LONDON, Nov. 15 (UPI) — British researchers said a survey indicates seven in 10 women spend up to 20 minutes deciding whether to order dessert when dining at a restaurant.

Crown Carveries said the poll of 1,500 women, conducted Nov. 1-4, suggests most women eventually decide to order dessert, but 60 percent of those choose to share their sweets with friends or partners.

The restaurant chain, which conducted the poll to celebrate the release of its new dessert menu, said the survey found 60 percent of respondents only indulged in desserts when dining out.

The survey suggests the top five favorite desserts for Britons are cheesecake, chocolate fudge cake, banoffee pie, ice cream sundaes and apple pie.
