Texas Anti-Groping Bill Back Before Legislature

June 22, 2011 by

Texas Anti-Groping Bill Back Before Legislature

The Texas anti-groping bill that died after the thugocracy that is President Barack Obama’s so-called Justice Department threatened to make Texas a no-fly zone is up for consideration in a special legislative session. This proves Texas Governor Rick Perry will run for President and is also a ploy by Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst — a former CIA operative who worked hand-in-glove with Obama to kill the bill in the regular session — to cement his bid to replace retiring Republican Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison in 2012.

We pointed out here the Third World practices employed by the illegitimate President and his racist Attorney General against Texas’ efforts to halt the Transportation Security Administration’s gropefest/pornshow activities that make criminals out of traveling Americans.

Neither Perry nor Dewhurst wanted this legislation to pass. But Texans have pressed the Legislature, and activists have confronted Perry at book signings about bringing up the legislation — that would criminalize “intrusive touching” by TSA agents without probable cause — in the special session. The bill would subject TSA agents to a year in jail and a fine of $4,000 if they “touch the anus, sexual organ, buttocks, or breast of another person, even through that person’s clothing for the purpose of granting access to a building or a form of transportation,” according to a report by WOAI News Radio.

As the bill nears passage (it had enough votes to pass in the regular session), let’s see if more threats are issued by the Administration. I’m thinking Chicago-style politics won’t play well with regular Texans — but the political elites in the State may again be cowed.

Americans need to recognize that Perry is not the small-government conservative the mainstream media make him out to be, but is actually a Bilderberg-controlled plant that will give the global cabal two horses in the GOP Presidential contest (the other is Mitt Romney).

The same can be said of Dewhurst, who in addition to working for the CIA held a post at the U.S. State Department and is, therefore, the ultimate political elitist. It was his lobbying behind the scenes that pulled the rug out from under Texas Senate Republicans and ultimately led to the bill’s death the first time around.

Now Bob I have some questions for you. How is it that this president is illegitimate, what makes the attorney general a racist in your eyes, when did the justice department become thugs? And how does your comment not make you what you call them? I find it amusing how this man (president can be called every name known to god by everyone who seems to think they know god and still call themselves righteous Christians. I remember an idiot named kanye West saying former president Bush did not like black people and how sick I was that he was afforded a chance to make a fool of himself in front of millions of Americans, but I guess what he was actually doing was setting a trend for conservatives. Accusing someone of being racist is a very serious charge and when not true is also hateful. There is nothing wrong with expressing your dislike for the politician he can be a should be criticized just like all presidents.

      Dear ron,

Follow the links in the article, read the evidence presented there, and I think your questions will be answered.

      Best wishes,

Bob Livingston, Thank you so much for writing articles about these thug imposters posing as politicians. Rick Perry and David Dewhurst are just two of the most recent examples.

Last night I was reading the latest issue of Texas Monthly magazine. TM does an annual review of the best and worst politicos in Texas, and the article mentioned this TSA bill in the Texas legislature. The article stated that if this bill passes in Texas, many other states will follow with the same or similar legislation against the TSA.

Apparently, one of the sponsors of the bill, Rep. Dan Patrick (he is my rep) knew almost immediately that the ex-CIA black slime and federale wanna be (a.k.a. David Dewhurst) had infiltrated to attempt to kill the bill, in spite of wide spread support on both sides. The article stated that Dan Patrick is so angry, he has started an exploratory committee to run for Kay Bailey Hutchinson’s senate seat, which is apparently coveted by Dewhurst. LOL -!! Dan Patrick rocks.

He is illegitimate because he is not a natural born citizen according to the Constitution. Get a copy and read it…his father was African and his mother was only 18…the majic number is 21. Maybe, and I say maybe, he was born in Hawaii is is a “naturalized citizen”, but he is not a “natural born” citizen as both parents must be citizens.

      • JohnK

Hawai’i is not legally a state of the union. It should have been given back to the people of Hawai’i, but never was.

        http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/HAWAII/hawaii.php

so if Obama was born in Hawai’i, he still isn’t a citizen of the US.
BTW, I am wondering when the US will give Hawai’i back?

        • BimBam

Give Hawaii back??? And what make it worthless again???

The Caucasians gave it value and when they do that you guys always want it back!!!

          • JC

            Define Value. ;)

        • Palin12

I beg to differ. I was born in Hawaii and I know a little more of it’s history. The Admission Act of 1959 is a statute enacted by the United States Congress and signed into law by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The act dissolved the Territory of Hawaii and established Hawaii as the 50th State of the Union. They are represented by the 50th star on the US flag and have two US Senators just like every other state.

    • Conservative at Birth

You can’t be serious? Eric Holder and Obama are both racists.

      • BimBam

Nahh! They’re not racist. They just hate white folks. That’s all… sleep well my friend.

    • Dan

      Thuggery…
That is what I would call the Anti American activities perpetrated by high level government officials in Operation Gunrunner/Fast and Furious.
It is obvious to a reasonable person, that when Obama’s leaders are pushing for an UN treaty to ban personal ownership of guns (state department/Hillary) and pushing for “reining in of gun dealers arming the Mexican cartels” while secretly ordering these gun dealers to allow the sales to Mexican cartels, leading to the murders of hundred of Mexican citizens (act of war) and murder of US border agent which brought this all to light.
Look up Project Gunrunner, Daryl Issa, fast and furious

    • jibbs

Ron, the parents must be two natural born U.S. citizens, obama’s father in from kenya, and a british citizen, that make him illegal to potus. Wake up !!, do some research before you open your trap!!

Bob, I live in Texas and happen to like Rick Perry. His policies are one of the reasons we moved here. We could have went anywhere in the world but chose Texas. I’m shocked that you told the other reader to follow the links to back up your claims, but provide no such links about Gov. Perry.

You also didn’t comment on the fact that Obama is part of the bilderburgs Via Soros and Hillary. I invite people to go look at Rick Perry’s record, read his many Veto’s that does not back up your claim of him being big government. The fact that the man doesn’t want to make his State a no-fly zone is a pretty good reason to back down and wait for the next election.

We, in Texas, have some of the most anti-big- government laws in the entire union. One recent example;Texas allows it’s private citizens to bake and sell from home without the health department. Big Government? I think not.

    • newspooner

Gov. Perry has generally been on the right side of most issues. However, he strongly advocates forced innoculation of young girls with Gardasil. That alone is enough for me to oppose him for election to anything, especially Presidnet of USA. How about supporting Ron Paul instead of any of the RINOs, semi-conservatives, or other candidates who are incomplete patriots???

      • Elle

Yes, Newspooner, and his brother or brother-in-law owned the company? Something other than looking out for young girls and women. Could money be a factor? This vacine is so wrong, in more ways than one. The big benifits, again go to big Pharmaceuticals.

        • Jana

          Elle,
And thank goodness it didn’t go through.

      Dear Steffanie,

James P. Tucker Jr. of American Free Press and one of the preeminent Bilderberg chasers, reported that Obama was vetted by the Bilderbergers in 2008 and that they also selected Biden as his VP. Tucker has also reported on Perry’s attendance at Bilderberg conferences.

      Best wishes,
      Bob

P.S. I am currently compiling information for a coming column on all the GOP candidates. I am waiting for the field to shake out some more, but the column will pull no punches and will reveal the truth about all the candidates, their flip-flops, lies and ties to the global cabal. It’s sure to ruffle some feathers.

      • Steffanie

Great! I’m happy to see that. I just ask you to please do it without bias. I’ve seen all the biased reporting I can stand. Texas isn’t perfect and neither is Rick Perry, but he could be so much worse. Huntsman is out for me,at this point, Pawlenty is out of for me at this moment, Ron Paul- I’m still not crazy about this foreign policies, but he does have other things I like. So, all I’m asking, please, when you put this article together, do it without bias to any candidate, Sir. Thank you!

        • DaveH

His foreign policies? Do you mean that you think we should be the World’s Policemen? When has that ever worked? And I doubt seriously that our Foreign presence has anything at all to do with our National Security. More likely it is for the security of the Leaders’ power, and their Crony Capitalists’ wealth.

            DaveH,
Foreign policies? I agree with you on that one.We can’t be world policemen.

Actually I think he would stop illegal immigration. That is one foreign policy. Now we must listen for the rest.

You seem to have allot to learn, stick around and by all means keep an open mind.Facts are Facts whether you believe them or not.If you make a mistake in your voting this year you alone will regret not seeing the truth about the history of your perry! There are allot of sites to research and you will be provided them here.Do some research on your own and compare what you have read to what we have read and lets talk about it.You seem like a very pleasant person we only want to inform you and others that there is a shadowy gubmnt working here and you need the facts to make an inform decision, nothing more.

          Steffanie
Also that perry attended a meeting with the bildibergs is against the law,He could face fines and imprisonment for three yrs because of the loagins act.(spell check?)Any way the fact that politicians lie should be reason enough to check them out thoroughly.

          • jibbs

Dan az, I could not find any info. that says it’s against the law for goverment officals to attend Bilderburg meetings. Do you have any links?

          • jibbs

Found it, but it looks like it only applies to the normal citizens and not government officals. But why would you let a State Govenor do bidding for the U.S.?

The Logan Act (18 U.S.C.A. § 953 [1948]) is a single federal statute making it a crime for a citizen to confer with foreign governments against the interests of the United States. Specifically, it prohibits citizens from negotiating with other nations on behalf of the United States without authorization.

Congress established the Logan Act in 1799, less than one year after passage of the Alien and Sedition Acts, which authorized the arrest and deportation of aliens and prohibited written communication defamatory to the U.S. government. The 1799 act was named after Dr. George Logan. A prominent Republican and Quaker from Pennsylvania, Logan did not draft or introduce the legislation that bears his name, but was involved in the political climate that precipitated it.

In the late 1790s, a French trade embargo and jailing of U.S. seamen created animosity and unstable conditions between the United States and France. Logan sailed to France in the hope of presenting options to its government to improve relations with the United States and quell the growing anti-French sentiment in the United States. France responded by lifting the embargo and releasing the captives. Logan’s return to the United States was marked by Republican praise and Federalist scorn. To prevent U.S. citizens from interfering with negotiations between the United States and foreign governments in the future, the Adams administration quickly introduced the bill that would become the Logan Act.

The Logan Act has remained almost unchanged and unused since its passage. The act is short and reads as follows:

Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply, himself or his agent, to any foreign government or the agents thereof for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.

The language of the act appears to encompass almost every communication between a U.S. citizen and a foreign government considered an attempt to influence negotiations between their two countries. Because the language is so broad in scope, legal scholars and judges have suggested that the Logan Act is unconstitutional. Historically, the act has been used more as a threat to those engaged in various political activities than as a weapon for prosecution. In fact, Logan Act violations have been discussed in almost every administration without any serious attempt at enforcement, and to date there have been no convictions and only one recorded indictment.

One example of the act’s use as a threat of prosecution involved the Reverend Jesse Jackson. In 1984 Jackson took well-publicized trips to Cuba and Nicaragua and returned with several Cuban political prisoners seeking asylum in the United States. PresidentRonald Reagan stated that Jackson’s activities may have violated the law, but Jackson was not pursued beyond a threat.

The only Logan Act indictment occurred in 1803. It involved a Kentucky newspaper article that argued for the formation in the western United States of a separate nation allied to France. No prosecution followed.

Jibbs – Up until very recently, it was adamantly denied that Bilderberg even existed. It is super-secret, open only to the elite of the elite, and no one gets invited unless they are willing to be part of the NWO plan.

The very fact of being in attendance is clear evidence that they’ve betrayed America and have joined in the NWO. It is an undeniable act of treason.

It is definitely consorting with foreigners for the overthrow of our Constituion and our nation.

        • Carlucci

Steffanie, it sounds like you are suffering from a case of “RINO-itis”, which, sadly, is afflicting hundreds of thousands or possibly millions of Americans. It is the old “wolf in sheep’s clothing” scenario. You cannot tell the good guys and gals from the bad guys and gals. Just because someone is handsome, says they are “Christian” and “conservative” and write books (or have them ghostwritten) about how “Fed Up” they are, does not mean that they are being truthful about who they really are, and what their true intentions are. Actions always speak louder than words. I was never a fan of Rick Perry because I didn’t trust him. Then his “actions” began to reveal who he really is, with the Gardisil scandal, the Trans Texas Corridor, etc. I watched the debates the last time he ran for governor, and the Libertarian candidate, Debra Medina, was mopping the floor with both status-quo-politics-as-usual-big-spending RINOs Perry and that nitwit Kay Bailey Hutchinson. Debra Medina was getting all of the cheers and applause because everything she said made sense. Then somehow, uber powerful Perry arranged for Mrs. Medina to get “shot down” on Glen Beck’s show. Glen Beck is a big cheerleader for RINOs like Rick Perry, in case you haven’t noticed.

Your comments about vaccines blew my mind. Nobody has to get vaccines, at least not for now. Are you aware that vaccines can cause brain damage and awful diseases like Crohn’s Disease?

As far as your comments about Ron Paul and his foreign policy, let me ask you something. Is it any coincidence that all of this aggression from the middle east started when the U.S. government started sending troops there to infiltrate and bomb their cities and towns? Would you be happy if armed foreign troops were occupying and bombing your city or town? Please tell me that you don’t believe that ridiculous propaganda about “They are attacking us because they hate our freedoms and want to kill us”. If that was really true, why didn’t all of this aggression from them start many decades ago? Has it ever occurred to you that there is a reason why our troops are so far away from America? I will bet you dollars to donuts that the real reason is not to “protect our freedoms here in America”. That makes no sense. In order to protect freedom, that must be done by our military on the ground here in America, guarding our airports and borders. Of course there’s always the scenario that if or WTSHTF, our troops will be so far away, they cannot protect mom, dad, brother, sister, friends and neighbors. The PTB also know that those same soldiers would never follow orders to fire on those same people listed above.

So, Steffanie, my advice to you is always remember that your mind is like a parachute. It works best when opened.

          • Steffanie

You are wrong! Out and Out wrong! In the state of Kansas it is a jail sentence if you do not have your children vaccinated… it is MANDATORY….. even 20 years ago.

Hmmm…..I’m wrong? I don’t know where you got your information, but apparently in Olathe, Kansas, people can opt out of having their kids vaccinated:

            http://www.mamapedia.com/article/vaccinations-3323

I think people in every state can opt out for religious reasons as well. I don’t know why anyone would want to put their kids in public schools anyway, especially if vaccinations are allegedly mandatory. No offense Steffanie, but why do you want to go around believing everything people (especially government people) tell you? I do everything I can to stay away from allopathic “healthcare” providers and would absolutely do the same for my children, if I had any.
BTW – my neighbor next door used to be a pharmaceutical saleswoman. She has never had her kids vaccinated and they are slim, healthy, and beautiful with impeccable manners and sweet dispositions. Oh, yeah – and they’ve always been home schooled.

Remember – think outside the box.

When there are plenty of sites crowing about how great all the politicians are…. why can’t there be bias? We HAVE to have contrast in order to do our homework and decide for ourselves what we believe in. IF EVERYONE offered the same tripe, how would we get to the truth? Yay Bias.

If Texas cuts out the TSA I would hope many states would join in on that one, PLEASE show your spirit Gov Perry and kick the TSA OUT or at the very least… please help to make travelers INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty – and NOT by groping, but by probable cause.

NO it does not make me feel safer to be x-rayed/radiated, groped and vaccinated without CONSENT — it makes me feel that we are one step closer to becoming shuffling constituents of a concentration camp where we are free to eat and work IF we can afford to and PS…. there’s a grope going on at every bus & train station, prom, football game etc etc etc

Governors, like any other politician, are supposed to be earning their salary representing their voters. TX voters DON’T WANT THE THUGS of TSA in their airports or pants.

          • Patty

I have not and will not board a plane until they are gone. The last time I flew (2002?), they let me board with a sterling hook necklace that I could have put 6″ in ones chest but had a problem with the 2 hooks on my bra. Very embarassing.

        • April

Steffanie, How is Bob Livingston being bias? I have read his article and posts twice and he is not slanting toward any candidate on this thread that I see. Actually I would not mind knowing which candidate he favors; altho it is really non of my business. Smiles

      • Christin

        Bob Livingston,

I look forward to your article compiling the positions of the Republican candidates… that will certainly be an eye opener.

I am disappointed to learn Perry had been a Bilderberg attendee especially since I live in TX… Wow, is there no end to the darkness seeping into our American leaders.
Wasn’t Rick Perry the one who approved of Hwy 69 from Mexico to Canada through Texas along the coast? …Borderless North and Central America.

I was wondering if Texas has such a strong economy and is a business friendly state… putting forth half of the new jobs gained since 2009 nation wide (minus the fires, WH Gulf Oil Moratorium, and new EPA salamander threat to West Texas Oil production) …why doesn’t TEXAS build the ‘double border fence system’ between the Texas and Mexico border maybe utilizing the vast number of Texas prisoners to reduce the cost INSTEAD of relying of the Anti-American federal Gov to do their job to “protect and defend the American people”?
Or would that be political suicide for a governor… even if the people of Texas put forth the legislation and pressured the state?

Just as most of the people in Massachusetts will not vote for Romney and most of the Minnesotians will not vote for Tim Pawlenty, I think most of the Texans will not vote for Rick Perry in 2012.

Thank you, Bob, for providing us with info each day on important topics.

      • BigBen

        Hello Mr. Livingston,

Please do add RINO to any GOP President candidate when necessary. That will SUM it up for me. I look forward to that article.

Good points Steffanie. I am a Texan now living in Colorado and I’ve got to tell you, I’m sick and tired of the liberal attitude and leadership that has taken over this State. Every time a bill is introduced and passes both houses that would grant more reasonable freedoms to the people and ready for the Governor’s signature gets vetoed by him. Bill Ritter and now John Hickenlooper are all about Obama hugging. Our biggest problem is all of the liberals that migrated here after they totally screwed up California. Don’t let them come to Texas.

As for private enterprise, look at Maryland and the girls that were selling lemonade to benefit Muscular Distrophy last week. They were sighted with a $500.00 fine for not having a permit. Does that encourage young people to want to help others? Does it encourage free enterprise? And, why the hell does any government, big or small have the right to steal money from kids who are trying to do some good. There is no end to political greed.

      • Cliffystones

Why oh why is it that everybody who isn’t from California thinks that everybody there is a far-left, flower-child, pot smoking liberal loon?

Most of the former Californians I know (myself included) who have moved from there to states like Colorado and Texas, did so because we are Conservative and were tired of the damn government telling us what to do. Most of the Fruit Loops I encountered in my 47 years in California came from elsewhere, and were simpletons who thought that California was one big sidewalk with bikini-clad chicks on roller blades. Combine those folks with the illegals and some beautiful American real estate is being flushed down the toilet.

My cousin chose Austin, TX. He is ten-times more a devout Christian than I am. He moved his family there a few months before we moved to Colorado Springs. I really didn’t want to live in another climate with 100 degree plus temps and humidity you could cut with a knife. But I too was surprised and disappointed at the liberal leanings of the Colorado government. The liberals seem more numerous in Denver, and of course Boulder than the more rural parts of the state.

        • gblaw5

Ditto from a completely fed up and disgusted second generation Southern Californian. Liberals, socialists and crazies have no reason to leave their paradise. Most of the ones leaving are those of us with a high IQ, common sense, critical thinking skills, and believe STRONGLY in the Constitution. I ‘m getting ready to move out of this pit myself. California is beautiful but, it’s too screwed up socially and politically. It’s a crime that a city as beautiful as San Francisco has been taken over and completely ruined by a bunch of liberal, brain dead jerks. There are a few pockets of sanity and common sense in the state but, the liberal socialists and illegals are quickly destroying them. I just can’t take it any more and I see no hope for the future of this once great state. I wish we could flush the whole state down the toilet and start over.

          • Kate8

gblaw5 – I’ve lived in CA my whole life, and I am as conservative as they come, as is my entire family.

Is anywhere really safe in America? What is happening in CA is scheduled for the nation.

          • Patty

You guys! Get out of there before that plate moves and it falls into the ocean! :)

      • Steffanie

Thank you! I’ve lived in other States, owned businesses in them… none seemed to me to be as business or people friendly as Texas… but shhh… that gets you bombarded on this board.

  • Elevenarrows

    Steffanie,

I have been researching candidates lately–trying to decide who my candidate will be….

Can you confirm or deny Rick Perry’s attendance at Bilderburg?

  • C130 Gunship

I’m a Texan (natural born not a transplant) and I’m not a fan of Perry at all. He is a big government politician, but to stick with the article……If Perry signs the anti groping bill he’s running for president. If he uses his veto to keep if from becoming law he won’t be running for president. Perry is a huge media pig, just like the mulatto Mussolini.

    • Christin

      You are probably right Gunship.

I hope Perry signs the legislation for NO TSA Gropings (and Radiation scanners… is that on the bill?) frenzy at our airports in Texas no matter if he is running or not…

I expect the rest of you folks to put forth similar Anti-TSA (Union) legislation in Your State… whether it passes or not… so that we stand for FREEDOM together… what are you all waiting for… get on it.

  • http://www.diyyardandhome.com Dan

Go Texas!!! About time a state stood up the Federal Government and their usurping of states rights. I would love to see a case go to the supreme court that was between the Feds and a State and see the state lose and refuse to comply with the Supreme Court Ruling.

  • Elevenarrows

    C130 Gunship –

Thank you for that link. I am already aware of who is in bed with Bilderberg, etc. I just wanted to see if Steffanie would own up to the fact Perry is one of them!

    I like your name….

  • northbrook

Texas needs to stand up for their rights. Prior to the underwear bomber physical search was limited, there is no reason that the TSA cannot follow the previous rules. Note the underwear bomber flrw into the counntry from Holland not from within the US.

Stop Obama and the DOJ and TSA thugs

  • Bailey

Comrades of numbed up minds, what is there not to criticize the anointed, Golden Boy about? No matter where I place a thought or finger, there is deep trouble. All of the following have been demeaned, negated, marginalized, or down right destroyed….1. the dollar 2. patriotism 3. God and Christianity (that word Christianity really puts jockey itch in your crotch) 4. the family nucleus 5. capitalism in a free enterprise system 6. ambition with the idea that you must work for a living 7. the greatest health care system in the world. on, and on, and on. Of course, if the wind blows foul, he will walk on water and favor the Muslims. If he gets “mixed up” spiritually, all he has to do is fall back on Rev. Wright…the nearest thing to Islamic teachings from a “Christian” world. That is if you can pull him away from attending “flag burnings”…the US kind. You may have to forgive his need to shoot basketball, or play golf…instead of visiting our wounded troops. Or, placing his hand over his heart when giving the Pledge. Be sure and leave “God” out…you may “annoy” someone. Let Arizona rot…they wanted to protect themselves from the nice folks crossing the border…killing, raping, drug smuggling, and pillaging the country side. Eric Holder went so far as to say damn if they do it on my watch…I’ll take them to the UN. We want every vote we can get, including the illegals coming across with a few terrrorist. To ensure they make it…give them a few guns in the form of a “sting”.
We have gotten such wonderful vibs from his majesty, that he has extended the hand of fellowship to all the middle eastern countries…except Israel…particularly in the form of the Muslim Brotherhood. Oops, let’s see now…which are still in place with any form of stable government. Israel. Which have their missles aimed at us…and which are sporting a nuclear warhead. The annointed one will take care of it all. The world is also flat, and we are loved by all the folks in the middle east, europe, near east and far east….not to mention the love expressed by our immediate neighbor to the south. They love us so much, they are demanding to get in. You can sleep tonight, your world is secure, and safe with the present mandator. We still have our Guns and Bibles, your majesty, and I’ll be damn if you will pry them from our cold wet hands. We can jump ship in the next election…after all, the storms, oil spill, money collapse, etc. is Bush’s fault…including any earthquakes. LOL

    • jibbs

I think you covered just about everything, thank you!

  • 45caliber

And I hope it is passed and signed this time. There needs to be some control on what the TSA is doing. The Feds have stated that they intend to shut down all plane operations here if it is passed but I don’t see that a problem – too many businesses would object. So I believe that the feds will have to come out with some lesser way to accomplish their goals. Considering that I believe the whole thing is designed to get Americans used to being physically searched at the whim of the authorities rather than an actual anti-terrorist action, I’d just as soon it disappeared.

    • DaveH

Right on, 45, Texas should call their bluff.
Maybe they could also establish a no-fly zone over Al Gore’s airport and save us all those “carbon” emissions.

    • http://WeThePeople Jean

AT&T and Verison whill just turn his Blackberry off

    • Dan az

Maybe I should be asking Viki for this but anyone here know the legality of the commerce clause that says that the guvmnt can threaten a state with a no fly zone? The fact that we even have a TSA is questionable.

      • DaveH

The Commerce Clause has been stretched every which way for over 2 hundred years, Dan. That and the “General Welfare” clause. If indeed, those were valid Constitutional treatments, then there would have been no need to enumerate the Powers of the Federal Government, because they could do anything they damn well pleased as long as they said it was for our own good.
Here is Article I of the Constitution (section 8 for the powers):
        http://www.cato.org/constitution/article1_en.html

What the framers meant by “general welfare” was that any of their exercised powers would apply equally to all the states. The Confederate Constitution purposely left it out due to the abuses of it by the Federal Government.
And the Commerce Clause was intended to stop individual states from favoring their own industries with subsidies, tariffs, and other forms of protectionism.

        • 45caliber

The Commerce Clause was put in to insure that the North could buy Southern crops at reduced prices.

  • Steffanie

Elevenarrows — I never said he wasn’t. I wanted to know why Obama was not included in those that are part of the bilderburgs and who introduced him.. nothing more.. nothing less.

C130 Gunship– You should be proud when someone say’s ” We can go anywhere in the WORLD and live, but we choose to live in Texas”. That’s a pretty good compliment to your state, considering Costa Rica was in the toss up. I guess since I’ve lived in many other states I can compare… Texas has the least amount of taxes and laws I’ve seen in any other state I’ve been in, or researched.

Ron Paul — I liked him, until I heard him talk about his foreign policies, not too crazy about those. I personally would like to have a candidate that I can vote FOR.. not just a vote against Obama.

Perry was right when he said — You can’t please everyone( paraphrase) You can’t. I happen to like the man. I also understand the vaccines…just like the hepatitis Vac they have to get… or the many other vaccines they HAVE to get by law.. didn’t say I liked it.. but understand it.
I also think that people should go look at the mans record and see everything that he’s veto’d that could have really made Texas big government. No! He doesn’t do everything I like… but he’s a long way from being the worst in the bunch. NO! I’ve not settled on a candidate as of yet, I’m still doing research. I was looking at his veto record… all the things he could have allowed in this state vs. the ones he didn’t allow.

    • jibbs

Perry, would be a mistake, just like obama. If I were you, I’d do more research and think more about Ron Paul. And you stated that Perry said, “you can’t please everyone”. Think again about Ron Paul!

    • TIME

      Steffanie,

Much of what you posted is are valid, but as to Perry lets just put the issue to rest. As you must know in Germany in the mid 1920′s – 1945 there was a man named Adolf Hitler.
Hitler after 1945 was known only as a “mad man” who’s crimes can never be fully understood as they vast amount of these crimes were so vulgar that few can grasp the depth of how utterly mad he was.

Yet this should also be kept in mind with all leaders / Politicians. Thus if as of August 1939 Hitler had not invaded Poland with his pact with Russia. Hitler would have been known as the most Incredible Statesman in recorded history of mankind. Keep in mind the 1938 TIME magazine artical that stated that Adolf Hitler was the man of the year!

So you see when you have power, and that power grows to the level of “Ultimate and Total,” something within the brain changes in most people.
Just as when people get their first credit card that has no limit. The first thing they do is deny that they have such, that holds for about a year or even two. Then it hits them how much POWER they have, as “money is power and power can be had with money.”

A Bilderburg Pick is not a good thing for this nation, lets review a few of them.

      Kennedy,
      Johnson
      Nixon
      Ford
      Carter
      Daddy Bush
      Clinton thats both of them.
      GWB
      Barry Soetoro

Not a one of these people has the American citizens best interest in mind. That means even you too.

Will you not like it when your chipped, but do it anyway just to get along?
Afterall thats whats created the very problems we face today, people just doing things to get along even when you know its totaly wrong.
Thus we come back to the old adage, will two wrongs make a right?

      • Elevenarrows

Excellent points, Time! I am fed up with all the people who bemoan the loss of their freedoms, but go along anyway…like sheep to the slaughter. If just a few of those fence-straddlers would grow a spine, the rest of us might have an easier time protecting our freedoms…which, by the way, come from God, not gov’t.

    • DaveH

      Steffanie,
      You need to read this:
      http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/?p=534

      • DaveH

And I might add, that forced vaccination is just about as intrusive as a Government can get. Nobody is ever again going to inject foreign bodies into my body again without my approval. Forced vaccinations are the height of tyranny. What right has any man (or woman) got to forcibly protect you from yourself, even if they are effective?
I will save you from commenting that we need vaccinations to protect other people, because that is the commonly accepted myth propagated by controlling people. The truth is that if the vaccines really work, the voluntarily vaccinated people would be in no danger from the vaccine refusers. If the vaccines don’t really work, well, do I need to go there?

        • Steffanie

Dave, Thank you! Your civil and helpful. I understand the need for vaccinations the way they used to be. Now, let me tell you a little story. My older two children were given all their shots because that’s what I thought we were supposed to do. Then, I started reading more about them with the younger two… come to find out… many healthy kids were retarded due to the shots. I refused to allow my younger children to be vaccinated until, I was threatened with a jail sentence, them being taken away and given the shots anyway ( State of Kansas) My two older children are now 26 and 27, the younger two are 20 and 18. They are all healthy, thank you Jesus. But, I’m not the advocate for vaccines that people seem to think that I am. I stated that I understood it… not that I agreed with it.

I can also give you an even better youtube of Bill Gates stating that good vaccines could help with Population control… do a search for Bill Gate and Ted Speech or energy on youtube. Perhaps I came off wrong this morning…. I’m not for anyone at this point….. I am still looking at records and looking at candidates. My biggest problem is… I’m sick of slanted reporting! I’m tired of the bias….. I’m tired the media picking the candidate. The way I read the article I felt as though it was biased… but I can see right now… I just will not comment any longer on anyone’s articles and just unsubscribe instead of being talked to like some over zealous liberal. Thank you for your kindness and patience, Dave H. ( I can also give kudos to Bob Livingston for his civil responses as well)

          • DaveH

Thank you for your kind words, Steffanie.

        • Elevenarrows

I agree! I strongly recommend that the uninformed who still think vaccinations “work” check out National Vaccine Information Center. They stay up on all the ingredients, effectiveness (or lack thereof), bad reactions, etc. of vaccines. After my sister’s son had an adverse reaction years ago, I spent months researching every “required” vaccine…and some optional ones, too. There is not a single one on the market today,I would allow in my body or the body of anyone I love. The entire philosophy behind them denies how the human immune system is designed to work in the first place! Vaccines are about two things: money and control. Anyone who thinks otherwise is seriously behind the research and evidence. One small example of the foolishness coming from the vaccine industry: they are full of aluminum…and now we wring our hands and wonder why we have immune disorders running rampant, Alzheimers becoming the next biggest killer….connect the dots.

      • mickey

Oh my, David, that is not one I had seen. I have read the Dr. Mercola reports on vaccines and children. Even extended to animals. Hitler would be proud that so much experimentation could be expanded so far as a whole populace. And the whole world?

Stephanie, you are so naive about these vaccines. They are mandatory for the pharm industry, just like the GM products that are now being reported as arsenic in fetal blood. And who but Michele Obama, supported by the pharm industry, is purporting 4 meals a day for young kids?

        • Steffanie

I answered Dave H… Perhaps you should read what I wrote.

          • eddie47d

Why do you assume Stephanie, that those who responded to you are “overzealous liberals” when all who answered you are Conservatives. There are sometimes a wide variety of opinions on this site and while some folks are agreeable not all are.

          • DaveH

She didn’t say that, Eddie. Read her comment again.

      • Christin

        DaveH,

Wow, what a eye opening website on ‘vaccine inoculations’ and ‘their true intended purposes”… thanks so much for sharing that website.
Hope more people will open it and read.

So evil people create vaccines to kill selected populations… just amazing.

    • mickey

Maybe it would be time to see what Gardisil does to these kids, including boys.

Again with the Hep B. No new born should have this unless the mother is infected so why everyone?

Hitler experimented on Jews. This country is experimenting on all of us. 25-26 mandatory vaccines!!!! When I travelled overseas, I had a lot of shots to protect me.

As far as Perry, didn’t obama want a “no fly zone” over Libya? The same in Texas? If Perry caves this time, I wouldn’t even consider him. Besides that, he still thinks “Hispanic” is the growing population, duh, how many illegals made that possible? We are either US or we are not. No separatists group.

      • DaveH

        And then there’s this:
        http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/?p=2191

      • Elevenarrows

In 1999, I was having one of my kids in the hospital (thankfully we deliver at home now). I told everyone that would listen and also wrote it in my birth plan that my son was not to receive any vaccinations. The nurses agreed to not vaccinate him. When he came back to my postpartum room after having his one day old picture made, he had been vaccinated with the Hepatitis B vaccine. I was furious because I had spent months researching that one since it was the newest one being shoved on unsuspecting parents. The pediatrician tried to tell me it was the safest vaccine ever made with ZERO side effects. Not so! A week later, I was watching TV and saw that the CDC quietly (announced on news at 11 pm) withdrew their recommendation that this vaccine be given at birth. The reason? Horrible, life-threatening bowel obstructions requiring surgery to save the baby’s life!!! When I asked the pediatrician if she had ever researched the vaccine or any of the vaccines she administers, she said she just does what the CDC says. Yikes! Parents had better be doing their own research…the doctor that promises the vaccine won’t harm your child will not be there to help your paralyzed (yes, that happens) child if he has an adverse reaction. Nor will that doctor be there when that child is 40 and has autoimmune diseases or dementia, etc.

        • Kate8

Elevenarrows – Wow. I didn’t know that about the bowel obstructions from the HepB vaccine.

When my grandson was born, they gave him the HepB vaccine within hours, as well. He became very ill and wouldn’t nurse for 2 weeks without a great deal of coaxing, and he was severely jaundiced.

He’s continued to have constant abdominal pain to this day (he is now 6), especially after eating. Even though my daughter did not continue the childhood vaccinations, he still suffers from (what I believe) is a result of that HepB shot. He has always shown signs of liver distress.

          • April

Try Accidopholus. You get it at the health food store. It always sets my grand daughter’s system straight. She just turned 2 years old. It also is good for the animals when they start to eat grass and do not eat their food, I give them some acidopholus and it resets their digestive system.

          • Patty

Kate8 – You may want to try Charcoal pills. I was taking Aciphex for 10 years. Then I read it leads to Osteoporosis and other ailments. I researced charcoal. Took it for 1 week. You can find it in the natural food store for under 10 bucks. Now when I have stomach trouble I pop 1 of those. Beats the heck out of Prilosec and Aciphex. Will warn you, it is not to be taken daily for long periods.

          • April

Acidopholus is natural. It is not the same as prilosec or other man made meds. Acidopholus is naturally found in yogarts and unpasturized buttermilk and is proven to improve the immune system and digestive tract and can be taken every day for the rest of your life without harm. Check me out at any healthfood store.

    • mickey

You don’t like Ron Paul’s “hands off, we are broke” foreign policy? The one where trade would supplant bombs?

I was in Germany 14 years after the war. People were still living in bombed out buildings. Men would go through the military base’s trash just to pull out the thrown out food.

We have been in Iraq and Afghanistan for 10 years. What have we accomplished except more dead than in the towers. Young kids are guarding the poppy fields, not ag fields, but poppy fields.

And pre-emptive bombing? Even Gates admits we are NATO.

Doesn’t it ever occur to you that obama goes to the UN (over AZ) and Libya instead of through our systems?

I surely hope you broaden your scope of search engines to see what is happening here.

  • nils

We need a special plane for the non-groped, a plane I don’t want to be on in fact. What is wrong with you? Do you have a death wish? Just wait until one of those overclad, non-groped you-know-whats blow up a plane, then who do we sue, the State of Texas for such an dumb law. I wouldn’t fly any plane that loaded in Texas if such a stupid law passes. Hopefully, there will be no planes to fly coming from Texas.

    • JC

You don’t really believe that the TSA perverts are making us “more secure” do you? Security is, at best, an illusion.
You want real security from sky jackers? Arm every one on the plane.

      • Elevenarrows

        Amen!!!

    • mickey

Gosh, can you believe it? We used to fly everywhere without the groping.

I don’t recall where I read it but it was my understanding that someone in Congress had a great financial interest in these machines. About like Gore and global warming. Cheney and Halibut?

It is interesting that we are supporting our own demise. Do you know how much tax money is spent to support subversive groups? I’m only finding a few so I wonder just how many there are. LaRaza got 11M up from 4M to fight us on illegal immigration.

Remember those innocent “weather” cameras set up along the freeway? Now they are used for law enforcement? And the number of cameras everywhere. I watched a movie, filmed in England, that showed the use of all those cameras. Big Brother is here.

      • Elevenarrows

In NC where our vacation home is located, gov’t uses satellite to determine if you have truthfully filled out your form showing any improvements to your property. They use it to increase taxes. I wonder how much longer before they require home inspections to see if you painted the kitchen walls! Ridiculous.

My son thinks we should paint all our roofs to look like trees!

        • Kate8

Eleven…- They are already doing home inspections here in CA.

It started with PG&E offering free stuff, like weatherstripping, checking your heater, and everything up to installing free, energy-smart appliances (to bring everyone into compliance for smartmeters a la Agenda 21).

It seems that when you accept those things, you have to sign an agreement to allow them to do periodic inspections of your home. It is only a short jump to mandatory inspections for everyone.

When they called me, I told them to take a hike. I still refuse a smartmeter, but it looks like this fall they are going to amp up the pressure to force them on those of us who resist. They are talking about charging people so much money to keep the old meters that we can’t possibly afford it, so we’ll be forced to comply.

      • BimBam

“Gosh, can you believe it? We used to fly everywhere without the groping.”

Hell, I remember when it was the passengers that did the groping on the stewardesses. My how things have changed.

        Airline revenge????

        • JC

Nope! Police State tactics…brought to you by those fun loving folks (scumbags) behind the doors of the Federal Reserve.

    • DaveH

First they campaign around the world pissing everybody off at the US, then they offer themselves as the solution to the danger posed by those pissed off. How convenient for them.
The truth is that 9/11 would never have happened if the terrorists hadn’t known that Government had made airline passengers into helpless sheep who could be subdued with plastic knives and box cutters.
I propose a compromise with the wimpy citizens. We get Government out of the Airline business, and let the airlines decide how much protection to offer. Some would cavity search all the cowards to keep them “safe”, and others would allow licensed passengers to carry on board. I would fly on the latter. And no, bullets piercing the cabin do not cause an airplane to explode like a balloon.
We have given up our Freedom for the Illusion of Security.

    • Michael S

Sadly there are people who either have forgotten or are too young to remember what freedom is.

      • mickey

        You are right here.

I moved from the mid-west, where we took responsibility for our actions, to CA where everyone had rights but no responsibility. Now CA has expanded to the rest of us. Including debt.

I can’t see that CA was such a good example and mid-western states who remained solvent was (is) frowned upon. Sorta like the mindset that doing the right thing is somehow wrong.

    • jibbs

      are you wearing Jovi blinders?

    • C130 Gunship

Nils- What an ignorant comment, I expect better from you!

What the law specifically pertains to is searching your private parts WITHOUT HAVING PROBABLE CAUSE. If the TSA sees a weapon or anything that shouldn’t be lodged in your butt, vagina, or bra, they can (and should) pat you down. But to simply pick people out of a line and do a very invasive cavity search / pat down at random violates the IV Amendment.

    • Patty

Nils, women in burkas are exempt. Against thier religion. I don’t know of any 6 year old white girls that have packed a bomb on themselves (you know, the ones they are searching), but I do know there are instances of suicide female bombers in burkas.

  • http://WeThePeople Jean

They do not grop or even look at the [removed] – they just wave them through. See it done so many times – I just want to scream. If they did grop a [removed] it would be rasist and profiling.

Did you Hear Mihcagen may be another State that may have a law to keep the TSA in chick (Hop)

  • s c

The mental giants in California’s state government found ways to screw over their largest cash crop constituents (marijuana growers), so maybe they should put their heads together and demand that California be the ONLY state (of all of Herr Obummer’s 57 states) to have an annual “gropers” convention.
I can see it now. You wanna get groped? Head for an airport and go to California. Shucks, you might even get groped as you leave the flippin’ airport!
Money is money, Californians. With your surplus of fruits, nuts and flakes, hotels and motels and eateries will do a booming business. It might even put a dent in your economic woes!

    • DC/Tex

Warning, while in Californicate, for sure San FranCisco do not bend over to tie your shoes in public, you will get to know one of their fruitcakes better than you want too.

      • Dan az

        And that’s a fact! :)

  • DC/Tex

I am a 60+ year old 4th generation Texan and I am a proud citizen of the US but a Texan first. I am proud of our Texas leaders standing up to the antichrist and his gang of Chicago crime mobsters in the whorehouse. It is time for the only state that can to become The Republic of Texas again! We can produce our own oil, natural gas, coal, food and technology and sell it to the third world countries like Mexico and soon to be the US. We can close our borders to illegals with out having to fight the corrupt US government.

Wow – those are excellent and accurate descriptions of both. I’ll have to start using them. Thanks, Gunship!

    EVERYONE. HEADS UP.

Robert Smith is posting a URL in this blog that has to do with boycotting Fox News.

DO NOT….I REPEAT (EMPHATICALLY)…DO NOT OPEN OR ACCESS THIS URL!!!

I did last night to give him the benefit of the doubt regarding some facts and within 30 seconds my home computer was TOAST!! I run Kaspersky on my computers. I had alerts popping up all over the place that a virus had been detected, some program was trying to access a UDP (that’s a type of port and is related to protocols), and different windows started to pop up to block the attack. As soon as I clicked on one of the windows my desktop went “POOF”. I’ve been trying since to recover but to no avail. All my files are gone, my workspace is clear, and the “task manager” shows 2 users active but I can’t close either of them out. I’ve run kaspersky 5 times now to no avail. My restore points have been removed and no files can be located even though my hard drive is full. I cannot even access the directory tree. This virus/malware is serious CRAP!!

For EVERYONES benefit. DO NOT OPEN ANY URLs PROVIDED BY ROBERT SMITH OR ANY URLs INDICATING A TOPIC OF BOYCOTT AGAINST FOX NEWS AS A MINIMUM PRECAUTION. I would seriously be skeptical of any URLs posted by any of the Progressive Liberalretards on this site.

Be forewarned!! All I have for a computer now is my laptop. If I knew where Mr. Smith resided I’d be slamming him with federal charges for promulgating this virus and then go after him for reparations.

Rick; This is probably a root kit virus. First restart your computer, as soon as your computer turns off start tapping your F8 key. You should see a black screen with a number of options. Highlight “Start your computer in Safe Mode”. That just loads the basic operating system. go to your Kesperski icon, and then start the anti virus program. Under Safe Mode you may want to download all new anti virus definitions first.
If that dose not work you will need to find a person who can access your hard drive with another computer and run an anti virus program on your hard drive as though it was a separate drive on their computer.

      • Rick

Thanks James but I got it back after about 3 hours of messing with it yesterday. The virus (or trojan or whatever it was) changed every file and folders attributes to “hidden”. And yes, I already rebooted in safe mode and did as you said after finding what had happened. The other big concern I had was when I started “task manager” and went through the tabs, under “users”, it showed “2 users” on one line. The only way I could stop or quit the “users” was to go into the “processes” tab and manually end each and every process and then reboot. Needless to say, I was not (and am still not) a happy camper about it all but at least I was able to recover from it short of reformatting the hard drive. And I was worried cuz’ I’ve all tons of homework/papers on the computer for all the college courses I’ve been taking since last fall. Thanks again for your suggestion tho.

Proud Texans…Be proud of being a Texan all you want ( Or Can ! ) But for Heavens` sake, Keep an open mind about All that is going on ..And Do as you have been warned to do.. Do the Research on Perry >Vote for someone like Perry ! If you favor MORE of The Same desolation that has been garnered up, thus far ! Vote for yet another Bilder-Bum like Perry ! HE is YOUR MAN !! Who do you Think b.Obam would Be More than OK for being The NEXT prez..( In event HE does not Get to keep his ‘job’.. come `12 ? I would venture to say HE has already sanctioned Perry to Take over the reins. So, If you really do want “More of Same “..Perry is your MAN !! I have no doubt None of you are Proud that GWB built his nest in your fine state..and preceeded to Trash the Whole World from your Domain. Do be More Vigilant..And do more Research ..Then do your informed Deciding. Texas is a Fine State.. so don`t allow it to be made a scapegoat for All that is Wrong in this country.. Put another Bilderbum like Perry In..and It will Be the End. He is NOT at all What he is presenting himself to be. Keep in mind, that just because He Says what he is FOR..( only because he knows what the constituents want) it does not boil down to being what he is aiming for behind the scenes. Remember, He is head of the gameplan..not one of the sheep following behind. Think !
It is for certain that Ron Paul is Not Hiding anything. He is What he Presents himself to be. Honest to a fault..but not Sneaky. As for HIS foreign Policy. YOU Had best Heed him. If we don`t..Soon there will be no Republic left to Be concerned about Losing. His Policy is the only one that can, even at this late stage of deterioration of our economy…that can turn our country around and set us on the Progressive track we need so desperately..in order to survive as a Nation with Gods` Blessings. Stephanie, Do your Research..no more room for flying Blind !! And S. check out gardisil and its` dangers to our childrens Lives and future. No more room for error.

    • Steffanie

You know, I’ve yet to ‘fly blind’ on any candidate. I do my research, I get opinions from others, I read voting and vetoing records. I listen to what they say as much as what they don’t say. But,You gave me absolutely NO reason why I shouldn’t vote for this person or that person. Vote for Perry if you want more of the same… but Texas is not suffering the same fate the United States as a whole is. Fact is, there have only been two maybe three people that have given legitimate reasons not to vote for this person. I had actually forgot about the vaccines… but you… you have given no reason why I shouldn’t vote for Perry and no sound reason why I should ignore my gut feeling on Ron Pauls foreign policies.

Paul had my vote right up to the point he said ” I would not have gone after Bin Laden” I can say up front that’s probably the only order Obama has not messed up to this date. Honestly…. Progressive track is what’s gotten us in more messes!

      • DC/Tex

        Amen!!!

      • Christin

Oh Please, Steffanie, where have you been?

Usama bin laden has been dead for about a decade, BHO only claimed to have done it to boost his lousy ratings which are in the tank for his killing policies on Jobs, drilling for oil, and the Economy… where’s the body… why didn’t bin laden post more videos like he had been doing, because he died of health issues many years ago.

Our worst ENEMY is the AMERICAN ANTI-CAPITALIST (Progressive NWO) GOVERNMENT living and working in DC and the WH taking away our FREEDOMS with every breath you take.

        • Carlucci

Amen, and thank you, Christin -! Excellent points. And the lame stream media hucksters are also in bed with the feds to spread disinformation every chance they get.

          • Christin

            Carlucci, :)

        • James

Christin, I also believe bin Laden was killed in December 2001. It was just after that that the fake bin Laden appeared, who was shorter, stockier built and was shown writing and eating with his right hand (bin Laden was left-handed). If they took a picture of bin Laden’s corpse, why don’t they just show it and end this doubt?

      • Rosco1776

And the foreign policy we have has worked so well? Dr. Paul has a non intervention foreign policy which is what this country was built on. The empire will crumble from within due to it’s imperialistic policies.

        Ron Paul 2012!

      • Rosco1776

Oh yeah, Ron Paul voted to go after him back in 2001 and they had him cornered but let the locals do the job instead of our guys, this “war” would have ended 10 years ago.

      • Patty

Steffanie – There is always more than 1 way to skin a cat. It is the grandstanding that Obama did, the lack of a body, etc. that makes me wonder if it really happened. A good leader would have gone in quitely, got it done, got out and kept thier mouth shut. Personally, I think Bin Laden died years ago from his kidney affliction. Prove me wrong. Oh, that’s right, no body. It seems very strange to me, that not 1 valid picture has hit the web.

        • JC

Yep, if it happened at all…they got rid of the evidence faster than the evidence from 9-11.

Carlucci, I checked back on this ”site’ and just now read your comment. Much the same as Mine just now Posted ( That Stephie Took such offense to !! ) O well, I suppose her Umbrella has not opened To the Point it Does her any good. That Can Happen ! Sorry, Steph, you win some you lose some. Get used to it.
Ron Paul, I must say.. I agree with Almost Everything he stands Behind…( The Things that Matter to the Betterment of This Country… ) And his Views that WE should STOP trying to Patrol the whole world and mend our own Fenses ( Especially those To the South end of OUR Country. ) When 2012 Rolls around, Then we will Sort Some of this excess ‘Stuff’ Off the Agenda..And Hopefully, start out with a Slate we can Work with. IF we keep our noses clean and our heads above water..to that Point in time. Only sensible Tactic to take. Otherwise, There will be martial law declared and those Readied Fema-camps will be filling up so fast they will be resorting to the “Old Back Door Tactic the Nazis used .. SO..Patience, People..Is a virtue !

Stephanie, As for jobs numbers, look at all the states that are non unions, unemployment is always way lower and some of the unemployed are just lazy smucks. I know of a company that has been looking for 4 people to hire starting a $16 an hour and all the hours they want, only requirements is that they are over 18 and pass the pee test. I contacted several 20 somethings, who are working for $7.50 a hour and they don’t want to work shift work or work on weekends, their pregant girl friends are already on welfare and you and I will pay for the next one she has. But I guess up in Wyo, or the nation has too many pusified college degreed dumb azzes. Who really want to work, but keep going for more degrees on taxpayers dime, as one said he plans on being a professor of business. When states tell the feds to f–k off, as legislatures all need to do, Florida has gotten rid of 100 regulations killing business, Texas needs to see how long it takes businesses to get these unelected agencies, get pealed back to reality when citizens start raising hell. Hope Tezans hold tight and a few more states get some hair on them, to stand up to Washington.

    • Steffanie

I understand what your saying. I also know that a few States have written some pretty nasty letters to Perry, because he’s taking their corporations away. Texas has no State income tax… Kansas we paid a couple hundred thousand a year, Missouri was as bad– for three examples. Car tags in Texas cost us 69.00 each for my Lexus…Jeep and Pick-up. Missouri it was 500.00 for the lexus and 600.00 for the jeep( didn’t have the pick-up) a year. Kansas it was 750.00 & between 4-600 for the jeep. We paid taxes on food in Kansas, but do not in Texas.Property taxes in Texas aren’t any where near as bad as they were in Kansas. I can’t speak for Missouri because we did not own a house there, we owned a hotel with a penthouse, the comparison wouldn’t be fair value.

These are some of the reasons that people are moving here. I’m sure I’m not the only person that has moved here and understands it’s a far better lifestyle when comparing just those 3 States.

Perry also signed a Bill this last week that allows home bakers to bake and sell their good without intrusion from the health department ( food cottage law(?)).This will allow many home cake makers to sell their products without a license. I’m no expert.. but that’s unheard of in the other two states I’ve mentioned. Both of those would have you shackled before sundown for something like that. Texas seems to be business friendly. These are my comparisons from 3 right-to-work States. These are only my opinions drawn from my experiences. I believe that some of the things I’ve told you are why so many companies are moving here from other states, again, my opinion.

A new note on the news. It seems that the Feds are now revising their rules for pat downs. Of course they’ve been planning this for some time. They are no longer going to pat down small children and are considering other changes to their rules.

I wonder if these changes came about because they hope to defuse the Texas bill before it is passed.
