Palin And Schwarzenegger Quarrel Over Global Warming

December 28, 2009 by

Palin and Schwarzenegger quarrel over global warmingWhile the debate about global warming rages on, two Republicans—California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin—have been trading jabs and publicly ridiculing each other’s climate policies.

The clash started after Schwarzenegger criticized Palin’s op-ed article in The Washington Post where she questioned existing climate change science, according to the Christian Science Monitor.

"What was she trying to accomplish?" asked the California governor, quoted by The Financial Times. "Is she really interested in this subject or is she interested in her career and in winning the nomination [for president]?"

Schwarzenegger continued his attack on Good Morning America on Tuesday. "I think there are people that just don’t believe in fixing and working on the environment," he said. "They don’t believe there is such a thing as global warming, they’re still living in the Stone Age."

Palin, who earlier called on President Obama to boycott the climate change summit in Copenhagen, soon fired back through her Facebook account, asking "why is Governor Schwarzenegger pushing for the same sorts of policies in Copenhagen that have helped drive his state into record deficits and unemployment?"

Poor Ms. Palin. Does she not know the roots of the COP meetings? The US/UN endorsement by GHW Bush only months after his famous globalist endorsement? About the patents applied for and granted for what are now called Chemtrails? About how weather is something not just talked about but something being done about Internationally? The Chemtrails are to reflect infra-red solar radiation, but they also trap them. Weather is made; I just wonder when it is an official news release that climate change is not just people’s imagination. The cost of this program must be fantastic. Fact: On 9-11-01 when all air traffic was grounded these Chemtrails were observed. They are not commercial jet contrails. C’mon Sarah, get on board with Eviro-Economics!

    • Kodiak60

What happens when we reflect all the infrared solar radiation? Since “one-ton tomato” uses such a handle, I would say, maybe, he has an idea of what it takes to make a plant flower, and therefore, produce vegetables and fruits (tomatoes). That same infrared solar radiation (the orange-red spectrum is what causes the plants to flower, the blue spectrum causes the plants to vegetate, to produce leaves so that photosynthesis can take place, producing the leaves and energy to produce the subsequent flowers and produce) is being eliminated, therefore, our food source is going to be affected. Shall we call it global famine, next, that will be the world cry? We’ll have no one but the “environmentalists” who screamed global climate change!!!!

Come on, people… this global weather change is cyclical, and in actuality, the earth is returning back to its normal cycle… we’ve been very fortunate to have a very long abnormal cycle, which is why most people don’t remember the “normal” phase. And no, I’m not a scientist… just a common-sense idiot who studies nature, and connects the dots.

    • http://chemtrailagenda.com/ Dan2

If the blind lead the blind they both far into the pit.
The mentioned chemtrails are real, I’m watching them being made right now. You can see alot in the big sky state. And I know there are being done all over the world. Some of you just need to pull your head out of your electronics and look up into the sky.
This is your climate change! The weather is being manipulated to convince you there is problem that only New World Order can fix.
Also the mass mind controlling it can produce to dumb the people, It’s quite evident.
There are plenty of websites to go to for more info on this subject like Bariumblues.com, carnicom.com, arizonaskywatch.com, rense.com, it’s a total government cover up, so they won’t help you ( like that has never happened before). So, before you go and doubt what I’m am saying about this subject, Check it out and get informed yourself!

Thanks for the comments Steve and Marc Jeric, well spoken.

A lot of people are concerned about the environment and it seems to be an emotional subject. We should be responsible for taking care of it but a lot of this Ozne depletion so-called science is nonsense designed to protect patents. They started out saying that Freon 12 (R-12 and R-502) was to blame because of the chlorine content. They said the chlorine went up into the ozone and destroyed it. The Montreal Protocol was the big lie that started this garbage that was designed to protect Dupont Chemicals. What they never thought about was the earth is three-fourths covered by oceans that evaporate water sending tons of chlorine up into the atmosphere and it does no harm. They say that rain brings it back down. It doesn’t rain over the whole ocean all the time so what is the difference with R-12 and R-502? The same thing is going on now with C02 but this time it is about re-distributing wealth from America to undeveloped nations – plain and simple. That is what Obama and the liberal of the world are all about. In the end, they want two classes – those in power with the wealth and governmental authority and those that serve them. The science behind global warming is false, as everyone knows that when Al Gore put a team together the scientists left the committee and had no part in their lies. If you believe Al Gore, you believe a lie.

  • http://www.xanga.com/STEVENPILL Steven Mark Pilling

The more questions that the global warming skeptics raise, the more frenzied come the responses of the True Believers. “Tomato’s” post is a case in point.

    • One-ton Tomato

Oh, but I am a skeptic of stupidity and a true believer of facts. Quite able to evaluate them for myself as you seem to imply as questionable. Look at the bottom of the page for the latest post for you to bash with your thick bony brow.

  • Darrel

And one-ton-tomatoe believes all of this hook, line, and sinker. “Climate change” or whatever buzz word Al Gore comes up with this week is a naturally occuring process. Look at the history! And the latest one – CO2 is dangerous? Clearly someone doesn’t understand how plants work and didn’t take basic high school biology. Plants take in CO2 and release Oxygen. Doesn’t that sound like a GOOD thing? Humans and other living animals exhale CO2 – how long can you hold your breath? Sure we need to be better custodians of our environment, but the USA is a fractional percent contributor to “green house gasses”, and until the likes of China, Russia, India, etc change (they won’t) there won’t be any impact. If the USA “shut down” today, there wouldn’t be any noticable effect. Let’s wake up, stop drinking the “global warming” kool-aid (hows the snow where YOU live?), and stop lining Al Gore’s pockets!

    • http://Don'thaveone Sally

We have to keep on lining Al’s pocket so he can keep up the cost of his house. His monthly electric bill is more than a whole year for normal people howver, on the other hand George W. Bush’s house was build enery friendly.

    • DaveH

It’s a well-known fact that the wealthiest countries are the cleanest environmentally. So, impoverishing our country is the dumbest thing we could do if we are concerned about the environment.

    • J C

Good catch Darrel, yes I have noticed the tons of snow hitting places it doesn’t usually hit, or at least not this early in the year. I though it was fitting that the Annointed One returned from Hopenhagen and stepped right into a foot and a half of “global warming” coming down sideways…perfect!

      • TwoTonPotato

The overall trend is warming, but with that comes more unstable weather… like stronger hurricanes, more snow in places (as you’ve been noticing), etc, etc.

        • Racenut

Many scientists will disagree with that.

    • TwoTonPotato

Yes, CO2 is good for plants and perfectly natural. Water is natural and good for us, too. So go stick your head in a bucket of it and keep it there. See how long you last, fool.

  • Arvin L. Thornton

Do you really think that the Creator, who spoke this world into existance would not be smart enough to manage and control the very breath that he breathed into man??? He put all things, that is “ALL” things under the feet of Jesus, who we all know can take care of the climate until he comes again!!!

    • TwoTonPotato

You’re right, he’ll clean up this earth by killing off the people that are messing it up. Ever think of that, dimwit?

      • 3 ton horse turd

Obama has got to go. He didn’t even care enough for the ones aboard the plane that was almost blown up to come home and take care of business.

    • One-ton Tomato

You got that right! Nobody, not even the original G.M. tinkerer, the author of death and a murderer from the beginning will prevent what is written from coming to pass. All this hopelessness is the work of the devil. And dreamers want to Terra-form another planet after this one is scraped! Ha!

  • bluecollarbytes

Schwarzenegger has decided to become Obama’s dog, going after Sarah Palin, currently the # 1 threat to an Obama 2nd term.

    • Kodiak60

LOL! I think Obama has to worry about his own abilities to be re-elected, not depend on Arnold to fight his battles. At this point, Obama would not be re-elected, and if he has any smarts about improving his chances to be re-elected, he should reverse everything he has done in the 11 months he’s been in office, become transparent about everything, and re-gain the American people’s trust. I honestly don’t think it’s in his genetic make-up to do so. They’ve actually discovered that there is a brain defect in those that believe as he does, and there is nothing that can be physically done to correct it, either surgically or medically. So, unless Congress wakes up and makes him a lame duck for the next three years, we’re pretty much screwed.

      • http://myronjpoltroonian.blogspot.com Myron J. Poltroonian

May I introduce you to the medical concept of “Post Partum Procedures”. By taking the concept of an Ivy League Medical “Ethicist” who postulated that it is the right of the mother to kill her born children up to one or two months of age. I’m just suggesting we “Expand” the learned Doctor’s timeframe a few decades.

        • TwoTonPotato

Wow, Myron, are you really publicly asking for someone to assasinate the President of the United States? You do know that’s high treason, right? Congrats on being the most anti-American person posting comments here.

          • J C

Gee two ton…I’ve noticed you tend to leap to conclusions, put words in people’s mouths and call them names, while backing up your own postulations with nothing that comes close to resemnling facts. You must have graduated with honors from the Hillary School of Diplomacy.

  • http://www.easyinvest.co.za pete

Amazing that there are folks out there that sincerely believe that we (homo saps) can really change the weather. Only nature can do that and is busy doing so right now! She sure does’nt need any help from us! Taking on nature is a little like swimming the atlantic without a life belt, so those who think they can sort out the weather and this planet and the way it will operate, go right ahead whilst I watch in amusement.

  • http://n/a Mark

Well Arnold, I helped vote you in, and now you wear your Pelosi leash and call me stone age. You Arnold are wrong. God makes and controls the climate, and only God. There is no global warming or climate change that humans can control. We are wasting money supporting this climate junk and supporting your illegals, but oh, that is right, Pelosi controls you now. Not that Ms. Palin is correct all the time but you arnold are wrong. Why haven’t you sued Barry Soetoro for being what people call president since he isn’t American born either.

    • Jana

      Mark, Arnold is a RINO.
He actually would sacrifice his states economy (which he has already) to be politically correct in saying global warming is a reality. I have been very disappointed in him for a long time. He is not a Republican. In my opinion he is a plant for the Democrats to make Republicans look bad.

      • s c

Jana, here’s what you need to know about Arnie. When you say Shriver (Arnie’s wife), say Kennedy. When you say Kennedy, say ultraliberal progressive. When you say ultraliberal progressive, say delusional, uber anal retentive, paranoid and not worth knowing.
Between the family ties and the money trail, Arnie is a half-baked RINO who needs to get back into ‘acting.’ He’s a complete liability to California, and he belongs in politics like gore needs to be seen as a global warming priest. Neither Arnie nor Gore pack the gear. They never did. They never will.

    • DDC

Mark Al Gourd Head is only doing this to get rich. You are right. There is no global warming. God does control the weather. God is in control of everything.

  • Joe Engineer

After reading the very large IPCC report and about other 10 books on the subject of climate change, I have failed to find anything other than speculation that indicates that CO2 issued by mankind is the source of whatever climate change is occurring. The arguement of believers seems to be “We have looked at possible causes of change and cannot identify a specific natural source, therefore man must be responsible.” Then they use models to make this claim seem reasonable. There are very large forces forces driving the climate in different directions, and the believers say that man originated CO2 is the one factor tipping the scales toward warming. Two fundamental problems with the model based arguement is that it is not possible to model phenomena involving small differences between large quantities with any expectation of accuracy, and it is not possible to claim validity for any model that extends itself beyond the range of the measured source data. In short, no sound basis exists for making any claim that man is causing warming.

    • Jana

Joe, I agree with you. These people are going absolutely crazy out there on a theory.
You know, there have been so many theories that have been proven false after a short period of time. There have been so many health theories that have been proven wrong, one in the 60′s was that mothers should not nurse their babies. Wrong. Another one is that to lose weight you should eat a lot of carbs. Wrong.
I mean people are here and you can see, feel and touch them, and study them too. So now they expect us to believe they can truly tell us that we are going through global warming, something that they all don’t even agree on, and make it fact? Especially since they found those emails that said that since they couldn’t prove their theory that they needed to doctor their facts?

Sorry about the triple post. Something went wrong as it took a very long time loading and then viola 3 posts.

    • George

      Joe,

I think you’ve brought up some good points, which I don’t really recall reading before now. As an engineer myself, I think I understand what you’re saying about modeling. Unless you’ve actually got real data (not predictions) that spans the range you want to predict to test your model, you really don’t know how accurate the model is for that range. Since the global warming predictions fall outside the data set we’ve got from historical records, there is no way to really know whether the models are accurate or not. Also, since there are so many variables to model with huge differences, the probability of the model being very accurate would be very low (maybe one in a million….). Correct?

I notice you didn’t speak to the quality of the data used in these models. It’s my understanding that the data has been obtained in the following ways. 1) Recent temperature data has been obtained from historical records over the past 100 years or so (since data has actually be recorded), while 2) longer term temperature data is estimated from tree ring information. In the case of recent historical data, I understand that the data is suspect in many cases because there hasn’t been a universally acceptable standard method of collecting the data, and even where there were reasonably good standards they weren’t always adhered to. In the case of longer term data, it is very difficult to accurately determine atmospheric temperatures using tree rings. We know this isn’t very reliable data because tree ring data varies widely with recently collected temperature data.

So, even if the models were actually good representations of earth’s climate which produced results closely and repeatably representing what’s really happening with the climate (very low probability of this) when run with good quality data, we should have very little confidence that the results obtained are any good because the data used is not very good. Do you agree with this assessment?

    • Randy Ice PT, CCS

Absolutely correct! There is NO solid evidence that the earth is “warming” and if there were, it would NOT be because of CO2. It’s called the “sun.” The doomsayers like to talk about how many parts per billion the CO2 content of the atmosphere has increased. So what? C02 is but 0.03% of the atmosphere and has not change significantly for thousands of years. Now how can a gas that is that small of a percentage of the entire atmosphere cause the earth to warm? Answer:It can’t.

Calling CO2 a “greenhouse gas” is also nonsense. Anyone who has plants growing in a greenhouse knows it is warm inside because of the plastic exterior holding heat in, not the gases inside it. Comparing CO2 in the atmosphere to a plastic tarp on the exterior of a greenhouse is patently false. In fact, CO2 as pointed out is taken up by the plants in the photosynthesis process. Calling CO2 a “pollutant” means every person on earth who is breathing is damaging the environment. What garbage! These must be the same junk science dunderheads who believe cholesterol causes heart attacks
(which of course it does not).

    • J C

Yep! Its just that simple….and apprently so are those who believe in it.

  • Kay

Anyone who listens to Arnold or the quitter Palin really could use some broadening of their information intake!

    • Robin in Cody

Where is it that you obtain your information?

GLOBAL WARMING IS A HOAX DESIGNED TO SUCH MORE FUNDS FROM US AND LINE THE POCKETS OF THESE SO CALLED EXPERTS THAT DON’T KNOW UP FROM DOWN EXCEPT HOW TO SELL A METHOD BY WHICH TO GAIN MONETARY GAINS AND POWER.

      Ox,
Good statement that there is evidence of. Gore has made 300,000,000 Dollars since leaving office!!!!!

The Liberals are in a pell mell rush to control our economy using the so-called Health Care Crisis and Global Warming as an excuse. If we let them bog down our markets with even more regulations we are going to see the destruction of our economy. People need to do some studying of how and why Free Markets work and then get politically active. Here is an article that describes How Free Markets Work (something the RINO Schwarzeneggar knows nothing about):

“Man Made” global warming is a joke. Global warming at any rate, is not actually happening either. We have been cooling for about 10 years. No CO2, No life on earth.
That’s not to say we shouldn’t be taking a more responsible role in stewardship, just that a cap and Trade agreement is inneffective and designed to line certain people pockets…a total con.

    • DaveH

      Good Morning JC.

      • JC

Hey Dave, hope Christmas was good.

  • Jay Thomas

Arnold works in a City that has I-5 and I-99 with 6 million vehicles a day going thru. Of course it’s global warming. But who’s cleaning up Sacramento? Anybody want to tell me they are?

Temps have risen .2 degrees in 10 years. Big whoop.

  • DaveH

If Palin is living in the “Stone Age”, Arnold is living in the Dark Ages where dissent is smothered by politics. Man-Made Global Warming has not been established Scientifically. Rather, it has been established Politically by the people who have the most to gain by the draconian establishment of the proposed energy regulations. The rest of us lose in this vain attempt by Government to control the Earth’s weather.

  • Jeff

I like Arnold. Palin, on the otherhand, is totally inauthentic and has people snowed into thinking she is something that she is not.

As far as global warming being a hoax, my god people, do some reading. Real reading. Scientists have been researching and talking about global warming since the 1970′s and the science behind it goes back to the 1850′s.

    • Norm

You are right Palin is a joke. The good news is she is the best friend that the political center (and left) have.
As far as global warming, the evidence is overwhelming. I guess the people who don’t believe in evolution have a hard time with facts.
Rush even says science is a big con job. Of course, Rush was the dumbest kid in elementary school.

      • Richard

You are partly correct. The evidence is overwhelming…that man is not responsible for planetary warming. Greenhouse gases are but one of many factors affecting earth’s climate and even most greenhouse gases are not manmade. Water vapor is the most common, over 95% by volume of all greenhouse gases and it is not manmade. CO2 is a distant second coming in at a cool 3-3.5%. And, less than half of all CO2 is manmade, some of it a RESULT of warming. Science is not done by consensus; it is done by data, and the data do not support manmade global warming.

Interesting article Dave! I found it funny that Democrats were more likely to consult a fortune-teller than Republicans. Didn’t Ron and Nancy consult a fortune teller daily? Good thing they’re not around or the numbers might have been a lot more skewed to the right for that one! But overall, wow! You guys talk about voting out people in 2010, you should start with any elected official who claims to have been in touch with someone who is dead, have seen a ghost or believe in astrology.

      • JC

We’re cooling not warming. And no amount of tax money would change any of it anyway. It’s a con.

      • George

        Norm,

I like Sarah, and apparently an awful lot of other people do as well. She doesn’t come across as a professional politician (which is something a lot of folks really want), shares most of my conservative values, and has demonstrated her willingness to take on the establishment (even within her own party), something not many politicans are willing to do today. Also, she seems to be very bright and doesn’t intimidate easily by those who disagree with her. I think she is a fighter.

Frankly, I don’t understand why so many liberals attack her like they do, unless it is because they are afraid she will be successful running a political campaign against them. There does appear to be some credence to this point of view since the Dems are hammering her very much like they did Newt Gingrich when he was Speaker (when he was successful driving various conservative programs during the Clinton administration, and was considering running for President). I believe the strategy is to try to discredit the person so badly with continuous focused allegations that he/she can’t possibly win a political race. I’ve noticed that there is almost always name calling and impling that the person is somehow not intelligent enough to handle the responsibilities of the office. In other words, if the person hasn’t been annoited by the political elite, then he/she can’t be part of the group. This is disgusting, and really a disservice to our republic.

        • Rob M

Sarah Palin would beat Obama in a heartbeat if an election were held today. This is why so many libs dont like her…fear. We are as sick of Obama in 1 year as we were sick of Bush in 8, although I would rather see Bush in there that Obama!!!

        • lizmorningsmile, Philippines

I agree with you that if a politician is not annointed by global elite forces he or she can’t be intelligent. It’s thesame thought this intellictual people have about Reagan. I believed Sarah is brilliant, she speaks simply and clearly the way a common person thinks. The problem with many intelligent people who claimed they are conservative is that their minds goes beyond the common sense that is why they hardly can’t understand common ways and means. Any ordinary person can run a good government even if he or she is not brilliant as long as sincerity, courage and honesty are the basis of his leadership. Obama is not brilliant, otherwise he can’t be satisfied in his long years of his career as community organizer. All his ideas are fake, he is just a mere agent promoting his bosses advertisements.
He sorrounded himself with brilliant marxist people that is why they they are succeeding to destroy america. A fighter like Sarah whom they call quitter can be a great leader together with fellow honest, couragesous people arround her, mixed it with her common sense.
by the way, backing out a little bit is not a sign of cowardness, in a fight you do not have to be play in offens all the time to win, backing out is a strategy. Only proud person don’t use that strategy because they do not want to be criticized.

Jeff, man-made global warming is just a theory. Face it, it’s just a theory with climate models that can be manipulated to support the theory (just like we can create climate models that don’t). Bottom line for me is you can believe any thing you want, so long as you don’t impose your theories and beliefs on me and forceably take my money and liberties to satisfy those theories and beliefs. Think about it. If the roles were reversed, you wouldn’t want me forceably taking your money and liberties to satisfy my theories and beliefs. Would you?

    • J C

And in the 1970s they were preaching a coming ice age. And as predicted the world ended and we all perished. This is just a dream.

    • Joe H.

      Jeff,
Then why was there talk about a coming ice age 35 years ago? 40 at the most!!!! Why6 don’t YOU do some reading?????

  • Jeff W

Jeff, Jeff, Jeff!!! Man made global warming is a hoax!! Did you not read the scientists emails where they discussed changing the factual statistics to fit their need to show global warming? They have falsified actual numbers to reflect what they want their warming numbers to say. And, scientists were NOT researching and talking about global warming since the 1970′s. In fact, they were talking of just the opposite. In 1976, scientists and the cover of Time Magazine were talking about the new mini ice-age that was upon us. This is why all the warming alarmists use the past 30 years in their hysteria!! When you use data from the mid 1970′s (a mini ice-age period of temperatures) to today’s temperatures today may be slightly warmer. Why not use the 1930′s? A longer period of time? Because they wouldn’t have the data needed to show warming. But yet, the warmist alarmists will say you have to look at data over a longer period of time. Well, lets be thankful they were not in charge when the glaciers began to melt!!!!!!! What would they have done?? Kill all the dinosaurs because their excrement is causing the glaciers to melt? Hmmm, when the glaciers melted there weren’t any SUV’s, Coal fired plants, and the population of the world was about 100,000. How do you explain that?

    • DaveH

Don’t expect a Liberal to explain anything. They just know. They are smarter than the rest of us.

      • JC

Liberalism is a progressive disease….crazier by the day.
Too bad too because “Classic Live and Let Live Liberalism” was ok.
        What the hell happened?

  • Steve

Global Warming? Guys give it a break; in the early 60′s Time magazine and the “experts” said the earth was going to end in a cataclysmic Ice-Age brought on by the industrial revolution, and now it’s warming acording to their “religeous” like enviro-zelousness. Hmmm, lets see.
When all common sense is thrown out the window, and incredibly inept ideas are promoted through the channel of “expert” opinion: then follow the money trial.

1st: a global viral outbreak (swine flu), requiring the “Need”
for a Global Disease Control center, with no national controls
reporting only and directly to the UN. Now it’s been confirmed that this was a Lab virus that supposedly somehow escaped.

2nd: a global monetary crises, requiring the “Need” and creation of a global governing body with it’s objective of having complete oversight of national currencies, with the end game of proving the “Need” for a global currency. You know, National currencies are sooooo unreliable, I mean they have only been around since God created the earth.

3rd: a global enviromental disaster, the earth is going to burn up; which obviously means the “Need” for a Global treaty and creation of a governing body to tax all nations to fight this evil “Humancreated-Monkeyboy-CO2-spawning” bacteria (oh wait, were talking about people here).

Pardon me if I take a moment to vomit at all of this bunch of complete nonsense. Jesus himself said “be not deceived”, as lies and deception would be a prominent sign of the end kingdoms. It all comes down to power hungry leaders who will do anything to rob their people, destroy nations, create crises after crises, in order to consolidate their power.
It’s called Globalization! Anyone who disagrees with the need for this “change” is called a narrow minded, un-enlightened, fool and ridiculed, threatened and ignored…

If anyone disagrees that Globalization is a bad thing, then you need to take it up with God himself, the Babylon king Nimrod attempted to create a one-world-dictatorship and we all know how that ended.

One last thought: Any time your leaders feel that they need to lie, coerce, deceive, bully, threaten, conduct meetings in secret, pass laws without congretional oversight or the peoples agreement then it can NEVER EVER be a good thing. THE END NEVER JUSTIFIES THE MEANS!

    • http://Don'thaveone Sally

Finally, someone who understands perfectly what is going on. I really don’t understand people who don’t because it is as plain as the nose on your face. I guess we believers are the only ones that know the truth andthe truth shall set you free. Amen. Can’t wait until the next step happens.

    • J C

      Nailed it! :)

  • DeanM

Arnold should go back into acting with his RICH friends so he will be in a job where someone tells him what to say and when to say it!! Like most actors, they have no idea what they are talking about and should stay out of politics!!

    • Joe H.

      DeanM,
I agree 100%. things are so bad in California that Ahnold has to talk about moving to the state like it’s a job to be there!!! “When can you start?” STUPID COMMERCIAL!!! I used to like his movies but he sure can’t act like a governor!!!!

  • Marc Jeric

Sarah Palin is backed up by 31,478 American independent scientists; Schwazenegger follows the lead of government-paid drones of the far-left persuasion. Consider:
    1) There was first in the 1970′s the global cooling scam (see e.g. Newsweek April 28 1975 on the Internet); the government-paid scientists (90% of them are rejects of private enterprise) recommended to fight the new ice age by sending our war planes to cover the polar ice with soot in order to increase solar heat and so prevent crushing of New York skyscrapers by the new glaciers;
    2) When that did not work we had the global warming hoax in the 1990′s, proclaimed by mainly the same government-paid scientists (Dr. Hansen of the NOAA, for example); to prevent the massive heating, fires, flooding of coastal cities, disappearance of Florida, California, and Caribbean islands, massive hurricanes, global famine, and other catastrophic events we should nationalize oil and gas and coal and electricity companies;
    3) after 11 years of considerable cooling we are now faced with the climate change flimflam where whatever happens with our climate we should nationalize oil and gas and coal and electricity companies; and why not our banks, car and insurance companies while we are at it. To prevent this catastrophe the best vehicle presumably is international agreements enforced by the United Nations world government.
As for the influence of carbon dioxide as a greenhouse gas: on a normal day the atmosphere contains 20,000 ppm (parts per million) of water vapor and about 300 ppm of carbon dioxide. The government-paid scientists say that an increase of 100 ppm of CO2 over the next 50 years will result in a catastrophic warming. The thermal absorptivity of water vapor is 4 times larger than that of carbon dioxide; it follows that the CO2 increase will increase the overall thermal absorptivity of the mixture by about 1/8 of one percent. The production of methane from livestock flatulence and the rotting swamps (called “wetlands” by the environmentalists) vastly surpasses the influence of human-produced CO2.
There is the Global Warming Petition Project (see Internet) where 31,478 US independent scientists declared that there is no anthropogenic (human-caused) global warming; of these 9,029 are scientists with PhD degrees. Our environmentalists tried to sabotage this effort by submiiting phony names with phoney degrees – and then claimed the whole effort by the Petition scientists was a fraud. It took us 3 years and a lot of private money to verify the credentials of all the signatories and clean up the Petition of those saboteurs. See also Manhattan Declaration with more such signatories, plus a large number of scientific groups from other countries who state the same.
I am one of these signatories, MS and PhD degrees from UCLA, with majors in thermodynamics and heat & mass transfer.
I think to fight this communist attempt to secure a permanent hold on power should not be fought on the narrow grounds of more taxes – that is the losing proposition; where about 50% of the population is on some kind of welfare we will always be outvoted. The battle should be fought and won on the firm scientific basis.
    4) And now we have “cap&trade” power grab.
SCAM – HOAX – FLIMFLAM – POWER GRAB!!!

    • http://Don'thaveone Sally

      Well stated. AMEN!!!!!!

    • Jana

      Marc Jeric,

Very informative and thank you for this post.

Another point is the left are afraid of Palin because she speaks common sense. This is something they just can’t stand.

    • s c

Right on, Marc Jeric! TELL IT LIKE IT IS!
Isn’t Scam, Hoax, Flimflam and Power Grab the name of the Chicago law firm where comrade obama had his first ‘job’ as a lawyer?
And, when it comes to that global warming arsenic pill, MAKE THOSE FRAUDS PAY! ALL of them! They’re investors and career, criminal politicians, NOT scientists!

      • J C

Actually I think it was “Dewey Cheatham & Howe” ;-)

    • http://myronjpoltroonian.blogspot.com Myron J. Poltroonian

      My Dear Sir,
You may recognize part of this. I feel it portrays the truth of the matter: In light of the e-fiasco just exposed, I ask you all to consider the following: The physicist Wolfgang Pauli was known for his often less than polite criticism of the work of some of his colleagues. He would sometimes exclaim “wrong” (falsch) or “completely wrong” (ganz falsch) when he disagreed with someone. Near the end of his life when asked his opinion of an article by a young physicist, he sadly said “it is not even wrong” (Das ist nicht einmal falsch). The phrase “not even wrong” is a popular one among physicists, and carries two different connotations, both of which Pauli likely had in mind. A theory can be “not even wrong” because it is so incomplete and ill-defined that it can’t be used to make firm predictions whose failure would show it to be wrong. This has also become the situation of “Man Made Global Warming/Climate-Change” theory from its beginnings to the present day. This sort of “not even wrong” is not necessarily a bad thing. Most new theoretical ideas begin in this state, and it can take quite a bit of work before their implications are well enough understood for researchers to be able to tell whether the idea is right or wrong. But there is a second connotation of “not even wrong”: “Something worse than a wrong idea”, and in this form the phrase often gets used as a generic term of abuse. In the case of anthropogenic climate change theory, the way some scientists are abandoning fundamental scientific principals rather that admit a theory is not supported by facts is something of this kind: worse than being wrong is to refuse to admit it when one is wrong. If you “follow the (research) money”, it leads to the political – which equates with power, raw power. By the way: “Cap’n Trade” is only a smiley face mask put on by “Cap’n Tax”. (Think Jack Sparrow and Black Beard, respectively.) You also might wish to read “Unstoppable Global Warming (Every 1,500 Years)” 2nd edition.

      • George

Myron, sorry for postimg my response to Marc after your comments. I tried to fix it, but unfortunately the program isn’t letting me. BTW, I enjoyed your post as well. Thanks.

    • George

Marc Jeric, thanks for your contribution to this discussion. It has been well received.

    • http://PersonalLibertyDigest Thomas the Citizen

Thank you for your post Mark Jeric, this craze goes to show people can be pushed to insanity without any real proof or cause.
Hey myron and tomato-head find something real to complain about and get a life!!!

  • kenn

Not to worry. The Gobernator will terminate global warming; all he has to do is shut his ignorant, ass-kissing mouth.

  • kenn

Caution you are about to enter the global-spin-warming zone…hold on, or you might be spun off.

  • Jeff W

Thank you Steve and Marc Jeric. You men speak truth. Something that seems hard to come by in these times in which we live.

  • ONTIME

Schwarzzenkennedy and Algore are two of a kind, both are trying like hell to milk the taxpayer and make themselves into heroes, both are poorly equipped to be leaders and know little of science or the implications of global warming, cooling, CO2 or environmental structure but they sure do want your money and intend to make a grab for it no matter what you say.

Palin has brought down a RINO crook, been a decent Guv, can shoot straight and skin a crooked politician.. I don’t think she is the kind of bull sh*ter that Schwarzzenkennedy and Algore represent

    • s c

You’re right, Ontime. Giving Arnie or Gore the benefit of the doubt on global warming is grounds for long-term therapy. Arnie is to science what gore is [DUH!].
Palin, at least, has tried to educate herself and get educated by others. Arnie and Gore are as aware as whining 5 year old brats who think world peace and savig polar bears are just ‘a wish away.’ Arnie and Gore sucked it up faster than a human vacuum cleaner at a cocaine banquet. Arnie’s ‘expertise’ has left California in shambles. Does ANYONE think Gore will do ANYTHING for ANYONE?
Palin CARES. Arnie and Gore are frauds. I would at least listen to Palin. Arnie and Gore can flush themselves. Good riddance!

    • Joe H.

      ONTIME
I could have sworn his name was ILLGORE!!! As in gore your wallet!!!!

  • Steve

I think Marc Jeric and I are on the same page, very nice statement of facts by the way. I was goint to get more in-depth but had to go out for a bit.
Sadly, in all of these attempts for consolidation of power, this agenda is still making constant headway. Though it may be a “two step forward-one step back” approach. In each case, the lies and intentional mis-statement of facts eventually are found out and covered by conservative media; however, the goals of what those in power wanted are still eventually acheived. We can fight it, we can gripe and moan, we can do everything in our power to expose these evil groups of men; however, in the end the Bible states it very clearly: a quasi-world government of extreme power and vileness will be setup, though as the book of Daniel states, partly weak and partly strong, and it will not hold up for long. Wars will be part of this system, which means that the entire world will not be under this regime.

What kills me the most, and disturbs me to no end, is that “OUR OWN” media and government officials are not only complicit in this endeavour, they are pushing ahead full steam with complete knowledge of what is going on, to not only sell this country out, but to setup a world Autocracy. A government where the individual is of no consequence, where each person’s worth is only based on his contribution to that system, and any group not in agreement with it’s policies are made an enemy of the state. Are they Insane??? Do they not realize that at some point, a person of extrement evil will gain control of this system and make life miserable for all. Are they worshipping oppression, conformity, and death?

    • Bill Coldiron

Steve: Regarding you comment about the news media and their total silence about publishing the truth. Go to this web site for the answer: Go to google and type in ” The Shadow Goverment of The United States” ( By Richard D. Eastman ) Written November, 1994. This is one of the more informative sites I have had the pleasure to read.

  • Steve

Jeff W, thanks for the kind comments.

Sally, nice to know that there are others out there with a biblical world view and perspective. It’s refreshing.

    • http://Don'thaveone Sally

Thanks Steve and Amen. By the way, there are a number of people who know the truth and have studied under such people as Les Feldick – It is so plane – that is why the series Left Behind was such a block buster in sales. Can’t wait until 2012!!!!! Just have to hold in there as best we can and protect ours as best we can.

  • Steve

Sally, just out of curiosity, what’s special about 2012? Just curious, respond at

  • Laura

    Hay people,

How are those beautiful winter days where everybody is at? Here it’s great. It’s good to see the 70s winters coming back. Hay dems how is that change working for you? Can’t wait for 2012. It will be interesting.

  • DaveH

We have wrought this system by letting people freeload on others (welfare, etc.). Like spoiled children, instead of thanking us profusely for giving them the easy life, they turn on us.
Does anybody really think if we provide them with free health care it will end there? Hardly. They will next say food is a right and shelter is a right. We need to stand tough now or we will lose our country to the Marxists.

    • J C

Dave, its classic and its been done before. We have become a militarized welfare ? warfare state. The ramifications of which haven’t hit home…yet!
Here’s an interesting bit from someone who ought to know:
“Naturally the common people don’t want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
      ~ Hermann Goering

      Sound familiar?

  • Springman

Wow, I am so incredibly surprised at the number of insecure, paranoid and delusional people in the US. It is a shame that in this century the richest country on the planet appears to have mentality and ignorance of some extremist living in an Afghan cave.

    • s c

Springman, you’re quite right. The most insecure, paranoid and delusional people on the face of the planet live in America. They’re called Representatives, Senators and the current occupants in the white house. They are dangerous, and they have a long and proven record of utter incompetence.
We can’t afford them – literally or figuratively. Thanks for pointing it out, as far too many people still don’t know the “half of it.’

    • http://Don'thaveone Sally

Springman you better be delusional as the rest of us or you will awake and lo and behold your housing has been taken away, your taxes will be in the 50% range, that is if you have a job left at all as the people who create jobs will have long gone somewhere else and the good ole USA will be a banana republic. Look what Carter did to the US or perhaps you don’t have a clue and remember. Look what the Unions did to Detroit. I can tell you are not very educated in wordly affairs.

    • DaveH

      Springman,
Hitler would have loved your ignorance. Who do you think enables tyrants like Lenin, Mao, Stalin, Castro? They are enabled by sycophants like you.

    • J C

Be secure my friend…ignorance is bliss.

    • Joe H.

      Springman,
you should be worrying also or if you’re still alive you might be living in that cave with him!!!!!

  • argoman

the solution to global warming is this simple. plants use carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. we use oxygen and produce carbon dioxide. so plant more plants! we have more than enough “congressional fertilizer.”

    • http://Don'thaveone Sally

Amen – you are so right but how do we get the government to understand this? That is the question!!!

    • DaveH

      Argoman,
Now it has been discovered that living plants give off methane, a more potent greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide:
      http://www.csmonitor.com/2006/0119/p13s01-sten.html

    • J C

Just think, if we planted enough Congressman…we could grow Bourbon!

      • Joe H.

        J C,
there’s enough fertilizer in D.C. that’s for sure!!!!

  • Rod

Schwarzenegger Is nothing more than a far left Radical Democrat in
Republican Clothing. He is afraid of his wife who tells him every move he MUST make OR ELSE! It’s a Kennedy run state and that is why
the state is BROKE and why people are leaving it in droves! They are out of control and it’s getting worse by the day. Schwarzenegger is
a BIG WIMP with no mind of his own!

  • S.R. Hummer

Frankly, since we are so up in the air with our diverse beliefs on the issue of Global Warming, I have to say, I’d rather be safe than sorry. Absolutely!

    • DaveH

Well, in 100 years when the Earth’s temperature has risen 1 degree Celsius you can say you told us so.

    • JC

I can respect that. Let’s start by giving them all of your money and your car.

    • George

SR, you can believe anything you want right up to the point where you advocate taking my money and liberties to satisfy your beliefs. That’s where I draw the line.

      • J C

        Someone from the 17th century said something similar George;

“But how is this legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply.
See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them,
and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong.
See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another
by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime.”
        Frederic Bastiat

  • coal miner

    Jana,

If we legalize dope, organize crime would come to a end.The only reason criminals flourish .They make a profit off illegal drugs, gang violence would drop dramatically and we could used the tax renue.Remember they try to make alcohol illegal in the thirties, you know the results of that one. That were the rise of gangisters such as Al Capone and Frank Nitti.

    • lizmorningsmile, Philippines

I wish you can pardon me to correct you…revenu can be raised by creating jobs. You only think about MONEY! How about the raise of number of people who will become dependent to dope, what do you think will result if a lot of people are high in dope. Do you think they will just walk in the streets and give hi5 to every person they meet?
Most of the common caused of violence and death are caused by people high in dope becaue their actions are uncontrollable, many of them has no fear, a lot of them lost their insanity.

    • Joe H.

      Coal minor,
Do you honestly think that dope is the only “organized” crime in the U.S.???? Let up on the dope guy!!!!

      • coal miner

        Joe,

        Try Denmark!

        • DaveH

Don’t tell anybody I’m with you on this one Miner:
          http://www.cato.org/pub_display.php?pub_id=1017&full=1

They couldn’t even stop relatively large bottles of alcohol from moving around the country during prohibition. Does anybody really believe they can ever stop these very potent and tiny (in comparison) packages of drugs? The government has used the Drug Wars as an excuse to trample our Constitutional freedoms.
I say let the ignorant users destroy their lives, pay for their own mistakes, and leave the rest of us alone.

          • Joe H.

            DaveH,
All I’m saying is DOPE isn’t the only organized crime in the U.S. I’m telling coal minor to get off the dope!!!!

      • coal miner

        Joeh,

Herion the narcotic is used in other countries as a pain killer. It is the best in the world.A next door neighbor of mine was dying of cancer,at my suggestion to his son,who was a little on the sleasy side went and had contacted his friends and got the dope.He administered it to his father every day.His father live three weeks, pain free. When he died,he was tending his garden. The late William F.BuckleyJr, said we should legalize pot.His sister had cancer, the only reason she didn’t smoke pot,it is illegal.Clay County,Kentucky is a dry county, but, yet it is the booze capital of the midwest. You can get beer, wine and whiskey any where.People loves to violate the law. This is for your friend Jana.I never was on dope and I only in my entire life smoke two joints. That was in the coal mines

    • J C

De-criminalize dope and enshrine the right to defend your home, property and person with deadly force.
Now stand back and watch the Darwin theory take effect. 6 mos. and hardly a criminal to be found and the turf wars are over too.
      Imagine that!

Chemtrail lunacy? Nobody is looking at the correlation of several days after a large area is sprayed and the weather (sometimes severe) that is made down wind. As a reflector of IR radiation it also traps it and water vapor accumulates. When the sun goes down and the air cools, what do you think happens to all that moisture? Works real good in the summer months in the northern hemisphere. Also, I was at the deep inland empire of Alaska and documented not one but two flights only minutes apart plowing trails westward. Commercial flights don’t travel that high if a landing destination is in the state. And what is beyond the boundaries of the western shores a commercial flight would seek? Commercial flights to state destinations were consolidated because of low tourist activity in 2009. The patents are clear as to their purpose. COP meetings are to link economics to weather. Everybody right down to the consumer will be involved because food and every product will be assessed an environment liability. Every transaction and product will have to comply.
Even your home-grown tomatoes. Gore’s film leads to one conclusion and that is too many people=bad climate. If we can’t do anything about the weather, then…..

    • J C

I think the Gore film leads to quite another conclusion One Ton. And that is that a certain amount of the population is easily lead and easily hypnotized by dramatic picures and a resonanous voice. And you’re one of them.

  • George

    One-Ton,

You can believe whatever you want, just please keep your hands off my economics, and stay out of my garden. That’s where I draw the line.

Over-population is another long term left-wing “man-made crisis”, which I don’t believe in either. The models for predicting over-population are similar to climate change models in that the long term data is predicted based on estimates because there was no data collected prior to the last couple hundred years, and that’s not very good in many cases. Again, feel free to debate this theory with your friends all you want, but don’t try to forceably take my money and liberties to satisfy your theories and beliefs. If you agree to this, I promise not to force my beliefs on you. OK?

    • DaveH

There is a free-market solution to the over-population. That is to get back to the Individual Freedom, Individual Responsibility, and Limited Government that our Founders set up. If people are responsible for their own kids, they aren’t apt to have so many.
Another possibility is for these Liberals to sacrifice themselves for the good of the earth. That would go a long way in reducing the population.

      • George

Profound, and true. Thanks for those words of wisdom. Unfortunately, you’re probably preaching to the choir……

      • J C

I have a shirt that say that on the front. Personal Freedom – Individual Responsibility, under the word Libertarian. And just for fun I put on the back – The Second Amendment, America’s Original Homeland Security”
My wife won’t let me wear it to parties. lol :)

  • http://www.mooreorlessltd.info Leslie Moore

Schwarzenegger could well learn to listen more instead of spewing forth with unfounded criticism. I enjoy his movies and applaud his gift as an artist which he improves upon nearly every picture.
However his late flight to conservative politics finds him plagued with many viruses he has yet to inoculate for. With ways that aren’t pure and he has so far shown no cure for, his politics get mired in these side bogs and he turns to attack a colleague. Such tactics by the great “Terminator” suggest that perhaps it is high time to terminate him from his majestic gubernatorial seat which, were it an administrative seat for a country instead a huge US state, he would be top man above the 7th largest budget in the world. Yes I said world. Think about it Schwarzenegger controls a huge amount of dollars but it seems to me when looking at the books you would be forced to find that Palin is easily much more efficient in reining in her state budget than her accuser in this instance Gov. Schwarzenegger.

  • One-ton Tomato

    Gorge,
The UN via COP is going to tell you about your garden. News to you,? Start searching the news you trust. The economics are not yours or mine, they are globalist economics. Do you know about GM crops? How about the new seed bank fad sweeping the world? Global economics are going to link the population to food resources, population control and all conveniently brought about by environmental restrictions. International agreements. You will not buy or sell or trade without an environmental agreement and Carbon impact liability tracer. GM foods are a licensed product. You cannot maintain non-GM crops after one season if they cross-pollinate. You are in violation of the patent. Organic farming and home gardens are being outlawed by lobbyists of GM crops. Believe what you want but keeping your head in the sand and sticking your fingers in your ears while saying “LA-LA-LA-LA-LA”. Just doesn’t cut it anymore. And you want to make it a partisan issue!? The environment is the key COP agendas. Watch the countries that opposed it and how they get paid back. They will beg for it. COP is a UN design, and GHWB signed us up at the top of the list to make COP a reality. i am a one-ton to-ma-to, one-ton to-ma-to
    Maroon!

    • George

      One-ton to-ma-to,

This is scary. These one-world eco suckers are coming at us from all fronts with the goal of getting our money and controlling our lives. Is this an urgent call to arms?

      • J C

Goes to property rights again George. The minute we give in to the idea that we don’t have any we’re done. Until then I suggest everyone start a victory garden and keep a well oiled semi auto handy. Make sure your neighbors are of the same mind. Community is of key importance.

  • One-ton Tomato

    Absolutely not George,
Staff supports the line. Today’s West Coast Skies are awash in high-altitude spray and the tankers are plowing North inland now. Watch the temps, precipitation and jet-stream for some winter wonder to the east. Local temps falling.
Offshore spray is dispersed inland and remaining high into the jet-stream. Rain clouds heading toward the mainland for one big wet system to travel east under the spray.
Say hello to the old lady.

    • George

Sorry, but I can’t keep up with all that you’e telling me. What do you mean by “the tankers are plowing North inland now”? What “offshore spray” are you talking about?

      The “old lady” says “hi”…..

      Thanks,

  • One-ton Tomato

It’s all about chemtrails. Look at the IR sat. and you will see the two earlier tracks plowed in the skies from Ca. N.N.W. beyond WA.
Offshore trails are dispursed and moving inland ahead of a Sh*tstorm. New trails are not dispursed and can take some time to spread out depending on currents, temps, etc. My respects to the Mrs.

    • George

Thanks for helping me to understand your comments. I guess your answers are helping me to think of new questions in this regard. If you don’t mind, I’d appreciate your indulgence and answering additional questions that come to mind.

Do the chemtrails have any direct connection to the CO2 issue that’s been driving the global warming debate? If so, how?

What exactly are these chemtrails? Where do they come from?

      Thanks again.

      • One-ton Tomato

        Okay George.
You really need to do your own homework on this but the civility of your tone tells me you are a critical thinker. Regardless of your political persuasion, you have leadership qualities I admire.

The patents for what are called Chemtrails for want of a better name, clearly indicate they are to counter global warming trends. Patent title: Stratospheric Welshback Seeding for reduction of Global Warming . Patent applied for April 23, 1990, Patent approved March 26, 1991. Assignee: Hughs Aircraft Company. Patent number 5,003,186. Search the web and see what you find. There are many sites that discuss the chemtrails, YouTube movies and photographs. As you know the topic of climate change is a hot one but we are experiencing extremes in weather patterns. Cooling or warming is the argument but to acknowledge either is easily done in the presence of extremes. Thinking in terms of the last great ice-age, you would have to conclude that the transport of moisture inland to be deposited as snow required warming somewhere to provide the precipitation. Lots of it.
The water cycle does not stop during an ice-age. It may be that warming and cooling extremes coexist in some fashion for an ice-age. It is both cooling and warming in an extreme.

          • George

I’ve done some additional reading on chemtrails and the previous comments posted herein. Maybe I’ve gotten off on a tangent in this conversation. It now seems likely that most of your focus has been on chemtrails (and the possible conspiracy behind them), rather than the merits, or lack thereof, of man-made global warming. Or, maybe you see one of the major causes of man-made global warming as chemtrails, rather than emissions from the combustion of fossil fuels. So, if you would clarify for me, that would be helpful. Thanks.

        • George

Thanks very much for the additional explanation. I think this clears it up for me. I read the patent and believe I’ve got the sum of its intent. As I understand it, the patent claims that the earth is heated by sunlight which has a very short wavelength that is neither reflected nor absorbed by the earth’s greenhouse gases. The earth radiates heat absorbed by the sunlight back into space. This radiated heat travels in very long wave lengths which is absorbed by the earth’s greenhouse gases. Since these gases don’t allow the earth’s radiated heat to escape into space, the earth then warms accordingly. That sounds logical to me.

However, I would guess the process is more complicated than this due to the many interacting variables. Questions that come to my mind which give me pause relative to this theory are: 1) Does the earth have any natural methods of keeping these greenhouse gases in balance? If so, what are they, and what are their limits of control? 2) Since (apparently) the amount of CO2 in the stratosphere is very small relative to the other greenhouse gases (like water vapor), is the marginal amount of CO2 really causing any measurable change in the earth’s temperature? 3) Has anyone tried putting the chemicals proposed by this patent into the atmosphere to see what effects they might have? If so, what was determined? (I wonder, for instance, whether the net effect might be that we’re just adding more pollutants into the atmosphere.)

I’ll stop at this point, and concede that man-made global warming is possible (in my mind). However, I still am not convinced that it is actually occurring, at least not because of man-made activities, or if it is, sufficiently to call for the kind of enormous taxes and controls that our politicians want. I’m just not ready for that yet.

Thanks for your time and thoughtful responses.

          • One-ton Tomato

George, you raise questions like there is some kind of logic questioning a patent approved.
Look at the facts, there is a patent to document the chemtrails and chemtrails are evidenced around the world. Contracts for heavy-hauling tanker transports include many makers and clients. Look up George. Any questions you have should question why this is being done. It is a fact it is happening and who is behind it. Like the guy said, follow the money. The public education to support global warming is just as strong as the opposition. There is the conflict.

Ask what resolve will this conflict of chaos bring in new order.? The movie by Gore does not just come out and say too many people are the problem to the changing and deteriorating climate. It is inferred by the data. The climate is merely the conflict to bring about international agreements. Climate liability at the consumer level.
You want to logically understand and question chaos in the conflict while participating from one of two sides. You never see what is really going on when you do that. You are thinking right, but like I said it is the wrong approach. You have to first be aware of chaos/order designs. Understand the how the conflict is presented. Any view from a conflict perspective or position will mask your understanding. You have to see the box from the outside George.

I could care less about if the planet is cooling or warming or trends or results from those trends. Is mankind involved in this and is it real? Yes, man is involved in this and it is as real as you want to believe the facts you like when you pick a side.
The chemtrails are real, their intent in the patent may not be real. The science may be flawed as you question. Here is the rub: Gore educates us of pending doom. COP has been established on the heels of this patent and GHWB’s NWO announcement. World population is dependent on GM crops. Something is going to have to give because the GM crops cannot keep up with the demand of a growing global population. Seed banks are not just a fad but are real. This whole thing is about food, population and globalist controls of both. COP is to link the environment to economics, at the lowest common denominator from the highest. New order from chaos.

          • George

            One Ton Tomato,

I think I’ve got a much clearer understanding of what you’ve been telling me. Your primary concern is for Chemtrails and the conspiracy behind them to create a new world order/organization. As you say, I expected you to take a stand for or against global warming, so I didn’t readily see your concern. Thanks for taking the time to educate me on this issue.

            Happy New Year.

  • george1389

Ms Palin would’nt know global warming if she could see it from her front window. when the polar cap is gone I hope she can figure a way to feed the polar bears.

    • George

Can you tell the difference between man-made global warming and natural global warming? If so, how?

I haven’t seen much evidence of any kind of global warming for the past couple of years. Have you?

    • DaveH

I have a way to feed the polar bears. We will pay for the food if you Liberals will hand-feed them.

      • DaveH

All kidding aside, please read this article:
        http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=26627

        • George

Good article, Dave. I really doubt that liberals care about the polar bears. I’m inclined to think they just use the polar bears as a way of creating another crisis to move us closer and closer to their goals of socialized world order.

          • Joe H.

            George,
They don’t care for the bears, they just use them to pluck at the bleeding heart strings of the “Bambi” lovers!!!

          • DaveH

I agree George. They want absolute control of our lives and our wallets.

      • J C

Dave, families in northern Canada are walking their kids to school with rifles….there’s no shortage of Polar Bears.

  • Don

I guess Sarah Paulin is showing her true colors. It is a money issue for her and as long as it doesn’t have a large impact on her, who cares about those who come after her? Very caring person??
“why is Governor Schwarzenegger pushing for the same sorts of policies in Copenhagen that have helped drive his state into record deficits and unemployment?”

    • George

      Don,

Do you see a problem with Sarah making money selling her books, etc? I guess I don’t see anything wrong with it so long as she’s not holding an elective office and people are willing to pay to hear what she has to say.

      • 3 ton horse turd

Palin is a great lady. Our next President. Got to be a hell of lot better than what we got. He does not care about anyone but himself. At least she does have some sense.

    • DaveH

It’s a money issue? Now I’m confused. Isn’t it our money that the Liberals want? It’s all a money issue. But money is just an abstract representation of our labor. To steal our money is to steal away the hours of labor we spent earning it. Not only is it immoral for the Liberals in Government to steal our money, but it is also bad for the country. When people get their life savings stolen through taxes and inflation, why do you think anybody would want to work harder? When we work less, then less is produced and we all suffer. Except of course the Political class who rides high on the hog even while we suffer. Sarah obviously cares more about the future of Californians than Arnold does.

    • J C

I like capitalists. Like em a lot. Provided that is, that they are not in bed with the government.

      • George

Amen to that. Don’t you just love how businesses and organizations are getting cozy with the government to get those hand-outs? For example, General Electric has been promoting the cap and trade bill because they benefit from government hand-outs and regulations on the fossil fuel industry. (GE makes wind turbines that generate electricity.) Also, how AARP who is supposed to be representing senior citizens are out promoting the health care bill when the bill will reduce funding for Medicare by $500 billion at a time when it is losing so much money that it will go in the red by around 2016. Everyone is a prostitute these days. Just give them enough of our money and they’ll say or do anything you want. Washington is so corrupt…..

    • Claire

She quit as the governor of Alaska and now she is laughing all the way to the bank. She goes where the money is, and who can blame her? Presidential material? Hardly.

      • 3 ton horse turd

sure beats what we got as prez now and the rest of the democs. dont you think so Claire

        • DDC

turd i would vote for her in a hart beat

        • George

I sure do agree. At least Sarah seems to share my values, is smart, willing to take on the establishment, and hasn’t been corrupted by the system yet…….

      • Claire

I would gladly vote for a woman if she had the brains of Margaret Thatcher.

        • 3 ton horse turd

Sorry don’t think Margret Thatcher is available. Palin could beat her easy. Palin is so much smarter

  • Rod

Sarah Palin is a HOOT and a HOLLER. Great lady! She is right on the mark and she has the far left RADICALS running for cover! Schwarzenegger can’t even tie his own shoes with out the KENNEDY’S.
He and Al Gore are alike in many ways, they run like rabbits when anyone tries to teach them something. Go back to mama Arnie she will tell you what to say next.

  • Rod

George, the far left Radicals are out for blood,OURS, the health care bill has nothing tp do with “HEALTH”. It’s all about TYRANNY!

    • George

      I believe you are right…..

  • Rod

I believe we have an uprising in this country. People are tired of
O bum a’s lies and the rest of criminals in Washington. The SLIME
OOOOZED their way into office and now it’s time to take this country back! Even the people who voted for this creep are saying NEVER AGAIN!
TOO BAD, we really didn’t have to do it this way.

    • One-ton Tomato

Rod, when you come to learn that among the CFR and it’s foreign counterparts that there are no lines of division, you will understand that there is no left or right. Maintaining a conflict brings new order through chaos. The chaos you are engaged in is a designed conflict of political difference, just like the climate conflict or any conflict that has been orchestrated for hundreds of years. New order Arises out of conflict. It is on the back of a dollar bill, but you never perceive that even though you have used them for years. You have been played and are a pawn to a design you cannot see. Wake up. The illusionists have pulled the wool over your eyes.

      • One-ton Tomato

Sarah Palin delivers false hope of another Utopian dream: political perfection. The only problem is that she is playing hard ball against a team that is seasoned beyond generations. She severs them by providing the distraction of the day. One is advised that you cannot serve God and mammon (the world). To think one can is self dilusional.

        • George

There is certainly some wisdom in what you’re saying, I think.

      • J C

Wow for a “lefty” that’s very astute…and true!
The whole thing needs to be torn down and replaced by something new.
Hey I know! We could call it a “Constitutional Republic”.

        • One-ton Tomato

This has been in the works for a half a century. Media delivers “facts” from a reputable source. If you look into those sources of various names you will see they are from CFR member run think tanks. CFR members are at the heads of media and control it. You and everyone else are embroiled in a topic presented to you, by the think tanks via the media.
Same goes for energy shortages, or any shortage that implies too many people cannot be supplied. Now world population is even more dependent on supplies and in order to deliver those supplies, there will have to be new order. It is globalist economic dominion, the NWO.

          • George

That new world order thing really scares me. I don’t have much confidence in our politicians doing the right things for the U.S., but I have much less than that for politician that aren’t US citizens putting the US first or near the top of their priorities.

  • Bill

Can’t believe all you so called intelligent folks can not see through all the smoke screens being thrown in front of you. open your eyes and look behind the scene’s at the real truth. If you want to find out what the real truth is, all you have to do is follow the money and look at who is screaming the loudest, then you will see your lying, cheating and down-right dishonest elected officials thats been lying all along. Then look at the Progressive Democratic Socialist that have invaded the Democratic Party, then you will discover who is trying to destroy America. Keep your powder dry folks!!!!!!!!!

    • George

      Bill,

I think most of the folks on this site agree with you. You’re in pretty good company here.

When it comes to politicians we might be well advised to be cautious about their intentions, regardless who they are, especially since they’ve got all our money (and credit) to tempt them to forget their ethics and oath of office.

    • J C

      Absolutely right.

  • philip mccormack

The answer to Palin: if she is getting funds from oil producers and coal companies global warming is not in her policies. If she is against legalisation of drugs eg cannabis same thing. In the south 1943 war time 375,000 acres of cannabis(high cellulose 80%) were grown producing methanol (clean gasoline) and oxygen. Pyrolysis of cannabis creates all the products fossil fuel does This gives off CO2 and the cannabis reabsorbs CO2as it grows. Even better cannabis grows on poor soil Problems solved. No global warming. Lots of love

    • J C

Tough being almost completely alone on that one isn’t it?
I agree though, if they could control and tax it. it would be legal.
And you’re also right about some of the natural benefits, they should be explored.

    • George

Sounds like this technology has promise. All I ask is for the government to stay out of it and let the markets determine whether, and to what extent, to use this technology. If the markets determine this is better than using fossil fuels, great. Otherwise, keep the technology in the labs for further research and development until it can provide the benefits required by the markets. Personally, I think using the global warming/climate change argument to force us to use less economical fuels than fossil fuels, is unwise and distasteful. Let them all compete in the market place, and the best, most economical fuel should win. That’s the way to do it. Of course, if the day should come when it is finally proven that man-made global warming is a fact, not just theory as it currently is, then that “may” present us with fewer options. Until then, I think the markets should decide.

    • coal miner

      Philip,

I wish everybody would think the way you do,it is unfortunate they don’t.They rather listen to a pretty bird brain like Palin.

  • One-ton Tomato

Yea, well like I said Palin is the distraction of the day. Just like the climate issue. The real news will never be printed unless it suits the cause. The media will never cover the chemtrails, can you imagine the international outrage? I remember year ago when a serious
outbreak of unknown origin took the Midwest. It was an epidemic of respiratory infections.
As long as the public id educated by the media that is run by CFR leadership, everything you know to be true is likely a lie. A little bit of truth is required to make it plausible, so most will take one side or another on a topic. Glad I could educate at least one critical thinker to see things for what they are. I think Palin is dangerously out of her league and the idealism she promotes is just that. Looks like the pipeline is going to be built but it remains to be seen who will build it and how much the Alaskan people and economy benefit directly. It will be years before it will be a reality and that may be too long to save the Alaskan economy. What Sarah expects is an influx of tens of thousands of people to build this project. I think she even used numbers in 100 thousands. How much you want to bet the labor is Canadian? Most of the pipeline goes through Canada wilderness. So there is the money boys, any climate issue cannot be in the discussion to impede progress.
What a Spenard ho! Let’s lay some pipe!!

    • George

Are you opposed to the building of the Alaskan Gas Pipeline?

  • One-ton Tomato

No. Just want to see the work and the money trail. NAFTA jobs means low cost labor, sweetheart deals and safety issues not to mention quality. BTW, we ship LNG from AK now. No new exploration is needed. We cannot ship it to our ports because we do not own the tankers, any LNG has to come in foriegn flag, and we can’t use foriegn flag vessels from US to US port. I am just saying the time required to see any profits from this other than short-term construction jobs is a decade out. Any current economic improvemwnt is small. The jobs will not employ many Alskans or Americans. Now where are those 1200 gas fired power plants Dick promised a decade ago? Where is the need? Back to supply and demand. George, the alsakan pipeline is a miss-noamer. LOL If Sarah takes the credit for this I would like to see exactly where and how in the given time-line. Looks like all she really was about might just be this one sweet deal! And her A-B normal ego.

    • George

I think I see. You’re suspicious that any project that involves either Mexico or Canada will result in those countries reaping most of the benefit, even though the US may bare most of the cost. That may be a fair concern. I feel pretty confident that the companies funding the project will benefit over time, or they wouldn’t make the investment, and I feel pretty sure they will have to comply with US labor laws. I also assume Alaska will benefit or they wouldn’t be pushing the project. I knew several people who worked on the Alaska oil pipeline years ago, and they made a lot of money on that project. I figure it would be about the same this time. However, there may not be a surplus of oil field workers nowadays, so that may make some difference this time. Nevertheless, I’d like to encourage these kinds of projects all we can. There’s got to be a ton of economic benefits to everyone involved.

I don’t know how much credit Sarah should get for this project. I do know that she’s been the only high profile public official pushing this project in recent years, so I’d give her some credit for bringing this to the public’s attention.

I don’t know where the 1200 gas-fired power plants are. I’d assume that was a proposal that the libs didn’t like since they’ve generally opposed investments in any fossil fuel projects. Given the very narrow majority Bush had in his first term, I’d guess that he couldn’t get a majority to support the idea. What’s your take?

BTW, I’m impressed with your knowledge on these subjects. Thanks for sharing with me.

  • One-ton Tomato

Like the chemtrail thing, some things don’t happen overnight. The libs’ had nothing to do with private construction. You think those 1200 plants were fed jobs? Several plants were built. Some mothballed and bankrupt, bought for pennies on the dollar and finished. Many projects have gone the same way, steel plants, ehtanol plants, nuke plants etc. There is money to be made both ways when you cut that hog as long as you are the one catching the blood. A new LNG plant that nobody wants is in the works on the Columbia river. That has been in the works for years too. Decades. There is no shortage of energy products. The enron deal was allowed to happen by a closed door late session of congress; they were voted in and approved to be a monopoly. Big money, big players and there is no white and black as people percieve, only illusion to consolidate wealth, resouces and their control. Well, a crash always makes a bad landing. You can’t understand a country inside a limo.

  • One-ton Tomato

One last word George, politics can be civil and not personal. It doesn’t have to be shouting and questioning the other guys motives. Try to see the other person’s view. That means you have to listen and not talk all the time. There has to be a certain decorum and civility.
How low have we gotten here?

    • George

Thank you sir. I agree and really appreciate your tone and information. You’ve given me much to think about.

      Take care.
