Paul Allowed Only 89 Seconds In Foreign Policy Debate

Saturday’s CBS/National Journal Republican Presidential primary debate in South Carolina has caused uproar among many Ron Paul supporters. They say the trending mainstream media ignorance of the candidate has become more obvious than ever.

The debate, which was televised for about an hour on most CBS affiliate stations and was broadcast full-length online, was largely focused on the United States’ foreign affairs. During the televised hour, the media-favored candidates spent much of their speaking time offering their support to military action in Iran, torture for intelligence information and other hawkish foreign relations ideas.

When he was allowed to speak, Paul continued to assert his familiar disagreement with the neoconservative foreign relations policies of the other candidates. But the Congressman from Texas, who serves on the House Foreign Relations Committee, had one small problem in the debate: He was given only about 89 seconds of the entire hour to speak.

Paul campaign manager John Tate said in a press release after the debate: “It literally made me sick watching the mainstream media once again silence the one sane voice in this election. The one dissenter to a decade of unchecked war. The one candidate who stands for true defense and actual constitutional government.”

Jesse Benton, Paul’s campaign chairman, said the debate proved CBS and other members of the mainstream media are arrogant and believe that they will pick the next President.

The Paul campaign contends that the mainstream candidates and mainstream media are doing everything in their power to avoid an “authentic national conversation” about security and defense.

Look at it this way, people. Say and think what you want about Ron Paul. However, have the decency to compare what he says with/against Obummer’s ‘foreign policy.’
Obummer’s foreign policy can be stated in ten seconds or less. It amounts to ‘I won’t send your boys to any foreign wars,’ ‘I never make mistakes,’ and ‘whatever GB started I can make worse, er, better.’

sc;It was Herman Cain’s claim to fame that he never made a mistake in his entire life. The MSM’s candidate of choice is Newt or Mitt.Cain and Perry just talked themselves out of the race in the past week with verbal blunders.

Sen Paul has a many excellent attributes and track record , but namely for consistency. He is however a Rosicrucian and considering that add the ever unfolding revelations regarding the Lucifer[an] schemata of the District of Columbia’s actual point in space, layout, Illuminist history etc , Everyone should be asking real questions. Christians must take a long hard look and evaluate the available information. Ron Paul may be being used and likely is as a much celebrated distraction by his handlers . We should know by now that only specifically cherry picked are chosen to office ( see Obama?)not through the electoral process esp in Pres campaign and Senators’ races of certainty. I am talking about millionaire$ clubs here! ‘Follow the money’ is often repeated and so where does Ron Paul’s economic plan lead to ? (Certainly no sane person could object to the demolishing the obscene Fed Res system and it’s collaboration with the tyrannical private banking cartel’s domination of the world’s economy). His, Paul’s, however heads directly into the mouth of the dragon, owg and International currency, that’s where! These are just a couple of highlights gleaned to shed some light on the Sen’s ultimate compromise and solution. If he were not as I suspect player, then his ever continuous and pervasive non electability, no rep in the media et al. would foment real resistance from supporters etc , which is why it certainly appears the he is with them and not rather for the reform required to create real solutions esp here in America. …my thoughts from the ‘drought stricken land’ Texas

The media is simply not being fair and trying to encourage votes. My question is how much money are they being paid from candidates who has the most air time, and why? Ron has been treated unfairly and any and all supporters needs to help him in any way they can. Its not just about money but by spreading the word on the truth about what he stands for, blast it across social media sites, write about him in newspapers in the personal section, and anything else that is legal to use to voice your opinion. The word about what Ron stands for needs to get out and if the media wont fairly help then his supporters needs too.
