In a recent interview with Bloomberg, Senator John McCain lavished praise upon former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton whom he thinks will be a formidable Presidential candidate.
The failed Presidential candidate and longtime Senator said that, with the exception of the handling of the Sept. 2012 terror attack in Benghazi, Libya, Clinton served as an “outstanding” Secretary of State.
“Being a loser, I’m not sure what I have to say would be very impactful,” McCain said to a group of reporters.
“I don’t think there’s any doubt that Secretary Clinton would be a very strong candidate,” McCain. “I don’t think there’s any doubt she has widespread support. Her work as secretary of state, with the exception of this issue of Benghazi — which isn’t going away — I think has been outstanding. I think she would be viewed by anyone, Republican or Democrat, as a very formidable candidate for 2016.”
McCain went on to praise Vice President Joe Biden, saying that the Vice President is a “wonderful guy” and that it would be “a shame” to rule him out of the 2016 Presidential race.
