Told By A Foreign Power

January 27, 2011 by

China holds much of the United States’ debt, and the U.S. trade deficit with China stands at about $240 billion. So it’s not surprising that fiscal issues would be one of the main topics of discussion between Chinese President Hu Jintao and President Barack Obama during their meetings Jan. 19.

After listening to Obama drone about how Hu had indicated a desire to move toward a market-based exchange rate system, the Chinese president avoided the topic. He did emphasize the Group of 20′s role in tackling financial matters. According to an analysis by Reuters’ Alister Bull, Hu’s remarks were “a subtle rebuke to Washington for presuming to lecture China about the global economy.”

So, the gist of their discussion is this: Hu told Obama to back off. Don’t talk about the trade deficit, don’t talk about devaluing the yuan and don’t talk about human rights.

In a letter to Alexander Hamilton, George Washington wrote: "But if we are to be told by a foreign power … what we shall do, and what we shall not do, we have independence yet to seek, and have contended hitherto for very little."

It seems we’ve traveled too far down this road to turn back.

When are the Democrats, Republicans and American People going to wake up to what is unfolding before their very eyes under this Administration.

I was greatly encouraged by the November 2nd results and the follow on actions of the House in the repeal effort of the health care law. Then I see that Obamas approval ratings are up! If the Independents and fiscally responsible Democrats can be so easily fooled by this artificial “move to the center” by Obama, we are still in grave danger of losing our Republic! This man has abosolutely nothing in common with Clinton, much less Reagan!

First, Obummer’s ‘move to the center’ is cut from the same diseased cloth as the idea that Hitler was just a misunderstood humanitarian. Bubba Clinton tried the same ‘move to the center’ crap, and he’s still a wannabe elitist who views his home (Arkansas) like used toilet paper.
As far as the China disaster is concerned, America wouldn’t be in this mess if we didn’t let scumbags from various elitist groups have easy access to Congress and the White House. This ticking time bomb is no accident, people.
It was engineered by those who drool at the thought of an enslaved America. For those who prefer denial to reality, kindly remember that in the words of America’s premiere, ultraprogressive, NWO yahoo [FDR], “when it comes to politics, NOTHING happens by accident.”
He wasn’t kidding. And, he also knew that those who supported him had sold themselves to a suicidal philosophy that demands that America be in chains.

Some thoughts of mine about the US economy.

Our nation became, and remained, an economic powerhouse so long as American consumers were buying what American workers produced.

It is my belief that the decline in our economy began several decades ago when American consumers began to prefer to buy products produced by cheap(er) foreign labor.

For that matter, I seem to recall a campaign some years ago by, I believe, by American labor, with the motto “Buy American. The Job You Save May Be Your Own”. Doesn’t seem so wild a comment now.

I believe that the effort to (re-)establish manufacturing in the US will be for naught if American consumers do not return to buying what their “neighbors”, or fellow countrymen, produce.

On another tack, in the past, when a country sold its raw materials and labor cheaply to another country, and purchased imported finished goods expensively from that country, it was a colony of that country.

Obama still plays the political game—which way is the crowd going, I’m their leader…
Time for all Americans to stand up for Liberty…only in your own Congressional districts will you know who will stand up..2012 may be our last chance for such an election.
There are many letters floating around telling us what we already know is the problem —we need solutions….
