Ron Paul has a lot going for him. If he turns out to be the nominee. I’ll vote for him; but if he chooses the third party route, I think that we may as well hand the election over to Obama. I, too, think that our fine military personnel are being shot at and blown up unnecessarily in Iraq and Afghanistan because there’s no strategy for VICTORY. To leave now would give the Taliban and al Quaeda a tremendous propaganda victory; what we had before 9/11 will be there again in short order. Suddenly, it’s popular to remove some of the troops stationed in Europe; Paul has been saying that for years. He’s correct in saying that we got snookered in Iraq because they’re making money hand over fist from the sale of their oil but we haven’t seen (and won’t see) a dime of it. I also think that the South Koreans (at least) should be paying something to support the basing of our forces there. HOWEVER, I’m a staunch supporter of Israel. In the same vein, I’m a supporter of Taiwan and am fearful of the Chinese and their expansion of their military. I’m also bothered by the fact that the Chinese hold so much of our paper!

      @Bob Maaguire
I don’t understand where you get your information from about Iran and Israel. If Iran is a threat to us, we should be at war with them RIGHT NOW and not when they try to get a nuclear weapon. If we went to war with every country that was a “threat” to us, we would be destroyed. China is a threat to us, North Korea is a threat to us, Saudi Arabia is a threat to us. I am a staunch supporter of Israel as well, and that is exactly why I agree with Ron Paul’s policy towards Israel. It’s time we start treating them like our friends, instead of acting like we are their gracious benefactors, giving them money, but telling them what to do.

      • Michael Keith

Oh and aside from that. If you think we need to go to war with another nation, first…read the Constitution, then call your Congressman NOT the President.

        • DaveH

          Good comments, Michael.

Revelation @;9 and 3:9 tell us who Israel is but you need to change the Name “Jew” to “judah”. God’s people worship in a temple not a Synagog! Today God’s people are the Temple where HE DWELLS! BUT WHO WANTS THE TRUTH NOWADAYS!

Let´s do the mathematics, Korea, Viet Nam, Panama, Libya, Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan and now Iran. When are Americans going to get sick of being the brute force of the Brittish Empire? Since when are we responsible to be the aggressor? If our foreign and national policies were correct, would we have the largest prison population in the world? Would we have to fear other countries that might develop nuclear weapons. I hate to say this but before I do lets look at the dictator that made Hitler look like a boy scout; Joseph Stalin murdered nearly 40,000,000 Christians, Catholics and Jews which most were feared political opponents. However who was our Allie during World War II? How much of Europe was under communism prior to WWII?
How much of Europe was under communism after WWII? Before believing the marxist controlled media I believe I would at least check out the historical facts that lies outside of the history books in our public schools. I would be more concerned over the demoralization process that has taken place in this country to understand why this country is so hated around the world. It is because of the ignorance of the people and those who think that they can make a impressive statement and sound correct. But I prefer to read the Bible because it outlines the reasons that great kingdoms were conquered and destroyed and it boils down to demoralization. P.S. That president in Iran is not an idiot like other rulers in other countries have been. We didn´t put him in control of Iran like we did the Shaw in Iran and Sodamn Insane in Iraq. This country is so industrious as a military power that one day we will invade the wrong country and that country and its allies will push the buttons and nuke the —- out of us and there will be nobody and nothing left because so many of US do not research the facts before making an opinion.

The media does their best to pursuade us to vote for the status quo, cookie cutter, dishonest politician. One one of the ways they do this is to tell us that we will throw our vote away if we vote for Ron Paul.
I am so disillusioned with both Republicans and Democrats that I am sticking to my guns and voting for the only common sense choice, Dr. Ron Paul. He is the only person who will truly represent this country against the likes of the Bildergerg group who are trying to push us into the New World Order. He will stick to the constitution and take us away from this bloated, self-serving, out of control government.
I don’t understand why everyone can’t see the blatant conspiracy against Ron Paul by the media. That alone should be enough to make people see him as the only good choice for our country.

    • DaveH

Bob, that is great. You should support Israel, Taiwan, Afghanistan, or whatever country you want, but do it with your own money and life, not other peoples’.

Speaking of paper, I also believe that the Fed is working AGAINST us with regard to the Dollar; there’s no Congressional oversight. I think that Iran is VERY dangerous to the vital national interests; Ron Paul doesn’t! That alone is almost enough to turn me off to him.

The only person who has the right ideals to bring back this nation to a Republic is Dr Paul. We are Not a democatic nation , but we have been dumbed down by the two polilitical parties filled with progressives like Obama & Romney. Dr Paul has never said he would leave Israle to defend it self, heck they have more nukes & a military that could wipe our Iran very easy, but if they did that they would have the rest of the Arabs nations to fight.
The Fed is a private for profit cartel of banking families, most from Europe & 3 or 4 in the USA, the Rothschilds of Europe & Rockerfellers in the USA are two names of the owers of the Fed.
Dr Paul would not let a bunch of back room dictators from the banking cartel run this nation any more, he is our Jefferson & he does support our Military & will not let them be killed needlessly for profits for the banking cartel. Clinton,Bush 1 & 2 & Obama have trashed the Constitution, NDAA ended the Bill of Rights, next up SOPA, the internet kill switch. In 1934 congress created the ESF, how many know what is does? The ESF is were all the propaganda is sold to Americans thru the MSM who has lost any real meaning in telling the truth unless it slaps them in the face. The ESF has opperated out of the Fed & is were all of our Covert Black Opps come from, the war drugs is a cash cow that keeps on giving to fund more black opps & topping governments we don’t like or want to steal their resourses. Dr Paul would be back the use of the Constitution & Bill of Rights, he would not let the poor & disabled be treateed as they are today, if you think that group is treated good you are wrong, I give my time freely to help this group of people & what the gov does is far from good! People on social security does not get the cost of living wages they should get because under Clinton, the CPI was changed to leave out food & fuel so the increase they get by no means keeps up with inflation. If you want to live where speacial interest groups are the only ones who are allowed to spends billions to lobby congress to put in all that waste we call pork in bills, keep voting for the same ones who have bankrupt this nation. The EU is about to fall apart & the dollar is worthless & soon we will see the greatest transfer of wealth in the history of the world as the dollar loses its reserve currency status & collasps with all the other debt heavy nations! I could give a 1000 trillion reasons to kick out most in congress & Obama & his progressives zcars!

Be careful Americans, since the Clinton administration it is a Federal Felony to hoard 6 months of food. Since George Idiot Jr and Obama you will be arrested as a terrorist for it. Just remember McCain a few weeks ago was supportive of arresting suspected terrorists and detaining them without due process and the want to suspend habeas corpus. Now isn´t it like a bunch of Brittish supporting politicians that want to send US the sign that our Constitution is worthless? Lets start recording the news coverage and start putting those in office who don´t mind trying traitors for treason. All it takes is the testimony of two witnesses or a confession to convict someone for treason. Well we watch it on the news everyday and we are millions. Heck if we had our Constituion back we could file Quo Warranto proceedings and easily remove those that usurp their office and then the real criminals would face some serious jail time. I think that it is every Americans duty to go to Ted Kennedy´s grave and relieve themselves and also to other Congress and senate members and relieve themselves on those knighted by the Queen of England for their service to the crown. Oh lets not forget the economic hitmen of the CIA. If our candidate wins lets all run to Washington and wait on the economic hitman to come and threaten our President. Dip him or them in honey and tie them to a tree over a army ant nest or else we are doomed. If they can threaten any leader in any country why can´t we do the say thing when they show up. Well these low lifes will threaten the safety of ones family, so be it it is time to play fair.

To those who think they are “right” to accuse Paul of being an ‘isolationist,’ think again (if you thought at all). It would be nice if you knew how to define the word.
I suspect most wordsmiths who accuse others of being isolationists are of the same mindset that accuses people of being racists or are somehow a conservative or a neocon or a ‘Republican’ at the same time.
In fact, someone who believes in the Constitution is by definition NOT an isolationist. The term was created by people who used pc tactics as far back as WWI. FDR found it a useful tool to sucker America into a war with Japan that could have been prevented.
When someone is accused of being an ‘isolationist,’ it is a good idea to presume that that accuser has an agenda, and most likely that agenda is pc-driven. Remember that America’s whore media makes no effort to do its job in sifting and sorting ‘isolationists’ from people they do not like because their ‘politics’ aren’t “right.”
If two people do not define words the same way, they do not speak the same language. Most people who accuse others of being isolationists are hardcore, pc SEMANTICISTS – whether they know it or not.
We owe it to each other to try to be honest. Some know English, and others never learned. Some try to be honest, and others prefer to be tools of subhumans who lust for office. Try being honest. You have the rest of your life to be an overpaid shill for those who hate America. Ten thousand for a nickel seems to be the current purchase price of that kind of “integrity.”

“My hope is that Ron Paul wins the Republican nomination and the Presidency, but I don’t think he has a realistic chance.”

“Polls continue to show that 45 percent of voters will vote for anyone other than Obama. (Count me among them).”

    • Vigilant

Those quotes are from John Myers and Chip Wood.

  • Roy

GO RON PAUL ALL THE WAY.
GOD bless the USA and Ron Paul

Good Job, Tom Woods, as always.

“Polls continue to show that 45 percent of voters will vote for anyone other than Obama.”

45% + 20% who really want Ron Paul. looks like a landslide win for Dr Ron Paul.

To Bob Maguire: you should really stop and read what you wrote. You say that Paul ahs everything going for him, in your eyes, is doing everything correctly, and is head over heels above the other candidate, all of which I agree with you, but then you will not vote for him because Paul does not have some immediate plan to invade Iran, and you say because Iran poses a threat to our vital interests? Well I am curious to know that this threat is, that is so eminent? Paul never said he would not protect America, if need be, on the contrary Bob, Paul has proven that he will protect Americans, by his voting record, as he always votes in favor the American Citizen, not foreign interests, like is happening now, and a war with Iran is really a freebie for Israel so they would not need to attack themselves, since Israel feels that Iran is a threat much more than we do. N. Korea has nuclear weapons, Russia, Pakistan, and I would imagine China does too. So what do we do? Start a nuclear war because any one of these other countries might be a threat to us one day? Somehow, we live with them and do not have plans to destroy them. Maybe we could live with Iran too. It is just a thought

No sense in posting on this site it has been taken over by Paul bots.

Yep, manipulative name-calling, the hallmark of those who have no real facts to input.
