The Election Can’t Save Us From The Fed

November 3, 2010 by

The Election Can’t Save Us From The Fed

"We can pay anybody by running a printing press." — Thomas Gale Moore, a Ronald Reagan economic advisor, 1986.

Don’t expect America’s fortunes to change in the wake of yesterday’s election. Even if some semblance of sanity comes to Congress we are still left with that other dysfunctional institution, the Federal Reserve, which is bent on inflating the United States economy, the dollar be damned.

Part of the problem is Ben Bernanke, the chairman of the Federal Reserve. He was reappointed by President Barack Obama last year and has shown himself to be a kindred spirit to the President. Both had zero business experience before moving to government. Bernanke spent most of his life learning economics as taught by Harvard and MIT, before becoming a professor at Stanford and Princeton.

Bernanke has been hailed as the world’s leading expert on the Great Depression. If you are worried this doesn’t qualify him to help resurrect the U.S. economy you are probably right. It is doubtful that the Pentagon would have put famous historian A.J.P. Taylor in charge of combat operations in Vietnam because he knew so damn much about World War II.

Bernanke is making sure that the Fed does what the central bank calls quantitative easing. That is a fancy term for saying they are “printing money” commented The Wall Street Journal last week, pointing out that such terminology makes it easier for the American public to swallow than if the Fed just came out and admitted what it is really doing.

But even The Journal has it wrong. In today’s world Washington doesn’t run printing presses. The truth is that creating new money today doesn’t have anything to do with paper and ink (if it did the Greens would be screaming about the forests). Instead it is done at the push of a button.

Rather than print money, the Federal Reserve buys assets — usually government bonds, mortgage-backed securities — from banks or on the open market. There is thus more dollars sloshing around in the economy.

So where does the money to buy these assets come from in the first place? In fact says MoneyWeek, “The central bank just creates it out of nowhere.”

The Fed is fighting the depression of the 1930s. It raged before the Internet, TV, and the hula hoop and ended 13 years before Bernanke was born.

In the high-tech age, creating money to float the economy is very simple. The Treasury simply records on its computers the amount of securities the Fed purchased and this new money goes into the banking system to be loaned out at some multiple.

How much money are we talking about? According to Goldman Sachs, the Federal Reserve may soon purchase $2 trillion of assets to stimulate the U.S. economy. Goldman estimates that as much as $4 trillion of additional large-scale asset purchases might be poured into the economy to meet the Fed’s targets. All this money is being created because the Fed has exhausted its usual mechanism of increasing the money supply: Lowering the interest rate at which banks may lend one another their reserves held at the Fed. Currently the Federal funds rate is now zero.

I didn’t go to Harvard or Princeton, but even I understand Economics 101. Creating more dollars — in this case trillions more dollars — will devalue each and every dollar. That means that money you have tucked away in a retirement fund or bank account is going to be worth less, a lot less regardless of who is in Congress and how they are voting.

Back when I was in college I was taught the purpose of the Federal Reserve was to protect the integrity of the dollar. And for most of the 20th Century the Fed did protect the integrity of the dollar. Even when I first started writing about the markets, the Fed under Paul Volcker made the country and the world swallow a bitter pill by jacking up the Fed Funds rate, which nearly doubled between 1979 and 1981; jacking up the interest rate that banks charge each other rose from 11.5 percent to 21.5 percent. That led to a bad recession, but the U.S. dug its way out because the dollar remained intact.

Now we have the Fed as appointed by Obama. And as the chart below shows, under Bernanke, the Federal Funds Rate has been pushed to zero, lower than at any point in more than a half a century. Unlike Volcker, who worried about the stability of the nation’s currency — the world’s currency — The Wall Street Journal recently summed the central bank’s goal: “The Fed hopes to chase investors out of Treasuries into other, riskier securities. Like stocks.”

Since when did it become the Fed’s job to get bullish on stocks? What’s next, moving the Merrill Lynch Bull statue outside the Eccles Building?

Effective Federal Funds Rates

Now The Bad News
Moreover, I am wondering if Bernanke and the Federal Reserve Bank presidents have really thought through their actions. What if money isn’t moved out of the Treasury market and into the stock market but is instead moved into euros, gold or anything besides U.S. dollars?

China and Japan are sitting on $1.7 trillion of U.S. Treasury debt. China’s is holding one-fifth of its annual gross domestic product (GDP) in Uncle Sam IOUs. Their leaders might be Communists, but they are not idiots. With the Federal Reserve set to magically create four trillion new dollars you can bet that some of the guys wearing the Chairman Mao suits think it might be time to pull the plug on their Treasury investments.

If this happens, and the Chinese do begin to liquidate Treasuries, it would create a level of financial havoc that would make the Great Depression seem like a bump in the road. I can’t see any way we are going to get out of this unscathed.

I write this before the elections have happened, so I don’t know if the GOP won. But what should scare you is that it doesn’t matter. Congress could include Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy, and as long as we have a Federal Reserve acting as recklessly as the one now controlling our economic fate, we are in a lot of trouble.

Action To Take
Regardless of the election’s outcome and your expectations for 2012, please don’t get bullish on Big Board stocks or bonds. The core of your holdings should be in physical gold, along with some silver. If you want to get some leverage stick to resource stocks that are involved either in precious metals or hydrocarbon energy.

Yours for real wealth and good health,

Bernanke, the penultimate, judas goat, is paid to hate America. He knew when he took the job that pleasing his masters is his only concern. Only in a world where common sense and morality matter would Bernanke have to concern himself with doing the right thing, people.
Anybody who thinks we live in a country that reveres common sense or morality is a tool of those who worship slavery. Anyone who thinks the Fed is an agency that keeps our economy functioning properly wants every man, woman and child in America in chains.
The Fed exists to CONTROL, LOOT and DESTROY America’s wealth. It is a private corporation [hey, progressives, did you forget that ALL corporations are EVIL?]. The Fed is a private corporation that was created to be “seen” as a part of the federal government. IT IS NOT! Those who see corporations as evil entities but REFUSE to see the Fed for what it is do not deserve to be called human. They are willing members of a devolved species.
To let the Fed exist is no different than putting a career criminal in charge of your wealth. It is the same as surrendering your brain so you can claim to be a ‘genius.’
It is proof that some Americans will never understand the difference between treason and patriotism. It is proof that until Americans love freedom and hate slavery, we cannot be and will never be free.

    • duggy dugg

so on point ! “The Fed is a private corporation that was created to be “seen” as a part of the federal government” the money spent on P R to have the non-federal fedd “seen” as part of the federal government has , no doubt, been massive …. the charade of “appointing” benney the bankey as head of the feral reverse is apalling in its duplicity ….”here , barry , er …mr president , just sign this little document we have prepared for you ; it confirms your OFFICAL RE-APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN BANJAMIN BERNANKE TO HEAD THE F…….[sorry]..EDERAL RESERVE” !
barry : I FEEL SO PRESIDENTIAL MAKING SUCH POWERFUL DECISIONS ! ! !
      BY GODFREY ! ! !

      • Mike In MI

        duggy dugg – “…the feral reserve…”, indeed!
Luv it! Luv it! You could have completed it by calling it the “feral reverse”, ’cause that’s what it has done to our financial positions as INDIVIDUALS. Along with one other being.

Tat being is in the position of the feral presidency. He’s “wilding” this great nation and we can do something about it, I think.

CAll YOUR REPRESENTATIVES, NOW, (makes no matter what color or stripe or star he/she may CLAIM to REPRESENT). They now know he/she/it represents YOU. They’re not there to go along to get along. When you call tell your representative you want them to call for the presentation to the House of Representatives, by a certain date (say by the end of the first month of business after they take their oath of office), of every document that proves or thros a question upon the legitimacy of the feral president.
If we can get rid of him that way then the agenda he signed into law is null and void since his signature is without value. Perhaps the legislation put before him may need to be revisited anew.
If he can be dismissed that way perhaps Biden-my-time’s vice-presidency can also be shown to be invalid (A vote for one was a vote for “the team”, or Biden may have known and is associated with the dishonesty?).
If we can get far enouh down the line of ascendncy we can get a valid person to represent us in the President’s Office.

    • Lee

There is a simple answer to the Fed. The FAIRTAX act! No one is saying ANYTHING!!! It would abolish the income tax, as well as the Fed. You only pay taxes on goods and services. Yes it would be high, but YOU control how much tax you pay, by how much you spend.Dang, just getting rid of the Fed, would save Americans probably billions of dollars. If you aren’t familiar with it, just type in Neal Bortz, + FairTax. You will learn all you need to know. If WE THE PEOPLE put enough pressure on the government, I bet we could probably make it happen.

      • Bleh

Just curious, how does the Fair Tax, or any tax for that matter, prevent the fed from printing dollars out of nothing?

        • Bleh

Just a note, I do not see how the Fair Tax abolishes the fed, thus my question.

          • REYKOOL

Bleh, I know what LEE tryed to say but he was too vague , here a clue to those who don’t understand the relationship between the Federal Reserve and the federal income tax . for more info you’ll have to read (Google it) : THE FINANCIAL MESS -THE REAL DEAL by Michael Mitrosky.
The Federal Reserve (a cartel of private Banks) gets to produce our Dollar bills ( $1. 20 or 100 ) for 4 Cents (Four cents) and then sell them back to our Government for FULL FACE AMOUNT ( $1, 20 or 100).
How do you think our Government pays for these Federal Reserve Notes (our currency). It pays for them with debt : Treasury bonds, Treasury notes & treasury Bills, you’ll here the media say : ” The fed injected liquidity into the market…The Fed is buying Government securities…” All this means is that the Federal Reserve is literally creating money out of thin air and then selling this money to our Government for its face amount.
THIS IS THE TRUE SOURCE OF OUR NATIONAL DEBT, NO MATTER WHO WE ELECT AND THIS IS THE REASON OUR DEBT NEVER GOES DOWN (Republicans or Democrats)
NOW HERE THE TRICK : the Grace Commission report (see Google) proves that “NONE OF YOUR PERSONAL FEDERAL INCOME TAX GOES TO PAY FOR ANY GOVERNMENT SERVICES AND IS USED TO PAY ONLY…..THE INTEREST ON THE NATIONAL DEBT (Which is created by the Federal Reserve system)
BOTH THE FEDERAL RESERVE AND THE FEDERAL INCOME TAX WERE CREATED IN THE SAME YEAR 1913
(before the creation of the Fed there was NO income Tax)
THE INCOME TAX WAS CREATED TO FINANCE THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM.
SO LEE is right in a way …THE FEDERAL RESERVE WOULD HAVE NO INCOME, HOWEVER WE WILL HAVE TO CLOSE THE FEDERAL RESERVE ACT AND RETURN THE WAY THE CONSTITUTION SAYS …
ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS TO HAVE THE CONGRESS AUTHORIZING THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT TO ISSUE ITS OWN MONEY ( DIRECTLY FOR A COST OF 4 CENTS INSTEAD OF PAYING FULL PRICE FROM THE CENTRAL “BANKSTERS” NO MORE INCOME TAX AND. SMALLER NATIONAL DEBT.
            PEACE

          • Kate8

REYKOOL – What actually prevents us from doing just that? Other than those running the government, that is.

Theoretically, could we elect people who would be willing to ditch the Fed? What could they do? Other than nuke us or something.

We need to boot out the Fed, somehow.

BTW, TPTB don’t recognize our Constitutional protections. It is no more than an annoyance to them at this point, since many Americans still believe in it.

      • fred

Sorry to disagree with you Lee but such a FAIR (to whom) tax
would be unconstitutional because The US government
has no jurisdiction to collect such a tax in any of
the independent states comprising The American Republic.
Neither does the Federal Income tax apply to most American
Nationals (most of us). We have simply been hoodwinked and
threatened into agreeing or volunteering to join the federal
ponzi scheme thereby giving up freedoms and property to buy
        peace.
Why substitute another federal revenue raiser for the federal income
tax and when will Americans finally wake up and study and apply
our divinely inspired Constitution without fear or compromise?
        Fred

      • CJB

Lee, I would recommend you read or listen to the audio version of The Creature From Jekyll Island, watch Fiat Empire, and The Money Masters, and The Secret Of Oz.

The Fed prints unbacked fiat currency out of thin air, then charges usery fees for it, but use the old terms of loan, and interest. Unless we curb the spending in Congress, it doesn’t matter what we do with the Fed. We could go back to and should, go back to Constitutional money as per the demands of the Constitution. Outlaw fractional reseve banking, and seperate savings banks and investment banks. Because you choose to put your money into a savings bank should not give them the authority to gamble with your money by lending 10 times what you put into your account.

On the Fairtax? What’s fair about it? It is another swindle in disguise. All I see are people looking for a silver bullet to knock out the illegal and unConstitutional income tax. Replacing it with something just as corruptable, and sinister isn’t the answer. Cutting spending is the answer. Remember as Mr. Griffin say in Creature From Jekyll Island, Congress always needs more money. If they had to raise taxes to support their projects and programs, they would lose their jobs in the elections. So what’s the best way and it makes them look like good guys when they are the problem, is to borrow it from a central bank and pass on the tab to posterity. So our great great grandchildren have been sold down the river by these wonderful (NOT) politicians.

I would also suggest reading the Grace Commission Report. They admitted in it, that every penny collected on the income tax is used to pay the interest on the debt owed to the Fed, or is lost through government waste, and not one dime is spent on the services people have come to expect from government.

I would also recommend America Freedom To Fascism.

    • Carole Howell

Hey! I don’t know why we cannot expect things to change overnight, we expected all the 8 million lost jobs to be replaced over night, right?

      • Mike In MI

Hey, Carole! your hero Fed-Exed us overnight by argueig for, voting for, campaigning for or signing for the TARP, Stimuli Bills, subsuming all health related industry, Feeding ACORN, feeding Soros, waiting for soldiers to be killed, delaying Gen. Petraeus, firing Gen. McCrystal, allowing and abetting drug traffic and murder and invasion from our enemies across the southern border, transgendering and transferring monies to our muslim enemies overseas and on our shores who are also illegal aliens, jihadists and terrorists that want you dead (by sawwing your fool head off) and taking over (in order to profit his slush funds) auto, bank, mortgage, college loan, education, oil, energy and weapons businesses. Breathe deeply, Mike!

That’s just the short list. What is there about him that makes you think he won’t put you in an eary grave with his death care bills if you get sick. He doesn’t know or care about you. His heart is dead – and so is yours if you hang with him.

        • Kate8

Mike, Right on. These guys are getting richer off of us while we are getting poorer. Why anyone believes they have our backs is baffling.

      • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Well lets compare it this way. When Bush took over for Clinton, we were in a major recession. To his credit, like him or not, his admin rolled up their sleeves and went to work, and at his two year mark, America was rolling like a fine tuned machine. Compare now Obama admin, at the two year mark. Unemployment has risen from 4.5 to over 10 percent and rising, and in some states, Harry Reid’s Nevada for instance, it stands at over 14 percent. But instead of rolling up their sleeves and getting to work, they are still content to stand up on their milk crates, and point fingers and blame others, and the national liberal press lets them get away with it. However, the American voters werent going to stand there and watch helplessly, so they did something good, and sent a bunch of them home, except for some very poor voters in Nevada and California and Massachusetts, that chose to elect proven losers like Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer and Barney Frank, then they wonder why their states are broke and taxes are continually rising. Imagine that. Hmmm.

    • PHILesq

The Federal Reserve and it’s “system” isn’t federal…it’s privately owned ever since it’s conception on Jekyll Island Georgia back in November of 1910. Who owns the Federal Reserve and it’s “system”….why it’s the New World Order’s most prominent family, the richest family in the world with an estimated net value between 300 – 400 trillion dollars! They own the Bullion Banks who set the world’s daily price of gold, own Morgan Stanly, Chase, G.M. G.E.,and the list goes on and on. They are also major contributors and members of the Bilderberg group and sit at it’s head, have control of the C.F.R., the Trilateral Commission, Helped found the New World Orders U.N.! Andrew Jackson kicked them out of our country for trying to take over our nations banking system. Three attempts were made on his life after booting them out ! J.F.K. was going to abolish the Federal Reserve and it’s “system” shortly after his trip to Dallas that fateful day ! This family can buy people, elections, nations, presidents and when the situation call for it they can eliminate president and heads of state ! Who are they you ask….it’s the Rothschilds.

“PERMIT ME TO ISSUE AND CONTROL A NATIONS MONEY AND I CARE NOT WHO WRITES IT’S LAWS”…..Mayer Amschel Rothschild 1743-1812

Search “THE LAWFUL PATH”….”OWNERSHIP OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE” @
      land.netonecom.net/tlp/ref/federal_reserve.shtml

I submit that this sprawling entity controls our nation, our politics, all area of finance and the very lives of those we elect to run our nation. They are THE NEW WORLD ORDER…..PERIOD ! Abolish the Federal Reserve System NOW before it’s too late !

      • Christin

        PHIL,
        Mind-boggling…

Just unreal that an evil group of people are “playing” the whole world like a toy game with no appearant consequences.

        • PHILesq

Christin….It’s a sad commentary but true! Few if any of the M.S.M. will even comment on it!This supposed article won’t even deal with it or even mention it! I assert that the likes of Geithner and Bernanke and the one’s before them are the true “handlers” of our presidents and of our nation! Ron Paul knows this and so do his cohorts in our nations capitol, but Ron Paul wants to abolish the Federal Reserve “System” and so do I along with millions of others that are informed of this modern age ponzi scheme….this horrible ruse that has been perpetrated onto our nation and our good people! We must abolish the FED before we can get down to the serious business of repairing the collateral damage this nation has sustained from these off shore gangsters ! God bless !

  • Angel Wannabe

Just for a chuckle, This article amounts to someone, pithing in your wheaties, when you’ve just poured the milk!!!__lol__
__NO_The Election Can’t Save Us From The Fed, they control the drain plug of our economy__ we can’t lose sight of that fact. But, the balance of power in Washington HAD to be shifted. I’m not saying this power shift is going to change the whole up hill landscape. But which would you rather use, a shovel, or a dozer to begin to clear a path?__Here’s hoping Washington listens to it’s people!__We cannot let up on the pressure.__ Let’s make a pot of coffee, roll up our sleeves__We can’t go back to sleep folks!_-If we snooze, we lose!
    God Bless America!!!

    • Robin from Arcadia, IN

Angel Wannabe… You are right. Just because a message has been sent to Washington that we are fed up with politics as usual, doesn’t mean things are going to turn around overnight. And… we cannot back off. The pressure needs to remain constant. We need to join forces with those who want to audit the fed. We need to let our representatives know that we want the Fair Tax passed and the IRS abolished. We need to strike these issues while the iron is hot. Waiting for the newly elected to get settled in is not a good idea. We need to approach them now and then stay on them!

      • http://Yahoo Sandy Archer

Ben Bernanke is another one of Obama’s puppets!! So on that note, we cannot get complacent and expect Obama to listen to the American people. He cares nothing about what we want or think. His agenda is socialism and a one world government with him as the leader. God help us if this ever happens. His hatred for America is obvious and he is doing everything he can to ruin this Country. We have to stand and fight for our future and that of our children & grandbabies!! God Bless America

        • duggy dugg

dear arch ; ” Ben Bernanke is another one of Obama’s puppets!!” i think bennie is nobody’s puppet ; he heads the fedd ; the fedd is not subject to the gao or any govt audit body ; the fedd is bankrupting us ; the fedd creates money from air ; treasury should have that power , not a private banking cartel !! !
the counterfeit money fedd creates is loansharked to treasury plus vig ! ! !

          • http://donthaveone Beberoni

You are right. The fed has the money and the power, and they are the ones pulling the strings. Somewhere, somehow, we need to take action soon to not only cut their strings, but time them up with them and render them harmless.

          • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Typo. That should read, tie them up with them.

        • Mike In MI

          Sandy Archer -
You fail to understand how this thing works. Bernanke is not one of Oblama-lama-ding-dong’s puppets. It’s the other way around. They show you what they want you to see and expect you to swallow the dog, pony, trainer, tent and whole circus.
Bernanke tells Oblama-lama-ding-dong what he is going to do and everybody bows to the edifice behind Benny, Greenspan or whoever is on the throne at the moment. He, in turn, is nothing but a control panel for those who push his buttons.
That’s why the Founding Fathers never intended for here to be a central bank. Get rid of the whole facade and the Wizard goes away, too.

          • Christin

            Mike in MI,
This is how I see it, too.
Bernanke, Greenspan… just more puppets with faces infront of the Shadow Leaders who are really making the decisions for America.
We must RID ourselves of the cancer, FED, or it will kill US.

Wish we could just storm the FED bulding and kick them out at gun point and lock them up and all that support this treasonous unconstitutional Banking system… next the IRS… then the FDA…

Why can’t it be that simple to save our country and do the right thing for it and us?

Wouldn’t the early Americans do that??

Why do we have to be civilized and play the waiting game, call & e-mail and just hope “that those in charge” will hear us, agree and save the country???

I’m tired of waiting… there are still so many wicked in government.
I just want to make America GREAT again with Freedoms, Rights, morals, honor, integrity and responsiblity.

          • Kate8

I hear you, Christin. I guess what would stop us is that they have ultra technology weapons that would stop us in our tracks without their having to fire a shot. The acoustical weapons alone would do the trick.

            It’s a great fantasy, though.

          • Mike In MI

Christ in – Love your heart, Honey-Babe and, sweet sister.

GOD IS NOT DEAD!!! “Pray for kings and all those who are in authority, …that we may live quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and honety (dignified seriousness)”, and have fun, too.
Look how far it has brought us to today!!! Where were we eight months ago?
What? are you going to forget and start crying for the leeks and
honey pots of Egypt instead of this awful Manna? Christin, Christin, Christin, Look up! Not around – looking around at situations will always distract you, dismay and discomfort you!
Pray for the government, pray for godly leadership. IT WORKS, IT Works, God works. Pray for what his Word says to pray for – THAT opens up the WINDOWS of HEAVEN to “CRUNCH THE…” no. God isn’t like that. HE BLESSES THE FAITHFUL, STEADAST, COMMITTED ones who love Him and His ways.
Hang in there, be faithful and Tithe to honest and upright enterprises that speak to your SPIRIT. (They might be unchurchy outfits, m’ lady.)
            God Bless, Yer’ th’ BEST!

          • Mike In MI

Related to my Nov. 3, 2:59 post (above),

Look, it was an act of Congress that instituted the whole Feral Reserve Act way back when. Can not the same thing undo the whole charade of fools’ mad, ungodly pact? Prevail upon your legislators and REPRESENTATIVES to disembowel the beast. Lay it’s intestinal fartitude out for all to smell and it will wretch out it’s pissed-at-chou guts and expire. It will take all our wealth with it. But, like Job in the Bible, He will restore it at least two-fold. It won’t leave the sphere of earth and God can funnel it back. Joseph?
He took a stand for God and the then known world beat a path to his door – with their gold. We ARE the bread-basket to the world, today. Set our Godly farmers free to dicker with the world and see how fast they bring in our debt!!!

          • Christin

            Thanks Mike in MI.
I needed a pep talk and a little redirection. Appreciate the sweet words. Quiet and peaceful lives sounds GREAT! No, I don’t want to go back to Egypt and be a slave, but it feels like we’re still there and being enslaved, doesn’t it? Okay, look up… I know God is alive and still in control. And you are right, we have made positive gains for slowing down the progressive machine, but it’s going to take a lot of work from many to keep it at bay.

I have prayed a bunch for our country and this election to be honest and expose those that are fraudulent, for Godly Leaders to win and lead, for the evil ones to speak foolishness and be voted out, for light to shine on the dark, for God’s will to be done.

Thanks for the smile and kind words.
            In Christ,
            Christ in

PS So Mike is that short for Michael? Are you named after the Arc Angel Michael who is God’s most prominent and put incharge of Isreal, as is my youngest son?

          • Christin

            Mike in MI,
As far as the FED (Federal Reserve Act), well, they (posters)say JFK was shot because he had a bill to shut down the FED.
Kindness and Fairplay do not seem to describe them.
If JFK was taken out, who on God’s green Earth could rid us of the FED… The whole Congress standing together? …We The People with the power of God?

I don’t think we are the bread basket of the world any more, my friend. We import much and pay our farmers to not produce. We could be again if regulations were eliminated and the small farmer wasn’t forced out of business.

We were a blessed country when we protected Isreal and were a Christian nation, but the era of obamie and radicals unleashed has excelerated our “Job moment”.
            Godspeed.

          • Mike In MI

Christ in – Heavily armed, warfare can be deadly to the heavily armed.

If you want to move fast and flexible travel light and loose and with your head in the proper place to PREVAIL. Consider David and Goliath.

First of all David rejected King Saul’s armor because he’d never killed a lion or bear with it. He used what he was skilled with. He picked five smooth stones. He only needed one. But, five is the Biblical number that represents God’s grace and tells me what he was thinking about – God’s grace to help in time of need and that “the battle is the Lord’s”. David’s attitude was that spirit is the great equalizer.
Next, he ran to close the contest, loaded and launched a stone from his sling and put the giant on the ground. Then, before Goliath could react, David ran in and drew out the giant’s sword. Next David lopped off Goliath’s head, killing him with his own weapon.

Obviously, JFK was acting on his own and thought he didn’t need anybody’s help – so he didn’t ask. “You have not because you ask not, and, when you do ask, you ask amiss…” It wasn’t that God was unwilling to give help…JFK wasn’t willing or knowledgeable enough to know what to ask for, or how. God NEVER oversteps our right to self-determination orinto the boundaries of our space without being invited…first. He’s the consumate, penultimate gentleman. All the power needed to create the heavens and the earth and everything in it, but that gives Him more than enough power to be infinitessimally gentle, effectual and kind. Since He doesn’t need to be anything but loving everything horrible that happens has to come from another Source – and He has an enemy. Everybody who works for the other Source is absolutely on their own. God’s help is not available to them until they change allegiances.
There is no kryptonite strong enough to overcome those who stand behind His protection. In one battle God’s people got into, a hail of rock and “brimstone” fell during the battle. It says the hailstones killed more of the enemies’ troops than were killed by God’s people – who didn’t lose a man. I think that’s kind of precise targeting and not even “overwhelming force” – just enough to win.

        • Karolyn

Give it a rest! How can you say he hates America? That’s like so many on this site saying that libeals and other AMERICANS who think differently hate America. It is quite an arrogant statement to make in which the one making the statement is portraying himself to be the all-knowing, all-seeing ONE. There is only ONE who knows, and that is God.

          • Kate8

Karolyn – You just hate America the way our founders set it up. You want to make it into something quite different from it’s traditions.

There are those of us who cherish our Constitutional Republic and don’t want to remake it. The damage wrought on us by socialists an communists can be corrected through improving education and teaching our children strong moral and ethical values.

But that is not the plan of the Left and TPTB. They are collapsing our nation and our whole way of life to remake us into something horrifying to those who value freedom.

There are plenty of countries where socialism and communism reign. There has only been one America. Why don’t those of you who prefer these other regimes go to one of them, and leave us to enjoy the blessings once abundant in America. Once she is gone, she is gone.

          • Karolyn

Kate – I don’t claim to know anyone’s “agenda.” What I do know is that I am an AMERICAN and entitled to my views without being told to leave the country. I do not believe half of what I hear. And what I do understand and believe does not set me off into paroxisms of fear, anger and hate. My post was in regard to somebody absolutely KNOWING how someone else FEELS about this country. All of these labels and all of the namecalling is nuts as far as I’m concerned, and it gets my goat to see people being judged every day because of their opposing views. You know, you COULD be wrong about a lot of things. This is still one of the freest countries there is. I don’t agree with all the curtailing of our freedoms, but I’m not full of anger and hate over it; and I’m not calling others un-patriotic either. All the vitriol in the world is not gonna change anything.

Speaking of curtailments. I know you’ll be interested in this one. Have you heard that the EU is putting into effect the strict control of traditional medicines? I heard about it years ago, and it’s ready to go into effect. We have to be careful it doesn’t happen here.

          • Granny Mae

            Kate8,

I’m with you. You said it all and God Bless you for it !

          • Kate8

Karolyn, Yes. I did see that traditional medicines have been made illegal in Europe. This has been in the works for a long time – look up Codus Aliamentarius. It is part of the WHO agenda.

And it IS planned for America. In fact, it was passed in Congress BY THE DEMOCRATS last year, and is being slowly implemented. I write my DEMOCRAT Senators at least once a week on this, but they continue to support it. Republicans oppose it. In fact, the first one to really expose these diabolical plans (which include the medical community) was Ron Paul. He’s introduced pieces of legislation to protect our right to natural medicine, but the Dems won’t support it.

If you would do more research into things you’d get the big picture. Not wanting to believe scary things doesn’t make them untrue, it just gives TPTB a bigger advantage, because an ill-informed public won’t stand up to them.

You see what they are doing with our natual health choices. Why can’t you believe that this is just one aspect to their dastardly agenda?

Whether or not I am angry is beside the point. If we don’t all start to get a real clue, then we all go down. People have a right to their own beliefs, but they don’t have the right to FORCE their agenda on the rest of us. You don’t want conventional medicine forced on you, so why is that so hard to understand?

          • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Let us go on the facts Karolyn. Wouldnt you have to say, that if there are people trying to kill us, and you catch them, then certain people take our money, and pay for lawyers to defend them against us, that they hate America? I would. And wouldnt you say, that if people went around to countries that hate us, and have vowed to kill us and not stop until we are all dead, and decided that they should sit down and talk with these guys, and apologize for us being a free country while emboldening them, that these people hate America? I would, very much so. And wouldnt you say, that people that that go into a back room close the door, and ram a health care package down the throat of almost 70 percent of the people that dont want it, hate those very American people? I would have to say yes again, that they hate America. And then they try to tell us all to have tolerance to these same people, and their religious ways, while telling us here that we cant read our Bible and pray in high schools and colleges, but we can force teach students to read the Koran, that these people hate America? I say yes to that also. The proof is in the pudding girlie, their actions all show that they do indeed hate America, and all they keep doing further weakens and endangers us, and moves us closer and closer to not existing anymore. I would say that that definitely shows just how much they hate America. Anymore questions?

NO OFFENSE BUT THE RULING ELITE, THE REAL POWER TO BE (WHO PLACED OBAMA THERE) TRICKED YOU REALLY GOOD IN BELIEVING HE IS A “SOCIALIST” OR A “LIBERAL” , THE MAN WAS WORKING FOR A LAW FIRM WHICH IS A CIA FRONT….OBAMA IS JUST A CIA PLANT (AND IT IS VERY WELL DOCUMENTED THAT HE WAS RECRUITED AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY) HIS MOTHER MET HIS AFRICAN FATHER WHILE SHE WAS IN AFRICA IN A MISSION FOR THE CIA AS WELL..
BARACK OBAMA IS FOLLOWING THE CORPORATIST AGENDA, HE IS BASICALLY CONTINUING WHAT BUSH WAS DOING BUT WITH A “COOLER ” STYLE…THE NEW WORLD ORDER AGENDA ( FOR A PRIVATELY CONTROLLED WORLD GOVERNMENT WITH A WORLD CURRENCY) IS WHAT HE IS WORKING ON , WHILE TRICKING THE MASSES INTO BELIEVING HE IS A “PROGRESSIVE SOCIALIST” IF YOU SEE HIS “NATIONAL HEALTH PROGRAM” FOR EXAMPLE: OUR MEDIA WAS TOLD TO ADVERTISE IT AS A “SOCIALIST PROGRAM” HOWEVER IT WAS WRITTEN BY THE BIG INSURANCE CARTELS …IT IS A FORCED MEDICAL INSURANCE ENFORCED BY THE IRS…THE MERGING OF GOVERNMENT WITH BIG CORPORATIONS IS NOT SOCIALISM
IT IS “CORPORATISM”…THERE IS ANOTHER NAME FOR IT ….FASCISM.
READ OUR CONSTITUTION : NO PRIVATE CORPORATION SHALL ACT AS A GOVERNMENT AGENCY…
WHAT DO YOU THINK THE FEDERAL RESERVE IS ??? OBAMA IS JUST ANOTHER STRAW MAN FOR THE RULING ELITE WITH THE “PROGRESSIVE ” PHONY IMAGE THAT IS COLLAPSING AT THE SPEAD OF LIES…
BUSH…OBAMA…. PALIN….GINGRICH ALL PUPPETS WHO OBVIOUSLY TRICKED YOU REALLY GOOD.

      • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Yesterday was a good start, but there is much more to do. The Fed needs disbanded now, and its not even run by the United States government. We have a bunch of foreigners running our money system. What the heck were the politicians thinking when they set this one up?
We need to quit giving billions of dollars away, especially to third world and terrorist countries that attack us every chance they get. And how do they purport to balance a budget, when they owe so much, yet keep giving it away? How do you get people back to work, when you keep upping taxes on those who would be the ones to hire them, and when you keep enlarging the handouts you give them not to work? And our legal system is broken and needs fixed. No longer are the lawyers and judges interested in justice and righteousness. No, they are interested in how much money they can make defending billionaire drug dealers and taking payments from the rich to let them get out of trouble. They shot down the California Marijuana iniative, for one reason, and one reason only, let no one be fooled. Too many people in the legal system in this country make millions of dollars off of it being illegal. If it was legal, the money would go into the public coffers of local, state and federal government, where it could be used. Instead, it is buying yachts and winter mansions for lawyers and judges. And the facts show besides them spending billions to fight it, it hasnt helped one bit. Its all a masqueraded by those in the legal system to appear to be one thing, when they are cashing in big time. Our illegal immigration system is broken. All the democrats in California and New York keep getting elected, because they are criminals that break the law and help these people break the law, so that they can get the hispanic vote. Soon, none of them will have jobs, because the hispanic community is pretty smart, and they are now taking these government jobs, and soon California will be as one with Mexico, and ran by corrupt people and, oh wait, too late, it already is. This is what has happened due to lawyers running everything. They have screwed up the political system, the banking system the legal system and the penal system, and all they care about are themselves, and filling their pockets. Money is their god, and thats why we are in trouble. Do I have a solution? No I dont, but I know as long as lawyers continue to have it all fixed where they get paid for everything and that you cant do anything without paying them, well, thats why were are in this mess.

          Berberoni,

I don’t understand your comment that our financial system is run by foreigners? Can you explain that to me? Seriously I don’t understand ? Please explain !

          • JeffH

Granny Mae, read vthis article to get a better perspective of who controls the Federal Reserve.
Secrets of the Federal Reserve: The House of Rothschild

The capability of devising and enacting the “National Reserve Plan”, as the immediate result of the Jekyll Island expedition was called, was easily within the powers of the Kuhn, Loeb-Morgan alliance, according to the following from McClure’s Magazine, August 1911, “The Seven Men” by John Moody.

“Seven men in Wall Street now control a great share of the fundamental industry and resources of the United States. Three of the seven men, J.P. Morgan, James J. Hill, and George F. Baker, head of the First National Bank of New York belong to the so-called Morgan group; four of them, John D. and William Rockefeller, James Stillman, head of the National City Bank, and Jacob H. Schiff of the private banking firm of Kuhn, Loeb Company, to the so-called Standard Oil City Bank group… the central machine of capital extends its control over the United States… The process is not only economically logical; it is now practically automatic.”

The most powerful men in the United States were themselves answerable to another power, a foreign power, and a power which had been steadfastly seeking to extend its control over the young republic of the United States since its very inception. This power was the financial power of England, centered in the London Branch of the House of Rothschild. The fact was that in 1910, the United States was for all practical purposes being ruled from England, and so it is today. The ten largest bank holding companies in the United States are firmly in the hands of certain banking houses, all of which have branches in London. They are J.P. Morgan Company, Brown Brothers Harriman, Warburg, Kuhn Loeb and J. Henry Schroder. All of them maintain close relationships with the House of Rothschild, principally through the Rothschild control of international money markets through its manipulation of the price of gold. Each day, the world price of gold is set in the London office of N.M. Rothschild and Company.

Given the tough state of the economy, the largest collapse in 80 yrs, last night was a victory for the Dems and sanity. Sane and balanced people know how badly the country was trashed by Cheny/Bush,especially w/ the disastrous economic crash of ’08, 2 unfinished wars, unpaid for trillion $ drug plan and multi trillion $ tax cuts. It’s not surprising that hurting Americans lashed out in anger at the Dems, though very short sighted, and that they aren’t being patient enough to allow the recovering economy to improve.

I and others predicted that we would lose the House but hold the Senate…we did. The best news is that the ‘witch’ O’Donnell is gone as well as Fiorina,Angle and Meg Whitman w/ her $160 million personal spending on her campaign…good riddance, especially to the witch.

          • Radical RW’er

I see you are still in the spin zone Jeff. You love calling adversaries liars even when they are not. You love saying people are wrong even when there is no proof of that wrong.Which in reality makes you very wrong. This time I’m not waiting before I say something to you like in the past. Just so you can play you’re liars game. Now on to politic; You called out Brown,Boxer and Reid on many occasions yet all of their opponents money didn’t get these opponents elected.I look at that as a small victory in our election system. That money can’t always buy you that golden crown. I also said Reid would probably win and Grayson would loose. Right on both counts because I do think things out. That won’t always make me right but it certainly doesn’t make me wrong. Now congratulations to the Tea Party and all the energy they put forth in winning the House.

So let me get this straight, Denniso. It’s okay to campaign with other people’s money, but not your own.

I heard this from several liberals prior to yesterday. Won’t vote for Whitman because she’s a ‘richy’.

Better to have someone in charge who knows how to make things work, grow and prosper than another old, worn out liberal back-door deal croney hack who has it in for business.

People are so blasted ignorant. And the dems play on peoples envy.

The Liberals bought the “class warfare” BHO spewed about “rich” people being Fat Cats and Bad… only they mistake hardworking citizens making $250,000 as the enemy to envy and hate.

Good for Meg Whitman for using her own money and not being a burden on our dime.

If the Liberals want to be angry (or mad in their case) then they should be mad at the REAL RICH… Hollywood TV Actors (Demos), Pro-Ball Athletes, Corporate Owners, Wall Street Executives, Lawyers, Lobbists, and The Congress!!

Jeff H. I guess the California elections pissed you off even more than I would have imagined. Still that bitter old man you were before Nov 2.Right out of the gate with name calling. To say you call ‘um as you see’um is rather shallow to say when it’s not true. I don’t know how many times I’ve asked you a question or made a comment that goes unanswered. Too darn many to count and you’re smartazz replies don’t even measure up to an F. Next time we’ll see if you “stand up and present the facts” (you know, that mass between your ears that God gave you).I don’t need to know what some right wing “fact sheet” has to say. They are a dime a dozen. I want to see if you can think for yourself. Thank You and have a pleasant evening.

All things considered,I’m pretty pleased w/ the vote, especially given the fact that ALL the Repubs did for the last 2 yrs was focus on defeating Obama and the Dems instead of working like the Dems did to try and fix the disaster left by Bush.

Now the Repubs will have to take some responsibility for the state of the country since they now have some power. Fortunately,we still control most of the power structure. Obama will win big in 2012…bet on it now.

          • JeffH

I wonder if denniso and fast eddies fingers are getting tired yet from pointing at other people and placing blame. Did not Bush inherit a huge recession from Clinton, then go to work, and in two years had the economy rolling like a fine tuned machine. So whats Obama’s excuse? How long can you cover for him, and let him and you point fingers? How long does it take? Bush did it in two years, and he never once stood on his soap box and pointed fingers and cried and said whoa is me, Clinton left me this huge mess. No sir, not once. He went to work. I suggest you whiny ass liberals come down off your soap box, stop pointing fingers, and get your lazy butts to work, and quit relying on government hand outs to survive. That doesnt work when your the president. Pathetic.

          • Denniso

The recession at the beginning of the decade was minor and was just part of the business cycle, normal. This recession was a total collapse of the market and financial sector, banks and investment houses falling like dominoes. We were headed toward a total depression and most economists agreed w/ what Obama and the Dems did to stop it. We are recovering from the biggest crash since ’29 w/ the stock market up 85% and job growth for the past year.

Just like ’29,this crash came under a Repub president, just as the savings and loan collapse came under another Repub. Enron scandal? Also occured under Bush. It appears there is no end to the corruption and mismanagement of Repubs.

      • Kate8

Robin, We do need to keep the pressure on. And if we don’t slow down the massive flood of third world immigrants (both legal and illegal) we won’t have a prayer for keeping the dems out of power.

Believe it or not, California (like Colorado) used to be a conservative state, with all the farmers and small businesses. What I finally realized was that the massive immigrant and minority influx into CA conservative districts was meant to change the voting demographics in order to insure a permanent socialist climate. And with illegals now being able to vote here, there is little chance for conservatives being able to tilt even back to center.

I also realized that a democrat candidate here can get up and tell us, in so many words, that, if elected, all businesses will be driven out, our food and fuel costs will soar out of reach for the masses, cars will be made too costly to keep, and our taxes will drive us out of our homes. Still, the stupified electorate will dutifully check the box next to the ‘D’.

I am deeply saddened by the results of our election here, especially since I know there was so much voter fraud. Just as there was in Nevada with Reid. Bribing people to vote is just as unconscienable as marking fake ballots.

I have a sinking feeling that this will be the death knell for my beloved state, where I’ve spent my entire life. If you in the rest of the states don’t insist that your reps do something put a halt on third-world immigration, you will soon find yourselves in the same state as California (pun intended).

        • bruce d.

Kate8 I could not agree with you more about the people coming in from Third World Countries. They heavily use the social services. Amnesty will lead to citizenship that will lead to votes for democratic socialism in defiance of our constitution.

          • Kate8

bruce d. – Because of the court ruling that people can’t be asked to prove citizenship to register to vote, amnesty is de facto.

        • JeffH

Kate8, while I deeply saddened by by the results in California, I’m just not surprised. Until this morning, I thought there was a chance that this state might have a chance…but the population just doesn’t get it and most won’t even try to research why this state is bankrupt…a lot of my friends included. I should feel sorry for Nevadan’s, but like California, you reap what you sow!

          • Kate8

JeffH – Are you listening to Odumbo’s press conference?

He’s lying through his teeth, and spinning the election results out of orbit. I’m furious. He’s attempting to set conservatives up for a final squash.

Someone mentioned that 1 out of 2 people want Obamacare repealed. He said, “That means 1 out or 2 want to keep it”. What a moron. So it’s okay to FORCE half the country to comply with the other half, rather than call it a draw.

This jerk has got to go.

          • JeffH

Kate8, I refuse to watch this imposter any longer and it’s been that way for quite some time now, and will remain that way.

            Kate8, JeffH,

I feel for both of you, my state remained solidly blue with the exception for two Republican representatives. Govenor remained in O’Malleys hands and Mikulsky remained in her senate seat and oh by the way, the #2 Rat in the house Steny Hoyer only needed 1 county out of five to remain in his seat, go figure that one out!

All in all congrats to all who won and lets keep the heat on Washington and our elected officials because 2012 is two short years down the road.

          • Kate8

JeffH – I don’t ever watch him either – gives me a weak stomach. But I wanted to hear how he’d spin this. I was hoping to see a little reaction to America’s rebuke.

Not so. I think he’s got us right where he wants us. Just watch what he tries to do next, like imposing regulations and fees through different agencies, or by czar rulings.

He’s determined to move forward with this agenda, by hook or by crook. Mostly crook.

          • Jana

And what is this about Obama going on a trip to India and it is going to cost 200 Million dollars as they are renting the whole Taj Mahol? What is wrong with him? Does he think he is President of a Country Club and he is at a resort?
They are taking both AirForce 1 and AirForce 2.
            He just doesn’t get it.
He thinks he hasn’t done enough. He is a laughing stock.

          • Denniso

If you people are so wimpy that you can’t watch your political opponents, and learn from what they say, then you’re in trouble already.

          • Jana

That’s $200,000,000 PER DAY for about 3,000 of his buddies. Now, why does a real diplomat, not just a jet-set dignophile who is doing a prepuce check, need to travel with so many duck-heads?
I think he seriously believes he’s a communist dick-tater in the worst senescense of Russian potatoes.

          • Denniso

You’re repeating a lie and myth perpetrated by enemies of Obama. Nothing more than made up distortion and stupidity. Look it up and quit lying, accidentally or intentionally.

          • http://donthaveone Beberoni

When Obama comes on the tube, I turn it off. Ive far better things to do than sit there and watch someone blow hot air up my butt and tell lie after lie. If I wanted to see that, Id get me some old tapes of Saturday night live and watch Jon Lovitz do that habitual liar character. Its like watching Obama read his script.

      • Carole Howell

You people are such hypocrites, you expected Obama to change everything overnight. I read you all here over and over complaining

Things change slowly, and the economy is turning around, slowly yes, but turning all the same.

Lets hope after this election, the gains that have been made continue to increase. The focus should be on creating more jobs. We should look to Germany as an example, they have created many new jobs with their focus on alternative energy projects, their economy is booming.

What are you going to say if we move backward? We need to keep our newly elected on track.

If they start demanding investigations over trivial crap, and letting the real big criminals go Scot Free, how will that help. They should go after the big guys. Not investigating maids and gardeners. But the people who perpetrated the financial melt down. Have you been keeping up with what the criminals on Wall Street actually did to this country? We need strong regulations to prevent them from continuing the same, which they pretty much are doing now. Notice, no one went to jail or lost their jobs. We do not need petty distractions here, we need to focus on the big guys who nearly destroyed not only our nation but others around the world. Their crimes are huge, monstrous.

What makes us shrug our shoulders over white collar criminals who do the real damage and rob us blind. While we home in on the little tiny issues and make federal cases out of them. Why do we shoot our selves in the foot this way? Clinton lies about a BJ, federal case. LBJ lies about reasons for Vietnam War (Gulf of Tonkin) Nixon, Carter continue the lies, 59,000 of our guys lost, 6 million Vietnamese in that tiny country are slaughtered……and nothing. Bush lies us into another war and countries are destroyed, people are slaughtered, our guys killed by the 1000s and tens of 1000s are maimed and brain damaged and nothing happens to these murderous liars. I left Kennedy out, cause he wanted us out before it got so bad.

Lets not let ourselves be manipulated. Our tax dollars should not be wasted on the trivial. Focus on the big guys. The real rippers.

        • Kate8

Carole, We saw the direction Obama was going and WE DON’T LIKE IT. We don’t want to give him any more rope. It’s time to reign him in.

Everyone at the top needs to be investigated and exposed. I won’t hold my breath, though, because to the Left it simply won’t matter.

          • Denniso

Carole, if we were like the Repubs we would hope and even work to stop the economic recovery, because it could then hurt the Repubs in 2 yrs…they would share some blame for it. But,we’re not vile and malevolent and we want the economy to improve to help everyone, even the vilest Repubs who have fought against all the attempts to rescue and improve the country.

          • Mike In MI

            Carole and Denniso -
If either of you can, show me where (historically) any Progresive (either president or set of legislators) has been able to use liberal theology (like that taught by J. M. Keynes or other flaming pubies) to extract an economy from the depths of depression without a war…that includes Butch/Sheneyil. BTW, there is not any evidence that won’t be down-graded in the next month that Oblama-lama-ding-dong’s policies have done anything except DAMAGE.

          • Jana

And remember, being a Progressive is the same as being a Socialist or Communist.

            —– or Democrat—

          • Denniso

Children, children…The economy has been growing for a year now, after the largest collapse in 80 yrs,and the stock market has recovered about 90% of it’s previous value. Is that happening by magic or could it be the Keynesian approach that Obama took to help the economy?
I know, you don’t understand enough to answer the question…

          • Denniso

Mike in MI…an example of Keynesian economics working? Sure, you’re living through it right now. Obama stimulated the economy and made that more important in the short run than the deficit. The economy has had job growth for a yr,and overall growth for about a yr. The stock market is up to about 85% of what it was before the collapse. Sure, after the worst crash since ’29,we are not growing jobs quickly enough to absorb the new workers coming into the market every month, but we’re growing nevertheless. Economic stimulus by the gov’t in the short run is working. It takes a little time.

You and the tea party would cut spending and taxes and watch the economy stall out further, while waiting for the magical ‘market’ to fix things…sure, maybe after another 20 yrs.

        • Angel Wannabe

Carole, your right the economy is changing, just not for the better! You had better keep reading.

ANGE ; i have read so many pithy comments in here today ; yours is one of the best !
“NO_The Election Can’t Save Us From The Fed, they control the drain plug of our economy” so excellent ; so well said ! so clear sighted !

    • Richard Pawley

John says, “If this happens, and the Chinese do begin to liquidate Treasuries, it would create a level of financial havoc that would make the Great Depression seem like a bump in the road. I can’t see any way we are going to get out of this unscathed.” He is so right! Over four years ago in the final chapter of my autobiography I warned in 25 pages on the economy, that we were headed for a stock market crash and what would eventually be called THE GREATER DEPRESSION “that would make the Great Depression look like a walk in the park”. The crash happened and “The Greater Depression” is still coming because congress has not stopped their insane spending and with it the inflation that such spending causes.
Yes, finally, a segment of the country has repudiated the Marxist Socialism of the 111th Congress but is it logical that in a state that has the highest unemployment in the nation the citizens should return to congress one of the men most responsible for it? What is wrong with those who live in Nevada? Isn’t 14.4% official unemployment high enough for them? Or look at California, a state that will not consider smaller government or less socialism but has voted for more of the same. Californians simply could not bring themselves to consider someone outside the status quo, yet they will come begging to Washington for a stimulus handout and the FED is creating enough money to pay off all their debts with funny money. After all, if the banks and insurance companies are “to big fail” certainly our biggest state is deserving too? I don’t live, I wouldn’t live there, but I’d wouldn’t mind a few million too.
A few weeks before the democrats took over congress in 2006 the price of gold was in the high 500′s and the squandering of our money by that 111th Congress has resulted in today’s price just four years later (the day after the 2010 election) of well over 1300 an ounce. So what you say? Well, gold is the canary in the mine of the health of the world’s economy. It is not just here in the USA but all the world is printing money, and only China has been encouraging it’s citizens to invest some of their money in gold. Can you imagine the progressives in congress advising Americans to buy some gold? They hate it because it represents sound money and fiscal responsibility. They outlawed it once and will likely do so again.
Is the Federal Reserve the cause of all this? Well, it was the democrats of the previous century that gave them the authority to do what they are doing, voted them into existence, but it was the congress of the Clinton administration who voted in 1999 to do away with the laws that kept the banks in check and allowed them to invent new derivatives and cause all the problems we have today. Can we do away with them and restore our country to issuing it’s own money as we did for an inflation-less century before they came on the scene? It’s not impossible but it’s not likely. There would be an instant million IRS agents out of work. It’s like saying can we call back our troops from all over the world? Of course, but then there would be many millions more unemployed. There are no easy answers to any of this but moral responsibility, lower taxes and fiscal restraint are absolutely necessary if we are to survive as a nation (and you undoubtedly know that some are suggesting that this is the century when the USA will break up into several countries after the Marxist Progressives destroy the dollar). I think it is more likely that the banks will establish a world currency to replace what I called “the disgraced dollar” in my latest book. But lower taxes? They always seem to stimulate the economy but the progressives of both parties want and have planned higher taxes, a 1% charge on every financial transaction and so many more. The cruelest tax of all will be on the poor and the elderly, both groups the democrats pretend to care about. That tax is one we don’t think of as a tax. It’s called inflation but it is really a tax caused by to much money being printed (although it isn’t really printed anymore). You and I certainly don’t have to much money but the banks have billions that they aren’t spending or lending.
Is all this inevitable? Of course not. The American People have proven that yesterday by their votes but there is much work to do if we want to keep our country intact. The money the progressives in congress, both democrat and republican, have squandered in the past four years has been the tipping point and big inflation is the necessary result. It cannot be stopped but it can be slowed down. Only a tough tightening of the belt, lower taxes, a return to morality and common sense approaches can stop the demise of our nation. Smaller government is a necessity. The inflation is already in the works as we can’t un-spend the money that the 111th congress has already thrown away.
Sadly the Democrats in our state capital have refused to put a 4% cap on property taxes and in the county in which I live it was announced yesterday that property taxes are going up over 8% next year. What these unrealistic people in government don’t understand is that if they keep squeezing those who elected them they will soon find they have killed their golden goose of taxpayers. Smarter men than I have already predicted a massive tax revolt by millions within 24 months, and if congress doesn’t do all they can to lower taxes and stop their inflationary spending then you had better be buying non-perishable food because it will be going up far more than gold and silver.

      • Carole Howell

        Pawley,
There is no Marxist socialism going on here, you are like ‘Chicken Little’

California has not voted for more of the same. Watch CA grow now. Jerry
Brown pulled the state out of bankruptcy after Reagan drove it there, read the history, towns could not pay their street light bills, state workers were paid by vouchers.

Jerry Brown turned all that around then, he reduced government spending and he created over a million and a half jobs in the state. He is not more of the same.

Watch California start to grow and succeed. Watch. Just watch. Of course the states problems are worse now than 30 years ago, but CA will grow under Brown and will pull up the rest of the nation as it is the largest economy in the country.

BTW, this country is made up of both Socialist and capitalist systems. You want to privatize everything? Watch what you wish for. What would this country look like w/o Soc. Sec., medicare, medicaid, no Veteran Admin, no public hiways, bridges, transportation, hospital emergency rooms, no public power companies, water plants, police depts, fire depts, public health depts., public schools, U S Post Office (best model in the world) public Libraries (best models in the world)Minimum Wage, (right to work states have the lowest wages in the country) U S military, National Guard and many more I have not mentioned.

Watch what you wish for, w/o all these socialist programs, this country could easily look like Bangladesh. Think about it. Just think.

        • KimM

You must be one of those union employees that stand the most to gain by socialism, who have been spoon fed this rhetoric so much and so often that you actualy believe it. And one of those who stand the most to lose by a fiscally responsible government that respects the rights of the “Rest” of us true taxpayers and the Constitution that this country was founded upon.
We don’t need two government employees for every one taxpayer…. in fact I don’t think we really need one for every ten.

As for the Right To Work?? Everyone in this country should have that right, without haveing to give their hard earned money to someone in a union to spend with it the way they seem fit. (Like buying people into public office)that we don’t want, need or with any conscience ever cast a vote for. As well as, EVERYONE should be allowed to work without fear of intimidation from those that are too lazy and feel that the company owes them more than what they are willing to work for., and somehow feel that they should not be held responsible for the work they do not do efficiently, correctly nor effectively. I firmly believe that the money that I earn would be best taken home to my family instead of financing some union head or thier political agenda! I work for my money, let them work for theirs.

  • Bitter Libertarian

“Both had zero business experience before moving to government.”

The Federal Reserve is no more Federal then Federal Express. Its a PRIVATE bank owned and run from Europe. The problem isnt the FED printing money and enslaving the US its the fact that there is a FED!

As far as power…..”Give me power over the issuance of a nations money and I care not who writes the laws”- Rothschild.

Sorry Charlie…America loses EVERY election as long as the FED has FULL power over our economy IE: What EVERYTHING is WORTH including your wages, property, car, healthcare etc!

    • duggy dugg

dear Bitt ; right on all points ; the thing sinking our ship of state is the sales of u s bonds ! to the fedd and others ; why borrow ??? why borrow by selling bonds ??? why sell bonds to raise operating cash when all you have to do is print and electronically issue dollars!!!!!!

      • RWS

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but the govt. doesn’t have the ability to print money for itself. They sell bonds to get the printed money from the money printers(the fed) or others(those who have money that was printed once before by the fed) and are in debt to them (the fed) or other bond holders. That’s the feds plan, keep the govt in debt. This creates a cycle of running off borrowed money in which the govt has to pay back with interest and the cycle never ends. Increase spending, increase the money supply, increase inflation all the while continuing to put the govt in debt and all the people of this nation. They also like you and I going into debt.

only GOD can save us from the fed. what people don’t know or won’t belive is that satan is in control of this system , not obama , pelosi, or reed or the senate or the congress or george soros. read your bible folks before it’s to late. stop sitting in front of the computer or tv and read your bible. and if you don’t understand it find someone who does.

What do you think of Rand Paul?
Maybe you better look for a blacks only lunch counter my man.

        • http://donthaveone Beberoni

I think he can help this country. Lets see what your guys have done. Reid – Nevada has 14 percent unemployement, the highest in the nation. Nice job Harry. Barbara Boxer – illegal immigration has crippled the economy and left them bankrupt. Yet she says we need to help them. Really. California people, Im sorry, but you are really dumb to have enabled her to hurt you more. Really, really dumb. You cant claim ignorance, because you do know by now what she does. And you know it hurts the state of California. Dumb, dumb, dumb. And didnt California learn from what Brown did the first time? What makes you think he has changed? The rest of them are just losers, and Barney Frank should be in jail for the Freddie Mac-Fannie Mae scam, him and Jamie Gorelick and Franklin Raines. They are the reason the banks collapsed, and I know it, you know it, W knows it, God knows it, and the American people know it. The guy should be in jail. And also, I believe sodomy is against the law also, and he willingly and braggingly participates in that. Your guys have had their chance and failed Norm, and what is really scary, is there are large enough concentrations of uneducated stupid dumb people that willingly and knowingly allow them more time to take advantage of them. Unbelievable.

Oh, but we won enough to handcuff the great imposter, the potus obummer. The boy has been rendered harmless, no more shall he be allowed to go into the backroom, close the door, and ramrod his ill advised and ill thought out schemes upon us. How sweet it is. In 2012, we roost out the rest the losers. Of course, there is only so much you can do with the most in debt state, California, the state of Nevada, that is in the top 5 always in murders, divorce, spousal abuse, bankruptcy, assaults, muggings, and thats just a tip of the iceberg for them, so what do you expect from Nevada? Then there is Massachusetts, who continually vote for drunks like Ted Kennedy that constantly raised their taxes, and John Kerry, and they wonder why they have some of the highest tax rates in the country. Yep, only so much you can do when people dont even recognize who is screwing them.

        • TIME

          Norm,

Ok lets see I am black, I was raised in Upstate New York where there are far more people who hate blacks than in the Deep South.

So whats your point Norm, as per your standard post there is nothing other than the “standard 3 second sound bite hate filled rethoric.”

FYI, Rand Paul is a fine man just like his Dad, I gave both funds as well supported and would be happy to do so at any time.

          • http://donthaveone Beberoni

I would like to know what Norm meant also, because myself, I choose to look at people as God does, and I guarantee you, God doesnt see any color on my skin or yours Time, when he looks at us. He see’s our heart, and whats in it, and that is what we are measured and judged by, not no outside color. So I really dont know what Norm meant, other that to me, and Im white, it makes me see Norm as a racist bastard, and I dont think there is any other way to put it.

        • Kate8

Norm, Conservatives and Libertarians WELCOME blacks and all minorities into the fold. You know, the one’s you guys reject because they choose to THINK and don’t tow the liberal line.

          Your comment was hypocritical.

I know, Angel. I just get so tired of being called ‘racist’ when we disagree with a liberal minority. Democrats excoriate minorities who don’t walk in lockstep and do as they are told by their ‘masters’. What do we call that? And not a peep from anywhere.

I’m hoping that more and more of our minority brothers and sisters wake up and realize how they are being used. We will gladly embrace them in the cause for liberty.

    • Karolyn

      There is no satan!

      • Kate8

Not so, Karolyn. It’s just not what most people think.

Did you ever consider that Satan is the corrupted unconscious, which seduces us into believing that our physical existence is our true reality and source of everything? It really is the ‘devil’ who makes us do it.

He is the creation demanding to be worshipped rather than Creator.

        • Denniso

Satan is a myth created by ignorant people thousands of yrs ago, when humans were all pretty much clueless about the world. There is good and evil in the world and both lie in the brains and actions of humans. Pretty simple, if you think a little.

          • Christin

            Not so, Denniso.
God will hold you accountable for any lies you tell and for causing people not to come to Him.

You are either on God’s side or satan’s… have you chosen?

          • Denniso

            Are you an adult?

      • Christin

        Karolyn,
I’m sure you (like everyone else, me included) wish there was no satan, but there is. Satan is the fallen angel, Lucifer, who wished to be God. God banished him from Heaven and he took one third of the Angels with him.

God is good and the devil/satan is bad.
The Bible (and many stories in books) use the “good versus evil” theme.
You really can not have one without the other. That is why God sent His Son, Jesus, to earth as mankind is sinful and in need of a Savior to be redeemed. God can not look upon us in our sin. God is Holy and Just and must punish that which is bad and he blesses us in our faithfulness and obedience to Him.

There is also a Heaven and a Hell, too. (good and evil)
God resides in Heaven and the saved who trust in Christ will live there for all eternity with God ….and…. Hell is the place for the lost who have denied Jesus as the Savior and Son of God and will spend all eternity there separated from God. God will send the devil/satan to hell for his lies, hatred, endless death and devistation he is doing to mankind.

That is why God tells us in the Bible “to hide the scriptures in our heart”, that way you know what the truth is when someone speaks of things.

      • Al Sieber

Karolyn, do mean the devil didn’t make me do it? or there’s no right or wrong, good or evil, Ying and yang etc. where does all the evil come from in the world? I would like to know if there really is a Satan, the fallen angel, or ….?

Oh really? Then who is it that has put the blinders on your eyes that have kept you from seeing Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your saviour? Yes, that would be Satan. Who do you think the father of lies and hate is? Again, that would be satan. There would be no lying, no hating, no murder, no lust, no greed, no sin if it werent for satan. What a sad life you must live, thinking your here, you die, and you go into the ground to rot. If thats the case, then just what is the reason to live for? There would be none. If that was the case, you might as well be a criminal and rob and steal and rape and plunder and…..oh yeah, that is what satan has people do that dont know God. Yeah, its kind of like that.

I’m telling you…self sustainability will be key in the coming years if things crash. This means being able to handle the basics – food, clothing, shelter. Bullets will have more value than gold if it gets bad enough.

Hopefully round 1 of 2 will show the world that we are not roll over, tickle our belly, frady cats. We may have to beg forgiveness and write China and Japan an IOU. They will understand :).

Who are they? And they must not own Fox News, because they differ from all the rest in that they actually report the truth.

          • http://none Jeff Hanks

you must be kidding about Fox news telling the truth. They are only a propaganda machine. They can’t even agree on climate change. If you have money and pay them or can give them power they will say whatever you want them to. You have been brainwashed Mr. Beberoni. It is pathetic that some of the things they say passes for news. The irony in all this is that people get the governments they deserve. The changes the tea-partiers enact are going to make the average american poorer, less healthy, less free and more worse off and none of you will be able to see it because the rich who benefit the most from the changes will keep paying fox to pull the wool over your eyes. Fox is controlled by the bourgeoisie (the capitalist class who own most of society’s wealth and means of production). They are going to make it look like you have a voice and control and are promoting change but they are in league with people who really just want to gain more wealth and power for themselves and they will do itt by taking more of what you have.

          • Angel Wannabe

Beberoni, google the federal reserve, start from there and trace it back.

          • Robert S

Berberoni Fox news is owned by Rupert Murdoch from Australia. It used to be that the law was you couldn’t own both a newspaper and TV station. But the rules were changed for him and is now the law. Murdoch is a puppet of the Bronfman Family who made their fortune bootlegging from Canada during the depression. They are aligned with the Rothschilds who are at the forefront of the NWO.

          • vicki

            Jeff Hanks writes:
“They (Fox News) can’t even agree on climate change.”

Umm…. To be “fair and balanced” they would have to present multiple sides of a debate.

          • http://none Jeff Hanks

Thanks Vicki: to be fair and balanced they would have to present both sides of an argument. My statement that they can’t agree on climate change was very vague. What I meant was they cannot see or believe the fact that 8 billion people on the planet are changing the climate. As you said it is better for a station to present both sides of an argument and I find fox was created only to put forward political talking points for the purpose of getting certain outcomes and certain people elected from a hidden agenda that the conservative right seems to be in control of.

          • vicki

And even IF fox were the tool that liberals claim, we would need them to establish balance against the so painfully obvious liberal MSM whose obvious purpose is to get liberals (not the good kind from the 70′s) elected.

If you are looking for the good kind of liberal look to the libertarian party and it’s candidates. (http://www.lp.org)

          • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Dont really understand how you all can give ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC and the rest of the liberal networks a pass, when for years they have just presented their left wing liberal pacifist appeasing anti God agenda, and Fox news actually does allow people from the other side to express their opinions, and gives air time to the opposing side. You dont get that from the alphabet networks. We will have to disagree on this one, as they are the only ones I see that actually report the news. I hear stories on there, that end up being backed up as fact, that everyone needs to know about, and the other networks never tell a soul. Imagine that. Cant expose their left wing democrats, as they are owned by them.

        • duggy dugg

i agree ; the media is controlled by those few ; hence the media says what they want it to say ; i.e. muzzled and handcuffed from saying the truth ; the fedd is raping us ; our treasury is a willing co-conspirator

You amateur “climatologists” are interesting. You panic if summer is warm as is natural!

You completely say it is terrible, when history shows that the warm periods of the earth’s climate cycle, which is a natural cycle according to history from millions of years, were times of great expansion in arts and sciences. GOOD for humanity.

Global warming is a good thing, historically. The evidence is in History. Why do you “greenies” want to keep people in want and prevent the normal expansion and easy living of a warm globe?

I simply cannot understand this demand for the status quo, or even going back to colder, harder times!

Most all of the “evidence” that is bandied around has been shown to be falsified, as time goes on. Falsifying data and misinterpreting it is big big business these days. Especially at the UN.

It is too bad that, as in Politics, people believe a vociferous few who lead us astray for their own profits, over the lessons of history, and science. I think it comes in part from the removal of accurate history and real science from our classrooms here, and not teaching it in much of the world at all.

And our economic woes can be traced to lack of accurate economics training; young people cannot even write up a balanced budget, and sometimes I wonder if our Congress can either!

But hey! The get 12 years training in homosexuality in public schools! They are good at that when the graduate! That is what really counts in life! And I hear the UN saying, “Amen”.

yes impeach him for trying to make your population healthy and equal to ensure everyone has access to basic healthcare. Impeach him for trying to regulate wallstreet after they robbed you in broad daylight of trillions. Impeach him for not being able to clean up the massive mess and debt George Bush left you with. Impeach him for trying to bring America into the 21st century by supporting green energies and the creation of green jobs and investing in new technologies and attempting to become a world leader. Impeach him for not getting you into a 3rd world war like McCain probably would have. You talk about the fed being evil. The same ones that run the fed are the ones that are supporting the tea-party movement. Mark my words if you are not careful, the powerful people who want to control you and create more wealth for themselves will have a much easier time to destroy your country through the tea-party movement than through the democrats. You have a lf allies in the democrats to destroy the fed and free america. Whether america can work together and compromise will decide whether America stays a world leader. Obama is a smart and hardworking man but you have been brainwashed to the contrary. The guy who writes this collumn has a huge bias. Of course he is going to tell you to buy gold, that is what makes him money. How can you trust anyting he says?

Sorry, JH, you’re a dupe (aka, useful idiot). You’ve been brainwashed and the truth is currently beyond your means. Good luck with your detox, if it ever should occur.

Don’t you see that the same could be said of you? It truly amazes me that you conservatives, or whatever you want to call yourselves, can see only what you want to see and hear only what you want to hear? That goes for anyone who cannot see that there is more than one side to everything! There are no hard and fast answers to anything. Nobody KNOWS!! We’re all just guessing!

          • Kate8

Wow, Karolyn! You just described your side as well!

          • Karolyn

Yes, Kate, that’s what I’ve been trying to say all along.

          • Denniso

Karolyn is saying that deep thinking people see the complexity in life and human affairs…narrow minded people see most things in black and white and reduce most complexity to simplistic answers.

          • Jana

Hmmm, Denniso now feels it is his job to explain what Karolyn means. Does this mean that he thinks Karolyn needs help as she is not articulate enough to do it on her own?

          • Kate8

            JeffH – LOL.

      • Lewis Munn

You cannot impeach him. Gotta go through Congress as a whole; and they are mostly rich and not too interested in impeachment.

As to the “good” things he has done, folks, most are not so good for the common people; for example, the new Healthcare means I lose a lots, and as food costs go up and up and my SS does not, soon I will no longer be able to eat. And my health will deteriorate rapidly.

If Obama did not take part of my SS away for the illegals, I would be able to live a little longer. We do need to put our government folks, especially those at the top, on the things that they inflict on the rest of us. Same SS. Same healthcare. Same taxation on large incomes and holdings. Same death taxes. IF we make them live like we do it will make a big difference! Politicians should not be treated specially. They are just people. Citizens under law, like the rest of us…or should be.

They should even be forced to fill in and compute their own tax forms, and be audited like any of us would be!

Because we let them, they get cocky and give themselves special privileges and sock it to the rest of us. How long will the sheeple let this go on??

      • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Listen you uneducated one. And I say that with all due respect, as you are uneducated on this health care matter. Have you read it? Do you know what all it contains? Do you know it is designed to cut off and eliminate all private health care companies, where the government will have a monopoly and control it all. They will soon force those who cannot afford health care, to purchase it, and it will be forced, if your working. Of course now, Joe Crack dealer who wont work for a living will have health care, but us working people will be screwed. And then they buried all kinds of things in there that dont belong in any health care bill, like when you sell your house you now get to pay like another 3.8 to 5 percent tax on it, that wasnt there before. Yeah, there are all kinds of sweatheart collections in there for the government. I mean, they have done such a wonderful job managing Social Security – broke, US Post office – broke, Medi-care-broke, Medi-caid – broke, the public school system – broke, and now you actually really and truly, expect them to run the health system any differently? Are you NUTS? Come on man, gimme a break and educate yourself please. This will not end will, unless it is repealed, and I will guarantee you that, as it does not take a rocket scientist to figure this one out. Their track record of running things stands for itself sir. Please pay attention to it. If you dont learn from history, you are doomed to repeat it. Understand?

    • PatriotSara

Yes, this sounds like a good place for starting (after the audit of course)”Abolish the Federal Reserve, try Bernanke for treason against the state and, for good old fashioned sanitys’ sake, impeach that imposter who is perched in the White House, doing his Cloward Piven best to bankrupt and destroy the United States of America.”

Does that make sense to you wizes?

    • JeffH

Bilderbeg/CFR = Bernake = The Fed = money controllers = “One World” governance…pretty simple stuff sometimes.

      • Angel Wannabe

JeffH, I believe the only reason Government & Governing becomes complicated, is when our representatives lie and they have to cover they’re azz’s!

        • JeffH

Yes AW, I learned early in life, that every time you lie, you get caught…from my mother. Better to swallow the pride and get it(punishment)over and done with. Most of the politicians can’t do that because their lives have ended up to be one big lie.

  • StarvinLarry

Quantitive easing II if it did not work the first time-why try it again? The Fed just creating money out of thin air has never been a good thing, now it’s getting far worse.
We can look forward to a few things -Hyperinflation-Devaluation of the dollar, and the total collapse of the US economy-the morons in charge are going to create an economic “crises” that makes the last one which we have not really recovered from look like a minor inconvenience.
All the Chinese and the Japenese have to do is cash in their Tresuries, and it’s over-total economic collapse-it will take a wheelbarrow full of cash to buy dinner.

  • http://none Over Your Shoulder

Amen, Home Boy. Let’s make sure the newly elected congressmen and the tea party participants understand who controls the money supply or all is lost. Obama knows. That’s why he is still smiling, in spite of the election flip flop. No time to relax. Now is the time to pour oil on the fire and keep it burning or we sink like a scuttled ship in 2012.

  • Villiam

We the people are the government. We overpromised that which we can’t deliver. It is really no different than the government using new funny money to buy its own debt! In both cases we ensure that we are going to have severe difficulties because we insist on self-destructing.

The recession is still in full flower…. The adjustments will be made if we like them or not. Next, we will have a depression that will
shock everyone because of its severity and length…even the Fed Chairman will be in a state of shock.

Prepare for survival folks. Barter. Buy those junk U.S. silver coins now so you can function. The banks are basically history because they are an empty bankrupt shell….like the U.S. itself!

An incredible load of debt and promises which can never be honored.
The U.S. in some shape or form and on some unknown time-line will default.

When that ends…it will rise again from the ashes.

This is no secret, this has been foretold for thousand years, only now are people starting to open their eyes to it because we as a nation are finally turning back to God.
Things will never get better, they will at times appear to but never get better, but we still as a nation have to put our faith in GOD, not man and we STILL have to fight for what is right and that is that GOD will prevail!
You see it does not matter who is in power, man and his love for money is destroying our nation but we as a nation have to put our faith in God for no MAN nor group can save us. And yes we do have to fight for God’s laws and what is right!

        • vicki

          Teresa writes:
“his love for money is destroying our nation”

It is not now nor has it ever been mans love for money. That is the wedge that progressives use to try and control our thought. To pit the more successful against the lessor.

The sin is the love of Power. To have people worship them above God.

  • Bob Wire

Congrats ~ everyone ~ I’m willing to live with the results and not b1tch and cry about any of it. ~ I accept it as an straight up honest election and carried out well. No sour grapes here!

A lot of lofty words spoken on the part of many, I’d enjoy seeing just some of them come true, feeling very lucky if it might happen.

I couldn’t tell if John Boehner was trying to swallow a gas bubble or just clouding up during his short speech last night. He spoke of many things grand and noble.

They are all telling us, they got the message, that they are ready to listen to the American People.

But they didn’t say which American people, if the past servers as any example, I’m not one of them, only the one left to pays their freight.

In any case, this is going cut heavy into John’s bar time and I hope he’s up to the heavy work load, for there is much to do.

If they do the things they say they plan to do at the Federal Level, it will be City,County and State that need to cut back their spending as well or they will be the ones in our pockets. This will carry the fight to local levels and no doubt be very heated.

How big projects and economic growth is to come out of this is yet to be understood. “Someone” is needed to show up! Someone that hasn’t been an active player the last 2 years.

I don’t see it happening and will adjust myself accordingly. I turned a man down yesterday that was outside the drug store asking for a few bucks for food a shelter. A few bucks was all I had and just having a tooth pulling my generosity waning. I plan to keep that attitude.

In any case, I hope the GOP feels inclined to play a little ball now that the odds are in their favor and start administering to the Peoples Business and quit sitting on their hands.

Is people like Rand Paul going to make a big difference? I hope so.

    Hope springs eternal

I will say this much about Boehners remarks last night…regardless of what anyones opinon is for the man is he did something that I wish the President and everyone in congress and actually a lot of us Americans would do…He stood on national TV, in front of the world to see and he humbled himself before us all…and THAT my friend took courage, and for that I give him respect! I applaud his remarks for I do truly feel he heard the American peoples cry to Congress and I do feel he meant what he said at least in the moment and I congratulate him on his courage in front of his fellow associates and Americans to speak so plainly.

Teresa, I missed it but I agree with you. The real work lies in front of Boehner and what he can accomplish with Congress, but don’t look for the POTUS to waver one inch from the agenda that has been handed down to him…does Boehner care enough about America as a nation …or???? Try to catch it Jeff, It was a fine short speech, about as “heart felt” as I’ve ever heard JB make.

Touching is a way. ~ But it could have been him just trying to swallow back a gas bubble. For sure, JB was fighting to hold back “something”

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

What they need to do, is take away all the government handouts the left has been enlarging each and everytime they get into office. What they need to do is take away the tax raises the democrats have levied on the people each and everytime they have gotten into office. What they need to do, is deal sternly and closed fist with the enemies of this nation, not sit down and apologize to them, or to give them lawyers after they are caught trying to kill us. What they need to do is sit down, all together as one, and pray to the Lord Jesus Christ that He would lead them down the paths of righteousness, to be a good and strong nation after His heart, and they would be surprised at the blessing this nation would receive, instead of standing in front of the world and tell them that we are not a Christian nation. We have undergone so many damning things these last two years, now it is time to go the other way, shake Satan off of this government, and rise above it. Our government has been operating in the dark too long. Its high time to come into the light where they can see.

      • http://none Jeff Hanks

what about all the handouts to corporations? With all the money given to banks during the bailout and after every man woman and child could have been brought out of poverty and I have a feeling if that had of happened, America would be out of recession. Instead it was given to CEO’s and banks and very few people benefited. America has dealt sternly and closed-fisted with many countries and it has got you nowhere. If you want respect and to be able to work with people you have to treat them with respect and show them where doing something is in their mutual interest and if they don’t agree then let them be. How many countries has the American government assassinated people in because they did not like the countries ideology or they were trying to protect America’s interest. Kennedy said, “Those who have ridden on the backs of tiger’s have ended up inside.” You kept a lot of people in jail for 7 or 8 years including a few child soldiers. Many of them were not guilty. What kind of a society locks people away without a fair trial for 7 or 8 years…especially children. How can you charge Kadr for killing an American when Americans have killed thousands of Afghanis and Iraqis. The basic tenet of Christianity if I am not mistaken is treating others the way you would want to be treated. This is common sense but seems to be lacking in Afghanistan and Iraq in the first place. The american government metes out justice in the same way that corporations protect the environment or protect the consumer. Most of it is window dressing. It is good to pray but people must take action to hold their leaders accountable. Giving corporations the power to give limitless amounts of money to candidates reeks of scandal. Politics is the shadow business casts across society. You shook satan off your government when you got rid of Bush. I am pretty sure Christ would walk with Obama before he would walk with the ideals of most republican/ tea-party candidates.

        • Jeep

Wait, wait, wait…sooo, Bush was Satan? Or, is Bush still Satan? Does that mean Texas is really Hell? You know I thought I saw a tail peeking out of W’s coat the other day…hmmm…

          • Bob Wire

well, in August the Devil comes to Texas to cool off, drink tequila and play with pretty brown girls with deep brown bedroom eyes and flowing long hair as black as midnight under a iron skillet.

          • 45caliber

            Bob:

What are you talking about?? The Devil doesn’t come to Texas in August! It’s too hot for him. He only comes around New Years.

        • Teresa

          God’s law is unchanging

Man’s laws can change from one day to the next

God’s Laws are higher than Man’s Laws

God’s laws usually don’t contravene Man’s laws where there is freedom of Religion

If there was a conflict between God’s law and Man’s law, a Christian would be advised to keep God’s Law

It would be better to go to Jail than to rot in Hell

We as Americans need to look at the future and learn to forgive and learn to put our faith back where it belongs for God truly is the only answer to our prayers!

        • 45caliber

          Hanks:

If you are at war with someone and you take a prisoner, is he a criminal???

No one has said so to me. The prisoner is a prisoner-of-war – not a criminal. So you don’t try him for a crime but you do keep him locked up to prevent him from getting another gun and shooting at you again.

Or perhaps, you are insisting we should shoot all prisoners-of-war so we won’t have to lock them up?

          • Angel Wannabe

Agreed 45!, someone captured in war is a POW, not a civilian criminal. Two different kind of criminals, if you will. They should stay locked the hell up until the war is over and If they’re brought to trial, they should under NO circumstances be tried in a civilian court.

          • http://none Jeff Hanks

You are right. I can see your point.. it would be foolish to release a prisoner because he may shoot at you again. I think it is a shame that some of the prisoners who may be a victim of being informed on for financial gain have to stay locked up for many years and some of them were tortured. It gives justification for other groups around the world to hold people without trial for long periods of time and legitimizes torture as well. A few of the detainees were children and under international law they should not have been subjected to what they were. War has no rules and is hell on earth. It would be better not to go to war in the first place. It cost at least a trillion dollars for what?

        • http://donthaveone Beberoni

No sir, you are wrong. Taking care of the poor is the churches job, not the governments. As a Christian, I am charged with helping the poor and the widow and the downtrodden, not the government. That is why I chose to tithe, you know, giving 10 percent of my pay each week to my home church, as just a start of my giving process. Just the start of it. If all Christians did this, there would be, as God puts it, ” enough in the storehouse” to feed all. But many so called Christians fail to put their money where their mouth is, and that is so sad. You show me someone who puts their money where their mouth is in anything, and Ill show you someone who believes in what they are doing. Enough said. But its not the governments job to take from me, then decide who they think it should go to. No sir. Ive seen the results of that all my life, and its ugly. People have made a way of life, collecting from the government and I personally have heard many of them say, “why work” when they pay me to sit home? That is the mentality, and its wrong. No good comes from ill gotten gain, and that is written also. If your able to work, and you choose to sit around and take handouts, that are actually really needed by some people, then shame on you, that is ill gotten goods, and no good will come from it. But sir, its not the governments job to do this. Thats why we have this mess, because of government hand outs. Thats a fact.

    • Angel Wannabe

Bob wire, the Re pubs hands have been UNTIED as of last night. Personally I think they handled themselves well, in a Democratic majority, considering they didn’t agree on the policies of the Obama Administration.__ It’s all about compromise give and take here, but if the American people are saying NO, and the Washington Re-pubs truly felt the Dem’s policies were wrong, it was better they said no,stand on it, than to vote yes for safety’s sake, and be sorry later!__There is definite difference between the parties. Either party trying to emulate the other makes no sense. If your gonna be a Dem then be a Dem, if your a Re pub, then do it!_-This crap of trying to be something else, just to win votes and influence special interest is ridiculous. The smears and the back stabbings in Washington have gotta stop__They got a job to do and they’d better do before it’s too late!

      • Kate8

I agree with you, Angel W. The whole yap about compromise by the dems only has one meaning for them, anyway: the right compromises, the left wins.

We are much safer when Congress is unable to act. I’d rather see them spend years being able to ‘do nothing’ than get the kind of cr*p laid on us we’ve had over the past few years.

I say, darn right. Be the party of H*LL NO.

        • JeffH

K8 & AWB…hell yes to hell NO…stand up and be counted and give no quarter.

        • LimestoneFreedom

Give Congress a 10 year UNPAID leave of absence and we would be far better off!

          • Christin

Leave of absence, lay them off, fire them, …but make sure they get a pay cut first!

        • Bob Wire

well I hope so Angel, I hope so.

The liberal compromise: “You must do everything my way.”

          • Kate8

45, You got it. And up until now, the republicans have bought into it.

Stupid is as stupid does. I’m hoping they’re smartening up.

          • Bob Wire

I don’t know 45, surly your memory is not that short? When the GOP has/had the majority they behave in similar fashion. So what should the DNC do after being subjected to the same treatment?

Do you wish I know back and offer links, chapter & verse to support my statement? I can if it be necessary. You’re a bright man, you know that.

a lock-out, or lock -in is standard strategy. With the adversarial climate offered by both sides it’s a given.

But ! I watched TV last night, first time in awhile, ~ I was very disappointed with MSNBC and the adversarial climate Chis Mathews and some of the others was laying down. ~ It was election night for Christ Sakes, you’d think the commentary and speaking with opposing party members about events more professional and conciliatory. I found this behavior of a network most disgusting. (is Fox any different?)

The TV is going back off. ~ Just a DvD player anymore.

          • Angel Wannabe

Yes Bob, Fox is different_-They present both sides, usually inviting a Democrat on the shows ( some refuse)_ but in reality the reporters opinions are right leaning, especially in the morning. I started watching them a little over two years ago and I can’t believe the difference in reporting, from the lame stream media.

    • Jeep

Good try Bob…but, your remarks just don’t wash. You DO have “sour grapes”. It is too bad that you think the govt provides your every desire. As far as giving to the homeless, do not feel too bad about it. You are just following the lead of your liberal friends who historically have always given less to charity than conservatives. So, you should feel right at home.

      • Angel Wannabe

Jeep, I CANNOT believe, that these people (entrepreneur’s)_ who have benefited MOST, by Capitalism (the most successful, the Millionaires)_How can they support a Socialistic Agenda?_ Government stifles & discourages, the creative minds with exorbitant taxes & regulation._They want control over everything!!!

        • Jeep

Angel, it truly boggles the mind!

        • 45caliber

          Angel:

The millionares in Washington have never been entrepreneurs – unless you consider accepting bribes to be that. They have almost entirely inherited their wealth. They simply want to make sure they remain the richest around and want to control the rest of us to make sure we don’t challenge them. Further, most have been raised on the fact that – as rich – they can do whatever they wish and no one should object. So they try to insure no one else can.

          • Kate8

45, Old wealth and trial lawyers. Got rich suing people.

That’s why our medical costs spiraled out of control, and the cost of everything else, as well. It also put the clamps on many of our freedoms.

I never hear the left criticize the crooked lawyers. Sharks just don’t eat their own.

          • Bob Wire

I think Angle was referring to me 45. She has rightfully so, associated me with a business man. A small one. A marginally successful one. But after 40 years and paying my dues, a humbled one.

          • 45caliber

            Kate:

The US has 3% of the world’s population.

We have 55% of the world’s population of lawyers.

That explains a lot of our problems right there.

          • Angel Wannabe

Thats goes without saying 45 about the Washington wealthy elite,(I’m not sure we can do antyhing to stop them)_with the exception of letting God take care of them.___ I’m speaking more about the Hollywood types, some singer song/writers, excluding country singers. (They’re the most down to earth)_and some of these self made millionaires__The very thing that’s allowed them to build they’re wealth,(capitalism) is the very thing they hate. It makes no sense and they can’t be that stupid.

          • Kate8

Angel, They are spoiled brats who never had to do any real, honest work in their lives. And they resent those who have.

          • http://donthaveone Beberoni

45, you hit the nail on the head. Lawyers. There is the problem at the top. Lawyers.

      • Bob Wire

You don’t have a clue about what I think Jeep. You come across as a child.
You are so full of “you” there little room for anything else.

You see Sour Grapes everywhere you look, in some frenzied fever to tear, slash and stomp.

You have only two boxes to place everything you “think” you understand in.

I’m very pleased with last nights results. I see it as “process” and it’s never to be a straight line. The GOP didn’t have a team. Now they have, let the games continue. They’ve wasted two years, 43 admin. wasted 8 and we are very far behind with the rest of developed world nations.

We are getting our collective asses kicked on the business front while you and many others take pleasure in the Rooster Strut game.

Have you not yet realized, your feeble, trite attacks are but a mirror I can see into? I was once a child myself and I endure you. I’ve not focus on you and been most kind to you, for you are not cognoscenti or germane to the issues often enough to both addressing.

    • vicki

      Bob wire writes:
“But they didn’t say which American people, if the past servers as any example, I’m not one of them, only the one left to pays their freight.”

Interesting. Bob is sounding more and more conservative every day :)

It serious business and those behind the ‘green curtain’ pulling the levers and knobs are most deadly serious in remain steadfast in wiping out the wealth of this once great nation.

      • 45caliber

When the country was founded, the people then refused to allow a federal bank on the grounds that anyone who could control the money could control the country – and the people in it. FDR was from a rich family and wanted that control. So he basically created the Fed. Reserve and gave ownership and control to four banking families – one of which was his. Later the Rothchilds (one of the four) bought out the others. And they have no interest in allowing us to go back to our own money.

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

      So who is A-gee dur-uhh?

  • Vu

As an outsider observer there are certain clannish people(not all by themselves, of course) who politically economically perpetrated and committed great calamities on America. There are a good many evil personalities here to bypass as coincidence: Milton Friedman, Alan Greenspan, Ben Bernake, Hank Paulson, Robert Rubin, Larry Summers, Tim Geithner, Wall Street Scoundrels, Neocons, Madoff(already punished), et al I think these people brought about great misery to the US and its people, and they should be held accountable. Otherwise, they’ll keep doing this, and been doing this for years now with impunity! And Ben Bernake and Tim Geithner are racing ahead and taking America to financial and economic perdition with coming QE II, QE III? The people need to stop them; don’t let them make things much worse than they already are.

    • duggy dugg

good thots ; more to focus tho : timmy treasury sells u s bonds ; benney banke buys u s bonds ; suzy and sammy sitizen become that much poorer ; uncle schmuel collects their income taxes and throws the tax money at the debt the bonds create ; the interest to be specific ! the debt itself , keeps rocketing upward ! ! is it $14 trillion yet ?

      • 45caliber

Whenever a state or local political group wants to “borrow” money, they must have a bond issue – which requires a vote by the people to approve it since the people have to pay for it.

The feds simply send some treasury notes over to the Fed. Reserve and the rest of us have to pay for it – without an okay at all.

Wasn’t that the main reason that the Revolution was fought in the first place?

  • Al Sieber

Well it looks like hyperinflation is headed this way, whether it hits us hard and fast or comes in slow remains to be seen, but the damage will be the same, retirement funds, pension, bank accounts etc. will be wiped out. the price of everything could go up astronomically, $30 for a gallon of gas, $50 for a loaf of bread etc. prices doubling and tripling weekly or daily. yes, we need to end the Fed.

I just cannot understand the people that sent Harry Reid back to Washington. This country is truely divided as I find the guy a total liar and spin artist. For all those on the left who do not like corporations Harry Reid was heavily supported and funded by them and had more money than he could spend on his campaign. I do not know how anyone could say otherwise unless they do not watch the news.

          • Bob Wire

Yes ! Harry Reid’s campaign was expensive, It was very important for opposing forces that he go. ~ It was these forces that made it expensive.

So why didn’t you spend more?

In Angle own words, lets call it “Gods Will” and leave it at that, what you say?

Let’s face it, who to argue with God? I have no mind too.

Angle should have got maybe 16 % of the vote, the balance consider your investment in a lost cause.

          • 45caliber

            Mick:

One thing that puzzles me. How in the world did Reid get all his supporters to wait until the last minute to vote for him? After all, it was that late voting that put him past. (I’m sure it had nothing to do with the fact that some of the computers would give four of his opponent’s votes to him out of every five when they caught it earlier.)

          • Angel Wannabe

45, I think JoeH’s, retort on that subject on yesterdays thread would be a good answer to your question of “One thing that puzzles me. In addition to the thugs working it for Harry, and the deceased, ineligible and relocated voting (I’m sure), hispanics came out in droves, and they expect their payoff–can you say Dream Act during the lame session? And what about that power outage for 2 hrs on election day? Not to mention SEIU in charge of the voting machines. The Nevada people need to demand the new governor back them in starting to bring back some election integrity.

          • PatriotSara

Harry will also be busy during lame session on the Union payback scheme to scam our 401ks to line the Union’s coffers since their piper is coming around Dec 15(?), at which time the Union pensions’ massive underfunding hits, unless, of course, we folks take it up the a*s again. But, hey, it’s for the Unions, that worthy cause.

          • eddie47d

Angel; The unions are hundreds and thousand of workers who donate money through their political action committees. Mr Koch is one man telling many how to vote. He wants his voice to equal thousands and he thinks his money can buy that power. No individual should have that much power and control. We say we don’t want a monarchy yet by giving a non-elected citizen that much sway over us you are allowing just that.

Claire – yes on the beer bread and I’ll toot my car horn when I drive near you tomorrow as I head back up to Wisconsin. Sorry we can’t meet up – someday.

          • Angel Wannabe

Clair, no I haven’t made beer bread. I’ve dabbled in Sour Dough, Italian, but make mainly Amish White Bread and Onion Bread, which is the same recipe as the Amish White, but ya dump two packs of Lipton onion soup mix in after the yeast proofs.

          • Claire

librtytrain–I will let you know on dog shows, and where I will be going. Bob has had another round of kidney trouble this week. They are going to put in another stint tomorrow. That will buy him some time. He is not looking forward to being on dialysis. He refuses to be on a “diet” for acute renal failure. He is really stubborn about it. At least he has quit eating chocolate and drinking orange juice. But he won’t quit eating chili, pizza, and fried foods. I have refused to fry foods, and he just goes to a restaurant. There is nothing I can do. He has to want to do it himself. In almost 51 years of marriage we have argued more about FOOD than anything else this past year.
Bless his heart. I think I understand how he feels.

          • Claire

Angel–I have already eaten supper but you sure have made me hungry all over again. I make beer bread several times a month but that is all. I love food. All kinds of food.

          • Kate8

Claire, I’m so sorry about your hubby.

I went through the same with mine, who passed 5 years ago. He wouldn’t change his diet, either. Ate all the wrong things. Wouldn’t listen to what anyone said.

            God bless you and yours.

          • Claire

Kate8– Thank you for your kind thoughts. I wish noen of this had happened to Bob, but life can be a bear sometimes. I kid you not–Bob is so stubborn. He has always eaten whatever he wants. I wonder if it is because he was raised in a restaurant–his parents had a restaurant for 45 years. He ate cheeseburgers, chili, pizza, french fries, and fried chicken. That was his diet during his growing-up years. I was raised on a farm, I ate every kind of vegetable there was. I learned to eat them. But, my Mother made sugared donuts, made bread, every weekend, and she bought the 5 pound containers of LARD! So, in essence, both of us had plenty of grease! I do watch what I eat, I have for a number of years and now I cannot eat anything that is fried!

          • Claire

“none” not noen!!! Time for me to go to bed. Big day tomorrow.

I am so sorry about your husband. It seems you can’t always teach an old dog new tricks, using this as a metaphore.
Take care sweetie and hang on. I will be praying with you and for you. Hugs

          • Christin

            Angel, Claire, Kate8,
Sorry to hear about all your spouses. Got me a stubborn one, too, who has high blood pressure and other things, but was able to make some headway as I am rearing (raising is for plants I think!) young ones who I DID NOT want eating like him and seeing him drink soda (sugar, ugh). He has improved a lot… on most days he trys to eat a salad/vegetable and meat… low glyseimic diet. My boys don’t like vegetables much, but they sure love our small tender acorn and butternut squash I am growing on the farm. Cold weather is finally setting in and the vegetables and fruit growing won’t make it much longer. I have made Amish bread before, but not beer bread. My sister-in-law taught me how to make loaf bread w/yeast by hand earlier this year… we use half wheat & half bread flour… it smells great. (I don’t make it all the time as it is just starch/ sugars and not so good for my oldest son and his daddy.) My oldest son enjoys baking with me and everyone loves to eat it!
            Best to you all.

          • libertytrain

Oh Claire, sorry you are going through this – it’s tough and difficult in so many ways. I’m so glad you are a strong person, that makes things a little easier – not much, but a little. Am in Le Roy – exit 149 – very near you I think.

          • Claire

libertytrain, Angel, Jana, Christin and Kate8–Bob is doing okay-he is home now. The sad part of it is that the stent will only be good for 3 months, then they have to take it out. I do not know what will happen then. Bless all of you–my friends!

Washington is held hostage with business interests backed by the banks. Banks run the country along with a number of puppets that cannot run a lemonade stand. Most are crooks in three piece suits taxing the middle class into socialism. That’s the plan. Jefferson’s tombstone: “I killed the banks,” should be the new call to action.

      ricky ricardo ; good points ; jackson killed the sbus , the second fed ; in 1836 by vetoing its recharter ; admitted roth schield agent richard lawrence attemted to kill andrew but his pistols misfired ; the current fed was not hatched until 1913 ; same year the irs was spawned to pay for the fedd and its larceny ;

“I believe that banking institutions are
      more dangerous than standing armies….
If the American people ever allow
private banks to control the issue

  • LiarsMustBeDefeated

All of you are basically using the correct words and saying the correct things, but how many of the population UNDERSTAND what it means? Listen! If the Fed buys a bond with “phony money” what they are really doing is OVERPAYING. The “inflation”, if you wish, is going to the bond holders, by that I infer “the banks”. The Fed prevents the bond holders from suffering the losses that they should really be incurring because of inflation IN THE PAST. It is another form of bailing out the banks and the rich. It comes at the expense of those that don’t have much, and at the expense of the middle class and honest people trying to do the right thing. Therefore, it steals from the PAST and the FUTURE. Does anyone really understand what I am saying here? This crowd is going to ruin the dollar AND society. They are protecting their own interests and we (the people) are paying the tab. Spend your fiat (worthless) currency on real value, i.e. land, gold, long-shelf-life food, etc. The currency is going DOWN unless what? Is there any sane person that believes otherwise? Look, it takes understanding and most people are being fooled. It is those who lack understanding that continue to believe in the currency as a stable commodity, etc. Thanks for listening.

    • duggy dugg

      dear LMBD
you are right but a little hazy ; the formula is this :
we [the govt] sell bonds ; banks and the fedd buy these bonds ; we go into debt as a result ; no need ; we should print money instead of u s bonds ! ! bonds = debt ; dollars do not = debt
the fed has us hypnotized to let the fedd print frn’s instead of treasury printing u s notes ! this is direct robbery of your wages and investments ! ! ! ! ! income taxes are extorted from you to pay the national debt that should not exist ! !! !

      • Thomas R

I say, I owe the IRS Taxes. Let the fed print money to pay the taxes. It’s theirs anyway. Therefore no more taxes.

        • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Thats another agency that needs to go, the IRS. We pay billions to this agency, and it has grown to an astounding size, as the thousands of them keep adding assistants and branches and sucking more and more tax dollars out of us to support them. Its like high dollar unemployment that never runs out. They just keep laughing all the way to the bank, and adding more and more people and doing less and less.

  • Wanda Murline

You know I am not an economist either, but I can tell you one thing…I have been a business owner successfully without federal stimulous for over 25 years (retired now), and until the feds raise the interest rate, America will sit and grow mold. Why in the world would anyone with any money (my savings I got from selling my business right before it fell off into the abyss) invest into anything in this country? When you cannot make anything from interest or anything else, I have been buying gold and silver…I know they will always be worth something. It is time to get the interest rate out of the zero status…then America will feel like we are going up instead of down and will start investing again. Besides, the Federal Reserve does not have the constitutional authority to print any money…that was reserved for the federal government only and the Fed is not a part of the government, it is owned outside the box. Also, the Fed should be dismantled because it is a monopoly since it has not competition…and if I am not mistaken, that is against the law in America…look back at Maw Bell and Microsoft. It is time to take down this institution, first with a good old fashioned audit and continue thereforth.

Has the Fed Chairman, Ben Bernanke, ever written a personal check in the amount of C$700,000.00? The undersigned has and I believe that I am one of the few Americans still alive that have written checks of that magnitude. I wrote to my grand children, prior to the election, warning them that the Fed had announced publically that they intend to steal 2% of every dollar that they earn and every dollar that they have saved. I reminded them that, in addition to their credit card debts, they each owe $42,000.00 of the national debt. I warned them that if Mr. Bernanke gets his way their children to come will think of $42,000.00 as their weekly allowance.
My opposition to inflation is based on my horrifying experiences in China in 1948 which I cover in my book, DARKEST TRUTHS OF BLACK GOLD. May I take the liberty of quoting from it?

Peter F. Drucker: “…..inflation is the systematic destruction of wealth by government.”
James F. Byrnes on November 16, 1942: “If anything like inflation happened, our people would not be ready to take the part which we are pledged to take to organize the world for peace. There could be no greater tragedy.”
Pierre Beregovoy, the Finance Minister of France during the 1980′s: “Inflation, a tax which hits the poor.”
John A. Pugsley, economist and investment advisor: “Without question, inflation is the most deadly of economic evils. It knows no geographical boundaries. It respects neither sex, nor race, nor creed, nor state of health or wealth. It has a more destructive effect on the lives of individuals than all other forms of plunder put together.”
And finally the author’s views in DARKET TUTHS OF BLACK GOLD: “It is frightening. Nay! More! It is terrifying to see your life savings wiped out by that insidious method by which corrupt and spendthrift governments pay their bills – INFLATION.”

The above referenced check in the amount of C$700,000.00 was in payment for a temporary membership in the Shanghai Club in Shanghai. May I again take the liberty of quoting from my experiences in China?

Sorry Duggy boy, but you’re either not too bright or just totally brainwashed…I’ll assume you’re brainwashed. Inflation is part and parcel of capitalism, as connected to it as supply and demand. NO gov’t wants inflation to rob from the people. There are some gov’t policies that can cause inflation, but it is usually out of necessity or stupidity, not intentional theft. Capitalism cannot exist w/o some degree of inflation, it’s built into the mechanics of the system, and stems from the simple ‘free’ market rule that every seller tries to get the highest price possible possible for his product…when he can do that, prices go up all around…inflation.

        • Pete NY “R I P FEDERAL RESERVE BANK”

In the 19th Century the US economy was inflation-free. It was only after 1913 that inflation took off – thanks to FRB fiat money creation policy. Therefore, inlation is not part and parcel of capitalism.

you are totaly correct the fed is nothing but a front corp.for the bilderbergs and rothchild banking group world wide holding the largest bankster monopoly in the world, and as you said 1913 was the date that president wilson sold out the american run banking system to the blood suckers from hell, then look what happen the 1929 market crash, and the end result is that these bankers from hell started to steal the very land and wealth of this republic, but heres the kicker the boys and girls in washington have been the federal banking corps hand and foot servants all the way along,in the 1970s all the hostile take overs of american owned companies by foriegn owned mulit-corperations,in reality rothchild and bilderburg owned front companies, then in the 1970s the greatess theif of american agriculture by the government for the corrupted federal reserve, when the agriculture dept gave farmers big big money to buy more farm eqiupment to produce more record crops, and wheat was at an all time high,so these farmers were told even if they went into debt, they would recover their investments in 2yrs tops, and the agriculture dept. set the hook and when all these honest farmers invested all they owned(THEIR LAND)then the government stepped in and told all these folks, well their is a ban on selling your wheat or products to russia or any communist nation,at that time the biggest importers of american farm products, well guess what the agriculture dept.made those farmers sell all they owned, and guess who got the very land their forefathers owned for generations, massive multi-national corperations owned by bilderburg and the rothchild banking corperation, the point i am trying to make is get rid of the federal reserve and we might have a chance to bring this nation out of debt,we can work hard for 25yrs and never get out of the debt they print, with government approval(THE TRAITORS IN THIS REPUBLIC)because the very blood suckers from europe, that controlled all of europe for centuries, has caused this series of economic storms and always they steal in every contrived action ENRON,STOCK MARKET COLLASPE,the bankster bail out,the whole sale give away of american owned bussiness to rothschild owned multi-national corperations set up worldwide.as i said the record is there to see all we have to do is open our eyes,so this evil bunch and their evil agents must be put out of this nations bussiness, before any progress can be made, otherwise all the government reduction well benefit only those who have caused this planned collaspe,as they did in germany in the 1920s,the weimar republic, quite a case history,it tell the same story that has been happening here since 1913,it tells the real truth of who always benefits from all this chaos here and worldwide.Pete ny you hit the bullseye on what you posted, great job.

          • eddie47d

When capitalism produces inflationary practice and wealth only falls into the hands of a few then there is a problem .When capitalism collapses an economy yet those same free market capitalists became even wealthier then there is a problem. Socialism itself did not bring about the problems this time only extreme capitalistic greed. Too much socialism can bring some of the same symptoms so we must be alert with both. Too much of anything is not a good thing.

So eddie what do you think happens when the economy tumbles people quit buying and manufactured goods pile up? My friend you run into whats called de-flation or even stagnation both of which are no good. Both cause the loss of jobs that Americans need, looking at the economy right now we have seen de-flation and in some parts stagflation. When government bails out the banks that caused the financial problems backed by years of gross neglagence by the legislature. In your eye’s socialism is the answer, that’s where you my friend are wrong, socialism as we all know it takes from one to give to another until there is no more then it moves to the next sucker. Socialism has been proven not to work where as a capitalistic society works by giving back to society, if one part of the capitalistic system fails another buys it at below cost and builds the system back up until it’s profitable again.

The auto industry, should GWB bailed them out, in my opinion no they should of been allowed to fail since they took on more risk then they could handle. So today we have governement motors, and Chrysler, one 60% owned by you and I another 20% by the unions, but the only other auto maker holding their own is Ford who’s third quarter profits where used to pay down their own debt. Who’s the #1 auto maker again, isn’t it Ford using the capitalistic system to make money and provide a quality product to the world. By the way the Chevrolet Volt is a hybrid car, it has to use gas engine to recharge it’s onboard battery instead of plugging it into the power grid.

          • eddie47d

Denniso needs to look in a mirror sometime.

Inflation is one thing and one thing only.
It is the measure of the value of (fiat) paper money against the value of commodities.

Denniso is correct that Inflation is part of the supply demand equation.
Denniso is incorrect that inflation is part of capitalism.

          The Supply/Demand equation affects EVERYTHING.
The Supply/Demand equation is not attached to ANY economic philosophy
The Supply/Demand equation is as effective in communist and socialist economics as it is in capitalist economics.

If universal health care (health insurance) survives (I pray not) you will see clearly the impact of supply/demand on this socialist scheme as 30+ million new people show up at offices where there are expected to be 48% fewer doctors. Rationing will be thy name.

          • LiarsMustBeDefeated

            Vicki says it right.

    • 45caliber

But the country NEEDS inflation (at least according to the government). Why? Because as each person gets a raise in his salary, and each business gets to up the price of their goods, the government gets to collect more income tax.

      • vicki

And though the cost of items the government might want to buy goes up the cost of the (older) debt goes DOWN. Inflation is ALWAYS good for debtors.

        • 45caliber

Only if your pay goes up too. And even then the government takes more of it both in income tax because you are now in a higher bracket and in raised taxes since they need more dollars to cover the interest of what they are borrowing. So your real value of dollars goes down, which means that you have less after you buy the food you need to pay off the debt.

          • vicki

Inflation is always good for debtors.

you borrow money to buy food. The price of the food goes up but you ALREADY have the food. You still owe the money but now you pay back the debt and the person who loaned you the money goes out and buys food at the current higher price. Now you sit down to eat. They have less food.

Inflation is ALWAYS good for debtors.

It is interesting to note that folk here talk about the Federal Reserve as being a private corporation. However the info thru google claims that it is a federal government agency.

      http://www.federalreserveonline.org/

This does not change the fact that we should Audit the fed and probably abolish it but those claiming that it is private need to provide links to prove that the above link is fraudulent.

Note of course that the above link could well be propaganda but that is why we need cites to confirm that the Fed is really a private corp.

History is mostly out of our school system, as too dull and boring, hence we are repeating it, in spades.

    Some observations:

    1. Republicans and democrats are two sides of the same debased coin.
    2. Under GW Bush it is estimated that greater than 90% of the population was against the bailout of the banksters but it was passed by our “elected officials” under threat of martial law. As one observer pointed out this was a coup d’etat by the financial cartel and they have effectively taken over the USA.
    3. In the article above it should have been explained that in Fed doublespeak, ASSETS=DEBT. This means that the money “sloshing” around the economy has as much backing as counterfeit.
    4. Elections are theater, the politicians are actors selected by the PTB with just enough superficial differences to appear to be R or D or I. In the end they will allow the war machines to grind on, the Fed to pillage the American people, the police state to grow exponentially (i.e “security theater”), and the economy held hostage to relentless off shoring, over regulation and outright manipulation.

At this point the only solution appears to be act locally and get yourself, your neighbors and your town ready for the approaching storm(s).

I serious doubt that you was raising a family of 5 back in 1980 Jeep.

That was the year “this package” was first sold and delivered to the American people.

It sure sounded good ! Who would argue it a bad thing. But what followed was not pleasant. As we traded one bandit for three bandits. And the worst thing about it was they all lived very near, willing to come to your door.

You may scoff all you wish, but we’ve seen this movie and knows how it ends. It seems you haven’t. Well I hope you enjoy it.

        • Jeep

I got it Bob, you’ve had some bad experiences in life. Well, so have I, but they seem to mostly emanate from the Federal level. Within my local govt it is much easier to effect change. When the fed charges up, who can you turn to? At least, with the county and city there are board meetings to protest to.

          • 45caliber

At least with a local government, you can find the people in charge. $200 million PER DAY in Mumbai for the President to visit? Why on earth would he WANT to visit that place??

        • Angel Wannabe

Yeah 45, thats a tall question, we were talking about on another thread_-I don’t like it??

    • Karolyn

You sure can’t prove that by visiting Charlotte, NC! Every so often I go up there to see how the other side lives. I was there on Sunday and was just amazed at the evidence of money everywhere. It truly boggles my mind.

      • Kate8

Karolyn, My daughter’s fiance works in construction. He’s been building a 5th home in Tahoe for a wealthy client. All 5 homes are mansions.

They guy was lamenting the economy, and that he might lose one of his mansions. So he applied for Obama’s mortgage assistance and got it.

Nice to know there is help for hurting people.

Hydrocarbon energy???? Are you serious? They just closed the Carbon trading bank because it was a fraud. Am I to understand that you still believe the Carbon Hype? Or did you mean energy companies?

    • Denniso

So you don’t believe that CO2 and Methane are a problem in the atmosphere? You think it’s all a world wide conspiracy to enslave you or steal your money? Please enlighten me..

      • JeffH

…to that I ask…tell us how the CO2 and Methane will destroy the “earth’s climate” over the next 100-200 million years? Oh, excuse me, I meant the next 10-20 years?

      • Kate8

Denniso, If we don’t have an abundance of CO2, we have no trees and plants. Plants breathe in CO2 and breathe out oxygen.

This is one of the stupidest things they’ve come up with yet. That so many folks buy into it shows the level of gross ignorance these days.

        • 45caliber

It makes me wonder what they teach in science in schools any more. Environmentalism, I suppose.

          • Denniso

Plants breathe in CO2 and breathe out 02???really? I never knew!! Now that’s rocket science! Sure plants use CO2,but that doesn’t mean that there can’t be too much CO2 in the atmosphere, does it? If there is more CO2 released to the atmosphere than than all the plants can use and that the oceans can absorb, then we wind up w/ too much. Too much CO2 can lead to warming because it traps heat below it,where we are.

It’s about balance in the eco systems of the entire planet, and we can throw the balance out of wack. It’s not too difficult to understand, once you stop being politically biased about it.

          • Denniso

I meant to include…by the ‘plants breathe in CO2′ illogic above, humans drink water to live, therefore there can’t be too much water in the environment…no floods, hurricanes, torrential downpours can exist because we drink water.

          • http://donthaveone Beberoni

denniso you seem to be going in circles on this one, and Im thinking your probably one of those global warming Al Gore guys too, so in response to all your CO2 banter and stuff, Ill fill you in on this, that the oceans are the biggest contributor to these so called greenhouse gases, as their evaporation goes straight up. So I was thinking, maybe we could just tarp over the oceans and stop it now. Rediculous.

          • Denniso

Sorry Beb…the Ocean absorbs CO2. Leave climate science to the people trained in it and who work in the field. Do you know how to design an automobile? Can you pilot an airliner? Do you know thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, special relativity? How good are you in chemistry or physics, geology, hydrology? Do you challenge all the trained people in those fields, though you’re not educated in them? Why do you think you know anything about climate science and enough to challenge the experts?
Like most of the deniers of warming, you have no expertise that gives you any reason to be able to deny what the experts say.

      • 45caliber

CO2 is created by breathing and taken by plants so they can grown and emit O2 that we breathe. Want to cut your “carbon footprint” as they say? Plant a tree.

But the only way I know to cut methane production is to eliminate the beings that emit it. Primarily humans. Are you pushing for that too?

      • vicki

        Denniso read up on Climategate.

        CO2 suppression is Plant oppression.

        • 45caliber

          Exactly.

          • Denniso

You people can’t be this dumb, really. Because plants use CO2 it doesn’t follow that there isn’t a harmful imbalance in the atmosphere that creates warming and climate change.

Your analogy is like saying that since all animals need water to stay alive, that too much(floods, tsunamis, drowning)water can’t possibly be harmful to humans. The atmosphere, oceans and earth are in a general balance and our emissions of CO2 and Methane, which is worse as a greenhouse gas,are disrupting the balance by adding to the atmospheric levels every second of every day. Scientists are the most objective people in the world…not perfect, but sure as hell more objective and knowledgeable than the uneducated rabble sounding off here against our culpability in warming.

          • vicki

            Denniso says:
“(Silly ad hominium attack deleted) Because plants use CO2 it doesn’t follow that there isn’t a harmful imbalance in the atmosphere that creates warming and climate change.”

Plants use CO2 to PREVENT a harmful imbalance of CO2 in the atmosphere that might create warming and climate change. That is part of the beauty of this creation. (And really unbelievable that it could have been created by nothing)

Now since water vapor is the PRIMARY gas for trapping solar heat so that it dos not go into space leaving us little warmer than Mars why are we so focused on the “evils” of CO2?

            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenhouse_gas

          • Denniso

It’s the balance between the earth and it’s atmosphere that matters, and that balance that has allowed human civilization to develop has taken a billion or more yrs to come about. In fairly recent history we have cleared many forests and desertified large areas, all the while spewing trillions of tons of CO2 and methane into the atmosphere…we actually have the ability to upset the balance in the atmosphere enough to cause a runaway reaction. for instance, warming melts the Artic tundra, that releases more methane into the atmosphere, causing more warming, and so on… The ocean warms a few degrees, more evaporation puts more vapor in the atmosphere, more warming…The ocean warms, causing release of CO2 that is stored in it, and more warming causes more release of CO2.

The scientists who devote their lives to this know a little more about this than you and I…they don’t have a political position on it.

Doctors are scientists…when you go to a doctor and he tells you that you have the flu,do you believe him? Or do you say he’s got a bias because of his politics? Sure,if it’s a serious problem you may get a second opinion…well, that’s essentially what climate scientists do, by checking each others work and verifying experiments and studies. Are they perfect? No, but they are well trained doctors to the planet and deserve a little trust, just like your family doctor.

          • Vicki

Just a casual reminder to Denniso that he/she has no real idea as to my educational background. Now let us talk for a moment about more water vapor in the air. A most interesting thing happens. The water molecules tend to collect and form little droplets we call clouds (and dew and others). The clouds are the most important in that they start reflecting heat from the sun when they get dense enough. Guess what happens next :)

          • Vicki

            Oh and Denniso says:
“The scientists who devote their lives to this know a little more about this than you and I…they don’t have a political position on it.”

For which I offer as a counterargument. Climategate.

          • Denniso

You obviously don’t follow real news,do you? It’s been reported for the past 4 months that ‘climategate’ was just a minor breach in the accepted scientific protocol…no major problem w/ the science, only that the info should have been shared w/ skeptics and allies alike. It had no bearing upon the accumulated evidence or the conclusions that have been reached on warming. Don’t believe me? Look it up.

      • Lewis Munn

We have had much higher CO2 in the atmosphere, and the world was prosperous, Crops grew well.

HOWEVER, IF you look at History, you will find in the 1800′s we had two huge volcanic explosions, one near the beginning and one near the end. Lots of dust in the air, and the globe cooled off quickly until the dust washed down. Further, in the USA, the curves for global warming show when we had lots of smoke, the warming curve nearly flattened, and I recall the panic that happened in the ’50′s that the next ice age was comming!!

But never fear, Al Gore and the Greenies got laws passed to cut down the smoke from factories to almost none, and the rate of warming took off at double the previous rate.

But Gore and the greenies will look neither at the lessons Nature gave us, nor the industrial dust vs rate of warming curves.

Further, science knew this; if you recall the fear of a nuclear war causing a nuclear winter long enough to kill most vegetation and other life. From dust blown high into the atmosphere.

Clean air lets the IR in to warm the lower atmosphere and ground. You folks hollering CO2 need to stop and look at what Nature and Science tell us…not blast ahead without paying any attention.

You folks by not paying attention to History have been spending tons of money to make things worse!!

        Talk about stupid!!

        • vicki

Well said and thank you for reminding folk about the “nuclear winter” scare of the last century.

Quite simply, fire the FED. Imprison all its members for HIGH TREASON against the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA {not the United States of America Inc.} Eliminate the IRS. Start a 25% Import Tax on all goods coming into the country from outside the country. Eliminate all taxes and have a flat tax rate of 17%. America has been soldout and has been soldout for a long time…..We might change the faces in the white house but the plan goes on…..They plan on stealing the wealth of America while putting the American people on the hook for the outcome(financial ruin) and then making sure there tracks are covered and then controlling the people like we are drones……They will control the freedom we have and the food we eat and the water we drink and the very air we breathe until they have everything in there control…That control will be water drugged so we submit, food tampered with, air that is full of pollutions, and then the elite will have us all under there control.Do you really trust our elected officals??? Do you believe our elected officals have our best interest at heart???Do you really believe our elected officals are trying to do what is right for America and the American people???America, we have elected a president who has been to many American flag burning parties with his wife(our first lady) and does not even love our country and he is in charge of our fighting men and women(OUR MILITARY)who put there lives on the line everyday for our flag…Hello America,Can you see through the blinders?????

If this idled farm ground was to resume production with out any subsidies, the mega corporations like ADM, Con=Ag,Monsanto, Smithfeild Foods, Tysons, just to mention a few that collect billions of taxpayer money, and that are big donors to the NMCDP, is why Onumnutts lied again and left everything alone. I don’t know if this can be understood by liberals, since it isn’t taught or dicussed in books or our schools or colleges. As for methane production, the “healthy ” diet helps produce copious amounts of gas on the guts, when Big Mamee Mare passed out dried fruit on holloween, really fired up the gas guts. Ellen Hodgson Brown describes a solution to the money problems and to getting rid of the Fed. Her book is “Web of Debt”. Read Excerpts at:
    http://www.webofdebt.com/

Eustace Mullins wrote the first history of the Federal Reserve. His whole book “Secrets of the Federal Reserve” can be read on-line or downloaded from http://ineedfile.com/download/13116407-eustace-mullins-secrets-of-the-federal-reserve-bank-pdf

  • FURY

Don’t call me human because I think I’m a willing member of a devolved species that doesn’t understand the Federal Reserve. And today the FR is buying back its own Treasuries. The plot thickens. Can someone recommend a few “outlaws” on the web that explain what’s going on, and a few books written with sound expertise on the FR?

    • 45caliber

As far as I know, the treasury notes (I assume that is what you mean) are issued by the federal government. They are basically the same thing as the school bonds – except you get to vote on whether the school can issue bonds or not. The feds issue the notes and the FR buys them – with fake cash since they create it from thin air. The more cash that gets printed, the less the rest is worth (that is based upon real production of goods supposedly). So the government gets all those nice dollars with which to pay for all their wet dreams, we – the people – get to pay for them with dollars that are steadily losing their value, and we – the people – find our dollars are worth less and less as we try to buy the things we need (such as food) to survive.

  • coal miner

    Attention;

The Federal Reserve is the third central bank of the USA. It was legally established on December 23, 1913, when US president Woodrow Wilson signed the Federal Reserve System Act. The Federal Reserve was blamed to have deepened the Great Depression after the crash of 1929. In a panicky reaction it then deflated money supply, causing a lasting and deep economic contraction.

    • Angel Wannabe

CM, Sounds Just like what they’re doing today_doesn’t it?

      • ToastedFrog

No. The opposite. If I have time, I will explain how the Federal Reserve System works or attempts to work to all of you most of whom do not have a clue. For starters, do a Wikipedi search on the topic so you will have the basics. I also suggest you look at sweeps. Sweeps are the low margin, last hope for profit, highway robbers mode, and cause of high overdraft charges method banks use to squeeze a final dime out of us. The sweeps mentality is the banks’ metality in all operations. Sweeps were just the last implementation. You see, your money is not yours, it is the banks.

Now, I have things to do, as always. So, to get started. Do a little research on the fed and sweeps. If you can see why sweeps caused your overdraft charges to soar, you are on the way.

Next, understand that the Fed is the Treasury’s bank. The government;s bank. States do not create money. Only the federal government can do that. A balance sheet manuver is necessary to accomplish that feat of magic. It is all a confidence game.

Bye. More later. If you care to know the facts. I’ll be back.

More than a year ago I sat and talked with a couple of highly educated, knowledgeable financial experts scratching their heads about what this TRILLION DOLLAR spending would mean for us– one had just lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in stocks and 401K. I could only think of post WW11 Germany when people were pushing wheelbarrows of money to buy a single loaf of bread. As the Oslama plan saved Goldman Sachs, AIG, FANNIE, FREDDIE, it was clear we’d be paying for it. When Oslama’s “Health Reform” rolled out it was clear it wasn’t for us, but for 30 million able bodied mostly male entitlement parasites to legally qualify for Medicaid–a group that would ultimately guarantee Oslama a vote in 2012. And of course, we the Tax payers would be paying for that too, as well as all the other entitlement medical care none of us get for ourselves. When the BP travesty in the Gulf occurred and Oslama dragged his sorry ass in EFFECTIVELY responding to an EMERGENCY to STOP IT; and then SHUT DOWN DRILLING indefinitely, shattering permanently an entire economic region, many of us stopped scratching our heads and wondering what was going on. Now we know Oslama was never for us. And now today we are looking at the FR buying back its own treasury notes. No transparency. No announcement. So I’d like to know who they are, and who Oslama and his cohorts really are. Who are these crooks?

SC was the first to comment … and to be truthful (?) No one else ever needed to reply beyond that.

Others: “Oh yea, then why are you posting somethin’…?”

Cuz, ya’ll went ahead and did anyways….. DOH But, seriously…

SC mentions what he was taught in School about THE FED.. and this reminds me of my college MACRO-ECONOMICS course back in 1997.

We were taught this simple analogy, ….but, first I must preface it with some historical that some of the older, and more wiser, will probably recall…

    1. It used to be that if Ball & Sons Co. was doing well and making an adequate profit, they would stash most of it away in preparation for expanding the Family Business. [Note: this is before the onslaught of Corporations] Once they felt like they had enough and the LOCAL bank was willing – times being what they might be – they would go and get a small loan to cover the difference in building the next Factory for Ball & Sons to them sell their products in a different City, maybe a different State. It would always be that they would only borrow what they knew they could afford to pay off, with the business they were already currently doing.

    With me so far…..

    2. Then, along comes John Rockefeller, and (of course) The Federal Reserve. No shock here, Rockefeller was initially funded by Rothschild, so he would then become their puppet from abroad.

The Federal Reserve then went about offering huge loans to FAMILY BUSINESSES at extremely cheap interest rates making it nonsensical to not get the Loan so they could expand that much quicker….

In a certain logic, expecially with what we’ve been accustomed to all of OUR lives, this makes good sense – the idea being you most likely would pay back the Loan in short order….

HOWEVER – since the FED controls the money supply – macro-economics, people … then who already has last say on whether you will ever get that chance to pay off the loan in the first place, especially if it is a 20 or (gawd – 30) year Note? Isn’t it cyclica for the FED to cause recessions or lite-depressions in tehe economy every 20 years?

Since this new protocol has been in place, one Family Business after another has fell off the map to never be heard from ever again….

    NOW… are ya with me… extra close….

Well, a part of the FED teachings, thru the Oligarch Controlled Schools … expecially in Macro-Economics … follows the tenant of wha the Central Bank started doing to people after 1913…

Specifically – IF your Business is breaking even(?), you should replicate!

You are not to worry about the economy, you just replicate into ad-nauseum, period. And, guess what people do, not bothering to investigate further into the real house of economical woe. Hmmmmm?

So yes…. Bob Livingston, Chip Wood, and all the other Writers here at PL.com… are all giving you the straight poop here.

And, SC highlights it all in perfect tandem.

I ask you – why, on earth, would you replicate if you know it could cost you the goose that is laying the Golden Egg? Even Insurance couldn’t cover the damage that could potentially happen. And, what about your employees?

Just a thought, people… on how you should seriously look at money, period.

As for Congress – the DEMS still hold 2/3′s of what runs the Country.
Much like Daschle, Reid will filibuster all day long and nothing will get done until their Surprise happens, or they CON the mainstream ID-10-T’s into flip-floppin’ right back to the Donkey Party all over again.

    Remember this – the cycle is every 11 years …it’s how the Freemasons do things… 2012 – 2001 = 11.

What’s next? They bring out some real aliens?

Havent you heard? The U.S. has lost one of their Nuclear Bombs, just the other day. They somehow can’t find the damn thing. Have you read Sum of All Fears?

    Just sayin…..

      Hmm? interesting Anthony

Thanks for sharing you view on what’s afoot behind the curtain.

sounds believable and explains so things.

Myself, a simple man on such matters have learned to not play games with my earning. I find I lose when I play other peoples games.

Restrictive? sure, you bet! The system in place makes it almost impossible to not be an active player at some level.

I’m learned to be small and cast no shadow. But it gets harder and harder to do.

I’ve accepted we live in a world of illusions but I think fewer people have.

Shhhhh ~ don’t wake them up.

    Did anyone read this?
“We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the work is now much more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.” David Rockefeller, founder of the Trilateral Commission, in an address to a meeting of The Trilateral Commission, in June, 1991.

    More of the above article:

The idea was that those who direct the overall conspiracy could use the differences in those two so-called ideologies [marxism/fascism/socialism v. democracy/capitalism] to enable them [the Illuminati] to divide larger and larger portions of the human race into opposing camps so that they could be armed and then brainwashed into fighting and destroying each other.” Myron Fagan
“No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take a LUCIFERIAN Initiation.” David Spangler, Director of Planetary Initiative, United Nations

“The drive of the Rockefellers and their allies is to create a one-world government combining supercapitalism and Communism under the same tent, all under their control…. Do I mean conspiracy? Yes I do. I am convinced there is such a plot, international in scope, generations old in planning, and incredibly evil in intent.” Congressman Larry P. McDonald, 1976, killed in the Korean Airlines 747 that was shot down by the Soviets. Part of the above articles.

      • Denniso

Marie…you’re off the edge w/ your paranoia. One world gov’t??? Our gov’t can’t work together and our people are divided right down the middle on politics, how the heck would a one world gov’t stay united enough to rule the whole freaking world? Not just impossible, but absurdly insane. I don’t know what stuff you’re reading that gets you to that conclusion, but you should stop and change what you read.

        • Angel Wannabe

Forget tryin to change the language denniso, there more and more people everyday who’ve done the research and know whats going on!

          • Denniso

Change the language?? Your comment doesn’t make much sense, but I’m guessing that you believe we’re being enslaved by a coming one world gov’t too? If so,then you’re out to lunch as well.

What you conspiracy kooks miss is that the average person is pretty much enslaved from the day he starts working for a living. Wages that don’t get him very far ahead, and an authoritarian workplace that controls most of his life until he drops dead,w/ very little to say ever about his life. It’s the dictatorial monetary/financial system that has most of us enslaved, and you rightwing zealots can’t even see it. You instead do your master’s bidding by resisting all efforts to restrain big biz and make work both palatable and rewarding for we the people. You are corporate dunces pointing the finger in the completely wrong direction.

    Marie:

You noted the “Rockefellers” as part of a conspiracy for a one world government. I heard the same thing back in 1969 while in Hawaii as told to me by a political science student. He also mentioned the names of then Secretary of State, Robert S. McNamara, the Kennedy’s and a few others in the federal government. It is interesting to note he became president of the world bank after his time as Secretary of Defense, Europe forming the economic union and under one currency now. Are we next? At the time, I considered it total nonsense and still not certain about this but it does make me wonder if this is what in happening.

Claire: I hope you are somewhat satisfied with the election results in Illinois. “It Started and Ended” is on Amazon.com now. It is temporarily out of stock but will available in a few days.

    • Claire

Bud G — I looked up your title on Amazon- I will keep a lookout for it. I will let you know what I think! I thought I would go to Barnes & Noble here in town and see if I can order it through them. I have done that before.
