TSA At Republican, Democratic Conventions

September 5, 2012 by

TSA At Republican, Democratic Conventions
At least 55 Transportation Security Agents agents will be working the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C.

The Transportation Security Administration screened those at the Republican National Convention as well as the Democratic National Convention. Some people are asking this question: What do the conventions have to do with transportation?

At least 55 TSA agents will be working the DNC in Charlotte, N.C., screening at Time Warner Cable Arena, the Convention Center and Bank of America, the three sites of the convention. The agency has also stepped up screening at the Charlotte Douglas Airport with an additional 161 screeners.

In Tampa, Fla., last week, the personal belongings of those attending the RNC were examined with an X-ray screener.

“This illustrates how the TSA’s presence at public events which have nothing to do with transportation is becoming normalized as the federal agency’s bloated budget greases the skids for thousands upon thousands of unannounced checkpoints across the country,” wrote Paul Joseph Watson.

The TSA was also present at a Paul Ryan event in Florida.

Obama said he wanted his own private security force larger than any other here it is the
TSA is largely untrained, uneducated and wholly under the thumb of the progressives.
    Meet Obama’s brown shiorts.

    • Robert Smith

TSA is everywhere. I was at the grocery store and ready to pay with my card and the clerk says, “Strip down.”

      The manager explained.

      • Vigilant

Yeah, right. You really expect us to believe that?

      • Patriot

Vigilant, it was a joke, wow, people really need to think!

      • Vigilant

Sorry. Smith, I get it now. Your attempt at humor is pretty lame, as are most of your comments.

        Got it, funny! LOL

      • Old Henry

Yeah Rob, that happened to me. I can no longer go into that store.

      • boyscout

Same thing happened to me. Incidentally, I gave up underwear long ago. Now, none of my pals will talk to me and I guess that I’m the buzz at all the Ladies clubs. Most unfortunate indeed. Guess I’ll just have to put my bridge up for sale and move outa town.

Obama said he wanted a ‘National Police Force’ as large as our military and as well armed and financed. He is morphing the TSA into that ‘National Police Force’, and the 650 million rounds of ammo it has ordered over the last 3 months is just more proof of the TSA being that force. This is very similar to Germany’s ‘SS Force’, but the TSA wears light blue shirts rather than brown. Can you imagine what Obama will do with this force if he is re-elected and has much more flexibility? Obama has already said if he is re-elected he will by-pass Congress, for the only law that means anything to Obama is the new one he signed, allowing him to arrest citizens without proving any cause and holding them indefinately and forever, without any judicial review, by only an accusation of being a terrorist, or affiliated with terrorism, without having to prove the accusation to anyone. This November is the point-of-no-return if Obama gets re-elected, the US Constitution will be made ineffective and irrelevent, which Obama and the Democrats have already partially done, and a ‘Police State’ will be instituted using the power of the TSA, with the President, without restraints from the other two branches of government, will be the ‘Tyrant’ that controls everything and everyone.

      • http://google gary gerke

If armed confrontation ever comes about, the light blue shirts would be easy to put down, under educated, no training and ignorant about almost everything American!!!!!!1

      • SJJolly

As to the TSA becoming a Presidential Pretorian Guard (ala Ancient Rome), give me a break! In terms of ability to use violence, they are about 1 step up from the Boy Scouts. (Maybe less — many Boy Scouts carry pocket knives).

      • Michael

The morphing of the TSA into some sort of national police forces is not unlike the morphing of the Nazi party’s Brown Shirts into the SS and Gestapo.

      • Sol of Texas

        Randy –

Many people don’t realize it, but the Nazi’s had a slogan: “First red, then brown”. They initially attempted to convert German communists (Reds) to the National Socialist Workers Agenda (the SA [predecessor of the SS] wore brown shirts). They achieved a good amount of success.

I guess the new progressive agenda is evolving as “First blue, then red”.

      • Old Henry

And the useless eunuch Congress will simply let him march along. What a bunch of worthless eaters.

9/7/12, People have proven themselves complacent & stupid; let’s face it. When BO pledged to “fundamentally change” America, he meant that [expletive deleted]. Now the Nov. election will prove just how wise or insane we have become. If I see these throngs of black people queuing up for BO I’ll know they don’t even deserve what they profess to cherish.

There’s an advertisement for Airport Security Training Now, on this very page. Plus, Homeland Security Degrees. They have Degrees for Homeland Security online, I never noticed that before. Unreal.

The “tsa” will be everywhere soon. There is a point where you will have to say, forget it mac, and get in your car and drive away. They are most black, uneducated, way over paid, obama toy solders. They have to go.

    • Joe Hammond

I do not know what airport you have been in lately but I see lots of double chinned, pastey white boys checking everyone’s junk.

  • Tristan Lazzari

My mother was raised in Nazi Germany. Ever heard of the Gastapo? TSA is the new Gastapo. Wonder why your freedom is shrinking? Look up UN Agenda21. One good site to start is Happy hunting and GOD Bless America before it becomes America the state of the world.

    • Sol of Texas

      Tristan –

Most people aren’t aware of the Nazi Party’s origins, philosophy, origins, or organization. They are informed largely by anecdotes. In no way take the following to suggest I have admiration for Nazism. To the contrary, I despise all forms of totalitarianism.

The first “private army” the Nazi’s created was the SA (known as brown shirts). The SA [Sturm Abteilung (Storm Section)] were modeled after Mussolini’s Italian Fascist “blackshirts” pledged allegiance to Hitler and were run by a ruthless fellow named Ernst Roehm. The German professional army (Wehrmacht) saw the SA as a threat. Hitler made a deal to purge the leadership of the SA by assassination if the army would support him as a candidate for Chancellor. So between 30 June and 2 July 1934, the top executives of the SA were murdered (Night of the Long Knives) and absorbed by a rival organization named the SS.

The SS [Schutzstaffel (Protection Squadron)] wore black uniforms, pledged allegiance to Hitler (personally – not to Germany) and was organized into two main branches: Allgemeine-SS and Waffen-SS. By the time the European War began in 1939, the SS had absorbed the German police forces at all levels. It created a subordinate organization called the Gestapo [Geheime Staatspolizei (Secret State Police]).

The formation of Homeland Security in the USA, though relatively bloodless in its establishment (you’ll take exception if you believe the Sept 11 bombings were an inside job), does have several eerie parallels.

      • Pathfinder1

Well stated and informative to posters that do not know history.
and… “Those who do not know history are bound to repeat it!”

      • Seanoamericano

The SS was made up originally from the best and fittest Germany had to offer and had to proove lineage 3 generations back and no criminal record to be eligeable for training. Ironic how prison gangs have adapted their symbol yet none would have been allowed to serve in it. One of the five founding members was Jewish, Emil Maurice. Originally they were Adolf Hitlers body guards but later were expanded to 38 divisions, including a muslim division. Europe was first united under the banner of the SS not the eu. My understanding of this centers around the Waffen or Combat Arms and while other units under Himmler and Heydrich carried out horrendous acts The soldiers under Sepp Dietrich were some of the best and honorable ever put on a field. Piper a 32 yr old general was commanding the battle of the buldge where1 the massacre of US soldiers happened , at Nurenberg trials he stood up and accepted responsibility for it as Commander. He was sentenced to death for it. Name another general in any army that has accepted responsibility for an action men under him did. Even Patton respected them. In the movie after the war ended and he stopped and spoke to the prisoners was based on an event. Comparing the TSA and their merry little band of miscreants is sick and wrong since honor and pride and even decency is absent in the TSA . Hitler built Germany up and restored pride in its people and the nation despite the treaty of Versilles. Say what will about his agression later but are we any different now? except our fraudulent leader has been destroying our country

        • Preston Weiters Jr.

9/10/12, God help us if this prez wins again. What baffles me is the very same people clamoring for freedom & justice embrace tyranny simultaneously. I don’t like BO from day-1 & don’t want to endure “2016, Obama’s America. What we have here is truly the enemy within; the ones who sold this country out.

There are even more parallels with Germany and what is happening here in America today. Ever read the opening Statement, Nuremberg Trials; Justice Robert H. Jackson, Chief of Counsel for the United States?

What happened in Germany in the past was not a “fast” takeover – the destruction of its legitimate government was done slowly over a decade, and quite possibly 2 or more decades.

The chief instrument of keeping cohesion in plan and action was the National Socialist German Workers Party. First they were to infiltrate the legitimate government and from within bring about “change”. Some of their declared purposes sounded good to many good citizens, such as: “profit-sharing in the great industries,”
      { Very similar to: Take from the 1% and share with all}

      The Nazi plans were for the overthrow of, and then the “capture” of the legitimate central government so they could change it to what they wanted. {Happening here – how much of our Constitution, our legitimate government is now being followed? Is Obama following the blueprint for the Executive branch? Did Bush or Clinton follow it?}

A separate government was set up within the legitimate government within the Party to exercise outside the law every sanction that any legitimate state could exercise and many that it could not.

The Party had its own secret police, its security units, its intelligence and espionage division, its raiding forces, and its youth forces.
{DHS, TSA, look up “Obama youth”, etc on youtube}.
It also established administrative mechanisms over time to identify those who supported the legitimate government.
{Patriot Act, NDAA, warrantless searches, warrantless spying, TSA, etc}.
They “encouraged” the populace to inform on their own neighbors, friends, family {“See Something, Say Something”, and other videos the DHS put out here in America}.

“Uncontrolled search and seizure is one of the first and most effective weapons in the arsenal of every arbitrary government. Among deprivations of rights, none is so effective in cowing a population, crushing the spirit of the individual and putting terror in every heart.” Justice Robert Jackson, Chief U.S. Prosecutor at the Nuremberg Trials

Eventually they organized and dominated every phase of German life {as is being tried here thru the UN laws, and executive orders, bills, laws made here}.
They created a “Party” police system, which became the pattern and the instrument of the police state, which was the first goal in their plan.
      {DHS and TSA – starting to arrange themselves throughout our nation to control our every move and where we can go: at airports, bus stations, train stations, even on our own roads. Militarized police.}

A presidential decree was created suspending the extensive guarantees of individual liberty contained in the constitution of the Weimar Republic. Those decree’s were restrictions on personal liberty, on the right of free expression of opinion – including freedom of the press, on the right of peaceful assembly, the right of association,
      And violations of the privacy: postal, telegraphic, and telephonic communications;
And no need for warrants for house-searches,
Orders for, confiscations as well as restrictions on property, etc all taken away under the guise of “keeping the people safe”.
      {much like what is happening within the USA today, as all of the “restrictions” on our freedoms are “for our own safety”}

Many were arrested as “belligerents” – no real crime committed, just disagreeing with the destruction of their legitimate government.

Secret arrest and indefinite detention; without charges, without evidence, without hearing, without counsel, and no court could issue an injunction, or writ of habeas corpus, or certiorari. The German people were in the hands of the police, the police were in the hands of the Party, and the Party was in the hands of a ring of evil men who wanted to rule the world.
      {The concept then was to control the world; the concept now is to make a one-world “government”. Tell me, what is the difference?}

This takeover from within the German regime itself did not just happen; it was planned and prepared for over a long period of time and with no small skill and cunning.

Their seizure of the German State, the takeover of the legitimate government there, their subjugation of the German people, their terrorism and extermination of dissident elements, all these are ends for which they acted in concert; and all these are phases of the conspiracy, a conspiracy which reached one goal only to set out for another and more ambitious one. The intricate web of organizations, which these men formed and then utilized to accomplish these ends of destroying the legal government there and installing their own.

I’m feeling very sad about what is happening to this beautiful country. How have we as Americans allowed this to come to this.?? It’s not Obama’s color,, it’s his way of thinking and the road he is taking us on.Another chip out of our freedoms.. God Bless America!

    • AZ-Ike

It has happened because good people who have not paid attention to government have continued to re-elect the same corrupt politicians who gain more power with every term they are elected to. It has been decades since they have supported and defended the Constitution and decades since they have listened to the people they are supposed to represent.

There will never be a change back to Constitutional government until we stop electing career politicians and start electing fellow citizens who understand the meaning of character, integrity, and patriotism.

To do that, we, the people, have to step up to the plate and demand that our representatives return to Constitutional government. And to do that, we must know what the Constitution says and what it intended. We have to stop allowing government to define and elimiante our rights and take back what is ours. That means boycotting all airline travel–and other venues–until the TSA is eliminated, and letting our state and local governments know that we will not tolerate drones, and any other violations of our privacy and freedom.

We have to stop letting the minority factions define the battles, even if that means getting out and protesting for our God-given Rights. If the elected Representatives violate the Constitution in the least way, we must recall them immediately, demanding their prosecution and arrest for violating their Oath of Office. The same is true for our State and local governments in taking back States’ Rights from the federal government.

Until we are ready to fight for our freedom, bloodless if possible, we will never get it back.

In reality, for the conventions, it probably saved us money (at least it should) Instead of paying Secret Service agents to run the people through the magnetic detectors, they have TSA agents that make half as much money do it. In addition, there is so much turnover in the Secret Service that they need every trained agent doiing what they are supposed to do : Guard the President, VP, and the future President and VP as well.

    • Old Henry

Would it be a bad thing if the SS were short-handed / distracted?

Is there ANY doubt what the next 4 years will bring to the “land of the Free” if “WE the People” vote again for the far left radical: Obama. I believe that this November will be the last chance to stop this insanity!!! WE MUST get rid of this cancer NOW!!!!! Vote for Romney/Ryan, our last real chance to stop insanity!!!!!!!!!!

    • Sirian

It won’t stop the insanity Ed, it will merely slow it down a bit. No, can’t expect major positive results overnight – not possible. But the idiocy that resides both inside and outside the hallowed halls of Congress and the Oval Office will take much, much longer.

      • Pathfinder1

Slowing it down sure beats acceleration !

    • usirius

Obama and Romney stand for the same things. There is actually very little difference. If you do not want to do the research yourself there is (on you tube) “Romney Obama the Same” which compares news clips, speeches, etc. Also an article named “40 Points” or something like that that shows the (major) points they stand together on. Also one that has 25 points, etc.. research it.

  • Debby

Please remember that the Patriot Act was put in place by GW Bush, and that our freedoms started to really shrink during his tenure. This is not about one party or the other, it is about the New World Order.

Don’t forget to look for the Obama ads that appear on all your favorite liberty/conservative blogs. Clicking on them not only takes money out of Obama’s campaign funding, but it also puts it into the pockets of his antagonists. If we all click enough times, we have a far better transfer of wealth than the one Obama envisions.

  • Joe Hammond

Folks, we are an Empire with 300+ military bases overseas, 1 war ongoing and 1 war for Mittens coming soon in Iran, a prison on Cuban soil, solidiers set to die at the DMZ in Korea, very unpopular marines in Okinawa, bases still in Germany and Japan, bases in Columbia now, etc., etc.,….Empires require much from their middle and lower classes such as recruits to fill the military forces, no dissension, no questioning the wisdom of the 1%, and hard work for little pay all in the name of patriotism….We are being prepared for the corporate fascist state and both parties are deeply committed to its coming…..

    • SJJolly

Joe Hammon: “… both parties are deeply committed to its coming…..” I’d say it’s far more a matter of both parties being played by the “big boys” that own and / or control much of America. The parties blather about “Freedom and opportunity”, or “Hope and change”, but the “big boys” keep pushing through measures that tighten their control behind the scenes.

      • Murph

I can’t agree. The “sell out” politicians know exactly what they are doing … selling out to maintain power. There are a few who won’t, you know them. The’re the ones the “ruling class” attacks with the help of those that buy out the “sell outs”. The problem I see is the utter control of propaganda that is so evident, yet so ignored. Ask yourself; if you think the “Mainstream” media is liberal biased, (and I do), then how can you say that FOX is not conservative biased? It makes no sense. Nor does the reverse. This two party system is designed and configured to create division and angst to keep the masses under control, very simple political/religious/philisophical practices well studied and documented throughout history. Now watch the attacks start on this post, the sheep hate being challenged, they fear for their exclusion from the “club”, afraid they will have to actually stand alone against a majority in order to protect individual freedom. This is a scary place to be. Imagine, you are a wolf in a pack of 20, and you coexist with a herd of sheep numbering 19. A discussion ensues regarding the dinner menu; the wolves call for a vote. How do you vote? With the pack and eat the sheep? Or with the individual liberty of the minority. Screw the majority, democracy is not what was intended, it was meant to ba a constitutional republic. Look it up.

        Revolution, peaceful if possible …..

  • SJJolly

Build a tool and people will find uses for it. Often uses you never expected, with some not to your liking. Such is the case with the TSA being used at the national political conventions, where the convention bosses want the appearance of security, but don’t want the cost and inconvenience of real, prison-type security screenings.

  • JJS

Y’all are either paranoid or stupid. Or both!

Here is the relevant portion of what Obama actually said about a civilian national security force that has everyone of the right wingnuts going crazy:

Obama, July 2, Colorado Springs, CO: [As] president I will expand AmeriCorps to 250,000 slots [from 75,000] and make that increased service a vehicle to meet national goals, like providing health care and education, saving our planet and restoring our standing in the world, so that citizens see their effort connected to a common purpose.

People of all ages, stations and skills will be asked to serve. Because when it comes to the challenges we face, the American people are not the problem – they are the answer. So we are going to send more college graduates to teach and mentor our young people. We’ll call on Americans to join an energy corps, to conduct renewable energy and environmental clean-up projects in their neighborhoods all across the country.

We will enlist our veterans to find jobs and support for other vets, and to be there for our military families. And we’re going to grow our Foreign Service, open consulates that have been shuttered and double the size of the Peace Corps by 2011 to renew our diplomacy. We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set.

We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded. We need to use technology to connect people to service. We’ll expand USA Freedom Corps to create online networks where American can browse opportunities to volunteer. You’ll be able to search by category, time commitment and skill sets. You’ll be able to rate service opportunities, build service networks, and create your own service pages to track your hours and activities.

This will empower more Americans to craft their own service agenda and make their own change from the bottom up.

Does that sound like a force that could kick down your door in the middle of the night and haul you off to a Gulag or concentration camp? You decide.
