Across America it seems chaos and government oppression are the new order.

Violent mobs are gathering in cities large and small and looting stores and terrorizing communities and theme parks. Thieves are stealing air conditioners from churches and schools, manhole covers from streets, copper from electrical substations, street signs from city roads and hay from petting zoos. Home and automobile burglaries are being reported in increasing numbers.

Local police officers are becoming more militarized and more dangerous and oppressive, arresting people for photographing landmarks and detaining them for taking video of trains, train stations, public buildings and interactions with public figures. When serving warrants, no longer do officers knock on the door and give the subject of the warrant an opportunity to comply. The new normal is to crash through the door with guns drawn, prepared to shoot anything that moves, according to a report by the Cato Institute.

The health police have run amuck. In Detroit, a woman had her daughter taken away by a SWAT team because she decided the treatment a doctor had prescribed was doing more harm than good. It took more than a month for the courts to overturn the actions by the Michigan Department of Human Services and release the daughter from the “protective custody” that resulted in her being sexually assaulted, according to an attorney representing the girl.

In 2009, during the run-up to passage of Obamacare — a proposal that more than 60 percent of Americans opposed at the time — Congress ignored its rules of procedure and mocked opponents who gathered outside the Capitol building protesting. Congress, which is supposed to represent the will of the people, instead represents its own interests and those of the corporations that fill campaign coffers.

Even now — in negotiation over raising the debt ceiling by imposing higher taxes rather than making significant spending cuts — it is opposing the will of Americans who elected a Republican majority in the House hoping to see reduced spending in Washington.

The effect of the battle in Washington, which has nothing to do with doing what is right for America and everything to do with enriching and entrenching the political elites and their cronies, is trickling down to local government. For while the Federal government has long been a thugocracy, now we are seeing the thugocracy metastasize like a cancer.

In Quartzite, Ariz., city council members had police wrest the microphone from a woman who had been given the floor. Jennifer “Jade” Jones, a gadfly described as a blogger and vocal critic of local government, was apparently bringing up subjects the council didn’t want to hear. Or didn’t want the public to hear.

After a video went viral that showed the fascist police officers obeying their SS superiors on the council — and ignoring Mayor Ed Foster’s demands to let Jones speak — Police Chief Jeff Gilbert encouraged the council to declare a state of emergency. They did so following a closed meeting that some believe violated the State’s open meetings laws.

Things are apparently just as bad in Gould, Ark., where the city council has decided the Bill of Rights doesn’t apply.

A new ordinance passed there bans the Gould Citizens Advisory Council from doing business in Gould because it “is, in effect, causing confusion and discourse among the citizens of Gould and as a result is contributing to the friction not only between the Mayor and Council but also among the citizens who deserve a cooperative government. Also no new organizations shall be allowed to exist in the City of Gould without approval from a majority of the City Council,” according to the ordinance.

University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law Dean John Pippa told Fox16: “I couldn’t believe that it was real when I first read it. The truth is, the city of Gould doesn’t have the authority to tell anyone that they have no right to petition them, no right to speak and no right to exist in their city.”

“That’s why you have a higher court,” Council member Sonja Farley told Fox16. “To keep order when people can’t keep order. That’s why you have a council.”

But now that council, according to its own ordinance, can’t lawfully meet and discuss city business with the citizens it supposedly represents.

Not even little girls or home gardeners are safe from the new thugocracy. In Midway, Ga., police put an end to a lemonade stand being run by three girls who were trying to earn money for a trip to a water park. The reason: They didn’t have a business license or the required permits (which would cost $50 per day or $180 per year).

Police chief Kelly Morningstar said police didn’t know how the lemonade was made, who made it or what was in it.

In Oak Park, Mich., Julie Bass faced jail time for growing vegetables in planters in her front yard. Vegetables are not considered suitable, live, plant material under the city’s code. A judge dismissed the charges; but then the city, in an obvious case of piling on, cited her for not having licenses for her two dogs that live inside her house.

The elected elites and bureaucrats occupying the halls of government no longer represent the people. They represent themselves and those who can give them the biggest favors.

In Alabama, some current and former legislators, lobbyists and two gambling magnates are on trial on bribery-related charges. The lobbyists, who agreed to testify as part of their guilty pleas, have described how they promised campaign cash, do-nothing jobs and other favors at the behest of the gambling magnates to legislators in exchange for support for a pro-gambling bill the gambling bosses supported.

Cash and favors in exchange for legislation are being portrayed by defense attorneys as standard operating procedure in Alabama. That’s certainly the case in Jefferson County, Ala., where a number of county commissioners and county bureaucrats are serving sentences for corruption relating to financial shenanigans with big banksters that have left the county on the brink of filing the largest municipal bankruptcy in United States history. Unfortunately, it seems none of the banksters will ever see the inside of a jail cell.

Governments hate freedom. But the laws they pass to “keep order” only create more chaos. It’s happening right now on a Federal level, where government and Federal Reserve policies have created an entitlement mentality, bubbles and busts leading to high unemployment, default, currency collapse, uncertainty and chaos.

In Washington, in Alabama, in Quartzite and Gould, and in towns and cities across the country, governments are ignoring Americans and creating more chaos, unrest and unhappiness. In response, citizens grow increasingly unruly. Many begin doing things they never would have considered before.

Gerald Celente was correct when he said: “When people lose everything and they have nothing left to lose, they lose it.”

We’ve already seen chaos in Europe and the Middle East. With rampant, long-term unemployment — the government’s skewed unemployment numbers show overall unemployment at 9.2 percent, but the rate is 16.2 percent for blacks — the loss of homes through foreclosure and class warfare being stirred up by politicians, is it any wonder that chaos is becoming the new normal?

    Last night, I was informed that thieves in the Phoenix area scour the community, looking for large (vacant) homes so they can steal the air conditioning systems [and whatever else might bring some quick cash].
    Apparently, banks that own the houses don’t make any effort to keep watch over the property they now own. Welcome to the new 1984, piggies.
    It needs to be said that this insanity is accelerating during the OBAMA administration. Do I expect him to rush to the aid of Phoenix bankers? Of course not, but it would be nice to think that he’s enough of a leader to protect America and uphold that OATH he took before he invaded the White House.
    Apparently, this too, is too much to expect. Gee, I thought that America’s new coalition of socialists, communists and fascists CARED about people. I guess that means they care only about THEMSELVES and POWER.

        Karolyn, I have lost two central air conditioning units in the last 45 days to these Obama chaos dispersers. If I happen to be lucky enough to catch them, they will have a terminal case of lead poisoning. Our police department is getting 3 to 4 reports of this type of theft each day. Our town is only 40K people, so they will have stolen every unit in town at least once before long. Thanks Obama for bringing chaos to the entire country, so maybe you can declare martial law, and become Der Fuerher.

Why? The American people are asleep at the wheel. They believe those who are passing his actions off as in experience etc. Nobody could screw up that bad with 100% record of screwing up. It is a plan of many years in the making and the gates are fixing to close on our freedom, which means the end of The U.S.A.             The chinese are not as strong as everyone thinks. They have one of the biggest speculative real estate bubbles in the world, that has been making it look like their economy is growing and it is not. They have massive buildings citing vacant. People buying condos that the average person can’t afford and the owners just let it sit vacant. If these places ever fill up it will overwhelm the infrastructure and the streets will be clogged with people and cars and over flowing sewers.

      Last April my son set an old steel bath tub and old plumbing in front of his garage in preparation for cashing it in at the recycler. He put it there on Friday night went to the lumber yard Saturday morning and came home to find it all gone. Absolute broad daylight!

      His garage sits a good 50 feet back from the road. His fiancé said she saw someone in the road out front, but did not pay any attention. The sheriff’s deputy said he had scrap stolen from behind his garage.

      From what I have heard these thieving b*stards roam around in their pickups looking for things to steal and the opportunity to steal them.

        Yep, this happened at my sister’s house in Ft. Worth last August. Scrap metal there one hour, gone the next. I live in Costa Rica and they steal the metal off bridges, cooper from wires, anything, even nailed down. The vandalism is senseless. Can’t see it getting much better for a good while.

        Word is out hat my place is to be left alone. I have yet to have any one come and steal anything from me – but since I own a salvage yard, and process recyclables into reusable commodities – this is probably the only way to keep what I have from the thieves. Even my home seems to be immune from thieves. But then, since I live in the country, strangers, riding around in their vehicles, looking for stuff to steal; don’t fit in with us local folks. We ain’t got time to catch then and cart them off to the local jail; so we just string them up.

        This is a problem that speaks to who we are as a people and to just how far down we have sunk into the gutter…. The white house is working diligently on bringing the financial crises to an end (by destroying our economy)… This is the beginning of the kind of behavior thay are waiting for,so as to protect itself against we the people….Things will accelerate the closer we get to the election…

      Having worked in the foreclosure department of a major bank’s mortgage division that eventually merged with Bank of America, I know for a fact that the banks hire local property managers and law firms to take care of these properties. However, the property management companies are usually small companies that cannot maintain the security and services on the many foreclosed homes now, so they are spread thin. They do basic services (winterize them, secure them, and then they do spot checks). I wouldn’t be surprised, either, if some of these property management employees are in on it, because they would know which properties are vacant and what they contain. But it is NOT the federal government, or even the local government’s, responsibility to police private homes and businesses. They can do nothing more than drive by and spot check, unless they suspect criminal activity, such as the property becoming a drug house (crack house, etc.). And really, do you think they’re gonna do that? It doesn’t contain people who are going to plot the overthrow of the government and their cushy jobs!

City of Tucson has passed or is a-fixin’ to pass a new ordinance that will levy a $13 users fee on every ticket issued for a misdemeanor. So let’s go hassle honest folk trying to make a living, since the criminals might shoot back.

          The police state is real in Tucson, now that the mexican drug cartels own the TPD and the sheriff’s office.

          How about a million man march on DC by the Quail Hunters of America with 12 guage shotties loaded with 00 buck mags? Works in Houston for Quannell (sp?) X. Google it – while you can.

          No, I don’t know who the Quail Hunters of America are. But I’d gladly be one of them….

      Same in most of the large cities in Texas. Unfortunately most of the crimes are committed by Mexicans. A lot of them here illegally. Once they are arraigned ICE should be processing them, but they are not. They aren’t even coming to check them. Nice to know our federal government is out there working for the common man and helping stem crime.

      The emboldened thieves should be no surprise. When we stop enforcing laws selectively, why should be surprised if people start behaving as if laws are optional? Why do people like me say that you must enforce immigration laws before you can have meaningful immigration reform? Why if you truly care about the welfare and safety of those who have fled their countries because of unlawfulness, that the first thing you have to do is enforce the laws here. Because as we have been teaching our youth, our illegal immigrants, the “minorities”, and our politicians… we’ve been teaching them for a long time that abiding by the laws are entirely optional. So why are we surprised when everyone and their dog behaves as if laws are optional? So we first teach them our people to break the law is okay as long it is the laws we say it is okay to break, and then we wonder when they start breaking the other laws?

      Sure, some people are desperate. But how many of those stealing and looting are those who working hard honest jobs a year ago and after a year of conditioning on the government “teat” have become the people who are now looting to make ends meet? How many come from broken homes encouraged through government education that tells us that we are greater than our Christian ancestry and morals? That we should be having sex with prevention instead of maybe living by those archaic Ten Commandments? We created this problem over a long time. It is just accelerating under an administration that has such ingrained objection for the Rule of Law that the administration will even sue our own States for enforcing the laws that the federal government refuses to enforce.

    The thieves around here are going after copper tubing–like it was gold. As far as the banks are concerned–they have ripped off people for years and years. They should take care of their own security. Besides, exactly how much is too much when it comes to interference with businesses, etc. we do want smaller government don’t we? There is bitching and moaning about the situation either way.

      right on claire. what a lot of people don’t know is the banks forclose on people and sell the property cheap because the governent is basically paying the bamks the difference of what they get from what was owed. essentially the banks are getting bailed out at tax payer expense and the people who got forclosed on just lose their house. dont forget the banks gave out loans they knew the people could not afford and knew the government would bail them out. too big to fail but you and me are just fine to fail. thats the obama way. where i live in florida my county has 30% vacant homes now and rising and unemployment is around 17%. hope and change.

      Thanks to thieves I just purchased a foreclosure home for retirement.
      I got it cheap because it had been stripped of copper wiring and AC tubing as well as the coils in a second AC system.
      The other thieves are contractors like the one quoting here to rewire.
      They wanted $12,000 to $14,000 to rewire.
      Quote said it would take four men anywhere from four days to two weeks.
      Since I’m quite capable, I purchased the copper needed for just over $300.00 and did the wiring myself.
      One man four days.
      Also since I’m capable and licensed I purchased the copper tubing the AC unit that needed it. Did the work myself.
      Saved almost $3500.00. HUmmmmmmm.
      The other unit, “a package heat pump” was so torn up I just said to heck with it and went shopping on Ebay.
      Found just exactly what I was looking for.
      Bought it for $32.00.
      Nope that is not an error. I got it for $32.00.
      Shipping cost me almost $450.00.
      So what. A refurbished unit of the same model would have cost me $4200.00.
      So I got the unit. Repaired the screwed up wiring at the control board done by a really stupid person. Took me about an hour to get to the bottom of his errors and fix it.
      It didn’t need any servicing beyond that so for about $475.00 I replaced the unit for what a contractor would have charged me over $4000.00 for then installation on top of that.
      I never did ask anyone as I knew better.
      So yes the thieves are here and I’m waiting for them!
      I will not call 911.
      The wild hogs will take care of the remains.

        I live in a small town in Alabama, and in the last 45 days, I have been a victim of the central A/C unit thieves twice, one an older unit, and the other was a brand new unit. The investigating officer told me that the thieves were getting 3 or 4 units a day. This type of anarchy has been exacerbated by the Obama myrmidons. They are also stealing catalytic convertors off of parked vehicles. Two local funeral homes have lost about six from their funeral coaches. Our local police are overwhelmed by the Obama led crime wave.

    Unfortunately, the Thugocracy doesn’t stop at the police, its all the way to the White House and in our homes.. My husband and I have a couple who are very good friends of ours, who Two years ago they’re mortgage was sold to another loan company following the collapse of Taylor, Bean, and Whitaker._ and later_Only to find out that Freddie Mac Soley ownes the mortgage. These people from the get-go have had nothing but trouble with this new loan company. First there was a refusal by the loan company for this couple, to pay on line. Payments can only be made by mail. In the beginning there was a few times, it was stated by the loan company, that payments were not being made, when in fact payments were made, and the couple had a paper trail proof and had to prove it.
    In time the couple started to dig for info on the net and found, there is a host a people who are experiencing the same problems they are with this company. Such as none-escrowed loans, who’s taxes and insurances are being paid by the loan company, without being late, and without notification to homeowners, until months later. The loan officers are bullying people into agreement to addtional monthly charges, to cover, what the the loan company wasn’t liable for in the first place.
    Folks a word of caution, if your under a mortgage, make sure you know who REALLY owns your mortgage. Follow up and keep a paper trail on everything__Thugocracy & bullying isn’t only performed by those who have guns or tazers!_-As many a folk have found out,you call yourself “the Homeowner”_with a mortgage, try not paying your taxes for a while and see who really owns your home, it ain’t you!

      I recently went through foreclosure where the property auctioned off for what was owed, plus expenses. Under AZ state law, I now owe nothing. Just got a collection notice from FNMA via BofA for more than what was owed. Don’t know where the money went, but BofA got paid (according to the county recorder) and it appears FNMA didn’t. LOL.

          Maybe it’s because, couple of decades ago or so, I read about programs like MK-Ultra, where children were taken and mind-control experiments were done on them. They were deeply traumatized and programmed to respond when given a hypnotic signal, for this exact purpose: to carry out shootings and other mayhem in order to create a climate where government could restrict or eliminate our rights, and we’d be afraid enough to accept it.

          These shooters are not crazed amateurs, but are well-trained marksmen. And often, there are other shooters who are either not seen or not reported. In any case, they seem to have assistance of some kind.

          I believe that it is as I have maintained: there is a pool of trained shooters just waiting to be activated on cue. Now is the time when these children would be young adults.

        A month or so after the Oklahoma City bombing, a woman called in to a talk radio show here in Arizona, and said that several months prior to the bombing she had confronted several men who were blowing cars up near her ranch with fertilizer bombs. They identified themselves as agents of the Government and said they were studying the effects of fertilizer bombs on automobiles for forensic purposes. How come we don’t hear about these things in the news?

        Nice thought, but you have to realize that there are already more people getting assistance from the government than paying taxes. They will all vote democratic, since it’s their gravy train. Only when they realize that there is nothing left will they start to riot. No one should be allowed to vote that receives from the government (i.e., pays no taxes). But that ship sailed a long time ago, and we are stuck with those rules. So the democrats will continue to commit voter fraud, and actually, with so many on the take, thay may not even have to commit fraud anymore.
        The only course of action is to prepare for the worst – and it looks like it’s coming soon.

          I’m ready, looks like you might be.
          I have been steady excavating for over a year.
          So far I have a 12 ft by 14 ft room under ground.
          It is quite deep also.
          The ceiling is at 14 ft under ground. The floor is at 22 ft.
          That will stop Gamma radiation.
          It is set up so that it is under positive pressure when I seal it up.
          The vents are under ground and quite a way from the actual room I’ll be in.
          They also vent 14 ft under ground with double check balves. The exhaust gasses etc have to get up through the soil.
          No vent pipes to be found at the surface. Harder to find me that way.
          Also harder to put something in the room from above through vents.

          While completely sealed with my pets, my wife and one other person I have O2 etc for over 90 days. If I can get my air from outside I have water and food for three people, ten cats and two dogs for about four months.
          The place is really booby trapped well also.

          I have a large O2 supply as well as a CO2 absorber.
          Sort of like a nuclear submarine. Certainly not as sophisticated but works for me.
          As a test I ran my satellite down there and locked down for over a week.
          My air supply and CO2 absorbtion over that time using myself and two of my cats in the test is where I calculated my extended time from.
          I did use quite a bit more O2 as every day I was digging to make the room larger. Finally had to quit as the tails were just about to prevent my getting to the exit! :-)
          My H2O supply is very highly filtered. I have reverse osmosis to a level that removes all bacteria, virus etc that are harmful.
          Before I have to resort to that though I have to use over 450 gal of fresh water.
          What a way to live!

      He has enjoyed being compared to Abraham Lincoln. I personally think that the only thing about Lincoln that Obama admires is that Lincoln suspended the writ of habeas corpus, and (in a precedent for Moammar Khaddafy) used military force against his own people.

      When Obama was running for election, the media would have done far better to compare him to Robert Mugabe than to Lincoln or FDR. And his skin color has nothing to do with it. It’s what he stands for.

        I live in Vermont and when Howard Dean became our governor following the sudden death (heart attack) of Republican Richard Snelling (a good man) he made a point of being “tough on crime”. In other words, he locked up more people than his predecessor. We’ve had an overcrowding problem with our prison ever since.
        I suspect that Dean had national aspirations even then and that was part of the reason for his “tough” stance.

    Where I live on Sunday July 24th 2011 the {national weather and local weather} stated the following;
    {It would be a high of 96*, a low of 71*, we would have mostly clouds skys with showers both druring the day and night. With a Humidity of 44%.}

    What was the real weather; (it was 103* in the shade,) >112* in the sun,< we had bright sunny skys with light cloud cover, 61% Humidity, and not a drop of rain to be found. The low was 79*.
    On the other side of town it was the same as far as sunshine, but it was 107* in the shade, and 119* in the sunshine, with 68% humidity.

    Look folks if they can't tell you the truth about what your eyes see, what you skin feels, what your body tells you.
    Then how can you "believe anything" the Government tells you at all?

      I think using the weather as an example is stretching it a bit, TIME. The government isn’t in charge of or the weather channel or any local stations. Nobody can predict the weather exactly. What you cited is quite a disparity. Could it have been a mistake? I have never seen that happen here.

            As an Aviator, I’ve learned a lot about the weather, it can be hard to predict, but when they screw up as much as they do…’s not by mistake. Do yourslf a favor and learn a little something about the weather and forcasting. It’s not rocket science!

If local weather people try to soften the forcasts or reports so they don’t scare off tourists,then that is private biz and corporations doing,not the big bad gov’t.           You gentlemen are correct. If I recall correctly it was circa 1990 after we had that wonderful 120* degree day in June that the official temperature station at PHX was moved to a locatiion that stays about 10* cooler, so asd not to scare off the tourists.

          I am usually right with you on most things, but the temp thing is far off.

          I work in a business where calibrated thermometers are a necessity, currently the weather channel download on my computer says it is 104 here in Dallas, just went outside with my calibrated thermometer and the ambient air temp (temp in the shade) was 105 on concrete and 104 in a grassy area. It is known that our concrete jungles (and they have become jungles of survival of the fitest) will typically have higher temps than outlaying rural areas.

          I do however agree about moving temp stations to areas that area cooler, they did the same thing at DFW airport. Placing it in an area that is remote and not within 3-400 yrds of any concrete which will only produce temps of about 2-5 degrees cooler. Temps across the DFW area can vary by 2-10 degrees on any given day.

          I know we are feed alot of BS by government (we have John Wiley Price as our latest example), but the weather? I think they would rather tell what the weather really is so they can institute rolling blackouts to prove thier point of the necessity greater energy rules and regulations. What say you.

      TIME, right on. The news has been reporting record “highs” in various parts of the country…heat caused deaths, yet, I’ve heard but not confirmed that less than 0.4% of the reported temperatures around the country were above normal…go figure, afterall, it is summer isn’t it?

        Well, I heard this morning that on the east coast, this is the hottest summer in 15 years. When I moved to SC 6 years ago, it wasn’t this hot; neither was it as cold as it’s gotten in the winter. The Dallas area has had 30 days of triple digit temps. There is no normal anymore.

    Gas prices here jumped to $4 a gallon overnight, of course there is mass transit, which ironically is the reason our state has the highest gas taxes in the country. And the newsmedia is silent, as we have no republican in the White House to blame it on. Meanwhile, we’ll pretend that higher fuel prices doesn’t cause inflation, that it doesn’t make people cut discretionary spending, that it doesn’t prevent job openings, and doesn’t hurt the poor, who may decide it’s worth the risk of stealing something they can no longer afford. And end up justifying the increasing police state, which means more taxes, fines and fees to support it, from an ever dwindling source of private wealth. Leave your valuables in a safety deposit box, and the difference is that only the government can steal it.

It can easily be demonstrated factually that when the Bible and prayer wer taken out of the public schools and (eventually) out of the public arena, crimes of all sorts rose dramatically and standardized test scores fell. Even when the norms were “adjusted” more than six times, the scores continued to remain low. But then, when your own government doesn’t want people who think for themselves, this is the way to go, right. Think about it: if crime is up who do the people normally turn to? Their governments. And if people can no longer think for themselves, who does the thinking for them? The government, of course.

    Where I live there is very little crime. As i posted previously, there are always thieves who will target empty houses. It is a fairly low socio-economic area. Charlotte, NC is about 50 miles north of here; and actually, in the last couple of years, crime in Charlotte has dropped since they hired a new Police Chief. There was a mob problem on Memorial Day weekend where a mob of primarily kids went into a store late at night and started just taking things; but due to increased police presence, nothing happened over July 4th weekend. Nothing really new or unusual happening here.

    Crime Rates Down Across the Board – FBI

    The early returns are encouraging. According to the Preliminary Semiannual Uniform Crime Report, January-June, 2010, the nation saw a 6.2 percent decrease in the number of reported violent crimes and a 2.8 percent decrease in the number of reported property crimes compared to data for the same time frame during 2009.

    According to the FBI, murders dropped 7.1 percent in the first six months of 2010 while robberies decreased by 10.7 percent. Reports of vehicle thefts also dropped by 9.7 percent.

    FBI crime reports have shown a steady decrease in crimes rates since 2008. In the annual report for 2009, released in September, reports of violent crimes dropped 5.3 percent and reported property crimes fell 4.6 percent.

We have experinced more burglaries and vandalism in the last year than the previous 19 combined. My wife and daughter asked me; What is going on? I told them that this is what I predicted in May of 2008. We have never owned firearms until November 2008. People thought I was crazy. What do they think now?     I always get a good laugh or two out of the sensational writups on this site. The plan for the NWO has been building since JFK was assassinated. Every single president has been working for big business pushing for the NWO since. Democrat, Republican, they both have the same agenda! The difference is that they have slight differences in their policies that won’t affect the overall plan, in order to keep the public quiet. Not everyone is going to agree with one, so they created the other. They run with specific campaign promises, then they essentially go back on them, quoting progress or tax cutting from some program they implemented which isn’t what any logical citizen would define as such.

    Also, all of this violence has been going on for quite a while. Remember, it will always rise when there is extreme poverty. The unemployment rate is still above 9% so of course there is going to be more crime than before. People are hurting.

    Any of you that think that owning a rifle or a handgun is going to protect you from the US army coming in and forcing its will on you are simply dreamers. Why do you think that military spending is kept so high? To wage the war on terror, yeah sure tell me another. The war on terror is simply to make sure the world realizes that we are still on top. It also is to make sure we do not forget who is really in charge of our ‘freedom’.

    When you refer to liberals wanting handouts, there is no such thing. That was another ploy to get you to start believing that to be a liberal is bad or corrupt. People who are merely looking for handouts could care less of any ideologies or party affiliations. They will go with whomever gives them what they seek, with the least amount of effort. They are looking to suck the system, that is all. These individuals are aloof, apathetic and morally misguided. The have little passion, compassion or care.

    Please, stop polluting the real issues by such inane and devoid arguments and finger pointing, as that is unproductive, destructive and futile.         We are ALL being ripped off by the bigshots of industry. I just heard about 7 drugs that will lose their patent protection and will be available generically. One of them will go from $120 per month to $14! You cannot negate the disparity between the minimum wage and the cost of living either. It’s all disproportionate. Obviously, not everyone is going to go into business, not everyone wants to; but everybody should be able to make a living wage in order to live in this highly inflated world. Big business is comprised of users and abusers; and I don’t understand enyone sticking up for them.

            And if you’d do some reading, Karolyn, you would know that those drugs are terribly expensive largely because the drug companies must spend massive amounts of money jumping through the FDA hoops.
            But suppose that we had no FDA hoops, and completely Free Markets. Still some drugs might be very expensive. There are many reasons why. The research and development, or production expense leading up to their mass distribution might have been very expensive. Or they might just be charging what they can because nobody else has put the effort in to create such drugs, so they have no competitors. What’s the alternative, Karolyn — no such drug, so nobody even gets a chance to take them? That would be like a Liberal thinks — “I can’t have them so nobody should”.

What I want to know is why any time someone speak up against the abuses of corporate America, you respond with “It’s their money and they can do what they want.” (more or less). Corporate greed by way of crony capitalism is what I’m talking about. CEOs being paid exorbitant money for sitting on their butts, while laying off working Americans and over-working those that remain is just plain wrong. Why should they not have to pay for their privilege by way of closing the loopholes and taking them to task for sheltering their money? They need to shoulder their fair share of the burden. They’re taking us all for a ride. I am not for big government, and I have said that before. I’ve railed against Big Pharma for years, and I hold a companies like Monsanto in particular disdain.

            You make it sound so easy for people to just pool their money and start companies. Well, everybody is not built that way, and many of us are not particularly money-hungry and just want to have a decent life and not have to worry. That is getting harder and harder with the rich getting richer and not wanting to contribute to the welfare of this country but only to their own welfare.

      Minimum wage is aimed at teenagers in high school, college students, and those that are retired and wanting a little extra income. Only a fool would accept and keep a minimum wage job for life, and then complain that they need help to make it in life.

      To those I say, “you should have educated yourself, gone to a trade school, or went to college! Don’t blame those that make more than you! Everyone has to make a choice in life…and live with it. If you chose to work for minimum wage your whole life, you have made your choice and that is no one’s fault but your own, and don’t expect me to give to you, the money I made.

    from Kenya in her Russian language class.

    Dunham and Barack Obama Sr. were divorced around
    this time; however, no evidence has yet been presented
    to show they were ever married. The senior Obama
    obtained a masters degree in economics at Harvard and
    returned to Kenya in 1965 where he obtained a position
    in the Kenyan government. He was killed in an

    Two years later, when her son was five, Ann Dunham

    I happen to like the chaos. It may be the only tool we have to get rid of the draconian government.

    I remember reading once that in order to make a significant change in government, it would take 5% of the people to rise up and march on their oppressors. In a nation of 300 million + / – , that means 15 million people need to band together and march on Washington DC in order to affect change. This number is not un-attainable considering the amount of discourse in the nation. We don’t even need to be an armed group (although it would’nt hurt and may save some lives)….just that many people desending on DC would most likely do the job. It never ceases to amaze me that during the 60′s, a million man march was planned and executed using only word of mouth, the telephone and snail mail to accomplish their organization and execution of the march on Washington….and it paid off big for civil rights…..Yet now we have the internet at our disposal and rather than organizing the same type of march to “set things right”, we are deluged daily by all of these organizations and political action groups who only seem to want one thing…our money ( I see 20-30 in my junk mail box daily). They claim to be trying to change things, when in reality most of them are only helping themseves…to a hefty paycheck at our expense. If someone out there really wants to help, stop asking for money….and start organizing a march on DC….a march of 15 million pissed of,mad as hell Americans…that want their country back….at any cost, including laying down our lives for the cause of freedom and liberty. If I was more tech savvy with a community organization background I would be doing it myself….but alas, I am not. All of this talking and discussing of our grieviences is doing nothing to alleviate the problem…..only direct action and confrontation will ever change the status quo. In the meantime, all we are doing is blowing smoke. Certainly there is someone who reads this column who has the skills to start the ball rolling…..or at least knows someone….who can. Talk is fine….but action makes things happen.

    Whose side is our Federal Government on in respect of the over-throwing of the Egypt Head of Government? What about the civil-unrest taking place in Syria… whose side is our Federal Government on?
    Let us look at Libya! We see not only our Federal position being FOR the over-throw of Moammar Kadafi, we also see NATO positioned to impose upon a Nation the will of the people of that nation!

    Now, would NATO forces come to America in support of the American citizens if we were to over-throw our Federal Government? Would any other Nation come to the rescue of those American Citizens to help them break free from the observably tyrannical, self-serving, Machiavellian type of leadership being imposed upon them?

    We can easily observe the wrongs being done by heads of state and those running their state governments around the world. We can even see our own government doing something about some of it! But, what if the positions were switched?

    It became very obvious during his campaign that Barack Obama is a scumbag just as it became evident that Bill Clinton was a scumbag during his campaign. Obama’s goal from the beginning has been to turn America into a socialist society. I guess he figures that if he screws up the economy and everything else enough, he can declare marshal law and just take over. At first, I thought he was just an incompetent, who was nothing besides a lawyer, but his seeming ineptness is a genius plan for what he hopes to accomplish. He has openly expressed admiration for Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez, so it is clear where his sympathies lie. If he gets in for a second term, we will all be very soon saying Heil Obama. However, he is not completely to blame. There is a great line from Dire Straits “Making Movies” album that goes, “when you point your finger cuz your plan fell through, you got three more fingers pointing back at you”. Too many of us want the government to take care of us, and unfortunately all of us are getting too much government. I hope it is not too late.

      A local government here, Freeport, had a city meeting about five years ago or so. One citizen stood to comment on an issue before the city commissioners.

      He disagreed with one of the commissioners. The next morning, the commissioner called his boss at a plant here in town. The commissioner then told the boss that the man was to be fired.

      “I can’t do that,” the boss said. “It’s illegal!”

      “No, it isn’t,” the commissioner told him. “I’m the boss here in this town and you do what I tell you!”


      Too many of these people in small towns feel the same way.

    As a 71 year old senior recipient of government subsidy, I vehemently oppose Obama’s ideology and would gladly relinquish the assistance, difficult as it would be, if it meant saving our nation from total collapse which now seems inevitable.     They could always do as a small town north of Houston did several years ago.

    They had a serious problem with writing traffic tickets. Finally the local judge was sentenced to jail for another problem and they ran an election for a new city judge. The city had about 3000 people but had an interstate highway running next to it. They had sixteen cops, a chief of police draing about $120,000 a year salary, etc.

    The new judge ordered the chief of police to stop the ticket writing. The chief refused and informed the judge that HE was the one who decided and the judge HAD to enforce them. The judge locked the courthouse for three months. They ended up with one cop since no salary checks could be written and all ticket money had to be returned since no court was ruling on them. When a court suit was made insisting the judge didn’t have that right, the state supreme court ruled he did.

          Claire, I’ve done that and it’s been posted on several occasions by Kate8 also. HAARP(High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) isn’t a conspiracy, it is real. To what degree can HAARP effect or control wheather, earthquakes and such…who knows, but the technology has been developed and it is there.

          Remember the “fish & bird” die offs? That very well could be the results of HAARP experiments.

          What sounds like an engineering feat deserving of public accolade, has remained suspiciously low profile, almost unknown to most Alaskans as well as the rest of the country. The government wouldn’t tell us the truth about HAARP anyway.

    I have always been one to “Be Prepared.” My son, who is an Eagle Scout, often laughs at the extent to which I am prepared for emergencies.
    I’ll go back to the now infamous Katrina. 1)Although Ray Nagin had plenty of (city and school) buses on hand, he a) let them be ruined by flood waters, and b) instead of using those buses to evacuate the poor, he left them to fend for themselves. One third of his police force deserted. There were several hundred people who showed up with boats (to help evacuate people) who were turned away. Several truckloads of desperately needed water were also turned away. To make matters worse, the police personnel remaining were instructed to confiscate legally-owned guns. After the mess was (finally) cleaned up and Nagin had brand-new buses (on OUR dime!) He used them to pick voters up from the very cities that became evacuation centers to vote for him. Two days after he was re-elected, he said “I can’t do this job,” but did NOT resign.
    There was plenty of help available, but an inefficient government turned it away.
    My spouse and I have a couple of months’ worth of food that can either be eaten as is or prepared with water. I have bleach (3 drops can disinfect a gallon of water,) extra propane for my camp stove, and lots of spare ammo!

      “Public Servants” (like Police Officers) should not be so well paid or secure in their jobs they can relax. Those that do so should lose their jobs, immediately if not sooner. I, by the way, work at our local Police Department and most officers would agree with my statement.

      It’s a job you do because you “love it” or it’s a job you shouldn’t be doing. If your intention is not to “serve and protect” then you never should have been there to start with. The pay scale should be such that “no one” is there for the money, and psychological profiling should be routine to keep all the “cowboys” off the force, or at least, to remove them once they’re identified.

      If your neighborhood doesn’t feel safe and secure, organize your own “Neighborhood Watch,” which your local Police will most often be happy to help you accomplish. Such organizations make their job MUCH easier…

    Declaration of Individual Sovereignty

    It is clear from the history of mankind that the mainspring of human progress is a free mind in a free market – - the world of individual sovereigns. Realization of the positive fruits that flow from such a world demands personal reciprocity and commitment to the principles of voluntarism, peacefulness, and individual responsibility, within a societal structure based on codes of law, limiting governance to the primary function of maintaining lawfulness and peace and codifying fundamental rights like those enumerated in the United States Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America. The Constitution, while imperfect, was designed to protect established principles and individual rights derived from them.

    Those fundamental principles include the following:

    1. Each human being, because of the very nature of Mankind, is a unique and sovereign individual-each person is unique biologically, intellectually, and emotionally;

    2. As a sovereign being, it is the responsibility of each individual, through the application of their intellect and labor, to peaceably pursue their own sustenance and that of others they choose to care for;

    3. To successfully pursue sustenance and self-actualization, individuals must be free to choose those options in life, which, in their own judgment, are most consistent with their nature and life goals;

    4. To secure those options, individuals must claim rights. Rights are spheres of individual action, inviolable by other individuals, necessary to the pursuit of individual goals and protection from non-peaceful and predatory actions of other people (enemies – - individual or collective). Such Rights include, but are not limited to the following:

    The individual possession and use of weapons to inhibit and repel enemies, particularly to hold in check predatory tendencies of government. The security of all other rights depends on this fundamental right of individual self-defense;

    Responsible use of spoken, written, or other means of expression;

    Unencumbered public or private religious worship and expression;

    Peaceably obtaining and privately owning and using land and the animate and inanimate natural resources associated with it;

    Personal privacy in all realms;

    Peaceably obtaining and using material goods of any kind;

    Participation in mutually agreed, voluntary, social, political, religious, economic and personal interactions of any kind;

    Self-determination with respect to the creation and compassionate rearing and education of one’s children;

    Power loaned by sovereigns to governors often corrupts governors and leads to the grossest of civil abuses. Therefore, the power of governors in the State and Federal branches of the United States government are constrained in their spheres of action by the rights and power of the people, codified in the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and civil and criminal law derived there from.
    Nevertheless, because of several weaknesses of the Constitution, changes to it, and methods of implementing it, there has been severe erosion of the people’s rights. Constitutional weaknesses include the Treaty Clause, the Interstate Commerce Clause, and the allowance of Executive Orders. These weaknesses have been exploited to make the government of the United States unacceptably powerful and arbitrary. Amendments contrary to the original spirit of the Constitution include the 16th and 17th. Harmful ways of implementing the Constitution include arbitrary rulings by the judiciary, and abrogation of responsibility by legislators and regulators.
    Pursuant to the foregoing, I do hereby affirm my belief in and commitment to the principles outlined above and my standing as a sovereign being. I claim my life – - only I have the authority to choose its direction. I do not recognize the authority of any government to violate, in any way, those rights enumerated above or any other of my rights, except when I willfully violate the rights of others.       Too bad the majority of voters are ignorant even for the large elections. They do their research the day of, or the hours leading up to when they vote instead of doing it properly.

      I agree that illegals shouldn’t get public support, however if you make massive cuts (or wipe it out entirely) how do you make sure those that are legal and need it still get it. I’ve known a few people that went on public assistance because they needed it badly, then when they got back on their feet they went off of it. It serves a needed purpose for those with their backs up against the wall.

    Some Governments are declaring was on it’s citizens. They have become a monster and need to be paired back. I just heard a podcast regarding Gould AZ. Thank God for the Patriot’s that are standing to fight their nonsense. Vote the bums out.

    During the twenty-two months preceding Obama’s announcement he would run for President, there were eight House and Senate Bills proposed to change or eliminate the “natural born citizen” clause of the Constitution. This is a matter of public record, as are all proposed legislation. Eight times our illustrious leaders in Congress attempted to pave the way for Obama.

    This certainly smacks of a conspiracy to allow a Constitutionally unqualified individual to attain the position of POTUS. Obama could have been born on the Whitehouse lawn and not meet the requirement because both of his parents were not US citizens.
