The End Is Near

October 31, 2012 by

The End Is Near
PHOTOS.COM

We’re almost done with the endless parade of stupidity that has been the 2012 electoral season. We’re almost done listening to Mitt Romney try very hard to establish the conservative credentials he avoided until sometime in March. We’re almost through with enduring President Barack Obama’s daily litany of disgraceful lying. We’re almost finished watching party flacks wail, corporate media trash spin and self-appointed experts bloviate.

Almost.

On Tuesday, those of us who have yet to cast our ballots (that’s most of us) will step into polling places nationwide and partake of our still Constitutionally protected right to select the man who, right or wrong, will then become the single most important human being on the planet. In some heavily Democratic districts and selected cemeteries, some of us will partake of that right more than once. Afterward, those ballots will be counted — again, some more than once. The totals will be checked, the absentee and provisional ballot numbers (except for the ones the Democrats have thrown into the nearest convenient storm drain, Great Lake or community activist’s basement) will be tallied, and Ann Romney will begin selecting new drapes for the White House residency.

Again, almost.

What I’ve described represents the most likely scenario to unfold over the next 10 days. However, thanks to the magic of the U.S. Constitution, the possibility exists that Election 2012 may well make the George Bush-Al Gore battle of 2000 look like a disputed ballot for homecoming queen.

As of this moment, polling indicates Romney holds a slight lead in the popular vote, but he and Obama are running neck and neck for the Electoral College vote. Although a disparity in the popular and Electoral College results is highly unlikely (such an outcome has occurred only twice), lurking in the ballot booth is an even less common — but even more potentially catastrophic — finale. Romney and Obama could tie.

As is the norm for Presidential elections (they can’t all be Ronald Reagan v. Walter Mondale), neither of the major party candidates is likely to steamroll the other. However, should a couple of swing States fall in a certain way, Romney and Obama actually could wind up with 269 Electoral College votes apiece. For the victims of teachers’ unions, that’s one short of the number needed to forward your mail to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Indeed, the website 270towin.com offers different scenarios, some of which don’t stretch credulity particularly far, in which the swing States from Nevada to New Hampshire split between Romney and Obama and create the worst Constitutional crisis since Obamacare.

Just imagine the fun we would all have. With Romney and Obama splitting the Electoral College down the middle (presuming some elector doesn’t bolt his party, itself the political equivalent of a hand grenade in the proverbial potato salad), the responsibility for electing the next President would immediately fall to the 435 passengers in the Capitol Clown Car: the U.S. House of Representatives.

If one believes the Democrats’ overt threats of murder, rioting and other behavior currently spreading across Twitter and social media outlets like a scorching case of something carried by Lady Gaga and reminiscent of the so-called “Occupiers” (or of Detroit when the Pistons win the NBA title), then the House will convene while the Nation burns.  Given the current makeup of the House and the fact that even the most extreme liberal outlets like The New York Times and Dailykos agree that the GOP will keep control of the body through the elections, the House subsequently will proclaim Romney the new President.  Following that announcement, the aforementioned Motor City and a host of America’s other garden spots and States will fall into the sort of chaos that normally accompanies a pack of Skittles and what the media calls a “white Hispanic.”

Presuming said unrest doesn’t make the rest of the country look like East St. Louis, Ill., after a Louis Farrakhan speech, we’ll all get to enjoy the second act: the election of the Vice President. That’s right, kids. The House elects the President, and the Senate elects the guy (or gal; we’ll get back to that) who stands next to the Commander in Chief and gazes longingly at “the button.” And the Senate is projected to remain under the thumb of reprobate liar and accused serial farm-animal abuser (that’s what I heard, anyway) Senator Harry Reid and his Democratic do-nothings. Therefore, President Romney would be joined by Vice President Joe Biden. Even the gridlock of the 2006-2008 House under then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi would seem like a meeting of the ladies’ sewing circle compared to the legislative pileup that would ensue.

In actuality, the real outcome of an Electoral College split actually would send us even farther off the deep end. Instead of staying in the Naval Observatory, Biden would join his boss, Obama, at the Michael Dukakis Home for Formerly Relevant Politicians. Biden is a national embarrassment whose invitation to all the cool parties at the White House depends entirely on Obama’s largesse. Once Obama hits the unemployment line, the Senate Democrats would experience no qualms about placing someone less likely to make racist comments about the guys behind the counter at the 7-Eleven, someone more likely to set the stage for a resurgence of Democratic power in Washington, someone like Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

With Romney in the Oval Office, Clinton just down the hall, the House controlled by the GOP and the Senate controlled by the Democrats, the pace of business in Washington would likely roll to a pace slower than Al Sharpton running uphill in a hurricane. Scandals would follow scandals with even more frequency than they do currently. Voters nationwide would unite in ubiquitous disgust at the stupendous incompetence of and hyper-partisan quibbling by the people charged with the day-to-day operation of everything from the military to the Federal prison system.

The above scenario is hardly the most likely outcome of next week’s festivities. But it is a possibility — a worst-case result that could plunge the Nation into absolute disarray. However, the long-term blowback from an Electoral College tie between Romney and Obama actually offers a real light at the end of the tunnel. Despite the failure of the two major parties to reach meaningful accord, there was no realistic chance for a third party candidate to legitimately challenge them for the Presidency in 2012.

Four years of a Romney/Clinton “Administration” would not only break the stranglehold in which the current two-party system holds our future, it could even force the Republicans and Democrats to meet in a new battle: the fight to determine who gets to remain one of the two “major” parties and who gets to hang out with the lunatics from the Green Party at the also-rans convention in 2016.

If memory serves if nobody gets 270 the house elects the potus (one vote per state) the top two so it would be either Romney or Oboma but the senate elects the vp from the top THREE so it could not be Hillary it would be Ryan,Biden or a third party person whoever that would be

    • Jon

The real problem in this scenario would be expecting the worthless congress to come up with any decision before 2014.

    • AZ-Ike

Actually Amendment XII states the opposite of your memory. If no presidential candidate receives a majority of the electoral vote, the House of Representatives, using one vote per State, votes from the top three candidates–by a quorum (2/3 of the House present and voting=33 States,) and a majority vote (26) of all 50 States.

The Senate then votes for the Vice President from the top two candidates, [using the same 1 vote per state and the same 2/3 quorum and majority of all States (26) vote.]

Hilary Clinton, who is not a candidate for President or Vice-President, could not legally be considered for either position.

      • Jim

        I stand corrected

  • Harold Olsen

On one of our local news shows last week, they talked about this scenario. The House would select the president, which, likely, would be Romney. The Senate, with the Senate’s president (guess who?) selecting the VP. So, we could end up with a GOP president and a Democrat VP.

    • Warrior

Maybe there’s a scenario where john roberts could render a “non-decision”. Wouldn’t that be a hoot!

      • Ted Gager

No big deal for injustice Roberts. He’ll just re-write whatever is put in front of him and make it stand constitutional muster by applying the proposed legislation to the constitution instead of the other way around.. He thinks he’s Monte Hall playing ‘Lets Make It Law’! He should be Impeached, Disbarred and Prosecuted!

    • walter agard

You are like little kids. Are you wishing for something or what?President OBAMA will win the second time, and you know it.

      • http://www.robstgeorge.com Rob (StGeorge) Manwiller

I’ll take some of that action…say about $5,000? Put up, or shut up, libtard.

      • Robert Smith

Obama will win, it’s that siimple.

After all, George W. Bush got a second term after Gore beat him in the popular vote.

        Rob

      • DaveH

2 to 1 of the commenters so far say Obama will win. It really doesn’t matter, Obama or Romney, most of the rest of us lose. Some lose knowingly. Most don’t know they’ve lost.

      • eddie47d

So true Dave yet “repubtard” Manwiller is a typical gambler who should have made it a $10,000 bet in solidarity with Romney. Seems like Republicans like to throw money around too! LOL!

      • http://liberty Tony

To Mr. agard: Unfortunate but true what you say. Also, if a split did occur, a sit. would be set up for co-presidents of Obama/Romney, a coalition gov. Yuck!!

      • http://alsina846.wordpress.com millie

        To walter Agard,
why would you want obama to win? his healthcare alone is all wrong on many levels and it has the death panel, you better pray that you or a love one won’t a need a life saving medication or operation. The government will decide if you or your love ones are worth saving. obama is a communist who will transform this country to another 3 world country. He wants US citizen to be depend it on government. You sir are ill informed about this muslim communist in the white house. Do your research on this communist!!! do be a moron. It is morons ill inform people like yourself that will vote for a communist. By the time useful idiots like you wake up it will be too late. DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THIS MAN!!!

      • eddie47d

Spreading untruths again Millie? It was corporate banksters who screwed the economy and sunk the middle class. I know you hold those crony capitalist near and dear but they are the ones turning this country into “a third world nation” . They got theirs and to heck with the rest of us. Has little to do with any wacky “communist” conspiracy.

      • JTB

Get out your crying towel you’re going to need it. obama is history and he knows it and now so do you!

      • momo

@eddie47d, I agree with you about the bankers, but that begs the question, why were there no criminal prosecutions?

      • Nadzieja Batki

You don’t even believe that your O will win. You are afraid, why else would you make your comment on this site. Trying to convince yourself because you are not convincing the Conservatives, Libertarians, or Republicans who post on this site.

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Jayson

What exactly will he win, Walter…if he should, win? Same question would apply to Romney, as well. Some are so intent, obsessed, that one or the other win, yet, never counting the cost and sorrow that will be the result should either one (win)! The question you should ask yourself; what will i loose, should either one (win)?

      • http://liberty Tony

        To Mrs. Batki:
Mr. Agard is right, unfortunately. Check this out: http://www.usaelectionspolls.com. This poll is usually dead on. Sorry!!

      • DaveH

Eddie says — “Spreading untruths again Millie? It was corporate banksters who screwed the economy and sunk the middle class. As usual, Eddie has a weak grasp of what is really going on. Yes, Crony Bankers are a problem, as are Crony Capitalists (those businessmen seeking political protection from the rigors of Free Markets), as are the Crony Politicians who work together with the formers, so as to seek financing for their continued reelections.
What binds all of these people together? The quest for Power and Perks that accrue to those people unfairly at the expense of the rest of us. That includes Communists who Eddie dismisses so lightly. They are all Non-Producers who want to achieve status and wealth unfairly at the expense of the Real Producers.
And that isn’t going to change until the people educate themselves and face the reality that Big Government meddling isn’t the solution, whether it be meddling with our Domestic Markets, or International Markets. When they meddle, it is for their enrichment, not ours.
The solution is to get back to Free Markets with Government reserved strictly to protect peoples’ bodies and property rights from the force of others, not from themselves.
When Leaders claim to be doing what’s best for us, whether they be “capitalist” or “communist”, take it with a very big grain of salt, because more than likely they’re looking out from themselves and could care less about what happens to the rest of us.
        That includes Eddie the Unionist.

      • Val

        You Wish…Obama will lose…Thank God!!!

Agreed MOMO that has baffled me also which shows they are all in cahoots.

      • MattN

Of course Obama will win (having votes counted in Spain by 26 states and enough fraud to swing the other states due to no ID checks) he WILL win.

  • Ethan

Those who count the votes will decide who wins. Between illegal aliens and the dead voting, rigged electronic voting machines, scanners, tainted voting rolls and cheaters, we will never know who actually won from the top down. If you still think you have a Constitutional Republic with duly elected representatives…well then… you have the mind of a child. Until we have a grass roots movement to dump the Criminal Cabal who runs this country: I’m staying home.

    • eddie47d

More grandstanding assumptions that there is voter fraud in every nook and cranny within our country. The comment about ballots being flushed down the sewer drain was nothing more than cheap journalism. Then there is James O’Keefe who tried to pull another sting against Democrats but his plots was foiled again. This was in Arlington Virginia where O’Keefe and gang tried to get Democrats to cast fraudulent ballots on Oct 24th. Republicans have their set up teams trying to provoke voter fraud and its not working. Maybe O’Keefe should go back to attempted burglary such as in the break in at Mary Landrieu’s office.

      • JTB

You’re so right about the “cheap journalism” MSM, MSNBC, NBC, ABC,CBS, CNN, NPR just to name a few!

      • Jonathan Martin

Everywhere that Democrats have sway, there IS vote fraud!! This is not a tactic of last resort for them, it is standard operating procedure! And by the way, James O’Keefe and his people are doing wonderful work, shining the blessed light of truth on the corruption of the Democrats; I wish we had ten thousand more like him!

      • eddie47d

So Jonathan the “Conservative” Republican believes in breaking and entering to achieve his goals. Combating fraud by using your own fraud and deceit. Kind of cancels things out don’t you think. It actually may make you the bigger culprit.

      • Buster the Anatolian

There are reports from two more states (Kansas and Ohio) about votes for Romney being recorded as votes for obama.

    • http://google James Brown

Staying home is a vote for BHO, man up make an informed decision.

    • roger

Well said, which is why some 90 plus million of us wised up and quit playing this stupid game. It makes no difference which clown wins, aint nothing changing come inauguration day or the 4 years that follow…………

      • Leonardoo

Evil wins when good men do nothing as the saying goes. To vote is a sacred duty, a responsibility one must exercise as a citizen. And if you care for the well-being of yourself and to a greater extent to loyalty to the country, and maybe aware of the fact that the country is heading towards a fiscal cliff. heading toward unimaginable unemployment rate, more millions of americans in food stamps, higher medical costs, and a weak nation in the community of nations, your vote is very important. Only nimcompooks cannot see the potency of the ballot to the needed REAL CHANGE.

    • Nancy in Nebraska

I agree with you, Ethan! It’s the COUNTING of the votes that matters! I have to say, I AM FURIOUS!!! I just listened to a clip from a LOCAL radio station. There was an interview with one of the UN watchers! He actually SAID that when the UN looks at the map of our country and sees that the two coasts are blue and the middle is red, that it is obvious to them that there is voter suppression going on in the middle of our country!!! he SAID that while they’re monitoring OUR voting precincts, that if one side is handing out more pins, literature etc than the other side, they will take the materials away from the side that has more! SO IT WILL BE FAIR!!! He SAID they have the authority to STOP anyone, ask for ID and FRISK THEM!!! They had better NOT be at MY precinct because I will tell them to get the [comment has been edited] OUT!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING IN AMERICA!!! Here’s a link so you can listen yourself!!!

What else can we expect from an organization that was created By the Leaders For the Leaders?

      • Nancy in Nebraska

When a woman caller commented that the country was blue on the outside and red in the middle because Midwesterners are conservatives and always have been, he said she was speaking in CODE and was calling for violence! He said, her reference to blue on the outside and red on the inside was calling for blood! HE was the one that pointed out that the outside states were blue and the middle states, red!!! She was just commenting on HIS statement!!! WE NEED TO GET THE un OUT OF OUR COUNTRY AND GET OUR COUNTRY OUT OF THE un!!!!!!!!

      • DaveH

        I agree, Nancy.
Get US out of the UN!

Ten Reasons to get us out of the UN:
        http://frontpagemag.com/upload/pamphlets/UN.pdf

      • Frank Kahn

Just listened to the interview, wow, talk about bias. A world citizen? More like an Obama supporter.

I noted, in his responses, that he was saying that they were there to take action against Republican / conservatives. In his example he said FOR INSTANCE IF REPUBLICANS ARE DOING SOMETHING THAT HARMS SAY THE DEMOCRATS WE WILL STEP IN AND MAKE IT MORE FAIR why did he use the republicans as the bad people? And, apparently conservatives are drunks that are looking to kill people.

He was given the right to become an ARMED controller of our right to vote by who? INTERPOL (INTERNATIONAL POLICE).

I guess my whole day on Nov. 6th is going to be filled with UN OBSERVER harassing. We are going to have to hit the pols and distract and annoy those observers so they cant interfere with out legal voting practices.

Oh, and, the Black Panthers were just observers and the media gave out miss-information about their purpose.

Lets see now, the fact that the middle of the US is all red means there is voter manipulation, but the fact that both coasts are blue is natural?

It is illegal in this country to require ID’s for voting (decreed by the Obama administration) because it will keep the poor (democrats) from voting.

Well, from what I heard in the interview, now the UN OBSERVERS are going to the RED (REPUBLICAN) states and going to use the concept of VOTER ID’S on those citizens.

Do you think that they will allow you to vote if your ID does not check out? Will the let you vote if you forget your ID?

Unequal campaign materials observed and confiscated? So, 98% of the voters in that precinct are for Romney and all wear campaign pins, well that is not equal representation of campaign materials so they will have to give them up.

Maybe I am just biased towards the other side of the coin but, didnt his words sound an awful lot like the talking heads of the Democrat party?

        • http://www.facebook.com/tony.newbill1 Tony Newbill

          TEST
Romney is right About Russia being our biggest Energy Price Threat and the USA needing to start drilling and developing every energy resource we have NOW and Obama is Playing footsie with Russia by saying he would have MORE FLEXIBILITY when He gets reelected while Gas Prices are getting higher because of what Russia is doing… check this article out!

Nancy, if you heard the comments made on KFAB today [ref. Obummer's refusal to do the right thing], spread the word. Obummer’s arrogant, self-serving stupidity should cost him what’s left of his miserable, political career. ANY ‘prez’ who can turn his back on an ambassador or a Navy Seal (two, actually) is someone who isn’t fit to clean toilets in the White House – let alone be called a “leader.”

      • Randy W

The radio show in the link was a satirical commentary on the U.N. observers.

        • needfulthings

          Oh YES!!!
This is what it’s come to, folks. A coalition of eight civil rights groups is worried enough about possible voter suppression that it has asked the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, an IGO affiliated with the UN, to monitor our elections.
They were also here during the 2004 election noting that dubya stole the 2000 vote and was APPOINTED by the right wing Supreme Court!

Don’t worry folks, there is no test here, No need to pay attention to whatz going on in your country

  • Paul Wells

This would certainly be a sad, sad scenario. It makes me uneasy that the unions, and the ACLU and other leftist liberal groups are behind these “U.N. polling monitors”. I can conceive there will be more dead people voting than ever in this election, and so far as I can see, only Texas has stood up and said no dice to the idea. A tie would be awful, and I predict pockets of murder and mayhem in this fair land of ours, if that is a result.

    • Nancy in Nebraska

The un observer that was interviewed on our local radio station SAID that obumass ASKED the un to come and observe our elections!!! He SAID that, as citizens of the world, they had the authority!!! We’re in trouble, people!!! We’ve LOST our sovereignity!!! It’s been handed to the un!!!

      • Nadzieja Batki

A lot of hot air to justify his UN job. This is nothing more than braggadocio from a two legged predator trying to convince the prey to give up because he the wolf is stronger and more ferocious.

    • eddie47d

By the rules of International Law OCSE an affiliate of the UN has every right to monitor our elections and ANY election within any member state. This is from Hills Global Affairs column. They did it in 2002 and 2004 and few cared. Now that Obama is President it has become a “hot topic”. I’m not agreeing with outside observers just he absolute hypocricy of what can be allowed under Republican administrations yet won’t be tolerated under a Democrat administration. Why is it news now?

      • dunce

The reason nobody complained before was because before people were not aware of the extent of vote fraud across the country. everyone knew about Chicago and New york but they got the government they deserved. Now it is clear that rigged elections have spread across the land. Before no one cared about any observers because there really was nothing to see.

      • TML

Eddie says, “By the rules of International Law OCSE an affiliate of the UN has every right to monitor our elections and ANY election within any member state. Why is it news now?”

I’m sure it was just as disturbing news then, as it is now, for those (myself included)who don’t agree with relinquishing any sovereignty to foreign bodies – or being a part of the Organization for Security and Co-Operation in ‘Europe’ (OSCE) if it means being subject to such organization in a way described by Nancy.

Nancy said, “….they’re monitoring OUR voting precincts, that if one side is handing out more pins, literature etc than the other side, they will take the materials away from the side that has more! SO IT WILL BE FAIR!!! He SAID they have the authority to STOP anyone, ask for ID and FRISK THEM!!!”

I would say that for such observers to willy-nilly “take materials away” and ‘stopping people, demanding ID, and frisking them” or interfere in anyway, better be far outside the scope and rights of such observers under this international law/agreement.

Their findings can, however, be used to try passing legislation in the prescribed manner of this country. Yet even this I am against because it implies dealing with the issue federally rather than locally, basically trampling the State.

It’s a very subtle issue that can best be described by saying, observation and suggestions are welcome, but any interference or authority over us by this organization, is not.

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Jayson

eddie says: They, ( UN), did it in 2002 and 2004 and few cared.

So we can safely assume, eddie, that voter-fraud, that the left claims to have been perpetrated on the American people for periods specified, is a false claim? If not, and voter -fraud did occur; what does this say about the UN’s capabilities to oversee and maintain the integrity of our voting-proccess?

      • eddie47d

That’s the thing Jayson each side says there is voter rigging yet nothing is ever proven or at least prosecuted. Not during Bush’s term or Obama’s first term. Is it real or mostly hyped up propaganda to make the “other side” look sinister? Its easy to say dead people vote and I suppose somewhere and someplace it has happened. It doesn’t mean it is common or even proven.

      • MattN

Eddie — when a locality has 120% more people voting then are registered, something like voter fraud is going on (even if you don’t think it is — it is!) since as far as I know there should be no more than 100% of registered people voting.

      • eddie47d

That’s a whopper of an exaggeration generally less than 80% vote for anything.

  • Congress Works For Us

Not going to happen. Most of the state polls are dubious at best, garbage at worst.

Ohio polls show Obama apparently leading, yet Romney wins the Independent vote by between 7 and 21 points. Not a political analyst in the country will tell you Obama wins when he loses Independents by 7 points, let alone 21.

Ohio is comfortably in Romney’s column despite what the “Ministry of Truth” (aka the media and their “fear porn”) want you to believe.

  • Twistingyarn

Ohioans may be in the pocket but when they cast a vote for Romney and it records one for Obama how is that going to help?

    • http://yahoo bob peters

It wont help..the Democratic communist party is going to have the cemetary vote, the illegal vote and soros machine vote..so just get used to the communist states of america..You can buy your red stars at Walmart..

Twistingyarn; Who is to say it won’t be those Romney voting machines in Ohio that will throw the election. That maybe a more likely outcome. You and Paters can throw around all the falsehoods and conjecture you want but it won’t make it true. Then Nadzieja turns a blind eye to Republican tricks and deceitful practices. What a bunch of hollowing phonies. Since Peters likes to throw out zingers how are those Koch Brothers doing in influencing your side of the vote?

  • Joe Brooks

“We’re almost done listening to Mitt Romney try very hard to establish the conservative credentials he avoided until sometime in March.”

Not surprising that these choices end in a near dead heat. When the choices available have nearly the same platforms on many of the issues that are concerning Americans, basically the economy, we boil down to a coin toss.

    • http://thisone hangman

Not so. The choices also are, do you want a christian or a muslim? do you want a straight shooter or a liar? A decent man, or a doper. faggot, murderer, thief, etc? Want one who works, or one that only golf, and lies? One that can make America proud again, or one that , while on his knees, has done nothing but humiliare us? One that knows fiscal responsibility, or one that keeps printing money we don’t have, mostly to use to arm his ‘BRO’S, the muslum brotherhood? Think before you speak.

      • DaveH

Hangman says — “do you want a straight shooter or a liar?”.
Straight Shooter? You must be talking about Gary Johnson, since neither of the other two fit that description:

I wondered about the Mormon Romney and why he is a Mormon, and for that matter why did the Christians give up on the Christian churches and transferred to Mormonism on a large scale. It must be that having just faith is a difficult proposition to live out but it is much easier if a group hands out rules and regulations to live by and these works can be seen and handled.
Take care that we don’t assume that O is not religious, he is very religious but it is a made up mish mash of all religions so he can be acceptable to all people. Follow his lifeline, he grew up a devout muslim, was indoctrinated by a marxist pervert (marshall-davis), attended the church of a radical, anti-semitic, anti-American, black militant pastor who pushed liberation theology (wright), was heavily influenced by bill ayres, and was close friends with a “Jewish” apostate rabbi. He is all things, to all people on the Left.

hangman says: do you want a straight shooter or a liar?

Are you suggesting that one of the candidates running for office, is a straight shooter? Of course, you are referring to the flip-flopping Romney; correct? Ok, carry on…

      • Karolyn

So I guess you’re voting for Saint Romney!

      • Joe Brooks

H, did you watch the third debate?

        • needfulthings

Yer Right Joe Brooks, Of course I’ll vote for OBAMA!!!!! Fore he is a Christian (not in a CULT), Shouldn’t matter though since there ain’t no religion in my constitution (sorry about yours) ! Yes a straight shooter that Obama ( not the PROVEN LIAR Mittens is) All ya got to do is watch mittens videos as he tells two different stories on every issue, no one need call mittens a lair fore he proves it out of his own mouth) .. just the facts man! YES OBAMA is a decent man , Cares about us ALL, even the 47% !!! Doper! what did you just call half the nation! Thief ???? I don’t see that, Murderer .. Yes thats true with ALL presidents since ronnie star wars ray-gun forward. ( haven’t look’d any further back yet) … Faggot! hummm.. I think not but mittens has got his MORMON CULT MAGIC UNDERWEAR on at all times and nothing gets thru them! Also “faggot” thing shouldn’t matter to people without HOMOPHOBIA… Make Omerica proud again…… Thats not gonna happen very soon (if ever) Oh we’ve had proud momments for sure, like our troops fighting for OIL and Big Business and Obama’s had his share of proud momments, but all thee blood on our hands from the begaining of our nation will be seen forever by others. Hey you ever look’d hard at history or talked to an American Indian?

Yes I did watch the third debate, and seen mittens agree with President Obama on 80% of our issues, (except when mittens didn’t agree last week, the week before that, or the month before that and even a year ago, two/three years ago) ect. ect. there is a tape for every filp flop and I mean ALL of them. Go ahead and vote for two trust fund babies, they seem just like us, real chicken hawks and they will show us how to avoid paying taxes, real Americans and not like “YOU PEOPLE’ (anns people)

Hey did ya know Jeep is moving ALL production to China and mittens is responsible for that!
Did-ja no that Mittens hasn’t answered any questions or spoken to a reporter for three weeks now/ No moe hard questions, just phony, made up photo ops.

An aversion to homosexuality on religious grounds is not homophobia. And most people who dont like the public display of homosexual affection are not homophobes (fear of homosexuals), that is just a made up reason. I am not afraid of them but I dont like having to see them overtly amorous nor hear about their preferences. I dont go marching down the street saying I am hetro, so I dont want to see them marching down the street chanting I am gay.

    • Nadzieja Batki

Voter fraud is a character trait of the Dems/Progs/Leftists. Conservatives/Libertarians/Republicans don’t lie very well since it takes practice to be a bold faced liar.

Twistygram, how is that going to happen when Romney’s family OWNS the voting machines, and the machines those machined report to? In order to maintain absolute control of everything whilst maintaining pretence of the existence of freedom of choice for the people, the Elite must create the illusion of a fair and just system for all. This system is already in place and is what we now know as ‘democracy’ which effectively presents the illusion of giving precedence to the majority view, but which in reality does the exact opposite.

The only way that it is possible for a small few to control the majority of the world is through the utilisation of this illusion. The Elite learned long ago that attempting to control the masses using overt shows of force or by autocratic government, does not succeed because there will always be almost constant unrest and rebellion seething in the background which will occasionally erupt into violent confrontations and force them into battles they would not wish to fight, given the choice.

So, how much better for them that the masses should be contented with a system that creates the impression that they are to all intents and purposes, free from tyranny and better yet, actually have a say and a stake-holding in their own lives and futures?

Politicians of all persuasions are mere puppets, slaves to the system controlled and run by a tiny minority in the shadows. These politicians will never be put forward for senior office within their parties unless they are willing and able to ‘toe the party line’ which is of course dictated from on high by the Elite. In this way they are able to control both sides of the illusory two-party state, with consummate ease.

This creates an impression that it is the politicians themselves who control a country’s purse strings and its domestic and foreign policies, but this is of course an illusion. How often do we see these glove-puppets in ‘high-level’ meetings and ‘summits’ issuing proclamations and decrees about this or that aspect of our lives or about events over which they have no control whatsoever?

This is the point at which our controlled media steps-in to the breach and perpetuates the illusion by grandiose statements about which politician has said what, about whichever subject is the ‘hot’ news of the moment.

In truth we all live in a one-party state in the western world, contrary to what we have been told and have believed all our lives. It is vital that we all cease believing that voting for one major party over another one will have any effect whatsoever upon our lives or our personal bank balances. Nothing can or will be changed by any politician, because
they are all pawns, meaningless, powerless figureheads, marching to the tune of an unseen band.

Remember that there are 1.8 million dead people still on the voter rolls. This is more votes for democrats. When you have chicago politics involved in the presidential election the democrats will use all means to steal this election. Any president with Obama’s record has never won re-election. He could be the first given the gutter tactics of the left. There has been one democratic election worker kicked out of the election campaign of the democratic senator canidate in Virginia. Guess who that was? His son. This is going on across the country and particularly in the battle ground states. I predicted Romney would win with well over 315 electoral votes, but I believe it will be much closer because of all the voter fraud which will surely affect the election.

Truths that can not be Denied … how about this for starters>

George Washington was a Deist, saying, “”Religious controversies are always productive of more acrimony and irreconcilable hatreds than those which spring from any other cause. I had hoped that liberal and enlightened thought would have reconciled the Christians so that their religious fights would not endanger the peace of Society.” – Letter to Sir Edward Newenham, June 22, 1792

When he died, the minister of his Church stated very plainly, “Sir, he was a Deist.”

John Adams was a Unitarian. He once stated, “The divinity of Jesus is made a convenient cover for absurdity.”

Thomas Jefferson was a Deist. “Millions of innocent men, women, and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burned, tortured, fined, and imprisoned, yet we have not advanced one inch toward uniformity. What has been the effect of coercion? To make one half of the world fools and the other half hypocrites.” – Notes on Virginia

“The day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the Supreme Being as His father, in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter.” – Letter to John Adams, April 11, 1823

James Madison was a Deist. He once said, “What influence, in face, have ecclesiastical establishments had on society? In some instances they have been seen to erect a spiritual tyranny on the ruins of the civil authority; on many instances they have been seen upholding the thrones of political tyranny; in no instance have they been guardians of the liberties of the people.”

Anyone who thinks we are reaching a point of ending this cycle of fiscal and economic horror is just plain dumb or to lazy to work. Com’on folks, we all know the left is not going to lay down and die and we all know that all have to relearn what this represenative Republic is all about and restore the teachings of morality, culture, heritage, language, rule of law, we need a make over and a lot of surgery. It will be expensive, hard to endure and our national pride will need to be restored with a vengence, routing the left and removing islam intent is no easy task, our Constitution stands directly in their path to theft, rape and pillage, we look like easy targets because we are a open, tolerant society who treasures free speech, hard work and morality. All of these traits we have used to make this nation great they abhor, we are the enemy and that is not going to change soon…..get out your work gloves, helmet and make sure your knife is sharp and your powder dry, this is going to get rough…

Actually Amendment XII states : If no presidential candidate receives a majority of the electoral vote, the House of Representatives, using one vote per State, votes from the top three candidates–by a quorum (2/3) of the House present and voting (33 States,) and a majority vote (26 votes) of all 50 States.

The Senate then votes for the Vice President from the top two candidates, [using the same 1 vote per state and the same 2/3 quorum and majority of all States (26) vote.]

Hilary Clinton, who is not a candidate for President or Vice-President, could not legally be considered for either position.

@ Eddie47 ” It was corporate banksters who screwed the economy and sunk the middle class. I know you hold those crony capitalist near and dear but they are the ones turning this country into “a third world nation” ”

Not quite true. It is true that bundled mortgages did eventually sorry the market, but what caused those bundles? Why our government did of course. Because of a strong push by Acorn like organizations and Obama himself thrown into the mix congress passed a “fair housing act” so that anyone could own a house. Fact is, bankers were pressured by the law to approve people who never should have been approved. It was the government that threw the first punch that started that snowball down hill. It got bigger as it went. A classic example of government interfering with the free market. If left alone mortgages would have been based on the borrowers ability to repay the loan, not politics and there would have been no bubble.

Sorry thee “Electoral College vote” is Presidents Obama’s. Never mind the national numbers, Obama will win Ohio and the States needed for 270. What no one can tell is where are the republicans gonna STEEL the election? FLA vote looks to be stolen by the right (again)! In fact it’s esimated that the republicans have disenfranchised three to five million democrats, and on the Dems side … ZERO!

None of us are capable of running our own affairs. Look at our spending, spending for junk to impress each other, and even strangers! And we pay 18% to do this! Then we gawk at each other about how through spending, we can pretend to be rich and successful! We’re all stoopid and we need to be lead. And further, I can prove that our leaders live for us…..read The Sociopath Next Door. I challenge you to find any of our leaders there. Now, why dont you folks go into debt and buy something, something which you pay 24% apr for, something which, if I see you, you’ll impress me. Something which, say, depreciates like a rock, which falls apart the minute you buy it……like a caqr, or a house for instance. And be sure, geniuses, that you spend your retirement funds, or your kiddies education, or health care funds. That way, when someone like me sees you, I can oogle and awe over how impressive you are, how I want to be like you. Until later, when your impressing has given up and no one cares and you come crawling to the leaders you are criticizing now, crawling and begging for relief from your miserable, mismanaged lives. Now celebrate your life, pay your interest, decry your intrusive leaders…..for now. Until you meet your future. After all, I know who you are. You are an american.

@needfulthings: “On MSNBC @ 7:00 PM tonight one guest .. Jim Greer”

Greer is on trial, charged with money laundering and grand theft for allegedly diverting about $200,000 in party funds to a corporation he created to handle fundraising for Republican candidates.

Any “facts” this guest may offer would certainly be questionable as he has shown his bias.

Errr. Of course he’s being charged, After all he did squeal about their plans and we all know what happens when you go against the republican party .. Were charged with sump’n. Are we still INNOCENT untill proven GUILTY in this country? Charged but ….

@needfulthings: Are we still INNOCENT untill(sic) proven GUILTY in this country?

You assert guilt of voter suppression without any proof, only self-serving testimony of a man charged with grand theft and money laundering. Your legal principle only works one way?

He faces much more than “paying back stolen money” if convicted of the charges. Jail time is a distinct possibility.

You’ve provided no facts, only accusations with no backing evidence. Because you believe it to be true does not make it so.

In the event that we would wind up with Romney as President and Biden as VP, I would think that Romney would simply relieve POS Biden of all responsibility and appoint someone else to do everything that POS Biden would normally do. Then the only thing that Biden would have left to do is to break ties in Senate votes, which rarely happen, but it does from time to time.

A minimum number of 270 electoral votes are needed to win, so those responsible for being one of the 270 electoral votes to win matter, my vote means [comment has been edited]

It looks to me like amendment 12 says that in the case of a tie, the senate must pick from the top 3 vice presidential candidates from the electoral college, so Hilary wouldn’t get in there, unless an elector voted for her.

One day I got the idea to google the following:

    constitution .pdf
    bill of rights .pdf
    king james bible .pdf

I now have all 3 pdfs on my computer – very handy.

Ladies and Gentlemen I hate to burst your 12th Amendment bubble but Abomination is not going to give up his rein of power even if he loses this election !! He has given himself with the blessing of our Corrupt Congress, Executive Order’s allowing him to control our food supply, manufacturing, farming, gas and oil, our money and our Utilities and declare Martial Law without Congressional approval. He and Congress, a Majority of Congress, allowed Abomination the right to imprison any American in the so called FEMA camps with 12 foot high fences with razor wire on top and armed guards to watch you without proof or Lawyer or Court to imprison you for an indefinate length of time and even send you to a camp oversea’s and take your Citizenship and all you own and all he has to do is say your a Terrorist. He dosen’t have to prove it and if you don’t think this can happen you better read up. Viet Nam Vet 67-68

As explained here, self-centered geo-centrism is the root of our problem.

I thought the democrats appealed to the moron vote. After reading these posts, “conservatives” apparently possess their own morons.”

Sunday 4 Nov 2012: (Only two days before the election)

During President Obama’s first year in office, Climategate emails and documents revealed the first undeniable evidence of a serious flaw on government science in late Nov 2009: http://tinyurl.com/8v3csed

Official responses by world leaders and by the leaders of the scientific community showed us the problem was worldwide, and had engulfed our most cherished institutions, including the Nobel Prize Committee, National Academies of Science, the Royal Society, the publishers of our most respected research journals, and leaders in the news media.

The trail of deceit in these institutions led back to the establishment of the United Nations on 24 Oct 1945. Although George Orwell warned in 1948 [1], we did not noticed the silent growth of a totalitarian one-world government before Climategate in Nov 2009.

Now at the end of President Obama’s first term, American citizens will NOT be allowed to decide whether (a) to change or (b) to continue on the path that brought us Climategate:

a.) Return to Constitutional government [2]

_ The Declaration of Independence: http://tinyurl.com/5yr32
_ The US Constitution: http://tinyurl.com/yqm97q and
_ The US Bill of Rights: http://tinyurl.com/dugh9

    b.) Continue forming a one-world government [3] under the

    _ UN’s “Core Agenda 21″: http://www.un.org/esa/dsd/agenda21/

Now we must each decide whether to pass along:

    1. The truth revealed by unbiased observations or
    2. The story fabricated by cherry-picking data.

Path #2 has many short-term advantages; Path #1 will be victorious.

Thank you for being with me for this live re-enactment of the classical journey through minefields of the battle of life. We are richly blessed!

See this posting by E. M. Smith:

    http://chiefio.wordpress.com/2012/11/04/kyoto-limping-to-an-end/

    The United States was betrayed.

AGW was never about global climate. It has now completed its primary mission:

“The entire structure of Kyoto was a wealth transfer from Rich nations to Poor nations. It was to hobble the west and enrich those invested in the planned money transfer and industrial movement. That game has played out. It’s a done deal.”

Well said! Well said! FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! 하나님하고 나라를 위해서!

You need both love of country and fear of God to be a patriot.
