that giving a woman enough alcohol to get drunk before having sex with her can be called rape? And, it is rape even if she consented to sex before drinking. If a 19 year old boy has sex with a 15 year old girl it is rape, because she has not attained the age of consent. So even in rape you have to delineate between forcible rape and other conditions that are considered rape.

I read about a case where a teenaged girl got pregnant. Since she was pretending to be a virgin to her parents, she claimed rape. She even identified the rapist. The young man was arrested and charged with rape (just because the girl said so). The only thing that saved the boy was the fact that the girls best friend new the truth. The girl had not been a virgin for over a year and had had several partners. She went to the boy with the intention of having sex. NOW eddie47d THAT IS AN EXAMPLE OF A RAPE THAT WAS NOT LEGITIMATE.

I dont want to get any women upset, thinking I have something against the reporting legitimate rape. I think what the girl did was actually criminal and it gives legitimate rape accusations a harder time when it comes to being believed.

      • Frank Kahn

Also eddie47d your use of quotes was wrong, he did not say what you quoted.

      • eddie47d

Maybe Joe and I can “seek help” at the same clinic then! LOL

      • eddie47d

There is no such thing as a legitimate rape Frank. It is either consensual sex or forced sex(rape). My granddaughter ,15 ,was raped last year and the guy was convicted. There was a case in the paper today ( in India) where the mother and her 16 year old daughter both were assaulted. The town citizens questioned said that the 16 year old “could have avoided rape by being married then it wouldn’t have happened”. Totally oblivious to the mother who endured the same ordeal. There are screwed up people all over the world.

        • Frank Kahn

eddie47d, I understand that you are mentally challenged so I will try again to explain what legitimate means. Legitimate means that it is true, actual and a fact. It does not mean that it is okay to rape. A rape that is not legitimate is one that was not actually rape, false, not true.

As to your contention that all rape is forcible sex, that is not true either, as I said before, you can be accused of rape for the simple fact that the woman was drunk at the time of consent. Even though a female consents to sex, it can still be called rape. In some states they dont differentiate between statutory rape and just plain rape. In that case a 14 year old girl that is willing to have sex is considered to have been raped if the man is more than 3 years older than her say 19 or older.

I am sorry to hear that your granddaughter was raped, whether it was forcible or statutory. I hope she can recover from the trauma.

      • sam1966

Your granddaughter was raped ed-duh? She has our sympathies, for Sook Young has worked with patients of rape in the ICU/CCU ward of Elkhart General Hospital before. I hope she is OK and has made the way towards recovery, both physical and emotional.

During debate night Romney said “Syria is Iran’s route to the sea”. Romney’s “knowledge” of geography is duly noted since Iran doesn’t connect to Syria and has its own sea route on its southern border. We need to clear that up before he bombs the wrong country. He also says that by increasing the defense budget by $2.1 trillion it will make us stronger and reduce the debt. Some can say Obama is fuzzy at math but Romney just told a whopper! A larger military budget will only give Washington more toys to play with and more wars to start. No thanks Romney I believe G Bush gave us more than enough!

Ok eddie, geography wizard, here’s a question for you. If Turkey were to attack Syria from the rear, would they use Greece?

      • Palin16

I can’t wait till the election’s over and Eddie, Alex, and JON start crying with Chrissy Mathews and Madcow

      • eddie47d

Michael should that be Romney answer or is that a stupid Republican question? LOL! Why would Greece have to be involved? They could either invade straight on or take the long way with the permission of Jordan through the Gulf of Aqaba

      • http://alsina846.wordpress.com millie

funny, LOL over Ben’s eye remark

      • JeffH

        Palin 16, they’ve been crying for 3 years now…and fawning over O’man like Matthews…tingle, tingle, tingle…now it’s tinkle, tinkle, tinkle…such a warm feeling!

        Michael J., :) :)

      • Palin16

JeffH, ain’t it the truth! Even when the liberals have the WH, the Senate, and the House you’d think they’d be happy but then they find something to cry about. They were ridin’ high when Obummer beat McCain but within weeks the whole Blagojevich fiasco came about and all the libs started unraveling from then on….losing Teddy Kennedy’s seat to a Republican, 2010 midterms biggest turnover in history (with pelosi losing Speaker) and then Scott Walker victory in Wisconsin. The writing’s on the wall.

      • Michael J.

        eddie47d,

      • JeffH

Michael J, like evrything else…that went right over eddie’s empty head…I can still hear sounds of the wind whistling through his tunnel.

      • eddie47d

There is no comprehension problems only stupid questions being asked by wasted Republicans looking for a quick fix. Jeff and Michael can now get back to their shared needles.

Romney wasn’t my first choice, but we need him to to dump Obamacare and to stop wasting money on Solyndra-type boondoggles, as well as to enforce DOMA.

      • saminia

Joe, there’s a big difference between Romney and Obama. Romney doesn’t hate the country. Obama & the First Moocher do.

      • eddie47d

Yes Saminia, Romney has at least $250 million from milking this country. If money is love then he has an abundance. At least in the Cayman Islands and Switzerland. One of his pledges is to provide training for the American workforce. Please tell me how he and Ryan is going to do that if he wants to slash the budget by 33%. How is he going to do that since Republicans consistently refuse to pass any legislation that offers any help or even jobs. No money = no training so I would think that is another false promise by Romney. All candidates make generous promises but have no way of covering those costs and Mitt is no different.

      • Palin16

edduh, FYI John Kerry (D-MAss) has approximately 4 times the money that Romney has.
Remember when he moved his luxurious yacht to Rhose Island to escape taxes in Taxachusettes?

      • Buster the Anatolian

“edduh, FYI John Kerry (D-MAss) has approximately 4 times the money that Romney has.
Remember when he moved his luxurious yacht to Rhose Island to escape taxes in Taxachusettes?”

Ah but don’t you know Palin it is OK to do it if you are Kerry or any other democrat. It is only wrong if you are a Republican

      • Average Joe

        Palin16 ,

“Romney wasn’t my first choice, but we need him to to dump Obamacare and to stop wasting money on Solyndra-type boondoggles, as well as to enforce DOMA.”

I certainly hope you aren’t holding your breath waiting on Romney to do those things….breathe……
Romney doesn’t even make it on my “maybe” list of candidates………. I’ll stick with Gary Johnson…thanks……

        saminia,

Pardon me, while I laugh hysterically for days…..gullible much? (psst…you do know that they are both “big government, one world order” guys…right?) They both hate our national sovereignty and our Constitution…since both…”get in the way” of thier plans for the world as they see it. If you are still in denial and hold a belief that they are somehow “different”, you have my sympathies…..you have been assimilated as well……

      • Palin16

I’m willing to take my chances on Romney, rather than an idiot president that’s visited 57 states. Only a guy brought up in Indonesia, who never even stepped foot on the US mainland until age 18, could be that stupid. As for Gary Johnson, I’d wager $1000 he doesn’t even get 1% of the popular vote.

      • eddie47d

Some of you must be brain dead to say the least. Kerry has money from his wife (Heinz Corp). I don’t think there is anything illegal or immoral about making ketchup

      • Palin16

edduh, Romney gave $4 million to charity last year. Biden gave a measly 300 bucks out of his $230,000 a year salary. How many times we do have to drill it through your thick skull…liberals like to spend other people’s money.

  • Paul Wells

Nice work Ben, as always. Keep up the good work! (It annoys small minds like Alex!!! :) )

    • eddie47d

Who salted your peter this morning Paul. Was that the extent of your fact finding mission today? Romney at the debates bragged about energy independence. The odd thing is that every President since Nixon has said the same thing. More importantly Obama has increased drilling throughout this country yet Republicans still can’t comprehend how Obama can out do oil man G Bush. The only way Romney could beat the President on the energy issue is by literally destroying the environment in doing so. We’ve done that in years past so do you want to go back to the days of the brown cloud and poisoned rivers. Do you want more piles of coal ash dumped throughout the environment leaching more mercury and other dangerous residue. That is someones drinking water they taint and Obama wants them to dig and drill in a way to safeguard our health. Not everything is just about profits as Romney has advocated for.

  • Alex

Contrary to nasty Race-baiting by the GOP, General Colin Powell has endorsed the reelection of President Obama because, among so many other reasons, is that Obama ended the war in Iraq on the exact date Gen. Powell & Cheneybush had selected beforehand. Gen. Powell, decorated in multiple wars, knows that combat-dodger Mitt said ending the war on schedule was “tragic”—TRAGIC!

Colin Powell helped drag this country into two wars. He has seen the president end one of them, despite the protestations of the GOP. Powell knows that Mitt wishes to expand our military presence in the MiddleEast and extend the War in Afghanistan–the LONGEST war in US history.

Mitt tried in the last debate to backpedal—or should I say Mr Business back-PEDDLED? —
by all-of-the-sudden agreeing with the president on nearly EVERY Foreign Policy issue,
included the Afghan withdrawal in 2014. Well….there you go again, Mitt…

The GOP nominee sings so many tunes to so many audiences he cannot be believed. I think Mitt was most true when he was criticizing the Afghan exit strategy—as he criticized
leaving Iraq (You think Mitt will tell the mothers of soldiers that having their heroes home for Thanksgiving is tragic?).

General Powell has endorsed the president who ends wars over the businessman who
profits from them. Save Our Troops!

    OBAMA 2012!

Longest war in history is still going on between North and South Korea ..no peace treaty was ever signed only a agreement to disengage …they never did settle with a peace treaty or agreement to cease hostilities…only a cease fire …so technically the Korean War is still going on….

Newsflash: I have relatives currently serving in the military…and guess what jackass? They are still in Iraq!!!

Oh, and Race-baiting by the GOP? Dude, when are you demoncraps going to stop with the race card. That in itself is racist.

    • Stach

      Alex,

Obummer did not end the war in Iraq, the date was set before he was POTUS. He did go to Iraq and attempt to extend the war 7 months claiming the troops could not be withdrawn by the 12/31 date. Iraq told him to blow smoke and get out. His ploy to extend the war and withdraw later was intended to show he ended the war he claims he ended.

  • Ted

NIce work, Benji. Your words bring back the thrilling days of the sixth grade, where insult was the highest form of comedy.

  • kim

Easy there Alex! Don’t forget fellas’ that Obama never served his country in the military either. Colin Powell only endorsed Obama because he would have been considered a traitor to the Black community by doing otherwise.

    • Alex

kim, Mitt Romney ADVOCATED FOR the war in Vietnam, but rather than put his life on the line to support his nation, he spent SEVEN years peddling his cult in France. Mitt is a coward. People who want OTHER people’s children to be blown to bits while they profit are cowards.

      • MD

Alex – why are you trying to talk sense to a pile of right wing crazies?

      • Paul Wells

A better question for both Alex and MD,

Why are you two loons so deluded? Romney backpedalled, Romney’s a bull[expletive deleted]. Romney does NOT like the idea of putting a hard date for withdrawal, because even Colin Powell knows that’s a foolish thing to do. But he IS in favor of a 2014 withdrawal. I know that’s a hard concept for libbies to get, but that is what it is. Colin Powell I guess only cares about the wars, and ending them, he seems not to care much about negative job growth and strangling regulations on small business. He also must not care about a $16T debt, and a deficit that is growing by leaps and bounds. See, the thing is about you libtards, you are just like petulant children at a candy store. Once you have three or four pieces of candy, you holler for more…and more…regardless of whether they can be paid for or not. FAIL and go back to school, and take economics courses. Next.

“I want to honor my son, Ty Woods, who responded to the cries for help and voluntarily sacrificed his life to protect the lives of other Americans. In the last few days it has become public knowledge that within minutes of the first bullet being fired the White House knew these heroes would be slaughtered if immediate air support was denied. Apparently, C-130s were ready to respond immediately. In less than an hour, the perimeters could have been secured and American lives could have been saved. After seven hours fighting numerically superior forces, my son’s life was sacrificed because of the White House’s decision. This has nothing to do with politics, this has to do with integrity and honor. My son was a true American hero. We need more heroes today. My son showed moral courage. This is an opportunity for the person or persons who made the decision to sacrifice my son’s life to stand up.”

Hang in there edda, help is on the way. Oh, I forgot, you support this gang of cowards. Who’s got your back? MD? This poser and his handlers should be shackled and all sent to libya to reside in that compound. Some commander n chief this fraud is. I understand our military personel are quite upset with their so called commander. Time to take out the cowardly donkey trash! This lying “progressive regime” is dispicable.

      • eddie47d

Then all Presidents are responsible for each and every death that occurs in every war right Warrior? With your reasoning then President Roosevelt has about 626,000 deaths on his head and should have been sent to some prison camp. That G.Bush should be in prison somewhere for all those soldiers deaths in Iraq. Since no President has control over every situation and death in any war and hundreds if not thousands of accidental deaths occur then that is a very heavy burden. Seek help for your loss Warrior for you need more than anyone here can give you.

…so says the biggest slanderous liar(eddie)on this board…it’s been proven time & time again that eddie is a liar and a slanderer, hasn’t it eddie? Of course you’ll even lie about that won’t you eddie?

      • Kate8

JeffH – The truth continues to come out. The video I posed above, again, tells how the communists have infiltrated our system using the democrat party. He gives details, names.

These lefties, like eddie, would do well to set their paycheck aside for a moment and listen to the truth. Perhaps eddie thinks communism is a good idea. If not, he should want to know that he is a tool, and once he is of no further value to them…

You see, the commies have no use for leftists. They are idealistic, and when they discover the truth about the people who’s agenda they help support, they get really upset. Of course, they don’t figure it out until it’s too late, so they are the first to go.

I always wondered why certain factions of the elite have led the attack against Obama, if he is their man. Well, maybe we have the NWO Zionist elite vying for power against the Russian and Chinese communists. Scriptures do speak of a great war between the Beast and the kings of the East and the North, which is led against Israel, which is the Zionist port.

While in Vietnam I wrote 20 letters home to family of fallen heroes, each one pained me beyond belief; but the pain they gave pales compared to your loss. May God have mercy on the United States and the families of the 4 victims of this outrage. Class of ’72

It’s people like this that is driving all the hatred in our Country. So sad for him and our Country.. Wake up people!!!!!! Obama is our President and voted in by the People – it just seems the “R’s” can’t handle that. I voted for Prsident Obama instead of Hillery because of all the hatred in the past. Guess it just doesn’t matterto the “R’s” There is still such HATRED.

    • johnC

Hopefully he will soon be voted out of office, I personally think he has issues…like telling the truth… The president finally had to admit that the attck on 9-11-2012 was in fact a terrorist attack…but it is strange why he said a movie caused this when he knew at 4:05 pm that day that there were no mob riots by e-mails to the white house…Then he went to bed not knowing if the ambassador was alive or not…and did not send help from CIA that offered to aid the ambassador…instead told them to stand down…there are a lot of questions many have about this …but the big question is why continue telling the public something false for 2 weeks when the president knew the answer (the speech in the rose garden was in reference to 9-11-2001 about terrorists in general and not once mentioned that it was aterrorist attack in Libya) He is president and you would expect some measure of honesty and not an outright lie

      • eddie47d

You have to have a lie before it can be called a lie John C. Obama was in Colorado on 9/13 and he did call the attack in Benghazi a terrorist attack. Whether you like it or not that video may have played a part since it was put out in July. All the other protests in the Muslim world were directly linked to that video. Maybe Obama overused that video but I think there are too many trying to justify its content and then whitewashing it. Obviously mistakes were made at the consulate and the President has promised to remedy this tragedy. The thing to remember Libya still doesn’t have an established government in place and I’m sure most Libyans don’t understand that embassies and consulates are sacred ground to the visiting nation. Some Libyans like Americans aren’t willing to give up their weapons so these tragedies occur. I reckon we could say not all gun owners in Libya are responsible either.

    • Bob Robbins

All of this malarkey over a bayonet.. The drone is the preferred and most effective weapon against Al Quadea in the Afghanistan war. The bayonet is used only in close hand to hand combat situations as the last resort.

    • The GLB

@ Marc: That must be why the drones are used to kill so many innocent Pakistanis in, of all places, PAKISTAN.

      Crazy!

BTW, they are also being used here in the good ol’ U.S. of A.

      • Marc

GLB should give thanks to Pakistan, who receives over a billion dollars a year, for their help in the Afghanistan war. But more important, in harboring the man responsible for the 9/11 attacks on American soil. OSAMA BIN LADEN! Remember 9/11 attacks that claimed 2,973 lives. Brings my question to you. Are you as tired about war as I am?

  • norml1

It’s not about a bayonet. It’s about the COMMANDER IN CHIEF not knowing that bayonets are used in combat. It’s about our Obama NOT showing up for 55% of his daily briefings, yet he wouldn’t miss a “T” time for anything (plays golf over 100 times per year) It’s about showing our economy growing when the growth is based on the money government is spending (borrowing) on ourselves. It’s about a convoluted way of looking at things and acting on things that is so nuttttsss that it’s just impossible for it to happen, to be true.
How in the world did O get to be president without us, the people, even knowing where he was born? For those of us who have applied for a job 1. you provide a resume2. you proved a birth certificate3..you provide a social security number.4.you are interviewed by the owner of the company or a division head who asks you questions , which you are expected to answer, truthfully, if you want the position. 5. then the company runs background checks and reviews your resume and decides if you should or shouldn’t be given another interview to decide if they want to have you represent their company.

Any body know why this wasn’t done for the person who we now have representing us , as President of the United States of America? If you fall asleep while on guard duty, it’s punishable by death. the forces that we’ve let crawl past our positions , while we slept, will be more than accomodating to provide that death. Their bible tells them to.

Democrats are still wearing egg on their faces for authorizing the Iraq war, so now Democrats are determined to put themselves early on record as opposing military action in Iran. Talk about flip-flopping and accusing the neo-cons of war-moungering…when in fact, both parties are on the same-page!!!

The fact is, there is no difference between Bush and Obama; or between Biden and Cheney, or between any of their pro-empire, thug-organizations, such as; Israel-first cheerleaders at the Council of Foreign Relations, the National Endowment for Democracy, and the America-Israel Political Action Committee. They are all rank and schizoid-interventionists, hell-bent in involving America in other peoples’ wars and more than happy to see our republic destroyed by their democracy-crusading military adventures overseas.

    Brief history:

In 2007 The National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) stated conclusively that Iran had halted the development of nuclear weapons.

The 2011 NIE confirmed that the 2007 finding remained valid and that was the conclusion of 17 intelligence agencies.

The Associated Press interviewed senior Israeli officials and found that they too believed there was no indication that Iran had decided to build a bomb.

And the International Atomic Energy Agency, which had correctly told the Bush regime that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction in 2003, has also found that Iran had no military nuclear program.

In general, nukes aside, is Iran a military threat? No.

The United States spends $ ONE TRILLION on its military, Iran spends 1/10 of 1% of what the U.S. spends. Iran only spends a quarter of what Saudi Arabia spends and even less than what the collection of oil sheikdoms known as the United Arab Emirates spends. Iran is still dependent on American arms and munitions stockpiled over 30 years ago. Iran is not a military threat.

So why are the political-types, Repub-wackos and Obamadrones, continually bleating of the need to attack Iran now? The answer is that now is no different from then. Political-types have been crying wolf since 1979.

Before 1979, the United States was providing technical assistance and gizmos to aid the Shah of Iran develop nukes. We weren’t against it then. We weren’t against Israel developing nukes or India, and although surprised by Pakistan’s bomb we never threatened to take them out.

    Come on people, THINK!!!!
