Showtime At The Show Trial

Zimmerman Trial in Florida

Let’s hear it for Rachel Jeantel. After all, without her spectacular performance last week on the witness stand in the show trial of George Zimmerman, we would never have learned that surly racists are neither surly nor racist. Indeed, when a black woman refers to someone as a “creepy-ass cracker,” she’s not allowing her bigotry to betray her; she’s simply behaving in a culturally appropriate manner.

Lest you think I’ve stepped into the rhetorical ring with my gloves unlaced, I have backup. According to a blog post by someone named Rachel Samara on a website called GlobalGrind.com, Jeantel is neither an ignorant bigot nor living proof of the desperate state of Americans trapped in the labyrinth of intellectual, moral and financial poverty endured on a daily basis by the heart of the Democratic voter base:

Rachel was authentic, nervous and extremely herself. … But let’s be honest. Rachel Jeantel’s attitude is exactly what I would expect from someone from the hood who has no media training and who is fully entrenched in a hostile environment.

That is a load off my mind. I might have wandered aimlessly through the rest of my life laboring under the misapprehension that it’s a character deficiency to behave like an extra in a hip-hop video shot on a really small budget.

And soon-to-be-erstwhile Food Network diva Paula Deen must be dancing a jig of joy. After all, if living down to the worst stereotypes about a subset of the population is actually cultural celebration, then Deen’s rather unfortunate deployment of the dreaded “n-word” wasn’t a demonstration of innate racism; it was merely a reflection of Deen’s cultural upbringing.

In fact, by liberal reckoning, a person is nothing more than an aggregation of his background and upbringing. The next time someone takes offense at an offhanded remark, remind him that you’re not to blame; the accumulated traditions of your tribe are to blame. To put it in terms Jeantel and those paragons of journalism at Globalgrind.com might understand: “See, what hat happent wuz, I dih-ihn’t say nuttin’ raciss. It wuz my cultural traditions… yo.”

When Bill Maher calls former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin a “c*nt,” he’s not being a misogynist pig; he’s simply adhering to the accepted cultural standards of smug, liberal douchebags. When MSNBC host and race-pimp Al Sharpton smears feces on a teenager, he’s not resorting to absolutely appalling means in an effort to make a cheap buck; he’s just behaving in a culturally appropriate manner for a parasitic race-baiting carnival barker. When Alec Baldwin calls a retired black police officer a “coon,” he’s not being a blathering hypocritical jackass. Well, he is; but we should hardly expect more. Consider the culture in which Baldwin grew to jackass-hood. Hollywood is overflowing with blathering hypocritical jackasses. Finding an enlightened soul in Tinseltown is a taller order than sitting through Sean Penn’s video diary from his last trip to Venezuela. “Gangsta” rappers have been using the “cultural” excuse since the first time a hip-hop hero smacked up his “ho.” Rap is… Well, take away n*gger, ho and bitch, and rap would be semaphore in 4/4 time.

If Jeantel should be lauded for being “authentic, nervous and extremely herself” on the witness stand last week, then everyone should use the same get-out-of-scorn-free card. We can all just stroll through life like a bunch of gibbering Tourette’s sufferers. And if anyone is offended, we can just direct his complaints to the proper culprit: our culture. “I’m sorry, Chairwoman Wasserman-Schultz; but where I’m from, we call greasy-headed skanks ‘greasy-headed skanks.’ In fact, I’m personally offended that you’re not more sensitive to my cultural heritage. You’re racist.”

But that’s as idiotic as Samara’s blog post. To quote Jeantel one more time: “That’s real retarded.” And to quote Personal Liberty’s own Sam Rolley in MSNBC Lauds ‘Articulate’ Use Of ‘Black English’ By Inaudible, Mumbling Witness In Zimmerman Trial:

“Ain’t nobody got time for that.”

The worst part is that these people actually vote. No wonder the Democrats are in power. Fools elected by fools, including those tinsel town retards and by the way, when you spend all your life trying to be someone else, small wonder you will never really know who you are. Thanks Ben, once again you made me laugh which is becoming harder to do nowadays. Maybe these people exist to stop us all from bursting into tears. Great entertainers – just part of their culture , no doubt. Being like that comes naturally so what exactly is the problem bro?

    • John

yeah they vote. That is not the real problem. Every electronic voting machine in this country is owned and programed be George Soros. A man that has destroyed 5, count em 5 countries. He is evil incarnate. None of his voting machines give the actual count. They are programed to give democrats the election. Where the machines have gotten inspected by someone other than a democrat they have been found to be fraudulent. Still think Ovomit won, I never have and won’t believe that to the day I die.

    • JRR

The Democrats have been winning because the Republicans stupidly (and shamefully, to save the derrieres of a few Republicans who had done something illegal) signed an agreement 31 years ago that disallows them from being able to confront Democrat fraud, by law.

So now, however many votes Democrats need, they can just manufacture enough fraudulent votes to cover.

    • Karolyn

As I just posted above, most of “these people” do not vote. I live in the rural south, and none of the people I have met who are basically on her level vote.

Not a judgment, S.C., just an observation. I know lots of people on “her level” (for lack of a better phrase) who are good people; they are just ignorant and do not think beyond their own comfort. It is what it is. They only know what they’ve grown up with. It is very hard to break the cycle.

          • http://cowboybyte.com/ Alondra

K: “they are just ignorant and do not think beyond their own comfort. It is what it is. They only know what they’ve grown up with. It is very hard to break the cycle.”

          • Karolyn

If you read my comments, I used no ad hominem. When Alondra responds to anyone in opposition to her remarks, she ONLY uses ad hominems. I challenge you to find one of her responses that don’t.

      • WTS/JAY

So, on voting day you can account, for certain, that they were at home, and not voting? Come on, give your head a shake, Karolyn. Now take a good look at her, that there is your typical Obama-voter/supporter. Not much on brains, but big on emotion and passion…

        • Karolyn

Well, all I know is that the people I see going to the polls are mostly white and mostly older. The kids I see at school are just not that interested. They’re more interested in their social life than anything else. It has amazed me the level of ignorance I’ve seen in some of my classes.

          • vicki

Kids are too young to vote. Unless you go to all the voting places you can’t possibly know that only one demographic votes.

          • Karolyn

Vicki, I’m talking about 18 year old and older kids in college.

          • vicki

Ok. You neglected to mention that in your post.

Think about it, Zimmerman, Trayvon and Rachel, all by-products of “progressive rule”. Anyone else think it time to break out of the “red and blue” board game? I certainly do.

  • BHR

Whites have been abused since the sixties by the courts and blacks. Whites can not be races but blacks can and most are. Blacks blame the whites for everything and all their problems. The blacks have had three generations, protected by the government. Guess what, they have not changed, few finish school, most fathers leave their children and they live off the government. If you do not believe, check with the dept. of health.

And comments like yours lack sense.

      • Nadzieja Batki

Actually he makes sense. If you took time and studied anthropology, sociology, psychology, theology (pre flood and post flood religions), geography, archeology, etc., then you would know what “pagan cultures” populations are reverting to in modern times.

        • Doc Sarvis

WHAT makes you think that she adheres to the rights of “pagan cultures”?

  • Nadzieja Batki

One commenter from facebook, makes a statement that we have TV images of courtrooms and witnesses that do not resemble real life. They are clean and shapely and with subdued language, they dress their best and hopefully behave their best. That real courts should be populated with the schlubs you see at the DMV, the tax assessor-collectors offices, the SS or welfare offices or the tourists in summer. That is downright scary that that sorry lot should hold your life in balance.

  • justus brother

Oh Ben! “Paula Deen must be dancing a “jig” of joy.” Sounds like a cultural misstep.

    • JRR

Paula Deen has been lynched in the media … I doubt if she is dancing at all!

After recently reading a stunningly long list of horrific crimes committed by blacks in America (mostly against whites), I believe that the cultural misstep was not sending the blacks back to Africa in Lincoln’s time, where their own people, and the Muslims, would have abused, enslaved and killed them, but they wouldn’t have had whites to blame for all of their failures.

We are making another, and much more lethal, cultural misstep by diluting our culture with the anti-culture of Islam.

      • justus brother

I believe the country of Liberia was founded by freed slaves. Check out how well it’s doing.

When Ms. Jeantel said she couldn’t read “cursive”, I was floored. And this is considered to be a “credible” witness????

    • Doc Sarvis

Since when do you have to read cursive in order to witness something???

      • Average_Joe56

Usually, when you’re the one who wrote it. It was her written statement….she wrote it…but couldn’t read it…..Duh…..

        • Doc Sarvis

She did not write it, she dictated it to a friend who wrote it for her….Duh…

          • Average_Joe56

So, you are saying that she can’t read …or write? What a wonderful educational system we have…don’t you agree?

          • Karolyn

We can agree on that, Joe, especially in schools in economically depressed areas.

          • Average_Joe56

I don’t so much think it’s an economic problem…as it is a motivation problem. When you’ve been given handouts and “special” status amongst the rest of the population for several generations…there isn’t any incentive to better one’s self. Entire generations have grown up on the welfare dole (not just blacks’)…given special treatment in hiring, schooling etc….and that has become a way of life…by choice. Free handouts are the norm…and as long as they keep coming…what incentive is there to get an education, a job…or even be responsible… when someone else is footing the bill? Public schools (not my first choice, but available) are available for everyone….the choice is to apply one’s self and get an education or to go to school to socialize….which seems to be the case all too often. Motivation is the problem… take away the handouts and the special status’…I guarantee that they will either better themselves…or go extinct….either one works for me. Choosing to remain clueless….is not an option.

          • http://cowboybyte.com/ Alondra

We do not have “educational system”.

We have brainwashing indoctrinational system: victimizing, discrimination, oppressing and unfairly pay & treat.

“The direction in which education starts a man will determine his future in life” – Plato

“Give me a child and I’ll shape him into anything.” — B. F. Skinner, Jewish psychologist and pioneer of behaviorism

“…modern methods of PROPAGANDA. Of these the most influential is what is called EDUCATION … Where all children go to school, and all schools are CONTROLLED BY THE GOVERNMENT, the authorities can close the minds of the young to everything CONTRARY TO OFFICIAL orthodoxy. .. The populace WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO KNOW how its convictions were generated.” — Bertrand Russell, The Impact of Science on Society

“…EDUCATION SHOULD AIM AT DESTROYING FREE WILL, so that, after pupils have left school, they shall be INCAPABLE, throughout the rest of their lives, of thinking or acting otherwise than as their schoolmasters would have wished” — Johann Gottlieb Fichte, German philosopher

      • David Wallace

No she didn’t, she’s 18 and going into her senior year this fall.

It’s also okay with liberals for gangs of several hundred blacks to attack white shoppers (Chicago and Florido, that we know of, so far) and for blacks to commit genocide in South Africa, torturing small white children to death, and dropping white infants into vats of boiling water. And if it’s okay for them to do it there, one must assume that it’s okay for them to do so here – the the liberal media.

Something wicked this way comes, indeed. And I don’t think America has a CLUE!

The show must go on, and all the mainstream megaliar coverage of this case will cause just that! As this case gets “advertised” and the couch potatoes run and glue themselves to the stupid box and swallow every lie and propaganda piece of BS they can find, tension will be heating up around the nation. I guess this is the plan! It does not have to be this way. The mainstream megaliars can spin this any direction they want to. If any violence happens as a result of this fiasco I blame the megaliars completely! They must be accountable for their lack of support, and destruction that results from it, in the enslavement of the once great protestant republic of USA.

13 rules of gunfighting that everyone should know:

        1) Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.

        2) It’s always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

        3) Cops carry guns to protect themselves, not you.

        4) Never let someone or something that threatens you get inside arm’s length.

        5) Never say,”I’ve got a gun.” The first sound they hear should be the safety clicking off.

        6) The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes; the response time of a .357 magnum is 1400 feet per second.

        7) The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always win- cheat if necessary.

        8) Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets…you may get killed with your own gun, be he will have to beat you to death with it, because it will be empty.

        9) If you are in a gunfight; If you are not shooting, you should be loading. If you are not loading, you should be moving. If you aren’t shooting, moving or loading; you’re probably dead.

        10) In a life and death situation, do something…it may be wrong…but do…something!

        11) If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid…Nonsense! If you have a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

        12) You can say ‘stop’ ‘alto’ or any other word, but a large bore muzzle pointed at someone’s head is pretty much a universal language.

        13) You cannot save the world, but you may be able to save yourself and your family.

You are correct, but don’t expect “Doc” to understand. He, like the rest of the 5th columners on this site, is a coward and traitor. If he wants to know how he is a traitor, let him grow a pair and ask me. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! 하나님하고 나라를 위해서!

Thomas Jefferson was not a Christian in terms of accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He was a deist. He also was a very religious man, religion being a verb not a noun. He had strong convictions about religious freedom because of the times he was living in. He saw and read modern history of his day about Rome, and the anglican church and all the persecution that they caused.

Don’t see many wise men like Jefferson and Franklin these days. They are all being vilified by hollywank.

NATO has been here waiting for years to step in. I just read an article about Russian troops will be security for many 4th events around the country.

          • Average_Joe56

This is also why our troops are scattered out across 170+ countries….We will be on our own for this one….No army to protect us, because they aren’t here. This plan has been covertly implemented over decades and it’s almost ready to play out…

We will be on our own for this one….No army to protect us, because they aren’t here.

Our forefathers were rather specific about standing armies. They did not like nor trust them. We are to be the well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State. To be well regulated (I.E. trained) we were to ALWAYS be able to keep and bear arms of any kind that the armies of the WORLD might have. Hence the 2nd Amendment.

(I know that you know all this. I am pointing it out for those who came here to learn.)

This would make King look like preschoolers. Not only FLA. . . Who knows? Time will tell. If Zimmerman is dismissed If I were a white boy in a predominantly black community, I’d be taking a vacation for a while.

  • http://batman-news.com Jim B

It’s like… why bother. If you are so weak of character and have drenched yourself in ignorance, feed on it, spread it, preach it, then there is little any one can do to help you, after all ignorance is bliss! Some use Ignorance as a mask or a shield, the singularity of it bores us, the fear of it is lost, there is no credibility in ignorant and so nobody cares and most walk away in disgust. The Zimmerman case is just an attempt by ignorance to keep racism alive. There’s a problem however, Zimmerman’s neither racist or ignorant so the true colors of the opposites are fully exposed. We now know that it is primarily the expansion of government in our schools, in our lives, in our business, in our economics that has led to the larges expansion of ignorance in this country, and it is time to do something about it before any more ignorant is put in office.

  • Karolyn

Just watching trial coverage. They’re making it look like Zimmerman didn’t even fight back. Why should he fight back if he had a gun? Why bother? The medical expert said that his injuries were probably caused by his head hitting the pavement once. The guy sounds like a big wimp who didn’t even know how to fight back. I don’t excuse Trayvon’s behavior, but he did not deserve to die at the hands of someone who thought he was a big man because he had a gun.

Zimmerman obviously DID know how to fight back as he survived the encounter.

I don’t excuse Trayvon’s behavior, but he did not deserve to die at
the hands of someone who thought he was a big man because he had a gun.

Zimmerman did not deserve to die at the hands of someone who thought he was a big man because he could beat up someone with a sidewalk.

      Lesson: Guns save lives.

    • ChuckS123

A law abiding citizen with a CC will generally not bring his gun out unless he fells like his life is threatened. One way it might have happened is that GZ was following TM far enough away that he thought TM wouldn’t feel threatened, but TM came back and attacked him. He wouldn’t have his gun in hand because he didn’t feel seriously threatened until he was knocked down.

Most Americans don’t care about physical appearance as long as someone behaves like a considerate, self-reliant human being. But many young blacks excuse themselves from civilized conduct with the rest of us by referring to wrongs of the past they weren’t part of, nor was anyone else alive today. They will never get ahead in contemporary society until they pull up their pants, stop cartooning their bodies, and realize that.

In the meantime, they don’t understand why they get categorized and called the n-word. Ambitious, motivated, considerate individuals of any appearance can succeed in this country. When a black teenager mindlessly murders a white baby in cold blood, no national black leaders (including the Trojan Horse saboteur in our Whitehouse) came forward to condemn it.

Ignoring the state of contemporary black culture in America is a shameless betrayal and mindless disrespect for those poor souls who were indeed captured by their OWN people in Africa, sold into slavery, and suffered
immeasurably during that horrible era far from their homeland.

That mentality is particularly conspicuous to Americans who arrived after 1865, and know it was Republican President Abraham Lincoln who had the courage to end that brutal madness. Lincoln was assassinated by southern democrat sympathizer and slave holder John Wilkes Booth, while it was democrats from the south that consequently started the KKK during the period know as ‘Reconstruction’.

  • ChuckS123

She is maybe a product of liberal public schools, liberal entertainment, and maybe bad guidance from black leaders. School choice – vouchers or tuition tax credits – might enable a number of blacks to do better in the future by getting out of liberal public schools.

Ben, Rachel was repeating what Trayvon told her about a creepy ass cracker following him. You’re losing your credibility with me, son. You purposefully misrepresented what she said on the stand. Shame on YOU!

  • DurdyDawg

I’ve been reading most of these posts and I do believe that there is more pro-Zimmerman than not. I also frequent liberal sites and it’s simply the other way around. Fact is, I think more reasonable statements are said here than anywhere else. Most (in the outside world) have already condemned the ‘Z’ man in spite of evidence being revealed that this could all be considered a big top media circus act. For instance, when on the stand, the two officers on site affirmed through the evidence that they found that Zimmerman’s statement that he did not pursue once the 911 operator advised (not order) him not to pursue and that an altercation ensued instigated by the victim was immediately tossed out by the judge. These libs keep saying that the law told him not to follow, that he chased the victim, that he would somehow know the kid was carrying tea and skittles instead of, say, a knife and that it didn’t make a difference if there had been break ins by predominately black thugs prior to the altercation. Hell, I even read that Zimmerman didn’t even know what color the kid was or even that he was a teenager until the operator asked him to stand down and he said that someone was coming toward him and that he was black.. Z also said the perp had his hands in his pocket (as a sign of possibly reaching for a weapon?) and as this was stated in an earlier interview I’m wondering where that tea and skittles was during this time. But it doesn’t seem to matter to the haters, they smell blood an it isn’t theirs. Also I think the entire thing is set up for an eventual riot as charging 2nd degree murder is going to be difficult to prove . had that idiot DA instead offered manslaughter then none of this crap would be going on and Zimmerman would probably be up for parole by now. Also, unlike the riots of Rodney King that the blacks initiated.. Not one riot was started by any whites in the OJ aftermath, in fact the blacks were pomp and assured that they one-upped the establishment but here, now when (if) Zimmerman is acquitted on a charge that no DA wanted to declare so it took a ‘special’ prosecutor to spew (one who had probably had stars in her eyes) something that will most likely become a prosecutoral blunder with a riot aftermath that will shake the foundation of this nation. They’re all playing us against each other and we’re all too bull headed to admit we’re being used so we continue to split as a nation.. What the shadows have always wanted to accomplish, now for the 2nd phase of their destruction of America. Who are these cowards that keep a low profile? It’s not one man, I can tell you that.
