Palin Documentary To Be Released Nationally

July 27, 2011 by

A documentary about Sarah Palin will be released nationally in September. It was recently announced that the documentary about former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, “The Undefeated,” will soon be available to viewers via Video on Demand, Pay-Per-View and DVD.

The film chronicles Palin’s rise to the national stage as a 2008 Vice Presidential candidate. After debuting to multiple sold-out theater audiences, Victory Film Group and ARC Entertainment have decided to release the film nationally.

“The Undefeated” was marketed through social media and grassroots campaigns, and yet received weekend per-screen averages above $11,000 in top markets.

“Given the strong audience reaction, we have determined there is overwhelming demand for us to get this film out broadly enough to cover the entire nation in September and October,” director Stephen K. Bannon said in a release.

Even though she has not stated whether she plans to run in the 2012 Presidential election, Palin has remained on the national stage since 2008, through her TLC series, bus tour, book tours and use of Facebook and Twitter, reports The Los Angeles Times.

Also, despite Palin’s not announcing a Presidential bid, the former Alaska Governor is currently third in the polls for the Republican nomination, reports the newspaper. “The Undefeated” is set to begin airing on Video on Demand and Pay-Per-View Sept. 1, while DVD sales will begin on Oct. 4.
