Quick Health Tip: Drink More Water!

September 22, 2008 by

75 percent of Americans are chronically dehydrated. In 35 percent of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger. Most of the time when we are eating, we should be drinking water—even more so as we get older.

Even mild dehydration will slow down one’s metabolism as much as 3 percent. One glass of water shuts down hunger pains.

Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue. Research indicates that 8 to 10 glasses of water a day can significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80 percent of sufferers.

8 to 10 glasses of water a day will reduce the risk of colon cancer, breast cancer and bladder cancer.

We have read many documents by medical doctors, PhD’s and other scientist to believe that drinking alkaline-ionized water can help.

Look at the info on http://www.kangenwaterworld.us and call me if you want to know more.

I’d love to drink the water but it has toxic fluoride in it.  Any suggestions on where I can find an affordable filter that will remove the fluoride for me?  I just realized my Brita filters don’t remove the fluoride so now I’m back to square one again.

I have a Waterwise distiller/purifier at home and it’s the best I’ve ever come across. The water is so clear and delicious. You don’t taste any of the chlorine. It removes most toxics, minerals, parasites, bacteria, etc. It is kind of pricey, but over time, it pays for itself, so definately worth it for your health. Here’s the link:

the only filter that removes fluoride from the water is a Big Berkey (American Berkefeld) with PF-2 fluoride/arsenic reduction elements. Personally, we have a stainless Big Berkey with these filters and not only is the water so pure, it makes the best coffee, tea, and water to cook with that you have ever tasted. By removing the fluoride, we have experienced so many healing effects, not the least of which our dog’s cataracts have improved. You can find the PF-2′s at: http://www.disasterstuff.com/store/pc/Berkey-PF2-Fluoride-Arsenic-Reduction-Element-2-Pack-20p79.htme or Google for yourself. You may have to buy the Berkey at another site; I just found the PF-2′s at a lower price of $55.00. Expect to pay between $200 – $250 for the Berkey itself with a couple of the black filters in the above tank and the PF-2′s (for removing fluoride) in the bottom tank. This REALLY does work. I make NOTHING from this except the pleasure of knowing that I have helped someone improve their lifestyle/healthstyle. Everyone I have recommended the Berkey too has LOVED IT. Oh, another benefit: ever since we started using a Berkey with the PF-2′s, we don’t have any so-called “tartar” build up on the back of our bottom front teeth anymore. In fact, what we had WHEN we bought the Berkey, disappeared from off our teeth in a few months and has not returned in over 3 years now.

I love it! ( your post, just what I was thinking… among many other chemicals as well).

Please seriously consider getting a good water distiller
rather than a good filter. Think of it this way. When you
distil you lift the water away from all the impurities by
converting it to steam and then convert the steam back
      into water.

Also, although I have not yet purchased a hydrogen stick
from what I have read I have decided to try one. For details
google hydrogenwater stick and then visit one of several
distributors offering it. You will be impressed with the technology
behind this product and the health benefits in using a modified
water able to penetrate into our cells to do the ultimate good
      intended by our Creator.

When you distill water, you lift it away from all the needed minerals and electrolytes your body requires to function properly.

If you buy a distiller, make sure you purchase electrolytes to put back into it when the water is finished with the process of being distilled.

    Hello all,

Email me for information on water which, if you act on it, you will change your life. You will not only enjoy drinking water…you will be able to drink enough of it to change your body! I came across this information over 20 years ago, let naysayers discourage me about the truthfulness of it and have lived for 20 more years (needlessly) of not drinking enough water…and that that I did drink was from tap or bottled. You can find decent bottled water, but it is so terribly adding to the pollution of our world. People are worrying about global warming…they’d better worry about the amount of plastics we fill the earth with.
