Terrorism By Government


In any dealings with the Internal Revenue Service, and contrary to American jurisprudence, you are first considered guilty unless you can prove your innocence.

The IRS will reject your returns and require you to provide documentary evidence of all your financial transactions. Failure to provide all required documentary evidence—for whatever reason—will result in fines and penalties and possible jail time. There is little that sends more chills down the spines of American “taxpayers” than a letter or call from an IRS functionary.


Last week, before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TITGA) J. Russell George said the IRS could not account for all the costs of an Anaheim IRS training conference attended by 2,400 IRS employees and estimated to have cost the agency $4.1 million. In other words, the agency was in violation of the very rules it uses to oppress Americans.

The conference is noteworthy because of a controversial video produced for the conference that spoofed “Star Trek” and cost about $50,000 to make. It was one of the first hints of the excessive IRS abuses to leak.

A TITGA report released May 31 claimed the IRS held 225 employee conferences between 2010 and 2012 at a cost of more than $49 million. But the cost could have been a lot more. During Congressional testimony, Faris Fink, commissioner of the IRS Small Business and Self-Employed Division and “Spock” in the video spoof — who approved the expenditures for the Anaheim conference – admitted the conference may have actually cost more than $5 million. And Gregory Kutz, the assistant inspector general for the audit, testified that the Anaheim conference was the only one of the 225 examined.

The video dialogue, the lavish, unchecked conference expenditures, the abuse of conservative groups requesting non-profit status and the list of abuses that Michael Minns wrote about last week all point to an agency that is unaccountable and out of control – which is typical of unchecked government bureaucracy.

The IRS is nothing more than a blunt instrument used to beat Americans into compliance with a socialist, redistributionist fascist government that passes itself off as a democracy. It gives a face of “legitimacy” to the government’s theft of our labor. But theft is theft whether the robbery is pulled off by a masked bandit or an agent of the state wearing a suit and tie.

In fact, theft by the state is much worse because if you are prepared or armed you can fend off the masked bandit, or perhaps hope the good agents of the state law enforcement apparatus may one day capture and prosecute the bandit and return your stolen goods, but there is no such defense against state. There is no hope to recover the goods stolen from you by an agency of the government that enforces laws that are so Byzantine that a question to a dozen IRS agents will render a dozen answers, many of them contradictory. And there is essentially no appeal for a negative IRS result, as one of the people targeted in the IRS Tea Party scandal learned when his appeal was to be heard by the very agent who had denied his status previously.

For 100 years the lie has promulgated that income taxes fund the government. Americans are taught from an early age to be a good taxpayer and to pay their “fair share.” This lie has gone so far that now the majority of the people buys into the notion that the government gets first dibs on our money and can withhold the amount that is our fair share. Then, our benevolent government gives us some back after we file our return and we happily take our “refund.”

Using words spoken by Beardsley Ruml, chairman of the New York Federal Reserve from 1941 to 1946, we can dispel the widely believed myth that income taxes are needed for government income. Income taxes have nothing to do with providing income to the government.

In a famous speech he read before the American Bar Association during the last year of World War II, titled “Taxes for Revenue Are Obsolete,” Ruml said, “The necessity for a government to tax in order to maintain both its independence and its solvency is true for state and local governments, but it is not true for a national government.”

The speech was originally printed in American Affairs in the January, 1946 issue. The editor of American Affairs wrote: “His [Ruml’s] thesis is that given (1) control of a central banking system and (2) an inconvertible currency, a sovereign national government is finally free of money worries and need no longer levy taxes for the purpose of providing itself with revenue. All taxation, therefore, should be regarded from the point of view of social and economic consequences.”

In a similar vein, former Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President Darryl Francis had this to say in 1974: “Since the direct method of printing money to finance government expenditures is prohibited in the United States, the monetization of government deficits has occurred indirectly. Government debt is ultimately being financed by the creation of new money.”

Revelations of IRS abuses should be the impetus to dismantle the government shakedown agency to the last jot and tittle.

The Surveillance State
When the people lose confidence in government they lose all fear in favor of self defense. This loss of confidence in government and the elected class is happening now at breakneck speed.

Government and Congress are no longer legitimate and they have been and are passing laws right and left against the American people. Government is composed of parasitical psychopaths who have created the hyper-Orwellian surveillance state that was completely revealed in two reports by the British paper, The Guardian last week, here and here. It is exactly what I have been warning about for a number of years, since the passage of the USA Patriot Act, here and in my newsletter, The Bob Livingston Letter™ (subscription required). The USA Patriot Act is the most unpatriotic act passed since the early days of the republic, if not ever.

My repeated warnings about the growing police state and the rise of benevolent totalitarianism have often been greeted with charges of fear mongering or tin foil-hattery, first from supporters of the George W. Bush regime and now from supporters of the undocumented usurper who sits in the people’s house.

America is on life support. Unless the leviathan government is torn down to its Constitutional foundation, the country will rip itself apart. It may well be too late to prevent it.

The government, through its alphabet soup agencies and its surveillance apparatus, are terrorizing the American people. Terrorizing by government cannot survive against a well armed citizenry. That is why the elected class have pushed so hard to disarm the populace and why the Department of Homeland Security has been militarizing itself at breakneck speed.

    The IRS is quick to accuse people of trying to cheat the government. One of the most ridiculous happened to me back in 1970. I did my return and the day before I received my refund, I got a 3-page letter from them stating that I had made an error in my tax return that was 3 cents in my favor. No big deal. Then I continued reading. They basically accused me of making the error deliberately in order to cheat the government. I was told that should it happen again I could go to jail for five years and be fined $5,000 or both. That letter they sent cost them more than my 3-cent error.

    I was audited twice before I was 30 years old. And like articles everywhere have stated – “That awful gut wrenching feeling you get when you received ANYTHING in the mail from the IRS” This is a feeling you can not describe or really understand until you receive one. In both instances, I was able to prove the IRS was WRONG in their claim but that’s not the point. The threats in the letters they sent me scared the crap out of me and made me believe if I didn’t pay up NOW life as I knew it would soon be over. I was 22 when I received my first letter for an audit I filed when I was 18. Of course I believed what these jerks said.

    Usually it’s folks who are trying to cheat on their taxes who get that “chill down their spine”. If you’ve done nothing wrong you have nothing to worry about. And the contention that taxes are not needed is so dumb that anyone who says it should have their head examined.

        Federal duties and imposts, such as tariffs, funded the gov’t adequately for most of our history until the 16th Amendment (direct income taxation was used a few times, such as during the Civil War, but only temporarily in light of increased temporary needs of the gov’t).

        As stated above, personal income taxes were levied originally as wealth redistribution measures (socialism), not as means of increasing gov’t revenues for operating costs.

        Oh don’t worry. I am totally aware that there are some Americans who cannot conceive of the fact that good ideas and policies can come from other countries. This is a well known aspect of U.S. culture. Probably this myopic attitude contributes to the mess that America is in.

        So, for example, there was another big shooting/killing spree just the other day. Not as bad as when all those children got blown away but still pretty shocking. This doesn’t happen up here because we are not a gun/death loving culture.           I pay import tax on cars made in Ontario.

          I am allowed to skydive and smoke, but not allowed too drive without a seat belt.

          All the money I make up until mid July must go to paying taxes. I live and work among people who believe Americans are ignorant. These same people cannot name this country’s new Territory.

          Although I am sometimes forced to live on Kraft Dinner and don’t have a pot to piss in, I sleep well knowing that I’ve helped purchase a nice six figure home in Vancouver for some unskilled Chinese refugee.

          Although they are unpatriotic and constantly try to separate, Quebec still provides my nation’s Prime Ministers. 95% of my nation’s international conflicts are over fish.

          I’m supposed to call black people African Canadians, although I’m sure none of them have ever been to Africa, or east of Halifax for that matter.

          I believe that paying a 200% tax on alcohol is fair. I believe that same tax on gasoline is also fair.

          Even if I have no idea what happened to that old rifle my grandfather gave me when I was 14, I will be considered a criminal if I don’t register it.

          I often badmouth the United States, and then vacation there three times a year.

          I’m led to believe that some lazy ass unionized broom pusher who makes $30 an hour is underpaid and therefore must go on strike, but paying $10 an hour to someone who works 12 hour shifts at forty below on an oil rig is fair.

          I believe that paying $30 million for 3 stripes (The Voice of Fire) by the National Art Gallery was a good purchase, even though 99% of this country didn’t want it, or will ever see it.

          When I look at my pay stub and realize that I take home a third of what I actually make, I say “Oh well, at least we have better health care than the Americans”.

          I must bail out farmers when their crops are too wet or too dry, because I control the rain.

          My National Anthem has versions in both official languages, but I don’t know either of them.

          Canada is the highest taxed nation in North America, the biggest military buffer for the United States, and the number one destination for fleeing boat people.

            The violent crime rate in Canada has gone down slightly in recent years from a peak in the early 1990s.

            For instance, in the year 2004, the violent crime rate fell 2%, making it 10% lower than a decade earlier.

            However, it was still 35% higher than 20 years ago (Source: Statistics Canada, The Daily, July 21, 2005).

            To put the slight decreases in perspective, between 1962 and 2006, the violent crime rate in Canada, per 100,000, went from 221 to 951, or a 300%+ increase.

            According to the Canadian Council on Social Development, “The overall crime rate in Canada rose steadily from 1960 to 1990, it peaked in 1990/91, then started dropping throughout the 1990s. These fluctuations are attributed in part to the “baby-boom” and “baby-boom echo”, where the proportion of Canadians between the ages of 15 and 25 was very high for many years before it dropped sharply — by 18% — in 1991. Despite decreases in both the proportion of teens aged 15 to 19 and crime rates in the 1990s, overall rates of violent crime are still three times higher than they were in the 1960s, and rates of property crime are twice as high.” (Canadian Council on Social Development, Crime Prevention Through Social Development)

            A report on youth crime released by the Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics in May 2008 (for 2006) stated that while overall crime rates have dropped, youth violent crimes have increased 30 per cent since 1991. Violent crime has risen 12 per cent in the last ten years among youths, while the overall violent crime rate in Canada declined 4 per cent in the same time period.

            Youth homicide rates have risen 41 per cent since 1997, one of the largest increases in the last ten years, a trend that Dr. Nick Bala, a youth justice expert at Queens University, calls “worrisome”, something of an understatement. (Source: May 17, 2008, Globe and Mail)

            In Crime Statistics in Canada, 2007, Juristat, Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics, the chart below appears.

            It shows that youth violent crime has doubled since 1987. It appears to be the blending of property and violent crime statistics that results in the “decreases” in youth crime reported by some.

            The Freemasons were founded in 1163 A.D. by Thomas ‘Elsie’ Elliot and Sidney ‘Vera’ Thornton, disgruntled bricklayers from Hull, England. The GOP will eventually return to Germany when the Germans forget that they can’t win any World Wars.

            Shortly after the 1855 scandal in which Republican Party Chairman Snidely Whiplash masturbated the Party Mascot in the middle of the White House lawn (like most Republicans, he really had a thing for elephant cock), the Party knew they needed a little public relations pick-me-up and nothing washes away the sight of a well-tailored man jerking off a pachyderm than an acronym.

            So the Republican soldiers, commonly referred to as the SS, laced up their jackboots and goose-stepped it into the streets to round up anyone they believed could help them create this glorious acronym – mainly, those with improper melanin amounts, lesbians and people with French-sounding surnames. These people were then thrown into special “creative camps” where they could work on this task without any distractions or basic human rights.

            They were never heard from again. But thankfully, the Republicans got their beloved acronym…GOP.

            Early Years

            Pike was born Alousious Thornton Hannity December 25, 1799. His parents were reformed reformist reforming missionaries teaching the missionary position to American natives in the Southwest.             The movement has no national platform, but local chapters spend hours assembling statements of positions, which may include the following planks:

            Repeal everything Obama has done. Then impeach the bastard. Bush as well.

            Immediately close the border, to illegals, legals, tourists, and especially Mexican trucks, which are unsafe.

            Pay back the national debt. But don’t touch my Social Security check.

            Punish everyone who makes more money than I do, and keep them out of politics.

            And get Judge O’Donoghue out of Probate Court. He always gives everything to the woman in divorces. I should know.

            Tea Party platforms sometimes coincide with things that Republicans say, before they actually get elected and find more lucrative rackets.

            Tea Party meetings unite dozens eager to be listened to by powerful people for the first time ever, as well as many members of the Republican andDemocratic committees–brimming with ideas for infiltrating and co-opting those organizations, as though the opposite were not under way–and members of the Congressman’s staff, public-employee unions, and the Bar Association. A typical Tea Party meeting gets sidetracked into discussions of the Illuminati and other business cabals that are secretly steering the U.S. toward a one-world government they would run, despite being unable to stop the 35% corporate income tax rate.

            The movement is still hunting for a national voice.

            Being officially unorganized and local, the Tea Party has no national spokespersons–only persons who want to ride it for political advantage.

            If the movement were to acquire a national spokesperson, it would have to be someone who, like themselves, was a demonstrable moron on questions of geography, history, current events, and civics.

            The leader would have to proudly be disconnected from, and uninterested, in America’s institutions of culture and higher learning; with no concept of theIvy League beyond the outfield wall at Wrigley Field.

            The Tea Party, after all, is a group of novices who believe they could run the government if they could simply get rid of all the people with eloquence, competence, and ideology–you know, the insiders–replacing them with people with naïvete and ineptitude rivaling their own.

            Unfortunately, George W. Bush is out of office and he’s not coming back.


            During the 2012 Presidential campaign, national commentators such as Al Franken exposed that the “Taxed Enough Already” acronym was an obvious cheap shot at President Obama’s status as an African American. This was the first of many analyses that showed the movement’s policy positions, such as adherence to the Constitution, to be simple white racism.

            The movement found several spokespersons, meeting the description in the previous section, to nominate against Obama, such as Michelle Bachmannand Herman Cain; and watched incredulously as their respective campaigns each achieved what plane-crash investigators call “a ground loop based on pilot error.” The Republican Party at large did exactly what it had done two years before the birth of the two-year-old movement: It nominated an old guywho had done great things in the past and whose turn it clearly was to be the nominee, despite seeming not to know what he wanted to achieve as President.

            The post-mortems of the 2012 disaster reveal that the number of unimpressed Obama supporters was exceeded only by the millions of unimpressed Tea Party voters. The Tea Party’s apathy carried the day — and Obama carried the Electoral College. The mass media took this result as proof that the Tea Party’s influence had finally come to an end.

            2007, StatsCan looked at Canada’s murder rate among 15 countries. In that limited sample, Canada was decidedly middle of the pack. Its rate of 1.8 murders per 100,000 people was slightly lower than New Zealand, and slightly worse than Northern Ireland.

            Actually I did major in history at two universities and subsequently taught history at the high school level for 28 during which time I was able to acquire quite a bit of knowledge on a number of topics. I have traveled extensively in Europe and the middle east as well as in the U.S.A., Japan, and Thailand and Morocco. But I’m sure you are a lot better educated than I am.

            I have read three of Ann Coulter’s books. I don’t agree with all of her views but I can tell you (because you probably haven’t read her stuff) that she is an excellent writer. Her turn of phrase is spot on and she gets you to laugh out loud. She did a number of airport security (she’s against it of course) that had me laughing days later. I’ve never seen her live but apparently when it’s not in print she is pretty nasty – some say she is racist and comes down “unfairly” on certain ethnic groups that would make a Canadian audience cringe. And up here we have pretty stern laws against inciting hate against identifiable groups. But, again, I can’t say much more because I have never been to one of her talks. Generally I’ll trust the heads of universities, however, over a right wing idealogue..

We have universal health care and discussions are under way to introduce pharmacare so that people who get sick don’t also have to go bankrupt because that is an enlightened way to live. I guess that does curtail the free speech of these various American loonies but we don’t get too excited about that because we tend to be pragmatic and remain fair minded and decent.

            I had a feeling being the clod that you are that you would latch on to my use of the word kingdom. Here’s the thing you would not naturally be aware of: a number of years ago a Canadian author publishes a Canadian history book called “The Peaceable Kingdom.” it refers to the notion that we are an agreeable people for the most part etc., etc. It seemed right for me to use that concept in my previous posting to express the same notion but of course you would be unaware of the hidden meaning given your main goal of simply finding fault.

            In any case officially we are, indeed, a constitutional monarchy. Her majesty Queen Elizabeth II is the Queen of Canada as well as of other former British colonies. She has, however, no real power over anything other than cutting ribbons and kissing babies. But if you wish to think of Canada as some medieval fiefdom that’s your perogative.

The Liberal Party of Canada was soundly defeated at the last election. I guess for some Americans like yourself it is, indeed, difficult to imagine that there could be a country that was actually peaceable given all the violence in action and in spirit that exists in the U.S. & A. but there you have it. You should actually take a month vacation up here perhaps even this summer. See what it is like to take a stroll on any street in this entire country and not have the feeling that you are about to get hit over the head with a baseball or get shot by some loonie.     A few clarifying points about Beardsley Ruml’s speech before the ABA in 1946:

    First, his speech was given not as an argument against the personal income tax, but against the corporate income tax. He rightly claims that such a tax has no benefits. The three consequences are that such a tax increases prices, reduces wages and results in lower returns to the stockholder. He also decries the unfair “double taxation” feature, whereby corporate profits are taxed, then dividends are taxed from the redistributed profits.

    Secondly, he states that “federal taxes can be made to serve four principal purposes of a social and economic character.” Specifically, the purpose of personal income taxes is “to express public policy in the distribution of wealth and of income, as in the case of progressive and estate taxes.”

    In other words, personal income taxes arose as an outcome of national policy of wealth redistribution, not to cover the costs of operating government. This tax is therefore, by definition, socialistic.

    As Mr. Ruml states, “these taxes should be defended and attacked in terms of their effects on the character of American life, not as revenue measures.”

      Clinton’s Hillary Care program had two clauses in it such that if you obeyed one, you broke the other. There was also a clause that said if you broke ANY part of the program the government had the right to seize everything you had to enforce the program. When questioned about this by a (DEMO) Congressman, Clinton agreed that these were there and insisted they were there to allow the government to shut down any person who caused the government problems. That was the reason it was never supported and passed even by the Democrats.

    Amid the revelations that the National Security Agency has been secretly monitoring the records of millions of phone calls across the country via telephone service provider Verizon, Congress is concerned that the NSA’s actions may have also captured phone calls of lawmakers and their staffers. It should be noted that Verizon is one of the main service providers to government issued Blackberries members and their staff use to communicate with one another.

    I think if we can’t abolish the 16th ammendment we should be able to at least push the one big problem which is you are guilty until you can prove your not totally 100% opposite of our Constitution your not guilty until they can prove you are.

      It would be nice but won’t be done until we get a new Congress and President (and SCOTUS). Their argument is that if there is a problem it is your fault whether it is accidental or not. If accidental, you will pay and not argue. If you are argue, it is obvious that you are guilty.

    The IRS is best known for the “Guilty until YOU prove you’re innocent” among the government agencies but several other agencies do the same thing, such as the TSA. Many are getting worse every year about this. “Innocent until they prove you are guilty” mean nothing to them anymore. The IRS (which I call the “InFernal Revenue Service”) has their own courts to try your case if you appeal – and they almost always find for the IRS. As one told an accountant friend, “We always assume the agent is doing what he is supposed to do and you are complaining just to cause him trouble.”

    Phone messages (and fax and computers) have been monitored since Clinton’s time when he got the “Privacy Improvement Act” passed. All communication equipment has a chip that records everything. Once a day or so, a computer in Washington connects and copies all the info. The messages are then scanned by computer and any code words identified in a message gets the message passed along to a human to consider. This new exposure is simply known because of the press. It has always happened.
    But the real problem (to me) is spy satellites. (Check and you will find that the first thing Oblama did as President (his first term) was to approve sending several more into orbit.) Over 60% of all US spy satellites are pointed at the US. Over 90% of the rest are pointed at Europe or Russia. They take a picture of every place in the US every 4 seconds. These are archived. There was a brief aricle in a paper about 1970 or so where a private investigator who had a friend working at the archive was able to get photos to solve a murder case in LA. It was put in the paper one time. The PI was fined and his friend went to jail over it. The Oklahoma City bombing found them using this to identify and track McVey. If you remember, the policeman who arrested McVey only a couple of hours after the attack had a photo of McVey. The satellites (in 1970) are able to read a newspaper on the ground from orbit and can identify heat signatures of people through roofs. Coupled with identify recognition software now in use, they can literally follow you anywhere except deep underground – and when you come out they have you again. Your only safety comes from staying out of their attention circle.

    Repeal the Sixteenth Amendment and the IRS becomes moot. The Sixteenth provides reason for the IRS so repeal effectively disestablishes this obnoxious agency.

    Finance.yahoo.com had a poll today about the exposure of the Government Surveillance Program. 55% of the respondents thought Snowden’s exposure of the program was the “right move”. But a whopping 31% thought he was a “traitor”.

    Proof positive now, that we (America) are a surveillance state,
    and we are also convinced that the ‘government’ employs its snooping
    methods to cajole or otherwise blackmail Congressmen and Senators
    to do their bidding in voting for destructive bills, such as Obamacare,
    the Farm Bill and the immigration reform bill (gang of eight).
    It all makes perfect sense now, as we observe the ramifications of five
    on-going scandals and the widespread wiretapping corruption of the White House. the NSA, the IRS, the EPA, the HHS and ad infinitum.
