  • If you like your health insurance plan, you might still be out of luck. At least if you live in one of the seven States that have rejected the President Barack Obama’s proposal to allow health insurance companies to renew plans not in compliance with the Affordable Care Act.   • In answer to a recent poll question asking whether Americans approve of Obama’s handling of the implementation of the healthcare law, The Washington Post poll found that 63 percent of Americans disapproved compared with 33 percent who approved. That’s near the same level of unpopularity the Iraq war achieved under Obama’s predecessor. A TIME poll taken before the 2006 election found 65 percent disapproved of President George W.   • Many doctors are disturbed that they’ll be paid less — often a lot less — to care for the millions of patients who are projected to buy coverage through the Affordable Care Act’s new insurance marketplaces. Some have complained to medical associations — including those in Texas, California, Georgia, Connecticut and New York — saying the discounted rates could lead to a two-tiered system in which fewer doctors participate, perhaps making it harder for consumers to get the care they need.   • Climate change alarmists have turned to recruiting sports leagues to promote eco-hysteria. Democrats in Congress are calling on the major sports leagues to promote climate change regulation and to answer what they are doing to limit greenhouse gases. Democratic legislators from the Bicameral Task Force on Climate Change announced that they will host major sports league officials in “a closed-door discussion” today.
