    Nice polite euphemisms. Funny how they do that.. ‘neutralized’.

    I could stomach ‘killed in a firefight’ far better. Or even ‘killed while holding a hostage’.It’s another method of dehumanization of the target. But then, that’s the language anymore, isn’t it? “The target was neutralized at 09:00” “Target initiated hostilities, has been neutralized” “Target terminated” “Blew the kid with a gun away from 200 meters. Have a nice day.”
