The Assassination Of Old King Coal

July 12, 2011 by

The Assassination Of Old King Coal

Well, I certainly hope everyone is enjoying President Obama’s “Recovery Summer II – The Empire Strikes Out.” Unemployment hovers just below 10 percent. Of course, that’s the number the Department of Labor is willing to admit. Any economist outside the Department of Labor will acknowledge the real rate is closer to 15 percent.

Inextricably linked with the falling number of Americans who are gainfully employed is the rising number on the sign at your neighborhood Gas’n’Go. The average price of a gallon of gasoline is headed back toward $4-ville. Obama’s much-ballyhooed release of strategic reserves — predicted to fail by everyone outside the White House — failed. Oddly, the Democrats — who pointed to fuel costs nearly $1 per gallon lower as proof that President George W. Bush was blowing kisses to the dishdasha delegation — have fallen silent as Obama’s lack of a coherent energy policy has not only helped force the nation’s economy off the road, but has put it up on blocks and stolen the stereo.

Last week, Obama’s Environmental Protection Agency proudly announced its plan to deliver the coup de grâce to the coal industry. You see, coal is bad. You have to dig holes in the ground to get to it, and the United States has so much of it that we’re essentially the OPEC of coal. And that’s where the problem lies. Hard work and independence from foreign-energy sources are as anathematic to Obama and the Democrats as… well… hard work and independence from foreign-energy sources.

The EPA has announced the replacement of 2005’s Clean Air Interstate Rule with an all-new Cross-State Air Pollution Rule. EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson said: “By maximizing flexibility and leveraging existing technology, the Cross-State Air Pollution Rule will help ensure that American families aren’t suffering the consequences of pollution generated far from home, while allowing states to decide how best to decrease dangerous air pollution in the most cost effective way.”

Translation: “We’re going to turn off the lights; ask your States for candles.” It gets worse. The “flexibility” to which Obama (via Jackson) refers doesn’t exist, thanks to the Democrats’ fealty to foreign-oil interests. The “existing technology” is hampered by the same problem, at least until someone gets the keys to the Enterprise back from Captain Kirk. Before some of our liberal friends get their panties in a wad about the benefits of electric car technology, I have two words: Chevy Volt. But hey, enjoy that green living — at least until you have to recharge your $40,000 golf cart. And there’s always the “SmartCar” – as long as you don’t have to haul… anything.

Keep in mind that you won’t be hauling much; nor will anyone else, for that matter. At least the children will frolic amid green fields under blue skies, because we’ve maximized flexibility and leveraged existing technology. Granted, the children can do that now, except for in Detroit. But with this new layer of bureaucracy beamed down from the Obama mothership, they’ll be able to do it more often, since mom and dad won’t be able to afford to pay the PlayStation®Network bill. Actually, with Obama and the EPA standing on the economy’s neck and now grinding their heels down, mom and dad may be able to supervise the kiddies 24/7, since their jobs will ultimately be jeopardized by rising energy costs.

While Jackson claims that the EPA’s guillotining of the coal industry will create jobs (a dubious claim, at best), the highly regarded, non-partisan firm National Economic Research Associates has concluded that the EPA’s anti-coal rules will cost four jobs for every one it creates. Before our liberal friends get their panties in a wad about “global warming,” I have two more words: Al Gore. Also — ManBearPig! That’s an extra word. I’ll buy some rhetorical carbon credits.

What Obama and his Democrat cronies fail to acknowledge — either by socialist delusion or sinister design — is that the current tragic trifecta of rising unemployment, social unrest and general malaise has roots in energy policy (or lack thereof). In keeping with their strict policy of bowing and scraping before OPEC, the Democrats have stepped in front of every effort to maximize exploitation of domestically available resources. Now, Obama and his cronies are squeezing the trigger on the coal industry.

But that’s the future of the entire nation in the crosshairs.

No one should be surprised by this. Obama promised all of these actions BEFORE he was even elected. I can’t believe that the coal miners in WV, PA and eastern VA voted for this joke, but most of them did, because their UNIONS instructed them to, according to the many coal miners that I talked to about this. They sure do regret it now, but it’s too late. Makes you wonder, huh?

    • NADS

JOYCE; You hit the nail on the head! But forgot OH & KY. I remember thinking “this guy is going to SHUT-DOWN the coal industry and their unions are telling them to vote for him.” What a sad state of affairs it is, not only for the coal industry, but for our whole country; even the misguiding dupes who voted for BHO.

      • http://Moreexpensive,moreunknowproblems. Lewis Munn

It can sorta be made up, maybe, in the next election, but what has been lost is mostly lost for good.

Where I live, the government has forced a whole new railroad system to be built to send our nice “clean” coal away to the East, and another to bring in the most filthy dirty sulphurous coal this side of Hell for our own plants, and then the government says we must have the pollution and put in billions of dollars of our own money in antipollution devices and let the excess pollution from the filthy coal pollute away in our pristine air.

This seems unfair to me, particularly in that it will increase the cost of my electricity by 500%, but not decrease anyone else’s. Just a way to make everybody equally poor and miserable, at the behest of the Obama Democratic Government.

Democratic government at its epitome. Are the railroad unions really this powerful? Think of all the extra air pollution of all these heavily-loaded trains playing Musical Chairs with coal!

Would it not have been cheaper and cleaner to build small French-style nuclear plants out at the points of heavy industry and not have to penalize us! And spoil our air.

Is there any hope left for sanity in government? From either major party? Is it time to look to the third parties for some common sense in government? Or maybe 4th parties even?

        • Lost in Paradise

The problem is that we have way too much government, and we would do much better if we managed our own affairs. It has all but killed our Republic, and now it appears that it may just do that.

            Sex education for political morons!

            I have been harping on about this issue and the only way I can explain the difference between Education, Training and Competency is using the following example;

If you have teenage kids, you will probably not be too upset if the school they are going to provides Sex Education.

However, if the school was to tell you that it was going to provide Sex Training – you would be very upset.

If the school told you that their aim was to make your children competent at Sex, you would be mortified.

We have all had sex education at school – did this make us trained within the subject matter – could we practically and physically show a level of competence within the subject matter when it came time to practically apply the Education we had received. I think not. We then went through a form of training, where we had to learn the practical application of the Education we had been given (and learn by example the gaps in that education as we experienced first hand how it all worked). After some time (we could all debate how long), we probably believe we are competent at the subject matter (but most likely have not experienced all of the potential permutations and combinations possible within the subject matter).

If we want to change the lack of value we get from our Education programs, we need to go back to valuing and rewarding competency – not pieces of paper that are worthless. A piece of paper does not prove competency – only education.

You want to make a difference, get rid of the massive unproductive overhead and get back to valuing people who were competent and make the people responsible for the outcomes rather than hindering everything they try to do and “telling” people what to do.

          • Kate 8

Paul – Come on now. You’re making too much sense. That’s frowned upon these days.

    • wandamurline

They can make up for this “mistake” in 2012.

    • Vagabond

Joyce. anyone STUPID enough to vote for any one because they were told to do it deserves any and every thing they get. if a person told me to vote for any one even if I were going to I’d tell them in a heartbeat to go to hell. my vote is my business and no one else’s,

      • DaveH

        Vote for Ron Paul! :)

      • JUKEBOX

The unions have lined their members up in large circles, given them AK47s, and instructed them to “FIRE AT WILL”. This type of myrmidon voting by union members is a sure form of financial suicide, but they are too ignorant to know any better.

        • JimRed

More likely Obama will create government jobs for the no-longer-miners, probably in his “national security force”.

        • http://Moreexpensive,moreunknowproblems. Lewis Munn

Poor Will. He’ll be Swiss cheese!

      • Kate 8

Vagabond – I have a friend who works for our state-wide utility monopoly, and he always votes the way the union tells him. He doesn’t even look at the issues or the candidate, other than the D by their names.

I sent him all kinds of stuff on Agenda 21, and he got all kinds of info on O, too, but he just wouldn’t go against the union. Of course, he’s beginning to see it, but it’s a bit late. Anyway, his job is at stake.

How the unions are allowed to exert so much pressure on their members to vote according to policy is unAmerican. But then, what else is new. Everything touched by the Left is corrupt. But then, everything touched by the Right is corrupt.

Oh, wait…we’ve all been herded into the same boiling kettle (I guess that makes us a fine kettle of fish!). Or frogs.

        • http://Moreexpensive,moreunknowproblems. Lewis Munn

Yup The propaganda was that voting for a minority party was evil, forgetting that our present major parties started small themselves.

IF the major parties stopped suppressing the smaller parties, and propagandizing against them, and actually stealing their votes wholesale, we might get some good people into office.

But the two behemoths will crush any small but honest political movement quick as they can.

          The DemoPublicans cannot stand competition!

        • JeffH

Kate8, evry one of my union member freinds voted for Obama and will vote for him again…they also voted for Brown and Boxer because their unions supported, endorsed and told them those votes would keep their unions strong in California…what a bunch of crap!

I refuse to even get started discussing politics when we visit..they know where I stand.

          • Christin

            JeffH,

I think that is why many Teachers I knew voted Democrat, because they were told and scared by our union AFT [American Federation of Teachers] that if the Right or Republicans got into leadership they would give the citizenry ‘school vouchers’ (which simply allows their School Taxes to go to the school of their choice) and allow parents to ‘choose’ any school: charter, private, parochial, montesory, public… to send their children to learn… and hardly none would send them to public school (except for the demos and poor )and we would lose our jobs.

You all know this would be the end of Public School as we know it and an insurgence of other school choices would surface and some would listen to the people to teach true history and government with and do it right!

          • Kate 8

Christin – Especially here in CA, where the communist/gay agenda holds sway in our schools. It is now mandated that they MUST teach gay history, and extol the joy of sexual diversity and same-sex parents.

JeffH – It blows me away how anyone can think Boxer and Feinstein are great, or how our education system is, either. It’s such a mess. What does that say about the people working in it?

It seems to me that union people seek only to protect their paychecks, which vastly exceed the quality of the workers. They have no interest in knowing anything else that’s going on. They aren’t about to bite the hand that feeds them. What they don’t realize is that the hand that feeds them will end up biting them.

          • JeffH

Kate8, go figure ’cause I can’t figure it out. I’ll say that my friends are very good people and very good parents but where politics are involved, they haven’t got a clue. I only put my 2cents worth in where appropriate. Pure sheeple in that department.

          • Kate 8

JeffH – Go figure is right. As you say, my union friend is the best friend one could have. He’s been there when others haven’t. When my hubby passed, he took up a collection and handed me an envelope with enough money to pay for the funeral and more. He said it was the custom in his family. And every Christmans since he’s showed up with a carload of gifts for my family, especially my grandson.

I think there are just many people who don’t really understand politics, and don’t think it really affects them. They don’t realize what lies ahead because of our apathy.

In fact, as you said, all of my liberal friends are good people. Like so many, they’ve gotten caught up in what appears to be concern for the betterment of humanity and/or the Earth, but haven’t looked deep enough to discern the deception.

          • JeffH

Kate8, all we can do is continue on as a messenger and hope we’re able to get through to some of them.

          • eddie47d

Maybe your liberal friends are right. Maybe too you could take up arms and wipe the liberals off the face of the earth as Dave H. has stated he is willing to do. Maybe like the other comments about putting them all on a boat and sinking them in the middle of the ocean. I doubt if some of these comments are right wing humor and a few may be deadly serious. You say liberals don’t have a clue but we are very aware of the skunks in the other camp.

    • Al Sieber

Within the last month they shut down all uranium mining in the state of Arizona, 4000 jobs are lost. I know these miners didn’t vote for Obama. over in Laughlin Nev. they’re selling the land where the Edison power plant was, to China to build a solar generating plant. this is Harry Reid’s pet project another sellout. more jobs lost for Americans.

      • DaveH

        Boycott Las Vegas!

        • Al Sieber

I do Dave, I won’t cross the Colorado River to go to Laughlin, or Vegas, or Hoover Dam either.

          • Kate 8

Al – Since the World Plan is World Government, selling our land to China, the Saudis and everyone else is just another step. Soon there will be no nations. In fact, it appears that sovereignty is already lost.

The PTB consider that ALL land belongs to them. It won’t be long before WE are herded off of it and into compact settlements built by FEMA.

Even scripture tell us that his will be so, many times.

          • 45caliber

            Kate8:

I’ve heard that the world plan is to place land against the debts that all countries seem to have. If your country owes another country, it gives up ownership of land to them. Then, over time, every country will own parts of other countries to the point that each country will be part of every other country. So no country can exist.

          • Christin

            Kate8,

I believe FEMA camps will come after the Rapture when Jesus takes from this land His own… so if one has repented and believes or trusts in Jesus as the Son of God, then you need not worry and only to have hope in an eternity in the presence of God.

It will be a chaotic time when so many have disappeared in the rapture that they will then invariably start the rounding up of Americans in the name of ‘helping’ you to see if your loved ones are still alive and where they might be.

During the Rapture the Bible says Jesus will appear in the clouds and take His Bride groom [the Church]… He will first take those that are ‘asleep in Christ’… meaning the bodies of those Believers that have died already… so I think is will appear to be a storm… and then He will take those Believers alive in Christ…

The Unbelievers will be left behind… and most of the presence of God will be removed… so it will be an ultimate evil place to have to live in, but Hell is the worst, as ALL that is God is removed.

God is ‘Love’, and in hell you are not loved, God is ‘Life’ and in Hell you are separated from God the Life Giver, God is ‘Truth’ and in Heaven God will reveal Great and Mighty things, God is ‘The Way’ to eternity and he gives ‘Hope’ to those that love Him but those in Hell will be in despair, God is in the ‘air’ which gives life and those in Hell will forever take short gasps of breaths of air, God’s water is the living waters and teaming with life and in Hell you will be thirsty and wish for even a drop, God gives us ‘FREE Will’ and there will be no freedom in Hell, God prepares you a ‘room’ in His Mansion with others to enjoy their company in Heaven, but you are imprisoned alone tormented by Demons in Hell, and you sit at the table to feast with Jesus, but in Hell you are always hungry, God has made all the colors and He is the ‘Light’, but in Hell it will be a piercing darkness and you will be hot and extremely uncomfortable. The Bible says you will groan in misery and nash your teeth.

I know times are tough now and getting worse… and watching our freedoms disappear before our very eyes with out results is very hard, but many are awakening to it… it is for each of us TO CHOOSE to whom we will serve… God the Father, God the Son- Jesus the Christ [Messiah], and The Holy Spirit …OR ourselves (which is choosing the devil) or Satan.

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” Joshua 24:15

            God Bless You all.

          • Karolyn

Christin – Think about it rationally. Why would god take up dead bodies? Why would he even take up live bodies? We are not our bodies! We are sporotual beings housed in material bodies that mean absolutely nothing! We are not our bodies!

          • Al Sieber

Christin, I don’t believe in the Rapture, I believe Jesus would want us to fight against the evil forces, or fight against evil that is already here which is the NWO. “goggle” Albert Pike and see the plans for the world, including the one world religion. we need to fight against these people, we out number them 99-1. the people need to be educated.

          • Christin

            Karolyn,

I am always very rational… you should know I am well grounded by now.

God is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (infinite knowledge), and omnipresent (present in all places)… after all He created the Heavens and the Earth and all the living things in it!

However, man’s way are not God’s as we have limited knowledge and power. God’s ways appear strange to us, but that is okay as God will reveal great and mighty things to us one day.

            The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 4: 13- 15:

“But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep.”

In these passages Paul tells the Believers in Thessalonians… that they have been given instructions that those who have died (asleep) before them are in heaven in spirit and that gives us hope as UNbelievers do not have that hope when someone dies. He tells them that Jesus will bring with Him those who have ‘fallen asleep’ (Believers who are dead)as declared in the Bible. Then he says that we who are left will not go before those who have died (Believers who have fallen asleep).

            The bible says in… 1 Thessalonians 4 : 16-18:

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the archangel’s call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first; then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

Here Paul explains that Jesus Himself will come down from heaven and the sounds to listen for are the “His cry of command’, ‘archangel’s call’, and the ‘sound of the trumpet.’ HERE ‘the dead in Christ’ will rise first… meaning their earthly bodies will rise from the graves and the ashes spread across the land and the seas… as only their spirit went to heaven… [God will give us ALL who go to Heaven a 'new body' like Jesus'.] Second, then the living Believers [will not die] and will be caught up together with them (those that are asleep, their spirit already in the clouds and rising dead body molecules… science explains that matter doesn’t go away only change in form) to meet Jesus in the air… [that is why I said it may appear to look like a storm.] We learn that Jesus does not come to stand on Earth this time. Paul adds that we, Believers, will not ever be separated from God and to be comforted by this and comfort one another.

God also says in the Bible “to hide the scriptures in your heart”, that way you know when truth or Lies are spoken and you understand what God’s plans for you as a Believer are.

            Best to you all

          • Christin

            Al Sieber,

I have met many people who don’t believe in the God and yet I know he exists; and I have met some people who do not believe in the Rapture and yet in the scripture verses I have quoted above in 1st Thessalonians 4, it is clearly explains the Rapture.

Jesus has given us the great Commission “to go into all nations and preach the Good news that Jesus Christ is Lord”… and in the great information age and our mobile societies so many have heard via missionaries, TV, moving to America, cable and satellite.

We are commissioned to ‘fight the good fight’ NOW… and the time will eventually come to an end at God’s choosing.

The Bible says that [after the Rapture] during the Great Tribulation 144,000 Jews will come to know the truth that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah) and some others left behind will be saved, but not near enough. The Lord must be in one’s heart not knowledge in one’s head.

            God bless you.

          • Kate 8

Christin – Is there anywhere in Scripute that has any allusion to a rapture other than the writings of Paul?

I know that there is vague reference in Revelation, if you read it that way. And I know that the OT prophets, and Yeshua as well, have said that we are to pray that we are “found worthy to escape the wrath to come”, and that God’s people are not appointed to wrath…

Somehow, though, I just don’t think it will be as many are teaching. I’m thinking more along the lines of a dimensional shift, or something we just can’t comprehend at this point.

It’s true that God has shown His people a way out throughout history. It is also true that many of His people have suffered and died horribly. We don’t know the when, the where, the what or the who.

There is much deception planned ahead for us, including a mock “rapture” involving “benevolent” ETs. We must be vigilant and discerning. I like the idea of a Rapture, too, but we’ve misunderstood so much…and Scripture does say that the numbers are few, and that a great deal of Christendom will be told, “I never knew you”.

          • Al Sieber

Christin, I didn’t say I didn’t believe in Jesus, the Jesuits had a lot to do with inventing the Rapture. I’m saying Jesus would want us to fight against evil. I’m burned out on religion after being brought up in the Catholic Church and studying the teaching of the Jesuits, excuse me, being forced to study their teachings.

          • Al Sieber

And God Bless you Christin, I’m not laying down for anything. I live a whole different life style then a lot of people, out in the mountains in harmony with nature where one mistake can kill you, this is the life I chose. I’m not saying you’re wrong either I read the bible.

          • Al Sieber

And Kate, I agree about the ETs.

          • Christin

            Al Sieber,

If you will re-read my post I do not say you do not believe in Jesus… I stated that “I have met many people who do not believe in God…”

I can sympathize with your Catholic upbringing and discouragement with religion. I consider myself to be a Christ follower, but not ‘religious’… ya know.

I will stick to the Truth in the Holy Bible and any church that adds to or leaves things out is not a real Christian Church… the Word is the Word (period).

I am disappointed with Religions that have their members or congregation memorize extra books written by man that they try to supplement the Holy Bible with… God’s Word is sufficient for me.
I am also disappointed with certain religions that won’t let you as a Christian partake in their Lord’s Supper/ Communion because you are not their Religion, even though you ARE a Christian.

Jesus did not say you can only come to Him if you are Catholic or Protestant… He said ALL who are thirsty and heavy laden, come…

Al, You can ‘lay down’ your life for Christ and know that you will be in heaven with Jesus when you die.

Enjoy your mountains… I live in the peaceful country with hills, forests, and pastures; and I often feel like I am in the midst of God… hope you feel the same where you are.

          • Christin

            Kate8,

You can reference “Rapture” on BING and hit the scripture verses they list and read in your own Bible to see what they say…
I don’t have a list of other scriptures right now other that the ones you and I mentioned above unless I do more research.

Just because Gods’ Word does not mention the Rapture a million times does not mean that the Word is not believable or sound. I know some religions teach it is not true… but I will stick to the Word and not religious cults. (I want to say the name of the religions that do not teach it, but don’t want to step on any toes here.)

As to your scripture reference in the Bible in Matthew 7 : 21-23…

“Not every one who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.’”

Here Matthew tells us that MANY who think they know the Lord Jesus will call out to Him, but the truth is they have heard of Him and have head knowledge, but they do not ‘know’ of Him in their heart.

God knows our heart and if we truly Believe and trust in Him. If one is a fake the Lord knows it and He will say, Surely I never knew you!
And from the scripture verse above it would appear that many so called religious folks are phonies …playing church, and there are many false doctrines in ‘churches’ that people attend (like in the Christian Scientology (new age)or those who have gay priests (to name two) that will lead one astray from really ‘knowing’ the Lord.

That old theory to dupe the people is still around?

They will have to come up with a doozy when many good people get Raptured and are GONE… and the world is in mass confusion. I would think they could just say it is a monumental storm world wide and folks will have to go to the FEMA camps to register so they can be reunited with their loved ones who are of course gone!

            Hey Al
The CLEAR Act: A pre-planned and pre-written bill; one just waiting for that golden opportunity to magically appear, will seize all water rights, coastal and in-land. BINGO! We got the BP oil spill and this is one of the excuses for the CLEAR Act. This bill seizes all mineral, gas and oil rights and permits, and by extension the revenues from those permits. This bill converts state owned land to federal ownership and control. This Act which stood little chance of passing was quietly slipped over to the EPA for implementation through agency regulation and enforcement. This bill also represents the UN position that land ownership and by extension those things derived from the land including water, should be owned only by government.

          • Dan az

I know you know all this but there are some that don’t.
Cap & Trade: This is a bill built on one of the greatest scams in recent history; the global warming myth. This myth was promoted to make C&T seem plausible. In reality, the bill would not have reduced carbon emissions and was never intended to. The only true function of the bill was revenue generation. Big polluters would be given credits to use or to sell generating a secondary market. Once the climate-gate emails revealed the fraudulent science and the open intention to mislead the public through the use of fraudulent data, global warming was dispensed with and the issue became climate-change. ( you are supposed to be too stupid to realize it is the same deal) Once exposed as a fraud, the bill was quietly slipped over to the EPA to implement and to enforce, which they are doing.

Under Agenda 21, every aspect of life is controlled by the state.

          • Dan az

Now here is where we start putting the puzzle pieces together:

            * S.510 fake food safety bill will destroy independent agriculture and export most of our food product out of the country. (our food)
            * The CLEAR act takes our water, minerals, mining and land ( water & raw materials) Now slated for implementation by EPA. There goes your right to clean affordable, water.
            * Cap & Trade sells the rights to pollute for a fee (our air) EPA Again! That would be the air you breathe.
            * Obamacare takes away our 4th Amendment rights to be secure in our persons and our privacy. There goes your personal freedom.
            * 22 million are jobless ( and this number is rising)
            * 47 million families are on food stamps (also rising)
            * Food prices have risen 70% in less than a year.
            * Foreclosures are at an historical high (and rising)
            * Of the bills mentioned, each includes a prohibition on judicial revue: meaning the agencies which will now be aggressively assaulting private citizens cannot be taken into court.
            * SB 1619 The Livable Communities Act will resurface and be sold as “the future” of America…..the only way they can keep us safe.
Boy I sure feel safer don’t you?

Just another brick in the wall: UN Agenda 21 in US law

If there is anything the United Nations hates worse than our dogged determination to remain free, it is our insistence that we will not fall under UN control.

            _______________________________________________

Let me lay this out for you in a simple way, so that maybe you can get the gist of what is really going on and how through incremental legislation EVERYTHING is being taken away from us.

Although the bill is marketed as another global warming fix for this thoroughly exposed hoax, it redefines “navigable waters” (limiting jurisdiction) to, “waters of America”, an all-encompassing jurisdiction. The bill is at odds with this supreme court ruling which says that investors may build over wetlands. While these two things seem arbitrary on the surface, in fact they are not. This case established a precedent which will allow global interests both foreign and domestic to alter, delete and otherwise redirect natural water flows for the benefit of business. This got the EPA off the hook. Rapanos v supreme court

This bill will also make the Coast Guard, now a military branch (formerly civil service) a police power not only on the water, but also on land. As a national police force, they might site you on land or water for an infraction of federal corporate codes, and may now take you to a military tribunal or administrative corporate court: it is entirely at their discretion.

The Healthcare Reform Act: Another bill that is nothing more than a loss of control over our individual selves that also includes a massive system of fines, fees, penalties, co-payments and of course the ever popular mandate that we must buy some crappy insurance policy that in essence will cover nothing much. The bill also mandates mandatory vaccines and relegates the decisions on your healthcare to a “panel” in some agency who will decide what treatments might be available to you. Dependent on your age and what your value to the community might be if an investment was made in your recovery, will determine what treatments you get.

Did we regulate the insurance industry so that it cannot charge extortion rates? No!

Did we make sure that a right to negotiate prescription drug prices was included? No!

Were pharmaceutical manufacturers held liable for defective medications and vaccines which cause massive illnesses and death? No!

Was anything at all in this bill conducive to cleaning up the healthcare, pharmaceutical and insurance industries? Absolutely not.

            Trade agreements

As the devastation to our economy, manufacturing base, job base, continues unabated largely as a result of numerous illegal trade agreements which devastated every sector of the economy, an estimated 22 million people find themselves ultimately out of work. Without regard to the devastating affects of additional free trade agreements, Obama is now considering signing the South Korean Trade Agreement costing the US an estimated 179,000 jobs. This agreement is NOT a constitutional treaty. It is a private corporate to corporate agreement between the executives of those corporations; ie., Our president and the leader of South Korea.

Did we penalize any corporation that shut its doors here in the US and then went over to some third world country to ply their trade? No! We are forced to subsidize them by allowing them to continue to conduct business in the US without any tariffs for doing so; in fact without having to pay anything for the privilege of conducting business in the US. They are allowed to rake in massive profits, route them through foreign banks and avoid most US taxes.

In the midst of all of the above, came the foreclosures on homes across the country as the trap laid for many unsuspecting homeowners, slammed shut. The trap had been carefully laid using derivatives, fractional selling, multiple selling of mortgage contracts, artificial inflation of the housing market and adjustable rate mortgages that somehow almost simultaneously inflated all at one time and then collapsed. Of course, none of the career criminals from Wall Street or banking who were working in tandem with the District of Criminals ever saw a day in jail for their corruption and not one was forced to forfeit even a portion of their ill-gotten gains.

UN Agenda 21 defers to corporations as the appropriate “persons” regarding import/export of a nations assets.

Did we bail out homeowners? No! We bailed out the thugs and thieves!

The Livable Communities Act, (SB 1619) was introduced by outgoing Senator Christopher Dodd (D-Conn.). It seeks to fulfill the United Nation’s plan Agenda 21, adopted at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992 and signed onto by “New World Order” President George H.W. Bush. This bill is the rounding up of all the displaced workers, homeless families, rural folk, and who ever else can be herded into these United Nations, planned population centers. This is the creation of ghettos that will virtually function as prisons for massive portions of the population as land is seized and declared off limits to human habitation as required under the UN Agenda 21 plan.

            * This act:
            * Is a blueprint for the transformation of our society into total Federal control.
            * Will enforce Federal Sustainable Development zoning and control of local communities.
            * Will create a massive new “development” bureaucracy.
            * Will drive up the cost of energy to heat and cool your home.
            * Will drive up the cost of gasoline as a way to get you out of your car.
            * Will force you to spend thousands of dollars on your home in order to comply with EPA demands that you must meet their standards before you can sell your home.

Much of this is already in play and evident in the economy and in government as we are steered into accepting UN control.

And that is where we end up: at the United Nations. Virtually everything mentioned here and much more that was not mentioned can be traced back to UN agenda 21 mandates. We are being maneuvered into economic disaster while losing our freedom and human rights to water and food and self determination.

          • Dan az

While we founder on the edge of un-repayable national debt, congress on both sides of the fictional isle and the president work tirelessly to implement by stealth the Agenda 21 protocols. Our government refuses to impose a moratorium on foreign aid even as American’s slide into poverty and this same government refuses to give aid to American’s.

If there is anything the United Nations hates worse than our dogged determination to remain free, it is our insistence that we will not fall under UN control. Of course the politicians in the District of Criminals, whether Republican or Democrat, and our president have other plans for us.

          • Kate 8

Dan az – The guest last night in C2C, an economist, was telling about the devastation in the midwest to the food producers because of the floods, and then the extreme drought in the lower states (and millions of acres of fires).

We are about to experience famine like we’ve never seen. They’ve already shipped out our grain stores…we have no food reserve anymore in the US. As prices rise, only the wealthy will be able to eat.

BTW, did you see the article about the woman in MI who was arrested for having a backyard garden?

          • Dan az

            Kate
I did see that.I can only imagine when they go to the store and their out what they will think about that persons garden that they wanted out of the front yard. Those kind of people deserve whats coming.Hey how much ground do you have?Do you have a green house?

          • Dan az

            Kate
Did you get set up with solar yet?If not I found a place the sells panels for 1.50 per watt rather than 4.00 if you need help let me know.

          • Kate 8

Dan az – I have a vegetable garden, and enough room for some chickens, if I decide to get some. I just hate having to deal with sick animal issues, which seem to be so prevalent today. Also, I have large, exotic cats that won’t hesitate to go after a large bird.

As for solar…If I knew how to build a solar unit myself, I would. They are quite expensive to have installed. And then we have the problem of extensive chemtrail spraying most of the year, when we get NO SUN for months at a time.

We also have family who live on a farm, and they give us meat that they raise. It’s a lot better than commercial, but I think they do get feed that is most likely GMO. They don’t seem to be aware of that stuff.

Have you looked at magnetic generators? They aren’t supposed to need ANY power source other than magnets.

          • Dan az

            Kate
Those generators have been running for a very long time now and they have been supplying enough electricity to keep a city running. The solar issue is not hard I know you can do it.Here’s a link check it out and they still put out power even on cloudy days. You need to get started I can help you with anything you find difficult.Where you are should be good for a small wind generator, when the sun dosen’t chine the wind is blowing. And the cost is lower now then ever before.Just make sure that it is off grid type because the on grid dosen’t provide batteries only power to the grid.Believe it or not there are people out there that think just because they have solar that when the grid goes down they would have power! :) You don’t need much to do what you need so I would suggest that you start by picking up one panel at a time and get a modified 1500 watt inverter its all I use and it last for years without being turned off.Look at this site and start saving for a small system and some how we can talk and I can give you advice to which one you need.
            http://sunelec.com/
Really its not hard and I know you well enough that if you set your mind on anything you will do it. :)

Well Dan, I knew about that, check out landrights.org., I pump water out of a mine shaft which is 300′ deep and since it’s patent mining property they don’t know, and there’s a lot of flooded tunnels underground so there’s plenty of water. so it’s just a matter of time.

          • Al Sieber

Hey Dan, their debating cap and trade right now, another question, how far are you from the gas pipeline? it runs right past the mine here and I can be over there in 7 hours on my ATV when the SHTF, and where do you get the cheaper solar panels? $1.40 a watt?

          • Al Sieber

Dan, right now gold is $1569.20 Ariz. time 5:21 pm, last week it was $1480. something is up in the world we don’t know, maybe it has to do with the debt ceiling they’re debating on.

          • Kate 8

Thanks, Dan. I will check out the links.

Wind is not practical here as 99.9% of the time the air is dead still. Maybe a very slight breeze at times, but not much.

I have been interested in solar for a long time. If they’d stop the chemtrail spraying, we’d have sun 99% of the time!

          • Dan az

            Hey Al
The gas line runs along the tracks into ashfork and under the 89 which is about a mile from the entrance to bullock rd if you go the long way’ its paved for 2 miles then its dirt the rest you cross the tracks at the dirt and turns to the left then take the first right at the mail box’s then about a mile an a half you’ll see the drive way its about a half mile long the first place you see is my youngest the next one is me.Always welcome bud any time.

Doesn’t surprise me Al Sieber,Dirty Harry Reid is so crooked that when dead he’ll have to be screwed into the ground. I live in Vegas and while the rest of Nevada is conservative, the leftie weenies are in Vegas. No doubt they’re refugees from Southern Cal and set up camp here to screw things up like they have in California. The unions rule here as well. Hence Dingey Harry got reelected thanks to the voting clout of Clark County which is Vegas, same as the waterfront cities in California which is the populated left coast. The lefty refugees who went to Oregon did a great job of Californicating everything there hence it’s another fuc*ed up state nobody wants to live in. I lived in Illinois for a very short term in ’67,if you got a job you were automatically enrolled into the union like it or not. The sheeple there are so union brainwashed and vote Dummycrat I don’t care what that as small a state that it is,it’s in economic shambles. Never ceases to amaze me how unioncrats ever loyal to their union keep putting themselves out of jobs the union was supposed to protect. The demands on the employers become so costly that the companies can everbody and run overseas.

I am sure the Unions have already installed the rigging parts and programs in the voting machines, and will check regularly to be sure the pre-programmed figures are coming out on time.

No Nevada debacle of having to interrupt voting to fix the machine at the last minute to put the proper guy into office so clumsily! Not this year.

        • Kate 8

Lewis – There must be a way we could insist on paper back-up ballots. And then we need to demand that they be counted and compared to electronic voting, because electronic voting is a democrat dream come true. No wonder they demanded it.

There is so much distrust of our election system now, and unless we push them and refuse to back off, they’ll just blow us aside and go on as they have been. If we want to have our voice, we’ll have to make it happen.

Joyce, Obozo, our Liar in Chief has promised many things, and kept none!! Here they wanted to buil a railroad from Wyo, across SD all the way to the East coast, to haul Wyoming coal…guess it is a cleaner coal!! We balked at the land grab this would have taken!! Also the endless trains you might have to wait a full hour for them to get by, before the 15 minute window for you to cross! That’s right, a 10 – 15 minute window at the end of every hour!!
Obozo is trying to destroy this country, won’t let us use Coal, Wood, New oil…if he thinks he can force “green” on us, it simply will not work!! but tens maybe hundreds of thousands will suffer!!!

What the Democrats have done to the American society and economy since they won contoling majorities in both houses of Congress in 2006, and have accellerated it since Obama won the Presidency in 2008, reminds me of the old Soviet Union, when I was just a kid back in the 1960′s. In the USSR the government controled all aspects of the society and economy, and every few years would come up with a 5 year plan to create successes in all fields of endeavors, as well as in social justice, but failed miserably every time, just like Obama and the Democrats are doing now in the good old USA. During these times our government would mock them, and berate them for now copying our successful style of government of ‘Free Enterprise’ and ‘Capitalism’. In the USA today though, Obama and the Democrats are copying what the old USSR used to do, with the same miserable results, while the new Russia has been copying what we used to do, get out of their markets and let them operate freely, without government interference, and its working for them. Apparently the government officials of the old USSR did learn from us, and have implemented what they learned, in the new Russia. Our problem is that the Democrats have proven they never learn, and every time they gain control of our government, we suffer through this type of a malaise, ever since Jimmy Carter, but is worse with Obama, because he’s a devoted Socialist, who wants to spread the wealth by taking it from the rich in taxes, and giving it to the poor, who refuse to work and think they are entitled to the government providing them with a living. The only question for our society now is, have the voters learned, and if they have, are they going to do something about it?

    • http://foundersrevolution.blogspot.com patriot1776

      Answer: NO and NOPE

    • Silver Bullet

It isn’t so much a question of whether
the voters have learned or not, it’s whether
there are now enough “American voters” left
to vote for a true American government. Many,
many people in this country have converted to
the Antiamerican Progressives. It’s easier for
these creatures to live in America without the
Christianity thing and without the daily grind
of employment. There needs to be at least 73
million Americans left. I seriously doubt there
are that many American voters left.

Silver Bullet thats why the SLIMEBALLS keep pushing for amnesty for the illegals. they want to insure more STUPID democrats,

Silver Bullet, we can vote for who ever we want, but keep in mind, SEIU are the caretakers of the computers & voting machines, there is your answer as to why Bam Ban is in office! Pay attention to the next election, if indeed there is one.

        • Angel Wannabe

SB, The winners are decided way before an election and the vote counters seal the deal!

      • OB1

Yes their are Silver Bullet. We are the silent majority. We are connected within our own communities and townships and we TALK. We all have business, family and friends elsewhere. Many times the silent majority does not use the internet because they do not trust it to protect their privacy. The first thing the Bolsheviks then the communists did was persecute and murder thousands upon thousand of Orthodox Christians, particularly all the leadership. Later they put in state appointed leadership. First you destroy the church, then the people, the body of Christ, then the scholars, writers, artists, etc. and replace them with state approved clones. The word “holocaust” is linked quite correctly with the Jews but not in the way presented by the Jewish-controlled Press which carefully ignores one of the real Jewish Holocausts – the Russian Revolution. This was probably one of the bloodiest genocidal revolutions ever perpetrated. The figures of those who died runs to 20-30 million. It saw the destruction of the aristocracy, the intelligentsia and the peasants -the term “kulak” which is linked with this homicide derived from the word for a “fist” was originally used by the peasants to distinguish exploitation elements, i.e. usurers, sub-renters of land, etc.,from the farming peasantry. During collectivisation the term “kulak” was used against any peasant – rich or poor – who was opposed to entering the collective farms. So please don’t ever give up on ordinary people. We are a nation of immigrants. Our government is just 230 or so years old. Our fathers fought for our freedom in 1776, 1812, two world wars, then Korea and Vietnam. We cannot save the world from communism but we sure as heck could do a better job of showing the world who we are and what we are all about. Russia today has more free enterprise models than it ever has! The progressives are NOT progressive! The are REGRESSIVE! Many of us give and share knowledge, goods and essentials to others. We do not need the progressives to make us do what we have been doing for generations. Everyone, keep up your most excellent posts. I am leaning many helpful things in order to be prepared and to help others within my sphere of influence. Doing good does mean exposing evil. If you don’t, then it is quite common now to call evil things good and good evil. I think you are all very brave. Never be ashamed of God. He loves us and offered himself a sacrifice once and for all for US! Google search the Russian Revolution, the Bolsheviks, the murder of Orthodox Christians by the hundreds of thousands! If you really want to learn, look at what the Turks did to the Armenians! The Jewish Holocaust was evil, however, what happened to the Russians and Armenians by numbers makes those numbers pale. Keep up the questions and the good conversations! Thanks. A member of the silent (maybe) majority.

I DARE anyone to name JUST one program put forth by the government that DID NOT accelerate into a BOONDOOGLE of INEPTNESS.

They have been doing what leaders do (pushing for more power and perks) almost since the beginnings of our country. Right now the Democrats are favoring their Crony Capitalists in the Alternative Energy industries. The Republicans do it also (have been since their inception), but they have a different set of Crony Capitalists.
We need to get our Government out of the marketplace and get ourselves back to Free Markets where the playing fields are level and the consumers decide which companies fail and which succeed, instead of that decision being made by self-interested politicians.

Pre-communism Czechoslovakia had a free enterprise system in operation so they had a basis for rebuilding one when the communist were thrown out of power. Russia had little or no pre-communist free enterprise and what little there might have been was destroyed by Stalin.

For some unknown reason the voters are too ignorant to understand what Obama told them he was going to do to the United States. He has followed through on every Alinsky, Socialist promise he made during the campaign. Hitler misled the German people during the thirties in the same hypnotic way.

    • karel Eekels

Our most abundant resource is ignorance! The only chance left and to get our country back as we have known it is for a massive turn-out at election date, vote these political scum bags out of office and fumigate the halls of the Congress. Even better is to restrict the right to vote by “we the people” to 50% of all US citizens who pay their taxes. These bottom feeders, should not be allowed to live rent free in your and my brain.

      • DaveH

I agree, but I doubt there is any way to accomplish that peacefully. The leaders aren’t about to give up their vote-buying power.

      • mark

I agree, but let’s look at two paragons of conservative values: Mississippi and Alabama, the two poorest states in the union, lowest income rates, lowest education rates, worst health care, lowest wages, highest high school drop out rates, highest teen-age pregnancies, highest obesity rates. These two states practically belong in the Third World. They consistently come in at the bottom of virtually every quality of life standard during good times and bad – except of course for taxes. They both have very low state tax burdens. Mississippi and Alabama: the future vision of Tea Party America. Someday all of the other forty-eight states can be just like them.

        • BKWsr

Due you want to compare these 2 states to Cali. I believe I would rather live in Alabama, or Mississipi. In Cali. you have gangs roaming the streets, Drive by shootings, Schools controlled by gangs. The crime in that state unmentionable. I could go on but I don’t have all day. You can keep Cali.

        • Atwood

          Mark

Maybe Alabama and Mississippi aren’t doing well, but you failed to mention the flagship of fiscal conservatism, Texas. Even with the anchor of illegals around their necks they are showing all of us the way out of this mess the progressives have created. For every failed conservative you can name 10 failed liberals(if you are honest with yourself).

In the words of our “leader”, the liberals and progressive voters need to “eat their peas” and face reality that real conservatism works every time it is tried. They need to wear disguise, sneak in the back door, vote absentee, whatever it takes and fire this empty suit of ineffectual fluff known as BHO.

        • DaveH

          Define Conservative, Mark.
My definition of Conservative is those people who would like to have the kind of Freedom and Small Government that our Founders envisioned.
The reality is that in the last 60 years the size of our Government has grown almost double, yet witness our current economic mess. How can that be? Intelligent people would have to ask “Why are we in this economic mess with all that Government protection we now have?”

Ken so far you’re right about California’s agricultural demise thanks to a stupid judge one of many who abound in California. The once salad bowl of the world has become a dust bowl with lack of water to grow crops. Correction to your comment is the Snail Darter is not the fish,it’s the Delta Smelt, same difference though and environmental whackoism just the same that is rampant in that state. If the Delta Smelt had gone extinct, know what would’ve happened? NOTHING!

      • DaveH

I doubt that the environmentalists care about the smelt either. It’s just a power scheme. I believe their main goal is to control our economy.

        • DaveH

We all want what we want. The difference between us and the Environmental extremists is that they want what they want with other peoples’ money.
They are free at any time to pool their monies to buy land to set aside for nature. That isn’t enough for them. They want our public lands for their own private preserves.

          • eddie47d

Dave H., Conservationists have been buying up land for at least 30 years so you are wrong on that point. The Public lands belong to everyone to enjoy and indeed they are. They weren’t set up for corporate exploitation as you assume. Not everything in life is about taking and leaving little for the next generation. You want it here and now no matter how much damage is done. I’ve seen you attack the environment on several occasions and without regrets. I’m not sure who is nuttier you or the author. How much damage has to be done before you wake up from that slumber. You can’t ever say that private companies are responsible when it comes to the environment because they keep doing their dirty little deeds. The leak into the Yellowstone River is just the latest in the never ending streak of damages. Before that it was the Kalamazoo River and before that it was the toxic sludge from the coal companies entering the rivers in W Virginia.

  • Dennis

A large majority of the good citizens of America are saying these days how bad Obama is, but still, hardly anyone seems to be “getting it.” The simple truth of the matter is that we have Nikita Khrushchev in the Whitehouse. Khrushchev is long dead but his philosophy is not. He said when he beat his shoe on the NATO table that “We will bury you.” He also said they would do it without firing a shot. Well, hello out there. Like I said, Khrushchev, or Hugo Chavez, or whatever any other dictator you would like to name is IN THE WHITHOUSE! GET IT? The enemy is in the Whitehouse, PERIOD! Congress has either been frightened to death by threats or has been bought off. Obama spits on the Constitution, right and left, breaks laws every day, obviously has a totally bogus and phony birth certificate, and NO member of the Senate or the House, Repub or Dem, does anything at all about it. If I never before believed in conspiracy theories, I sure am beginning to. This country is in very big trouble, VERY big trouble.

    • Vagabond

      AMEN to that Dennis,

    • Eddie G.

Ditto Dennis. My theory is,either on or before taking office Oboy had his Chicago henchmen research and put together dossiers on every long tenure congress member of both houses, thereby having a record of the corruption of each. It is a no brainer that they are all so corrupt and crooked, that when they die, you’d have to screw them into the ground. Now then, any member of congress choosing to rise up against Oboy is under threat to have his or her dirty laundry exposed to the public, assuring their defeat in an election. It’s the only logical thing I can come up with as to how Oboy is able to crap on the Constitution willy-nilly and get away with it. There’s one person with leadership ability who once Obama is defeated in 2012 would not hesitate to see Oboy fitted for an orange jumpsuit. She did it to some members of the good ol’ boy network in her state, and that person is Sarah Palin. She shrugs the media off with impunity and has the lefties all running scared ’cause they know full well she has the cojones to defeat socialist liberalism.

      • JimRed

“…put together dossiers on every long tenure congress member of both houses, thereby having a record of the corruption of each.

That is precisely why we need TERM LIMITS. No one should be able to hold office long enough to establish a network of corruption.

      • JimRed

“There’s one person with leadership ability who once Obama is defeated in 2012 would not hesitate to see Oboy fitted for an orange jumpsuit. She did it to some members of the good ol’ boy network in her state, and that person is Sarah Palin.”

The only other one who might do the same just happens to be the only woman presently running; Michele Bachmann. The men (with the possible exception of Mr. Cain) lack the guts or fear being called the dreaded R word too much.

        • Eddie G.

I have the same admiration for Michele Bachmann as I do for Palin. Either would be just fine for me. Anything but Oboy or a RINO or a Dummycrat.

          • DaveH

I don’t see that either one of them is going to deliver us back our Freedom. Michele seems to be fine with being the world’s policemen. And all I need to know about Palin is that she helped put the RINO McCain back in our Senate. The military budget is a large part of our current predicament. It’s not only immoral to be campaigning all over the world, but it’s prohibitively expensive. All the major empires pursued a very similar course to ours, and they collapsed as a result.
There are only 2 Presidential candidates in the Republican party who understand Freedom — Ron Paul and Gary Johnson. The media has done their best to squelch both of them. They can’t allow Free Market candidates to get elected and upset their Gravy Train.
Both the Republicans and the Democrats have been playing us for fools for many many decades. Let’s change that.

      • OB1

I like to think of Sarah Palin as John McCain’s revenge to the government and the GOP. Think about it…he was a POW for 5 years in Vietnam? He had alot of time to think about the way things work. Could he make it happen himself? NO!!! Enter Palin! Brilliant.

    • mark

Yeah but unlike Khrushchev, Obama is up for election in November 2012. He can be voted out. He was elected in in 2008 with 53% of the vote and he can be unelected in 2012 that is why he is not a dictator. You do realize what country you are living in, don’t you? There will be an election next year and the President will abide by that election. Khrushchev came to power in a coup and was ousted in a coup. These are crucial differences. Obama has to work with an elected legislature. When Hitler came to power after getting 32% of the vote in the 1932 election he immediately shut down the legislature (after the staged Reichstag fire) and cancelled all future elections in Germany. There was never another election there during the Nazi era. We had an election in 2010, as scheduled, in which the Democrats lost badly curtailing Obama’s ability to pass any more significant legislation. Didn’t you pay attention in civic class in school? Don’t you understand our political system at all?

      • BKWsr

14 states had their elections corrupted by ACORN, and some other groups to get Obama elected, also his senate and congessman. Do you think it can not happen again? As soon as he is sworn in again he will once again use his presidential powers to close the investigations.

        • DaveH

We need to put people in power with the guts and honesty to cut back the Leviathan Government dramatically — back to the days when the President didn’t have such expansive powers, back to the days when the Government actually obeyed the Constitution they all swear to uphold.

      • JUKEBOX

Have you never heard of the possibility of this deviant declaring “MARTIAL LAW”, and if he and Holder do this, the America we know will exist no more.

        • mark

No president has ever declared martial law for the whole nation or to cancel a federal election in the entire history of the United States. Obama does not have either the Constitutional power or for that matter desire to do so. Abraham Lincoln’s military commanders under his wartime authority as commander-in-chief imposed martial law in certain areas of the border states and the Southern states but this was during a civil war in which 11 states formed armies to attack federal armed forces and facilities such as Ft. Sumter. And even then the elections of 1862 and 1864 went forward. Lincoln also suspended habeus corpus in some cases but otherwise freedom of the press, freedom of religion, and freedom to assemble continued throughout the war, a remarkable achievement. I don’t doubt that large amounts of people on this blog believe Obama will cancel the 2012 election or fix said election in some way but I doubt that any serious-minded, educated American not blinded by political paranoia believes that. This would, of course, preclude large amounts of the partipants of this blog. As for ACORN fixing of elections, my God , look at what the Republicans did in Florida in 2000! An incredible case of local election fixing. In the national election that year Bush won even though Gore got a half a million more popular votes. But of course no U.S. president has ever been elected by the people but rather by the Electoral College. The Founding Slaveholders, who we just celebrated a week ago, saw to that. We are in fact one of the few countries on earth that do not popularly elect our national political leader pretty amazing when we sell ourselves around the globe as such great champions of democracy

          • DaveH

The North attacked the South. Fort Sumter was a false flag event engineered to give Lincoln an excuse for the war he wanted. Nobody died from the firing on Fort Sumter, and it resulted only because the North wouldn’t get out of the South as requested:
            http://mises.org/misesreview_detail.aspx?control=336

          • Kate 8

mark – Obama doesn’t let the Constitution get in his way. He does a lot of things he doesn’t have the Constitutional power to do.

He obviously doesn’t see the Constitution as binding. He also thinks he and his cohorts are above the law. Or, perhaps, are the law.

      • Atwood

Don’t underestimate the audacity of this guy. Acorn is the prime example of what he will do and he has no problem circumventing the rules if it suits his agenda. Please, people open your eyes to what we have in front of us. It is our responsibility to warn and inform those in our circles.

We must act now if we want to save this country and the ideals that made it the success it is. The success of our Republic is not an accident any more than the failure of every socialist experiment is an anomaly.

      • Alex

Mark, it seems you may be new here.

You will find, over time (say, three or two days} that any opinions that run contrary to the Fright Wing squawking points are quickly dismissed in a semi-literate fusillade of ‘Magic Bullets’ like ‘ACORN’, ‘birth certificate’, ‘Marxist’, etc—but very very rarely anything of substance, no real response or reasoned counterpoint, just vitriol.

        • http://Moreexpensive,moreunknowproblems. Lewis Munn

Thanks, Alex, from all of us on here, I am sure.

Are you saying Acorn doesn’t exist, or that all that mess was all just a fabrication.

          • eddie47d

Almost everything said about Acorn was indeed a fabrication. The imagination from the fright wing exposed little and is now doing a great job of keeping “certain people” (certain voters) locked up in their boxes to keep them from voting. Yes the next election may indeed be manufactured and if the right wing has it’s way most of the opposition will just stay home.

when are you all going to learn that the political system we live in does not work. people left england back in the 1700′s for these very reasons. the only way you will ever see change in the right direction is to eliminate the political system and come up with a system that will still have greed and corruption (because man is not perfect) but will be run by people that are professionals in their fields. you are all right in what you say but you offer no solutions other than to stay status quo and just play musical chairs with these idiots. this country got where it is by a revolution and maybe that’s whats coming. i don’t know but i do know that this way does work and it needs to be eliminated. stop trying to fix it with rubber bands.

    • Sirian

home boy, perhaps I’ve misread your comment but it strikes me as if you are not well versed in our Constitution. If you have not read it, along with the Federalist Papers, then I’d strongly advise you to do so. From those documents alone you should be capable of understanding what would redirect our present political system in the right direction. Don’t simply read them, study them. Besides, since you’re a home boy you should be have plenty of time to do so.

      • http://Moreexpensive,moreunknowproblems. Lewis Munn

Yup, when all else fails, go back and read the directions!

      • home boy

the constitution is a guide line for us to follow as a road map but you still have the human element to deal with. ben franklin and jefferson warn us that politicians will be our down fall if we give them enough rope to hang us and they have, so i’m back to my original statement that no one here offers true solutions to turn this country around and from you comment i see you are willing to stay with our politicians or status quo. remember you reap what you sow.

    • DaveH

Professionals have gotten us into this mess, HomeBoy. It seems that people are self-interested no matter what their profession (Eureka!).
The only real solution is to cut our Federal Government back to their Constitutionally mandated size (as originally intended), and then go to work on the State Governments. Government should exist to protect us from force and fraud, and not much else. And I don’t mean the expanded current legal version of fraud. I’m talking about somebody intentionally lying about the product they are selling.

Please note that GE’s coal plants are not being effected, strange?

No, if you understand whats going on then its as clear as the nose on your face. We have a the NWO running this nation Barrys budd Jeff from GE gets special treatment. What about the 2000 plus companys that don’t have to use O care… Note Nancy PigOsee’s companys Dole, and Sunkissed, they get special favors from Barry Soetoro.
Note, that this is the same way Hitler took over Germany in the 1930′s.

I have said it before and I will say it again Hitler was the Blue Print for the end game of the New World Order, note the following.

Hitler claimed he was building a NEW WORLD ORDER.
A ONE World Government, called Germania.

He was building a Master race of people, note UN Agend 21 speaks of the same program.

Hitler spoke of Hope and Change for a New Germany the Shining City on the hill that the whole world would look up to.

Hitler used every group to his advantage, the UnEmpolyed got free food, Beer, and a home, they become whats known as the SA, SS, NSKK, and he built a 3.5 million man army from them.
Think Government aid people, see how that fits the puzzel.

Hilter took away the guns from the general public and unless you were a solid member of the NSDAP you were not allowed to own let alone have a gun.

Hilter set in motion a group of people that all Germans could hate and take their vengeance out on. Now compair that with whats going on here in the USA today, Hate the Republicans, hate Christians, Hate anyone who is differant, Hate big business, Hate white’s, Hate Blacks, Hate browns, Hate Asians, wow can you see the picture yet?

Hitler took away the German Republic’s Constitution, then replaced it with his NWO laws and rules.

    • Sirian

TIME I agree with what you’ve said fully! Just the other night I watched a program – part 1, “Hitler, the Rise”. It portrayed every move of what Hitler did to achieve his dream of a NWO/Germania. What was most disturbing was seeing how very, very similar of what took place over seventy years ago is reoccurring once more. Only this time there are so many other players in the game which in turn keeps everyone confused. Exactly what they prefer. With all the different players doing so many different things, at the same time, it is extremely difficult to stay on top of what is happening in its entirety. The coal industry is but one of so many more that are quietly standing in line to be either eliminated or taken control of completely. In simple terms, over several decades, the American body has been quietly yet meticulously infected with a plague – (progressives/socialists/marxists/fascists/environmentalists) and so far the millions of mushrooms that our people have become don’t fully understand the actual threat to them that exists. Once again, that’s where “we the people” must step up to playing both a very effective defense and extremely effective offense game with the plague!! Be it hard ball or soft ball, we must all come to the trying realization of what’s taking place and not allow it to come into being any further. I became very, very tired of being a mushroom years ago.

I had posted an almost identical comment before I read TIME’s. This is something I have said for a long time. Obama & Hitler are both mass hypnotists.

      • mark

Right except one started a world war that killed 60 million people including millions of innocent Jewish and Slavic civilians deliberately crammed into gas chambers, while the other tried to give poor and working class people health care. Except for that slight difference, they are exactly the same.

        • DaveH

I wish we had time to wait around and prove you wrong, Mark, but by then it will be too late. Take your blinders off. Obama is not giving anybody healthcare. I would be fine with it if he was. Obama is taking money from other people to give that healthcare. It will be anything but Free with thousands of Government bureaucrats sucking the life out of the system.
Don’t you think the leaders of all those destitute countries around the world promise their citizens good things? Do you think Hitler said “Follow me and I will exterminate the Jews, kill anybody else who dares to speak against me, conquer enough countries to piss off the world, and for the second time incite the world to crush our country”?

Lots of politicians take advantage of economic hard times to come to office. Ronald Reagan for instance who constantly talked about the United States as a shining city upon a hill from John Winthrop’s 1629 speech on the Arbela in Massachusetts Bay. Reagan also talked alot about hope and morning in America during the hard times of the early 1980s when UE rose to over 10% in 1983 two years into his adminstration. But there is a clear distinction between those who are elected by large democratic majorities and adher to continuous ongoing democratic elections and principles vs. dictators like Hitler who never received more than 32% of the vote (Obama received 53% in 2008; Reagan got 50.7% in 1980) and then immediately cancelled all future elections and shut down the Reichstag legislature after the staged fire there in 1934. Hitler also had a racist program to kill and imprison all racial inferiors. The idea of Barak Obama imprisoning and killing millions of non-Aryan minorities is too ludicrous to entertain. Obama never attempted to shut down the U.S. Congress or cancel all future elections. He abided with the large scale defeat of the Democrats in the 2010. He has never declared martial law or suspended freedom of speech, of religion, of the press, the right to bear arms, freedom of assembly – note the large Tea Party anti-Obama rallies in DC and all around the country. These are all healthy manifestations of a functioning democracy. After a little more than one year in office Hitler had removed all personal freedoms from the German people and totally controlled the media through the state-run Ministry of Propaganda of Joseph Goebbels. Can anyone imagine Adolf Hitler tolerating a network like FOX that would criticized his policies morning, noon, and night. Or Hitler allowing huge Tea Party demonstrations in Berlin and across Germany. Of course not, he arrested and killed all journalist that criticized his adminstration and he would have shot down in the streets by the thousands any popular demonstrators against this government. Look what Hitler did to the White Rose movement in Munich after the 1943 Nazi defeat at Stalingrad. President Obama on the other hand has allowed all of this popular dissent against his administration to flourish as is its right under the Constitution. Obama has not seized any U.S. citizens guns, he has not banned demonstrations, he has not suspended Congress, he has not cancelled elections, he has not shut down newspapers, radio stations, or t.v. networks like FOX. All of which Hitler did. While Obama has done none of this. It is disturbing to read all these paranoid delusions regarding Obama’s grand conspiracy none of which ever comes to pass, on so many blogs today. If you don’t like Obama simply vote against him on Nov. 6 2012. But don’t compare him to Hitler when he meets zero of the criterion that characterized that mass-murdering tyrant who deliberately started a war that killed 60 million human beings, among them tens of millions of so called “non-Aryan” minorities such as Jews, Slavs, gypsies, and homosexuals. The idea that Obama would ever do anything even remotely resembling such horrific, mass murdering policies is a delusional fantasy.

“Obama never attempted to shut down the U.S. Congress or cancel all future elections.”

Not YET! His “internal security force”, as well funded and equipped as the US military, is hidden away in the ObamaCare bill. Empty FEMA camps built to keep people IN are standing at the ready. He will try to disarm us by executive order and UN mandate. Then he can proceed.

Fortunately, those blue helmets make fine targets.

The UN is a joke. It is an impotent organization that has no power, the laughing stock of the world and every U.S. barroom. Anything they pass including Agenda 21 is a joke. In 1967 the UN passed two powerful resolutions that demanded Israel get off the West Bank. Forty-four years later Israel is still on the West Bank. Israel has 10,000 times more of its citizens living there than in 1967. So much for the dreaded, all powerful UN and its plans. All the blue helmets combined couldn’t defeat the Monaco traffic police. BUT OH MY GOD WE HAVE TO FEAR THE UN!!! Their only function is to gin up paranoia among already paranoid right-wingers world wide. Tens of millions of Americans have been taken at gunpoint to FEMA camps? Or they WILL BE! Oh, really? Yeah right! The NAFTA Superhighway! These are all right-wing, on-line, urban legends. As for an expansion of federal police power, my God, the Bush adminstration(2001-2009) vastly increased the police and coercive, covert power of the federal gov’t to a degree never witnessed before except during the American Civil War but of course not a single Tea Partier spoke a word of protest against the Bush/Cheney program. It included the 2001 Patriot Act, an incredible expansion of federal police power including Guantanamo Bay and Abu Gharib torture, a mercenary Blackwater Army, black ops, black sites, redactions, etc. Only cowardly, unpatriotic, left wingers like Code Pink spoke out against that! Proud conservative Americans stood by their white Texan president when he did profound damage to our Constitution (two undeclared wars included). But when a black liberal president wins the election, he is trying to subvert our rights and destroy our Constitution. Where were all you guys in 2001-2009 when Bush/Cheney created a secret government-within-a- government? Oh, that was to go after Muslims, so that makes it OK? They also doubled the national debt in eight years ($5.5 trillion to $10 trillion). Reagan tripled the national debt in eight years! ($900 billion in 1981 to $2.6 trillion in 1989). This is a remarkable double standard. Meanwhile condemn Obama for the things he IS GOING TO DO: round up millions, take away all Americans’ guns, cancel elections. Of course he never ACTUALLY does any of this. BUT HE IS ALWAYS JUST ABOUT TO DO IT. That a wonderful concept of jurisprudence, impeach a man for what HE MIGHT DO. I AM GOING TO COMMIT some horrible crime, so that means I am definitely guilty of it. You guys wouldn’t even qualify for jury duty on a parking ticket charge. HE MIGHT HAVE PARKED IN FRONT OF THE HYDRANT. He never actually did but HE WAS GOING TO!

          • DaveH

The Federal Government 200 years ago also had very limited power, limited by the Constitution. But persistent power-trippers kept chipping away until it became the behemoth that it is today.
Don’t kid yourself, Mark. The United Nations is just a stone’s throw away from trampling our Sovereignty. All that is necessary for them to accomplish that is a large number of apathetic citizens. Power trippers rarely make dramatic changes overnight. They can’t unless they just don’t like living. No, the worst changes come gradually, a little at a time, taking advantage of the fact that most people won’t resist small irritating changes.

Obama’s “internal security force as well funded and equipped as the U.S. military?!!” You mean they have 10,000 tanks, 12 aircraft carriers, 6,000 combat jets, 15,000 Bradleys, and 4000 combat helicopters, as well as a budget of $650 billion (current U.S. defense budget)”hidden” within the $870 billion health care bill passed last year. “Hidden?” Nobody noticed it, a $650 billion item in a $870 billion bill. When people make delusional, undocumented, ludicrous off-the-wall statements like this how can you expect anyone to take you seriously? Obama has a secret security force with a larger budget and as much equipment as the U.S. military?!! You’re completely off your rocker?!!! And John Boehner no doubt owns 50,000 secret golf courses and 712,000 secret tennis courses, and Tim Giethner has a secret expense fund of $900 billion authorized every year by Congress that is larger than the entire Social Security budget?! I mean you just make this crazy stuff up as you go along because voices are telling you this, or you found it on some crackpot internet site? You guys will believe ANYTHING, swallow ANYTHING, repeat ANY CRAZED NON-FACTUAL LIE! Michelle Obama is Hitler’s secret daughter! Mitch McConnell is a lifelong member of the Mafia! Any cuckoo clock bald-face lie like the last two statements – and believe it! If you guys seriously represent the opposition then Obama will be reelected next year which would be bad for everyone but better than allowing crazed paranoid loons like yourself to elect anyone!

Then Mark, you need to re~educate yourself a whole lot more – start with (UN Agenda 21) of what was written in 1992 and has been slowly being build as a sub structure from that time forward.

Thus Barrys, programs as noted all fall within the structure of UN Agenda 21, > Health care, Cap & Trade, Internet control, at the time the UN A 21 was written it was total Media control, Political Correctness,> And coming soon to you by way of Barry Soetoro, “”Exectiuve Orderes”" that will take your guns away, as well as total control over the Internet, and countless new wars, and the new dollar called the Amerio Barry has added over $4 Trillion dollars in debt in just 2 1/2 years.>

GWB’s additions to the UN Agenda 21, No Child Left behind, the Patriot act written in 1993 by Joe Biden, Note Barrys crew has not removed this nor even tried. The NAU, 2006 thats GWB’s crown jewel, NAU is the NWO’s North American Union. And GWB,s Golden Crown, 9/11 that aided in the cover up of a missing $3.7 Trillion dollars that the media brought up just a few weeks before 9/11, followed by two wars that are to never end and will expand into more new wars, note whats going on in the middle east right now.

Bill Clinton, Nafta, this is the base to the NAU, and is noted with in the UN Agenda 21 frame work to bring about the single state of the NAU.
Bill Clinton also brought about the total expansion of the Federal Government into Law enforcment this was done while all the while the American public cheered him, he then was able to beefed up the DEA, ATF, DOJ, FBI, NSA, and opened the CIA to a new breed of stock that creates new wars all over the globe.

And how do Ugandan troops ever get to my front door? Uganda which is 8000 miles from the U.S. has no Navy, no long-range airforce, no sea or airlift capacity. The United States’ coasts, on the other hand, are guarded by the world’s largest Navy and Coast Guard, supplemented by the world’s most efficient, modern, and largest Air Force and Air National Guard, not to mention nearly a million Army reservist and Army National Guard personnel. The UN has no independent airforce, navy, army, or modern equipment. They rely totally on member states volunteering their forces for UN missions. This is the reason the UN is a joke and why all of their military missions have failed. The UN has no sovereign military power and must go begging to fourth-rate nations like Uganada for a company or battalion or two to serve on one of its peace-keeping missions in Africa which naturally always fail. If you truly believe that your U.S. community is under threat from a Ugandan military invasion, you don’t need a new president; you need a doctor.

          • DaveH

How do they get to your front door? Are you kidding? They will be invited, of course, by our own leaders. It is a well-known military tactic of totalitarians to send their troops to locations far from their own families, so that they will have little empathy for the people they must kill.

          • mark

Right Dave H, but this is what conservative Republican President George W. Bush did! He sent hundreds of thousands of U.S. troops overseas to Iraq and Afghanistan to kill foreign citizens. Bush did this. And not a single Tea Partier said a word of protest. You accept it all like sheep because he was a white Texan conservative killing Muslims. That makes it OK. When Obama authorized airstrikes in Libya, he is a murderer. George W. for killing tens and tens of thousands more in Iraq looking for the famous, nonexistent WMD is a hero, a patriot! Not a single protest from conservatives about what he did on the White House Lawn, Abu Gharib, torture, the Patriot Act, wiretaps, email reads. The Right bought it all, hook, line, and sinker.

Hilter set in motion a group of people that all Germans could hate and take their vengeance out on.”

You need to read the first “book” of The Rise and Fall of The Third Reich. Hitler did not set in motion the hate of a group of people. That hate was very evident in the writings of many european commentators. What Hitler did was use his natural ability as both an organizer and speaker to realize the goals of those writers.

Writers? OK, shall we say Sol Alinsky, Karl Marx etc. Does this sound feasible? It most certainly appears as such to me.

  • OldSully

Obama is just one of an army of Saul Alinsky Marxists whose ultimate goal is to destroy the U.S. from within using every means possible. Van Jones, one of his comrades and former czars made this very clear in his speeches including creating conditions ripe for massive civil unrest. Obama, a puppet of Marxist George Sorros is succeeding.

His energy policy will force the price of commodities including food higher due to increased production and transportation costs.

His heavy handed regulation against business enacted in the last Congress destroys any incentives for business to make capital improvements and hire new employees.

Obama care will limit health care access and cost everyone more for what they do get.

The huge debt will mean most tax dollars will go to pay for interest. FED Chairman Bernacke is increasing the money supply well beyond our productivity to support it ( monetary inflation) in order to fund this spending because there are not enough suckers to buy all the treasury notes. This will destroy the value of what little savings people have including their pension funds.

We may reach the point of no return well before 2012 if we have not already reached it. As for me, I am investigating the various means available for protecting my family. These include making provision here in the U.S. and having a place to go outside the country.

I agree, I tell all my conservative friends, leave now, there is no hope. America is finished. It literally is the end of the world. When I look out my window I see nice houses, roads, restaurants, a struggling but still functioning and largely peaceful society but it is all an illusion; we are actually finished. Don’t believe what your own two eyes tell you, that is a lie. Only believe this blog and FOX News; they are telling you the truth. This nonsense that America will come back from this recession like it has from the past 27 recessions is a lie. We are doomed. All of us. It’s over. Not one American will survive the year. There will be no more elections, no more freedom, no more human life here, more important than all that, no more guns. So go. There is of course only one problem, every other country you go to will be less free than America, more corrupt with higer tax rates, and of course they are all in recession too. But good luck. You should abandon America for she has abandoned you. You are making the right choice. Believe me. Signed, Local Reelect Obama Committee, Chief Foreign Relocation Facilitator

      • DaveH

Funny, when I look out my window, I see no environmental problems, I see no healthcare problems, I see no downtrodden Union Workers, I see no starving people, and I certainly haven’t seen any attacking Libyans. Yet you Liberals are playing Chicken Little every day — The sky is falling, the sky is falling, we must spend more of other peoples’ money!
And you have the nerve to dis other people for worrying about the future?

        • eddie47d

But watch out for those attacking Iranians! Boo! Look behind you there is one now!!!

Here’s an idea whose time has come. The Anointed One, it seems, has declared war on “certain” types of union employees. For now, you’re a good union member and worth having around, or you’re a coal miner.
Even a progressive will have a tough time getting this one through his head. After all, when you’re SUPPOSED to vote for a ‘union-lover’ and that ‘union-lover’ turns out to be a UNION-HATER (you get the picture).
So who’s next on the ‘you’re OK, but HE sucks’ list? I’d like to nominate the folks in Detroit. It was proven many years ago that slow learners can put together cars. Since union salaries make it tough for Detroit to compete in a world market, then it’s time for union types in Detroit to be ‘elsewhere.’
Then, it will be time to put another group of union types on the chopping block. So which union will be the last one standing?
Progressives, you sure can pick ‘em. When one of your own acts like a worker-hating CAPITALIST, life sure gets interesting. Enjoy, muthas.

    • JeffH

sc, in a normal world you’d be right about the coal union thing, but progressives don’t operate with a “normal” line of thought.

Case in point, Libya…Patriot Act…Pakistan…they ripped Bush/Cheney over the wars and the Patriot Act but when O’man expands on them…it’s justified…for humanity.

      Go figure?

      • DaveH

Their gaze is too firmly fixed on the trough to see what’s going on around them.

        • JeffH

          :)

  • JimRed

Nothing surprising about this; he promised it as a candidate. The goal is the “fundamental transformation” of the United States and the “old ways” must be destroyed to make way for his Marxist paradise.

  • Les

“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship.”

The “I want, I need” crowd will vote for whoever promises them the most. Everyone needs to read up on the big difference between a Republic and a Democracy before it’s too late. Personally we are just days from the fall of the US of A. The ones running this country in the ground to further their own goals and personal gain are knowingly committing treason per their own oath to follow & obey the Constitution of the US of A.

    • mark

No, this one will last longer because it is a system in which the super rich pay virtually no taxes and none of their children ever serve in the military. Don’t worry they will fight to keep this system muddling along especially since it is so easy to mobilize tens of millions to back the non-tax-paying super rich by simply waving the flag, talking about our sacred Constitution and our freedoms, and then sending millions from the working class and poor to die in endless, mindless, unwinnable wars. But they’re all fightin’ for freedom! That’s all that counts our freedom, while the taxpayers shovel trillions and trillions to the rich (the banker bail-out) as well as a several billion to the EVIL, IMMORAL, POOR PEOPLE, enemies of our freedoms and our sacred, slaveholder-written Constitution. This system will be around a lot longer than one thinks, because thousands of suckers are born every minute, dying to get into camouflauged gear – for OUR FREEDOMS!

      • DaveH

So, the Super Rich pay “virtually no taxes”? I suppose you have a reference for that statement, Mark?
        Here’s mine:
        http://www.ntu.org/tax-basics/who-pays-income-taxes.html

        • Karolyn

Dave – What about Warren Buffet who wants to pay more taxes. He is a real patriot and knows that those in his income tax bracket are not paying enough. They should all think more about their country and less about their own fat wallets!

          • independant thinker

If Buffet is so eager to pay more in taxes all he has to do is ignore some of his deductions and pay the increased taxes. So far I have not seen/heard of that happening so he must not want to pay more just wants to give lip service to the concept so he will look good.

      • DaveH

Who do you think the Super-Rich support in office, Mark? Can you say Obama?

    In response to:

“Oddly, the Democrats — who pointed to fuel costs nearly $1 per gallon lower as proof that President George W. Bush was …… — have fallen silent as Obama’s lack of a coherent energy policy has … force the nation’s economy off the road….”

Yes, how unusual that they should be playing politics instead of doing what is right for America.

    @ all participants

I enjoy so much reading the posts and comments although I end by being totally depressed. Do you know how many in this country actually know what is going on? Do you know how many care? It is really scary.

    • Les

Do you think the average US citizen participates in actively educating themselves? Most follow the rest of the herd over the cliff, that’s why they’re called Sheeple.

      • Raggs

        Amen… Les!

  • Tim AZ

Oldsully there’s no where to run, this is happening world wide. That leaves you with two options. The first option would be to grab your ankles and hope they move on to the next victim quickly giving you enough time to prepare for the next assault. The second option which is my choice, is to make a stand and resist until the bitter end. At least the second option allows you to die with dignity, rather than with a firm grasp of your ankles. Had enough yet?

    • Lost in Paradise

I am with you Tim, and anyone that feels the same. I would rather die trying than to simply let them have it. At least they would need to work for it, and give their blood.

  • JimRed

“Do you know how many in this country actually know what is going on? Do you know how many care?”

Too many are only concerned with which star is dancing tonight or who got kicked off the island. They get their carefully managed “news” from government approved sources and have not a clue about Agenda 21, Cap n’ Trade, the CLEAR Act, Obamacare, etc. When the shooting starts it will be too late for them to get a clue. They will likely be among the informers we have to deal with. Big penalty for mere cluelessness.

    • Alex

You sound like you must live in Texass.

      • Dennis48e

You are just jealous because you do not live there in Texas’ vibrant growing economy.

    • Les

It’s interesting how each and everyone of those “ideas” is about stealing control or money or both from others. The “elite” think they are smarter than you and that you shouldn’t be allowed to control your own future. They need your wealth to administer this very necessary control over you. You after all would ruin their version of utopia. – ROTFLMAO

If you think you can control something, you typically find out too late that you didn’t have enough information to actually follow through with your scheme, just like Hitler and many other dictators.

  • Lost in Paradise

Your posts are very interesting indeed. You are all like a group of lemmings. You have been lead to the slaughter, and will do nothing to save yourselves. The American Dream is gone, and we are very close to becoming the United Socialist States of America. It there any hope or enough couragious people to remove this government and save our Republic?? Did you ever read the Constitution, the Bill of Rights,or any other documents pertaining to the founding of the U.S.A?

OUr founding documents tell us that it is our right and our Duty to remove a government like we now have. It is spelled out clearly. Instead, you little children still believe in the “Vote Fairey. THat alone is the biggest and most succesful Scam the government has going for it. Truth is our government is a dismal failure. When was the last time you read about the government actually doing something for the citizens of this country? When the budget needs to be balanced whose shoulders does that always fall on? It should be falling on our supposed leaders, and the foreign budget, which is larger than the domestic one.

At any rate, I hope you are ready for another 4 years of Obama and his cronies, because he will get elected again.

    • Sirian

Lost in Paradise, Uh, it seems as if you may have read further up you would’ve run into the same basic statements concerning the Constitution. I unfortunately had to remind “home boy” of this. So please, read the entire transgression of comments to stay in touch with what has and has not been said. Not condemning you, you simply need to read a bit more before opening your mouth.

    • Raggs

Lost… I fear you are correct about oblama being “re-elected” if you want to call being usurped an election…. The sad thing is that your are more than likely correct about the sheeple in this country being blinded by the water-walker… But… make no mistake many of us had rather be found with bullet holes in us than retreat to a dictator.

      • mark

Wow, another gun-toting tough guy. You guys are all so brave, you give me the shivers. Speaking about usurping elections, what about Bush and the hanging chads in Florida in 2000? Oh, I forgot that one broke your way. Some electoral corruption is OK but when it elects the wrong kind of president, it violates our sacred, slaveholder-written Constitution.

        • 45caliber

What about the Bush election? Every count they made gave him the vote. Even with the hanging chads. I think after they disallowed many of his votes in the tenth recount or so, someone said Gore might have won but that was long after the courts said that every vote had to count and not just those that counted for Gore.

        • JC

If you have a problem with the Constitution Mark, its your problem.
And BTW yes we intend to enforce it.

A very moving ode to treason. You would make a fine Confederate. Too bad you were born a century and a half too late. You sound like a communist. They don’t believe in the “Vote Fairy” either and they too believe in the violent overthrow of the government. That’s their MO. Congrats

      • DaveH

You don’t know anything about the Confederacy, Mark. You know only what you learned from the victors who wrote the history books. The Southerners were a lot more Principled than were the Northerners.

Word is that to compensate for the lost mining jobs the Bummer is going to marry the Unemployment office and the Welfare office so you can get your dollars and food stamps at the same time. He says this will create 6 million new jobs, will that help the 10 million lost jobs. Do you think the Coal Miners Union members will listen when they are told to vote in 2012 for the Bummer?

    • 45caliber

They will have to vote for him if they expect an increase in their welfare benefits.

    • Raggs

I haven’t heard of that one yet… So in order to “create” 5 government jobs, oblama has to kill 20 million private sector jobs?.. Granny has to have somebody search her diaper is guess.

  • 45caliber

It isn’t that he is trying to harm the coal industry. It’s just that he sold the coal to China or another country and can’t allow Americans to actually dig it up and use it. He might have to refund some of the money he was paid if we do use it.

    • 45caliber

Just like he’s already done all our oil.

    • Raggs

Hummmm…. So let me see if I have that statement correct…

Shooting America in the foot doesn’t hurt the coal industry?

      • 45caliber

I didn’t say he wasn’t harming the coal industry. He certainly is. But that isn’t his real intention. After all, harming them for that goal alone won’t put money in his pocket. Selling it, however, will. And per liberal belief, doesn’t all such things such as minerals, water, land, etc belong to the government and not the people? And isn’t he the head of the government and therefore doesn’t he own all of it? So it is okay if he sells some of it, isn’t it?

        • Raggs

Looks like we may have came out of the same barrel of fish .45

The so-called idiot in chief “speach” was yet another I did and ME on the back of America to the likes of a leech sucking from a dead body.

Yeah let’s all give this fool billions more in credit so that he can piss it away to the unions… Well I guess a union needs to “create” government employees and voter’s…. Well prehaps I get a little pissed off when I see oblama, but he deserves much more than what I have in mind

        • Raggs

Have we came to the point where we need an excuse to justify the wrong?

  • the77surfer

This is exactly why I normally do the exact opposite of what “MY” union officers want, I have the mind and FREEDOM to think for myself. I’ve also come to find out who my union brothers really are illiterate, convicts, who will stab their OWN BROTHERS in the back, given the opportunity. It’s only taken me 2 of the 4 years to figure these people out. Some of the ones who can read, don’t have any comprehension of what they just read. The ratio is about reading/comprehension 15%, reading/no comprehension 45%, illiterate/illegal 40% it’s a sad situation perpetrated by evil glory hounds. I’m getting out of my union because of all that feel good back stabbing that I’ve received by my fellow brothers. I really wonder what they will do for a living with the coal fired power plants closing, the “NUCLEAR” power plants in the powers-that-be crosshairs to either be closed or no new ones being built. WAKE UP !! PEOPLE take back OUR COUNTRY from the BUFFOONS in office now.

    • Raggs

Well you can forget about oblama’s wind energy it will harm too many grasshoppers and birds… So go to the Amish and learn how to make yourself a candle ( I like the scented ones, but I’m sure they will have to be outlawed because they may offend the criminal that is breaking into my house )… Oh and BTW, just wait until oblama-noncare kicks you in the nutt’s.

  • Thinking About

Just.. how the hell do people like you get so freakin stupid?

    • Raggs

If.. But you should be that stupid…

Raggs, you must be a Christian. These are the exact words Jesus used over and over again in the Bible: “A uselees bunch of bull-crap lazy M-Fer’s. As far as I’m concerned they can all starve.” You’re a God fearing, patriotic, Christian American. I salute you! I can tell by your Christian words and sentiments. You’re no Muslim like our rotten president. Congratulations!

      • Raggs

So funny… Just because I think people should control themselves instead of a reliance on the government you throw a coward ass remark like that?
Get off of the tit and grow some.

Michael Hudson is a highly-regarded economist. He is a Distinguished Research Professor at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, who has advised the U.S., Canadian, Mexican and Latvian governments as well as the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. He is a former Wall Street economist at Chase Manhattan Bank who also helped establish the world’s first sovereign debt fund.
    Hudson says:

    ▪ The European debt crisis is really financial warfare by the banks
    ▪ Indeed, the banks are in warfare against the rest of society

In a separate interview, Hudson says:
    ▪ What’s going on in Greece is exactly what’s going to happen in America in a couple of weeks.
    ▪ The big banks are forcing their bad debts on government
    ▪ They are also forcing governments to sell off national assets so the banks can install a “neo-feudalism”:

As I documented last month in a post entitled “America Is Being Raped … Just Like Greece and Other Countries”, America is in fact being subjected to the same type of plundering as Greece and Ireland.

    Professor Hudson explained in 2008:
You have to realize that what they’re trying to do is to roll back the Enlightenment, roll back the moral philosophy and social values of classical political economy and its culmination in Progressive Era legislation, as well as the New Deal institutions. They’re not trying to make the economy more equal, and they’re not trying to share power. Their greed is (as Aristotle noted) infinite. So what you find to be a violation of traditional values is a re-assertion of pre-industrial, feudal values. The economy is being set back on the road to debt peonage. The Road to Serfdom is not government sponsorship of economic progress and rising living standards, it’s the dismantling of government, the dissolution of regulatory agencies, to create a new feudal-type elite.

    I reported last year:
Foreign Policy magazine ran an article entitled “The Next Big Thing: Neomedievalism”, arguing that the power of nations is declining, and being replaced by corporations, wealthy individuals, the sovereign wealth funds of monarchs, and city-regions.

As I noted in 2009, a leading progressive economist that the true purpose of the bank rescue plans is “a massive redistribution of wealth to the bank shareholders and their top executives”.

As the wholly non-partisan Australian economist Steve Keen notes:
    ▪ “This is the biggest transfer of wealth in history”, as the giant banks have handed their toxic debts from fraudulent activities to the countries and their people
    ▪ The big banks blew bubbles – using fraud – because that’s the only way they could make obscene profits

Indeed, this isn’t the “Great Recession”, it’s the Great Bank Robbery. The big banks have pillaged and looted the rest of the world.

And it is not only Greece which is losing its sovereignty … the big banks have turned America into a banana republic as well. Remember, the trillions in bailouts went to banks, not Main Street … and a large percentage of the bailouts went to foreign banks (and see this). And so did most of money from the second round of quantitative easing.

Indeed, the warfare by the big banks is global.

Postscript: If this sounds like breathless class warfare against the financial sector, remember:
    ▪ Inequality largely caused the Great Depression and the current economic crisis
    ▪ The father of modern economics – Adam Smith – didn’t believe that inequality should be a taboo subject.
    ▪ Warren Buffet, one of America’s most successful capitalists and defenders of capitalism, points out:
There’s class warfare, all right, but it’s my class, the rich class, that’s making war ….
    ▪ Conservatives – as well as liberals – are against rampant inequality. But all Americans underestimate the amount of inequality in our country.

    JUST FOR FUN ;)

Guy goes into a bar, there’s a robot bartender.

The robot says, “What will you have?”

    The guy says, “Martini.”

The robot brings back the best martini ever and says to the man, “What’s your IQ?”

    The guy says,” 168.”

The robot then proceeds to talk about physics, space exploration and medical technology.

The guy leaves, but he is curious…So he goes back into the bar.

The robot bartender says, “What will you have?”

    The guy says, “Martini.”

Again, the robot makes a great martini gives it to the man and says, “What’s your IQ?”

    The guy says, “100.”

The robot then starts to talk about Nascar, Budweiser and John Deere tractors.

The guy leaves, but finds it very interesting, so he thinks he will try it one more time.

He goes back into the bar.

The robot says, “What will you have?”

The guy says, “Martini,” and the robot brings him another great martini.

The robot then says, “What’s your IQ?”

The guy says, “Uh, about 50.”

The robot leans in real close and says, “So, you people still happy you voted for Obama?”
