SCRANTON, Pa., (UPI) — Police in Pennsylvania said they arrested a man who accidentally dialed 911 while purchasing drugs from a dealer.
Scranton police said Justin Kryzanowski, 24, accidentally called 911 Wednesday and dispatchers at the Lackawanna County Communications Center listened to the conversation he had while purchasing drugs from a man named “Rick,” The (Scranton) Citizen’s Voice reported Thursday.
Police tracked Kryzanowski to his apartment, where they discovered several syringes filled with Suboxone, a medication used for treatment of opioid dependence, various prescription drugs and a set of brass knuckles. He also had a cellphone matching the one from the 911 call, police said.
Kryzanowski was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and prohibited offensive weapons.
