Schwarzenegger Blasts GOP For Hypocritical Approach To Stimulus Package

March 1, 2010 by

Schwarzenegger blasts GOP for hypocritical approach to stimulus packageCalifornia Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has accused fellow Republicans of being hypocrites for criticizing last year’s recovery act while willingly accepting stimulus money for their own state.

Speaking on ABC’s This Week, Schwarzenegger stated that the $787 billion stimulus bill was imperative and mocked members of the GOP for not working with the current administration.

"I find it interesting that you have a lot of the Republicans running around and pushing back on the stimulus money and saying this doesn’t create any new jobs," Schwarzenegger said.

"And then they go out and they do the photo ops and they are posing with the big check and they say, ‘Isn’t this great? Look what kind of money I provide here for the state.’…It doesn’t match up," he added.

The California governor also agreed that the GOP was the "Party of No," as many liberals have branded it. He said that Republican opposition to President Obama is driven by the party’s desire to win mid-term elections in November.

Arnie is just smoothing his own consciece from caving in to Barry.
    Another specter.

    • L, USA

Yes Mary, he’s a R.I.N.O. Where is the stradegy? Has he thought there is no real need to govern, and let his state take a dive? Fame will never replace true leadership.

      • RJ Benefield

RINO!To the bone baby!Hypocrite to the max!Just because some one agrees to a stimulus in one given situatipn does not mean he or she is obligated for eternity!I guess Gov Rino thinks we have a never ending flow of cash. What should the GOP say yes to? aparently the Rino supports the Obama administrations eforts to Tax the average citizen into slavery.Sorry Arnie the tax payer have been rapped enough!I don’t care which one of you morally bankrupt thugs have’t had your turn yet!

        • Joe H.

          RJ,
We DO have a never ending flow of cash and that is the biggest part of the problem. The fed just keeps printing and the dollar just keeps falling!!! Get back to the gold standard!!! We had the strongest cash in the world when we were!!

          • RJ Benefield

I reaize what you are saying is true, but printed money with no real monetary value is just an illusion! And our government is not above horrding gold and silver! The american reality is we all work for that paper and we sweat blood and tears for that already shaky dollar. At the rate our government is going we will be nothing more then indentured servants to the government. Most of us wil be living on small rashens and stipends, with little control over our own life (let alone our thoughts). Most won’t have access to gold, silver or precious stones, the dollar will be worthless, leaving America a formerly free nation, fallen under the boot of an elite few, proped up by drones and slave that use to be called Americans!

  • http://www.yahoo.com/?fr=fptb-msgr Jean

And there are people that listen to him IOI

    • Joe H.

      Jean,
      Only in Kalifornia!!!!

  • Kris

Schwarzenegger wants us to think he is a republican but he like the rest of the politicians, lies! If he were a true republican he would end sanctuary cities for illegals and cut off all funding such as welfare, food stams, schools, instate tuition, and all the other “free perks they get for breaking our laws and leeching off the American taxpayer to the tune of 80 billion a year! he makes me sick and should go back to making movies and get the hell out of politics! If he were to do that, he would save Callifornia billions of dollars, and actually make jobs for citizens. But California voters seem to want all of these perks for illegals so as Marie Antoinette was reported to have said, “let them eat cake”. Actually she never said that but it is a good analogy anyway!

  • J C

Arnie is a trained Hamster. What part of hyper-inflation doesn’t he understand? As a result of the unConstitutional system of Federal taxation wherein the states recieve the drippings from the Federal table, we get State Governors like Schwarzennegger playing the fool just to get Federal funding when they completely mismanage their own internal affairs. It’s a pathetic way to run a state or a country supposedly based on freedom and responsibility.

  • http://Q&A mary howland

I think his little woman is calling the shots. and he calls everyone else girlie man when he went crying to Barry. Get a backbone Arnie and act like an American.

    • Joe H.

      mary,
Did you REALLY expect a man married to a Kennedy to be a true conservative????

    • momof4

Mary, Good point that is what I was thinking. How can you be married to someone who has totally different values than you. You really can’t, he really is a rino and a whiner wawawawawa California needs a bailout.

  • Ronald

He has made the full conversion to willing mouthpiece for the driven agenda. Of course politicians are jockeying for the mid term elections…that is American politics. What is he unclear about how that works?? And I suppose he is stating these obvious facts to appear as though he hasn’t any hypocrisies of his own…pretty soon he will confirm his RHINO position and start voting as if Maoism is the best way to subjugate the people and get over this charade of elections.

    • http://Don'thaveone Sally

All you have to remember when it comes to Arnie is where he comes from period paragraph. He has already lived under socialism and loved it. He can take his wife and move back to Germany where he belongs.

      • norm

Sally< i believe Arnie is from Austria. Close, but no cigar.

        • Michael J.

Pay attention Norm, cigars was Clinton’s gig. Just the thought of it was enough to make Monica blush.

          • Claire

Didn’t you read what DaveH said? He said Monica was all groin up now. I thought I would die laughing. That was funnier than heck. That comment made me laugh all day.

        • RJ Benefield

What do you mean no cigar? I would be happy to give the man a cigar! Whats the problem here? The tax payer can fly Arnie and his brood to Germany and then they can all hop a train to Austria!Sound good to me.

        • Norm

norm I agree with you, but please stop using my name!!!

          • JeffH

Norm, don’t be so sensitive. Can’t you see norm doesn’t use Norm. ie capital N?

  • Ronald

As with most men of little principles he has sold out America to foreign powers and has become a hopeless buffoon trying to find some dialog that makes him sound strong. Remember, he was just acting when he appeared heroic in the movies, otherwise he is as they all seem to become; lapdogs to their monetary masters.

  • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

I just love the way that Lucifer uses both weak-kneed intellectual types, such as our school system uses to spread progressive thought and the idiots, people like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kennedy, on and on! It’s like why do the idiots and geniuses have the same political views? All my life is a circle, isn’t it? There is very fine line between an idiot and genius, good and evil, isn’t there?

    • L, USA

Victor, The line is between night (darkness) and day (light), you see.

  • Steven G. Poyzer

Does anyone really take anything Schwarzenegger says seriously? He is no Conservative, he is no real Republican, he is merely an opportunist and a legend in his own mind.

  • kickk

All money dolled out by the Federal stimulus will eventually come out of our (or our offsprings’) hides. But Arnold is very much for taking Uncle Sam’s (our) money. Arnold came into office to clean up the economic mess of his predecessor who got disgracefully booted out of office. But Arnold made things much worse by signing off on even more out-of-control spending. It seems the American dream from the government’s perspective is to spend like the is no tomorrow and stick the bill with those who aren’t even born yet. Arnold has fully bought into that much to California’s detriment. No political/economic system can last long under those conditions. Arnold would make a Democrat proud.

Where’s Tom McClintock when you need him?

    • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

He is a Kennedy, don’t ya know? And, they are proud of him, I assure you!

    • Mary

Arnie is a Liberal Demo. He’s a Kennedy. All these politians are corrupt. Both party will continue to take money from the producers to the non-producers to avoid a revolt. Imagine 20% percent of 300 millions not counting the illegals without food stamps or any benefit. The elite has to protect their life style. The situation of the country cann’t go this way for long. Something big has to come and it doesn’t look good at all.

      • Joe H.

        Mary,
Arnie isn’t a kennedy, his wife is, but she holds the pouch strings!!!!

        • Claire

Pouch?? You mean purse?? Just teasing!!

          • Michael J.

            Hi Claire,
I beleive JoeH meant pouch strings, as in dog leash.

          • Claire

            Michael J— O.K. Pooch!!

          • Joe H.

            Claire,
no I meant pouch strings, if you get my drift!!!!

          • Claire

            JoeH—Ahhh, I think I understand now!

          • Joe H.

            Claire,
            Yup I think you do!!!

  • Robin from Arcadia, IN

Arnold is a RINO. There are so many problems in California that would go away if the illegals were all deported. California cannot support those who are here illegally. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out!

    • J C

A blind eye is deliberately being turned towards illegal immigration.
Don’t forget the “globalist” agenda is to break down the American culture and economy.

      • Joe H.

        JC,
I guarantee you that wouldn’t happen under Duncan Hunter!!!! He is the reason 50 miles of the proper fence got built. He kept at them and raised hell with them till they capitulated!!!

        • Claire

Joe H–And this is what America needs. Someone that will do something about the illegals. It may sound cruel to some people but my gosh, we simply cannot take in anymore! They all need to go back where they came from.

          • Mary

It’s to late Claire to clean up the country. Nobody has pants or care about the country. Looks like we are doom like Europe. They are going to be mayority Muslim in twenty years max…There is no light in the tunnel.People is saying the president and Co. are stupid. The sad reallity is that more stupid are the ones that voted for them. Uneducated masses and WT are the mayority. Deportation and a great Wall like the one in China is needed. We need a Patriot with a knowledge of World History. I got acid reflex since BHO is president I cann’t believe his utopic point of view. Like a world free of nuclear weapons. If a country is not ready for War cann’t protect his citizen and cann’t keep Peace.

          • Michael J.

            Mary,
We must remain optimistic, where would we be if George Washington and the original American colonist had not stood up to the worlds greatest super power, the British?

  • Greg

It’s no wonder him, Biden and Obama get along so well they are all just as stupid as the other one is. The three of them need to be thrown out !!!

  • Leonid Kelner

Arnold! The Hypocrit is you, as well as many Republicans who spent like crazy in previous years until people voted them out. Now, you will get voted out together with all of your Liberal friends in Congress and many other governors will lose their sits since they are spending too much. Your time is over. People had enough! Boot out everyone who thinks our money are theirs.

  • Curtis

If the average “Joe” on the street knew the statistics regarding the Illegals in just California alone the guns would send them packing back across the border. The Fed, and Nancy will not allow that to become common knowledge. Enjoy these last days.

    • norm

Correct. It’s all done with smoke and mirrors. The American sheeple don’t have a clue..

      • Michael J.

        Norm,
I know this comment is sarcasm on your part, otherwise it would be out of the norm for you. Be careful, this may be taken out of context by the likes of Phil or EWO and result in your being exiled from the “Useful Idiot Club”.

      • Norm

        norm
Repeat – Please use another name or add a letter or two.

        • Claire

Norm–I agree!!!! It is confusing because there have been a few times I wanted to answer back but I was not sure of who I would be answering to!

        • Michael J.

          Norm,
I agree, the other guy should post as Normal Norm. that way we would have no trouble distinguishing between you.

        • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

          Ladies & Gents;
It it easy to differentiate between the two Norms by just reading what they say in their posts. It’s apparent to me that we have a new “normal” Norm,(a warm welcome to you sir), and we still have the other “abnormal Norm” that has been hanging around here looking for acceptance, or his welfare check,…. or something.

To the “new politically conservative Norm” I say welcome aboard brother!
To the older “abnormal liberal socialist Norm” I say eat —-

  • Sylvia Keppy-Dow

I’m not sure that Arnold was ever a “real” Republican to begin with. However, I do give him credit for some of his decision as Governor of CA, as he inherited a mess from the former Democrat governor.

In the case of fingerpointing, let refer to the old biblical adage of “Let him without sin cast the first stone”. This applies to all politicans, whether Democrat or Republican.

    • RJ Benefield

I am not looking for a sinnless politicians.Just one or two who do not hate and blame the American people for everything. It might even be nice to elect someone who understood who they were suppose to be protecting and peserving.

  • JSE

ALL are waiting for the opportunity of the mid term elections, Arnie!….Not just the politicians! We voters can hardly wait to dismiss you RINO’s and BIG government liberals from your duties! The only Hypocrites are politicians like you!

  • http://zoomtown.com charlie

He has ridden the coat tails of Kennedys so long and with them out of the picture he now is trying to ride Obamas..Didnt hear him comlainwhen Calf.got bailed out now no money and its the only way of getting more sucking up tp Obama and his whimmpy wife.

  • charlie

Actually i believe it is up to the governor to refuse the money, not the legislator, whatever the voting record is.

I’m certain a lot of state and local city governments benefited because about 2/3 of the grants were to prevent lay offs at their level.
However this is not stimulus, stimulus would create new jobs. not maintain employment that for some reason is not funded.

An analogy: You have a boat and it has a leak. Bailing out the boat is similar to providing support for jobs scheduled to be laid off. Job stimulus and creating new jobs is akin to fixing the leak.

we need to fix the problem not the sympton.

  • J.M.R.

arnie needs to back where he came from and take the idiots in the white house with him!!!

  • kathy

Arnold seems to have fogotten that the Republican states that wanted to refus this stimilus money were forced to accept it.

    • s c

Kathy, ultraliberal progressivism’s gift to California politics (Arnie) might be a first-rate economics czar. That is, Arnie knows SQUAT about economics, so he’s automatically ‘qualified.’ Arnie doesn’t know what choice means. He doesn’t know the difference between forced, economy-destroying economics and choice (what a talented dude).
As a last resort, Arnie could replace Gore as the weather czar. Obviously, no one needs any credibility, experience or training for global warming – or economics.
Or maybe Obummer could double up as a temporary prez and a global warming czar. The possibilities are almost endless when America has so much “talent.”

      • Phil

Kathy, the Republicans who took the stimulas money were forced to take it?… How..?.. You republicans are a riot …

        • Claire

I don’t think any of the governors were forced to take the money. I think they decided to take it because their state is in financial arrears. It is a damned if you do and damned if you don’t situation.

          • JC

Claire the unConstitutional top down tax system is designed to do exactly what it is doing. It keeps State legislatures on a leash dependent on the Feds to drop a few crumbs from their table.
We aren’t supposed to be Federally taxed. We’re supposed to be taxed at the State level and only then by a fiscally responsible State government. The income tax itself is unConstitutional. And it all goes back to the Federal Reserve and the criminal legislature of 1913.
Arnie’s just whining because he has bigger problems and wants bigger money from the Feds. So he is in reality no different than any other State Governor….a trained poodle in place to give the illusion of local representation. Time to get back to the a Constitutional Republic.

        • Michael J.

          Phil,
Well let’s see, first you starve the economy, and then you dangle the carrot of government control. You and Obama are phooling no one.

        • RJ Benefield

conservitive are a riot and ultra liberals are a tragedy!

  • J.M.R.

    thats go back

  • DiverDan

You seem to forget … he is married into the Kennedy CLAN,

    • Jana

Yes, and he is the one that’s a hypocrite. That’s like the pot calling the kettle black. He needs to go back to acting- ha, actually he has never quit acting. He is trying to act like a Republican and a Conservative, but he wins no Oscar, as his acting is terrible. We all see right through him.

      • http://www.ccrkba.org. Dartanian

Acting? You call that ACTING? lol When he was a hollyweird hero I would’ve given him about a 4 for his “acting ability”.
As a liberal socialist in government, I give him a 6 for his “acting ability” and a 10+ for his ability to lie without cracking a smile! ;-)

        • Claire

Sorry, but Arnie can’t act his way out of a paper bag.

          • Joe H.

            Claire,
come on now the comedy he did about Christmas was funny, course that could be because of the supporting actors he had!!!

          • Claire

Hi Joe H—I saw that movie too and it was cute. And I have to admit Arnie was funny. He didn’t do too bad.

  • http://www.DownsizeCa.org JKeyes

AHHHNOLD you do not get and you will never get it. Taxes hurt, debt hurts; a strong governor helps, lower taxes help. Now go home to the Kennedy compound and shut the gates behind you.
    Elect Steve Poizner for Governor.

    • http://email cynch

LOL. You’re right, he should run back to behind the Kennedy gates or do movies again. He’s a progressive repoblican and California is no longer dreamland. Run AHHHNOLD.

  • http://yahoo.com Anita Eitmann

Look you idiot why are you trying to destroy America as it was founded? After all we allowed your sorry
a– to come here and take advantage of our capitilistic system. We allowed you to become a multi- millionaire. You need to use your sorry mouth to praise our system as it was originally founded. What do you want America to become a big California? You destroyed California with your socialist, communist programs.

    • Norm

He pays more taxes than you do. We can use more like him.

      • Claire

I wonder how just much money the rich do pay for taxes? Is there a list somewhere? Just curious.

  • not impressed

    Mary,
He really isn’t an American. He only is a naturalized American and wants to give it to all the others like him!

  • Charlie Tall

Arnold forgets where the money is coming from. He thinks the President will wave his magic wand and create it out of thin air.

Once the stimulus bill was passed, the nearly 800 billion dollars became a debt, an obligation, that each and every citizen will have to honor. Every state will have to pay taxes to redeem that debt.

So why would anyone in his right mind refuse to take the stimulus money knowing that he was going to have to pay it back eventually?

Take it and later pay it back, or don’t take it and later pay back the part the other states received. What kind of sense does that make?

Any state that refused stimulus money would in effect condemn its citizens to paying more for less.

    Idiotic!

Arnold is not playing with a full deck.

The party of no? Nonsense! Once the stimulus bill was crammed down our throats by the tax-and-spend liberals, it became an economic reality that had to be dealt with, and paying for it is a very real consideration.

So what Arnold is essentially saying is that once the Democratic administration passed the bill, the Republicans should refuse to take any of the money, leave it all for the Democrats and their cronies, but wait! Wait! You hypocritical Republicans will still have to contribute “your fair share” when it comes time to pay the piper.

    This is typical Marxist nonsense.

    • Joseph, Northern CA

Governor Schwarzenegger is no different than most of us. He will spend as much and as long as the free flow of money is available. The question, do you think money is born out of thin air? The answer, YES it truly is fake money. Our Federal Reserve is simply a printing press. One that is willing to crank out paper money of no value just so we will continue to work for it in exchange for our labor. If our dollars were backed by some tangible items like gold and silver there would be a limit to how much printed paper dollars that could roll of the press. Every governor and DC official would have to watch their spending. To confirm this, give a credit card to anyone and tell them they do not have a spending limit on the card and watch them act just like our government. There is a true madness that takes over the individual who have on limits set in their lives. Tiger Woods comes to mind. You want our government to control their spending; we must set a standard with rules and controls in place. Place our currency under an obligation to respond to a tangible item that is pursued by many, like gold and silver.

      • Joe H.

        Joseph,
not All are that way. my wife and I pay off our credit cards each and every month!!! We have never paid a cent of interest on a balance the whole time we have had them!!!

      • JC

Joseph, you’re observation is spot on. It most certainly is fake money backed only by our (slave) labor. And your comparison to giving someone a no limit credit card is an excellent example of how our government is behaving.
I forget who said it but there is another comparison I like.
        - Government is like a new born baby a mighty appetite at one end and no sense of responsibilty at the other -

  • http://bwmelton@atmc.net B Wayne Melton

Arnie needs to pay attention to running his Liberal state. he certainly has nothing to crow about there. If he adhered to my suggestions, he might have come out of his own state’s bankruptcy!

  • Norm

    Arnie does have a point.

    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123759908731101583.html – articleTabs%3Darticle

    • Joe H.

      norm,
Yeah but they don’t count the point on his head!!!

  • Lorene

He only says what they tell him to say in order for him to get money to save his state. We would all be better off if they would keep their nose out of the other states business. He is a RINO anyway, and he has ran his state into the ground, why should we pay attention to anything he has to say and if they are going to give “our tax money” away why not go ahead and take your states part, it is better than having them fund their own pockets.

  • Former_Democrat

The only hypocrites are the Democratic liars and the RINOs. Several states reused and others were threatened by Obama and his jackboot Democrats to take the money. Missouri Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill lied on Kansas City rado when she said “If these bills are not about producing jobs and raise the debt and are filled with prok, then i will not vote for them” Then she turned around and became Obama’s cheerleader. Arnold is too stupid to know anything abouot integrity and leadership. It is time for the party to get rid of him, the Maine stepsisters, McCain and any other non-conservative. Clean our party and become the party of fiscal conservatism, moral conservatism and the party that reduces Federal Spending and debt.

  • nuser

    My my
Arnie shows some integrity and insight and you can’t see it.

    • RJ Benefield

You are so right! I can’t see it.

      • JC

But I DO see a moron of a State governor who feels that funny money and wealth redistribution are the way to solve his problems.
Why bother going through all that painful reality of cleaning up your act when Poppa will send you a check from out east?

  • redhawk

Just ONE Question AANOOLD….Waht can you actually pretend to know about the Stymulus other than running a State so deep in the Toilet to Beg for Tax payers hard earned money to pick up the missing income you need to fund the idiocies of Progressive political demise and watch businesses and citizen Escape the land of LOONS!

  • Eric

Well Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger I’ll just run outside during the next rain storm in anticipation of money dropping out of the sky too; no worries of who will pay for it and being fiscally responsible. Wow isn’t the magical kingdom of Obamaism great. Too bad we couldn’t wave the magical wand of fairy tales over all the politicians out there instantly transforming them into Pinocchio’s. It would be quite interesting just how long their noses would be. Heck, then Obama just might have us covered from sea to shining sea.

  • chuck b

california is no doubt the den of the loonies. we have a actor for governor, he convinced a lot of people he was a conservative, no easy task for a liberal democrat, but he pulled it off. now with the state in the throes of a depression and arnold is heading out the door we have moonbeam brown standing in line to take over the reigns. people forget what a mess brown left the state in when he was governor for two terms.now the sad part, hes most likely to win again in california. it must be the sunshine.

  • s c

Gov. Arnie’s main problem is in being a closet ultraliberal progressive. He went way past being a RINO years ago. He’s afraid to come out of that ultralib progressive closet because ‘it’s safe and warm in there.’ To take a guess, the only thing he can’t do is kiss and worship his own posterior (what a lofty goal).
Arnie is a typical creature of our political hypocrisy zoo. He can “recognize” it in everyone around him, but he can’t look in the mirror and see what he needs to see.
Between Arnie and queen nancy pelosi, California has ZERO credibility. Ultralibs, you deserve these sleazoids. America doesn’t.

  • JeffH

Being a native Californian, I can tell you Arnie hasn’t made friends on either side. He’s totally spinless when it comes to making decisions here. He is nothing more than a coward. Mindless!
Don’t bet on “moombeam” Brown to replace him. Meg Whitman seems to be the early favorite.
Arnie’s words mean nothing in this state.

  • J.P.

Schwarzenegger is just a bag of wind. We don’t even support watching any of his movies anymore. He is NOT Mr. Cool anymore!

    • JeffH

I’m with you on that…been that way for over a year now.

California used to be the 5th richest economy world wide, UNTIL ARNIE TOOK OVER. I guess all the socialist giveaways, free college tuition and SANCTUARY CITIES FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS DON’T WORK AFTER ALL! Somebodies got to pay for it!
How do you run the 5th largest economy world wide, into the ground? Put a crazy, and ignorant Austrian in charge of it, give him a few Barbara Boxers, Diane Feinsteins, and Nancy Piglosis, mix in a generous amount of big socialist spending programs, and just wait a few years. Sooner or later the money runs out!!

    • eyeswideopen

Stephaan, you mean to say that a Republican ran a state into the ground? Was it with help from the other repubs or was he powerful enough to do it himself? LOL.

      • Joe H.

        eyesscrewedshut,
f that’s what you call a republican, I can see you ARE blind!!! There’s no way the kennedys would let a female of their clan marry a true conservative. Hell, Joe kennedy would be rolling over in his grave and the dirt over his grave is smooth!!! I knew Arnie wouldn’t be a Republican in anything other than name!!!!

        • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

OK Joe, so far we’ve got welded, epoxeyed, riveted, bolted, glued, & screwed. Which of us is going to run out first? Can we sub-catagorize the welding into arc, gas, brazeing, mig and tig? I would also suggest that we sub cat. the bolts into types, and thread pitch. Whadda ya think? LOL ;-)

No offense eyes, I’m actually starting to like you, but only for your 2nd amendment support, NOT your liberal socialist views on everything else. This is something that just caught on between me and Joe quite by accident. :-)

          • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

P.S. Joe, I just remembered you had “soldered” and “crimped shut” so I’ll raise you a “clamped” and a “vice gripped” shut!
Ahhhh, and yet ANOTHER use for vice grips. ;-)

          • Joe H.

            Stephaan,
Darn man you jst took two off my list!!! I’m going to have to go back to the drawing board!!! hehehe!!

      • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

No eyeballs, Arnie isn’t a republican. He’s just a rino liberal socialist that gave conservative repubs a bad name. He didn’t do it all by himself, but he had the “last hand” in signing his oakey doakey on the bills. Cali has a very generous bunch of liberal socialist chumps in the legislature that wrote a lot of social bills, BUT Arnie didn’t HAVE TO SIGN THEM.
Arnie is actually one of YOUR guys, not ours. I thought you could recognize a liberal socialists by now. Maybe an Austrian socialist looks and acts different to you, but to us, THEY ARE ALL THE SAME!

        • eyeswideopen

Stephaan, I just have one question, why did the people in Ca. elect him? Are you saying that for all these years he didn’t show his spots? Suddenly he just became a RINO? You people are really funny. It isn’t as though he is young and just got into the Republican party, his views have been out there for years. The answer is that the repubs have been spending everyones money for 12 years without answering to anybody, now suddenly they figured out that they have been wrong, and now only they know how to fix the problem they created. Too funny.

          • Michael J.

            EWO,
You are very good at reciting past events. In fact you are somewhat of a google guru. So here’s my challenge, tell us what will be? Tell us what should be? Descibe for us your idealic utopia, and then tell us what will likely transpire in spite of it.

          • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

            Eyes Sewed Shut;…… (score Joe H-8; Stephaan-6)
Get with the program Eyes. Cali is a BLUE state.(that’s why their social programs broke them lol) More ppl vote liberal than vote conservative. He was/is a rino, so many conservatives did not vote for him. The liberal socialists voted for him and the conservatives voted for 3rd party candidates. The same scenario that got Osama elected.

      • JC

EWO, A Liberal Activist Supreme Court is running 50 states into the ground, and has been doing so sinse around Alexander Hamilton’s time.
But you go ahead and stay on the left / right hamster wheel. No point in understanding how we really got here or just how deep the poilical sickness runs. No point at all…

  • eddie47d

Arnie certainly aproved bills in his state that he knew he couldn’t afford. So he does have to take blame for endangering his state. I do believe all states are in debt and facing many of the same problems. Remember that California does have the largest population in the Union so the problems are sometimes magnified. California also has the 6th largest economy in the world and at times have kept America afloat. California also gives more to the Federal Treasury than most states. In other words, for every dollar they send to Washington they get much less back. Unlike Alaska which sends a dollar in and gets $1.80 back. I would like to see less goernment money going in any direction, but life isn’t always fair.

  • chuck b

it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to understand what happened to california. you add federal, state and county employment, millions of illegal immigrants along with the most generous welfare and none of this produces one dime and then you minus the private business that the liberal legistlatures have taxed out of the state you come up with california. broke!!!!

    • Claire

The millions of illegal immigrants is/was the killer. I don’t know why in heck they don’t round them up and get them out of here!!!! Illegal immigrants are all over the U.S. The state police here in Illinois catch vanloads of them on I55 once in a while. I got stopped one time doing about 6-8 miles over the speed limit and they cautioned me about it. But I think it was because I was driving a full size Chevy Van, and they were doing spot-checking. I had news for the state cops–I didn’t have any illegals in my van nor pot. They were sure surprised. My van was full of show dogs. I was heading for a dog show! And all 5 dogs were barking their heads off at the cops. Ahhh, memories. What fun. I am rambling again. Sorry.

Claire – I think we all enjoy you —

        • Claire

libertytrain- I sure hope so, I can get kinda goofy sometimes. I know I enjoy all of you on this site. I feel like I know all of you personally! Love all of you!!

  • karl koebke

As long as Democrats equal to Socialist’s govern California nothing will change. It is time for the State to go bancrupt! Or runn all the polititians, including the worthless Governmental bureaucrats out of town and take the teachers union with them.

  • ONTIME

Der Uber Guber is blowing his smoke again, Ahhhnold likes to make the noise for fiscal responsibility but his social issues are enough to bust your piggy bank into smithereens. He hasn’t quite gotten the concept that all his social issues cost a lot of loot and that cap and trade is really crap and steal, it is these kinds of illogical relations that has caused jobs and wealth to leave this state, driven taxes thru the roof, destroyed the hiway systems and the infrastructure, increased the number of welfare recipients and denied Kaaaleeephornyaa students aid for college and fundamental financing of schools in general. These policy contradictions are destroying this state and the legislature is in need of being pared to a part time status, there is a need to abolish these so-called state unions and especially the teachers union and replace them with associations that will allow more freedom for the teachers and the tax payer. Der Uber Guber will not be with us much longer and hopefully this bunch of dummies we call voters can realize what we need to make California prosperous and liveable again.

    • s c

ONTIME, if more people knew the TRUE cost of having
union employees [salary + artificially-padded retirement + protected legal status], they’d have a tough time getting jobs sweeping streets.
When it comes to teacher unions, I never did hear anyone justify how a union teacher deserves more than a non-union teacher. When a school is stuck with an incompetent who can’t be fired, the entire community suffers.
Thank God, Obummer and his bunch could never unionize MDs. That would have been the last nail in American healthcare’s proverbial coffin – and an easy way to makes concentration camp hostages of the American people.

  • chuck b

people in california must remember one thing, you can’t keep blaming the governor for all this problem, we have had democrat control of the state legislature for many years, they are the ones pulling the purse strings, when gray davis was governor we found out in a hurry what full democrat control does, not unlike what we face on the federal level. unless we break the stranglehold of the democrats its useless to complain. between the public unions and liberal democrats california has no future.

    • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

You’re right Chuck, but Arnie had to sign off on all those spending bills that the liberal socialist democraps designed and served up to him.
He is the one person that could have stopped it, but didn’t want to because bigger government is the way of socialists.
Like your other post at 12:11pm alludes to, as long as they keep getting more and more people dependent on government(illegal aliens, welfare cases, unions, etc) they will keep getting MORE votes in all the future elections, and continue to grow bigger government. Eventually, if we allow them to continue, everybody will either be a government employee, an illegal alien on welfare, a poor “legal citizen” on welfare, or homeless. There will be no more middle class.

      • Claire

There will be no more middle class is correct–Just the rich and the poor will be left. The middle class has always paid the piper. Government has always gone after the middle class, just look at what all the middle class has bought and paid for. Paid for? I don’t believe they used the money to pay the bills.

        • eyeswideopen

Claire, you are right, that is why we will be known as the United Corporations of America sooner than we think. When you have 2/3 of the corporations not paying (contributing) taxes, and the middleclass holding up the entire system, it will break. Fl is in same shape as Ca. We depended upon the republican run government to use fiscal responsibility and they failed us terribly. Since 1996 when they got control, they have been spending, spending, spending. Our lottery was supposed to take care of our schools and they robbed the fund for other projects. If you look at the republican states, they all seemed to have followed the same outrageous spending that we did. Why doesn’t anyone ask the question why and how did they get away doing what they accuse the Dem’s of doing? Now that they have all been busted we are supposed to trust them again to handle the taxpayers money?

          • Claire

eyes–I will speak my song and dance again. This country has been going downhill for 30-50 years. What with all the uncontrolled spending and the wars, it has taken its toll on America. America is in a hole but it did not happen overnight. The Democrats and the Republicans should have realized that they couldn’t keep taking from the kitty and not putting it back. I screech about lobbyists, earmarks, pork and the favors. Well, every administration has done this. Wars? Seems like a war of some kind happens with every administration. The Iraqi war–well we should have bombed the heck out of them and come home. Same with Viet Nam. Sure innocent civilians would have been killed but do these countries care about killing U.S. citizens? I think not. We bombed Hiroshima–that put an end to the war in a hurry. Maybe I am wrong about all this but this is what I think. The coffers are empty. The cost of the war has taken its toll, along with the incredible spending. How in the name of the good Lord are we going to get back to being a prosperous, strong country again? It will take decades, if ever.
I am not trying to be doom and gloom but electing new people may or may not help. We will end up with a mixed bag and they won’t work together. It will probably be like it is now and the way it has been in the past. And we shouldn’t re-elect a lot of them. It is time for a number of them to be voted out of office. Geez, I am to the point where I don’t think we should even have “parties.” Just vote for the person. Sometimes I think the “party” system is why we have all these problems.

          • Claire

Eyes–I didn’t answer your question. No more money to states. Let them balance their own budget. They caused the mess. Let them do without their planes, hotel rooms, limos, take a cut in pay like some of the rest of the people, etc. They can have bake sales, garage sales, etc. Egad! That is funny! Seriously, maybe then they will learn their lesson! And then no one will run for governor because they won’t want to deal with the mess! I remember when Illinois started the Lottery–the money was to go for education. Guess what? Only God know where it went because it sure didn’t go for education.

          • Claire

Eyes–whoops, forgot one- I don’t trust any of them with the taxpayers money.

          • Michael J.

            Claire and EWO,
Both of you mentioned states lottery. I can’t speak for Illinois but in Florida the Lottery was billed as the saviour of education. Since it’s conception, the monies going to education were termed “Replacement Funds”. This means that as funds come in, an equal amount is siphoned off for who knows what while never actually increasing the education budget by even a nickel. In effect they created a slush fund to be utilized in what ever manner they saw fit.
Foul money that funds pet projects.

          • Claire

Michael J–That is ironic. Illinois said the Lottery would be used for education too. And guess what?? Our teachers have to buy a lot of their own supplies. God only knows where the money went in this corrupt state. Now our education system is in a shambles.

  • Harry Buttle

Over 100 Republicans in Congress have been documented taking credit for stimulus jobs and then saying the stimulus created no jobs.

Boehner got caught on video. Jindal mixed in a little state money and then claimed the money all came from the state. Perry threatened secession, rejected money that would have kept some Texans in their jobs and in their homes, accepting only $11 million to rebuild the house he would then live in. Then, when the the publicity died down, Perry quietly requested tens of millions more than was offered originally. Shelby is holding 70 nominees hostages demanding a $40 billion corporate welfare ransom in exchange for releasing the holds. What’s wrong with calling out hypocrits? What’s wrong with saying the truth?

    • Joe H.

      Harry,
not that I dispute anything you say but how about some sources???

      • eyeswideopen

Joeh, here is the list you requested.
        http://thinkprogress.org/touting-recovery-opposed/

        • Joe H.

          eyesbastedshut,
While your list appears to be right, I would say even you wouldn’t argue that it is a liberal site. I even only noticed one dem on the list. I also noticed the second biggest benefactor of these funds is your state and the rest of us will end up paying for them so why shouldn’t the reps try for funds for their state if they are going to pay for it anyway??? I know if Ohio had to pay for these funds through taxes and my rep didn’t try to recieve funds to offset some of the taxes we will obviously pay I would be pissed!!!

          • eyeswideopen

Joeh, it was late, I was tired, so I knew I could go to that site and get your answers, sorry, I was being lazy. If you like I can go and find a site which you will accept.

          • eyeswideopen

JoeH, you are right about my state. It is republican owed and run, and yet we took 9.5 billion from fed. Our leaders spent like there was no tomorrow and I am guilty as I helped put those repubs in office who had no fiscal restraint. Sorry. I always assumed that the repubs wouldn’t lie and would use good fiscal judgement. They all proved me wrong.Once again, sorry.

          • L, USA

            eyestuckshut,

Always check the fiscal voteing record or practices of your Republican champion first, Then vote!

          • Claire

L,USA–I thought I had checked, and look where it got me. Too many politicians say one thing and do another. Or they are “for” something during a certain administration and yet during another administration they are against it. A lot of them are wishy-washy and do not take a stand for the good of America.

          • Claire

L,USA–I am rather disillusioned tonight because my husband is so aggravated with health reform. He is such a good person, quiet and all. But gosh, today he was bent out of shape because he watched the news channel all day grousing about health reform. He has “settled” down now. He just thinks it is a bad idea, thrown together without much intelligence. And I agree with him, if it is going to be done, then it should be done correctly but that is impossible. The economy and jobs should be dealt with first.

      • Claire

Joe H–I cannot stand pretty boy Boehner nor jumping jack Jindal. I never could. They are not sincere people. They have always turned me off. It is my gut feeling again. It is their mannerisms, body language. Boehner is so in love with himself and Jindal is not a leader, he is a follower trying to be a big boy.

        • Joe H.

          Claire,
Let’s not forget that jindal tried to turn down the stimulus funds and the feds made threats that made him take them!!!

          • Claire

JoeH–Sorry, but I still don’t like him. I trust my gut feelings.

          • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

I would take Bobby Jindal any day over my liberal socialist, bleeding hearted, ignorant, uneducated guv…. My guv is a JOKE!
Bobby Jindal has always appeared to me to be a really honest straight shooter.

          • Claire

            Stephaan–who is your governor?

          • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

            Claire;
Ted “the KOOK”engoski (D,liberal socialist) is who they say is my guv, and was supposedly elected, but I don’t recognize him as such. He is more liberal than Arnie, but doesn’t have as much media power, because he doesn’t have the name recognition.

          • Claire

Stephaan–Okay, I’ve heard of him. Isn’t it sad. We should have respect for our elected officials, but the game of politics has ruined just about everything that is good and decent.

  • Sonny M

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a Democrat in a Republican suit. He is just another liberal socialist politician.

  • crisaf

Arnie learned to lie from his ties to the Dems. He said that the stimulus created 150,000 jobs. He could not tell were they were created as the unemployment rate for CA keeps increasing beyond the published 12%.

  • Phil

Ok, you have allkinds of vile imature names to call Arnold… But is he telling the truth…? Have the same republicans who’ve called the Recovery act socialism and communism, claimed the act didn’t help… Have they excepted the money?…any of you so called conservatives have an honest answer?… It’s called hypocracy… It’s what republicans and conservatives are… Of course it’s ok to be hypocrites because youre Christians and patriots … Right?

    • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

Yeah Phill, YOU & THE OTHER LIBERAL SOCIALISTS WOULD KNOW the definition of HYPOCRISY wouldn’t you? It is in your genetic makeup. Sorry but we cant help you with that! Once a socialist, ALWAYS A SOCIALIST! That is, until your government welfare programs run out of OTHER PEOPLES MONEY.

    • Peggy

I have an answer for you Phil. I am a conservative. I can answer you Phil, because I DON’T hate you.

Why should I hate you? Because you falsly accused me of hating the government, laws, and unions? You were actually 1/3 correct! I DO hate the unions Phil!

We certainly don’t agree on some things, but that disagreement in no way, impairs my ability to see the reasoning of what you say. And PC will never stop my tongue from expressing my thoughts truthfully. No matter how disagreeable you may find them.

You are correct Phil. These fakes ass conservatives and the RNC are making real conservatives look really bad.

Just as the far-left liberals and the DNC, make democrats look really bad.

I don’t get this denial either. Conservatives should be shouting-down these neo-cons AND the RNC. It should be torches and pitchforks, running these bums out of town. The silence is deafening, and I’m starting to believe it is combination of shell-shock, ego, and having their heads up an elephant tookus.

The conservative-christian-501c-hypocrites were so duped, that they are in total denial. And this denial manifests itself as even more hypocrisy.

Conservatives should leave BOTH parties, and form a conservative party devoid of any ideology besides conservatism.

      • American Citizen

The silence is deafening? Where have you been? We have the Tea Parties, the Libertarians, the Constitution Party all out there informing us.

        • Claire

I’m not quite convinced about the tea parties. However, the Libertarians and the Constitution party I can handle.

          • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

            Claire,
The TEA party I attended was organized by Constitutionalists and Libertarians, and probably a few repub. conservatives thrown in there too. Nationwide, I think they are pretty much the same. I sure didn’t see any liberal socialists there crying for more government interference, and wanting to pay more taxes!
What don’t you like about that?

          • Claire

Stephaan–I think I am concerned about the Rinos taking over. Some of the speakers at their events I did not care for. I really believe the tea parties should remain totally neutral-this way they may draw an even bigger attendance because a lot of Americans are fed up with the Dems and the Repubs. I know the tea parties we have had here in my town are put on by the Repubs/Rinos and I won’t go. The Rinos here in town are staking claim to the tea parties. If true blue Conservatives become more involved, then I don’t have a problem.

          • L, USA

            Clair,

We Republicans (I speak for myself and others) began the grassroots move to elect President G.W.Bush in 1998. To many of we who could see the world as it is, the perils were as imminent then as now.

The work was not over in 2000 either, and that was a close one. The enemy works against us and we take ground and give some on the front lines but carry on in the battles as a unit.

          • L, USA

            make that ’04 (second term)

          • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

            Claire;
There may have been some rinos and blue dogs in attendance at mine,(and maybe even some liberals investigating) but the organizers and speakers were Constitutionalists, Libertarians, and pretty much ultra conservatives. Of course they can “say” whatever they like and you never know if anybody is lying, but none of them were running for public office so I assume they were genuine.

          • Claire

Well, I do not care for the Repubs or the Democrats here in Illinois. I voted for Brady (Repub) for governor in the primaries. Out of the entire lot of them I figure he will be as good as we can get here. If he gets elected I sure hope he doesn’t end up in prison!! Just trying to be funny. You know Illinois has a reputation for governors ending up in prison. And psycho Blago is still running around loose.

        • Peggy

Its a good start, but it is nowhere near enough. Right now it is a melting-pot of ideologies, when there should be only one shared idea… conservatism.

          Considering ideology…

If the Creator endowed us with free-will, how can anyone but a hypocrite deny others of their liberty of free-will? What do we care if gays get married? The state shouldnt have the authority to “grant” or “deny” any type of marriage, period.

Abortion is another sticky issue, with freewill at its core. Late-term abortions should be outlawed for every reason besides the mothers health, which is rare. Rape is not a valid excuse for late-term abortions, for obvious reasons. Why would you wait, or delay to terminate a pregnancy if you had been raped?

If a healthy, un-raped mother does decide to choose what I beleive is murder for the sake of convenience, then who am I to interfere? Its her body, its her soul, its her choice.

Just don’t expect me to pitch-in, in any single way. And you certainly cant just outlaw the procedure for doctors. The looney-left coat-hanger analogy is a little graphic but its true.

What is sad, is that BOTH parties have used us for years. They have managed to divide us (the people) with these stupid ideologue’s, and in doing so, have completely and utterly conquered us.

They keep telling the lie that a third party will never work, and we keep believing it. They keep us at odds with one another to the point, that we have started hating approximately one half of our fellow countrymen. Both sides.

A conservative party should be a party of unification, and not one of division. Conservatism should be the ONLY litmus test.

          • L, USA

And so they supposed in the Ancient city of Sodom!!!

  • Senior Cesar

Gov. Schwarzennegger from California is right. Republicans are hypocrites and always will be. They pretend doing what is beneficial to America, but they never deliver but miseries. They only take in the benefits and then deny it. The stimulus money is one of many examples. He is also right in supporting reform of the republicans before this country is left with only one political party. He is right in supporting the distribution of wealth more evenly among the American population. I do not see anything wrong with Mr. Schwarzenegger’s sense of fairness and reasonableness for all. He seems to comprehend that the republicans repopulate the public by starving to death the population. And the many young Americans send to death in Iraq is one of the evidences.
The liberal and socialist label is not for sins committed but for “justice for all” accomplishments.
    Gov. Schwarzernegger is right!

    • JeffH

Senior “Senor” says; He is right in supporting the distribution of wealth more evenly among the American population.

    • American Citizen

You’ve just described the Democrat party and what it stands for.

  • Peggy

Arnie’s just greasing the wheels of the up-and-coming, great California bail-out train. Its just as Mary Howland says, “another specter”.

But what he said is none-the-less true. After all, it takes one, to know one. And while we are on the subject of hypocrisy…….

Get ready ‘Richard earmark Shelby’, hypocrite fake-ass conservative…..you will be replaced with a either a true conservative, or a better liar. We are broke. Doesn’t it makes sense to stop shoveling money into the great NASA money-pit?

And what jobs will be created for Alabamians?

    A big fat -0-.

People will be brought in from everywhere around the globe, except Alabama…..to fill these ‘union’ jobs.

  • Mark

Schwarzamexcan has his head so far up pelosi’s crack that he can’t see the sunshine. Drink some koolaid Nancy, Arnie needs some refreshment. Sorry pathetic excuses for not only politicians but for humans as well.

    • Dave C.

Is there room for one more Mark?
I see Phil is getting kind of parched. He is starting to stutter a bit, and is in dire need of some more koolaid.

Michigan and California have the same problem….idiot govenors whose time is up….the both suck up to the FEDS and now both states are broke….the problem is not democrat or republican…its liberals…

    • Claire

Illinois is in a heck of a mess too. So don’t feel alone. I blame it on all politicians.

      • Claire

Plus the fact we have numerous ex-governors in prison and one running around like a psycho.

  • JeffH

Schwarzenegger began his term with tremendous political capital. Like Nixon going to China, Schwarzenegger as a pro-business Republican could have confronted and revised Proposition 13 to put California on stable financial footing.

A social liberal, however, Schwarzenegger was afraid of deserting conservatives on the tax issue. And his decision to eliminate the “car tax,” which previously raised $3.6 billion per year, makes the governor personally responsible for $18 billion of the current $24 billion deficit. His first year focus on “waste, fraud and abuse” turned out to be rhetoric without substance. He hired an expert from Florida Gov. Jeb Bush who found little and quickly left Sacramento. An easy answer to the budget problem did not exist.

    • Herb Pexa

I gather you guys do not like Arnold but to make him responsible for the mess not only California, but the USA is in is a bit streching it. Your problems need to be solved in Jew York and your idiotik Federal reserve. Wall Street is stealing from you every day and your Gold left for Isreal a long time ago. (no audit of your reserves since Eisenhower) To blame Californias financial troubles on poor Arni is a simpletons answer to the boy’s who gave you Fanny May, Lehman Brothers and the cheeting Glodman Sachs. Try to figure some of the problems out befor you blame Arni, he is a good boy, simple but good. And Yes he does pay more taxes then a lot of you sore heads. Greetings from Kanadian Herb. No offence… I love you guy’s

      • JeffH

Herbie…Arnie isn’t fully blamed, he just never had the mental capacity to change anything. All bark and no bite. Californian’s were taken in by his celebrity(surprise}. Arnie is spinless though and he couldn’t fix a faucet!

      • RJ Benefield

No one even suggested that Arnie was responsible for all of Californias problems, let alone all the problems of our nation. But I suspect you already knew that. You, the true idiot, just need a flimzy springboard to spew your bigoted, infantile phrase: Jew York! You are so clever. Tell me something, Oh Wiser Than Us All, are you telling me that the Jews caused all of the economic chaos? That all other races and nations are above reproach? There is not one greedy corrupt non-jew among the whole infested political crop, just Jews? You suggesting that people are Scapegoating poor Arnie, while you sit and scapegoat a whole race of people. Our problems in this world are not made up of one person or one group. To blame every thing on the poor Jew make you a simplton. A simpleton who has no clue what poor, good guy Arnie paid in taxes!

      • Peggy

Put you’re white hood back on, you freaking bigot. WTF, blame you’re pathetic existence on Jews.

I hope that karma kicks you in the keester, or at the very least, someone catches you getting a drink of water, and slams the lid down on your freaking head…..hard

While you wait for you’re “crazy-check”, you probably should go ahead and stay ON the meds, and ignore what you’re dog is telling you.

  • Claire

Yeah, Arnie and his cronies spent themselves into oblivion and now they are trying to blame it on everyone else. These politicians have never heard of “tightening the belt.” Suck it in, and get to work and quit wasting money. However, I think it is a little too late. They have dug a big hole that they will never get out of. If they thought they had a big breadline before, just wait. Arnie may have to help dish the food out. Arnie will be nagging the government to bail him out again. Bet he doesn’t get re-elected.

    • Joe H.

      Claire,
Just like Obummer, Arnie thinks you get out of a deep hole by digging deeper!!!

      • Claire

Joe H– Oh, I know! They can’t step back, take a deep breath and figure things out first. It is like Amtrak-get the heck out of the way, I’m coming through. They should pace themselves, one thing at a time. They are in too big of a hurry. It is a dirty shame because in order for anything to get straightened out (and I mean anything) they have to please all the Senators/Representatives by putting in their pork, the earmarks and favors so they will get the votes. It is no way to run a government but I guess they all do this. Look at all the earmarks, lobbyists, and crap that has been going on for years and still going on. I just don’t have the respect for any of them anymore. The hole is getting deeper.

  • James Corbin

Sonny M—- You are right!! Let’s not forget Schawarzenegger, is married to a Kennedy and she endorsed Obama.

Senior “Senor” says; He is right in supporting the distribution of wealth more evenly among the American population.
    Totaly anti-american statement…

JeffH, That is not anti-american.In America it means Jobs for all capable workers. You must be thinking of some abusive soviet policy, I am not.
I do not have any perception of soviet ways of treating their population. All that I can think of in America is going to work every five days of the week. THAT IS ALL. And that is right. Redistribution of wealth to me is the American way that says: “and justice for all.”

    • JeffH

Senior Cesar salad. Redistribution of wealth is justice for all?
You’re just plain nuts! You liberals are out of your friggin minds!
Justice for all? Ha! Not as long as I have a say in the matter.
You’re no more American than I am a liberal.

Schwarzenegger began his term with tremendous political capital

    Senior Cesar says:
All politician have to have capital now a days. Without it, you have to get lost. That is why there is such a chaotic mess in every state.

      Now you’ve lost me????

    Senior Cesario,
I hate to remind you but this is The United States of America, not the soviet states!!! could you possibly be from south America???

JoeH, Cesar says, I do not do reference to soviet states. I know soviet states are bad. Distribution of wealth to me is going to work every five days of the week. That is Jobs for all capable Americans. That is all. I do not support the kind of distribution that you think of with soviet abuses. To me what is right is “justice for all.” That is fairness for all. That’s all.
And by the way JoeH, I am posting with the name Senior Cesar. If you change that you are disrespecting and that is soviet’s ways. So do respect my posting name. That is more American! Thanks!

    • Joe H.

      cesario,
You didn’t answer my question. Are you possibly from south of the border???

      • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

        Si senior Joe,

We have many frends in amerika in white house and in congrass who are happie to give us these things. I will wave mexicoke flag on amerikan soil and protest, and even though I am illegal there is nothing you cen do about it becuase your constitution protects me.

True Lies, once the 787 billion dollar play dough was out of the bag and made payable by our grandchildrens grandkids, what choice is there but to use it. To do otherwise is like applying and receiving a loan from the bank and then renting a helicopter to dump the cash out the window. If we all are destined to pay for this mess, then we are all compelled to use it.

Ahnie has long ago lost all credibility, how can you trust anyone who sleeps with a Kennedy?

  • Kim

Wake up California!!! Use your term limits to vote your knowledge! Is Arnold Schwarzenegger really representing you? Is this who you want representing your voice in your state? Is he who you want to manage by being your voice to govern “her”… for you? You are truly paying out more then what you should in taxes. Just who or what party is Arnold pandering to this time? Which hand is he holding out now? Is it the give me hand of three year old… who is so self-indulgent to think the world owes me the mess I got myself into? Arnold, try the hand of self-accountability, self-determination by self-restraints. If this is what we are teaching our children….I wonder now, if we are really preparing our children for the realities of this world? Money foolishly spent…. is money spent away and not with the restraints to save to see your way out.

Just take a hard look at the state of California, Nevada, New Jersey and Florida. Then, take a look at the elected officials who ran them in the ground by playing with your money. Kinda like the hand in the cookie jar grabbing complex. To run these states in the ground with over expenditures and maxed out unfair taxes. The last time I turned around those states are represented by the leadership skills of Pelosi’s and Reed’s. Ego run states of “self indulgence” and not majority. They concern should not be ego gratification but serving the greater good of the public being you!!!

Gee, I wonder why they didn’t try the method of restraint instead of tax and spend. I guess that wouldn’t secure their pockets to hold job security. Try learning restraint Arnold rather then the hand held out. With restraints, you truly see the personal sacrifices to really merit what you should be accountable to necessarily spend out for.

Californians…hold, hold dear to the value of what makes your state specialized. Like being the state to grow healthy and natural produces of fruit and vegetables. Lift your water band on those generational farmers, who produced your state and our state food supply. Look at your wealthy movie industry to help you out. Lord knows they make a killing on one movie. Keep making your wonderful wine and create innovations of technology. Look at the great things that made your state great and get back there.

If not you can always go for the quick, fleeting pleasure with little nutritional value…just hold your hand out to grab another cookie please.

There have been many responses here to a RINO rant, and while there are many opinions expressed, the only way that you will have an impact in your future is next November. It is with that in mind that you must VOTE to preserve your liberty. Time is short, and the America we love is at peril from within and globally.Keep talking and sharing–GOD BLESS AMERICA.

    • JeffH

      Thanks and spot on.

  • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

Damn, I’m so proud of Arnie and California.
Since I live in Cali, and I lost my job to an unqualified illegal alien, I decided to take my dog (a chihuahua, pronounced cha wah wah) down to the local Cali welfare office and see if I could get him signed up for some public assistance.
At first the lady said, dogs are not eligible to draw welfare.
So I explained to her that my dog is an illegal alien, has no birth papers, no documentation, no social security card, etc & is definitely a Mexican breed of dog. He is also unemployed, lazy, can’t speak English (and has made NO attempt to learn it) sleeps all day, or watches tv when he’s awake, (he really likes “Sponge Bob Square Pants” & Latinos in America” and has no frigging clue who his daddy is.
So she looked in her policy book to see what it takes to qualify.
Guess what? My dog will be getting his first check in a few days, and also qualifies for free lifetime medical care, from now until he goes to dogie heaven. She also assured me that if my dog happens to father any additional pups, they will also be eligible for lifetime welfare and free medical care.
Damn, thanks to Arnie, I love living in California. :-)

    • JeffH

…you forgot one little detail…all the puppies will get citizenship with all the added benefiets of the illegal father.

    • Michael J.

      Stephaan,
Good job, makes me sick but good job anyway.

    • Joe H.

      Stephaan,
      you da man!!!!

  • Claire

Hey–I heard Jerry Brown threw his hat in the ring for the governor of California.

    • JeffH

Claire, Brown is a retread and just another lifelong politician. Check out Meg Whitman.

      • Claire

JeffH–I know. I remember when he was governor way back when. I have heard the name of Meg Whitman but know very little about her. I’ll look her up.

        • http://wwwNRA.com Stephaan

          Claire;
I think Jerry Browns father was Cali guv “way, way” back when. I think his name was Pat, and I also think Ronnie Reagan took him out of his guv.ship back in the ’60′s.

  • robert martin

This man is a democrate and he no where near to being a conservative. All his movies need to be boycotted.

  • John Weaver

California needs to continue doing what they have been doing with Barbara Boxer, Maxine Waters and nancy Pelosi . They have enough flakes to compete wilth Kellogg. Arnie may become CEO.
One more thing they all should leave the country to start this new company

  • C.J., CA

Schwarzenegger is an Austrian Socialist who has suckled from the U.S.A.. He is a RINO who has used the Republican party to run for Governor and he brags how Austrians are raised better than kids in the U.S.A..

He and his Democrat friends have further bankrupted California. He sponsered liberal propositions on the ballot even before he was Governor, like free baby sitting for teenagers after school hours.

He is irrevently referred to as “Blockhead” around here. A hammer and sickle should fly over Sacramento until he and his Democrat friends and appointees are kicked out.

  • Brigitte Card

To think I voted for this guy.
It is high time to replace him.
Seems to me he is the hypocrit.
one has to wonder what he stands for, if anything at all?
