I’ll drink to that ! Snowden done the right thing , for his country ,people , and the world , exposing the snakes at the NSA .

    • StinkBomb Jones

Yes, He did the right thing, but I still feel he should come here & face the music! If he really loves his country & wants to see changes to these violations, he needs to be here & energize his supporters who would come out in droves & demand his swift release or a light sentence…it’s be a helluva showdown with throngs in the streets from the Left & Right seeking mercy & justice! Just like Socrates in Athens, who preferred death as an Athenian to life in another state…to me this is the more honorable path & one that would show beyond a shadow of a doubt what his true intentions were!

      • Karll

If he did come back, I wouldn’t put it past this admin to “make him disappear”, make it look like an accident and then lie like hell while the left stream media carries their water.

        • StinkBomb Jones

I absolutely agree that they would think about doing that, & it would not surprise me if he did, but he’s so high profile I’m not sure they would pull the trigger & try it….Obozo & his corrupt Chicago-style thuggish cabal make Nixon & his crew look like Boy Scouts!

          • Robert Messmer

Don’t think they would hesitate a minute once they got him back…..probably wind up in Gitmo with less tender treatment than given to the other prisoners. And never be seen or heard from again.

Nixon and Kissmyass would have liked to do that to D. Ellsberg, but he’s still alive and kickin.

I think Tricky Dicky would’ve liked to do that to a few more people Than Ellsberg

We need a Constitutional Amendment that says an individual who defends the Constitution or the rights of the individual cannot be convicted of any offense by performing the same act.

        • StinkBomb Jones

I hear what you are saying, but, not so easy to prove that in court of law. Snowden signed an agreement not to disclose what was going on & what was going on was supposedly OK ‘ed by a federal judge. One would have to prove the whole stinkin’ process was UnConstitutional!

          • Robert Messmer

A secret federal judge and personally I can’t find anywhere in the Constitution where a secret judge is legal. Violation of every American citizen’s rights to be secure…. No warrants to be issued without probable cause…. Maybe doesn’t even need an amendment since he only exposed illegality but sure don’t know where he would get a lawyer (team) willing and able to go up against Eric Holder and other thugs. Some transparency our President is giving us.

          • StinkBomb Jones

There would be plenty of lawyers willing to defend him & take on the thugs in Washington

          • Jimmy the Greek

Holder is a afermative action lawyar

      • Jimmy the Greek

Your kidding right , they would ship him to the super max and he would never be herd from agen. He is much better off were he is , fliping the bird at washington .

        • StinkBomb Jones

The people would demand he be heard from again!

          • Jimmy the Greek

Right ! he could fall down the stairs , or even jumped out of the airplane on the ride back . He well live fine in Russia , It is not the old USSR as America is not what it was in the hay day .

    • coal miner

      Jimmy,
You are right. Snowden did the right thing. It took a lot of courage o come out expose these rascals.

  • Warrior

$66,471.00? Well, that should get “snowden” back in the “middle class” for about a year. However, if he donates it to his favorite charity, it will come back in multiples!

    • WHITE WOMEN EVERYWHERE

How about Organize For Change? Wouldn’t that be money well spent?

  • usaok59

Great idea. Hope he wins. We owe him a lot and he’s gotten the dirty end of the stick from America.

  • wandamurline

The Patriot Act comes up for renewal again in 2015….NSA, Homeland Security, TSA at airports come under this unconstitutional piece of crap legislation. We need conservative constitution representation in the House and Senate….we need to keep the House and take the Senate in 2014, so the Patriot Act can be repealed. Snowden needs the award, he deserves it.

Like the frogs in the pot,we knew this is what the inteligence community was doing all along…but cudos for this guy waking us from our stupor before we were boiled, You’ve got to admire a guy with character in a world that is becoming berefit of it. There are heroes among us that should be getting the medals, not the likes of zeroe and shrillery.

    • Karll

We knew, and we were called “tin foil hat wearers”.

  • Debbie Hogan Tate

I hope he wins it! He is a hero in my book! He brought to light just how corrupted our government is! He deserves it!

  • IBCAMN

    bravo,bravo……
