It scares the daylights out of me that a dictator was elected President of the United States. We are loosing freedoms right and left and being taxed beyond belief.

Is it legal for the President to fire any employee of any U.S. company? Has he the right to interfere with our health care? He has spent more money in less time than any President before him, and it’s our money and our children’s money.

His cabinet is mostly losers. Geitner a cheat, Napalatona couldn’t control the Arizona border, nor did she want to and the list goes on. I would like a new Supreme Court Justice to follow the Constitution and the heck with empathy. Justice has nothing to do with empathy, it has to do with right or wrong.

I would like every state to fight for state’s rights and give the power back to the people.
Didn’t our founders believe in limited government?

We have lost control and I would like to see the people get it back.

We need more people who think like this

      • aganadagnu

Surely John, there’s more to thinking than parroting a few who seem to speake with “conviction”.
Government is only limited by its necessity; for now we need it to right the lapsed oversights of past years.
AND, don’t use the Constitution in vain it is religulous to talk about amendments being sacrasent. By definition an amendment is made to suit a situation in a particular timeframe and should always be open to further and appropriate review and further amendment; even for the most insecure conservative temperament.

Said like a true communist wantabe. I bet you also think your ideals are original.

I’ve listened to Rush Limbaugh for many years. I was a fan of his for awhile although I did not agree with everything he said. Lately, however, he has become a hate monger and quite frankly a liar who has lost track of reality. His hatred for Obama is unprecedented. To wish failure on the US just to satisfy his pig headed ego is the act of a traitor. I saw him cheer like five year old when the olympic choice went to Rio. Hannity is a money hungry pig who lives in Reagan land and wins “debates” with his lopsided rules.
By the way, what freedoms have YOU lost since Obama has been president?
Over 75% of the people in this country, even conservatives, believe our healthcare system is in need of change. As far as the auto companies, they came begging the government, in case you forgot.
If you fear government control, take a good hard look at the Bush and Cheney dictatorship.

        Norm, Norm, Norm.

You are still caught up in the REPUBLICANS BAD, DEMOCRATS GOOD paradigm which serves all of us only poorly. The fact is that the so-called LEADERSHIP on both sides of this debate want one thing, and that is the American public whipped into subservience, taxed into poverty, and warring with each other over what amounts to trivial details while the power mongers wrap chains around all of us.

Yes, we know that Bush2, Clinton, Bush1 were all TOOLS of the globalists. At least you could have the maturity to admit that. Put away the BUSH-CHENEY stick, it doesn’t work on us anymore. Now as to the issues at hand, which as I see it are:

Anthropogenic Global Climate Change is the biggest FRAUD ever to be perpetrated by corrupted “scientists” on the world public and if we get sucked into this Copenhagen treaty we are going to regret it sorely. I repeat, Manmade global climate alteration is a CROCK and this is PROVEN to anyone that has any capability to look at the world honestly. OBAMA and his band of CHICAGO HOODLUMS and his buds at the Chicago Climate Exchange look to make billions on this scam, while globalists everywhere (elitist marxists every single one) look to this scam to secure a one world government. OBAMA, who has no love for the United States is willing to go along with the scam because it secures HIS power base to do so. So as you defame Hannity and Limbaugh and any other conservative, be careful which brush you tar with, as the splatter will land on your own sacred O.

Hannity wins debates based on RULES and LOGIC. That seems to be the conservative way. Liberals, on the other hand, seem, as you did in your post, to jump immediately to the nanny-nany-boo-boo phase, calling names, and impuning impropriety where there is none. I too, cheered when Obama came back empty handed from Copenhagen. Chicago, one of the most corrupt political cities in the United States, would not have been able to pull it off without massive FEDERAL bailout money, which would largely have gone to friends of O. The debacle would have been a bigger embarassment than O bowing before every tinhorn potentate on the planet. Sounds so much like the Clinton years, only meaner.

Rep. Joe Wilson was so very right. YOU LIE! he shouted. And more than ever, O lies. His people all lie. In the face of a PROVEN HOAX our President, who is supposed to REPRESENT the American citizenry, goes to Copenhagen to kowtow to the globalist hoaxers.

This is a shameful grab for power and money. Period. This man who said that science would no longer be ignored is ignoring some of the most important scientific FACTS on the planet today.

I agree with you that there is not much difference between republicans and democrats but there is a lot of difference between Obama and G.W. Bush. I lived through 14 presidencies and Obama may be the smartest of them all. Offering developing countries billions of taxpayer dollars to get them on board for climate change is a smart move – comparable to the Marshall Plan after WWII. We have the technology, manpower and food available to get Africans away from slash and burn crop burning, for example. If they use those billions to buy food and technology from us, our economy will recover despite competition from Chinese cheap labor. Of course, we will have to prevent corruption by doling out the money on condition that it is spent wisely and spent on US products.

Ten percent of Americans own 80% of America and keep getting richer by loaning money to the 90%. Conservatives seem to like this arrangement but if it keeps up we will have social unrest in this country like in the early 1930′s. That will lead to socialism. If they want to prevent this, conservatives should support some Government intervention now to improve the lot of the common man.

Mark Twain, paraphrasing a popular homily of the time, once noted “God must have hated the common man, because He made him so common”.

  • Fred H.

There is one fact which comes back again and again “Socialism does not work, has never worked and will never work”. I worked for comunists, I grew up in a socialist country, I left for america thanks god but now I see the same lies banded around that the only good for the common man comes from Socialism what a crock. Teach your kids to be selfreliant, teach them morals and integrity and all is well. The idea to spend yourself out of debth is insane. How many prudent men do you know who apply that to their personal live????

  • Matt

When will the GP(general public)catch on to the “head-games” of the “hot potato” game that is being played on the American people and it’s voters.
The problems we have are because both Republican and Democrats could gave a damn about America! Hasn’t become obvious enough by now they both parties are putting themselves first before the country? All they care about is to keep playing this game going so the status quot will continue and we’ll reelect the same bunch responsible for all the ills of America.
