Occupy Los Angeles Offered Farmland, Offices To Get Out

Occupy Los Angeles Offered Farmland, Offices To Get Out

Officials in the City of Angels are attempting to reach an agreement with the Occupy protesters that have been camped in front of their city hall for the past several weeks: Leave and we’ll provide you with office space and farmland.

Los Angeles, which has reportedly been one of the friendliest cities to the Occupy protesters, has extended the olive branch to the group in an official effort to avert violent demise of the protest encampment similar to what has taken place in New York; Oakland, Calif., and other cities in recent weeks.

According to Los Angeles Times, details of the proposal were revealed Monday during the demonstration’s nightly general assembly meeting by Jim Lafferty, an attorney with the National Lawyers Guild who has been advocating on behalf of the protest since it began seven weeks ago.

The city has refused to comment on the proposals, saying only that negotiations are ongoing, but reports indicate that the offer includes: a $1-a-year lease on a 10,000-square-foot office space near Los Angeles City Hall, the promise of farmland for protesters who wish to continue to camp and want to farm, and housing for many of the large number of homeless people who have joined the city’s Occupy group.

Lafferty said that it is unclear whether Occupy L.A. will accept the proposal which has angered at least some of the protesters.

“I don’t appreciate people appointing themselves to represent me, to represent us,” one woman called out during the assembly. “Who was in those meetings?”

    what a bunch of wimps

Farming would require some effort, so much easier to just lay around and ask for handouts.

HA, go for it eddie, enjoy. Stay for a couple months and while you’re there why don’t you read a good book. May I suggest a couple to you? First, “The Naked Communist” by Skousen. Then if you still have enough time, “The Black Book of Communism”. These two may by some chance enlighten you a bit more than you obviously are.

        • s c

Sirian, e’s plans may not be as sincere as you think. As I recall, e is from Colorado, so just to see if he’s relly dedicated, he needs to put in an OWSer stint at Great Falls, Montana for the next three months.
THEN we’ll know he’s serious. As for reading material, I suggest von Mises’ ‘Socialism.’ The
problem is, Sirian, that we can’t assume e can read yet (the jury isn’t ‘in’ on that yet). If he tries to go from Dick and Jane to serious reading material too quickly, his delicate sensibilities may not be able to tolerate it. Perhaps he can ‘volunteer’ someone to read to him. Just a suggestion.

          • Sirian

Yes, I agree, it is questionable as to whether or not he’s progressed beyond “Dick & Jane went up the Hill”.
LOL! Montana would be a good one, absolutely!!! The book you suggested is a very good one too. Yet, again, I hold serious doubts if he could fully understand it.

          • eddie47d

To make it clear SC eddie 47b is not not eddie47d. In case you are confused which is obvious on most days.

        • CanCan

Sirian, I agree with you! Cleon Skousen’s “Naked Communist” novel is an excellent book! When you read it, you can clearly see that America is heading down the same road. Another good book to read is Eugen Richter’s book “Pictures Of The Socialistic Future”, which you can find on Amazon.com. First written in 1898, with a publishing date of 1907, it clearly shows the utter failure of the system that the OWS protestors are in favour of, and some 100 years later. We humans truly never learn from history, the past, and our mistakes, that is for sure!

      • s c

e #1, if you can get together with e #2 and hb, perhaps the world can benefit from your vast pool of knowledge. If you hurry to California, maybe you can get some land and grow your own food.
That way, you won’t be complete parasites. Take some blankets. Don’t forget to tell your friends that America is evil and that only you and your ‘gods’ can save America from itself. Hurry, or the ‘rich’ comrades will get the best land.

  • Sirian

This is what you call negotiations? This is what you call peaceful protests? NO, this is what you call a bunch of useful idiots that are being used and haven’t a clue what the communist/Marxists will do with them in the end. Solution to this problem? Of course there is – very simple. Round them up, charge them with vagrancy, littering and tons of other finable charges. If they won’t pay their fines, load them up in city trucks and haul their butts out in the middle of the desert and leave them with two days of MRE’s. If any violence occurs, take care of it directly, without hesitation. In one way I feel for the protestors but overall, NO, they are being used and in the end it will effect everyone, nationwide, just as it did in Germany in the thirties.

    • eddie47d

Some of you should be more thankful that we have the right to assemble and protest yet you talk more about jailing and fire hoses. Your comparison to Germany is a sad reflection on how you think. Their “illustrious” leader would have done the same thing you are advocating but with much more force. That hardly makes you kinder and shows your willingness to use any means to dislodge free speech when there are disagreements in this country. That German leader would have been proud of you all. Another thing is that Free Speech and assembly can’t be bought. Maybe a compromise can be made but I can’t say I approve of that land deal. Dumping people out in the middle of no where is hardly a plan and more in tune to your fears of FEMA Death Camps. Would you be willing to give up your rights and sheepishly take the deal?

      • Sirian

OK, alright, I understand where you’re coming from – maybe. But if you don’t have a good knowledge of history then more than likely you aren’t as clear to the overall possibilities that are being laid out in front of all. Keep in mind, history does repeat itself and what we have going on now in a way is almost an identical replay of what happened before. Not exactly, but very, very similar. Are you willing and hopeful that what has taken place before occur again? Apparently so. . .

        • eddie47d

          Just the opposite.

      • http://heisco.net Patriot II

eddie, spoken like a true Liberal drinking the Liberal Kool-Aid.

Law abiding Demonstration IS NOT wnat these wrothless Thugs do. These are not Protestors when they Break the Law and cuase harm to business and the very progess that they are demanding.

They are not part of the solution they ARE THE PROBLEM!

        • eddie47d

I think you need to be more worried about the harm the Elites have done to this country instead of folks demanding that the Elites change their way. What flavor kool aid are you on!

          • BSG

            Cherry

      • Earl

Let’s turn this back around on you, Eddie47. What would YOU suggest doing?? Occupying city/county property and denying the use to those who aren’t demonstrators is not a long-term option! That is the simple truth of the matter. Time to get real and smell the coffee, Eddie.

I’ve been watching your posts for a loooong time, and sometimes you make sense, but mostly, you are a contrary, liberal, bleeding heart apologist for the Marxists who are intent on converting this nation to a fascist dictatorship. Make no mistake about it, that will be the final outcome….. A Former Hippie type who saw the light!!!

        • eddie47d

The protest itself will be short lived although it will come and go for awhile. Now that the message is out more good would come if they use other means to get their point across. Like what we are doing blogging and exchanging ideas. I’ve heard several here over the years saying they are going to storm the White House or surround Washington and take it over. Different strokes and methods for different folks.

    • s c

Sirian, I don’t know if you were around back during the ’60s, but those ‘demonstrators’ were basically clueless (like this herd), and they didn’t have a clue as to who or what the establishment is/was.
This episode of herd-like mental wimps may never understand that the ‘glorious leader’ is a part of the updated ‘establishment.’ If they had a clue, they’d be in front of the White House, and the rest of America would be spared the disgusting sight of bands of mindless, manipulated sheep who think they “care.”
A dumbed-down robot is a dumbed-down robot is a dumbed-down robot. Garbage in, garbage, out, as programmers say.

      • eddie47d

Maybe if you had paid attention back in the 60′s you would have realized that the Vietnam War was started under false pretenses. Yet you choose to condemn those who exposed that folly. You learned nothing which lead to many other “Vietnam’s” through the years. The Iraq war never would have gotten off the ground if lessons of foreign intervention were learned 45 years ago. The government trolls us in with many false flags and I was naive back then too but was wide awake for these future wars. SC makes claims that she is brilliant and wise in her words yet condemns those who expose the dastardly deeds of our war mongers and corporatists. You know that Military Industrial Complex that is hard at work slyly manipulating our senses and patriotic “duty”.

        • s c

e, here’s your test to see if you really understand what’s so wrong about American intervention. Foreign government intervention is wrong? Are we agreed? ALL foreign intervention? If we’re agreed, then HOW do you explain your W H ‘god’ intervening in Libya?
I suspect you couch your ‘principles’ in the way you define things. I can’t wait to hear how you’d weasel out of THIS one, e. Are you still protecting Obs at all costs – especially when he’s WRONG?

          • eddie47d

            Not on Libya I didn’t.

      • Sirian

First of all, sorry for the delay in responding, been tied up enjoying a good Thanksgiving dinner with my family. Now then, oh yes, I most certainly was around back in the sixties and was fully aware of what was happening. At that time specifically I was but a kid yet for some reason things didn’t seem right. Over the years since it has become very apparent to me as to what the quiet, behind the scenes movements and primary objectives have been. That alone is very disturbing as well as infuriating. Even more so, the majority of the populace is totally unaware of who, what and why the OWS’s are in various locations. L.A. is but one of many yet the entire fiasco is being backed by the same Marxist/Socialist organizations as well as Unions and of course, George Soros. Yes, I may have sounded a bit to “red neck” in what I said would be a fruitful solution to the problem but, being it as it may, in reality, if you give them an inch they will ultimately take much more than a mile. As said to eddie47 – if you aren’t well versed in history then you really don’t understand that it is repeating itself once more. It is disheartening that we have so many that prefer to remain in a total state of denial while at the same time we have the “useful idiots” being used and they don’t realize that at all.

  • http://google gary gerke

Los Angeles is treating them as if they have the right to disrupt daily business by turning the front of city hall into a garbage dump. These groups of protestors are pathetic and irrational, they are protesting apainst the very things that made America great.

If I were the mayor, I would turn the fire hoses on them on a daily basis!

    • http://DoULoveJesus.Wordpress.com Mark Dabney

You ASS U ME that what you are hearing from the TeoCons is correct – non-violent students being pepper sprayed was an unjustified and therefore unlawful act perpetrated by what are supposed to be law enforcement

  • http://DoULoveJesus.Wordpress.com Mark Dabney

This is a diverse group – any attempt to broad brush them will result in BLOWBACK just as when the Dems broadbrushed the Tea Party. They are egalitarian – which is what makes “negotiation” difficult- social dynamics make clear that some are by nature leaders and will make that nature clear just as many are followers – likewise they will make their nature clear – the same is true of the OTHER side of the Hegelian dialectic.

Sirian should be far less CAUSTIC – PRESUMPTUOUS AND JUDGMENTAL – they are NOT what the TeoCons make them out to be – your bigotry and self-righteous tone are repugnant.

    • Ted Crawford

Stalin had a brush that clearly fits them “Useful idiots”!

      • http://DoULoveJesus.Wordpress.com Mark Dabney

Based on what you are saying – your supposed ability to think for yourself is on hold – did you stop and consider that by dismissing that they have legitimate concerns and that they are being slandered YOU would be the useful idiot? You are right where Satan wants you: obsessed on someone else’s supposed error – while oblivious to your own.

          • Sirian

Could you please provide a full history of the “Swastika” symbol. Where it originated, and what various forms both have and are used. From you response it is obvious that you were referring to Hitlers National Socialist Party. Alright, that’s fine. So, provide a detailed expose’ as to why Hitler chose the Swastika to represent his party. Have you the where with all to accomplish that?

          • eddie47d

Why would it be necessary to present a history of the Swastika.Everyone knows it’s a symbol of hate and ugly rantings by the Nazi party.

  • http://google gary gerke

The Obama administration is supporting this rabble with Acorn in the background directing these protests.

Here is something to think about, a huge increase of protestors nation wide that turns very ugly and violent with brutal clashes with city and state officials that they deem unmanageable. Obama calls on the national guard to bring about order, he then institutes martial law and becomes Americas first dictator. As far fetched as this sounds it is possible, due to the fact he is fast becoming aware he is beatable in 2012

    • http://DoULoveJesus.Wordpress.com Mark Dabney

While Soetoro would like to co-opt the popular discontent – the sober fact is that one individual expressed the idea aptly when he said that unless certain criminal elements were fired from their government positions and others prosecuted for their fraud – Soetoro is NOT party to the 99%-ers other than phoney political posturing.

You make yourself look like a fool by blindly accepting political theater at face value – anyone that is not polarized in a left/right paradigm sees through the emptiness of political rhetoric.

Hmmmm. So the spirit of Neville Chamberlain is alive and well in the city of the pimped-out, plastic angels. In a way, its hilarious, as the ‘leaders’ of the LA community have to decide between having a spine and acting like they CARE about those OWSer airheads.
Folks, choose between being responsible or caving into those who don’t give one, single damn about being a functional part of your community. Gee, it must be tough to be a politician and have to use that thing between your ears or being pc in a state full of other pc Nazis.
It’s YOUR problem, losers. As a last resort, use some common sense. It’s on sale at Costco, WalMart, and Sam’s Club. If they’re sold out, contact me and I’ll give you names, phone numbers, and internet links. Losers.

While those intent on putting down on those expressing themself in a show of unity and so many think they should be placed in jails, etc I ponder at the thought if these are Constitution” backers and how the Constitution should be followed. What’s more, when the judicial system rules against those expressing their right to assemble, how long with it take before these rulings will continue on to the 2nd Amendment. Perhaps we should go into all the homes who are members of NRA and take their guns.

  • steve

That’s great! The group has no leaders. Some layer stands up, claims to be a leader and gets LA to give him farm land and office space, just for having the nerve to stand up and claim he is representing something that doesn’t exist. It is clearly past any thing some one in political office is able to understand, that a group of people doing something doesn’t have a leader whose word is binding on those surfs beneath them :) Give the lawyer his free land and office space. Very few of the protesters will leave :)

  • daniel

I may be wrong with all of the media bias that goes on and all. Worse yet this couldn’t be governmental bias could it? I do not for the life of me remember any city offering the Tea Party anything close to this. Oh well as long as they are serving a purpose of distraction so that the real agenda can be implemented.
By the way as past history has shown there will be demands for free seeds, water, fertilizer, equipment, maid service and yes even more free food. I will take odds on that.

    • eddie47d

So what is the real agenda Daniel? The offer was made by the establishment and the OWS would be foolish to take it.Bribery should not be on the table. The misdeeds of Wall Street,Banksters,Corporate greed,Big Pharma, health care price gouging, escalating cost of college tuition,CEO pay, Hedge Fund ponzi’s,Inside Trading, dirty politicians,do nothing politicians, war mongering Presidents and presidential candidates, lobbyists, back room deals, mortgage manipulators and scammers all need to be addressed. Stand together in fighting the abuses from the elite or kindly get out of the way.

Eddie free speech and assembly cant be bought, but it shure as hell can be lost by the sorry stupid acts of these brain dead apponents of other peoples rights. They are just being used by the Marxist jerks that is your leaders, to make it nessary to pass more laws to protect the people from this kind of lawlessness, thereby taking more rights and freedoms, You are seeing the beginning of totalitarism taking over this land. This all comes from upholding the underdog . those underdogs have brought everythjng they suffer on themselves.

What the occupiers should be demanding is three things.

    1. A 1% Wall Street tax. That being, on all wall street financial transaction!

    2. Stop all the foreclosures!

    3. Cancel all student loans. Let Wall Street eat them!

Warning! Watch out for Black-Block, anarchists!

Government Decides Who Protests At G20: Violent anarchists allowed to smash up buildings despite announcing target in advance, yet anti-poverty group barred from protesting.

    • Vicki

      Jay writes:
“What the occupiers should be demanding is three things.

      1. A 1% Wall Street tax. That being, on all wall street financial transaction!”

In case you are new to this world I thought I would point out that there already is a MUCH higher tax on all wall street financial transactions. Or were you just suggesting that the government steal an additional 1% from every exchange of money from one to another even if there is no “profit”.

Jay: “2. Stop all the foreclosures!”

That might be nice for all those who happen to own a home but for the rest of us it would mean NEVER owning one. Who in their right mind would lend money to buy a home knowing that they would probably never get it back.

Jay: “3. Cancel all student loans. Let Wall Street eat them!”

That might be nice for all those who happen to have spent all the student loan money they got but who in their right mind would loan a student money that they would never get back?

Oh and of course YOU would pick up the tab on one or both of the above costs because YOU the tax payer (unless you arn’t) will get the bill when the government bails out the “too big to fail” lenders. AGAIN.

    • http://google.com Rob

Jay, what gives you or anyone else the right to charge a 1% fee on all Wall Street Transactions. Who will be the recepiant? Obama must have come up with this. It’s nothing but another tax. This won’t help a single person all it will do is hurt the small investor. I’m not rich but I buy stock on Scottrade. If I had to pay the government another 1% fee it would be to expensive to invest in small caps.
Stop the Foreclosures? Why? Who is going to pick up this tab? The government doesn’t have any money and I sure as heck shouldn’t have to pay for some bum who bought a home they couldn’t afford. The majority of foreclosures are because of unqualified people got high mortgages they couldn’t pay but the Government forced the lenders to loan the money anyway. Too bad if they can’t pay. This is going to have to work itself out over time. The government needs to leave this alone.
Why should Student Loans be cancelled? You are nothing but a bunch of whining babies. Nobody can guarantee a job regardless of your degree. This is ridiculous. Taxpayers don’t owe you an education.
If you bums have student loans, you must not have studied because you know nothing about economics, government or finance. Just who is this “Wall Street” you want to eat your loans? American businesses don’t owe you a free education. The American People don’t owe you an education. The things you’re demanding are foolish. Corporations who trade stock on Wall Street haven’t hurt anyone. 99% are working on the up and up. There are always going to be crooks, look at you. All this OWS is a bunch of worthless bums black mailing businesses and government to pay for your existence. You jokers don’t even know who your mad at. GO HOME. All you are doing is costing taxpayers money we don’t have. You’re hurting families, small businesses and taxpayers.
Oh, tell Los Angeles I would like a free farm to live on with a nice house. Maybe they could throw in a few cows and a tractor or two. At least I would know how to work them.

      • Jay

Vicki and Rob, small and medium-sized investors would hardly notice such a tax, but major trading firms, such as Goldman, which reported $3.44 billion in profits during the second quarter of 2009, may see this as a significant threat to their profits. I say, F**K THEM!

It would have two benefits, raise a lot of revenue and discourage speculative financial activity.

As for the foreclosures, that’s what the bailouts were for. Why are the disgusting vampires, ghoul bankers, such as BMO, foreclosing and throwing families out on the street? This is nothing short of criminal!

Forgive Student Loans? Why not? We have a high unemployment rate, which means, people coming out of College and Universities have no jobs, and high debt. At the very least, freeze the damned interest charged to their debt! Of course, the blood-thirsty, greedy lenders won’t consider that. And that’s because they are nothing more than greedy excrement!

        • hitthedeck

They were your friends when they gave you loans when you needed the money to pay for an education and fast food, but when its time for a pay back you call them crooks and vampires. Since when does anyone owe you spoiled brats anything? A lot of kids worked their ass off to get an education and they are the ones that will lead this nation why your bunch is whining and crying for a free ride. Isn’t it nice to blame your lack of responsibility on others? May you freeze your asses off this winter in the north and get plenty of thunder storms on the west coast? You all should be ashamed of yourselves, but you have to have pride to feel shame, so that leaves you out.

          • Jacy

Nobody is asking for a free ride, hitthedeck. What we’re asking is that, the very ones who caused the economic crisis, through their fraudulent, greedy, self-serving, practises, and who had the audacity to request a bail-out, got it, and than proceeded to demand that the borrowers continue paying, double-dipping, should start paying their fare share of taxes!

(NEWSER) – General Electric is America’s biggest firm, but it’s not paying a dime in US taxes this year—instead, it has claimed a $3.2 billion tax benefit, the New York Times reports. Though it made a $14.2 billion profit in 2010, $5.1 billion of which was made here, GE’s aggressive accounting strategies and lobbying have, year after year, cut its tax burden on US profits. The reported figure is 7.4%, a third of what most American multinational firms pay—and thanks to offshore shelters, it’s even less in reality.

NEW YORK (TheStreet) — Bank of America (BAC_) will pay no Federal taxes for 2010, instead receiving a refund of $1 billion, the Charlotte Observer pointed out in an article published Friday. The bank told the newspaper the reason is that the bank lost $5.4 billion before taxes in 2010.

Nonetheless, a group called U.S. Uncut has been protesting at Bank of America branches around the U.S. and also at Bank of America’s investor conference earlier this month.

As TheStreet has pointed out in a series of articles, many banks and financial companies, as well as others that racked up big losses during the crisis will not be paying taxes for several years, even after they become profitable.

Both TheStreet and prominent hedge fund investor Bill Ackman have highlighted Citigroup(C_) as one prominent example of a company that will pay no taxes for years to come. Others include, Regions Financial (RF_)Synovus(SNV_), CIT Group(CIT_), AIG(AIG_) and General Motors(GM_).

Indeed, one of the big advantages of GM’s acquisition of AmeriCredit is that the car company will be able to “carry forward” its losses to shelter the profits of AmeriCredit, creating an estimated $3-5 billion windfall.

        Outstanding Rob, very well said!!

Let us see just how respectful these OWS people really are.
    http://occupywallst.org/article/occupy-oakland-calls-total-west-coast-port-shutdow/

SO to supposedly attack the “evil” 1% these people intend to disrespect the rights of MILLIONS of Americans by blocking access to commerce. Just how many of those 99% are willing to actually do something useful like hiring people to do useful work. Oh wait they are whining that they don’t have wealth to spend.

Of course if they would go get a job instead of protesting they might have some wealth to share thru the only fair way. starting a company and hiring others.

Here is the National Nurses United Statement in Support of the OccupyWallStreet.org actions in New York

    September 30, 2011

National Nurses United (NNU), the nation’s largest registered nurses union and professional association, representing 170,000 direct care RNs, stands in support of, and in solidarity with, the ongoing OcuppyWallStreet.org street protests and rallies.

We applaud the commitment, savvy and sacrifice exhibited by the multitude of students, union members, clergy, and many others from all walks of life who have come together to loudly and clearly place the blame for the nation’s pain where it belongs. Wall Street caused the financial crisis and we share your demand that Wall Street pay us back.

NNU nurses are leading the fight for a Main Street Contract for the American People. The Contract calls for meeting the basic needs of a civilized society and ensuring that all pay their fair share. Currently the wealthiest individuals and corporations do not pay that fair share. NNU is campaigning for a Financial Transaction Tax on Wall Street to help remedy that inequity.

As nurses, our motto in this fight is simple. “Heal America. Make Wall Street Pay!”

    • hitthedeck

Do you actually believe that we believe that you represent all the nurses out there who are law bidding and care takers of the sick and disabled? You are a mouthpiece for the Union bosses that take your dues to build their own power base. Are you such a fool that you think your union is a replacement for our constitutional form of government. You dam fools have became sheep and are shepherded by a group of people who would sell you out to justify their agenda of un-American activities. There is a right way to make justice work and the answer in not in the streets with a gang of mutable gangs with have different goals and none can come up with a solution. The solution is in Washington and the politicians are the ones that must be charged with ridding our system of corruption and if they don’t do it, replace them with people that will. Don’t stand with bully’s that are trying to shake down Americans for lunch money. Vote for those politicians that will put America on the right path.

      • Jacy

You’re a dumb bell hitthedeck, a parrot, an echo of the corrupt media, and a useful idiot of the very ones who will come after you next. Bur i suspect that you are nothing more than a wall street shill! You and the rest of the greedy worms are sickeningly, transparent!

        • hitthedeck

Your answer is typical of a regular big mouthed bully that has been hand fed by mommy and daddy and had your soiled diapers changed into your adulthood. You are not interested in making it own your own. You are a generational parasite that prefers to live on the people who work hard for a living. You go after those who got up and achieved a good living hard work which in turn made you look like a failure which you probably are. Your language is the language of a failure! May you wallow in your own excrement of ignorance where you have chosen to stay?

        • eddie47d

Enough of this crap about those working on the inside of Wall Street are hard workers. Man have you been duped.

  • hitthedeck

IS THERE A GOOD LAWYER IN THE HOUSE? The OWS gangs have sponsors pay rolling their activities and putting up bail every time any of them are getting arrested for following instructions on disrupting business and destroying public property. Its time for the local city governments get together with local business owners and file a joint action law suit against the sponsors of OWS for damages incurred for trash removal, lost revenues for security and overtime of law enforcement, lost revenues from local business and trash removal and sterilization of occupied areas. The evidence of who the sponsors are has been documented by the news media and members of OWS have stated who they are on nation wide media coverage. Unions and ACORN off spring organizations along with the American communist party have been identified as sponsors. Some landmark court decisions could put an end to the lawless factor of this movement. Peaceful demonstrations are a right of Americans but disruptive destructive and lawless demonstrators should be accountable for their actions. Punish them where it hurts the most—in the pocketbook.

  • California70

Here’s my suggestion, Prosecute George Soros for insider trading and ban him and his money from paying for all these subversive organizations and funding Marxism in this Country. Then these OWS’s wouldn’t have any backing nor would Villaragosa!

  • Jay

There seems to be a few idiots on this thread who are obviously mentally incapable of distinguishing between legitimate protestors, from, provocateurs, instigators, and anarchists. Choosing instead, to lump all together, and demonizing the entire movement. But, what else can one expect from hillbillies, and rednecks? A balanced perspective? An intelligent observation? Hardly!

    • libertytrain

I think I’ll prefer to consider myself a “redneck” and “hillbilly” than to be randomly grouped in with anyone else in such a tacky and uncouth manner.

    • hitthedeck

OK –if you are so intellectual who are they? Have you been down there within the gang of gangs to know who is legitimate and who is sponsoring their movement? You are among the intellectual want a be types that assume an answer rather than giving facts to answer a question. Would that be a good description of a Woolley type four legged creature that a dog can steer to a destination.

    • s c

jbird, you’ve convinced me. You’re related to ‘e.’ After re-reading your last rant, it’s obvious that you’re the holier-than-thou type of useful idiot utopian who is deathly afraid of opening a good dictionary.
Hypocrisy is your religion, and stupidity is your
favorite tool. In your own words, comrade, you imply that your bedmates are superior to any other group. You dare to insult and humiliate others, when your accusing description of ‘others’ also perfectly fits those you hold up as icons and textbook examples of perfection and infallibility.
Once a hypocrite, always a hypocrite, eh, comrade?
At this rate, comrade, you’ll never get out of high school. Forget a government-guaranteed loan for any degree you might want to ‘chase.’ There are no degrees offered in to-the-bone, paranoid schizophrenia.

      • eddie47d

Speaking of hypocrites SC I see you are grandstanding again as part of your daily routine. Since you attempt to insult and humiliate someone-anyone each and every day you have proven yourself well!

  • Roger.Canadian Libertarian

Sorry ,Eddie47d, I am presently in Uganda ,Africa and will be for 5 months.

    • eddie47d

That’s interesting Roger, will you be working for the oil companies, doing missionary work or on the lookout for Commander Kony? Stay safe!
