Russian Columnist: Communism Has Won In America

Russian Columnist: Communism Has Won In America
UPI FILE

An opinion column in the Russian newspaper Pravada says that President Barack Obama was re-elected by an “illiterate society” who voted for him.

The author of the piece, Xavier Lerma, calls out American voters who turned a blind eye to Obama’s failure to end illegal wars, “lies of less taxes while he raises them” and scandals like Fast and Furious, writing that communism has won in America:

Putin in 2009 outlined his strategy for economic success. Alas, poor Obama did the opposite but nevertheless was re-elected. Bye, bye Miss American Pie. The Communists have won in America with Obama but failed miserably in Russia with Zyuganov who only received 17% of the vote. Vladimir Putin was re-elected as President keeping the NWO order out of Russia while America continues to repeat the Soviet mistake.

After Obama was elected in his first term as president the then Prime Minister of Russia, Vladimir Putin gave a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland in January of 2009. Ignored by the West as usual, Putin gave insightful and helpful advice to help the world economy and saying the world should avoid the Soviet mistake.

Recently, Obama has been re-elected for a 2nd term by an illiterate society and he is ready to continue his lies of less taxes while he raises them. He gives speeches of peace and love in the world while he promotes wars as he did in Egypt, Libya and Syria. He plans his next war is with Iran as he fires or demotes his generals who get in the way.

The piece draws comparison to the cult of personality of Joseph Stalin and Obama’s most ardent supporters. It warns that while Russia has been trudging a long, difficult road away from communist values, the United States is just beginning its journey of suffering.

ANYTIME RUSSIA KNOWS “WHAT’S UP” WITH US – WE MUST R-E-A-L-L-Y BE IN BAD SHAPE AND THE “BUTT END” OF JOKES. MOSCOW “HAS OUR NUMBER.”

“An opinion column in the Russian newspaper Pravada says that President Barack Obama was re-elected by an “illiterate society” who voted for him.”

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

      • http://Yahoo.com Bill

He was re-elected, not because we are an illiterate society, we are (not me) a society that watched to much “American Idol” “Dancing with the Stars” etc and voted the same way.

      • jhkjsdhkjhd

That’s actually not true either, just another lie from the left.

      • Kate8

Anyone who cannot see that America has become truly dumbed-down…and yes, ILLITERATE… either isn’t looking, or is, himself, illiterate.

One of the tactics of communists is to dumb-down the population, including perverting and destroying the language. Today we have not only phonics and ebonics, but the language has been restructured for an ignorant society. Words have roots and meanings, and when you restructure the language, these subtle meanings are lost.

I am continually saddened by the level of literacy (and knowledge in general) of succeeding generations. Dumbed-down people are more easily influenced and controlled. They are no longer in charge of their lives, and they don’t even realize it.

How bad is it when we have to go to outlets like Pravda to get news of America.

      • http://pweiters9.wordpress.com pweiters9

11/28/12, Actually, what would you expect from a populace that never learned how to safely cross the street? Ever see those drones walk out in front of traffic like they have tunnel vision & curse you out when you blow the horn? These are some of BO’s groupies. Slavery (prison) is cropping up w/a vengeance simply because there will be nowhere else for these zombies to go.

COMRADS…COMRADS..calm down,it is not that you are now russians, you are just now under the old beleifs of marxism!!hahahahahaha..silly americans..

Leave it to some one who lived under the oppressive rule of communism to recognize that the United States is going down that same self destructive, non sustainable form of society that progressives crave. The sit around their ivory towers preaching socialism from their books and theories with no practical experience. And when that experiment fails they shrink away saying ‘we meant well’ so do not hold it against us. Remember, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

  • ROGER, Irish-Canadian LIBERTARIAN

…and ther are actually some Americans, no maybe many Americans who believe that Romney would be better. Just goes to show how politically unaware North Americans are

    • Peter 10-nov-1775

Yes. The entertainment crazed Americans elected the American Idol of candidates. A supremely flawed candidate that the media advanced like a proud parent of their progeny. The halfrican was promoted on everything but ability and experience. It is not surprising that he won. If you kept getting presents from somebody why not keep the gravy train going.. More takers than makers. We are outnumbered by the perpetual victims who will suck at tye countries teat till the milk of the producers wealth dries up. And then?? There will be riots like in Europe wit the great unwashed crying out “Where’s mine, where’s mine!!

      • Tim L.

Gee Pete, if you think President Obama is so awful, you must have really been in pain when Bush was in office. As we both know, “W” wasn’t even qualified to stock shelves at Wal-Mart. So I guess we can agree that President Obama was the best choice in this election.

    • Vigilant

“…and ther [sic] are actually some Americans, no maybe many Americans who believe that Romney would be better. Just goes to show how politically unaware North Americans are.”

For one who styles himself a “Libertarian” but believes that Obama is the same or better than Romney would have been, he should more appropriately use the moniker “liberal.”

58 million Americans voted against Obama. That’s not a small number, nor did Obama receive a mandate.

Roger the nonresident alien once again takes potshots at the USA. If you want to diss us, become a citizen and get involved in the process.

      • Ted Crawford

He’s simply displaying the Myopathy of all Petulant Idealists! Perhaps they lack enough life experiences, in spite of some Higher Education, to understand that Absolutes rarely occur in Nature!

      • Vigilant

Ted, I didn’t believe in absolutes until I read several postings by Sarvis, Robert Smith and a few others. Out of a precautionary reluctance to bruise their delicate sensibilities, I won’t say what absolute _____s they are.

      • ROGER, Irish-Canadian LIBERTARIAN

Once again you and your compatriot “Right Wingers” are showing your ignorance-WHERE,O WHER do I say or even hint i prefer Obama??? I simply implied that Romney is no better. You still haven’t learned to read !!! so let me make it clear for your less than adequate mind-

I AM a Libertarian and there is only one person i would vote for-Ron Paul, other wise I wouldn’t vote

    • Bill

      Your comments are correct, Roger.
Most americans are very unaware of their ignorance. Thank our great educational system and mainstream media. The dumbing down of America is alive and well

      • http://Yahoo.com Bill

I really hate to comment on your spelling, but you spelled “Educational” wrong When paired with the word system, the correct spelling is “Indoctrination”

      • Bill

        Right on, Bill
        Great name you have

Dumbing down students? Right now Texas’ school textbooks are facing assault by people that rewrite history. Their latest tactic? Teach kids that our founding fathers were terrorists. I found it in this blog: http://godfatherpolitics.com/8273/boston-tea-party-was-act-of-terrorism-says-new-school-lesson-plan/

    • Hedgehog

Hey Roger, I’m A Canadian. In this country you’re either a Canadian or a Canadien, you choose. I wouldn’t call myself a Libertarian, I fall a few points short of 100% on the test. But, I consider government to be a “social disease”, easy to catch, very difficult to get rid of. I disagree with you on Obama versus Romney. There is no comparison. Romney is a Mormon, with all their attendant morals, scruples and ethics. Obama is a Psychopath, with no morals, no ethics, and no scruples. I try to make few judgments of what happens south of the border because I have no desire to become a US Citizen, especially now. I suspect I am already on a few “lists” down there, but I’m in good company.

      • Kate8

Hedgehog – LOL. I wholly agree with that.

BTW, we hear that Canada has led the way as far as what’s going on here. So, how is it better? You were first with “hate crimes” rubbish, control of religion, speech, etc.

I’m not being derogatory. It’s really gotten bad here. I just want to know how you are better there, because I don’t see the difference, other than you have a smaller population.

      • Kate8

Oh, and also, it’s now being revealed that, unknown to Americans, we’ve actually been under the jurisdiction of the Crown for over a century! (Admiralty law. And BAR stands for British Accreditation Registry.)

This is why our Constitution forbids the holding of public office by lawyers! Any person with foreign association cannot legally hold office, so nearly ALL of our federal government is ILLEGAL and UNLAWFUL.

      • http://www.facebook.com/dan.mancuso.56 Dan Mancuso

To Hedgehog, Kate8 and Roger, the Irish Canadian Libertarian:
Roger; I object to you using Canadian in your ‘handle’ because you strike me as a socialist and in my books socialism is still a dirty word, read communism! Thanks to Trudeau and his ilk, forcing the so-called Charter of Rights and Freedoms down our throats in 1982, which has destroyed our system of law, Christian based moral value structure and done more to destroy our inherent British Common Law rights than any other socialist agenda, like freedom of speech and freedom of assembly!
Hedgehog; I am a CanadIAN, abhor the expense and division bilingualism has had on my country, about equal to what our debt is (and don’t get me started on the hypocracy of Bill 101!) I agree with most of what you say here, but, I deny ANY label. I tend towards small ‘c’ conservativism, tend towards libertarian values, mostly, but unlike you I am very judgemental about what goes on in the Sates – being that we are SO affected by their economy and culture. I have considered moving there many times because of, amoung other things, gun laws in both countries – but definately not since the complete desrtuction of the American Constitution after 911!
I’m sure I’m on a few lists myself, both at home and down there. Do I care? Not really. I mean, I choose to think for myself and say what I think. I consider that a basic inherent right and if I hurt some ones ‘feelings’ in the process, I could care less, and the potential threats to my life and freedom is not motivation to shut up, shut down and live in slavery.
I also like America, what it stands for (stood for) and most Americans. Like Canada and all countries, politicians, bureaucrats and the system are the enemy to the people!
To Kate 8; You’re sort of right about Canada leading the way with the evils of socialism. In fact, Fabian Socialism has a method/agenda of ‘penetration and permeation’, and it has been extremely effective in all western countries. It is not that it is better here so much, in that it is not as bad as it has gotten there. We basically lost all our Constituional protections as well, like due process and habeus corpus etc. after 911 with the introduction of the Anti-Terrorism Act. (also see above re. Charter of Rights and Freedoms)
America, to many around the globe, has and still does, hold hope for us as freedom loving people. You are still – mostly – the shinning city on the hill. If people like myself castigate and critizie you, America, it’s because what ever befalls America befalls the rest of us. All of our hope lies with the true Americans taking back your country from the the criminals that have stolen it and the scum who have allowed it to happen. Please don’t let America fall!

      • SJJolly

MusingsbyMarian: The British merchants who’s tea was dumped in Boston harbor very likely considered the Founding Fathers who did the dumping, or organized it, as terrorists. The dumpers considered it more an act of civil disobedience. If terror had been the goal, it would have been more effective, and less work, to have set the ships on fire.

  • Patriot1776

The majority of Americans won’t even realize the disasterous consequences of their decision to put obama back in office for years, if they even figure it out then. It is a sad statement on American education, media and government when the Soviet Union can see more clearly than the American public.

In his biography, obama clearly stated his socialist beliefs as well as his Muslim beliefs and his racist, anti-white stand well before the first election.

It is also a very sad statement on the Republican party that they were unable to defeat obama.

    • Peter 10-nov-1775

The electorate that voted for the halrican is illiterate. Look at popular culture. What, read? Too busy texting, or voting for dancing with the morons, or American idiot etc.
Bread and circuses, keep them entertained and they won’t rebel.

    • Vigilant

“The majority of Americans won’t even realize the disasterous consequences of their decision to put obama back in office for years…”

Patriot, I don’t think we’ll have to wait very long. The end of life as we know it will occur not later than 2014, when the Federal Reserve’s house of cards comes falling down.

      • Ted Crawford

It could happen even faster than that Vigilant! Given the outcome of this election, we can be assured that the IMF will be working overtime to workout the details of those proposed ADR’s they have been working on!

      • Ted Crawford

This site doesn’t make it easy or even possible to edit! Should have read “SDR’s” not ADR’s

      • Toy

        How can you protest effectively?
You have two dire candidates; one at least bent on destroying America and your only other choice is not to vote?

  • http://www.musingsbymarian.com MusingsbyMarian

Nikita Krushchev promised us our grandchildren would live under Communism when he said, “We can’t expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism,
but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism,
until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism.” In 1903 Upton Sinclair set out to “fundamentally change” our educational system with “the gospel of St. Marx”. His torch was picked up by people like Saul Alinsky, Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, all of who figured out it is more important to take over our childrens’ minds than to bomb the pentagon, police stations, etc. My blog is musingsbymarian. followed bycom.

    • Ted Crawford

      Krushchev wasn’t even the first Leftist to give warning;
” Democracy is the road to Socialism” Karl Marx
” Democracy is beautiful in theory, in pratice it is fallacy” Benito Mussolini

      • Kate8

Ted – Yes, the communists even told us that they would use the democrat party to conquer America from within.

Now they own both of them.

This is not the first time the communists have nearly taken over. And it won’t be the first time they get thrown out, one way or another.

Our government may be lost, but We the People aren’t. Not by a long shot. (Well, many Americans are, indeed, lost, but it only takes a small number of determined and informed patriots to restore our Republic.)

We need to (ASAP) cease focusing on all that is wrong and start focusing on how we want to restore America. Then we need to git ‘er done!

      • cawmun cents

        sorry Ted…this is a reply to Kate8,who I admire.

You are wrong about a small group convincing the rest…cant be done…these simpletons dont know the first thing about being convinced. They follow what their handlers tell them to follow…straight up…I have been to the meetings, and the ones that are too lacksidaisical to be the leaders have their heads up others posteriors so far they couldnt tell a turd from a fart. These are people who arent just disillusioned, they are dsicombobulated to the point where they just nod their heads and say”that sounds goo to me!”
In my humble opine.only God can straighten out what has been made crooked. And He doesnt look like He is real concerned with America right now.Better to sit back with a beer and get front row seats to the show, because its going to be a doozie!
        Cheers!

  • Scott in SC

Like many from Russia, he’s 30 years behind the times. Sadly many Americans also believe this downward spiral just started 4 yeas ago.

    • Ted Crawford

True Scott! Arguably, it could be said that it began in 1860. It very definately took Steriods on March 4, 1913! I believe that was the real date our Republic died and we digressed into this fatal Democracy death spiral! Clearly November 6 2012 was the last gasp of that Democracy!
It seems that John Adams prediction has come true!
“Remember, Democracy never lasts long! It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself! There never was a Democracy yet that didn’t commit suicide”

  • samuel

Maybe republican party will consider nominating Sen. Ron Paul to lead the party in the coming next 2016 presidential election and pick Gov. Kristie N.J. as his vice president.

    • Ted Crawford

GEEEZ! What a combination! An Anarchist and a Progressive Republican! Considering that it no longer matters, it would surly be fun to watch that Clown Car attempt to manuever !

      • Cheerio

Anarchist?? The Constitution is not anarchist….

      • Ted Crawford

You are very correct Cheerio! However Dr. Pauls Foreign Affairs, and clearly his National Defense Policy, ARE !

      • eddie47d

Ron Paul is the only one with a sensible Foreign Policy/Defense plan.

Hey thar, thoze peoples ain’t illerate, they knows how to dial dat neu cell fone. Tha is da smart ones, gottem free, you all needs to bi ‘em. LOLO

  • Steve E

The one thing about Communism is that there are many people like me that will not comply with it, and as shown through all of history, they will have to kill us. Or we will have to kill them to keep them from killing us.

  • rendarsmith

We are in for some ROUGH times ahead. Americans used to be family-oriented (post great depression era) but have lost that. The Russians (after suffering the Soviet days and after its collapse) are now far more family-oriented than Americans and their society is improving while ours is collapsing. Coincidence?

  • Bill

Lerma’s comment are so on the money. As evidenced by the uneducated liberal comments on this site

  • dcjDavis

Creeping communism. Not happy about it. Gotta say, though, they’re plan worked.

  • Ethan

Call it Communism, Socialism, Statism, Fascism, or just plain old TYRANNY…its in your face America-!!! Your Constitution and your Bill of Rights have been totally or at least partially flushed down the memory hole of history. As soon as BO collapses the economy he will be around to collect your firearms [and then] stop even your ability to post your inane comments on sites like this one. Why is this happening-? Becasuse you failed to spit out your beer and snuff out your joints and have forgotten the fire of patriotism that once burned hot in your collective bellies-! Now its out of your hands-!! The “Cabal” thinks of you as “unnecessary eaters” and refers to you as “cockroaches” while they prepare to reduce your numbers to about a 1/2 billions souls worldwide. God help your sorry selves-!!!

    • Tim L.

Ethan, did you forget to take your meds this morning?

      • SJJolly

More likely, the dosage needs to be adjusted — upward.
But then, a lot of the postings on this forum could be used as subject material on paranoic beliefs in modern America.
Of curousity — why don’t those who think Obama is some kind of ultimate evil recognize that other posters have a wide range of views of what his plans are?

      • http://www.musingsbymarian.com MusingsbyMarian

There are none so blind as those who will not see and none so deaf as those who will not hear. Like the three monkeys of Fukushima, Obama followers cover their eyes, their ears, but not their mouths. They must ignore the most evident empirical evidence slapping them in the face in order to follow their leader over the cliff. Only thing is they will drag the rest of us with them.

This the story of the life and death of America. The Founders had just experienced life under a tyrannical government and used that experience to build our Constitution on. They even took the time to look at other governments down through the centuries, their rises and falls. What an oxymoron, Russia advising America on how to stay away from Communism. Russia’s fall was purely economic. America’s fall will be economic and by wars.

  • Dee

The man in Russia sure was right when he said obummer was elected by a bunch of idiots.

The problem is were fighting all of the Democratic party and about half of the Republican party. The RINO’s, “progressives and the “Neocon’s” Have all abandoned basic Republican (constitutional) principles long ago. Somehow we have to clean the traitors from our own house before we can mount an effective campaign to win back the country.

  • jws8888

Illiterate? You bet and that is just the start of it! The US ranks 34th in the world for math skills, similarly for English. At least half of your high school graduates need remedial English and Math, if they attempt college.

The average American is clueless about what it means to have political freedom (liberty). According to Benjamin Franklin, “Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.” Americans have allowed Bush and Obama to destroy one-by-one, protections of your Constitution and its Amendments.

Nazi Germany grew from the fear of a populace, who were offered protection and then exploited by some of the worst men in history. American is being taken over by some of the greediest men in history – your politicians and the parasites in business who use government power to protect themselves because they lack the courage to compete.

The salvation of the American people will be finding their roots. Followed by severely clipping the wings of government and discovering the courage to solve problems themselves. I would love to see it happen.

The world has been ruled by evil despots and tyrants since the beginning of recorded history, and probably long before that. America was the first experiment in representitive government by the masses of illiterate people. I am surprised that it has lasted this long. The America I grew up in has become a S— Hole. Vast groups of greedy zombies came together to reelect their Americn Idol. He is an empty suit but the unwashed masses and pseudo intellectuals, which includes the media, desparately wanted him to rule them. We are now living in the Kim Kardashian era. I predict he will run for a third and fourth term. Within five years we will be living in a country just as oppressive as the former Soviet Union. I am and old man but I will take great pleasure in knowing that the dumsters who voted him will be the ones to suffer the most. In the Soviet Union you couldn’t just sit on your rear and collect free money. They made the people work. Welcome to the new worker’ paradise.
