President Phony

With his poll numbers plummeting, President Barack Hussein Obama used some of the last days before he departs for another multimillion-dollar vacation to try to deflect attention away from the scandals that have defined his tenure in the Oval Office. According to the President: “With an endless distraction of political posturing and phony scandals and Lord knows what, Washington keeps taking its eye off the ball.”

While his Thursday remarks do not represent the first time a Democrat has tried to minimize the damage Obama’s mendacity has done to his credibility, they do beg a rather obvious question: To which scandal was he referring?

In trying to hide from the consequences of his failures, Obama issued a blanket “phony.” But last week, his press secretary, Jay Carney, used “phony” to describe the Obama Administration’s very real deployment of the Internal Revenue Service as a political weapon. That particular assault on liberty began in Cincinnati and has now stretched all the way to the White House Counsel’s office — all despite a series of paper-thin denials from the President and his accomplices. However, given that the scandal is actually currently growing, I’m not sure “phony” works in this scenario.

Back in May, at a joint conference with a visibly uncomfortable British Prime Minister David Cameron, Obama called the continuing probe into the Administration’s ever-changing narrative on the Benghazi, Libya, massacre and subsequent cover-up a “sideshow” borne of “political motivations.” I suppose the murder of four Americans was political — at least from the terrorists’ perspective. And there’s no doubt that the decision to throw Ambassador Susan Rice under the bus following her YouTube2012 tour was absolutely political. Throw in the fact that Obama allegedly missed the whole thing because he was busy grubbing for cash in Las Vegas, and I suppose you have a sideshow. But there is no doubt that Benghazi happened, so “phony” doesn’t really apply.

Attorney General Eric Holder has recently developed distaste for violence, as evidenced by pronouncements to the NAACP in the wake of the acquittal of assault victim George Zimmerman on murder charges. However, Holder was found in contempt of Congress for his repeated fabrications and stonewalling regarding the disastrous Operation Fast and Furious, a so-called “gun walking” program that cost the lives of two Federal agents and hundreds of Mexicans while arming narcoterrorists at our expense. Operation Fast and Furious and its subsequent fallout certainly meet the definition of “scandal,” but certainly do not meet the definition of “phony.”

The National Security Agency eavesdrops on Americans without cause. The Justice Department wiretaps, hacks and surveils journalists. Hell, your name was probably red-flagged for visiting We live in an era during which the President of the United States has declared war on the Bill of Rights. Our resistance to his tyrannical aspirations is “politically motivated,” but it is hardly “phony.”

The best is missed – Obama stated the amnesty bill would improve the economy by $1 trillion & nobody held his feet to the fire!

The criminal aliens have been here for years, doing what criminals do! They aren’t producing anything “new”! 11 to 30 million aliens have thrown that many citizens out of work into unemployment, subsidies, bankruptcy, homelessness and
part time employment at a cost to the economy of $1.5 to $2.7 trillion (11 to 20 million basis)! Helping government themselves helps no one else!

Between BLS’s June 12 million unemployed and 7 million wanting jobs (19M total), plus the employees working 34.5 hrs., instead of 40, another 23 million equivalent jobs and wages are lost, and the grand total excess work force
        balloons to 42 million (27%).

Our executive-legislative officers are in the process of giving amnesty and citizenship to 11 million to 30 million criminal illegal alien invaders who are being protected from prosecution plus subsidized $402/yr billion by government!
Daily activity of tax evasion, ID theft, evading workmens com, unemployment comp etc, are VERY AGGRESSIVELY PROSECUTED SERIOUS CRIMES… if the violator is a citizen. Criminal aliens and their organized crime employers aren’t prosecuted. They’re rewarded with $402 billion subsidies ($36,545 ea @ 11 million) to flood the labor supply and drive down US wages to a point where the US can “theoretically” compete with global slave labor, (China, etc.)!

Think about it – a government that sets poverty levels at $23,000+ wages is demonically engaged in creating illusions that lazy citizens won’t work ((shhhh) for $6/hr cash $12,480/yr), while government’s $6/hr “mercenaries”
really receive $12,480+$36,545=$49,025 tax free! That equals a $65,367 taxable wage @ 25% basis!

If a 34.4 hour Dec., 2012 BLS average is $42,537, a full time 40 hour $49,462 wage is lost to unemployment ($37,096 take home pay after $12,365 tax). 30% FICA, workmen’s & unemployment comp ($14,839) is
lost. That’s $64,300 of take-home pay and government tax
revenue lost. Joblessness means subsidies, (if the same $36,545 as aliens – some lots more & some lots less) the cost jumps to $100,845 each/yr for the jobless citizen. Add the illegal alien subsidy & the total jumps to $137,391… smells a lot like a range of $1.5 to $2.7 trillion per year at 11 to 20 million illegal aliens! It’s an average cost illustration using government’s financial data applied to their claimed 11 million minimum to who knows what!

Our executive-legislative-judicial officers openly violate oath of office, law, and Constitution to protect tax evading aliens and their tax evading employers. The economy isn’t stuck in a
muddy recession. The nation is being overthrown, collapsed from within, looted, and reduced to impotence! Treason is a capital offense because inevitably millions are killed, plundered, and reduced to subservience!

        • Alondra

48,000 Americans have been murdered by ILLEGAL aliens since 9/11

How much it costs to Taxpayers to prosecute them, keep them in jails and deport?

Hey, it fits. Phony scandals from a phony president. Everything about this scumbag is phony. Just think, he doesn’t have to search any further for his legacy. It will be all of the phoniness connected with the biggest lair in the history of the US. All the way from his BC to his latest whatever. President Obama has nearly tied Ronald Reagan as the Ultimate Teflon President—nothing sticks to either the current resident of the White Guy’s House or the dead back-stabbing one whose rotting corpse fouls the air for miles around Seamy Valley.

The only reason the vastly-overrated Obama does not usurp Raygun’s White Ceramic Throne as the Greatest Scandal-dodger is because most of Obama’s scandals are just, well….not scandals…

There is no IRS scandal, despite the fevered and frothy fomenting from Faux and the Fright Wing. ALL types of groups —from the Left Wing to the Wrong Wing—were given closer scrutiny when applying for tax-exempt status—IT’S THE LAW. The same IRS BOLO list which tabbed “conservative” and “patriot” applications ALSO tabbed “occupy” and “progressive”—but 99% of you angry and misled non-readers do not know that because you get most of your “information” by sucking the carbon monoxide from the Faux Noose tailpipe.

Sad to say, but most all of you are really simple and lacking the sort of curious, inquisitive mind that uses Reason and Logic, rather than Emotion and Myth, to PROGRESS from the tar pit of bassackward and fear-based non-thinking.

Because of this mental deficit, you find your anodyne in the easy, soothing answers to the mysteries of Life, the ones that FIT your myopic worldview.
Fox News is WONDERFUL at that: they use your nostalgia for that good old America—the one which beat Black veterans returning from WW2 because they wanted to vote, the one in which God & Consumerism went hand-in-hand with Red-Lining and Dropping Atomic Bombs on Sleeping Children Without Batting an Eye—to distance yourself from the groundswell of Human Progress. They exhort their simple audience to “take OUR country back”—back to wha? Sister Lick, Alabama, circa 1946? Back to when Black people and women knew their place? When kicking queers was a right of passage?

Just once, use the remote control that God provided you with to explore a little beyond the confines and the security of the news, ideas, and opinions that you wallow in—I, and most of the Enlightened People of the Left that I know, do this. We look around—even, and ESPECIALLY, when it is not comfortable. Sometimes even FOX NEWS corrects something that I had wrong! That is learning. You people seem to think that learning means listening to the same people with the same ideas, the Fright Wing squawking points you so often parrot, the ones that come out in your emotional and energetic, yet ultimately ridiculous, postings.

Like the ‘scandals’ you scream and whine and wheeze about. There IS no IRS scandal. Benghazi was a chaotic terror situation half-way around the world (of which the Cheneybush Regime produced many more of, resulting in the loss of about 59 people!). President Obama is not installing the Muslim Brotherhood on K Street, and he was never a member of the Symbionese Liberation Army.

Yeah, President Obama has slipped through some trying times—-some of his own poor judgemnet and most merely the nocturnal emissions from the dark mind of the Reich Wing. If you really want to unearth his scandals, find out why, in the end, he is just another Main Street Capitalist, intent only on keeping this creaking old system afloat. Better than most presidents, sure, but far removed from true Progressive leader that will lead us out of the darkness.

And not as scandalous, certainly, as that old back-stabbing pig, Reagan, who, in between trading arms-for-hostages and arms-for-drugs, lay flowers at the tomb of Nazi SS officers at Bitburg, proclaiming the SS to have been (and here I quote the evil Reagan himself) “victims, just as surely as the victims in the concentration camps.” While my governor, Reagan wished an epidemic of botulism to strike the very children he was sworn to PROTECT!!

Now, THAT was one scandalous pig! Obama has nothing on him….

    • garygerke

      What a bunch of crapola!

    • oldguy

Oh, man. Do I ever feel better now that a California resident has stated that there are no scandals. Whew, all those people in the IRS who said their orders came from “high up” were lying. Benghazi was really about a youtube video that nobody watched. Calling all conservatives mentally deficient really makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. While not offering any proof of his claims just the fact that he says “there are no scandals” should make us all want to hug a tree.
It’s people like you who point fingers and accuse without offering any proof or giving any solutions other than waiting for a “true Progressive leader that will lead us out of the darkness” that are making this country what it is today. It’s your liberal education and dumbing down that is the problem, sir. While your punctuation and spelling are spot on, your logic defies description. Just like the president, just because you say nothing happened it’s supposed to be true and all us dumb ol’ country boy folks are just supposed to throw our hands in the air and go back to plowin’. And to think, folks like you vote and drive. Scary stuff.

    • denise0513

Wow! thank you Alex for letting me know that not only am I mentally deficient but I watch Fox News and I have all the wrong info on Benghazi, the IRS, Fast n Furious and the Muslim Brotherhood. What the hell would I do without you? I would continue to NOT watch Fox News and research independently. I would forget that Obama covered Holder’s ass when he refused to answer to congress about Fast n Furious and people died under that program. I would forget the IRS just stated they would begin investigating whether or not the IRS profiled groups with the name Progressive or Occupy in it and just accept they had done it already. I would forget Benghazi was the place where guns were being rounded up from Libyan rebels to be sent (Clinton wanted Gaddafi gone) to Syrian rebels who have sworn their allegiance to Al Qaeda, the same people who want Americans dead. I would deny that 4 Americans were killed in Benghazi and Obama did NOTHING. I would forget about how Holder is looking into Zimmerman for possible civil rights violations but FAILED to prosecute the New Black Panthers that intimidated people at polls and stated that “crackers and their babies needed to die” (no civil rights problems there nor any hate crime). I would forget the many Muslim Brotherhood members now employed through the White House. I would forget that Obama has done almost everything he can to destroy my Constitution of the United States. I would forget Obama stated “if Congress doesn’t act, I will.” Just toss that statement because we all know the Constitution gives him the power. NOT!
Guess what? I do believe all those things as I have researched on my own and NOT allowed ANY person to tell me what happened. The more Obama fights the investigation into any of these atrocities, the guiltier he becomes. Only a PHONY president would call the scandals phony!

      • Vis Fac

I beg to differ we haven’t had a decent POTUS since Reagan. Like it or not our economy BOOMED under Reagan I was able to start and grow my engineering firm. Opportunities opened up that were completely closed during Carter’s administration allowed me to hire close to 100 employees. Our military was strong and Reagan took no crap from anyone (not like “I can be more flexible in my second term” nonsense) and proved it. You might recall when Reagan was inaugurated Iran freed our embassy hostages they knew what Reagan was capable of doing and willing to do. American medical students on Grenada were rescued post haste and a Panamanian dictator was removed. Taxes were lowered and the economy soared. We all can agree that no one is perfect but some are less perfect than others. Reagan was the right man at the right time. If you aren’t the success you want to be you needn’t look no further than yourself. You have (or had) the ability to forge the life you want all you needed to do was APPLY yourself instead you wanted someone else to do the work for you. ODUMBO is not going to give you what you want he will take what HE wants from you.

        • Jack

What you said is a perfect example of some of the things that Alex was talking about. Your memory of the Reagan years is distorted. In other words you have accepted as true the propaganda that has been spread and have forgotten what really happened those many years ago.
I won’t take time to address all of the things that you incorrectly say about the Reagan era but here are a few:
          1. Reagan did nothing but cut and run when the 200 plus marines were killed when their barracks were blown up in Lebanon.
          2. Reagan decreased taxes once but increased them over ten times on the middle class.
          3. In Reagan’s first term unemployment went up to
some 10% and the economy was in a recession. Reagan turned the economy around by massive federal spending including large increases in the number of government employees. In fact he took the federal debt from under 1 trillion dollars to some 3 trillion.
          4. Reagan’s campaign people made a deal with Iran that prevented the hostages from being released for several months – in return Reagan promised to rearm Iran by selling them things they needed to maintain their military. Ever hear of the Iran/Contra scandal? Its
where the Reagan administration took money from arm sales to Iran and illegally used it to support the Contra

You have the right to believe whatever you want. I think what Alex was trying to show you was that it I best if what you believe is actually based upon the true facts and not on the fiction that others put out to convince you things were one way when they were not that way at all.

          • Vis Fac

Your memory is distorted FIRST of all I am a Marine and know better than you why we pulled out of Lebanon. The area has been a quagmire of violence for centuries The Marine’s mission was one of peacekeeping and support and Regan knew we could not make a difference to people hell bent on blowing themselves (and others) up so we left the area and the people to their own demise. This is a lesson those who came after him failed to learn.

Reagan was responsible for the economic turn around which greatly aided me and many other entrepreneurs in growing this economy. Your notion that unemployment rose by 10% is a pipedream you and other liberals wish were true. (Liberals find it easy to manufacture/fabricate “facts” from thin air”) I know I had a business and good labor was hard to come by only the dregs and loafers (as today) were unemployed Sure Reagan raised taxes, but you forget unlike ODUMBO who raised taxes during the worst recession killing any prospect for new jobs, Reagan raised taxes AFTER the economy was strong enough to survive a tax hike.

Now as typical of you liberals you cite Reagan’s deficit increase yet FAIL to mention All the presidents since have done the same only by much more. One other thing you fail to mention is the borrowing form China to pay for domestic programs that Reagan never did but everyone but GHW Bush did thereafter.

Nothing is ever the DUMBOCRITES fault right? So whenever you have trouble defending and/or nothing to substantiate your position you simply fall back on the
Federal Board for Blaming Bush Reagan or any republican that’s handy. Facts to a liberal are those that are pulled out of thin air to swathe their ineptness on all things rational. Liberal one dimensional idiot-ology dictates they make things up as they go so they can blame others for their failures. Then all liberal inadequacies are soon to be forgotten.
This is case in point when you say Reagan made a deal with Iran to release hostages. This is the biggest load of crap I’ve ever heard. Iran released the hostages for two reasons; First they were deathly afraid of Reagan they knew he meant business and feared reprisal. Second they wanted to embarrass Carter for being a panty waist.
You need to bone up on your history maybe next time you won’t look so stupid!

          • Alex

          • Vis Fac

I would expect nothing less from a liberal moron like you. Why can’t you come up with something original for a change? As you brought up the subject of killing babies; how does it fee to be part of an organization that takes glee in killing millions of babies before they take their first breath? You are more than likely on the front line holding sign saying go team. You are most pathetic too pathetic for words.

          • Jack

On this post you are wrong. Since you don’t know what Force Recon did, or even if he was in the Marines, you have no business calling him a baby killer. If you’re a man you will apologize to him for such an unwarranted attack.
A lot of my friends fought in Vietnam, fortunately almost all of them made it out alive. 99% of the people who were there didn’t want to be there. Many things were done that to us sitting in the safety of this Country might think were wrong.
Put yourself into the shoes of those who were there, those who were scared to death, watching their friends being killed or wounded and honestly say you would never have done anything that someone else at home might believe was wrong.
The truth is the truth even if we dislike it. There were free fire zones where every man, woman and child was considered to be the enemy and the troops were free to shoot any of them on sight. These zones existed because our troops were constantly being killed and wounded by men, women and children.
I am not ashamed to say that if it came to the life of my fellow soldiers or myself, I wouldn’t hesitate to kill a man, woman or child that threatened our safety. Are you saying that you would let a woman or a child kill or wound you or a fellow soldier just because they were a woman or a child. If you said yes, then I would say you that you are not really being honest with yourself.

          • Jack

            Force Recon:
Thank you for your service but that does not excuse the way you are now.
Wasn’t most of your rant about how strong and bold Reagan was? Didn’t you say “Our military was strong and Reagan took no crap from anyone (not like “I can be more flexible in my second term” nonsense) and proved it.”
Now you try to attack me for pointing out how wrong you were by trying to justify Reagan’s cutting and running. You now admit that everything I said is true, except the Iran hostage matter, but try to excuse Reagan by saying look at what the other Presidents have done after him. You were falsely boasting about what Reagan had done, not saying he did better that other Presidents.
Since what I said was true and you obviously knew that what you originally said was false, what does that make you?
Having read a number of your posts it is clear that you are a man with a small and closed mind. You think you know everything regarding the things you post about; you are closed minded and won’t let the true facts get in the way of what you want the facts to be; you won’t consider anything someone says that you disagree with; you accept as true everything that is said
that you agree with; you believe everything is false that is said that you disagree with; you never will do any research to find out what really is the truth. Additionally, when you get nailed you try to make excuses for your “misstatements”.
From what I can read, A person would be foolish to believe anything you say including your engineering firm and your 100 employees.
By the way what I said about the Iran hostage deal, like everything else, is 100% true. You confine your reading, watching and listening to “approved” conservative/libertarian sources which would never tell you the truth about dear old Ronnie and the Iran/Contra scandal. That is why you never heard of the treasonous deal Ronnie and his men made with Iran to hold the hostages until after the election in return for the US supplying Iran with arms after Reagan became President.
By the way I voted for Reagan twice. If the internet was around back then like it is now I might have been able to learn the truth about him and his policies and avoided the mistake of voting for him.

          • Jack

            Force Recon:
Another posting full of bull. I wonder if you are capable of telling the truth?
You were an engineer, who was in the Marines in covert operations, who left the Marines, then were called back to active duty to help plan possible rescue missions for the hostages, who then because of Reagan’s Presidency, was able to start an engineering firm that had 100 employees. I almost forgot, you also know all about the Lebanon situation because your Marine friends told you.
If you want to believe Reagan was a great President that is your right. If you say that he did xy&z and you know he didn’t, then that is not right.
You knew what you were saying about Reagan was false but you said it anyway. When confronted with the truth you tried to dodge it by comparing Reagan to other Presidents. Why can’t you just admit the truth and deal with it instead of passing off your fantasies as the truth.
The point was Reagan cut and ran from Lebanon when you falsely claimed he always stood strong. When you bitch about Obama, do you excuse him because “the situation/area was in a mess (Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.)”? Of course you don’t.
Your postings show you do not research a subject before you spout your so called “facts”.

        • Ried

OK, Reagan was only half bad, not completely bad like Obama. And I will grant Reagan had to work with Tip O’Neill and a democratic congress. However, national debt increased substantially during Reagan, Iran-Contra was illegal (even though intention MIGHT have been honest), and mental health care has been in a state of decline since his presidency. Reagan was NOT a great president (or even a good president), but I do apologize for placing him in the same dumpster as Obama. The current president has no redeeming qualities. (unless you count reading a teleprompter well!)

Any doubt Americans may have had that Barack Obama is a Marxist should be alleviated now after hearing his rhetoric in a speech in Virginia over the weekend, top talk-radio host Michael Savage told his listeners last night.

Asserting that it is governments and not individuals who create jobs, Obama told entrepreneurs Friday: “If you’ve got a business – you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

“You didn’t get there on your own,” the president said. “I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart.”

After playing the audio of Obama’s remarks, Savage offered a blunt assessment.

“So there’s communism,” he said. “That’s Karl Marx Obama. That’s Hugo Chavez Obama. That’s Joseph Stalin Obama. This is a very dangerous man.”

Savage, noting he has studied dictatorships, recalled that tyrannical regimes “begin with innocent remarks like this.”

“This man is the most dangerous, most divisive, most evil – I’ll use the word evil – president in the history of America.”

Savage acknowledged he was “stepping up” his own rhetoric, because the situation requires it, and no one else will.

“Things don’t start the way they end,” he warned, drawing lessons from history. “They start with the most innocent remarks like this.”

The elected Nazi dictator, Adolf Hitler, whose rhetoric originated with 19th century French anti-Semites, did not start with death camps but with relatively benign racial purity laws, and no one stopped him, Savage pointed out.

“The rhetoric Obama is expressing is not his own rhetoric,” Savage said. ‘This is what is deeply embedded in the man’s brain stem. He has been inculcated with hatred for the American way from the cradle.”

The Cambodian dictator Pol Pot, Savage recalled, “was a mild mannered professor like Obama” who went to Paris, studied Marxism “and came back a flaming communist.”

“It ended with a mountain of skulls,” Savage said, with some 2 million people slaughtered in Cambodia’s infamous “killing fields.”

Pol Pot, instituting what he was taught at Paris universities, unleashed his Khmer Rouge on anyone with an education – the productive people of society.

“What does this have to do with that nice man in the White House with such a nice wife and nice children?” Savage asked his “Savage Nation” audience.

“It starts with rhetoric like this,” he said. “It unleashes the genie in the bottle. It justifies any acts of betrayal, any acts of hatred, any acts of sabotage against the successful.”

He called Obama “the most hateful man who has ever plagued the White House.”

“Unfortunately, on the other side,” Savage added, referring to presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, “we have Mr. Peepers, Mr. Milquetoast, Mr. Checked Pants, Mr. Country Club, Mr. Nice Guy.

“I’ll remind you of something else,” Savage said. “Nice guys don’t finish last, Mr. Romney. They don’t finish at all.”

As WND reported last week, the new Talk Stream Live “Power 50,” which ranks the top talk-radio shows streaming on the Web, has Savage in the No. 2 spot.

Talk Stream Live says it sampled more than 1.2 million listeners during the first six months of the year to produce “The Power 50 Report” – the 50 most influential talk show hosts on the Internet and on mobile devices.

“We are proud to report that Rush Limbaugh is No. 1 and Michael Savage is No. 2,” said TSL. “These are the most listened to talk show hosts in the world.”

Savage’s show can be heard Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time on local stations nationwide and and via the Web.

          Liberalism is a Mental Disorder

          by Michael Savage

In his first two books, radio sensation Michael Savage offered a blistering attack on the erosion of America’s values. Now, in the third installment of his bold and biting trilogy, he offers provocative yet practical ways to reclaim our social, political, and cultural integrity.

Through a compelling narrative of current trends and events, Savage chronicles the continued assault on the sacred pillars of American life (the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Ten Commandments, the Sanctity of Marriage) by the High Priests of Ultra-Liberalism and provides the remedy for freedom-loving Americans to effectively medicate the mental disease of modern liberalism and restore America’s former brilliance.

In each chapter, the Savage Spotlight of Truth casts its brilliant light on the tactics used by liberals to spread their leftist agenda and follows it with a dose of specific actions, arguments, and activism that the reader can ingest to counter the radical left. After all, as Savage said in The Savage Nation, America’s best days are in front of her, if we have the guts to face the truth and apply ourselves to repairing the foundation upon which this blessed nation was formed.

Supplies are limited, Alex, so you better move fast! (-:

  • Louis Lemieux

By 2008, America’s standing in the world had fallen, sometimes sharply. Even staunch American allies were unhappy: Just 53 percent of Britons had a favorable opinion of the U.S., along with 46 percent of Australians, and just 31 percent of Germans. Today, those numbers are up in every region of the world — thanks in no small part to President Obama’s effort to treat our allies as true partners. There is one important and ironic exception to this uptrend, however: The Muslim world. All down in the Obama years, despite opponents who accuse him of tilting toward the Muslim world

    • speedle24

Where the hell are you getting these numbers Louie? Not that they mean anything anyway, but you really shouldn’t use statistics that are obviously from biased sources. It makes you look stupid.

      • Louis Lemieux

“Attitudes toward the U.S. are generally more positive today than in 2008, the final year of the George W. Bush administration. The biggest improvements in America’s image have occurred among Europeans – in France, Spain, and Germany, the percentage of people with a positive view of the U.S. is at least 20 percentage points higher than in 2008.”
It’s a stupid thing to say that I look stupid.

        • speedle24

Again you are just spouting numbers out of your a–. You have no statistical support whatsoever to back that up. In fact I submit that the empirical evidence indicates something quite different. For example, Putin has (and continues to) make an ass out of Obama insofar as relations with Russia are concerned (I have no doubt Obama is the laughing stock of the Kremlin). The Brits certainly are not friendly with the Obama administration for obvious reasons (remember the bust of Churchhill?) The whole African continent prefers Bush because of the AIDS efforts. And of course the entire civilized world is hating on this administration as we speak because of the NSA spying thing.

So yes Louie, for you to talk about America’s image (the Obama administration) in glowing terms from the perspective of other countries is well……stupid.

          • Louis Lemieux

It’s obvious no matter what Obama does you’ll find something wrong. If he get’s along with another leader, you’ll say he’s submissive and if he holds firm, you’ll say he can’t get along. No sense arguing with an ideological fanatic.

          • speedle

You seem to have no idea about international politics. It is not a popularity contest. It is about earning respect from other world leaders. In that regard there has been no bigger buffoon in American history than BHO. He is either laughed at or disrespected by both tyrants and democratic leaders like no one that has held that office. That includes peanut Jimmy Carter

        • lazy

    • Wizzardly

Louis, where the heck do you get your facts? If the Islamists are unhappy with BHO it is because he has not yet delivered the US to sharia law after promissing the Egyptian Foreign Minister that “In the end, I will always stand with my Muslim brothers” (as repeated by the Egyptian Foreign Minister to a reporter). If our standing with the Europeans had fallen by 2008, it is ludicrous by now. The Scandinavians and all of Europe are laughing at our President and realize the buffoon that he is. If you think ‘the world” has high regard for BHO, watch this: .
Where are the Dixie Chicks when you need them to tell the world how embarrassed we are at the incompetence, perfidy and malfeasance of our leader?

For decades look at all the “wars” started and look at the results.
War on drugs,…Total failure,… even if people are not addicted to “illegal” drugs, they are addicted pharmacies.

War on poverty,….again,.. total failure, GovernMENTAL policies have only increased the problem, not reduced it.

War on crime! Best place to start? Washington DC, To use a quote from “Star Wars”,…..””You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy”

War on terror, ** See war on crime,

Whatever our government sticks their nose in, the results are the same, it becomes totally corrupted.

These so called wars were nothing but a sham all that was accomplished was to provide a cover for massive obstructions of personal and civil rights. These so called “wars” were vehicles to covertly enact legislation to usurp OUR Constitution and The Bill of Rights and make us feel good that it happened. Most of the nation ignored these infringements because they felt safe. I did not feel safe — less safe now knowing my house could be broken into by police seeking “tactical advantage” on a neighbor or my grandchildren can be taken because someone said their parents are abusing them. Having my license plate run at least 50 times a day through photo recognition my emergency food and supplies taken by executive order, or my bank account frozen and me attacked by a drone because I am labeled a terrorist. Yeah I really feel safe.

No need to get your nickers in a knot now boys and girls. The campaign to install Hillary in 2016 has already begun. Documentaries and films to spread around the world her magnificence are already in process and her entry into the white house is ensured. Americas heroines are all from Hollywood so what better way to start her campaign there. So the world can look forward to having a president in 2016 who is way beyond corruption, lies or any other demeaning traits and will increase the worlds love for America to unprecedented heights. We have a lot to look forward to and can be eternally grateful that the planet is now being blessed with such an exceptionally perfect person. Just continuing the greatness of the present incumbent is difficult in itself, as it is almost impossible given his outstanding accomplishments, but relax, the present saviour will give way to an even superior one! “A Continuing Pattern”

These latest chain e-mails are part of a continuing pattern of indignant, anonymous authors spreading false and misleading claims about the travels of the president and the first lady.

In November 2010, we wrote about the “highly doubtful” claim that Obama’s trip to India would cost $200 million each day. That figure was based on only one report from an Indian news organization that cited an unnamed official, with no additional evidence to support the claim. The White House called the claim “wildly exaggerated.”

  • chrisnj

Propped up by a state-dominated (and NSA/IRS-enforced) liberal propaganda media machine, Obama’s ratings are not exactly plummeting – at least publically. Eroding quietly, steadily, and marginally is more like it.

All of which makes no real difference to him. He will embed the seeds of his socialist-Marxist cancer as deep as he can into the bureaucracy which will survive him, and there remains the real potential that he will ignore any Constitutional limits on his term (as he ignores all other inconvenient limitations imposed by that document). Expect a sudden crisis that will enable him to suspend civil law.

And don’t think that Hillary will be any different, as heir-apparent to the Clinton-Obama dynasty of celebrity Democrats. (she may just be better at obscuring her Marxist leanings).

Electing leaders on the basis of being historical “firsts” or because it is “their turn”, is never a recipe for anything that will turn out well – as we should have learned in ’08 but apparently did not in ’12.

In the end, tyrants do not really care much about their popularity, once they have achieved the ability to do what they want regardless.

“… experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed …”

    How Obama Thinks -by D’Souza

Barack Obama is the most antibusiness president in a generation, perhaps in American history. Thanks to him the era of big government is back. Obama runs up taxpayer debt not in the billions but in the trillions. He has expanded the federal government’s control over home mortgages, investment banking, health care, autos and energy. The Weekly Standard summarizes Obama’s approach as omnipotence at home, impotence abroad.

The President’s actions are so bizarre that they mystify his critics and supporters alike. Consider this headline from the Aug. 18, 2009 issue of theWall Street Journal: “Obama Underwrites Offshore Drilling.” Did you read that correctly? You did. The Administration supports offshore drilling–but drilling off the shores of Brazil. With Obama’s backing, the U.S. Export-Import Bank offered $2 billion in loans and guarantees to Brazil’s state-owned oil company Petrobras to finance exploration in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro–not so the oil ends up in the U.S. He is funding Brazilian exploration so that the oil can stay in Brazil.

More strange behavior: Obama’s June 15, 2010 speech in response to the Gulf oil spill focused not on cleanup strategies but rather on the fact that Americans “consume more than 20% of the world’s oil but have less than 2% of the world’s resources.” Obama railed on about “America’s century-long addiction to fossil fuels.” What does any of this have to do with the oil spill? Would the calamity have been less of a problem if America consumed a mere 10% of the world’s resources?

The oddities go on and on. Obama’s Administration has declared that even banks that want to repay their bailout money may be refused permission to do so. Only after the Obama team cleared a bank through the Fed’s “stress test” was it eligible to give taxpayers their money back. Even then, declared Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, the Administration might force banks to keep the money.

The President continues to push for stimulus even though hundreds of billions of dollars in such funds seem to have done little. The unemployment rate when Obama took office in January 2009 was 7.7%; now it is 9.5%. Yet he wants to spend even more and is determined to foist the entire bill on Americans making $250,000 a year or more. The rich, Obama insists, aren’t paying their “fair share.” This by itself seems odd given that the top 1% of Americans pay 40% of all federal income taxes; the next 9% of income earners pay another 30%. So the top 10% pays 70% of the taxes; the bottom 40% pays close to nothing. This does indeed seem unfair–to the rich.

Obama’s foreign policy is no less strange. He supports a $100 million mosque scheduled to be built near the site where terrorists in the name of Islam brought down the World Trade Center. Obama’s rationale, that “our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable,” seems utterly irrelevant to the issue of why the proposed Cordoba House should be constructed at Ground Zero.

Recently the London Times reported that the Obama Administration supported the conditional release of Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, the Lockerbie bomber convicted in connection with the deaths of 270 people, mostly Americans. This was an eye-opener because when Scotland released Megrahi from prison and sent him home to Libya in August 2009, the Obama Administration publicly and appropriately complained. The Times, however, obtained a letter the Obama Administration sent to Scotland a week before the event in which it said that releasing Megrahi on “compassionate grounds” was acceptable as long as he was kept in Scotland and would be “far preferable” to sending him back to Libya. Scottish officials interpreted this to mean that U.S. objections to Megrahi’s release were “half-hearted.” They released him to his home country, where he lives today as a free man.

One more anomaly: A few months ago nasa Chief Charles Bolden announced that from now on the primary mission of America’s space agency would be to improve relations with the Muslim world. Come again? Bolden said he got the word directly from the President. “He wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science and math and engineering.” Bolden added that the International Space Station was a model for nasa’s future, since it was not just a U.S. operation but included the Russians and the Chinese. Obama’s redirection of the agency caused consternation among former astronauts like Neil Armstrong and John Glenn, and even among the President’s supporters: Most people think of nasa’s job as one of landing on the moon and Mars and exploring other faraway destinations. Sure, we are for Islamic self-esteem, but what on earth was Obama up to here?

Theories abound to explain the President’s goals and actions. Critics in the business community–including some Obama voters who now have buyer’s remorse–tend to focus on two main themes. The first is that Obama is clueless about business. The second is that Obama is a socialist–not an out-and-out Marxist, but something of a European-style socialist, with a penchant for leveling and government redistribution.

These theories aren’t wrong so much as they are inadequate. Even if they could account for Obama’s domestic policy, they cannot explain his foreign policy. The real problem with Obama is worse–much worse. But we have been blinded to his real agenda because, across the political spectrum, we all seek to fit him into some version of American history. In the process, we ignore Obama’s own history. Here is a man who spent his formative years–the first 17 years of his life–off the American mainland, in Hawaii, Indonesia and Pakistan, with multiple subsequent journeys to Africa.

A good way to discern what motivates Obama is to ask a simple question: What is his dream? Is it the American dream? Is it Martin Luther King’s dream? Or something else?

It is certainly not the American dream as conceived by the founders. They believed the nation was a “new order for the ages.” A half-century later Alexis de Tocqueville wrote of America as creating “a distinct species of mankind.” This is known as American exceptionalism. But when asked at a 2009 press conference whether he believed in this ideal, Obama said no. America, he suggested, is no more unique or exceptional than Britain or Greece or any other country.

Perhaps, then, Obama shares Martin Luther King’s dream of a color-blind society. The President has benefited from that dream; he campaigned as a nonracial candidate, and many Americans voted for him because he represents the color-blind ideal. Even so, King’s dream is not Obama’s: The President never champions the idea of color-blindness or race-neutrality. This inaction is not merely tactical; the race issue simply isn’t what drives Obama.

What then is Obama’s dream? We don’t have to speculate because the President tells us himself in his autobiography, Dreams from My Father. According to Obama, his dream is his father’s dream. Notice that his title is notDreams of My Father but rather Dreams from My Father. Obama isn’t writing about his father’s dreams; he is writing about the dreams he received from his father.

So who was Barack Obama Sr.? He was a Luo tribesman who grew up in Kenya and studied at Harvard. He was a polygamist who had, over the course of his lifetime, four wives and eight children. One of his sons, Mark Obama, has accused him of abuse and wife-beating. He was also a regular drunk driver who got into numerous accidents, killing a man in one and causing his own legs to be amputated due to injury in another. In 1982 he got drunk at a bar in Nairobi and drove into a tree, killing himself…

The oil does not stay in the U.S. or in Brazil. It goes onto the world market and the profits go to the oil companies. The people of the U.S. and Brazil do not benefit at all. Our goal should be to wean ourselves off oil – not just “foreign” oil. It may take time, but if we don’t start, it will never happen. We could drill every drop off the coast of California and the price difference on the world market would be a rounding error.

      • John Woodbury

OK Jeffie, you liberal commie, just what will you replace oil with? Note it must be “shovel ready” and not bankrupt the common man. Note, raising the price of oil is not a long term goal, it is a way to destroy what is left of American Industry. Almost every idea that you name has drawbacks, serious ones. But the biggest drawback is that they are way more expensive than oil and natural gas.

        • Jeff

They may be more expensive now, but technology has a way of making things cheaper. Everyone knows it will take time to reduce our oil consumption, but if we don’t start, it will take longer. A good start is investment in electric cars, then finding a cleaner way of generating the electricity to charge the batteries. Planning more drilling of oil in the U.S. will only delay the reckoning and will not appreciably lower the cost of gasoline.
Calling me a Commie may make you feel better about yourself, but it won’t help solve our energy problems in the future.

Well, draft animals has served mankind well . They were still in active employment of the county when I was a child and used by some of the senior men about town as well.

Faced with walking and carrying ~ or a team of horses or mules, learning comes quickly.

Mr. Payne hitched up a team everyday. Saul and Sally knew the drill and where they were going to go before they left the barn.

We still use horses to work stock and go places few things can and without all the darn noise here in America. ~ while many parts of the world still use draft animals.

My grandparents will Oxen people ~ farmers ~ at that time in American history it was considered wealthy to afford a horse and go zipping about. ~ while he could only plow soft bottom land and shallow furloughs where as just one Ox could pull a stump without help.

Bill is the most pitiful commenter on the Livingstoned show – well, probably as bad as Chip Wood, but let’s not be hasty in our judgement. Bill has learned to use Nazi propaganda techniques almost as good as Karl Rove. If you want to get elected, throw lots of unsubstantiated accusations and hope the shock value of the charges makes your opponent look like Satan. That distracts your supporters from what you are really doing – destroying their country.

The president’s approval rating is 45-50% at the moment. The approval rating of the Congress is 9-12%. Which number is bigger? 9 or 45? Hmmm…

    • ESQ

45% is way too much! This tells me we are in deep doodoo!

      • Deerinwater

Yea that what I thought, ~when all these little plastic flags were being waved and we sent America’s best into the jaws of the tiger unprepared and poorly supported 90, 000 troops ~ with supply lines 6,211 miles long to lock down a nation the size of Afghanistan and her topographical complexity. ~ The Russians failed to do it from their own back yard.

    • wandamurline

Yes, it is hard to believe that 45% of the American public still has faith in the snake oil salesman who if he was infected with the piniochio syndrome, by now his nose would be lying in the middle of Benghazi. The 45% who still have hope must be the uninformed, and the reason that the number is high (if you really believe he still has that kind of support) is because of the lamestream media and their ability to hide everything bad he does under a rock from the public’s view. They are just as guilty of treason as the president….they lie for him, they excuse him, and they cover up for him. If this were a Republican president, a white president or any other race other than black, this man would have been impeached and removed from office BEFORE his second term began. A lot of people only get their news from the lamestream, so they do not have a clue to what is going on in this country. After 65 years, this is the worst president I have had the dishonor of seeing elected….Nixon and Clinton were bad, but neither hold a candle to this ineligible.

      • DuWayne Bryant

the 45% are the ones that use their free Obama phones(probably like trayvons) those that keep having babies to receive more food stamps, those that receive the govt. school grants, for online classes to them its free money, so they can sit up high on drugs all night DOING HOMEWORK for a class on music of the 60s and 70s and how it impacts music today, until they flunk out of all their free classes that they never intended to ever pay back the couple thousand they just wasted, because to them its free stuff they think the govt, owes them just for being an American.they have no idea that it actually came from tax payers, even then they don’t care because they don’t work they get their food stamps and free insurance from their state and sell half their food stamps and most if not all of their free meds to get their drug of choice, and the unions make up the remainder of the 45%( until last week) when they found out the rep. house wants all govt. union employees health care to be switched over to Obama care, the tissue or handkerchief industry should start hiring a lot of people due to all the crying the union people are doing while they try to be kept in their 5star plan that the tax payer pays for. I think I left out the racists like Sharpton and jackson

Robbie, You’ll never understand the truth behind those MAGIC Numbers, These Pollster’s present, Until you Understand this One FACT: Ask 100 people, ” how they Like Obama,” & make sure you ask at lease 75% Democrats & 25% republicans, And you’ll come back with 45 – 50%, in favor of our current Dictator!
POLL Numbers, ( ON Both Sides) are Always Inflated at best, or Molded to those opinions of the ones Conducting the poll!
Now, Robbie, Once you learn these facts, You’ll understand how OBAMA Literally Gets away with Murder & never has to answer for his Illegal Actions!

      • Robbie

Of course some polls are better conducted than others and, of course, certain viewpoints can have a way of slanting some of the stats. Having said that in recent years I’ve begun to trust certain polls with a high degree of certainty. Why just during the last two presidential elections I found most of them to be very accurate. Fox News probably had the worst track record because of their right wing stance that skews most of what you hear on that network. When there were 5 or 6 polls giving Obama a 5% lead in one state or another and Fox had Mitt ahead by 1% you just knew who was letting ideology get in the way. And besides when the actual results started coming in the polls that had had Obama ahead by 3 or 5 or 6 were right on the money state after state after state and Fox proved to be wrong again and again.

The funniest was Carl Rove and another dope on Fox who kept insisting there would be a Mitt landslide. Boy, talk about dumb.

In any case the nation is making progress but rather too slowly for my liking. At 50% or so the President is miles ahead in popularity over the Congress at 9%. People are clearly fed up with all the obstruction which will make the mid terms very interesting indeed. I wonder if there are any polls out on that yet. i’ll have to do a search.

That is Just what the Democrats are Hoping you’d believe. However,” (Soaking Buck), There where inquirers as to Obama’s Life before his Purchase of the Presidential office. But those that asked the Tough Questions, Where persuaded to Keep Quiet, by those Powers in Charge!
For Example, When His(?) Fellow Classmates in College heard that he was Running for office, it was discovered that Obama Was NOT one of their own, Yet the Democrats Covered that & other Points of interest up, Including Having His College Records Sealed.
And that One Question Remains; What is so Terrible in his Record, that they would become SEALED, From The Publics Eyes?

      • Deerinwater

I don’t recall saying that I believed anything. ~ My question was not rhetorical but asked for possible answers, ~ in which you so kindly offered a few.

How could “democrats cover up” such damning and conflicting details without some support and help from opposition?

It seems as if it only became a big deal when McCain lost. ~ This matter should have been presented before the American people during the primaries and selection process.

      • Robbie

His records are not SEALED. Fact is anyone’s university records are PRIVATE and have every right to be. Did you ever demand to see George Bush’s grades or those of Harry Trueman? I doubt it. Just mind your own business. Obama has THREE university degrees and was the editor and the president of the Harvard Law Review. In NO WAY does he have to answer to you.

        • Quester55

Robbie, you’ve spoken like a True Communist, Just like Obama, Speaking only Half-Truths and filling the rest with lies!
As an employer, checking a persons Education, One CAN request to see those ” Public Records, ” And as an “Citizen Elected President” WE the People, Have the Rights to Know Whom Or What our President Is!
Now return to Obama’s crotch, it’s time for your Weekend Feeding!

          • Robbie

Yes, an employer may REQUEST that an applicant agree to release his school transcripts. But the applicant may also decline. A person’s school records are NOT public so don’t say they are. In any case I’m not sure what his transcripts would reveal. I know that a number of the nuts who posts here think Obama never went to school at all but look at it this way: he taught law at the University of Chicago. To attain that position he had to have had an advanced degree in law (Harvard). In order to have been admitted to Harvard he would have had to have had an under graduate degree (Columbia University). At each stage his record would have been submitted and obviously was satisfactory or better as he kept rising in the process. Anyway his school records are of no concern to you. I trust those at each level of his education and employment more that I trust you! Just mind your own bee’s wax.

        • Carol Horacek

KNOWN FACT by those who want to know…His records are SEALED to the tune of millions of our tax dollars. Get educated before you start posting this BS! Common knowledge that his BC is a fraud, his SS# does not pass E-Verify (and was issued in Conn. in the 1800’s to a person called Bournel (sp?), and his Selective Service card is a fraud. He is a criminal with no ethics or integrity!

          • Robbie

All of your nonsense comments have been debunked over and over again. Only a few of you continue to harp on them. As for his school grades they are, simply, none of your cotton pickin’ business. What would have been important would have been the release of Mitt Romney’s tax returns. Funny how that was not an issue for you. Not that it matters now because Mitt is no longer around.

    • Robbie

Because it’s a phony issue to begin with.

If this be as you suggest ~ when were the first concerns raised in protest to O’s bid for office? I would like to know that. ~ I will attempt to goggle it.

For at that time, ~like so many other’s I seen nothing wrong with a setting state senator running for the 1st chair position. It was not until later that I was enlighten to the fact that the requirements to hold the position not the same.

        • Deerinwater

Well I found it on Snoops, ~ and concern’s were raised in 2008 ~ and they were shot down. ~

So it is, exactly like you say Quester55, ~ You see only what you want to see and you are not immune.

          • Carol Horacek

Deerinwater, the definition on Snopes is not correct. The framers followed Vattels Law of Nations. It states that a “natural born citizen is the offspring of 2 citizen parents” of the country. This new interpretation of “natural born citizen” by one parent, blah, blah, blah, came from ?????????? Probably dreamt up by the globalists, and Obumer still doesn’t qualify!
Maybe we can get the 2 million Tea Party Americans, that organized because of this usurper, and hired buses bound for DC to protest Obamacare before the vote will go back again and sit on the steps of the Supreme Court. I am fairly sure that the 2700 page legislation was not read by the justices. If so, the are in blatant violation of the Constitution since the bill calls for a personal standing army, “just as well trained, just as well funded and just as well armed as our military” that answers only to the President!
The Supreme Court has many suits with all pertinent info showing Obummer’s ineligibility. Many suits in the lower courts were thrown out for “no standing”, and those in the SC are not being reviewed. Just a thought (to confront the SC to do their job) so this fraud can be brought to light for all Americans to see!

          • Deerinwater

Hmm? Interesting Carol. ~ well ~ due process will proceed in due course. I personally will accept the courts decision whatever the outcome, however stacked I feel it might be.

While the people of the Carolinian’s have the history and propensity to accept no outcome other than their own.

Allow the selected people that make the big bucks to make the hard decisions and let the chips fall where they may ~ and move on. Time moves only one direction.

HMM? ~ having a hard time following you on that. Hitler commanded a 27% loud minority vote as I understand it. ~ To calm and appease this 27% , Hitler was offered an appointment by the victor of the election ~from that point skunk works provided what popularity couldn’t.

Popularity is like a wave ~ it ebbs and tides ~ Popularity is important to gaining position ~ while popularity in not necessarily a mark of strong or sound leadership.

If a pig had wings ~ I suppose that it could fly. ~ It was the bankers that wanted these wars. The bankers went with the people that could provide them with one.

When are people going to wake up to the fact that this man is out to destroy America? It’s been his agenda since the beginning of his 1st term. The only side he’s on is the muslims. He and his wife are spending like drunken sailors, (sorry Navy) running off on vacations, hosting lavish parties, doing their very darndest to sink the country they both hate. There were clues right from the beginning but for some reason a lot of people didn’t see that the change he boasted he was going to bring in, was to change this once great nation to a 3rd world mess. Congress has to get off it’s collective butts and do something. All everyone in congress, nay, in most government positions do, is worry about being reelected in the next election. None of them gives a rats behind, about the country, that and fighting off the other party’s ideas, There is no cooperation just a bunch of selfish people out for themselves.
