Obama’s Women

January 16, 2013 by

Obama’s Women
UPI FILE
It isn't unusual to find senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, left, with Michelle and Barack Obama. Jarrett is a fixture at the White House.

I wrote this headline to get your attention. The truth is that President Barack Obama is nothing like President John F. Kennedy. He isn’t even like President Bill Clinton, who pretended to be Kennedy by chasing young interns around the Oval Office instead of sleeping with Hollywood starlets or mob bosses’ girlfriends.

Instead, Obama has a much more complex relationship with women who put the Nation in greater jeopardy than any women who were friends of Kennedy or Clinton. (Fair warning: If you are a women’s rights activist, please stop reading. Otherwise, I will have to wade through all your hate email.)

Obama is no cad; he is, as Arnold Schwarzenegger might say, “a girly man.” He is not strong enough to take a leadership role as President, but instead lets two women run his life and the country. In this way, the President is a weakling reminiscent of King Edward VIII, the man who doted on Wallis Simpson’s every wish. He is not like President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who had a dalliance with his driver, Capt. Kay Summersby, while he was the Supreme Allied Commander.

I have nothing against women as leaders. I would prefer Hillary Clinton as President to Obama. What I don’t like is a man with responsibility who hides behind the designer dresses of women. And, my friends, this is the man and President that Obama is.

Exhibit A: Valerie Jarrett

Late last year, Richard Minter, a New York Times bestselling writer, released his newest book, Leading From Behind.

The book jacket tells much:

Leading from Behind reveals a president who is indecisive, moody, and often paralyzed by competing political considerations. Many victories–as well as significant failures–during the Obama presidency are revealed to be the work of strong women, who led when the president did not: then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi; Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; and Valerie Jarrett, his closest adviser and an Obama family confidante, whose unusual degree of influence has been a source of conflict with veteran political insiders.

Minter focuses on Jarrett, saying she has a “Rasputin-like” hold over Obama. According to Minter, Jarrett is the kingpin in the Obama Administration and she has misused “her extraordinary access” to the President. Upon further research, I discovered she has full-time Secret Service protection and a staff of nearly three dozen.

Born to American parents and raised for the first five years of her life in Iran, Jarrett shares many of the same principles Obama has regarding the future and diminished role for the United States.

Jarrett is an African-American intellectual who launched the careers of both the first lady and the President beginning in the early 1990s. She influences foreign and domestic policies of the President, from Obamacare to his staunch anti-Israel position.

They are reportedly kindred spirits and, while Jarrett has managed to stay under the liberal media’s radar, Minter’s book has flushed out the truth about this woman:

Jarrett’s White House role is unprecedented. She meets privately with the president at least twice a day with no one else present. Her influence is enormous and wide-ranging. She wields informal power, like a first lady; scheduling power, like a chief of staff; and power over policy, like a special envoy.  She has the unusual freedom to put herself in any meeting she chooses and to set the priorities as she sees fit. When The New York Times’s Robert Draper asked Obama if he “runs every decision past her,” the president answered immediately: “Yep. Absolutely.”

Every decision?

Yes, Jarrett’s scope is as unlimited as it sounds. She has “wide latitude over how she spends her day” and that makes her “close to omniscient.”

Exhibit B: Michelle Obama

This comes from People magazine. (I admit that while my wife buys it, I do read it — or at least look at the pictures.) People recently published its special year-end edition which included a long interview in which Obama seems fixated about his wife and daughters. Included among the many photos of the President and the first lady is one with this cutline: “’ANGLE, ANGLE!’ Mrs. Obama (with the President in the Palm Room Dec. 6) tried to position her husband just so. ‘He has only one good side.’”

On May 14, Obama was speaking to graduates of Bernard College: “You can be stylish and powerful, too. That’s Michelle’s advice.”

The first lady’s hands-on style may be far more ambitious than just passing on advice.

Last month, actor Samuel L. Jackson came out as a supporter of Michelle Obama as a Presidential candidate. Jackson, an outspoken liberal who favors greater government involvement in poor urban areas, told Newsweek that the first lady is a “Superwoman” who could hold any office she wants.

If Michelle Obama were to run for the highest office, her campaign would likely be orchestrated by the person who mentored her in Chicago, Jarrett.

Newsweek reported that James Clyburn, a high ranking African-American member of the House, also can see Michelle Obama in office.

“She’s honest and straightforward, which is not what you see in Washington much. She is exactly what we need around here,” he said.

So far, Michelle Obama has denied any political ambitions; but, then again, Hillary Clinton made similar claims.

Most first ladies have considerable influence over their husbands. Nancy Reagan was perhaps President Ronald Reagan’s only close personal friend. And while Nancy Reagan was protective of her husband and even had some top advisers fired, she stayed on the periphery of the Presidency, using her influence to help people “just say no” to drugs.

I am not claiming that the first lady should not be the first and strongest backer of her husband. What I am saying is that we do not cast our vote for the first lady; we cast it for her husband.

My question: Just when you think the end is in sight (regrettably, that will be four years from now), is it possible for the Obama family to remain in the White House for another eight years beyond the end of Barack Obama’s Presidency? It is conceivable that there is enough support for Michelle Obama to make a run at the White House in the 2016 election. Her odds may be slim, but the potential exists to stretch the Obamas’ reign to the year 2024.

I wonder whether either the Clintons or the Obamas have found the loophole around the 22nd Amendment. Passed on March 21, 1947, and ratified by the States in 1951, it limited a President to two four-year terms. It was a different era; I doubt anyone gave consideration to the idea that Bess Truman would extend the Truman Presidency another eight years.

Regardless of what may happen four years from now, we are stuck with Barack Obama, a President who, according to friends and critics, is unusually closeted and who is influenced too much by two women in his White House. Who would think that when it came to Presidential politics we would miss Marilyn Monroe?

Yours in good times and bad,

This is one of the worse peices of so called commentry EVER. It’s a joke. Arnold te former gov of California…Who cheated on his wife with a miad who was not attactive at all Please Not facts at all in this peice LOL

      • Gary L

Would it have been alright if the maid was a knock-out? Are you eally claiming there are NO FACTs at ALL in this piece?

      • Flashy

Actually Gary… it would . my first reaction in re: Clinton was ” C’mon Bill…really? ”

It’s a sociological fact. Good looking spouses create a higher level of esteem with people. As well, in affairs…if the paramour is good looking and not one who swims after troop ships 9i’m talking guys for this point), the public is far more accepting. just look at two recent cases. Sanford of S. Caroline…love and she was easy on the eyes. He has a good shot at a political comeback. Versus Petraeus, yeah..she’s also easy on the eyes….but a camp follower by the accounts being written on her. Public reaction was ‘have a nice day. you did a good job’ and without pause forgot about him as any significance from here on….

Right or wrong i make no judgment. But it does make a difference to general society at large

      • cawmun cents

Yeah,a six time Mr.Olympia, movie star and former governor of California needs to improve his self esteem by wearing a good looking woman on his sleeve.
That is what makes liberals far less likely to be intelligent, their capacity for making dufus statements that mean nothing.
You people are so full of yourselves, you actually think you are smart.
        Hilarious.

You’re the one discussing Herr Gropenfuhrer, not me.

      • sam1966

How about Bill “I did not have sex with that woman” Clinton cheating on Hitlery every chance he got? Can’t blame him though, as Hitlery is no beauty contest winner and is very controlling. How about Jessie Jackson who had an affair and a child with his secretary? How about Barney Frank who rented an apartment for his queer lover? How about Congressman Weiner from NY and his dastardly deeds? How about Obama bin Laden visiting gay clubs, in which the 2 he was seeing died? Sheesh! You all seem to have enough of this thing going on on your side of the fence. I guess you all don’t believe in removing the beem in your eye before trying to remove the mote in another person’s eye. Just like the 5th column to keep insinuating that the problem only lies on the conservative side of the fence. Tisk, tisk, tisk. Here is something about how the 5th column and Obama bin Laden are waging a vicious war on women:

OK, Mr. Faque biblical scholar, how many commandments did you break in those 3 sentences? Didn’t somebody say something about he who is without sin? You are an arrogant, holier-than-thou prick who is the least “Christ-like” person I’ve ever encountered. Of course, you do have the stupidity defense to fall back on. But since you’re excoriating every Democrat who ever had an affair, what about Newt and that “scumbag” Dan Burton? What about that whoremonger Vitter from Louisiana? Aren’t you under orders to put people like that to death?

      • http://naver samurai

Sheesh Jeff! Since the above posts talked about conservatives, per se, having affairs, I just went and listed those to the leaft of center. Thought the ones you mentioned did have affairs, but none of them were as bad as John Edwards waiting for his wife to die so they could be together. Here is something saying that Obama bin Laden has escalated the war on women and the unborn, by making mandatory for all to pay for these things in Obama bin Laden Care.

You don’t need facts, obummer-lover….just look at the peops around this phony so-called leader of “jello”. If your taste in women is like Obozo’s, your wall pics can’t compare to old fashioned wallpaper. You would have a better chance of selecting from a line-up of women in berka’s.

        • Deerinwater

nickkin are you qualifying women for every man now? ~ How did you acquire this special skill?

I’m more of a Nicole Kiddman kinda guy myself ~ even with a Burka ~ I believe that they detach. See what you can come up with ~ I hadn’t had much luck with her and the line has been long.

        • Jeff

Can you possibly be as shallow and stupid as you appear? I doubt it. You prefer Sarah, I suppose. She’s easy on the eyes but tough on the ears. Sometimes confuses Antarctica with Arabia.

Sounds a lot like Clinton. People would take your comments more serious if you could spell correctly.

        Maybe Arnie’s maid swallowed? :)

      • MrsCd

Oh, you forget one point Craig, Schwartzneggar married a Liberal Democrat’s daughter, a Kennedy, and being married into that family, he was greatly influenced by their liberal thinking, their immoral actions (affairs with beautiful, flirtatious women), their love for hiding political actions from the public, and their love for spending money, so he became more Democrat in his way of thinking in the last few years, taking a government into the red of debt, especially after becoming the governor of California, even though he called himself a Republican. (At least Reagan stayed true to his position as a Republican when he was the governor of California, then as President of the United States).

        • Jeff

Are you SURE you can’t pin Herr Gropenfuhrer’s affairs on Obama because blaming it on Kennedy is just so passe.

    • Robert Smith

About Kennedy: “instead of sleeping with Hollywood starlets or mob bosses’ girlfriends.”

“United States President John F. Kennedy was one of the best-known Addison’s disease sufferers. He was possibly one of the first Addisonians to survive major surgery.[15] Substantial secrecy surrounded his health during his years as president.[16]”

      From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Addison%27s_disease

Add in his back problems, etc. and it’s a recipee for not much of a sex life at all.

It’s time to get history right rather than working to run down Kennedy and his accomplishments.

      Rob

      • burt

Well…ask Marylin Monroe about your hero (use your Ouija board)

      • Gary L

Very interesting about the Addison’s disease however impertinent to the discussion.
Speaking of his history though, he did have some great accomplishments. One of the greatest was stifled when the FED had him killed.

The Kennedys have proven over many generations to be nothing but a sorry bunch of three-boat, bog-trotting Irishmen of no distinction whatsoever. As far as facts, there are only 2 you need to know right now — one deme, of sub-Saharan origin, has an average IQ below 80 (this is known as ‘stupid’); and this same breeding population congenitally lacks effective impulse-control (this is known as ‘evil’).

        • Jeff

          Jacobite:

I know with your superior intelligence (85 IQ at least), you may have overlooked this, but your racist post tells us everything we need to know about you.

      • sam1966

You are right about JFK having addisons disease Rob. You have scored some good points with the Samurai. He did do many good things in office, but he was killed for standing up against the Bilderbergs and their dastardly plans for this country. It would not be impossible for him to be intimate with women. They just would have to change positions. Why did Marylin Monroe die? Because of her affair? Because she was trying to get JFK away from his mob connections? Well, we’ll never know, now will we? Here is something about 5th columners ignoring injuries suffered by a woman after a botched abortion. More war being waged against women by the 5th columners:

Of all the coments about Clinton, and Oblunder the homo, with two masculine women in charge, why can’t you see this as factual. His interest is in himself, he’s a narcist, devoid of anything else except the thirst, and hunger for power, and dominance. As for Clinton, would you find it unbelievable, that he would have state troopers pull over female drivers in Arkansas, and if they were young and attractive, they got a ficticious ticket, and brought to the governors mansion, where they could post an enormous bond or go talk turkey with the governor Bill. And back Oblunder, for all you blind liberals, I quote for you ” I have one more election, and then I will have more flexibility”. You ever wonder about that? I think you should, because your going down with the rest of us.

        • Jeff

“Of all the coments about Clinton, and Oblunder the homo, with two masculine women in charge, why can’t you see this as factual. His interest is in himself, he’s a narcist,”

          MISTER Tibbs:

I don’t need to read anymore to know you are a buffoon. Is “narcist” a Southern expression meaning the poster is an illiterate moron? Learn to think and not just accept every nonsensical thing that gets printed in the Enquirer or on some Breitbart site. Breitbart was to journalism what Bernie Madoff was to money management.

      • nickkin

If Kennedy had back problems, then all he had to do was lay back and take it. Much different was his other relative that used a car for kinky sex in the river. Kennedy’s know for their inventive ways.

    • Flashy

      I agree Doc.

Notice how PLD will swear they don’t carry the GOP line, that there are always comments about the “left/right paradigm? ? Yet…it gets personal when focused on the Moderates…and just overall generalities and policy issues when it gets close to criticizing the GOP and the extremists.

Place a female in the mix and masculine insecurities rage out in the open.

Ah well …. it’s apparent the extremists are being pard down to a hard core small group qhich s quickly losing power and voice. Expect the nit picking to increase, the yelling to grow louder, and their impact to diminish. Already we see it. the complaints about being treated as children, the increaed gerrymandering, playing with election laws, suppressing the vote. They talk about wanting to have the “voice of the People’ speak and have sway…yet they support every act and policy which suppresses the voice.

Funny thing, the extremists don’t realize the damage they have done to the Conservative Cause and that impact will be for a generation, minimal. .

      • DavidL

Right again, Flashy and Doc. The conservatives are so out of touch they don’t even know they’re ignorant. As Aristotle said, “….to not know but yet think you do is the greatest disease.” If the conservatives of the bat-crap-crazy crowd continue as they have, their condition is going to kill them. That process has already begun as evidenced by recent elections and by this and other ridiculously ignorant articles appearing on this site. So be it. That end can’t come to soon for me. Our country has many difficult problems to solve and it needs educated and intelligent adults in the room. All adults, men and women. I want the moderate Republican Party back. That party was genuinely fiscally conservative and socially progressive.

      • sam1966

I see that Flashy and David L are up to their old tricks of the personal attack. Classic 5th column strategy. I see that they, the 5th columners are the one that are out of touch with reality. You are wrong Flash, as Sook Young and I always try to help our fellow man, and woman, as much as we can. Here is some good news on the 5th columns war against women. It seems that God is answering many prayers.

        http://www.lifenews.com/2013/01/16/after-40-years-of-abortion-pro-lifers-are-making-progress/

I’ll bet that if I stacked up everything Sook Young has done in her life against your wives, Sook Young would come out on top. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! 하나님하고 나라를 위해서!

You need both love of country and faith in God to be a patriot. This leaves you 2 out.

“There are three points of doctrine…which forms the foundation of all morality…the existence of God…the immortality of the human soul; and…a future states of rewards and punishments. Suppose it possible for a man to disbelieve either of these three articles of faith…that man will have no conscience.”

        John Quincy Adams

*Boy was he right about you 2.

Really Doc? Asking women to pay for their own birth control is a “war on women”? The real war is on MEN! There is no affirmative action for men (even though women outnumber men in colleges), there is no VAMA (even though we see countless numbers of women abusing and mutilating men, plus men are laughed at on public TV when they are mutilated), fathers are torn away from their kids in corrupt divorce courts, sperm donors are being forced to pay child support (even to lesbian couples), men look like fools and buffoons on TV (while women look heroic).

Get your facts straight and grow up!

      • Flashy

Asking women to pay for their own birth control is a “war on women”?
—- Ummmm…I’d say you have a point except Viagra etc is covered under the mandate. The attempt to do away with covering Viagra was snuffed in the GOP dominated House Committees.

There is no affirmative action for men
—Untrue. Men are also protected from sexual discrimination in the workforce, in public arenas etc. Just because there aren’t many cases which men could press doesn’t mean there isn’t the program available. My personal opinion is that AA has run its course as an effective policy in re: gender, but the flip side is that with the talk going on by conservative talking heads, politicians, influential persons…it is apparent it continues to be needed as a safeguard.

fathers are torn away from their kids in corrupt divorce courts,
        — this is so untrue and not deserving of further comment.

sperm donors are being forced to pay child support (even to lesbian couples),
        — huh? Anonymous sperm donors ordered to pay child support? Methinks you’ve been getting your news from the Weekly World news after the usual Batboy articles. think it through…if the male is getting hit up on child support, h has the right to ask for custody, shared custody, etc. if someone were going for a sperm donor, do you really honestly believe they will open the door for a total stranger to have such access and impact in the child’s upbringing?

men look like fools and buffoons on TV (while women look heroic).
—- Switch the channel to something else. There are plenty of shows which are just the opposite.

      • rendarsmith

Flashy, Viagra is due to a medical condition not birth control, condems would be the equivalent, and men pay for their own. Nice try, but no cigar. Let me further add that women have the option to bail out of pregnancy by killing the child, but men are legally forced to support the child financially. Men’s financial responsibility is upheld while women’s responsibility to let the child can be shunned. Who has more power here?

Sexual discrimination? I’m talking about AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, you know, accepting college students based on their skin and their genitals. There is NONE for men.

fathers are torn away from their kids in corrupt divorce courts,
        — this is so untrue and not deserving of further comment.

        Really? PROVE IT!!

These men would disagree with you. You only say that because you know you have no valid argument so you are trying to quickly dismiss it so you don’t embarrass yourself.

men look like fools and buffoons on TV (while women look heroic).

Ok, which shows? Show me where we saw men laughing at women who were mutilated.

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91O3wDSy_HE

Just about every daytime and evening TV show makes men look like idiots, it’s even spreading to kids’ cartoons. Let’s make some shows where the women look like idiots and let’s see if the women change the channel or try to get the government to intervene. I’m betting on the latter. You know that if there was such a show there would be a media uproar. Look at what happened with Rush Limbaugh’s Sandra Fluke comment. The misandric clip I showed you above got no media attention at all.

Seriously, next time do some homework and get your facts straight before you comment. You’ll embarrass yourself less.

      • cawmun cents

Except that Viagra is covered because it pertains to the medical condition of erectile dysfunction.
Not to a condition of whether you are protecting yourself from pregnancy, which is not a medical condition, but a naturally occuring one.
A perfect example of liberal thought in action.
Like those needing viagra(that cetainly isnt me),Flashy is flaccid in his comprehension of reality,so he fails to score in his point of attack.
Way to come up short again Flashy…a condition I am sure you are familiar with.
        -CC.

        rendarsmith says:

Flashy, Viagra is due to a medical condition not birth control,

Comment: Ummm…and this ‘medical condition” is? C’mon…it’s not a dirty word…SEX. now, if you’re gonna argue that abstinence isn’t an effective birth control method, I’m to amazed and at a loss for words. If you’re going to say it has other medicinal uses other than sex, I’ll point out that many birth control pills have beneficial medical uses outside of birth control. C’mon Sparky … tell us how men should be able to “get it up” and have me pay for their nighttime jollies while women can’t have health insurance coverage for birth control.

Either or…not just one omitting the other.

Let me further add that women have the option to bail out of pregnancy by killing the child, but men are legally forced to support the child financially. Men’s financial responsibility is upheld while women’s responsibility to let the child can be shunned. Who has more power here?

Comment: Ummm…if you refer to child support obligations, are you making the case that the custodial parent isn’t paying anything for the child? If one engages in unprotected sex, one takes his chances. no comment on your inane “killing the child” hysteria …
        ============
Sexual discrimination? I’m talking about AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, you know, accepting college students based on their skin and their genitals. There is NONE for men.

Ummmm…AA is more than racial. It began as racially based, and has morphed. Which is wy i think it ran its course. But then, as I state, the recent comments by all along the Right spectrum shows whatever the basis, AA is still needed.

        Really? PROVE IT!!

        http://www.fathersandfamilies.org/

These men would disagree with you. You only say that because you know you have no valid argument so you are trying to quickly dismiss it so you don’t embarrass yourself.

Comment: Give me a break. i’ll put up a site and you can go fight the fur farmers. same impact. Yeah..some get screwed in child cases…on both sides. it’s a screwed up system, but not jury rigged as you want to make it out. Been there, done that. We all have stories..both sides.

        ===
sperm donors are being forced to pay child support (even to lesbian couples),
        — huh? Anonymous sperm donors ordered to pay child support? Methinks you’ve been getting your news from the Weekly World news after the usual Batboy articles. think it through…if the male is getting hit up on child support, h has the right to ask for custody, shared custody, etc. if someone were going for a sperm donor, do you really honestly believe they will open the door for a total stranger to have such access and impact in the child’s upbringing?

        http://www.learnvest.com/2013/01/kansas-orders-sperm-donor-to-pay-child-support-123/

Do I need to go into this further? Might want to do some homework before you comment next time.

Comment: You still haven’t addressed the issue you are trying to raise. the article yu pasted has a known man, not anonymous. There were doctors reports saying “no way you are gong to be fit parents’ so they went to Craigslist fer chrissakes. AND the guy signed a paper about the AI. To top it off, he can’t prove he didn’t get laid because no doctor performed the AI. “…the donor signed upon donating is that the insemination wasn’t done under the supervision of a physician.”

Now, think this through…if there wasn’t a Dr to do any AI…just how the heck did those little spermoids get at the egg to fertilize it? Hmmmmmm ….. let me see….

men look like fools and buffoons on TV (while women look heroic).
—- Switch the channel to something else. There are plenty of shows which are just the opposite.

Comment: Well…Rush did come across the fool. he was and is. . i can’t help you here, I don’t watch TV that much.

Seriously, next time do some homework and get your facts straight before you comment. You’ll embarrass yourself less.

Sheesh Falsh! You never heard of erectile dysfunction? You claim it is only because of sex? Viagra is needed to temporarily correct this medical condition and help the man to perform, maybe even getting the wife pregnant. BCPs are not healthcare, nor is it essential for a woman’s performance. Women are to have children, after they are married of course, and BCPs only delay this process. Ergo, not needed. Here is something good about how this operation could save many innocent children from being aborted:

Doc, what do you smoke? Conservatives have no war on women, matter of fact most of them are married to their one and only wife, you libs are the ones who have a war on women, you think sharia law is a good thing, NOW is left wing and they don’t talk against sharia law? Abortion hurts women at the time or after and your all for it. The left hates women, children and anything moral, that is the reason I left that party, even booed God at the convention, so add him to the list of left wing hate list. Get a life, your a Doc of evil and your lies will someday catch up with you.

Divorce rates are higher in the Red States than in the Blue. In 2008, the only Republican candidate for president with only one wife was the Mormon. Clearly, actual women saw the Republicans’ policies toward them and their concerns differently from you.

      • Guest

Sorry Jeff. It’s not that simple. The divorce rate in blue states is lower because there are fewer marriages among their occupants in the first place.

      • sam1966

Well said Guest. Keep up the good fight. Hey Jeff, care to cite a source on that, or is this just another chance for you to attack a patriot? You scored some points with the Samurai on this one. Jesus would have helped her out, that’s true, but he would not have advocated for her to get pregnant 15 times by different men. Remember, we were founded on such beliefs as self reliance and personal responsibility. I guess the 5th column, to include you, do not believe in that. Jesus also would have forgiven her sins, but he would have told her, “God and sin no more.” Take the hint Jesus said in this short passage. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! 하나님하고 나라를 위해서!

The grandest intimidation dance secures any winners manly position, which is measured in length of captured attention, overall noise level, height and thickness of the dust cloud, the volume and distance of spit and it’s general knock down power, how disguising the scratching of ones own nuts can be and just how long anyone will allow them to hump their leg divided by collateral damage.

This whole thread on “manliness” is a big joke ~ and you are scoff at my selecting of being verbs ~ ?????? While John Myer’s is making the claim the most powerful position in the US government is a puppet to a passion kitty in a designer dress? Basically, little more than a left handed attack on the First Lady. ~ Seem we have Nero playing the violin while Rome burns.

Being Verbs???? There are so many!

Am, is are , was , were, have, had, has, do, did, done, may, might, must, will, would, shall, should ,can’t ,could.

Why don’t you take you right wing anal retention and focus it on something that really matters?

The GOP had sold out to the highest bidder ~ while your little Tea Party was not even formed until after the fact ~ It’s only now you want responsibility in government after wasting 7 trillion dollars and 12 years in a huge cat box. Something I watched happen with fanfare and plastic flag waving from the Christian Collation and Conservative Right.

Since it’s creation, this Tea Party of yours has not once addressed in any meaningful way addressed lobbying activities and the effects of influence peddling on the HILL. Which telsl me, ~ the Tea party is just an extension of the GOP and the only thing that the Tea Party wants is “Status Quo” restored while they talk today about presidential Manliness and how a designer dress on a Couch Kitty is being used as a weapon of mass destruction.

Now if you can’t find a little humor in all of that ~ you are too easily distracted and deserving whatever life presents you in particle and sum.

John Myer has basically attacked all women ~ with this piece of hatchet work. ~ that it is so counter productive and he or his following fail to see it ~ is the joke for the day.

Never interfere when the enemy is attempting to destroy itself and I should perhaps leave you alone but I don’t see the GOP as the enemy as the GOP has it’s part to play in national politics. ~ Our systems of government depends on worth opposition.

I am only attempt to restore the “worthiness” of the GOP with my banter and mix it up with anal retentive meat heads like you John.

Give me a reason John ~ besides a poorly chosen being verb to reach out to you.

Spitting cobra politics blinds everyone and makes our leaders stumble around using intellectual sonar to find their group. The purpose of politics is to set purposeful, healthy and beneficial policy to govern the life of the nation under God. Our nation has exhibited the symptoms of epilepsy and we are experiencing the violence of seizures. Our collective will has seized up as played out in the media with skilled actors from every discipline. What the people see shapes how they think and perverts their judgement and turns them away from stable government [1.] in the home, [2.] in the communities, [3.] in the institutions of education and [4.] in our state regional and national centers of governance. Uncle Sam may not be able to pay his bills because of fiscal constipation brought on by a lack of liquidity. Money is like water and if you cut back on drinking and continue to eat big meals
you will seize up the system. The nation becomes dysfunctional if it is not feeling well enough to get up and be about its business. When the parents fight in front of the children the children learn to be violent. This is also true of nations internally and internationally. It takes a global village to raise a nation. It can be raise through nurturing or it can be raised to the ground and removed like a cancer on mother earth by God. There is nothing new under the sun but time is growing short. When nations turn into hungry zombies they canalize other nations. Feed your enemies and do not become their food.

Just because someone has observations + opinions about a few females does NOT make it a ‘war on women’. I’ve, often, wondered who the hell this Valerie Jarrett is and why she is making decisions that affect the country. We (the rigged machines) did not vote for her! Pretty boy O is, probably, afraid of her and of his wife.

It’s funny that JFK was brought up because I was thinking, just today, that king O and JFK are VERY MUCH alike. Both TOTAL FAKES-do/say whatever is needed for the moment, to hell with facts/truth. JFKs’ father had a ‘life principal’ that he drilled into his kids, “It doesn’t matter what you REALLY are, it only matters what people THINK you are.” In other words, it’s totally OK to be a lying, manipulating fake. The two (O + JFK) are very similar.

This reminds me of something that occurred during our Muslims’ first four years; I made a negative comment about the ‘fake in chief’. A black guy accused me of racism, of course!!! I said, “Well, if that’s the case then I’m racist against whitey, too. I said the same type of things about Kennedy and Clinton-only worse!!” I went on to tell him that under his conclusion, he would have to consider the entire country racist against whites because (some) people have been ‘bad-mouthing’ presidents since the very beginning. The guys’ victimhood was taken away, so, he just kind of grunted and walked away.

He probably can’t bowl or swill beer as well as you can either, but I’ve seen his jump shot. Looks pretty good to me for a guy in his early 50s. I guess basketball is too girly a sport for a real man like you. What do you do – kill caged birds like your masculine hero, Dick Cheney?

      • momo

Hey Jeff, hit a nerve, eh? What does “a real man” like you do, play with yourself?

        • Jeff

      • Left Coast Chuck

So who is going to play jungle ball with the president with the S.S. standing on the sidelines? Sure, he is free to play the kind of street ball he wants and his opponents have to stand there and say, “Good drive, Mr President.” Get real, flashy.

        • Jeff

You’re the 2nd bigot named Chuck I’ve run across on these blogs. What is it about that name?

      • Flashy

“So who is going to play jungle ball with the president with the S.S. standing on the sidelines? Sure, he is free to play the kind of street ball he wants and his opponents have to stand there and say, “Good drive, Mr President.” Get real, flashy.” <— Left Coast Chuck

Given you can see him take some pretty good shots when he drives the lane, i don't think it's one sided and a 'hands off' rule system. . thoughm you can tell he's not one for posting up or scrapping for the rebound. He favors face up, mid to outside and for the long rebound. but he has that sawheeet move when he plays up top , that half step to the right then sweeps in left side for that one handed mid key arching floater … And watch him play D. Slightly off center taking away the strong side drive, blocking the easy passing lanes, feet should width and balanced… the guy plays ball, ya at least gotta give him that.

        • Jeff

I think Left Coast Chuck plays only those “manly” sports like bowling and slow pitch soft ball, both excuses for drinking beer. And don’t forget hunting a la Cheney (aka shooting caged birds). Only a real man can do those things. I guess “jungle sports” are those that require actual athletic ability?

Why does the movie "The Big Lebowski" come to mind ….

      • tgeer

Bowling and slow pitch softball are not easy sports.

I grew up around the lanes. And as I got older I joined teams. Bowling is not easy and it takes skill. There are very few people who make a good living with it. Earl Anthony was one of them. (I still miss watching bowling on tv on Saturdays)

Slow pitch softball is, also, not an easy sport. It just looks that way. It takes a great deal of skill to pitch a slow pitch game. It’s much easier to pitch fast.

        • Jeff

Clearly, to be really good at anything requires skill and a lot of work. If you can bowl 250, you’re not the kind of beer-drinking “bowler” I was describing. The difference between bowling and basketball is that you don’t need to be an awesome basketball player to get a good amount of exercise by playing. I occasionally enjoy bowling; I was using it as a metaphor for people who criticize Obama’s “manliness.”

Are you speaking from personal experience? Or do you just know because “real men” speak in grunts rather than complete sentences? Or is it that Obama doesn’t have a beer gut and spend 8 hours a day on a bar stool? Or is it he doesn’t have a gun rack on his limo?

      • nobodysfool

Best president since FDR?? Well, if you skip Truman, Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and GWBush, you’d be right. Notice I left Carter out because I’ll bet you wet your panties over him too. You, eddieteddie, flashydashy, dockywocky and all your commie buddies, aka comrades, probably can’t walk for the tingling in your legs! And to an earlier comment you stupidly made without thinking first, you noted that the divorce rate is higher in the red states than the blue. That is due to the fact that welfare recipients do not bother to get married and therefore, no divorce is necessary before they move to the next sex partner. Get it? No marriage = no divorce. Welfare recipients are the ones who turned states blue, along with the fraudulent votes that propelled him into his second term. How much does the State pay you commies to come on this site and throw out your stupid comments?? Someone gave one of you an estimated IQ of at least 85. I would say more like 79-81 for all of you commies on here, combined. Oh, since this is the case, let me just tell you, you need to change those panties after you’ve wet them. You get to stinking after a few days. And maybe start wearing a bib, too, for the drool.

        • Jeff

Your Mom probably told you you were just as smart as those other kids, the ones who didn’t drop out of school and marry a gun. She may have been an honest woman, but she lied about that one.

      • Fred

Apparently, the purpose of this blog is stereotype guys who disagree with you – very, very efective.

        • Jeff

          Fred:

My post is directed at those folks so anti-Obama that they resort to junior high school gossip about him and his prowess, both athletic and otherwise. Take it for what it’s worth.

      • sam1966

Sheesh! You mean that your mom let you out of the sanitarium they had you penned up in Jeff? It is not that we are so anti Obama bin Laden, it is that he is so anti-America, along with you other members of the 5th column. Here is another thing the 5th column wants in this country:

        http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/01/10/CA-birthrates-crater

FOR GOD AND COUNTRY! 하나님하고 나라를 위해서!

Doesn’t your Book say something about not lying? You’re citing Breitbart – the journalistic equivalent of Bernie Madoff? Another sin for Faque. And you fail to render unto Caesar even when the leader was duly elected. You refer to him in a most disrespectful way. Jesus won’t like that. You’ll go to Faque Purgatory.

      • sam1966

Speaking of lying Jeff, when are you going to stop? Just another chance to personally attack the Samurai. When is this student ever going to grow up? Here is something about what many Americans think about Obama bin Laden:

          Faque:

As long as you call people names, presume to tell everyone whether they’re patriotic and presume to speak for God, you are fair game. I can’t imagine a teacher having such an arrogant attitude. I hope the kids give you HELL every day.

      • sam1966

Wrong, wrong, wrong Jeff. First, God speaks for Himself, I do not. That’s your first lie. Second, you are the one guilty of name calling, for as you noticed, my language has come down quite a bit since I started here 4 years ago. That’s your second lie. Third, look in the mirror for the arrogant nonsense. That’s your third lie. If I’m wrong in what I post, then cite a source or state some facts to back up what you say, in which you never do. In fact, here is something showing how the ally of the 5th column, unplanned parenthood, is cutting women’s health options for abortions:

The person with a problem with women is the person who wrote the article. The president is the best leader since FDR which is why he had the most impressive election victory for a second term president in history. Of course he,s the smart black guy who is dragging America into modern times with universal health care which for some reason drives some of you bonkers but that’s just tough.

    • czman75

Here we have it, folks…living proof that liberalism is a mental illness! “The best leader since FDR”? Dude, what are you smoking?!? WOW, just WOW! You need serious help, guy.

      • robbiefine@hotmail.com

Largest second term electoral win in history. I know that hurts but it is a fact. And I had to laugh when the Mitt’s people tried to explain away Obama’s victory. According to the Romney team the only reason Obama won was because he had a well organized operation that interfaced with the voters in a calm & systematic way and clearly explained Obama’s policies and plans & then got the vote out! Well fancy that. Mitt, on the other hand, who was supposed to be the so-called great business organizer didn’t even have the smarts to do any of that. He was a clown and his fellow GOP candidates should have been running to join Ringling Brothers. And, by the way, your next president will be either Hilary or Biden.

      • Vigilant

“…he had the most impressive election victory for a second term president in history.”

“Largest second term electoral win in history.”

Son, you’re daft. In a list of electoral margins of victory, Obama’s 2012 win was 21 out of 57. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_presidential_elections_by_Electoral_College_margin

You’re entitled to your own opinions, nut not your own facts.

F.D.R., was one of the worst Presidents in this nations history. I do not have time to waste in a useless attempt to enlighten you. I suggest you do some reading instead o spending so much time on the internet.

      • Gary L

Hey CAB, Don’t waste your breath (key strokes). Naturally an Obama lover would feel the same about FDR. What normal people would see as bad, liberals see as good.

    • Rick Day

You gotta’ be kiddin’ me!!! Best leader since FDR?? Your so-called leader has done everything in his power to turn our government into a socialist society in which the shift of power (and those who ultimately determined the last election) is based upon those whose mantra is “Where’s my free S***?!!” Like most bed-wetting liberals you have no regard for the principles upon which our country was founded. I wonder how our founding fathers would rate your “fraud President” in terms of leadership qualities.

      • robbiefine@hotmail.com

The Founding Fathers would be totally in awe of the current president. Like them he is a highly educated, enlightened, and philosophical well read man. They would be able to have endless and deep conversations with him about all manner of subjects. Mitt would not do that well with them – he’d probably think they were kind of gay given those fancy get ups and hair styles!

        • Rick Day

Wrong, my Socialist friend!! Founding Fathers would’ve been appalled by his philosophical position. They would’ve viewed him as a psudo-intellectual…as someone who thinks he’s smart but has no practical knowledge. As someone who has never had a REAL job, he has no understanding of the real world and endorses the government as the solution to all problems. When in reality, for the most part, the government is the PROBLEM—not the SOLUTION!! I would guess that the Founding Fathers would listen to his drivel and say “God help us if he ever runs our country!!”

          • robbiefine@hotmail.com

Being a community worker as well as a teacher and law professor, and a senator ARE real jobs. They are different than being a brick layer or a truck driver – on that you would be correct.

          • rickd

I’m supposed to be impressed with B.Hussein O?? A community leader!! And, exactly what did he accomplish with this pork-barrel “job”? As a law professor…let’s see…this is the same person who refuses to disclose his college transcripts. And as a senator…exactly what bills was he the primary sponsor? Face it, my Socialist comrade, your hero has no track record of demonstrating any professional success. The only reason he was elected is because he is a glib speaker who was able to sell his trite of “hope and change”. But, in reality it’s been nothing but “hype and blame”. In short he is flashy on the outside but shallow and vacuous on the inside.

          • robbiefine@hotmail.com

I always find it amusing when folks like Donald Trump – and you – start in on the college manuscripts thing. Does this come up because you figure Obama did not do very well at university? That he’s not very smart? Is that it? Let me note that getting into a school like Columbia University is quite demanding. You need top grades. Harvard Law School is one of the toughest universities in the world and not only was the President accepted there but he was twice elected as the Law School Review editor which always goes to the top student and he did it TWICE (that had never happened before). And because he did so well at Harvard he was hired as a law professor at the University of Chicago. His specialty was Constitutional Law. He knows as much about the Constitution as you and Trump combined times 1,000. Yet you and Trump want to see his grades. As if the administrations of those top schools are going to suffer such fools lightly.

          • rickd

You’ve made several refences to Obama being an expert in Constitutional law. If that is so, then please explain (probably rationalize like most liberals do) why he tramples upon the principles of the Constitution and minimizes its importance? As for his intellectual accomplishments I find it amusing that you folks are quick to play the race card when someone asks for sensible supporting documentation to substantiate claims of academic success. I don’t know about you but when I applied for graduate school for my PhD. at the U. of Virginia,I had no hesitation (or choice) about proving that I completed my B.S and M.S. But, I guess that’s because I’m a WASP- not a Muslim-loving, “we don’t have a spending problem”, piss poor excuse for a leader.

          • Jeff

Funny. I heard UVa closed its Ph.D. program in Bigotry and Idiocy.

          • rickd

Lame, Jeff…very lame. It’s a shame you can’t do better than that. But, silly me, why should I think that a liberal would be capable of critical thinking?!! I apologize for confusing you with facts….but it’s not surprising when you’re confronted with the truth.. that’s when you folks attack one’s character and intellect. If we disagree with you in your world that means we can’t understand the complexity of your point. Er…. Very lame…but not surprising of those who are enamored with their knowledge but really are psudo-intellectuals.

          • Jeff

“I don’t know about you but when I applied for graduate school for my PhD. at the U. of Virginia,I had no hesitation (or choice) about proving that I completed my B.S and M.S. You may be a WASP; you’re definitely a bigot. Jefferson must be rolling over in his grave at the thought such a person may receive a Ph.D. from the fine institution he started.

          • rickd

Poor Jeff…he has to resort to name-calling and labeling those who don’t buy into his inane, socialistic drivel. How sad, how pathetic. I sure hope you are more successful in the “real world” than you are in your pitiful attempt to castigate those who disagree with you. (Oh, by the way, if you need help in defining such complex words as inane or drivel, or castigate, try using google. Obviously, you have plenty of time to do this. By the way, do you have a REAL job?!!!)

          • Jeff

“You’ve made several refences to Obama being an expert in Constitutional law. I would take you up on your offer, but I just took a graduate-level course in inane drivel (I reread your post.) so I’m all stocked up here.

Perhaps you could actually say something specific like how Obama has trampled on the Constitution or specifically what spending you would like to cut that Republicans in Congress will actually go on record to cut. And let us know how such cuts will impact the economy. And if you can do it without racial or stupid religious references, well – that would be a miracle.

          • rickd

Since you view any criticism of our “fraud President” as being bigoted and any reference to religion as being “stupid”, I doubt that anything I say will get thru to you. But for starters, our country was founded upon religious freedom and as a Cristian nation but BHO says ‘we’re not a Christian nation, and in reality if you espouse Christianity you have fewer freedoms that if you are a Muslim. At one time he says that on a personal level he does not endorse gay marriage, yet ‘flip-flops’ when it is politically expedient to do so. He tells the union that “I owe you” and wages war against those states that support the right-to-work. He says taxes of middle class workers will not go up–yet that’s exactly what happened just since the election. He criticizes the budget deficit when GWB was President but since his election in 2008 the national deficit has surpassed 16 Trillion and now he wants to raise the debt ceiling. He claims we “don’t have a spending problem” Who are you kidding!!! Do you need MORE SPECIFICS??!!

          • Deerinwater

somebody say; “Lame, Jeff…very lame. It’s a shame you can’t do better than that. But, silly me, why should I think that a liberal would be capable of critical thinking?!! I apologize for confusing you with facts….but it’s not surprising when you’re confronted with the truth.. ”

          • robbiefine@hotmail.com

You note that when you applied to a school for your PHd you submitted a transcript of your grades. Of course this is quite normal as you intimate. Did you also display your grades to the general public? Probably not. Well, when Obama applied to and was accepted at Columbia Univ. do you actually think Columbia did not get his grades? And when he applied and was accepted to attend Harvard Univ. do you actually think that Harvard Univ. did not get his grades from Columbia? And when he applied to teach at the Univ. of Chicago law school do you actually think he did so without submitting his entire academic record? Well you did and so did he. If you wish now to post your various grades right here on this site I guess you are free to do so but it is not required. Nor is the President required to start posting his grades and academic record. My guess is that his grades are stellar because the guy is brilliant and because the schools he was accepted at are the best in the nation. You and Donald Trump can suspect all you like that Obama failed every class but if you do you are simply nuts. By the way I’d like to see Trump’s academic record. In fact I demand to see it. Do you think there’s any chance that will ever happen?

          • Jeff

Excellent post. Unfortunately, in this forum, these morons only accept posts about Muslims, commies, and unqualified students who magically become head of the Harvard Law Review. These folks have their own alternate reality where up is down, smart is stupid, and Donald Trump has class.

          • rickd

Obviously you and your Bud, Robbie, are tied at the hip. My point about having to provide transcripts for a graduate program was merely to point out that full disclosure is the “name of the game”. No, I did not have to reveal this to the public, but at the same time I wasn’t running for the highest office in the land either!! If you’re running for Pres of the USA one should have nothing to hide. I find it interesting that you liberals were chomping at the bit to have W’s military records open to Congress. But, I guess the same principles don’t apply to your party’s candidate, right?

      • Gary L

Robbie, Thye most definitely would not be in awe. Dumbstruck perhaps but in awe…not.
Problem is liberals don’t have anything in common with the founding fathers. The founders set up a Constitutional Republic to protect the people from LIBERAL IDEAS.

        • Jeff

“The founders set up a Constitutional Republic to protect the people from LIBERAL IDEAS.”

Did it take years of study or did your ignorance come naturally?

        • robbiefine@hotmail.com

Key similarity would be educated & enlightened. The constitutional expert and professor Obama would have endless conversations over wine with the Founders who were the revolutionary enlightened folks of their day. By contrast yahoos like Sarah Palin, Bachman, Romney, the Pizza Guy, and those other clowns would be staggering around with a bottle of Bud looking for sports scores. You actually don’t know much about the Founders do you? Did you know that the author of most of the important documents – Jefferson – rewrote parts of the Bible leaving out mention of god? I bet you didn’t. I wonder how Republicans would react to the main Founder if that info was generally known?!?!?

      • George E

Liberals look up to Marx and Mao, not our founding fathers……….. Obama is more like Castro than Jefferson.

    • Gord Dick

“he had the most impressive election victory for a second term president in history”
Definitely the best second term election victory in history if you exclude the 13 other Presidents who did better. That would include G W Bush and Reagan. Just for future reference Robbie…Here they are with the victory percentage (this is second term results).
      G. Washington 100
      T. Jefferson 98.3
      J. Madison 92
      J. Monroe 65.3
      A. Jackson 60.8
      U. Grant 60.67
      G. Cleveland 58.77
      W. Wilson 58.7
      FDR 57.37
      D. Eisenhower 55.58
      R. Reagan 54.74
      W. Clinton 51.06
      G W Bush 50.73
      B. Obama 49.24

      • rickd

Nice job of refuting Robbie’s distortion of the facts. Not surprising considering that liberals are known to “take flexibility w/ the truth”

        • Jeff

I believe what that poster meant to say was that Obama is the first Democrat since FDR to win two popular vote majorities. I’ll leave to others their opinion of how impressive a victory that is.

          • rickd

To show you how people can use statistics to distort their position, if I’m not mistaken since FDR there have been only 2 Democratic Presidents to be reelected- Clinton and Obama. (others since FDR were Truman, Kennedy, LBJ, and Carter). And since Clinton had to deal with Ross Perot, to praise Obama for winning popular vote for 2 straight elections isn’t really such a big deal, is it?

          • Jeff

I merely stated the fact. You make of it what you will. And why weren’t other democrats re-elected? Think guns had something to do with JFK not being able to run for a 2nd term? Think guns had anything to do with RFK not being elected in ’68? Yes, guns on our city streets have such a proud history in this country. JFK, MLK, RFK. All enemies of right wingers and all killed by guns. No wonder you jerks so love your guns.

          • rickd

There you go again, Jeff, slanting the facts to push your liberal agenda. Yes, JFK, RFK, and MLK were gunned down. But, in 1962, Kennedy’s popularity was at an all time low in Nov before being assasinated in Dallas. RFK was so unpopular in 1968 that he wouldn’t even campaign in the south. Are you really certain they would’ve been elected? Oh yea, while we’re talking about ‘gun-lovers’ attacking politicians, I find it interesting that you omitted the gunning down of George Wallace and Pres. Reagan, and James Brady. I guess us red-neck conservatives did that as well. How sad, Jeff, how sad. Please get it together Jeff. You’re too easy!!

          • Jeff

You really think Goldwater would have beaten JFK? Yes, I think RFK would have beaten Nixon. Humphrey couldn’t get out from LBJ’s shadow on Viet Nam, so the base wasn’t too excited. RFK would have turned out the base and he would have had the votes of those who loved his deceased brother. But the Guns Over People Party prevailed because the best candidate was gunned down.

          • rickd

Once again, Jeff, you distort the facts and interject your own “spin” to support your distorted and mindless beliefs. Your projection of JFK being reelected and RFK winning a general election is pure speculation and your only purpose is to attribute this to their untimely death and the hands of deranged individuals. You do this to imply that only right-wing radicals kill/shoot political leaders. Yet, the facts are that JFK was shot by a former Soviet Union supporter and RFK was killed by Sirhan Sihan—-not exactly “right-wing supporters!!” Also, you conveniently neglect the fact that concervatives have been gunned down–George Wallace, Reagan, and James Brady. Are you going to blame that on conservatives as well? Quit trying to twist the facts to suit your own purposes. Gotcha’ again, Jeffy boy!!

          • Jeff

I thought you conspiracy boys didn’t think Oswald shot JFK. It’s the guns, stupid! They now outnumber us.

          • rickd

You continue to skirt the issue….you CHOOSE to compartmentalize anyone who disagrees with your liberal carp as being brainless. You’re quick to make reference to a “conspiracy” theory when you’re desperate for any meaningful dialogue. You have yet to acknowledge that there have been other political leaders who have been shot that have conservative leanings. I guess in your vacuous mind, that’s not worthy of being discussed. You liberals are a real piece of work!!

          • Jeff

Of course there have been conservatives shot. We have too many guns, and we’re a very violent country. My point about JFK, RFK, and MLK is their assassinations changed history in ways the shootings of George Wallace and Ronald Reagan did not. And let’s not forget the shooting death of George Moscone, Mayor of San Francisco by the right wing a*hole Dan White. Remember the Twinkie defense? Remember he also killed Harvey Milk?

          • rickd

I will have to acknowledge that you make a valid point. I still don’t like the idea of opening the door to more governmental control. As a mental health professional for the past 35 years, I contend the it is the mental disturbance of perpetrators of violence that is the problem- not merely the possession of guns or ones political affiliation. In my opinion, it stems from too much violence being dramatized on TV and in the movies as well as a breakdown in the moral fiber of our country. And, I attribute that to the secular movement that conveys the notion that there are no absolutes—merely situational values. The whole idea of “separation of religion and state” stems from a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote in which he said that our nation would not impose a state religion as was the case in England. Unfortunately, our judicial system has misconscrued that idea into banning any type of organized religious activities in our school. In my opinion, this started the moral decline of our country. And, BHO has merely perpetuated this condition.

          • Jeff

Of course it is both, but it is far harder (nearly impossible, I’d say) to identify all the potential shooters out there. Anyone who commits a mass shooting has got to be psychotic at the time he does it, but that doesn’t mean he would show up in a screening. Don’t get me wrong. I think we should do way more for the mentally ill than we do; I just don’t think it’s a substitute for intelligent limitations placed on guns. How many of these mass shooters had actually been labelled prior to the shooting? I know the Virginia Tech guy was and Lanza had Aspergers but where is the connection between Aspergers and violence? Does everyone with any kind of neurosis get put on the list? I don’t particularly care that he can’t buy a gun (That’ll probably save his life.), but I do worry about potential employers getting hold of such information.

The Tucson shooter is portrayed as nuts, but was he really any nuttier than a lot of other kids his age? I know there are reports he was asked to leave the Community College, so he should have been on somebody’s list. Klebold and Harris were on nobody’s list. I’ve read a bit of “Columbine” and it’s fascinating that everything we thought we knew about that shooting was wrong. And the Aurora, Colorado shooter was a grad student. He apparently had a breakdown, but whose responsibility would it be to (a) make sure he gets treatment and (b) gets put on a “no-gun” list?

          • rickd

I agree with your recommendation about “responsible limitations being placed on gun use”, but my concern is who makes that decision and how will it be implemented. Even though I grew up in the Deep South (going to grad school at UVA was considered “way up north by my friends”) I’ve never quite understood the fascination with guns. Nevertheless, I do respect the right of “RESPONSIBLE” people to own them. You are much more knowledgeable than I am pertaining to names and incidents of shooters..”nut cases” (sincerely) and quite honestly I have no panacea for solutions to this multifaceted problem. To my knowledge, there is no research that suggests a correlation between Asperger’s syndrome and violence. The few clients diagnosed with A.S. with whom I’ve worked tend to speak loudly and have little regard for personal space. They are generally socially inept but being violent has not been something that I have observed. Of course, there are always exceptions and I would be hesitant to make a generalization re all such persons.

          • robbiefine@hotmail.com

Jeff: Thank you. You have corrected me properly. I’ll apologize as a politician might do by saying “I misspoke”. In any case Obama’s victory was impressive by winning all but one of the swing states, getting well over the minimum in the electoral college and, of course, winning the popular vote.

        • Deerinwater

i say ; what is known and not known ~ offers good debate, and assuming the loser.

      • Jeff

I don’t know where your numbers are from but Obama got 51% of the vote, and I don’t believe Clinton ever cracked 50% because of Ross Perot.

      • nc

Gord Dick, here is something that makes daddy’s boy numbers mean nothing> His administration fell so flat on it’s face in the second term that he got the Republicans beat in 2008 and 2012 and 2016 is not out of the question!

      • merkelerk

        Simply stating the facts.
You may interpret them any way you like.

Everyone from Blog commentors, through the main stream media all the way to our elected officials from both sides of the aisle make statements that are plainly wrong. Often with the intent to mislead, at the very least, an exaggeration to strengthen an argument knowing few will check the veracity of the statement.

Reagan said “trust but verify”. He was referring to overt communists, when it comes to the covert types, I say verify then trust (but cautiously).

      • Right Brain Thinker

rickd says, “Nice job of refuting Robbie’s distortion of the facts. Not surprising considering that liberals are known to “take flexibility w/ the truth”. He said that in response to Gord Dick’s posting of some numbers. Too Bad Gordo is playing fast and loose with the truth here, so that his numbers are hardly going to be something we need to keep for “future reference” as he suggests.

First, since they didn’t keep “popular vote” figures before 1824 (look up why), the figures for GW, TJ, JMadison, and JMonroe don’t exist—where did you get them, Gord? Are they perhaps %-ages of electoral college votes or some such? Or PFTA? (Plucked From Thin Air)

Many other “problems” with Gordo’s “numbers” are evident. Some are way high, others are low. What’s the source for these, Gordo? Wikipedia says the real numbers are as follows:

        Jackson 54.74
        Grant 55.58
Cleveland 46.02 (and his two terms were not consecutive either)
        Wilson 49.24
        FDR 60.8, 54.74, and 53.39
        D. Eisenhower 57.37
        R. Reagan 58.77
        W. Clinton 49.23
        G W Bush 50.73
        B. Obama 51.06

So, if the wikipedia figures are correct, O’Bama is behind only FIVE (count ‘em) presidents, and has the best “record” in the last 28 years. Nice job of “taking flexibility w/ the truth”, Gordo, and nice job of mindlessly accepting some untruth, rickd. Robbie may have gotten carried away with his “truth” but he was probably talking off the top of his head, and shouldn’t be faulted too much for that—-it’s common on PLD. What’s your excuse, Gordo?

        • rickd

For the sake of argument, let’s assume your figures are correct and Gord Dick is off base. Let’s take a closer look at YOUR figures. You listed 10 Presidents who have served a 2nd term…5 before FDR and 5 after FDR. You stated BHO’s % was slightly over 51% and was “only behind 5 people”. This means that if he was behind 5 people, he was only AHEAD OF 4!! His ranking would be # 6 out of 10…not exactly a stellar position. Let’s look at the 5 since FDR…He is ahead of GWB by a “whopping” 0.33% and Clinton by 1.83%. But, he is BEHIND 2 REPUBLICANS- Ike by 6.31% and Reagan by 7.71%. If we focus on just the 5 Presidents reelected for a 2nd term since FDR, Obama would rank 3 out of 5….right in the middle. So, you’re telling us that we’re supposed to be impressed with this??. Even if Gord Dick’s figures are off, yours certainly do not support your case. Nice try…but no cigar!! Maybe you need to massage your figures to see if you can impress those who are unable to analyze data….those whose only concern (and who reelected this baffoon) is “Where’s my free S***”.

What a chauvinistic piece of garbage. I suppose only “macho men” can make good presidents? (vs. “girly men”)

Uh, ya…we need men that not afraid to say no!

When will you wingnuts ever see the light of day? Over 50% of eligible voters are women who for reasons known only to God see themselves as capable as men> Plus their test scores seem to indicate they are more educable! So maybe God and the ladies know something YOU don’t! THAT THEY ARE AS CAPABLE! AND THEY DON’T WANT TO BE TOLD WHAT TO DO WITH THEIR BODIES! SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK OF SLAMMING THEM! And what is wrong with being “influenced by women”? If more men were, this would be a far, far better world.

  • Katie

When the liberal attack gophers come out en masse on your comment board, you know you’ve struck a chord. Why is it that liberals think women are infallible? Does it not occur to liberals that women are just as capable of being evil and manipulative as men are?

Give your fellow women some credit. Not all of us are brainwashed into thinking we can survive without men. No, actually some of us are happily married and share common goals and interests with our MAN. we share workloads and responsibilities, and *gasp!* sometimes my husband opens the DOOR for me! Oh what a chauvinist!! Pfft!!

And for those who think Obama is a smart black man who won his secon term by a landslide….well….I can’t get into the details of HOW he won the election, and I agree that he is smart. Otherwise he wouldn’t have surrounded himself with pedastic sociopaths who knew how to get him into the White house. No, he’s not dumb at all. But he is narcissistic, sociopathic, and yes, a girly man.

    • Karolyn

Just because many of us KNOW we can survive without men does not mean we don’t like being treated with respect and don’t like men!

  • Jeremy

Oh hell. The “War on women.” lmao. The only type of woman that would buy into that is weak. Real women will rise above what they perceive as “sexism.” The War on women is true but it’s not orchestrated by the right. It’s orchestrated by the left. The left has no problem with drone strikes that kill women and children. This is after 8 years of liberals bitching about Bush doing the same thing. yes they did have a problem with Bush killing women and children. But now that Obama is doing it, it’s not such a big deal. Not to mention, they want to disarm women with their gun control initiatives. Democrats hate women. FACT.

George W.Bush, our 43rd President was Dick Cheney’s puppet. Is it better to be led around by your MALE VP, who has all the gloom and charm of Darth Vader? I do wish that President Obama would ream the conservatives all the time. I am disappointed that he missed his chance to really change the status quo in his first term. Perhaps, without the fear of not being re-elected,we can get something done. The number one mistake of his presidency was giving the banksters a $700 billion bailout, when he should’ve bailed out the American people. If every tax paying citizen had gotten a certain amount of money to pay off their debts,we wouldn’t be in this mess of banks taking people’s houses. Our homes’ values wouldn’t have been cut in half. He made these decisions to try and appease right wingers in Congress, who would rather see Obama fail than for the U.S. to succeed! Try facts!

I can understand this. In life a good pair is when the husband pulls the wagon and lets his wife stear it. One without the other, they’re nothing. Bur when the woman becomes a Jezabel or Marie Antoinnette, watch out. From his actions this charimatic quality of Obama’s is the cover of a nothing. he’s the cover over empty pages. His first debate with Romney showed what he is. But what do we do about it? Discounting him, she knows “The best defense is a strong offense”. and that’s exactly what she is doing with the gun issue. In NY people went to bed law abiding people and woke up criminals. We’re getting the punches and haven’t figured our offense yet. Sha knows time is critical. Before he’s even sworn in he’s/she’s made great strides toward his/her goals. It’s a fact. It takes about six weeks to heal from wounds, physical or mental. During that six week period we’re vulnerable.

We must take a breath and band together. Unless there is an emergency meeting between real Republicans, Constitutionalist, Tea Parteirs, Libertarians and other conservative groups, we’re burnt toast. Satan will have won the day.I saw that lesson played out when I was working in Sweden where the socialist party encompassed less than 1/3 of the people and there was eleven conservative parties. The Socialist ran the country.

During the civil war, Grant while he was in the heat of battle sat under a tree eating a pickle sandwich and mapping out his plans. A cannon ball actually hit the tree he sat under. He was out numbered 3 to 1. His men were in full panic but hadn’t quite retreated screaming at him what to do. He was waiting till night fell then he marched his soldiers round and round in front of the enemy lines. creating an illusion that had reinforcements coming in all night. Before sun up the rebels routed and ran.

Hello, this article has truth in it, but it also is bias too. Yes, I agree that Michele and the presidents adviser (Jarrett) are allowed to influence Barack too much, but many presidents have had this same influence in the background and yet it wasn’t as publicized. I do agree that Barack and his wife feel that being on TV and in the public eye is much more important and seem to think they are Hollywood stars. Yes, Michele has done very little as a first lady because she is too busy trying to make sure they are perceived as the glamorous couple in Washington. She never ate healthy prior to the White House where she has a full-time cook and can run around proclaiming that she and her family are such healthy people. Yes, obesity is a problem in this country, but maybe start passing laws that stop permitting big businesses to feed us chemicals that have attributed to the weight problems, so that they can profit more.

Barack has a problem with getting along with congress and is a president that refuses to believe that anyone else is as smart as him. This same statement applies to many in congress too, who feel that they were voted in office to work as few days as possible, vote based on their personal feelings and ego and not the people they are supposed to be representing.

Let’s remember that what happened in this country prior to Barack being elected the first time, which can speak for itself in showing us that politicians are out for themselves be it male or female, big businesses and wall street have ruled our country with their lobbyists. Very few of the politicians this country has had in the last 25 years were elected based on their ability to perform as the constitution states they should be while in office, but in fact they got into office because they outperformed their opponents because of having more clout or money backing them.

Stop acting like this one president is the only one that has done badly because the blame for this countries mess falls on many laps over the last few decades, which even includes the media and journalism that promotes only the prestigious candidates during elections and never gives time to the less wealthier running for office. The mess we are in is because of greed of Corporate America, Wall Street, many politicians, our supreme court, the journalists and media of this country, churches and not for profits and businesses who promoted illegals, refugees (falsified claims many times) other legal immigrants, and visa workers getting more rights and help than citizens. We can also include in this list the continuous belief represented by politicians, and not for profits and believed by many that welfare should be handed out freely for lifetimes to those that feel they should be given, housing, food, clothes, medical and the ability to provide the world with children they conceived while being taken care of. And let’s not forget about how the illegals children born here are considered citizens and yet the constitution states otherwise. Our country is in a mess because of selfishness, greed, and a continued supply of people coming here to live off the country and the ignorance of our congress to keep giving aid to countries that hate us and/or refuse to stand on their own feet plus just think they should get aid from us while we are being taken over by our debt to China.

Wake up, this didn’t happen overnight!

You can get down to one thing being wrong with America. It’s lost touch with God and no longer functions under his rules of morality. Many people have lost it. Many people never had it.We’ve replaced morality and liberty with laws and bondage, which comes with Satan’s presence in America.

John say’” He is not strong enough to take a leadership role as President, but instead lets two women run his life and the country. In this way, the President is a weakling reminiscent of King Edward VIII, the man who doted on Wallis Simpson’s every wish. He is not like President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who had a dalliance with his driver, Capt. Kay Summersby, while he was the Supreme Allied Commander.”

Well John, ~ If it’s a comparative / contrast thing, ~ then you are very correct, Obama is unlike either of this men. ~ I was not aware of there was this need to be.

As far as all this strong/ weak thing ~ if a man has a woman or three around, he’s being ran where he or you wish to admit it or not. That is the nature of women, they tend to lead for the rear.

That’s just the way it works and it’s not really that bad of a thing and most mature men understand it for what it is.

In as far as this statement that the president not being strong enough to lead today really doesn’t say much about the whole GOP party. ~ If Obama is truly being ran by women as you say ~ then the GOP has been “bested” by just a few women. Maybe the GOP needs some stronger women , women that refused to be cowtailed down by some old farts that have yet to understand which side their bread is buttered on?

For any man that cannot develop the skills to connect with women is a weakness and not strength since they all the things that a man seeks and own half of everything else.

It sounds as if you are attempting to sell the notion that Obama is a sissy boy to your readers today. ~ Well, good luck with that ~ I’m certain that you will enjoy some success with it “here” among your readers ~ but that ole dog just won’t hunt anywhere else, places where it really counts.

Your readers don’t like him anyway ~ and willing to be in agreement with any charge that you feel inclined to level against Obama.

I find it a comfort that I no longer feel the need to defend Obama today ~ He has secured his 2nd term soundly defeating a field of some of the weakest contenders that the GOP might ever hope to muster up.

Obama will continue to disappoint you with you left to play down his success on many fronts. Look at it as “job security” ~ You know what you are going to be do tomorrow and where the payroll check is coming from.

Hillary was my first choice as well, ~ but I said that back when it might have counted however I will not support her for future office, ~ as I see a time to pasture a good work horse and bring forward new blood. Needless to say ~ her council will still be available for those that seek it and she will still play a part in our nations political landscape.

Sexist thinking ~ has existed for a very long time and I’d never expect it to just somehow magically disappear and go away. Even the bible is written in a male sexist precept which means that, ~ men can’t see it or that God is a Dude. ~ I have come to believe both. LOL!

Seems like everyone is talking AROUND the point of the whole article, with which I agree wholeheartedly, that Obama is indecisive, a POOR leader and extremely dependent upon these and other women (Clinton) to give him some backbone and ideas. And unfortunately, with Jarrett, the ideas are those with which I would be totally against — such as her anti-Israel stance and the desire to bring the US down in global influence, and that it is OK for Iran to get a nuclear weapon.

The idea that Obama is unduly influenced by Jarrett and his wife is supported also in the book, Amateur, as well as this one “Leading from Behind” (which is the stupidest phrase I have ever heard, but which is exactly what teflon Obama does, which is, he DOESN’T lead, he just lets other influences hold stway, let’s other people and countries lead, or he divides).

The movie, “2016″ doesn’t address the issue of the strong influence of Valerie Jarrett as far as I remember, but there is a quote from a middle-eastern expert that I remember well. He states that if Obama gets his way, the world we may soon wake up to will be a much more brutal and dangerous world if the US is destroyed financially, politically, morally and militarily, as I see Obama doing his best to accomplish. How he got reelected is beyond me.

Kennedy did do a lot of good things…..Cuban blockade, space race, “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”! etc, He was also responsible for the Bay of Pigs which abandoned our forces to be killed. (Hummmm, maybe Obama IS a bit like Kennedy.) Worked with the mafia to bring down Castro while Bobby was going after the Mafia. May be these things that got him killed?

BINGO LARRY: John Kennedy was hated by to many powerful people including His Vice-Pres. Camelot was for public consumption only. The White House became a brothel. Jackie was seldom there. She new who killed her husband, but took it to the grave. Oswald was an idiot. Two other shooters did the deed, and left clean. There was some evidence that even the Vatican contributed, but no hard proof. The trail has since gone cold as the years pass, and death claims the players. M. Monroe may have been the straw that broke the Camels back. Action had to be taken. Remember, when something happens and you don’t know how to handle it, you let time work it’s magic.

Every president has advisors. Obama has women as strong influences. Bush had Cheney as an arguably stronger influence on his administration than any individual in the Obama administration. This article mentions no negatives about these women just that the scope of their power may be more than what it should be (like Cheney). The problem is the power they wield. The problem is NOT that they are women. All this article says is that Obama trusts these women so he is “girly”?! Would you have a problem with an unelected male in the same position, with the same influencing power? No unelected official should have that kind of power over the president, male or female. So don’t hate on women or call Obama “girly”. It is offensive and simply narrow minded– Something I really don’t expect from the “personal liberty” page. Next time put some intelligent thought into why the advisors are bad (because the wield too much power) and try not to just come up with some misogynist rant about how Obama is girly because he chose women as his advisors.

    • Jeff

You are clearly giving too much credit to the denizens of these blogs. I have observed as much racism and misogyny on these various threads as you will find among conservatives anywhere. The fear that there might be a chance to put a woman in the oval office. But even worst then that she could be black woman, also she has a husband that would support her. This seems to be the real fear to a lot of people in this country. That a woman would run for office and win, there are a lot of men and even some women, that do not want a woman to be the leader of this country.I really do not see the problem in it myself. There are women out there that have the skills to do just as well as any man or maybe even better then a lot of the men in the past. There has been a lot of over bearing men in the office that had clearly no right to hold that rank. They were not put in that office to chase skirts or play around with any other woman other then there wife. But none the less that seem to be there past time.So in fact maybe that is just what this country needs is to put a woman in the oval office and lead our country to a better place.Because the day of honey i’am home is clearly a thing of the past. Men can get there own slippers and pipes and there news paper.Woman have a voice and have fought to use it.We have just as much right to say what we think and it be heard and excepted no pat on the head and a smile then pushed aside and forgotten about. This just might be the best thing that could ever happen to this country.Yes I know there are going to be people that say I am wrong but I do not believe that to be true.Thank You for taking time to read this.

Obama is a muslim and never will change, he beleives in women being of limited value, as his staff received less pay than women, and the ones who quit because, they felt they were living in a meat market.. His BS on using children on his and the socialist democrats dream lamland gun regulations, notice he didn’t point out how much debt he has inflict on kids and their families, or creating jobs for everyone? Now the socialist democrats of the house want to create a bill to give the muslim educated marxist a blank check on the debt ceiling, still don’t think anyone with a D (dork) by their name isn’t of a socialist/communist mindset.

Both the Leftist and Rightist commenters here appear to be a bunch of clueless flounderers trying to score points on each other rather than getting at any truth. The lefties are the usual knee-jerkers and the righties almost make me feel embarrassed to be a Libertarian.

Election is over don’t need to use the women card until 2014 or 2015 when the next Dem wants to run for President. If Hilary runs she has the best chance and maybe she’ll let Berry hang out in the UN with his Arab friends and talk smack to each other.

  • Frontline

I think it is time people in this country got off the popularity kick and started electing leaders, Obama was the “cool” choice in 2008 and Look what it got you a Dictatorial marxist who is abusing the Constitution to destroy the US economy and its world leadership, wake up any moron could get this economy rolling but this Village idiot, He is the pied piper leading the sheep who believe in the war on women and free birth control over Jesus, this administration is being Lead by two ugly black women with nothing but hate for this nation and I’m supposed to give [expletive deleted] what James Clyburn and Samuel Jackson say, For real, those two racist only see the Color Black and not the Leader himself and his destructive course, which means Blacks see themselves as Just that BLack and not as Americans first, thus African-American name tag!

Webster Tarpley: The Elite’s Plan for Global Extermination (FL-HD)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3Eo2YTQUr8 (WARNING-VERY DISTURBING)

    • Right Brain Thinker

WTS/JAY is now 4 for 4 in posting this comment on today’s threads and I am 4 for 4 in posting my reply to him.

      Right Brain Thinker says:
      January 16, 2013 at 9:50 pm

Speaking of “internet trolls”, WTS/JAY has now posted this same comment on three of today’s threads and I am responding to it for the third time by posting my earlier comments from those threads. Here they are:

      Right Brain Thinker says:
      January 16, 2013 at 4:42 pm

This is a reply I made to JAY on another of today’s threads where JAY posted the exact same comment. It is appropriate to post it here again with just a few added comments in CAPS and (parens) inserted. I said,

“WTS/JAY is apparently looking in on even the “obscure” threads on PLD today, like this one which has only 18 responses as I write. I’ll have to surf the others and see if he is spouting inflammatory horsepucky on them also.
      (HE IS—-THE EXACT SAME HORSEPUCKY)

JAYS latest game seems to be going back to the days of the old Wake The Sleepers (JAY) and posting crazy stuff—-just like yelling “Fire” in a crowded movie theater. I thought he had outgrown that.

Some of you may have noticed the exchange he and I had on the “Gun Grab” thread. I’m sorry to say that JAY is at it again on this thread (AS WELL AS THE WELFARE SPENDING THREAD), posting a link with an inflammatory title as some sort of evidence that we should believe his insane statement that “Psychopaths are running our nation”. Lord love a duck, JAY! Will you ever stop trying to mislead folks and stir them up over nothing? Is it that much fun to do so?

I went to the link—-”Webster Tarpley: The Elite’s Plan for Global Extermination” and discovered it’s nearly an hour long. This is one of JAY’s propaganda tricks too. Spend just a few minutes looking for something with an inflammatory title (JAY doesn’t actually have to watch it, just give the link), make an unfounded assertion about “psychopaths” and give the link, knowing that nobody is going to spend an hour watching it. Even if they do watch it, very few are likely to take notes, analyze it, and compose a reply. So JAY “pollutes your subconscious” with very little effort, and you would have to spend 1-1/2 to 2 hours to “come back”. I will waste 10 minutes for you.

I DID view the link and analyze it’s contents. But only to a point—–it took only a few minutes to strongly suspect that Webster Tarpley is a wing nut. So I skipped ahead and looked at several short segments. In each and every one of those small samplings, Tarpley said things that proved that he is indeed a wing-nut, making many outrageous statements. I should say that this video clip consists of Tarpley “reviewing” the writings of John P. Holdren, the current White House science advisor, by flipping through a book and making comments on what Holdren said, and most of his comments would result in him being laughed out of the room in any gathering of serious scientists. For instance, Tarpley seems to think that it is “no problem” if the population of the earth rises to 45 billion in the immediate future—that’s 6-1/2 times the present population of 7 billion and I would love to know the name of ANY scientist who agrees with him.

Actually, what Tarpley did was ATTACK Holdren—-anyone who would make up so much horsepucky to attack someone must really have some sort of grudge—-maybe Holdren ran over his dog?. Or did Holdren run over JAY’s dog, and is JAY just using Tarpley to try to get even?

In closing, everyone should ask themselves why JAY would post something that is mainly an attack on the president’s SCIENCE advisor on a thread that is concerned with welfare expenditures. Can JAY answer that? Will he? Jay? (AND I WILL ASK THE SAME AGAIN HERE—-THIS IS A THREAD ABOUT TAXES, JAY—-WHY POST THIS COMMENT HERE?)

      Right Brain Thinker says:
      January 16, 2013 at 4:48 pm

PS I forgot to mention that the two comments are not exactly the same. JAY has appended (WARNING-VERY DISTURBING) to this second posting.

I agree with him. It is VERY DISTURBING that JAY is playing some kind of game with us and abusing our trust. Very “controlling”, JAY, when you try to propagandize folks rather than help them seek real truth.

      • John Woodbury

Thanks NBT, I have asked before, but none of you have answered, do you get paid by the word or the post? Thanks for the swift answer.

      • Right Brain Thinker

No, John, “we” get “paid” by the number of thoughtful and supportable arguments we make, and the “currency” used is satisfaction at throwing small snowballs of truth and rationality into the roaring mindlessness that comes out of the Gates of Hell called the PLD. (too bad the mindless like you aren’t listening to the “snowballs” because your minds are made up and you won’t examine anything that doesn’t fit what you WANT to believe).

IF you had read what I said, and IF you understood it, you would have noted that I DID comment on how easy it was for the real troll/shill folks like you and JAY to do their dirty work with few words and how hard it was for “us” to rebut their evil without spending much more time. And you are proving my point for me—-you make one little comment (and I’m sure “you” folks get paid just by the number of comments, not their quality or whether they say anything at all worth reading), while I have had to spend several sentences to point out that you and the others who do so are the real shills and trolls.

Congratulations, John—-be sure to mark your “shill comments IU made time log” so that you can check and see that you got your pieces of silver on payday. You are a sellout to the truth and rational thinking and deserve your “Judas money”

By the way, do you approve of what JAY has done across four of the threads with this propaganda piece? Do you have enough of a science background to understand the horsepucky on the video clip? Do you have enough brains to rebut anything I said rather than just do your PAID name-calling? So many questions, so few people that can (or will) answer them.

    WHAT’S WRONG With this picture?
There was a big objection recently because obama was pictured in the white house with only men. The liberal media quickly fixed that with a second photo with women. No one mentioned that all of his forty two Czars are men!
The sickos have top heavy influence in decision making in this country! They have named Clinton father of the year. This is the guy who was being serviced by a young woman in the house in which he lived with his wife and young daughter!

When I started reading this article what flashed in my mind was Meryl Streep’s character in “The Manchurian Candidate”, scarey!
Even more scarey is what agenda I could see being played out by these two ‘women’ in the article (among others). This is along the lines of one of the planks of the socialist/commies to destroy America – a secret radical feminist agenda. You know, emasculation (cutting the cajones off of men, figuratively) and the feminization of men – and if a man squawks about it he gets accused of abetting the so-called ‘war on women’!
‘Girly man’ doesn’t begin to describe this straw man/sock puppet Obama!

  • Horace

When I first heard Obama was running for President, I stated he would get into office & he would NEVER leave. He doesn’t need to find a way around our Constitution instead he will just again stomp the hell out of it while he laughs in all of your faces who elected him in the first place. Stupids — you bought yourself a DICTATOR & now you will face the consequences just like the Germans did when they listened to the charming voice of Hitler. It’s over for America & you haven’t seen anything to what you are about to see after his inauguration!!!!! Get ready — but there again you dumb heads won’t even see it coming. Take some more drugs or shoot up again & you will feel no pain as he walks all over America!!!!!!

So what’s new? That just illustrates one more reason why I didn’t vote for

It has only the EU pilgrans wandered thru. So quit spouting on the liberal BS. Indians were always stealing and killing off all residents, they kept the females alive since they were always killing each other indians, and need some more breeding age females. • Jeff

I know English isn’t your native tongue, but I’ll go slowly. The President cannot change the law with an Executive Order regardless what Rush may have told you over apple pie. The executive orders will deal with matters of enforcement of existing law and matters within the discretion of the President (e.g. import limits). He will not order the removal of the 2nd Amendment as some of you seem to think. He will then go to the American people (Remember them?) and ask them to tell their representatives they want reasonable limits on assault weapons, magazine sizes, etc. I’m sure someone here will translate this for you so it reads “Obama violates Constitution.” Look out for those black helicopters; they come for THEE!!!!

I did not think anyone else saw this. If you watch some of his early first term stump speeches you find out that he consults his wife and mother-in-law about everything including major policy. Don’t confuse his television person with his alter ego.

    • Jeff

As opposed to W who consulted Jesus and his gut (not to mention Uncle Dick)? And he made some humdingers, too. Whoever is advising Obama is doing a good job. But you know all Presidents have advisors. Many times the advisors are split, and the President has to make the call. This President has shown he has very good instincts, certainly far better than his predecessor’s.

      • chuckb

what a laugh, this president has far better instincts the his predecessors, this president doesn’t have any instincts that reach beyond the basketball court or the dinner table.
he doesn’t hold a candle to jimmy carter and he was the worse president before barry.

peddle that garbage to all the bolsheviks, they want to believe this guy can write his own name. name a president in the history of this country that had to hide their records, he can’t think beyond the teleprompter, just like you jeffy.

Name one decision Obama has made that was nearly as disastrous as Bush’s decision to invade and occupy Iraq.

      • Observer

I really don’t like when people use the apostrophe where it does not belong. But in any case, I read some of your comments and unless you came straight from Saturn, I have no medical explanation for your stupidity. Which good instincts are we talking about? Libya? Bankrupt country? More than half of its citizens and armies of illegals on welfare. Remember Thatcher: “problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money”. And he is far better? Than who? The only thing he is good for is impeachement.

        • Jeff

Go right ahead and waste all your time seeking impeachment. It’ll just make the Republicans look even more ridiculous than they already do. 169 of them voted against Hurricane Sandy relief. You guys have moved so far to the right you’ve ceased to be a political party. You’re more like a kooky fringe religion.

  • chuckb

you got me jeffy, i can’t think of one decision barry has made on his own that amounts to quoting. we know he doesn’t say anything of importance that doesn’t come from the teleprompter and you know he only reads what someone else is feeding him. so you got me. it also seems if i remember, bush’s decision to invade iraq was approved by the congress and if i remember right some of your favorite bolsheviks voted for it.
barry doesn’t have the stature or class that bush has and you bolsheviks have spent all these years trying to demean him. it only tells me he did more things right than i thought, he sure got you guys talking to yourself.

I agree with most of the information provided in this article, excepting particularly the comment that Moochella does not admit to future political aspirations. She stated very clearly after the King was elected that he could be president until 2016, then it was HER TURN! However, it would not surprise me at all if the King decides to declare by Executive Order that the Constitution is null and void and that he is Dictator for Life.

    • Jeff

And the Cubs will win the World Series. Your post is absolute hogwash. Whether you are actually dumb enough to believe any of it is another question.

      • Attila

Hogwash? She did say 2016 was her turn, if the country survives that long. What left wing nuts like you dont seem to understand is that when leftist fascist/socialists get full control you will be the first ones rounded up for liquidation.

        • Jeff

Do you really think she meant it was her turn to be President? How stupid do you have to be to believe something like that? She’s never run for office nor expressed an interest in doing so. When Hillary decided to run, she first ran for the Senate. It is much more likely that what she meant was it will be her turn to do something she wants to do and I’m sure it will not be running for President. You are truly paranoid. Is she going to run her campaign from a black helicopter?

  • Dad

I can tell by the higher than usual liberal reaction this article hit a nerve… ha, ha, ha, ha. Frankly, pettiness and failure is pettiness and failure for whatever reason. Look at the example this young man had in a mother… so being messed up is not particularly surprising.

    • Deerinwater

Hey Dad, ~ You are talking about a Mother that went out and bought guns and brought them home that subscribed to the promise of social unrest offered by Right Wingnuts ~ with their phobias and fears of a eminent future collapse of society.

This dead mother was no a “lefty” ~ as you seem to suggest with your comments.

While , I’ll will agree with your notion , that too many young men are absence a healthy male influence in their lives today. ~ If that is what you are attempting to say. But I can assure you, ~ that this is not a left or right thing but cuts across the political spectrum of which none is immune.

      • Attila

It may be simpler that left/right blame games. Mothers tend to be permissive and protective of their broods when they should be kicked out of the nest. That is why they need a man around to say enough, or at least keep the guns, knives, and ball bats locked up until psycho kid is out of the picture.

        • Deerinwater

Completely agree Attila. but this mother did what most mother’s seem to do ~ Kick out the man ~ and kelp the child.

At 65 years of age, ~ two wives ~ and 50 lovers to my credit ~ my current love, a 55 year old woman, ~ 123 pounds of 100% woman ~has a 34 year old son, with wife and 10 years old son (that hasn’t a chance in hell to grow up normal) ~ still living with her. ~ The son is unemployable ~ can’t hold down a job, lives off the efforts of his mother that cleans houses for a living and his wife that waits tables ~ ~ after two years , we are giving it up ~ i refuse to go over there and be around him ~ i’ll kick his a$$ and his kids a$$ too. Then I’d really be in a pickle ~ We can’t have a normal existence together in spite of being compatible in every other way.

At 65 , I have raised 4 while only one was mine ~ I’m not toting freight for a 34 year old man that still on the tit and that’s just the way it is.

I don’t know what the answer is ~ I attempted to ignore it ~ we both did. In fact she has attempted to do something about it more than once ~ with no results ~ but seen held hostage ` by a mother love for her grandson ~ if not for her bipolar, do nothing son and blonde trailer trash wife of low self esteem.

I do know one thing ~ there more pretty girls than one and I accept that as an opportunity and not a defeat. I’m not hurt ~ and don’t plan to be. I can smell a mistake for 6 months away.

Where they walk, ~ they walk without me. I’m pulling any future support and that is just the way it is.

          • sharon

Well if your tried of what your doing then get out and drop the whole thing. Bitching will not change a thing and at 65 yrs. old should all ready know this.

          • Deerinwater

Oh ! It’s done Sharon ~ and I do not intend to b1tch but only validate the prior posters assertions about a protective mother and her brood as being a fact and that this mothering behavior exist while you can never be too old to not be a victim of it, even at 65.

My heart goes out to women ~ they are victims of the luck of the draw and their unique makeup, ~ leaving a man to rage in and inflict his will on the whole crazy lot and be seen as a violator of peace and harmony or keep a respectable distance ~ which I prefer the latter having attempted both with mixed results.

Forgive me , if I indulged you and might have hit a nerve in the process ~ this is all too common family dynamics that exist in American households today. ~ Discussing things that are difficult to discuss is what Mr. Livingston’s forum is all about and what we do here.

It is nice to know where he, Obama, has been getting all his outlandish ‘feminine’ ideas from, and why they have seemed so ‘out-there’ ‘in-left-field’ as far away from the United States Constitution as any idea could be from a radical muslim country, even Iran, itself.

Was wondering if all his outlandish ideas against our Constitution were all coming from Biden. Guess they haven’t all been so.

A wise saying is that ‘people can know someone by the friends that they keep’ — and people voted for this man (?), after seeing what kinds of friends he keeps, those that influence him away from upholding the God-given and divinely written U.S. Constitution !

Has anyone noticed that he is always looking so (smiley) ‘smug’ when he is talking, as though he were a little child who knows he is getting away with something, as he speaks through his teeth, with what is called ‘a forked-tongue’ ?

One can tell he is dishonest with us. Does it not bother anyone, other than me ?

“It is nice to know where he, Obama, has been getting all his outlandish ‘feminine’ ideas from, and why they have seemed so ‘out-there’ ‘in-left-field’ as far away from the United States Constitution as any idea could be from a radical muslim country, even Iran, itself.”

Perhaps you could be so kind as to educate us in the inner workings of your mind by specifying the offending ideas and explaining why they are “outlandish” or outside the constitution. Also, if the Constitution was divinely-inspired, why has it been amended so many times?

      • rickd

Jeff, instead of bashing Mrs. Cd for making an astute observation about Obama’s disdain for the Constitution (if I recall correctly, he made reference to it being a “work in progress” a few months ago), I think it would be MORE appropriate for you to rufute the position that everything O. does IS consistent with the Constitution. I’d be interested in knowing how you can put a positive spin on this!! I’m open to you ‘enlightening’ me to what a great patriot he is. And, by the way, considering that our Constitution is 236 years old, by my calculations that means there’s only been about 1 Amendment every 10+ years. Not bad, I’d say! Keep in mind an Amendment is only that…an addition or modification and not a radical change to the main body pertaining to the document as a whole.

        • Jeff

I asked her very politely what the ideas were? If you think that’s “bashing” then you view the word differently from me. I must admit I find it annoying when people post things like “Obama is shredding the Constitution” but can’t explain what they’re talking about like they’re parroting something they heard Glenn Beck say.

          • rickd

Jeff, since you failed in my request to express your opinion on what areas you think Obama is adhering to the Constitution, let me ask you to explain a few things: 1) Where in the Constitution does it state that individuals are REQUIRED to take out insurance? 2) Where in the Constution does it endorse the distribution of wealth? 3) Where in the Constitution does it say the general public should pay for abortions or contraceptions? And 4) Where in the Constitution does it say that adhering to ones religious beliefs (i.e. Catholic Church) should cause them to be subjected to penalties? Your insight would be welcomed!!

          • Jeff

“Jeff, since you failed in my request to express your opinion on what areas you think Obama is adhering to the Constitution, let me ask you to explain a few things: 1) Where in the Constitution does it state that individuals are REQUIRED to take out insurance? 2) Where in the Constution does it endorse the distribution of wealth? 3) Where in the Constitution does it say the general public should pay for abortions or contraceptions? And 4) Where in the Constitution does it say that adhering to ones religious beliefs (i.e. Catholic Church) should cause them to be subjected to penalties? Your insight would be welcomed!!”

I wasn’t aware I had an obligation to answer what are clearly meant to be rhetorical questions. Obviously, the Constitution doesn’t provide any such thing, but each of your questions is also irrelevant. The Constitution does not mandate everything the government must do nor does it exhaustively list those things the Government can or cannot do. There is a General Welfare clause that permits the Government to do those things that are not prohibited, there is a general taxing power, and there is the Commerce Clause.

First, you mention the requirement to purchase insurance. The Supreme Court has held this is permissible under the general taxing authority, like the payment of a fine. Clearly, there would be no Constitutional issue with a single payer system, and I would much prefer that system. It is interesting that the mandate was a Republican idea to counter the original idea of either single payer or a public option. As soon as Congress started working on this Republican idea, it became Leninist. I realize it’s a close question because it compels people to purchase a private product, but I believe it is permissible under the Commerce Clause for the following reason. You are part of the healthcare system by virtue of living here. If you have an accident or a heart attack, you will be taken to a hospital whether you have insurance or not. Republicans do not like the idea of anyone getting anything for free; hence the mandate. Health care is unlike any other product. Anyone can get any medical condition at any time so concepts like caveat emptor simply have no application. A civilized society should not sit back and watch someone die of a curable condition because he couldn’t afford insurance.

Second, distribution of wealth. What is this about? All taxation is redistributive if the wealthy pay more than the poor. Tax rates are still at historically low levels so what makes taxes under Obama any more redistributive than they’ve been for most of the past century?

Third, the public is not paying for abortions or for contraception. The issue was over health insurance policies covering contraception and not your tax dollars being so used. But if Congress decided under the General Welfare clause that a public good would be served by providing contraception at Government expense, there would certainly not be anything unconstitutional about it. What you have to understand about the whole Fatbaugh-Fluke thing is how phony it is. The fat pig called Ms. Fluke a slut and a prostitute because she testified in front of Congress about the expense of contraception if it’s not covered by insurance. She was trying to say that some young women take contraceptives not for contraception but as a preventive for ovarian cancer, but she was drowned out by the stupid sh*t storm over Limbaugh’s idiotic comments about how much sex she was having. He must think birth control pills work like condoms, the big fat oaf. Women take them every day whether they’re having sex once a month or ten times a day.

Your fourth point is just silly. How are Catholics being penalized. If a Catholic institution wants to employ people, it must follow the country’s laws with respect to employing people. They have to withhold taxes, pay into social security, pay at least minimum wage, and if they provide health care it must conform to the same standards as everyone else. They want special treatment because of their beliefs. What if a Church believes it’s OK to feed your kids less than 500 calories a day. Are its adherents then immune from prosecution for child endangerment?

A lot of this would go away if we decoupled insurance from employment. Single payer is the way to go. This insurance burden makes industry less competitive with international competitors who don’t have to pay it. It was one of the biggest problems GM had in competing with Toyota.

          • Jeff

I responded to your snarky post yesterday, answering all your questions. I assume you’re still looking up words because you haven’t responded to call me a Muslim Socialist traitor yet.

          • rickd

No, Jeff, you’re wrong again…as usual. I’m not ‘looking up words’ nor am I’m into labeling you a Socialist or a traitor—merely misguided and biased in your perceptions. Unlike you, I don’t have endless amounts of time to devote to playing such trite games. I have more clients/patients with REAL problems to deal with and after a 12-13 hour day, I’m too mentally exhausted to play silly games. But, I will refute 2 of your points. You support distribution of wealth. But, how can you justify and explain away the fact that the top 1% of earners ((I’m NOT in that group) pay 20% of revenues collected by IRS and the top 10% pay 60% of revenue…yet there is a large % of our population who not only pay NO taxes but ACTUALLY GET BACK additonal sums of money. You’re OK with that, I guess? Second, you assertion that the primary reason for contraception being paid for by tax payers is that it helps prevent ovarian cancer is LUDICROUS. That’s like an elderly client of man saying he wants to take Viagra or Cialis in order to improve his “blood flow”. I can assure you that if you did a research study and asked 100 women why they take oral contraception you’d find that 95% or more would say “to prevent pregnancy”. Do you really want, as a taxpayer, to pay for someone wanting the government to pay for their Viagra/Cialis so that their sex life would be better?? Come on Jeff!!! How lame is that??

          • Jeff

“Second, you assertion that the primary reason for contraception being paid for by tax payers is that it helps prevent ovarian cancer is LUDICROUS.”

I didn’t say the primary reason. I don’t know that, but I do know many women with family histories of ovarian cancer take birth control pills as a preventive. Sandra Fluke was trying to make that point before we were all so rudely interrupted by that Fat Monstrosity on the radio. And it’s not being paid by taxpayers but through private health insurance.

            http://www.cancer.org/cancer/news/news/birth-control-pill-use-cuts-ovarian-cancer-risk

          • rickd

So, let me get this straight!! Ms. Fluke was only advocating contraceptives be covered to protect women from ovarian cancer? Strictly for health-related reasons, right? To carry your argument to its logical conclusion, then we should expect condoms to be covered because it reduces the chances of contracting STD’s. And, don’t forget to include Viagra/ Celexa also, since increased performance in the bedroom will do wonders for one’s self-esteem and enhance one’s mental health! While we’re add it let’s include hair restoration products- that will boost one’s morale and in crease productivity and our GNP!! And, if these “progressive” changes are implemented and the costs are covered by insurance companies, naturally being the altruistic “good sports” that they are, surely they wouldn’t think of increasing the rates of policy holders, would they? Of course we could always increase the taxes of the nasty old rich folks who need to “spread their wealth around”.

          • Jeff

Learn to read and you won’t have to ask. I never said prevention of ovarian cancer was the primary reason. I said Sandra Fluke was trying to make the point that contraceptives are not ONLY for contraception when she got drowned out by your Big Fat Idiot on the radio. Even if they were ONLY for contraception, so what? The law says health insurers have to provide contraception without co-pays, not paid for by you. Would it be OK with you if she had to pay a $15 copay? Would that be the difference?

          • rickd

I DID read–but once again you failed to address my previous points. I can only assume that you would be OK with including condoms, Viagra, and hair restoration products as bonafide products for insurance companies to pay for, right? After all, they, too, have medical and psychological benefits. You conveniently overlook the reality that when insurance companies are required to take on spurrious expenses, ultimately this trickles down to increased expenses incurred by employees covered by medical insurance, or by the general taxpayer in cases of who have no medical insurance. Please tell me that you understand this simple concept?

          • Jeff

What is the word, perfesser? Reductio ad absurdum? You right wingers always want to create logical puzzles where everything that can be logically connected to something else is. Because birth control pills are included in an insurance policy, then why not a trip to Europe since they both can alleviate stress. It’s called judgment. The authors of the health care bill determined that birth control pills are sufficiently important that they should be covered by insurance plans while Viagra does not meet the threshhold. Maybe if you went on TV and explained your desperate need, lawmakers would make an exception just for you.

          • rickd

My facetious example of what might be covered by insurance companies was to point out that yes, judgment, needs to be incorporated into the decision. But, I find it disingenous when someone uses the emotional plea to have birth control covered under the auspices of “cancer prevention” when the REAL motive is to have the general public/tax payer (and, yes, that’s who it would eventually come down to) to subsidise one’s decision to have sex.

          • Jeff

Would you also agree that the Fat Slob on the Radio had no business saying what he said? I mean, he can say any damn fool thing he wants to about Obama or Clinton or any other public figure, but a student trying to testify just because he disagrees with the substance of her testimony? If I ever listened to the idiot, I would no longer after that.

          • rickd

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Rush later apologize for being overzealous in his remarks? Does it bother you when reporters like Chris Matthews, Anderson Cooper, or some of the other “Lean Forward” crowd go off on their political tangents and began bashing anyone who takes exception to the current administration? If not, why not? Sounds like a double-standard to me!!

          • Jeff

Overzealous? He accused a private citizen, on the national airwaves, of being a prostitute and a slut. And said it not once but at least a dozen times! It is called slander per se. I can’t believe she hasn’t sued the fat pig. She’s clearly a classier person than he is. Anyone who sponsors his show should expect a drop in business from anyone with a conscience.

          • rickd

You’re very critical of Rush–yet I recall you saying (or implying) that you’ve never listened to him, right? Seems a little heavy-handed to me…criticizing someone you’ve never listened to?? Also, are you telling me that the Whack-job, Chris Matthews, who nearly salivates like PAVLOVS DOG at the near mention of Obama has never attacked those who differ with his opinion? What about Anderson Cooper? Are you telling me he’s tolerant of dissenters? I think not? While on the subject of talk radio, have you ever wondered why liberal talk show hosts rarely are able to sustain their efforts? Over time, their following seems to dissipate. I wonder why that is? Got any ideas on why this seems to be the case? Do you think it might be that after a while, people wake up and begin to “smell the coffee?”

          • Jeff

As a commentator, you can say whatever you want about a public figure. It’s when you pick on the weak and powerless that you become an overbearing bully. I don’t listen to him – ever. I used to turn him on if I was in the car and would usually turn him off after about a minute when he said something so idiotic I couldn’t bear to listen. Unfortunately, living in this culture, his dumbest comments become like background noise.

          • rickd

You are critical of Rush for expressing his conservative viewpoints of which many of us endorse-e.g. being fiscally responsible, eliminating illegal immigration, modifying the entitlement programs, calling Hussein out when he distorts facts (e.g. Benghazi). Yet, you seem to be OK when Chris Matthews explodes at anyone who challenges him. And, Anderson Cooper gets a pass by the other liberal media when he spews hostility towards conservatives such as Marco Rubio. That’s what most folks I know call a “double standard”. (I’m dying to see how the liberal media puts a + spin on Hillary’s brazen and callous rebuttal re Benghazi…..”What difference does it make?” I can assure you if C. Rice said something like that re 911 tragedy the media would have roasted her!! Double standard is the name of the game!!)

          • Jeff

Rick, you’re just making sh*t up now. I said nothing about Fatso’s political positions. In fact, I said several times I don’t care what he says about Obama, Clinton, or any other public figure. They’re big boys and can easily handle the moronic blowhard. What I said was inexcusable was his taking personal shots at private citizens who generally don’t have access to a microphone. But picking on the weak has always been Rush’s stock in trade. Remember the homeless olympics? The guy is really a class act.

          • rickd

Ridiculing a “weaker” person should never be excused- professionally or personally. That I will agree with you. But, unfortunately, what you are overlooking is that much of what he says is sound-from an economic and political perspective. I’m not endorsing attacks on others-I prefer to be supportive and persuasive if possible- but if one carefully listened to what he says (I’m only an occasional listener) a lot of what he says, in my opinion, makes sense. To be objective, I try to listen to the “other side” but most of the time it just doesn’t seem to hold up to the “eye test”. I’m sure you won’t agree with me…but, I’m also OK with that.

          • Jeff

The conservative position in this country since around 1900 has been contrary to every advance designed to open the process to more people and to protect the weak from the strong. Conservatives like Limbaugh have been opposed to every advance from food safety (read Upton Sinclair) to worker safety (Remember the Triangle Fire), mine safety (Rand Paul is still opposed), women voting, Social Security, regulations on banks to prevent another banking crisis and Depression (They worked for 55 years.), civil rights, Medicare, and now gay rights and healthcare. It is not a record to be proud of. At every step, conservatives are in favor or going backward to the 1890s when we had a few rich and everyone else worked until they died. That’s the America Rush wants back.

          • rickd

Well written, concise, yet thorough. But, I have 2 questions: Who pays for these programs and how? I’ve worked for 40+ years, and quite frankly, I get annoyed when I see others relying upon the working class to support them I’m disgusted when illegal aliens get free medical care and education at the taxpayers expenses. I’m appalled when school systems don’t allow prayer in school but they bend over backwards to support “alternative lifestyles” under the guise of “diversity.” I get angry when our President says “no new taxes for the middle class” but just recently most Americans experienced a deduction in the take-home pay. In short, this is not the direction I think our country should be going. Where we are headed, I fear, is down the same path of Greece and Spain and other countries who espouse a socialistic government. That’s how I see it, and I think a lot of other Americans see it that way too. And, they’re not trying to turn the hands of time back either.

          • Deerinwater

Rick say; .” I get angry when our President says “no new taxes for the middle class” but just recently most Americans experienced a deduction in the take-home pay.”

I say, Well, what 44 wanted and what 44 got from the GOP was a compromise. ~ The GOP was arguing the case that “Soaking the Rich” was unacceptable and refused to compromise on this point of contention.

You can take pleasure in knowing that the GOP won that battle and budget short falls has not been placed on just the rich but shared by many.

If you can’t be happy about winning Rick, ~ when can you?

          • rickd

It’s not a case of winning or losing. (Actually, I’m not surprised Romney lost…he was not a strong candidate in my opinion.) The bigger issue is the direction our country is headed—read today’s article by Wayne Root in todays Personal Liberty–and compare our tax structure with COMMUNIST/SOCIALIST countries who have much lower tax base than us. Even Castro is acknowledging that socialism is not the total answer. Yet, Barry seems hell-bent on taking us down that road. It is you and I and the rest of our country who will suffer. Today, there are only 39% of Americans who are optimistic about our country. This is the lowest % since Jimmy Carter (1979). Don’t forget, 67 million voters cast their ballots AGAINST Barry. It’s not about which party is winning—rather it’s about what’s best for America.

          • Deerinwater

Now , you are coming across as a person I might be able to talk too.

That said, ~ we must be mindful of polls and percentage as they can be misconstrued to mislead in any way the pollster pleases .

Obama won the election using the same election system that 43 did.

To say anyone won by X percent means someone lost by X percent with represents million of American’s either way.

Doom and Gloom sales ~ while it’s not too difficult to look beyond ourselves for our own misfortunes and failures. This is a part of the human nature that exist in us all.

I assure you, today’s problems were not brought on by one man or one party. ~ but a collecting of factors that has been years in the making. ~

We can go back to 1918 and make a sound case for failures in government ~ or back to Nixon’s administration with the creation of the EPA. ~ While it’s not the EPA that is killing us today but the way Big Business has elected to react to the EPA.

We can go back to NAFA, ~ if you like , ~ The Clinton administration pushed it through and signed it ~ While NAFA’s conception and creating was presented to the world by the H. Bush administration.

These are all stepping stones ~that the monied people of the world have supported, and made into a reality. ~ with our help! with promises of brighter tomorrows!

At the end of the day, ~ it all goes back to the Banking industry ~ and what they see as serving them best.

But understand, ~ you can’t take your toys with you when you go, ~ while the wealthy can secure the future for his/ her prodigy.

The wealthy find it not in their best interest to compete. ~ So, ~ they have this assertion to wealth and power blocked with as many “nature” obstacles as they can devise while encouraging anyone attempt to try.

Today, working your fingers to the bone will get you bony fingers and little more. If you are one that would expect the wealthy to pay you your fair due without him being forced too ~ you are in for a great disappointment. ~

A fair deal has to be “extracted” ~ it is never given freely.

          • rickd

While I’m sure we will always have our political differences, I do agree with your historical perspective. If I were only concerned about how the direction of our country affects only ME, I could say “Hell with it.. I’m retiring and giving up my practice in another year and probably moving to Belize, so what difference does it make!” But, I worry about my 3 adult daughters and 5 grandkids. What will there future look like when I’m gone? Quite frankly, I don’t think things will get better, but I hope I’m wrong.

          • Deerinwater

Rick says, “Quite frankly, I don’t think things will get better, but I hope I’m wrong”

Hmm? ~ I understand what you are feeling but when I think back on my life and the life of my parents, it was never a bed of roses. From the womb to the tomb has always been a long row of cotton to hoe. So I’m not sure how to relate to you, where you come from, where you have been and where you are going. Everyone has a different story with perhaps some common thread.

One of the nice things about being born into a family of white sharecroppers with no education, living on the Thirds is that, ~ “up” is about the only way you can go. It was a sweet life in a way, ~work the fields, hunt and fish. When a child got old enough to tote and fetch and shuck peas or churn milk you were employed. You found out what a “job well done” meant, where it was for your dinner or lick the batter spoon. The pay was less important then the job and the praise you would receive.

The war ended the sharecropping for my family as all the able body men went to fight and left the women and grandpa to tend to crops and stock. Life changed as things changed. Grandpa got a job in town making boxes he said, ~ and we all moved to town. Grandma sewed dresses. It was about then that I came along. ~ The family attempted to get back to the farm but never could. Grandpa leased sectors and attempted to grow cotton just outside town ~ had a great crop one year. 19 bails!

My father did odd jobs, ~ tear down old house for the lumber, hand dig water wells and raise chickens. ~ That’s what people did back then ~ whatever they could.

By 1953, dad was a railroad man, ~ hardknocking box cars, ~ that’s what they called insulation box cars with asbestos, hardknocking. In 55 he was laid off at the Santa Fe and in 56 went to work for the T&P railroad as a electrician working 3rd trick and working by day for a Buck dealer as a make ready man.

~ Life changed, there was not much for kids to do in town but go to school and play, ~ throw a paper route ~ collect soda bottles at 5 cent each ~ By 14, I was cleaning bricks for a penny a piece, at a huge old church they were tearing down, I threw a paper route and the Sunday Shopper and sacking groceries at Safeway during my high school years. Married before I graduated. ~ worked machine shops and bomb lines until joining the service, ~ I clocked 76 hours several weeks in a row for a while. I’d bring home my check and give it to the wife, ~ She would say, ~ “that’s not enough, what are we going to do?” ~ I’d say, “I was thinking about going to bed! ”

I would not say that life was hard, because it really wasn’t ~ but we never had the trapping of a good life to deal with. ~When I was small, If I could catch Mr. Payne two horse drawn wagon coming in from the field in the afternoon, I could save myself a 2 mile walk from school. And that was the way we looked at things, always on the bright side.

Our hopes, wants, dream and values of importance change with time. Who needs a butter churn today? a single tree, who needs a Model A crank or a hoe that’s blade is finely shaped from 20 years of hoeing cotton field and vegetable gardens ? I can’t think of anybody in their right mind that would needs those things today.

Our children will face a different age with different values and priorities then what we grew up with. There will be different demands placed on them. Their dreams and desires will be different.

We must leave them with good air and water, ~ with good soil and a framework of laws that serves all citizens equally and fairly.

My two biggest concerns today for the future generation is these changing weather patterns and water. I see trouble ahead that could bring about civil strife and social unrest. Weather is serious business that you can not underestimate and so too is the demand for water.

Dad passed last year at 85, the Hardknocking finally took him~ he had accumulated a little over 1.5 million in his lifetime ~ and done it the old fashion way, ~ bloody knuckles and a aching back.

At 65, I’m not sure that I can surpass his bench mark, and to tell you the truth ~ I’m not trying too. I’m grateful things are a good as they are ~ all things considered.

          • rickd

WOW!! Not much I can add to that but God bless you brother!! You’ve shown a lot of tenacity and spunk to make it thru some very difficult times . I admire and respect you for that. While my background is different, I have been blessed with good health and a reasonably sound mind.LOL!! (Conservative and sound!! LOL!) At 69, I feel a great deal of empathy for many of my clients/patients whom I see at Nursing homes who have Alzheimer’s. When I start to feel sorry for myself, I reflect on what their life is like and how I’d cope with that if it were me!! Sort of puts life’s petty problems in perspective, doesn’t it?

          • Jeff

Wow. Quite a back story that I’m sure most of us can’t even approach. Might even be a book in it!

LOL! well, ~ he didn’t get hurt bad enough, ~ I will agree. ~ but he did take a hit in the pocket book, that he is still feeling the sting from today. ~ but he’s got plenty of money, ~ but for such a man, there is never enough.

There was a time that I wanted Rush gone but I have come to realized that between Rush and the Tea Party , they are two of the best things that could happen to the DNC to rally the base. ~ There is nothing quite like a wolf growling and scratch at the door to make every American understand, complacency and doing nothing is not an option. There are evil forces in play ~ that are work against every working class Americans self interest today, and if not yours, your neighbors and you can expect to be next once they had their way with him.

American’s needs to see and identify our problems, ~ and be reminded daily of the nuts and fruitcakes that walk among us. The Tea Party and Rush does this like no other force out there today by simply being themselves and showing pure contempt and total disrespect for any and everything they set their eyes on. ~ no woman , no child, is immune to strong inflammatory character assassination by the numbers.

Do not interfere, but assist your enemy with his own self destruction. Sometime this calls for a longer view and some reverse physiology. ~ “Oh Please Farmer Brown, don’t throw me in the brier patch” , says the Rabbit. “Anything but that!”

I’d almost finance a big Tea Party and invite all my sub culture ,malcontent friends just to watch the show on the 10 o’clock news.

You may be right. There was a time when his poison was persuasive. I guess the country’s grown up a bit.

Forgive me, but as an elderly woman, anyone knows that a gal that is promiscuous has always been called a ‘slut’ and ‘a prostitute’ (if not worse), and if you look up the word(s) in the dictionary am sure that you will find those words fit, so he used the term correctly as far as the English language is concerned (though in other countries those words, and worse, are used for the same immoral acts).

It is rediculous to be ‘politically correct’ in our society because that it in and of itself, ‘political correctness makes everything bad look good’, but the opposite is true — bad is bad, bad behavior is bad, immoral behavior is sinfully bad — and one can change that behavior and repent of it when one wants to, and not do it again — no one but that person of sin has to pay anything for it — scarlet behavior is scarlet until one repents and stops doing it.

          • Samdromeda

In a world that has religious systems that progressed through time with the trappings of prostitution for the general populace and its priests and priestesses to line its coffers with tremendous wealth, money is at the root of this “sin.” It was wealthy eugenicists who funded the development of the birth control pill which is polluting our environment with estrogens and other chemicals associated with the process. In Europe women are told that if they are not willing to prostitute themselves they will not receive public assistance. When the state enforces sin and the wealthy line their pockets with the profits of sin how do you expect repentance to take place? It is an oppressive paradigm in which the lawful use of the technology to control the reproductive process is employed for self protection in the effort to further oneself via education in preparation for employment and enterprise in a highly sexualized culture and be castigated by horny toad males who do not take responsibility for their own role in the process. The reason that the woman who was caught in adultery and brought before Christ was not stoned was by implication that they all [the men who accused her] had taken their pleasure with her. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Now birth control is being developed for the males. Since soldiers are the property of the government everyone may in the future receive birth control shots before they go into combat. Otherwise our armies would be practicing ethnic cleansing. Armies rape and frequent houses of prostitution. Are they male sluts? What about those who contribute to sperm banks? I guess sin has its intricacies.

Rickd says; “You support distribution of wealth. But, how can you justify and explain away the fact that the top 1% of earners ((I’m NOT in that group) pay 20% of revenues collected by IRS and the top 10% pay 60% of revenue”

Hmmm? ~ It’s commonly called “percentages” ~ a value that can represent a portion of a whole ~ regardless of the value of the “whole” .

This attempt to use a percent in one breath ~ and then in another breath compare the value of a “whole” without percentages ~ is very impressive! ~ You must be a republican?

I don’t have a lot of time either ~ but it doesn’t take much time to understand someone is attempting to pi$$ down your collar and trying to tell you that it’s raining.

And regards to “wealthy distribution” are you attempting to tell us that you work for nothing? ~ You might be able to go on a diet of NO wealth distribution, ~ but my experience in life has been, ~ if you want something done ~ make it worth someone efforts to see it happen ~ and pay them what you agreed to pay them ~ and don’t be a Mitt Romney, by small print, hollow promises and salting the deal with illusions of wealth.

You see how far you can go without wealth distribution ~ The distribution of wealth is at the core of the Capitalistic System. While what you are attempting to do is ignore equitable exchange.

          • rickd

Like most bed-wetting liberals, you make absolutely NO sense…you babble in circles in an obtuse and ridiculous manner. Like your other brain-dead supporter , you overlook the obvious—your Socialist leader is taking us into economic destruction. You seem to be OK with those who work hard for a living to pay a disproportionate amount of tax and to provide the majority of taxes collected by IRS while there are some ‘deadbeats’ who actually get MORE in tax refunds than what they paid in!! How does that make sense?? Obviously, you must be one deer who has spent too much time in the water….seems like your brain has become water-logged and non-functional!! By the way, how’d you like the extra taxes that were taken out of your paycheck this past week?! Thank you Fuhrer, Comrade Hussein!! Another of his lies!!

          • Jeff

Just in case your wife has failed to remind you recently, you are really crazy!

          • rickd

Like most liberals, when you’re faced with something you don’t like, you resort to name-calling. Not being able to carry on an intelligent conversation for any extended period of time must be a very frustrating experience for you. Maybe therapy would help you deal with your insecurities. Let me know if I can help with a referral….I’m all booked up, sorry!! Thanks for making me laugh!! LOL!!!

          • Deerinwater

rickd say , “You seem to be OK with those who work hard for a living to pay a disproportionate amount of tax and to provide the majority of taxes collected by IRS while there are some ‘deadbeats’ who actually get MORE in tax refunds than what they paid in!! How does that make sense??”

I pay much more then 15% in taxes ~ Rick. and that is what Mitt Romney paid last years filing~ and I am glad that I can more, for it means that I netted a profit from “Labor Dollars” ~ I don’t have a clue who you are calling a dead beat ~ maybe you might explain your statement.

Percentage represent a portion of a whole ~ when we deal with varying net profits, the a single value constant can only be represented by the use of mathematical percentages.

A quarter of any whole “value” ~ can be no more and no less then 25% ~

Rick, you seem to be suggesting that people that earn more should pay less. ~ or to say the same thing in reverse ~ people that make less should pay more.

I don’t believe that you well be very well received with such an idea, ~ even if you wish to ignore the fact, that the first 12,000 dollars in annual net earning will be uses to simply “exist” and actually not true profit but simply earnings ~ earning that “should be” accounted for and applied to all taxpayers.

But feel free to Rant about this , ~ I know that it’s a very popular thing to do as most of us struggle with our tax burden.

If this simple concept of net earning and sliding percentage is too hard to grasp ~ you should avoid capitalistic endeavors and be content to be gainfully employed by someone that does.

It’s called INCOME Tax Rick, ~ that means that it a tax on “Income” earning. People that have no income, don’t pay income tax ~

You must have an income Rick. ~ and there is a percentage slide that take into consideration the bear min.that it cost to exist without being viewed as a burden to society. ~ People that only net 14,000 per year pay little in taxes ~ and for good reason Rick. ~

Would You would want them to pay more? ~ Where might they get it? Do you really believe that it is there for them to get ~ but they are simply refusing too? That they enjoy being poor?

          • rickd

Once again, like most liberals you totally miss the point and rely upon ambiguity to cloud the issue and circumvent the REAL issue–the economic destruction of our economy by a “leader” who endorses the notion that the government is the SOLUTION for our problems—when in fact, it is the primary CAUSE of our problems. I do understand %’s and have a little knowledge about math concepts, parts vs. wholes, etc. (I have taught statistics and research design at the graduate level.)My point, which you conveneiently avoid addressing is that you imply that the “rich” should do more when in fact they are the ones who carry a disproportionate load in terms of money generated to the IRS. Why should a select population be required to carry an even heavier load because of the bungling runaway spending by this current administration? That, Mr. Head-in -Water is what this issue is all about–not some sophmoric explanation of %’s, parts, and wholes. Go back into your woods and munch on tree leaves if that’s the best you’ve got!!

          • Deerinwater

Rick says; “Once again, like most liberals you totally miss the point and rely upon ambiguity to cloud the issue and circumvent the REAL issue–the economic destruction of our economy by a “leader” who endorses the notion that the government is the SOLUTION for our problems—”

I ask, The REAL issue? ~ LOL! I call a 7 trillion dollars war that need not be fought a “Real Issue” . I call 900,000 people now dead a “real issue” when 200 at the right time would have served us better.

If we allow people like Rick to “frame” the issues before us ~ it’s going to take more then a shovel to dig out, we will have to dynamite our way out.

It’s only now that he has concerns about money. This concern today is late in coming regardless who might be offering it.

It makes you wonder when some people actually woke up! It seems like not until Obama took office, February of 1999 finding it easy to ignore how we came to where we are today.

Having no defense, ~ amnesia seems to work for them ~ I haven’t forgot ~ and I’m not going to allow anyone else too.

          • rickd

Mr. Deer-in-headlights says he will not forget and accuses conservatives of having amnesia. Let me explain to you what amnesia is-1. FORGETTING that our country was founded upon the love of God and for his many blessings. Yet, you liberal Dems have the audacity to remove God’s name from prayer at innauguration of Hussein and displayed appalling behavior by actually booing when God’s name was mentioned at your recent national convention.
2.FORGETTING that our national debt has spiraled out of control and you have the nerve to support a man who says it is unconscientiosnable in 2007 how GWB allowed deficit to reach this level, yet he can turn around and say “we don’t have a spending problem when hduring his time in office the nat. debt has increased at a level surpassed by past 7 presidents.
            3. FORGETTING that he blamed Bengazi fiasco on a video produced months ago and failed to provide support for our brave Ambassadors when they called for help. He chose to investigate this matter until AFTER the election. How convenient!!
            4. FORGETTING that he promised to close the camp at Guantanimo and excoriated Bush for investigative tactics; yet, he claims that continuing to have it operational serves a vital purpose. (You can’t have it both ways, Barry!!)

That, Mr. Deer-whereever-you-hide- is what we call in my profession as selective attention. While you are claiming “not to forget”, I’d suggest you place these items in your “remember file” also.

          • Jeff

“FORGETTING that our country was founded upon the love of God and for his many blessings. Yet, you liberal Dems have the audacity to remove God’s name from prayer at innauguration of Hussein and displayed appalling behavior by actually booing when God’s name was mentioned at your recent national convention.”

Had you been around at the time, it might have occurred to you that God’s blessings were apparently given to a very few – the white, the male, and the privileged. The entire history of our country has been the expansion of the rights at first afforded only to the landed gentry to everyone else. And at every step of the way, there’s been a group (mob) of conservatives claiming the sky would fall if (women, Blacks, gays, younameit) were included as full citizens. So, spare me the horror story about the non-conservative nature of our current president.

          • rickd

Being non-conservative is something I can tolerate….maybe idealistic and irrational–but something I will respect. What I find appalling and disdainful is our ‘leader’ and his party ignoring where and from whom these blessings came. Having differing political ideologies is one thing….having a disregard for the priciples upon which our country was founded is quite repugnant and unacceptable.

          • Jeff

That’s` pure crappola. Obama has more the spirit of this country than most of the privileged presidents who preceded him. Obama understands the true meaning of American Exceptionalism, not the Bush-Cheney braggadocio. American Exceptionalism is about change and perfection (“creating a more perfect union”), knowing we’ll never achieve perfection. American Exceptionalism is not about we’re the strongest so international rules don’t apply to us. Obama is the only president I’m aware of who has said in no other country is his story possible. I hate to break it to you, but “sour grapes” is not a political philosophy, and it’s no longer 1954.

          • rickd

You reference to O’s claim for “change and perfection” is a noble goal but it’s the way he’s going about trying to achieve it that is the problem!! His philosophy is to cram his liberal “the gov’t is the solution” down the throats of any dissenters. It is HE-not GWB- whi is the “bully” who is trying to pedal his liberal agenda. He caters to those who know little fail to understand that Socialism has always been a failure. As long as he promised to provide a large segment of our society with “free S***”, he was assured of getting their vote. He espouses “hope and change” when in reality it’s “hype and blame”. Look at how European countries are failing economically….that’s exactly where he is taking our country. Unfortunately, when your constituency primary concern is ‘just don’t do away with my free S***’, the voice of reason will not be heard until it’s too late. Mark my words: I predict by the time he leaves office in 2016 (hopefully sooner), our economy will be in shambles and probably never recover. That’s not sour grapes—that’s just called reality!!!!

          • Jeff

What free stuff did Obama promise? That’s a line straight from the right wing playbook and it has no validity. Romney, on the other hand, promised tax cuts, increase defense spending, and a balance budget by cutting PBS and Planned Parenthood. For such an astute business person (vulture capitalist) to add 2 plus 2 and get 10 was too much of a stretch, and he lost – badly. Obama recognizes that if we don’t make changes in our healthcare system, we’ll soon be spending 25% of GDP on medical care while the rest of the civilized world is at around 10%. Had he pushed a single payer system, the “socialist” label would at least make sense. I think it would have been the better alternative, but the system that was adopted is anything but socialist. The individual mandate was the Republican answer to a more government-run system. Of course, once Obama adopted it, the Republicans acted like it was designed by Lenin himself. Don’t you see any of this?

          • rickd

What I see, Jeff, which obviously you overlook, is the way our country is headed….down the same path of other socialist countries that are on the brink of disaster (e.g. Spain and Greece). Do me a favor: read Wayne Root’s column (with video) in today’s Personal Liberty email. He clearly compares our tax structure with other socialist countries. Pay close atention to what he reports regarding Cuba. I think you’ll find this to be enlightening!!

          • Samdromeda

You may want to look at the Feds control over the business cycle. There is usually a fascist backside to the coin that has a socialist face.

          • Jeff

Here are the sources of the deficit you reactionaries get so hopped up about the minute a Democrat gets elected but completely ignore so long as an R occupies the White House.

          • rickd

Thanks for the info you sent to ostensibly support your point. However, you failed to point out that the source was AND I QUOTE from the “liberal-leaning Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.” It’s comforting that the agency at least has the integrity to acknowledge that they are biased in their presentation. LOL!!

          • Jeff

I seem to have missed your counter-argument. Oh, I understand. It’s not real if it didn’t originate on Faux News.

          • rickd

I merely pointed out that your SOURCE acknowledged that it was “liberal leaning”….those were not my words but your sources words. Next time you might want to preface your point by stating that your source of information may be somewhat biased in the direction of your argument. But, I guess you could always pull a Hillary on us and say “What difference does it make?” You guys are good at that when you’re pressed into a corner. Nice try…but no cigar!!

          • Samdromeda

And what was Romney’s connection with the Central American Death squads? He was way too close to some very evil players.

          • Deerinwater

Ah! we are making sport of peoples Handles now are we ! ~ What is this? Sand Box 101? ~ I thought this was a political forum.

Cleaver ! how original and creative too! You must make your Mother proud?

I did not bother reading your stuff ~ knowing it would be driveling rant ~ A correct Address and Heading, is the start of any good posting. ~

You make the necessary adjustments for the beginning of a good posting and i’ll read it, do you understand Sir? ~

          • rickd

By the way a “cleaver” is what a butcher uses…”clever” is the message you chose to ignore (funny how you can call it “cleaver” yet claim you didn’t read it.) Humor me—read it—and maybe you’ll have a better grasp on what AMNESIA really is!! By the way, the disgnostic code (according to the DSM-IV-R-) for AMNESIA is 294.8. Maybe you could add that to your “handle”.

          • R. Fine

Actually the economic disaster was brought on by President Bush. President Obama SAVED us from the disaster. But you were close.

          • rickd

That’s analogous to the fox telling the hen “I’m just here to save you!!” Let’s examine how Hussein has saved us: Hmmm. He’s exponentially increased our national debt more than the previous 7 PRESIDENTS COMBINED. He asserts that we “don’t have a spending problem in the government.” He promises “no increased taxes for the middle class”…(check your paystub this week and compare it to last weeks). Oh yea, nice job of ‘saving us’. Need I go on or have I made my point?

          • R. Fine

If you are being honest and you really don’t know what the President has done to avert the world wide financial crisis that was heading our way then you are either in denial or you simply need one or more news sources that are reality based.

          • rickd

With your obstensibly vast knowledge of what you claim our “leader” has done to “avert a world-wide financial disaster” why don’t you be so kind as to enlighten me and others about his accomplishments!! And, while doing so, please attempt to reconcile that with the fact that our national debt has increased more in his 4 years of Presidency than the previous 7 Presidents combined!! I’m dying to hear how you put a positive spin on this one!

          • Deerinwater

Rickd say; “I’m dying to hear how you put a positive spin on this one!”

I Say, I ‘d prefer to keep you just the way you are Rick as that seems to be working quite well for both of us.

            Wouldn’t you agree?

          • rickd

Like most liberal, when confronted with facts or asked to provide facts to support their argument they use deflection and avoidance. Thanks for proving what Michael Savage says- “Liberalism is a mental disorder”. Duck and run—you guys are good at that!! That’s all for now….gotta’ go to work so I can support a liberal.

          • Samdromeda

The wealthiest nation on the planet is concerned about debt. The masses are being conditioned to think that we are enslaved to creditors while we do not have control over our own currency. You cannot set responsible fiscal policy until the Federal Reserve Act is repealed. The Federal Reserve is like a Thyroid gland gone wild. The Treasury Department should have control over our currency and it should not inhibit the use of local currencies. The tax payers should not be handcuffed to the Fed.

          • R.F.

Frankly I am not going to bother to outline Obama’s many positive accomplishments. You are set in a certain mindframe – like the GOP – of obstructionism and no amount of real information will alter your firmly held opinions about the President. I do however, suggest that you garner more of your knowledge from reality based news sources. In any case you are yet to see more great things from the President but you simply won’t see it that way. Also, Mitt, who was supposed to be some kind of great saviour certainly turned out to be one giant goose egg.

          • Deerinwater

Excellent Response RF. ~ Rick has his “program” and I’d prefer him to stick with it till the bitter end. His dysfunction can be an asset.

He needs to believe that he is a “winner” ~ let us allow him that pleasure since it seems to be working so well. ~ Foxed News proven to be quite an asset to the DNC, while I will admit , I didn’t see it that way for several years.

          • R. Fine

I could not agree with you more. The Republicans seem not to have learned a thing from the election. In any case the most extreme of them are at least honest – their policies are totally medieval but at least they proclaim them.

          • rickd

In my line of work I deal quite often with delusional patients, and undoubtedly you seem to suffer from this disorder. My sympathies are extended to you. For you to state that ‘great things’ have and will be done by this baffoon, this Fraud President, I find that laughable. Like most idealogical liberals, you are long on rhetoric but short on facts. When you say you won’t expound on his many accomplishments, I think if you’re truly honest with yourself, you’re actually saying “I can’t think of any!!” Are you aware that according to the latest polls only 39 % of US citizens are ‘optimistic’ about our country? That’s the lowest since 1979 (when Carter was President)…source Personal Liberty… Don’t forget 67 MILLION citizens voted against BHO. I know this will be hard for you to do, but try anyway. Ask yourself if you’re pleased with the tax structure? are you satisfied that we’re headed towards a socialistic republic? Are you satisfied that we’ve become a food stamp society? No, my side did not win the election (Romney was a weak candidate). But, we’re headed in the wrong direction…I just hope the majority of people wake up before it’s too late. (Please: no rhetoric….try reason and rational thinking.)

          • R. Fine

Romney was a weak candidate and the policies he had to espouse were plain dumb and had no appeal to such a wide range of Americans. Obama has ended one very costly war and is winding down the other and has been able to keep out of new ones as in Lybia (where he acted behind the scenes) and Syria. McCain wanted Obama to send weaponry to the Syrian opposition but Obama’s reluctance turned out to be the wiser move seeing as the opposition turns out to be radical Islamists. Obama saved the auto industry and prevented a world wide depression. Obama introduced universal health care which will go down in the annals of history as his greatest accomplishment. He has signed free trade deals with several countries and has raised America’s stature around the world just by not being an antagonistic dope. He’s heading the country to actively embrace clean and renewable energy sources like wind and solar power which makes so much sense that to knock it makes you an idiot. He prevented tax increases that would have happened if the Bush tax breaks had expired and he has seen to it that the mega rich – who get half or so of all the wealth pay a bit more towards the collective. He has reversed job losses which were rampant under Bush and has turned that trend around with even better times to come. But then you have heard all of this before which is why I did not want to bother pointing it out again. Fact is you think these moves are all bad. In any case Americans in the majority have sided with the President and by the way the GOP continues to rant and rave it seems almost certain that either Biden or Clinton will be the next President. Have a good evening unless you have plans to the contrary.

          • Jeff

            Great post. I fully agree.

          • rickd

Before you pull a Chris Mathews and get all gushy with praise for BHO, I’d like to point out some oversights in your commentary. To say our country is held in high esteem overlooks the lack of respect shown to Israel recently. As for “clean air”, what do you have to say about Solyndra? Your claim that Obamacare will be his greatest accomplishment is a pipedream. In my field of endeavor, I find few in the medical/mental health field who would support your contention. Gasoline prices have more than doubled since Barry took office. He continues to block efforts to expand domestic drilling. Yes, the BP fiasco was tragic, but you don’t shut down an entire industry!!.He contends “we don’t have a spending problem”. Are you kidding me??! You have an innauguration and you don’t even use the word God and thank Him for all the blessings bestowed upon us!! And, this is the kind of man you hold in high esteem?? Please, give me a break!! I hope you’ll save your response and review them again in 2016. I’m ceertain you will see the light…at least I hope so.

          • R. Fine

Lack of respect to Israel? What’s that all about? The President probably did get a bit upset when a foreign leader (from Israel) tries to influence a U.S. election. I think you should too quite frankly. Imagine if Castro tried to put some influence on Cuban Americans before an election. That would be O.K. with you? Hee, hee. Also, you may have fallen into the delusion that P.M. Netanyahu of Israel IS Israel. He is not. He’s an Israeli politician. Obama may rightly feel that Likud is not really interested in a two state solution and, guess what, it isn’t! And, by the way many Israelis do not care much for Netanyahu’s position on the occupied territories. You might want to review the results of the recent Israel election where the party opposed to Netanyahu made major gains. Obama is not, therefore, the only one critical of Netanyahu. A growing number of good old Israelis are too.

I knew you’d mention Solyndra. Funny how one failure can be used to discredit such an amazingly good idea as solar power. But that’s your problem. Solar power is the way of the future along with wind power and we’ll be having more and more electric cars down the road so to say. And, by the way, that Solydra ripped off the taxpayers is not so much an indictment of government aid to business as it is proof that their are good old American red blooded capitalist business people who are willing to rip the rest of us off by taking tax funds and taking off. I might add in passing that none other than Michelle Bachman has a company that takes taxpayer money too! She’s against it but she does it.

Universal health care is the only Christian way to view medicine. Medical care should not be a profit making situation where insurance companies are allowed to eat up a full 30% of all health care spending. That’s plain nuts. Also, that 40 million citizens had no care or needed to go bankrupt to get healthy is/was a scandal and a shame. But the President has started at least to rectify the problem. Not as well as our system in Canada but at least a start. I’d say you guys have now entered the 20th. century – 21 here you come during the second term. In Canada we view hospitals and doctors and nurses etc like the fire dept. Everyone chips in tax wise so when you need help (a fire or a heart attack) you get it at no extra cost. It’s a simple idea that you’ll get some day.

Oil prices have been dropping recently. In any case the U.S. actually exports refined oil (you may not have known that) so it can’t be too big a problem. It’s more an issue of the capitalistic oil giants making profits that make people’s eyes pop out when they see the numbers. And these same private companies actually get MASSIVE tax breaks. I guess that doesn’t bother you although I can’t imagine why it wouldn’t.

As for God you must not have actually watched the inauguration. God was mentioned a lot.

          • rickd

AHH! Canada!! I should’ve figure it out. Home of Socialized medicine. Something that all Dr. here in the US dread like a passion. My 2 neighbors here in south FL are from Canada & “love” to extol the virtues of socialized med. RIGHT!!! They’ve shared with me the horror stories; that’s one of the reasons they enjoy coming south..not only to get away from the cold but from a debilitating and crippling tax structure. Why is it that so many of you HABS like to move here but rarely do any of us want to move there? Can’t be all attributable to the weather, can it? Maybe it’s because most of us abhor the mind-set upon which your economic and social system is based.

          • R.F.

Of course there are always exceptions but most generally Canadians rave about our universal health care and we don’t have millions of fellow citizens who have NO coverage. I have a best friend in N.Y.C. who hates socialism as you do. He pays many thousands of dollars a year to an insurance company for health coverage. Then his wife came down with breast cancer and – to his surprise – they told him he/they were not covered! He had to pay a fortune to his doctors for the treatments. Even with that when I ask him how he feels about health care he still shouts out against the SOCIALISTIC system that Canada has. The HORROR of it. Of course up here our taxes are maginally higher but any and all illnesses are covered for all citizens. You can not even imagine how little anxiety we have in this regard and we cannot imagine the stress of Americans in wondering what will happen when one gets sick.

Regarding your Canadian doctor friends you might want to ask them if – when they crossed over to the U.S. & A. – did they reinburse the Canadian people for their many years of taxpayer funded tuition and hospital training. You see under our system education is heavily subsidized. University tuition for a year could easily be covered with a summer job or part time work after classes. I understand that under your system you go into major debt to get an education and, of course, many simply don’t try. Good system for rich I suppose but everyone else….? I remember well when Mitt promised to end government student loans – he suggested that poor kids “ask their parents for the tuition!!!! Talk about out of touch OMG. Anyway, point is that your Canadian doctor friends took advantage of tax payer subsidized education for all those years and then took off. Nice work if you can get it.

          • Jeff

I know Canadians who spend significant time in Southern California. They have tons of money and could get medical care here, but they return to Canada for their health care. I also know there are Americans living near the Canadian border who cross the border and claim to be residents there in order to get treatment and prescriptions. Sometimes it’s the difference between life and death because while emergency rooms will set a broken leg or revive a heart attack victim, you can’t go there for ongoing care (e.g. insulin, chemotherapy, cholesterol medications, etc.).

          • rickd

While the situation you described is sad and unfortunate, I’m not sure that the merits of Socialized medicine outweigh the drawbacks. An even broader issue is that there have been few socialist countries that have been successful for an extended period of time before experiencing a major economic collapse. I doubt the average Canadian is very happy with the current tax structure. I don’t claim to be an expert in this area but it certainly appears to be a disincentive to those who seek to better themselves.

          • R. Fine

Look no one likes paying taxes but generally Canadians appreciate what we get in return – a worry free life regarding all aspects of health care from cradle to grave. Israel has the same relatively high tax regime but not only do they get free health care (the best in the world according to your own Mitt Romney) but children get free dental. In Canada we only dream about universal dental care. As I’ve said before we consider hospitals as if they were fire depts. and doctors, nurses, etc as if they were fire fighters. When you need them they are there for you and we’ve all paid for it out of our collective graduated income taxes. Look, it worked in Mass. when Romney (he really seems to like socialized medicine despite what he said during the election) brought it in as governor. Obama even hired Romney’s medicare guy to draw up the Affordable Health Care law. The individual mandate was also a Republcan idea but they turned on it once Obama took a liking to it. Weird eh? It’s still not as good as what we have up here but perhaps it will be improved in Obama’s second term. Trust me, you’ll see how amazing it is after the improvements. Actually even as is. Cheers

          • Jeff

Being critical of some of the policies of Israel’s right wing Prime Minister does not make one anti-Israel nor anti-Semitic. There is a vibrant debate over these issues in Israel, but somehow the conservatives in this country have a litmus test where any criticism of any Netanyahu action constitutes hatred of Israel.

            http://www.economist.com/news/middle-east-and-africa/21570696-sparky-performance-middle-road-party-may-pull-binyamin-netanyahu

I, for one, believe the Likud Party is the greatest threat to Israel’s long-term survival as a Jewish State. If they do not figure a way to settle the issue with the Palestinians, in 20 years Israel will become the new South Africa. That has to be avoided even if it takes some risk to do so. I recognize the difficulty in dealing with the Palestinians, but the Israelis have to be the grownups and get it done.

          • rickd

So, let me see if I follow your logic. It’s OK to criticize Netanyahu but it’s not OK to criticize Obama, right? You seem to want it both ways!! Conservatives are labeled as radicals if we take exception to support for Israel, while we’re always considered to be out-of-touch if we don’t approve of the way Barry is taking our country. Did I get that right? We should be pleased that we’re becoming a Socialistic society with ever-increasing governmental control? We’re supposed to get in line and applaud this “progressive” regime? I think not!! Do you realize (according to Wayne Root’s article in yesterday’s Personal Liberty) our tax structure far exceeds even most of the Communist/Socialist countries? And, this is supposed to be a good thing? We’re supposed to say it’s OK for the outgoing Secretary of State to beligerantly say: “What difference does it make?” when queried about the Benghazi fiasco? I’m sure you’d be screaming for her head if C.Rice saud something like that after the 911 tragedy!! You may be winning now but at what cost? Answer: the demise of our country.

          • Jeff

Who ever said it’s not OK to criticize Obama? For God’s sake, there are news stations, radio bands, and web sites galore that do nothing but. The difference is nobody calls someone anti-American because they criticize Obama. Obama gets criticized from the left and the right. Now, I think a lot of the criticism of Obama is both stupid and below the belt (Muslim, Socialist, the dumb names, the racial bigotry), but really? where do you come up with these straw man arguments? On the right, it seems to have become a sacred article of faith that any criticism of Israel, particularly with Likud in power, is anti-Semitic. This is patent nonsense as roughly half the Israeli people disapprove of Netanyahu’s settlement policies. And I suspect upward of 70% of American Jews do as well.

          • rickd

I don’t know….I’m not Jewish. But, I’ll check with my Jewish neighbor when he returns from vacation—-I’m sure I’ll see him since I’m house-sitting his cat!! LOL!!

          • R.F.

Hillary asked the right question. Fact is Lybia and Benghazi in particular is a hot spot. Lots of idiots running around with heavy weapons and they themselves have short fuses. Then a video comes out in the states and whether anyone there saw it or not they certainly heard about. So riots and demonstrations start happening in Cairo and Pakistan and in other Arab lands. Benghazi too. And so some of those heavy weapons get fired at the consulate. Was it a riot? Was it a planned attack with the video just as an excuse? Was it a demonstration? or was it kind of a combination of all of the above? How does it matter. It was mayhem either which way and we know the result was not good. But whining about it over and over again for months and months – what’s the use in that?

          • Deerinwater

            Well R.F.

Many in the GOP see this as an opportunity to cast doubt about the leadership abilities of Hillary Clinton. ~ Hillary is perceived as a eminent future threat to the GOP and GOP ambitions. This is exactly why this incident has been so publicized and been so politically polarizing.

That Republican Senator smelled blood in the water and went on the attack while slow to realize that it was their blood as Hillary fought back with the facts and the merits of the evidence.

            http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2013/01/23/four-memorable-moments-from-hillary-clintons-benghazi-testimony-video/

We, the American people needed this disclosure ~ as it only now do many of us begin to see the big picture. ~

The GOP had restricted funding ~ in their wisdom to control spending ~ which included security and security measures. ~ Today’s congress controls the purse strings ~ an much like 43′s GOP administration, they want things ~ but they just don’t want to pay for them.

            .

          • Jeff

I think it is pretty clear the perpetrators were terrorists and not demonstrators. But I think it’s also pretty clear that given the demonstrations in Cairo and elsewhere that the terrorists used that atmosphere as cover for their plot. I’m sure that they were at first viewed as demonstrators and that fact impacted the readiness of security personnel. Rand Paul would like to personally blame Hillary Clinton for every security guard who wasn’t fully alert, but he doesn’t blame himself for cutting the State Department budget and of course he never blamed W for 9-1-1. Every President deserves a mulligan, especially if he’s a Republican.

          • R.F.

Gee, I’m reading more and more most reasonable comments at this site!

          • rickd

What a bunch of nonsense!!! Typical liberal skirting responsibility-failing to hold Hillary accountable for shirking her primary duties. Try selling that B.S. to the families who suffered these tragic fatalities. “What difference does it make?” It makes all the difference in the world to get at the bottom of this fiasco!! It’s not whining over spilled milk…..it’s trying to get answers to what seems to have been a preventable tragedy. I’m sure you’d be the first in line to attack C.Rice if she made such a ridiculous statement concerning the 9-1-1 calamity. You guys continue to amaze me…as Freud said rationalization is a very powerful defense mechanism.

          • Deerinwater

Rick says ““What difference does it make?” It makes all the difference in the world to get at the bottom of this fiasco!! It’s not whining over spilled milk…”

Did you view this briefing Rick? ~ I don’t believe that you did ~ but if you did , you need to view it again.

I use your quote, “What difference does it make?” but that is not what Hillary said. What Hillary said to the Honorable Wisconsin Senator who was grilling her about the nature of the perceived threat and why was it not identified quickly and correctly was ,
” What difference does it make WHY they killed the Ambassador but WHO did it and WHERE they could be located and brought to justice”

No doubt you might have different feeling about the outcome of this Senate hearing , but what you can’t do is change the words spoken to appeal to a personal bias.

I thought Hillary was plain spoken in her testimony and accepted full responsibility working inside a framework of resources and time that was available to her.

I hope to someday judge Raul Paul and the Wisconsin Senator with the same standard that they apply and may they fair as well.

          • R. Fine

Well if you’re that interested in casting blame you may as well aim directly and firmly at House Republicans who pushed for and voted for and got REDUCED funding for security of American facilities overseas. If you need a real goat there you have it.

          • Deerinwater

            R. Fine says “If you need a real goat there you have it.”

LOL ! I think that they are looking for someone else’s Goat!

Just another example of Republican’s creating a big mess with their Skinflint ways of understanding money and the world they live in. ~ They have a shopping list ~ while any item not on their list, they refuse to pay for yet non the less expect it to be provided by Santa Claus ! Maybe a few American vacationer with Swiss Army knives will fill in the gaps in security?

If you apply Tea Party Republicans own rational “connect the dots” thought process~ It is the Tea Party Republicans themselves that has killed our Benghazi Ambassador and his staff for withhold funds for security, allowing hostile forces to see our Benghazi US Embassy as a “Soft Target” and easily overcome.

          • R. Fine

I continue to wonder why the Ambassador was even in Bengahzi late at night in a town literally bristling with weapons in the hands of various militias. Also seemingly forgotten in all of this was the secret(?) C.I.A. building and contingent just a block or so away from the consulate. There’s a good movie script somewhere in all of this.

          • Deerinwater

            For what it’s worth,

Democrats enacted $1.803 billion for embassy security, construction and maintenance for fiscal 2010, when they still controlled the Senate and House. After Republicans took control of the House and picked up six Senate seats, Congress reduced the enacted budget to $1.616 billion in fiscal 2011, and to $1.537 billion for 2012.
The administration requested $1.801 billion for security, construction and maintenance for fiscal 2012; House Republicans countered with a proposal to cut spending to $1.425 billion. The House agreed to increase it to $1.537 billion after negotiations with the Senate.

          • Jeff

The difference between Democrats and Republicans is Democrats at least try to know what they’re talking about before they attack. Had 9-1-1 happened under a Democrat and had that Democrat told the aide who brought him the August 6 memo he had “covered his ass,” how do you think the Republicans would have acted? As restrained as the Democrats? I think not. They would still be blaming him personally for the 3,000 dead. But W was able to tout his “safety” record without anyone falling down in laughter.

I think it’s pretty clear the Benghazi attack was by committed terrorists who were opportunistic enough to know they would initially be viewed as mere protesters given what had happened in Cairo and elsewhere. If you think leadership is about sitting back and waiting for an opening to attack, you just might be a Republican!!!

          • rickd

“Sitting back and waiting to be attacked” is just what your Democratic leadership did. Thanks for making my point. I find it interesting that the “lame street media” is so up the ass of Obama that they’d rather focus on a comment a Republican makes about “rape victims” ad nauseum but are afraid to broach the subject of Benghazi with Barry until after the election. When a Republican says something that sounds stupid, they pounch like pirrhanas but give Harry Reid a pass for his total abdication of his responsibilities—no budget out of the Senate in 4 years. If Republicans did that, we’d never hear the end of it. As I’ve said countless times, there is a double-standard. If you fail to acknowledge it, you are either stupid or blind. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and attribute this to “selective attention.”

          • Samdromeda

Someone had to pay for the C.I.A. incursion into Libya to overthrow Qaddafi? It is, after all,
our tax dollars purchasing our security. “We are the Borg. You will be assimilated.” Our foreign policy is much the same. It costs money to make the world safe for democracy. Blood is spilled on both sides. Neither side needs any more bloodshed. Have you noticed that the transitional government in Libya had an audience with Putin in Russia. I do not remember them being invited to Washington. But our tax dollars helped them overthrow their leader with the help of a C.I.A. army and the overtures of an emissary to get the ball rolling. We have a name for people who stir up strife and or support the overthrow of domestic governments. They are called “Outside Agitators.” We have been so successful with this formula that the removal of the same type of weapons from the public is being pushed just in case someone wishes to try it here on U.S. soil. Our foreign policy is scaring our government and we pay the price in lost freedoms. The deaths in Benghazi was collateral damage in a war on terror and the acquisition of American interests in foreign countries. We give arms to dissidents like liberating armies throwing candy to children in the streets.

          • MrsCd

Agree that it is dumb ‘to pay’ for someone to have sex with anyone (single, married, homo, prostitute, etc.), to pay for an abortion because they weren’t responsible for their ‘own acts’ against themselves for others — for as a nation we cannot afford that. It is ludicrous (kookie) to think that someone cannot control their own behavior — movies and literature would make one think that they can’t, but the greatest judge of all says, “Go thy way and sin no more” — he didn’t ‘pay their way’ ‘with monies’, ‘only with his life’ on the cross for us, for our sin(s). We can be responsible for our own sins, and not for Adam’s (the first man on the Earth) nor for anyone else’s transgressions’.! — The inner core of the Earth would have to be made of liquid Gold in order to pay for everyone’s transgressions like Obama and the Democrats are asking us to do, but, ALAS, the center of the Earth is only made of molten lava — it takes thousands and thousands of years and dinosaurs to make gold and diamonds (and oil) that would now pay for the sins and transgressions of all ! These elements are not renewable, and neither is the fake wealth that Obama is trying to make for himself as presidential king of our nation — for the money he will try to have printed up is not only going to ruin us financially, but is just as bad as ‘corrupted money’ (he thinks it is alright though because he is called ‘president’. NOT !

Also — As a woman I know that ‘higher levels of hormones’ even in ‘pills’ (and soy products) can cause cancer, and other health issues in those who are susceptible, with other health and bodily problems, so one general statement is not true, for all women (and men or children).!

          • Jeff

That’s very nice, but must you always talk like Christopher Walken’s creepy character Duane in “Annie Hall”?

          • MrsCd

Am sorry, but I do not know that character — this is just me talking as a woman, a mother. Is that character in a book, or is it a video that it (he) comes from.? Why is it scarry to you, the way that I talk ?

It’s Obama that I can’t stand to listen to, the way he talks — and the way he hides behind little children like Hitler did to get his agenda across (and the way that Liberal Democrats also think and talk and pretend to themselves that Obama’s agenda is great for our nation, but it’s really not)).

          • Jeff

Another one with the Hitler comparisons. Don’t you know that in any logical discussion, if you have to bring up Hitler to make a point, you’ve conceded defeat?
BTW: “Annie Hall” the movie won the Academy Award in 1977. Not exactly an obscure reference. In one scene, Duane is explaining dreams or fantasies he has of driving on a 2-lane road and purposely steering into the on-coming traffic. Christopher Walken gave the character a creepy, other-worldly feel.

          • Deerinwater

Well MrsCd, please tell us what is it that justifies these suspicions of yours?

You are making your feeling known and making claims without attempting to presenting yourself in a way that attracts, or solicited our consideration or sympathy.

If you cannot find a way to support your claim, ~ even with smoke and mirrors ~ you need to convince us to consider your “feels” ~ Who is MrsCd? ~ You are not Betsy Ross, ~ do you hold a cabinet post or elected office. ~ What is it about MrsCd that make her insights worthy our consideration?

MrsCd say; ” this is just me talking as a woman, a mother. Is that character in a book, or is it a video that it (he) comes from.? Why is it scarry to you, the way that I talk ?

It’s Obama that I can’t stand to listen to, the way he talks — and the way he hides behind little children like Hitler did ”

That is not good enough MrsCd to sway minds Madam. You must offer more.

I have no problem listening to Obama, he speaks clearly ~ the people that say otherwise seems to have understood W Bush better ~ while W Bush could not even understand W Bush. W. Bush is the most misspoke President in American history.

and I’ve not seen 44 “hiding behind” anyone, much less children. He been out-front the whole time.

          • Samdromeda

There is the continuous problem of hormonal pollution of our drinking water. Have you noticed that men are getting soft and emotional? There is concomitant with this the raw nerve effect. Road rage is little more than men PMSing and they don’t even know what is causing it. It is caused by the pollution of birth control pills saturating our environment. Anabolic steroids can cause what is called Roid Rage. The individual becomes highly irritable. This phenomenon can also be electronically and sonically induced but the groundwork is laid by hormonal imbalance in the general population. Yes we are already paying for the incursion of eugenics into our reproductive cycle in the form of birth control pills.

          • MrsCd

Like you, believe that too many hormones in water and food can be a factor, and we won’t know for sure until someone neutral does a study for a Master’s or Doctorate degree.

The hormones could be causing more ‘Asbergers Syndrome’ and ‘Autism’ in our youth, especially the boys, but it could also be that because of safety regulations, more mothers are relying on ‘chairs’ (baby carriers) to raise their babies in, instead of carrying them around in the arms, and holding them on their laps — which stimulates the brain from the very beginning to work with the eyes to focus and see objects and the world they live in from different perspectives and helps them not to be ‘afraid’ of different sounds and movements — like autistic children do ! (Mothers should only tiptoe around them when they are sleeping or ‘taking their naps’, otherwise, babies need to be exposed to the sounds of the dishwasher cleaning the dishes, the laundry machines running as they clean the clothes, the vacuuming, wheat grinders grinding, and etc.)

Do also believe that our society is contributing bad influence on the male gender, and ‘teases’ into thinking that if they are close friends with another guy, then surely ‘they are Gay’, especially if they have not a good solid male role model to watch for masculine ways to copy, nor to ‘bond with’ right from birth, not made to feel that they are masculine because no one comments on those abilities to their faces, and if the guy likes to be clean, cook, sew, loves to push buttons on a computer and sees it respond to his curiosity, or loves to use his muscles and abilities to hang curtains for his mother, or give definite ideas about decorating a home or room, or loves ballet (which I believe is the most masculine sport that any guy can aspire to because it refines and makes all his muscles work together to poke out on his leg and gives it that strong masculine shape which is so sexually attractive because he can then carry his body so smoothly with adoringly sexual refinement and who as a woman wouldn’t want to be in his arms and hands dancing or walking around with him ? Goodness me….! )

Man is made in God’s own image (NO, he isn’t a woman or he couldn’t be our Father in Heaven. Duh.).

Most men are not being taught from birth to be honest and true and that is part of the frustration that most men face, and the frustrations of the fact that they know that they should be !

Believe that the worst place that you could put children under the age of five years old, is in a pre-school (that was my major in college, and did my student teaching for it, and a conscientious mother can do the same things at home with things from her kitchen like measuring cups, mixing bowls of water to put toys in for play, or take them outside to play in the dirt and look for bugs and worms, read to them even if it is ‘Good Housekeeping’ how-to’s, etc.).

          • Deerinwater

MrsCd says; “Most men are not being taught from birth to be honest and true and that is part of the frustration that most men face, and the frustrations of the fact that they know that they should be ! ”

I ask; Who taught them that?
