U.S. Exporting Runaway Inflation Across The Entire World With Its Reckless Money Printing

U.S. Exporting Runaway Inflation Across The Entire World With Its Reckless Money Printing

Nations across the globe are now dealing with food riots and anarchy.

The weather and inflation are leading to an explosion in prices and civil strife. Wheat prices have doubled in seven months, corn has increased more than 90 percent and soybeans have surged more than 55 percent. The fear of inflation is not child’s play. It carries the potential for even higher oil prices than those caused by the turmoil in the Middle East.

This brings to mind, have you stored food as we have repeatedly advised for a few years now? This advice is now turning to a red alert warning. Now that the currency is in serious depreciation (inflation), we can store food at a profit by buying it ahead of inflation.

I have studied the collapse of money in Weimar Germany. There became great scarcity of food and the stores were empty. We have potential for this in America, plus the danger of food riots.

Since we live in the end times of fiat paper money, there is an inherent bias toward inflation, i.e., printing large amounts of paper money. Add all this to the fact that the government always changes its measure of inflation, always understating the numbers and all the while not even counting food, energy and housing. How’s that for deception?

The unavoidable and certain end result will be an even greater crisis than the world has yet seen. Massive sovereign bankruptcies, food riots and general chaos are the end result of trying to foment growth by inflation (printing money) and will end in tears.

Also, it is time and past time to accumulate gold and silver. Be sure to get some U.S. 90 percent silver coins. It will be the exchange money of choice when this system fails completely.

The time is soon coming when we won’t be able to get these coins. Up to now, buying gold and silver has been very profitable as measured in paper money. But now we are past the consideration of profitability. Our concern has changed 100 percent to survival.

Are we past reality? Do we believe that we have monetary invincibility and a sense of intellectual superiority against all warning signals to the contrary?

We see that in this year of 2011 politicians and governments will continue to try to deter the inevitable and rescue the unsalvageable with high-speed, high-octane created money. And look out below! This could be the crunch year for survival of the system. Precious metals and commodities may be the only things left standing.

Meanwhile, as we head for the final exits, precious metals, commodity producers (food, oil, iron ore, and other base metals) will all benefit from money printing.

The reason we buy commodity stocks with depreciating paper money is because commodity stocks have leverage. Up to a point they appreciate more than the currency depreciates.

One caveat is to know when to exit all paper in favor of real goods. That is why you should continue to visit Personal Liberty Digest.

We are living in a time of world chaos…natural and man made. The end of man on earth may happen sooner than later. The “tribes” of what we call the middle east and North Africa have been at war with each other for thousands of years. Nothing has changed except that some nations are mor civilized than others. Democracy…my a$$!

As I reflect on the chaotic events and natural disasters that the world is experiencing, I can’t help but think that planet earth is changing as it has for millions of years. Think about it for a moment. 40,000 years ago most of the North American continent was covered in ice. 15,000 years ago Minnesota was covered with ice. There is no such thing as “man made” climate change, earth is just going through an “interglacial” period just as it has gone through periods of “glacition” like it has for millions of years.

Who knows when the world as we know it will end. I do know that when the time arrives, those that have decieved the people and manipulated the economies of countries and governments for profit will suffer the same fate as the rest of us. All of their “fiat” money won’t buy them a match, drink of water, one ear of corn or one bag of beans and they sure as hell can’t eat gold or silver. Let them pay the price for their greed and lust of power, afterall, we have the ability to survive and our dignity…all they have is their contract with the devil. Stock up with dry goods and water and learn to survive. In the end, we will all end up in a much better place, something that money and power can’t buy.

What really is inflation? Without a free market economy producing something all we have left are the greedy world bankers and power hungry market traders, with the support of government, manipulating and creating inflation. In a free market, consumers and producers are easily able to evaluate the relative money costs of consumer goods as well as the resources with which these goods are manufactured. This allows an efficient and economical use of the resources and commodities in society and will keep inflation in check.

Since the beginning of recorded history, governments have had an insatiable desire to consume wealth. Governments have never run out of ideas on ways to spend what others have produced and earned. The the invention of the printing press has enabled governments(think Ferderal Reserve)to produce vast amounts of paper money. Controlling the printing press enables government to be a consumer without first being a producer. This control has created created the worlds economic and social disasters.

The Federal Reserve System must be abolished. The market should be left free to determine the economically most useful forms of banking and financial intermediation.

A free market in money and banking would be the solution to our “age of inflation.” Government central-planning of money has been tried and it has failed. It is now time for monetary freedom to be given a chance.

It has occurred to me a few times that when the big collapse happens, there are two groups best positioned to survive: the rich and the poor.

The rich, of course, will at that time be able to afford the armies of looters and marauders to keep their survival coffers full. The very poor across the world, having always been accustomed to doing without and relatively independent of modern technology, will continue in their marginal agricultural existence and be least affected by the catastrophe.

Who’s going to be hit hardest? The lazy middle classes of the world, devoid of survival skills because they’ve been lulled into becoming dependent upon high tech luxuries to the extent that they are neither fit nor equipped with the skills needed to survive.

Middle class city dwellers will be screwed when the means of distribution of food and water are excised. The indolent urban poor will do as they’ve always done, take from the rest, but this time it will be by means of brutal force.

Only those who are forewarned will be forearmed to weather the crisis. The glitter of gold will be supplanted by the pangs of hunger.

          Vigilant:

That was very well said. No rant, no hyperbole. Just the facts maam, so to speak.

I think some in the middle class will be equipped to survive, but most of those will be in the more rual areas.

What do you think of a Mossburg 5 shot 12 gauge? I dream of an AR15, but….

          • JeffH

OH, all the Mossberg has to do is function as designed, the rest is up to you. I built a new 20 inch, 5.56 AR15 in late 2009 to my specs for less than $900, California compliant also. I love it. I just put on a BSA Sweet .223 3-12×40 scope with trajectory compensation adjustments and 3 turrets for 3 different bullet weights. This is my “varmint” rifle. Plenty of ammo and extra magazines. My shotgun preference is my 3.5″ chambered HK/Benelli Super Black Eagle.

          • Vigilant

            OH,

There’s an excellent YouTube video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vgr3kTU68uw&feature=related that compares the AK-47 with Winchester models 100 (243), 1894 (.30-30), 94, and the Remington Model 700.

As old as these weapons are, they can still outshoot the AK-47.

I’ve got an old Ithaca bouble barrelled 12 guage that does a good job on varmints. I often thought of the AR 15, but will now shop for one of the Winchester/Remington models above.

            JeffH,
Have you ever seen the new program on discovery Sons of Guns?? they are masters at modifying any gun you want!! They make silencers, leopard guns, door busters, hell the other night they even modified a 30 cal machine gun to be able to be shoulder fired!! Fantastic!! I love the show!!!

          • JeffH

Joe H. yeah. That’s one of my favorite shows. They can do just about anything where guns are concerned. I believe they made the first AK47 that was supressed by incorporating the supressor into the barrel/framework rather than a screw on supressor. They are experts with the AK platform and built custom Saiga rifles and shotguns. They even supressed a 12 gauge Saiga. It was totally cool. You should check out their website.

Exactly right, and they’re doing it through the straight up lies and half thruths propogated by…you guessed it! The Dept. of Education and their minions at the…wait for it…Teacher’s Union.

      • Vigilant

        JIBBS,

It’s always been the trick of the Democrats to try and associate their name with “democracy.” They are loathe to call it a “republic” because it would be identified with Republicans.

I remember arguing with my high school history teacher (and that was as far back as 1963) about this. He, a loyal Democrat, of course insisted that we are a democracy. I could only get him to go so far as to call it a “representative democracy.”

Sad to say, the myth has become so prevalent that the misuse of the word has become commonplace for most Americans, regardless of their political leanings.

    • Richard Pawley

“Who knows when the world as we know it will end?” Jeff, I think if people could look ahead to the end of this decade they would be astounded. Unless congress has the guts to severely reign in spending then the tripling of food prices and everything else (but not houses) is an eventual given caused by the intentional devaluation of the dollar caused by that excessive spending of money we don’t have. Things caused by men seldom happen without warnings. Gold going from $300 to $1400 and silver going from $3 to $33 plus is the canary in the coal mine. They are warning signs that something is not right with our make believe money system of the past hundred years. I do agree that many who have deceived the people and manipulated the economies of countries for their own benefit will suffer as well because ALL WILL BE AFFECTED. I quoted someone a lot smarter than I in “THE LAST DAYS OF THE LATE GREAT UNITED STATES and the Great Famine that Followed” who said that all currencies will be losing their value so this will be a world wide problem. Will gold and silver go higher? Quite possibly but not as high as food, in my opinion. Even the Bible, that has a great deal to say about the end of the world, speaks of a time when it will take a days wage to earn a days food. There are, by the way, many cryptic things in the Bible about the end times, the evidence of which we have begun to experience (not the end of the world itself). Jesus said that would happen when an uncountable number of ‘stars’ (the generic term back then for meteors, asteroids, and comets) hit the earth. The Bible also says that sores will appear on the hand and faces of people all over the earth before that, which has led some to believe that there will be a nuclear war, or that something else will destroy the ozone shield that protects us from excessive radiation from the sun, which results in sores (skin cancer) appearing on the parts of the body most exposed all the time to the sun, the hands and face. The Bible also says that something the size of a burning mountain will hit the sea and kill one third of all the creatures in the sea. That hasn’t happened since that was written but can you imagine the tsunami that one will cause? In fact it will not be unlike what happened in the 1998 movie DEEP IMPACT…One doesn’t have to be fearful of these things or go crazy over them (if one is a believer) because God is well aware of them and He will guide us as individuals, not as a collective. Already there is a many month waiting list for some long term storage foods and around the world some are buying and stockpiling foods and things they will need that may not be so easy to obtain at any price if the money modern civilization all returns to it’s intrinsic worth, paper, cotten and linen. Ever considered a really good sleeping bag for when the power is down for long periods of time? Several million in Japan have had neither power nor food for three days now. I am convinced that the Los Angeles Earthquake, the really big one that our scientists say is overdue, won’t happen until the summer of 2014, but will the nuclear plants our there survive it any better than the ones in northern Japan? I do not know. The current administration, instead of squandering more money on super trains and trying to force unions on all states and picking and choosing which laws they would and would not support, would be better off if they would be preparing not for the little damage that might happen in 2012 but for the serious shortages and the big inflation that the government and the FED itself is creating. The Treasury is even now creating $70,000 MILLION DOLLARS a month out of thin air, the same way Zimbabwe has done for over a decade (when Clinton was president a loaf of bread in Zimbabwe was under three dollars, American or Zimbabwean, but by last year it was 11 TRILLION DOLLARS in their money. Germany printed money out of thin air in 1921 to 1923. You can read about how the ensuing chaos enabled Hitler to come to power. Quantitative Easing or Monetizing the Debt or creating money out of thin air never works well in the long run. Of course those who are likely to prepare have already done so, so this is just preaching to the choir. Still there might be someone new here who has not heard how ‘broke’ the nations, and states, and cities really are (this problem is world wide). My suggestion is that the time for serious prayer is here. Does anyone think that all the new members of congress that were elected last November just happened? Does anyone imagine that the unions did not zap it to the middle class taxpayers once again in Wisconsin without much prayer being said? Always pray that “God’s Will Be Done” on a situation, and if enough people will do that, things will happen. They might not always be what we expect but the result will be best for all. When will the world end? I have no idea, but the end of the world as we know it? I hope we have five to ten years but I have no idea on that either. Some of my excellent sources don’t think we will make it to the next election without great change or at least the beginning of the great inflation I have written about for years (the food riots, martial law, the army trying to stop the big city looters, etc.) Time will reveal all things but isn’t it a fascinating time to be alive?

Richard, You show great insight and knowledge. I agree entirely with what you said. America has broken our covenant made with God in the beginning of this nation and all we have to do is look at what happened to Old Testament Isreal whenever they broke covenant to see what will happen in America unles we return to the God of our fathers. America MUST have an awakening to God such as in the time of John Wesley. As you said, prayer is our only hope.

        • http://Illinois'17th Old Henry

          Richard, Joel:

You are dead on and very insightful. A good griend of mine and I have talked about our times and we both agree that it is both exciting to be able to live in these phrophesied times of God and also very frightening.

        Richard Pawley, I couldn’t agree more…well stated.

      someone replied:

well… apart from anything, first i’d like to say that the countries that were called “tribes” by this commentator had policies, civilizations, democracy and liberty before America was even there on the map… and the fact that “we” had been at war with each other is sheer nonsense.. there may have been wars in the area.. but never reached the western definitions of Wars- World war 1 and 2…which all the west had been middling into for tens of years in the last century..
notably, most of our wars have been in defense of our occupied land against western occupation from France, England, Italy and Germany,…etc.
we have to admit that the wheel of history is moving.. USA ..the 200 years old country… couldn’t be the cradle of a new civilization even though it is a power… the greatest power on the political scene since the atomic bombing on Japan… but as little as the civilization of USA is… it can’t handle others affairs without failing them time after time… now.. unable to handle its own affairs properly causing inflation on both national and international scales

back to the article… we never hope for the worst.. hoping for the best is our motto in the middle east now… we have to bear in mind that we are all human beings.. and if this is going to be the end of the world.. let’s make it as green and hopeful as can be… i hope western countries use their technologies and powers in the right manner esp. when dealing with the east… we have proven we are there… standing up for our rights as human beings… any one who can appreciate this will be a part of the new revolution.

      • JeffH

Egyptian, this commentor did not call any middle eastern countries “tribes”.

      • Bruce D.

I thought your post well written but there are two sides to every story. If you go back far enough Egyptian you will find that Muslims expanded their power into the West and left cities decimated as they murdered, pilfered, and raped for a couple of hundred of years until the West put a stop to it. They no longer have the power to do so but still they are showing just how ruthless they can be with Jihad. It is not like you have the moral high ground.

      • Bruce D.

Egyptian and proud, as you are posting here there is a good chance that you are like many others from the Middle East-proud to be from there but do not really want to live there.

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

We wont all end up in a better place, unfortunately some have decided they are their own God, and they will have to live with that, in a place void of Him. And you mentioned in the beginning of your post, the word democracy. It is a two faceted word. I would suggest reading the material at http://www.lexrex.com/enlightened/AmericanIdeal/aspects/demrep.html. It spells out the important distinction between a democracy versus Republic. Keep up the good posts my friend. Im with you.

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Those that have done these dirty deeds to their fellow man, will indeed pay the price for it. Many will be thrown into the lake of fire for their transgressions, but there is still time for them to turn around and change the road they are on. But as time passes, that window of opportunity is getting smaller and smaller, and there will come a day when the time has run out, and they wont get a do over. And just as you have said, all their money and riches will not garner them a single thing. It is at that point they will realize that all they deceived and sought to gain all their lives, was just temporary, and that it is all to fade away, but what is eternal, life with or without God, is still there for the rest of all of our days. That is truly what all should be concerned with, not screwing someone else out of another dollar. In the end, that will all be for naught.

  • s c

It’s time to get rid of every politician whose behavior makes life complicated for the American people. Nowhere in the Constitution does it state that wasteful spending is the best way to make America and Americans safe.
It’s obvious that concentrated stupidity and greed make Washington what it is. Our non-leaders are so protected from reality that the daily events in Washington are more like Hollywood B movies.
Can we agree that the ethanol curse, the Fed and democracy-for-sale constitute real and present dangers? These “gifts” from career politicians are evil and must be seen as such.
Can we agree that those who benefit from easy votes via entitlement programs are no better than
professional criminals? They belong behind bars.
Politicians are expendable. Let them crawl under rocks and hide. Freedom is too precious to give away without a fight. It is time for us to do to career politicians what they have done to America.

    • WayneT

I agree, s c, but how are we going to convince the general population to do this? I am game to vote 90 percent of Congress out, and select new ones, but will they be any better? Remember, these politicians come from the general population. I think this delimma show how the people of the era we are living in, are dishonest, and selfish. I don’t think that good quality, honest folks, want any part of our corrupted government. At the current time I would like to see Mike Hucklebee selected as a Republican contender in the next presiddntial election. I feel he is honest and would be the best president for our country. It seems like people, for some reason, do not want a person that has these these traits. What has this nation become? Anyone who would vote for a man like Obama does not has any common sense. This is a man who sprung up from no where, people did not know anything about him, yet tdhey voted him in as president. Something does not seem quite right here. Check out this website on you tube and see what you think. This one has been around several times: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwhKuunp8D8&feature=player_embedded

      • meteorlady

There are problems we all need to help solve. Getting rid of the crooks in Washington DC is one of them. Getting rid of state government crooks is another.

Seem the Republicans are only talking about the re-treads they have already put up to run. Why not get some new faces? Demand that the press give more time to Ron Paul. I would vote for Allen West or Condi Rice or even some of the new governors or senators we elected last election. I would rather see a third, forth, fifth or sixth party come to the front and put forth a viable candidate. We should stop supporting the Democrats and Republicans, their organizations have been bought and sold and they owe to many people for their existence.

        • Vigilant

          meteorlady,

My native skepticism tells me that replacement will never be good enough. It takes a particular type of person to become a politician, and most of those types I would never associate with in everyday life. The slick pandering lawyers, for example, have perennially been concerned with how to skirt the law, not enforce it. Plato may have had the right idea by putting his “philosopher kings” through decades of training in partyless statesmanship and utmost concern for the welfare of the people.

Politicians, to some extent, are also a relection of the dumbed down, selfish and opportunistic population in this country. We say we are better than the politicians, but we vote them in because they promise to satisfy the materialistic bent in us, not the selfless concern for the welfare of the nation.

Regarding a multiplication of political parties, I’ve seen what it has done to Europe. The pluralities, rather than a majority, put politicians in office who are forced to form coalition governments if they hope to succeed. This puts strange bedfellows together in positions that are no better than rule by committee.

Before Angela Merkel was elected in Germany, the government was ruled by a coalition of the center-right and the Green Party, as far left as you can go. The Greens only held about 5% of the parliamentary seats but were taken on to facilitate the formation of government. You can imagine what a goat-rope that was.

        • barbm

lady, i’d vote for you before i’d vote for any candidate who has run for potus (besides ron paul)since i got old enough to vote. i’ve always been amazed that a country as strong as ours puts forth such piss-poor choices. then i followed the money. :(

How do people get this way?
        Are they completely braindead?
They see the direct results of their actions yet stand there and wonder if they are doing the right thing.

The system is flawed at its foundation and cannot be repaired.
If you vote *good* people into a flawed system they become flawed as well. This happens over and over again but you haven’t been paying attention.

Principles will have their way, whether you believe it or not.

        • http://?? Joe H.

          don,
I don’t happen to be brain dead, but I do believe if just once we did change over 75% of the people now in office, we would send a message that has never been sent before and that message is that we are finally fed up with business as usual and if it continues, we will keep changin people till it doesn’t! Why do you think the two main parties keep us so divided? As long as we are divided, we can’t accomplish this!!! The main thing that affects these two legged animals is their pockets. to fill their pockets, either fast or slow, they need their job!! Think about it!

          • Carlucci

I agree. Get rid of all the incumbents, except for the Drs. Paul.

Vote Libertarian. They have all the good ideas.

          • JeffH

Joe H., I agree. If and it is a big “IF” we could change all of the un-American members in our government we’d solve this countries problems, with the exception of the progressive socialists and communists. We are a country of laws and it’s time for everyone, rich or poor, to adhere to the laws of the United States of America or pay the consequences whether it be fines, incarceration or the penalty of death.

          • Richard Pawley

Yes, we replaced a number of those in congress last November. Let’s complete the job in 20 months. However, the damage the 111th Democratic Congress did between 2006 and 2010 (the excessive spending) is still going to bring us big inflation. There is a time lag on these things but count on it or you may well regret it. Let us hope that the bureaucrats and the progressives only want to create a couple of hundred percent inflation and not hyperinflation. Trouble is these things usually get out of hand. That is why all need to be prepared. Funny thing, we always blame the president, Bush did this or Obama did that, but it is always congress who agrees to all the spending and passes the bills approving it. Without the Democratic Socialists in congress (several dozen members of congress by the way) and the RHINO Republicans this obscene squandering of all we can borrow and now all we can print, would not be coming back to bite us with the inflationary monster. You don’t see it yet! YOU WILL! YES, YOU WILL! The DOW is down below 12,000 again (as of half an hour ago) and oil is back over a $100 a barrel. The socialists in congress want it to be over $200 so they can foster a million electric cars on us in the next couple of years but who can afford them? Funny, how there are ten different models of VW, Toyota, and so many more in Europe that can carry up to five people and get 70 to 80 miles per gallon that cost half of what a small electric car costs but we cannot buy them here because these super clean diesels don’t fit in with the EPA’s plan to return us to 1840 (some say 1820). We will need more coal powered electrical plants and nuclear plants to power the electric cars the Progressives want us all to use but because of what happened in Japan…well, it takes up to 30 plus years to plan and build a nuclear plant. If the environmentalists hadn’t have closed down the new pebble bed plant that I wrote about in 2006 in my autobiography that was being built in South Africa – which can’t melt down and produces more than 30% more energy and which is cheaper to build, we might now have proof how much better that new/old technology really is. Now, China is the leader in this new technology which we basically invented in the 1940′s but never built. I recently updated my autobiography to include how much less safe the world environment now is because of the South African environmentalists and how they contributed to the dispersal of the greatest nuclear energy minds on earth (much as how Obama caused the drilling platforms in the gulf to disperse all over the world). It’s almost enough to make one believe that maybe God is getting as fed up with mankind as he was before Noah’s time. Almost, but not quite. If we could have convinced Clinton to begin drilling for our own oil when he was president – he said it would take ten years – we would now have what we need today and not have to give the BILLION DOLLARS A DAY that we now give to foreigners for imported oil. If we don’t begin someday we will be slaves to all we owe so much money to and we will be giving our land and our factories and our lives for that oil – actually we are already doing that! I don’t know the answer to all our problems but replacing the rest of congress is a first step (all but the handful of truly independents, regardless of what ‘party’ they belong to). Of course, Obama has almost made them obsolete with his “Czars” who answer only to him. Interesting times we live in and they are going to get a whole lot more interesting. May God help us!

Mike Huckabee? Gag me. He is just another sweet-talking RINO who knows little about the kind of Freedom our Forefathers embraced.
You are right though, Wayne, that it’s a citizen problem as much as it is a politician problem. And your embracing of Huckabee demonstrates that fact.
For real Freedom, that is — Individual Liberty, Personal Responsibility, Free Markets, and Limited Government (which you aren’t going to get with Huckabee and ilk), Vote Libertarian.

      • LeRoy Z.

Wayne, I agree with you totally about our Pres. However, I don’t think we should be so hard on the electorate as we’d like to be. It has always been my feeling that republicans themselves gave us Obama….I think because people were just so totally po’d at the reigning pob. There was so much corruption and cronyism going on during the last months of the previous admin. people would have voted for absolutely anyone but a republican. My theory may be off base, but whatever the reason…it sure has gotten us into a mess!!!!

      • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Wayne if we continue to every 4 years vote them out if they arent doing the job, they will get it. But when we let the Dick Lugars and John McCains and Harry Reids and Ted Kennedys, even though he is passed now, and these career guys to hang around doing nothing for years, they get entrenched with special interest groups and the good old boys network. We need to stop that. Look at their records, they have done nothing good with their time, but say one thing and do another. Its time for all them to go, and every 4 years the same thing, until they get it.

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Greed. Lawyers mostly became lawyers for the pursuit of money, with greed in their veins. Then they became politicians, so they could satisfy their greed with other peoples money and not have to use their own, just pocket it. It is greed that drives them, and it is greed that will destroy them, and unfortunately, they will take a lot of us with them. Keep voting them out until they get it right. We must stop letting guys like Dick Lugar and John McCain and Ted Kennedy and John Kerry and the like serve year after year after year, when they have done nothing but get in bed with special interest groups, and line their pockets. Dump these career guys, and every 4 years if they dont do the job, dump them.

Both political parties ahve been responsible for our country’s dismal state at present. However, Obama is a Progressive Liberal ( Closet Communist ) who seeks to destroy the country via Cloward & Piven’s strategy for overloading the system with people on food stamps, welfare, unemployment benefits, and the like. In doing so, he hopes to strengthen the unions and his communist followers and take charge when the country cannot defend itself. Remember that our military reports to him and not to Congress. So, we must all educate our friends, neighbors, and relatives and go to the polls in waves in 2012 to rid ourselves of the politicians on both sides of the aisle who have defrauded the system and have given tens of billions of dollars away to their friends and supporters. We must take back the country and, frankly, it may be too late to do so. Inflation and the fed may destroy us all. So, go to your local foodstores and stock up for the short term. The long term may no longer be achieveable. And, most of all, get down on your kness and pray. Rally round the flag and the Constitution and rid ourselves of those who so badly want to see both trampled.

    • Richard Pawley

In the wonderful and ever popular classic paperback GOD CALLING edited by A. J. Russell, one of the 360 short teachings that Jesus told two women who prayed together each day for ten years back when Great Britain ruled the world (about 80 years ago) was that they could change the laws in Parliament (by prayer) without ever leaving their kitchen. Another time He told them that “When you see how wonderfully your prayers have been answered, you will regret, deeply regret, that you did not pray more.” Does anyone but the atheists think that all those people got thrown out of Congress last November without a lot of prayer? Does anyone think that the middle class taxpayers won in Wisconsin when millions of dollars of union money was flowing in from other states to defeat the governor and the middle class. Had the unions succeeded 1,500 of them would have lost their jobs and taxes would have had to be raised about a thousand dollars per household to cover the debt. I’m not against unions in business IF THE PEOPLE LEGITIMATELY WANT THEM but unions forcing the taxpayers to support the lavish lifestyles of the union bosses is not much different than the peasants in old England and Europe being forced to pay for the lavish lifestyle of the Barons and Baroness, and of course the King. This is or was the United States of America! No wonder so many millions have abandoned the union states in the north and moved to the Right-To-Work states in the central, south and southwest. Americans like freedom, keeping what they earn, and lending a helping hand when needed. They do not like the BILLION DOLLARS that has been given to Planned Parenthood in the past decade and the millions given to the NPR who solicit for money all year round and so much more when these outfits don’t really need it! Americans are among the most generous people on earth but most don’t like to taken advantage of, by congress, the president, or anyone. The USA has many powerful enemies and I agree that much prayer is needed if we are to save the country.

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

I got news for you, it isnt just Obama. Every democrat that has been in the office, always expands social welfare programs and decides to give more of the working mans money away to the lazy bums who dont want to work. This is the left wing liberal way. I for one, want to see a president and a congress get in there, and start cutting away at these social handouts. 90 percent of these people collecting them arent poor and down and out. They are lazy and dont want to work because the government makes it easy for them to make a living, living off of the money they take from us working folks. I see them on the front porches, drinking 40′s, smoking dope and cigarettes all day long, and Ill tell you, that stuff isnt cheap. I know for a fact that there are guys who will trade a dude 50 bucks worth of food stamps for 20 bucks worth of weed. Or give them a 20 dollar food stamp for a case of beer. Now that they have gone to loading this on a credit card, they just go to the store and shop with the guy to get him his dollars worth of food stamps, but they still trade them for drugs and alcohol, and I see it all the time. I see guys go in there, wearing 200.00 top of the line Lebron James sneakers, expensive leather jackets, and those baggy jeans with all the pockets that cost over 100 bucks a pair. Then they buy 400.00 worth of beef and pork, with food stamps, and leave the store and climb into their Escalade and drive off. With the 800.00 spinner rims. Sorry. There is something wrong with this picture, that the government is taking my hard earned money, and giving it to thousands upon thousands of people like this. And if any of you dont believe me, go to any store, in any town, on the day their cards are reloaded with that weeks food stamp allotment, and tell me what you see. Its disgusting, and its wrong. And it needs to stop.

He is a strict ideologue who like Obama and Michael Moore want to undermind American values.

I saw McCain on Fox News promoting the idea of sending American jobs and businesses to Egypt to give a boost to their new revolution. He was questioned on that in time of American need but stood firm. It was painful for me to hear him say that. If McCain receives Soros money, and I do not doubt it, it should have been exploited in his last election. We should assume we are at war with Soros and anyone he backs.

Gold, buy gold and silver….and the only people getting any benefits from it are the ones selling it to you. If we are really in such dire times, why do THEY sell of they’re gold and silver to you….for so called worthless fiat money? I mean come on, think, for once in your lifetime think, if our money is really going down the tube and is on its way to become worthless why would anyone sell they’re stock of gold and silver for worthless paper? Out of the goodness of they’re hearts? I don’t think so…unless its a get rich quick scam…and the people who will get rich is not the buyers.

As always, follow the money trail.

    • WayneT

JR, I think your right about this. I have not bought any gold, nor silver. In this time of era the farmers would fare the best since they can raise their own crops, hunt and etc. I was born in 1937 doing the great depression. We lived on a farm. We had cattle, chickens, hogs, and with an abundance of wild animals such as squirrels and rabbits, we alway had something to eat. With all the folks living in cities today, I would not have any idea how they would survive. I think what has happened is that this generation of today has had it too nice, and they got spoiled. Most people only live from paycheck to paycheck, and never save any money for a rainy day. Of course after seeing our government in action with all their wastefulness, I guess the people thought they could live the same way. Since I went through the tail end of a depression, I see things different than most folks of today who didn’t go through one.

      • Al Sieber

WayneT, in Germany, during the Weimar Republic, the farmers wouldn’t take paper money for food, they’d rather let it rot.

        • JC

          They did take coal though.
In fact a local coal mine began issuing it’s own scrip which could be redeemed in coal. The local government quickly arrested everyone involved…

      • meteorlady

Ah yes, the people in the cities. I love it when I hear all the little liberals calling us red necks and bigoted racists. We will survive, they will not. They are dependent on the corporations for their food, water, heat and transportation. We are dependent on ourselves. We can barter, grow food and survive. They will sit, like the New Orleans people, waiting for the government to show up and help them. Maybe it’s a good thing, we will get rid of a lot of liberal bloodsuckers.

        • ValDM

I would hope you are right, but I fear you are wrong. I recently was made aware of a nifty trick Stalin did in Ukraine in 1932-33 when the people there resisted his attempts at collectivizing farms. Since the O-man is Stalin’s #1 fan, I would just about bet my last dime that this is up his sleeve. There are too many sites to list here, but Google : Holodomor or sometimes spelled Golodomor. It’s mind-numbing that Stalin could implement the unthinkable, but he did, and I’ll bet that some version of this is coming soon to a community near you.

          • ValDM

I forgot to add this. If you think it can’t happen here, at least one of these sites I mentioned has a map. Take a real close look at the sheer size of the affected area. yeah, it CAN happen here.

          • http://?? Joe H.

            ValDM
stalin was one sick puppy, I hope your prediction is wrong, dude!!

        • Vigilant

          meteorlady,

“We can barter, grow food and survive.” Wish it were that simple. The Congress passed a law that will now allow the Feds to come on your land and confiscate your food in times of crisis. And most of the Repubs voted for it as well. Sad (and dangerous) times we live in.

          • Al Sieber

You’re right Vigilant, it’s called the “Model State Emergency Health Powers Act”, they can take anything you have.

          • JC

Al, seems like another case of “The Law is an Ass”.
But as always, justice shall issue forth at just over 2000 feet per second. ;)

        • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Not only that, we know how to treat people and how to depend upon each other with an equal give and take thing for the betterment of all involved. The liberals only care about themselves, and what is in it for them, and that will be obvious, as they will be the ones trying to sneak in and steal stuff in the dark, and getting a cap busted off in their monkey you know what.

          • JR

This is a bit too much of an generalization, and if you live by that you will be death fast ITSHTF people you trust will kill you. There are criminals and drug abusers in every layer of society and within every political group.
There will be a large portion of people on the right who will go bad, and there will be an large portion on the left that will go bad.
According to a friend of mine who teaches on a conservative college, he predicts that there will be 2 main bands of marauders if this society collapses. One will be the criminal gangs in the city that will after a few initial turf wars combine into large dominating groups and the other will be people that would be considered conservatives that get together in large groups and start terrorizing the areas under the disguise of bringing order..
Always remember, just because someone has a certain believe does not make them immune from becoming tyrants to others.

Everyone will be working hard to implement they’re version of political utopia.

In the end, they either will combine, compromise, or be destroyed by the others.

      • JR

ITSHTF, someone could come with a cart full of gold or silver to my farm and he would get not even one potato from me for it. All he could have if he doesn’t leave really fast is a bullet between the eyes.
Come and barter goods I need for food you need…fine. But what do I need gold or silver for? its useless, I can’t eat it, can’t make tools from it. Gold is only expensive because people desire it for jewelery and because of speculation on wall street.
ITSHTF, people have a lot of things to worry about and owning gold is far down the list.

    • Al Sieber

You need to read history and the coinage act of 1792, if gold and silver isn’t worth anything why won’t they let the gold reserves in Ft. Knox be audited? every time gold is mentioned as a hedge against inflation you put it down and push fiat money, you need to follow the money trail.

      • meteorlady

I think that we can get buy without gold if we have items to barter with. If I was truly thirsty and the water supply was bad, I would trade a lot to get a filtration system. What we are saying is that you can’t just survive on gold and silver, you have to be able to take care of yourself and your family and that means self-sufficiency. I could stay alive by bartering food, water, even medicine that I have amassed.

        • Al Sieber

meteorlady, thats what I do, I barter or trade, some people I know want silver for their goods, others want ammo or fresh eggs etc. I enjoy the barter system and am proud to be a “Redneck”.

          • http://?? Joe H.

            Al,
All through out history, gold and silver has never gone to zero worth. I collect coins and have for quite awhile. I figure it gets two birds with one stone. If it does happen to go to zero, hey what the hell have I lost? there’s gonna be a whole lot of worse problems than the little I wasted on my hobby if it gets THAT bad!!!

          • Dan az

            Hey Al
I find here that providing a service to fix things that dont work is a great way to barter. They cant afford a new one so the old one has to keep working.Generators, cars ect. They always seem to have something that you need.I have even traded for dried food storage. With the price of gas going though the roof they are now bringing me motorcycles that havent run for 34 years, runs great now.Services are going to be the only thing that our survival will depend on.The fiat dollar is not being excepted in most countries and we are on the verge of collapse this year so gas, gold, silver, food, water and most importantly lead will be the most bartered here.BTW if you need batteries let me know I can get them for less than half price.Store up bud its going to be a long ride!

          • Al Sieber

Joe H., you got that right, people don’t follow history, or don’t care. there is a gold and silver shortage, they can’t mine enough to keep up with the demand, I know because I’m in the business, hang on to your investment, you’ll never lose.

          • Al Sieber

Dan, what kind of batteries do you have? are they deep cycle? would you trade some gold for them?

          • Dan az

            Hey Al
There deep cycle agm they go for 225 a piece but I can get them for 70 brand new just dosent have handles. so they are sold to us for seconds I have 20 and been on them for a few years now they never dropped below 12.4 even when it was -14 here they dont gas and are sealed you can run them upside sown if you want.Ill ask him if he wants some gold who knows,he is my battery guy from deca Ill see him on thursday.

      • http://donthaveone Beberoni

There isnt much if any gold left in Fort Knox. It was all moved to the basement of the Fed building in New York, and I have my sincere doubts as to if it is still there or not, as I believe all these foreigners that run the fed, have smuggled out out of the country bar by bar.

        • Dan az

          beberoni
they sold it to the chineese!

    • Cliffystones

That’s the rub JR. If you “bought” gold and silver (emphasis on the past tense here), then you have definitely seen it’s value in “worthless paper” go up and up. Hell, I bought some silver a year ago, it’s doubled in “value”. But I can’t eat it, drink it, smoke it, it won’t keep me warm and it’s not a very good kisser :).

If it gets as bad as we think it could, would you trade one of your 5 pound bags of flour for a few gold and/or silver coins? Me neither. If I’ve got a wheel barrow full of wheat and you’ve got a wheel barrow full of gold, who has whom by the privates here? I can simply wait until you die of starvation and “inherit” your gold!

And there’s some other wingnut out there telling people to buy farmland. What type of property rights do we actually think will exist if there are food riots? Even the ultra rich people like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet aren’t going to have any more security than they can feed.

      • Al Sieber

Good post Cliffy, you could always take JR’s gold at gun point instead of waiting for him to starve.

        • JR

My gold and silver Al? Good luck finding any, if you read my post again you will find that I advise against buying it. All you will find on my farm is food, animals, fruit and a bullet between the eyes if you try to get it. I would not trade one potato for a cart full of to me worthless gold. The only people that get rich are the gold traders and speculators…not the people buying it. As I said in my post, if we are in such dire need, if our money is really not worth anything and is collapsing why are THEY selling the gold to others? If they would heed the advice they give you (buy gold), they would keep every bit of it.
So, who are the wolfs and who are the sheep here? I believe that the buy gold push is nothing but a way for some people to get rich by trying to instill fear in others……if our money is really as bad as they say, why to they accept it in exchange for they’re “”superior”” gold….something is NOT right with that picture don’t you think?

      • busterggi

You got it right! Gold & silver only have value because people choose to give them value. A real world-wide economic crash would show how valueless they really are compared to food & water.

        • http://?? Joe H.

          busterggi,
I don’t know about that. even during the great depression, it never lost ALL value!! Hell, if need be, I can melt it down for bullets!!!

Save the silver ones for the vampires!

        • Al Sieber

Hey busterggi, where the hell did you grow up, in a cave? or do you still live in mommies garage with your blow up doll? precious metals will always be worth something read your history. I’ll take all the gold and silver you don’t want.

        • http://donthaveone Beberoni

When it comes down to times like that, your absolutely correct. A sandwich will far out weigh a gold bar in value. And those that are collecting gold and silver, as you buy it, it is registered, and when the government wants it, they will know where to look when they come to get it, just like FDR did in the past.

          • http://?? Joe H.

            Beberoni,
WRONG! None of mine is registered as I have bought it all from private owners and coin shows never bought any that used a reciept!!

    • meteorlady

I’m banking on some silver and gold, but mostly food and items that are easily bartered like alcohol. I have food put away, am starting my garden next week and we have a couple of cows running on some property we own. I have a way to filter any water into drinking water and I have guns and ammo. Not sure what else I need, but I think in my community most people are also doing a lot of what I am doing. That’s about as good as we can get if this actually happens and it’s look more like it every day.

      • http://?? Joe H.

JR, Gold and Silver are just commodities and are traded on the market like any other commodity. The big sellers of gold are mining companies that dig up gold ore, refine it, then sell their gold on the open market. It’s a business that goes on 24/7.

    • Bruce D.

JR, people sell and trade gold and silver for a living. They do not have the ability to buy all of the gold for themselves. There are literally thousands of people who sell gold as a small business for a transaction fee. In Asia gold shops are everywhere as gold jewery is in demand. Some people like you do not see or feel inflation until it is too late. If you would have bought gold or silver just a few years back you would have tripled your money like many did on this site. But still you are missing the point. Commodities are a hedge against inflation. As Bob pointed out even stockpiling food at this point is a hedge against inflation even if there is never a shortage.

    • Lastmanstanding

JR Let’s just say that the dollar becomes worthless. I hear everyone say that it based on some form of fiat/paper whatever you want to call it. Precious metals have always been valuable since people were on the planet. Let’s say you still have a mortage when the dollar is kaput…you may have a chance to continue on with whoever comes to collect payment. YOU CAN BET THAT SOMEONE WILL BE COMING!!! It may take a while, BUT SOMEONE WILL BE COMING FOR THAT DEBT!!! It may buy you some time…

Someone else may not have precious metal because they couldn’t afford it. They have food stored, and abundance of cows, pigs, ammo, etc.
They can use the PM to barter somewhere else…it may buy them time.

I don’t have all the answers. I live by a simple code. “The planet only works one way.” It will provide for you if you try to understand it. There are and have been evil human forces at work for a long time…The earth will not put up with their crap. Good people must find each other and stand together.

I found this site a week ago. http://www.sonsoflibertyacademy.com
Instead of blogging all day spend a few hours checking it out. We all have to begin thinking way outside the box to survive what may come.

God Bless you and your family.

      • Bruce D.

The families of both my parents survived okay during the depression because they had a farm with cows on my mother’s side. My fathers side were good at fishing and hunting along with a small garden. My Aunt got the first job during the Depression and was literally considered a hero in the family for doing so.

  • http://charden@neo.rr.com Charles

    Warrior,
You hit it on the nose. As long as Obama and the Feds (Ben Bernake)
keep printing money, the closer America becomes the country Obama
and his Marxist loons have longed for. At first, we will no doubt,
become a Weimar Republic. After that, the complete dismantling of
America will have occured and our life as free Americans will come to an end. We can`t let them win now, or most of all in 2012. I just hope all Americans, Black,Brown, Red and White wake up and drive
Obama and his thugs, not only from Washington, but from our very shores.

    • WayneT

Why aren’t the American People up in arms with what is going on in this corrupt government? It just go to show that people are ignorant of the way this government is operating. How can we wake them up since most of the news agencies like, ABC, NBC, CBS and a lot of the other news agencies are in bed with Obama and the Federal Government? People must be listening to the wrong news. I am not ashamed to say, I listen to Fox New. They have video clips to back up their statements when they report something.

      • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Its the only truth out there, and they do at least let the other side come in and spew their poisonous views, letting them expose themselves for who they are. The alphabet networks are not interested in the truth at all, just their left wing agenda. Shame on them during the election, for not investigating and demanding answers about missing college papers, birth certificate authenticity, affiliations with Tony Rezko, Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers. About his muslim heritage and connection. No, he was given a free pass.

    • meteorlady

I don’t have a lot of faith in the voting public after Obama got in. I think that we have 50% of the people dependent on the government for entitlements or jobs and that they will keep voting they way they always have. Although I have seen a lot of liberals not liking Obama either, but in some cases they believe he’s not liberal enough and that is really scary.

If people are serious about all this, we need to stop letting liberal teachers stray from lessons to theology in their teachings. Children today are growing up thinking the government is the be all, end all of their lives and that is just not right.

      • Bruce D.

A huge test of the voting public will take place in Wisconsin when they hold recall elections for Scott Walker and other Republicans. If Liberals manage to recall them then I would say that the trend toward social and economical decay will continue unabated.

      • http://donthaveone Beberoni

You are correct. I raised my children to be dependant on themselves and God, not on the government, or on another person. And yet my daughter has grown up, and thinks it is great that her boyfriend has sat on his butt for a year and a half collecting unemployment, and that that is just great. Now, he is going to collect 1000.00 a month on the G.I. bill, go to college for 4 years just to do it with no objective, to collect the free grand to pay rent with, then worry about a job after that. Ive got a problem with a guy that spent 4 years in the military, and didnt bother to learn anything to get him a job, never leaving Norfolk, then coming home and living off my daughter for a year and a half, now 27, he will be 31 when these 4 years of milking the government is up, then he will still be unemployed, because frankly, he has no ambition. And if it werent for government handouts, the kind probably would have bucked down and had a job by now, or at least looked for one, but like they both said, why should he get a job when they are paying him almost 400 bucks a week to stay home. Its stupid, just plain stupid, to pay able bodied people that kind of money, as all it is, is an incentive for them NOT TO LOOK FOR A JOB. That is exactly what it does, and I see it and hear this over and over again. Its pathetic, the money our government gives away.

  • http://charden@neo.rr.com Charles

    i41,
Since election time our new elected officals have gotten more
mail than they can handle. I forgive them for not being able
to answer every letter they get. I do not forgive them on how they vote or how many times they miss a vote. Keep after your Congressman
and Senators and let them know that you are watching. In other words,
keep their feet to the fire. In the mean time, let them do their jobs, that we elected them to do.

  • Wally

It’s called “changing liquidity” , all the gold in the world is useless if a supply of food or shelter isn’t there for you to purchase. But, if you have the money now, you can build large store house’s and secure your survival in some manner of life. There are currently very large complex’s being constructed and supplied for groups of people all over this country to help them ride out the upcoming storm. If you do the research, you will understand that we are all being sold another bill of goods, but it won’t matter because the gold will have no true value. Your true value will be in your ability to show a value to those who will shelter you for your strenghs..the week will serve no purpose and be forcrd to parish. This sounds like crazy talk I know, but history dictates it and we have not reached a posistion of civilization yet to controll our future lives, rather a lot of us have given controll of our very exsistance to those who give us a falsly comforting way of life…

  • http://charden@neo.rr.com Charles

    Wayne T,
I ask the same question, why aren`t more people up in arms of
what is going on in Washington? I think your right, people just
don`t know, or are still blaming Bush. The main street media has done one hell of a job keeping Obama and his thugs clean of any wrong
doing. People just aren`t savey enough to look beyond their local
news paper. A great many people hate politics and just as soon not know. By the way, most of these people are either still working or
getting hand outs from the goverment. Most of them still think that they are still Democrats. They have no idea what a Progressive is.
God help us! if they don`t wake up soon.

    • meteorlady

Yes, we still have Reid and Pelosi – the idiots in those states (unions and entitlement pigs) voted them back into office. I have no faith in our federal government anymore. I wish my state, and a few others, would secede from the union. That would get the attention of the rats in Washington DC.

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

They can get away with blaming Bush, because the liberal media is with them in force, and they protect Obama and the muslims, and blame everyone else for everything that is going on, instead of doing their stinking jobs, and investigating things as they should, like where are the peaceful muslims at that should be speaking out in force against these tyrannical islam hell bent for leather terrorists, but yet I dont see them, and the liberal news keeps telling me it is a peaceful religion. Obama has close alliances with Tony Rezo, Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers and others, and nothing is asked about these relations. We all know if Bush was associated with these guys, it would still fill the TV news and newpapers to this day. And ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and MSNBC still cannot figure out why their ratings keep getting smaller and smaller and FOX News keeps getting a larger and larger share. Idiots.

  • http://charden@neo.rr.com Charles

    Wally,
I have to agree with you. I started to invest in gold right
after the first stimulus. I wanted to reach my goal of 20% of my net worth. I reached about 15% of that goal, when I realized, that gold
could become worthless and only food and housing would matter. Now if I had food and water and say 20 of my neighbors didn`t have any,
they would probley kill me over it. There is only one answer, and that
is to get your house in order with God,and let him take over, because he is anyway.

    • James

Charles, Gold would never become worthless, possession of it might be outlawed (like FDR did) but it never becomes worthless. Even if its price goes down, then everything else that’s priced in dollars goes down also, and your gold still buys the same amount of goods. Gold simply reflects the amount of a given currency in circulation.

    • Lastmanstanding

Charles. God would want you to by a firearm…”Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.”

  • meteorlady

This is the path to economic collapse. After that they bankers will come in and rebuild so that we are all low paid government slaves.

I am not buying a lot of gold. I do have silver, though I haven’t gone overboard. I can’t eat, drink or cure my illness with gold. I can, however, barter with what I have on hand. I would much rather have a sack of flower than a brick of gold if the food wars start.

I the past year I have learned to can, bake bread, grow herbs and vegetables and am trying to figure out what fruit will grow here so I can plan some trees. I have a couple of cows and I breed them and sell the calves each season for now. I can filter water and I have an idea a pellet stove would be a good thing to own. I am also purchasing a food dehydrator and learning to use that.

It’s about as prepared as I can get I think.

    • Carlucci

I agree. Hang on to your bread machines, slow cookers, grills, and get a solar stove and water purifier, like a Berkey.

After “Himmacane” IKE, we were using the propane grill to cook food from the freezer that had thawed due to no electricity. We even baked pizza on the grill. Unfortunately I was sad to see long lines outside the local Denny’s, IHOP, and fast food outlets once the power came on in some areas. People apparently are so used to eating virtually every meal out, that they were willing to stand in long lines for hours. While I waited for the power to come back on, I survived for two weeks on non-perishables like peanut butter, apples, oranges, nuts, seeds, and canned beans.

      • WayneT

Carlucci, thanks for the good advice. Now if folks will only listen. Some folks have to go through something like this is order to learn anything, like you have stated. It is just like when people had to go through the great depression, they learned the hard way, but the folks who never went through this, does not comprehend the magnitude of something like this. I liken this to telling your child something. The parent has been through this, but the child has not. The child does not listen so they too, will have to learn the hard way.

        • Carlucci

You are very welcome, WayneT. I live pretty simply and have for years, so doing without a few every day conveniences during IKE wasn’t so hard. I don’t eat out a lot anyway, so that was no biggie. Thank goodness I have a gas water heater and wasn’t without hot water for two weeks – ! I was very happy about that.

    • JR

Unless you have a way to manufacture pellets or a replacement and you are sure you always have electricity to run the blower, I would advice against a pellet stove. Buy a wood stove, although it is not as efficient as a pellet stove in normal times, ITSHTF it is not efficiency you want but versatility. A wood stove can burn…wood, paper, coal, dried straw ,dried cow dung, old corn stalks, plastics, everything that can be burned and “salvaged” to be burned.
So, If I would be in your place, I would research this a bid more and think hard about it.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        JR,
Be careful burning certain types of plastic in fireplaces or wood stoves. when burned some plastics put off cyanide gas!

Inflation is like any storm – you have to ride it out. In 1918 the German Mark traded at 4 to the dollar. Five years later, in November 1923, it traded at 4 trillion to the dollar. During the turmoil, women sold themselves for commodities, people were paid twice a day and bought anything they could, because the money would soon be worthless but they could trade the commodity. Prices rose 10 times every eight days. In November 1923 twelve zeros were crossed off and new money was issued and held at 4 Marks to the dollar through the second world war. By 1925, those that had equities in 1918 were basically unaffected, but the middle class were the most harmed. The mentallity of the people was effected to the point that a stable government could not be established for years, until Hitler was appointed Chancellor, established dictatorial control, and stability and prosperity returned. But that went overboard, too.

    • http://?? Joe H.

      BrassRing,
It was still at four to the dollar in 1968 when I was there. We used to get them in our change at the PX there!! Now, I think it’s down

      • http://?? Joe H.

Excuse me, I hit the wrong button before I could finish. As of 2001 right before switching to the euro, it was 2.067 per dollar. I still have a few that I brought home and I have them sealed as they are almost uncirculated condition.

    • Carlucci

That’s what I am curious about. Are we in a cycle, or is this TEOTWAWKI?

      • Richard Pawley

It it’s a cycle it’s a once in 500 year cycle, or maybe more. Years ago I wrote that we seem to be going the way Rome went and I have seen nothing to make me change my mind. Will food prices tripling before commerce comes to a standstill when currencies are destroyed worldwide be the end of the world as we know it? That’s for every person to decide for themselves. What difference does it make really? It will be change on a scale that will be awesome. What counts, ultimately, in the physical world, is having what we need for life, quality food, clothes, housing. Our lives are likely to get much simpler as our standard of living goes down. If you are fortunate enough to have a relationship with God you can always pray for guidance and direction. Nothing is a surprise to him. Even now there is shortage of long term so-called emergency foods and a many months waiting period. Millions in this country are getting ready but most are counting on the government. I think those who do will be greatly disappointed. The only one who can be counted on is God and that assumes one belongs to Him and has a relationship with Him. If not, start to build up a good emergency pantry or cupboard, and learn all you can. Read the gospels AND Acts (which is just after the gospels). Learn all you can about buying in season and canning and growing your own, and buy the things you are likely to really need, to much to tell in a letter, but figure on prices at least tripling in the not-to-distant future (but not houses), and you won’t go far wrong. God loves you.

    • Al Sieber

BrassRing, you got that right except Hitler was elected.

This political-induced disaster must stop! If the dollar is to remain the world’s reserve currency, certain steps must be taken to assure that it remains so. First of all, fire all non-essential government-employed bureaucrats, especially those czars – smaller government means less tax, which will strengthen the dollar. Provide an opportunity for businesses to invest in America – to invest means to buy into the economy, thus making it lucrative and giving it a shot in the arm, which will attract more and more business and provide more job openings, especially to those fired bureaucrats who may want to get into something else. Raising tax on business has never solved anything. Taxation means to borrow or, in my words, to steal. The reason why taxation is no good is because it has to be paid back, but due to governmental bumbling efforts most of it has never been paid back and has caused many businesses to leave this country. As the old saying goes, “Investments attract while taxation repels.” Taxation is one of the main culprits along with big government that causes prices to sky rocket to exorbitant amounts for basic essentials such as fuel and food.

Union bosses are too dependent on government. The union worker is actually a peasant and must pay union dues. When strikes become an issue, only the union boss benefits and the worker gets the same take home pay. The reason for strikes to begin with is to allow union bosses to raise union dues and pocket all that extra money. Get rid of the unions and fire the bosses!!!

Most importantly, we are becoming more and more complacent with the events around us by believing in all that garbage each and every news media outlet dishes out. It’s up to each and every average American to wake up and break out of this state of complacency by turning off the television set and stop being too dependent on the media, which sides more with government. Screw on what they tell you!!!

  • peter robison

You won’t go hungary Bob, you will have your words to eat when instead of inflation, we go through a prolonged deflation. Read your history books, after a massive bubble collapse, as in our current situation, it is always followed by deflation. Food prices, like any good or commodity, are determined by the laws of supply and demand, and not by currency exchange rates.

  • Moonsi

    Bob,

This is a very important message you are sending. We need to be in the survival mode. I went through a war so I know one needs food water and real money. Of course don’t forget God. He is the only strength in any circumstances. I know what I am talking about.

    • WayneT

Moonsi, I believe this has been caused by Congress over the last 30 years. When money comes easy, it goes easy. The poor hard working folks in this country who pays taxes to the government are the losers. I have lost my respect for our Congress, and to the dimwit we call our president. Since Obama has been in office he have spent nearly $4,000,000,000,000, and what have we accomplished, not a damn thing. I certainly hope the Conservatives can get out there in 2012, and defeat the Union organizers, the Communist, the Socialist to where we can get rid of the man we call our preident, and established a government that is for the people again. If we do not, this will be our last chance to save this country.

  • Marty S.

Amen to that Wayne. We are glued, screwed and barbecued if Obama stays on for another four years. About half the population of this country has drank his koolaid and will likely insist on more of the same. As far as buying precious metals I missed that train but am stocking up on essentials in order for us to live and have barter- able skills and sunk a well about a year ago. I have stopped my 401 k to get ready for the long winter ahead. Good luck to all who post here.

    WHAT A SCARY FUTURE

(Frosty Wooldridge (born 1947) is a US journalist, writer, environmentalist, traveler)

    By Frosty Wooldridge

For 15 years, from the mid 1970s to 1990, I worked in Detroit, Michigan. I watched it descend into the abyss of crime, debauchery, gun play, drugs, school truancy, car-jacking, gangs, and human depravity. I watched entire city blocks burned out. I watched graffiti explode on buildings, cars, trucks, buses, and school yards. Trash everywhere!

Detroiters walked through it, tossed more into it, and ignored it. Tens of thousands, and then hundreds of thousands today exist on federal welfare, free housing, and food stamps!

With Aid to Dependent Children, minority women birthed eight to 10, and in one case, one woman birthed 24 children as reported by the Detroit Free Press, all on American taxpayer dollars.

A new child meant a new car payment, new TV, and whatever mom wanted. I saw Lyndon Baines Johnson’s ‘Great Society’ flourish in Detroit. If you give money for doing nothing, you will get more hands out taking money for doing nothing.

Mayor Coleman Young, perhaps the most corrupt mayor in America, outside of Richard Daley in Chicago, rode Detroit down to its knees… He set the benchmark for cronyism, incompetence, and arrogance. As a black man, he said, “I am the MFIC.” The IC meant “in charge”.

You can figure out the rest. Detroit became a majority black city with 67 percent African-Americans.

As a United Van Lines truck driver for my summer job from teaching math and science, I loaded hundreds of American families into my van for a new life in another city or state.

Detroit plummeted from 1.8 million citizens to 912,000 today. At the same time, legal and illegal immigrants converged on the city, so much so, that Muslims number over 300,000. Mexicans number 400,000 throughout Michigan, but most work in Detroit. As the whites moved out, the Muslims moved in.

As the crimes became more violent, the whites fled. Finally, unlawful Mexicans moved in at a torrid pace. Detroit suffers so much shoplifting that grocery stores no longer operate in many inner city locations. You could cut the racial tension in the air with a knife!

Detroit may be one of our best examples of multiculturalism: pure dislike, and total separation from America.

Today, you hear Muslim calls to worship over the city like a new American Baghdad with hundreds of Islamic mosques in Michigan, paid for by Saudi Arabia oil money. High school flunk out rates reached 76 percent last June, according to NBC’s Brian Williams. Classrooms resemble more foreign countries than America. English? Few speak it! The city features a 50 percent illiteracy rate and growing.

Unemployment hit 28.9 percent in 2009 as the auto industry vacated the city. In Time Magazine’s October 4, 2009, “The Tragedy of Detroit: How a great city fell, and how it can rise again,” I choked on the writer’s description of what happened. “If Detroit had been ravaged by a hurricane, and submerged by a ravenous flood, we’d know a lot more about it,” said Daniel Okrent. “If drought, and carelessness had spread brush fires across the city, we’d see it on the evening news every night.”

Earthquake, tornadoes, you name it, if natural disaster had devastated the city that was once the living proof of American prosperity, the rest of the country might take notice.

But Detroit, once our fourth largest city, now 11th, and slipping rapidly, has had no such luck. Its disaster has long been a slow unwinding that seemed to remove it from the rest of the country.

Even the death rattle that in the past year emanated from its signature industry brought more attention to the auto executives than to the people of the city, who had for so long been victimized by their dreadful decision making.”

As Coleman Young’s corruption brought the city to its knees, no amount of federal dollars could save the incredible payoffs, kick backs, and illegality permeating his administration. I witnessed the city’s death from the seat of my 18-wheeler tractor trailer because I moved people out of every sector of decaying Detroit.

“By any quantifiable standard, the city is on life support. Detroit’s treasury is $300 million short of the funds needed to provide the barest municipal services,” Okrent said. “The school system, which six years ago was compelled by the teachers’ union to reject a philanthropist’s offer of $200 million to build 15 small, independent charter high schools, is in receivership. The murder rate is soaring, and 7 out of 10 remain unsolved. Three years after Katrina devastated New Orleans, unemployment in that city hit a peak of 11%. In Detroit, the unemployment rate is 28..9%.

That’s worth spelling out: twenty-eight point nine percent.” At the end of Okrent’s report, and he will write a dozen more about Detroit, he said, “That’s because the story of Detroit is not simply one of a great city’s collapse, it’s also about the erosion of the industries that helped build the country we know today. The ultimate fate of Detroit will reveal much about the character of America in the 21st century. If what was once the most prosperous manufacturing city in the nation has been brought to its knees, what does that say about our recent past? And if it can’t find a way to get up, what does that say about our future?”

As you read in my book review of Chris Steiner’s book, “$20 Per Gallon”, the auto industry won’t come back. Immigration will keep pouring more, and more uneducated third world immigrants from the Middle East into Detroit, thus creating a beachhead for Islamic hegemony in America . If 50 percent illiteracy continues, we will see more homegrown terrorists spawned out of the Muslim ghettos of Detroit . Illiteracy plus Islam equals walking human bombs.

You have already seen it in Madrid , Spain; London, England and Paris, France with train bombings, subway bombings and riots. As their numbers grow, so will their power to enact their barbaric Sharia Law that negates republican forms of government, first amendment rights, and subjugates women to the lowest rungs on the human ladder. We will see more honor killings by upset husbands, fathers, and brothers that demand subjugation by their daughters, sisters and wives. Muslims prefer beheadings of women to scare the hell out of any other members of their sect from straying. Multiculturalism: what a perfect method to kill our language, culture, country, and way of life

And this IS what liberalism/socialism/communism is all about!

Coming soon, to a liberal city near YOU!

I PRAY EVERYONE THAT READS THIS REALIZES THAT IF WE DON’T STAND UP, AND SCREAM AT WASHINGTON , AND OUR STATE, CITY, AND LOCAL LEADERS THIS IS WHAT AWAITS THE REST OF AMERICA . IF YOU FOLLOW THE NEWS AT ALL YOU KNOW THIS HAS HAPPENED IN ENGLAND , AND FRANCE AND SPAIN .

IF YOU THINK THIS IS JUST A BUNCH OF HOOEY AND YOU FEEL NO DUTY TO FIGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY, THEN I DON’T KNOW WHAT IT WILL TAKE FOR YOU TO STAND AND FIGHT.
This is why the tea party movement is so important for the future of our country. This is why we better wake up and see just how strongly we are being led down the road to socialism and even forms of communism. Detroit is just one example of how devastating these roads lead. These political forms of life have not worked anywhere and we are seeing their destruction right before our eyes in Greece, France, England, etc.

I live about three hours west of Detroit, last visit there was 2 years ago and it is a scary place indeed.

    • WayneT

Since you live close by, Marty, would you classify this as a true statement? It came in my e-mail. It appears to have been written by some one who is knowledgeable about this area. It is hard to believe this is happening in the Uited States. I guess is is a lack of education, moral values, and a work ethic. I feel we need all three to have a viable community.

      • Marty S.

Yes for the most part. I went to a Detroit Tigers triple header one weekend there a couple of summers ago. That part of the city was cleaned up fairly well but the surrounding areas were in pretty rough shape. Detroit has a suffered a lot of blight in the last 20-30 years. Its not dead yet but barely breathing. Michigan in general has had it pretty rough lately but the people here have toughed it out before. I think our new Governor Rick Snyder has some practical ideas and I can tell that by the amount of demonstrating going on at the capitol. I agree that if we lack moral values, a positive work ethic, and are not properly educated especially about the founding principles this country was built on we are going to crumble as a nation.
We need to get back to the basics. The 2010 elections were good start.

          Marty,
I was born and raised in the Adrian/Tecumseh area!! Lenawee county. I remember such good times in Michigan, but not lately. thankfully my father didn’t live to see the down fall of his second love, his state! God Help those folks there as they are going to need it!

The administration is simply doing what George Soros asked them to do, and it is an un-American activity. George will get richer when the dollar collapses, and the administration will get to become socialist Premier, and Commissars of anything they want. It is Marxist, pure and simple.

JoeH;I was born and raised in Michigan in the UP as a yooper.I don’t know if you have ever been to the area but I travel all over the world now and that is still one of the most beautiful areas I have ever seen. The area never did have a good economy after the copper mines closed down and I believe in the Ishpeming area some iron mining is still going on.I still go back every couple of years to hunt fish and just take in the beauty and visit relatives. With all the problems in Japan I can see Detroits auto industry picking up somewhat.

Here is an idea! How about a political Party that only cares about the future of America and it’s citizens. The USA should get out of all foreign treaties. Quit being the world’s policeman!Gut the military budget. We only need a military strong enough to protect the USA! Get rid of illegals. AMERICA FIRST!!!

US economy is in a deep hole and US shouldn’t dig any more. Reckless money printing known as “Quantitative Easing” and economical stimulus packages introduced in the aftermath of the Credit Crunch, has made very little impact on the growth of US economy. Current US economical growth is not adequate enough to create jobs and to get an economy back on track. Now the banks are under enormous pressure to lend more money but reckless lending by banks got US into this mess in the first place. The economical problems in Greece, Spain and Italy are very precarious. The bailout phenomenon is not working in Greece which is on the brink of defaulting on its debt. It is impossible for the EU to bailout Italy which is the third largest economy in Europe.

    US$, Wars & Earthquakes

    By Nalliah Thayabharan

At the end of WWII, an agreement was reached at the Bretton Woods Conference which pegged the value of gold at US$35 per ounce and that became the international standard against which currency was measured. But in 1971, US President Richard Nixon took the US$ off the gold standard and ever since the US$ has been the most important global monetary instrument, and only the US can print them. However, there were problems with this arrangement not least of all that the US$ was effectively worthless than before it reneged on the gold-standard. But more importantly because it was the world’s reserve currency, everybody was saving their surpluses in US$. To maintain the US$’s pre-eminence, the Richard Nixon administration impressed upon Saudi Arabia and therefore Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries(OPEC) to sell their oil only in US$. This did two things; it meant that oil sales supported the US$ and also allowed the USA access to exchange risk free oil. The USA propagates war to protect its oil supplies, but even more importantly, to safeguard the strength of the US$. The fear of the consequences of a weaker US$, particularly higher oil prices is seen as underlying and explaining many aspects of the US foreign policy, including the Iraq and Libyan War.

The reality is that the value of the US$ is determined by the fact that oil is sold in US$. If the denomination changes to another currency, such as the euro, many countries would sell US$and cause the banks to shift their reserves, as they would no longer need US$ to buy oil. This would thus weaken the US$ relative to the euro. A leading motive of the US in the Iraq war — perhaps the fundamental underlying motive, even more than the control of the oil itself — is an attempt to preserve the US$ as the leading oil trading currency. Since it is the USA that prints the US$, they control the flow of oil. Period. When oil is denominated in US$ through US state action and the US$ is the only fiat currency for trading in oil, an argument can be made that the USA essentially owns the world’s oil for free. Now over $1.3 trillion of newly printed US$ by US Federal Reserve is flooding into international commodity markets each year.

So long as almost three quarter of world trade is done in US$, the US$ is the currency which central banks accumulate as reserves. But central banks, whether China or Japan or Brazil or Russia, do not simply stack US$ in their vaults. Currencies have one advantage over gold. A central bank can use it to buy the state bonds of the issuer, the USA. Most countries around the world are forced to control trade deficits or face currency collapse. Not the USA. This is because of the US$ reserve currency role. And the underpinning of the reserve role is the petrodollar. Every nation needs to get US$ to import oil, some more than others. This means their trade targets US$ countries.

Because oil is an essential commodity for every nation, the Petrodollar system, which exists to the present, demands the buildup of huge trade surpluses in order to accumulate US$ surpluses. This is the case for every country but one — the USA which controls the US$ and prints it at will or fiat. Because today the majority of all international trade is done in US$, countries must go abroad to get the means of payment they cannot themselves issue. The entire global trade structure today works around this dynamic, from Russia to China, from Brazil to South Korea and Japan. Everyone aims to maximize US$ surpluses from their export trade.

Until November 2000, no OPEC country dared violate the US$ price rule. So long as the US$ was the strongest currency, there was little reason to as well. But November was when French and other Euroland members finally convinced Saddam Hussein to defy the USA by selling Iraq’s oil-for-food not in US$, ‘the enemy currency’ as Iraq named it, but only in euros. The euros were on deposit in a special UN account of the leading French bank, BNP Paribas. Radio Liberty of the US State Department ran a short wire on the news and the story was quickly hushed.

This little-noted Iraq move to defy the US$ in favor of the euro, in itself, was insignificant. Yet, if it were to spread, especially at a point the US$ was already weakening, it could create a panic selloff of US$ by foreign central banks and OPEC oil producers. In the months before the latest Iraq war, hints in this direction were heard from Russia, Iran, Indonesia and even Venezuela. An Iranian OPEC official, Javad Yarjani, delivered a detailed analysis of how OPEC at some future point might sell its oil to the EU for euros not US$. He spoke in April, 2002 in Oviedo Spain at the invitation of the EU. All indications are that the Iraq war was seized on as the easiest way to deliver a deadly pre-emptive warning to OPEC and others, not to flirt with abandoning the Petro-dollar system in favor of one based on the euro. The Iraq move was a declaration of war against the US$. As soon as it was clear that the UK and the US had taken Iraq, a great sigh of relief was heard in the UK Banks.

First Iraq and then Libya decided to challenge the petrodollar system and stop selling all their oil for US$, shortly before each country was attacked. The cost of war is not nearly as big as it is made out to be. The cost of not going to war would be horrendous for the US unless there were another way of protecting the US$’s world trade dominance. The US pays for the wars by printing US$ it is going to war to protect.

After considerable delay, Iran opened an oil bourse which does not accept US$. Many people fear that the move will give added reason for the USA to overthrow the Iranian regime as a means to close the bourse and revert Iran’s oil transaction currency to US$. In 2006 Venezuela indicated support of Iran’s decision to offer global oil trade in euro. In 2011 Russia begins selling its oil to China in rubles

6 months before the US moved into Iraq to take down Saddam Hussein, Iraq had made the move to accept Euros instead of US$ for oil, and this became a threat to the global dominance of the US$ as the reserve currency, and its dominion as the petrodollar.

Muammar Qaddafi made a similarly bold move: he initiated a movement to refuse the US$ and the euro, and called on Arab and African nations to use a new currency instead, the gold dinar. Muammar Qaddafi suggested establishing a united African continent, with its 200 million people using this single currency. The initiative was viewed negatively by the USA and the European Union (EU), with French president Nicolas Sarkozy calling Libya a threat to the financial security of mankind; but Muammar Qaddafi continued his push for the creation of a united Africa.

Muammar Gaddafi’s recent proposal to introduce a gold dinar for Africa revives the notion of an Islamic gold dinar floated in 2003 by Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, as well as by some Islamist movements. The notion, which contravenes IMF rules and is designed to bypass them, has had trouble getting started. But today Iran, China, Russia, and India are stocking more and more gold rather than US$.

If Muammar Qaddafi were to succeed in creating an African Union backed by Libya’s currency and gold reserves, France, still the predominant economic power in most of its former Central African colonies, would be the chief loser. The plans to spark the Benghazi rebellion were initiated by French intelligence services in November 2010.

In February 2011, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), has called for a new world currency that would challenge the dominance of the US$ and protect against future financial instability. In May 2011 a 32 year old maid, Nafissatou Diallo, working at the Sofitel New York Hotel, alleges that Strauss-Kahn had sexually assaulted her after she entered his suite.

Accepting Chinese yuans for oil, Iran and Venzuelathey have constantly been threatened by the US. If euros, yens, yuans or rubles were generally accepted for oil, the US$ would quickly become irrelevant and worthless paper. This petro dollar arrangement is enforced by the U.S. military.

On Aug 18 2011, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez announces a plan to pull Gold reserves from US and European Banks .Venezuela reportedly has the largest oil reserves in the world. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has been a strong proponent for tighter Latin America integration – which is a move away from the power of the US banking cartels.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez formed oil export agreements with Cuba, directly bypassing the Petrodollar System. Cuba was among those countries that were later added to the “Axis of Evil” by the USA. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has accused the US of using HAARP type weapons to create earthquakes.

On Aug 24, 2001 a 7 magnitude earthquake rocks Northern Peru bordering Venezuela which doesn’t use the Petrodollar system and Brazil which has been engaged in discussions to end US$ denominated oil transactions. Is it a coincidence that these uncommonly powerful earthquakes are occurring in historically uncommonly large numbers during such a short period of time?. And that they are occurring in or close to countries that have been seriously discussing plans to leave the Petrodollar system, or are already outside it?

HAARP stands for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. It is an ionospheric research program that is jointly funded by the US Air Force, the US Navy, the University of Alaska and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. The HAARP program operates a major Arctic facility, known as the HAARP Research Station. It is located on an US Air Force owned site near Gakona, Alaska. HAARP has the ability to manipulate weather and produce earthquakes. It is capable of directing almost 4 Mega Watts of energy in the 3 to 10 MHz region of the HF band up into the ionosphere. This energy can be bounced off of the ionosphere and directed back down at the earth to create earthquakes. Patents have been applied for discussing such applications. HAARP could potentially be used by adversaries to produce such events.

HAARP based technology is being actively used to emit powerful radio waves that permeate the earth and subsequently cause strong enough oscillations along fault lines of targeted areas to produce earthquakes.

Thigh power radio waves of HAARP can be used to produce such intense vibrations as to cause an earthquake. HAARP based technology can be used to encourage/produce various weather phenomena such as hurricanes, flooding, or drought through manipulation of the ionosphere. Already Russia, China and Venezuela have suggested that a HAARP type technology weapon is capable of such and attack and been used against several countries causing severe destructions in Haiti, Japan, Russia, China, Iran, Chile, New Zealand, Afghanistan, India etc.

What would the probable response be to such an attack be? An armed conflict with the US? Or perhaps something more within reach and even more damaging at this point, the elimination of the Petrodollar system and a subsequent dumping of surplus US$ into the international and US financial markets resulting in the quick collapse of the US$. Attacking these countries with HAARP would destabilize their economies and currencies and to prevent a move away from the US$ and the Petrodollar system.

Germany was hopelessly broke when Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933 . The Treaty of Versailles (le Traité de Versailles) had imposed crushing reparations on the German people, demanding that Germans repay every nation’s costs of the war. These costs totaled three times the value of all the property in Germany.

Private currency speculators caused the German currency to plummet, precipitating one of the worst runaway inflations in modern times. A wheelbarrow full of 100 billion-mark banknotes could not buy a loaf of bread. The national treasury was empty. Countless homes and farms were lost to speculators and to private Zionist controlled banks. Germans lived in hovels. They were starving.

Nothing like this had ever happened before – the total destruction of the national currency – German mark, plus the wiping out of German’s savings and businesses. On top of this came a global depression. Germany had no choice but to succumb to debt slavery under international Zionist bankers until 1933, when the National Socialists came to power. At that point the German government thwarted the Zionist international banking cartels by issuing its own money. Zionist bankers responded by declaring a global boycott against Germany.

Adolf Hitler began a national credit program by devising a plan of public works that included flood control, repair of public buildings and private residences, and construction of new roads, bridges, canals, and port facilities. All these were paid for with money that no longer came from the private international Zionist bankers.

The projected cost of these various programs was fixed at one billion units of the national currency. To pay for this, the German government (not the international Zionist bankers) issued bills of exchange, called Labor Treasury Certificates. In this way the National Socialists put millions of people to work, and paid them with Treasury Certificates.

Under the National Socialists, Germany’s money wasn’t backed by gold which was owned by the international Zionist bankers. It was essentially a receipt for labor and materials delivered to the government. Adolf Hitler said, “For every mark issued, we required the equivalent of a mark’s worth of work done, or goods produced.” The government paid workers in Certificates. Workers spent those Certificates on other goods and services, thus creating more jobs for more people. In this way the German people climbed out of the crushing debt imposed on them by the international Zionist bankers.

Within two years, the unemployment problem in Germany had been solved, and Germany was back on its feet. It had a solid, stable currency, with no debt, and no inflation, at a time when millions of people in the United States and other Western countries controlled by international Zionist bankers were still out of work. Within five years, Germany went from the poorest nation in Europe to the richest.

Germany even managed to restore foreign trade, despite the international Zionist bankers’ denial of foreign credit to Germany, and despite the global boycott by Zionist-owned industries. Germany succeeded in this by exchanging equipment and commodities directly with other countries, using a barter system that cut the private Zionist bankers out of the picture. Germany flourished, since barter eliminates national debt and trade deficits. Today Venezuela does the same thing today when it trades oil for commodities, plus medical help, and so on. Hence the Zionist bankers are trying to squeeze Venezuela.

Hjalmar Schacht, a Rothschild agent who was temporarily head of the German central bank, summed it up thus… An American banker had commented, “Dr. Schacht, you should come to America. We’ve lots of money and that’s real banking.” Schacht replied, “You should come to Berlin. We don’t have money. That’s real banking.”

Schacht, the Rothschild agent, actually supported the private international Zionist bankers against Germany, and was rewarded by having all charges against him dropped at the Nuremberg trials.

This economic freedom made Adolf Hitler extremely popular with the German people. Germany was rescued from English economic theory, which says that all currency must be borrowed against the gold owned by a private and secretive Zionist banking cartel — such as the Federal Reserve, or the Central Bank of Europe — rather than issued by the government for the benefit of the people.

Canadian researcher Dr. Henry Makow who is Jewish himself says the main reason why the Zionist bankers arranged for a world war against Germany was that Hitler sidestepped the Zionist bankers by creating his own money, thereby freeing the German people. Worse, this freedom and prosperity threatened to spread to other nations. Adolf Hitler had to be stopped!

Makow quotes from the 1938 interrogation of Christian Rakovsky, one of the founders of Soviet Bolsevism and a Lev Davidovich Bronshtein (Trotsky) intimate. Christian Rakovsky was tried in show trials in the USSR under Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin. According to Christian Rakovsky, Adolf Hitler was at first funded by the international Zionist bankers, through the bankers’ agent Hjalmar Schacht. The bankers financed Adolf Hitler in order to control Joseph Stalin, who had usurped power from their agent Lev Davidovich Bronshtein (Trotsky). Then Adolf Hitler became an even bigger threat than Joseph Stalin when Hitler started printing his own money.

Joseph Stalin came to power in 1922, which was eleven years before Adolf Hitler came to power.

    Christian Rakovsky said:
“Adolf Hitler took over the privilege of manufacturing money, and not only physical moneys, but also financial ones. He took over the machinery of falsification and put it to work for the benefit of the people. Can you possibly imagine what would have come if this had infected a number of other states?” (Henry Makow, “Hitler Did Not Want War”).

Economist Henry C K Liu writes of Germany’s remarkable transformation:
“The Nazis came to power in 1933 when the German economy was in total collapse, with ruinous war-reparation obligations and zero prospects for foreign investment or credit. Through an independent monetary policy of sovereign credit and a full-employment public-works program, the Third Reich was able to turn a bankrupt Germany, stripped of overseas colonies, into the strongest economy in Europe within four years, even before armament spending began.”
(Henry C. K. Liu, “Nazism and the German Economic Miracle”).

In Billions for the Bankers, Debts for the People (1984), Sheldon Emry commented:
“Germany issued debt-free and interest-free money from 1935 on, which accounts for Germany’s startling rise from the depression to a world power in five years. The German government financed its entire operations from 1935 to 1945 without gold, and without debt. It took the entire Capitalist and Communist world to destroy the German revolution, and bring Europe back under the heel of the Bankers.”

These facts do not appear in any textbooks today, since Zionist own most publishing companies. What does appear is the disastrous runaway inflation suffered in 1923 by the Weimar Republic, which governed Germany from 1919 to 1933. Today’s textbooks use this inflation to twist truth into its opposite. They cite the radical devaluation of the German mark as an example of what goes wrong when governments print their own money, rather than borrow it from private Zionist cartels.

In reality, the Weimar financial crisis began with the impossible reparations payments imposed at the Treaty of Versailles. Hjalmar Schacht – the Rothschild agent who was currency commissioner for the Republic — opposed letting the German government print its own money… “The Treaty of Versailles is a model of ingenious measures for the economic destruction of Germany. Germany could not find any way of holding its head above the water, other than by the inflationary expedient of printing bank notes.”

Schacht echoes the textbook lie that Weimar inflation was caused when the German government printed its own money. However, in his 1967 book The Magic of Money, Schacht let the cat out of the bag by revealing that it was the PRIVATELY-OWNED Reichsbank, not the German government, that was pumping new currency into the economy. Thus, the PRIVATE BANK caused the Weimar hyper-inflation.

Like the U.S. Federal Reserve, the Reichsbank was overseen by appointed government officials, but was operated for private gain. What drove the wartime inflation into hyperinflation was speculation by foreign investors, who sold the mark short, betting on its decreasing value. In the manipulative device known as the short sale, speculators borrow something they don’t own, sell it, and then “cover” by buying it back at the lower price.

Speculation in the German mark was made possible because the PRIVATELY OWNED Reichsbank (not yet under Nazi control) made massive amounts of currency available for borrowing. This currency, like U.S. currency today, was created with accounting entries on the bank’s books. Then the funny-money was lent at compound interest. When the Reichsbank could not keep up with the voracious demand for marks, other private banks were allowed to create marks out of nothing, and to lend them at interest. The result was runaway debt and inflation.

Thus, according to Schacht himself, the German government did not cause the Weimar hyperinflation. On the contrary, the government (under the National Socialists) got hyperinflation under control. The National Socialists put the Reichsbank under strict government regulation, and took prompt corrective measures to eliminate foreign speculation. One of those measures was to eliminate easy access to funny-money loans from private banks. Then Adolf Hitler got Germany back on its feet by having the public government issue Treasury Certificates.

Schacht , the Rothschild agent, disapproved of this government fiat money, and wound up getting fired as head of the Reichsbank when he refused to issue it. Nonetheless, he acknowledged in his later memoirs that allowing the government to issue the money it needed did not produce the price inflation predicted by classical economic theory, which says that currency must be borrowed from private cartels.

What causes hyper-inflation is uncontrolled speculation. When speculation is coupled with debt (owed to private Zionist banking cartels) the result is disaster. On the other hand, when a government issues currency in carefully measured ways, it causes supply and demand to increase together, leaving prices unaffected. Hence there is no inflation, no debt, no unemployment, and no need for income taxes.

Naturally this terrifies the Zionist bankers, since it eliminates their powers. It also terrifies Zionists, since their control of banking allows them to buy the media, the government, and everything else.
