Wasn’t part of Obama’s CHANGE, close out the war and bring our troops home. I think he just renamed the military that was in Iraq., Looks like there is more problems in the East than Obama can handle. Now we will be short of oil! Is this too bring the American people too look at Obama’s “green program”? WE NEED TOO DRILL AND GET OFF FOREIGN OIL! NOW!
The cost of oil will bring up the cost of everything on the market. NO jobs! This will put more truckers out of business! Why worry! We have the MEXICAN TRUCKS ALL OVER THE U.S.A.
THEY CAN NOW BRING IN MORE DRUGS AND ILLEGALS,
    GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY

    • Varian Wrynn

You’re right – the “combat” troops are now “advisory” troops carrying out the same mission, but since we no longer have any combat troops in Iraq, the war is over. Just saw a show on History Channel called “10 ways to Kill Osama bin Laden” – Obama stepped up the drone strikes from Bush’s 1-2 per month to one every day. So you’re right again – Obama has stepped up the war dramatically.

Now here’s a theory I cam up with several years ago that has been confirmed by an ex-NORAD insider (sounds like a conspiracy already) – the US plans on using up all the foreign oil while minimizing domestic use. Once theirs is all used up, we continue our way of life rich in oil. Too bad the economy is collapsing faster than the foreign oil supply.

With the gas prices soaring, This is the ideal time to start the move, Bring Oil drilling to the USA.
The grass roots support is ”now” more ready and motivated than ever.

    1. It will bring gas prices down and increase revenue for the USA in huge measures.
    2. It will increase jobs for our nation in large measures.
    3. It will decrease revenue for the Muslim nations, which supports Terrorism around the world.
    4. It will give our conservative leaders the biggest campaign cannon fodder of all times.
    5. Bargaining power for our nation for the present and a huge amount for the future.
    6. Property values, additional manufacturing, etc.
    7. This would be the catalyst that brings manufacturing back to—- Made in the USA.

Just saw a show on NatGeo on oil drilling – over 2000 new oil wells are drilled every month in Texas. Amazing!

The current ‘prez’ suffers from what some call the ‘best and the brightest’ syndrome. Some want us to worship people who are supposedly the cream of the crop. These people tend to get America into situations that are Trojan Horses (Korea, Vietnam, the current mess in Iraq and Afghanistan).
It’s almost amusing that the current prez could find ways to adopt an issue that he pretended to hate when GB was in the White House. Now, it’s more like an addiction. So much for the ‘best and the brightest.’
Someone who has lots of common sense and a healthy distrust of three-letter groups and professional advisors should do a much better job. Besides, the idea of “making the world safe for democracy” needs to be seen for the pure crap that it’s always been.
Bubba Obummer is just another pretender. He’s a poser. He says what others tell him to say. He does what he’s told.
THAT is the diametric opposite of leadership, people. See it, smell it, and deal with it. Flush it. It’s bad for your physical and mental health.

I really like this guy he makes a lot of sense,it was disgrace the way he was treated in 2008.

    • RUK

      Yes, me too.
What amazes me is that I am lifelong democrat with a PhD in a technical field. Common sense is pretty sexy, is it not?

  • Chitown

The GOP can’t believe how strong Paul is among the young conservatives. When are they going to listen to him?

    AUDIT THE FEDERAL RESERVE.

  • s c

Chitown, when mice can breed with elephants, that’s when rockhead GOP-types will listen. As for the Fed, what matters is to SOLVE the problem.
Auditing the Fed WON’T solve the problem. The only way to deal with the Fed is to ABORT the damned thing.
Auditing it will do nothing but let it continue to be a wealth-draining cancer. We’d probably get a much better deal if we were dealing with organized crime. Fed puppet masters are not to be trusted, Chitown. Kill the Fed. Bury it. ABORT it. SOLVE
    the problem.

    • http://YAHOO.COM FRENCHIE

TRUE ENOUGH, SC, TRUE ENOUGH. HOWEVER, AN AUDIT WILL BRING OUT THE EVIDENCE NEEDED TO KILL IT ONCE & FOR ALL. WHEN CLEAR CUT, UNDENIABLE EVIDENCE OF FOUL PLAY IS BROUGHT TO LIGHT FOR ALL TO SEE, IT WOULD BE POLITICAL SUICIDE FOR ANY POLITICIAN TO OPPOSE ABOLISHING THE FED. THEY’RE STARTING TO REALIZE WE’RE FED UP WITH THEIR SH!T & WE REALIZE WE CAN ACTUALLY FIRE THESE BOZO’S AT WILL COME ELECTION TIME. SO LET ‘EM AUDIT THE FED, THEN SIT BACK & LAUGH WHEN IT GETS SHUT DOWN BECAUSE OF THE EVIDENCE THE AUDIT BROUGHT TO LIGHT.

      • s c

Frenchie, the puppet masters who control the Fed have had since 1913 to become so deeply entrenched that it might take a civil war to root out the bastards and for us to begin to think things can change. When someone (or a group) has a stranglehold on a nation’s money supply, good intentions will not help.
You’re probably old enough to know that politicians do not change their ways. I hope you’re right, but I suspect you don’t appreciate the strength of the evil that America has had to endure since the Fed was ALLOWED to have control of our money supply. It is no different than surrendering it to a foreign military force. They OWN politicians. They OWN many people in America. In effect, they have OWNED America since 1913.
They will not go away because we want them gone. They don’t have to fight us because if it comes to blows and violence, they have an already-made ‘army’ to protect them and put us in ‘our place.’
Ask Bob Livingston. Try to ask Ron Paul.

        • meteorlady

There’s a reason the Bildenburg group meets sometimes twice a year, but always once a year. They don’t just have dinner and a nice glass of wine then go home. These are the world leaders, bankers and the federal reserve chairman and Obama himself. What do they talk about, what do they do. Read as much history as you can find about them. They are evil and have run this country since 1913…..

  • Donald D Jones ww2 vet

Lets see how this works? The United States Treasury over seen by the
Congress to recieve and distribute funds to each department as prescribed by the House of Represenatives . The Treasury takes over the printing presses and operates under the managment of the Government. The Treasury is to be audited each year by the Government
and that audit is to be published. All Government funds are under the jurisdiction of the U S Treasury, all lones to foreign governments wil be at the descretion of the Congress each year by a committee and a bill passed by the House and Senate , signed by the President.
We could go on and on to solve our financial problems but this is a start as to how it would work, with out a foreign federal reserve control of our money

  • http://windows russ prater

I read the other day an article about oil reserves.Aparently America has the largest oil reserves in the world and can be reached now due to new drilling advances.Alaska and Wyoming are supposed to have huge oil reserves.I say it is time to drill…..drill…….drill.America.This will create jobs lessen our dependance on the middle east and boost our economy.

    • http://Google Steve Lawrence

2 comments, #1, On Russ’s oil comment. I believe that indeed WE do have enough oil in the states to solve the entire ‘big oil’ problem! That and the many alternative fuel/fuel additive/fuel ‘recomposition’ devices’, etc. are already here. The ‘big oil’ monoliths are buying our politicians ‘ears’ and ‘mouths’ to keep hem in business. This can be said about the ‘drug’ monoliths as well… too many others to count can be added. #2, On Frenchie’s statement. “For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.” was said a long time ago and still remains true today! The populace has been ‘engineered’ unable to perceive the manipulations of not only the Fed., but the U.S. government as well. Our public schools have been manipulated by those who wish to “Train up (our children) in the way they should go, and they will not depart from those ways when they are old” (a slight take from another old statement). We The People, must retake our children’s education from their earliest cognizance, till they are of age to be an honest civilian in these states. This is a hurdle that has been designed to be too high to jump by the average person! There are so many twisted turns to take, it is almost impossible to not go off track! Because these states are no longer ‘united’ by a common moral principle, We have become ‘disunited’, and therefore more easily divided. Such has been the case for many a millennium! Help awake others of this insidious global plan of the ‘New World Order’! Adolph tried it, Nebuchadnezzar tried it, Nimrod tried it, and last but not least the serpent of old is still trying it! Science may have “proven” the Bible is incorrect, but what ‘absolutes’ are they spinning upon us to validate their stance? Many pieces of the puzzle must be taken into consideration before a wise decision can be made and purported. I still have much to learn, but with these discussions we are uncovering ‘hidden’ truths that will set us free again!

    • meteorlady

I have voted for him every election. He is getting stronger, but the news media loves to portray him as a far right nut case. He does have an amazing cadre of people that follow him and I hope some day he will finally make it. He should wage and internet war, not try and get through the mainstream media, they fear him. He’s our savior and the final nail in the coffin of NWO.

  • http://Google Steve Lawrence

Reply to Frenchie-(etal), vote with your ‘whole heart’, as I said the pledge of allegiance in elementary school in my young years, i STILL adhere to these lofty ideas the founders spoke then. The same human spirit is upon us still as was a generation ago, , , . ‘The song remains the same’…. one might say, but how can we the “SOVERIGN’, again be SOVERIGN! These territories must once again become independent from one anoher, BUT respecting the other “States” Constitutional stance! ‘Independence through unity’ might be a rally cry, but more so, let us remember, our founding era. The “king” of England was ‘sovereign’ over the settlers. The reliance upon the True King (YHWH) was more wide spread, O.K. Not every one believed that premise.. but think about it for a bit! If there are no absolutes, then nothing is absolute! Then the old adage of ‘do what thou wilt as the whole law’ will bemoan the whole earth. I still believe that “Love thy neighbor” is valid, though tough indeed, I’m of a stance that wishes to enlighten my, and thereby protect, my neighbors from unwarranted “intrusions’ against their ‘territory’-(BIG concept!)- and be of like mind toward hem. I may very much disagree with their behavior, but if there is no ‘intrusion’, I best re-think my ‘territory’! (I have difficulty in that one!) But if … “We The People” realize the bounds our “Law of The Land” has upon our legislators, we’d be breathing unrestrained from the same encroachment the old king had upon us! I do not encourage civil disobedience! But the ‘law enforcement’ agencies are no longer of the “Andy Griffith” type! But I could fill pages… My ‘rant’ is about self discipline! “Can’t we just get along?” It was said a time ago, I’ll have to agree, “In times like these…” The rest is history, or… IS IT NOW! “READ THE CONSTITUTION”, not just of the 1776 wording, but of the 1986 concepts, And… Pray for GODs mercies! Steve L.

We The People & Our Beloved Republic will be in grave danger if “A True American Patriot” with a sincere passion for Freedom & Individual Liberty doesn’t take office in 2012.. The same group of people that assinated JFK are the NWO A-holes that are in control to this very day today.. Anyone here ever read “The Protacols of the Illuminati”??..It’s been esttimated to be about a 150yo document laying out the same social engineering plan that we’re seeing today!..BTW, google “illuminati” backwards & put “.com” on the end & your jaw will drop when you see what website pops up in the top three google search results.. Very Creepy!..

My Fellow Americans, The Most Dangerous Terror Threat To The U.S.A Aren’t Coming From A Foreign Land.. Our Most Dangerous Terror Threat Is Sitting In Some, If Not All, Of The Most Powerful Positions Of Our Government Dismantling our Constitution & Our Country & Their Moving Faster & Faster Everyday!

They Know That We’re WAKING UP & Their Speeding Up Their Agenda Each & Everyday!!

Yes I agree where are the leaders here Why only one man
Mr Paul speaking up I fear the powers in control will kill
      him.

Ron Paul for President ? The majority of voters are stupid. What makes you think they want Ron Paul ? Or they want to get rid of the Fed ? HA HA !

You conservatives need to infiltrate the “Fed” and the “BuildaBurger” groups. If you all join the Democratic Party then you could neutralize it.

Conservatives can’t compete effectively against the “liberals” because they are dumber and naive in the political arena. That’s why America’s status quo is libtard. Most voters are libtards too.

Most Conservatives are so stupid they pay the “libtards” (thru taxes) to reproduce more “libtards”…

Anyhow, Ron Paul is only going to be allowed to go so far. His prominence right now is just enuff’ to stop you conservatives from going “John Galt” on the libtards …

You all need to go “John Galt” on the libtards – Shut the whole crazy system down just like in “Atlas Shrugged”. You conservatives won’t do it because you like being victims and whining about how the libtards treat you …

Ok, I’m done – we got our TV privileges back this week here in the mental hospital ! I’m going to go watch some Star Trek …

  • Cathy

The SMART voters would love to have Ron Paul as President and the FED ended. Most Americans ARE stupid, or should I say clueless. They all know who won the most recent American Idol…and probably all the winners…and what celebrity is screwing around on their mate, but most of them don’t even know who their senators are, what party is the majority in the House and/or Senate, etc.

People get the government they deserve and deserve the government they get.

  • Commonsense

As mentioned earlier on this site, we do have vast oil reserves and as far as alternative forms of fuel go, we do have the technology. I have run pure high grade ethanol in my 1999 ford F-350 with a 6.8ltr engine in it for over 10,000 miles and the only change I saw was in power and mileage- they improved. There is too much propaganda that is false about how harmful pure ethanol is. If you want to bring OPEC and the middle east tom their knees, drill our reserves, flood the market and bring oil prices down to $10 dollars a barrel. Their only real export would then cost more to ship than it would be worth. He or she that can manipulate the worlds’ economy can control the world. The U.S. is one of the countries who can. We have it all, Ag, oil, coal, ng. Now all we are missing is a government that is Pro-American, not pro-other countries, who will run trade agreements as a business instead of a womens’ bonding retreat. We also need people in our government that won’t take kickbacks and special treats from special interests and lobbyists. And last but not least, to all you tree hugging, global warming tale telling, wolf hugging, sheep who want to villianize the U.S., if making the U.S. the best world power it can be with an economy second to none makes you ill and you don’t like it, then I’m here to help you as well. First, you will have to send me your citizenship so I can repeal it.Second, I will send you a one way plane ticket to any country of your choosing as soon as you sign an agreement that you will never, ever come back again.

      CAN I HEAR AN ” AMEN !!! ” ?

  • s c

I was hoping to get a definitive response from this site’s rockheads who defend anything and everything the current prez says and does. It seems that they line up to defend The Anointed One ONLY when they’re told to do so.
Doesn’t it seem reasonable that if Obummer was a ‘great leader’ when he was busy defending his “anti-Bush war stance,” then Obummer must be a world class BUM, now that he’s waffled?
Come on, rockheads. You CAN’T have it both ways. When your World Teacher comes in with a dyed-in-the-wool position on a war, and then reverses himself, then WHAT IS HE? You get what you pay for, eh? Like the old saying goes, ‘there’s a progressive sucker born every second.’
It must be one hell of a long line.

  • bigfootthechipmunk

We wouldn’t need so many laws if people would govern themselves. I am still not sure about marijuana. I guess maybe the problem my daughter has been having falls under other laws as well.

Her neighbor, in apartments, smokes weed a couple times a day. He smokes it in his bathroom with the vent fan on. This sends much of the fumes into my daughter and her room mates apartment… their bathroom and bedroom. They have been feeling sick, having headaches, and even feeling “not with it” at school and work… endangering their driving? This guy smoking marijuana is infringing on their rights, is it not?

As far as using it for medicinal needs, I asked about this half jokingly when I was being informed about what to expect from my chemo. There are various other ways to get the benefits of cannabis without smoking. The smoking is the problem in this instance as well.

If people would govern themselves, then maybe they would only be hurting themselves, but when their “freedom” infringes on someone else’s freedom to breath, sleep, and live in fresh air, then someone else needs to govern them. That is why we have laws.

I tell my kids this, “If you don’t want other people telling you what to do all the time, then govern yourself.”

  • bigfootthechipmunk

By the way… I agree with pretty much everything RP says.
