Obama’s Mortgage On Mayhem

June 22, 2011 by

Obama’s Mortgage On Mayhem

Almost all of Afghanistan’s economy is supported by foreign aid, most of which comes from the United States. We have a President who is borrowing money from a potentially much larger enemy, China, to finance foreign wars against Islamic countries who hate us.

According to The World Bank, 97 percent of Afghanistan’s gross domestic product is “derived from spending related to the international military and donor community presence.”

Afghanistan’s government has annual revenues of only $2.5 billion, but the cost of funding its security forces alone is estimated at between $6 and $8 billion. Yes, it sounds like Afghanistan runs its budget the way Washington runs ours.

The United States has spent $18.8 billion on aid to Afghanistan in the past decade. According to a report released by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, without proper planning, “Afghanistan could suffer a severe economic depression when foreign troops leave in 2014 unless the proper planning begins now.”

I have news for those Senators. Afghanistan is already suffering an economic depression. Trying to prove differently will only further bankrupt the United States. (President Barack Obama plans to announce today further troop withdrawals from Afghanistan.)

Afghanistan is a corrupt country that hates our Christian guts and has zero prospects for advancing beyond the Stone Age. Afghan President Hamid Karzai is at best a drug addict and at worst a jihadist in sheep’s clothing.

According to the newspaper The Chronicle Herald, Karzai is no better than Moammar Gadhafi: “Since the tampering and corruption of the August 2009 presidential elections in Afghanistan failed to produce a legitimate result, the Hamid Karzai regime, like Gadhafi, has no legitimate democratic mandate.

“Karzai remains in power simply because he was the chosen candidate of the U.S. in the first place. The notorious Northern Alliance warlords who constitute Karzai’s cabinet are known to have committed numerous war crimes, and some continue to preside over narco-criminal drug enterprises, yet they remain unindicted (sic) for the simple reason that NATO needs their authority to run the country.”

The only booming businesses in Afghanistan are terrorism and opium. Their heroin is smuggled onto our streets, turning cities into slums and destroying American values.

Furthermore, Karzai has implemented Sharia law, including a 2009 law which makes it legal for a husband to rape his wife. Under the law, if the wife won’t comply with her husband’s advances, it is OK to starve her. And if you think a Ben Franklin-type person is about to spring forth in Afghanistan, think again. It is a crime punishable by death for a citizen to convert to Christianity.

According to Pacific Free Press, there were 96,900 U.S. troops and 87,483 supporting contractors in Afghanistan at the end of last year. That means there are almost 200,000 Americans backstopping a country rife with extremists.

Still, the Administration of President Barack Obama seems to have no immediate plans to pull out of Afghanistan.

As reported by Pacific Free Press, a Public Broadcasting Service reporter said: “An executive at a small defense contractor recently joked to me, ‘Afghanistan is our business plan.’ I asked him what he would do if the war ended. He stared at me for a moment and said, ‘Well, then I hope we invade Libya.’”

For the military industrial establishment, things are turning up roses. If some people in the Obama Administration get their way, there will be boots on the ground in Libya.

And it is not stopping there. On June 8, The New York Times reported that the Obama Administration has intensified the American covert war in Yemen. It seems Obama has never met a war he didn’t like. He has almost the whole alphabet covered, from A to Y (Afghanistan to Yemen). South Africa’s Zulus better be on alert.

Borrowing From Peter To Kill Paul

And where exactly is the money coming from to fight all these wars against Islam? Financing much of this fighting is China, which continues to buy U.S. Treasury bills, notes and bonds. It is an ingenious way of doubling down on America’s impending ruination.

The United States has a national debt of $13 trillion. How does a bankrupt nation keep fighting foreign wars? It borrows money.

China holds almost $1 trillion of Uncle Sam IOUs. It is the country with the most to gain from America’s grand decline.

In a column on Digital Journal, freelance writer Kelly Bowlin wrote: “Let’s put things in perspective. The U.S. has hit its debt ceiling. This comes as bad news, because we’re currently fighting 3 un-winnable wars.”

One of the few people who seems to understand and has a vote in Congress is Presidential candidate Ron Paul (R-Texas).

Paul is one of six members of the House of Representatives who released a letter earlier this month calling for a reduction in U.S. military spending by scaling back U.S. military commitments and reconfiguring the country’s global military strategies.

Paul said Congress “cannot be serious about reining in federal government spending if we take the military budget off the table. We must focus our resources on defending the United States rather than on building and maintaining an unsustainable trillion-dollar empire overseas.”

I commend Paul for his efforts, but I fret they amount to calling a Roman water wagon while Nero was plucking his fiddle. America’s financial situation is in extreme peril because of decades of bad policies. Obama is only making matters worse.

The end result will be the continued devaluation of the U.S. dollar and a bear market in dollar instruments. The U.S. economy is again staggering, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average is clinging at 12,000.

Action to take: Expect a summer of discontent at home and abroad as well as in the financial markets. Keep your investments in real assets, either with physical precious metals or with carefully chosen equities that own real assets such as gold, silver, oil and gas.

Yours in good times and bad,

Seems Obama is waging the same war every conservative was in favor of when Bush was in Office. There is an argument to be made that had the previous administration not used billions to invade a sovereign nation (Iraq) we would not be in this saturation or at least not as deep in the pockets of China. But that war no matter the legality of it was fought for the oil companies, so I guess that makes it a righteous war. Besides anything Obama does can’t be for the good of the country because he is after all Obama. So John next time try not to be so overtly bias in your reporting we will still understand your intent. Only when it (the war) ceased to be conducted by Bush did you become concerned with you fantasy belief of a war on Islam.

    • wandamurline

We went into Iraq “because they had weapons of mass destruction” that nobody found…we took out Saddam Hussein…mission accomplished. We fought in Afghanistan to take out Osam Bin Laden as he was the mastermind of 9/11…he is now dead (think he had been dead for some time already, but anyways) mission accomplished. With the mission being accomplished, why in the hell are we still there? As fare a Libya, Obama (and he is on video stating this very fact) did not have the Constitutional authority to bomb Libya who was not a “direct” threat to the US…I guess he took his orders from the League of Arab Nations and the UN, instead of the Constitution. It is time to end all of these wars as our mission has been accomplished…we could stay over there for a hundred years and as soon as we leave, it will fall like Saigon did in the 1970′s….these wars are unwinnable with a bunch of morons who have a hostile religion and have been killing each other for hundreds of years…nothing is going to change over there. Bring our soldiers home and station them on the border with orders to stop the invasion by any means they deem necessary. It is time to take care of America, and We The People’s needs for a change.

      • Bud Tugly

        Good points.

        • Jana

          Hey ron,
          Where is the oil then????

          • Mary

I believe is all about oil. If we know nothing is going to change in those 13 century countries why the government are sending our children to get kill?. Looks like contractors are making a lot of money . What a nasty bloody business. This is The new American Century.

          • http://Moreexpensive,moreunknowproblems. Lewis Munn

The oil? Still locked in the ground in the Dakotas and western Canada!

And being sucked out of the Gulf or Mexico and the SW Atlantic ocean by various small countries along the edges.

It seems of all the countries around the Americas, only the US is forbidden to take our own oil!! So we give away our riches to other, smaller countries, in foreign aid, and in oil payments, and let our own people starve and become enslaved to our government welfare!

            Some plan!!

But rthen, where do our politicians get a lot of trheir personal fortunes??

      • Christin

        wanda,
I am in agreement with your statements.

Past Time to pull out of the unwinnable muslim wars in the Middle East.

The wars are just sinking us into debt and not accomplishing much.
Bring our freedom fighting troops home to protect America and Americans.

        • Kate8

Christin and Wanda…- The wars are doing exactly what the elites want them to do: weaken our military, bring us to financial collapse, and continue to escalate the anger of Islamic countries toward us. Meanwhile, our gov. continues to invite these angry Muslims into America by the millions, giving them our tax money to buy homes and businesses, and giving them an opportunity to increase their numbers with the goal of massive bloodshed on our soil.

          • Christin

            Kate8,
I know… and all it seems we can do is sit here and talk about it with our mouths hanging open in disbelief that a time in American history has come to this.

          • Jana

I agree with you Kate8. We need to keep our dollars home and get our soldiers home.

          • Robin from Arcadia, IN

Kate8….. And we have to sit on our hands and watch it all happen, while the rest of America remains apathetic and Washington goes on, unstoppable. Yes.. Barry is doing what he said he would… fundamentally change America. Too bad those who voted for him didn’t bother to ask what he meant.

      • http://none Bettie

I agree with you 100%. We need to take care of our own country, now, before it is to late. We have to save it for our children and grandchildren.

      • Marty S.

I agree with you on the protection of our borders, they are leaking in all sorts of undesirables and we need to protect them starting immediately before a true crisis begins. However, we should be prudent in our retreat from international presence especially in key regions. It would be wise to perhaps retain a more covert presence in many of the hot spots taking the fight to our enemies when necessary and maintaining our intel there. But to keep tens of thousands of American troops out in the open desert or mountain range thousands of miles away is simply asking for trouble in my opinion. I just wish the idiots running the show with the aid of the government owned media would not tell our enemies what the hell we are up to so much. “Loose lips sink ships”

      • April

I have personally met people that drove by those weapons of mass destruction on a daily basis. They tried to get the news out about it but the main stream media refused to cover it. They hid them by a mosque because they new we would not attack there. I will look for some sites.

      • BOB H

What you have said here is so true. i hope sincerely that Ron paul does run for President, because if you look at this situation and what we have let these past presidents done to our Country…Ron paul is our only hope.

    • JeffH

ron, how can you write so much but say so little? Iraq and oil companies? Where’s the oil? By your way of thinking I guess you mean two wrongs do make a right. All along I thought Obama was a peacenik…guess I was wrong! I guess you thought all of us conservatives love war…well guess again!

      • eddie47d

Everyone who supported the Iraq War when it first started raise your hand! Yes Iraq has oil and we wanted it so it doesn’t matter if we didn’t get it. The Conservatives who were opposed to the Iraq War should have squawked louder and the Liberals who don’t like our new Libyan “war” better be speaking up too.

        • Jana

          eddie,

          eddie47d

Then where is the oil if that is what you say we were over there for? We sure haven’t seen any. The powers that be didn’t say that that was why we were there, just people like you.
Plus, how come the big change around on your part? You complained loudly when we went to Iraq but keep silent on the Libyan war and the escalated war in Iraq. Sounds like a double standard.

          • Jana

That last paragraph was what eddie said, i just forgot to delete it.

          • April

YEP, sure does sound like a double standard to me too. Hhmmmmmmm!

        • http://burkecomputers.blogspot.com/ DanB

I was originally sold the war in Iraq as the removal of a known brutal dictator with weapons of mass destruction. So based on how Saddam treated his own people, there was valid reason to believe that if he did indeed have weapons of mass destruction that it wouldn’t be long before he used them or “sold” them to someone like a certain terrorist organization….

As for the oil, as I learned of that, it sort of disgusted me. I thought how awful it was that politics would corrupt our war. Now I come to accept the sad reality that wars are waged over oil all the time, both by Republicans and Democrats. Ironic that Obama has dragged us into a war over oil = Libya. Ironic because Obama tells the American public that he has a solid “green” agenda. And ironic because the oil is for France and another country, it isn’t even oil for America!!! Of course, that does make it easier for the Democrats to sell us the idea that this war is not another war for oil because the oil isn’t for America so we can remain blissfully ignorant.

Now if oil was the only post discussion after we learned that weapons of mass destruction were not forth coming, then I would having nothing more to say than that I was naive.

However, I heard that Saddam had actually been using an impressive, well funded, and skilled intelligence group to deceive America. Now if this had kept us from invading his land, then it would have been a very clever ploy and bluff. However, we were sensitive to destruction on our own land from the collapse of the Twin Towers, so it was easy to sell Americans the concept of a proactive invasion. So if this was true, that Saddam was deceiving our intelligence agencies, then I must reach a few conclusions. One, it could have been one of the greatest bluffs of all time if it had worked. Two, if we had made a fool of ourselves for years claiming he had weapons of mass destruction because of false intelligence, we would have been made great fools of in the eyes of the world and Saddam probably could have leveraged that for favor in neighboring countries. Instead, we invaded proactively, and although we still look the fools, I must report that he is now dead having had to pay for the crimes he inflicted upon his own people during his brutal reign as dictator. When you are a brutal dictator, you have to be constantly on guard to make sure you do not lose power. So inciting America to invade was stupid. Three, after considering all the foolishness of this supposed misleading intelligence to go around, if this claim is true, it completely lowered my evaluation of our intelligence agencies. For if it was true that Saddam intentionally created the illusion of having weapons with which to intimidate American people, then he made a fool our intelligence agencies and demonstrated that they could be deceived for all of us to see.

          • http://Moreexpensive,moreunknowproblems. Lewis Munn

But you folks miss the major weapon of mass destruction, drugs! We are so busy looking for huge warheads we miss all the drugs coming in, even through our open door to Mexico, and sapping our nation’s money and strength both!

Our big loud jets whoosh all over blowing things up, but the opium fields still bloom and the drugs flow in in caravans! By invitation of the present government, and tacit cooperation of past governments.

And a drugged people cannot understand to defend themselves!!

        • Robin from Arcadia, IN

eddie47d… Was it really all about the oil? If it was, why are we paying $4.00 a gallon for gas?

          • eddie47d

Robin and Jana; No hypocrisy on my side. I don’t support the Libyan incursion and have said so several times. Now Iraq did have alot of oil and we wanted it. The war is still going on and many of the destroyed wells are still not up and running. It’s hard to get oil from a country that is in turmoil. Logistics make it tough to get it out of Iraq. Look at all the oil tankers that are blown up in Pakistan and were heading to Afghanistan. Iraq was and in some places still is that dangerous. Bush’s plan for oil backfired, plane and simple

          • April

            sure eddie

    • Libertarian

The war in Iraq was fought for the BIG corporations, with the lives of ordinary lives of Americans and Iraquis (the most secular, western, advanced Muslim country, under the Hussain regime). It had NOTHING to do with 9/11 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_A77N5WKWM – Bush admits that Iraq Had Nothing To Do With 9/11), neither did Osama (http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/topten/usama-bin-laden/view – FBI — USAMA BIN LADEN, CHECK UNDER WARNING WHAT HE WAS WANTED FOR, OK?).

      WAKE UP!!

      • Bob Marshall

renmber when Rumsfeld said the war in Iraq would last maybe a few months.Maybe would cost 2 billion.3 billion . Maybe as much as 20 billion. It would not cost the taxpayers. It would be paid with Iraqi oil sales. It is still on the internet for all to see and hear. If bullsh_t could be packaged and sold the Whitehouse could solve our debt crisis.

        • Libertarian

That whole team was composed by War Criminals (by ANY standard of law applied!!!) and it is sickening to see ANY of them parading around the world as some kind of saviours and heroes, getting paid HUGE amounts to do that! They, and the people who FINANCED them are the REAL WMD of this world!

One law is desperately needed: whoever declares war MUST fight on the frontlines!

          WAKE UP!

          • Kate8

Libertarian – Great idea. Just like the kings of old, who were always leading the front lines…any leader today who wants to invade another nation should have to lead the charge, rather than sitting in a plush office talking to generals on a screen.

Maybe they’d have more respect for our troops.

I’ll bet we’d have a lot fewer wars.

      • http://Moreexpensive,moreunknowproblems. Lewis Munn

WHY do so many liberals quote brain-damaged Bush as the authority?

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

You are judged by the same measure in which you judge sir. While Bush was fighting these wars, the press railed on him constantly as did all the liberal talking heads, as a war monger, and “Bush’s war for oil”. Gee, now that Obama has escalated these wars, and started yet another one, illegally mind you without congressional approval, where is the outcry from the liberals and the press? Why is this not Obama’s war for oil? I mean, Bush didnt take any oil, so if it was a war for oil, then by all means, wouldnt it be Obama’s war for oil? What about Mikey Moore’s assertation about an oil pipeline through Afghanistan that Bush was after? I guess now Obama is after that. Where is the outcry and assault from the liberals and the press about this war monger Obama, starting a third war on his own without congressional approval? How long will losers like you blame and point the finger at Bush? It was every stinking democrat that wanted this war before Bush was even a candidate for President. I watched Bill Clinton stand there on national TV and tell America that this Saddam Hussein guy had weapons of mass destruction, was dangerous and had to be stopped. And Hillary did the same thing. As did John Kerry, Howard Dean and John Edwards. As did Ted Kennedy. They all did. And they were right. Only not a one of them was man enough to do anything about it, as they all belonged to the pacifist appeasers known as democrats. Once the Republicans came into office, and 9-11 happened, they were man enough to have had enough of these punks punching us in the nose, and took the fight to them. Now the democrats have screwed it all up, more guys are dying than ever have before, and the press is hardly found anymore. Why? It is irresponsible journalism. That is what it is. When Bush was president, every time a civilian got killed, that was all you heard about for a week. Now 5 guys get killed in a day, OUR GUYS, and other than a brief mention of it, other than listening to FOX news, you wouldnt even know about it. What a bunch of lepers the national press are, giving these guys a free pass. You can point and place blame all you like pal, but those of us with a brain, and with an education, see what is going on, and its a damn shame these anti Americans are running the national press these days and cant report the truth.

  • karolyn

Duh, isn’t Obama making a speech tonight about how many men he’s starting the draw-down with? If people like McCain have their way, we’ll never get out of Afghanistan. I also don’t agree with the assessment that all Muslims hate us. Of course, I’ve seen the protests that occur, but I’ve also seen pieces with Americans interacting with Muslims in Afghanistan and other countries where the people are very warm and praise the US. Inflammatory remarks like this just serve to keep the kettle boiling.

    • Bruce D.

Now that’s a pair – Obama and McCain. They should have been on the same ticket as President and Vice President. I would like to see one person say they are going to reduce foreign aide, stop nation building, and mean it. I do not hear anyone even talking about it, except Paul, who no one takes seriously. Obama is sending millions to Libya in humanitarian aide in addition to the millions spent on the military in Libya.

      • http://www.easyinvest.co.za peter

Where is the messiah getting the millions from?

        • Al Sieber

          He just prints it up.

          • Jana

            karolyn,
I agree, not all Muslims hate us and I didn’t read in John Myers piece that he said they did. He was talking about Afghanistan, not ALL Muslims.
You think inflammatory remarks keep the kettle boiling, but the truth sets you free. We can’t help ourselves or anyone else by lying to ourselves about these issues. If they were untrue it would indeed be hurtful, but sadly it is NOT untrue.

home boy… Too bad so many of those who voted for Barry really thought that. He, being half black, would be their savior. I would like to see interviews with those people and see what they think now.

Nobody take Ron Paul serious? Are you serious?

          • Jana

            DaveH,

I was talking to a lady that went to the Republican Leadership Conference and wow did she have a few things to say about this straw poll.
She stated that Herman Cain was giving his speech then next was to be Ron Paul. Just before Cain was to speak the room was flooded with Ron Paul supporters who was very rude to Cain during his speech. She said they booed him and made insulting noises throughout his speech. Then after Ron Paul spoke they all left. She also said that they just pushed their way in like the ones in attendance was just in the way.
She also stated Ron Paul is very much of an isolationist, and does NOT consider Israel our ally, according to his speech.
She also said that the straw poll was fixed by Ron Paul supporters.
They were there for one reason only and they accomplished their mission.

          • DaveH

            Jana,
First of all, the Ron Paul supporters should have been more polite, for sure. But since I wasn’t there to witness it myself, I would take that with a grain of salt, as your lady friend may have been very biased.
But, let’s put it in perspective. Most of the establishment Republicans probably have no compunctions about the drug wars which are killing or emotionally maiming victims constantly across our country. And they probably also have little concern about risking our young men and womens’ lives on useless military actions around the world.
And our Government shouldn’t be spending other peoples’ money supporting any countries, whether Israel or whoever. It’s not their money to give.
Bottom line, I find it hard to get worked up over a little booing.

          • DaveH

And Jeez, I’m getting hammered today with the propaganda words today. Not being the world’s policemen, and not borrowing money against our future generations to buy other countries’ loyalty, are not isolationist qualities.
Ron Paul is NOT an isolationist. In fact, less so than most of the other Republicans, because he believes in Real Free Trade across the globe, not the kind that involves political favors.

          • Jana

            Dave,
I wasn’t there either, but the ONLY reason he won the straw poll was because of the influx of his supporters. If he were truly serious about the Presidency, and since he claims or runs on the Republican ballot, then he ought to encourage his followers to get involved to make a read difference, not just attend for the straw vote to make a show.

        • DaveH
        • DaveH

No doubt that Ron Paul has an uphill battle against the Republican establishment and the MSM. Free Marketers are anathema to Mercantilist Republican establishment leaders and the MSM. The Republican Party has been practicing Crony Capitalism since the beginnings of their Party. And the Democrat Party has surely not been opposed to Crony Capitalism for a long time now. They just have a different set of Favorite Capitalists. Unfortunately, it seems that most of mainstream voters in both parties have not caught on to that reality. I’m hopeful that John Stossel, Judge Napolitano, Bob Livingston, and others can change that lack of knowledge of the mainstream voters.

          • http://Personalliberty Tony

            To DaveH:
The problem is the Repubs. will never give Ron Paul a chance. They’ll
do the same thing to him that they did in 2008. Thanks!!

          • Vigilant

According to Wikipedia, “Paul has said that the ninth and tenth amendments to the U.S. Constitution do not grant the federal government any authority to legalize or ban abortion, stating that “the federal government has no authority whatsoever to involve itself in the abortion issue.”

Interesting, in view of the fact that he signed the Pro-life petition which states, in its second of four pledges:

“SECOND, to select only pro-life appointees for relevant Cabinet and Executive Branch positions, in particular the head of National Institutes of Health, the Department of Justice, and the Department of Health & Human Services;”

As much as I admire and agree with Paul, he’s treading on thin ice here by contradicting his own stated principles of “hands off” the abortion issue by the Feds. The move implies political expediency over principle, and it’s disappointing.

          • DaveH

I’m going to post this first. Then I’ll listen to it:

          • DaveH

I generally think abortion is a mistake, but it’s not our mistake to make, it’s the mother’s mistake to make. It’s the mother who might die from childbirth. It’s the mother who might raise an unwanted child (maybe another Jeffrey Dahmer, who knows). We just need to butt out of other peoples’ decisions.

          • Vigilant

Yes, everyone please see that video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jj1f–yU6GY&amp

The second part of the pledge, the one I’m talking about, is the one the narrator regrettably does not face square on. He doesn’t explain how inserting Federal cabinet members and others is a contradiction of Paul’s principles of keeping the Feds out of our business.

Has Ron paul himself defended that second pledge? I’m not aware if he has, but it would be a very interesting response. As I said, I like and agree with him on so many things, so this obviously political approach to the problem is a bit disappointing. Does anyone have a link?

          • Vigilant

            From http://americanleadershipfund.com/?p=751

“We’re pleased that Ron Paul signed the SBA-List pledge. However, in a recent conversation with two leaders of major Pro-Life organizations, I learned that because Ron Paul doesn’t believe Life has a federal role, and he votes accordingly, he gets poor ratings from their organizations. It’s one thing to say you’re Pro-Life and to sign a pledge, and another to say you’re Pro-Life, and then vote the Pro-Life bills down in committee or on the floor because “they don’t have a federal role.” The two positions, linked together, are incompatible and contradictory. Frankly, Life does have a federal role in an unalienable way.”

          • Carlucci

Ron Paul is anti abortion. He is an OB/GYN and has delivered over 4,000 children.

His Libertarian philosophy is that your body is your body. What you do to and with your body is your business. I do not agree with abortion at all, but unfortunately, it is still legal. Dr. Paul also believes that people can marry whomever they want. Libertarianism is all about freedom and not meddling in other law abiding citizens’ business here and abroad.

          • Vigilant

            Carlucci,

I agree with all you’ve said.

          • DaveH

The Constitution does not give the Federal Government the power to regulate Abortion. That is Ron Paul’s stance. Good for him. At least one person in Government believes that the Constitution isn’t a “useless rag”.

          • DaveH

As far as #2 in the pledge goes, Ron wants to roll back Unconstitutional Government Powers. So that would put them out of the Health Business. He also wouldn’t allow the Department of Justice to pursue such, as he has stated that the States should decide the issue. So the pledge, as signed by Ron, is a moot point respecting #2.

          • http://donthaveone Beberoni

If as you say Dave, the Constitution does not give the government the power to regulate abortion, I would also like to add, it sure as hell doesnt give them to power to make it legal, or even worse, to use our money to fund it, promote it, and even pay for it in third world countries which is one of the first things Obama signed into order when he came into power. Having said that, with the Republicans seemingly unable to produce a quality candididate, and the democrats being who the democrats are, liberal pacifist appeasers who care more about others countries and their rights than they do about America’s own freedom, your boy Ron Paul is starting to look better and better to me. Though their are things I do not like in the Libertarian Party, there are also things I do not like in my Republican party and they need to straighten it up, but seemingly are more interested in “reaching across the aisle” to the devil, than in getting their own house straightened up. So all in all, Ron Paul has gained my attention, and lets see if he can build upon that. I mean, you and I both know, having watched the Demoncrats and Republicans, that together they have spun us to where we are circling the drain, and we need to stop it before we get sucked down the drain pipe. Maybe Mr. Paul can be the stopper.

    • Jay

Wrong Karolyn, Obama will NOT withdraw any troops, there will be no soldiers coming home anytime soon, the war will continue. This talk of pulling the troops out is just that, TALK! If you really believe that Obama, or anyone else for that matter, will pull out the troops anytime soon, then you understand DEED-ELY SQUAT about the true nature of the war in the middle east. Its not about protecting human, rather, its about brutal colonialism. And make no mistake, where Bush sr. & jr. left off, Obama will more then happily continue, the difference between the two is only in tactics!

      • 45caliber

        Jay:

Perhaps I’m mistaken but I’ve always assumed that “colonialism” was the establishment of colonies of OUR people in another land to the point that these colonies sooner or later take over control there.

As far as I can tell, we’ve not established a single colony anywhere in the world yet.

        • DaveH

Perhaps a better word for what Jay means would be Imperialism.

          • Jay

I agree Dave, and thanks for the clarification, although, it could be said that colonialism today has taken on a different form, if you will, by establishing colonialism via the interference and installation of a preferred government or political system in the coveted region, namely, a western style of government, through which, the region is better controlled, and that, for the purpose of western interests!

          • Kate8

Jay, DaveH – I would say that it’s also about keeping wars raging, sucking up our economic and human resources and keeping the world in a general state of distrust and unrest.

Since the US has been, and is, being used as a club-wielding pawn for the global elite, and there is nothing at all for America to gain from these wars except more resentment and hatred from the world and, especially, the middle east; and not to mention setting China’s sites on us since we can never repay our “debt”…

Manipulating the state of the world what the elites do for entertainment. One has to wonder what they would do after accomplishing world government and utter control…I’m banking on them, at some point, being stopped in their tracks.

          • DaveH

You’re right, Kate. If they actually eliminated crime, or world turmoil, they would work themselves out of a job. Their vested interest is to keep things stirred up, and to protect their Crony Capitalists.

          • DaveH

I wanted to clarify about China. We owe them about $1.2 Trillion. Foreign bondholders including China hold about $4.6 Trillion of US Debt. Our GDP is about $15 Trillion. We could easily pay them all back if we got Government out of the Marketplace allowing energetic Americans to do their thing unfettered by meddlesome Bureaucrats, and cut the Federal Government back to its Constitutionally mandated powers. Just cutting Government back to its 1950s size would free up about $3.5 Trillion that is mostly being wasted by Government.

          • DaveH

For those that will jump on me saying that the Federal Government only spends $3.6 Trillion, I am talking about all Government in the US.

      • karolyn

I beg to differ. In his speech tonight he is expected to start it with at least 5,000 troops out of the 100,000 that are there and to continue the drawdown.

        • Jay

He will be pulling some of them out but only to redeploy them somewhere else in the region. So technically, yes, he will be withdrawing some of the troops, but not in the way you think, they certainly won’t be coming home, perhaps some, so as to give the illusion of seeming withdrawal, but the war WILL continue! Haven’t you learned yet, Obama and his administration is no different from that of Bush and his party. Both, Bush and Obama serve(d) the same elitist’s interests! Wake up!

        • JeffH

karolyn, I really don’t care what Obama has to say anymore…he’s a pathalogical liar just like the greatest majority in DC. How anybody can believe him anymore is way beyond my comprehensive abilities.

The progressives need some sort of rationale for their redistributionist, freedom-choking, intrusive agenda, and can no longer find one amongst reality. Therefore, blatant lies are the only tool remaining to them, and the president is wielding it freely.

ObamaCare will drive the nation into bankruptcy, so Obama claims the alternatives will kill your mother. Obama wants to spend more money on “shovel-ready”, union-approved infrastructure projects, so he makes up stories about bridges that fall due to shoddy upkeep (as opposed to inherent design flaws. The truth doesn’t help anyone here, unless you want to control the architectural business. Hmmm…). Obama need people to believe in “climate change”, since the only known solution to it just coincidentally happens to be the implementation of the entire liberal playbook, so he lies about it causing asthma in children.

So what type of liar is the president?

        • Wayne937

You folks just keep right on supporting your Muslim President who is destroying out country.

        • jibbs

Good luck, obama has said a lot of things, is that why he has started two new wars?

        • http://donthaveone Beberoni

He escalated it 10,000 troops did he not? So I found it amusing how he seemed to turn it that the other guys were wasting all this money on this war, where we need the money here, and yet he has been running this thing for over 2 years now, and has escalated it by 10,000 men, plus started another war. Im not fooled by his double talk. And of course, it is winding down time to the 2012 elections, so a major withdrawal that people want will in his eyes, endear him to the public, and that is what the democrats do, they go with whatever way the wind blows, trying to go with what is popular, instead of doing what needs to be done. So am I convinced, whether things are properly prepared for withdrawal, that he will pull them out for political reasons regardless. Lets watch and see.

      • Marten

I agree Jay because the next target is ”IRAN”

      • Johnnyrite

You hit the nail right on the head Jay. CNN is reporting this afternoon that if President Obama makes good on his promise and pulls out 33,000 troops in the next two years there will still be twice as many American forces on the ground as there were when President George W. Bush left office. Anybody remember the promises Richard Nixon made about Vietnam?

        • http://donthaveone Beberoni

I dont know what promises Nixon made, but I have always wondered why, when JFK started it, Lyndon Johnson grew it and escalated it, then Nixon came and ended it, why it was called Nixon’s war. Ive always wondered that.

    • 45caliber

      karolyn:

Many Muslims do like the aid the US is giving them. Money and soldiers. That doesn’t necessarily mean they like us personally. The real problem is that the want-to-be dictators among them are the ones with power and they don’t like us at all. They have controlled the rest by fear for so long that they may like us – but that won’t stop them from killing us if so ordered.

    • Angelwannabe

k, yeah right, Obama will draw our troops outta afghanistan and send them to Libya, our dear perpetual war president. Bush may have started it, but I don’t see Bambi ending it! Its Just another friggin lie!

    • Bud Tugly

I have spent considerable time in the Middle East and Malaysia… both Muslim areas but the difference is night and day. In the Middle East sharia law reigns and ignorance is a virtue. I Malaysia, almost everyone speaks English, welcomes Westerners, and the Muslims get along very well with their Christian, Chinese, Hindu, and Buddhist neighbors. Of course they have some extremist fundamentalist nut jobs, but then so do we (some contribute to this site), but overall the population is very tolerant and eager to engage the rest of the world. The people there are quick to disassociate themselves from those in the Middle East.

I also spent time in Afghanistan in the early 70s. The people there have not changed much since the time of Alexander the Great. Without a cultural sea change they are unlikely to change much in the future.

      • karolyn

        Thanks, Bud.

      • Jana

Bud, Great evaluation. I agree. As i said before not all Muslim Nations hate us, just like not all muslims are bad people.
Most Muslims came over here to be free, but the head Imams want to bring Sharia Law over here to enslave them again as well as enslave us.

      • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Ever been to Africa Bud? In the military, it seems the African blacks did not like the American Blacks at all, but they were overyly friendly with the white and filipino guys, and treated us really good as friends, but wanted nothing to do with the black guys. They said they give them a bad name in the world. I think these middle eastern muslims do the same thing with other muslims, only thing is, I dont see any of them here rising up voicing their displeasure against them, and you never will, because the whole tenant of their religion is, is if you dont think like they do, your an infidel and worthy of death. Sorry, not making this up, that is just how it is written in their world.

    • MJ Montana

Really karolyn? That the Afghans interact with American troops in a “nice” way. Every catch that Sixties Show. It had all the pictures and video of the Vietnamese “interacting” with our GIs. Maybe we should should be still fighting that war. We probably would except for people “making things worse.” Ever hear of the 100 Years War? It is coming to a threatre near you.

    • http://Moreexpensive,moreunknowproblems. Lewis Munn

      Karolyn,

      Are you a Muslim?

Have you ever read the Muslim Book, on how to behave, how to believe, and how the earth came about, etc? All the things their religion says happened, and all the things they MUST do to be pure and good and get to “heaven” and their eternal rewards? And do you believe it in its entirety as revealed Truth, to be scrupulously lived by?

Just curious about what filters you use on the facts.

      • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Silence. I kill you. I think they are kind of like that myself.

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Sorry Karolyn, you missed the boat on this one. McCain sides with Obama on this. He is a RINO, and that is exactly why he lost the election. Biggest mistake the Republicans ever made in an election, was running a career politician who is a Republican In Name Only.

  • Bubba

Pull all troops out of Europe and close all the bases. We are subsidizing the Socialist European econmy indirectly with all the money the soldiers, etc., spend. Bring back the neutron bomb and USE IT!
As for Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen and Libya, et al: Pull out and let them kill each other. They’ve been doing it for ages and nothing we do will stop it…

    • Vagabond

Bubba you are the brightes bulb in this chandalier old buddy,

    • JC

      Damn Straight!

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

I said that years ago, when France wouldnt let us use their air space, close all the bases and get out of there and quit subsidizing them. When Germany said they wouldnt help, close all those bases and bring all that equipment and men home. It is insane that we owe China billions, yet give them millions for other stuff subsidizing things. Its freaking insane. We give money to Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria and all these countries that which we were done away with. Its absolutely nuts. If we cut the foreign aid, we could pay off the national debt in no time at all. Insanity – the very description being doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Yet we keep doing the same thing over and over. Insanity is what it is.

  • http://aol.com sean murrey ILLInio

Cut the money to Afghanistan we need it here not some country that hates us.

    • Bruce D.

Obama’s foreign policies are really no different from Bush’s. He is only pulling an insignificant amount of troops out of Aftganistan and continues to Nation Build.

      • Dan az

Yea kinda like when he pulled the troops out of Irag then put them in afghan. This time it may be Iran or yemen.Since when can we afford to give money to balance another nations GDP? we can’t even do it here.Yet he borrows the money or prints it to bail out Egypt,Greece,Brazil,Spain,Yemen, and allot more.Where the hell is all of this money going to come from?Yep you and me.We are subsidizing other countries for who?UN of course, they now dictate the wars and bubba obliges them at every turn. And china just gives more until they say OK its time to pay it back now. What part of the country do you want to give up for the debt? The other day I read that we asked Irag to pay back the trillion dollars that we spent there,You know what they said?Yea right now get the hell out of our country. But but no buts get out.

    • Vagabond

cut the money to ALL of them. hell they all hate us ecept Japan,

      • DaveH

I don’t think South Korea or Taiwan or Germany hates us, do they?
Nevertheless, whether they like us or not, they should pay for their own defense. If we keep going like we are, wasting all our wealth on military excursions, we soon will become defenseless ourselves.
We need to butt out of other countries business, get our military out of their countries, and get our Government out of our Marketplaces. Let consumers decide which businesses succeed and which fail. Take the decisions out of self-interested politicians’ hands.

        • Dan az

Dave can you just imagine for a moment that if we did not have troops all over the world and three wars going on, what kind of shape this country would be in right now?I just can’t believe that it has lasted this long!

          • Kate8

DaveH and Dan – Have you heard of the book “Confessions of an Economic Hitman”? I haven’t read it, but I’ve listened to talks and interviews with the author (don’t recall his name right now), who used to be one (hitman), and he tells how the elites manipulate world nations through economic and financial strategies. Believe me, they are brutal.

It’s eye-opening info. You might want to check it out. There is much more behind us giving foreign “aid” than we realize.

          • karolyn

Kate – Is he the same guy who is in the Zeitgeist video? It sounds familiar.

          • Dan az

Yes, we need it here, to finance all the living proofs it is our own government who hates us the most and wants to enslave us to unthinkingly do their Master’s bidding!!

  • DJB

    RIGHT ON BUBBA!

What to keep soldiers, (and anyone else we must pay), defend US borders and fix infrastructure.

    • Bruce D.

A good idea but we must also drill for our own oil, pull out of the Middle East totally and stop sending aide to Israel if we want to be able to stop policing the world in a safe mannor.

      • Al Sieber

I agree, sooner or later we’ll run out of money.

        • Kate8

Al – There is no money. It’s all nothing but air, and we won’t be running out of air anytime soon.

It’s all an illusion and, as long as we believe it, it works. When they decide to declare us “out of money” and bring on total collapse, we won’t question it.

Since, under Sharia, no one is allowed to actually create anything of value, the only source of wealth (other than oil, which only benefits the rulers) is booty. That is what they consider our “aid” in Islamic nations. The US may have the expectation that they’ve bought the right to call the shots over there, but they’ll tell us whatever we want to hear with no intention of living up to it. They’ll take us in increments, with the goal being to get it all down the road.

          • Dan az

            Welcome back kate missed ya.
It seems to me that we are at the final stages of the NWO,the only thing that is missing is world war 111 to finish off their life long dream.I find it hard to believe that it hasn’t started yet.It will of course its just being played out for the elites to make a little bit more money.People that can’t see it are just not going to,not in this life time.

          • Kate8

Dan az – I agree. I think WWIII is well underway. We just haven’t seen the troops on our streets yet, but they are on standby.

I was knocked offline last Friday, and had to redo my info with my provider. None of it made sense. It’s been fine for years the way it was.

I don’t think the elites are concerned about making more money. They already own everything, including us. I think they are just wrapping up the final stages of world collapse, and completing their safe bunkers before all h*ll gets unleashed.

          • Dan az

Kate sorry to hear that.I hear the one in Colorado is complete. And I just found out that here at belmount base they store nukes along with chemical and bio weapons under ground.Nothing like being to close heh!bummer!

Kate8, sorry to hear that. Glad yer back…missed ya! :)

          • Kate8

Dan az – Yes, and they’ve been busy killing off all of the micro-biologists who’ve worked on weaponized pathogens. They don’t want anyone getting a conscience, nor do they want any antidotes getting out. It’s an interesting story to search out. Last count I had, many months ago, was 84. There have been more since then.

The culling has begun. The germs have been genetically engineered to be immune to all things that normally are used. Stock up on nano-silver and things like MMS and wild Mediterranean oil of oregano. They can’t become immune to these things, which kill nearly all known pathogens.

I agree with the both of you.Total withdrawl, that is the only option. We can’t be world policemen.Israel isn’t part of the problem, its all the problem.Like I said in the earlier posts Israel was caught spying and selling our sensitive technology to communist China, giving arms and aid to the Iranians in their fight against Saddam Hussein’s forces.I hope we don’t follow the same self destructive past as the Romans did.Israel is out for Israel,no one else.If Ron Paul wins the primaries I am voting for him.Partial withdrawl never, total withdrawl yes.Bring our troops home Mr. President in 2012.Oops I for got I meantPresident Ron Paul.

        • Al Sieber

coal miner, I agree with you about Ron Paul, as far as Israel goes I think the Jesuits have a lot to do with it also, there’s a lot of stuff coming out of the Vatican we don’t know about, anyways we’re screwed either way. maybe.

JeffH – And the past 2 popes (at least) have been communist.

We have a whole world of Catholics, who utterly trust in the Pope’s infallibility, and are being steered straight into acceptance of the NWO. The Pope has openly called for World Government.

Most Catholics do not read the Bible, and especially Apocalypse (Revelation). If fact, they are discouraged from reading that final Chapter, so they are ignorant of the warnings being fulfilled by the Church even now.

To turn our back on Israel would be catastrophic for the United States Bruce. Of course, if you dont believe in God, you dont understand that. But for those of us who do, and have had the truth revealed to us, that would be the final nail in our coffin. And really, I dont want to go there just to prove that the Bible is correct, because it is.

Right, Dan. Too close for a lot of people to see it!

    • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Your right Dan. Because think about it. Politicians are lawyers. And just how to lawyers maneuver things? They do them in the way that will profit them the most money, because money is their god. We have given the keys to the asylum to the inmates, and its not faring to well for us now, is it?

  • Conservative at Birth

We are in Afghanistan and Iraq for the coming war with Iran which will occur in the not to distant future. We need to fly over Pakistani air space to get to Afghanistan. It seems to me that if we need to attack Iran, it would be less expensive (Treasure and Blood), if we simply used Aircraft Carriers and cruise missles or Nukes. Pull out of Afghanistan by the end of the year and leave a small force in Iraq to protect the Persian Gulf and the world oil supply. Then have the Saudis, Iraqis and Europe pay for it. Leave our bases in England, Germany, Japan and Korea for now if they are willing to pay for the costs. Otherwise pull them out now. If only it was that simple.

    • Bruce D.

I have no problem leaving bases in the countries you mention as long as they are paying 100% of the cost. Japan does but I do not know about the others. We should stop all foreign aide and close all bases who are not paying in full. Also. get out of the IMF.

When the event of 9/11 happened, I then turned to my husband & said we should bring every one of our troops home, stop immigration (any kind), round up & deport illegals, shut down our borders & have our military guard said borders; and let the rest of the world do what it does. Well, I was right about one thing anyway; we’re at war.

Why did you not hate Cheney, Bush’s controller? Didn’t you see that Bush’s brains were fried?

    Karolyn,

DO you actually believe the “pieces with Americans interacting with Muslims…where the people are very warm and praise the US”?! You do know, don’t you, that they are “allowed” to lie to the infidel to accomplish the greater “good” of jihad???!

I think you might be gullible.

    • Kate8

Elevenarrows – Stick around and you’ll see that karolyn is the resident airhead. She believes that Islam is a religion of peace, that the economy is improving under Obama, and that he is a great president.

      • DaveH

“Airhead” is a little harsh, Kate, more like naive.

        • Dan az

Actually Dave I think more hallucinogenic stuper is more fitting.

          • Kate8

DaveH – Naivete only stretches so far…she’s had enough info to begin to get the picture.

Perhaps denial is more appropo. She just refuses to see.

          • karolyn

I see what I see; you see what you see. I am far from an airhead btw.

      • Wayne937

Kate, let Karolyn tell that to all the folks families that these Muslim Terroist has beheaded in the past. She would probably beg for mercy. I know I would be violent if one of my family members had their head chopped off and Karolyn would tell me how nice the Muslim Terrorist were.

    • karolyn

ALL MUSLIMS DO NOT HATE US!!!

      • Kate8

karolyn – Wake up, girl! Do some real reading for a change.

Muslims are REQUIRED BY THE KORAN TO HATE US.

Moreover, they are instructed to make peace with the Infidel until they are strong enough to overpower him. But it’s all mandatory deception. They even have names for these tactics, spelled out in the Hadith.

Any Muslims who do not hate us(???) are not practicing their religion, and are therefore considered by their own people to be apostate, which is on a par with the Infidel.

        • karolyn

Well, then, there are a lot of apostate Muslims.

          • eddie47d

That is the unfortunate part where we are expected to hate them and they are expected to hate us. There are those on each side who fuel the fires. Our pulling out of the Middle East may not stop anything but it may force them to choose a new target.

          • Kate8

eddie – Not quite. Actually, we are expected to accept them and defer to their religious practices, while keeping our own behind closed doors.

I don’t believe most Americans hate them, because Americans don’t understand such a belief system that seeks to convert or kill. We are not about hate.

What is unfortunate is that we aren’t told the truth about them and their intent toward us, so that we can be wary and know what they are really about. At least we wouldn’t be so ready and willing to give away the farm without a wimper.

          • http://Moreexpensive,moreunknowproblems. Lewis Munn

There are a lot of Muslims who are waiting their time. They already know whom to hate, and just waiting their time to unleash the Jihad and cleanse the world for Islam!

However, those who are truly Christian, not CINOs, understand how it will eventually end. Just not the timeframe precisely.

          • April

I doubt that Karolyn, I have serious red flags regarding those of Muslim faith. I have seen one or two that I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. But I have to go with my gut and what I have learned to be true.

i agree lewis . but while he was here here could also go there. now since 1914 he is limited to earth. my point was that man still thinks here has the answers and he doesn’t. most people don’t get it. they have no faith in god . only in man and he has screw himself for 6000 years and won’t stop. you see everything going on around you and it’s not pretty. it is coming to an end . one that most people won’t like.

  • Alex

I know that you Reich Wingers enjoy heaping stuff on President Obama, but can you at least be fair in reference to the financing of “foreign wars against Islamic countries that hate us.”?

The war in Afghanistan is in response to the attacks of September the 11th, 2001, which occurred during the reign of the Bush II “Administration”, a regime that HAD IGNORED intelligence warnings of JUST SUCH AN ATTACK.

Bush, as you may remember, promised to go through “every hole in Afghanistan” to locate the purported perpetrators of the horrors of 911, Osama bin Laden and Al Queda. Locating them proved way beyond the capacity of the Republican administration during the seven plus years they held sway (something the Obama Administration accomplished in just two years), but that crucial failing did allow the Cheney/Rumsfeld/Wolfowitz War Machine to parlay their PRE-911 plan to invade Iraq into a jackpot by taking the attention of the very easily distracted Amerikan sheeple from their dropping the ball on 911.

President Barack Hussein Obama has clearly been a disappointment to nearly all sectors of this very tired country—we on the Left see that he is just another mainstream Empire Capitalist, bent on continuing our nasty ways; you scaredy-pants folks on the Rot, I mean the Right, see him as some sort of evil bogeyman, a Socialist (hardly) or Marxist (HAAA!!!)who wants your guns. Plus….he’s Black. He has failed, but not for the non-reasons you people parrot. He will be remembered as just another middling two-term president, but to decry his spending on two wars not of his making, but due to Republican myopia and frothing at the imperialist bit. Remember—those thugs had planned to take Iraq, a non-enemy led by a secular dictatorship at odds with Islam, BEFORE they even stole their way into the White House and then delivered 5000+ of your mercenary kids into early graves. Quit dodging that—the reasoned people in this country and most of the rest of the world knows it sticks.

And a note to Mr Myers: “{Z}ero prospects for advancing beyond the Stone Age”? Such a sunny view of Humanity! Hope you don’t have children…

    • Jay

Alex, you are truly deluded! There is absolutely no difference or distinction between the Bush’s administration with respect to the war in the middle east and that of the Obama’s administration, except, and only, in tactics and strategies! With the Bush administration if was the false flag of terrorism, with the Obama’s administration its all about protecting human rights and spreading democracy, HOGWASH! Its about greed and the lust for power, its brutal colonialism, nothing more. If the muslims, therefore, hate the west, it is with damn good reason! Are you so out of touch with reality that you actually believe that with Obama we have a different administration that is totally the opposite of the Bush administration? You poor deluded simpleton! Both administrations are one and the same, but employing different tactics and strategies, but the GOAL? remains the same! Destabilize, destroy and ultimately seize total control of the middle east by establishing western democratic government. Another words, complete take over and complete governance of the middle east. When are you going to get it trough your THICK skull, that the puppet show of left vs right, is nothing more then that, a puppet show, designed to fool simpletons such as yourself!

      • jibbs

Jay, you said that we spread Democrocy. How can we spread Democrocy, when in fact, We Are A Republic!! But I understand what you are saying, and agree, 100%

      • http://Moreexpensive,moreunknowproblems. Lewis Munn

Sorry. We are not exporting our ideas on governance. We are importing totalitarian ideas from the Islamic states; note how the present government is rapidly removing our freedoms and increasing the spying on all of us! And collecting information on all aspects of our lives. And progressively restricting the exercise of Christianity, in all aspects of life now? Have you never read Orwell’s “1984″?

    • DaveH

He does want our guns, Alex. You just need to open your ears, and really listen.
Your statement “he is just another mainstream Empire Capitalist” is true though. But what you fail to see is that Crony Capitalism and Empire Building has been part of the Democrat Party for a very long time, since at least Woodrow Wilson (longer ago for Republicans).
Start studying, Alex, and lift that veil of ignorance. You can do it. Go to websites mises.org, reason.org, cato.org, and reason.com to learn about reality. Also watch John Stossel and Judge Napolitano (I love that guy) on Fox Business Network. Be the first Liberal on your block to learn some common sense.

      • jibbs

High Five!! DaveH. He is right Alex, read for yourself, don’t rely on another MSM, or anyone else. Visit the sites that DaveH posted. Just learn and educate yourself. Both partys are corrupt to the bone..thats for SURE! Depend on yourself, not the government! They only think about their own pockets, and not yours! The only thing a government creates when left un-checked is misery and the utmost control of everything and all of it’s citizens…..I will never be a slave to any government, never, never, never, ever. I will live free by the will of GOD, and survive with like minded people who Cherish FREEDOM!

        • Alex

Contrary to what you people obviously think, I do visit comservative websites, read conservative press, etc. I have made that clear many times here.

Question: Do any of you Fright Wingers ever get variant news? Ever watch LinkTV or listen to Rachel Maddow, etc? I don’t think you people do, but let me know, okay? I mean, if you seriously want me to check out your sources is it not fair to suggest you do the same? I mean, even if you disagree with what you hear, is it not better to be more informed, more well-rounded in your approach?

War has been the Democrat way to control the economy and the people’s attention off Washington and the debt since FDR. When people are concerned about the lives of their children they are a lot less likely to object to spending money to provide those children with a way to remain alive.

Further, since the libs hate and fear the military, war is a great way to get the military out of the way – literally – and reduce their numbers at the same time.

  • Kate8

So right, 45. We’ve been being set up for a very long time.

BTW, here is article that will curl your hair. UN Agenda 21 is now the law of the land, and under full swing. It has unlimited implications.

    http://ppjg.wordpress.com/2011/06/19/just-another-brick-in-the-wall-un-agenda-21-in-us-law/

    • DaveH

Very well put together article, Kate.
Now, when are you going to face the fact that the Republican Leaders aren’t going to change that?

      • Dan az

        Dave?
what makes you think that she sees that Republican Leaders aren’t going to change that?
        Where is that coming from?

      • Kate8

        DaveH – ?????

I have always confessed to being conservative, but I gave up the R Party long ago. I’m not witless.

I like the Libertarian ideals for the most part, although I think they lean a bit too heavily toward anarchy. I do believe society works better with a few standards from which to operate.

        • Vigilant

          Kate8,

          I agree completely.

If nothing else, the Constitution established “rule of law” instead of rule by persons. The “democratization” of America through such things as the 17th Amendment, along with voters electing the politicians who will pander to their selfish interests only, and schools that propagandize the children, are now resulting in a dumbed-down, indolent society that can only ask “what’s in it for me?”

It’s precisely the anarchical tendencies of Libertarianism that have kept me at bay. Chip Wood published an article some time ago extolling the virtues of the Articles of Confederation, and, as I recall, lamented the fact that the states lost power as a result of the Constitution. The sad fact is that, if the Articles had remained in force, there would have been no nation born as we know it.

While I definitely subscribe to the 10th Amendment, it appears sometimes that Libertarians wish to return to the Articles in favor of scrapping the powers granted to the Federal Government by the Constitution. That these powers have been vastly exceeded by a government grabbing it at every turn, especially in the 20th-21st centuries, has been highly distressing and bodes nothing good for our future if continued.

The balance of Federal/state power by the Constitution was the most perfect government created by any nation in history. Sad it has changed so much.

        • DaveH

Getting us back to the Constitution is too much for you, Kate?

          • DaveH

I know, Freedom is a scary thing for most people.
I would love the dynamism and the peace that would come from contented people making voluntary contracts and voluntary choices.
Yes, there would still be evil people, but at least there wouldn’t be so many in Government where they can most effectively harm us with their evil.

          • Kate8

DaveH – What’s up with you today? You know what I stand for.

The Constitution does lay out some standards, Dave. It in no way advocates for anarchy.

          • DaveH

For those who would like to inquire about the ways in which Libertarians think the world could be improved by much less Government and people exercising their natural rights to control their own bodies and property. Best of all it’s FREE:
            http://mises.org/books/newliberty.pdf

          • DaveH

            Kate,
Name me one country that has ever had Anarchy? There will always be rules. There will always be Leaders. It’s just human nature.
You need to get that public school propaganda eradicated from your brain.
Most people equate Anarchy to Chaos. Now, where would that have come from? Mine came from public school. Others may have heard it on the propaganda channels. But, it’s a common theme. Problem is that there have only been a couple of Anarchist societies in history, so where they came up with that concept is beyond me since there’s no proof. Well, I do suspect where it came from — Big Government Leaders who wanted people to be contented serfs.
But the truth is, that the only Chaos I’ve ever known was that created when Governments finally became too Big and Costly, so therefore melted down into Chaos.

          • DaveH

This book might be more relevant to the current point (and it’s shorter):
            http://mises.org/books/chaostheory.pdf

          • DaveH

From chaos theory — “Not only will
market law be more efficient, it will also be more equitable, than the
            government alternative”.
I can tell you that I’m personally experiencing that right now. My brother (a mental bully) wrangled the executorship from my mother (since dead) 7 years ago. She initially was going to name me, but my older brother got wind of that and raised hell until she complied with his wishes. I didn’t resist, because I didn’t know then just how dishonest he was. So fast forward to present. It’s not a big estate, and he’s decided to go off the reservation ignoring most of the rules of executorship. It’s cost me $5,000 so far to attempt to reign him in, but the courts are crowded and they give about 15 minutes per case, not nearly enough to achieve any kind of real justice. And the procedures, I think, are purposely mind boggling to prevent people from being unrepresented. Sure, I could get justice if I’m willing to spend 10s of thousands of dollars, but the estate (my part) is only worth about 40 thousand. The government-run courts are ridiculous. They have no incentive to please the customers.

          • Dan az

Sorry to hear bud.At least we know what wrong today. If its any help I could send a few red and whites your way to visit with him!Don’t let it eat you up bud there is always karma and its a bitch.

          • DaveH

            Kate,
The reason I said “Getting us back to the Constitution is too much for you, Kate?” was that I expect more from you than that Old Tired Big Government fostered propaganda that Libertarians are all Anarchists. Personally I’d be ecstatic to get the Government back to obeying the Constitution as Jefferson and Madison envisioned it.
We’re a long way from that goal.
Yes, some Libertarians advocate a voluntary society where things are based on contracts and market forces. Personally, I don’t we’re mature enough or moral enough for such a system yet, but the author of Chaos Theory makes some pretty good points. And note, please, that just because I post a link, it does not mean that I agree 100% with the author. Ever.

But that isn’t the Party Platform.
Here is the Party Platform, once again:
            http://www.lp.org/platform
I’ve posted it hundreds of times (ask Bob, lol).
See if you can find anything about Anarchy in it.

          • Kate8

DaveH – For someone who claims to be so adamant about individual liberty and choices, you sure come on strong, every day, beating us up if we differ from your way of thinking at all.

I am my own person, Dave, and I don’t appreciate your brow-beating and contemptuous, self-righteous attitude these days. You seem to get ever more intolerant every day of anyone else’s thinking. That doesn’t seem very Libertarian to me.

You have always been one of my favorite posters, Dave. Lately, though, you just seem to think you are right about everything, and that the rest of us are hapless morons if we hold a different view.

Chill out, brother. You of all people should know that forcing ideas on people is not the way to go.

          • DaveH

Unbelievable. You throw the Anarchy word at me, akin to calling Conservatives extremists, and you talk about me beating up on you?
You have been getting a very thin skin lately.
            You Chill.

          • DaveH

I’ve put up with the Bully Republicans and the Thieving Democrats my entire adulthood. And you whine about me forcing you to do something?
You ought to have to walk in Libertarian shoes for a while.

          • Kate8

            DaveH – ME thin skinned?

Reread your last posts. You are incapable of hearing what others have to say if it differs from your views, and you fly into a tizzy when anyone challenges you. You appear set, rigid and closed-minded, and no matter how I’ve tried, there is no reasoning with you.

I’m okay with others disagreeing with me. Unlike you, I am not in the least threatened by those who have different ways of seeing things, as long as they don’t try to restrict mine.

I would say that I am more Libertarian than you are.

          • Kate8

“I’ve put up with the Bully Republicans and the Thieving Democrats my entire adulthood. And you whine about me forcing you to do something?
You ought to have to walk in Libertarian shoes for a while.”

Holy cow, DaveH. You and the rest of America. Some just figure it out earlier than others.

They can talk all they want about bringing the troops home, but try to look at their propective. If they bring the troops home the goverment will not have to buy war supplies(guns ammo ect) which would mean more job lay-offs for and company who are the main suppliers, this would bring more people to the job market (right now unemployment in vegas is 13.9%)It is cheaper to keep paying our troops (at poverty level)than to pay unemployment, food stamps and medicaid. And although I can’t remember who said it it was said after vietnam (of which my husband is a vet)that they had taken out 54000 troops from the job market which doing the math if each vet had came home and had two children it would have put another 162000 people here (inc vets)and it keeps growing. This sounds really calis, but it seems like the polticians feel the “little people” are expendable and have come up with a manageable birth control. We are more concerned with keeping the war machine growing and protecting the rights of everyone else in the world than in protecting ours.Bring our troops home, send the illegals back wherever they came from,re-instate the constituion, our bill of rights,re-train the police department back to protect and service statis, put immagration back to where it was a 100 years ago(make them prove they can speak english and self-support)and start spending with in the taxpayers budget. It’s time we started taking care of our own.

It is my understanding that afghanistan earns MOST of its money from growing opium poppies. Also our troops and representatives have been instructed NOT to touch the poppy fields. The U.S. has spent untold amounts of TAXPAYER money teaching these backward people to grow edible crops, but they insist on growing poppies.

Why are we meddling in these middle east countries? We have sufficient oil and resources here in AMERICA to take care of our needs.

As in Russia, Afghanistan, Venezuella, Iraq…it is the NWO choice who wins.

Obama was set to be president at least a decade ago by the NWO elites. It was all planned out. They go to a lot of trouble to win the votes of the masses, but I doubt if they require them. It just looks better if people think it was their choice.

      • Libertarian

You are 100% right on, Kate8! The ONLY thing that could tip the scale is if ALL Sheeple woke up & took back what’s rightfully ours! However, whenever that happens (France last year, Greece last year & now, Syria right now) the effort is not sustained LONG enough (as the Others have ALL the resources at thier disposal) and usually dies off too quickly to make a lasting, REAL change… and in a short time, the pendulum swings back to the status quo…

        • Kate8

Libertarian – Agenda 21 is being implemented now. Floods, fires, hurricanes, earthquakes, bankruptcies and mortgage defaults…all designed to get us off our land and herded into congested colonies, stacked up several stories in small, European (or Chinese) style cubicles…the ones who escape Camp FEMA, that is.

It is planned for us to be utterly subdued, incapable of resisting.

          • karolyn

Kate – Are you seriously suggesting that floods, hurricanes, fires and tornadoes are government created?

karolyn…High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP)…The Weather Modification Operations and Research Board was a proposed agency of the United States government, intended to promote research into weather control. A bill creating of the board was introduced in the U.S. Senate on two occasions by Texas Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson, the first on March 4, 2004, and the second on March 3, 2005. The bill did not become law.

In the US, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration regulates weather control projects, under authority of Public Law 205 of the 92nd Congress. This agency does not perform research into weather modification.

Conspiracy theorists question the possibility of using weather control as a weapon (e.g. via HAARP and/or chemtrails), At a counterterrorism conference in 1997, United States Secretary of Defense William Cohen referred to the writings of futurist Alvin Toffler, specifically regarding concerns about “environmental terrorism” and intentionally caused natural disasters.

          • Kate8

karolyn and JeffH – All I know is that if they aren’t triggering these things via HAARP, they are doing an awfully good job of knowing when they are going to hit.

Preparations have already been underway for when the New Madrid quake hits, as well as the west coast.

There are plenty of experts who explain just how HAARP works, and signs to look for when HAARP is at play. Not to mention the destruction of millions of sea animals from their “experiments” (the military posted their intent to “sacrifice” millions of sea creatures about 3 years ago).

          • Christin

            Kate8,
            JeffH,

HAARP… like creating an ‘earthquake under the water’ in Japan to collapse that fragile economy…

Wow, HAARP… who comes up with stuff like that…some crazy doomsday plan… someone with too much time on their hands and and evil spirit.

          • Kate8

Christin – A few years ago, a Japanese official made statement that they were forced into doing as they were told by the world controllers and MIC because they had been threatened with some kind of “earthquake machine”, or some such.

I can’t remember the issue…it was something that Japan didn’t want to comply with.

Looks like they may have drawn a line in the sand, and the PTB made good on their threat.

Please,Please get over this idiotic idea that any one party is responsibility for declaring “WAR” on these oil rich countries in that giant sandpit of the middle east. Can you make yourself believe that with doctrine/religious belief of the Koran stating that you are either muslim or to be eliminated, that no matter how much money we throw into that sandpit, will in the long term make one iota of difference? The one and only reason that the asinine costs, declaring war, borrowing from enemies to perpetuate, wasting the most precious item, the lives (physical/mental) of our soldiers is to make the rich, richer! If for any reason of disbelief check out the investments, monies made by the members of congress on the blood/backs of the working majority of this, the country they swore to protect and serve! Never forget it AlWAYS takes the majority of these two faced professional liars to do the correct decision for the best for the country or for the benefit to themselves, and, only they have that power that we the people gave them based on the promises before being elected. The bottom line the whole filth of the total selling of AMERICA rests on their crookedness only!

    • Wayne937

coalminer, God had already destroyed the world once if you are a believer in the Bible. He destroyed it by water nearly 2000 years ago. I certainly hope you have heard of Noah’s Ark. This has been proven over the years as they have found sea fossils in some of the highest mountains on earth. Since he did it once, he certainly can do it again. Yes, all these calamities we are seeing today could very well be God’s telling us we have got too wicked. It also happened in Rome. I supposed you have heard of the “Fall of Rome”. According to the Bible the folks in Rome turned against God like a lot of people are doing today. You had better get on your knees, coalminer. I am beginning to believe that a lot of the folks today are letting the Devil rule their lives instead of letting God in their lives. Look at all the killings, rapes, and all the other crimes against humanity that is happening today. Yes! their is a Devil and their is a God. It just depends who you want in your life.

The government of the United States has been purchased by world central banking. War would not be possible anywhere in the world without the world’s bankster elite and the interest we all pay on our war debt.

1600 Watch is sick and tired of watching our kids die for banking profit. We have become a paddock filled with sheep.

We the people must say no and say it loudly.

For those of you who still trust FoxNews:

    http://www.wnd.com/?pageId=314041

    • JeffH

Kate8, I don’t “trust” any news source. I do watch FOX off and on because they do allow the otherside to voice their opinions. You and I both know you have to verify everything you hear, whether FOX or any other network. I don’t buy into everything WND prints either because they can cloud the issues with sensational headlines much the same as The Inquirer and can be just as “vague” as any other source. Anymore, I prefer to use multiple searches to verify information.

      • Kate8

JeffH – It’s true. We cannot really trust any source.

However, I’m really seeing that FoxNews, while presenting both sides, is only presenting “approved” issues. They avoid the ones the elites don’t want talked about.

They all do this, but many people DO trust FoxN. They are no more worthy of trust than CNN.

        • JeffH

Kate8, I do use FOX to get updates on issues that the other networks won’t report but I’m always gonna’ check the stories out. Like I said, I won’t trust any of them as a single source.

          • JeffH

…I’ll add that if there is any group on FOX I do trust, It’s the FOX Buiness channel, Stossel, Napolitano, Varney, Cavuto and that bunch.

Libertarian, thanks for this documentary. It was very informative. 87% of the people that are invited to FOX are Republicans. I thought it would be higher.

    • Wayne937

Kate8, how do we realy know, down deep, that we can trust WND? I will continue to watch Fox News. I will watch Bill O’reilly, Sean Hannity and Greta until I am satified that they are lying to me. I also watch Glenn Beck as often as possible, but next week will be his last week. I will miss Glenn as I feel he has explained to us what is coming in the future. I think some people are either too dumb, or maybe are just unaware of what is happening in this country. We are living in some very dangerous times. We need to wake up, and make ourselves aware of what is going on around us and what this corrupt Federal Government is up to. If we can get this Muslim out of office next year, I’ll still have some faith left in most of the folks. If Obama should win again in 2012, you will see a complete failure in this country before his term is up as he will will not have to worry about anymore elections.

  • chuckb

kate8, to be sure who you vote for is legit, just watch which one the media denigrates and the party hacks don’t like, you can be sure then.

    EVERYONE. HEADS UP.

Robert Smith is posting a URL in this blog that has to do with boycotting Fox News.

DO NOT….I REPEAT (EMPHATICALLY)…DO NOT OPEN OR ACCESS THIS URL!!!

I did last night to give him the benefit of the doubt regarding some facts and within 30 seconds my home computer was TOAST!! I run Kaspersky on my computers. I had alerts popping up all over the place that a virus had been detected, some program was trying to access a UDP (that’s a type of port and is related to protocols), and different windows started to pop up to block the attack. As soon as I clicked on one of the windows my desktop went “POOF”. I’ve been trying since to recover but to no avail. All my files are gone, my workspace is clear, and the “task manager” shows 2 users active but I can’t close either of them out. I’ve run kaspersky 5 times now to no avail. My restore points have been removed and no files can be located even though my hard drive is full. I cannot even access the directory tree. This virus/malware is serious CRAP!!

For EVERYONES benefit. DO NOT OPEN ANY URLs PROVIDED BY ROBERT SMITH OR ANY URLs INDICATING A TOPIC OF BOYCOTT AGAINST FOX NEWS AS A MINIMUM PRECAUTION. I would seriously be skeptical of any URLs posted by any of the Progressive Liberalretards on this site.

Be forewarned!! All I have for a computer now is my laptop. If I knew where Mr. Smith resided I’d be slamming him with federal charges for promulgating this virus and then go after him for reparations.

    • JeffH

Rick, thanks for the warning and I hope that Mr. Livingston and PLD have deleted that post.

I never did trust Robert Smith and many of the other inflammatory posters that seem to frequent PLD. Today, ALEX comes to mind.

    • DaveH

      Thanks for the warning, Rick.

    • Jay

I wouldn’t put anything past mr.smith or his demon worshiping friend, coal miner! For sure, a couple of seriously disturbed puppies, and not in a cute way!

    • Wayne937

Rick, if thid ever happens to you again, just hit hit the power button for 5 to 10 seconds and turn off the computer at the first sign of a virus. Leave all programs on when you do it.

  • Kate8

Rick – Thanks for the warning. That’s terrible, and scary.

I almost never open a link posted by a Lefty. I’ve seen this happen before with some of their links. I only open links from posters whom I trust.

My computer stopped dead on me last Friday. I wasn’t allowed to access the net or my emails. I had to call my provider and redo all my user info and allow them more access to my programs.

I wonder if all this stuff is because DHS is implementing tighter controls on the internet.

    • JeffH

You never know…coal miner has posted links with viruses in the past, although I don’t think intentionally.

Don’t listen to coal miner. I think he is just a bored elderly man that is full of prunes. He enjoys getting a reaction out of folks, me thinks. But I do not think he would put out a virus like Robert Smith would. Now Robert Smith is one evil dude. And for what it is worth, you are one of my favorite posters. • Jay

coal miner, you are one messed up puppy! No one here, except your sodomite buddy, robert smith, takes you seriously, and even he only uses you as ballast for his ship going nowhere!

          • JeffH

Jay, I can only take coal miners ad hominem attack as a compliment.

          • Jay

Jeff, I have a sneaking suspicion that coal actually admires you and his attack was for the purpose to destroy that which he is not, nor ever will be. So I suppose, you may be correct!

  • Kate8

BTW, I don’t think all of our computer activities are being monitored in real time, necessarily. I read that everything we do goes into a databank. I suspect that, at some point, if we are detained or arrested for something, it will be examined at that time in order to find “evidence” against us.

As things degenerate into a full police state, we can commit “crimes” without even knowing it. It will be an excuse to round people up.

    History repeating.

Nobody should be surprised at any thing the marxist muslim moron is doing to the USA. He said he was steeped in everything counter to what America stands for, and was going all over knocking the USA where ever he went. Still there was enough stupid dumb bas-ards to put him into office. With his maexist/communist democrat party loons along with money from Nazi Traitor Soros, telling them what to do, why the surprise. Next time anyone starts complaining about lack of jobs, ask the ignorant f–k ups, who they and their family voted for over the years. Between the NoCare, Banking Reform Bill, and all the 6000 new regulations coming at the public and businesses sectors, there will be none or minus jobs coming to the citizens. The housing prices keep dropping and see no bottom, with out any reality showing yet. In the next 2 years, watch all prices on food to go thru the roof, as government takes over more control of more private property, as our money become more worthless, not just devalued. Since the regional bank centers are forecasting all land and property values, to drop between 50-75% of present value. Over the last 25 years the forecasts have come pretty close in the facts of things happening. After listening to another one of Onunutts liars from the Fed Res. another dust up over in anther pedophile worshipping country or 2 is likely.

I think we would be better off to isolate Islam and not accept any more Muslim immigrants into the USA, the EU, or other non-Islamic countries. Nothing we have done so far will prevent the destruction of western civilization.

  • chuckb

we shouldn’t isolate them, they should be removed back to their home country and send barry with them.

  • Tom Anderson

    Dear Mr. Myers,

Why do you ignore the MOST important relationship of Obama – his CIA background?

When your maternal grandMommy, Mommy and Daddy are CLEARY associated with CIA what does THAT tell you? Obama’s CIA ties are a clear as a bell. We will never see his real BC because it is covered by our National Security Laws – NOTHING can be divulged about Obama – his fake graduation certificates and where he got all of his early financing.

Why do you avoid this KEY fact? Obamas IS the MIC!

But NO news outlet is propagating this KEY information.

Obama is simply like the two Bushes: ponds and agents of the MIC. Obama will do their bidding – count on it!

Israel our ALLY? Tell that to the sailors who were murdered and maimed on the USS Liberty!

  • Wayne937

I am not coming on this forum as much because I think it is useless to argue with the Obama Lovers. We will have to wait until Obama throws them under the bus before they will ever seen the light. I just feel sorrow for them since their eyes are still matted over, and they can’t seem to see the light. I think we will have enough supporters to oust this Muslim Communist in 2012 without them.

    • April

I am not able to come on these blogs very much as time rarely allows with my busy schedule; but I enjoy your comments and the support you bring to the conservative view. Just know that you are appreciated Wayne937.

      • Wayne937

Thank you for the kind words, April. April, I am 73 years old. I am retired. I do have a lot of time to spend on this forum, but when I hear some of the Liberals who speak in support for our Communist Muslim President, it really irritates me. Obama is ruining our country. I can plainly see this happening. I try to explain what he is doing, but the Liberals for some reason cannot see this. I grew up on a farm, and worked on farms up until the time I entered the military. We were poor folks growing up. My siblings and I had to work to help put food on the table. We didn’t have rich parents to spoil us by giving us money. I had nice parents who loved their children, and who taught us to be responsible. They taught us right from wrong, how to hard work, and taught us about the Bible, and the Golden Rule. I served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force and 30 years plus in law enforement. I thank my parents for my Conservative Values. When I hear Liberals complaining on this forum about Conservatives, I can bet that this type of people were not properly raised by their parents to be responsible, and to make their own way in life. Too many abled bodied folks thinks the taxpayers owe them a living. I just want to preserve this country for the young folks who are coming behind us and this takes hard work in keeping our nation free, and prosperous. I want them to be able to share in the bounties of a free nation which will also give them the same kind of life I have had, if they will only work for it, and keep it. I don’t want anything to do with Communist, Socialist, Marxism, or anything that can stifle the minds of free people. It seems that the Liberals like this kind of life and that is why they support a Communist President. I personally know that Obama is a Muslim as I have heard him twice saying he was. I also have personally knowledge that he is also a Communist when I heard him make that statement to Plumber Joe that “We have to share the wealth” around. I liken this to a kid that works hard in school, and gets an A for his hard work. Another kids goofs off, disrupts the class, and fails to do his homework gets an F. The teacher begins to feel sorry for the kid that was goofing off. The teacher ask the kid who has an A grade if they would be willing to drop to a B, and bring the kid up with the F up to a D so he can pass into the next grade. If I was the kid with the A, I can tell you, that I would not be willing to do this. I don’t think you will find any body else that would either. This may seem like a stange way to make my point, but I’ll bet you won’t find anyone who would do this.

        • April

You are so right Wayne937. It gets old watching people with their hands out and then getting anything they want without earning it when you have worked hard all your life for what you have and then learn that the plan is to take it away in order to spread the wealth around. You and I have had the oportunity to know what it feels like and how fulfilling it is to put in a good hard days work and earn something. Obama is robbing this generation and the upcomming ones of that privalege. I am so glad to meet you. People like you encourages me to keep up the fight for what is right. Like teaching my Granddaughter the two Golden Rules and the ten Commandments and the Constitution and our Country’s History, how to enjoy growing her own food, etc. Anyway, I understand that sometimes we need a break from all the left wing progressive commie agendas being shoveled down our thoats; but it’s always nice to see a blog from you. God bless you Wayne937.

Read yesterday’s Financial Times. They want to build another pipeline to Canada to pipe in oil. A lot of people are against it (mayors, environmentalists, probably Obama). They are trying to make the price of oil so high we don’t use it. We keep giving more $ to the people that hate us. Where I live, they all drive Mercedes, have huge houses, and it you speak to them, they don’t answer. They dislike us immensely. Didn’t Obama say in one of his books that he would follow the muslim way?
