The Myth of Taxpayers’ Money

October 12, 2009 by

The Myth of Taxpayers’ Money

Taxpayers’ money is the definition of an overworked term. We could teach Goebels a thing or two!

When ALL the writers refer to "taxpayers’ money," they think that our taxes are "taxpayers’ money" and they are trying to tell the public that the government "wastes taxpayers’ money" and they actually believe this nonsense.

Now to set this illusion in concrete, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) does reduce the numbers (money) in our checking accounts when we authorize them to do so via our 1040 tax return.

But no one ever asks where the numbers (money) go when deleted from our checking accounts. These numbers (money) do not go to Washington as taxes to pay anything. They go into the cyberspace of the IRS computers.

All this is Orwellian doublethink.

Facts:  The dollar is a myth. Oh, I know that we have green strips of paper in our pockets that we believe are dollars. The numbers on the green strips of paper are our "dollars." So what we "spend" every day are the numbers or the symbols on our green strips of paper.

Now if the government "wastes our tax dollars," what do they waste? Do they waste the numbers or computer symbols called dollars? How is it possible in the realm of reality to spend or waste numbers that can be created to infinity? What absurd nonsense!

Please, we should memorize this! Anything that can be created to infinity cannot be "spent” or “wasted." To spend or to waste implies to exhaust or use up. These money symbols (numbers) that we think of every day as money have no substance in reality. We as individuals do "spend" numbers, but ours are limited. Therefore, we can use the term spend or debt as it relates to anything except the Federal Government and their symbiotic partners, the banks.

So what does the IRS do? They reduce our consumption by reducing the numbers in our checking accounts. It is a system of economic regulation to conceal the fraud that modern money is numbers created without limit by government/bankers.

What else does this Orwellian system do? It transfers wealth to the "money creators." How does a government make war on its own people? We said that modern money is numbers or symbols which can be created to infinity. Hold on to your hat! Theft through fiat occurs when the VOLUME of numbers (money) exceeds the production of goods and services. This is called inflation. So, the government makes war on its own people by increasing the volume of money.

Individuals, cities, counties and states cannot increase their money supply (more numbers) by creating more. Only the Federal Government in symbiotic relationship with the banks has this monopolistic power. When this monopoly creates inflation it reduces the exchange value of all "dollars" in savings and circulation. Where does this reduction in savings and dollar assets go? It goes to the money creators, the people who increased the volume of money (numbers) into the system. Nobody controls the VOLUME of money except the money creators.

How do they get away with this? The answer is the ignorance of the people. Through the manipulation of economic classes and racial conflict and the military industrial complex, the money creators generate a constant clamor for higher volumes of money, small percentages of which are dispensed back to the poorer classes. The poor people get a crumb and they are happy.

Social Security and Medicare are created with excess money (numbers) volume. They are Ponzi schemes.

What makes this system work even for a day? It’s a confidence system. Most people still believe that it is honest and that it will last even though their store of value and the purchasing power of their "money" decrease constantly.

The other reason that the system of fiat works for periods of time is that the VOLUME of money is regulated through taxation. Estate taxes, income taxes and all other taxes reduce the volume of money which extends the system. When the volume of money is expanded, there must be a serious way to keep reducing the volume. Taxes and wars extinguish the excess volume of money. Do we have taxes? Do we have perpetual wars? Wars don’t cost money; they extinguish surplus volumes of money. Wars would not be possible without fiat.

Modern money is witchcraft, but it can be understood in terms of volume whether it is gold or fiat.

President James A. Garfield said, "Whoever controls the volume of money in any country is absolute master of all industry and commerce."

This is quality information that is not taught in public schools. No one should be allowed to graduate unless or until they understand it and what it really means to Americans who think they live in a free society.
Americans have been conditioned to avoid thinking. Our eduction system aids and abets this freedom-killing insanity.
In effect, this mind-numbing assault on reason is proof that the Founding Fathers were right in so many ways. If you understand this article, you have a chance to be free. If you do not understand this article (or if you don’t care), you are already wearing chains. Some people actually let themselves enjoy it.
Is there any wonder why America is in such deep trouble?

      Their-in lays our problem.

I have thought much of this on my own and have come to the same conclusions. But what can one do? Unemployed for the past 14 months (hence a real limit of the unreal dollars) one realizes you still need to play to game in order to survive.

Debt and the mortgage game is essentially a 21st century form of feudalism and the feudal lords are the banking institutions. Who can think (or even think of a revolt!) when one is always behind trying to put food on the table and simply just trying to survive? When you have families you are a captured audience at that point as even the tax system punishes those who remain single – perhaps because you have less to lose = more likely to revolt?

    • April

Paul D, You asked “what can one do”. First, I think that you have to remember that you are not fighting these battles alone. I think that is part of the purpose of these sights. All I can do is try to give moral support by sharing what I try to do as just one insignificant little ant(in the broad scheme of things)in hopes to encourage and inspire folks like you and myself to keep trying. I know nothing about starting a revolt; but these are just a few things off the top of my head that I feel compelled to do: pray, seek and check out info- such as the value of a dollar and how that system works as well as others, brush up on Bible and the History and origin of our Nation, and the law, present these truths to my own children and grandchildren- I never leave it up to the schools or the church to instill their thoughts or values into them, but rather teach them how to check it out for themselves. Like Jack Lovett was talking about earlier, I too got caught up in too much TV at times guilty of using it as a baby sitter (fixed that). I write and call my state senators and who ever else I think needs my two cents worth. LOL, I also vent when I am frustrated. Our time is so limited, but I thank God for those like you who care enough to desire and try to help get things going in the right direction.

I agree with all. In addition I am learning to grow as much of my own food as possible. Some say we need weapons as relates to the 2nd ammendment. We need to defend ourselves in some way perhaps with weapons or moral force like Gandhi, Christ, and MLK. Perhaps with both. I understand both views. I am open to God and all God’s miracles which I see and feel in life and creation all around. The bankers and the powers behind them seem almost invinsible. My gut tells me that God and justice will prevail in the end but we may be severely tested first. This is why I like the ageless timeless, modern mythic legends and stories like Jesus’s life, The American Revolution, Narnia, World War II,Lord of the Rings or Independence Day. I think they are much closer to the truth than most people are willing to admit.

  • Myron Martin

Very well said, unfortunately 99% of the population is so brainwashed they would not get it even if they did read it. Even those who SHOULD KNOW, analysts who claim to be CONTRARIAN often buy into banker propaganda!

None is so nefarious as the popular MYTH that bankers make their money on the SREAD between the interest they pay on deposits and what they CHARGE on loans, nothing could be further from the truth!

Given our supposed laws against MONOPOLY and PYRAMID schemes the following may be hard to believe, but extensive investigation through publicly available sources will prove the truth to you if you will set aside your disbelief and examine the facts without prejudice!

Below is a direct quote from an analyst trumpeting the turn around in the economy and why he is heavily invested in banks and financial ETF’s —

QUOTE: “They’ll earn 1% if they’re lucky. On the other side of that 1%, laughing like crazy, are bankers who then turn around and loan that money out to big business at 6%-plus, or buy bonds yielding 4% to 12%. The banks are making a killing on consumer savings, which is really sad, but it’s the truth. This is one reason we are overweight banks in our ETF portfolio.”

Nothing could be further from the truth, how can you LOAN a liability?
Deposits are not an asset of the bank, they are a liability subject to withdrawal by the OWNER, however, under the iniquitous Federal Reserve Act of 1913 these liabilities of the bank are the foundation for their loaning activities which is “creation of NEW MONEY out of thin air” at a ratio of up to $20. for every dollar they hold in deposits!

Understand this clearly, what they LOAN is NOT a percentage of their depositors money, that is pure fiction, they are simply ALLOWED TO (in defiance of the Constitution) CREATE new money at 20X1 leverage, (and sometimes more) so when people lose faith in this CON game and start to withdraw their savings, we have what is known as a BANK RUN and deleveraging such as we experienced last year.

An honest Central Bank Governor (Graham Towers) testified to a Canadian Commons Banking Committee in 1939 very accurately that: “every bank loan is a new creation of money, and when it is paid back it ceases to exist” and anyone who wants to understand our present financial problems will find the answers within that statement.

It is prima facie evidence and PROOF that our present banking system is the “mother of all Ponzi schemes” for the simple reason that ONLY the principal amount of a loan is ever created, but the DEBT PYRAMID created at all levels of society through compounding I-N-T-E-R-E-S-T is NOT, therefore it necessarily follows that as loans are paid back, say in the case of a 25 yr. ammortized mortgage, UP TO DOUBLE (on average) artificial currency is CANCELLED as it is paid back, than was originally created as the banks confiscate their interest!

What this means in practical terms is that for this pyramid scheme (illegal in all other circumstances) to survive, there must be an exponentially increasing level of new loans to REPLACE the cancelled artificially created currency and pay the bankers interest which means an ever expanding DEBT PYRAMID that becomes a strain on any economy and leads to either hyperinflation or currency debasement or BOTH!

It is HIGH TIME the “powers that be” recognized and admitted the failed experiment with fiat currencies combined with fractional reserve banking (since 1971 when we went off the gold standard) that has now ENSLAVED the WORLD to DEBT and restore CONSTITUTIONALLY based HONEST MONEY backed by hard assets.

Politicians and bankers HATE the straight jacket that puts them in because they can no longer STEAL from the people with their slight of hand, promises they can only keep by continuous debt creation, and using inflation to hide their nefarious schemes.

Sorry folks, a viable, financially sound economy can not be built on a foundation of “phony money” created out of thin air with no substance behind it! The only part of the market that is likely to grow over the next few years is that of precious metals as fiat currencies continue to TANK. The U.S. dollar is DOWN 30% in purchasing power just since 2000, by contrast, gold that has a 5000 year history of having maintained relatively stable purchasing power in real terms is up something like 300% in the same time frame as the dollar declined!

GOLD is the true measure of VALUE, not the dollar, gold has NOT become more expensive, the purchasing power of the dollar has simply declined, the masses have simply been brain washed and hood winked into looking through the wrong end of the telescope.

    • Earl

Myron, great addendum to the original article.

  • Richard Pawley

God (or the Universe if you are a non-believer) gave us gold to use as money. It was and is in the cooling gases of stars that are throughout the universe. It is mentioned often in the Bible (in fact “money” and all words that mean money are the most frequently mentioned subject in the entire Bible – it’s that important). However important as it is there are other things that are more important. In my latest book I mention the reasons why LACALIF is not likely to exist as we know it for more than another eleven months (OK, there is a one percent chance it will remain the same but even our best scientists say there is a 99% change the big one will hit in the next few decades whereas in both my books I say why I believe it will be greatly changed within eleven months) and that just as God warned the Pharaoh in ancient Egypt that severe famine was coming (though he needed Joseph’s interpretation to understand what the cryptic dreams he had meant) so He has warned us that we too, even in these not-so United States are going to be hurting in a few years. Gold may yet double before the dollar dies but food will triple and then some. I suggest you learn both about how you can have a relationship with the living God and how you can stockpile food for the shortages ahead. Foods are available that have a 10 to 30 year life span and some of them are healthier than supermarket foods. Much to learn but there is time if you get busy. God is for you. He loves you. “Ask and you shall receive” Don’t give up. The globalists in Washington can be slowed down but you must be positive. Learn, pray, and vote! While things may not get better for the “world” they can get better for you, or as it says somewhere in the Bible, “Be of good cheer!”

    • Geo

Although I do not completely disagree with your statements, I would like to say that technically God does not put a value on things. He did not give “us gold to use as money,” God created the earth, man, animals, metals, gold etc. I believe It was the sinful nature of man that created money, or put value on gold, or inanimate objects. Remember like pack-rats we like things that shine. Simple rocks have no value because of their abundance, Sticks are hard to carry around, and again, they grow on trees, and really abundant, they only become valuable when they are milled or made into boards. Gold, Silver, copper etc have to be mined first to have any plausible value, they have value in their raw form but not so much as to compared when they have been refined by fire.

Ultimately when something is in abundance and easy to get, like trees, paper, rocks, then the value of those things diminish. As the dollar diminishes it will inevitably lead to a great crash, much like the Vimar republic of the 1920′s.

      • Richard Pawley

“Technically” you are correct! What God values is US! Jesus said “God is Love” and there is nothing you can do to make God love you more than He already does. All you can do is draw closer to Him and he will draw closer to you. The Bible explains this in some detail. That said I do not believe it was the sinful nature of man that created money any more than using a horse and plow is better than using a tractor and a combine or vice versa. Barter is just not a practical method of transaction for advanced societies with more than a few thousand members so some kind of medium of exchange had to come to be. As long as it was real and limited (less than one ounce of gold exists for every peron on the planet)then it could be used. Using paper for money was even outlawed by the Chinese before we ever started using it in 1694 but paper has always been “preferred” by banks and governments because paper “money” can be created at a whim. However, since all is in the mind of God, the use of gold as money benefits all, not just the the bankers. With unbacked (and unlimited) paper money they can enrich themselves with a gradual inflation, not so easy with a limited gold. 5,000 years of history have proven gold works better than anything else. It’s like I said in “The Last Days of the Late Great United States” I have no illusions that the bankers will allow us to return to a gold standard but just as the concept of nations was a God given or God inspired one so the opposite of God wants to do away with that as well and have a one world government and a one world dictator. God has also revealed that there are soon going to be severe food shortages in the world but I write about that too and it’s to long to go into here. God bless you and get ready for some of the most interesting times of your lives. Dull they will not be!

  • http://Don'thaveone Sally Helterbran

After I learned the above which ook a couple of years in the Bank Guarantee Debenture society, and all of the really crooked bankers involved, we started calling them “banksters” and you just confirmed what we knew. Thanks. Hopefully others will take note but of course don’t know what to do about it as one is not able to force any government back on a gold standard and for that matter not even to a balanced budget.

    • Richard Pawley

Sally, if we voted out of office EVERY senator and EVERY congressman and women who voted to spend money, especially at this time, as we enter the Greatest Depression of our entire history (and a financial crisis that will eventually prove greater than the War Between The States) then a balanced budget might be possible. However, each state’s citizens seem to keep re-electing the same politicians (I’ve read that Obama spent a million dollars a day while senator – for his home state of course) and almost all or them are controlled by the owners of the Federal Reserve Banking System and Wall Street. Congress is pushing as hard as they can to create the destruction of the dollar, watering down the value of our money by spending it like it was real, and that will surely not create balanced budgets but close to 300% inflation although it will take some time for this to be evident (the dollar has lost 12% of it value so far this year). Only when the crash of the dollar takes the world with it along with world wide famine because no one will want paper for money, then might the something-for-nothing crowd wake up, if they haven’t starved to death first. I hope you have a relationship with God because no Government anywhere is going to be able to stop what Washington and Wall Street has done until we all have to suffer a lot more than we have. If enough believers pray it is possible that God will slow this down but in the meantime keep your pantry full and buy only that which you really need and can afford. It’s not politically correct to tell you this but times are going to get a whole lot worse than most can even imagine. If your trust is in anything other than God it is likely to fail so great is the magnitude of “change” that is coming. Change is what the Teachers Unions and the SEIU and all the others wanted, including 53% of the public AND CHANGE IS WHAT WE ALL ARE GOING TO GET, on an unprecedented scale. May God help us because the government soon will not be able to do so and it wasn’t their job in the first place.

      • Jeanette Ambrose

…” and it wasn’t their job in the first place…”I agree,to trust in goobermint is folly.Yet my Friend, where are the older systems of support/charity…anything can happen to good bad or ugly people;since the deliberately dumbed-down and desperately numbed beLIEve in the illusions/Matrix ,esp via Tell-a-Vision and other media-’let ‘em depend !! on:goverment Programs?Private sector,so-called,steeped in folly and fear likely has nothing left to give or won’t care to if they do.Just today I heard of a tragedy within a working-class Family, betrayal of brother by brother…out of DESPERATION.Hungry kids no ‘money’;all jobs dryed up…
it is humans who beLIEve in the Great Snow Job.
It is the Truth that sets free, and the Truth is we have NO’money’ and Gold was harder for the bankstas to manipulate but whole nations still starved…
I finally get it:greed v. need and no law nor religion can wipe out that, only a genuine rebirth of the soul/conscience/person incarnate.I do admire the Courage of your convictions and God/Creator will prevail…through us or over us,I do not venture to fathom which….

Law too can work for evil/destructive ends, sadly.

There is no SS lockbox or trust, it was brken into by the congres in 1952 and has never been repaid or had the lock replaced. LBJ and the congress took $80 billion from the funds earmarked for SS during the Viet Nam War. This ponzi scheme money has never been repaid either and never will be as long as we keep putting the same kind of self aggrandizing crooks back in office and paying them large sums to steal from the tax payers.

We need some changes about who, what and how long these congressional folks are allowed to hold office.

    • s c

This is an area that drives me crazy. Conservatives know Soc Sec is a ponzi scheme. There is N O money left in Soc Sec. The government deals in computer IOUs instead of reality, and I have yet to find an ultralib who will admit that they, too, have been duped and abused.
Soc Sec should have been set up so people could opt out. As time went by, it would have been obvious that America was being hosed yet again by the government, and millions would have left Soc Sec so it could rot.
Ultralibs to this day deny there is anything wrong with Soc Sec. I finally decided I’m wasting my time trying to get an ultralib to understand – let alone admit that government is a monster that NEVER deserved any benefit of the doubt. Do we have to resort to ‘communicating’ with a big stick? An old joke talks about a Missouri farmer who found the one way to deal with a stubborn, reluctant jackass (a big stick between the eyes). It seems the joke is based in truth.
The rest of the cure involves the prevention of anyone becoming a career politician.

  • http://donthaveone Beberoni

I dont care what one might call it, but it still pisses me off when I see income deducted from my check for Federal Income Tax, and then I see billions of these dollars being given to GM and Chrysler to buy votes from the UAW with. Its not right. It is waste to give to companies that have shown over the years that they dont know how to properly run a business. The government has no business bailing them out. None at all. I dont see Honda and Toyota and Subaru or Ford needing a hand out. Wonder why?

    • Darrell Jr

Instead of getting angry, go to “lost” and get educated and learn what you can do bout this money scheme.

    • ccg

      I agree.

I heard on the news a couple of days ago that we are giving Pakistan several billion dollars???? And why this is I cannot fathom.
How can we afford to give other countries financial aid when we have had to borrow money from China and we are printing more money with no backing to it.

We are broke and they are still playing millionaire.

We need to keep calling and writing all of our congressmen. They are supposed to work for us, they are not our LEADERS, they are our Representatives and they keep forgetting this.

The smart people are not happy with them and they need to know it.

      • s c

CCG, we have a plague of world-class losers in Washington who think good government (in any country) can be ‘bought.’ Somehow, they don’t stop to remember that money never bought good government in America.
No one has to be a philosopher or an economist to know that good government can’t be bought and good government is never ‘for sale.’ That doesn’t stop our inferior ‘elites’ from trying. Even now, many Americans refuse to think twice about elected criminals who always put themselves before us. They earn outrageous salaries. They have health insurance we’ll never have. They are above the law. Some are afraid to ‘mingle’ with Americans in an open meeting. Many can’t get a job. Some couldn’t get a security clearance. Some are certifiable (crazy). A few care about America, and they’re always insulted by their ‘peers’ in Washington. Before too long, it will get to the point where an old saying from Vietnam applies [this is a take-off of Shakespeare's 'let's kill all the lawyers' - kill 'em all. let God sort 'em out]. It’s not like they didn’t have a chance to change their ways, ccg.

  • Thomas Bendoraitis

I have been saying this for decades…..Nuff said…public education teaches you how to be a serf, fear such as terrorism and safety give the cult the persuasive support they need to get you to die for them and theirs; ultimately they will appear as saviors but are intrinsically the perpetrators of hundreds of years of conflict and human suffering. In God I trust!

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.
CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast.
How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?
Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green.’
Acorn stages a demonstration in front of the ant’s house where the news stations film the group singing, ‘We shall overcome.’ Rev. Jeremiah Wright then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper’s sake.
Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.
Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.
The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar.
The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ant’s food while the government house he is in, which just happens to be the ant’s old house, crumbles around him because he doesn’t maintain it.
The ant has disappeared in the snow.
The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Be careful how you vote in 2010.

OH MY GOSH! Im ordering a Guiness – That was GENIUS. Nice piece of work Dave. Of course those that dont like the truth, dont understand who the grasshopper is. Hint – left.

I wish I could take credit, but I just adapted it from an Email I received.

        • Earlw

Dave- The story has been around for a while, but your version of it is the most creative, with the names of politicians personifying it…….I liked it! Good work!!! It’s so very true!!!!!!

    • Thurman Marcum

That is a fable told by Aesop. I never heard it told that way.

    • Normal Guy

Well if we are just doing the cut and paste thing like daves Fable. Here is a cut and paste response.

Exactly, why don’t THESE grasshoppers take responsibility for themselves. How dare they expect any empathy or humanity from us ants? We worked damn hard for what we ants have and any grasshopper that doesn’t have the same can only blame themselves for being lazy and stupid. I’ve never met a hard working ant that lost their job or home because of unforeseen medical expenses or a natural disaster. So it must be true! I’ve never known a grasshopper that wasn’t lazy and stupid just like their parents. So it must be true! Grasshoppers don’t want to work or try to better themselves and the only reason THESE grasshoppers are having a hard time in this economy can only be because they are lazy and stupid. We ants should just sit in our homes and smile while we look out our windows and watch all of these useless grasshoppers dying in the streets. Go America! I got mine! Screw you! XOXO The Ant King

Over 35 million Americans (over 12 million children) live below the poverty line (many without adequate food). There are 1.4 million children that experience homelessness in this country each year. Veterans make up one in four homeless people in the United States. Over 45 million people in this country cannot afford adequate health insurance.

And, you know what, I bet EVERY ONE of them deserves their fate because they didn’t take responsibility and spent all their time dancing around and being lazy. There’s nothing like homelessness and hunger to make you want to dance. Why couldn’t they just go to college and get a good job like us ants? Stupid grasshoppers. You know what else? I bet everyone that lost their jobs, homes, and savings in that so called “Great Depression” were all grasshoppers! Must have been, because no ant that worked for a living could have possibly lost their job and then needed to stand in a soup line to feed their family. Ants plan too carefully and have complete control over all aspects of their environment and society. Damn, I’m so glad I’m a hard working ant and not one of those lazy grasshoppers, because an ant can never end up like a grasshopper. I knew this one grasshopper, said he was working two jobs and had no debt, wife worked too while the two kids were in school, but then he was diagnosed with cancer, but his insurance didn’t cover all the expenses, the bills were so large that he fell behind on his mortgage and was evicted, due to the chemotherapy treatment he wasn’t strong enough to keep his night job at the loading docks, now he and his family are living in a shelter. Yeah, right! Please, these grasshoppers will say anything in order not to work and be responsible! Peace, The Ant King

Please forward this to all your superior ant friends.

      • DaveH

Even Obama isn’t using that trite 46 million figure anymore. Only about half of that 46 million truly can’t afford medical insurance.
So what is your solution? Create more middle men to suck up more money and interfere more with the doctor/patient relationship?
The government has created this problem with competition stifling licensing requirements, and medical malpractice lawsuits, and lack of interstate competition among insurance companies. With the exception of perhaps catastrophic occurrences, we would all be better off paying out of our pockets. There would be a lot more scrutiny of the necessity of doctor visits if we paid cash money for the visits. And the middle-man would be gone, except perhaps for those people who wanted to invest in major-medical insurance to protect against expensive unusual occurrences.
There would be no financial problems for anyone who was willing to work if the government wasn’t wasting our tax money as fast as they can.
I can’t imagine anybody thinking that impoverishing our country is going to help the less fortunate.
If you are going to support theft, then at least have the dignity to not attempt to take the moral high-ground.

Id say that all of us need to take responsibility for where we are, because the facts show that over 90 percent of the people that are homeless, are they of their own doing via drugs, alcohol, or just ripping people off including relatives that wont let them stay with them anymore. Sorry, I dont feel sorry for those who feel they should live the life of reilly, party all day and night, rip people off, then feel I should come take care of them after they blow it all. Nope, they made a bed, they can live it in. With that said, however, those who truly want to repent from their past life, and start again, I gladly help them, giving to the local mission and doing mission trips to help those less fortunate than myself. Your letter is a typical left wing liberal response, where you want us to feel guilty about working hard and applying ourselves and being responsible human beings, and that in your mind we should be punished and give what we have to the “unfortunate”, that has chose to make himself that way. Sorry, homey dont play that crap.

It is true, ants work hard and still… when a foot crushes or pesticide is sprayed…we,being human get a different spraying and boots come and go…this fear( of having not the’resources’ to care for oneself/one’s own,and death of course…although all ‘die’to be sure few TRULY live…)generates the greed and the indifference to others. How long will we beLIEve in this being the only possible way?Ideas are dangerous.WHEN they can alter history in favor of “equal before the Law”…only holds so long as Law is honorable, and evenly applied.I go in circles…

can we not see through the illusions?I do not condone true”laziness” yet realize that not all desire to have a lavish lifestyle;were the”dollar” not debased then one could work say 20 hours or so per week and have enough”money” for the essentials…as to medical care…allopathy is good crisis medicine but there are other things that don’t demand expensive, dangerous drugs/surgeries,which ought to be a last resort in most case(only my observation&opinion)as no drug CURES only manages symptoms-although to deny that option due to”money” is criminal…but some do engage in self-destructive”risky” behaviors…the rabbit hole deepens, shall we outlaw free-will?…
I have survived homelessness with small children, most can’t talk of it as they FEAR that they might be next or that it is contagious?
Of course without all the illusions and Ponzis, the bankstas and the career politicians, the graft&collusion, and our indifference to suffering this couldn’t continue..but yes,the one in the mirror, she is the only one I can hope to change for the better and not on hope but beads of blood on my forehead, and tears shed for all this needless pain, evil, suffering…for Au or for fiat,we have condemned ourselves…

      Nice job on this comment.

  • DaveH

Bob Livingston, I think I will have less trouble convincing the people to vote Libertarian, than you will have getting them to grasp money creation.

    • s c

DaveH, part of the solution is to force budding politicians to sign a contract before they get elected. That is, a prospective election winner willingly agrees (and signs the contract). Specific conditions are to be met, and when any condition is violated, that yahoo is out of office, and a replacement is put in office under the same terms as the original contract.
Why are elected twits allowed to be professional weasels, when it is the PEOPLE who suffer? Put the burden on the politicians! They perform, OR THEY ARE G O N E!

Might be onto something there…we ryots get fired if we screw it up endlessly…

The Only thing that May get the country straightened out is if The american people ever Learn how to put a stop to the corruption we now have in Washington,DC That is to Vote everyone that has been in office Two(2) Terms Out,and that is Everyone,Both Party,s.But that will happen when i am able to Jump Over The Moon.

    • DaveH

Corruption goes hand-in-hand with an oversized-government. If we want to eliminate corruption then we need to scale the size of the government way back as our forefathers intended it to be.

    • Jeanette Ambrose

      Well,I follow your general drift,but I wouldn’t myself kick out “Dr.No”/Ron Paul,for one example…

I believe you have a fundamental flaw in your argument. Just because it is possible to print an infinity of dollars, does not mean that infinite dollars are printed. Inflation is a function of supply and demand. The large number of printed dollars will drive up inflation, and the value of the dollar will fall. Only sound fiscal management, i.e. not wasting tax payers dollars will return stability to the dollar. Unfortunately the people in power are unlikely to persue this direction as they want to keep status quo.

    • Jeanette Ambrose

Agreed…the ones with the reins drive the cart…

I think the purpose and the benefit of why the elites would do this is an excuse to create a new currency called the amero, that would be used to create a north american union, like the European union. It would give them more control over our country and make the constitution less valid. They control the money which means they can control us,It simply means you can’t live without their money.

  • one old dog

what do you think healthcare reform is all about, all of this is to destroy the middle class wealth, then, to remake the country into some twisted perversion of what is now so far still a somewhat free country.
we have had for a long time been programmed to accept the loss of our freedoms via the school and colleges. I first noticed this several years after the Viet Nam war, when a lot of draft dodging, malcontents, got into the colleges as professors, who trained the next generations of teachers. Now, they do not teach how great the country is, and all the good it has done, or about our real history. only about mistakes that have been made, but not, how we corrected them as a people. “BY KEEPING US DIVIDED, THEY WIN,” white and black, rich and poor, democrat and republican. THEY KEEP PLAYING US, and as a people , we buy into it and they have their way. and the biggest player currently is the P.O.T.U.S. and staff.( CONGRESS )

A little bit off this subject. I’ve thought about this for some time. Why would anyone vote for a guy with the initials BO? I guess they didn’t have a keen sense of smell. Most of his change seems to stink. Just like what other countries think of the dollar now.
Ergo, BO! MMM MMM MMM. Is that what those kids in Joisey were stinking thinking?

It is going to take time. The man Has been in office only seven months. It took the Bush and Cheney administration eight years to create a deficit and a war that may take years to end. We had a surplus from the Clinton presidency only to lose it.We need to hang in there and support him.We are his bosses,if he doesn’t live up to our expectations we vote him out.We live in a beautiful democrated country.

      • Robert

Are you kidding? He won the Nobel Piece Prize only two weeks into his administration. Anyone who can do that can do anything. When he gets a chance to relax from his hectic schedule, he’ll find a cure for cancer and jock itch.

You need to google George Soros and find out who this man is and his relationship to Obama and left/liberial organization. He Soros, the rockafellers and john Kerry have all donated millions to the Tides organization,Acorn and others. Soros does not believe in god, wants an open society, wants drugs legalized. He is running the Obama puppet. this soros guy was born in Hungry a Jew, Family changed the name during the holcaust, and actually helped take land belonging to jew for the nazis. He is a evil, very angry,Saddly he is pulling the Obama puppet string. Yes pray. Pray for us good, kind people will not suffer.

    • s c

Not that many people are familiar with ‘b o,’ Robert. Most
likely, it means nothing to the ultralib crowd, as they suffer from chronic opententitis, which forces them to endure anything and everything so they can ‘get along.’
In comrade obama’s case, it wouldn’t matter if flies buzzed around him and your eyes teared up just because you were close to him, ultralibs would do their best to ignore that ‘eccentricity.’
There’s at least one ultralib comment on this topic that implies comrade obama needs a lot of time to get things done. To me, any prez who’s been in office for less than a year and manages to make Carter look like an innocent child is someone we can’t afford to have around for more than one term. BHO/BO doesn’t pack the gear. He has no plans of his own making. Look behind that curtain, and see the yahoo for who he really is, folks. The Wizard of Oz might serve a purpose. Comrade obama is a one-man lost cause. Maybe we can get Venezuela or North Korea to adopt him.

  • Chris

Ditto the following said by “sc” above because it is “ONLY” when they are held “accountable” with “immediate” kick-out-of-office action that change will come. Those getting elected are either “do-nothings” or do “against” the people and it’s high time that change and people take back the government that is “supposed” to be “FOR” the people! The problem is “how do we get this enacted? Petitions?” It’s pretty bad when you hear “oh I didn’t vote FOR that person, I voted AGAINST the other candidate”…..pretty bad if you ask me. It’s high time bills stand alone so that bad bills riding piggy-back DON’T get passed. It’s high time special interests are ignored. It’s high time the FDA get out of the pockets of the drug companies. It’s high time we stop torturing animals in labs at the hands of repetitious white-coat welfare and adopt alternative nonanimal experiments since most of the drugs approved by the FDA “harm” when it is ALREADY KNOWN what each drug component/chemical does…..and for those we don’t know, test them on the criminals in prisons and not on some innocent creatures! It’s high time we stop raping the rainforests and losing “real” God-given cures. It’s high time people NOT be “forced” to have a medical procedure done if they don’t want it and want to try another form of alternative treatment that the FDA has NO BUSINESS BANNING BECAUSE THEY DO SUCH A “WONDERFUL” JOB……what the hell happened to our so-called “F-R-E-E-D-O-M”? It’s high time taxes are LOWERED because someone has enough brains to sit down and see where every penny is being spent; if I, as a citizen, see the waste, why can’t someone being “PAID” see it? Or they DO and just ignore it. Let’s start with the scum in prison and THAT will save a whole lot of tax dollars……but what do I read? That they are building “MORE” prisons = “MORE” tax dollars…..duh! Let’s get rid of death row and start frying this scum as soon as they walk through the prison doors and NOT after they’ve been in there sucking up tax dollars for years…….and I’ll push the button for FREE because I’m thinking of their victims. Why should good “law-abiding” and “hard-working” taxpayers who have families to feed, clothe, shelter, and educate “care” about this scum? They get it easy in prison and their victims get NOTHING! What is wrong with this picture? Good people shouldn’t “have” to walk the streets in fear of getting mugged/killed just like I read in my local newspaper EVERY DAY! And for those who are against the death penalty for this scum, we’ll send them to “your” house to serve out their sentence and “you” pay for them…….how’s “THAT”? And for illegal drug pushers, I say make them eat every bit of drug they’re pushing and we won’t have to worry about “them” anymore! Crime will only increase because the criminals know their lives are not on the line……once you start frying the scum, THEN see where the rate of crime goes. I’m not talking here about those who may be innocent, but about those who are REALLY guilty without a doubt because of DNA evidence or witnesses and there are plenty of this scum out there…..and for those murderers who are the most dangerous and deemed “insane”, fry them too because their minds are NOT COMING BACK! Now…….who wants to financially back “me” so that “I” can run for President :)

      You have my vote!

    • Jeanette Ambrose

Yep,yer Fed UP,alright Chris…I can relate to much of what you have said…as to frying”them” I have my moments…trouble being that it is still difficult to know for certain whodunit,at least in in some cases-but yes,the ones that are for certain child/woman molesters/rapists/murderers;why are we thinking we can “rehabilitate” them, esp.the ones with repeat offenses? I doubt it…but prisons make”jobs” and so there is need for prisoners…given the lack of moral restraint from the inside( a conscience) there seems no lack of the depraved. Then too,how many people will carry their own defense aka a gun or??,they,if allowed to,won’t..too risky so:a police force is needed….yah,it’s so inverted now.Utter chaos…just what the elite need to implement more”security”…oh and “health care”-you will take their medicine/inoculations or else… or else what?
It is ignorance which has divided us all,let us seek truth and then allow Wisdom&Mercy their due…be prepared in your mind, body, spirit…the scales WILL balance, politicians or no…

  • Robert

There is something called the Multiple Expansion Theory and one tool the FRB can do to increase the money supply without having to actually print more paper money is lower the federal reserve requirements all National banks have to place with the FED. When is someone going to look into this monetary policy. I guarantee those traders in the FX market know in advance when the FED changes the reserve requirement so that they can lock into a guaranteed windfall profit. All with the blessings of our wonderfully elected politicians. You know, re-election contributions are hard to come by in these tough economic times.

  • DaveH

Less than 120 million people in this country are working. That is out of a population of 330 million people.
How many of those are employed in negatively-productive jobs? That is they detract from the human condition rather than improve it. I would include many of the lawyers, and many of the politicians in this group.

    • eyeswideopen

DaveH, some info you didn’t identify. 27.6 % of population is under 20 years old. 12.6 % are 65 and older. So roughly 40 % are non working due to age or retirement. I also didn’t get the numbers for the age of 20 and over who are enrolled in school fulltime. I also didn’t look up the total of disabled veterans or others. You may want to reassess your figures and conclusion. But just using the above stats make your base 184 instead of 330. Plus we we only have 307 million not 330.

  • one old dog

As one of those who has served our country, a long time ago, I say we have to merge all these various groups who do believe in their country and the god given right to be free , no matter what you call your god, and the blessings of liberty for all men as stated in our constitution.
in Israel and other societies throughout history, all had to serve, in the defense of their society. We should ask no less of ourselves, than to do all we can, to keep it free for the next generation, as our founders did for us. Ben Franklin said We gave you a Republic, if you can keep it,to a question asked of him. We are in danger of not keeping it! We all, need to let this administration, both Reps. and Dems. know nothing less, than getting back to constitutional law is acceptable. No! to special Interests. No! to deficit spending, it is nothing but theft from us and our kids and grand-kids ad infinitum. Let us get back to hard currency, single purpose bills in congress term limits, states rights that have been stolen and especially Individuals rights that have been impugned on every level of government, from the Federal government, down to the local township where people have been told to sit down and shut up, not in a free society.!! EVER!

    • Jeanette Ambrose

Salute to one old dog-skullduggery it is indeed…hey congress-critters…somebody’s WATCHING you…that would be us,the Sovereigns. You,our’elected’(??!!)Representatives who Serve to keep the people Free!!!As the Constitution is for restraining government, not We,the People, from enjoying our lives,Liberty…pursuit of happiness not enslavement to goobermint!

  • one old dog

Be a ten minute patriot, let your elected officials know every day six days a week that you are watching them and what they are doing and keep informed, so you know the skullduggery they are up to. join other groups who are doing the same and be careful of their lies

  • DaveH

Back to Money creation. I think that whoever prints the money should not be allowed to do so without so form of collateral. It should be backed by something like gold, silver, platinum, palladium, or some other tangible commodity asset (maybe land) or a combination of those items. And the holder of the money should be allowed to redeem it at any time for the underlying commodity of their choice (from the asset pool).
Their would be no ‘monetizing of the debt’. The only way the government could borrow money from the money creator would be if they supplied collateral in exchange, such as government-owned land or some other government-owned tangible commodity. There would be none of this crap about backing by the “full faith and credit of the US government”.

    • Robert

The dollar is backed by our National GNP. It’s held in the same lock box as our social security funds. I just don’t what a GNP looks like or it’s color. But our politicians know all about that stuff and are keeping it safe for us. Boy, I can’t believe that so many of you don’t trust our politicians. They’re like guardian angels or Mother Thereasa. Always looking our for our best interest. Sacrificing their lives for us. How selfish we all are. Now don’t you feel ashamed and guilty. That’s better, now go to work and pay your taxes so we can solve all the worlds problems and find a cure for athletes foot.

  • JC

Isn’t it ironic how in spite of all the information we have at our disposal. history still ends up repeating itself. Central banks have been at the center of every major empire and ultimately responsible for their downfall. Although we don’t have an emperor per say , given our global influence, the US is as close to a modern empire as possible.

Is this not unlike the last days of the Roman Empire? To distract the masses of the reality of high unemployment, reduced productivity, and yes, even a mortgage crisis, they created the gladiator games. The ignorant masses, delighted from the distraction of their personal plight, sat back while the world crumbled around them and the empire collapsed under its own weight. Over 50% of the Roman populace was receiving some form of govt assistance. Sound vaguely familar? Instead of gladiator games, we have endless hours of TV where mindless sex and violence are pumped into each home. Since its virtual and nobody really gets hurt, we call ourselves civilized.

  • Reverend Ira L. Lewis

I am glad that this Observed Truth has been revealed about the fact that the dollar is apparition that was created by evil spirit of man. If God says in His Word (The Bible) that He is not a respecter of man; which mean as our Declaration of Independence so truthfully quote WE HOLD THESE TRUTHS THAT ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL. But, just as Revelation warns us about THE MARK OF THE BEAST (666) which is printed on the bottom layer of bricks of the pyramid on the back of the dollar bill; Money is the form of which man uses to have dominion over man. There is nothing on this Earth that was created by man, yet he made MONEY for controlling these things to make himself superior over man. That type of man is deceived by the Evil Spirit of Satan/Lucifer/the Old Serpent/The Devil which is warned about in the 14th chapter of Isaiah and Revelation 20:2-3, who have DECEIVED man from the very beginning (Genesis 3:17). That is why I understand that man is constantly gullibly deceived by the cunning evil spirit of Satan/The Devil. The only thing that is going to save man is accepting what God did for man through His Word (Jesus Christ) that became flesh and hung on the cross for the saving of man by his Death Burial and Resurrection. God Bless whomever will see and hear The Word of GOD and believe for their salvation. It is TRUE, Money is just a vapor to infinity of the existence of man.

  • harold hunter

That ain’t nothing! When the giverment prints a $100.00 dollar bill the cost is around .02 cents, giving the giverment a profit of $99.98
and then it is paid to someone that immedately is taxed 25-60%. The hundred dollar turns over, sometimes multiple times per week, each time creating another $25-60 each and every time. Bernard Maddof should be realeased from prison and apologized to. Bank robbers can’t hold a candle to our giverment, what a scam! Think of how many times a hundred dollar bill turns over before it is worn out. The only way it gets worse is when the hundred dollar bill is deposited into a bank then it gets multiplied by the fractional banking system and they loan out ten times that hundred. Now wonder this country is off the cliff. The best investments today are canned goods, seeds for a garden, and take care of yourself medical media along with medicines.

    • Robert

Very nicely put. When do you think the dollar will be worth zero? The way the government is printing and spending money, we’re in for terrible inflation in the not so distant future.
