So let’s get this straight, he is criticising his opponent for taking a government check for 24 years…OF SERVICE IN THE MILITARY?> Are you kidding me?
Can you think of ANY in this nation more UNDERPAID than our military people? As for non-politicians running for office, it’s about time. The political elite have not represented We The People in decades…they just get fat, wealthy and powerful living off the backs of their constituents who they hold in great disdain.
It’s time to get rid of these fat cats…all of them. VOTE THE BUMS OUT.

    • BrotherPatriot

      Well said & Ty…coming from a Veteran. :)

They have long ago forgotten it is THEY who work for US. They thought we would forget all about the steady stream of crap sandwiches from Washington over the past two years.
Well, we have not forgotten and we are about to give them all their pink slips.

Mr. Moran, is that why you dodged military service? You didn’t want to be seen as one who wasn’t intelligent enough to know how to blow his nose without a set of directions. Let me put it to you this way, our military are so good, they can walk tall and straight; and if necessary straight into enemy fire, spot a child in distress, rescue the child, spot the bad guy, dispose of him and not give it a second thought. Given the choice, I’s love to see 435 veterans elected to the House and 33 or so to the Senate in 2010, And then in 2012, one young retired GI elected to the White House, 33 more as Senators. We would then have an American Majority who could outhink you and your liberal cohorts and if need be pick up arms again to defend your right to stupid remarks. As a politician, you must be aware that you are amiong the least trusted individuals in America. Make your apologies and Sit Down and stay down.

      Agreed 100%, Sir!

Ask someone who’s been in the military (better yet, ask someone who’s on active duty). In most cases, I wouldn’t rely on the opinion of an elected know-it-all for anything, let alone an accurate way to define what being in the military really means.
Probably, Moran/Moron hasn’t a clue. Few politicans do.
It makes a great case for REINSTATING THE DRAFT. Having a professional military ready to go to war 24/7 is a double-edged sword. It can be an asset, but it also gives politicians, criminals and traitors an easy way to stick America with endless, unnecessary wars (the Korean War set the precedent, in case anyone forgot).
And, in case someone needs to be reminded, that “leader” was HST, and whatever else he was, he was no conservative, folks).

Mr. Moran, spelled m o r o n, I see you as one who hid when the need for courage was obvious, when the call for help the loudest, and the best of our men and women were standing up, and joining up. While military service is not easy, or fun, or well paying, it is the basis of government service. For shame, sir, for shame. If trouble comes my way, as it often has, may God grant me the favor of putting a veteran next to me.

Another classic example of open mouth insert foot. He has done this and rammed it in up to his knee. Personally I would love to see this bum get about 2% of the vote in his state and have to leave in total shame (if he is even capeable of feeling that)Which most of these guys are not.Mike L.

    • http://?? Joe H.

he stuck it in so far, I think people can see it kicking him in the azz!!!

      • http://none Mike

Unfortunatly I think this is just a typical view of most on the left of we the pepole. We are usefull if we vote for them and their ideas and blithering idiots if we dont. Mike L.

The people in this idiots district should vote him out or impeach him immediately. NOW!!! He does such a dis-service and dishonor to those who served and died for thier country. What a elite piece of human debris and a piece of crap person and politician. His opponent and other military service men and women have fought and risked thier life so this piece of crap can show his gratitude by showing his liberal stupidity and ungratefulness. GET RID OF THIS PIECE OF CRAP NOW!!!!!

This is a fine american according to our THUG joke pres. Hussein Obama. This is the “change” Hussein Obama was looking for; Trash, Degrade, Insult and Apologize for our great military( the finest and bravest in the history of the world) and our once great nation and destroy everything that is great about it. If america’s ever invaded maybe this idiot can ask those traitors who are laughing in the audience to serve and protect his big, fat, spoiled, stupid, pathetic ugly face. This is exactly how Hussein Obama wants everyone in the nation to view our great military. Both of these THUGS need to be voted out or impeached as soon as possible!!!

I spent 10 years in the military and am proud of it. I wonder how long Mr. Moron spent in the military. This is the type of people we need to get rid of at the voting polls.

  • ken davis

to all thos eveterans who have posted…thank you. To jim moran..either get behind our military or please get in front of them…

Somehow these sorry excuses for human kind seem to think that a regular American can’t run the government…I did not know that you had to be stupid and elite to serve in Congress. Just shows you how out of touch we must all be.

Thank you for your comments. I don’t regret my military experience; nor do I regret that I’m not a constituent in Mr Moran’s state/district ;-).

He knows he can make such idiotic comments in this country and not lose his (or his family members) life or limb(s) for doing so; he also knows if he did so in Iran or similar country, the U.S. military would be there rescuing his sorry axx. He’s a simple gutless wonder who puts his big foot in his even bigger mouth…all for his own personal power grab.

Politicians are like a baby’s diaper – they need to changed often and for the same reason.

President Clinton was elected soon after operation desert storm where America spent much of the tax payers money fighting a causeless war not properly investigated as it was latter revealed by General Colin Power. Most Americans indeed have short memories or probably lack sound judgment to reason that, there is no gain to find peace in waging war. The economic depression could have reached its worst stage, had it not Mr. Clinton’s term of governance that reversed the situation and even balanced the budget to a surplus. Maybe, we should blame Mr. Clinton for that surplus. i also believe if there was no money and people were feeling the heat as is presently obvious, those with sound judgments or the human beings among us will refrain from thinking about war. President Reagan was a republican, but he set the motion for the two most powerful nations of America And Russia to reduce and destroy all weapons of mass destruction. His legacy was mostly abused by the very people who share his believes. To be conservative is to preserve, but many conservatives hate seeing the country having much surplus money within the treasury. The innocent young American Soldier sees it as very lucrative to further his education if not dead from rendering a service through fighting. I believe also some of us are still losing our thinking faculty and believe the war in Afghanistan must be forever continue forgetting that China and other countries are shaping their economy to become the new world super economic power. instead of Americans to to use the political system to fish for sound ideologies to benefit all, party affiliation is what matters to the fools where as the countries economic power is heading at a wrong direction. I share conservative ideas, and that of MR. Reagan.

In all Honesty what do you expect from people like Jim Moran and Alex Sink, THEY ARE MAOBAMA ZOMBIES, AND JACKASSES (PARTY SYMBOL) THE MOST APPROPRIATE POLITICAL PARTY SYMBOL EVER!!!!

  • JJ Smith

I regret to say that Moran is my Congressman. Why we keep reelecting him totally mystifies me.

    • Fed Up Gal in NM

      JJ Smith,

Well, JJ….I’m thinking it’s because there’s not enough folks in your state with your integrity and with the gray matter you obviously have. I’m in NM…and I can’t tell you tell the number of times, I scratched my head wondering…what on earth were these people thinking…or rather…did they put any thought into their vote whatsover. Keep your chin up….things can change…even in my predominantly “blue” state…there was a reckoning in recent elections…sooooooo it could happen in your state too :-).
