Ron Paul on “Repeal 1913!”

December 4, 2009 by

Ron Paul on “Repeal 1913!”

As promised, here is part two of our exclusive interview with Rep. Ron Paul, the maverick Republican/Libertarian from Texas who created such a stir in last year’s primaries. Here is last week’s column, Ron Paul on “End the Fed” (The Campaign and the Book) in case you missed it.

The main thrust of our discussion was the status of legislation Ron has introduced in every session of Congress for the past dozen years or so. He wants to see an audit of the Federal Reserve. When that happens (and he is convinced it will some day), so much damaging information will be revealed that it will make it far more likely that the second part of his campaign—to abolish the Federal Reserve System—will become a reality.

Ron says the Fed itself is helping his cause, both by their unbelievable largesse and also by their incredible secrecy. He told me that the Fed has issued more than $2 trillion worth of loans and loan guarantees in the past year and won’t even tell Congress where the money has gone!

“If Congress can pass $700 billion of bailout funds and not know where the money is going,” Ron said, “what about all the trillions of dollars in loans and guarantees the Fed has issued since the crisis hit? Not only did the Federal Reserve help cause the (economic) problems, they are perpetuating them. But we have absolutely no idea how much the Fed has spent or promised to spend. That’s why an audit is so important.”

Ron says the latest survey shows that three out of four Americans—some 75 percent—support his demands for an audit of the Fed. So it’s no surprise that a majority in Congress has seen which way the wind is blowing and has signed up as sponsors of his bill.

But getting a majority to support it doesn’t mean it will pass. The congressman said he expects House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to do everything in her power to prevent the bill from ever coming up for a vote.

“Won’t this make people even angrier?” I asked him.

“The people are already angry,” he replied. “And rightfully so. I think it’s healthy that they are directing their anger toward Washington. That’s beneficial.” But then he issued an important warning: “If it gets out of hand, if violence erupts, that would be a dangerous thing. Our civil liberties are not all that well protected any more, thanks to the Patriot Act and other incursions on our liberties. The important thing is to make sure we direct that anger in such a way that there will be positive change.”

An audit of the Federal Reserve is a good start. But what we really need to achieve, the congressman told me, is to undo two great mistakes this country made nearly 100 years ago.

“We need to Repeal 1913!”
Then the congressman said something that I hope becomes a powerful new slogan for all of us working to restore Constitutional liberties. “What we really need to do,” he said, “is repeal 1913. That way we could get rid of the income tax and the Federal Reserve at the same time.”

Most Americans are probably not aware of what a disastrous year 1913 was for our historic freedoms. The very same year that saw the Federal Reserve System foisted on a gullible Senate by lies and deception also saw the enactment of the first graduated income tax in our nation’s history.

I don’t have the space today to go into detail on either of these nefarious schemes and how a group of elitists in New York and Washington conspired to bring them about. Suffice it to say that our would-be tyrants delivered a one-two punch that year from which freedom has never recovered.

I could tell Ron was getting as excited about the idea as I was. “You know, if you repeal Big Government, you get rid of government intrusion in our lives.” I could tell he was getting more and more enthusiastic. “You stop the hemorrhaging of the dollar. You repeal inflationary conditions. You restore a sound currency, which would go a long way to restoring a sound economy.”

My next question was obvious: How are we going to do this?

“The most important thing is to become as knowledgeable as possible,” he replied. “Education is the key to victory.”

The congressman is adamant that we need to understand why we are in favor of free markets, sound money, and personal liberty. “We must be able to answer the liberal do-gooders who claim they have the moral high ground, that they are the only ones who care about the poor.”

The next step, he insists, is to do something with the knowledge you have gained. And don’t feel that everyone has to do the same thing.

“What you do will be different from what I do. Some people write. Some get involved in politics. Others join and promote various organizations,” he said.

The important thing, Ron says, is to take a stand. “I think everyone should invest some time and money in the preservation of liberty.”

Speaking of organizations doing something, I should mention the one that grew out of Ron’s own run in the Republican primaries last year, his Campaign for Liberty. “I serve as honorary chairman,” he explained. “I don’t run it on a day-to-day basis; I wouldn’t have the time.”

Ron’s Campaign for Liberty is a 501(c) 4 organization. That means it can take sides on legislation and lobby for changes in Washington. It can urge passage of specific bills, such as Ron’s demands to audit the Fed. And it can oppose others. To learn more about it, go to www.campaignforliberty.com.

My final question to Ron concerned his own political future. I told him that I had twice had the pleasure of voting for him for President—in the Republican primary in Florida last year and on the Libertarian Party ticket two decades earlier. So I asked him, “When will I have the pleasure of voting for you again?”

He laughed and replied, “No one knows whether it will ever happen again, including me. I have no current plans. But I’ve never taken the position that I will absolutely never run again. Some very good things came out of our last campaign and much of the momentum we built up last year is continuing.

“I’m actually getting more optimistic about what’s happening in our country. To be honest, I can’t say that a lot of good things are coming out of Washington. But there is no question in my mind that the American people are waking up; they’re demanding that spending be brought under control; they want to get government off their backs.

“I can’t tell you what will happen in the next couple of years. All I can do is to urge you and your readers to continue to spread the word. Tell the truth. And hope that we wake up enough people to make government our servant once again, and not our master.”

I couldn’t think of a better way to end our interview, so I simply said, “Thank you, Congressman. We appreciate everything you are doing.”

Until next time, keep some powder dry.

And for an explanation of why I chose this as my sign-off phrase, see Chip Shots at the bottom of today’s Personal Liberty Alerts.

Ron Paul is, of course, right. However, other issues must be included in forcing the Fed to submit to an audit. First, nancy pelosi has proved time and again that she is not fit to hold office. If she is not a part of the Fed scam, she might as well be. She can’t be allowed to prevent any inquiries or efforts to eliminate the Fed.
What happened in 1913 is not to be found in most history books. That is when congress surrendered to a private corporation, and America took a huge step toward slavery. The names of those in congress who let this happen should be held up to public ridicule forever.
The fact that the Fed has found ways to avoid an audit proves that Congress works for the Fed. The Fed does not work for Congress or the American people. The Fed is inherently an unconstitutional
concept. Is it not strange that no leaders could find reasons to challenge the Fed’s existence? Is it not more than strange that the Supreme Court was never a part of eliminating the Fed?
Over the years, the Fed’s main ‘accomplishment’ has been to weaken the dollar, and it serves as the primary engine behind keeping inflationary forces alive in the economy. The idea that a president should have a part in appointing someone to run the Fed would have caused an overnight rebellion among the Founding Fathers.
Regardless of how destructive the Fed has been since 1913, members of Congress will line up to defend it. That alone should be more than sufficient to help people understand what is so wrong with the Fed and those who defend it. In effect, the Fed is a domestic enemy. How can anyone call himself a patriot when such a clear and present danger exists and has existed for so many years?
Nancy Pelosi is not the only “public servant” who has willingly earned the coast-to-coast wrath of an oppressed and enraged America.

    • Judy S.

Those who support the Feds regardless of their failure to answer the pillage of our treasury are traitors.

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Nancy Pelosi is as dirty as dirt can be. Maybe she should be investigated also, as it most likely will show the Fed throwing bucks her way to stop this investigation. She is unfit to be a public servant, and should be kicked out immediately. She is a disgrace to the American people, a disgrace to politics and a disgrace to the Democratic Party, and that my friend is hard to do.

    • American Citizen

So, Nancy Pelosi is blocking the audit. What does she have to hide? That’s the question that immediately came to my mind.

    • Samuel

Inflation is a myth perpetuated by the fed. The real injustice they perpetrate is by continually increasing debt levels and thereby debasing the currency. We will eventually owe so much we will never be able to pay it back because the debt will be greater than the circulation of money. The way they charge interest is exactly how the Bible says to take control of a country (Deut. 23:19-20). Interest (usury) is the feds form of thievery to steal all the wealth of this great country. The fed is made up of foreigners and not brothers and should be driven out of this country before the take-over is complete. Abolish the fed and their collection agency the irs. If you really want to understand the Federal Reserve, read “The Creature From Jekyll Island” by G. Edward Griffin. Great book. Google it.

      • S. H.

I am reading that book even as we speak…a real eye opener…I challenge everyone to read this book and get educated about the things that are happening to this great land…we are losing our freedoms little by little. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!!

        • Carrie

Losing our freedoms has been creeping up on us quietly and little by little for years, but now all of a sudden, it is on a roller coaster ride that keeps getting faster and faster.
Question…Is it possible to go back on the gold standard? Where would we get the gold to do that? These are serious questions. I really want to know. If ‘We the people’ managed to take control of our freedoms, can we accompolish this?
It’s going to take time and money to change things but…with the economy in the tank, the money is not there. At least not for us on a fixed income (fixed means there’s no wiggle room).

    • Chris

s.c. You are right on target with those remarks. The American people however do seem to be waking up albeit slowly. As Ron Pauls’ remark about hoping violence does not erupt due to the weakening of our civil liberties by the patriot act, this to may bear pressure on those in congress. Violence is a last resort solution just as it was for our founding fathers. While I would not rule out the possibility, even Jefferson remarked that “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” So our founding fathers knew that all governments eventually become corrupted by the people elected to serve. Let’s hope the forthcoming elections provide for a revival of the spitit in which this country was founded, or be prepared for one the likes we should not want to see.

  • chris robins

I agree with Mr. Paul…The Fed is a joke and must be done away
with. At least we must be able to audit the Fed..Also please
do not vote to give the Chairman another 4 years.

    • David

Gee Chris – what “Chairman” gets 4 years?
Senators serve for 6, congressmen for 2. Only the President has a 4 year term and only signs of rejects legislation, and that can be overcome by a 2/3 vote of congress. The only 4 year guy is the President Pro-Tem of the Senate, the Vice President of the United States.
      To whom do you refer??

      • RefreshTheTree

He refers to the chairman of the Federal Reserve system who serves a four year term. He is appointed by the president, then approved by Congress.

      • RefreshTheTree

But I am sure you are way smarter than this chris robins guy as you comment seems to try to show.

  • David Forde

It would be a good step in the right direction. As it is Social Security will be broke by 2010 not that their telling you that either.Government has become out right dishonest. It hides facts and figures sometimes in plain sight. Why/ because they think your dumb!Sadly for them there are plenty of people who can unscramble their false accounting practices.

  • Judy S.

Congress is part of the problem. Only those who agree with their goal to destroy our economy with unending wars and robbery are allowed political office today. The Super Delegates control “change”. They are unelected and therefore don’t represent the people. Before there is change (like an audit of the reserve) we have to get rid of the party elite. It is unconstitutional since the are not elected but “selected”.

    • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

Delegates, who control “change,” are only allowed to do so according to the party platform. Believe me, both parties are out to destroy the republic, knowingly or not. Also, please remember that organized crime which is totally into the New World Order concept, is connected with the democratic party. Ever hear of the coming “New World Order?” Well brace yourself. That’s what this global warming lie is all about, as well as the trilateral plan to collapse the world’s economy.

      • DaveH

You’re right Victor. We need to also get out of the freedom-robbing United Nations.

        • http://donthaveone Beberoni

I agree Dave. Its like were that fish you see in the water, and the United Nations is that lamprey thing attached to the side of it, sucking the life out of it daily. They need to be sent out of this country, and our money pulled from supporting them. They are just a bunch of terrorists running around free in our country, doing damning things to us, and somehow having us pay for it. We need to part ways with them, and deport them all out of our country and not allow them back.

          • denniso

Once again…just more paranoia and clueless spouting of nonsense!!Quite amazing how foolish you people sound, ranting about things you know essentially nothing about! I’ve wondered before, now again, are you all locked up somewhere, hopefully securely???

          • DaveH

            More dribble from the Donkey.

        • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

Dave, One of the most shocking things that has surprised me in my life is when I, as a teenager (I’m going on 62 now), walked into the UN and saw, not a dove, as I had imagined, but a gigantic white horse greeting me! That was scary in my mind and I have never become less petrified by this image of the beast! Vic

      • Skipfoss

I agree totally Victor the fed needs to go and those who support it both parties have covered for the fed since it’s inseption, I very seldom agree with Ron because of some of his off the cuff statments and ideas. But we do need to get Pelosi ,Reid and Ho Chi Kerry out and to reverse all of their legislation. The next step is to get Ovomit and his Muslim Communist czars out. Stop all of these appologies and kick the Useless Nations out of the US and cut out the billions that we give them every year to under cut us and give supplies to the Jihadist

        • DaveH

Do you know for a fact that Ron’s statements are wrong? We have been propagandized for most of our school years about the necessity of Big Government. It’s understandable that we are afraid of the unknown (Limited Government). Ron is one of the few that consistently votes against Big Government. We need more like him.

        • golding4

I do believe that J F Kennedy was going from Dallas TX to return to Washington to start the dismantling of the Fed. and of course, we all know how he failed to return to Washington. You are dealing with dengareous men in high places. Ron Paul has the right ideas and he is the real type of leadership we need, when I speak of (we) I am thinking of the nation that is waking up, It seems this nation as been asleep like Rip Van Winkle for a hundred years of letting the government take care of us….This administration that is in power now is so drunk on power that they would do anything to keep power, I would be on the watch, for anything that they will try too do to end the voting rights, You know that the Bilderberg Bunch own Obama the Piper and the following rats in government. and that the agenda is aimed at anything that would add too the NEW WORLD GOVERNMENT and they have a time line about nine years away. The main reason for all this money spending is payback and to lower the value of the dollar, for the reason of lowering your living standard to equal Mexico and Canada so that you will tuck nicely into the new government. It’s a good thing for this country to be waking up…My only question is…Is it too late.

          • denniso

What can one say in response to such paranoia and flaky ‘thinking’??
The fed killed Kenedy?? You are so far off base, but if Kenedy were alive today you people would be trashing him as well as Obama.

          • J C

Kennedy spoke of the evil which pervades America. (The Fed) and that he would make sure that every American was aware of it…and Bang! He was dead. Shot by a lone gunman (3 shots?) from a book repository leased by Prescott Bush, the launderer of money for the Nazi’s. Wilson prayed on his death bed for forgiveness from God for what he had done to the American people (The Fed). The farther you research “facts” the dirtier it gets.

  • Richard H

I agree that the Fed should be abolished. (it never should have been formed in the first place) Is there a petition site anywhere that people can register to force this issue? Thanks in advance.

  • http://afathersson@netzero.net Homer Sims

As I see it get rid of Pelosi, Reid the Federal reserve and the man who is a foreigner and take back this country for Gods people! I am sick of being sold into slavery, and it’s time to elect Ron Paul as president!!! Impeach and replace!!!

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Along with Reid and Pelosi, how about Dodd, Daschle, Biden, Obama, Rangel, Feinstein, Frank, Edwards, Kerry, Dean, Boxer and all the rest of these lying liberal scumbags that dont care about the United States of America.

      • American Citizen

        You forgot Snowe and Collins.

      • denniso

Beb…so all the scumbags are dems?? Figures!!

        • Ed

Beberoni, you forgot to add Denniso to your freak list! All they have is that we are not intellectually their equal, and they contiue to go about making up BS that only exists in their sick liberal agenda minds!

        • DaveH

No doubt there are many scumbags that aren’t Democrat. However, that doesn’t make the scumbags any less scumbag.

        • jim

All the Dems are scumbags. All s
          the scumbags aren’t Dems

      • Claire

Along with Cheney, Ensign, Sanford, Boehner, Wilson, Rove, Gingrich, Lieberman, McCain, Palin, Mitch McConnell, Steele, and more. And don’t forget the radical media-Beck, Limbaugh, and Hannity. Opps, I forgot the vampires Coulter and Malkin.
While you’re at it, get rid of ALL of them. None are any better than the other. And the Crystal guy (not the General) he is knows nothing. Everyone thinks they know it all. Well, look who we voted for, past and present. Did we do a good job voting then and now?

        • Claire

Another thing regarding ALL media—if these people think they know it all and are so darn smart, why in heck haven’t they come up with solutions to our problems? Why aren’t they President? I’ll tell you why, they aren’t as smart as they think they are. All they have is their mouths. And ALL of them keep flapping with no results. All they do is nit pick on everybody and try to instill all the hate and dysfunction they possible can come up with to make Americans fight amongst themselves. None of them are honest, upstanding Americans. Can you imagine any of them running our country? It would be a disaster. So as far as I am concerned, when they pick on the Dems they better consider the Repubs too.

          • Claire

Also, Ron Paul is BETTER than a Republican, I will consider him a Libertarian.

          • Claire

I am to the point where I do not want to watch the news on TV nor listen to the radio.
I’ll get my info from the Internet, I guess.

          • DaveH

            Claire,
If the Politicians weren’t micromanaging every aspect of our lives, they wouldn’t need to be so pure.

          • jim

Hi Claire, You may not trust the TV or radio media, but to count on the computer for your info is just as much of a crap shoot. You’re reading this and I can write any ol thing. As for your list of scumbags I trust them more than any of the Bam unists. Rahm Emanual, Eric Holder, Hilly and all the other graduates from the Fidel Castro& Hugo Chavez School of Government.

      • Claire

Now you can add Baucus. The list keeps getting bigger.

    • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

Homer, It’s all about the “Illuminati” and the “New World Order” under Lucifer (i.e., another, coming in his own name, he you will believe)! Read “Fossilized Customs” by Lew White if you really want to know what is going on in America! It’s even worse than my being greeted in the UN, as a teenager, by a gigantic white horse standing there, as I went in the door, not a dove!

  • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

I love Ron Paul, but I’m afraid that he is wrong. There has been a take-over of our government by the Marxist, mainly reinforced by the (anti)-intellectual movement started in college in the 60′s. That movement appeals to the intellectuals, especially women, who more verbally intellectual then men. I would not even be surprised to see no election in 2010 because of another lie passed on the the public before the 2010 election! (Do you know that Jim Carter had to be a Mason in 1972 before becoming president?) Otherwise, all this Marxist stuff would be reversed in 2010, which I do not see happening. Remember this: I am prediction an environment in 2011 worse than the great depression of 1929! Don’t forget, “Another will come in his own name, and he you will believe”. Try Lucifer!

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Sorry Victor, but I wont believe him. You see, I and many others will recognize him when he comes. He wont fool me. And dont you worry, God is in control, not the left, not the right, not you or I. Be assured, its all ok my friend.

      • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

You are right and you are wrong! This anti-messiah will even deceive the elect if that were possible. PS: I hope the you are from the universal mother church (Catholic (universal)in the Vatican) because it was they in 1520 (Petrus Galatinus) to give the high deity of Greece honor, when he invented the name “Jesus” to honor “Zeus”! I do believe that contradicts the 10 commandments! Don’t be deceived by the big lie!

PS: The bible is about the Hebrew high deity and everyone spoke Hebrew before babel and Yahweh speaks in Hebrew (Zephanyah 3:9; Acts 26:14). There is no “J” in Hebrew. Try using: It was Yahshua came in the name of Yahweh! Not the Babylon deity Gawd (GOD) and Zeus! Please check!!!

        • http://www.truth1.org Scott Ervin

Interesting conversation. As I read it in Gen. 10, Hebrew was a language after the pre-flood original was “confused” or mixed up, diversified. Heber was only one of may from Shem’s line.

As for the anti-Christ/Messiah, most will get fooled because they are expecting a physical visible fleshly return of the Christ and someone is going to give them just what they want, so they think. Jesus will return but no one will see him coming in the clouds.

People will fall for the “other worldly” technology and twisted interpretations of prophecy. But those who know their God will not be fooled. They know an imposter is due to show up fairly soon. I would say by 2012, which will no doubt be used as one of those lying signs and wonders. Would I like to you? ;-)

      • DaveH

What if you guys are wrong, and there is no God? Does that mean we throw out the Ten Commandments and disrespect each other? I hope not. I advocate freedom for all. We need to get along or we are never going to progress to freedom.

  • Geo

I would like to see this happen, I believe it was the intent to of our Fore fathers to have each branch of government be a balance and a CHECK to other parts of government to keep things like what is happening FROM happening. We ignore the simplicity of the constitution and label it as progressive thinking…

Go Ron Paul!… I do not agree with everything you stand for, but I would go for this…

    John

WND dedicated an issue of wistleblower magazine to the FED and it is an outstanding read. Back order it and pass it around to help inform people. http://superstore.wnd.com/store/item.asp?ITEM_ID=1889

    • jim burbine

The privatly owned banks have no constitutional right to print money and then charge the US government interest on the money they borrow from these banking thieves. We have (congress)the constitutional right to COIN our own money interest-free, thus no getting into debt and becoming slaves to these greedy scum-bags.END THIS SYSTEM NOW, BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!!!

      • DaveH

        Jim,
I don’t think it is as simple as that. If, for instance, the current government took over the money printing what do you think would be the outcome? As well as abolishing the Fed, we need to insist on sound money backed by precious metals or other hard commodities.

      • denniso

Private banks do not print money. They lend money and have to keep a small percentage in reserves. The fed dictates fiscal policy and the treasury prints the money.

  • Alvin Roy,Langley Sr. Senior Pastor Retired.

I do agree with Congressman Ron Paul on “Repeal the 1913 mistake.END THE FED,if Congress does not back Ron Paul and the American people lets replace Congress and the Senate and put back in office what our fore fathers did for All Americans.Wake up America Now. I LOVE MY FREEDOM,DO YOU.If so then back Ron Paul 100% I am sure Glen Beck does.God Bless America,Why don’t you.

  • Del Street

I am a Reagan Conservative, not a Republican and not a Libertarian. Many of the ideas of the Libertarians are really good and very appealing, but I separate quickly with their ideas when it comes to foreign policy. They tend toward isolationism, which in today’s world is a huge mistake. I am also in agreement with the concept of an audit of the Federal Reserve System. To have a “private” company with so much power over our financial and economic lives and no oversight is an apocalyptic idea that we will pay a very dear price for someday.

    • DaveH

      Del,
They believe that the US should not be the world’s policemen. That is all. They are not isolationists as that would be an oxymoron in lieu of their staunch stand for individual freedom. Please read their party platform:
      http://libertarianparty.org/platform

      • DaveH
      • http://donthaveone Beberoni

What stance does he have Dave, on these enemies who would build up in an attempt to attack us? Would he believe in mobilizing and striking back? I sure hope so. We dont need a Barack type who thinks he can sit down and B.S. the enemy into playing nice. I would rather fly over them and drop a big one, than sit back and do nothing and let them get big and strong like Hitler and let them take over the world, why we sit here saying “well they arent hurting us”, because if they get that big and powerful, and we dont play the policeman, they will come and hurt us, if we dont keep them in check. How do you feel about this? I would like to know, as I find you to be a pretty intelligent guy.

        • DaveH

          Beberoni,
My personal belief is that we should arm our country to the teeth. And let other countries fend for themselves, other than supplying them with arms.
I think for every citizen of ours that an attacking country kills, we should kill 3 of theirs. So, for instance, with 9/11 after identifying the source of the attack, we should have gone into Afghanistan and killed 6,000 of them. And then get the hell out, no Nation Building. It would have been a lot less costly then Bush’s course of action in lives as well as money. I’m betting that after a few attacks, they would learn to leave us alone.

          • Claire

DaveH–I agree with you on this. We should have gone in, dropped a few “big ones” to let them know we mean business instead of fooling around. But no, we’re supposed to be “civilized.” Instead we dragged this war on and on. We looked weak back then and we look weak now. Our soldiers sure as heck deserve better than this. Their hands are tied too, they have to do what they are told. I believe in an eye for an eye. This is exactly what the Bible says.

          • Claire

Another thing that makes me sick. Our “Allies” send in about 80 troops, some send 500 or less,, it is a joke. But yet, if they get into trouble they want all of our soldiers to be there to help them. These “Allies” apparently are not interested in sending enough manpower to help us. I say, pull out, arm America to the teeth and just let anyone TRY to attack us. They would sure as heck be in for a rude awakening.

          • AnhydrousBob

Another idea I’ve toyed with is to discover the village (or locality) of any terrorist who attacks up. Drop leaflets saying in 24 hours we will destroy this town because “whatshisname, your native son, attacked us” Those who believe can escape with their lives, those who dont will pay. It wont take long for the effect to be felt. We will be dealing an eye for an eye.

Should work for the Somoli pirates as well. Soon, they will avoid the ships with a US flag.

          • DaveH

            Bob,
No doubt that would be effective. But I’ve always had a problem with punishing innocents so as to make them control the perpetrators in their midst. Kind of like when a teacher punishes the whole class because the trouble maker won’t come forward. Goodness needs to be rewarded not punished.
I realize that to a certain extent my previous comment is similar. It’s a thorny issue to be sure.

          • eyeswideopen

Dave, attack a country who did not have one terrorist in the group of 17? The citizens of that country didn’t know that the Bin Laden Group was going to attack the US. Not one of them were from Afghanistan. You would kill innocent people, most who didn’t even know that Bin Laden was in their country? It’s not like they have TV and cell phones and knew exactly what he was doing or where he was going to strike. You are assuming that they function like a high tech country and were in the thick of the plot. This was a country who is extremely poor who had just finished being invaded by Russia and spend most of their time just trying to survive day to day. How can you hold an entire nation responsible for the actions of terrorists who were hiding in their country, obviously not letting most know what they were doing? Radical reaction on your part, to just start killing everyone.

      • Jim Dudley

I understand that we should not be the world’s police force. Question is: “If not us, who?” Granted, our government has in the past, made commitments that were clearly wrong. Intervention in Central America to protect American plantation owners, using CIA to oust a duly elected president (he was supposedly a communist) and others. Government intervention in these cases were clearly wrong. However, when it is obvious that a govenment or group of extermists is bent on destroying our way of life, someone needs to step in.

        • denniso

Jim…The U.N. was formed to help ‘police the world’. The right wing has worked to marginalize and demonize it and de-fund it so it struggles to be effective…despite that the U.N. has done some good around the world and,no, they haven’t taken over our country. One of the great capitalists of the 20th century contributed a billion $$ to keep it operating when repubs refused to pay our dues, I wonder why he did that? Did he want to enslave the U.S. or did he think it is important to the ‘progress’ of the world?

        • DaveH

          Jim,
If the citizens of the countries under attack don’t care enough about themselves to fight off the attackers, why should we?

          And Denniso,
As far as being the World’s protector, the UN is a joke.

          • Jim Dudley

You want others countries to protect us from our would-be attackers?
Now that’s a real confidence booster. The U.N. can’t even police itself, let alone the rest of the world. In the technilogical age we now live in, it is totally naive to believe we can just “mind our own business” and remain safe and secure.

          • s c

DaveH, on a good day, the UN is a bad joke. Those who love the UN refuse to admit that America’s
introduction to its unique brand of insanity was in Korea. Korea can be defined as ‘a war in which you can fight, get maimed, die or disappear, but you can’t win.’ Vietnam was an extension of that self-destroying, “big picture” insanity.
The UN is worse now than it was in Korea. Now, it is a world-wide collection of America-haters, perverts, anarchists, criminals and paranoids of every ilk. The UN should be in an ‘enlightened’ country – like Iran, Syria, Venezuela or Cuba.
Believing in Santa Claus makes sense (almost). Believing in Peter Pan or Mary Poppins makes sense – if you’re a suck-up for a politician. Believing in the UN makes a strong case for the idea that some people need to take drugs 24/7. That way, they could be said to have a basic interest in their mental health.
The UN will NEVER ‘get better.’ It’s a disease
that was never ‘treated.’ It has been allowed to spread and infect people around the world. Let the UN rely on sources like George Soros – and his current crop of freedom-haters in Washington.

“I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is Libertarianism” — Ronald Reagan. I very much see Ron Paul as the next Barry Goldwater, who of course, paved the way for Ronald Reagan.

Also, Ron Paul is not an isolationist, he is a non-interventionist. Two completely different terms.

      • DaveH

        Thank you J.

      • AnhydrousBob

        Exactly J,
So were our founding fathers. You’ve heard all the quotes of the time about non-entanglment with Europe, not going abroad to fight monsters, trade with all – alliances with none. What has it all gotten us? We should consider carefully how well non-intervention worked for so many years.

    • J C

Del, don’t confuse isolationism with non-intervention. They are very different things. Libertarians are not advocation isolationism. We welcome the idea of free trade….”real” free trade with all friendly nations. We just don’t think we’re supposed to mess with their governments or their politics.

  • Wanda

We need to get rid of the Feds, Nancy Polosi, Harry Reid the congress and the senate. We also need to work hard at getting an audit of the federal reserves.IF Nancy Polisi comes up with some lie to where they say we can’t do this, then we need to come up with some truth that says we can. The american people are really sick of the lies and the democrats just don’t get it. Their also tired of the dirty work going on behind closed doors.

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Pelosi is taking money from any and all, and seeks to protect them. You can count on that.

      • denniso

I really wish you and wanda and others here would try harder to come up w/ real and constructive criticism about our political system, rather than just spouting your continual noise-sense and ranting about ‘taking our country back’ and ‘Obama is a communist’ and ‘Pelosi is unfit’;by the way, she is the first ever female speaker of the house..even extremist rightwing nut women should applaud that fact as ‘progress’, even if you don’t like her politics.
I said this weeks ago…the looney righties lost the election. They held total power for 6 yrs and most power for all of Shrub’s 8 yrs. You and they screwed up almost everything and started 2 big wars that you didn’t finish or even fund well enough. NOW,shut up and get the hell out of the way and let the smart people clean up the filthy mess you and Bush/Cheny left behind, like a spoiled brat whose torn up the house!

        • DaveH

          Denniso,
You are like a spoiled little child just seeking attention. You rarely offer any comments that aren’t riddled with name-calling, ridicule, and arrogance. Grow up.

          • denniso

DaveH…you’re using some of my terms. Cut it out!!

          • usmadgirl

            DaveH,

If we would all ignore Denniso, maybe he’d go away! If nobody responds to him, wouldn’t it be like he doesn’t exist?!

          • DaveH

            Madgirl,
I don’t think so. He/she would probably become even needier of attention if we ignored him/her.

          • J C

Come on guys….Denniso is beautiful. What a perfect sounding board to get out Libertarian /conservative ideas. And Denniso must enjoy the abuse too, most Liberals do or they wouldn’t go about subjecting themselves to ridicule for spouting baseless emotional garbage.

        • jim

          denniso,
The senate was Dem for 4 out of the 8 years Bush was in office (thanks Judas Jeffers). So, you believe Obama’s not a socialist and Pelosi is someone to be proud of? Just what color is the sky on yuor planet? To count on Moebama, Larry reid and Nacy Curlylosi to clean up the so called Bush-Cheney mess is like trusting Col. Sanders to babysit your chickens.

          • denniso

Jim…’baby chickens’??That’s perfect, since the guys(shrub/cheny)you want to run from now but supported for 8 yrs w/o a ‘peep’, are by every measure, chicken-hawks! In other words, total cowards who never served or barely did,fit only to send other peoples’ children off to die in the deserts of the middle east. Did you ever scream about that?? No? didn’t think so…

          • eyeswideopen

Jim, you are wrong. Republicans held power in both houses from 1995 till 2007. You need to do some research.

        • jim

hi Denniso, Jim Here again. Yes I supported and stilldo support the brave mem and women who went to the desert to fight the terrorists that threaten this country. they are soldiers, not just kids that some meany sent to the desert to die for no reason. they even protect little ingrates like you. I just wish they still had a Comander& chief, not the community organizer& thief.

          • Jana

Jim I agree with you. At least Bush knew what to do. He trusted his Generals.
Obama is a scared little community organizer that can’t make a decision.

          • denniso

Jana…didn’t your president just decide to send 30,000 more soldiers off to war?? What do you want? 500,000 like we had in viet nam and still couldn’t ‘win’??

          • denniso

Jim…supporting our soldier kids in battle is obvious. Do you actually still support the invasion of Iraq w/ all the waste of blood and $$, even though we now know w/ total certainty that Saddam had nothing to do w/ 9/11 and had no WMD??? If you do, then you’re utterly hopeless and a warmonger!!

          • Jana

            denniso,

I wanted him to make a decision. Either bring the soldiers home or give them some help over there. But, whoever heard of the brilliant maneuver of telling our enemy when we are going to stop?
Every move this poor man makes shows his inept ability to do the job he was voted in to do.

          • eyeswideopen

Jana, were you sleeping when they decided to do the surge in Iraq? It was on every news station we have. We also broadcast our departure agreement with Iraq. You still awake???

        • jim

Hi from the hopless warmonger, if that is what having respect and gratitude for the people who risk there lives every day to prtect us is.I thought this was an article about the Fed. Not a rehashing of the same old argument about Bush and Chehey and the Iraq war. But when you can’t despute the other persons logic, a liberal just changes the subject and tries to misdiect the topic.Since your boy is such a dismal failure you have to go bake to someone not there any more, just man up and figure out that the hope and change thing isn’t working.

      • Jana

Wanda, you are so right. The problem is some of these people are so powerful it is hard to break that hold that they have.

  • http://RonPaulLiberty Mr. B.L. Schaaf

I am retired on “Social security”; but was in “Banking for 13 years”; Went up the Ladder twice; Small community Bank & Detroit Family Bank; Most people are not aware that “The Federal Reserve Bank is the Bankers Bank”—They will sell money to the Federal Reserve—which leaves less to loan or they will buy “fed Funds”; So the Federal Reserve controls “Credit available by offering —the Banks in there District more interest or less interest on any money they put in “Fed Funds”—of coruse you & I arn’t suppose to use float on our accounts; but I believe it is a common practice among the Banks- in “Federal Reserve District Bankers”; Your kidding there is “No accountability/no annual audit of “Fed Funds”??? Wow!!! Yes, I understand “China” has a big share of our debt & getting “interest from the US—There is enough wealth in this country to buy a (American Debt Bond” so the interest stays in the US—why should “billions” being going over sea’s & if these countries decide to go “National” all the “Money invested by US countries”—well all these countries have to say is see you—we are going to have “State Run everything—bye you all”; There was this (35 year old Mother; who at a “Townhall meeting”/last election said, “This Country “USA” is being piece mealed out—STOP IT; I whole heartedly agree—”China could foreclose on “Hawaii or/an Alaska” any day. BS

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

China wouldnt demand money, and Ill tell you why. If say we were forced by them to pay back all this stuff in a hurry, their money would more than double in value. All the sudden, all this cheap stuff from China that we buy in the United States, would cost too much, as it would more than double, and we would buy elsewhere, thus collapsing their economy, and they arent going to do that.

    • Jana

Mr. B.L., may I quote you on this?

  • David A. Celaschi

I totally agree with all comments made. Before we allow them to have any more access to more dollars, they should have to account for the dollars they all ready recieved. Why has’nt any one asked where those dollars are. I think those dollars are all ready socked away in some place other than this country, and when the bottom drops completely out all the rats will desert the ship and begone even before we know of it!I also wonder where our back up plan is for protecting this country from those now in charge, they should all ready have been taken down for blatant disregard of our constitution. And for any one comming over here and forclosing on our country, better stay the hell off my block, and that includes everybody!!!!!!!

    • denniso

I wonder why all the hatred and rage is now directed toward the Fed, which tried to save us from a real depression, and the gov’t, and not toward the giant banks and financial firms that almost singlehandedly got us into this mess?? Oh, I see…the gov’t(now under dem control) and the Fed are evil and the giant corps are mostly the heart of the repub party and the epitome of capitalism. Silly me!

      • DaveH

Silly you? I don’t think so. More like “uneducated you”. I will post this link knowing full well that you won’t read it, because you don’t really want to learn. You just want to harass good people who are trying to have a decent conversation.
        http://mises.org/story/3572

        • denniso

You joke again…most of the ‘decent conversation’ here is about armed revolution, guns,Obama as socialist/traitor,liberals are communists, scum….DaveH,if you and your wacko buddies actually discussed instead of malign, blame, harangue and whine about how you’ve ‘lost your country’,there maybe could be intelligent discussion. You’re either blind(sorry to the actual blind)or totally out to lunch. All you guys want to do is demonize an elected gov’t,elected for the 1st time in 8 yrs w/o any election controversey..elected w/ a real majority!

          • DaveH

            Denniso,
Where do you get such unfounded arrogance?

For the rest of the readers,
This is the kind of person who wants to micromanage your choices through Big Government.

      • DaveH

        Denniso,
I have seen no comments from you that indicate you have even the slightest comprehension of money matters. Yet, you ridicule the comments of others as if you do. Pretty brazen.

        • denniso

DavwH…I ridicule the comments of others? Do you read any of these? Most don’t need my help w/ ridicule, they just ARE ridicule. How can a person w/ any intellect at all not laugh out loud at some of these absurd comments about Obama being a communist or a muslim or that he is creating a one world gov’t or you’re going to ‘take back your country’ and on and on?? I can’t imagine even you not laughing at this crap.

          • DaveH

I laugh only at your ignorance Denniso. Obama has surrounded himself with Socialists. Is that just coincidental? Unlikely. You are either very naive or you are feeding at the government trough and don’t care about morality.

          • coal miner

            denniso,

I agree with you as stated in another post. These people with their barnyard philosophy keep calling Obama a Muslim is Laughable.Obama has kept on stating that he is not a Muslim,he is a Christian. These cow jockies still don’t get it,they got their heads in the manure pile and accusing him being a communist. It is pathetic and ignorant. Islam is a religion and communisn is a atheistic philosophy.

          • Jana

            Coal miner,
It is sure funny that even though he claims to be a Christian, that he quotes the Qu’ran, and he says things like the Islamic call to prayer is the most beautiful sound he has heard, and that in his own book he stated that if it came down to choosing between the Christians and the Muslims he would choose the Muslims.
He seems to speak out of both sides of his mouth.

          • DaveH

Yes, and Obama also said that the Health Care Bill was going to be deficit neutral. Who knows what the truth is from this man?

Obama is a, “NOW GET THIS,” a Muslim, a racist, not an American, and is also a jerk, just like you two are. All you talk about is how much you LOVE Obama. Got me wandering about you two. Are you two male and just happen to hit it lucky, and got married when it was legal?

          • eyeswideopen

Dave. since you claim all Dems are socialists, who was Obama supposed to surround himself with, Repubs? He did keep Chairman of Fed, and Sec Gates who are Repubs, but come on, who did you think he would have as staff, the radical right wingers???lol…..LMAO

  • Neil Sasinowski

In regards to Social Security running out of money in 2010. Does anyone know the true dollars collected plus interest earned from day one on starting this tax? Is the government even paying interest on these funds? Of course the working stiff paying into this fund have been lied to by the government claiming this is an insurance policy and in reality it is just another tax for the general fund for our elite representives to spend on what ever they want. I gather there is not a seperate fund for Socical Security. When are our representatives going to wake up? When they are kicked out of office and are replaced with honest people.

    • DaveH

      Neil,
Social Security is a Ponzi-scheme that works on a hand-to-mouth basis. When government claims a surplus for Social Security, they mean that it took in more revenues that year than it paid out. It is wholly dependant on the wages of future workers to pay for the payments to recipients.
      http://www.socialsecurity.org/daily/05-11-99.html

      • Jana

Dave, What about all of the money that has been borrowed from the Social Security Funds and put into the General Fund?

      • denniso

DaveH…You say social security is a ponzi scheme. It has been ‘working’ fairly well for how many yrs now?? 70? It has kept millions of older people out of destitution. Pretty good ‘ponzi scheme’. So it needs fixing every 20 or so yrs..so what. So does everything else.

    • MIKE

You are correct, there is no separate account for Social Security or Medicare. Most people are duped into believing that they have a locked box for these taxes(and that’s what they are-taxes), but it all goes into the same pot as your income tax.

      • s c

Mike, in the matter of Soc Sec, it’s even worse than most know. The Supreme Court has ruled that the American people have NO REASON to expect that Soc Sec ‘donations’ will be available when Americans become eligible to receive payment(s). What does that tell you about Soc Sec, government ‘ethics’ and the true condition of leadership in America?
In Las Vegas, they’ll tell you that those who expect anything good to come from a government program [Soc Sec, Medicare, Medicaid, a stimulus plan, obamacare, government meddling in contracts, government take-over of corporations, etc.] are the ones who keep casino doors open. The house (government) tends to win because THEY make the rules. Public service, oaths of office and LEADERSHIP are mere words. What generations of Washington losers have done is to prove that the Founding Fathers were in a league of their own. What we’ve had in Washington since before you and I were born is a long line of traitors who deserve whatever punishment they get. Let the turnabout and comeuppance begin.

      • http://Yahoo Dee D

Mike: Soc. Security is an entity in itself. It’s just there are not enough big or strong enough locks on it to protect it. Every administration keeps adding groups to draw from it who contribute nothing to the program. Then when the coffers grow, each administration dips into the surplus and uses it for everything but its intended purpose.
No civil servants contribute as they have their own programs in place.
At one time a civil servant could (on retirement from their public job) work a few quarters in the public domain and become eligible to draw benefits from the program, but during Regan’s tenure he put the stop to that.
At one time all career service personnel could benefit. If you doubt me, check into McCain’s SS income and why it is so large.

        • American Citizen

Social Security would not be in trouble if Congress would quit using it to pay for their pork barrel schemes. Congress owes billions and billions to Social Security. The same with Medicare. We seniors get no SS raise next year, yet our insurance premiums went up. The only one that didn’t was Part B. If we didn’t have investments and savings to supplement our SS we would have to cut out the small pleasures we have. We don’t live lavishly, own a small 2 bedroom home, one 13 year old car, and have health problems. We need to turn Congress over and make sure we elect people who will truly have the best interests of this country at heart.

          • Claire

American Citizen–You are so right on this. I know several couples that are on Medicare & Social Security. If they did not have this source of income, they would be destitute. If our government had left it alone like they should have, everything would have been fine. But no, they have to stick their hands into everything. I was at Walgreens a couple of weeks ago to pick up medicine for my husband, and there was an elderly couple waiting for the prescriptions to be filled. When they got their meds it cost them over $400.00. They were visibly upset. The lady said what are we going to do and her husband said they had to have the medicine, and they would work things out later. I could have wept. I felt so bad for them. This is why I firmly believe Social Security should have been left alone and they should not cut back on Medicare. If our stupid government had done things correctly and legally none of this crap would have happened. It sickens me to no end. A lot of older couples spent their money on their kids-sending them to college and helping them get a start in life. This whole system of ours sucks.

          • Claire

Sure, we need to replace Congress for people that truly have our interests at heart. But, who in the heck are they? I cannot think of one politician that TRULY cares for the American people and our country. Look at each individual politician and study them carefully. Listen carefully to what they have to say. Do you really believe any of them? I don’t. To me, the only interests they have is to further their own gain and the gain of their so-called party. Throughout this past summer, I really felt that some of them that were raising hell were doing it for their own 15 minutes of fame. They didn’t give a crap about us. We have to be realistic and call it like it is. I am sorry that I cannot have respect for these so-called do-gooders. They tell us what we want to hear. I am disgusted that I can no longer trust any of them. I am angry that we are in this Godawful mess. And I am angry that they fleeced the hell out of America. I am angry they screwed us over.

          • Jana

Claire, maybe some of us ‘little people’ ought to start running.

Lobby for and gather signatures making it mandatory that all of our employees in Washington live according to the same set of rules they mandate for their constituents. Have each and every citizen pay into Soc. Sec. period. If this could be accomplished I’d be willing to bet the scum bags representing us would knuckle down and see to it everything would be corrected – STAT.

          • Jana

DeeD, I would love to see that happen. I think there was a petition to sign that a Senator from La. had out or maybe it was Ron Paul, I just don’t remember. I signed it, does anyone know about this?
I do know that it has to be a real petition, not just something sent around in an email for people to add their names to. That type of petition doesn’t hold water.

    • willie pete

      Neil,

The S.S. is supposed to be in a separate account earning interest. The problem being that our ‘great’ elected officials have been raiding this fund for decades to fund a lot of their pet projects. And of course have (not to my knowledge) ever paid any of it back, so therefore the fund is running out of money as the so called baby boomers retire.
      willie pete

      • Claire

Yes, you are exactly right. They have been raiding SS for years and never paid it back. Thank you for telling it like it is.

  • Leland Sasser

What Washington lacks is common sense. If your in a boat on the lake and spring a leak you first fix the leak and then bail the water. If the hole is smaller then the bucket you can bail until you run out of energy. If it’s larger, you soon sink. Our ship of state has no bottom. How long can we treed water? LS

    • denniso

LS…cute, but incorrect analogy. If the leak is under water, which it must be,and the water is coming in rapidly enough to sink the boat, you sure as hell better bail out the water so you can get to the leak to fix it..ever tried to patch a leak under water??

To Share a Powerful and Wise Poem.:
    Courage, Brother, do not stumble, though your path be dark as night;
There’s a star to guide the humble, Trust in God and do the right.

    Let the road be rough and dreary, and it’s end far out of sight;
Foot it bravely, strong or weary; Trust in God and do the right.

    Perish policy and cunning, perish all that fears the light;
    Whether losing, whether winning,
Trust in God and do the right.

    Trust no party, sect or faction, trust no leaders in the fight;
But in every word and action, trust in God and do the right.

Simple rule and safest guiding, inward peace and inward might,
Star upon our path abiding; trust in God and do the right.

    Some will hate you, some will love you;
    some will flatter, some will slight;
Cease from man, and look above you,
Trust in God and do the right.

If you mean Big Government and not WE the People, then I agree. Having control over our own lives MEANS that there is “a government OF the people, BY the people and FOR the people”. And it can be big as hell, as long as all the money goes to the citizens FIRST and then ‘bubble up’ to the banks as repositories of OUR WEALTH. All forms of usury should be outlawed. NO MORE of this “APR financing…” or other such shinnanigans….! We print the money (or digitize it, or whatever is done these daze….), we distribute it in a yearly stipend every January 15th, we flat tax the difference between stipend and money earned above the stipend level ( example : $55,000.00 for a family of four). This will lead to price controls ( a good thing, as I am an arch progressive and NOT a conservative like you guys), and it would REQUIRE that we do,in fact,
abolish the FED, AND denote it as a ‘Jubilee’–and we can conduct
such a jubilee every seven or fourteen years, if need be. It has been the adoption of usury practices that has led to the ‘rule’ that
deficits had to be perpetuated and strictly accounted for and paid for. We should begin by asking China to forgive our debt to them IN EXCHANGE for their components and technology in building our smart grid. We have run out of time to try and do any other thing.

      Brian,
I don’t doubt that, but I do doubt that the sheep in this country would ever band together to throw out the Income Tax. I am hopeful though.

    • MIKE

There is an income tax law, an excise tax on any federal privilege. If you receive money, provide a service to or are employed by the federal government…you are liable for an income tax. IE- you are an “employee” working for an “employer” making “wages”!

All of those words in “..” are terms of art. They do not mean what the common word means, they are specific limited definitions in the IRS code. Why do you think it takes 3 million plus words to make up the IRS code? To confuse and obfuscate the truth. You are not liable for an income tax unless you accept a federal privilege, provide a service to or are in the employ of the Federal Government.

If it were Constitutional to tax every American on there right to earn a living then the code could simply say “If you live and work in the United States of America, you owe us this much”. Also notice that the IRS code has a specific definition for United States….(note it does not make mention of America or the 50 union states party to the constitution)…..

3121 (e) State, United States, and citizen- For purposes of this chapter— (1) State The term “State” includes the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa. (2) United States The term “United States” when used in a geographical sense includes the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa.

…..Do you live and work in any of the above federal territories? Or one of the 50 Union States party to the Constitution?

Making a living by your labor is a God given right and Congress has no Constitutional authority to tax private citizens not involved in a “Trade or Business” or federal privilege.

    • http://Yahoo Dee D

Brian: I have to plead ignorance (typical citizen). I do recall a few of my co-workers and I talking about this issue a few years back. Then it was removed from the news and all forgot. I was listening, however not close enough to really get involved.
From what I remember – I did make the comment “if enough would stick together – they could not lock us all up”.
It’s a little late for us now (on this issue per se) with so many unemployed. Not much money is being collected by the IRS.
Our manufacturers are leaving (have left) our country for the cheap sweat shop labor and being rewarded by our elite representatives in Washington (for leaving) while we citizens are aiding and abetting by purchasing the garbage our retailers put on their shelves.
I always have and continue to boycott all imports.
Another entity consumers should be leery of is the Wall-Mart. They are out to close every retailer here in America and run them out of business. I don’t think very many consumers really see the threat China is to our nation. Wall-Mart sells more goods from China than any other country.
The goods started killing our pets, then children, then adults and then the babies with contaminated formula. Some in China have been prosecuted over the milk formula.
But the consumers continue to trade with Wall-Mart.
People use the term of sheeple to define some ignorance, I would like to broaden that with zombie’s. We are too slow learning what is good for us.

Another stimulus plan is what you all need, Ron Paul need s to get rid of the Illuminati, they the Free Mason’s run all banks Author Larry Burkett wrote a book called The Illuminati, where “The Society” seeks world power. You can find all this on YouTube and can find all this stuff in the Wilipedia Encyclopedic then maybe you will have your say. The internet is so full of information.

    • http://Yahoo Dee D

Robert: Obama’s stimulus package only helped the same ones who got us in this mess in the first place.
He allotted millions to the banking and loan industry. They still hold the mortgages and receive payments on the majority of the loans, raking in the high interest fees.
I felt it would have been more beneficial to the citizens to give them low interest federal loans. They could have payed off their mortgages saving thousands of dollars in interest while lowering their monthly payment in general. Property owners would pay back to the government the money they already paid in the first place.
Of course, not allowing the banking industry to make their big bucks above and beyond their original investment was not realistic.
I see ads saying Obama encourages all to re-finance their mortgages for the lower interest rates. Bottom line, when the equity in the property is less than the value in today’s market, who will allow you to re-finance?

Want to know how the FED steals money? Her is how. Say Congress comes up short of money that they want to spend. They go to the FED and request it from them. The FED says yes but you have to give colateral.
That colateral comes in the form of treasure bills or some other sort of Federal IOU instruments. Does the Fed go in their pocket to get the money-of course not. Lets say the amount of money is 100 million. The FED WHO IS THE OFFICIAL KEEPER OF THE BOOKS (through the 9 Federal reserve banks around the Country that act as a clearing house for all checks) sayng how much money one has in their account, and they credit US account with 100 million. Why? because the FED says they have that much money in their account. Now its there to spend. The FED (a private owned corporation) owned by a small group (there are 8 owners of stock in the Federal Reserve. THEY JUST STOLE 100 MILLION (it could have been just as easy if it were 100 billion)with the swish of a pen and an accounting entry. Now they can sell these instruments in the marketplace and use that money for any one of their devious nefarious activities and lifestyle. They shun the limelight and are never listed in any list of the most wealthy.
Want to learn more about how the Federal Reserve System came about through secrecy and trickery read the books “The secrets of the Federal Reserve” by Eustace Mullens and the “Creature From Jeckyl Island”

I wholeheartedly agree with Congressman Paul that the Federal Reserve should not be immune from being audited. I also agree that the 16th Amendment should be amended to limit the open-ended and onerous power of taxation. It gives the Congress unrestrained authority to create “entitlements” to buy votes to keep them in office. It is in reality the power to enslave us, and all of the spending proposals thus far by the current Administration and Congress seem aimed to do just that by indebtedness. Of course, much of the electorate receiving benefits are quite content to “share in the wealth” created by others, with little or no regard for the consequences. The phrase in our Constitution PROMOTE the general welfare is being distorted to mean PROVIDE the general welfare. Is it any wonder the term Solon is no longer used in referring to Congresspersons anymore. It is equally important to note the failure of media to fulfill its obligation in the First Amendment. Consider that the Founding Fathers singled out the press, giving the only right bestowed upon a private institution, these words, Congress shall make no law–abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press,–the unfettered right to report any nefarious infringement by government on our Constitution. To the informed observer it seems clear that mainstream media has been grossly negligent in fulfilling that obligation, seemingly content, for self serving reasons, to ignore the erosions of freedoms, leaving much of the electorate dumb, fat, and happy. Until more people become aware of how oppressive government has become there is little likelihood of meaningful change. Education is the key.

  • R Fuller

I agree whole heartedly with doing away with the Fed,which also does away with the IRS thier personal collection agency.this also does away with the 16th amendment,”the law that never was” legally ratified into law,Another hoax to destroy this Republic,Passed in the dark of night. To understand who was behind organizing the 16th amendment, one must read “THE CREATURE OF JEHKYL ISLAND” that exposes the planners of the Fed and the 16th amendmen, involving the world bankers. When we back this lion into the proverbial corner, we need to be ready for the consequences. All assets of Fed and thier banks, must be immediatly confiscated, right down to thier pens&pencils and turned over to congress, to be converted to a hard money system. We will need all our troops on home soil, we will have to be energy independant, like stopping Henry Kissinger and our State department from giving away several hundred square miles and eight islands of the state of Alaska to Russia.Vast oil reserves in the Carribian and the Pasific. I am not an isolationist, however we must secure our Country, and to the devil with the rest of the World, untill this lion is dead.

  • Larry

The “Federal Reserve System” now in place is unconstutional in its ownership. The Constitution speficially states that matterss of money, credit and banking shall be vested in Congress, not some private Corporation. Congress does not have the power to abrogate its charge by a simple majority vote. It would take a Constutional ammendment. It was passed by trickery Christmas Eve 1913 when most of Congress was home for the Holliday. Woodrow Wilson who signed the bill was later reported as saying “I fear that I have just given the Country away.”

  • Claire

Now I am riled up. All countries KNOW that this feeble war has cost America dearly. They probably figure we are pretty WEAK right now with the cost of the war and our economy. You know any of our enemies could step up and come after us now. I hope and pray we have the manpower, the military equipment and the wherewithal here in America to deal with this if it should happen. WE must NEVER appear WEAK. We must stop announcing all of our military plans to the whole world. We have always done this, shooting off our mouths when some things should be secretive. We should not announce to the world information as to what military bases we are closing, we should say NOTHING about our Nuclear power, etc. WE tell everybody everything. WE do NOT need to let our enemies know of our weaknesses! I don’t care what anybody thinks about this. I really believe this.

    • http://Yahoo Dee D

Claire: I agree with the shooting off our mouths. BUT – we Americans are the last to learn about what is truly going on in our country and the government. Many countries learn the truth of any situation before us. We have our newspapers, TV’s and political magazines to thank for that. If we would try to learn who owns and controls the news media’s, we then may learn of who wants to keep us in the dark and why. One party in particular is truly responsible for our news sources bellying-up, but few will admit it and will fight to the bitter end to protect a party line image. I mean the party loyalists. Party before what’s best for our country and her citizens.

  • Winona Wacker

I agree the Fed should be audited, but what frightens me are all of you advocating the end of taxation. Yes, taxes are the bane of our lives in their various forms. But, I am one of the people who have to depend on taxes for my income. If there were no taxes, my VA Compensation would not exist, nor would my Social Security payments. Yes, taxes have gone up and up, but just because some people don’t want to pay them, is that any reason we should do away with our military which also depends on tax money? Should I and others like me be forced to live in the streets? Just how many jobs in this country actually are maintained through taxes? Think about it. One group who shouldn’t receive any kind of stipend is Congress. They are all very rich people, yet they have voted themselves payraises every year for time memorial. We Social Security recipients as well as VA recipients will not get Cola this next January, but just watch, Congress will vote themselves a hefty increase! They are all getting up to seven-figure incomes now, and that includes the darky, so why should they get more? During the span of time from about 2004 to 2009, seems to me I saw a figure of about $25,000.00—and that was just the Senate, I believe! No, we should audit the Fed, but carefully. Best to audit the Congress first, then the Fed. Somehow, I think Ron Paul is trying to hide something, hence his push to audit the Fed and to repeal 1913.

    • MIKE

We are talking about the income tax. Most Americans are not liable to pay it in the first place…it is Unconstitutional! A man’s right to earn a living with his own labor is not taxable. Our founding fathers said this!

If you are receiving a federal privilege (which it sounds like you are) Then you are liable for the tax.

Whether you realize it or not you are being taxed on everything you consume. This is perfectly legal. If I don’t want to pay tax on gas, food, a big screen TV, then I just don’t buy it!

Property tax will not go away as it is needed to keep your local government running for schools, roads, etc.

      • justin

yearly property tax,car registration and all other government fees (they are all taxes) are not only against the idea of a free dmeocracy but prove that we the people do not own these items (ie property, autos, etc). We lease them from the evil ones who tax..the federal, state and local governments. A one time tax may be justified but a continuous tax proves we the people have given our property and freedoms and become slaves…wage slaves. A tax for the use (ie gas tax and sales tax) to pay for services that repair or maintain for the use (ie repair roads, recycle material, etc) is necessary but the continuous taxing is oppressive. City,State, county should be able to opperate on a 1% sales tax…otherwise they are too big and obviously corrupt..look at the mayor of LA taking trips around the world at the expense of citizens! Mike, you have been conditioned by the media (which in turn is conditioned by government) to believe that which is necessary is necessary just on say so …let’s have an audit and a breakdown of where each dolar is spent and for what reasons!!

        • MIKE

Oh, I agree that in a perfect world there would be no taxes of any sort, but realistically that is not going to happen. There are some essential services needed and yes, a lot of state/local governments are more bloated than the feds!(California comes to mind)
I suggest working on getting the income tax eradicated, then move on to the other taxes. The income tax takes the biggest bite out of everyone’s pay. Imagine if you had all of the payroll deductions to spend as how you see fit. Now that would stimulate the economy.

          • Pat

Income tax goes to pay the Fed and only the Fed. Most other taxes are necessary to maintain our society, infrastructure, and general standard of living. The money that goes to the Fed is enormous and the people/groups that receive it guard their source well. Let’s not forget the senator from Minnesota that was going to “bring down the Fed” and then died in VERY mysterious circumstances coneniently explained away with changing stories followed by retirements. Also remember the three presidents that went against the Fed/central bankers-Lincoln, McKinnely, and Kennedy. Go Ron Paul! But be careful and don’t ‘go away for the weekend’ before making any major anouncements (see senator and Kennedy).

        • denniso

Justin…every modern society needs taxes of some sort to function. The legitimate debate is always over what taxes and how much. We are where we are now as a direct result of the debate over the past 100 and more yrs…our tax structure hasn’t just popped up out of nowhere. The multitude of taxes, which are a big pain in the butt, have come about by the desire to create a fair system that doesn’t hit any one group too severely. We could have one large enough tax that paid for everything needed, but it wouldn’t be fair or progressive enough.
For all the screaming about taxes, why do right wing people never question the huge amount that goes to the military? Is there never enough money for the military? Do they never have massive waste or corruption? How many people here actually know the size of the military budget is every yr?

          • http://Yahoo Dee D

denniso: People need to educate themselves on the hidden taxes on our products which we all pay (through the nose).
Take our food products alone. We are led to believe food is exempt from taxes. Not so.
Not accurate figures – just for example—————-
Take a loaf of bread for instance: Wheat being harvested from the field and every process in between – to the shelf, to be purchased by the consumer. Each step is taxed (because it is a profit making step – the farmer who does the hardest labor receives the least amount for his effort and because he is making a profit – pays his share of taxes). A loaf of bread today costs over a dollar. The bigger part of this cost is due to the taxes placed on each process.
This happens on all food products and non food items we consumers purchase. The retail outlet places a higher price on each item to pay their share of taxes.
Is this not taxation without representation and illegal?

Doctor Paul is one of the greatest leaders this country has ever seen.

  • http://copepajman@yahoo.com Joseph

I have embraced Dr. Ron Paul for some 30 years, and I have grown to respect this great American.

I served overseas when the Vietnam War began, and as all G.I.’s, I thought America was there to fight the communist, at that time. Now I weep for the precious American lives that perished in that N.W.O. orchestrated war, a war that was never to be won from the beginning.

This N.W.O. bunch are behind all of America’s economic problems that ALL of us are facing today. Their ancestors “high-jacked” our nation and debauched the U.S. Constitution through similar political action that we have seen since the last 6 months of Bush Jr., and his financial “thug”, Hank Paulson!

Woodrow Wilson signed the Federal Reserve Act into law in 1913, after J.P. Morgan, U.S. Senator Nelson Aldrich, and 4 other traitors manipulated congress into a “fast-track” approval of legislation late December for Wilson to sign into law. Years later Wilson said: “I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country…The growth of the nation (U.S.A.), and all of our activities are in the hands of a few men”. These few men are ALL globalist Internationalist, and Americans are nothing more than “slaves on the plantation”!

    Further information sharing:

Every order for printing U.S. Dollars comes from the Federal Reserve Bank, NOT from the U.S. Treasury which is part of the Constitutionally directed U.S. Government for American citizens. And, that is just the beginning!

America has “bought and paid for” by “FIAT” currency printed at C & 14th Streets, Washington, D.C., over the past 96 years. The share holders, the owners of the Federal Reserve (private) Bank, are the directors of America’s daily functions!

    Hello Chip,
Excellent article (both of them) with Ron Paul. Because of his “clean record” I believe he would make a good leader. The problem (among many) would be, how is he to be protected by the evil that surrounds him, unless we can surround him by similar good men and women.
Chip, other than liking him, what impressions did you get from talking to him face to face? I occasionally attend some local political meetings and I find direct contact with a live person (especially those running for office!)offers more insight into who the person really is on the inside. As you may have guessed, I do not trust anyone unless they pass the “Prerequisite Character Traits” test!!! I do hope these comments from everyone are doing some good.

The United Nations should be abolished and removed from the USA. All its principles are thoroughly communist, and it is a threat to not only the sovereignty of the USA, but to the freedom of every individual. Any Congressman or Senator who supports the UN to any degree is either a fool who is not competent to represent us, or an outright traitor. Ask you Congressmen and Senators where they stand on this issue. Tell them in plain language if they are fools or communists. Be angry because the guilty ones are stealing from you and trying to enslave you.

  • RefreshTheTree

This republican/democrat argument is part of what has ruined this country. Give a person a group to belong to and they have to ascribe to certain ideals. I say we need to abolish the two party system. Candidates should be required to run based on their merit, record, and stances on issues. People would then be forced to actually look at the issues, and the stances, and the person instead of blindly voting for their party. Congress is literally full of treasonous individuals. They have voted for legislation that is in direct violation of the Constitution. They should not only be voted out, but they should be in prison. We are involved in 3 illegal operations: notice I didn’t say war. War requires a Congressional declaration. Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan have not received a formal declaration of war. The government has run completely wild and out of control. Our “representatives” commonly vote for things that damage us as a nation. The question is: are they ignorant, or in on it?

I would encouraged every reader to purchase “The Federal Reserve Conspiracy” by Stanford Professor, Dr. Antony Sutton, and while you are studying the history of the FED, purchase the DVD “The Money Masters” (1-888-843-7568) for an accurate, in depth history on how the international bankers gained control of America. I assure you, you will never be the same after viewing this DVD!

    Hello Winona Wacker,
I understand your concern regarding taxes. I think it would helpful to you if you can pull up Fairtax.org and do a little research.

Also look up EDWIN VIEIRA, he is a ‘Constitution’ specialist (for the want of a better word) he can also offer some very interesting insights into our (concocted) taxing system.

Without corruption, and without greed, and without the Federal Reserve, our country can, and will be returned to sanity! Auditing the Fed will only ‘begin’ to unravel some of the corruption because THOSE who are really in control of our finances will have had sufficient time to cover up (fix the books)
But closing down the FED is absolutely essential if we are to begin to bring our country out of this muli-trillion dollar debt. (last estimate was 102 trillion dollars in accumulative unfunded liabilties alone!)

ALL AMERICANS SHOULD JOIN TOGETHER TO DEMAND THAT EVERY U.S. SENATOR AND EVERY U.S. REPRESENTATIVE SUPPORT THE LEGISLATION TO “AUDIT THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM”!!

Such an audit has NEVER taken place since 1913!! “WHY”? Could it not be said, that “while men slept, the enemy crept in”? While American’s slept, J.P. Morgan and his “five criminal aids” high-jacked the United States of America, and took control of our nation to be operated by a small group of wicked, dominant men!

Audit the FED, and throw-out every elected Senator and Representative who does not support and represent the Constitution and the American people.

Question: WHO DO YOU SUPPOSE IS BEHIND THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION MOVEMENT IN AMERICA? Answer: The same people who are profitting from the loose monetary policies of the Federal Reserve! The same people who have destroyed the jobs in America! The same people who were behind NAFTA during Bill Clinton’s terms in office. Remember “we need NAFTA to obtain “Free Trade”? The “Free Trade” were actually American jobs!

    • http://Yahoo Dee D

Joseph: The import – export allowances are so out of balance its a lose lost situation. America imports much more than she exports.
We export less because our manufacturers are leaving for the cheap slave labor they can’t get here any more and being rewarded for their moves (but the tide is turning because anything is better than nothing and thanks to the union busting rogues, slave labor is on the rebound here). History does repeat itself and we are seeing that in action at this point in time. To think our forefathers who fought for decent working conditions for us and we are moving back to square one in the game plan. Are we to be a service nation? It’s up to us.
Imports are so huge because we the people refuse to leave the garbage lay on the shelves in the stores. Supply and demand was once the hue and cry and now it should be demand and supply. But how many will stick together and work toward a common goal anymore? We’ve allowed ourselves to conditioned very well by the controllers in our country and they ain’t gonna lay down and let us have our way.

      • DaveH

        Dee,
Free trade is not America’s problem. We have too much government sucking up our financial resources and wasting them. Put the term “economic freedom in the search field and start reading articles. The countries with the most economic freedom also have the most robust economies. We can blame foreigners for our problems until the cows come home and it won’t get any better. We need to acknowledge that the problems in the US are created by the US.

        • http://Yahoo Dee D

Yes Dave: I am in agreement with you. But who will ever be willing to admit that we are our own worst enemies? It is so much easier for us to always point a finger and blame the other guy. WE ALL must be able to look at ourselves in the mirror, kick our own behinds and tell ourselves we have done a lousy job for everyone and our country.

          • Claire

Dee D–We have always been our own worst enemies. Truer words were never spoken. We elected idiots to run our country and we keep re-electing them.

The best solution Dee is freedom. People behave their best when they are free. As an example, think of the rebellious teenagers. All that I have known came from very strict households. They will not only make big mistakes (as we all do), but they continue repeating the same mistakes to spite their overcontrolling parents. People at any age don’t like being told what to do.
In my case, I know better than 90% of the population how best to live my life. And still I have to bend to the force of government which keeps me from making the right decisions in many cases. Those 90% are more than happy to control my choices.

I think the rebellious children you speak of are the ones who has had tyrants for parents. These kind of parents are teaching the children to rebel. But then again prisons are full of sons and daughters who have been taught nothing by caring parents. Then there are always some exceptions to every rule.

Joseph: The NAFTA pack should be shredded and trashed. Yes, it passed under Clinton but it was Bush Sr’s cup of tea. All in the game plan.
Import and export quotas should be balanced $1.00 for $1.00. Import a $1000.00 dollars of China’s goods, China must take a $1000.00 of American goods. Even steven. This way our manufacturers would return, keep their investments out of our country and also manufacture here in America to make the profits from both ends of the spectrum. It would create the jobs America needs to sustain herself and to refuse to become a service nation or a third world country. Will it ever happen? I doubt it because we have allowed ourselves to be led around by our noses much too long.

        • DaveH

Free trade is a positive thing. The only thing wrong with NAFTA is that the concept of government controlled “free trade” is an Oxymoron.
One of the causes of the Great Depression was the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act:
          http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoot-Hawley

I have no doubt that if our auto industry was completely protected, very few of us could afford cars. Of course the Auto Unions would be happy with that.

          • http://Yahoo Dee D

Yes Dave: Free trade is a good thing in the final analysis. But when it is set up to benefit only one side of the border then it becomes a dangerous and venomous scheme to benefit only the greedy wanna get rich fast schemers in the mix. Life in itself is not fair but representatives should have to balance all equations to benefit any and all involved. The ones who do not know how to be honest and fair are the ones voters should concentrate on removing from office before total disaster reins.

          • DaveH

            Dee,
Nothing is more fair than the free market. Only when government picks sides do things become unfair. Without the distortion of government, the companies that succeed are the ones that please the consumers. When the government gets involved with its power of force you can bet on corruption and special favors. In that case, the companies that succeed are the ones who have the most political savvy.

A little bit of history for the american people, look up THE BIGGEST SCAM IN HISTORY,AND EXECUTIVE ORDER 1111O.Now is the time to kick these crooks out, they have no right by law, thats right by law to control our money.it’s NEVER been ratified.Woodrow Wilson was our countries worst president. He sold the country out 100 years ago. I’m with you RON PAUL,even if i was a democrat once.If this can be fixed, and only the american people can do it,we will have our country back.

  • Dano1125

We, as voting citizens can solve the government intrusion problem very easily. The 545 persons who comprise Congress, the president and the Supreme Court are OUR EMPLOYEES. The Supreme Court members are ‘Justices for life,’ so they’re out…BUT, the remaining 536 CAN BE FIRED BY THEIR EMPLOYERS…US. 435 representatives, 100 senators and 1 president = 536 incumbents. If the U.S. voters decide to ‘VOTE ‘EM ALL OUT,’ or FIRE THEM, we’ll be able to start afresh in 2010 and 2012. If ANY of these 536 persons have ‘INCUMBENT’ as their status, simply vote for their OPPONENTS in the elections of 2010 and 2012, and we will have successfully REPLACED THE PROBLEM EMPLOYEES by FIRING THEM, and replaced each of them with representatives who will be VERY CLEAR as to why they have been HIRED! Again, ‘VOTE ‘EM ALL OUT’ or as a regional pundit said ‘DON’T RE-ELECT NONE OF ‘EM.’

    • http://Yahoo Dee D

Dano: They are dug in too deep in their trenches. We have allowed things to go on too long for a vote to correct anything. Not enough voters will stick together to accomplish what needs to be done. When the powers that be think one particular person running is a threat they throw in ringers to divide the votes and conquer.
I truly believe that all citizens should unite and concern themselves with this “New World Order”. We will have it shoved down our throats. I feel all crooks in all governments the world over has bought into the concept and will follow through on it. That will be the end of DEMOCRACY the world over and the beginning of the end for all mankind.
Why is the news media remaining so silent on this issue?

      • Jana

Dee, I agree with you. Now for the $64,000. question. How do we get all of the voters to unite?
This forum is a start, but there are millions out there that don’t have time to listen, read, or watch.
Anyone out there have any suggestions??

        • Claire

Jana–you stated “this forum” is a start. To unite people is a tough job. However, if we really wanted to, we could do it.

        • DaveH

          Jana,
I think the Democratic Party is in for a very big surprise in 2010. There is precendent for my feeling. The Democrats controlled Congress for 25 years prior to Jimmy Carter’s damaging of our economy:
          http://uspolitics.about.com/od/usgovernment/l/bl_party_division_2.htm

And Jimmy Carter pales (no pun intended) in comparison to Barrack Obama.

Dave: What do you know of the Hard Core or the Sponsorship Act? Who come up with these two bills and when?
Those two policies put into action are two main reasons the employment problems started arising.
Can anyone tell me anything about these two bills? I’m curious myself, because they both had an impact on me in the workplace.
The Hard Core act was implemented in 1968. What was it?
The Sponsorship act was implemented during and after the Vietnam conflict. By whom and why?

          • eyeswideopen

Dee, I think you are looking for this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ERISA

          • http://Yahoo Dee D

Eyes: The link you posted has nothing to do with the Hard Core Act. I have researched endlessly trying to learn who proposed this act and when it was voted in. It must be kept under lock and key as I am unable to learn anything. Or negotiated behind closed doors and kept out of the public eye.
The act itself was designed to place undesirables into the workforce. By undesirables I mean, welfare recipients, ex convicts and trouble making gang figures.
The program gave any company willing to employ any of these workers 50% of their salaries payed by federal funds (our tax dollars).
The non union company I worked for had approx. 5000 workers on their payroll. They put on 15,000 more workers. Do the math. 15,000 workers at 50% of their salaries reimbursed (payed by our tax dollars) amounted to a lot of money for big business.
When the program ended the company had to downsize their workforce because it was no longer a profit making venture for them.
Bottom line – I had 14yrs 11 months of my life invested in this non union company. For my time I receive $51.53 cents a month.
My husband had over 24 yrs and for his time he receives $70.00 a month.
I came back to this site to see if anyone knew anything about these two acts and was willing to share any information with me. Yours was the only added post.
Now for the sponsorship act– This country has almost all the South Vietnamese citizens able to work brought over to our country on a sponsorship. They were employed instead of the American citizens because they meant big bucks for their sponsors.
To sponsor any immigrant under this act the sponsor had to pay their fare to our country, have a place for them to live and a job for them.
The immigrant worked the first 5 years tax exempt but they had to pay their sponsors a percentage of the paycheck they earned. Anyone could be a sponsor. Taxpayers also payed their medical expenses and made it possible for them to receive grants to start their own businesses. Explains how we have so many motels and fast food owners in our country.
The big CEO’S, good buddies and higher ups in the work places were the select few who had any knowledge of this program and they kept it quiet. The CEO’s were in a position to supply the jobs while turning their backs on American citizens who were looking for work.
The big three hired many of the ex-employees from the non-union company I worked for. I got a call and was offered a job and I accepted. That’s how I wound up working in the auto industry.
Every time I heard through (the grapevine) they would be hiring, I would ask my supervisor to put in a word for my brother and son-in-law because they were effected with un-employment like me. I asked my boss on a Friday to mention my family and he informed me I had heard wrong, there were no plans to hire any new workers.
Come Monday a family of 5 new employees were brought into the department I worked in. Vietnamese origin – Mother,Father,2 daughters and a son from the same family. You bet your bippy I was angry. I stormed into my bosses office (I had learned just enough of the sponsor program to be a dangerous person). I demanded to know who their sponsor was and I stated I was going public with the information. I said it’s a sorry state of affairs when an American citizen could not get a job in their own country while the wealthy could make big bucks at their expense. Needless to say both my relatives were hired.
But to this day I can find no binding info on these two acts. I want to try to learn the party members behind them.

That’s the problem Jana. Anyone who has the answer for that question should run for president.

          • http://Yahoo Dee D

Thank you eyes: This will be of great help. Now to dig deeper to learn just who twisted and took full advantage of the Sponsorship program to make the big bucks at the expense of the blue collar workers here in America will be a challenge, but worthy of investigating. If nothing else, maybe a few of our greedy wanna be millionaires at any and all expense will surface. It’s a shame we have to dig deep beneath the news to get the unbiased truthful news.
I have nothing against any citizen in any country wanting to better themselves. In truth, I considered it a compliment in the highest form with anyone choosing to come and live in our country. As we all know at one time many people risked their very lives to get to America. Now the trend seems to be going the other way.
Since Americans are losing many of their freedoms the influx of immigrants is growing smaller.

    Good point Dano,
Vote out the ‘corruption’ easier said than done, as Dee D says; they have been entrenched for far too long.
Why do the Media remain silent?…because the CORPORATE ELITE have installed THEIR people in key Executive positions in the Media. One example of this is The FOX NEWS NETWORK. Why are the American people kept in the dark about the news behind the news? Because Rupert Murdock owns FOX, and he is a CFR member, and CFR (and the TRILATERAL COMMISSION) control the Government! And they are in bed with the UN, IMF and the Bilderberg Group ad infinitum, ad nauseum!

    Thank you Joseph,
I will look into the DVD “The Money Masters” Have not read ‘The Federal Reserve Conspiracy’ but I’ll keep it in mind. So far I have found “The Creature from Jekyll Island” to be the most informative on the Federal Reserve because the author takes you into the past (through a mental “time machine”)and traces the origins of the ‘Creature’ from the Rothschild dynasty in Europe to the present day and the insanity of the “Globalization’Threat. It is only after reading it (along with online research) that you begin to get a clearer picture of WHAT and WHO they really are, and the mass misery they are about to inflict upon millions of unsuspecting citizens…I sometimes wonder if it would have been better to have remained ignorant…but then without knowledge, how are we to help others understand? The people deserve to know the truth.

  • Markus

    Denisso,
I just read this entire chain of correspondence and tried to find one item that you gave constructively to the conversation. As usual, with all libs, you scream talking points “given” to you by the usual sorces, and can’t use your own brain to formulate a competant thought. You scream about Bush, but can’t see the “Obama” in the room. Most of these people can admit when their wrong, ie: Bush’s second term, But libs will NEVER admit they were deceived by the biggest “puppet” of them all, Obama. So keep calling us names, because your hatred of anyone who doesn’t believe what you believe is so passe’ that we just look at you people and laugh. So go follow your fearless leader and as your going over the cliff with him, look up at us waving goodbye to you.
P.S. you could be watching a tivo of Obberman instead of calling everyone names.

    • http://Yahoo Dee D

Markus: I have very little faith in any politician because I think the majority are in bed with each another. I don’t think Obama is the man that can even begin to cure what was in place for him, that started years ahead of his time.
I truly feel he was elected because the majority of voters realized America could not continue down the collision course we traveled for the 8 years preceding him. The fact he was a black man added fuel to the burning fire. A first in the History of our once great country.
Another important fact—Who would openly admit that the color of his skin was a leading factor for the hatred and wishing he would die of brain cancer or that it was prayed he should fail? Those who spew this garbage do not realize what they are wishing for could be the catalyst for total destruction of us all.
I believe the color of his skin, the fact the Republican party lost a lot of control and out and out fear is the leading cause for all the bigoted and destructive hatred going on around us.
If all could forget party loyalties and concentrate on the who and what would and could benefit us all and our country, only then would one who is not on the take and having their pockets filled by the crooks in big business and the many lobbyists will ever be elected for the highest office in our land.
I may be wrong, but maybe we should all really think long and hard for the true reasons as to why we believe the way we believe and why so many of us act like young playground bullies toward one another.
United we stand but a house divided against itself will crumble and fall.

Dee, maybe the men have been running things too long and it is time that women take back the country from the greedy and corrupt politicians who have no ethics. I agree with your entire statement.

        • cr747

          • cr747

OH YEA, I understand it all. I don’t have a problem with putting all women in there. I have quite a few women on my payroll, and I can guarantee you I could pick any one of them, and they understand, and KNOW, a WHOLE lot more than the ones trying to run the COUNTRY now. Seventy-five percent of them have a Law Degree. I even have a few women that are pilots, and also lawyers. No problem here with women running for office, but they need to be a whole lot smarter than the ones there now. I would even go as far to say that I would back Sarah Palin by a LARGE majority over what we have now TRYING to run our country. Obama is not smart enough to be a boy scout leader. “Plain and simple.”!!!!!!!!!!

          • cr747

Eyes, I would gladly give someone my inheritance I received from my family for a life without all the hustle and bustle that I contend with day after day. When I was growing up there were body guards around 24-7. You know how much fun that is when you are growing up, and then start dating, and there is a couple car loads of body guards around you all the time? No I bet you don’t. I don’t HATE anyone, and if I offend anyone I am SORRY!!! But when you have to have someone around you all the time to protect you from some people looking to harm you in some way, It’s not very enjoyable. Just last night I attended a Christmas Party at a well known restaurant that my Dr. had, and here is my wife and I covered with strange men, “to most of the people” sitting there around us talking amongst themselves, and keeping an eye on each and every one there. You know, It’s embarrassing, and it makes you feel like a heel. Most people around us, “like our church” and events we attend in our hometowns are all aware of the need for all this. Then you have the strange people that don’t know, wandering what in the h— is going on. My Precious Grand Children, Which like to stay with us as much as they can, do not know what it is like to go to the park and play with normal kids. So Sad For Them. I didn’t choose to live like this, and as I said earlier I would gladly change places with someone, just to have a normal life.
Again if I offend anyone I am SORRY. I don’t have a problem with women in higher offices, but I think our Government has gotten out of hand, and it is time “we the people” let Washington know that they work for us. They don’t have the right to tell us what we have to do and accept or else. Stand up AMERICA and be heard. Take our country back, and lets all show them we will not stand for any more of telling us we have to———.!!!!!!!!

Dee D, I’ve been called a lot of things, but never a snickerdoodle–LOL. By the way Betty Crocker has some good recipes for snickerdoodles!! Some of my staff and chefs bakes a lot of cookies and candy for the Christmas Season and carries them to the shelters where people are less fortunate than a lot of us. Dee D, you may have already read I am a Lawyer, and was a fighter pilot in Vietnam. Retired after 22 years. Did this to stay away from the family business. We owned,”as I have stated,” some large truck stops, and restaurants all over the US. I had to retire from service when my parents died and left all this to me. As I have stated before my Dad was a politician, which called for all the activity that I mentioned in my statement. I have a Ranch in Texas, but my main home place is in Hawaii. I do own three 747′s. Most of the time they are all in use every day. We, my wife and I have two children, a daughter forty, and a son twenty six with three grand children. The oldest is sixteen, the middle one is eleven, and the youngest is two. I do own a fleet of helicopters for sight seeing in Hawaii. My son and daughter run these, and also a flight school.
I fill fortunate to have what I have, but as I said it is very upsetting at times to have to live like this. God has blessed us very much I fill like for my lovely Wife who is Indian, and our two children, along with my three Grand Children.
I have a friend who is a missionary in Africa. I have helped to support for them to build church’s, schools, and dig water wells. It is a blessing to see the smile on these people’s face when a church or a school or even a well is finished.
I have no clue how many employ’s I have nation wide, but I can assure you I have never had very few to ever quit.
So if you think of me as a snickerdoodle, so be it. I got a chuckle out of it.
Being on the computer is my way of relaxing, and being alone from the fast pace of life I have to live.
So, the twenty third of December I will be free for a big family Christmas, and will return,”myself” back to the air January fourth. So from my family to all of you may God Bless, and I which all of you A very merry Christmas, and a God filled prosperous New Year.!!!!!!

          • http://Yahoo Dee D

cr747: Since your home is in Hawaii, would you happen to know a retired air force pilot by the name of H.C.Messmore? Home town and state,Santa Monica ,Calif. Savings and Loan business owner. Spent lots of time in Hawaii for his sons treatment, after effects of polio. Could get better treatments in Hawaii than in the states.
Snickerdoodle was a compliment to you and by the way, Pillsbury’s receipts are much better and more moist than Betty Crockers.
Pardon us women for being a little touchy about womens’ rights. We have come a long way, however we still have a way to go. Yes, we are still discriminated against in many ways. We’ve had to fight for every foothold along the way. I do not nor did not agree with the burning of the bra’s and womens lib movements, but they done some good for all women. In total truth, no one in this country would amount to anything had it not been for the mothers who incubated them and delivered them, nourished. fed and kept them alive to grow into adulthood. Even today the women receive very little thanks for their accomplishments in society. Also, some women should be hung by the umbilical cords that are discarded after the delivery. Thank God those types are in the minority.

  • Claire

Dee D–I will have to agree with you on this one. I believe this is the reason I have become very disenchanted with politics. I am sickened by the hate, and yes, the bigotry. I am disillusioned with the civility we Americans are supposed to have towards one another. Yes, the Republicans lost, and they went totally out of control. They have made up their minds that they want the Administration and the President to fail. Congress will not work together, they won’t even listen to each other. And we are paying their salaires to act like idiots. They will stop at nothing to make sure that NOTHING will be accomplished. It is tragic, because in the end, we Americans are the losers. We moan and groan about this one and that one, and yet the same ones get re-elected. You are right, united we stand, divided we fall, and Congress is falling.

    • American Citizen

Claire, it seems to me you Democrats don’t understand what those of us who are against this Administration’s policies think. It has nothing to do with prejudice. When they say they want it to fail, they mean they don’t want the government to run our lives. What they are doing is the exact opposite of what they should be doing to bring back our economy and jobs. History proves what works and they refuse to do it.

      • American Citizen

Sorry, Claire, this should have been addressed to DeeD.

        • http://Yahoo Dee D

American citizen: Both the Republican and the Democratic party members are in the game to make every penny they can from any source that is willing to pay it. Why do so many incompetents throw their hats into the political ring? But the biggest question to be asked WHY do the voters keep putting the same ones in office election after election? There are too many party loyalist to really make a change for the better at the polls. We are so very busy fighting with each other to defend who or what? We have allowed ourselves to be programed to do the very thing we are doing and our government is loving every bit of it. Keep swinging at each other, it keeps everything else out of the spotlight.

      • http://Yahoo Dee D

American Citizen: Yes when they say they want it to fail – they mean the policies. Okay – Now what policy in particular do they mean when it is said they hope he dies of brain cancer? mmmmmmm

        • Jana

Dee, I have never heard that one before. Brain Cancer? That is wrong to want anyone to die.
I do pray for Obama, I pray for him to have wisdom to use for our country, not against it. I pray for him to love our country and not be ashamed of it. And, I pray that he will have the wisdom to get us back on our feet again, as well as putting the right people in the right offices that will be good for this country.
I pray for his safety, as well as for the safety of his family.

          • Claire

Jana—thank you for your post. I have heard some terrible things concerning the President and past Presidents. Mostly from talk radio. Talk radio does have an impact on some people. Some people believe every word that comes out of Limbaugh’s mouth, out of OTHER talk radio people’s mouths. These people are really mean. We have to draw the line and DECIDE for ourselves. We cannot let these people decide for us. I do not believe these talk show people have our best interests at heart. They actually get pissed when anything good happens. And they get pissed if anyone DARES to disagree with them. They have a negative view that appears rather scary at times. Sometimes I think they find glory in seeing the American pepople fight amongst themselves. I also think they live to STIR the pot and keep things in an unheaval.

          • http://Yahoo Dee D

Jana: The prayer that Obama should die from brain cancer was on the boob tube. Uttered by a right wing Southern Baptist Minister. I feel this is one factor the anti-christ is relying on. Drive once upon a time believers away from their christian beliefs and faith.
Many feel they will be able to recognize him on sight when he appears.
He will be very crafty and be able to work miracles that will deceive many of the elite. I think many will consider him GOD. BUT, we all know when God returns he will enter on billowing clouds from the South West and all who see will know who he is.
I feel the anti-christ has been working his evil for quite awhile and not enough people are able to see it.
Prayer – removed from our schools – In God WE Trust removed from our paper money and coins – athletes not being allowed to pray before the game starts – children not allowed to pledge allegiance to our flag – nativity scenes to be removed from public places – Ten Commandment disallowed in front of federal buildings. I may be wrong but I truly believe these actions are the work of the soldiers of the anti-christ.
Start slow then when all defenses are down and complacency becomes the rule – rush in for the kill.

      • eyeswideopen

American, yes history proves that when no one has any money, someone has to spend, that being the government, who was the only one with a source. Go back and read about the Great Depression and you will see why it took so long to recover. It actually was a war, and the fact that we raised taxes for that war prior to being attacked that fully righted this country. Never in the history of this country have we cut taxes and become involved in a war. History is a wonderful thing, if you actually learn from it.

Am. Citizen: I am not a Democrat, nor am I a Republican. I honestly try my very best to do a little homework and pick the one I think will be the very best for America and all her citizens.
The only thing I have to rely on is the news media for a newby. I also track voting records to try to cast a half intelligent vote for the ones re-running for the office.
I am gullible and will believe what is said — until I catch a politician in the first lie. After the first lie, I would vote for a dog catcher to try to get him/her out of office.

My comment was that the person acting as president did not like the Black or White people. Because of how his parents treated him as a child. Leaving him in the care of others while they were off doing their thing, And it all happened in America. So the hatered for America. So now we suffer. Because the citizens of this great country wanted to watch sports nstead of taking some time for politics.

Lloyd: It’s a given – all children want to be like their parents or the complete opposite. They also want to be like their siblings or completely different. Then many they encounter along the way influences them.
I raised five children and its mind boggling – raised in the same household, same set of rules and the same guidelines for all. Final results – five complete different personalities.
Can you explain the reasons for this? I lived it and I still can’t see the rational.

      • Jana

Dee, It’s funny but its true. I am sure the Lord looks down at all of us and says the same thing. They have the same rules to follow, I sent them a book of letters so they can know Me and follow me, yet we interpret the Bible differently and go different ways.
        Go figure.

      • Claire

dee D–I have two kids- a son and a daughter. A year and a half apart in age. They are totally different and yet they were raised the same way. The daughter spends money like it is going out of style and my son is frugal as heck. But, they do have one thing in common. They both have compassion.

Claire: I learned raising children – one of the hardest jobs parents have to deal with.
I have to laugh sometimes – when childless couples try to convince the population on how they should raise their children. I don’t mean , laugh at the people, but just allow them to live with a couple of happy go lucky, fun loving little daredevils for a month.

          • Claire

Dee D–Yes, the scenario would certainly change if the shoe was on the other foot! It is a tough job. I hated to see mine grow up but they have and now they know what it is like to raise kids!
Another thing, two couples that are friends of ours are now raising their grandkids! There seems to be more and more of this type of situation. It is sad since our friends deserve to have the simple life at this point in their lives. But now they are doing it all over again. And I might add that it has been hard on them. But what can you do? Let them go to foster homes? I really feel for them.

The liberals still aren’t listening, because they don’t want to. Obama is a communist, plain and simple, and the race card is all these “ozones” have to counter with. I’m not prejudiced either, because I hate all of them, not just the demons. The pubs are almost as bad. We need to start over with new blood in DC and go back to 1962 when they kicked God out of the school system. This time we need to kick the other side out of the country, because they don’t belong here. There’s a reason they put “In God We Trust” on the money, but that means nothing to the liberals who only see the numbers on the bills. They will destroy our country if something drastic is not done soon. That just reminded me about something in my part of the world. I don’t think I’ve ever been face to face with a liberal and I make no bones about my opinion to anyone, but then again I don’t think they would want to make an argument. They value their life and their lie too much.

      Kilrntex:
That is one of our big problems. When we have a majority of one party in complete control making the laws that all must live by, then we are in deep trouble. That gives the greedy politicians the right of way to sack the whole system for their financial gain.
We definitely need a balanced mixture (as evenly as possible) so each leg of the legislature (who should be willing to work together for the common cause) so each can police each other.
I feel that is one reason most people vote into the two party system – trying to keep as even a keel as possible. Therefore making it almost impossible for any other party to break the ice and gain in power.

      • DaveH

You’re right Dee, evil has no Party boundaries. That is why we are in the mess we’re in. The citizens bought into the lie that we needed government to protect us from those evil businessmen. In reality Government is not immune from evil and, unlike companies, they have the power of force.
We need to shrink the size of government and get the United States back to freedom of choice.

    • eyeswideopen

Kilrntex, it is so nice that you don’t want us to follow the Constitution. You are part of the religious right who think that religion should be included in schools. However, we were lucky that our founding fathers had enough foresight to know that radicals would try to hijack the schools using them to promote the type of religion that was popular at the time. The founding fathers many who were Deists knew that somehow the religious zealots would arise and try to make Americans conform to a religious sect. They protected us against people like you.

Jana—you mentioned “little people” should run for office. Well, I bet the people on this site could do a better job of running this country than the ones that have been running it for years and years.

    • Jana

      Claire, Yes, they could.

    • DaveH

The best solution is to put the power of choice back to the citizens. Shrink the size of government. Let they who know what’s best for themselves (the individuals) control their own lives.

    • DaveH

Consider this. If a person doesn’t care enough about himself/herself to get a good education, or a good job, do we really think somebody else is going to care enough to do what’s right for that person? Of course the politicians give lip service to that endeavor, but that is so the politicians can be comfortable and happy and get reelected.
Our local representative has voted for almost every spending bill that has come along this year and she sends her constituents letters proclaiming that she is pushing for fiscal responsibility. Sure.

      • eyeswideopen

DaveH, since you think that all public schools are worthless and all the colleges are run by liberal Democrats where would someone go to get a “good education”? Just wondering how you think someone could attain what you consider a “good education”. Would that be one of the “Conservative colleges that preach religion and party politics? Or does the Libertarian Party have a private college which you recommend?

      • eyeswideopen

DaveH, on the other posts you were slamming the Unions, so I take it that a good job wouldn’t be one that is a union job? So, if you can’t find the only college that isn’t run by liberals, and you can’t work for the union, what is your recommendation on how to get a good job?

  • Markus

    Denniso-
Once again my point is made. Calling people names, not stating facts, and just being a blowhard, your why Libs make us all sick. If you want to have free health care, not live with God in society, pay more taxes, and walk around with some fake epithy for the poor, leave this country. How does that sound? Beat it. All you libs should just leave this country and stop forcing your views on us. This country was founded upon the Judeo Christtian Philosophy, and if you don’t want to live under it, then go. Get out of here, we would be glad to see a mass exodus of you moral and ethical “relativists”. We are waking up finally to your tyranny, and there are many more of us than you. Hope you enjoyed living off of our hard work, because we are over giving you all our money. Go get a job, stop with the fake epithy, go to church and ask God for forgivness, and finally, just wake up.
P.S. Can’t wait for the real creative name calling in your response.

Cr747: Sir, do you believe there is a secret “society” or “societies” behind the scenes that are manipulating our government and other governments to bring about the collapse of America and institute a global government? Do you believe that they are bankrupting our currency on purpose to institute a global currency? Do you believe that our politicians are puppets to these people and they are just pitting us against each other to keep us side tracked to what is really going on? That this “Global Warming” B.S. is just a “crisis” they need to take control?
I believe this is so deep that most people can’t even comprehend, that we are going down a road that is all orchestrated by these evil, wealthy, one world order elites. What do you think?

          • cr747

Markus, sorry I haven’t been able to get back to you. Have been in court Mon., Tues, and part of Wed.
I do not believe that there are secret societies that are manipulating our government. I do believe our on government is trying to manipulate,”We The People.” In which case it could cause a collapse in global government. As for as bankrupting our currency on purpose to institute a global currency. Seems as though our government is trying to manipulate, and use our currency to deplete our nation of all our resources with foreign countries, which will lead to less marketing of resources to other countries. We should all start saying, no thank you for items made in China. China would love to be able to rule the US. To me that seems to be where we are heading. As for politicians being puppets on a string. I feel that we are being watched very closely by other countries. Where at one time other countries wanted to be like the US, they are turning towards more prosperous countries for their solutions for wealth, and we are letting the other countries take advantage of our nation, which in turn is causing our Dollar to shrink in value.
Global Warming is not as bad as what they would like for us,”we the people,” to think!!! Al Gore has made BILLIONS on this farce since he has been involved in it. Naturally he is trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Only to pad his pockets more and more.
To cap it off, I believe that this is so deep that people can’t comprehend that we are going down a road that is orchestrated by evil, wealthy, one world order elites. All nations seem to ignore our Government more and more each day that when our leaders go over to their country, they tend to turn a deaf ear. In other words they see that THE UNITED STATES is in financial trouble, and like a bunch of hungry hogs are waiting for the right time to jump on.

      • Markus

Denniso, Went back to see if I saw any of the aforementioned names delivered towards Obama. None. Conservatives, not Republicans, call it from the gut, which these folks are doing. Liberals, on the other hand, will NEVER admit that they are wrong because their ideology far outweighs any particular issue. You know in your gut that what is happening is outrageous. Take today for instance, Obama had the gall to stand there and say the Republicans are spending us into massive debt. It is a complete disconnect from reality, as with many of his decisions. Just admit that you are a Socialist, and we can stop with the nonsense and have a discussion about whether or not we as Americans want to go down that road. Simple. This path we are on will lead to no good for you, your family or me and my family. If you want the government to do everything for you, then just admit and take a stand for it. Most of us don’t, that’s really the crux of the matter really. I pray that the deceived will wake up, but the Bible says: “I will put a veil over their eyes.” Unfortunate.

    • eyeswideopen

Markus, this country was not founded upon Judeo-Christian beliefs. Do you see Jesus Christ mentioned in any of our documents? No, that’s because a majority were Deists who didn’t believe in the Revelation. Oh, they believed in God, but not Jesus. You need to do some more research and then you will understand why we have no national religion and why the Constitution has protected us from religious zealots dictating what we will believe in. Did anyone every tell you that Christ’s teaching were socialist ideas? He included all, and probably wouldn’t take kindly to you deciding that you are superior and will order people from their own country.

To have Life, Liberty, and to PURSUE happiness, the founding fathers decided to instill a set of principles to which this society was to adhere to. Those principles were the judeo christian PHILOSOPHY!!! Go be a Morman, Catholic, Methodist, or an Atheist for that matter. The government could not tell the people to be in any PARTICULAR church. Hence the separation of church and state. But for us to engage in a system of rules, the judeo christian philosophy was taken. Have you not seen the engravings on the Supreme Court buildings or many of the other monuments for that matter? Have you not read the writings of Washington, Jefferson, Madison? They all believed that for this system to work, we needed a set of guidelines to live by, and that is the aforementioned philosphy. Simple, easy, direct. I would encourge you to read “The 5,000 year leap”, a great book that talks of this very thing, with various writings and words spoken by the Founding Fathers.
We are inherently corrupt in nature, and this sytem is so fragile that for all of us to engage with each other, we have to understand that this system was a gift that can be easily taken away. There is a bit of faith in God that we must have granted, and that he has given us this amazing existence because of his grace for a people that believe in him. Read the book of Kings in the Bible to see what happens when you “kick him to the curb”, so to speak…We are so lucky and we are about to throw it all away with the apathy of the common American. Sad…

Obama chose Gates to be Secretary of Defense–Gates is a known Republican that was in the Bush administration. Obama is listening to Gates–that is why the war will still go on. What more can I say? Obama thought choosing Republicans for some of the positions would help. It helped alright-he shot himself in the foot. They will do anything and everything to screw things up for Obama and Obama was/is too dumb to see it. Bipartisanship really helps, doesn’t it? Wrong. This is what is happening to the Obama administration, not to mention Holder, Geitner, Summers, Egad.

I too voted for Ron Paul in last years election because he is the only candidate who was telling us the truth, yes I had to write his name in and I would do it again and again as thus far there is no one even close to him in my book. Pelosi, and Reed, need to be impeached and removed from office immediately as they can only do further damage to our country they are in fact traitors. The fact that the Federal Reserve even exists proves Congress is not doing their jobs, Congress is responsible for everything that goes down in out country if it exists in government it is because Congress wills it to exist. No other entity is responsible, they are accountable and if things need changing then they are the entity responsible for doing so, they must be HELD ACCOUNTABLE. Every member of Congress has a voting record, it is up to the people to monitor this voting record and HOLD ACCOUNTABLE any Congress person not doing their jobs That is the responsibility of THE PEOPLE! So get off your Pelosies and take care of business people. Don’t listen to their bullpelosi follow their actions they are what tell the truth actions not words. ACTIONS = TRUTH, WORDS = LIES.

Having just read through all the posts, it is heartening to know there are those of us willing to educate ourselves in order to find the the truth. It is sickening to realize the fraud our government has perpetuated on the American people. I, for one, believe as long as the Fed is allowed to exist with all it’s fraud and manipulations, there will be a OWG. This plan has been in the works for a very long time…….and as long as people do nothing, it will happen. Also, as long as we keep putting the blame on party affiliations instead of using our energy to change things, we’ll just keep wasting time while they carry on with their devious plans. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!…..it’s all one party….the greed and power party. I wholeheartedly support Ron Paul……he is one of a very few politicians I know of who knows what his role is as a representative of the people. He believes in upholding our constitution…..what a concept!…., is not swayed by special interests and lobbyists, and votes his concience. Since we are not allowed to write in our vote in my state, I was at a loss who to vote for. I was not a fan of either candidate. At the last minute, after Colin Powell {a man I greatly respected} endorsed him, I decided {and I will always regret it…..always trust your first impression!}, to give Obama a chance. All he has shown me is what a deceptive, manipulative liar he is, and while I can say that about other presidents, it usually takes them a little longer to reveal themselves. To see our president go around the world apologizing for us and kow-towing to foreign leaders makes me ill….don’t apologize for me…..apologize for your buddies at the Fed. They control the money…..that gives them the power. Everything that is happening in this world is manipulated by those in power for their own gain. And I am sorry for those who prefer to believe, in spite of all the evidence out there, that we should trust our government, that they would never conciously do anything to hurt us, that they know what’s best for us, etc. They will never believe it. The only one who knows what’s best for me, is me. I was born a free human being of the planet Earth and plan to stay that way. If I can’t, I would rather leave.
Dee D: I found it interestingthat while xpounding on woman’s issues you stated “I do not, nor did not agree with the bra burning or woman’s lib” things. When woman burned their bras, it was a declaration of freedom and a refusal to tolerate being controlled by men, society, etc. Certainly there were very few woman prior to this, of my mother’s generation, who held places of power in politics or the coporate world, who truly felt they had equality in the work place or their personal relationships. Many, probably most, women of my mother’s generation, lived their lives through their husbands and children. They were not only sexually repressed but intellectually repressed as well. If not for the “woman’s lib” things, women would still be paid less than men for the same job, there would be fewer woman in politics…..though I could do without some of them….fewer women CEO’s, and we would still be considered sluts if we chose to have sex before marriage. It was only when a generation of young women decided they didn’t want to walk three steps behind…..and weren’t going to….that things began to change for woman. We could use some of that attitude and commitment today by deciding we aren’t going to put up with it any longer. People can only be enslaved by their government if they allow it.

    Markus,
Ref; your Dec.12.09 comments to cr747. I absolutely agree with you. I wish you were wrong, I wish I was wrong. But the findings of 20 months of research into American Political History has been fully substantiated as national & global events unfold. If you only had a choice of three books to read in order to gain a better understanding of what is transpiring on the world stage, I would recommended “THE BATTLE FOR THE MIND” by Tim LaHaye, “THE CREATURE FROM JEKYLL ISLAND” by G.Edward Griffin and the “BIBLE”
This combination is an interesting & challenging study because it(through research) brings together a balance of Historical, Political and Scriptual data. It is amazing how, through the entire process, you begin finding pieces of the jigsaw puzzle, and when you start putting them together and a picure begins to emerge, it is, even for me,…..an absolute revelation. I hasten to add that I am grateful to all the other excellent and recommendable writers whose works and insight have been indispensible during the course of my study.
Good comments & viewpoints from everyone, although we could do without the unecessary and childish name calling.

It is funny to hear you Elephant”s and Jackasses say one thing and defend it later. First Elephants This political party is nothing but Warmongers> Look at all the Wars in the past and how many of the Commander in Chief were Republicans. I was a Marine during the Reagan Era, As you know not much went on during that time because other countries feared us. Yet the economy wasn’t a whole lot better thats why I joined the service. We are in a war we cannot win and I agree with pulling our troops out and not sacrificing another life for any mideast Country. This is not a fight for our freedom. It is a war for energy et al money. Close down all bases in every foriegn country as it is unconstitutional. And make our country solvereign again. Wars get the economy going and republicans have banked on that. Jackasses your party is tax tax tax and spend spend spend your party thinks freedom is the right to abort life. What happened to that freedom for that child. Life begins at conception and more babies have been murdered than soldiers killed in every war america has been in. Democrates at one time were moral. So if life and freedom is what we are talking about I could niether be A elephant or Jackass. I guess that is why I am constitution Party. I do agree alot with Ron Paul on many things but he doesn’t take a big enough stand on right to life. Yes our Government is out of control and unfortunately we are heading to a revolution and it won’t be settled thru dialogue as Ron hopes. And I say this because these people in power will not give up that without a physical fight. Mark my words. They love their lifestyle to much and will use yours and my kids to fight to keep it. So enlighten your children and prepare for the worst. We have become a apathetic society. You can tell by how many have signed your petition. Pathetic.

      Sir:
The power players (One World Elites), behind the scenes, use the media to implement their agenda, and that agenda is to “create” a division that pits left against right, Democrat against Republican, all the while, behind the scenes, implementing their one world order plans. Their goal, scary as it seems, is to actually have a REVOLUTION!!! They want us to “disapper” so to speak, they are the illuminated ones and we are the infestation on the earth. Fema Detention Camps are what await us when the revolution starts, because the U.N. troops will be throwing us in there. We need to wake up and understand that we are all Americans and we need to come together or we are doomed. Unfortunately we are on the door step of this happening.

MARKUS, PLEASE NOTE::::::I finally got to respond on your question. Comment made on Dec. 12,09.

    • Markus

      CR 747 and Stan B:
Thank you for your response and insight. I respect your postings and like a different viewpoint to challange my beliefs. Through many years of research, especially with my father who was a history and government professor for 32 years, we have come to the conclusion that there is definitely an elite group of people, namely, the Rockefellers, Rothchilds, Bilderbacks, and also societies, such as the Council on Foreign Relations and The Bilderback Society, all using their influence to shape foreign policy. It is best not to underestimate the power these people have. They are unknown to most because they control the media, and therefore, are not mentioned. These people, through the Progressive movement and using the Federal Reserve to manipulate “the system”, have and will, very soon, take over and institute a “One World Order”. You can see the makings of a “global government” and a one world currency right in front of of our eyes. They use the politicians as pawns, as they sit in the shadows, all the while using various special interest groups to funnel money into their cofers, then they are “leaned” on to implement their agenda. The Media, Oil Corporations, Financial Institutions, all together forming a “Illuminated group”, all the while, calling us, “EATERS”, meaning, basically, “a virus on the earth”. Scary really.
The information I speak of is a collaboration of history, The Bible, and current events combined. By understanding all these together, it creates a picture, a very clear picture, that things are going in a very disturbing direction. I know I sound crazy, believe me, I listen to the words that come out of my mouth, but I KNOW that these things are about to happen, and only through a miracle of God can they be stopped.
This is how I see it coming:
      1)Spend ourselves into hyper inflation
      2)Bankrupt the dollar
      3)Move to a global government and/or currency.
4)More, unfortunately, terror attacks on U.S. soil
5)Natural disasters, such as a big earthquake in California.
      6)Martial Law
7)People, mostly patriots and christians rounded up and put into FEMA Detention Camps, especially those who won’t take the “mark” that I refer to in number 8.
8)Implementation of the ultimate abuse of Government, the micro-chip. “He causeth all both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave to receive a mark in their right hand or forehead, that whoever receivth the mark will be able to buy and sell.” You get the picture.
Crazy, maybe, but with what I’m seeing this past year, nothing seems out of the realm anymore.
I pray everyday that the things I know are wrong. Amos 3:7, “Surely I will do nothing without first revealing it to my servants, the prophets.” Maybe we can get to the mid-term elections next year and make a statement, not only to the politicians, but to God that we truly are a God fearing country.
My Uncle told me when I was a young, “It is better to have wisdom than to be intellegent, though it isn’t bad to be both.”
I hope you have an open mind to what I am speaking of, and also know that it has been a 20 year journey to get here.
      Markus

Markus, I to see everything you see happening. The Bible truly speaks of everything you have stated. The wars, the seasons of the earth, Egypt. Every thing you have stated is in some form of the Bible. I read it regularly, and if you look at what is taking place in America, I,”speaking for myself,” do definitely think that we are living in the end of time. Would like to see more people accept the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ before something like this happens.
Bro. Markus, I can tell from your comments that you to would like to see the same thing happen. I to believe we have people that are members of churches that think they are going to Heaven, but are deceived, and thinking they are a Christian, and thinking that just going to church will get them there. I am sorry that won’t happen. You have got to have a personal experience with God before you can enter into Heaven. A personal relationship is there for those who believe and will accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

        May God Bless You.!!!!!1

Cr: I had a feeling you were “abreast” of the times we are in. Good to see the “veil that I will put over their eyes” isn’t upon everyones. Do you see an acceleration happening when you look at the current events we are dealing with? Also, in Matthew 24 (don’t have my Bible handy) it says, “If time were not spend up, even the elect would be spared.” Do you believe, as I do, that time, in its actual state is speeding up? I believe that God is speeding up time in order to get through this “tribulation period” faster. When you read the context of Matthew 24, is all about what to be looking for in the “return of Jesus.” Time is going faster, period. Actually going faster. Kids even say that it is going fast. Not when we were young, I’m 42 and it crawled by when I was younger.
I agree with you that one must have a personal relationship with God, because how can you know what he wants for you when you aren’t in “communication” with him? Every relationship relies upon communication to enhance it and allow it too further along. If you rely on this world to make you happy then you are doomed. “If you are of the world then you are not of God”.
          Merry Christmas!

Bro. Markus, It seems weird to read what you have just stated above. The very same thought past through my mind . I could almost close my eyes and tell what you where saying, word for word. Bro Markus read Matthew 24 verses 1-14. Also read Matthew 24 verses 29-31. Yes I believe time is moving faster daily. I am so thankful that as a lad of 11 years old God came into my heart, and I haven’t looked back. Like you, when I was younger seems as though time would drag by, but now as you say,”time flies by.”
My prayers are with all our soldiers fighting over seas, and that people who haven’t had a relationship with God, would get into a good Bible teaching church, and become one of God’s children. I feel time is drawing closer and closer.

May God bless you and yours, and also for Stan B. Merry Christmas!!!!

Took a break from politics and took my wife on a cruise. I would really recommend it to anyone. We should take a break from politics, unwind, rest and re-group…no phones, no news, just enjoy some of the beauty of the world while we still can. I believe the refreshing effect of any vacation enables us to see the old situation with a new and different perspective. I say this because the issues we have been discussing in these comments are…deadly serious and do affect the lives of everyone on the planet. For this reason I believe we all need a break in order to gain some balance and sanity in dealing with the multi-headed beast. Yes Markus & cr747, scriptual passages are undeniably lining up with world events as they unfold… as fortold! As for me, there was a thirty year gap before I was able to connect the facts in “THE BATTLE FOR THE MIND” (by Tim LaHaye) the BIBLE (by GOD) and “THE CREATURE FROM JEKYLL ISLAND” (by G.Edward Griffin) In fact I would venture to say that Griffin himself is probably not fully aware of the connections. Having said that, out of respect for his integrity I would not put anything past Mr.Griffin. I believe that egardless of our views, opinions, philosophies and beliefs, God will not be left out of the picture. I think the key is, to learn to exercise wisdom effectively by introducing scriptual solutions by first establishing a common ground on which to base our discussions.

      CR747 & Stan B:
Vacation? What is that? Kidding…Definitely good to get away from the insanity of the news everyday, for sure. Matthew 24 is all about the “end times”, and what to look for when the time of Christ’s return is at hand. I believe we are in the “beginning of birth pangs” and the nasty stuff is about to start. I’m going to go a bit deeper now and want you two too let me know what you think.
One World Order Elites, through the media, are pitting us against each other, Dem’s vs. Repub’s, Libs against Conserv., in order to bring about contrived chaos for the declaration of Martial Law. They call us “eaters”, a virus upon the earth and want us dead. Now here comes the bomb, they want Martial Law so that they can throw us into the Fema Detention Camps and, well, basically another holocaust. The micro-chip (Mark of the Beast) will be forced and those that refuse will die a martyr for Christ.
What do you think about that? Sort of fits Matthew 24. “Stand fast 10 days, you will be imprisoned for my name.” Along with many, many other references to list here…Curious?
Christmas was great, family, friends and lots of food from the banquet of God’s grace!!! Man, God is Great!!!

Well put Markus, and right on the money…pardon the unintentional pun.
Obama has secretly,(to minimize unecessary media coverage) amended (Ronald Reagan’s) EXECUTIVE ORDER 12425. Which means, in effect, that foreign militia & police will eventually have more authority over American citizens than our own police.
And it is reported that there are an alleged 200-300,000 UN/Interpol personnel already on American soil, and, of course, the foreign militia will have no qualms about arresting and interning American citizens for opposing the “Socialist” regime.
It remains to be seen as to how the Obama regime, under the NWO directives, plans to effectively discredit our OWN troops and police? This situation has become so insidious that I believe we are about to face the ultimate enemy manifesting itself in the flesh! It cannot be denied that the unfolding global events are definately substantiating scripture.
Has anyone done any research on the FEMA camps issue?

The Key Here Is Not What Man Speaks It’s What Has The LORD G-D Spoken Concerning This As I Assure You, Nothing Will Be Achieved With Out HIS Permission/Guidance/Assistance/Help. I Have Bad News For You As Well As Good News. To Make It As Short And To The Point As Possible I Will Try To Be Succinct. It Is Written That Jacob Will Be Saved Up Out Of It But Not Before A Great Punishment Is Instituted For Their Sins! I Have Much Written On This Subject And You Would Be Not Only Greatly Surprised, But In Awl And Wonderment If I Were To Let You Read It Nor Could You Argue In Favor Of A Different Meaning As It Is As Plain As Black And White.
You Could Argue The Subject And These Words Don’t Belong In This Forum But You Would Be Wrong As G-D Should Be A Major Factor In All Our Criteria We Do. It Is The Reason The Left Wishes To Remove It From Our Schools First To Warp The Mind While It Is Young And Impressionable. The Left Also Knows If You Were To Implement/Follow The Lord G-D’S Guidance And Instructions Then Many Of Their Antics Wouldn’t Have Succeeded Nor Will Continue To Succeed In Todays Society! I Certainly Hope The Editors Will Print This And Be Afraid Of The LORD G-D And HIS Words/Ways Rather Than Men And Their Words/Ways. If I Had The Opportunity, Understanding How To Accomplish It, And The Means Available I Would Create A Section On The Internet To Write All The Instruction And Knowledge Gained Through Out The Years For Everyone, Free Of Charge, Including Criteria That Has Been Hidden Since The Beginning Of Time And Has Only Been Made Accessible To Certain Chosen People To Which They Deemed Noteworthy. I Don’t Think The LORD G-D Intended It To Be This Way (Hidden From All But Made Available To Whom They Chose) But Rather This Criteria Was For Everyone To Learn!
May The LORD G-D Bless You And Keep You,

    A Servant-Messenger-Prophet
