Sexual Sickos And Progressives

Sexual Sickos And Progressives

Just when you thought no one could top John Edwards, the Terminator unveils a 10-year maidcapade that has dramatically increased Pepto-Bismol™ sales nationwide. While Edwards is a callous, despicable human being, Arnold Schwarzenegger is simply a mentally disturbed individual.

All of a sudden, Eliot Spitzer and Bill Clinton don’t seem quite as disgusting as they once did. After all, Clinton was merely a serial fondler and alleged rapist. And Spitzer’s biggest crime is that he’s such a creepy-looking guy, he probably tarnished the reputation of “Ashley Dupré,” his $1,000-an-hour prostitute.

Of course, any person with an ounce of wisdom knows it’s never a good idea to cast stones, so I shall refrain from moral pontificating. Stones aside, however, one can’t help but be curious about politicians who push the sex envelope to the death-wish limit. The age-old question that always arises is: Should voters assume that if a politician is unfaithful in his marriage, he will be dishonest when he’s in public office?

In that regard, I think one has to ask himself what would cause a politician to be unfaithful to his wife in the first place. There could be many reasons — a number of them that come quickly to mind are stupidity, arrogance, recklessness, narcissism and, above all, a lack of self-discipline.

So even if we adopt the relativist’s attitude that boys will be boys and refrain from casting stones, we still have to wonder if such people deserve our votes. And the best way to answer that is to ask yourself a simple question: Are you OK with voting for a guy who is stupid, arrogant, reckless, narcissistic and lacking in self-discipline? What terrific qualifications for someone whom you’re going to rely on to protect your life and property.

In any event, the truth be known, the rash of political sex-scandals are nothing more than diversions from the truly serious problems America faces. The real enemy we should be focusing on — the sworn enemy of liberty — is progressivism.

Unfaithful politicians won’t bring our nation down as a result of their indiscretions, but progressivism is capable of accomplishing that feat by placing the “collective good” above individual liberty. For without individual liberty, the America most of us knew growing up will most certainly perish.

Marcus Tullius Cicero had a bead on this in the 1st century B.C. when he said: “A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.”

Cicero’s words make me think not only of the radical progressives in the Democratic Party, but, worse, of progressives in the Republican Party who pose as conservatives — for whom Lindsey Graham is the poster boy. In his latest interview outburst, Graham said: “I am willing to take the bruises and stand by (President Barack) Obama to engage countries like Egypt and Tunisia and stay involved in Libya and finish the job in Iraq. I am willing to take American dollars at a time when we’re flat broke, go back home and suffer the consequences of sending aid to Egypt at a time when South Carolina has 10 percent unemployment because I believe the Egyptian revolution is about a new way of doing business that’s better for us.”

Graham supports sending aid to Egypt at a time when South Carolina has 10 percent unemployment because he believes “the Egyptian revolution is about a new way of doing business that’s better for us.” Really? He went on to say he thinks Obama “did a really good job” in his speech advocating that Israel commit suicide by returning to the pre-1967 borders. With conservatives like Graham, who needs progressives?

Fortunately, Graham isn’t running for president. Neither is his uber-progressive buddy, John McCain. And, best of all, Mike Huckabee isn’t running — at least this time around. That saves me from having to write a series of stop-Huckabee articles, a project I was not looking forward to.

Now, along comes someone who apparently is going to run for president, Jon Huntsman. I don’t know much about this guy, except that it appears he plans to make “civil discourse” his campaign theme. In a recent interview with John King, Huntsman said, “I believe in civility. I believe we ought to have a civil discourse in this country.”

All this sounds admirable, to be sure, except for one problem: The enemy neither advocates nor engages in civil discourse. On the contrary, progressives practice the Saul Alinsky strategy of relentless attack, stealth encroachment, isolating and ridiculing the enemy, creating chaos and more.

Civil discourse is fine, provided you are dealing with civil people. But progressives are not civil. They lie, cheat, deceive, vilify, ridicule and fearmonger… to name just a handful of the foul tactics they employ. Nothing — absolutely nothing — is out of bounds for them.

At the end of the day, words and phrases that people like Huckabee, Huntsman, Mitt Romney, John Boehner and other progressive Republicans and RINOs love to babble about, such as “compromise,” “reach across the aisle,” “cooperation,” “bipartisan consensus,” “adult conversation” and “civil dialogue” are nothing more than code for going along with progressives and their anti-liberty, big-government agenda.

Now, here’s the scary part. These people usually try to hide their progressive tendencies behind jumbled, conservative double-talk. Such was the case with Newt Gingrich, who was starting to impress me with his seemingly hard-core comments about what the far left is doing to our country.

Then suddenly, he turned on the say-whatever-you-have-to-say-to-get-elected switch in his brain and blurted out: “I don’t think right-wing social engineering is any more desirable than left-wing social engineering. I don’t think imposing radical change from the right or the left is a very good way for a free society to operate.”

What the hell is right-wing social engineering? It was the most outrageous statement I have ever heard from a Republican in my lifetime. It was not just a “bad choice of words,” as some polite pundits would like us to believe. On the contrary, it confirmed what Gingrich apparently told those closest to him (according to a confidential source of mine) — his strategy from the beginning was to run as a mainstream candidate and try to pick up as many independents and moderate Democrats as possible.

Thus ended Gingrich’s political career, but it’s still scary to think he had a lot of people fooled. And, apparently, he still does.

Just to come full circle, I should close by saying all the sexual sickos I named at the outset of this article happen to be progressives. However, honesty compels me to admit that not all progressives are sexual sickos — dangerous, but not sick.

Progressives are the enemy from within that is moving quickly to destroy what is left of America, so it’s important that you and I not be distracted by the political tabloid stuff. Our focus must always be on our loss of liberty, not Schwarzenegger’s libido.

And with that, you’ll have to excuse me while I reach for the Pepto-Bismol™. It’s going to be a long and disgusting 17 months watching charlatans grovel for votes.

These are Politicians….NOT PEOPLE…you put reliance & faith in politicians its like trusting a crook not to rob you because you give him “donations.”
The sooner the American People (left middle right) REALIZE what the “petty” differences are and DROP them in LIGHT of our BIGGER problems the sooner the Nation can restore freedom & Liberty to both sides.

Libers go nowhere near the immigration issue.
George I, Bill, George II and Barack have all lead us to today. The era of fear continues and our children are going to grow up with government workers shoving their hands between their legs because this is the America you want and did not grow up in yourself!
Or is this the kind of national defense that you wish you would have grown up in?
Too many people or more brain washed by the media than care to admit out of fear! Speak sound bites and wear a leash is the new motto that Dem and Pub supporters live by today.

    • http://N/A Bitter about Politicians Period

I was told by politicians many years ago that there are three basic factors in politics.
And that is Money, Power and sex and every politician has two of these factors and will trade
For the third one no matter which one it is. In my opinion we should place term limits on every position in Government. That way we could get rid of the corrupt ones as soon as there term is up the draw back is that good ones would have to leave when tnereterm is up. But that is in my opinion is the only way to elliminate corrupt politicians. I hate it when people like the author attacks the libs for sex scandals while totally ignoring the repubs morality. http://www.salem-nes.com/articles/october172007/repub_scandals_10_17_07.php
Of course Vitter, Ensign, Stafford are not included on this list as it is prior to 2011. The statement “They lie, cheat, deceive, vilify, ridicule and fearmonger sure fits the republican talking points presented on a daily basis. Who do you think started the “death panels” mantra of late? For the author to call other Americans, “enemies”, because they belong to a different political party, should be a hint of the radical thinking of the far right. We are all Americans regardless of political affiliation.

      • Vic

What about Americans working to destroy this country?
What about Americans siding with enemies of America?
How do you call them then?

    • argorigolo

Strange, I’m sure this must be a farce article. It seems that ‘deny everything and blame someone else’ has become the conservative battle since Regan. I called him ‘the great magican’ because while the right-hand was moving, the left was doing the exact opposite. Merely a show trick to win approval. the odd-news is nothing new: ‘this is what people say they do and this is what people actually do’.
I find that this approach works with the ultra-right wings religious ‘programs’, too. While 98% of all crime in the state is Christian-on-Christian.crimes; they point the finger at someone else, and call for social-cleansing.They distract from the real issues of social justice and individual freedoms. They compromise the people’s values for social position, political wealth, and power. They divide and conquer by blowing-up the minor differences that traditionally exist between all of the diverse American peoples and move into the vaccum. The personality – orientation of these groups is “power” not achievement or affiliation.

  • Bob

Ringer is right. We must not compromise with the left. The parasite must be destroyed. We can’t rest until liberalism becomes liberalwasim.

    • http://democraticinsight.net/ Gary

When you reject Liberal thought you reject our Founding Fathers and Jesus Christ. You reject clean water and prefer to die because you drank a glass of water.

Rejecting Liberal thought means you don’t mind getting mad cow desease and you prefer to breath contaminated air. You don’t like the 40 hour work week and you don’t believe in equal pay for equal work. You think child labor is alright. In order to protect big business you think it’s just fine to pay $2.00 an hour for labor.

Pol Pot and the Kmere Rouge(SP?) didn’t like Liberals either. He just killed all the school teachers, police, firemen, and anyone working for the government or for that matter anyone with an education. Is that where you are going with your “HATE LIBERALS” pont of view?

      • 2WarAbnVet

The problem here is that those who call themselves “liberals” today are anything but. They are actually totalitarian socialists, who seek absolute control of our lives.

        • CH

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! THIS SAYS IT ALL!

      • Bob G

Why are you making our arguement for us?

      • Pete DiOrio

Gary, there is a big difference between classical liberalism and today’s progressives who co-opted the “liberal” party around the beginning of the last century and slowly, inexorably manipulated the party agenda. When their true agenda became transparent and rejected, they morphed into “progressives.” Who could be against progress? Under any label, they absolutely reject the notion that individual liberty is the highest form of political and social achievement. But that’s exactly what the founding fathers set out to achieve and preserve.

        • Mike

President Regan said “I didn’t leave the Democratic Party, they left me.” How about that! Ronald R. was a great President. I didn’t agree with all he did, but he had the right idea most of the time. The Left have gone so far left they may be coming up on the Right any time now. I just call them all Coma-Nutsies.

      • Aland Coons

Really? That kind of talk might stir up those already beholden to your brand of vitriol but who really in their right mind believes that those who reject progressive liberal thought hate America and Americans and want everyone to die working as slaves breathing bad air and drinking bad water (except you)? The danger of ideas is they have consequences. For example, the danger of public education is that we end up with more people like you who want the government to take care of all their problems for them. I don’t trust anyone else to take care of my families issue with the same loving care and attention that I do. My principle is simple — the best government is the smallest and least intrusive and the one closest to the problem is the one best fitted to fix it. Example: Education should be eliminated from both state and federal government and returned to a local district level. All forms of family infant care should eliminated at the state and federal level and be turned over to cities, counties, and charities (churches or other non-profits). Trade agreements, treaties, wars and border control should be a a federal level and little else.
I don’t say any of this to convence you because you’ve obviously been sold a lie that folks like me just hate your stinking guts and wish you poor and sick and an early grave. On the contrary I believe that less governmental controls would mean more of our young people would be working for a living instead of going to grad school and leaving unable to find a job. I want to get back the greatness America had when a dollar was worth dollar and a man’s word and his handshake was as good as his gold. No I don’t hate education — I hate your brand of elitism. If you love progressivism please the next boat back to Europe and take your smarty-pants liberal friends with you!

        • Linda Eppinger – Texas

          Aland,
You have just said what most of us true Conservatives feel. I agree with you 100%.

        • Bud Tugly

Returning education to total local control would be a disaster. Look what the Texas school board is doing now with science and history – lunacy. Do you want the next generation of American to be taught that Adam and Eve rode to church on dinosaurs 4000 years ago (see the Creation Museum in Kentucky)… that the Civil war (War of Northern Aggression) had nothing to do with slavery… Thomas Jefferson, possibly our most brilliant President, was unworthy because he did not share their fundamentalist views?

Total local control of education serves no one but the egos of the local potentates in charge and could do much damage to our nation.

There needs to be a balance between local control and national interests.

          • Vic

            Bud,

Governmental control of education is actually doing critical harm to the nation right now. That is versus your speculative “local…may…”

      • DaveH

So, you’re saying then, Gary, that our Founding Fathers and Jesus Christ believed in helping themselves to other peoples’ money? That our Founding Fathers and Jesus Christ believed in Big Government and forcing their agendas on other people?
That’s quite an imagination you have there, Gary.
And, Gary, Liberals are protecting Big Business. Try GE on for size. Both political parties have their favorite Crony Capitalists. How else do you think the Politicians feather their own nests?

Liberals don’t have a corner on admirable goals. The difference between Liberals and the rest of us? The rest of our hearts don’t bleed with Other Peoples’ Money.

        • eyeswideopen

DaveH, yup, our founding fathers believed in exactly what you are critizing. Read the Constitution. They gave control to Congress to take our money for the general welfare of the majority. What part of leving taxes don’t you understand? Thank goodness they were specific in their intentions and gave us the Constitution, which you seem to deny it’s ability to take money. How important was that ability? Important enough to be the first issue they addressed.

      • Michael J.

        Gary,
Do you really think no one besides Liberals appreciates clean air? Do you believe no one but Liberals prefer clean water for bathing and consumption? I’m not going to parrot the rest of your rant, but I can assure you that aside from Liberals, normal people also enjoy the list of things you’ve posted. Brain washing is complete on those like yourself who cling to every utterance from indoctrination sources such as Huffpo and MSNBC till the cranial overload produces a vile fhlegm that oozes from every orifice. Get some help before it’s too late.

        • Kate8

Aland, DaveH and Michael J. – Thanks for your great comments. I wholly agree with you.

No one cares more about a clean, healthful environment and freedom than do conservatives, myself most of all, and I’m really sick of liberals acting as if the ruination of those things is at the hands of conservatives. The truth is, the sorry state of our Earth is due to corporate elites who only use political propaganda to further their ends. Progressives are best known for creating horrible problems so they can rush in with more laws and regulations to save us from ourselves, and give more power to themselves.

          • Conservative at Birth

People like Gary have assumed the title of Liberal falsely. They are true totalitarian socialists. It is the rest of us who are truely liberal. The word has been used wrongly for over 100 years.

          • Kate8

Conservative at Birth – This is true. And coming from today’s context of liberalism, I would really like to hear the lib’s explanation of why they continually spout that Yeshua was a liberal. So far, I haven’t gotten one.

          • JeffH

Kate8, very true. As Ringer said…”Saul Alinsky tactics”, which we see from the liberals and progressives in virtually every thread around here. You don’t like Obama’s politics – you’re a racist, you don’t buy into the scam that “man made” global warming is melting the ice caps and causing the tornadoes and floods – you’re a right-wing nut environment hater, you believe that both political parties are seperated only by how they steal your money – you’re still a Republican and it was all Bush’s fault and when that got old it was Reagan’s doing. You adamantly oppose Obamacare – you hate seniors and children. You believe in the free market – you’re a corporatist when in fact it is the very people that harp constantly against the corporations and support the Big Government machine that are the true corporatists.

I almost forgot the Banks and Wall Street? Obama and all of the beltway chums make a pretty good living by regulating these two financial entities. In their view, Washington and the regulators are there to serve the banks.

          • Kate8

JeffH – I remember, years ago, taking classes in NLP and such that taught much the same thing: how to cloud issues and confuse your target by dodging the subject. Of course, the context at the time was how to recognize these tactics, and use them to one’s own advantage.

What amazes me is how anyone can believe that such lying, manipulation and control can be for a cause that is “good”. Evil cannot ever lead to good (any means to and end).

Calling evil good does not make it so. Of course, one has to be able to discern evil to begin with, and liberals today lack the tools and understanding to do that, apparently.

          • JeffH

Kate8, I have to agree. How many libs/progressive harp on being “open minded”? Too many! Think just the opposite to get their meaning…you know, just sayin’…

          • DaveH

            Jeff,
Obviously you got cleared. Any explanation?

          • JeffH

DaveH, no explanation. My status changed yesterday. Who knows. but I think your thought was probably correct, an overzealous moderator.
I’m fine with it but it did give some of the libs something to “gossip” about.

          • karolyn

Kate – Here is an excellent article written in 2004 by a Christian evangelical minister about Jesus beng a liberal and also the true meaning of “liberal.”
            http://www.commondreams.org/views04/1019-24.htm

          • Kate8

Karolyn, I am aware of the dictionary meaning of “liberal”, which is quite different from what it means today in regard to political ideology. The question was, how is Yeshua liberal in the context of liberalism as it stands today.

Secondly, the minister is apparently a liberal himself. Such things like “no one in America today would have a fair wage” are speculative and, I believe, ridiculous. A capitalistic market is competitive, and good wages and benefits are offered to attract good workers. All that I can see that the Progressives accomplished is to force employers to take people to raise, pay them well, and be restrained from being able to fire the bad ones.

Also ridiculous is the implication that the Right is for the wealthy and “ignores the poor”. That is a Leftist mantra, but has no bearing in truth. The right has always done more to help the poor than the Left. The Left just wants to make the poor dependent on BigBro, and the Right seeks to teach them to be independent.

All in all, the article is just another rehash of Leftist thinking. You guys have repeated that swill so often that you actually have come to believe it.

          • Kate8

I meant to say “pay them well and be forced to give lavish benefits, even though they may not actually earn them”.

People should be hired and retained because of merit, and for no other reason.

          • Karolyn

Kate – Can you not accept that people do fit into the dictionary definitions of liberal and progressive? I guess there should be more labels. Better yet, do away with labels altogether!

          • eddie47d

Kate puts more twists into everything than a squeezed lemon.

          • DaveH

Actually Karolyn, Jesus railed against the ruling establishment. Why do you think they eventually crusified him? You are the opposite.

          • Al Sieber

Dave, about Jesus, when he kicked the money changers out it was all over for him, the money changers are still here, they’re called the federal reserve now.they just changed the name.

          • Kate8

Al – You are right! He did kick out the money-changers and, hopefully, is about to do it again.

          • eddie47d

Dave H.; When Jesus kicked out the money changers only proves again that he was a liberal. The Sanhedrin’s were very Conservative and controlled the money and allowed this blasphemy to happen on Temple property. They were also the government, religious leaders and the bankers. That would be a better comparison to today.

          • Kate8

eddie – And just what makes you think that the Sanhedrin was conservative? I read the Bible, and somehow I missed that.

The Sanhedrin was into control of every part of life, which is a liberal trait.

The moneychangers were controllers, too. They kept people worshiping the material, believing they could gain spiritual favors by paying for them. The temple was a House of God, not money. Liberals hate God and worship the material.

Yeshua was for freedom. He came to set us free. Liberals are for a central control by an earthly force.

Yeshua admonished us to keep the Commandments. Thou shalt not steal. That means don’t take from one to give to another, and especially not to give to the moneychangers.

Thou shalt not lie. Speaks for itself.

How about Thou shalt have no other gods? You libs look to government as your god, and are ruled by your lusts for other people’s stuff (Thou shalt not covet), and your fleshly lusts (Thou shalt not commit adultery, and also told us to avoid fornication and practices that are an abomination to God).

How about keeping the Sabbath? Honoring our parents? Thou shalt not kill – infanticide.

What were you saying about Yeshua being a liberal?

        • karolyn

I keep hearing Huffington Post mentioned. I decided to check it out and found no such rants on it. It seemed to me to be a strictly news site with a variety of bloggers writing on a variety of topics. I don’t get it. Of course, as on any site, you will find off-the-wall commenters just like here.

          • Kate8

            karolyn – No surprise here.

          • DaveH

Look at the Yahoo message boards sometime, Karolyn.
There are people out there even more extremist than you are.

          • Michael J.

            karolyn,
Your remarks are eerily similar to the Devil exclaiming that flames in Hell are normal.

Or to the senses of a maggot, the smell of putred flesh is status quo.

          • karolyn

Oh, come ON, Dave. That’s stretching it. I am in no way, shape or form an extremist! I am more of a middle-of-the roader, and you should know that. (Although you always read something else in my posts, which I really don’t understand.) Well, actually, the only thing I my be extreme about is wanting to see more love and less hate and violence in this world. Go ahead and laugh; I love you anyway.

          • Kate8

karolyn – How is forcing people to do everything your way ever supposed to bring more love and less hate and violence?

I don’t know about you, but that just makes me mad.

          • Karolyn

Kate – I’m not for forcing anybody to do anything! I am not AGAINST anything either. I am FOR human rights, fairness, smaller government, freedom, justice, goodness, righteousness, peace, love, equality, democracy, brotherhood, etc. I truly believe that the more one fights against something, the bigger it gets. That is why I so often post about the hate and vitriol that goes on. It serves no purpose other than to perpetuate itself AND what it is used against. There is more power in love than in hate.

          • eddie47d

Karolyn; Don’t worry about what Dave H says for he says the same thing to all the liberals. No matter what the topic. It’s all programmed responses.

          • DaveH

Sure you are, Karolyn. You told us just last week that people don’t own their own property. How extreme is that?

          • Kate8

Karolyn – You also said that you believe you are your brother’s keeper. That gives you a certain amount of power over him.

Of course, someone gets to be your keeper, too.

            I don’t want or need a keeper.

        • Average Joe

          DaveH,
Unfortunately, if you do not possess a “Land Grant” or “Allodial Title”, we do not own our land…the government does. A certificate of title does not grant you ownership of the land or property (ie. your car, truck, motorcycle etc….)While you may own the dwellings built on the land, you are still at the mercy of the government as to whether you are allowed to live there. If you don’t believe me, try not payng your property taxes and see how long they let you stay there. Google “Land Grants” and “Allodial Titles” for more information on the subject. Also, unless you have no mortgage, the bank still holds the “Certificate of Title” and in the event of a bank run or some other unforseen “bank” catastrophe….. can demand at anytime that you make payment in full on the balance of the loan and if you don’t make the payment, they can get the courts to evict you from the dwellings on the property and you will find yourself homeless. Let’s not forget about the governments use of “Eminent Domain”….where they can decide that your “property” can server the public i a better way than your ownership does….and poof….your property is condemned and you are homeless….So, no…we don’t own our “property” and haven’t since FDR and all of the hidden goodies in “The New Deal”.

          • Albino.

Your telling me some on owns land and doesn’t have a land grant……… HA HA now that’s funny!!!!

          • Average Joe

Albino, You might try doing a bit of research….rather than shooting off your uneducated mouth….There actually are a few (very few) who have land grants and allodial tiles to their lands…it has been in the famiies for generations…I’d be willing to bet that if you have property….you don’t have either….a land patent or allodial title…go look for yourself……

          • Average Joe
          • Albino.

Straight to the attack……….. YOU DON”T KNOW A THING ABOUT ME!! My families land has been with use for generations! AND YES it has a LAND GRANT along with FULL MINERAL RIGHTS!! So please shut your mouth until you find out the full facts!

      • Bob

        Gary,

Maybe, we need to define liberalism. liberalism is BIG GOVERNMENT. Our founding fathers rejected big government. They would be ridiculed by the left today. Jesus has nothing in common with the left today. They reject Him. They reject the Bible. Communists and fascists are big government people who use totalitarian means. They want people to be uneducated, much like the media today. The uninformed voted for Obamination.

I also think it would be better to pay someone $2 per hour than to give them free welfare.

      • http://marcum1@wildblue.net coal miner

        Gary

        Right on.

      • DaveH

        And Gary,
Has it ever occurred to you that children may want to work and earn money? Unlike useless Liberals who want to ride on the shoulders of other.
And I think your kind already has Mad Cow disease. Why else would they advocate Big Government when it has caused failed economies throughout the world. Don’t believe me? Here’s proof. This is a list of countries ranked by the amount of Economic Freedom they have (Smallest Government involvement #1):
        http://heritage.org/index/ranking
As anybody who wants to see can see, the poorest countries have the most Government. Do you think for a minute that their Big Governments haven’t promised their citizens all kinds of wonderful things, like the Liberal Leaders promise us?

      • always right

Wow! That was one of the most irrational posts I’ve ever read in here. It is also about 100% incorrect; sort of a double whammy of leftist babble. Jesus was a “liberal”? “Liberals” are responsible for clean water? Freaking amazing gobbledegook.

My only question here is why we call them “liberals” as they aren’t. They’re fascists. And why do we call “progressives”, “progressives” when they’re trying ot institute communism, a 150 year-old idea. Call them what they are: “Marxist” or “totalitarians”, “jack-booted thugs”, anything but “progressives”

      • EdinNola

There is no defence of Progressives that rings true. Today’s Progressives are Communists, you know, those draft dodgers that stayed home while most of us were out fighting Communism far from home and too often dying. The Communist way of life is nothing more than a hollow public relations scam. The Party Line . . . haven’t you ever noticed that all Progressives sound alike? They say the same things. Repeat over and over again the same lies?

The government part of Communism, just like the governing part of Islam, is a totalitarian dictatorship, if I may risk the dangers of redundancy. Whether they even realize it or not, Progressives in this country are the agents of a foreign power. We are now in the process of being converted to a totalitarian state, run by Communism. You will have complete freedom to do what you are told by the World Government. I’m not a radical, I thought those who warned of these developments in the past were nut cases. That’s what I thought until I saw it actually begin to unfold – if you can’t see it you need to open your eyes.

      Welcome to the Taliban, Bob.

      Gary says:

When you reject Liberal thought you reject our Founding Fathers and Jesus Christ. You reject clean water and prefer to die because you drank a glass of water.

Why are we arguing over who is the better of two evils? Why is the libertarian party excluded as a third party?Every day we sit here and [word removed] about how our liberties are being stolen and how the constitution is being ignored yet we all know that a two party system is one in the same but nothing is being said about a third party.Ron Paul has been warning people for years about the corruption of the feds but every one just wrote him as a radical. He has consistently argued that our liberties and constitution was systematically being destroyed. They called him radical! His foreign policy was to not get involved with other countries civil unrest because we are not the worlds police. They thought he was a radical. What we need is more of him in the congress and senate so we radicals can bring down this communistic take over and get on with our lives. If we cant do it now then who will. With the lack of history in our schools I have little faith that the next generation is even going to notice what freedoms are if they never had them. Its up to us and the writers here to spread the words of freedom, but if we dont get the right people in this time it is we are just wasting time and time is short.
      http://libertarianparty.org/platform

      • Russ

A lot of dissatisfied folks are mentioning “Third Party” candidates are what we need. Why not have 60 or 70 parties? You could have the pro-abortion crowd, the pro life crowd, Nazis, Socialists, Communists, etc. etc. We could even have a crowd that dissects every word of every statement made in the media, and they could tell the rest of us what it means.

Just because some guy or gal makes a statement that represents a thought that may be passing through your brain at the time doesn’t mean they can run a government. Check them out!!!

Our Founding Fathers carved out a niche for us as Americans, they shed their blood to make this happen, fleeting moment politicians have robbed us of these very real possibilities with negotiations.

One way to cut the size of the Federal Government is to eliminate the State Department, followed by burning the UN Headquarters in NYC. You got to start somewhere, why not eliminate the LIARS first.

A fleeting thought can be a dangerous thing.

        Thanks Russ

        • DaveH

Democrats want to save people with Other Peoples’ Money.
Republicans want to save people and the World from themselves (OR ELSE!).
Libertarians want people to control their own bodies and property.
The Libertarian Party is the only Party existing today that understands True Freedom.

          • DaveH

Why would any decent human being who respects his neighbor’s right of Free Choice want anything else?

          • eyeswideopen

DaveH, oops, so sorry, your guy is a radical.Don’t think our founding fathers wanted us to go to jail for attending a rally where radicals are.http://lastword.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/06/01/6764826-rand-paul-jail-radical-speech-attendees

Rand is acting like those people you accuse of being liberal. Seems as though he is actually asking government to be BIG BROTHER, and stop our free speech. Too funny for words.

      • Old Henry

        Dan az:

The last successful third party candidate was Lincoln in 1860.

Teedy Roosevelt was quite popular and ran on the Bull Moose ticket. He lost.

I do, however, completely agree that the Liberterian candidate should be allowed to participate in debates. I think the other two are afraid of what will be said / come out.

        • Kate8

DaveH, Dan az and others – have you seen this? The hostile takeover by the Federal Reserve of America, Canada and Mexico, now being fast-tracked.

It doesn’t matter who we vote for. They all work for these guys.

Sorry to disappoint, Kate, but the Libertarians want to do away with central banking.

          • Albino.

Actually the conspiracy includes Mexico in the North American Union and the new money will be AMERO’s. It’s been floating around ever since Clinton signed NAFTA into law on December 8, 1993!

          • Kate8

DaveH – What has that got to do with the article? Libertarians aren’t in control.

Albino – Did you read the article? It includes Mexico.

Kate, you said it doesn’t matter who we vote for.
            I offered a solution.

          • Al Sieber

Kate8, thanks for the link, they have the money and the guns, but we can still beat them by educating the people if that’s still possible and I still think it could be possible.

          • Kate8

DaveH – Just so you know, I have been a Ron Paul supporter for many years. I don’t trust anyone in the D’s or R’s.

Whether or not the Libertarians will have the opportunity to be a solution remains to be seen.

Barack Obama and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper quietly have taken a major step toward erasing the border between the two nations with a new “Beyond the Border” bilateral declaration.

In a ceremony designed to remain below the radar of national public opinion, Obama and Harper bypassed Congress to sign on the basis of their executive authority a declaration that put in place a new national security vision defined not by U.S. national borders, but by a continental view of a “North American perimeter.”

Sense our so called radar seems to be set to high maybe we should be using ground sensors and hound dogs to keep tract of what this sucker is sneekin around and doing behind our backs. They just don’t give up!The minute they get all this done means there will be no constitution or bill of rights.GET IT?Paranoid I think not! With the invent of the internet they have been exposed and every thing they do we see them with open eyes (well some of us anyway)Whats it gunna take.Insults don’t work, facts don’t either.I’m afraid we only have one box left and the keys are in your hands now.

          • Kate8

That’s correct, Dan az, and it’s how it’s being planned. Once the borders are erased, Constitutions will be no longer in effect, and there go what’s left of our rights and liberty, which are pretty much illusions anymore, anyhow.

The Federal Reserve corporate banksters will then rule over us openly, and we won’t even have any illusions about having a say in anything.

Anyone who has debt (mortgage, credit cards, car payments) will be a slave, and won’t have a leg to stand on.

Start the week right with a hate-filled article to get the juices flowing!

    • Bob

If someone from the right exposes the left – it is hate.
If someone from the left wants to kill someone from the right – it is opposition.

      • Colleen

You are exactly correct. When the lefty loonies say nasty things and villify some conservative, it is just pointing out information and freedom of speech but if a conservative points out the gross mismanagement of our current president and you suddenly are a racist and it is hate speech. Case in point: Eric Holder would not prosecute the black panthers for voter intimidation because it would be like “prosecuting one of my own people”. There are too many examples to list of the left’s hyprocracy!

        • Sharon

What does Eric Holder mean by “His OWN people” Does that mean a white Attorney General can be excused from prosecuting his own people? Eric Holder is a strange person

          • Dorothy Jones

Kinda like the congresswoman Wasserman-Schultz ( whatever her name is) from Florida and a democrat said. She made a stupid typical commment that,”All Pro-Life Republicans hate women; then when asked If All Pro-Life Democrats hated women, she was quick to respond, NO!” I see a bunch of stupid Politicians in this country when they make comments like this.

          • Kate8

We spend so much time responding to the accusations and outrageous remarks from Progressive posters here, as if they were actually real.

Here’s proof that most of these Liberal posters are fake. They want us to believe that there are more of them than there are, when their only objective is to psych us out.

          • Dan az

            Thanks kate for the site!
I feel that this is just the beginning of a tsunami of things to come.I need to start reading the news the day before to try and stay up with it.Talk about lighting speed,OBwan must have a red S under his shirt because it seems that he can be in more places than his cabinet, and still not miss a round of golf.I expect that the first amendment will cease to exist one night while we are all sleeping then there will be a knock at the door from homeland. When it comes down there will be no communication and know power or cell phones. It dosen’t look like there will be an election come 2012 or if there is they will just use these same guys to invent registered voter’s to take over the white house.Yep that’s change for ya!

The sexual exploits of a politician is a very important ingredient when making A decision on who to vote for. If they are immoral in their personal life they will make immoral decision in their politics. Hell Barney Frank raped the entire nation…..

        • Al Sieber

And he still is, they’re mostly all crooks and perverts that sold out our country, and their souls.

          • Al Sieber

And Obama won’t stop until we’re all communists and have no rights or country.

          • Kate8

Al – Don’t forget that O murdered at least one of his gay lovers, and attempted to murder another (Gary Sinclair) but he survived to tell about it. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Good grief. If a conservative had done those things, it would have been piped on media speakers 24/7 until the guy was finished. Politically anyway.

O gets away with virtually anything, and the same people who claim to care about everyone give him total cover.

          • karolyn

            Kate – Where’s the proof?

          • Albino.

WOW….. Never heard that before…… Thats going in my little black conspiracy book!

          • Kate8

Karolyn – Larry Sinclair came forward. He also wrote a book.

It is well known that O’s former lover was murdered because he was a threat to O’s candidacy.

These stories have been out there for some time. All you have to do is do research in places who expose the truth. The MSM has covered it all up.

I could post a number of links and you still wouldn’t believe it, so why should I bother. Prove it ain’t so.

          • Dan az

            Hey Al
It reminds me of caligula the fall of the roman empire with all their perverted guvmnt.Repeated history rings a bell?I only wish I could just wait for it to hit CD’s instead of viewing it live.

          • Karolyn

Kate – Hearsay gets a little tiresome after a while. When I go to look thigs up, there really is no proof of any allegations.

          • Carlucci

Well, I found a lot of stuff about this Larry Sinclair guy just by doing a Google search. This story comes as no surprise to me, even though I haven’t heard anything about it until today. I have excellent “gaydar”, and I’ve always thought ovomit seemed as gay as a goose – ever notice that he never holds hands with Moochelle? I’m not a fan of the Bushes, but at least Dubya held hands with Laura on numerous occasions.

Anyway, this appeared on WND today: http://www.wnd.com/?pageId=56626

          • Kate8

Carlucci – I wish I could remember the guys name who was murdered. There was a bit of a flap about in for awhile, and Sinclair wrote about it in his book. I think his last name was Young.

Notice how there has never been a single woman associated with Obama except for Michelle. But here have been a number of men.

          • Kate8

Karolyn – You seem to have missed the memo.

I COULDN’T CARE LESS WHAT YOU BELIEVE.

          • eddie47d

Karolyn; They don’t need proof when it involves titillating propaganda. They just put it out there and accept it as fact.

          • Al Sieber

Dan az, that’s why they murdered Julius Ceasear. and Kate8, I’ve read those same articles about Obama’s gay lovers, can’t remember where.

          • Kate8

eddie and karolyn – No amount of proof would convince you of the truth about your messiah.

          • Michael J.

          • Michael J.
          • karolyn

Kate – You guys just love to throw around the term “messiah” an awful lot. What’s up with that? I have no “messiah.”

          • Dan az

            Thanks Michael
I had read it too.I knew there would be one of us that could find it.It dosent matter because they will refuse to read it anyway. That’s why I don’t bother anymore its a waste of time and they know it.

          • eddie47d

Kate 8; Good Morning! As Karolyn stated Obama is not a Messiah and mine would be Jesus. Big Bad John pointed out that Conservative politicians commit sexual crimes and show lack of discretion also. Yet most of the Conservatives used Ringer’s article as an excuse to take on Liberals and Progressives. Not thinking that they could possibly have their fingers in the sexual cookie jar also.If you haven’t figured it out yet, every article and everyday is a set up for you to attack the left. Check out the stories titles and then the story itself . 98% of the time it is a one sided meat grinder aimed at progressives while trying to hide the missteps and misdeeds of the right.

          • Kate8

eddie – Obviously you’ve ignored all of the comments on this thread regarding sexual indiscretions, so I won’t reiterate.

I also see how you and karolyn latched on to a word (messiah – small m) and ignored all of the links that support the point. Typical.

You are a waste of time and oxygen.

          • JeffH

Kate8, it appears that today, June 1, you have become the latest target of “the tick”. Once a “tick” sinks it’s fangs in you they continue to burrow in until you burn ‘em off.

        • Old Henry

          CC!

That’s a good one!! Ya made me laugh.

      • Old Henry

        BigBadJohn:

Scummy progressive / communists are not exclusive to any one party. Scum like this is why we need to EXPAND the death penalty nation-wide.

Once convicted they should be sent to the gallows.

        • Al Sieber

          I agree, or firing squad.

          • Old Henry

Yep Al, that would work too, but a rope can be used over and over.

            Doesn’t UT have firing squads?

        • Buddy

Your gallows solution seems much to harsh. How about simple castration when elected?

        • eddie47d

Then old Henry why is Ringers article about bashing Progressives when those on the right are just as guilty. You and Lynn over looked that fact and pretend the problem doesn’t exist in both parties. It’s fun to bash the other side until your side gets caught with their pants down.More double speak by Ringer for political gain.

          • Old Henry

Not so eddie. I posted such earlier today.

          • Stan

eddie47d please take a reading comprehension class. THe atricle is about progressives on both sides.

            Here is what was written:

“Cicero’s words make me think not only of the radical progressives in the Democratic Party, but, worse, of progressives in the Republican Party who pose as conservatives — for whom Lindsey Graham is the poster boy.”

          • Carlucci

Eddie47d will never get it, because he’s still trying to attribute this whole mess we’re in to a democrat vs republican issue. Let’s see, he’s only been told about a hundred times that both parties are the problem.

          • JeffH

Stan and Carlucci, almost everyone on this board has agreed that both parties are contributing heavily to this countries demise, loaded with progressives, and have said as much on many, many occasions. Some are just a lot slower than others to pick up on it.

          • Kate8

JeffH – The libs just keep repeating the same mantras over and over. They never pick up on anything, because they don’t need no stinkin’ facts. It would only confuse them and throw them off track.

It’s their lie and they’re stickin’ to it.

          • JeffH

            Kate8, that’s classic “Alinsky”.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
            Joseph Goebbels.

“A lie told often enough becomes truth”
            Vladimir Lenin

          • Albino.

JeffH….. I’d be carful with quotes like that, as they could be used against religion just as easily!

          • Kate8

More elite symbolism: Congress voting on the debt ceiling on the very day the Titanic was launched.

          • eddie47d

I bring up comparisons because the majority on this site are Republicans. If the majority were Libertarians then they would get elected. They do not, so most of you can’t fathom that simple fact no matter how many times the Republicans get voted in. When the Libertarians ever do get in office then you might have something to crow about. Until that time it is still about Republican vs Democrat.

          • DaveH

            Somebody get me an interpreter.
Then again, I doubt anybody could interpret Eddie’s inane statements.

          • eddie47d

You have more than your pants down. For an intelligent guy like you sure is confused all the time. The way you Libertarians whine all the time you should apply for minority status for you always feel abused and left out.

          • JeffH

DaveH, OMG…eddies “man” fetish is getting out of hand.
He should consider doing recitations at NAMBLA headquarters or be the Master of Ceremonies for the SF Pride parade.

        • Al Sieber

Well Old Henry, that’s what they did to the dictator of Romania in 1988, him and his wife, tied their hands behind their backs, took them behind the palace, and 10- AK- 47′s. this was after a half a hour trial. probably .50 cents a bullet.

          • Al Sieber

And Henry, you can find the video of the execution on u-tube, if they didn’t remove it. and the trial, a short one.

      • ValDM

Don’t go confusing Republican with conservative………..they’re not the same. Just remember the term RINO, that should explain it all.

Feel better now that you got all of that out of your system? I am suprised that you haven’t exploded carrying aound all of that baggage filled with “hate” (as you progressive liberals like to point out)……

All sides have some “less than desirables” in their midst…learn it , deal with it….

Political tags – such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth – are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

Thank you for taking the time to point out that the repubs are not morally superior to anyone else. However, you will notice that they will not admit to the hypocrisy. Articles such as this one, show that they are willing to “vilify” and “ridicule” the liberals for bad behavior while not acknowledging that the repubs have not lived up to the moral and ethical standards they expect of others.

    • karolyn

You said: “Progressives and sexual exploits go hand in hand, can’t have one without the other.” However, “progressives” do not have a corner on that market.

      • Kate8

karolyn – Progressives may not have a corner on the market, but they do think it’s okay. You know what they say, ‘If it feels good, do it”.

At least a real conservative would feel shame.

Heck, Progressives encourage that type of behavior, not only among thenselves, but everyone else, too. Including our children.

        • karolyn

And you can prove this how?

        • JeffH

Kate8, this is what these “progressive sickos” are wanting to teach in our schools today, and the parents can’t stop them.

Gay Curriculum Proposal Riles Elementary School Parents

A group of parents in a California school district say they are being bullied by school administrators into accepting a new curriculum that addresses bullying, respect and acceptance — and that includes compulsory lessons about the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community that will be taught to children as young as 5 years old.

The parents from the Unified School District in Alameda, a suburb of San Francisco and Oakland, say these issues are best learned at home and most definitely are not age-appropriate for elementary school children.

The parents are also angry that they will not be allowed to keep their children out of the classes.

“I believe these children are far too young to be learning about what these issues mean,” said Alaina Stewart, who has three children who attend elementary school in Alameda. “These are adult issues and they are being thrust upon the children.”

          • Kate8

JeffH – Living in CA, I do follow what goes on in schools with all this sexual diversity indoctrination. As if our kids need to focus on this stuff and an ever earlier age.

Our children are being sexualized. It’s not hard to see where all of this is leading. There are books (written by liberals) about the “naturalness” of sexual relationships with children.

Karolyn – I’m not going to waste my time attempting to “prove” anything to you. Your heads are in the clouds, so that would be futile.

If you still aren’t aware of the things that are going on, then there’s no point in trying to show you.

            Have another lollipop.

          • Kate8

Karolyn – I meant “your head is in the clouds”.

            But whatever works.

          • JeffH

Kate8, do you remember the classes about Islam at Excelsior school in Byron, CA. The parents were outraged and rightfully so.
Peggy Green, the Superintendent of the Byron Union School district says that the school is merely reflecting the California guidelines for seventh grade and that the students are learning about Islam in the same way that they learn about Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, and other major religions.

In Elk Grove, California, parents were outraged when they arrived at school to find a banner in front that said “There is one God, Allah, and Mohammad is his prophet.” Some school children were chanting from the Koran and praying.

          • karolyn

Jeff – Puhlease! The younger they are, the better. Would it not be a much better world if we had less bullying and prejudice? You cannot be against that! The parents are obviously not teaching the kids to respect others, so somebody has to do it! Kids soak up what’s around them, which does not bode well for this country and this world.

          • JeffH

karolyn, you are nuts, clinging to that twisted and skewed belief. WOW! You’re so far out in left field it’s actually pathetic. A 5 year old being “indoctrined” by progressives and gender benders? Really, get some help…you could use it on this one.

Kids will figure out if they’re gay or staraight soon enough and they certainly don’t need to be influenced by the LGBT community or the public schools before hand…give me a break. Butt out, period!

If I had children and that type of “curriculum” was forced on them I’d have a piece of the school systems ass and home schooling would become the norm and start immediately. Screw the rest of them. I’d be sent to my grave before I would allow that to happen. Not on my watch.

          • karolyn

Jeff – It’s not like they’re going to instruct the kids on the birds and the bees! What’s the basic harm or just teaching tolerance and respect for others? I think 5 year olds can handle hearing that some kids have 2 mommies or 2 daddies instead of having one mommy and one daddy. It really doesn’t need to go further than that. I seriously don’t think that education is the same as indoctrination. I expect you to answer saying that it is indoctrination; but if done properly, it doesn’t have to be offensive (except to extreme homophobes and those who are intolerant, racist, prejudice themselves).

          • Kate8

karolyn – So, teaching kids to put condoms on cucumbers is just “education”?

It should be left to parents to teach their children the values they wish to instill, not government.

          • JeffH

karolyn, I’ll not waste any more of my time trying to reason with you on this. It’s WRONG, and that’s the bottom line!

            karolyn,
The spell you’ve fallen under was devised in the 1920′s at a place called the Frankfurt School under the name of “Political Correctness”.
It’s stated goals were to undermine western society in order to establish world wide communism.

            Here is their original agenda:

            1. The ilusion of racism offences.
            2. Continual change to create confusion/chaos.
            3. The teaching of sex and homosexuality to children.
            4. The undermining of schools’ and teachers’ authority.
            5. Huge immigration to destroy national sovereignty.
            6. The promotion of excessive alchohol/drug abuse.
            7. Emptying of churches.
            8. An unreliable legal system with bias against victims of crime.
            9. Dependency on the state or state entitlements.
            10. Control and dumbing down of media.
            11. Encouraging the breakdown of the family.

Even you can not deny the contemporary parallels in this nearly 100 year old wish list created by the desciples of Karl Marx.

So much for loving the sinner and hating the sin!

What comes around , always goes around and I see little need or purpose in going there unless it fulfills so deep seated desires.

I don’t approve of labels much, as it removed the individual and installs a generic face for some purpose that is not always completely clear other then to disenfranchise to gain control of something that is seen as clearly outside of your control and must be controlled.

The left is for big expansionist government. They consist of: liberals (“progressives”), socialists, communists and fascists.

The right is for LIMITED government. They consist of: conservatives and libertarians.

          • bob wire

Is that your final answer Bob?

I will confess, ~ due to the very distasteful nature of the topic thread, I only gave it a glance , my apologies. ~ after read Bad Bob’s flaming posts and several others, I responded. ~

Bob you do a great disservice to any “cause” with your crass ways and narrow views, I know of few that would be “against you” not wishing to stand that close to a potential lighting strike.

This thread is not news and but poor commentary on a day filled with grand issue.

Jesus had much this same discussion many years ago with the woman at the well, her claiming one husband while having three. You are not going to stamp this behavior out, it’s been tried by greater minds. Nor or you going to stamp out homosexuality as it been with mankind and the animal world from the offset.

Control “your” thoughts, control “your” actions and let God himself address these issues. He really don’t need your help if he is but half as powerful as you seem to believe.

            think about it.

Off to work, it’s a warm overcast muggy day here in Texas this morning ~ beautiful! I’m going to do something for the good of my country, ` work, pay taxes and attempt to live an example.

History show us this to be so, there is a track record that can not be ignored as much as you might wish to.

Ever hear of Home Land Security? Or Twice in recent years, abortion-rights opponents went to the ballot box in bids to ban abortion in South Dakota. And twice they lost. The second time, in 2008, 55% of state voters rejected a proposition that would have prohibited abortion, with exceptions for rape, incest or the mother’s health. Abortion remains legal in South Dakota, as its voters wish.

Conservatives attempt to force their “faith beliefs” on others while we are all left to ponder their merits or where it might end if left completely unchecked. Some are good and some conflict with personal liberties in a no uncertain way.

and I am a conservative but I can see this conflict.

TonyD, it is antithetical oxymoron to use the word ‘progressive’ to modify the word ‘conservative.’ If you feel yourself to be a ‘progressive conservative’ the Democratic party is looking for you; and, if you feel better there, then have the courtesy to cut the word ‘conservative’ from your dwindling vocabulary. McCain and Graham have no place in the ‘conservative Republican Party’ because in their districts Conservative Republicans no longer have the option of voting for the ‘lesser of two evils’ any longer. In districts running RINOs the only option is to vote for one of two equal evils of different names.

By the time H.L. Hunt was 36, he was one of the richest men in America. At one time he had a wife in Texas and another in Florida and had ‘an untold number of affairs and extra-marital children.’ He was finally waylaid by a reporter with the huts-bah to ask him why he was so promiscuous. We regarded his reply at the time as just arrogant retort to a bushwhacking reporter. He said, “It’s not a matter of promiscuity. My seed is of a superior quality and it is my duty to spread it as far throughout the population as possible.” Then there was JFK, Edwards, Clinton, etc, etc. On second thought, perhaps it wasn’t just a quip after all, but the unintentional revelation of innate pathology–particularly of elitists of all stripes, especially politicians.

    • Michael J.

      Thor,
Sounds like an over inflated sense of self-worth, or the rationalizing of a narcisistic psychopath.

In other words, your average garden variety elitist.

    • Carlucci

Yes, H.L. Hunt was a total jerk. Sometimes I listen to his daughter June Hunt, who is an evangelical Christian on Christian radio. She is one of the kids from his second or third wife. That man put a world of hurt on his “other families”. But he treated the kids from his first wife like gold.

    • BimBam

Oh great! Spread the genes of a promiscuous man around. Something in his DNA that says to CHEAT and not be a one-woman man and leave a lot of fatherless children around.

That’s not being very smart, either. So he’s also spreading a dumbass gene around.

      • karolyn

Genes have nothing to do with it!

  • Laws

I am amazed that only politicians are singled out here. Sexual activity is Americas National Pass time. The Government controlled News Media and Hollywood promote it 24/7 on the bub tube. Power and position attracts loose women like honey does to flies. Check the Education System even the elementary school has sexual active teachers with forbidden fruit and the religious group fairs no better. If people want to engage in sexual activity that is their business. Let it alone and allow God to pass judgement which one day soon He will.

    • Kate8

Laws – Corruption of morality is one of the main aims of communism. They cannot deceive a moral and God-loving people.

They’ve done it through media, advertising, infiltration of our schools and churches, and in every part of society.

They do it because it works, and renders us little more than animals.
In fact, less than animals, because man is supposed to be able to reason and make choices.

      • Michael J.

        Kate8,
The scourge you so deftly describe is called “Political Correctness” and was conceived and hatched in a Marxist think tank known as The Frankfurt School in 1920′s Germany.

      • eyeswideopen

Kate8, you cannot legislate morality! When are you radicals going to pick the correct Christian church to belong too? Can’t wait, as it will be a hoot when you are attacking the “wrong type” of Christians. Christians, are like political parties, many denominations, believing many different interpretations of the Bible. Heck, some don’t even believe in the Old Testament. Take three different people from their respective churches and you will get three different interpretations of the Bible, depending on the beliefs of their pastor, deacon, or priest. The thing that binds us together is the belief in Jesus. Just as what binds Americans together, is that we all believe in America greatness, accepting the differences in our people is what had made us great.

Even if quiet, deeds of mischief or blessing are never secret forever.

  • H. Kirk Rainer

First, personal misconduct or marital infidelity has been around a long time–and has nothing to do specifically with party, politics, or progressiv-ismm.

Second, attention to the left and right has no real application; it is merely the illusion of divided interests and a two party system. Party gives sway to politics at the core…especially in desparate times.

Finally, Egypt and the region is predominately about oil–as the core of trade for which the value is tantamount to blood…and essential for empirical hegeomony.

  • Donald

Since Ringer is against almost everyone, who is he for? Seems his piece is mostly a temper tantrum with no real ideas of his own.

    • Bob

Donald, since you seem to be reading challenged, I’ll spell it out for you. Ringer likes America. “Progressives” hate America. Conservative = good. Liberal = bad.

      • eddie47d

Okay kool Aid drinker Bob; Robert Ringer advocates for a civil discourse and then turns around and behaves very un civil. Ringer says we shouldn’t cast stones then goes about using a sling shot to cast many stones. Then he attacks “collective good” and those who advocate for coming together. Sounds like he wants turmoil. Our founding Patriots came together for the “collective good” of our new nation. As individuals they would not have accomplished much if anything and we would still be under British rule. “collective good” is a necessity to ensure that individuals can have the liberties that they and we now cherish. Ringers article was nothing more than a diversion from reality and hardly something for Conservatives to be crowing about.

        • Bob

          Eddie, Eddie, Eddie,
Ringer is not advocating civil discourse in this article. He is attacking liberalism. He is pointing out some of the tactics of the left. Here is a paragraph of the article:

“Civil discourse is fine, provided you are dealing with civil people. But progressives are not civil. They lie, cheat, deceive, vilify, ridicule and fearmonger… to name just a handful of the foul tactics they employ. Nothing — absolutely nothing — is out of bounds for them.”

Our founding fathers were opposed by many colonists. They would be greatly opposed by the left today. They stood for LIMITED government and broke free from a government that was infinitely smaller in scope than the one we have today. They would be appalled at our welfare state and government control of our lives.

Ringer is not trying for us to get along with the left. It must be defeated. Much like cancer must be removed, we must remove big government from America to have freedom. That is what this article is about.

          • JeffH

Bob, Ringer summed it up pretty well in his last few paragraphs.

“Just to come full circle, I should close by saying all the sexual sickos I named at the outset of this article happen to be progressives. However, honesty compels me to admit that not all progressives are sexual sickos — dangerous, but not sick.”

“Progressives are the enemy from within that is moving quickly to destroy what is left of America, so it’s important that you and I not be distracted by the political tabloid stuff. Our focus must always be on our loss of liberty, not Schwarzenegger’s libido.”

          • Kate8

JeffH – Did you notice that Arnie is being sued by his love-child’s father for a fraudulent birth certificate?

Granted, it’s not his OWN BC, but it’s still fraud, and BHO is still getting away with it.

          • JeffH

Kate8, yeah…good ole Arnie. I’ve boycotted his movies ever since he became “just another progressive” in Sac. Did you know he’s buddies with Warren Buffet and the Rorhschilds?

An article published by Reuters, titled, “Buffett’s back with the Terminator,” described Arnold and Warren Buffett descending by helicopter to a meeting at the ancestral home of the Rothschild Dynasty.

Billionaire Warren Buffett and mean machine Arnold Schwarzenegger touched down by helicopter on the immaculate lawns of Waddesdon manor, a Renaissance-style chateau in the undulating hills of Buckinghamshire.

The get-together in the ancestral home of the Rothschild banking family will discuss economic and political issues, the organizers said.

Among those invited to Waddesdon Manor were the likes of James Wolfensohn, president of the World Bank, Jorma Ollila, chief executive of Nokia and De Beers chairman Nicky Oppenheimer.

          • Kate8

JeffH – Yeah, I know he’s one of THEM.

I guess we should have paid attention when it came out that his father was a NAZI. We were trying not to judge him by another.

The differnce between us and the libs is, when we find out a politician isn’t who he said he was, we get it. When it’s a Dem, the libs just refuse to believe it and/or give them a pass.

          • JeffH

Kate8, I think folks got tied up to much with his movie persona and his tough talk. The same thing a lot of folks did when they jumped on the Trump wagon…we have to be smarter and look beyond the words…look where that got us…can you say “Hope & Change”?

          • Kate8

JeffH – Actually, I think it was more that everyone was desperate to be rid of Gray Davis.

I was a Tom McClintock supporter, but Arnold had the name recognition and talked a good line. He promised to “kick b*tt” in Sacramento.

            Right.

          • eyeswideopen

Kate, did you write letters demanding that Ensign and Vitter resign? if not, why not?? Why didn’t you hold them accountable for their actions?? Hyprocrisy at it’s finest!

  • Old Henry

Good article Mr. Ringer. And you are correct – we nust not take our eyes off the ball. This is going to be a long arduous battle.

I know you were dealing with American scum, but you should have mentioned the sweaty little IMF dirt-bag.

All the communists you mentioned are typical of their ilk – do as I say, not as I do.

DC is an Insider’s Club. The Right/Left show is for the consumption of the masses. Behind closed doors, they party.

In the first place, by the time they get far enough to run for high office, they’ve already compromised themselves somewhere along the way to get the funding. So they’re already corrupt.

Then there’s human nature, to be part of the pack. It’s easy for people to get sucked into the lifestyle of those with whom they associate, especially when there is opportunity o’plenty without much in the way of consequence. Heck, “everyone does it”.

That’s how politics is set up. The corruption starts early. A sell- out here, a promise there, a few drinks and the abundance of forbidden fruit, ripe for the taking, that comes with privilege, money and power. After all, they aren’t like the “little people”. The powerful get to MAKE the laws, but are not bound by them.

If you expect anything else, you’re looking in the wrong places.

Old Henry, you summed it up quite well: “we must not take our eyes off the ball”. Like many of us, we’ve realized that the Marxist/comm ist/progressives will “never let a crisis go to waste” and their intent is to always keep the ball moving with these distractions.

      • eddie47d

Good grief Jeff, Khan of the IMF is no Marxist yet you keep trying to blend that in as a fact. Not! I think Ringer and most of the authors on this site are the ones who never let a crises go to waste. Most is repetitive nauseum with little problem solving. These daily distractions that they write about only confuse the already confused minds of those on the right. Sorry Jeff,You know I had to point that out.

Just about everybody I know has heard me talk about how I like and can usually agree with Robert Ringer, one of my favorite authors from back in the late 60s when I first read “winning through intimidation,” (I know, they say not published until ’74 but since I got out of law school in ’69, how did I read it during the law school off season doldrums between quarters? Oh well, maybe the old mind and memory has really gotten a little too mushy to keep orderly track of such things.) except when he starts, has started, talking about how much better republicans are than democrats; as I knew, know and probably will always believe that George Wallace was right, even back then.

Anyway, what’cha gonna do when the well runs dry? Sounds like this republican proselyting senior statesman is saying that not only is there not a dimes worth of difference, there really isn’t anyone out there worth worrying with anymore, either, period.

Maybe Tim cox really has something going on with his http://www.goooh.com (what a name for a good concept – probably better than my old daddy’s “vote the bastards out” for a party name, though).

  • THINKING ABOUT

When you live by the sword you die by the sword. When the Republician stood for spending over $100 million to “investigate” Clinton does not promote less goverment or less control. How many of the libertians ride on our highways and enjoy other “benefits” of goverment issues. Just ask yourself the question, if you don’t like having a military, police and fire protection just to name a few then you might be able to get to your point in life. Lindsey Graham has the guts to stand up to and say the things many more should be listening to. Perhaps he is in the understanding organization of some areas of our lives is the best road. I have yet to read in this site anyone who has the first usuable idea in running a united nation but continue to output vile words which is not constructive in peaceful existance. Don’t accept the results of tax dollars, get a life and do something great for this great nation.

    • ValDM

      Graham??? SERIOUSLY???

“Terrific energy is expended–civilizations are built up–excellent institutions devised; but each time something goes wrong. Some fatal flaw always brings the selfish and cruel people to the top and it all slides back into misery and ruin.”……….C.S. Lewis

I would suggest that the fatal flaw un our ‘ointment’ is ‘leaders’ that think they can say or do anything that pleases them without impunity. If you think you’re beyond punishment or censure, then “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.” This is what’s wrong with our country…….we’ve lost our moral compass as a nation.

      • Buddy

The quote from C. S. Lewis is right-on.

Another timely quote, this from Issawi’s Laws of Social Motion, says that if an organization carries the word “United” in its name, it means that it isn’t. (What’s that about Scotland voting to leave the U.K.)?

      • THINKING ABOUT

Might the same theory apply to everyone, at least Graham is taking a position and just not falling to the feet of everyone around him. Smart man, probably one of the smartest, we should listen to him more often and would not find ourselves off wondering in the ditches trying to drum up dirt when he is guiding us down a straight road.

        • ValDM

Graham sure has taken a position………right up the O’boy’s butt. Um, um GOOD.

  • LiarsMustBeDefeated

Will you join in the chorus and call a spade a spade? The problem is a moral and ethical problem. It does NOT matter what label the candidate carries. Progressive, Democrat, Republican, Communist, Libertarian. It honestly does NOT matter. Ringer is twisting words to somehow make conservative better that progressive. Let that be as it may. A lying, cheating conservative is no better than a lying, cheating progressive. And, to be perfectly clear, Obama is a liar and a scoff-law. He has and is committing crimes against the people of this country. And, he is supported by RINOs and progressives that ALL need to be SHOVED out of office, ASAP.

  • http://PersonalLibertyDigest Barb Kennedy

“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”….This is why God sent Jesus Christ to the earth, to save us from our sins…

“Republican” does not mean flawless saint.
    “Democrat”does not describe evil heretic.

As a Christian, I sin daily. This is why “I die daily”….because my old nature is still lurking. He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone….

    • Bert Cundle

Real Christians, are basicly good people. But, they are misled by the bible! A Sin ( Offense )Against God, Should be Judged by God, as Self defense. “CIVIL”. Offenses Against Other People, Must be Procecuted by the Offended! Civil. { Earth is the Pit of the Universe.} Learn from each other!

  • Bert Cundle

Ellen G. White… Said: Things continue the way they are going, there won’t be enough sane people to take care of unsane! If the Prisons fill up with petty offenders, their won’t be enough gards. Unless the Criminals guard the Criminals… Now look at Government!

  • ONTIME

There are a couple of prevalent probs here, let’s start with the voters who allow these public officials to be elected, they need to be informed. Now that’s a help not a cure because agendas are influenced by the willingness of support and the pandering of the politician. The other item is the credibility of the information and the MSM has really made this difficult with their willingness to support a destructive liberal left agenda and by failing to accurately report the alleged fallacy or strengths of canddidates they manage to cheat the voters and make for less responsible government hat comes from the tax payers.

Along with this is the irresponsiblity built into government and the immunity to prosecution or reprimand, the government simply wants a CYA policy that protects them far to much from the horrendous problems they manage to make and yet are immune to any kind of penalty other than wait until the next election….this is now seen as wrong as rain in the middle of summer.

I say it’s time for government to be put on notice and that changes to guard the publics confidence and expectations are going to come. Term limits for one, no more retirement and perks packages for wanting to serve in public office, only a decent salary by voter approval, finally a public audit of all earnings and holdings while holding office, the publics trust should be trust but verify and all credentials need to be in order….We need real change folks if we are to have a hope that we have a representative government of “We the People.”

  • Bob from Calif.

Their sexual sicko attitudes come from their liberal ideas that everything is relative. One persons sin is another persons fun. They get caught up in the situation. It’s ok all the other politicians and elites are doing it so why can’t I. I am to powerful to get caught and if I do get caught I’ll just pay off the people involved and that will be that. No one will tell on me, because they are just as guilty as I am. If they do there will be hell to pay.

The whole time these guys don’t even know that they are being set up, or putting themselves in a position to be blackmailed. All these guys think that they are too powerful to be cannon fodder. The problem for these people is that the truth has a way of working its way to the surface. Every move these people make is being watched by someone. Unless the whole world is corrupt the evil that these men do will be known. Besides God is writing all of this down, and in the end they will get away with nothing.

  • Templar

It is time – long past time – that we as a society, a nation, and as individuals, expect more and demand more from our public servants and ourselves. There must be high standards to uphold, and the standards begin in the home, extending outward to every instance of social interaction. Freedom and liberty are beloved concepts to be cherished, but can only be valid if tempered by responsibility.

    • Raggs

Well… “public servants” is what we DO NOT HAVE what we do have is the public serving the elitist… Shuffling the deck only mixes up the players while the public remains the losers.

You know it’s weird to me to see the tactical call outs on Progressives knowing firsthand that political Conservatives practice some of the most illegal, patently hypocritical and unethical Modus Operandi out there. They are deflecting in this instance or blaming the other side for what they do themselves. This isn’t to reign applause on the heads of progressives either; I just think it’s the pot calling the kettle black. Just because you can point the finger and yell”OFFENSE” doesn’t mean rival political factions are spot free in the same instance. Get your moral act together- either your on the side of real Liberty or your in the bag with all of the Salinist Statists- whether they have a R or a D by their name.

    • bob wire

LOL! good for you ! Herman,

But the truth is not pretty and if you wish to truly understand it ~ you will be required to look at the Me Tarzan , you Jane thAng with your blinders off.

Men and women natural nature is to propagate. ~ and while many subtle things are in play on both sides, things we can see, hear and smell, many are not.

For a woman, a man must pass several tests, it’s her driving nature to birth a strong child without her being conscience or deliberately mindful of the process. Smell is the more important then appearance ( it’s a chemical thAng), she will reject a man over smell without knowing why. ~ A successful mate is seen as a most desirable trait as well, as this might be transferred into the child.

So , yes, women are attracted to power. Why do you think that the devil shows so much interest in preachers?

    • bob wire

PS, I quit using bottle scents or deodorants years ago ~ You don’t want to have anything to do with a woman that doesn’t like the way you smell regardless of how pretty they are.

Cut the herd down early and spend your time and money only on qualifiers and live a drama free life.

I don’t know who to vote for. Sarah and Bachmann will make fine housewives. And Cain and West will make fine retirees BUT DO NOT VOTE FOR ANY OF THEM.

Why? Deep inside people don’t respect blacks or women. We need a strong white guy like Reagan and I don’t see anyone like that at the moment.

But oBombma the usurper has to go NOW! By court order and face arrest for high crimes and misdemeanors. Then go after Congress and the Supreme Court.

All his appointees and laws must be reversed immediately. No need to feel guilt about blacks. We are the nation that freed them at last. But not for the ungrateful SOB to bring it down. Let’s get to work!

Please, ladies and gentlemen! Just because the liberals now want to be identified as “progressives” to further try to hide their character and intent does NOT mean WE have to call them that. Just the fact that you speak about Graham favorably, would tell most people all they need to know about him.

I used to get those from Boxer and Feinstein, too, telling me that they’ll keep my views in mind.

          Right.

          • JeffH

Oh yeah…the “generic” response…me too, I don’t even open them anymore. Funny thing happened though, during the mid-terms Boxer changed to adding the title of my issue in her responses…that came to an abrupt halt after the election.

  • http://personallibertyalerts John Despard

Don’t we have enough to do trying to win souls to Christ, live in a Christian manner, etc. than casting judgment on what others do in private. If people do something in private that does not harm us personally or threaten us in some ways we should leave it up to our legal system to judge and punish them. Morality and ethics can not be legislated 100%. We can make it known that we disapprove of certain actions but it is not our position to judge unless we are a judge or jurist. It is our legal system’s job to judge them at this time and eventually GOD who will make the final judgment.
