even back in biblical days, there were political views expressed.

But the man who looks intently into the PERFECT law that gives FREEDOM,and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—He will be blessed in what he does.JAMES 1:25

Thank you Scott and Tea Party participants coming from all over for their outstanding job of getting the word out to independent voters who know what kind of “Change” they want, not the kind that is trying to take out country into SOCIALISM (Communism) to take away our freedoms that the precious blood of the sons of America bought.

America, I am so gratified that you are waking up and participating in the political process to preserve our way of life. We are already deeply into the far left socialistic agenda, it will take a lot to reverse what has been done, but I can now see that your courage is gaining strength. WE THE PEOPLE MUST TAKE OUT COUNTRY BACK, now or never!

    • JR Malley

I know America has had, historically, a very limited political and philosophical debate but by some stretch of the imagination to lump socialism & communism together as a mutual evil is embarrassingly simple minded. I know of no one that wants to see a child go hungry, a person to go wihout needed medical care, a family homeless or a child denied education. Yet, for the sake of waving a flag and shouting ‘I am free’ you would be willing to sacrifice a significant part of your fellow citizens to suffer and go without such basic and essential care and protection. Are you really that blind with false pride to have one of the riches countries in the world have more children living under the poverty level in New York then some African countries?

      • Mark

Your statisitcs are not only unfounded, but lack any bibliography. The point that most people make when lumping Socialism and Comunism together, is that the people in those societies end up without most of the freedoms we enjoy, but are quickly loosing. It has nothing to do with who has food and who does not. Which by the way, in a society like ours, we are the govenment, thereofore we go out and help people. SO put your money where your mouth is and go and eleviate some suffering like all the Christian Churches in this country do. It is worth remembering that many or our grandparents left the utopias of Socialism AKA Communism to come to a country wehre they could get our of the poverty they were in. Because of the Socialist structures, they could not go any farther because Socialism and Communism oppress the spirit on inovation and a free society. At least here in the US you can go as far as you want to without the government telling you that you can’t. Redistributing your hard earned wealth at the expense of those “many who just want to milk the welfare system at our expense is the mantra of the current administration. Most of us are always willing to give a helping hand in this Christian Nation, but that help we give is for those that need to help themselves. W egive them the chance to work for it. The opportunities are here. That is why so many imigrants are pouring into this nation. If it was the other way around, everyone would be leaving. they come here because like our forefathers they have a chance to work their way to a better life. But there will always be those who think that we all owe them a living and liberals who are all to willing to give it to them for a few cheap votes and at the expense of our hard earned paychecks. I advocate the support of our constitution, not undbridled Capitalism, nor unbridled Socialism. Both systems use people as a means to their own end. that’s utilitarianism. A society without God. A republican form or representative government founded on law which is Judeo-Christian is the only way our country will surive and leave a lasting legacy for future generations. Read the founding Fathers.

JR, let’s get simple and minded. Socialism means subordinating the needs of the individual to the demands of society. Communism means subordinating the needs of the individual to the demands of the commune. Should we pick a different word to name the same reality? How about “communitarianism”, which means subordinating the needs of the individual to the demans of the community?
In each case, we see might makes right, truth is a matter of numbers, and the sacrifice of the individual to the group is supreme.
The economic reality of each of these three (and Nazism, which is national socialism, and fascism) is exactly the same: the command economy, the centralized economy, vs, the free economic choides of all individuals, since society is ONLY the total of the individuals who live in a geographic area (a fact conveniently ignored by all talk about society, community, the needs of the whole, the responsibility we have for each other). And, it fails to feed its people, as witness the speech Gorvachev gave in which he announced the need for perestroika, the restructuring of the socialist system.
Life is the possession of individuals. To keep it requires action, guided by the best thinking that person is capapble of. To act effectively, a person must not be interfered with. He must have freedom, freedom from physical force directed at him or his property by criminals, government, or neighbors. When he is free from the interference of other men, he and they benefit the greatest by trade, persuasion, and the right to go one’s own way, if others disagree with him.
So, freedom is a vital NEED of the life of each and every person. The use of government to take away what a man has produced and to give it to someone else IS the only form of sacrifice of one’s neighbors there is. Failing to grant freedom in an entire country is simply the wider practice of that cannibalistic interference with each mand’s free use of his mind and his hands to supply his needs.
So, the well-being of one’s neighbors is not the result of the freedom you decry. Their well-being depends on them having the same freedom to think, learn, work and keep the property they earn.
Those are the plain facts of reality. Too simple-minded for you?
Don’t claim to be against human sacrifice, when you advocate a society in which the life, property and rights of individuals are sacrificed to the unending needs of others.

250 million have insurance, the poor have Medicade, the old have Medicare, 30 million are probably illegal immigrants maybe 5 million fall in a category that have a job that pays too much for Medicade. They are people who have lost their job thanks to Obama’s job killing policies, they can buy Cobra for a while. There are a few who have catasphoic illness that maybe have used up the maxium insurance paid out or can’t get insurance. We shouldn’t destroy the insurance of 250 million to give to the few, it makes no sense, that’s why this isn’t about insurance it’s about the money. We don’t want or need total government control of health care, when they realize the real truth of this dirty deal they won’t want it. We’ve heard these talking points & we reject it. Simple measures would be better and cheaper. $5,000 per year per person wouldn’t even take out an appendix. The only business that will thrive is the funeral business.

At last, the era of the arrogant, liberal super-majority has ended, and not a moment too soon! The people of Massachusetts have spoken, and hopefully, so will the rest of the country in November!

  • Mark C.

Congrats Scott Brown! SOOOO happy the democrat hold on that state is ending!

  • Leroy

You do have two gorgeous daughters. They obviously got their beauty from you. After all, their Mother still has hers!!! Congratulations on a great win. Do us proud.

    Scott Brown,
I was born in Massachusetts, and I am so proud of you. In case you underestimate the feelings of Americans in other states, you give us hope for the future.
I am so convinced that the Health Bill is unconstitutional, because the funds were taken from a TRUSTEE Medicare Account for a new entitlement program benefiting people who did not contritute to the Trustee acct. Timothy Geithner was Trustee of the account until he appointed someone to cover his tracks. The Secretary of Health and Human Services, who was scheduled to administer the Plan is also a Trustee. Medicare was solvent until 2017. Muddy, isn’t it?
I am thrilled that you have a law degree. America needs you. I feel that I’m looking at the next President of the United States. Thank you.

Amen – if the Lord be for us – who can be against us? This is MUICH MUCH MORE THAN A POLITICAL STATEMENT. These people (Obama) admin. have tried to get bad things (lies, distortions, back-room politics) past the American people BUT THEY WILL BE DEFEATED. STAND UP AMERICA!!!!

It good to see people waking up to the fact that the government is starting to here from We The People.

My only hope is to see the same in Ill, where we have Mr Arrington running for senate taking the office that the Obama.

This is a right not to be infringed upon by Big Government, Arrington asserts. “We must not allow ourselves as a country to go down the road of Nazi Germany. to read his statements go Arrington For Senate web site.

    What A Joke!
This guy is bought out by the same drug industry and bankers that every Repuke owes to their election… soon we will see

A THIRD PARTY IS THE ONLY OPTION

    • http://lauralu laura green

You may be right, I’m not sure how many more chances we’ll have to get it right.

    • Lungdocmom

What are you talking about, Obama is the one making deals with big Pharm and AARP, AMA, big Insurance. The Republicans are embracing Conservatism again because we the people want it.

  • Jody

Clearly we need a third party. I’m guessing a woman who posed nude would not have a snowball’s chance in hell to win any political office in this country. Wait until the voters of Massachusetts come out of the ether……………………………

  • hermannelson

I hope this guy won’t turn into a RHINO like That fraud who is the current Gov of Kalifornia I won’t hold my breath. They recalled Gay Davis and got another Gay Davis on steroids.

    • Lungdocmom

People should have wondered about him because Arnold is married to a Democrat Kennedy family. We usually can understand people by the company they keep. Too bad everybody ignored Obama’s friends.

  • butch

has anyone noticed the stock market drop ever since this guy was elected?

    • Lungdocmom

The stock market went down as a result of Obama’s remark that he was going to tax banks. Nobody is going to invest in a market driven by the job killing policies of Obama. I have money but I’m too scared to do anything with it. Nice that you want to blame the Republicans, they aren’t the ones in power. The market was good under Bush and we were safer. Just get out of our way because we are taking the Country back and return it to prosperity.

  • http://www.aynrand.org Paul Beaird

    I quote from Richard M. Salsman’s article at http://www.capmag.com:

“Effectively pledging his support for President Obamas main aim of intensifying the degree of socialized medicine in America, Brown told NBCs Today show, the day after his election, that ‘I never said I was going to do everything I can to stop health care reform. I believe that everybody should have health care. Its just a question of how we do it. Do we have a one-size-fits-all plan or do we allow the states to get more involved and do what we did [in Massachusetts]‘.

” Far more important for todays political context is the fact that Scott Brown has endorsed and voted for the same kind of socialized medicine that Ted Kennedy himself endorsed and actively sponsored from 1962 to 2009. For example, Brown voted for the socialistic MASS-Care, adopted in his state in 2006 a government scheme which compels health-insurance coverage for 98% of the states populous, has caused less freedom for health-care providers, rising costs, huge state spending deficits, supply shortages, and diminished access to actual care. Two decades earlier, in 1986, a referendum in Massachusetts, directing the state legislature to urge the U.S. Congress to enact a national health care program, won 66% yes votes. Subsequent referenda demanding socialized medicine were approved by Massachusetts voters in 1994, 1998, 1999, and 2000, and in 2008 ten state districts voted by large margins (averaging 73%) to instruct their legislator to support such a scheme. A state politician since 1998, Scott Brown didnt oppose any of these referenda.

“Joining most politicians, he endorses the welfare state, which robs people of free choice. A true opponent of socialized medicine would endorse the statement that Guaranteed medical care to all citizens is not a responsibility of state government, but Brown specifically refused to endorse it, when asked.[1] He also acted in full accord with this view when, in 2006, he joined Democrats in voting for MASS-Care socialized medicine in Massachusetts. Hed likely vote for a similar bill at the national level. Brown has made very clear that he is not opposed to socialized medicine or even Obama-Care, but only the possibility it might impede socialized medicine as now practiced in Massachusetts, or might entail back-door deal-making that excludes Republicans or special favors for Massachusetts. This is also the view of conservative Republicans like Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Eric Cantor (R-VA); they do not oppose a government take-over of health care sector; what they want is a bi-partisan approach, meaning: they want to join Democrats in gaining the power and receiving the favors that a socialized scheme entails.”

We cannot trust the Republicans or the Conservatives to lead us to freedom from Progressive/socialist schemes. We need candidate of whatever Party who are dedicated to repealing all the past legislation that will restore a federal government operating with nothing more than Constitutional limits, dedicated to individual rights as the moral principle underlying the only proper functions of government, dedicated to maximizing freedom and minizing the programs of those who only want to use government to press people into living the way they want them to choose and live.
Unfortunately, for all the hope in the face of despair we have placed in Scott Brown, he is one of “them”. We will have socialized medicine, just as he voted for it in Massachussetts. If we are to win our freedom, we must press harder on the Republican Party to choose Tea Party candidates.

  • butch

the stock market was good under bush? GEORGE W BUSH? HELLO

  • Joe Brown

I am very very sad that a pro gay or black socialist/communist did not get elected in Mass as this state has the correct mentality for a complete ultra liberal agenda.
