Teacher Fired For Bikini Modeling Side Job
STUART, Fla., (UPI) — A Florida teacher was fired on National Teacher Day after the principal learned about her second job as a bikini model.
The South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Olivia Sprauer, a 26-year-old single mother of two, was fired April 29 from her job as a ninth grade English teacher at Martin County High School in Stuart after the principal discovered she had modeled beachwear.
“It was just a way to pay my rent in a safe part of town,” Sprauer said of her side gig.
The school cited a policy stating teachers are to be “held to a high moral standard.”
