The Sinister Truth About Obama And Islam

“Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation…” -Barack Obama

Who is President Barack Obama and what does he want? That he is an enigma is indisputable.

The ultra-Left continues to see him as a transformative figure that will remake America. His critics agree that Obama wants to change America, but not for the better. I decided to find out by reading half a dozen books and taking notes over the past few months.

The three books that are most compelling in their explanations of Obama are:

• Richard Minter, Leading From Behind: The Reluctant President and the Advisors Who Decide For Him.

• Edward Klein, The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House.

• Bob Woodward, Obama Wars.

Minter’s credits include writing for The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and even the left-leaning Newsweek. Klein was a former editor for Newsweek. And the venerable Woodward was a key player that revealed Watergate when he was famously reporting for The Washington Post and has been considered to be the political assassin of President Richard Nixon.

These books contend Obama is a loner with few or no friends, has a messiah complex and an unequalled ego. They state that beyond his troika – wife and First Lady Michelle Obama, Senior Advisor to the President Valarie Jarrett and Attorney General Eric H. Holder – Obama listens to nobody. More damning is both Minter and Klein contend that the President and his gang of three are sympatico; that their African-American heritage has made them and all blacks victims of the white establishment and that they must change the United States with the redistribution of wealth, the Constitution be damned.

In Leading From Behind, Minter writes:

(In college Obama had) a passion for civil rights, social justice, and radical politics… (He) was developing a radical resume. He audited a class at Columbia University taught by famed writer and Palestinian activist Edward Said, spoke at protests at Harvard Law School, attended a church where the radical Israel sermons of Rev. Jeremiah Wright echoed off the walls.

Is Obama a Muslim in Christian Clothing?
No one can forget the Reverend Wright and his “Goddamn the United States!” outburst from the pulpit. But according to Klein, it wasn’t Wright who corrupted young Obama. It was Obama who used Wright by cultivating a relationship for his own political gain, namely to cover his Islamic beliefs.

I can already see a wave of hate comments from of our liberal readers so I am going to fully cite my reference from his book where Klein interviewed almost 200 people that have personally known the President, including Rev. Wright.*

Below and verbatim is from page 40 of The Amateur. It is Klein’s interview with Wright, the man Obama once said was, “like my father”:

“After Barack and I got to know each other, it got to the point where we would just drop by my church to talk,” Wright said. “And the talk gradually moved away from his community-organizing concerns — street cleaning, housing, child care, and those kinds of needs — to larger things, more personal things. Like trying to make sense of the world. Like trying to make sense out of the diverse racial and religious background from which he came. He was confused. He wanted to know who he was.

“And I told him, ‘Well, you already know the Muslim piece of your background.’” Wright continued. “You studied Islam, didn’t you? And Barack said, ‘Yeah, Rev, I studied Islam. But it helped me understand Christianity, because I already know Islam.’ And I said, ‘Well, let’s start from the beginning. Who do you say Jesus is? Let’s boil it down to the basics.”

“Did you convert Obama from Islam to Christianity?” I asked Wright. “That’s hard to tell,” Wright replied. “I think I convinced him that it is okay for him to make a choice in terms of who he believed Jesus is. And I told him it was really okay and not a putdown of the Muslim part of his family or his Muslim friends.”

This interview was not conducted by a conservative. These are not the words from a book by Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin or the soon-to-be-a-retired-Congresswoman Michele Bachmann. Klein is a seasoned newsman who freely admits that, like most of his colleagues in the media, he was first blinded by the celebrity aura that is the substance of Barack Obama. Nevertheless, linking the President to Islam is a serious charge. Yet others see some truth in it.

It was reported last week that Virginia Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor E.W. Jackson wrote in a 2010 blog that Obama has “Muslim sensibilities” and a “Muslim perspective” to view the world. He added that Obama has taken an anti-Semitic approach to the White House that he “picked up from the black community.”

What exactly are the President’s thoughts on Islam? In his own words:

• “We will encourage more Americans to study in Muslim communities.”

• “These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings.” (This must be a different Islam than the one that blows people up in Boston and cuts off soldier’s heads in London.)

• “As a young man, I worked in Chicago communities where many found dignity and peace in their Muslim faith.” (Again, a different Islam, because in the past 20 years I have seen little evidence that the Muslim faith cares about non-believers dignity or wants peace.)

Trust me Mr. President, few care about what you did for Islam when you were a young man. What we do care a great deal about — especially given we have been fighting a decades long war against Islamic extremists — is what your plans are now. What now appears certain is that you do not want to hurt Muslim sensitivities regardless of what terror they unleash on Christian Americans.

Obama refuses to use the words “extremist Muslims” or “Muslim Jihadists.” In 2009, Obama said it was “workplace violence” (I thought that was when you kicked over the water-cooler at the office) when Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter and follower of al-Qaida, shot and killed 13 military personnel while screaming “allahu akbar” (god is great).

It is ridiculous, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer told Fox News in April, that the President refuses to use the words “jihadist” and “Islamist” to describe the threat.

Krauthammer added: “I say I don’t know what he’s thinking, but I sure know what he’s saying and doing. The lengths to which he will go to avoid telling us the truth about the enemy is becoming comical and certainly embarrassing… (Obama) refuses to use any words that might imply a connection between radical Islam and terrorism, which anybody who is over the age of 9 knows is the single greatest cause of terror in the world today.”

Every Hitler Needs A Himmler
Maybe you want the President to be politically correct. That is your business. What you should not want, and what you should fear, is that Obama has a pro-Muslim agenda before his term ends and is instructing Attorney General Eric Holder and his lieutenants to illegally enforce it… praise be to Allah!

United States attorney in Tennessee Bill Killian has promised to use Federal civil rights statutes to stop offensive and inflammatory speech about Islam.

Last week the Tullahoma News quoted Killian: “We need to educate people about Muslims and their civil rights, and as long as we’re here, they’re going to be protected,” Killian told the newspaper.

Killian, along with the FBI special agent that runs the Knoxville office, is meeting with the local Muslim community to inform them about their rights under Obama law.

Excuse me, but what the hell? What about our rights as Americans? What about the First Amendment? This gets to the core of why Obama can hopefully be impeached and why Holder should be fired immediately. If not, writers for Personal Liberty Digest™ and readers like you who write comments will have to watch what we say about the poor Muslims in our country; members of a religion that the President seems hell-bent on protecting.

Yours in good times and bad,

-John Myers

Obama’s supporters continue to deny that he is a Muslim, in spite of the fact that he has admitted it on two or three occasions. A few years ago, that moron on Fox, Megan Kelly, said that she knew Obama was not a Muslim because he said he wasn’t. That’s almost as bad as O’Reilly saying that Obama has proven he is eligible to be president and was born in this country because he celebrated his birthday. No matter what Obama says or does, his worshipers will defend him.

The quickest way to defeat and destruction is to do nothing to combat tyranny. The end is at hand. If anyone here thinks that Obama does not have an ace holding think again. He is arrogant because he knows that the Muslims in the training camps on US. soil are ready for combat. This is why he wants to disarm the people and limit the ammunition.

Oh blind people wake up for the end is near and for now Obama is very confident that he holds all the cards.

Have you listened to Republicans lately? You could write a history book called “The Way It Didn’t Happen” just from the daily rantings of Bachmann, Gohmert, Broun, et. al. But that’s probably your primary source material. At your school, they probably use Genesis as the text in science class, too.

Ted, the second quote is very controversial, in so far as its authenticity.

“Responding to the public hubbub, editors of The Papers of James Madison, John Stagg and David Mattern, referred all inquirers to a letter dated November 23, 1993, in which Mr. Mattern wrote concerning the alleged quotation: “We did not find anything in our files remotely like the sentiment expressed in the extract you sent us. In addition, the idea is inconsistent with everything we know about Madison’s views on religion and government, views which he expressed time and time again in public and in private.” (http://candst.tripod.com/misq1.htm)

“But according to Klein, it wasn’t Wright who corrupted young Obama. It was Obama who used Wright by cultivating a relationship for his own political gain, namely to cover his Islamic beliefs.”

Wright says Mr. Obama possessed an “Islamic background” and despite his conversion to Christianity has never abandoned his Muslim roots.

Edward Klein in his recent biography of Mr. Obama, “The Amateur,” interviewed Mr. Wright about the president’s past. On tape and on the record, Mr. Wright claims that in 2008, the Obama campaign offered $150,000 to buy his silence. If this is true – and I stress if – Mr. Obama may have committed a crime, and if so, he should be prosecuted and sent to prison. Wrightgate could bring down the Obama presidency.

Mr. Wright alleges that Dr. Eric Whitaker, a close Obama friend, sent an email proposing $150,000 to muzzle the pastor; Mr. Wright says he refused. (The Obama administration recently awarded a $6 million grant to the University of Chicago Medical Center’s Urban Health Initiative. Who runs the initiative? You guessed it: Dr. Whitaker.) Then, Mr. Wright claims, Mr. Obama personally visited him, urging the pastor to remain silent and do nothing that would cripple the Obama candidacy.

A Christian nation is not a theocracy. Just some less intelligent remark made by a person with a little mind. Remember:
            1. We were founded on Christian principles.
            2. Biblica Law taken directly from the Old and New Testiments.
            3. Our laws based on the 10 Commandments.
            4. A deep rich belief is nature and nature’s God.
#4 is found in the first paragraph of the Declaration of Independence.
#3> It wasn’t too long ago that you could see the 10 Commandments in government buildings, court buildings (not necessarily the court room), and in schools. You can still find them in various places in the SCOTUS building.
#2 and #1, just look up letters, journals, speeches, and our founding documents, along with studying a lot more, to understand this.
If you don’t know these things, you don’t know much about our founding. Ooops! It seems you don’t. Here is an article by the Independent Party.

          • Jeff

Since your posts never say anything beyond a fart or a belch in the face of a logical or historic argument, I must assume you are simply an acolyte of the Faque Samurai. Keep your “religion” to yourself and don’t force it on the rest of us. Christianity has been the last refuge of scoundrels of all stripes for centuries and you right wingers are no different. You proclaim yourselves “Christians” while ignoring everything Jesus ever stood for. He never said a word about homosexuality but he said plenty about welcoming the stranger, feeding and clothing the poor, etc. So, you Southern and rural fools vote for Republicans who talk about Jesus but really work for the wealthy (tax cuts, deregulating the Banks, etc.).

Keep demonizing the poor, the minorities, the immigrants, and especially all Muslims. And don’t forget, do it all in the name of Jesus while voting as the Koch Brothers tell you!

          • WTS/JAY

Jeff: He, (Jesus) never said a word about homosexuality…

Are you implying that the God of the Old Testament is a different God from that of the New Testament? If so, then you blather about something you know nothing about. They are one and the same, and homosexuality is condemned in both, testaments! Perhaps a simple reading of what Jesus said about marriage in general is in order, and no doubt, will expose you for the careless reader you are.

When certain Pharisees questioned Jesus regarding divorce, notice what the Apostle Matthew says in 19:4-6, “4; And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5; And said, For this cause (that they are male and female) shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6; Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together (a man and a wife), let not man put asunder.”

Continuing on the issue of divorce, Jesus said; “from the beginning it was not so.” Jesus, on many occasions, quoted the book of Genesis when preaching to His audience. And understandably so, since he was both, a Jew and a Rabbi, and therefore, was well-schooled in the Torah.

He spoke of the creation of the world (Mark 13:19), of man (Matthew 19:4), and of the marriage of Adam and Eve (Matthew 19:5-6).

            He spoke of Abel’s martyrdom (Matthew 23:35), Noah’s flood (Matthew 24:37-39; Luke 17:26-30), Abraham’s faith (John 8:40, 56), Isaac (Luke 13:28), Jacob’s dream (John 1:47-51), and Lot’s wife (Luke 17:32).

But He also spoke of the destruction of the Sodomites’ cities of Sodom and Gomorrah (Luke 17:28-32; Matthew 10:15; 11:24; Mark 6:11).

I’m sure a Biblical-scholar such as yourself, Jeff, is well aquatinted with the story of Sodom and Gomorra?

So was Jesus, btw. For He spoke of it as reminder and a warning to those that were listening not to follow in the footsteps of the sodomites. So, for you to isolate Jesus to the New-Testament and infer that Jesus is not also the God of the Old-Testament; is ridiculous, and reveals your utter ignorance. Jesus is the Creator of all, and the very One who instituted marriage!

Marriage, is the picture of Christ and His Bride (the Church) 31; For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32; This is a great mystery (or revelation of God): but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33; nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.” Ephesians 5:31-33

I may be stretching a tad here, Jeff. But it appears that by your gay life-style, you would like to make Christ a spiritual homosexual?

Still fancy yourself a theologian, sonny boy?

As to the rest of your insane post? Well, i think you’ve been embarrassed enough. Wouldn’t you agree?

          • Jeff

I don’t claim to be the Biblical Scholar you or Faque Samurai are, but I do know that your dependence on isolated passages in The Bible does not mean you understand the actual lessons it teaches. If your Biblical scholarship teaches you nothing more than to revile homosexuality, then you’ve absorbed very little. Jesus was a follower of Rabbi Hillel who stated that the whole of the Torah could be summed up in The Golden Rule. The rest is commentary.

And the Sodom and Gemorrah story? What most upset God about the behavior of the Sodomites concerned not their sexual behavior but their ill treatment of strangers. I believe Jesus said something about how you treat the least among you. That includes the poor, immigrants, and it could certainly be interpreted to include gays.

When it comes to greed, we’re all subject to it and succumbing can be seen as a moral failure. But being gay? If you are straight, it demonstrates no particular moral rectitude to avoid gay sex. Now, if we’re created in His image, why are there gay people? You think they chose an orientation that makes them the object of derision by large numbers of people? Who would choose such a thing?

The majority of us have accepted that there are gay people out there and they deserve to be treated as is everyone else. Just because you were raised to hate them doesn’t make it right. Fortunately, young people see you as the dinosaur you are.

Obama’s father and stepfather were Muslim; Mr. Obama attended a madrassa in Indonesia; as a boy, he studied the Koran; he has openly admitted that the “most beautiful sound” is the Muslim call for evening prayer (not, say, the “Star-Spangled Banner”); he frequently refers to Islam as a “revealed religion” while denigrating Christianity; and he claims that America is a “post-Christian” nation.

Obama’s powerful sympathies for the Islamic world explain much of his foreign policy – apologizing for American behavior in the Middle East, appeasing Iran, engaging in long-term nation-building in Afghanistan, abandoning Iraq, supporting the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, empowering radical Islamists in Libya, backing the disastrous Arab Spring and the relentless undermining of Israel. In short, Mr. Obama is the true protege of Mr. Wright: an anti-colonial, anti-Western radical leftist who seeks to use U.S. power in the service of the Arab street. In many ways, he is the first Muslim president.

          • Jana

            Another great reply!!!!

          • Jeff

Would you prefer someone who is pro-colonial? When, exactly, did it become a slur to call someone anti-colonial? I thought we invented the idea of anti-colonialism.

And would you prefer that we go back to our old habit of frustrating nascent democracies by backing dictators as we have done so often since WWII? Iran, virtually all of Latin America, Southeast Asia, etc. And if Obama had backed Mubarek and violence erupted, you’d be blaming Obama for backing a dictator.

          • JeffH

Unhinged Jeff, your incoherent rambling is so far off of what was posted in my comment.

This is what was posted by me. “Mr. Obama is the true protege of Mr. Wright: an anti-colonial, anti-Western radical leftist who seeks to use U.S. power in the service of the Arab street. ”

Jeff replied, “Would you prefer someone who is pro-colonial”? …”When, exactly, did it become a slur to call someone anti-colonial”?

            Slur? Think again!

Would you care for some cheese to compliment your whine?

          • Jeff

Excuse me. Was not “anti-colonial” part of your bill of particulars against Obama?

          • JeffH

Absolutley and rightly so though I realize it’s way to deep for your little mind to delve into let alone comprehend.

Obama places the U.S. in such a category.

          • Jeff

Perhaps with your arsenal, you can find some really small island to “colonize.” Then, you could deny the people health care – turn it into a place Dickens might recognize. I’ll bet your Chamber of Commerce will have trouble attracting visitors – even right wing nabobs like yourself don’t willingly go to such places.

          • JeffH

LMAO again at your nonsensical comment.
            Arsenal?…ROFLMAO at such ignorance.

          • Meteorlady

Denying health care is obamacare. There are many provisions in it that will do just that. In my county, 52,000, there are already 5 doctors that have retired or are going back to school to get another degree. There is one very good hospital that is going out of business, and no one wants to buy, and 3 doctors that aren’t taking any new medicare/medicaid patients because the can’t afford it.

My parents have had their Medicare premiums raised, their co-pays and their insurance premiums have gone up 17% and they are not allowed certain cancer medications or certain treatments per medicare. A country that treats its elders with such distain is a country without a heart and soul.

No one is guaranteed health care. It’s a option that you work for and pay for if you are a responsible person who is proud enough to support themselves and their families. Real citizens don’t cry to the government to take care of them at the expense of those that work. When I was growing up my parents believe welfare was degrading and would have been ashamed to take it.

My dad worked two jobs to pay for a hospital bill when I got sick. That’s how real Americans act and live.

          • JeffH

The passions, convictions, and drives that come out of the raging form of anti-colonialism have a powerful impact in the formation of human character. President Obama’s mother and maternal grandfather greatly impacted the life of the young Obama. It now seems clear that the passionate hatred they both had for the West influenced the boy far more than than either his Kenyan father or his
            Indonesian step-father.

            JeffH,

Add to the fact that Frank Marshall Davis, a Communist Party U.S.A. recruiter, and pro-Soviet Union supporter on the F.B.I.’s watch list, was Barack Obama’s childhood mentor. That’s a fact.
Many say, Davis is also Obama’s real Father. It is a fact that Davis took nude photos of Obama’s white mother(they’re available on the Internet), Stanly Ann Dunham, wrote poetry about her, and reportedly had an affair with her.

          • JeffH

So, the choice is someone with a passion for helping the dispossessed of the world, including 98 -99% of Americans, or a member of the corporate elite who never forgets he is a member of the corporate elite (e.g. Romney). If Obama has such a leftist background, you certainly couldn’t prove it by his governance which is only slightly to the left of the most right wing Congress we’ve ever seen. Frankly, I’d say if Obama harbors anti-colonial sentiments, he is far more in keeping with our founders than have any of our recent Presidents, going all the way back to the early 20th Century. Nixon certainly held no “anti-colonial” sentiments and with JFK, if they were there, they were well hidden. The Bushes? Certainly not. They were as anti-colonial as Churchill in his dealings with Gandhi.

I think you’ve identified the real difference between a true American leader like Obama from the corporate crowd you seem to prefer. Of course, I’m looking at the straw man Obama you like to portray. The real Obama is almost as much in the pocket of big business as are the Republicans. Calling him a socialist is nothing but a joke.

          • JeffH

All I can do is laugh.
I keep telling you Obama’s a hybrid progressive communist and I agree that calling him a socialist is a joke…he’s far more dangerous to every American than that.

The personal attack. Classic 5th column strategy. Obama bin Laden backed the so called Arab Spring, but what did it bring? Some countries, Qatar, Bahrain(sp), Jordan, etc., it failed and only brought senseless deaths to innocent people. It did succeed in other countries like, Tunisia, Lybia, Egypt, etc., but all it did was replace one dictator with a dictator form of fundamentalist government. The second is worse than the first. Here is some crazy liberal/progressive trying to sell people about Muslims, but the crowd reacts differently.

In a 2004 interview with Cathleen Falsani, Obama said, “I believe that there are many paths to the same place.” Obama also said, “All people of faith—Christians, Jews, Muslims, animists, everyone knows the same God.”

But Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Nowhere in the Bible is there a reference to Obama’s “many paths.”

At a meeting of evangelical leaders in 2008, Obama was asked whether he believed Jesus was the only way to salvation. Obama replied, “Jesus is the only way for me.”‘

In a stunning example of subtle, diabolical deceit, Obama affirms Christ as his own Savoir then negates Christ as the only Savior of the world.

Jesus warned us not to be deceived by those who would lead us astray. “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.”

Jesus is the narrow gate and the only way to heaven. Obama’s view says, in effect, that Jesus’ death on the cross was unnecessary since there are multiple ways to God. The many paths of Obama are in reality just the broad road to destruction.

Who are you going to believe, Jesus Christ or Barack Obama?

Of course Obama admits to being a Muslim; death is the sentence for apostasy, leaving Islam. That’s why he periodically makes statements referring to his Muslim faith.

On the other hand, it is perfectly acceptable for a Muslim to lie to the Infidel Americans by pretending to be a Christian, as long as it is furthering the cause of Islam…..through political jihad. And that is exactly what is going on.

            Yo Jeff,
Facts are very stubborn things and many on this site really have very little use for them.

          • Jeff

If every time something seemed strange it meant someone was guilty of a crime, the jails would really be full. It seemed strange to me how W somehow won the state where his brother was governor. It seemed strange to me that exit polls are always accurate. . . except when a Bush is running. It seemed strange to me to invade Iraq when we knew it would inure to Iran’s benefit. It seemed strange to me how the right wingers kept denigrating the job the inspectors were doing in Iraq because they were not finding the weapons Old Rummy knew were there. It seemed strange to me the way Romney kept firing that guy on SNL (Sometimes there’s more TRUTH in fiction than in straight reporting.).

I am telling you the truth Bob. It is written.

God does not like or honor sodomy or gays or however you want to call them. He tells us in His Word that if we have open sodomy in our military our military will not be honored by him.

Bob I have really been convicted and convinced that I have not been making a stand for my precious Lord and for His values. God’s ways are right.

God says he would that we were either hot or cold but that if we were luke warm he would spew us out of His mouth. I have been trying to tone it down for you actually, as I have been trying to let you know about the Lord. I can no longer do that. I have to make a stand. Time is running out here, and it is important for those of us who know the Lord and Truth to stand.

I want you to know that God loves you, but you have to love Him back and you have to honor Him, and not make fun of Him. I do pray for you and pray that you find salvation.

Quite right Harold; Obutthole is an arselifter. And yes, his supporters STILL will not acknowledge that. Even some who don’t support the miserable lying POS will contend that he is not a muslime, but maybe just a dhimmi dip in strong support of the death cult called pislam! As for my view, though some would go as far as to say he is the Antichrist, I still hold the view that Obutthole is to the Antichrist as John the Baptist was to Christ. He will no doubt have his nose up the butt of the Antichrist when he (the Antichrist) DOES make his grand entrance; and he (the Antichrist), will undoubtedly be an arselifter from a nation of arselifters; my first guess Syria, where contending factions of arselifters are trying to overthrow Assad, with the support of our Arselifter-in-Chief. Personally, I believe we should pull ALL U.S troops out of the Mideast and leave the warring factions of arselifters to kill each other; we already have way too many muslimes here in America we need to get the hell out!!….But that takes off on another topic, so I’ll conclude my rant at this point.

  • peter

Personally, I am still trying to work out exactly why I never liked this arrogant, self aggrandizing excuse for a President. I have, since the empty suit first appeared on the scene, had a deep seated gut feeling that his ‘sincerity posturing’ is a front for a deeply troubled and disturbed inner being. The recognition of his arrogance, incompetence and smirking don’t explain it. Still working on it, but at the end of the day I feel better by admitting that I just do not trust him, he is a fake from top to bottom, inside and outside and the American people deserve better! If he was really a gangster, he would never have made it!

    • Robbie

Could it be that part of your problem is that the President is black and deep down inside you get nervous about that?

      • Don 2

I happen to object to the policies of the white half of the president. Is that a problem with you Robbie?

        • Robbie

Nope, it ain’t a problem with me.

          • JeffH

I guess the question best asked of you Robbie is whether you object to anything about this POTUS or do you just see him as a black man under attack by a bunch of racists…damning his policies and his attempts to fundamentally change our Constitutional Repuplic?

          • Robbie

Change is fundamental. And change has happened in America more or less constantly since 1776 both because of the Constitution and despite it. A one time there were slaves with no human rights. Remember that? Well that changed didn’t it? There was a time when women were not allowed to vote. Remember that? Well that changed didn’t it? There was a time when workers were horribly exploited and that was changed too. Change has come about under all presidents. And at each of those points of change there were folks just like you who had to be dragged kicking and screaming and whining into the next century. And now we have this current President who is bringing about a more equitable health care system – a system where health care will come to be viewed as a right. And gays will be welcomed into the realm of full human rights. Yes the likes of you will whine and shake your fists just as other backward folk did in the past. But these changes and improvements shall come to pass and in 20 and 100 years from now future Americans will look back at us now and wonder what on earth took so long.

        • Robbie

If you don’t think that race is a very, very, very, deep seated problem for some Americans then you really don’t know much about the U.S.A. Mind you the black President was indeed elected by Americans twice and to the senate as well and he carried many mostly white states which demonstrates the amazing enlightenment of many Americans.

Perhaps you also think that the word gay means to have a fun time at a party! Well times have changed since Ike was the President. Not much point in discussing anything with you since you are living in the last century and, in fact, way back in the last century.

The only way to exceed all clown and dope expectations in a candidate, would be if it were possible to pick a Canadian, eh!

          • Robbie

We have a number of clowns and dopes in our government and political parties too of course. But America does do so much better than other countries in any number of things and the GOP last election cycle exceeded the hopes of even the late night comedians.

          • Don 2

You’re right about one thing Hockey Puck, America does do so much better than other countries in any number of things, like having a real military force, for one. By the way, how many modern aircraft carriers are there in the Canadian navy?

          • Robbie

I think you guys should pick a few more small countries and bomb the living daylights out of them. Blow up a few more hundred thousand people. Why not? You’ve got the power to do so – we all know that. And with your ample arrogance you can kind of roll over one and all. How are things going in Afghanistan by the way? Is that turning out good for you? Iraq was pretty neat. We know that. And Vietnam – how did your modern aircraft carries work out there? Mind you you were able to deal with Grenada! Big win on that one. Where is Grenada anyway? It’s so tiny you can hardly find it on a map. Ronnie did real good there.

          • Don 2

I think we’ll probably just annex Canada and get rid of that border, eh!

          • Robbie

Well you did deal with Granada so why not Canada? Of course Vietnam didn’t go too well. Iraq was kind of a waste of time not to mention all the young Americans killed and wounded for life. Afghanistan’s not exactly a victory either and how’s it going for you in trying to control Kim Jung On? Yup, you are one powerhouse of a county. But, sure, take over Canada. Most of us would welcome that anyway. We’re already your biggest trading partner and you buy most of your oil from us. And once we’re part of the U.S. you’ll learn how incredibly great socialzed medicine is as opposed to that watered down version Obama has brought in. Also it’ll be a lot easier for us to buy property in Florida and L.A. and when I visit my many friends and quite a few relatives (including 7 grand kids) in the states I’ll be able to bypass the 3 minute delay at the border! On the downside I’ll have to add Spanish to English and French. Generally Americans don’t like the fact that there are people who speak a different language than they do.

          • Don 2

Well, here’s the scoop Hockey Puck.

Vietnam – In the words of 8-year Hanoi Hilton P.O.W. and hero Admiral Jeremiah Denton, who famously blinked in morse code the word “torture” while being interviewed by the North Vietnamese, “The victory was insanely handed back to the enemy by congressional actions motivated by political catering to the media, academic and public antiwar activities, which tragically comprised a loud, violent, ignorant minority of our people who were swept along in the days of national dissolution.”

Iraq – It is your hero, Obama the community antagonizer, who announced to the enemy long ago, “Be patient, you can have it back because we’re leaving!”

Afghanistan – Seems that I recall the Canadians also being there. Oh, that’s right, some of your guys got killed by friendly fire, so you cut & run.

As far as buying property is concerned, Americans cannot buy property in Canada, so what are you crying aboot, eh?

          • Robbie

My wife is American and she owns 5 properties here in Canada so I have no idea where your information is coming from. Rush etc?

Ah ha, so does this make YOU a racist because you don’t like Conservative blacks?????

          • Robbie

            No

          • Jana

Of course it doesn’t. Not any more than it doesn’t make anyone else a racist because we don’t like Obama’s policies. Not because he is half black, but because we don’t like his Socialist policies.
I don’t like Biden’s policies either by the way and he isn’t black!

          • Robbie

You make a good point I must say. I guess I have felt Obama’s policies were so decent especially especially on providing health care to all Americans as a basic right that I considered anyone who opposed him either a racist or just a dope.

          • Jana

            Thank you Robbie.

I am neither a racist nor a dope, I am an American that is entitled to my opinion. My opinion is I believe in our Founding Fathers and our Constitution and as long as we follow it we will be the greatest Nation in the World.

Recently we have seen our freedoms being eroded because of the very policies that you think are so great. Forcing some people to buy into government health care while exempting Obama’s friends and donors and his Muslim brothers isn’t freedom, its a new way of taxation.
Unions are exempt, as well as the Muslims and many many groups that asked to be while the bill was being written. Even many who helped get this bill pushed through have stated that this bill is a fiasco and is going to cost way too much.

The IRS is being enlarged as we speak. They are going to be more like a gestapo type organization, its scary the power they already have but the power they will have will be even more.

          • Robbie

I have to admit that I am not fully aware of all the details of the health plan. The whole business is a very complicated matter to be sure and partly so because there had to be many compromises to get even this far. As I’ve said before up here in Canada we have managed to evolve a wonderful system and not complicated at all. Simply put all medical services are funded by the government from taxation and all medical services are available to any citizen when needed. A lot like the fire dept. which we are also happy with up here. The idea there is that if your house catches fire or if you are in a car wreck and need to be rescued the fire dept simply shows up and does its job and is, of course, paid for by taxpayers (municipal in that case). In any case your Constitution is a great thing. I consider it right up there with the Bible for greatness and inspiration and so on. But the world is constantly changing and we should change with it. We no longer allow slavery or the non voting of women which were both considered normal by the Founders. And the Bible calls for the stoning of gay people and death to children who swear at their parents and a prohibition of eating pork and many other antiquated laws. I don’t think you could find too many people who still want to enforce laws like that.

An ancient Greek – Hericlitus – noted that “there is nothing permanent except change itself” and when a nation is populated by people of good will – like America – those changes are almost always for the better. You know that the Russians had a great constitution as well but their society was rough not only around the edges but at its core as well with the result that the words on the paper meant next to nothing. The American Constitution contines to be a useful guide because Americans are basically good and fair minded and compassionate. Have a great day. R

          • Jana

            Robbie,

            You stated:
And the Bible calls for the stoning of gay people and death to children who swear at their parents and a prohibition of eating pork and many
other antiquated laws. I don’t think you could find too many people who
still want to enforce laws like that*******

I am not aware of where the Bible talks about stoning of gay people. I am aware of the pork thing and it is a health law that although I am not a Jew, I do adhere to as the pig does not have sweat glands to get rid of the impurities in its body. The pig is a scavenger. This however is a personal choice, nothing to do with your spiritual life.
The death of children swearing at their parents has been done away with in Biblical laws. We have to know the difference between the Mandates, the Ordinances and the Law’s of the Bible. Please remember God is always fair.

Sadly there is slavery going on right now even here in the United States and probably Canada. Many Muslims have slaves in their households. It is reported but not often. It might hurt the Muslims feelings.

There may be a few things in our Constitution that needs updating, but the basic Constitution should stand. We are a Republic , one nation under God, and Obama wants to make us one nation under Allah and we won’t allow it.
You have a great day too. J.

          • Robbie

As I noted most folks who insist on following the so-called laws of God in the Bible actually don’t know even a quarter of what is in there. In Exodux 21:17 God commands that “he who curses his father or his mother shall be put to death.” Also, have an extramarital affair and you shall be PUT TO DEATH (Leviticus 20:10). How many people would still be alive in America if the Bible was actually enforced?!?!? Not that it matters because those two LAWS OF GOD are simply ridiculous. And don’t bother telling me that they are ordinances or mandates or whatever. And don’t bother telling me that some laws in the Bible “have been done away with”. You either follow the Bible or don’t bother but you can’t pick and choose what to obey and what to discard. They are clearly and unmistakenly LAWS OF GOD. And you can forget about not only not eating pig – you shall not eat any creature from the sea without scales. Yes, that’s a LAW OF GOD.

So the point is that even the Bible contains a lot of nonsense and ANYONE who states that it should be followed because it is “the word of God” is clearly a mental case (or someone who simply does not know what’s in there). Likewise the Constitution should be viewed as a very good guide but one which needs some updating as you put it. Anyone who thinks, for example, that the Founders would consider some nut with a military grade weapon who mows down 20 grade 1 kids in their classroom as being part of a “well regulated militia” is also clearly a nut or someone of very limited intelligence.

And finally don’t fret too much about your President wanting Allah or Sharia to rule America. He does not and there isn’t a shred of evidence to suggest that he does. One of my American relatives two years ago told me (twice) that Obama was going to personally kill everyone over the age of 65. Personally! Now I’m just over 65 so I got a bit nervous. But it only took 1 1/2 seconds to realize that my relative was clearly being idiotic. And to think she actually gets to vote in elections!

          • Jana

Well Robbie, I will tell you you don’t know what you are talking about as you obviously have read the Bible but have NOT studied it.

You sound like sound like your American Relative who told you Obama was personally going to kill anyone over the age of 65. Of course that is wrong. Just like you are wrong about the Bible.

The Bible contains NO nonsense, IF you know how to read and understand what you have read. I have been a serious student of the Word of God now for I had to count it up) 16 years. You can’t pick up a couple of scriptures from some group on the net and take their word for it either. They will mislead you. I am not telling you I am any expert on the Bible but I can tell you you are wrong.
*ANYONE who states that it should NOT be followed because it is “the word of God” is clearly a mental case because like you,( you simply don’t know what’s in there). to use your own words!*

I will state one more time you don’t know what you are talking about!!!

But hey, you are master of your own ship, you sail it any way you want to.

          • Robbie

You don’t have to be an expert, you just have to know how to read. Now I realize that lots of folks like to interpret and study and twist around what the Bible says but when you read – for example – the two LAWS I directly quoted there really is no room to alter the word of GOD. When the written word of GOD states “he who curses his father or his mother shall be put to death” I would reject anyone who starts to monkey around by suggesting that that does NOT mean what it says. Study all you like but it says what it says. It doesn’t say the opposite no matter how much you “study” it. In fact there is a law somewhere near the end of the Torah that states that not one word shall be taken away from or added to the Torah. I strongly suggest – seeing as you claim to be a follower of the Bible – that you actually follow the LAWS OF GOD AS WRITTEN and get out of the interpretation and twisting game. You either follow the Bible or you don’t – death to gays and death for extramarital monkey business and death to children who curse out their parents.

I’m not urging you to follow the Bible word for word because – as I have shown – much in it is highly objectionable and dumb too. But if you claim that you are a follower then simply do so with no alterations please. So cut out the bacon and shellfish while you’re at it. In fact you’d better start eating Kosher if you do not want to break the LAWS OF GOD! You do have Kosher food outlets nearby I hope.

The Bible also states He who repents shall be forgiven. I believe in the Whole Bible.

HHHHHooooorrrrraaaaahhhhh! Keep up the good fight fellow patriot. Never mind Robbie, as he sounds like someone that I know and he is also a blowhard. All they do is spread lies about the Bible, just like their lord satan tells them to do. You know Robbie the more you talk the more you identify yourself as a Kenite.

Actually I already told you I follow the health food laws of the Bible and I will inform you of one more sweet fact. The scripture you are referring to is also in Rev in the Holy Bible:

            Rev 22:18-19
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

One thing for sure, Jesus came BECAUSE we are ALL sinners and cannot possibly make it to heaven without sacrifice. Do we sacrifice animals today? NO we don’t. Why? Because Christ was our sacrifice for sin.

            John 3:14-21
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
            KJV

Jesus was from the tribe of Judah and the tribe of Levi so He is called our KING OF KINGS and our HIGH PRIEST.

You have not read the whole Bible nor the manuscripts. You are being very judgmental and not discerning of the scriptures at all. What about the prophets are you discounting them?

What about grace? Do you know nothing about grace? You are spiritually blind if not. How can you help any one. This is the whole purpose of the scriptures. To know where we are coming from and to know grace and how His grace helps us to overcome.

There are two Golden Rules !. Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart soul and mind. And the 2nd is like unto it, To love thy neighbor as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all of the laws and prophets. God put these into place in the very beginning.

Piety, that is due reverence to a higher superior
authority. Civil, treating mankind like human beings.

As far as the homosexuals go, in the Old Testament they were put to death, but Jesus died for our sins so they can repent. They aren’t put to death now. God will judge them and all of us, on judgement day and it will be fair. Not man’s judgement, but God’s judgement and not just from one angle , but God is a heart knower. Are you a heart knower? No you cannot know someones heart, no man can.

You say, “I would reject anyone who starts to monkey around by suggesting that that does NOT mean what it says. ” It is human nature to reject what you don’t understand, therefore it is obvious you don’t understand the scriptures or the Torah. You don’t know how the Torah is broken down, by way of Law, Statue and judgements, which parts have been fulfilled, which parts are being fulfilled at present and which parts have yet to be fulfilled. The Torah, Prophets, Grace and the Apocalypse. Rightly dividing the Word in these ways is just a start of discerning where people are at, so we can help each other. We all need help. None of us have arrived and are perfect. Otherwise the way you put it, seems like you want to condemn the very thing that helps people. Or, maybe you don’t want to help people.

          • Jana

            Robbie,

You said,” Ultimately, it seems to me, all of our talking
and thinking and pontificating and conjuring boils down to how we deal with death. There are and have been hundreds and hundreds of religions over time and death is a central theme in all of them. People generally fear dying; they want to live. Some want to live forever. . . “
            ********************************
Wow Robbie, how sad. No wonder you want to condemn the very thing that helps people, with your evolutionary theories you have no hope.

For a true Christian there is no fear of dying. I don’t worry about or think about death at all. Neither does anyone in my family. We all are quite assured as to where we are going when we die. We are familiar and friendly with the Scriptures. Death means I will receive my inheritance, I am a child of the most High God.

I am reminded about one of my good friend’s husband. He was outside on a beautiful Saturday morning and all of a sudden my girlfriend heard a loud clap of thunder and a terrible noise outside. She went out to find her husband had been hit by lightning. She is now a widow. A storm was coming but was still 30
minutes away. None of us are guaranteed a tomorrow.

One thing for sure, I don’t want to live forever. I will live my life to its fullest here on this earth, but when I die I am going to my reward, my inheritance. I am a child of the Most High God.

There are so many scriptures pertaining to this I had to
            make myself stop.
            Eph 1:1-13

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to
the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the
foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in
            love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the
            good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the
            forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
            8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will,
according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose
of HIM who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
            Gal 3:18-29
18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise
19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it
was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ
            Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
            Heb 9:14-17
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new
testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the
            promise of eternal inheritance.
16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

            2. Robbie,

You have also stated: “Even so I have come to realize that humans – while being different from other species – are simply another species on this planet.
In fact each species is different from all others. In many ways we are one of the worst species given all the horrors we inflict on others. In any case we are what we are as the result of billions of years of evolution just as other species are what they are. I rather doubt anything is going to improve us at this point.”

Let me explain something to you.
            Gen 1:1-2

1 In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth.
**In the beginning was how long ago? 500,000 years? A million years ago? More than likely closer to billions. During this first World age there was also a heaven age by the way, a lot of things were going on. Lucifer was a cherished angel who was coming up in the ranks of God and became the guardian of the Mercy Seat. Until Lucifer decided that he should be the one sitting ON the throne. There was a war in heaven and Lucifer and those he corrupted who were 1/3 of the angels were thrown out of heaven.

There was an awful lot going on between verse 1 and verse 2. This has been years of study and I am not going to try and put it all down now as I don’t
think you would care to even hear about it anyway.*****

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

****The rest of the chapter up to v.26 it
deals with God through Jesus restoring the earth back to its original state of being. ********

            Gen 1:26-31
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
*****hmmm Have you ever wondered who the US was in this verse? Who was God talking to? Himself? No, the
            angels. *********

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. ****** He created men and women
simultaneously, not separately very important to note this. This also tells you that the angels are created in the image of God. We all have our own appearances, but we all also have an image of man.********

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
******Uh oh there goes your theory about us being “just another species here on earth” it just isn’t so. You stated,” In any case we are what we are as the
result of billions of years of evolution just as other species are what they are. I rather doubt anything is going to improve us at this point.” First off, man in the flesh has not been here for billions of years. We are now living in the 2nd world age and the 2nd heaven age as they correlate with each other, but man in the
flesh has only been here during this 2nd world and heaven age.

What did the scripture say about have dominion over the fish of the sea and the fowl of the air and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth??? God gave us dominion.

Lucifer, aka Satan, aka the destroyer, aka the desolator, aka son of perdition, aka Death, etc, etc. is the one who causes those who he influences to destroy, tear up, dirty up, kill, mutilate, and do all of the horrors that are inflicted on others.*****

29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. ***One day is a thousand years****

****Now you see everything did not start in the garden as the
garden has not even been formed yet as there is no farmer.*****

            Gen 2:2-5

2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,

5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

***Now we come to the 8th day *****

            Gen 2:6-8

6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into is nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
***the manuscripts call him Eth Ha Adam so there is a difference which makes this Adam emphatic.

******The difference is the 6th day God created all of the races and did it on purpose. Robbie, that includes the black race. God loves all of the races He has created and He said they were good.********

8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had
            formed.

God then creates more animals because this Eth Ha Adam will need them, and Adam then names as they were domesticated to help the farmer with the land.

            Gen 2:21-22

            21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

****Of course we know that God did not really remove a real rib from Adam he removed something we now know was the (am not sure of the spelling here helix curve (Deoxy-ribonucluac Acid) which we now know is the DNA to make the race from which from
umbilical cord to umbilical cord from Eve will come Christ, the Adamic race . This is why she was flesh of his flesh and bone of his bone, she took on his blue
print with a womb. That is why she is called woman.*****

22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
Then they were placed in the garden.

            KJV

          • Robbie

As I noted, Jana, religion most certainly provides adherents with comfort regarding death. It clearly has done so for you.

          • Jana

            Not religion, Robbie, CHRISTIANITY!

          • Robbie

Well you may have chosen Christianity (actually your parents probably chose it for you or it was pretty much the only one provided by your local community) which is fine but what I was saying was that religions in general provide adherents with comfort regarding death. I realize that you consider your particular religion to be better than others but that is because it is the only one you have experienced. Most Christians would agree with you just as most Hindus probably consider THEIR religion superior as do Muslims and Jews and Baha’i etc., etc. regarding THEIR religions. We are ethnocentric by nature and arrogant usually as well.

          • Jana

Actually Robbie NO! My daddy was in to the beginnings of witch craft.

My parents smoke and drank and cursed when I was a child. I hated it. I always talked to the Lord and loved God. My childhood girlfriend (3 rd grade) started telling me about Jesus. I loved Jesus from the moment I heard His name.
I had the privilege of leading my parents to the Lord.

There is a big difference between religion and Christianity. Christianity is a Reality.
I am not trying to force anything on you. You are free to believe what you want.

          • Robbie

Do you think it is just pure chance that in Christian countries most folks turn out to be Christian and in Hindu countries most folks turn out to be Hindu and in Muslim countries most folks turn out to be Muslim and in Bhuddist countries most folks turn out to be Bhuddist? Why do you think that might be? Or do you think about such things at all?

          • Jana

As you said most, but not all. God is Truth.

          • Robbie

I’ll put it another way. Why would it be that 95% of religious people in America are Christian and that 90% or so of people in India are Hindu and that 99% of folks in Arab countries are Muslim? Does it not begin to look like folks consider the religion that they are “born” into to be naturally superior? Religion – and truth – is merely a cultural thing specific to where we happen to get born.

          • Jana

Most of those Hindu’s and Buddhists disown their family members if they become Christians. Muslims more than likely will kill Christians in their countries, we see it happening all the time.

Even where Christianity is practiced most people don’t understand what true Christianity is. Most people say well of course I am a Christian, I am certainly not a heathen! They have no idea what the Bible actually says. Ask them Biblical questions and they falter or are easily deceived.

Stand for nothing and you will fall for anything.

In the Book of Revelation there are only 2 churches out of the 7 churches in Asia that God is pleased with. 5 Churches God says that He has somewhat against them because they have left their first love.

            Rev 2:4-5
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
            Rev 3:14-16
            14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth..

The church of Smyrna and Philedelphia God is pleased with. Most of the people belong to the 5 churches that God is NOT pleased with. They are blind to the truth. Otherwise they would not be silent to what is going on today in our country.

Robbie, I am sorry you are one of the blind ones yourself. You think you are so smart, and you are, in a very worldly way, but you are very lacking in a Godly way.
Which one are you Robbie? Lukewarm or cold?
From the way you write I would say cold and God says its better to be cold than lukewarm but I am not your judge, so- – – – .

My point was that people who are religious for the most part take on the religion of their community, their culture. There are and have been thousands of religions and members of ALL of them feel/felt that THEIR religion was the best one or the most true one or whatever and that THEIR god (or gods) was the best one of all. But you are right in that the vast, vast majority of members of any religion have only a superficial knowledge of the foundations of their religion.

I once got in to a discussion with three orthodox Jews right at the Wailing Wall in the old city of Jerusalem. They told me – as members of religions are prone to do – that it was necessary to follow the laws in their “good” book to the letter. I love when that happens because those who demand that never follow it themselves. And when you point out just a few of the so-called god given laws that THEY are breaking they are shocked and actually deny that those laws even exist. it’s actually pathetic and heartbreaking when you encounter those who are so fervent and strident and so dumb at the same time.

Every religious text of every religion were written by men. Not god. Sorry, but that’s a fact. And mostly those men wrote those texts long ago when folks didn’t really know much about nature and the globe and biology and evolution and geology etc. If those men came back today still believing in a flat world, that the stars were gods just out of our reach, that you could get to heaven by building a tower, that there were dragons in the ocean ready to swallow up seafarers, that you could make rain by doing a little dance etc. and you got to speak to them you would quickly see how totally stupid they were. And I’m not being insulting by using the word stupid in this context. Those folks simply did not know very much and the myths they created were their attempts (noble attempts at that and interesting and even poetic sometimes) to make sense of the world. There are many great human insights in those texts. I have outlined some of those wonderful things in the Torah – for example – in previous postings but, frankly, to follow blindly every last nonsensical comment dreamed up by fellows 2 or 5 THOUSAND years ago is to be even more ignorant than they were.

          • Jana

Sounds like you think you are just too smart for God. Oh well, all too soon you will be able to find out for yourself. Life is fleeting at its very best. All will know the Truth soon enough.

The one difference is God has proven Himself over and over. I certainly don’t have to prove Him to you or to anyone else.

          • Robbie

Too smart for God? I don’t think about life in those terms. I find truth in the garden; in wildflowers and in the tiny creatures in the earth and in the generation of leaves. I find peace in helping others and in understanding human interactions. I find pleasure in my world travels and having seen first hand the commonality of all men in other lands – over 40 of them so far and more to come. I find joy watching my 11 grandchildren especially the 2 youngest who are both three years old and focused upon colouring in shapes in their activity books. They pour over the page with such intensity as if discovering a new planet. I no longer care about being understood, I want to understand. I find great joy and comfort now that I grasp my role in the cosmos and I finally understand the Shakespeare line that was so alien to me in high school when he wrote that life is a stage and we all have so short a time upon that stage and that we strut and fret upon that stage for but an hour and then …. oblivion. I smile at those who think we are superior to other life forms on our planet. Sometimes I gaze up at the sky from my rooftop terrace and – like you – I try to imagine the pure vastness of our solar system and our universe and the infinite universes beyond our own and I realize that if there be a god or there be no god that either possibility is quite staggering.

          • Bill Henry

Have you read the entire law called “Obama Care”. There will be a group of people appointed to a committee that will weigh the cost of a treatment against the age and likely additional years it will give the person. If the find that it will not be cost effective you won’t get the treatment. I am 69 and suffer from 20 physical maladies, including lupus and diabetes. What do you think the finding will be when my case comes up for a life saving treatment? I would say zilch. I don’t fear death at all, but I want my progeny to enjoy the same liberties that I have lived with and have defended for nearly a third of my life. That gives me the spirit to fight this man and all he stands for, and a duty to be guided by an oath that I swore to with “So Help Me God”. His bloating of the welfare, food stamp and disability roles is nothing but blatant vote buying, and those who don’t see that are blind fools. The same with his immigration policies. He is pursuing an agenda to bring this country to its knees. He has spent us into bankruptcy and continues with his tax and spend policies. What will happen when we don’t have the money to pay all these programs?

          • Jana

One more point I would like to make.

Most philosophers were anti God and believed that man is his own god. Russia did have a good Constitution at first, but Socialism took over and destroyed the meaning of the constitution of Russia, and they killed the Christian rulers and you will remember they recently found where they were buried and tested their DNA and confirmed their heritage back to Queen Elizabeth’s ancestors.

Russia started out with Socialism, killed Christianity and the next Communism and so now they are Communists. Socialism is the next step to Communism.

God is the same yesterday, today and forever. This is why we in this country are fighting to keep Socialism out.

Socialism tries to water down God’s Word and make it conform to Humanism instead of humans conforming to God’s Word, which never changes. God never intended for His word to change, this is why it is under such great attack.

The Bible tells us that in the end times we will be in a famine of for the Word and for Truth, not for food.
            Amos 8:7

          • Robbie

Wait a moment. I think you could be in some difficulty here if you believe in following the Bible – as you seem to indicate – and yet are against socialism.

          • Jana

On the contrary. Socialism the way it is today is very perverted from what you think the Bible presented.
Socialism of today destroys God’s Word. Socialism of today nullify’s God’s Word. Socialism of today takes God totally out of the picture.

          • Robbie

Really? What would you call it if American farmers were commanded to not harvest all of their crops but rather leave a portion for the unemployed to come on to their property and take? Would you call that socialism? And what would you call it if the owners of all the vineyards in America were ordered to leave a portion of the grapes on the vine so that the poor and anyone “on the road” could help themselves? And what would you call it if you were commanded to allow anyone on to your land at night so that they could pick up and walk off with any of your crop that had fallen to the ground? Frankly I don’t think you would like that very much now would you? I mean why should hard working Americans be forced to allow the poor and the unemployed on to their PRIVATE property and be allowed to walk off with free food?

So now you can go and read up on this welfare measure. In a way it’s like food stamps. I bet you don’t like food stamps now do you? Giving free food to bums? That’s pinko talk right? But where can you read up on this? Here you go – try the Book of Leviticus, chapter 19 versus 9 & 10. That’s the ticket. You gotta love them Bible laws. Thus sayith the Lord!

          • Jana

What would you call it if American farmers were commanded to not harvest
all of their crops but rather leave a portion for the unemployed to
come on to their property and take? Would you call that socialism? And
what would you call it if the owners of all the vineyards in America
were ordered to leave a portion of the grapes on the vine so that the
poor and anyone “on the road” could help themselves? And what would you
call it if you were commanded to allow anyone on to your land at night
so that they could pick up and walk off with any of your crop that had
fallen to the ground? Frankly I don’t think you would like that very
much now would you? I mean why should hard working Americans be forced
to allow the poor and the unemployed on to their PRIVATE property and be
allowed to walk off with free food?************

Actually this is wonderful. They are not really “walking off” with free food, they are working hard for their food as it takes real work to go out into the fields to pick and and clean up any of the food that is left behind. So it is in no way like food stamps. If we had people that would be willing to work that hard we would have less people actually on welfare. Another point, if you knew someone that was needy that couldn’t get out in the field oh what a blessing you would receive to go out in that field for them in their stead.

Another thing it doesn’t say anything about them coming on your property at night, they can come like decent human beings in the daylight.

No one minds helping those who are in true need. My goodness, when someone is physically incapable of helping themselves this is what we all should be willing to do. Even you. Even now with food stamps, as that is what they are for. What they are NOT for is for free loaders who are capable of working but who choose not to because they are too lazy to go to work.

YES, we love those Biblical laws!

          • Robbie

Maybe it takes “real work” to walk on to someones land and pick up free food – but not a whole lot I wouldn’t think. But if that is called work then walking down to the store with your food stamps and picking food off those darn lower shelves and having to carry it home is “real work” too. Look, either way it’s welfare and I agree with you in thinking it’s just fine. Others often need our help.

Mind you from what I hear about present day Christian America walking on to the property of someone else can get your head blow off with a shotgun!

Oh, and how about that very clear law about death to a child who curses his father or his mother? “Love” that one as well do we? And how about the one that commands that a woman who is raped must marry her rapist?!? Gotta love those Biblical laws alrighty, golly, gosh, gee. You betcha’

As I said before You must LEARN how to read the Word of God with understanding and COMPREHENSION. There are STATUTES, JUDGEMENTS, AND COMMANDMENTS as seen in the two verses below. You must study to show yourself approved so you won’t look like a fool when you try to make someone else look foolish.

            Deut 26:16-17

16 This day the Lord thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

17 Thou hast avouched the Lord this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:
            KJV

            Rom 3:3-18
3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? ****NO!****

4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. *****Robbie everyone will be judged.****

5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)

6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
*****He has the authority to judge the world as He created the world and sent His Son to die for the sins of this world******

7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? ****No, those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior and repented have had their sins washed away. They are no more.*****

8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.****** Of course not. When we go about the Lord’s business people will always accuse us of wrong doing. But that is what Satan wants them to do. We don’t fight against man, but against spiritual darkness.********

            9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

***Robbie this includes you and me. I have repented and accepted Jesus as my saviour. It doesn’t make me or any Christian better than anyone else, just makes us saved.****

10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: *****The only one that is righteous is Jesus and we become righteous through Him. He is the only way!*****

11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. *****We are coming to a time that people mock God and His Mighty Word*****

12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: ***not a pretty picture here****

14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:

16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:

17 And the way of peace have they not known:

18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.

            ******Sad very sad.

            Eph 6:1-4

6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
            KJV

          • Robbie

A number of things you have presented here reinforce some thoughts I have been having for a number of years. Ultimately, it seems to me, all of our talking and thinking and pontificating and conjuring boils down to how we deal with death. There are and have been hundreds and hundreds of religions over time and death is a central theme in all of them. People generally fear dying; they want to live. Some want to live forever, some deny the topic altogether and lord only knows there are a multitude of so-called explanations of what supposedly happens after we die. Religions try to give us solice or hope about an afterlife so that we don’t spend every living moment in a state of anxiety. You speak of “being saved” so I know how you are dealing with your ultimate demise.

I spend a lot of time in my rooftop garden and – over the years – I have learned much about life and evolution and death and the inter-relationship between all living things. And now that I have 11 grandchildren I have begun to more fully understand and appreciate the cycles of life. Having studied and taught ancient and medieval history and having traveled extensively I feel I have a better than average connection with people long gone who went through the same anxious moments that we currently do. I also have come to terms with the fact that I am mortal and will be dead certainly within the next 35 years although my parents are still alive and well at 91 and 95.

Even so I have come to realize that humans – while being different from other species – are simply another species on this planet. In fact each species is different from all others. In many ways we are one of the worst species given all the horrors we inflict on others. In any case we are what we are as the result of billions of years of evolution just as other species are what they are. I rather doubt anything is going to improve us at this point.

In any case death will come to each of us just as it comes to giant Redwood trees and ants and grape vines. All living things have their time on the stage – as Shakespeare put it – and then it’s over. My view is that death is exactly the way it was not only before we were born but before we were conceived. Period. It’s difficult to cope with that thought but it’s a lot more pleasant than trying to contemplate hell or heaven or any of the many mythologies and fabrications about death that people have dreamed up over the centuries. We are as the generations of leaves. We germinate – as it were – and then we grow and then we mature into adults and have offspring (or flowering seeds) and then we begin to fade and then we wither away. Flowering plants give us the entire insight in the revolution of a single summer and yet most people ignore the lesson. Like all other animals and like all the plants and trees and bugs that cover the surface of this earth and that are in the sea.

There are those – and religions are mostly guilty of this – who like to promote the notion that homo sapiens are superior and therefore get some special treatment by mother nature but this is pure hubris and wishful thinking. The great irony, of course, is that of all the species on earth it is mankind that is the most likely to destroy it all. And we certainly create enough havoc – one need only pick up one newspaper a day to know that.

Of course there are and have been wonderful people. My personal favorites are Jesus and Francis of Asissi and a couple you have not heard of. People like this inspire us to reach for an ideal but in the end we are no different than those leaves of autumn nor the rustling, rustling wheat.

So, Jana, seek comfort where you must in whatever words are written in whatever “holy” text you care to study. But remember it was no accident that the folks who wrote the Torah (you call it the Bible) had everything begin in the GARDEN.

What we care about and do has nothing to do with Canada or the world. What the world wants to do is come and rape this country for it natural resources, and leave its people destitute, and we have a President whose every move expresses his implicitness in the agenda. Our Constitution to him is a flawed document, and he constantly attacks it and its principles. We see you comments about the Russian Constitution happening to ours, and we are concerned about it. As far as health care goes I doubt if any American would oppose a plan that was fair to everyone, but the one this man put out is a monstrosity that cannot be defended and he know it. That is why he put it under the control of the IRS, the most powerful department in the executive branch. No we have them abusing folks who are divergent from his policies, and the NSA is collecting data from all our electronic communications systems, which I believe they are prohibited from doing unless they have just cause against a specific person or persons. He is a man who watches videos of drones which he controls killing people. His Attorney General says it is legal to use them against Americans, even on American soil. It is obvious to anyone who views these facts that he has an agenda which is not in keeping with the Constitution, and there are those among us who will not allow that to happen without resistance.

In a country of hundreds of millions of people things as complicated as firefighting, the military, park service, highway building, health care, the courts, etc DOES have to be organized by the government. That’s why the Founders set up the federal system of government as they did. You may not like the system the Founders established and detailed in the Constitution but that’s your problem.

And, by the way, not only am I not a patriot but I’m not even an American plus there is no god so you needn’t repeat that love of country and god stuff that you put in all your postings. It’s actually getting a bit boring seeing the same thing again and again.

          • http://batman-news.com samurai

Show me anywhere where our Christian founding fathers, or our founding documents, says we can have government funded health care at the expense of the taxpayers. You can’t because they did not believe in government controlled anything. You are bored by my FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! saying? Well boo hoo. Isn’t the God given right of free speech great? Well the Founding Fathers also did not talk about government setting up fire departments. I guess you don’t think we should have government controlled firefighters on duty to save us and our homes when fire strikes but most people do. Especially if you have ever been in a fire or a car wreck.

But not allowing for government control of ANYTHING? Where did you get that nutty idea? The Constitution is an entire collection of powers given to various elected officials who control all kinds of things. Did you ever read the Constitution? It sure doesn’t sound like it. Oh, and by the way, you might like to know that a government established postal system IS mandated specifically by the Founders. But you didn’t know that did you?

          • Bill Henry

The Bill of Rights and the ninth Amendment delineate our basic rights, and limits their authority concerning those rights. Like the right to free speech, they try to bind us now to a policy of not speaking anything that might offend anyone, a hard thing to do with over 350 million people. How about illegal searches and seizures? Making Verizon turn over metadata which though it doesn’t name the persons can be used through other data collected to identify the persons. How about the IRS collecting data from the social sites? How about the seizure of files and records from the Associated Press. These type things make alarms go off in my head that say something is wrong here. The government was meant to care for the needs of the people such as infrastructure, which by the way is rotting away as we speak. Fire protection, police protection(haha), and things to make us secure in our liberties, not to control them. WE THE PEOPLE are the government, they bend to our will not vice versa. To think otherwise denigrates the intentions of our founders, and the framers of the Constitution, and spits on the graves of those who forfeited their lives in gaining our liberties and those who have protected them for 238 years. That is the foundation of this country. We threw of the chains of despotism in the Revolution, and we will not abide being bound up in them again.

          • Don 2

So, Hockey Puck, you think that Canadians bringing home one-third of their paycheck is a good trade-off for your national healthcare policy, eh?

          • Robbie

OMG totally. I recently needed emergency heart surgery in the middle of the night and spent 5 days in hospital and various follow up visits and tests etc., etc.. In an American hospital my costs would have been at least $250,000. My cost here was $40 for the ambulance ride! I could have spent another $8 a day for a T.V. but decided I’d use the time to catch up on my reading.

A close friend of mine in New York pays something like $28,000 a year for private insurance and when his wife came down with breast cancer two years ago his insurance company came up with a reason to avoid covering him. And this guy still insists the American way is better! Funny stuff I must say.

          • Don 2

Well Hockey Puck, my cost for the same surgery would be $20.00, and I’m not losing two-thirds of my paycheck to pay for social programs.

          • Robbie

Wow, just $20?!? You have a really cut rate hospital and doctor. How much of that twenty did the doctor get? About $5 perhaps? That would leave $15 for the hospital. Can you share the name of the hospital? I’m sure other Americans would love to check in ther when they have medical problems. Thanks ever so much. R

          • Don 2

Hockey Puck, did you ever hear of co-pay?

          • Don 2

You don’t know much about anything Hockey Puck!

          • Robbie

Good comment Don. Very informative and certainly thought provoking. I think your reference to a hockey puck shows us a depth of knowledge that is hard to challenge. Way to go Baseball Mitt! (Maybe you can make an intelligent retort next time).

That’s right Hockey Puck. If it weren’t for hockey, you wouldn’t have a life. Apparently, if it is not a pro-Liberal/Progressive/Socialist agenda, you have no Canadian websites of which to discuss a different point of view.

          • Robbie

You know that’s an interesting point. I’m sure such sites exist but I’ve never sought them out. Fact is while our political parties offer a wider left-right series of political choices than do the Dems. & GOP we generally don’t get as hot under the collar as Americans do. We have short election campaigns where policies are presented and then we vote after which things move along fairly smoothly. We are not in a heated election mode all the freakin’ time.

          • Don 2

That’s because you are use to being a socialist society ruled by your masters.

          • Robbie

We are every bit as democratic as the U.S. I’m getting the feeling that you don’t actually know much about Canada.

          • Don 2

So says the “Queens Law” eh?

          • Robbie

If you want to call it that sure.

      • WTS/JAY

Robbie: Could it be that part of your problem is that the President is black and deep down inside you get nervous about that?

No, the problem i have with the so-called president is that he is an Islamic-Extremist!

        • Robbie

If you actually and really think that then the problem is one of paranoia and/or lack of information. An Islamic extremist? Are you nuts?

          • WTS/JAY

Yes, an “Islamic-extremist”!!! What else do you call someone who supplies arms to the Muslim-Brotherhood, a moderate? You are either completely ignorant, or a lying sack of you know what. And i doubt very much anyone can be that ignorant!

          • Robbie

You may or may not realize that U.S. foreign aid to Egypt has been going on since the 1950’s and has been done by both Republican and Democrat presidents. This is nothing new. In fact “foreign aid” is actually a euphemism for a bribe and a massive one at that each and every year. I have heard the figure of a billion dollars a year which is probably correct. Basically we have been paying off whichever dictator it is to not attack Israel. And it has worked for the most part. Again all Republican and Democrat presidents have done this and it’s probably not a bad investment overall.

Foreign affairs is a complicated matter and often involves unsavory characters at best. For the most part presidents try to keep the loonies from going totally nuts and Obama is following the lead of earlier presidents. He’s doing a good job of it too. And, I’d like to add that you calling me names is not the most impressive way of expressing yourself. At least I hope it is not.

          • Don 2

“We” have been paying off whichever dictator it is to not attack Israel.
            Who’s “we” Hockey Puck?

          • Robbie

I suggest you reread my comments and try to come up with an intelligent retort if you disagree with me.

          • Don 2

O.K., Hockey Puck, I have reread your comments. The question remains the same. Who is this “we” that you speak of?

          • Robbie

America and her allies – basically the West as it is called.

          • Don 2

So, Hockey Puck, what you really meant to say, was America, the same country with the strong military, a military made strong by the same GOP you love to trash, that keeps Canada free.

      • http://cowboybyte.com/ Alondra

¿Robbie from Canada, are you RACIST?

        • Robbie

Nope. Not in the least. But thanks for asking.

          • Don 2

Vive le Quebec Libre, eh Hockey Puck!

    • Jeff

But I’ll bet you didn’t feel the same way about that Little Drug Store Cowboy with the flight suit, did you? After all, he had the right combination of complexion, family background, and stupidity. He felt kind of like kin, didn’t he? And Obama just wouldn’t fit in at your family barbecues, would he? The way he speaks in complete sentences and knows how to use a knife and fork. And the way he doesn’t wait for Uncle Dick Cheney to growl, then saying, “Yeah, what he said.”

Yes, he’s an intellectual. He tries to fully comprehend a situation rather than reacting “from the gut.” If you like your Presidents idiotic, vote Republican.

      • WTS/JAY

Jeff: Yes, he’s an intellectual. He tries to fully comprehend a situation rather than reacting “from the gut.”

Yes, an intellectual who speaks “from the gut”. No doubt about it! Btw, are you speaking of Obama, or Obama’s trusty “teleprompter”?

  • Don Berry

For all you “patriots” out there, who like to wave your constitutional rights at anyone you disagree with: we are not, and have never been, a “Christian nation”. Christianity has been the dominant religion, but there has always been tolerance for others, as REQUIRED by the constitution: http://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/First_amendment The one thing that has been defined: separation of church and state. Freedom to believe…whatever you believe, or not. Funny how the right wing is always so “up” on the 2nd amendment, and has such a problem comprehending the 1st amendment.

BTW, Obama is not Muslim. That’s another “fact” pulled out of somebody’s backside, hatched by the conspiracy theorists that can’t accept the fact that a black man was legally elected president, despite their best efforts.

    • A. Bencivenga, MD, Ph D

So where would the problem be if Obama was a Muslim?

      • chocopot

Try reading a little about Islam’s 1,400 years of existence. It is a story of murder, death, and destruction. It is a narrative of hate and intolerance. It is a tale of rape, theft, and slavery. Shall I go on?

        • Don Berry

You can if you want, I would say the same thing about Catholicism. And this is from someone who was born & raised a Catholic. The hypocracy is simply astounding.

          • chocopot

I will not attempt to defend Christianity from its less than sparkling history (my own people have been on the short end of Christianity’s ‘excesses’ over the centuries). However, those who killed in the name of Christianity were using a perverted and warped interpretation of Christianity to justify their actions. Islam, on the other hand, has as its holy book the Koran, a book filled with guidance and instruction to kill and to destroy anyone not like them until the entire world is under Islam (their words, not mine). The 1,400 years of murder and mayhem committed in the name of Islam were done by the faithful followers of that so-called religion, which is little more than a cult of hate, leaving death and destruction in its wake. Finally, the number of those murdered in the name of Christianity pales to near nothingness when compared to the number of those murdered in the name of Islam. At least the Christians have stopped the hate and the murder – the Muslims have not and never will since their holy book instructs them to do precisely that. The Christians who murder are misinterpreting their religion; the Muslims who murder are following their religion’s guidance to the letter. Try reading some history books and do some research on your own.

          • Nadzieja Batki

chocopot, Don Berry has you cornered and you won’t get out of that corner unscathed. Roman Catholicism is not Christianity and never has been from its inception, it is plain old Paganism or whatever the Sumarians, Mesopotamians, Greeks, Romans, or what nots, etc., gathered in their religious fervor across time. Islam is compatible with Roman Catholicism in that it also gathered bits and pieces of Paganism plus bits and pieces from nations that it marauded across.

          • chocopot

Your point is well taken, but I am using the umbrella term “Christianity” to include all of the various sects that have existed over the centuries, just as while Islam has various sects, I include all of them under the one umbrella term of “Islam.”
In addition, Don Berry is cleary a case of the indoctrinated, brainwashed Leftist, which means he has no knowledge of history (except for the lies and fabrications he learned in school and from the media)and little knowledge of any other facts. He cannot win an argument with me.

          • real talk 1

          • Nadzieja Batki

But the United States is not a Roman Catholic Nation, so your comment is worthless. You don’t like Roman Catholicism then give it up because nothing untoward is going to happen to you except that your family may disown you but if that is the case you never had a family.

          • Doc Sarvis

            Very good point.

          • Don 2

Not really, more like very ignorant.

          • Don 2

Well Don Berry, it sounds as though you may have left the Catholic faith. I would suggest that you not try becoming a Muslim, because death is the sentence for apostasy, leaving Islam.

        • real talk 1

Enough said all one have to do is see who was blessed who was and still is worshiping the false prophet but we allowed that so called religion to come to America and build institutions and flourish and demand their way of life , America We Can Not And Will NOT Stand . There used to be a saying in America you don’t here it any more BUY AMERICAN.

        • Jeff

You are wrong. The Muslim World was, at one time, both more advanced and more tolerant than was the Western World. Until just a couple of hundred years ago, Jews living in Muslim lands fared better than those living in Christian lands. Clearly that has changed, but it didn’t change because of something immutable in Muslims or in Islam. The question is why the change for the worse in the Muslim World and what can we do to encourage the moderate majority to stand up to the thugs? Simply posting nonsense about how evil all Muslims are makes about as much sense as a discussion of the “merits” of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

There is plenty of darkness in Western, particularly Christian, history as well. Generally, the Spanish Inquisition and the Crusades do not figure prominently in most people’s idea of the highlights of human history.

          • chocopot

If you think i am wrong and you are right, you must be reading too much Howard Zinn. Try again and read some REAL history books, those that deal in facts.
The only part of what you wrote that is correct and factual is the part about how, for a period of a few centuries, the Muslim world was more advanced than the West. That was relatively early on when the West had still not progressed its way back from the Fall of Rome, which took several hundred years. And a large part of the reason for that was that the leaders of Islam at that time were wise enough to adopt the more advanced aspects of the nations and cultures they had conquered; they did not become advanced on their own. The rest of your post is left-wing revisionism.

          • Bob666

            Yo Jeff,
Most of you comments are correct. During the crusades, many of those Christian soldiers killed as many Jews as they did Muslims.

          • WTS/JAY

            Oh boy, another ignoramus pipes-up!

          • Bob666

            Well Jay,
Perhaps you would like to prove his comments are factually wrong? Real facts, not from some wacko ultra right wing web site.

Oh yea, when they disagree with you-they resort to name calling?

            Thanks for proving my point.

          • WTS/JAY

Refer to my above response, Professor!

          • Bob666

I Already did and you continue to prove my point.

          • WTS/JAY

You have no point, and that’s my point!

          • WTS/JAY

Bob666: During the crusades, many of those Christian soldiers killed as many Jews as they did Muslims.

Many of those Christians? Are you suggesting that by that, your ignorant-comment, you deem yourself fit to argue the facts, 666? Yet you claim you know real Christians. Which would preclude that you know something of Christianity, and of the history of Christianity. If that is so, how is it, then, that you posit such an ignorant statement, “During the crusades, many of those Christian soldiers killed as many Jews as they did Muslims”? The Roman-Catholic Church was/is anything but, Christian! How is it you are not aware of this simple fact? Still want to argue the facts, 666?

          • WTS/JAY

Jeff: You are wrong. The Muslim World was, at one time, both more advanced and more tolerant than was the Western World. Until just a couple of hundred years ago, Jews living in Muslim lands fared better than those living in Christian lands.

Nonsense! Btw, are you related to rbrooks?

          • Jeff

Such an intelligent response. Would you characterize that as a fart or a belch? I’m sure it didn’t involve the use of any grey matter.

          • WTS/JAY

Jeff: Such an intelligent response. Would you characterize that as a fart or a belch? I’m sure it didn’t involve the use of any grey matter.

            Speaking of belching and farting,

Jeff: The Muslim World was, at one time, both more advanced and more tolerant than was the Western World. Until just a couple of hundred years ago, Jews living in Muslim lands fared better than those living in Christian lands.

I tend to agree with your question. I don’t like anything that he’s doing, but I care less if he is Christian or Muslim. I do care; however, that he is not even a US Citizen.

      • Don 2

Islam is incompatible with the U.S. Constitution.

        • Doc Sarvis

Then so is Christianity or any other faith.

          • Don 2

            Really, why is that?

      • Don 2

The Sharia is the law of Islam that is based upon the Koran, the Hadith and the Sira. It is the political aim of Islam to replace all legal codes and constitutions(which are man-made) with the Sharia, which comes from Allah.

        • Bob666

          Don,
I am not sure that you understood the the question.

          • Don 2

            Go back to sleep Bob.

          • Bob666

Go back and read the question again, maybe a cup of coffee would make you more alert?

          • Don 2

Question: So where would the problem be if Obama was a Muslim?

Response: The Sharia is the law of Islam that is based upon the Koran, the Hadith and the Sira. It is the political aim of Islam to replace all legal codes and constitutions(which are man-made) with the Sharia, which comes from Allah.

The problem with a Muslim president is that he is a follower of Islam, which aims to replace all legal codes and constitutions. You may have heard Bob, we have a U.S. Constitution. You may have also noticed that Obama doesn’t like it, and along with the help of Eric Holder, he is trying his best to destroy it.

Now, Bob, you can go back to taking your nap.

          • Jana

And, allah is a FALSE god and Islam is a false religion, made by man for man.

          • Bob666

            Well Don,

As usual, a response from you that comes a tad bit short of reality, like a mile or so.

I have know men and women of all faiths that are honorable and honest people, this includes Muslims.

Two flaws to your response that blow you right out of the water. First, I did not vote for Obama and if he evaporated today, I do not believe the world would end.

But to address your comments, I don’t believe that he is a Muslim and the problems that I have with President Obama do not center around his faith, what ever it might be.

Finally, If I have respect and confidence in a man or woman based on their character & abilities, their religious orientation has very little bearing on my support. That being said, there was little about Romney that I liked or respected, but had there been a spark of interest in him, I could have found a way to deal with his faith and I must admit that I can’t get my arms around the Mormon faith.

“The problem with a Muslim president is that he is a follower of Islam, which aims to replace all legal codes and constitutions”

As far as that comment goes, your nuts -no two ways about it and yes, I have read the U.S. Constitution several times and have been a strong supporter of it.

          • Don 2

            Bob,

There are no flaws with my response. First of all, no one was asking who you voted for. Second, no one cares, or even asked, if you believe Obama is a Muslim, and clearly, you do not understand the conflict between the U.S. Constitution and Islam. Thirdly, Bob, take a real wild guess where the statement, “It is the political aim of Islam to replace all legal codes and constitutions(which are man-made) with the Sharia, which comes from Allah” comes from? Go ahead Bob, give that one your best shot!

          • Bob666

            Well Don,
            Why?
You buy into the fringe belief that Obama is a Muslim. There is noting that I am going to say that is going to change your mind about that.

You have on several occasions been very prolific in stating that theory. It would also appear that you do not like Muslims as well and tend to lump the entire group of one religion together as if that many people in any group could be that unified in exactly the same multiple core beliefs.

So exactly what shot is it that you wanted me to take??

          • Don 2

Give it up Bob, you ain’t got a clue what you’re dealing with!

It’s not fringe Bob, it’s mainstream.

Obama stated that he is a Muslim. I saw and I heard him say it. That’s what you call fringe Bob?

Listen-up Bob! From The Hadith: “Jihad is an obligation, not a recommendation. Allah demands jihad, now and forever, from all Muslims in all places and for all times.”

          • Bob666

            OK Don,

It appears that you need some attention today.

“Give it up Bob, you ain’t got a clue what you’re dealing with! It’s not fringe Bob, it’s mainstream”.

Perhaps you could point the source of your information????

    • chocopot

You are so wrong about most of what you stated. However, I intend to focus on only one thing: “The one thing that has been defined: separation of church and state.” Wrong. The First Amendment states, in part: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” To translate that clause for those who have reading comprehension issues (like you), it states that there shall be no official religion established in this country, but in no way does it remove or separate religion from the state (the government). We are and have always been a Christian nation, founded on Christian principles and beliefs. I, for one, like it that way (and I am a Jew) since it has allowed us to become the greatest nation ever to have existed – until the self-anointed elitists of the Left (the so-called Progressives, who are really Regressives) came along and decided to work on sending us back to the days of feudalism.

      • leroy

The Constitution reads “separation of church and state”. That is to be taken literally. It does not state separation of religion, or religious beliefs, and state. Look up the meaning of “church” and “religion” and you will discover one means a building or organization and the other is a belief. The framers of the Constitution did not want any CHURCH organization taking over the government, but allowed for religious moral beliefs to be the guiding principles for running the government. The ACLU and liberals have stretched the phrase to incorporate religion as being a church. It is ironic that the Supreme court justices (and liberals) has/have fallen into the false belief that church and religion are one and the same. Do people really believe that hypocrisy was in play when the framers allowed “In God we trust” be put on our currency and the Ten Commandments be plastered all over government buildings and all laws be based on those Commandments?
There is a big difference, but unfortunately, most people have been led to believe the term church and religion have the same meanings.

        • chocopot

While I agree with all that you have stated, I am all but certain the phrase “separation of church and state” is not to be found anywhere in the Constitution.

          • leroy

Chocopot….You are correct … it is not in the Constitution. It is actually a reference to a letter written by Jefferson when the 1st amendment was established. The phrase does appear in that letter and is generally accepted as being a apart of the amendment. It has been referenced by the Supreme Court justices many times in deciding cases before it. Jefferson stated that no laws should be passed establishing an official religion for the country. However, it is very tough to refute that Christian beliefs & influence were not the basis for establishing the Constitution and its amendments.

        • http://personalliberty.com/ Bob Livingston

          Dear leroy,

You write: “The Constitution reads “separation of church and state”. Please cite for me the entire passage containing that phrase.

You write: “Look up the meaning of “church” and “religion” and you will discover one means a building or organization and the other is a belief.” While the word church is defined secularly as a building, Scripturally it is defined as Christ’s body, ie., believers or Christians. You will not find a New Testament example of the word “church” being used as a building.

You write: ” Do people really believe that hypocrisy was in play when the framers allowed “In God we trust” be put on our currency and the Ten Commandments be plastered all over government buildings…” That phrase did not appear on currency until 1864. I am not aware of any building in which “the framers allowed” the 10 Commandment to be plastered.

That being said, Courts have consistently emphasized one portion of the 1st Amendment (respecting an establishment) while de-emphasizing another (or prohibiting the free exercise thereof) and ignoring entirely the opening (Congress shall make no law) in making its erroneous and unConstitutional rulings regarding religion and its practice in America and its affect on government.

          Best wishes,
          Bob

You need both love of country and faith in God to be a patriot.
“History will also afford frequent opportunities of showing the necessity of a public religion and the excellence of the Christian religion above all others, ancient or modern.”
            Benjamin Franklin

          • Jeff

All sentient beings are aware that “the Constitution” means more than just the document itself. There are decisions that are bedrock in law as if they were written into the Constitution. For example, Marbury v. Madison.

Clearly, the framers of the 1st Amendment did not want the Government (only the feds at the time) establishing a national religion. The U.S. Constitution did not prevent states from establishing their own religions, but most, if not all, had their own Constitutions with similar provisions.

Now, our understanding of “establishment of religion” may be different from that of the founders. They may have had in mind jailing or killing people for attending the wrong Church, but the Government can establish a religion without such brute force. Giving public money to a religious institution for its religious purposes has been determined to violate the 1st Amendment.

Whether the framers intended the 1st Amendment to mean nothing more than not favoring Episcopalians over Methodists is not too relevant today. We have centuries of history including non-Christians, so for people to now argue we are a Christian Nation as we may have been in 1790 is as dated an idea as it would be to grant governmental power to religious ministers.

          • http://personalliberty.com/ Bob Livingston

            Dear Jeff,

You write: “Clearly, the framers of the 1st Amendment did not want the Government (only the feds at the time) establishing a national religion. The U.S. Constitution did not prevent states from establishing their own religions, but most, if not all, had their own Constitutions with similar provisions.” True. And it’s most, not all.

You write: “Now, our understanding of “establishment of religion” may be different from that of the founders.” Yours may be. If that’s the case, your understanding is flawed, incorrect and therefore unconstitutional.

You write: “Whether the framers intended the 1st Amendment to mean nothing more than not favoring Episcopalians over Methodists is not too relevant today.” Au contraire. “On every question of construction carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text or invented against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed.” –Thomas Jefferson

You write: “We have centuries of history including non-Christians, so for people to now argue we are a Christian Nation as we may have been in 1790 is as dated an idea as it would be to grant governmental power to religious ministers.” Non sequitur.

            Best wishes,
            Bob

          • JeffH

            Bob, well stated.

I’d like to add something that irritates Jeff’s craw but important to what the framer’s intended when they created The Constitution and the presidential ineligabilty of BH Obama.

Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution sets forth the eligibility requirements for serving as president of the United States:“No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

Minor v. Happersett , 88 U.S. 162 (1875) – The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in that year, wrote the majority opinion, in which he stated:

The Constitution does not in words say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. Some authorities go further and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction without reference to the citizenship of their parents.

“It should be noted, that to define a term is to indicate the category or class of things which it signifies. In this sense, the Supreme Court of the United States has never applied the term “natural born citizen” to any other category than “those born in the country of parents who are citizens thereof”.

Hence every U.S. Citizen must accept this definition or categorical designation, and fulfil his constitutional duties accordingly. No member of Congress, no judge of the Federal Judiciary, no elected or appointed official in Federal or State government has the right to use any other definition; and if he does, he is acting unlawfully, because unconstitutionally.

      • Gary

Well said. I was going to reply on the “separation of church and state” comment, but you beat me to it. I am so tired of hearing that misinterpretation of the 1st amendment.

      • KENYAN KRUSHER

EXCELLENTE…..it was never meant to be that God, or Spirituality was never meant to be heard in the public square, or mentioned as to what informs one’s opinions, etc….We have become GODLESS as nation led by this dark soul & the secular progressives…That is Obummer’s REAL RELIGION!!

      • Jeff

The “wall of separation” mentioned by Jefferson is another way of stating the Government should not be in the business of establishing religion. If tax money goes to a private Christian school teaching religion is that not the “establishment” of religion? If a school in a town of all Southern Baptists teaches that Baptism is the only true religion, that Catholics are going to H*ll and that Jews have horns, is that proper subject matter in a public school? We’ve been hearing for 50 years how God is not allowed in schools. I don’t believe any student has ever gotten in trouble for praying privately. Why does the school need to make prayer a public matter, thereby forcing the minority kids (the Jews, for example) to publicly opt out, opening them to public ridicule?

        • chocopot

What are you talking about? The federal government does not fund any specific schools. The Department of Education gives out grants to the states, which then spend the money as they see fit or to meet federal rules and requirements. If a state gives money to a private school, it should not be doing so unless that is to help the students academically. So what is your point?
As for the rest of your post, I am lost on your point. There is nothing wrong with having a moment of silence for students to say a prayer. No one is being forced to pray at that time. No student ever got into trouble for standing silently in respect while others prayed. How is having a moment for silent reflection (or prayer) establishing religion (ANY religion) and how would that offend anyone? What are you talking about?

          • Jeff

Obviously the government doesn’t do that because of the doctrine of “separation of Church and State.” Without that doctrine, there would be such funding and “forced” prayers.

Well, that explains it. I don’t know how it works in your “classroom” but generally, when you say someone is wrong, you follow up with a reasoned explanation of why the statement is wrong. • WTS/JAY

So what? What good is all that, and how will all those prestigious titles and positions benefit someone who is completely incompetent as is Obama? Pray-tell, simpleton.

        • Robbie

          Pray tell? O.K.

Fact is the American people have decided in at least 4 elections that President Obama IS VERY COMPETENT. Now it may be that you do not agree with the American system that provides for the citizenry to select their leaders as ordained by the Constitution of the United States of America but then you have the freedom to move to some other country where they have another way of selecting leaders.

          • WTS/JAY

Robbie: Fact is the American people have decided in at least 4 elections that President Obama IS VERY COMPETENT.

What American people are you referring to, Robbie?

The 47% on food-stamps and welfare who wouldn’t dare bite the hand that steals from the hard-working and gives to a guaranteed voting-block in exchange for votes? And, in addition to that, a considerable number of illegals who can barely speak English, much less, are capable of providing a working-definition of the word competence? And to complete the total, progressive-radical-leftists, enemies of the State, who aid and abet the radical-muslim in office, and claim are champions of freedom, yet would love nothing more then burn the Constitution; the very same document that affords them the freedoms they claim to enjoy? How then, could such a motley, and incompetent-crew of miss-fits even begin to vote in favour of someone competent, much less recognize who is, competent, when in their view? The fact that they voted for the most incompetent person imaginable, is more then enough proof of their incompetence, wouldn’t you agree?

          • Robbie

Sounds like you don’t much like the American democratic system. Sounds like you would like to reduce voting rights to large numbers of American citizens. Of course you’ll have to change the Constitution of the United States of America to accomplish those goals. Oh, wait a moment, you also believe that the Constitution is holy grail. Boy have you ever got a problem!

          • WTS/JAY

Since you seem to be so well versed in the Constitution, Robbie, would you mind providing the incompetent-president with a few lessons? For it appears that the head of the Taliban posing as our president has never actually read the Constitution!

          • Robbie

He was hired by the University of Chicago to teach Constitutional law so I’d say he knows a lot about it. Probably more than you do.

          • WTS/JAY

Well, for someone who supposedly taught…? Constitutional-law, do you have any idea, Robbie, why he continuously violates it?

Now, in case you were too busy/pre-occupied watching the “hockey” and missed it, Obama’s most recent violation of the Constitution was by granting pay-raises to the Vice-President and members of Congress, and that, by “executive-order”. Are you aware of this, Robbie?

Now technically, you could argue that it wasn’t really a pay-raise, but just the lifting of a “pay-freeze” that had been in place on “federal-employee” wages. But that argument fails to address the real issue here, Robbie.

What does the Constitution say regarding the compensation of members of Congress and the other branches of government, Robbie? Any idea? What’s that, Robbie? You have no idea what the Constitution says regarding the compensation of members of Congress and the other government?

That’s okay, Robbie, no problem. I’ll be more then happy to assist you. The only thing i ask is that you turn off the Hockey-game for a minute and pay close attention! Ready?

Article I Section 6 states; “The Senators and Representatives shall receive a Compensation for their Services, to be ascertained by Law, and paid out of the Treasury of the United States.” Furthermore, Section 9 goes on to state that “No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury but in Consequences of Appropriations made by Law.” Finally, the 27th Amendment states that “No law, varying the compensation for the services of the Senators and Representatives, shall take effect, until an election of Representatives shall have intervened.”

Did you notice anything, Robbie? “Compensation” is to be paid out of the Treasury in accordance to LAW!

What is law, Robbie? Is it not the result of legislative-action? And, signed into effect by the executive and upheld by the judiciary? Still with me, Robbie? Or are you at this point thinking to yourself; “Yeah well, i really don’t get it, so what is it that Obama did that was so wrong, again”? duh…!

Well, i’m glad you asked, dumb dumb. For in so doing, Obama has basically “assumed” the “responsibility” of that which belongs exclusively to the “legislature”…for when he lifted the ban, and authorized funds from the Treasury for the purpose of additional compensation, he in essence assumed the role of a “legislator”. Thus, overstepping his bounds as President. Still with me, Robbie?

And, by overstepping his bounds and assuming the role of a legislator, a role for which he was not elected to perform, not only did Obama show his utter contempt for the Constitution, or perhaps confusion? As well, it revealed that he, in fact, fancies himself; a tyrant, and a dictator…? Did you get that, Robbie?

Btw, did you ever hear Obama state; “where Congress is not willing to act, we’re going to go ahead and do it anyways”? Perhaps you were too preoccupied with the hockey-game, and missed it?

Ok dumb dumb, now you can go back to your Hockey-game…he shoots, he SCOOOORES!!!

          • Robbie

Actually I think I must have been in the locker room doing up my skates. I hate those laces and how they can cut in to your fingers when you tighten them.

Maybe instead of tossing around so-called insults you can answer my question. You made a charge against the President but refuse to give the information requested. Probably that means your charge has some flaws. And, by the way, ina debate or discussion when someone has nothing to say other than swearing and insults it means they have nothing to say at all.

So I’ll ask again. When was it exactly when Obama supposedly gave an unconstitutional pay raise to Congress and the VP? You made the charge so I’m sure you can supply the evidence.

          • WTS/JAY

Ever heard of Google, you lazy-slug?

          • Robbie

So yet again you fail to back up your charge against the President. Maybe it’s you who is the “lazy slug”. I don’t need to do your research especially when I think your charge is baseless in the first place. The fact that you cannot back it up proves it baseless.

But look, we see plenty of folks like yourself who have made a career out of attacking the smart black guy who is the President of the United States of America. He keeps getting elected to office and you folks keep steaming away. And the neat thing is that the Republican Party seems not to have learned one darn thing from their defeats. They are going to run more yahoos next time and Hilary or Biden will occupy the White House next. I see a lot more steaming for you ahead. In fact this could go on for decades. It was Republican Bobby Jimbal who – after the last election – called his own GOP the “stupid party” and he was, at least, honest and correct.

You are simply wrong. Read the case carefully and see if the Court ever holds that in order for a person to be a natural born citizen, both parents must be citizens at the time of birth. It does not because the case was not about that issue. It was about the right of a woman to vote. In an aside (obiter dictum), the court said of course she was a citizen because both her parents were citizens. First, the court didn’t say it was necessary that both parents be citizens. Secondly, that issue was not before the Court.

Here’s an example of the reasoning you and JeffH can’t seem to fathom. If both your parents are Jewish, you certainly are Jewish at birth, but must both parents be Jewish for that to be true? Most would say no, only the mother need be Jewish. Now, this has no bearing except as an example of logical analysis.

What if the Court had said of course she’s a citizen. Both sets of grandparents were born here. Would that then be the standard for a “natural born citizen”? No, it would not. There has never been a case derfining the term “natural born citizen.” Speak to any Constitutional lawyer who is not a wingnut and he’ll tell you the same thing.

          • http://batman-news.com samurai

This would be impossible, due to a woman not having the right to vote for anotherf 45 years. What I’ve posted is true and you have no sources to prove me wrong. You never will either.

            4. U.S. vs. Wong Kim Ark – 1898
These cases all say “…of 2 parents who are citizens…”, so what can you say to try to distort these facts? I know they are not about a woman wanting to vote. How about this factual source?

          • Jeff

I don’t need to PROVE you wrong, but you are. You have obviously not read the case because a woman’s right to vote was the issue in that case:

The Supreme Court unanimously upheld the Missouri voting legislation, saying that voting was not an inherent right of citizenship, that the Constitution neither granted nor forbade voting rights for women, and that allowing only male citizens to vote was not an infringement of Minor’s rights under the Fourteenth Amendment.[11]

The opinion (written by Chief Justice Morrison Waite) first asked whether Minor was a citizen of the United States, and answered that she was, citing both the Fourteenth Amendment and earlier common law. Exploring the common-law origins of citizenship, the court observed that “new citizens may be born or they may be created by naturalization” and that the Constitution “does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens.” Under the common law, according to the court, “it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.”[12] The court observed that some authorities “include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction without reference to the citizenship of their parents”—but since Minor was born in the United States and her parents were U.S. citizens, she was unquestionably a citizen herself, even under the narrowest possible definition, and the court thus noted that the subject did not need to be explored in any greater depth.[13]

The court then asked whether the right to vote was one of the “privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States” at the time of the Fourteenth Amendment’s adoption in 1868. Citing a variety of historical sources, it found that it was not.[14] The court reasoned that the Constitution of the United States did not explicitly give citizens an affirmative right to vote and that, throughout the history of the nation from the adoption of the Constitution, a wide variety of persons—including women—were recognized as citizens but denied the right to vote. For example, at the time of the adoption of the Constitution, none of the original Thirteen Colonies gave all citizens the right to vote, all attaching restrictions based on factors such as sex, race, age, and ownership of land. The opinion continues that “it cannot for a moment be doubted that if it had been intended to make all citizens of the United States voters, the framers of the Constitution would not have left it to implication. So important a change in the condition of citizenship as it actually existed, if intended, would have been expressly declared.”[15]

…as evidenced in his Marxist “community organizing” roots.

Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals – Opening page – Dedication
“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history… the
first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”

“Obama learned his lesson well. I am proud to see that my father’s model for organizing is being applied successfully beyond local community organizing to affect the Democratic campaign in 2008. It is a fine tribute to Saul Alinsky as we approach his 100th birthday.” –Letter from L. DAVID ALINSKY, son of Neo-Marxist Saul Alinsky

Obama helped fund ‘Alinsky Academy': “The Woods Fund, a
nonprofit on which Obama served as paid director from 1999 to December 2002, provided startup funding and later capital to the Midwest Academy…. Obama sat on the Woods Fund board alongside William Ayers, founder of the Weather Underground domestic terrorist
organization…. ‘Midwest describes itself as ‘one of the nation’s oldest and best-known schools for community organizations, citizen organizations and individuals committed to progressive social change.’… Midwest teaches Alinsky tactics of community organizing.”

“Obama is also an Alinskyite…. Obama spent years teaching
workshops on the Alinsky method. In 1985 he began a four-year stint as a community organizer in Chicago, working for an Alinskyite group called the Developing Communities Project…. Camouflage is key to Alinsky-style organizing. While trying to build coalitions of black churches in Chicago, Obama caught flak for not attending church himself. He became an instant churchgoer.”

John, you know I don’t agree with you on a lot of subjects, but on this, you are 100% correct buddy!
i-slam is the most vile, satanic, evil, barbaric, violent, intolerant ideology known to man. Its absolute imperatives to ALL muslims, NOT just radicals, but ALL muslims, are to utterly destroy all Jews, Christians and infidels who refuse to convert to i-slam.
They use the term dhimmi, or ‘useful idiot’ to describe the President and all who would support their cause as well-meaning tools who want harmony and peace. But make no mistake, i-slam does NOT want peace! i-slam wants only to dominate and bring in sharia law. Friends of ours have spent considerable time in a muslim area of Malaysia, and have recounted the following as verified FACTS:

New-born babies thrown into the garbage if they are female.
New-born babies also left in mosques to be raised by the imams, for their own pedophile sexual pleasure and abuse, then to be killed when they’ve grown too old to be interesting.

    Minorities persecuted beyond belief.

Girls who are raped being killed because of their ‘shame’, while the perps get off scot free!

Slavery for all who are not muslim and some who are.

This ideology is evil. It is utterly and completely satanic.

For any who care to challenge this, I declare:

This is NOT racist. Many races and nationalities embrace this evil ideology, mostly because they are born into it and know no better.

It is NOT religiously bigoted, because i-slam is a socio-economic-political ideology centered in a 7th century religious frontage based on the ‘teachings’ of a pedophile ‘prophet’ despot whose blood lust is un-parallelled, even by Hitler and Stalin!

The more pious a muslim becomes, the more radical an islamist and jihadist he becomes.
This is FACT, not conjecture or hearsay.
    Verified FACT!

According to the Center for the Study of Political Islam: Islam fought 548 battles against the world (based on the ancient historic documents): Archeology beneath the Mediterranean & Archeology on land

The religion of “peace”: 548 battles, 19,000+ jihad attacks; islam preaches violence.

During 1400 years islamists murdered millions in the name of their FAKE religión and have perpetrated ALL crimes in history in the name of their FAKE allah and the murderer, child molester, pedophile, rapist, thief, burglar, LIAR “prophet” mohammad.
Christians – 60 Million (including ~ 1.5 Million Turkish Armenians killed in jihad)

      Buddhists – 10 Millions
      Hindus – 80 Millions
      Africans+ – 120 Million
      Total: 270+ Million

The Doctrine of the religion of “peace” drives violence. The historical FACTS show the TRUE nature of Islam.

Islam was and is the enemy of ALL civilizations.
      islam is religion of satan.

Islam is the largest HATE group in WORLD.
Sharia violates EVERY PRINCIPLE of tolerance for all. It is an instrument of hate & slavery for all Muslims.

Here are just a few commands of the “prophet” muhammed for his followers from their ¨holy¨ book of “peace”:

“Slay the UNBELIEVERS wherever you find them.” Qur’an 2:191

“Make war on the INFIDELS living in your neighborhood.” Qur’an 9:123

“When opportunity arises, KILL the INFIDELS WHEREVER YOU CATCH THEM.” Qur’an 9:5

“Any religion other than Islam is NOT ACCEPTABLE.” Qur’an 3:85
“The Jews and the Christians are PERVERTS; FIGHT THEM.”… Qur’an 9:30

“Maim [Dismember, Disfigure, Harm, Mutilate] and CRUCIFY the INFIDELS IF THEY CRITICIZE ISLAM” Qur’an 5:33

“Punish THE UNBELIEVERS with garments of FIRE, HOOKED IRON RODS, BOILING WATER; MELT THEIR SKIN AND BELLIES.” Qur’an 22:19

“The UNBELIEVERS are stupid; URGE the Muslims to FIGHT THEM.” Qur’an 8:65

“Muslims must not take the INFIDELS as friends.” Qur’an 3:28

“TERRORIZE and BEHEAD those WHO BELIEVE IN SCRIPTURES OTHER THAN the Qur’an.” Qur’an 8:12

“Muslims must muster all weapons to TERRORIZE the INFIDELS.” Qur’an 8:60

“I [muhammed] shall cast TERROR into the hearts of the INFIDELS. STRIKE OFF THEIR HEADS, STRIKE OFF THE VERY TIPS OF THEIR FINGERS.” Qur’an 8:12

“Those that deny Our’an revelations We will BURN IN FIRE. No sooner will their skins be consumed than We shall give them other skins, so that they may truly taste the scourge. Allah is mighty and wise.” Qur’an 4:56

“MEN have authority over WOMEN because Allah has made the one SUPERIOR to the other, and because they spend their wealth to MAINTAIN THEM. Good WOMEN are OBEDIENT. They guard their unseen parts because Allah has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and FORSAKE THEM IN BEDS APART, and BEAT THEM.” Qur’an 4:34

        They are the true INFIDELS!!!!!

      • TML

All the Abrahamic religions “teach” hate and intolerance to other religions and non-believers.

Deuteronomy 13:6-10 “If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people.”

Deuteronomy 13:13-15 “Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known; Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you; Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword”.

Chronicles 15:13 “That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.”

        • WTS/JAY

Are you implying from your post that you are an advocate for Sharia-Law, TML?

Btw, i see you are very careful to cite from the Old-Testament, which is no longer observed by the Jews, and are very careful not to make any mention of the New-Testament, which is the creed of the Christians.

As well, is your citing of an excerpt from the Old-Testament law, your way of rationalizing or excusing Islamic-radicalism; in particular, Sharia-Law?

          • Guest

That would be quite a leap in logic to even ask if I’m advocating Sharia law. I guess you don’t remember our past discussions (I believe the last one we had concerned your insistence that Catholics were not really Christians).

You are exceedingly misinformed if you think the Torah is no longer meant to be practiced by Jews. And while, yes, the New Testament is technically the holy book of the Christian’s, it certainly hasn’t stopped them from using the Old Testament throughout the centuries when it serves their purpose, or even in the modern world today. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen self-proclaimed Christians refer to the verses of Torah to support their prejudice against gays.

I’m not sure how the things I have said can, or should, be construed as a rationalization, and certainly isn’t excusing the radicalism of any religious zealot – Muslim, Christian, and Jew alike. What I said was, ALL Abrahamic religions teach hate and intolerance in their text and traditions, and seen in their histories.

          • WTS/JAY

TML: I guess you don’t remember our past discussions (I believe the last one we had concerned your insistence that Catholics were not really Christians).

Yes, i do remember our past discussions, and in particular, the one where i insisted that Catholics were not, and still, are not, Christians!

TML: You are exceedingly misinformed if you think the Torah is no longer meant to be practiced by Jews.

You know damn well what i was referring to when i said the Jews no longer practise certain aspects of the Torah, TML.

TML: And while, yes, the New Testament is technically the holy book of the Christian’s, it certainly hasn’t stopped them from using the Old Testament throughout the centuries when it serves their purpose, or even in the modern world today.

To serve their purpose? Yours is a typical and uneducated observation from those outside the faith-orbit, and understandably so. I’m afraid that you have a rather anaemic-understanding of the Old and New-Testament and how they relate to one another. But i’m sure you’ll insist that you do know what your talking about. My cross to bear, i suppose, should i choose to continue with you in this discussion.

TML: I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen self-proclaimed Christians refer to the verses of Torah to support their prejudice against gays.

I disagree! I think that they refer to the verses of the Torah, not for for purpose to support their prejudice against gays, but for the purpose to support their prejudice against the vile-practice of homosexuality and how the practice has destroyed civilizations, as is evidenced by history!

TML: I’m not sure how the things I have said can, or should, be construed as a rationalization, and certainly isn’t excusing the radicalism of any religious zealot – Muslim, Christian, and Jew alike.

Except that Islam and the practise of Sharia-Law is State-Sanctioned in many high-profile Arab-countries. Meaning, that in those countries, it’s not just a few religious-zealots who practise in secret. Rather, it is a public-event, sanctioned and enforced by the State! Btw, refreshments are served while you are enjoying a beheading, or a stoning, or a hanging. For those not financially-constrained, VIP booths are also available…

TML: What I said was, ALL Abrahamic religions teach hate and intolerance in their text and traditions, and seen in their histories.

The only one that teaches hate at the present seems to be Islam. And btw, Islam was the focus, and the original topic on this thread.

          • TML

          You cited the OLD Testament.
¿How about the New Testament (Christianity)?

          • TML

Christian’s cite the Old Testament as well when it serves their purpose. When it doesn’t, they say things like what you and Jay are trying to say. Personally, I don’t have a problem with Christians who dismiss the Old Testament and remain exclusive to the adherance of their establishing books, however, if you and Jay truely remain exclusive in your aderance to the New Testament, then all I can do is point out that you do not represent most Christian’s. Considering I’ve even had long discussion with Jay trying to say Catholics aren’t really Christian, while you zealously defend Zionism or Jews (whose laws do encompase the Old Testament), it’s all rather subjective, and selective on your part, as you dance around the point.

“i-slam is the most vile, satanic, evil, barbaric, violent, intolerant ideology known to man. Its absolute imperatives to ALL muslims, NOT just radicals, but ALL muslims, are to utterly destroy all Jews, Christians and infidels who refuse to convert to i-slam.”

That is utterly incorrect. It is a modern distortion of reality in regards to what the religion teaches. A study of history will tell a different story. For example, during the Islamic occupation of Spain the Jews prospered alongside Muslims, as did Christian’s in cities such as Alhambra, until the Spanish inquisitions when Christianity took control, at such time the Jews left with the Muslims because they were the focus of the inquisition. Provided that there were major conflicts between religions throughout history, conducted aggression by all sides, a blanket stereotype of any group of people by labeling is foolish and ignorant.

There are good and decent Muslims just as there are good and decent Christians. Should we condemn Jews in Christians for following a religion that contains the same atrocities in the Bible as it does in the Quran? Ideas like yours are no better than the radical Muslim. To hate and condemn anyone who is part of a given religion for no other reason than being part of the religion, is the opposite of the principle of freedom on which this country was built.

“They use the term dhimmi, or ‘useful idiot’ to describe the President and all who would support their cause as well-meaning tools who want harmony and peace. But make no mistake, i-slam does NOT want peace! i-slam wants only to dominate and bring in sharia law.”

This isn’t much different than Christian missionaries and fundamentalists who tell you that you will burn in hell if you don’t believe what they believe.

“It is NOT religiously bigoted, because i-slam is a socio-economic-political ideology centered in a 7th century religious frontage based on the ‘teachings’ of a pedophile ‘prophet’ despot whose blood lust is un-parallelled, even by Hitler and Stalin!”

Islam is a religion that, like Christianity, is supposed to be followed in all aspect of one’s life, including social, economic, and politically. Furthermore, I believe it to be exceedingly unfair and down-right lacking intelligence to condemn a religious leader in the 7th century judging him by modern standards of morality. After all, one need only look into the Talmud and see where pedophilia was just as accepted by the Jewish rabbis and sages.

Sorry friend, but what you are saying is pure conjecture and not much fact.

      • Jana

TML you don’t know your facts!

Wrong is wrong no matter who steps in. Islam is a fake or false religion. It is alright if someone wants to follow it, but they are not satisfied with just following it. It is mandated for them to force YOU TML and the rest of us to follow it. Just like when Muhammad would kill and beat those that laughed at him who would not follow him when he declared himself a prophet.

The false prophet Muhammad started out as a robber and a thief. He had a gang of thieves that followed him. Then he started going into trances and started speaking supposedly great things. He said he was being visited by the Angel Gabriel. Those around him would find scraps of paper and write down what he babbled. Years later they gathered up all
of these scraps of paper and wrote them down, not in order, but in the order of the longest verses as they called them, to the shortest verses. This is why the Qur’an is not in any
        particular order.

Muhammad wanted the people of the villages to follow him and to think he was a great man of god but they laughed at him and scoffed at him. Muhammad started murdering these scoffers and beating them into submission. Has anything changed?

The Qur’an has a lot of the Old Testament in it, but like anything satanic, it has been perverted. Muhammad became delusional and decided that he represented god and then he decided that he was god’s avenger.

The ONE TRUE GOD YHVH needs no man to be His avenger. God is our judge, not man. He is quite capable of handling these things himself.

At the age of 52 Muhammad married Aishia who was either 6 or 8 years of age and he waited till she was 9 to consummate the marriage. Here we call that a pedophile or a dirty old man!

It is wrong for ANYONE to force their beliefs on someone else. Christian, Jew, Atheist or whatever.

        • TML

Well, that’s a perfect example of what I had said about judging someone in the 7th century by modern standards of morality.

It seems strange to make such comments when even today, you hear more about Catholic priests molesting young children than you hear of Muslims doing the same. And let’s not forget that pedophilia was perfectly acceptable to Jewish rabbis back in the day, as written in the Talmud – “A girl who is three years of age and one day may be betrothed by cohabitation” – Talmud, Yeb. 57b

You long rant against a religious leader in the 7th century seems more like an attempt to offend people on purpose than it does any genuine discourse of the objective facts.

          • Jana

            TML,
You have got to be kidding. You really don’t know what you are talking about.

The point was, that pedophilia isn’t exclusive to one religion, nor dependent upon religious belief. And as I pointed out, is condoned the same in Jewish tradition. So are all Jews bad people because of their ancient text? Of course not. The marrying of young girls was a common thing in those days such as the 7th century, and may still be in many countries around the world today. What I’m saying isn’t hard to understand if you remove your religious zeal and hate.

          • Jana

I have never heard of Jews taking young boys and using them. Yes, it is a custom to take younger girls in all religions, but never consummated but that is not the case with Muslims. Also the Muslims are known to mutilate their women’s genitilia. Just how many ‘religions’ do that?

Except, there’s a big difference between all other religions and Islam, TML. Islam is the only religion today that practises Sharia-Law. In case you are not aware, Sharia-Law permits/allows much more than just the practise of Pedophilia. Not only does Sharia-Law permit the practise of Pedophilia, as well, it demands the complete removal of a woman’s clitoris, allows and permits the stoning of a woman who was raped, it demands the execution by be-heading of one who criticizes or defects from Islam, ect…Tell us, TML, what other religion today practises Sharia-Law, besides Islam? Pray tell!

Here, TML, watch this video that will show what a Muslim women’s life is like under Sharia-Law. That’s if you have the stomach for it?

Sharia law is exclusive to Islam the same as Halakha is exclusive to Judaism. They are the respective laws of the religion, so of course; only one religion today practices “Sharia law”.

I’m well aware of what Sharia teaches. I have only pointed out that Jewish law, which includes Talmudic and Rabbinic law which permits the practice of pedophilia as well. As for mutilating women’s genitalia, that has been a practice that precedes the advent of Islam by many centuries. The practice is of course loathsome, being based on religious belief, but isn’t much different than circumcision that is still practiced by Christian and Jewish traditions in which the male genitalia are mutilated for the same kind of ridiculous reasons.

The penalty of stoning for what might be considered as adultery is actually not part of “Islamic” law, and there are no references to the punishment in any way in the Quran, which has led to a lack of consensus in the Islamic world as to the validity of such a law. While it is still on the books in many countries, it has rarely been carried out by the state, and never been carried out by the state in places like Pakistan, Iraq and others. Iran even announced that it would no longer practice stoning as a punishment in 2002 but was never officially removed from the books. Stoning is a barbaric form of punishment that was most notably taught by the Bible to Jews. And while Christian’s of course have the teaching of Christ which condemns the practice (Let him among you who is without sin cast the first stone) they still found other methods, such as burning at the stake, etc.

Not sure where you are trying to go with your comment, but one religion is just as bad as another when not checked by secular government, such as they are in America.

That is by far the most ignorant-statement you have ever posted. There is a vast difference between the two circumcisions. To suggest that male-circumcision is the same as female-circumcission, is to suggest that, as it relates to the male, that the head of the penis is removed in addition to the foreskin, thus ensuring the male will never enjoy sexual-pleasure for the rest of his life. That is precisely the intention and purpose behind female-circumcision.

Its also important to note that a male, with a standard circumcision barring no outside issues happening with the procedure, is able to maintain a normal sex life and orgasm normally. His ability to perform sexually is not affected by the loss of the foreskin. In fact, the American Academy of Pediatrics did a study in 1999 that actually stated that circumcised males tend to have a more varied sex life and are less likely to suffer from some form of sexual dysfunction.

Now, as for Female circumcision, there are three types of female genital cutting which pretty much are named in degree of how much tissue is removed. In all instances, however, the clitoris is either cut or removed completely thus severing the female’s ability to orgasm normally. The mildest form is where the clitoral hood (equal to the male foreskin) is removed and the clitoris is either split or completely removed.

The most severe is called a Type III and in this case, the entire labia regions as well as clitoral are removed from the female. The Type III, sadly, is the most widely practiced and is viewed as a social custom rather than religious.

The Type III ends in the female’s legs being tied together so she can heal, leaving them nothing more than a sheet of skin with a hole large enough to urinate or menstrate through. The scarier aspect of this is that her future husband has a right to perform a reverse infibulation on her by using a knife on her to open her body back up to allow intercourse. If a woman delivers a baby, she is then cut open again and afterwards, must live through having her legs tied together again in order to allow the wound to heal.

            Here, educate yourself!

            Female-circumcision…

The Obama administration is moving on multiple fronts to suppress and even criminalize criticism of Islam. http://www.understandingthethreat.com.

U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee Bill Killian will host the event “Public Disclosure in a Diverse Society” on June 4 where he will discuss how “civil rights” are violated by postings on social networks criticizing Islam. The event is sponsored by the “American Muslim Advisory Council” of Tennessee. This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion. This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are. Muslim culture will also be covered and how Islam is supposedly no different from other religions.

I’ve been aware of this kind of stuff, but I remain in disagreement. I guess it comes down to mere optimism. If it were to become illegal to criticize Islam it would then also be illegal to criticize Christianity or any religion. It’s more ridiculous a notion than being unable to criticize your government. I’m a bit indifferent on that issue. Our soldiers are not supposed to be there as Christian missionaries, or ‘morality police’, and so nothing they do or say should concern religion. Most of the population is Muslim along with people in the government – not just the Taliban – so walking into someone elses house and criticizing them isn’t what I consider ‘right’ or even smart. That’s not America over there ya know. We shouldn’t be there anyway.

TML, I wasn’t going to bother answering you, but I feel I must now, because there is just so much you either don’t know about i-slam, or choose to ignore. I will not judge which. There is one glaring error in all your arguments which otherwise seem coherent. That error is that you fail to comprehend that the Old Testament / Torah is a history book. It is, as you have said, superseded by the New Testament in Christianity, but it is still very much a history book regarding Israel. Is it violent? Absolutely! Is that violence justified? If I’m honest with myself, I must admit I don’t know, but they were primitive times as I’m sure we can all agree. The thing is, the OT does NOT command modern adherents of Christianity or Judaism to perform the same violent acts. The instructions, right or wrong, are clearly for the people of that time and nobody else.

Here is the difference though, i-slam, while it also recounts historical events and battles, contains many absolute imperatives for all muslims from the time it was written, until the so-called ‘last day’. This ‘last day’ according to the q’uran, will not come about until all Jews are killed, and all infidels are either converted or killed. Do your research, it’s all there to see.

The other thing is, while there are ‘allowances’ for infidels to live alongside muslims, both the imperatives and the realistic out-working of those allowances are far more harsh and intolerant.

The q’uran states that the Christians may pay ‘jizyah’ to the muslim to be allowed to live alongside them, however the reality is that muslims are allowed to take the payment, but still take slaves and property from the Christian population at will. Christians will also never be allowed to work or prosper alongside muslims. Only the muslims are allowed to prosper, because they are ‘blessed by allah’.

Not only that, but as can be clearly seen from the example in the ‘arab spring’, once power is attained by muslims, they care little for the finer points of their holy book, but literally treat non-muslims as filth to be exterminated and abused.
Here is clear evidenc: This is how Coptic Christians are treated at the moment: http://www.raymondibrahim.com/from-the-arab-world/jihad-on-egypts-christian-children/
Christian children kidnapped outside their Churches, held for ransom and murdered.

This is a personal testimony from an ex-muslim:
“I did not do anything to any Muslim personally, but almost all Muslims hates me and wish me death, not just because I left Islam, but because I say the things they don’t want to hear, even if these things are true from their sacred texts.
A Muslim, any Muslim can’t differentiate between Islam and the tip of his nose. If you dare to say something he doesn’t like about Islam, it is exactly like punching him on his nose….Islam for Muslims is not just a religion, it’s an identity, a nationality, a reason to be.
A Muslim live to serve and fight for his Islam not Islam who serve Muslims to live better ….You, the westerners, always project your mentality on Muslims,…. They think very differently, they behave very differently, their mentality is almost the opposite of yours , so don’t try to use logic with Muslims because they don’t understand it….Imagine yourself talk to an animal, that’s exactly the way it is …they understand only their own language, and their own language is power. The only language they understand is power.
And as i always said, muslims are the first victims of islam, the victims of a warlord evil man they consider a prophet and who succeeded to rid them from all traces of humanity, filled them with hatred, racism, paranoia, and an endless thirst for blood.”

        • TML

Peter says, “TML, I wasn’t going to bother answering you, but I feel I must now, because there is just so much you either don’t know about i-slam, or choose to ignore. I will not judge which.

The instructions, right or wrong, are clearly for the people of that time and nobody else.”

I must persist that, “as I have said”; I do not fail or make error to acknowledge that the Old Testament (and even the New Testament – obviously because I’m not religious) are nothing more than history books, but go further to say they are mixed with fairy tale and legend. This doesn’t change my understanding of Islam, and obviously I don’t ignore it.

That said, I shudder to think why you don’t know if the violence that the Bible/Torah “abosolutely” endorses, is justified. They were primitive times, indeed, and judging those ancient text behind the modern lense of morality doesn’t lend much understanding to the objective facts and how they relate to the situation today. What does, is understanding that your own religion is not wrapped in a white robe.

Sure, the OT does not command modern adherents of Christianity to perform the same violent act… although that seems largely to be at the descression of their own morality. Many ‘radical’ Christian fundamentalist and missionaries that believe the bible to be the literal word of God may disagree even with you about it being just a history book. Do you not also adhere to the 10 Commendments, or do you think that those commandment no longer applies to you? And who decides which are observable and which are not? In such Christian doctrine you can simple repent, and be forgiven of all sin not matter what? Dangerous concepts of morality, IMO. Even when it comes to ideas of utterly unquestioned support of Israel do Christians religiously adhere to the OT regardless of if they admit it or not.

And Judaism was never released from observing all those commands… they do not even accept Jesus as the son of God or Messiah, and see him only as a prophet the same as Islam (yes, Islam recognizes Jesus as a prophet of God). So, I must correct your failure here, the same as I did to Jay, that you are exceedingly misinformed to think Jews are no longer bound by the Torah law.

Peter says, “Here is the difference though, i-slam, while it also recounts historical events and battles, contains many absolute imperatives for all muslims from the time it was written, until the so-called ‘last day’. This ‘last day’ according to the q’uran, will not come about until all Jews are killed, and all infidels are either converted or killed. Do your research, it’s all there to see.

I have… and argee that it exists… however, to understand the big picture one must acknowledge that the same concepts are present in Jewish and Christian faiths… particularly Revelation (part of the New Testament which was inspired by the Book of Enoch of the Old Testament).

Many radical Christans actually believe the second coming or “rapture” is predicated upon the world being against Israel, and so zealously defend it for those reason as well as other statements in the Old Testament concerning ideas of “being against Israel is being against God”. Which is ridiculous even in their own religious context.

Peter says, “The other thing is, while there are ‘allowances’ for infidels to live alongside muslims, both the imperatives and the realistic out-working of those allowances are far more harsh and intolerant.

Honeslty, you should study the Jewish faith a bit closer… all of those concepts are part of Jewish law as well. The allowances, the ‘taxation’ for being an infidel, being able to take property, etc… is all there in the Jewish faith as well… and is even being observed by Zionist radicals in the illegal occupation of Palestine – which ultimately is the biggest source of conflict in the Middle East.

As for your evidence of Christian oppression by Muslims, I can likewise give you the history of oppression of Muslims by Jews and Christians, which has revealed itself in its modern form of a war on Islam masqueraded as a war on “terror”… in which America (what Christian’s claim to be a Christian nation) makes endless war on the entire Middle East (Muslims) in unconditional defense of Israel. What would Jesus have to say about all this? Think about that, eh?

          I appreciate your response.

          • Peter

TML, nothing you have said is ‘wrong’ per se, but conveniently, you still ignore the clear evidence of modern times where all religions are concerned.
Only one, i-slam, remains violent to the core and utterly committed to the violent overthrow of not only every religion, but every lifestyle that is not muslim. If you wish to ignore these facts just so you can continue to play ‘compare the dogma’ in your head, so be it. I was hoping you could see through that mire to the clear and current evidence.
From your comments I can only understand that you are not willing to do so.

          • TML

The clear evidence of modern times shows that the violence – such a terrorist attacks, or what you might call a desire to overthrow other nations and cultures – are driven more by political rights to property, nationality, and being oppressed, than they are religious teachings… although religion has historically been used in such situations as a platform for rallying people to the cause.

Look at Iran for example… that country may not have been a theocracy today and the Iranian revolution of 1979 may have never happened had it not been for CIA and Britain overthrowing their democratically elected Prime Minister in 1953, in order to place the oppressive Shah back on the throne, for corporate oil interests.

The clear modern evidence is that the conflict in the Middle East is a result of the occupation of Palestine, in which Jews/Zionists took land, violently expelling Palestinian’s from their rightful homes to this day – every day, never being allowed to return. Gaza and the West bank are the biggest concentration camps in the world where they are denied medical treatment, or going to work, or even access to water; where children grow up demoralized and treated like dogs, having to watch their parent beaten or even killed by Israeli soldiers every day.

Gaza Strip is 139 square miles jammed with over 1.5 million people, the vast majority being Muslim – 800,000 of them children – and on December 27 & 28 or 2008 Israel dropped more than 100 tons of bombs on Gaza, for resistance against Israeli control of Gaza air space and sea ports, for 41 years.

Considering that it is Israel that did all this for their supposed religious right to the land, and the unconditional support of Israel by the Christian west… yes, their resistance has religious over-tones, but if you think that political oppression is not what drives the violence, and instead claiming these people as a threat to this great nation through unprovoked desires to “kill us all” because their religion says so, then all I can say is that you are the one unwilling to see the truth, sir.

          • Peter

TML, I am well aware of modern history, thank you. You however have only mentioned one side of the strife between Israel and palestine. There have been many bombings and other terror attacks aimed at Israelis, yet you failed to mention that. Laying blame aside, it is always very telling when a person mentions only one side of the story to reinforce their argument.
Regardless, am I to take it then that because of your reasoning above, you are happy for i-slam to continue with their stated and open aim of imposing full sharia law in every western country and killing all Jews, Christians and infidels, which includes you?

          • TML

Peter says, “TML, I am well aware of modern history, thank you. You however have only mentioned one side of the strife between Israel and palestine. There have been many bombings and other terror attacks aimed at Israelis, yet you failed to mention that. Laying blame aside, it is always very telling when a person mentions only one side of the story to reinforce their argument.”

I have clearly mentioned both sides, but focused on WHY bombings and terror attacks are aimed at Israeli’s and us. I also debunked your claim that Islam is the only one violent to the core, by showing that Jews and Christians have been just as violent, even today, with the continued aggression against Muslim countries, particularly by Jews toward Palestinian’s, and Christian’s willful ignorance of their humanitarian crimes as they continue to unconditionally support Israel. The one side has been told quite enough… it’s time that people understand the other, and thus both. How telling then is that of yourself?

Peter says, “Regardless, am I to take it then that because of your reasoning above, you are happy for i-slam to continue with their stated and open aim of imposing full sharia law in every western country and killing all Jews, Christians and infidels, which includes you?”

The radical Muslims which claim such things (who are a small fraction of the 2 billion Muslims on the planet) do not represent most Muslims, the same as terror bombings do not. Such a statement isn’t much different than Jews and Christians trying to impose, by force, their values and ideal and political culture on them as well. Don’t be blinded by double-standards. Based on the great leap in logic you take to say that I would be happy for such things, I can only conclude that you haven’t a clue about what I’m saying, what’s really happening in the world, and why… or just don’t care. Your only concern seems to continue the same ad nauseam rhetoric that’s been fed to us since the establishment of the modern state of Israel, rather than any real understanding.

          • Peter

TML says, “I have clearly mentioned both sides, but focused on WHY bombings and
terror attacks are aimed at Israeli’s and us. I also debunked your claim
that Islam is the only one violent to the core, by showing that Jews
and Christians have been just as violent, even today, with the continued
aggression against Muslim countries, particularly by Jews toward
Palestinian’s, and Christian’s willful ignorance of their humanitarian
crimes as they continue to unconditionally support Israel” Pray tell how it is that you automatically align Christians with the actions of secular governments? Methinks it is a marriage of convenience in your mind, nothing less.

Your statement, “The radical Muslims which claim such things (who are a small fraction of
the 2 billion Muslims on the planet) do not represent most Muslims, the
same as terror bombings do not.” clearly shows you to be utterly and completely ignorant of the truth concerning the structure, tenets and intentions of i-slam. If you had the first clue about i-slam you would not even consider such an ignorant and uninformed statement.
Therefore, unfortunately, it is you who fail to have any real understanding of what is actually happening in the world, yet obviously you will fail to understand that.

          • TML

The “marriage” is done by themselves. Christian’s argue at great length that this is a Christian Nation, not secular, and will also argue at great lengths for the unconditional support of Israel, while turning a blind eye toward their humanitarian crimes against Palestinians. They remain willfully ignorant of such things while condemning every single Muslim on the planet as having a grand scheme to destroy all other nations and cultures who do not submit to them…. Just as you are doing now. Typical ignorance

          • Peter

Just as I thought, there are none so blind as those who refuse to see what is plainly in front of them. TML, you have not told any lies, but you have twisted reality to suit your argument, and are clearly blind to both i-slam and the secular realities in modern western societies. So be it. I wish you well.

          • TML

If I have not told any lies than how can you say I have distorted reality? Perhaps it is you who is unwilling to admit the truth. If you want to engage the topic then do so… don’t just try and insult me with no explanation.

You said “their stated and open aim of imposing full sharia law in every western country and killing all Jews, Christians and infidels”… to which I said, “The radical Muslims which claim such things (who are a small fraction of the 2 billion Muslims on the planet) do not represent most Muslims”… to which you said, “clearly shows you to be utterly and completely ignorant of the truth concerning the structure, tenets and intentions of i-slam.”

I’m well aware of their structure and tenets but you have to understand that there are conservatives and there are liberal even in Islam… those who support imposing Sharia law in every western country or killing all Jews and Christians, supporting terrorist suicide bombings, etc… do not represent ALL Muslims, and that isn’t being ignorant of the truth in the least. To put things in perspective; out of the 3 million Muslims oppressed in the West Bank and Gaza, less than 200 bombings occurred since the 1980’s.

Even if we look back into the advent of Islam and Arab conquests, they were not in the habit of “killing all Jews, Christians, and infidels” because their religion says so. They, being an empire, allowed people that they conquered to continue practicing their faiths, although they did demand taxation. That behavior (tribute) is no different than any other empire (religious or secular) in the ancient world at the time. As for the imposition of full sharia law; that isn’t much different than the command that Christians have to spread the gospel, and whose missionaries explicitly seek to gain converts.

I believe our primary difference is that you fear the Muslims and their supposed agenda that has been given as a reason for warring with them… to stop their grand evil plan, whereas I do not fear them. It is not that they have a grand evil plan to destroy and enslave us that we war with them. That’s just the excuse to rally people such as yourself to the cause, and support that action, when in fact it has been the oppression of those Arab (and Persian) countries by the west (colonialist partitioning and intervention, propping up dictators, etc.) that is the cause of resistance which we now call a grand evil plan of Islam.

          • Peter

TML, this is the last I will say on this subject, because frankly it’s like talking to a brick wall.

I actually agree with you that in many respects, both sides of politics in many western countries have a lot to answer for by sending troops into muslim countries, but have you forgotten 9/11? Up to that time, very little of note, apart from the shrub senior backing the Kuwaitis and Israel, had actually occurred internationally in muslim countries.

The shrub should never have invaded Iraq.
He did it to secure oilfor big dick cheney and his buddies at Haliburton and to finish daddy shrub’s shortcomings in Kuwait.
BO is just as corrupt, but in more underhanded ways.

Your arguments of “You guys did it first” are like a kid in a schoolyard. “Johnny, stop hitting Jimmy”. “But Miss, Jimmy hit me first and he’s been picking on me!”
So what does the teacher do next?
“Johnny, I don’t care who started it, I told you to stop it, now!”
Somebody has to stop the onslaught of i-slamism into the west, because they ARE hell-bent on taking over, whether or not you choose to see it or believe in it.

The major difference between us is in your preference for placing a point of difference where there is none, between so-called ‘moderate’ muslims and radicals.

I say there is none for very good and verifiable reasons.

Even when you hear a ‘moderate’ muslim say something a radical has done is bad, it’s not worth the breath he has taken to say it.

I would be eternally surprised if you could point me to just one muslim who has not only spoken against something a radical has done, but actually done something about stopping it recurring, like expelling a radical imam for instance?

The reason you won’t find a muslim who has the guts to stand against another muslim, especially one who by his violent actions has proven himself to be more pious than a ‘moderate’, is that to do so would cause him to be labelled an apostate, and under the qu’ran, worthy of death.

We are seeing examples of this almost daily in Iraq and Afghanistan, where muslims are killing muslims from different sects, for perceived i-slamic inadequacies, as well as targeting Jews, Christians and infidels.

If you refuse to see these facts as true, there is no hope for you to see the coming i-slamofascist onslaught, which, slowly but surely, is happening right now. Please open your eyes.

          • TML

Well, I’m glad that you finally decided to elaborate… it certainly was like talking to a brick wall when your only responses up till now was simply “you don’t know what you talking about”

Peter says, “but have you forgotten 9/11? Up to that time, very little of note, apart from the shrub senior backing the Kuwaitis and Israel, had actually occurred internationally in muslim countries.”

Uh… have you forgotten that we were bombing Iraq for 10 years prior to 9/11? Have you forgotten that those who hi-jacked the planes were mostly Saudi’s (and you don’t see our troops there do ya?)… have you forgotten Iran/Contra? Have you forgotten that we are the ones who trained and armed Al-Qaeda and the Taliban? I could go on and on… and you say, very little of note occurred?

And trying to downplay the causes of the conflict to a mere school yard skirmish is intellectually dishonest. But the entire point was for it to be stopped. The oppression of those in Gaza and the West Bank; the taking of and destroying of homes by Israel occupation continues every day. It’s no longer a matter of who started it… it’s a matter of who is keeping it going.

I would imagine that simple immigration reform could stop “the onslaught” of those “bent on taking over”…. without a war being required. Your arguments amount to nothing more than religiously driven fear that Muslims – every last dirty evil Muslim – is going to kill us all and take over the United States. Get freakin real will ya? Your supposed solution or response to your fear will only make the situation worse.

Peter says, “I would be eternally surprised if you could point me to just one muslim who has not only spoken against something a radical has done, but actually done something about stopping it recurring, like expelling a radical imam for instance?
The reason you won’t find a muslim who has the guts to stand against another muslim….”

Guest, you are so right on. Thank you for this very enlightening piece.
I had answered TML earlier but used your name (I have corrected it, thank goodness for edit) but I apologize.

  • steve

since church and religion seem to be the hot topic today, i thought you might like to know that the government will be shutting down and destroying all religions soon. revelation chapter 18 babylon the great will be destroyed.

    • Doc Sarvis

Oh yes, and the world was supposed to end last December, and several times before that. Also, there was going to be some October Surprise before last election that would allow President Obama to put the country under martial law. I must have missed all of that.

      • WTS/JAY

You have missed a great deal, Mr. Sarvis, as is evidenced in your writings. Strangely, you seem rather proud of that fact.

      • Merle Dickey

The way things are going maybe it is this October.

    • Nadzieja Batki

steve, the State does not shut down or destroy religion, in fact it loves Religion. Destroying and shutting down won’t work in the age of the Internet, but what it will do is create a new religion that will accommodate religions that it finds acceptable and malleable.

    • real talk 1

      So now what?

      • Jana

Start reading the Word of God for yourself, chapter by chapter verse by verse, and talk to the Lord your God. It is called Prayer. Do not be afraid. When you love the Lord our God and have accepted Jesus as your Savior, and repented your sins, remember, God is not mad at you. He will take care of you. Be prepared. God is not waiting to see who He can zap, He loves His children. He want them to love Him back. If you need more I will be glad to answer any questions that I can.

Is the Muslim Brotherhood in the White House?

Rashad Husain – Muslim ambassador for Obama, and U.S. special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference in Saudi Arabia.

Kareem Shora – Janet Napolitano’s(Homeland Security) senior advisor.

Arif Alikhan – Visiting professor of Homeland Security and counterterrorism at the National Defense University. Previously served as assistant Homeland Security secretary for policy development.

Jocelyne Cesari – Teaches at the National Defense University.

Navy Commander Youssef Aboul-Enein – National Defense University instructor.

Azizah al-Hibri – Obama appointment to the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom.

Rashad Hassan – American ambassador to the Organization of Islamic Conference(52-nations).

Dalia Mogahed – Obama speech writer.

    • WTS/JAY

Well Don, just as John said. Those who love Obama (Muslim-Liberal-Democrats) will deny and dismiss any and all truth even if it bit them on their Muslim-behind. As you may have noticed, we have a few Islamic-radicals on this site who come and sing praises for Obama, and engage in “digital-jihad” against anyone who criticizes their “jug-eared-Muslim”! They claim they are Liberal-Democrat-Progressives, but that is only a cover. They are in essence members of the Islamic-Radical-Cyber-Muslim-Taliban organization in the loyal service to Obama, or the IRCMT! Their claim that they are Liberal-Democrats is just a cover. It is a false claim, a lie in fact!

Thanks for the info, spread the word; we have an “Islamic-Radical” in the White-House!

  • MrD

I posted a note some time back about the term “conservative,” and how it has deceived so many. I am a Christian conservative, which means I am doing my best to follow the Biblical teachings for my life.I fail and have failed, but go on confessing sin and seeking my Lord’s forgiveness which He promises.Far too many people hear and read the term conservative, and hear it associated with religion, and believe that a republican and conservative and Christian are the same, and it is completely false.Just because a politician talks about God,doesn’t make him a Christian, because no one knows that person’s heart and what god he is referring to.This is the case of Obama and his deceptive church attendance.Remember,”the devils believe…” So when we hear those terms used together,we must practice the admonition of John:” Try the spirits…”

You must understand that all, all Muslims are potential jihadists or terrorists by virtue of their religion. Their Islam religion condones, no encourages death to the infidels. The NWO is setting us up for Islam’s takeover. Haven’t you noticed? Obama himself is an Islam infiltrator in our government. Haven’t you noticed? Search what is happening to Belgium. Islam is taking over. Look at what is happening to Europe. The Muslim population has doubled in America in the last ten years. Will you please wake up before it is too late.

  • Cindy

I have believed Obama is Muslim from the start. A true Christian would not do and say the things he does and says. There is almost nothing about his life’s story that is true including who his father is. If you haven’t watched “Dreams From My Real Father”, I suggest you do. It is very obvious that Frank Marshall Davis is his father. Obama looks just like Davis and nothing like the Obama family.

rbrooks: morons like you. who pass moronic laws based on their beliefs in mythology.

What laws are you referring to, you intellectually-stunted twit? Would that be the laws that ensure Liberty, Justice and the pursuit of happiness for all, nematode? The only reason you consider such laws to be moronic, is because they don’t grant you the licence to impose your swine-lifestyle on others. Is that not so, oh depraved, Bottom-Feeder?

rbrooks: if you brain dead believers would just keep your beliefs to your self.

Sure, just as soon as pigs like you stop forcing your depraved and debauched life-styles on us and stick them in your closets, where they belong. Hows that sound, Bottom-Feeder?

          • rbrooks

it is twits like you that will bring about the elimination of mythology. the more you post, the more often you speak, the more people you drive away from your beliefs and ideals.

rbrooks: Really? the gop can not understand why they are a shrinking party.

And you can’t understand why your brain is shrinking, but then again, you are not aware that it is, shrinking! So it makes no difference to you, hey Bottom-Feeder?

What Mr Meyers fails to mention is the fact that our president, Mr Obama requires no religious test to be President.

    Article 6 clause 3:

The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

That archaic “Sky Daddy” as some call him in Facebook, is the reason that our head is not cut off for calling him that. Morality and human rights are paramount attributes of this country and is included in that constitution that some berate. The right to believe and worship the way you wish also includes the right to reject and not be persecuted or harmed because I don’t believe the way your prophet, religion or lack of religion believes. That is freedom of religion in which the government does not choose my religion as our president , Islamic faiths, and the atheist are trying to do. Your moon or non religious faith does not offend me nor should my cross and religious faith offend you. Don’t attempt to change the meaning of the Constitution, written by mostly Christian men, giving this country a moral law in which to govern by. Since its conception the constitution has been under attack to change this country form federation into a secularized, immoral, group of heathens that want to become another Roman that destroyed itself by an anything goes culture. The Christian religion teaches a “live and let live” culture that is judged by ones self using the laws God laid out for us. The term “do unto others as you would have others do unto you” , which is the Christian faith and the Constitution reduced to one sentence. I’m sure you have heard of the “Golden Rule”.

  • TML

“….refuses to use any words that might imply a connection between radical Islam and terrorism, which anybody who is over the age of 9 knows is the single greatest cause of terror in the world today”

All of the “terrorist” activity that is associated with Islam today can be traced back to the establishment of the modern state of Israel by Britain and Zionists (not true Jews), and the illegal occupation of Palestine. So of course, anyone over the age of 9 has been conditioned to believe what you are saying, but that isn’t necessarily the whole truth. Despite such acts being carried out by extremely religious conservatives (radical Muslims) the terrorism was born and driven by political rights to property, nationality, being oppressed and not by religious teachings.

It seems strange to condemn him for such, regardless of Obama’s motives or attempts at political correctness that may or may not be wrong or misguided. This country, while predominantly Christian, was never a “Christian nation” – Treaty of Tripoli Article 11

This country, our Constitution, was established to include within its protection the Muslim, and every infidel of every denomination.

I believe that opposition to Zionist and radical Christian warmongering isn’t such a bad thing, and very necessary in today’s world where a majority of people have been conditioned to hate a religion, rather than judging each person individually.

I AM SHOCKED you are only realizing something is wrong with the negro. I mean, come on. He has proven to be a racist long before he was elected.

I AM ALSO SHOCKED, that Personal Liberty has rejected me because I use the word NEGRO. They do not want you to subscribe to them.

This tells me THEY DO KNOW NEGROES are inferior and thus do not want you to use the word NEGRO. Meaning the owner of Personal Liberty is a racist. Because he knows this. If you are not a racist this would not matter to you, you see.

To see if this is true, imagine if Barry Saetoro was a “whitey”. Look at the things you could say to him (bad only) and no one would care. But as soon as you say NEGRO (because Barry is one) they kick you out.

So who is REALLY the racist when you do that?

    Sites thus that are racist:

    WND.COM
    BRIETBART.COM
    THEBLAZE.COM
    PERSONALLIBERTY.COM

    • http://personalliberty.com/ Bob Livingston

      Dear Kukye,

You write: “I AM ALSO SHOCKED, that Personal Liberty has rejected me because I use the word NEGRO.” What must really shock you is the fact that you just typed the word “negro” four times and you were not “rejected.” Any claims that you have been “rejected” because you typed the word “negro” are lies.

You write: “This tells me THEY DO KNOW NEGROES are inferior and thus do not want you to use the word NEGRO.” This tells me you are a fool making unfounded assertions.

You write: “Meaning the owner of Personal Liberty is a racist. Because he knows this.” See previous response.

You write: “Sites thus that are racist:… PERSONALLIBERTY.COM” Continue making unfounded and illogical charges like this and you will be blacklisted.

      Best wishes,
      Bob

      • $9913635

You are correct! You did let me use the word “negro” and not “black” because it is not a race.

HOWEVER, someone at your site has taken me off the subscription list without my knowledge. You might say I was “brownlisted”.

I also, if I recall one comment was deleted or not there recently that used the word “negro”. Then I noted my other comments were allowed. Change of heart?

When I tried to RESUBSCRIBE TWICE nothing shows up meaning I have to MANUALLY go to your site. It is not automatic anymore.

So, something happened on your side since I started to comment with the proper race description of “negro”. I refuse to use “black” because it is not proper to describe them like that and is in fact racist!

        • http://personalliberty.com/ Bob Livingston

          Dear Kukye,

You write: “HOWEVER, someone at your site has taken me off the subscription list without my knowledge. You might say I was “brownlisted”.” I have spoken to those who have access to the list. This has not happened. The email you just posted under is in the system. You have not been “brownlisted.”

You write: “I also, if I recall one comment was deleted or not there recently that used the word “negro”. Then I noted my other comments were allowed. Change of heart?” I find no evidence in the filters that a comment of yours has been deleted, and I have spoken to those in the office who have the ability to do so, and they deny having deleted one of your comments. Sometimes in this comment system, comments go to strange places. There has been no “change of heart.” Comments that don’t violate the comment policy are not removed. Go here to learn how the comment system works: http://personalliberty.com/2013/04/04/weve-recently-moved-to-the-disqus-commenting-system/

If you would like to contact customer service or technical support, perhaps they can assist with your commenting issues. You can reach customer service and technical support at http://personalliberty.com/contact-us/ . However, I’m not sure they are qualified to help you with the other “issues” from which you apparently suffer.

          Best wishes,
          Bob

        • Judy

Negro is the correct word for black. Don’t know why everyone makes such a big deal about it. Nigger on the other hand has a whole other meaning. It means dirty and unkempt.

    • Deerinwater

I have used the term “Negro” many times over the years on Bob Livingston’s forums ~ and my posting have never been “rejected or changed” in anyway. ~ I suspect this a false claim and unfounded in truth. ~

Perhaps you are not familiar with the forum itself and forum rules ~ there are few and they are posted for your convenience and review.

Play nice, ~ no profanity, no personal attacks on the Author. ~ Attack the message. ~ That should not be too hard to do. ` ~ I find the site a “target rich” domain.

Obama has sympathy for Muslims for a reason but he is not Muslim. He is not a Christian either. He has no religious identity because he does not know anything about any religion. He does not believe in any god. Because if he did he would not try to make people dependent on government. He believes in big government and that government is the solution for all ills. His religion is Communism. I believe he despises all religions because religion and communism don’t get along well. Majority of Americans are white Christians and Obama hates whites. Majority of Muslims in America are immigrants and almost all immigrants believe that whites mistreat them. Now, what is the best way to stick it to whites? Sympathize with Muslims.

Furthermore, if Muslims think Obama is their friends, they are wrong. In the end people of all faiths will be the losers. He only serve one god and that is Communism. Given time, Obama and Liberals will prove it.

    he Sad Truth:

Two Middle East mothers are sitting in a cafe chatting over a plate of tabouli and a pint of goat’s milk.
The older of the mothers pulls a bag out of her purse and starts flipping through photos, and they start reminiscing.
“This is my oldest son Mohammed. He would be 24 years old now.”
“Yes, I remember him as a baby” says the other mother cheerfully.
“He’s a martyr now though” mum confides.
“Oh, so sad dear” says the other.
And this is my second son Kalid. He would be 21″
“Oh, I remember him,” says the other happily, “he had such curly hair when he was born”.
“He’s a martyr too” says mum quietly.
“Oh, gracious me …” says the other.
“And this is my third son. My baby. My beautiful Ahmed. He would be 18,” she whispers.
“Yes” says the friend enthusiastically, “I remember when he first started school”
He is a martyr also,” says mum, with tears in her eyes.

After a pause and a deep sigh, the second Muslim mother looks wistfully at the photographs and says…

“They blow up so fast, don’t they?”

You Tube “Obama mocks the Bible”. Just check it out and then ask yourself how many Christians mock 3 bible verese and laughjs when fellow muslims laugh. Its all right there just check it out. The Muslim brotherhood is in full force and is on its
way to making the entire world obey Shiria law. And it all started with the election of the first non-american, full-blooded, full-named Muslim Hussein Obama as president of the U.S.

I know about the dumbing down about a nation. I was talking to someone about those SAFE curly light bulbs that the government is ramming down our throats and this person did not know that they contained mercury. In fact that person did not even know what mercury was. If this is our up and coming we are in serious trouble. Obama stated that this country is a muslim country, Since when?? It never was. Watch out for our wonderful multicultureism that will allow all laws from other countries to trump our laws. I say you are either an American or NOT. If not then leave. And yes we know Obama is a muslim. How he got elected is beyond me. Think I’ll run in 2016 :) . At least I know about my country.

  • Albert Maslar

You can tell a lot about a person by their friends and those they associate and surround themselves with. President Obama has continually surrounded himself with anti-American socialist types who disrespect US heritage based on the Constitution, Christianity, and the Ten Commandments. On numerous occasions Obama bowed to Islamic officials, apologizing to the Muslim world for supposed American transgressions, ignoring Islam’s 1400 year history of war, violence, terror, encroachment, and by default painting Islam as the “peaceful religion” as also portrayed by President G.W. Bush.
President Obama bowed before foreign Islamic religious dignitaries and in an address he gave at the 67th session of the United Nations General Assembly on Sept. 25, 2012 (AP) defines the President as to where his heart and soul lies as he solemnly said,
“The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam.”
Would that he said the same about the greatest religious figure in the history of the world, Jesus Christ, the one and only “Anointed One,” who is deemed to be illegal by the esteemed wannabe anointed one.

Without a doubt The Imposter is doing his absolute best to turn the west into a banana (or sand dune) republic. Pakistan has anti-blasphemy laws…something Americans and the First Amendment make, by our own existence, completely repugnant. Such “laws” are the antithesis of all things American. And so is this Imposter…repugnant to everything decent we gave so many lives to create.
Obama and his “troika” as Mr. Myers puts it…are the enemy. Radical Islam is the enemy. Political Correctness, is an enemy….I could go on but everyone who isn’t a frothing at the mouth extremist or an irrational and childish liberal gets the idea, I’m sure.

Islam is for pedophiles, rapists, and incestuous 7th century pagan animals. Muslims worship the devil and Christian Americans will NEVER condone their ideology. Obama knows this and must disarm us before the civil unrest begins, which he is starting himself. Obama’s policies are all together working to shred our Constitution, freedom, way of life, and peace and harmony in our communities and he MUST be stopped cold. I don’t care how it happens, whether on the political stage or whatever doesn’t matter one bit, Obama MUST be stopped immediately. All future generations in this country depend on it.

Since the man Obama first began to be publicized in politics I have followed his progress. It was amazing to say the least just how quickly he progressed to become President of the United States but during that time I listened very closely to everything that he said and all that was said about him. Why, I am not sure exactly. Say I was led to- because from the time I heard his name I also heard the newscaster say that he” was the first Muslim in politics to win his seat in the Senate.” I heard that said on more than one occasion but it began to disappear from the story’s and when it is said now it is dismissed as a wrong statement. I read his books. In it he says he will stand with Islam. In every way he supports Islam to exclusion of every other religion while pretending to be a practicing Christian. No real Christian could ever stand in a Planned Parenthood meeting and say for God to bless what is done there. Murder is not birth control nor is it acceptable in the sight of God. How do I know? God said so in HIS own word. I won’t argue that point. I will dismiss all who try to say it is not right. I know it is because it is written in Holy scripture. Islam does not accept Abortion. Christianity if real ) does not accept murdering the unborn. A Christian would never say for GOD to bless it. Muslim would since it means that all Infidels would die and not Muslims.
